 'ஆதவன்' வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,036               நவம்பர் 29, 2023 புதன்கிழமை

"கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் தேவன் அழைத்த பரம அழைப்பின் பந்தயப்பொருளுக்காக இலக்கை நோக்கித் தொடருகிறேன். ஆகையால், நம்மில் தேறினவர்கள் யாவரும் இந்தச் சிந்தையாயிருக்கக்கடவோம்." ( பிலிப்பியர் 3 : 14,15 )

ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வின் ஓட்டத்தை அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் ஓட்டப்பந்தயத்துக்கு ஒப்பிட்டுக் கூறுவதை நாம்  கொரிந்தியருக்கு எழுதிய நிருபத்தில் வாசித்திருக்கின்றோம். அங்கு அவர் கூறுகின்றார், "பந்தயச் சாலையில் ஓடுகிறவர்களெல்லாரும் ஓடுவார்கள்; ஆகிலும், ஒருவனே பந்தயத்தைப் பெறுவானென்று அறியீர்களா? நீங்கள் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளத்தக்கதாக ஓடுங்கள்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 9 : 24 )

அதே கருத்தில்தான் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்திலும் கூறுகின்றார். ஒவ்வொரு பந்தயத்துக்கும் ஒரு இலக்கு உண்டு. இலக்கை அடைவதே வெற்றி. கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்வின் இலக்கு நித்தியஜீவன். அந்த இலக்கை நோக்கித் தான் செல்வதாகக் கூறும் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர், "நம்மில் தேறினவர்கள் யாவரும் இந்தச் சிந்தையாயிருக்கக்கடவோம்." என்று இன்றைய தியானத்தில் நம் அனைவர்க்கும் அழைப்பு விடுக்கின்றார். 

மட்டுமல்ல, "சகோதரரே, நீங்கள் என்னோடேகூடப் பின்பற்றுகிறவர்களாகி, நாங்கள் உங்களுக்கு வழிகாட்டுகிறபடி நடக்கிறவர்களை மாதிரியாக நோக்குங்கள்." ( பிலிப்பியர் 3 : 17 ) என்று தனது மாதிரியை நாம் பின்பற்றவேண்டும் என்கின்றார். 

இன்றைக்குத்தான்  இந்த ஆவிக்குரிய மேலான கருத்து பின்தள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளது என்று நாம் எண்ணுகிற்றோம். ஆனால் இன்றல்ல, அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் காலத்திலேயே தவறான பூமிக்குரிய ஆசீர்வாத உபதேசங்கள் கிறிஸ்தவத்தில் நுழைந்து கிறிஸ்து கூறிய ஆவிக்குரிய சிந்தை  புறம்பே தள்ளப்படும் நிலை ஏற்பட்டுவிட்டது. அப்படி உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களையே போதிப்பவர்கள் கிறிஸ்துவின் சிலுவைக்குப் பகைஞர்கள் என்கின்றார் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர். 

"ஏனெனில், அநேகர் வேறுவிதமாய் நடக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் கிறிஸ்துவின் சிலுவைக்குப் பகைஞரென்று உங்களுக்கு அநேகந்தரம் சொன்னேன், இப்பொழுது கண்ணீரோடும் சொல்லுகிறேன். அவர்களுடைய முடிவு அழிவு, அவர்களுடைய தேவன் வயிறு, அவர்களுடைய மகிமை அவர்களுடைய இலச்சையே, அவர்கள் பூமிக்கடுத்தவைகளைச் சிந்திக்கிறார்கள்." ( பிலிப்பியர் 3 : 18,19 )

ஆம், இத்தகைய உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்காக கிறிஸ்துவைத் தேடுபவர்களும் போதிப்பவர்களும் முடிவில் அழிவையே அடைவார்கள் என்கின்றார். காரணம் அவர்களது தேவன் வயிறு. அவர்களுக்கு உலகத் தேவையான வயிறு நிரப்பவேண்டும். எனவே அவர்கள் பூமிக்கடுத்தைவைகள் பற்றியே சிந்திக்கின்றார்கள்.  

தேவன் அழைத்த பரம அழைப்பின் பந்தயப் பொருளை அடைந்திட விரும்புகின்றவர்கள் தான் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் தேறினவர்கள். எனவேதான் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் அவர் கூறுகின்றார், "நம்மில் தேறினவர்கள் யாவரும் இந்தச் சிந்தையாயிருக்கக்கடவோம்." என்று. நாம் தேறினவர்களா, நம்மை வழிநடத்தும் போதகர்களும் நற்செய்தி அறிவிக்கின்றோம் என்று கூறி கூட்டங்கள் நடத்தி பிரசங்கிக்கும் ஊழியர்களும் தேறினவர்களா என்பதை அவர்கள் போதிக்கும் போதனையே அடையாளம் காட்டும். 

அன்பானவர்களே, "கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் தேவன் அழைத்த பரம அழைப்பின் பந்தயப்பொருளுக்காக இலக்கை நோக்கி நமது ஆவிக்குரிய பயணத்தைக் தொடர்வோம்.  வயிறான உலகத் தேவைகளை நிரப்ப மட்டுமே  முயற்சியெடுத்து நாம் அழிவை அடைந்திடக்கூடாது.

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded:" (Philippians 3: 14, 15)

We read in his letter to the Corinthians that the apostle Paul compares the course of the spiritual life to a race. There he says,

"Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain." (1 Corinthians 9: 24)

He says the same in today's meditation verse. Every race has a goal. Success is achieving the goal. The goal of the Christian life is eternal life. The apostle Paul, who says that he is going towards that goal and says, "Let all of us who are chosen be of this mind." He invites all of us to lead a life like him in today's meditation.

Not only that, "Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample." (Philippians 3: 17) He says that we should follow his example.

We think it is only today that this spiritual overarching concept has been preached. It is not now, but as early as the time of the apostle Paul, false earthly blessing doctrines entered Christianity and pushed away the spiritual thought that Christ spoke. Apostle Paul says that those who teach worldly blessings are enemies of the cross of Christ.

"For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things." (Philippians 3: 18,19)

Yes, those who seek and teach Christ for such worldly blessings will ultimately perish. The reason is their god is their stomach. They need to fill their bellies with the world's needs. So, they think only of earthly things.

Those who want to reach the race prize of God's calling are the chosen ones in the spiritual life. That is why he says in today's meditation verse, “Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded:" Whether we are successful and whether the pastors who lead us and the Christian ministers who hold meetings and preach the gospel are right will be decided by considering this.

Beloved, let us continue our spiritual journey toward the goal of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us not perish by trying only to fill the needs of our belly, that is filling our worldly needs.
