வேதாகமத்தை நேசிப்போம்; வாசிப்போம் / LOVE AND READ THE SCRIPTURE

 'ஆதவன்' வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,029,               நவம்பர் 22, 2023 புதன்கிழமை

வேதவாக்கியங்களெல்லாம் தேவ ஆவியினால் அருளப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன; தேவனுடைய மனுஷன் தேறினவனாகவும், எந்த நற்கிரியையும்  செய்யத் தகுதியுள்ளவனாகவும் இருக்கும்படியாக, அவைகள் உபதேசத்துக்கும், கடிந்துகொள்ளுதலுக்கும், சீர்திருத்தலுக்கும், நீதியைப் படிப்பிக்குதலுக்கும் பயனுள்ளவைகளாய் இருக்கின்றன. ( 2 தீமோத்தேயு 3 : 16, 17 )

வேதாகமத்தை நாம் ஏன் வாசித்து அறியவேண்டுமென்றால் அது முதலில் தேவனால் நமக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்டது. அதாவது அவை தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைகள். அவற்றைத் தேவன் தனது பரிசுத்த ஆவியினால் பரிசுத்த மனிதர்கள்மூலம் நமக்கு அளித்துள்ளார். நம்மைப் படைத்துக், காத்து வழிநடத்தும் தேவன் நமக்கு என்னச் சொல்ல விரும்புகின்றார் என்பதை நாம் அறிந்திருக்கவேண்டுமல்லவா? எனவே அவற்றை நாம் வாசித்து அறியவேண்டும்.  

இரண்டாவது நாம் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் தேறினவர்களாக விளங்கவேண்டும். அதாவது நாம் அவரைப்போல பரிசுத்தமுள்ளவர்களாக மாறவேண்டும். அதற்கு, அவரது வார்த்தைகளை நாம் உட்கொள்ளவேண்டும். அவரது பெயரே பரிசுத்தர்தான். "நித்தியவாசியும் பரிசுத்தர் என்கிற நாமமுள்ளவருமாகிய மகத்துவமும் உன்னதமுமானவர் சொல்லுகிறார்" ( ஏசாயா 57 : 15 ) என்றுதான் ஏசாயா எழுதுகின்றார். எனவே அந்தப் பரிசுத்தரின்  வார்த்தைகளே நம்மையும் பரிசுத்தமாக்க முடியும். 

தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைகள் எப்படி நம்மைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்குகின்றன என்பதை இன்றைய வசனம் தெளிவாகக் கூறுகின்றது. அதாவது, நாம் "எந்த நற்கிரியையும்  செய்யத் தகுதியுள்ளவனாகவும் இருக்கும்படியாக, அவைகள் உபதேசத்துக்கும், கடிந்துகொள்ளுதலுக்கும், சீர்திருத்தலுக்கும், நீதியைப் படிப்பிக்குதலுக்கும் பயனுள்ளவைகளாய் இருக்கின்றன. " என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைகள் நமக்கு நல்ல உபதேசத்தைத் தருகின்றன. நாம் தவறும்போது கடிந்து நம்மைத் நிறுத்துகின்றன, அதனால் நமது வாழ்க்கைச் சீர்படுத்தப்படுகின்றது.  மேலும் நாம் தேவனுக்கேற்ற நீதியுள்ளவர்களாக வாழ நமக்குக் கற்றுத்தருகின்றது. 

மேலும், இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இந்த வார்த்தைகள் எப்போதும் நமக்குள் இருக்கவேண்டுமென்றும் நம்மில் அவை செயல்புரியவேண்டுமென்றும் விரும்புகின்றார். அவரது வார்த்தைகளுக்கேற்ப நாம் வாழும்போதே அவர் நமது வேண்டுதல்களை நிறைவேற்றுவார். இதனாலேயே அவர், "நீங்கள் என்னிலும், என் வார்த்தைகள் உங்களிலும் நிலைத்திருந்தால், நீங்கள் கேட்டுக்கொள்ளுவதெதுவோ அது உங்களுக்குச் செய்யப்படும்." ( யோவான் 15 : 7 ) என்று கூறினார். எனவே நாம் அவரது வார்த்தைகளை அறிந்திருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள்  தேறினவர்களாகவும் எந்த நற்செயல்கள் செய்யத் தகுதியுள்ளவனாகவும் இருக்கும்படியாக நம்மைக் கற்பித்து வழிநடத்தும் தேவ வார்த்தைகளை அறிந்தவர்களாகவும் அவற்றை வாழ்வாக்குபவர்களாகவும் வாழ வேண்டியது அவசியம்.  எனவே முதலில் நாம் அவரது வார்த்தைகளை அறிந்து அதில் தேறினவர்களாகவேண்டும். 

வேதாகமத்தை தேவனை அறியும் ஆவலில் வாசிக்கப் பழகவேண்டும். கடமைக்காக வாசிப்பது, அட்டவனைப் போட்டு இந்த நாளுக்கு இந்த வசனங்கள் என்று வாசிப்பது பலன் தராது. ஆர்வமும் நேரமும் இருந்தால் ஒரேநாளில்கூட ஒரு சில வேதாகம புத்தகங்களை நாம் வாசித்துவிடமுடியும். ஜெபத்துக்கும் வேத வாசிப்புக்கும் முன்னுரிமைகொடுக்கும்போது வேதத்தின் பல ரகசியங்களை நாம் அறிந்துகொள்ள முடியும். வேதாகமத்தை நேசிப்போம்; வாசிப்போம்; வாழ்க்கை மாற்றம் பெறுவோம்.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." (2 Timothy 3: 16,17)

Why should we read and understand the Bible? Because, it was first given to us by God. That is, they are the words of God. God has given them to us by His Holy Spirit through holy men. Shouldn't we know what the God who created us and guides us wants to tell us? So, we should read and know them.

Second, we must be chosen in Christ Jesus. That means we should become holy like him. For that, we have to take his words. His name is holy. "For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy;" ( Isaiah 57 : 15 ) So the words of that Holy Lord can make us holy.

Today's verse clearly states how God's words make us holy. That is, it is said that they are profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for teaching righteousness, so that we "may be worthy to do every good work."

God's words give us good instruction. Stops us when we do wrongs, so our lives are corrected. And it teaches us to live righteously according to God.

And Jesus Christ wants these words to be in us always and to work in us. He will grant our prayers as we live according to His words. This is why he said, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." (John 15: 7) So we need to know his words.

Yes, beloved, it is necessary to live knowing and living the words of God that teach and guide us so that we may be chosen in Christ and worthy to do any good works. So first we need to know his words and become proficient in them.

We should get used to reading the Bible with the desire to know God. Reciting as a duty, reading by putting schedule - these verses for this day - will not be effective. If we have interest and time, we can even read a few books of the Bible in one day. By prioritizing prayer and scripture reading we can learn many secrets of the scriptures. Let us love the Scriptures; Let's read; Let's get a life change.
