🦋 Meditation verse - எபேசியர் 4: 24 / Ephesians 4:24

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1804                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 15.01.2026 வியாழன்       

"மெய்யான நீதியிலும் பரிசுத்தத்திலும் தேவனுடைய சாயலாக சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்ட புதிய மனுஷனைத் தரித்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்." ( எபேசியர் 4: 24)

நம்முடைய தேவன் பரிசுத்தர். அந்தப் பரிசுத்தர் தன்னைப்போலவே தான் படைத்த மனிதர்களும் மாறவேண்டுமென்று விரும்புகின்றார். இந்த உலகத்தில்கூட நல்ல பதவியில் இருக்கும் தாய்தகப்பன்மார் தங்கள் பிள்ளைகள் தங்களைப்போல உயர்பதவி அடையவேண்டுமென்று விரும்புவதில்லையா? அதுபோலவே தேவனும் விரும்புகின்றார். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில், "தேவனுடைய சாயலாக சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்ட புதிய மனுஷனைத் தரித்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்." என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. காரணம், நாம் தேவ சாயலாக உருவாக்கப்பட்டவர்கள். ஆனால் உலக வாழ்க்கையில் பாவத்தில் விழுந்து நாம் தேவ சாயலை இழந்துவிட்டோம். ஆம், நமக்குள்ளிருக்கும் நமது பழைய மனிதன் தேவ சாயலை இழந்தவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.  

"தேவன் தம்முடைய சாயலாக மனுஷனைச் சிருஷ்டித்தார், அவனைத் தேவசாயலாகவே சிருஷ்டித்தார்; ஆணும் பெண்ணுமாக அவர்களைச் சிருஷ்டித்தார்." ( ஆதியாகமம் 1: 27)  என்று வேதாகமத்தில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதாவது, மனிதர்களை தேவன் தனது உருவத்திலும் தனது குணத்திலும் உண்டாக்கினார். ஆம், "தேவன்: நமது சாயலாகவும் நமது ரூபத்தின்படியேயும் மனுஷனை உண்டாக்குவோமாக" ( ஆதியாகமம் 1: 26) என்று தனக்குள் கூறி மனிதனை உண்டாக்கினார்.

ஆனால், மனிதனுக்குள் இருக்கும் இச்சை எனும் பாவம்தான் மனிதர்களை பாவத்துக்கு நேராக இழுத்து தேவ சாயலை இழக்கச் செய்கின்றது. எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "அந்தப்படி, முந்தின நடக்கைக்குரிய மோசம்போக்கும் இச்சைகளாலே கெட்டுப்போகிற பழைய மனுஷனை நீங்கள் களைந்துபோட்டு, உங்கள் உள்ளத்திலே புதிதான ஆவியுள்ளவர்களாகி......" ( எபேசியர் 4: 22, 23) என்று கூறுகின்றார். அதாவது, இச்சை எனும் பாவத்தால் கெட்டுப்போன பழைய மனிதனை விட்டுவிட்டு உள்ளத்தில் புதிய ஆவியுள்ள புதிய மனிதனாக நாம் மாறிடவேண்டும். 

மேலும், "மெய்யான நீதியிலும் பரிசுத்தத்திலும்" என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. அப்படியானால் பொய்யான நீதியும் உலகினில் இருக்கின்றது என்று பொருள். அது மனிதர்கள் கூறும் நீதி. மனிதர்களது நீதிகள்  அழுக்கான கந்தை போன்றவை. "நாங்கள் அனைவரும் தீட்டானவர்கள்போல இருக்கிறோம்; எங்களுடைய நீதிகளெல்லாம் அழுக்கான கந்தைபோல இருக்கிறது, நாங்கள் அனைவரும் இலைகளைப்போல் உதிருகிறோம்; எங்கள் அக்கிரமங்கள் காற்றைப்போல் எங்களை அடித்துக்கொண்டுபோகிறது." (ஏசாயா 64:6) என்று நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் தேவ நீதியின்படி நடக்கவே அழைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம். உலக நீதிநூல்கள் கூறும் நீதிகள் நல்லவைதான். ஆனால், ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை விசுவாசிக்கும்போது உண்டாகும் தேவ நீதியே நம்மை தேவனுக்குமுன் மேன்மையடையச்செய்யும். ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவால் நமது பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட்டு புதுபிறப்பாக நாம் மாறும்போது மட்டுமே நாம் தேவ நீதியைக் கன்டுகொள்ளமுடியும்.  

அழுக்கான கந்தைபோல இருக்கும் பொய்யான மனித நீதியைவிட்டு மெய்யான நீதியிலும் பரிசுத்தத்திலும் தேவனுடைய சாயலாக சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்ட புதிய மனுஷனைத் தரித்துக்கொள்ள இன்றைய தியான வசனம் அழைக்கின்றது. மெய்யான நீதியின்படி வாழ்ந்திட, முதல்படியாக ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு நம்மை முற்றிலும் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து ஜெபிப்போம். அவரது தேவ ஆவியானவர் நம்மில் வரும்போது அந்த பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரே நம்மை மெய்யான தேவ நீதியில் நடத்திடமுடியும்.

“Within the Seeds” 🌳

📖 Bible Meditation No. 1804
🔆 AATHAVAN – Thursday, 15.01.2026

“Put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.” (Ephesians 4:24)

Our God is holy. That holy God desires the people He created to become holy like Himself. Even in this world, do not parents who hold good positions desire that their children should also rise to high positions like them? In the same way, God desires us to become like Him.

In today’s meditation verse we read, “Put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created…” The reason is clear: we were created in the image of God. However, through our worldly life and our fall into sin, we have lost that divine image. Yes, the “old self” within us has lost the likeness of God.

The Bible declares:

“God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” (Genesis 1:27)

That is, God created human beings in His own image and character. Indeed, God said,

“Let Us make mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness.” (Genesis 1:26)

But the sin of desire (lust) within human beings drags them toward sin and causes them to lose the image of God. That is why the Apostle Paul says:

“That, in reference to your former way of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your minds.” (Ephesians 4:22–23)

In other words, we must put away the old self that has been corrupted by sinful desires and become a new person with a renewed spirit within.

Furthermore, today’s meditation verse speaks of “righteousness and holiness of the truth.” This implies that there is also a false righteousness in the world. That is the righteousness defined by human beings. Human righteousness is like filthy rags. As we read:

“For all of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; and all of us wither like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, carry us away.” (Isaiah 64:6)

Yes, beloved, we are called to walk according to God’s righteousness. The justice spoken of by the laws of the world may be good, but it is only the righteousness of God that comes through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that makes us acceptable before God. Only when our sins are forgiven through Jesus Christ and we are transformed by the new birth can we truly experience God’s righteousness.

Today’s meditation calls us to put off false human righteousness—which is like filthy rags—and to put on the new self, created in the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. In order to live according to true righteousness, let us first surrender ourselves completely to the Lord Jesus Christ in prayer. When His divine Spirit comes to dwell within us, the Holy Spirit Himself will lead us in the true righteousness of God.

🦋 Meditation verse - யாக்கோபு 4: 10 / James 4:10

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1803                                  🔆 ஆதவன் 14.01.2026 புதன்       

"கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாகத் தாழ்மைப்படுங்கள், அப்பொழுது அவர் உங்களை உயர்த்துவார்." ( யாக்கோபு 4: 10)

கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாகத் தாழ்மைப்படுதல் என்பதைப் பலரும் அவரது ஆலயத்தில் தாழ்மையுடன் நடந்துகொள்வதை மட்டுமே குறிப்பதாக எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். ஆலயங்களைக்  கடந்து செல்லும்போது வணங்குவது, ஆலயங்களில் முகங்குப்புற விழுந்து வணங்குவது, ஆலய வளாகத்தினுள் தாழ்மையுடன் பேசுவது இவைகளையே கர்த்தருக்குமுன்பாகத் தாழ்மைப்படுத்தல் என்று எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். 

சாதாரண விசுவாசிகள் மட்டுமல்ல, பல கிறிஸ்தவ ஊழியர்களும் குருக்களும் இப்படியே இருக்கின்றனர். ஆலயத்தில் தாழ்மையைக்குறித்து அழகாகப்  பிரசங்கம் செய்வார்கள், தாழ்மையுள்ளவர்கள்போல நடிப்பார்கள். ஆனால், தனிப்பட்டமுறையில் அவர்களை நாம் அணுகும்போது  அரசாங்க அதிகாரிகள்போல நடந்துகொள்வார்கள். குருக்கள், ஆயர்கள் எனும் பொறுப்புக்கள் மந்திரிப்பதவி போன்றதல்ல, அது தேவனுக்குப் பணிசெய்ய தேவன் தந்துள்ள வாய்ப்பு என்பதனை இவர்கள் மறந்துபோயினர்.

இதற்குக் காரணம் பலரும் கர்த்தர் தங்களை உயர்த்துவதற்குப் பொறுமையாகக் காத்திருப்பதில்லை. தங்களைத் தாங்களே உயர்த்திக்கொள்ள விரும்பிச் செயல்படுகின்றனர். எனவேதான் அவர்கள் தாழ்மை எனும் குணத்தை இழந்தவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர்.  

கர்த்தர் ஆலயத்தில் மட்டும் இருக்கவில்லை; அவர் எங்கும் நிறைந்துள்ளார். எனவே, எல்லா இடத்திலும், எல்லோரிடமும்  மனத்தாழ்மையுடன் நடந்துகொள்வதுதான் கர்த்தருக்குமுன் தாழ்மைப்படுத்தல் என்பதன் பொருள். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, பெருமையுள்ளவர்களுக்குத்  தேவன் எதிர்த்து நிற்கிறார், தாழ்மையுள்ளவர்களிடம்தான் கிருபையாக இருக்கின்றார்.  

"அந்தப்படி, இளைஞரே, மூப்பருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியுங்கள். நீங்களெல்லாரும் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் கீழ்ப்படிந்து, மனத்தாழ்மையை அணிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்; பெருமையுள்ளவர்களுக்கு தேவன் எதிர்த்து நிற்கிறார், தாழ்மையுள்ளவர்களுக்கோ கிருபை அளிக்கிறார்." (1 பேதுரு 5:5) என்று அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு கூறவில்லையா? ஓடுகின்ற நீர் தாழ்ந்த இடங்களைத்தேடித்தான் பாய்ந்துசெல்லும். அதுபோல உள்ளத்தில் தாழ்ந்த குணமுள்ளவர்களிடம்தான் தேவ கிருபை பாய்ந்து வரும். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறும் சத்தியத்தை அன்னை மரியாள் நன்கு உணர்ந்திருந்தால் "தம்முடைய புயத்தினாலே பராக்கிரமஞ்செய்தார்; இருதய சிந்தையில் அகந்தையுள்ளவர்களைச் சிதறடித்தார். பலவான்களை ஆசனங்களிலிருந்து தள்ளி, தாழ்மையானவர்களை உயர்த்தினார்." ( லுூக்கா 1: 51, 52) என்று கூறுகின்றார்.

ஆதியில் அழகிய தேவதூதனாக விளங்கிய லூசிபர் அவனது அகந்தையினால் சாத்தானாக மாறினான். "அதிகாலையின் மகனாகிய விடிவெள்ளியே, நீ வானத்திலிருந்து விழுந்தாயே! ஜாதிகளை ஈனப்படுத்தினவனே, நீ தரையிலே விழ வெட்டப்பட்டாயே! நான் வானத்துக்கு ஏறுவேன், தேவனுடைய நட்சத்திரங்களுக்குமேலாக என் சிங்காசனத்தை உயர்த்துவேன்; வடபுறங்களிலுள்ள ஆராதனைக் கூட்டத்தின் பர்வதத்திலே வீற்றிருப்பேன் என்றும், நான் மேகங்களுக்கு மேலாக உன்னதங்களில் ஏறுவேன்; உன்னதமானவருக்கு ஒப்பாவேன் என்றும் நீ உன் இருதயத்தில் சொன்னாயே. ஆனாலும் நீ அகாதமான பாதாளத்திலே தள்ளுண்டுபோனாய்." (ஏசாயா 14:12-15) 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் தாழ்மையாக இருக்கும்போதுதான் தேவன் நம்மை உயத்தமுடியும். "நான்" எனும் அகந்தைகொண்டு வாழ்வோமானால் அதுவே சாத்தான் விழுந்ததுபோல நமது அழிவுக்கான வித்தாக அமையும்.  "அழிவுக்கு  முன்னானது  அகந்தை;  விழுதலுக்கு  முன்னானது  மனமேட்டிமை".  (நீதிமொழிகள் 16;18) எனவே, மனத்தாழ்மையைத் தரித்துக்கொண்டு தேவனது ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வோம்.

🔆 AATHAVAN – Wednesday, 14.01.2026

“Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.” (James 4:10)

Many people think that humbling themselves before the Lord refers only to behaving reverently inside His temple. Bowing while passing by churches, falling prostrate in worship inside the sanctuary, or speaking softly within church premises—these alone are often considered as humility before God.

Not only ordinary believers, but even many Christian ministers and clergy fall into this pattern. They preach beautifully about humility from the pulpit and even act humble within the church. But when we approach them personally, they sometimes behave like government officials. Roles such as priests or bishops are not positions of political power and failed to recognize; they are opportunities given by God to serve Him.

The reason for this is that many are unwilling to wait patiently for the Lord to exalt them. Instead, they try to exalt themselves. As a result, they lose the virtue of humility.

The Lord is not present only in the temple; He is omnipresent. Therefore, walking in humility everywhere and toward everyone is the true meaning of humbling ourselves before the Lord. Yes, beloved, God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

Did not the apostle Peter say:

“You younger men, likewise, be subject to your elders; and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” (1 Peter 5:5)

Flowing water always seeks the low places. In the same way, God’s grace flows toward those whose hearts are humble.

Mary, the mother of our Lord, understood well the truth declared in today’s meditation verse. Therefore, she proclaimed:

“He has done mighty deeds with His arm; He has scattered those who were proud in the thoughts of their heart. He has brought down rulers from their thrones, and has exalted those who were humble.” (Luke 1:51–52)

Lucifer, who was originally a glorious angel, became Satan because of his pride:

“How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations! But you said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ Nevertheless, you will be thrust down to Sheol, To the recesses of the pit.” (Isaiah 14:12–15)

Yes, beloved, only when we walk in humility can God exalt us. If we live with the pride of “I,” it will become the seed of our destruction, just as it led to Satan’s fall.

“Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before stumbling.” (Proverbs 16:18)

Therefore, let us clothe ourselves with humility and receive the blessings of God.

🦋 Meditation verse - லுூக்கா 4: 32 / Luke 4:32

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1802                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 13.01.2026 செவ்வாய்      

"அவருடைய வசனம் அதிகாரமுள்ளதாயிருந்தபடியால் அவருடைய போதகத்தைக்குறித்து அவர்கள் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டார்கள்." ( லுூக்கா 4: 32)

தன்னிடம் அதிகாரம் உள்ளவர்தான் அதிகாரத்தோடு பேசமுடியும். ஒரு ராஜாவுக்குள்ள அதிகாரம் சாதாரண குடிமக்களுக்கு இல்லை. எனவே, சாதாரண குடிமகன் கூறும் வார்த்தைகளுக்கு எந்த அதிகாரியும் கீழ்ப்படிவதில்லை. மட்டுமல்ல, தன்னிடம் எந்த அதிகாரமும் இல்லாதவன் மற்றவர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிடுவது கேலிக்குரியதாக மாறிவிடும். 

நம் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து மனிதனாக பூமியில் வந்திருந்தாலும் அவர் மெய்யான தேவ குமாரனாக இருக்கின்றார். எனவே அவரது போதனை அதிகாரமுள்ளதாக இருந்தது. இதனை அவரது போதனைகளைப் பார்க்கும்போது நாமே உணர்ந்துகொள்ளலாம். பழைய ஏற்பாட்டுக் கட்டளைகள் பொதுவாக, "செய்யாதிருப்பாயாக" என்று ஆலோசனை போலக்  கூறும். ஆனால் நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, திட்டவட்டமாக, "பூர்வத்தாருக்கு இப்படிக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது ஆனால்  "நான்" உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்" என்று உறுதியாக கூறுவதை நாம் பார்க்கலாம். 

மேலும் சில உதாரணங்களாக பின்வரும் இந்த வசனங்கள் அவர் அதிகாரமுள்ளவர் என்பதனை உறுதிப்படுத்தும்.  "தன் சகோதரனை நியாயமில்லாமல் கோபித்துக்கொள்பவன் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புக்கு ஏதுவாயிருப்பான்" (மத்தேயு 5:22) "உன் சகோதரனோடே ஒப்புரவாகி, பின்பு வந்து உன் காணிக்கையைச் செலுத்து" (மத்தேயு 5:24) என்று உறுதியாகக் கட்டளையாகக் கூறுவதை நாம் பார்க்கலாம். 

அசுத்த ஆவிகளையும் அவர் இப்படியே அதிகாரத்தோடு துரத்தினார். அவர் இப்படிப் பேசியதால், "எல்லாரும் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு: இது என்ன வார்த்தையோ! அதிகாரத்தோடும் வல்லமையோடும் அசுத்த ஆவிகளுக்கும் கட்டளையிடுகிறார், அவைகள் புறப்பட்டுப் போகிறதே என்று ஒருவரோடொருவர் பேசிக்கொண்டார்கள்." ( லுூக்கா 4: 36) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் வார்த்தைகளில் அதிகாரம் உள்ளது. அவர் கூறுவது கூறுவதன்படியே ஆகும். இதனை அவரிடம் தனது வேலைக்காரனுக்காக சுகம் வேண்டி வந்த நூற்றுக்கு அதிபதி ஒருவன் நன்றாக அறிந்திருந்தான். எனவேதான் அவன் கூறினான், "ஆண்டவரே! நீர் என் வீட்டுக்குள் பிரவேசிக்க நான் பாத்திரன் அல்ல; ஒரு வார்த்தைமாத்திரம் சொல்லும்; அப்பொழுது என் வேலைக்காரன் சொஸ்தமாவான்." ( மத்தேயு 8: 8) என்று.

இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் வார்த்தைகளில் அதிகாரம் இருக்கக் காரணம் அவர் பேசிய வார்த்தைகள் பிதாவாகிய தேவனின் வார்த்தைகள். அவர் பேசச்சொன்னதையே அவர் பேசினார். எனவே அவரது வார்த்தைகளில் அதிகாரம் இருந்தது. ஆம்,  "நான் சுயமாய்ப் பேசவில்லை, நான் பேசவேண்டியது இன்னதென்றும் உபதேசிக்கவேண்டியது இன்னதென்றும் என்னை அனுப்பின பிதாவே எனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார். அவருடைய கட்டளை நித்திய ஜீவனாயிருக்கிறதென்று அறிவேன்; ஆகையால் நான் பேசுகிறவைகளைப் பிதா எனக்குச் சொன்னபடியே பேசுகிறேன்" (யோவான் 12:49, 50) என்றும் அவர் கூறவில்லையா? 

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, அதிகாரமுள்ள இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் வார்த்தைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடுப்போம். அவரது வார்த்தைகளுக்காகக் காத்திருப்போம். அந்த ஜீவனுள்ள வார்த்தைகளே நம்மை வாழவைக்கும். நூற்றுக்கு அதிபதி வேண்டியதுபோல, "ஆண்டவரே, ஒரு வார்த்தைமாத்திரம் சொல்லும்" என்று வேண்டுதல் செய்வோம்.

🔆 AATHAVAN – Tuesday, 13.01.2026

“And they were amazed at His teaching, for His message was with authority.” (Luke 4:32)

Only one who truly possesses authority can speak with authority. A king holds authority that ordinary citizens do not possess; therefore, no official will submit to the words spoken by a common citizen. Moreover, when someone who has no authority at all attempts to command others, it becomes an object of ridicule.

Though our Lord Jesus Christ came to this earth in human form, He is the true Son of God. Therefore, His teaching was marked by divine authority. We ourselves can clearly perceive this when we observe His teachings. The commandments of the Old Testament generally sound like counsel, often phrased as, “You shall not….” But our Lord Jesus Christ speaks with absolute certainty, saying, “You have heard that the ancients were told… but I say to you.” In this, His unique authority is unmistakably revealed.

Several passages further confirm His authority. He declares with command and conviction:

“But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court.” (Matthew 5:22) And again, “First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering.” (Matthew 5:24)

In the same manner, He drove out unclean spirits with authority. Because He spoke so, we read:

“And amazement came upon them all, and they began talking with one another, saying, ‘What is this message? For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits and they come out.’” (Luke 4:36)

Yes, beloved, there is authority in the words of Jesus Christ. What He speaks comes to pass exactly as He says. The centurion who came seeking healing for his servant understood this truth very well. That is why he said:

“Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed.” (Matthew 8:8)

The reason there is authority in the words of Jesus Christ is that the words He spoke were the words of God the Father. He spoke only what the Father commanded Him to speak. Therefore, His words carried divine authority. Did He not say:

“I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak. I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore, the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.” (John 12:49–50)

Therefore, beloved, let us listen attentively to the authoritative words of Jesus Christ. Let us wait upon His words. Those living words alone will sustain and give us life. Like the centurion, let us pray earnestly, saying, “Lord, just say the word.”

🦋 Meditation verse - யோவான் 7: 24 / John 7:24

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1801                                  🔆 ஆதவன் 12.01.2026 திங்கள்       

"தோற்றத்தின்படி தீர்ப்புச்செய்யாமல், நீதியின்படி தீர்ப்புச்செய்யுங்கள்." ( யோவான் 7: 24)

இந்த உலகத்து நீதிபதிகளின் தீர்ப்புக்கும் தேவனுடைய தீர்ப்பிடுதலுக்கும் மிகுந்த வித்தியாசம்  உள்ளது. உலக நீதிமன்றங்கள் மனிதர்களின் சாட்சிகளின் அடிப்படையில் நீதிவழங்குகின்றன. மட்டுமல்ல, பொய் சாட்சிகள், மற்றும் பலவேளைகளில் பணத்தின் ஆதிக்கம் இவற்றின் அடிப்படையில் உலக நீதிமன்றங்களின் தீர்ப்புகளும் அநியாய தீர்ப்புக்களாக பலவேளைகளில் மாறிவிடுகின்றன. 

ஆனால் தேவனை யாரும் பணத்தாலும் பொய் சாட்சியாலும் ஏமாற்ற முடியாது. "மனுஷருள்ளத்திலிருப்பதை அவர் அறிந்திருந்தபடியால், மனுஷரைக் குறித்து ஒருவரும் அவருக்குச் சாட்சி கொடுக்க வேண்டியதாயிருக்கவில்லை." (யோவான் 2:25) என்று நாம்  வாசிக்கின்றோம். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது உள்ளத்திலிருப்பதை அவர் அறிவார். நமது வாயில் சொல் பிறக்குமுன்பே அதனை அவர் அறிவார். 

இந்த உலகத்தில் அன்றாட வாழ்வில் நாம் மற்றவர்களைக்குறித்து எளிதில் தீர்ப்பிட்டுவிடுகின்றோம். உண்மையான நிலைமை நமக்குத் தெரியாது. நமது நண்பர்கள், உறவினர்கள் இவர்களைக்குறித்து நாம் பலவேளைகளில் எண்ணிக்கொள்வது தவறான கணிப்பாகவே இருக்கும். எனவேதான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "தோற்றத்தின்படி தீர்ப்புச்செய்யாமல், நீதியின்படி தீர்ப்புச்செய்யுங்கள்." என்று கூறுகின்றார். யூதர்கள் அன்று இயேசுவைக் குறித்தும்  இப்படித்தான் தவறாகத்  தீர்ப்பிட்டனர். 

தேவன் தீர்ப்பிடுவது கண் கண்டபடி அல்ல, மாறாக நீதியின் அடிப்படையில்தான். சில காரியங்கள் மனிதர்களது கண்பார்வைக்குத் தவறுபோலத் தெரிந்தாலும் தேவனது பார்வையில் நீகியுள்ளதாக இருக்கும். எனவே, நாம் மற்றவர்களைத் தவறாகத் தீர்ப்பிடும்போது தேவனுக்கு எதிரான பாவத்தைச் செய்தவர்களாக மாறிவிடுகின்றோம். எனவேதான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறினார், "நீங்கள் குற்றவாளிகளென்று தீர்க்கப்படாதபடிக்கு மற்றவர்களைக் குற்றவாளிகளென்று தீர்க்காதிருங்கள்." ( மத்தேயு 7: 1) என்று.

மேலும், உலக பார்வையில் நீதிமான்களாக உலாவரும் பலர் தேவனுக்குமுன் துன்மார்க்கர்களாகவும், உலகம் பாவிகள் என்று கருதும் பலர் தேவனது பார்வையில் இரக்கம் பெற்றவர்களாகவும் இருக்கின்றனர். காரணம், தேவன் ஒருவரே மனிதர்களின் மனதின் ஆழத்தை அறிந்தவர். அவர் ஒரு செயலை மட்டும் கருத்தில்கொண்டு மனிதர்களுக்குத் தீர்ப்பு வழங்குவதில்லை. அந்தச் செயல் செய்யப்பட்டதன் நோக்கத்தையும் பார்க்கின்றார். அதாவது, அவர் எதார்த்தத்தின் அடிப்படையில் தீர்ப்பு வழங்குகின்றார். ( ஏசாயா 11: 4)

அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் எனவேதான் நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றார், "ஆனதால், கர்த்தர் வருமளவும் நீங்கள்  காலத்துக்குமுன்னே  யாதொன்றைக்குறித்தும் தீர்ப்புச்சொல்லாதிருங்கள்; இருளில் மறைந்திருக்கிறவைகளை அவர் வெளியரங்கமாக்கி, இருதயங்களின் யோசனைகளையும் வெளிப்படுத்துவார்; அப்பொழுது அவனவனுக்குரிய புகழ்ச்சி தேவனால் உண்டாகும்." (1 கொரிந்தியர் 4:5) எனவே, மற்றவர்களை தீர்ப்பிடாமல் வாழ்வோம்.

🔆 AATHAVAN – Monday, 12.01.2026

“Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.” (John 7:24)

There is a great difference between the judgments of worldly judges and the judgment of God. Earthly courts deliver verdicts based on human testimonies. Not only that—false witnesses and, many times, the influence of money cause the judgments of worldly courts to turn into unjust decisions.

But God cannot be deceived by money or false testimony. We read, “Because He knew what was in man, and because He did not need anyone to testify concerning man; for He Himself knew what was in man.” (John 2:25) Yes, beloved, He knows what is within our hearts. Even before a word is formed on our tongues, He knows it.

In our day-to-day life in this world, we are quick to judge others. We do not truly know the real situation. Very often, our assumptions about our friends and relatives turn out to be incorrect. That is why Jesus Christ said, “Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.” The Jews of His time also judged Jesus wrongly in this very manner.

God does not judge by what the eye sees, but according to righteousness. Though certain things may appear wrong to human eyes, they may be found right in God’s sight. Therefore, when we judge others wrongly, we become guilty of sin against God. That is why Jesus said, “Do not judge, so that you will not be judged.” (Matthew 7:1)

Moreover, many who appear righteous in the eyes of the world are wicked before God, while many whom the world considers sinners are recipients of God’s mercy. The reason is this: God alone knows the depths of the human heart. He does not judge a person based solely on an action; He also looks at the intention behind the action. In other words, He judges based on truth and righteousness (cf. Isaiah 11:4).

Jesus said, “But even if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone in it, but I and the Father who sent Me.” (John 8:16) Because Jesus Christ lived in perfect unity with the Father, His judgment was righteous. Likewise, only when the Spirit of God dwells within us can we rightly discern others. Therefore, in every situation, let us choose to live without judging others or their actions.

That is why the Apostle Paul instructs us, “Therefore do not go on passing judgment before the time, but wait until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men’s hearts; and then each man’s praise will come to him from God.” (1 Corinthians 4:5) So then, let us live without judging others.

🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 17:10,11 / Isaiah 17:10–11

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1800                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 11.01.2026 ஞாயிறு      

"உன் பெலமாகிய கன்மலையை நீ நினையாமல், உன் இரட்சிப்பாகிய தேவனை மறந்தாய்; ஆதலால் நீ நேர்த்தியான நாற்றுகளை நட்டாலும், அந்நிய தேசத்துக் கன்றுகளை வைத்தாலும், பகற்காலத்திலே உன் நாற்றை வளரவும், விடியற்காலத்திலே உன் விதையை முளைக்கவும் பண்ணினாலும், பலனைச் சேர்க்கும் நாளிலே துக்கமும் கடும்வேதனையுமே உங்கள் அறுப்பாயிருக்கும்". (ஏசாயா 17:10,11)

தேவனால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களாகிய நாம் தேவனை நமது வாழ்வில் மறந்தவர்களாக வாழ்வோமானால் நமக்கு எந்த ஆசீவாதமும் கிடைப்பதில்லை என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தை அன்றாடம் நாம் காணும் உலக நடப்போடு ஒப்பிட்டுப்பார்த்தால் தவறாகவே தெரியும். காரணம், இன்று செழிப்பான வாழ்க்கை வாழ்பவர்கள் எல்லோரும் தேவனைத்  தேடுபவர்களும், அவரது சித்தப்படி வாழ்பவர்களுமல்ல. துன்மார்க்கமாய் வாழ்பவர்கள் மற்றவர்களை வஞ்சித்து வாழ்பவர்கள், ஏமாற்றுப்பேர்வழிகள் இவர்கள்தான் செழிப்பாக வாழ்கின்றனர். ஆம், துன்மார்க்கன் செழிப்பான் என்றுதான் வேதம் கூறுகின்றது. மட்டுமல்ல, அவர்கள் இருதயம் விரும்புவதைவிட அதிகமாக அவர்களுக்கு நல்லது நடக்கின்றது என்று கூறுகின்றது. 

"துன்மார்க்கரின் வாழ்வை நான் காண்கையில், வீம்புக்காரராகிய அவர்கள்மேல் பொறாமைகொண்டேன். மரணபரியந்தம் அவர்களுக்கு இடுக்கண்களில்லை; அவர்களுடைய பெலன் உறுதியாயிருக்கிறது. நரர் படும் வருத்தத்தில் அகப்படார்கள்; மனுஷர் அடையும் உபாதியை அடையார்கள். ஆகையால் பெருமை சரப்பணியைப்போல் அவர்களைச் சுற்றிக்கொள்ளும்; கொடுமை ஆடையைப்போல் அவர்களை மூடிக்கொள்ளும்.  அவர்கள் கண்கள் கொழுப்பினால் எடுப்பாய்ப் பார்க்கிறது; அவர்கள் இருதயம் விரும்புவதிலும் அதிகமாய் நடந்தேறுகிறது. (சங்கீதம் 73:3-7) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

எனவே, இன்றைய தியான வசனம் எல்லோருக்குமான பொது வசனமல்ல. மாறாக, தேவன் தெரிந்துகொண்ட ஆவிக்குரிய மக்களுக்கானது. தேவன் நம்மை உலகத்தைவிட்டுப் பிரித்தெடுத்து வேறு வழியில் நடத்த விரும்புகின்றார். எனவே, நாம் அவரது சித்தத்துக்கு எதிராக நடக்கும்போது நமக்கு அவர் வேதனைகளைத் தருகின்றார். அப்படி ஆவிக்குரிய மக்களாகிய நாம் உலக மக்களைப்பார்த்து அவர்களைப்போல நடப்போமானால் நமக்கு வேதனையும், துன்பமுமே தொடரும்.  

இதனையே, "உன் பெலமாகிய கன்மலையை நீ நினையாமல், உன் இரட்சிப்பாகிய தேவனை மறந்தாய்; நீ நேர்த்தியான நாற்றுகளை நட்டாலும், அந்நிய தேசத்துக் கன்றுகளை வைத்தாலும், பகற்காலத்திலே உன் நாற்றை வளரவும், விடியற்காலத்திலே உன் விதையை முளைக்கவும் பண்ணினாலும், பலனைச் சேர்க்கும் நாளிலே துக்கமும் கடும்வேதனையுமே உங்கள் அறுப்பாயிருக்கும்" என்று இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, ஒருவேளை நமது மனமானது துன்மார்க்க மக்களைப் பார்க்கும்போது அவர்களது செழிப்பான வாழ்க்கையினைக் கண்டு தடுமாற்றமடையலாம். "நான் மட்டும் நல்லவனாக வாழ்ந்து என்ன பயன்?" என எண்ணி தேவனது  வழியை விட்டு விலகலாம். ஆனால் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவனது வழியில் நடக்கும் நமக்கு மகிமையான எதிர்காலம் உண்டு  என்பதனை நாம் மறந்துவிடக்கூடாது.  

இதனை உணர்ந்ததால்தான் துன்மார்க்கன் செழிப்பான என்று கூறும்  சங்கீத ஆசிரியர் இறுதியில், "உம்முடைய ஆலோசனையின்படி நீர் என்னை நடத்தி, முடிவிலே என்னை மகிமையில் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வீர். பரலோகத்தில் உம்மையல்லாமல் எனக்கு யார் உண்டு? பூலோகத்தில் உம்மைத் தவிர எனக்கு வேறே விருப்பமில்லை." (சங்கீதம் 73:24,25) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

உலக செழிப்பின் பாதையில் நடந்து உலகினில் இன்பத்தையே அனுபவித்து இறுதியில் நரக படுகுழிக்குள் செல்வதைவிட, தேவனது ஆலோசனையின்படி நடந்து மகிமையில் அவரால் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படுவதே மேலானது. எனவே, துன்மார்க்கர்களது செழிப்பை நினைத்து மனம் தளர்ச்சியடையாமல், நமது பெலமாகிய கன்மலையையே நினைத்து நமது இரட்சிப்பாகிய தேவனை மறவாமலிருப்போம்.

“For you have forgotten the God of your salvation and have not remembered the rock of your refuge. Therefore, you plant delightful plants and set them with vine slips of a strange god. In the day that you plant it, you carefully fence it in, and in the morning, you bring your seed to blossom, but the harvest will be a heap in a day of sickliness and incurable pain.” (Isaiah 17:10–11)

Today’s meditation verse declares that if we, who have been chosen and known by God, live as people who forget Him in our lives, we will not experience true blessing.

At first glance, when we compare this verse with the realities we see in the world today, it may appear incorrect. The reason is that many people who live prosperous lives are not necessarily those who seek God or walk according to His will. Often, it is the wicked—those who live unjustly, deceive others, and exploit people—who seem to flourish. Yes, Scripture itself acknowledges that the wicked prosper. Not only that, it says that more than what their hearts desire comes to pass for them.

The psalmist writes:

“For I was envious of the arrogant as I saw the prosperity of the wicked. For there are no pains in their death, and their body is fat.
They are not in trouble as other men, nor are they plagued like mankind. Therefore, pride is their necklace; the garment of violence covers them. Their eye bulges from fatness; the imaginations of their heart run riot.” (Psalm 73:3–7)

Therefore, today’s meditation verse is not a general promise or warning meant for everyone. Rather, it is specifically addressed to God’s chosen, spiritually set-apart people. God desires to separate us from the ways of the world and lead us on a different path. Hence, when we walk contrary to His will, He allows pain and discipline in our lives. If we, as God’s spiritual people, begin to look at the people of the world and imitate their ways, then sorrow and suffering will follow us.

This is exactly what today’s verse emphasizes, “you have forgotten the God of your salvation and have not remembered the rock of your refuge. Therefore, you plant delightful plants and set them with vine slips of a strange god. In the day that you plant it, you carefully fence it in, and in the morning, you bring your seed to blossom, but the harvest will be a heap in a day of sickliness and incurable pain.”

Yes, beloved, when our hearts observe the wicked, we may at times stumble, seeing their prosperous lives. We may even think, “What is the benefit of living righteously?” and drift away from God’s path. But, dear ones, we must never forget that those who walk in the way of the Lord have a glorious future.

Because the psalmist understood this truth, the same writer who spoke about the prosperity of the wicked finally declares:

“With Your counsel You will guide me and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but You? and besides You, I desire nothing on earth.” (Psalm 73:24–25)

Rather than walking on the path of worldly prosperity, enjoying temporary pleasures, and finally falling into eternal destruction, it is far better to walk according to God’s counsel and be received by Him in glory. Therefore, let us not grow weary or discouraged by the prosperity of the wicked. Instead, let us remember the Rock of our strength and never forget the God of our salvation.

🦋 Meditation verse - மாற்கு 16: 11 / Mark 16:11

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1799                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 10.01.2026 சனி      

"அவர் உயிரோடிருக்கிறாரென்றும் அவளுக்குக் காணப்பட்டார் என்றும் அவர்கள் கேட்டபொழுது நம்பவில்லை." ( மாற்கு 16: 11)

சில காரியங்களை மனிதர்கள் நம்புவது கடினமான காரியமாகவே இருக்கின்றது. மீன் கருவாடாக மாறுவதை நாம் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளலாம்; நம்பலாம். ஆனால் காய்ந்த கருவாடு மீனாக மாறுவதை நம்ப முடியாது. நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் வாழ்க்கையில் இப்படியே நடைபெற்றது. உலகத்தில் இறந்துபோன யாரும் உயிருடன் எழுந்தது கிடையாது. எனவே அப்படி இறந்த ஒருவர் உயிருடன் எழுந்துவிட்டார் என்பதனை அவரோடுகூட இருந்தவர்கள்கூட  நம்பாததில் அதிசயமில்லை.

"வாரத்தின் முதலாம் நாள் அதிகாலையிலே இயேசு எழுந்திருந்தபின்பு, மகதலேனா மரியாளுக்கு முதல்முதல் தரிசனமானார்." (மாற்கு 16:9) அவள் உடனேயே அவருடன் இருந்தவர்களுக்கு அதனை அறிவித்தாள். அவர்கள் நம்பவில்லை என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். ஆனால் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து எந்தவித முன்னறிவிப்புமின்றி எழுந்துவிடவில்லை. தான் மரித்து மூன்றாம்நாள் உயிர்ந்தெழுவேன் என்று தான் உயிரோடிருக்கும்போதே சீடர்களுக்கு அறிவித்தார். மட்டுமல்ல, மிகப்பெரிய அதிசயமான செயல்களை அவர் உயிரோடிருக்கும்போதே செய்துக் காண்பித்தார். ஆனாலும் சீடர்கள் அவர் உயிர்த்ததை முதலில் நம்பவில்லை. 

ஆனால், சீடர்கள் அவிசுவாசத்தில் தொடர்ந்து இருக்கவில்லை. அவர்கள் அவர் உயிர்த்ததை பின்னர் நம்பினர். காரணம், அவர்கள் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் மெய்யான அன்புகொண்டு வாழ்ந்தவர்கள். கிறிஸ்துவின் அன்பை அவர் உலகினில் வாழ்ந்தபோது ருசித்தவர்கள். அவர் இறந்தபின்னரும் அவர் நினைவாகவே இருந்தவர்கள். இன்றும் இதே காரியம்தான் நடைபெற்றுக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றது. கிறிஸ்து உயிரோடிருப்பதை வாயால் அறிவித்தாலும் பல கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் முழுமையான விசுவாசமாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதில்லை. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இப்போதும் தங்கள் வாழ்வில் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துச் செயல்பட்டுக்கொண்டிருப்பதை அனுபவத்தால் கண்டுகொண்டவர்கள் கூறுவதைப் பலர் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதில்லை.  அன்றும் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து உயிர்தெழுந்தபின்னர் எல்லோருக்கும் காணப்படவில்லை. அப்போஸ்தலர்களுக்குத்தான் தரிசனமானார். "அவர் பாடுபட்டபின்பு, நாற்பது நாளளவும் அப்போஸ்தலருக்குத் தரிசனமாகி, தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்துக்குரியவைகளை அவர்களுடனே பேசி, அநேகம் தெளிவான திருஷ்டாந்தங்களினாலே அவர்களுக்குத் தம்மை உயிரோடிருக்கிறவராகக் காண்பித்தார்." (அப்போஸ்தலர் 1:3)

"ஆயினும் எல்லா ஜனங்களுக்கும் பிரத்தியட்சமாகும்படி செய்யாமல், அவர் மரித்தோரிலிருந்து எழுந்தபின்பு அவரோடே புசித்துக் குடித்தவர்களும் தேவனால் முன்பு நியமிக்கப்பட்ட சாட்சிகளுமாகிய எங்களுக்கே பிரத்தியட்சமாகும்படி செய்தார்.  (அப்போஸ்தலர் 10:41)  பேதுரு. 

ஆனால் அன்றைய யூதர்களில் பலரும் அப்போஸ்தலர்கள் கூறியதை விசுவாசித்தனர். ஆயிரக்கணக்கானப்பேர் விசுவாசித்து ஞானஸ்நானம் பெற்றுக்கொண்டனர். காரணம், அப்போஸ்தலர்கள் மூலம் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து பல தெளிவான திருஷ்டாந்தங்களினாலே தம்மை உயிரோடிருக்கிறவராக அவர்களுக்குக்  காண்பித்தார். எனவேதான் கிறிஸ்தவம் இத்தனை ஆயிரம் ஆண்டுகளாக நிலைத்து நிற்கின்றது. 

 

இன்றும் பலர்  இயேசு கிறிஸ்து உயிருள்ளவராக இருப்பதனை விசுவாசிப்பதில்லை. அவர் இன்றும் பேசுகின்றார், இன்றும் செயல்படுகின்றார், இரண்டாயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு மனிதர்களைக் குணமாக்கியதுபோல இன்றும் பலரை நோய்களிலிருந்து குணமாக்குகின்றார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே,  "இயேசுகிறிஸ்து  நேற்றும் இன்றும் என்றும் மாறாதவராயிருக்கிறார்." (எபிரெயர் 13:8) ஆனால், அதனை நம்மில் பலரும் கண்டு உணர முடியாமல் இருப்பதற்குக் காரணம், தங்களது வாழ்வில் அவரது ஐக்கியத்ததை நாடாமலும், விரும்பாமலும் இருப்பதுதான்.  

"கிறிஸ்து எழுந்திருக்கவில்லையென்றால், எங்கள் பிரசங்கமும் விருதா, உங்கள் விசுவாசமும் விருதா". (1 கொரிந்தியர் 15:14) என்று பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர் கூறுவதன்படி, கிறிஸ்துவின் உயிர்த்தெழுதலை விசுவாசிப்பது மட்டுமல்ல, அந்த உயிர்த்தெழுந்த அனுபவத்தை வாழ்வில் அனுபவிப்பதுதான் மெய்யான கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்வு. இல்லையானால் நமது கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்வும் விசுவாசமும் வீணாகவே இருக்கும்.

“When they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they refused to believe it.” (Mark 16:11)

There are certain things that human beings find very difficult to believe. We can accept and believe that a fish can dry up and become dried fish. But it is impossible for us to believe that a dried fish can become a living fish again. Something similar took place in the life of our Lord Jesus Christ. In this world, no one who has died has ever risen again. Therefore, it is not surprising that even those who had lived with Him found it hard to believe that a man who had died was now alive again.

“Now after He had risen early on the first day of the week, He first appeared to Mary Magdalene.” (Mark 16:9)

She immediately went and reported this to those who had been with Him. Yet, we read that they did not believe her. However, Jesus Christ did not rise from the dead without prior warning. While He was still alive, He clearly told His disciples that He would die and rise again on the third day. Not only that, He demonstrated many great and astonishing miracles while He was with them. Even so, the disciples initially did not believe in His resurrection.

Yet, the disciples did not remain in unbelief forever. Later, they came to believe that He had risen. The reason was that they were people who truly loved Jesus Christ. They had tasted the love of Christ while He lived in this world. Even after His death, they lived with His memory close to their hearts. The same situation continues even today. Although many Christians confess with their lips that Christ is alive, they do not fully accept it with complete faith.

Yes, beloved, even today many people do not accept the testimonies of those who speak from personal experience that Jesus Christ is actively working in their lives. In those days too, after His resurrection, Jesus did not appear to everyone. He appeared only to the apostles.

“To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God.”
(Acts 1:3)

“Not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen beforehand by God, that is, to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead.” (Acts 10:41)

Yet, many among the Jews of that time believed the words spoken by the apostles. Thousands believed and were baptized. The reason was that through the apostles, Jesus Christ revealed Himself as the living One by many convincing proofs. That is why Christianity has endured and stood firm for so many thousands of years.

Even today, many do not believe that Jesus Christ is truly alive. He still speaks today. He still works today. Just as He healed people two thousand years ago, He continues to heal many from sickness even now. Yes, beloved,

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)

The reason many of us are unable to see and experience this truth is because we do not seek or desire fellowship with Him in our daily lives.

“If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain, your faith also is vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:14)

As the apostle Paul declares, true Christian living is not only believing in the resurrection of Christ, but also experiencing the power of that risen life personally. Otherwise, our Christian life and our faith will be in vain.
