🍒Meditation verse - ரோமர் 4: 13 / Romans 4:13

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,517   

'ஆதவன்' 💚ஏப்ரல் 02, 2025. 💚புதன்கிழமை

"அன்றியும், உலகத்தைச் சுதந்தரிப்பான் என்கிற வாக்குத்தத்தம் ஆபிரகாமுக்காவது அவன் சந்ததிக்காவது நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தினால் கிடையாமல் விசுவாசத்தினால் வருகிற நீதியினால் கிடைத்தது." ( ரோமர் 4: 13)

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் மூலம் நாம் அறியவேண்டிய கருத்து  பத்துக்கட்டளைகள், திருச்சபைக் கட்டளைகள் இவற்றுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து வாழ்வதால் மட்டும் நாம் தேவனுக்குமுன் நீதிமான்கள் ஆகிவிடுவதில்லை  என்பதே.    பழையஏற்பாட்டுக் காலத்திலும் பலர் இப்படியே எண்ணிக்கொண்டிருந்தனர். குறிப்பாக, பரிசேயர்கள் இப்படிப்பட்ட எண்ணத்தில்தான் இருந்தனர்.  ஆனால் வேதம், கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவந்தால் மட்டும் ஒருவர் நீதிமானாக முடியாது என்று கூறுகின்றது. 

எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "இப்படியிருக்க, பாவத்தை அறிகிற அறிவு நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தினால் வருகிறபடியால், எந்த மனுஷனும் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் கிரியைகளினாலே தேவனுக்கு முன்பாக நீதிமானாக்கப்படுவதில்லை." ( ரோமர் 3: 20) என்று கூறுகின்றார். முற்காலத்தில் பரிசேயர்கள்  கட்டளைகளை வெறும்  கட்டளைகளாகப் பார்த்தனரேத்தவிர நீதி நியாயம் நேர்மையற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்தனர். கட்டளைகளுக்கு முன்னுரிமைகொடுத்து மனிதமாண்பை புறம்பேத் தள்ளினர். 

வெறுமனே கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதால் அல்ல மாறாக,  தேவன்மேல் விசுவாசம்கொண்டு வாழும்போது மட்டுமே நாம் மெய்யான நீதியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழமுடியும். இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "வேதவாக்கியம் என்ன சொல்லுகிறது? ஆபிரகாம் தேவனை விசுவாசித்தான், அது அவனுக்கு நீதியாக எண்ணப்பட்டது என்று சொல்லுகிறது" ( ரோமர் 4: 3) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

உன் சந்ததி வானத்தின் நட்சத்திரங்களைப்போல இருக்குமென்று தேவன் ஆபிரகாமுக்கு வாக்களிக்கக் காரணம் கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து அவர் வாழ்ந்த வாழ்க்கையல்ல, மாறாக தேவன்மேல் அவர் கொண்ட விசுவாச  வாழ்வுதான் காரணம். உலகத்தைச் சுதந்தரிப்பான் என்கிற வாக்குத்தத்தம் ஆபிரகாமுக்கும்  அவன் சந்ததிக்கும் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்துக்கு அவர் கீழ்ப்படிந்து வாழ்ந்ததால் கிடைக்காமல் அவரது  விசுவாசத்தினால் வந்த நீதியினால் கிடைத்தது.

மேலும் இந்த விசுவாச வாழ்க்கையால்தான் ஆபிரகாமை நாம் விசுவாசத்தின் தந்தை என்கின்றோம்.  "அநேக ஜாதிகளுக்கு உன்னைத் தகப்பனாக ஏற்படுத்தினேன் என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறபடி, அவன் தான் விசுவாசித்தவருமாய், மரித்தோரை உயிர்ப்பித்து, இல்லாதவைகளை இருக்கிறவைகளைப்போல் அழைக்கிறவருமாயிருக்கிற தேவனுக்கு முன்பாக நம்மெல்லாருக்கும் தகப்பனானான்." ( ரோமர் 4: 17)

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, வெறுமனே கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து வாழ்வதால் நாம் நீதிமான்கள் ஆகிடமுடியாது. கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவின்மேல்  பூரண விசுவாசம் கொண்டு வாழும்போது மட்டுமே அந்த விசுவாசம் நம்மைப் பூரண ஆவிக்குரிய மக்களாக மாற்றிடமுடியும். காரணம், கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் விசுவாசம்கொண்டு வாழும்போது நாம் ஆவியானவரின் கட்டுப்பாட்டில் வந்துவிடுகின்றோம். அப்போது அவரே நம்மை வழிநடத்துவார். 

"சத்திய ஆவியாகிய அவர் வரும்போது, சகல சத்தியத்திற்குள்ளும் உங்களை நடத்துவார்; அவர் தம்முடைய சுயமாய்ப் பேசாமல், தாம் கேள்விப்பட்டவைகள் யாவையுஞ்சொல்லி, வரப்போகிற காரியங்களை உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பார்." ( யோவான் 16: 13) என்று இயேசு கூறவில்லையா? எனவே, கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவின்மேல் நாம் கொள்ளும் விசுவாசமே நம்மை இரட்சித்து நீதியின் பாதையில் நடத்திடமுடியும். 

எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலராகிய பவுல், "ஆகையால் விசுவாசமார்க்கத்தார்கள் எவர்களோ அவர்களே ஆபிரகாமின் பிள்ளைகளென்று அறிவீர்களாக." ( கலாத்தியர் 3: 7) என்றும், "அந்தப்படி விசுவாசமார்க்கத்தார் விசுவாசமுள்ள ஆபிரகாமுடனே ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படுகிறார்கள்." ( கலாத்தியர் 3: 9) என்றும்  நமக்கு உணர்த்துகின்றார். கிறிஸ்துவை மட்டுமே விசுவாசிப்போம்; மெய்யான நீதியின் வாழ்க்கையினை வாழ்ந்து தேவ ஆசீர்வாதத்தைப் பெறுவோம். "விசுவாசத்தினாலே நீதிமான் பிழைப்பான், பின்வாங்கிப்போவானானால் அவன்மேல் என் ஆத்துமா பிரியமாயிராது என்கிறார்." ( எபிரெயர் 10: 38) தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

Scripture Meditation – No. 1,517

AATHAVAN 💚 April 02, 2025 💚 Wednesday

"For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith." (Romans 4:13, KJV)

The key truth we must grasp from today’s Scripture is that merely obeying the Ten Commandments or church traditions does not make us righteous before God. In the Old Testament era, many believed this—especially the Pharisees. However, the Bible clearly states that no one can be justified by the works of the law.

This is why the Apostle Paul declares: "Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin." (Romans 3:20, KJV)

The Pharisees treated God’s commandments as mere rules but failed to live righteously. They prioritized legalism over true justice, mercy, and faithfulness.

Righteousness Comes by Faith, Not Works

We cannot attain true righteousness by blind obedience to laws but only by living in faith toward God. As Paul affirms: "For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness." (Romans 4:3, KJV)

When God promised Abraham that his descendants would be as numerous as the stars, it was not because of his perfect law-keeping but because of his faith. The inheritance of the world was given to Abraham and his seed not through the law but through the righteousness of faith.

Because of his faith, Abraham is called "the father of all who believe."

"(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were." (Romans 4:17, KJV)

Beloved, We Are Saved by Faith in Christ

We cannot become righteous by mere rule-following. Only complete faith in Christ Jesus transforms us into true spiritual children of God. When we live by faith, we come under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, who leads us into all truth.

Jesus said: "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come." (John 16:13, KJV)

Thus, faith in Christ alone saves us and leads us in the path of righteousness.

This is why Paul proclaims: "Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham." (Galatians 3:7, KJV) "So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham." (Galatians 3:9, KJV)

Let us trust in Christ alone, live in true righteousness, and receive God’s abundant blessings! “Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.” (Hebrews 10: 38) says the Lord.
