பூரண சமாதானம் / PERFECT PEACE

ஆதவன் 🔥 903🌻 ஜூலை 19, 2023 புதன்கிழமை

"உம்மை உறுதியாய்ப் பற்றிக்கொண்ட மனதையுடையவன் உம்மையே நம்பியிருக்கிறபடியால், நீர் அவனைப் பூரண சமாதானத்துடன் காத்துக்கொள்வீர்." ( ஏசாயா 26 : 3 )

இன்று பல மனிதர்களிடம் இல்லாத ஒன்று மன சமாதானம். பெரிய பதவிகளிலும் புகழின் உச்சத்திலும் இருக்கும் பலர் சமாதானமின்றி தற்கொலை செய்து மடிகின்றனர். இதனை நாம் பார்க்கும்போது மனசமாதானத்துக்கும் பதவி,  புகழ், செல்வம் இவற்றுக்கும் சம்பந்தமில்லை; இவை மனிதர்களுக்கு மன சமாதானத்தைக் கொடுப்பதில்லை என்பது தெளிவாகின்றது. 

நல்ல பதவியோ, செல்வமோ, புகழோ இல்லாத கோடிக்கணக்கான மனிதர்கள் உள்ளனர். எல்லோரும் தற்கொலை செய்வதில்லை. ஆனால் ஏதோ நம்பிக்கையில் வாழ்ந்துகொண்டிருக்கின்றனர். ஆனால் இவர்கள் எல்லோரும் பூரண சமாதானத்துடன் வாழ்கின்றார்கள் என்று கூறமுடியாது. தற்கொலை எனும் முடிவினை எடுக்காவிட்டாலும் பலரது வாழ்க்கை சமாதானமில்லாமலேயே  இருக்கின்றது.  

ஒரு மனிதனுக்குப்  பூரண சமாதானம் கார்த்தரைப் பற்றிக்கொள்வதாலேயே கிடைக்கின்றது. பூரண சமாதானம் என்பது உலகம் கொடுக்க இயலாத சமாதானம். இதனையே கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும் பின்வருமாறு  வாக்களித்தார்:-  "சமாதானத்தை உங்களுக்கு வைத்துப் போகிறேன், என்னுடைய சமாதானத்தையே உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கிறேன்; உலகம் கொடுக்கிறபிரகாரம் நான் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கிறதில்லை. உங்கள் இருதயம் கலங்காமலும் பயப்படாமலும் இருப்பதாக." (யோவான் 14:27)

இன்று பலரும் உலகம் கொடுக்கும் சமாதானத்தைத் தேடி மது, திரைப்படம், காளியாட்டுகளில் ஆர்வம்கொண்டு அலைந்து சமாதானம் பெற முயல்கின்றனர். இத்தகைய சிற்றின்ப காரியங்கள் முதலில் சமாதானம் தருவதுபோலத் தெரிந்தாலும் இறுதியில் பல்வேறு உடல் நோய்களையும் பிரச்சனைகளையுமே வாழ்வில் கொண்டுவந்து மேலும் அதிக சமாதானக் குறைவினை ஏற்படுத்தும்.

ஆனால் பூரண சமாதானம் கர்த்தரை உறுதியாகப் பற்றிக்கொள்ளும்போது நமக்குக் கிடைக்கிறது. இதனையே இன்றைய வசனத்தில் நாம்  "உம்மை உறுதியாய்ப் பற்றிக்கொண்ட மனதையுடையவன் உம்மையே நம்பியிருக்கிறபடியால், நீர் அவனைப் பூரண சமாதானத்துடன் காத்துக்கொள்வீர்" என வாசிக்கின்றோம். ஆம், நமது தேவன் நம்பிக்கைத் துரோகம் செய்பவரல்ல. நாம் அவரையே நம்பியிருக்கிறோம் என்பது அவருக்குத் தெரியுமாதலால் நம்மை அவர் கைவிடமாட்டார்; பூரண சமாதானத்துடன் காத்துக்கொள்வார்.

அன்பானவர்களே, சமாதானத்தின் ஊற்றாகிய கர்த்தரை விட்டு நாம் யாரைத்தேடி ஓடினாலும் நமக்குப் பூரண  சமாதானம் கிடைக்காது. இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுவதுபோல நாம் கர்த்தரை மட்டுமே  உறுதியாக நம்பியிருந்தால் பூரண சமாதானத்துடன் காத்துக்கொள்வார். எனவே, அவரையே பற்றிக்கொள்வோம்; உலகம் கொடுக்கமுடியாத சமாதானத்தைப் பெற்று மகிழ்வோம்.

                    PERFECT PEACE

" Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” (Isaiah 26:3)

One thing many people lack today is peace of mind. Many who are in great positions and at the height of fame kill themselves by suicide. When we see this, peace of mind has nothing to do with position, fame, and wealth; These do not give people peace of mind.

There are millions of people in the world who have no good position, wealth, or fame. Not everyone commits suicide. But they are living with some hope. But it cannot be said that all of them are living in complete peace. Even if they do not take the decision to commit suicide, many people's lives are without peace.

A man attains complete peace only by attaching him with Jesus. Perfect peace is the peace that the world cannot give. This is what the Lord Jesus Christ also promised as follows: - " Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” ( John 14 : 27 )

Today many people are looking for the peace offered by the world in alcohol, movies and lustful things and try to find peace. Such sensual pursuits may seem peaceful at first but eventually bring various physical ailments and problems into the life and cause further loss of peace.

But perfect peace comes when we hold fast to the Lord. This is what we read in today's verse as "" Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” Yes, our God is not unfaithful. He will not forsake us because He knows that we trust in Him; He will guard with perfect peace.

Beloved, no matter who we run to, apart from the Lord, the source of peace, we will not find complete peace. As today's verse says, if we only firmly believe in the Lord, He will protect us with complete peace. Let us, therefore, cling to him; Let us enjoy the peace that the world cannot give.

தேவனின் ஆவி / SPIRIT OF GOD

ஆதவன் 🔥 902🌻 ஜூலை 18, 2023 செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை

"நாங்களோ உலகத்தின் ஆவியைப் பெறாமல், தேவனால் எங்களுக்கு அருளப்பட்டவைகளை அறியும்படிக்கு தேவனிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிற ஆவியையே பெற்றோம்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 2 : 12 )

இன்றைய வசனத்தில் அப்போஸ்தலராகிய பவுல் அடிகள் இரண்டு ஆவிகளைக்குறித்துப் பேசுகின்றார்.  ஒன்று, உலக மனிதர்களிடமுள்ள ஆவி; இன்னொன்று தேவனிடமிருந்து புறப்பட்டு வருகின்ற ஆவி. இந்த உலகத்தில் அதன் செயல்பாடுகளை அறியவும் செயல்படவும் உலகத்தின் ஆவி போதும். ஆனால் தேவனிடமிருந்து வரும் ஆவியினைப் பெற்றால்தான் அவர் அருளும் ஈவுகளையும் அவரின் அன்பின் ஆழங்களையும் மேலான ஆவிக்குரிய சத்தியங்களையும்   நாம் அறிய முடியும். இதனையே, "தேவனால் எங்களுக்கு அருளப்பட்டவைகளை அறியும்படிக்கு தேவனிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிற ஆவியையே பெற்றோம்." என்கின்றார் பவுல் அடிகள். 

தொடர்ந்து வரும் வசனத்தில், "அவைகளை நாங்கள் மனுஷஞானம் போதிக்கிற வார்த்தைகளாலே பேசாமல், பரிசுத்த ஆவி போதிக்கிற வார்த்தைகளாலே பேசி, ஆவிக்குரியவைகளை ஆவிக்குரியவைகளோடே சம்பந்தப்படுத்திக்காண்பிக்கிறோம்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 2 : 13 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். அதாவது, மனிதர்கள், குறிப்பாகப் பேச்சாளர்கள், அரசியல்வாதிகள் பேசுவதுபோல நாங்கள் பேசாமல், பரிசுத்த ஆவி போதிக்கிற வார்த்தைகளாலே பேசுகின்றோம் என்கின்றார்; தேவனிடமிருந்து நாங்கள் பெற்றுக்கொண்ட அனுபவத்தில் பேசுகிறோம் என்று பொருள்.

அன்பானவர்களே, யார் வேண்டுமானாலும் கிறிஸ்துவின் செய்தியை அறிவிக்கலாம். ஆனால் அப்படி அறிவிக்க ஆவியானவரின் துணை வேண்டுமென்று இதனால் புரிகின்றது. இன்று பல போதகர்கள், குருக்களது பேச்சுக்கள் மனுஷஞானம் போதிக்கிற வார்த்தைகளாகவே இருக்கின்றன. ஆவிக்குரிய அனுபவமில்லாமல் கற்றறிந்த அறிவினைக்கொண்டு போதிப்பது மனித போதனையே. 

"சட்டியில் இருந்தால் அகப்பையியல் வரும்" என்று ஒரு தமிழ் பழமொழி உண்டு. அதாவது நம்மிடம் என்ன இருக்கின்றதோ அதைத்தான் நாம் மற்றவர்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கமுடியும். ஆனால், தேவன் நம்மில் செயல்படும்போது நமக்குத் தெரியாத சத்தியங்களையும், அதாவது நம்மிடம் இல்லாததையும்  நாம் ஆவியினால் அறிந்து போதிக்க முடியும். 

எனவே, நூறு சதவிகித உலக ஆசை செயல்பாடுகளை வாழ்வில் கைக்கொண்டு வாழும்  ஒருவர்  ஆலயத்தில் நின்று ஆவிக்குரிய செய்தியைக் கொடுக்கமுடியாது என்பது நிச்சயம்.  தேவனால் அருளப்பட்ட ஆவியினைப் பெற்று ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வு வாழ்வு ஒருவரே ஆவிக்குரிய செய்தியைக்கொடுத்து மற்றவர்களையும் ஆவிக்குரிய வழியில் நடத்த முடியும். நாம் நல்ல ஆவிக்குரிய போதகர்கள் நமக்குக் கிடைத்திட வேண்டுதல் செய்யவேண்டியது அவசியமாயிருக்கிறது. 

என்னை ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் ஆரம்ப நாட்களில் வழிநடத்திய காலம்சென்ற  பாஸ்டர் ஜான்சன் டேவிட் (ஐ.பி.சி சர்ச்) அதிகம் படிக்காதவர்தான்; இறையியல் கல்லூரியில் அவர் படித்ததில்லை. ஆனால் அவரைப்போன்ற போதகர்களை இத்தனை ஆண்டுகளிலும் நான் கண்டதில்லை. ஆலயத்தில் போதிக்க மட்டுமல்ல, அன்றாட வாழ்விலும் நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வு வாழ தேவனால்  அருளப்பட்டவைகளை அறியும்படி தேவனிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிற ஆவியைப் பெறவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கிறது. ஆனால், ஆவிக்குரிய வழக்கை என்ன என்பதை அறியாத மனிதர்களுக்கு இவை புரியாது; பைத்தியக்கார உளறல் போலவே இருக்கும்.  

ஆம் "ஜென்மசுபாவமான மனுஷனோ தேவனுடைய ஆவிக்குரியவைகளை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளான்; அவைகள் அவனுக்குப் பைத்தியமாகத் தோன்றும்; அவைகள் ஆவிக்கேற்றபிரகாரமாய் ஆராய்ந்து நிதானிக்கப்படுகிறவைகளானதால், அவைகளை அறியவுமாட்டான்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 2 : 14 )

                   SPIRIT OF GOD

"Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” ( 1 Corinthians 2 : 12 )

In today's verse, the Apostle Paul speaks about two spirits. One, the spirit in worldly men; Another is the Spirit proceeding from God. The spirit of the world is sufficient to know and act upon its functions in this world. But it is only when we receive the Spirit from God that we can know the graces of God, the depths of His love, and the spiritual truths above. This is what Paul is saying, "we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”

In the next verse he says, " Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual”. ( 1 Corinthians 2 : 13 ) That is, he says that we do not speak like human beings, especially worldly speakers and politicians, but we speak with the words that the Holy Spirit teaches; It means that we are speaking from the experience we have received from God.

Beloved, anyone can preach the message of Christ. But this means that the help of the Spirit is needed to declare such. Today, the speeches of many Gospel preachers and Rev. fathers are the words of human wisdom. Teaching with learned knowledge without spiritual experience is human teaching.

There is a Tamil proverb that says, "what is in a vessel, it will come in the spoon" That means we can give to others what we have. But when God works in us, we can know and teach truths that we do not know, that is, that which we do not have, by the Spirit.

Therefore, it is certain that a person who lives his life with 100% worldly desire activities cannot stand in a temple and give a spiritual message. Only one who receives the spirit given by God and lives spiritually can give spiritual messages and guide others in a spiritual way. We need to pray for getting such good spiritual teachers.

The late Pastor Johnson David (IPC Church) who guided me in spiritual life during my early days was not very educated; He never attended theological college. But I have never seen a preacher like him in all these years. Dear brethren, not only to teach in the church, but also to live a spiritual life, it is necessary to receive the spirit that comes from God so that we can know what God has given us. But these things are not understood by men who do not know what the spiritual case is; It is like a crazy rant.

Yes, " But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” ( 1 Corinthians 2 : 14 )

விசுவாசத்தினால் வருகிற நீதி / Righteousness by faith

ஆதவன் 🔥 901🌻 ஜூலை 17, 2023 திங்கள்கிழமை

"அன்றியும், உலகத்தைச் சுதந்தரிப்பான் என்கிற வாக்குத்தத்தம் ஆபிரகாமுக்காவது அவன் சந்ததிக்காவது நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தினால் கிடையாமல் விசுவாசத்தினால் வருகிற நீதியினால் கிடைத்தது." ( ரோமர் 4 : 13 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் "விசுவாசத்தினால் வருகிற நீதி" எனும் வார்த்தைகள் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளதைப் பார்க்கின்றோம். கட்டளைகளைக் கடைபிடிப்பதால் வரும் நீதியைவிட விசுவாசத்தினால் வருகின்ற நீதி மேலான நீதி. ஆம், தேவன்மேல் வைக்கும் விசுவாசத்தால்  மட்டுமே நாம் அத்தகைய நீதியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழமுடியும். 

நியாயப்பிரமாண கட்டளைகளைக் கடைபிடிப்பதால் நாம் நீதிமானாக முடியாது. இயேசு கிறிஸ்து பரிசேயர்களையும் வேதபாரகர்களையும் பார்த்துக் கூறினார், "மாயக்காரராகிய வேதபாரகரே! பரிசேயரே! உங்களுக்கு ஐயோ, நீங்கள் ஒற்தலாமிலும் வெந்தயத்திலும் சீரகத்திலும் தசமபாகம் செலுத்தி, நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தில் கற்பித்திருக்கிற விசேஷித்தவைகளாகிய நீதியையும் இரக்கத்தையும் விசுவாசத்தையும் விட்டுவிட்டீர்கள்"( மத்தேயு 23 : 23 )

நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தில் கற்பித்திருக்கிற விசேஷித்தவைகளாகிய நீதியையும் இரக்கத்தையும் விசுவாசத்தையும் விட்டுவிடாமலிருக்க வேண்டுமானால் நாம் தேவன்மேல் விசுவாசம்கொண்டவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

ஆபிரகாம் காலத்தில் நியாயப்பிராமணக்  கட்டளைகள் கொடுக்கப்படவில்லை.  அவரது காலத்துக்கு ஆயிரக்கணக்கான ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பின்னரே மோசேமூலமே நியாயப் பிராமணக்  கட்டளைகள் கொடுக்கப்பட்டன. ஆனால் ஆபிரகாம் தனது விசுவாசத்தினால் தேவ நீதியை அதற்கு முன்னரே நிறைவேற்றினார். ஆனால் வேதம் கூறுகின்றது, மோசேமூலம் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட நியாயப்பிராமணக்  கட்டளைகள் தேவ நீதியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ உதவவில்லை. இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலராகிய பவுல் அடிகள், "நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் கிரியைகளினாலே எந்த மனுஷனும் நீதிமானாக்கப்படுவதில்லையே." ( கலாத்தியர் 2 : 16 ) என்றுகூறுகின்றார். 

அப்படி நியாயப்பிரமாணம் நம்மில் செய்யமுடியாத தேவ நீதியை  கிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தால் நாம்  செய்து முடிக்கவேண்டும் என்பதற்காகவே  கிறிஸ்து இயேசு உலகினில் வந்தார். இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலராகிய பவுல் அடிகள், "அதெப்படியெனில், மாம்சத்தினாலே பலவீனமாயிருந்த நியாயப்பிரமாணம் செய்யக்கூடாததை தேவனே செய்யும்படிக்கு, தம்முடைய குமாரனைப் பாவமாம்சத்தின் சாயலாகவும், பாவத்தைப் போக்கும் பலியாகவும் அனுப்பி, மாம்சத்திலே பாவத்தை ஆக்கினைக்குள்ளாகத் தீர்த்தார்." ( ரோமர் 8 : 3 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, வெறும் கட்டளைகளைக் கடைபிடித்து நாம் நம்மை நீதிமான் என்று எண்ணிக்கொண்டிருப்போமானால் நம்மையே நாம் ஏமாற்றிக்கொள்பவர்களாக இருப்போம்.  கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவின்மேல் உள்ள விசுவாசமே நம்மைப் பாவங்களை மேற்கொள்ளவும் நீதியுள்ள ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழவும் உதவிடும். எனவே கிறிஸ்துவின்மேலுள்ள நமது விசுவாசம் குறைந்திடாமல் விழிப்புடன் இருப்போம்.

              RIGHTEOUSNESS BY FAITH

"For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.” ( Romans 4 : 13 )

In today's meditation verse we see the words "righteousness by faith" are used. The righteousness that comes by faith is greater than the righteousness that comes from keeping the commandments. Yes, we can live a righteous life pleasing God only by having faith in Him.

Keeping the commandments of the law does not make us righteous. That is why Jesus Christ looked at the Pharisees and the scribes and said, "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cumin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith.” ( Matthew 23 : 23 )

It is necessary for us to live with faith in God without leaving justice, mercy, and faith, which are special things taught in the law. It is possible only by our faith on Jesus.

In Abrahamic times no Brahminical precepts were given. It was only thousands of years after his time that the Brahminical precepts were given by Moses. But Abraham fulfilled God's righteousness before that by his faith. But the righteous Brahmin commands given by Moses did not help to live a godly righteous life. This is what the Apostle Paul said, "Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.” ( Galatians 2 : 16 )

Christ Jesus came into the world so that we can do what the law cannot do in us through faith in Christ. This is what the apostle Paul says, "For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh” ( Romans 8 : 3 ).

Therefore, beloved, if we consider ourselves righteous by keeping mere commandments, we deceive ourselves. Faith in Christ Jesus will help us to overcome our sins and live a righteous life. So let us be vigilant that our faith in Christ does not wane.

கிறிஸ்துவோடு ஐக்கியம்/ Union with Christ

ஆதவன் 🔥 900🌻 ஜூலை 16, 2023 ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை

"நாம் அவரோடே ஐக்கியப்பட்டவர்களென்று சொல்லியும், இருளிலே நடக்கிறவர்களாயிருந்தால், சத்தியத்தின்படி நடவாமல் பொய்சொல்லுகிறவர்களாயிருப்போம்." ( 1 யோவான்  1 : 6 )

அரசியல் கட்சிகள் தங்கள் கட்சிக்கு உறுப்பினர் சேர்க்கை முகாம்கள் நடத்துகின்றன. தேர்தல் நெருங்கும்போது அவர்களது இந்தச் செயல்பாடுகள் தீவிரமாக இருக்கும். இன்று தங்களைக்  கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொள்பவர்களது நிலைமையும் இப்படி அரசியல் கட்சியில்  உறுப்பினர்களாக சேர்வதுபோல போல ஆகிவிட்டது பரிதாபகரமான நிஜம். 

கிறிஸ்தவ பெற்றோருக்குப் பிறந்துவிட்டதால் நாம் கிறிஸ்தவர்களல்ல; ஆலயங்களுக்குச் செல்வதாலும், தசமபாக காணிக்கைக் கொடுப்பதாலும், ஜெபக் கூட்டங்களில் கலந்துகொள்வதாலும் நாம் கிறிஸ்தவர்களல்ல.  ஆம் நாம் கிறிஸ்துவோடு ஐக்கியப்படாமல் இருந்துகொண்டும் இப்படிபட்டக் காரியங்களைச் செய்யமுடியும். 

கிறிஸ்துவோடு ஐக்கியம் என்பது அவரை நமது வாழ்வில் அனுபவிப்பது; அவரோடு நெருங்கிய உறவினை வளர்த்துக்கொண்டு வாழ்வது; அவரது பிரசன்னத்தை அன்றாடம் வாழ்வில் அனுபவிப்பது; அவரது கற்பனைகளின்படி வாழ்வது. இப்படி வாழும்போது நமது குணங்கள் மாறுதலடையும். நம்மிடம்  ஆவிக்குரிய கனிகள் இருக்கும். 

"ஆவியின் கனியோ, அன்பு, சந்தோஷம், சமாதானம், நீடியபொறுமை, தயவு, நற்குணம், விசுவாசம், சாந்தம், இச்சையடக்கம்; இப்படிப்பட்டவைகளுக்கு விரோதமான பிரமாணம் ஒன்றுமில்லை." ( கலாத்தியர் 5 : 22, 23 ) இப்படி வாழும்போது நாம் சில தியாகங்கள் செய்யவேண்டியிருக்கும். நமது ஆசைகளை, தேவைகளை குறைக்கவேண்டியிருக்கும்.  இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் அடிகள், "கிறிஸ்துவினுடையவர்கள் தங்கள் மாம்சத்தையும் அதின் ஆசை இச்சைகளையும் சிலுவையில் அறைந்திருக்கிறார்கள்." ( கலாத்தியர் 5 : 24 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

இப்படி இல்லாமல் நாம் பெயரளவில் மட்டும் கிறிஸ்தவர்களாக இருப்போமானால் நாம் பொய்யர்கள். எனவேதான்  நாம் அவரோடே ஐக்கியப்பட்டவர்களென்று சொல்லியும், இருளிலே நடக்கிறவர்களாயிருந்தால், சத்தியத்தின்படி நடவாமல் பொய்சொல்லுகிறவர்களாயிருப்போம் என்று இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

நாமும் அவரது சீடர்களைப்போல கிறிஸ்துவோடு ஐக்கியமுள்ளவர்களாக வாழவேண்டும் என்பதற்காகவே அவரிடம் கண்டும் கேட்டும் இருப்பதை நமக்கு அறிவித்துள்ளதாகக் கூறுகின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான யோவான். "நீங்களும் எங்களோடே ஐக்கியமுள்ளவர்களாகும்படி, நாங்கள் கண்டும் கேட்டும் இருக்கிறதை உங்களுக்கும் அறிவிக்கிறோம்; எங்களுடைய ஐக்கியம் பிதாவோடும் அவருடைய குமாரனாகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவோடும் இருக்கிறது." ( 1 யோவான்  1 : 3 ) 

பெயரளவு கிறிஸ்தவர்களாக அல்ல; கிறிஸ்துவோடு ஐக்கியத்தை வளர்த்துக்கொண்டவர்களாக வாழ்வோம். நம்முடைய ஐக்கியம் பிதாவோடும் அவருடைய குமாரனாகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவோடும் இருக்கட்டும். அத்தகைய ஐக்கியத்துக்குத்  தடையாக உள்ள நமது பாவங்களை அவரிடம் அறிக்கையிட்டு மன்னிப்பு வேண்டுவோம்.

                                        Union with Christ

"If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth” ( 1 John  1 : 6 )

Political parties conduct membership recruitment camps for their party. As the elections approach, their activities will intensify. Today, the situation of those who claim to be Christians has become like joining a political party, it is a sad reality.

We are not Christians because we are born of Christian parents; We are not Christians just because we go to church, pay tithes, and attend prayer meetings. Yes, we can do such things even if we are not united with Christ.

Union with Christ is experiencing Him in our lives; Living with him by developing a close relationship; Experiencing His presence in daily life; Living according to his imagination. When we live like this, our qualities change. We will have spiritual fruits.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” (Galatians 5 : 22, 23 ) When we live like this, we have to make some sacrifices. We have to reduce our desires and needs. This is what the apostle Paul says, "And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. ( Galatians 5 : 24 )

If we are Christians in name only, we are liars. That is why today's verse says that if we claim to be united with Him and walk in darkness, we will not walk in truth and tell lies.

The apostle John says that he has announced to us what he sees and hears so that we too should live in union with Christ as his disciples. "That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.” ( 1 John  1 : 3 )

Not as nominal Christians; Let us live in union with Christ. Let our union be with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. Let us confess to Him our sins that hinder such union and seek His forgiveness.

சாமுவேலும் கர்த்தரும் / Samuel and God

ஆதவன் 🔥 899🌻 ஜூலை 15, 2023 சனிக்கிழமை

"சாமுவேல் வளர்ந்தான்; கர்த்தர் அவனுடனேகூட இருந்தார்; அவர் தம்முடைய எல்லா வார்த்தைகளிலும் ஒன்றையாகிலும் தரையிலே விழுந்து போகவிடவில்லை." ( 1 சாமுவேல் 3 : 19 )

இன்றைய தியானத்துக்குரிய இந்த வசனம் என்னைச் சிந்திக்கவைத்தது. இந்த வசனத்தில், "சாமுவேல் வளர்ந்தான்; கர்த்தர் அவனோடுகூட இருந்தார்" என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. அன்பானவர்களே, பொதுவாக நமது வாழ்க்கையில் நாம் வளர வளரக் கர்த்தரைவிட்டு விலகிவிடுகின்றோம். காரணம் வளர வளர உலகக் கவர்ச்சி நம்மை இழுத்து நம்மைப் பாவத்துக்குநேராக இழுத்துச் சென்றுவிடுகின்றது. 

சாமுவேல் சிறுவனாக இருந்தபோதே தேவனது சத்தத்தைக் கேட்கும் அனுபவத்தைப் பெற்றிருந்தார். அதாவது தன்னிடம் கர்த்தர்தான் பேசுகிறார் என்பதைக்கூட அறியமுடியாத வயது அவருக்கு அப்போது. எனவே கர்த்தர், "சாமுவேலே" என்று அழைத்தபோது ஆசாரியானாகிய ஏலிதான்  தன்னை அழைப்பதாக எண்ணிக்கொண்டார். எனவே, சாமுவேலை  மூன்றுமுறை கர்த்தர் அழைத்தபோதும் ஏலியிடம் சென்று "இதோ இருக்கிறேன், என்னை அழைத்தீரே?" என்றார். 

கர்த்தர்தான் சாமுவேலை அழைக்கிறார் என்பதை ஏலி அறிந்துகொண்டார். எனவே மூன்றாவது முறை சாமுவேல்  தன்னிடம் வந்தபோது ஏலி, "சாமுவேலை நோக்கி: நீ போய்ப்படுத்துக்கொள்; உன்னைக் கூப்பிட்டால், அப்பொழுது நீ: கர்த்தாவே சொல்லும்; அடியேன் கேட்கிறேன் என்று சொல் என்றார்". ( 1 சாமுவேல் 3 : 9 )

ஆசாரியனாகிய ஏலியின் புதல்வர்களைப்போல அல்லாமல் சாமுவேல் உத்தமமாக நடந்துகொண்டதால் கர்த்தர் அவருடனேகூட இருந்தார். 

இன்று நமக்கு இது ஒரு படிப்பினையாக உள்ளது. ஊழியமானது பரம்பரைத் தொழிலல்ல. ஆசாரியாகிய ஏலிக்கு இரண்டு மகன்கள் இருந்தபோதும் அவர்களை புறக்கணித்த தேவன் சாமுவேலை தெரிந்துகொண்டார். அது ஏனென்றால் சாமுவேலின்  தூய்மையான வாழ்க்கைதான். ஆனால் இன்றைய நாட்களில் ஊழியம் பரம்பரைத் தொழிலாகிவிட்டது. காரணம், ஊழியத்தின்மூலம் சேர்க்கப்பட்டச் சொத்துக்கள் மற்றவர்களுக்குச் சென்றுவிடக்கூடாது என்பதற்காகத் தங்கள் வாரிசுகளை ஊழியர்கள் ஊழியத்தில் பழக்குகின்றனர். 

சாமுவேலை தேவன் தெரிந்துகொண்டதாலும், அந்தத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளுதலுக்கேற்ப சாமுவேல் நடந்துகொண்டதாலும் கர்த்தர் அவரோடே இருந்தார். அப்படி இருந்ததால், "அவர் தம்முடைய எல்லா வார்த்தைகளிலும் ஒன்றையாகிலும் தரையிலே விழுந்து போகவிடவில்லை. சாமுவேல் கர்த்தருடைய தீர்க்கதரிசிதான் என்று தாண்முதல் பெயெர்செபாமட்டுமுள்ள சகல இஸ்ரவேலருக்கும் விளங்கினது." ( 1 சாமுவேல் 3 : 19,20 )

நமது வாழ்கையினைச் சிந்தித்துப்பார்ப்போம். வளர வளர நாம் எப்படி இருக்கின்றோம்? நேற்றைவிட இன்று எப்படி இருக்கிறது நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கை? எந்த நிலையிலும் கர்த்தர் நம்மைவிட்டு விலகிடாமல் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொள்வது நமது கடமை. அப்படி வாழ்வோமானால் நம்மைக்குறித்த தனது சித்தத்தைத் தேவன் கண்டிப்பாக நிறைவேற்றுவார்.

                       Samuel and God

"And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.”( 1 Samuel 3 : 19 )

This verse for today's meditation got me thinking. This verse says, "Samuel grew up; the Lord was with him." Beloved, generally in our life we move away from God as we grow up. Because, more and more the attraction of the world draws us and drags us towards sin.

Samuel had the experience of hearing the voice of God when he was still a boy. In other words, he was at that age when he could not even know that the Lord was speaking to him. So, when the Lord called, "Samuel," he thought, Eli the priest was calling him. So, when the Lord called him three times, he went to Eli and said, "Here I am, did you call me?".

The third time, Eli said to Samuel: "Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he calls thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So, Samuel went and lay down in his place”. ( 1 Samuel 3 : 9 )

Unlike the sons of Eli the priest, Samuel was righteous and the Lord was with him.

This is a lesson for us today. Ministry is not a hereditary profession. Eli, the priest, had two sons, but God chose Samuel to ignore them. It was because of Samuel's pure life. But nowadays ministry has become a hereditary profession. The reason is that Christian ministers accustom their heirs to service so that the wealth added by them does not pass to others.

Why did God choose Samuel who ignored the two sons of Eli the priest is because of his pure life. That is why the Lord was with Samuel even as he grew up. Because it was so, “The LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground. And all Israel from Dan even to Beersheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the LORD.’ (1 Samuel 3: 19,20)

Let us think about our life. How are we growing up? How is our spiritual life today compared to yesterday? It is our duty to protect our spiritual life so that the Lord does not leave us at any stage. If we live like that, God will fulfill his will for us.

வாளினாலும் ஈட்டியினாலுமல்ல / NOT WITH SWORD AND SPEAR

ஆதவன் 🔥 898🌻 ஜூலை 14, 2023 வெள்ளிக்கிழமை

"கர்த்தர் பட்டயத்தினாலும் ஈட்டியினாலும் இரட்சிக்கிறவர் அல்ல என்று இந்த ஜனக்கூட்டமெல்லாம் அறிந்து கொள்ளும்". ( 1 சாமுவேல் 17 : 47 )

இந்த அண்டசராசரங்களை தனது வார்த்தையால் தேவன் உண்டாக்கினார். அவர் உண்டாகட்டும் என்று கூற அனைத்தும் உண்டாயின. அவருக்குத் தான் உண்டாக்கின மனிதனை இல்லாமலாக்குவது எவ்வளவு எளிதான காரியம்!! அவருக்கு எதிராக போராடுபவர்களை தேவன் நேசிக்கவே செய்கின்றார். அதனால்தான் கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு எதிராகச் செயல்பட்டவர்கள் பிற்பாடு மனம்திரும்பி அவருக்கு ஊழியக்காரராக மாறுகின்றனர். அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் அடிகளே இதற்கு முதல் உதாரணம். 

இன்றைய வசனம் தாவீது பெலிஸ்தியனாகிய கோலியாத்தைக் கொல்லும்முன் கூறிய வார்த்தைகள்.  பழைய ஏற்பாட்டில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ள இந்த வசனத்தை புதிய ஏற்பாட்டு அர்த்தத்தில் நாம் பார்த்தல் நல்லது. 

நமது கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து பட்டயத்தினாலும் ஈட்டியினாலும் இரட்சிக்கிறவர் அல்ல. கெத்சமெனி தோட்டத்தில் அவரைப் பிடிக்க வந்தவர்களில் ஒருவனது காதினை  பேதுரு வாளினால் ட்டியபோது இயேசு கிறிஸ்து அவரிடம், "உன் பட்டயத்தைத் திரும்ப அதின் உறையிலே போடு; பட்டயத்தை எடுக்கிற யாவரும் பட்டயத்தால் மடிந்துபோவார்கள்." ( மத்தேயு 26 : 52 ) என்று கூறித் தடுத்தார். 

மட்டுமல்ல, "நான் இப்பொழுது என் பிதாவை வேண்டிக்கொண்டால், அவர் பன்னிரண்டு லேகியோனுக்கு அதிகமான தூதரை என்னிடத்தில் அனுப்பமாட்டாரென்று நினைக்கிறாயா?" ( மத்தேயு 26 : 53 ) என்று கேள்வி எழுப்பினார். ஆம், அவர் நினைத்தால் ஒரே நொடியில் எல்லாவற்றையும் செய்யமுடியும். 

ஆனால் தேவனது இரட்சிப்பின் திட்டம் வேறு. கிறிஸ்து இரத்தம் சிந்தியாகவேண்டும். அந்த இரத்தத்தால்தான் இரட்சிப்பு நடைபெறவேண்டும். எனவே, இன்றைய வசனம் புதிய ஏற்பாட்டு முறையில் கூறப்படவேண்டுமானால் "கர்த்தர் பட்டயத்தினாலும் ஈட்டியினாலும் இரட்சிக்கிறவர் அல்ல தனது சுய இரத்தத்தால் இரட்சிப்பவர்  என்று இந்த ஜனக்கூட்டமெல்லாம் அறிந்து கொள்ளும்" என்று இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

இன்றைய வசனத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து வாசிக்கும்போது, "இவ்விதமாகத் தாவீது ஒரு கவணினாலும் ஒரு கல்லினாலும் பெலிஸ்தனை மேற்கொண்டு, அவனை மடங்கடித்து, அவனைக் கொன்று போட்டான். " ( 1 சாமுவேல் 17 : 50 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. அன்பானவர்களே, இதனை நாம், "இவ்விதமாகக் கிறிஸ்து மூன்று ஆணிகளாலும் சிலுவையினாலும் பாவத்தை  மேற்கொண்டு, அதனை மடங்கடித்து, அதனை அழித்துப்போட்டார் " என்று கூறலாம்.  

இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் அடிகள், "அதெப்படியெனில், மாம்சத்தினாலே பலவீனமாயிருந்த நியாயப்பிரமாணம் செய்யக்கூடாததை தேவனே செய்யும்படிக்கு, தம்முடைய குமாரனைப் பாவமாம்சத்தின் சாயலாகவும், பாவத்தைப் போக்கும் பலியாகவும் அனுப்பி, மாம்சத்திலே பாவத்தை ஆக்கினைக்குள்ளாகத் தீர்த்தார்." ( ரோமர் 8 : 3 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

ஆம், நமது "கர்த்தர் பட்டயத்தினாலும் ஈட்டியினாலும் இரட்சிக்கிறவர் அல்ல என்று இந்த ஜனக்கூட்டமெல்லாம் அறிந்து கொள்ளும்".

“And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD's, and he will give you into our hands.” ( 1 Samuel 17 : 47 )

God created these universes with his word. Everything came into being because he said let it be. How easy it is for him to destroy the man he made!! God loves those who fight against Him. That is why those who acted against Christ later repent and become His servants. The first example of this is the Apostle Paul.

Today's verse is David's words before killing the Philistine Goliath. It is better to look at this Old Testament verse in the New Testament sense.

Our Lord Jesus Christ does not save by sword and spear. When Peter struck the ear of one of those who came to arrest him in the Garden of Gethsemane with a sword, Jesus Christ said to him, "Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.”( Matthew 26 : 52 )

And not only, "Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?” ( Matthew 26 : 53 ) Yes, he can do everything in a single moment if he thinks.

But God's plan of salvation is different. Christ's blood must be shed. Salvation must take place by that blood. Therefore, if today's verse is to be said in the New Testament way it should be "And all this multitude shall know that the Lord saveth not by sword and spear, but by his own blood."

When we continue to read today's verse, it is said, "So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him” ( 1 Samuel 17 : 50 )  Beloved, we may say this also like, "Thus by three nails and a cross did Christ take away the sin, and humble it, and slewed it."

This is what the apostle Paul says, "For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh” (Romans 8 : 3 )

Yes, “all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear”

தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட சந்ததி/Chosen Generation

ஆதவன் 🔥 897🌻 ஜூலை 13, 2023 வியாழக்கிழமை

"நீங்களோ, உங்களை அந்தகாரத்தினின்று தம்முடைய ஆச்சரியமான ஒளியினிடத்திற்கு வரவழைத்தவருடைய புண்ணியங்களை அறிவிக்கும்படிக்குத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட சந்ததியாயும், ராஜரீகமான ஆசாரியக்கூட்டமாயும், பரிசுத்த ஜாதியாயும், அவருக்குச் சொந்தமான ஜனமாயும் இருக்கிறீர்கள்." ( 1 பேதுரு 2 : 9 )

கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவினால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களாகிய நமக்கு கிடைத்துள்ள பெரியபேறு என்ன என்பதை அப்போஸ்தலனாகியப் பேதுரு இன்றைய வசனத்தில் விளக்குகின்றார்.   முன்பு அந்தகார  இருளிலிருந்து நம்மை அவர் தனது ஆச்சரியமான ஒளியினுள் அழைத்தார். நாம் அதனால் கர்த்தரால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களும், ஆசாரியர்களாகவும் பரிசுத்த ஜாதியாகவும் அவருக்குச் சொந்தமான மக்களாகவும் மாறியுள்ளோம். ஏன் இப்படி நம்மை அழைத்தார்? அவரை நமது சாட்சியுள்ள வாழ்க்கையால் மற்றவர்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கவேண்டுமென்பதால்.

இந்த உலகத்தில் வாழும் அனைவருமே அந்த ஆச்சரியமான ஒளியாகிய அவரை அறிந்துகொள்ள வேண்டுமென்றால் அவரை அறிவித்தால்தான் முடியும். எனவே நாம் நமது வாழ்க்கையால் அவரை அறிவிக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

அவர் நம்மைத் தெரிந்துகொண்ட இந்தத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளுதல் சாதாரணமாக எளிதில் நமக்குக் கிடைத்திடவில்லை; மாறாக, அவரது பரிசுத்த இரத்தத்தால் கிடைத்தது. அவரது பாடுகளும், இரத்தம் சிந்துதலும் நமக்கு இந்தச் சிறப்பினைப் பெற்றுத்தந்துள்ளது. 

இதனையே நாம் வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷத்தில் வாசிக்கின்றோம்,  "நம்மிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்து, தமது இரத்தத்தினாலே நம்முடைய பாவங்களற நம்மைக் கழுவி, தம்முடைய பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்குமுன்பாக நம்மை ராஜாக்களும் ஆசாரியர்களுமாக்கின அவருக்கு மகிமையும் வல்லமையும் என்றென்றைக்கும் உண்டாயிருப்பதாக." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 1 : 6 ) என்று. 

பதவியில் இருக்கும் ஒருவர் மற்றவர் மேலான இடத்தைப் பிடித்துவிடக்கூடாது என்பதிலேயே குறியாக இருந்து செயல்படுவார். ஆனால் நமது கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து நாம் அவரைப்போல பிதாவோடுகூட இருக்கவிடுமென்று நம்மைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார். இதனை அவர் தனது சீடர்களோடு உலகத்தில் வாழ்ந்தபோது தனது ஜெபத்தில் பிதாவைநோக்கி முறையிட்டார். (யோவான் - 17:23-26)

அன்பானவர்களே, இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் பாடுகளின் காரணம் இதுதான். அதாவது நம்மேல் வைத்த அன்பினால் நாம் அவரது பரிசுத்த சமூகத்தில் ராஜாக்களாக இருக்கவேண்டுமென்பதற்காக இந்தப் பாடுகளை அவர் அனுபவித்தார். இந்த உண்மையினை நாம் வரும்போதுதான்  கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் நமக்குத் தனிப்பட்ட அன்பு ஏற்படும்.  

கிறிஸ்துவின் அன்பையும் நமக்காக அவர்பட்ட பாடுகளின் தியாகத்திற்காகவும் எண்ணி அவருக்கு நன்றியுள்ளவர்களாக வாழ்வோம். கிறிஸ்து வெறுக்கும் காரியங்களை நாமும் வெறுப்போம். கர்த்தர் நம்மை ஆசீர்வதிப்பாராக.

                                           Chosen Generation

"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light" ( 1 Peter 2 : 9 )

Apostle Peter explains in today's verse what is the great gift we have received as chosen by Christ Jesus. He has called us out of the previously darkness into His wondrous light. We have thus become God's chosen people, priests, a holy nation, and his own people. Why did he call us like this? Because we want to make Him known to others by our witnessing life.

If everyone living in this world is to know Him who is that amazing light, then He should be announced. So, it is necessary that we declare Him with our lives.

His choosing does not come easily to us; Instead, it was obtained by His holy blood. His sufferings and shedding of blood have earned us this glory.

This is what we read in the Revelation, "Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen." ( Revelation 1 : 5. 6 )

A person in a high position will act with the aim of not being overtaken by another. But our Lord Jesus Christ chose us that we should be with the Father as he is. This he appealed to the Father in his prayer when he lived in the world with his disciples. (John - 17:23-26)

Beloved, this is the cause of the sufferings of Jesus Christ. That is, because of His love for us, He suffered these things so that we might be kings in His holy society. Only when we come to know this truth will we have a personal love for Christ.

Let us live in gratitude to Christ for his love and sacrifice for us. Let us hate the things that Christ hates. May the Lord bless us.

ஜீவத்தண்ணீர் / Living Water

ஆதவன் 🔥 896🌻 ஜூலை 12, 2023 புதன்கிழமை

"எல்லாக் காவலோடும் உன் இருதயத்தைக் காத்துக்கொள், அதினிடத்தினின்று ஜீவவூற்று புறப்படும்." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 4 : 23 )

உயிர்களின் பிறப்பிடமே தண்ணீர்தான். எனவேதான் இன்று விஞ்ஞானிகள் பல்வேறு கிரகங்களில் நீர் இருக்கின்றதா என்பதை அறிவதில் ஆர்வம் காட்டுகிறார்கள். ஏனெனில் ஒரு கிரகத்தில் தண்ணீர் இருக்குமானால் அங்கு உயிர்கள் வாசிக்க வாய்ப்புகள் அதிகம் இருக்கின்றது என்று பொருள். 

நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வு உயிருள்ள வாழ்வாக இருக்கவேண்டுமானால் நமது ஆத்துமாவில் ஜீவத் தண்ணீர் இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். நீரற்ற வறண்ட நிலத்தில் எப்படி பயிர்களோ உயிர்களோ வலராதோ அதுபோல உயிரற்ற ஆத்துமாவில் எதுவுமே இராது.  இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுகின்றது, "எல்லாக் காவலோடும் உன் இருதயத்தைக் காத்துக்கொள், அதினிடத்தினின்று ஜீவவூற்று புறப்படும்." ஆம், நமது இருதயத்திலிருந்து  ஜீவ ஊற்று புறப்படவேண்டுமானால் நமது இருதயம் பக்குவமாக பாதுகாக்கப்படவேண்டும்.  

ஜீவத்தண்ணீர் என்று இயேசு குறிப்பிடுவது பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரைக் குறித்துதான். இதனையே, "தம்மை விசுவாசிக்கிறவர்கள் அடையப்போகிற ஆவியைக்குறித்து இப்படிச் சொன்னார்." ( யோவான் 7 : 39 ) என்று குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுவதன்படி, இருதயம் பாதுகாக்கப்படவேண்டுமானால் நாம் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் விசுவாசம் உள்ளவர்களாய் வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். எனவேதான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் கூறினார், "வேதவாக்கியம் சொல்லுகிறபடி என்னிடத்தில் விசுவாசமாயிருக்கிறவன் எவனோ, அவன் உள்ளத்திலிருந்து ஜீவத்தண்ணீருள்ள நதிகள் ஓடும்." ( யோவான் 7 : 38 ) என்று. 

மேலும் சமாரிய பெண்ணிடம் பேசும்போது இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக்  கூறினார், "இயேசு அவளுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: நீ தேவனுடைய ஈவையும், தாகத்துக்குத்தா என்று உன்னிடத்தில் கேட்கிறவர் இன்னார் என்பதையும் அறிந்திருந்தாயானால், நீயே அவரிடத்தில் கேட்டிருப்பாய், அவர் உனக்கு ஜீவத்தண்ணீரைக் கொடுத்திருப்பார்." ( யோவான் 4 : 10 )

ஆனால் இன்று அல்ல, இன்றும்கூட மனிதர்கள் கர்த்தரையும் அவரது ஆவியானவரையும் பெறுவதற்கு முயற்சிப்பதைவிட  பிற காரியங்களில்தான் கவனம் செலுத்துகின்றனர். இதனையே எரேமியா மூலம் தேவன்  கூறினார், "என் ஜனங்கள் இரண்டு தீமைகளைச் செய்தார்கள்; ஜீவத்தண்ணீர் ஊற்றாகிய என்னை விட்டுவிட்டார்கள்; தண்ணீர் நிற்காத தொட்டிகளாகிய வெடிப்புள்ள தொட்டிகளைத் தங்களுக்கு வெட்டிக்கொண்டார்கள்." ( எரேமியா 2 : 13 )

நமது இருதயத்தை தேவனுக்கு ஏற்றபடி மாற்றாமல் உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்கே முன்னுரிமை கொடுத்து வாழ்கின்றோமென்றால் நாம் ஜீவத்தண்ணீர் ஊற்றினைவிட்டு வெடிப்புள்ள தண்ணீர் நிற்காத தொட்டிகளைக் கட்டுகின்றவர்களாகவே இருப்போம். அத்தகைய தொட்டியால் யாருக்கும் பயனில்லை.  

நமது இருதயத்தை இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவுக்குத் திறந்து கொடுப்போம்; எல்லாக் காவலோடும் நமது இருதயத்தைக் காத்துக்கொள்வோம் அப்போது ஜீவ ஆவியான பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர்  நமது இருதயத்திலிருந்து ஊற்றாகப்  புறப்படுவார். ஜீவ ஊற்று நமது இருதயத்திலிருந்து புறப்படுமேயானால் நாம் நமக்குமட்டுமல்ல, நம்மைச் சுற்றியுள்ள மனிதர்களுக்கும் உபயோகமுள்ளவர்களாக இருப்போம். நம்மைச் சுற்றிலும் செழிப்பான ஒரு தோட்டமே உருவாகும்.  

                                                                             

                             LIVING WATER

"Guard your heart with all care, and out of it will flow the fountain of life." (Proverbs 4:23)

Water is the source of life. That is why scientists today are interested in knowing whether water exists on various planets. Because if there is water on a planet, it means that there are more chances for life to grow there.

If our spiritual life is to be a living life, we must have living water in our soul. Just as there are no crops or life in dry land without water, there is nothing in the lifeless soul. Today's verse says, "Guard your heart with all guard, and out of it will spring forth sustenance." Yes, if the fountain of life is to flow from our heart, our heart must be maturely guarded.

Jesus refers to the Holy Spirit as living water. This is what he said, " But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive” (John 7:39)  

If the heart is to be protected, it is necessary for us to live as people who have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. That is why Jesus Christ said, "He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water.” ( John 7 : 38 )

And speaking to the Samaritan woman, Jesus Christ said, " If thou knew the gift of God, and who it is that said to you, give me to drink; you would have asked of him, and he would have given you living water.” ( John 4 : 10 )

But even today, people focus on other things than God. This is what God said through Jeremiah, “For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.” ( Jeremiah 2 : 13 )

If we do not change our heart according to God and give priority to the blessings of the world, then we will be the ones who build cisterns that will not hold water from the fountain of living water. Such a tank is of no use to anyone.

Let us open our hearts to Jesus Christ; Let us guard our heart with all care, then the Spirit of life, the Holy Spirit, will flow forth from our heart as a fountain. If the fountain of life flows from our heart, we will be useful not only to ourselves but also to the people around us. A lush garden will grow around us.

ஒளியை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வோம் / Accept the Light

ஆதவன் 🔥 895🌻 ஜூலை 11, 2023 செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை

"பொல்லாங்கு செய்கிற எவனும் ஒளியைப் பகைக்கிறான், தன் கிரியைகள் கண்டிக்கப்படாதபடிக்கு, ஒளியினிடத்தில் வராதிருக்கிறான்." ( யோவான் 3 : 20 )

ஒருமுறை என்னிடம் அன்பாகவே இருக்கும் எனது ஊரைச் சார்ந்த எனது அப்பா வயதுடைய ஆசிரியப் பெரியவர் ஒருவரிடம் பேசிக்கொண்டிருக்கும்போது எங்களது பேச்சு சுவிசேஷம் சம்பந்தமாகத் திரும்பியது. பதினைந்து இருபது நிமிடங்கள் பேசியபின்பு, அவர் என்னிடம், "என்ன தம்பி எல்லோரும் பாவம், பாவம் ..... என்றுதான் சொல்கிறீர்கள். எதுதான் பாவம்? என்றார். நான் அவருக்கு, "தேவ சித்தத்துக்கு எதிரான நமது செயல்களெல்லாமே பாவம்தான்" என்றேன். "இப்படிச் சொன்னா எப்படி...தெளிவாகச் சொல்லுங்க" என்றார். 

நான் அவரிடம்,  உங்களுக்கு உதாரணத்துக்கு ஒரு வசனம் சொல்கிறேன் என்று கூறி, "............வேசிமார்க்கத்தாரும், விக்கிரகாராதனைக்காரரும், விபசாரக்காரரும், சுயபுணர்ச்சிக்காரரும், ஆண்புணர்ச்சிக்காரரும், திருடனும், பொருளாசைக்காரரும், வெறியரும், உதாசினரும், கொள்ளைக்காரரும் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தைச் சுதந்தரிப்பதில்லை." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 6 : 9, 10 ) என்ற வசனத்தைச் சொன்னேன். 

அதுவரை தம்பி,  தம்பி  என அன்பாகப் பேசியவர், "சின்னப்பயலே .. என்னடா பேசுகிறாய்? என்னைப்பற்றி உனக்குத் தெரியுமாடா? உன் அப்பா வயசுடா எனக்கு " என்றபடி என்னை அடிக்கக் கை ஓங்கினார். எனக்கு எதுவும் புரியவில்லை. ஏன் இவருக்கு இவ்வளவு கோபம்?. இந்தச் சம்பவத்தை எனது  ஆவிக்குரிய நண்பரிடம் நான் சொல்லும்போது அவர் கூறினார், "அவரே ஆண்புணர்ச்சிக்காரர் அவரிடம்  நீ  இப்படிச் சொன்னா உன்னை அடிக்காம என்னசெய்வார்.? ஏற்கெனவே பள்ளியில் இவர்மேல் இந்தக் குற்றச்சாட்டிற்கு அவருக்கு மெமோ கொடுத்திருக்கிறார்கள்" என்று விளக்கினார். அதன்பிறகு அந்த ஆசிரியர் என்னிடம் பேசமாட்டார். என்னைக் காணும் இடங்களில் முறைத்துக்கொண்டு செல்வார்.

ஆம், இப்படியே இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவிடம் பலரும் நெருங்கிவரத் தயங்குவதற்குக் காரணம் அவர்களது பாவங்களே. தெய்வங்கள் என்று கூறப்படும் மற்ற எந்த தெய்வங்களும் மனிதர்கள் தன்னிடம்நெருங்கிவர அவர்களது பாவங்கள் தடையாக இருக்கின்றன என்று கூறுவதில்லை. எனவே எளிதாக சில பரிகாரங்களைச் செய்கிறார்கள்.   ஆனால் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவிடம் நெருங்க நாம் எந்தப் பரிகாரமும் செய்யத் தேவையில்லை. காரணம் அவரே நமக்காக , நமது பாவங்களுக்குப் பரிகாரியாகிவிட்டார்.  அதனை விசுவாசித்து ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு மன்னிப்பு பெறும்போது நாம்  கிறிஸ்துவை வாழ்வில் பெறுகின்றோம். 

இந்த உலகினில் சில தொழில்கள் நாம் மிக அதிகமாகப் பாவம்செய்ய ஏதுவானத் தொழில்களாக உள்ளன. எனவே அத்தகைய தொழில்களைச் செய்பவர்களிடம் நாம் சுவிசேஷம் சொல்லும்போது அவர்களுக்கு அது தொழிலுக்குத் தடைபோலத் தெரியும். எனவே நமது சுவிசேஷ அறிவிப்பை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளமாட்டார்கள். 

ஆம், "பொல்லாங்கு செய்கிற எவனும் ஒளியைப் பகைக்கிறான், தன் கிரியைகள் கண்டிக்கப்படாதபடிக்கு, ஒளியினிடத்தில் வராதிருக்கிறான்."  திருடர்கள் திருடச் செல்லும்போது முதலில் அந்த இடத்திலுள்ள ஒளியைத்தான் முதலில் அழிக்க முயலுவார்கள். ஏனெனில் ஒளியானது அவர்களது செயலை வெளிச்சம் போட்டுக் காட்டிவிடும். இதுபோல கிறிஸ்துவின் வசனங்கள் பலரது பாவங்களை வெளிச்சம்போட்டுக் காட்டி அவர்களது மனச்சாட்சியைக் குத்துவதால் அவர்கள் வேத வசனங்களையும் அவற்றை எடுத்துச் சொல்பவர்களை பகைக்கின்றனர்.  

துணிவுடன் கள்ளம் கபடமின்றி நமது பாவங்களை ஒத்துக்கொண்டு ஒளியாம் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போதுதான் அவரை நமது வாழ்வில் பெற்று அனுபவிக்கமுடியும்.

                           ACCEPT THE LIGHT

" For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.” ( John 3 : 20 )

Once,  I was talking to an elder teacher of my father's age from my hometown who is dear to me. Our conversation turned to Biblical matters. After talking for fifteen to twenty minutes, he said to me, "Brother, you and everyone preaching Gospel are saying sin, sin.... What is sin?" I said to him, "All our actions against God's will are sins."

He asked for further clarification. I said to him, I will tell you a verse for illustration, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” ( 1 Corinthians 6 : 9, 10 )

Until then, the one who had spoken lovingly as brother, raised his hand to hit me saying, "What are you talking about? Do you know about me? Is I am your father’s age.? " I do not understand anything. Why is he so angry? When I told this incident to my spiritual friend, he said, "He's a homosexual and will he not get angry when you tell him like this? He's already been given a memo on this charge at school." After that the teacher would not talk to me. He stares at me wherever he sees me.

Yes, the reason many hesitate to come to Jesus Christ is because of their sins. None of the other so-called deities claim that human beings are prevented by their sins from approaching them. So some remedies are easily done. But we don't need to do any penance to get closer to the Lord Jesus Christ. The reason is that He Himself has become the propitiation for our sins. When we believe and accept it and receive forgiveness, we receive Christ in our lives.

There are some professions in this world where people are tending to sin the most. So, when we evangelize those who do such professions, they see it as a hindrance to their profession. So, they will not accept our gospel message.

Yes, " one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.” When thieves go to steal, they first try to put off the light in that place. Because light will illuminate their actions. In this way, because the words of Christ expose the sins of many and prick their consciences, they hate the scriptures and hate those who speak those words.

We can receive and enjoy Jesus Christ in our lives only when we boldly admit our sins without hypocrisy and accept the light Jesus Christ.
