❤️Meditation verse - மாற்கு 10: 27 / Mark 10:27

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,496    

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 12, 2025. 💚புதன்கிழமை 

 

"இயேசு அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: மனுஷரால் இது கூடாததுதான், தேவனால் இது கூடாததல்ல; தேவனாலே எல்லாம் கூடும் என்றார்." ( மாற்கு 10: 27)

நாம் தேவனை சர்வ வல்லவர் என்றுகூறுகின்றோம். இதன் பொருள், அவருக்கு எந்தச் செயலையும் செய்யும் வல்லமை உண்டு என்று பொருள். ஒன்றுமில்லாமையிலிருந்து இந்த அண்டசராசரங்களை உருவாக்கியவர் அவர். இல்லாதவைகளை இருக்கின்றவையாக மாற்றுகின்றவர் அவர். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறப்பட்டப் பின்னணியைப் பார்ப்போமானால், பொருளாசை கொண்டவர்கள் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் பிரவேசிப்பது  மிகவும் கடினமான காரியம் என்று இயேசு கூறினார். இதனையே அவர், "ஐசுவரியவான் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் பிரவேசிப்பதைப்பார்க்கிலும், ஒட்டகமானது ஊசியின் காதிலே நுழைவது எளிதாயிருக்கும் என்றார்." ( மாற்கு 10: 25) இதனைக்கேட்ட சீடர்களும் யூதர்களும் அப்படியானால் யார்தான் அதில் பிரவேசிக்கமுடியும் என்று ஆச்சரியப்பட்டார்கள். அவர்களைப் பார்த்துத்தான் இயேசு இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தைக் கூறினார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, மனிதர்களால் கூடாதவை தேவனால் கூடும்.  பணம் படைத்தவர்கள் பரலோக ராஜ்யத்தில் பிரவேசிக்க முடியாது என்று இயேசு கூறவில்லை. மாறாக, மற்றவர்களைவிட அவர்கள் அதில் பிரவேசிக்க அதிக முயற்சியெடுக்கவேண்டும் என்றுதான் கூறுகின்றார். காரணம், ஒருவரிடம் அதிகமான பணம் சேரும்போது கூடவே அதிகமான கெட்டப்  பழக்கவழக்கங்களும் சேர்ந்துகொள்ளும். மட்டுமல்ல, அவர் பெருமைகொண்டு தனது சுய பலத்தை நம்பி வாழ்வார்; மற்றவர்களை அற்பமாக எண்ணி நடத்துவார்.  இத்தகைய குணங்களை அவைகளை விட்டு விலக்குவது அவர்களால் பெரும்பாலும் முடிவதில்லை. 

ஆனால், அத்தகையவர்களும் தேவனுடைய ஆவியானவருக்குத் தங்களை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து வாழும்போது தேவன் அவர்களுக்குத் தங்கள் வழிகளைவிட்டு தேவ வழியில் நடக்க உதவிடுவார். வேதாகமத்தில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ள பல தேவ மனிதர்கள் செல்வந்தர்களாக இருந்தவர்கள்தான். ஆபிரகாம், யாக்கோபு போன்றதனி மனிதர்களும்,  ஆட்சி அதிகாரம் பெற்றிருந்த  தாவீது ராஜா, எசேக்கியா ராஜா போன்றவர்களும் இதற்கு உதாரணம்.  ஆம், இவர்களெல்லாம் "மனுஷரால் இது கூடாததுதான், தேவனால் இது கூடாததல்ல; தேவனாலே எல்லாம் கூடும்" எனும் வசனத்தின்படி தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தை உரிமையாக்கிக்கொண்டவர்கள். 

நாம் பொருளாசை எனும் இச்சையில் விழுந்து கிடப்போமானால் நம்மால் மேலான ஆவிக்குரிய ஆசீர்வாதங்களை உரிமையாக்கமுடியாது. மட்டுமல்ல, தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்துக்கும் நாம் அந்நியராகிவிடுவோம். இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதுபோல பொருளாசைக்கு நாம் விலகி வாழ்வது மனித முயற்சியால் கூடாதது. ஆனால் தேவனைச் சார்ந்து இருப்போமானால் இது கூடும். 

"என் கிருபை உனக்குப்போதும்; பலவீனத்திலே என் பலம் பூரணமாய் விளங்கும்". (2 கொரிந்தியர் 12:9) என்று அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுலுக்குத் தேவன் கூறவில்லையா? இந்த வசனத்தின்படி, பொருளாசை எனும் பலவீனம் நமக்கு இருக்குமானால் அதனை தேவனிடம் அறிக்கையிடுவோம். நமது பலவீனத்திலே தேவனது பலம் பூரணமாய் விளங்கும். அப்போது மனுஷரால் கூடாதது தேவனால்  கூடும் எனும் வசனத்துக்கேற்ப நமது பொருள் சார்ந்த பலவீனம் நம்மைவிட்டு அகலும். ஆம், தேவனது வல்லமையால் ஒட்டகமும் ஊசியின் காதினுள் நுழையும்.

AATHAVAN 💚 March 12, 2025 💚 Wednesday

"And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible." (Mark 10:27, KJV)

We often refer to God as the Almighty. This means He has the power to accomplish anything. He created the universe out of nothing. He calls into existence things that do not exist.

When we look at the context of today’s meditation verse, Jesus was speaking about how difficult it is for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God. He said, "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." (Mark 10:25, KJV). Hearing this, the disciples and the Jews were astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?” It was to them that Jesus spoke today’s meditation verse.

Yes, dear friends, what is impossible for man is possible with God. Jesus did not say that the wealthy cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. Rather, He emphasized that they must strive harder than others to enter it. The reason is that when one accumulates great wealth, it often brings along harmful habits and attitudes. Moreover, such individuals may become prideful, relying on their own strength and looking down on others. These traits are often difficult to overcome.

However, when such individuals surrender themselves to the Holy Spirit and live in obedience to God, He will help them turn away from their ways and walk in His path. The Bible records many godly individuals who were wealthy. Examples include Abraham, Jacob, and kings like David and Hezekiah. Yes, these individuals laid hold of God’s kingdom by the truth of the verse: "With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible."

If we fall into the trap of greed, we will not be able to claim the higher spiritual blessings. Worse still, we may become strangers to God’s kingdom. As today’s meditation verse reminds us, it is impossible by human effort to overcome greed. But if we depend on God, it becomes possible.

Did not God say to the Apostle Paul, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9, KJV)? According to this verse, if we struggle with the weakness of greed, let us bring it before God. In our weakness, God’s strength will be made perfect. Then, as the verse says, what is impossible for man will become possible with God. Our weakness related to material desires will leave us. Yes, by God’s power, even a camel can pass through the eye of a needle.

❤️Meditation verse - எபிரெயர் 11: 31 / Hebrews 11:31

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,495    

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 11, 2025. 💚செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை  

"விசுவாசத்தினாலே ராகாப் என்னும் வேசி வேவுக்காரரைச் சமாதானத்தோடே ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு, கீழ்ப்படியாதவர்களோடேகூடச் சேதமாகாதிருந்தாள்." ( எபிரெயர் 11: 31)

வரி வசூல் செய்யும் மக்களையும் பாலியல் தொழிலாளர்களையும் பாவிகள் என்று யூத சமுதாயம் ஒதுக்கி வைத்திருந்தது. அவர்களோடு பழகுவதற்குத் தயக்கம் காட்டியது. ஆனால் அவர்களும் மனம்திரும்பும்போது தேவனுக்கு உகந்தவர்கள் ஆகின்றனர். இதனால்தான் மனம் திரும்பிய சகேயுவைக்குறித்து இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "இவனும் ஆபிரகாமுக்குக் குமாரனாயிருக்கிறானே" (லூக்கா 19:9)  என்று  பாராட்டிக் கூறினார். விபச்சாரத்தில் கையும்மெய்யுமாய் பிடிபட்டப்  பெண்ணை மன்னித்தார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, "இழந்துபோனதைத் தேடவும் இரட்சிக்கவுமே மனுஷகுமாரன் வந்திருக்கிறார்" (லூக்கா 19:10)  

நாமும் பலவேளைகளில் பாலியல் தொழிலில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ள பெண்களை வேசிகள் எனும் கொச்சையான வார்த்தையால் குறிப்பிடுகின்றோம். ஆனால் இத்தகைய பெண்களோடு பழகிப்பார்க்கும்போது அவர்கள் பலவிதங்களில்சாதாரண வாழ்க்கை நடத்தும் பெண்களைப் போலவே இருக்கின்றனர். அவர்களும் ஜெபிக்கின்றனர், தர்மம் செய்கின்றனர், ஆராதனைகளில் கலந்துகொள்கின்றனர், இரக்கச்செயல்கள் பலச்செய்கின்றனர்.     

நான் ஒரு தொண்டு நிறுவனத்தில்  பணியாற்றியபோது இத்தகைய பெண்களோடு பழகும்  வாய்ப்பினைப் பெற்றிருக்கிறேன். தேவனது சத்தியங்களை அறிந்துகொள்வதற்காகவே இந்த வாய்ப்பினை தேவன் எனக்குத் தந்திருந்தார் என எண்ணுகிறேன்.  அந்த நிறுவனம் இந்தப் பெண்களின் வாழ்க்கைக் கதையைத் தொகுத்து புத்தகமாக வெளியிடமுயன்றபோது அந்தப்பொறுப்பு என்னிடம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டது. அப்போது நான் நூற்றுக்கணக்கான பாலியல் தொழில் செய்யும் பெண்களோடு பேசி, கண்டுகொண்டது, விருப்பத்தோடு இந்தச் செயலில் ஈடுபடுபவர்கள் வெகுசிலர்தான். மற்றவர்கள் அவர்கள் வளர்ந்த சுற்றுச்சூழல், குடும்பச் சூழ்நிலை காரணமாக இந்தத் தொழிலில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளனர் என்பதே. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இன்று தியான வசனத்தில் குறிப்பிடப்படும் ராகாப் என்பவளும் அப்படிப்பட்டவள்தான். அவள் பாலியல் தொழிலில் ஈடுபட்டிருந்தபோதும் கர்த்தரையும் அவரது வல்லமையையும் உணர்ந்திருந்தாள். இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களில் பலர் விசுவாசித்ததைவிட அதிகமாக கர்த்தர் எரிகோவை இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கு நிச்சயமாகக் கொடுப்பார் என்பதை அவள் விசுவாசித்தாள். மட்டுமல்ல,  ".........உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரே உயர வானத்திலும் கீழே பூமியிலும் தேவனானவர்." ( யோசுவா 2:11) என்று தனது விசுவாசத்தை அறிக்கையிட்டாள். 

எனவேதான் எபிரெய நிருப ஆசிரியர் அவளை விசுவாசிகளின் பட்டியலில் சேர்த்துள்ளார். இதனையே நாம், "விசுவாசத்தினாலே ராகாப் என்னும் வேசி வேவுக்காரரைச் சமாதானத்தோடே ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு, கீழ்ப்படியாதவர்களோடேகூடச் சேதமாகாதிருந்தாள்." என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, எனவே நாம் பாவிகள் என்று  யாரையும் அற்பமாக எண்ணவேண்டாம். இந்தச் சமுதாயத்தில் நல்லவர்கள் என்று பெயர்பெற்றவர்கள், போதகர்கள், கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு ஊழியம் செய்கிறேன் என்று கூறிக்கொள்ளும்  பலர் ரகசிய பாவங்களில் விழுந்து கிடக்கின்றனர். ஆனால் அவர்களை சமுதாயம் உயர்வாகக் கருதுகின்றது. இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களிடையேயும் இப்படிப்பட்ட எண்ணமே இருந்தது. எனவேதான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து அவர்களிடம் கூறினார், ".........ஆயக்காரரும் வேசிகளும் உங்களுக்கு முன்னே தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் பிரவேசிக்கிறார்கள் என்று, மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்." ( மத்தேயு 21: 31)

எத்தகைய கொடிய பாவத்தில் விழுந்திருந்தாலும் தேவனிடம் முழு இருதயத்தோடு மன்னிப்பை வேண்டுவோம். மன்னிப்பதற்கு அவர் தயை மிகுந்தவராகவே இருக்கிறார். "துன்மார்க்கன் தன் வழியையும், அக்கிரமக்காரன் தன் நினைவுகளையும் விட்டு, கர்த்தரிடத்தில் திரும்பக்கடவன்; அவர் அவன்மேல் மனதுருகுவார்; நம்முடைய தேவனிடத்திற்கே திரும்பக்கடவன்; அவர் மன்னிக்கிறதற்குத் தயை பெருத்திருக்கிறார்." (ஏசாயா 55;7)

"By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace." (Hebrews 11:31, KJV)

The Jewish society often marginalized tax collectors and sex workers, labelling them as sinners and hesitating to associate with them. However, when they repent, they too become pleasing to God. This is why Jesus Christ praised Zacchaeus, saying, "This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham" (Luke 19:9, KJV). He also forgave the woman caught in adultery. Yes, beloved, "For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost" (Luke 19:10, KJV).

Often, we refer to women engaged in sex work with derogatory terms like "harlots." But when we interact with them, we find that they are much like ordinary women in many ways. They pray, give alms, participate in worship, and perform acts of compassion.

When I worked for a charitable organization, I had the opportunity to interact with such women. I believe God gave me this opportunity to understand His truths better. When that organization attempted to compile their life stories into a book, the responsibility was entrusted to me. During this time, I spoke with hundreds of women in the sex trade and realized that only a few willingly chose this profession. Most were driven into it due to their upbringing, family circumstances, or environment.

Yes, beloved, Rahab, mentioned in today’s meditation verse, was one such woman. Though she was engaged in sex work, she recognized the Lord and His power. She believed more firmly than many Israelites that the Lord would surely give Jericho to His people. Moreover, she declared her faith, saying, "...the Lord your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath" (Joshua 2:11, KJV).

This is why the author of Hebrews included her in the list of the faithful. As we read, "By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace."

Beloved, let us not look down on anyone as sinners. In this society, many who are considered righteous, preachers, or those who claim to serve Christ are secretly entangled in sin. Yet, society holds them in high regard. This was also the mindset among the Israelites. This is why Jesus Christ told them, "...Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you" (Matthew 21:31, KJV).

No matter how grievous our sins, let us seek forgiveness from God with a sincere heart. He is abundant in mercy. "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon" (Isaiah 55:7, KJV).

❤️Meditation verse - யாக்கோபு 4:1 / James 4:1

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,494    

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 10, 2025. 💚திங்கள்கிழமை  

"உங்களுக்குள்ளே யுத்தங்களும் சண்டைகளும் எதனாலே வருகின்றன; உங்கள் அவயவங்களின்  போர்செய்கிற இச்சைகளினாலல்லவா?" (யாக்கோபு 4;1)

இந்த உலகத்தில் மனிதர்களுக்குள் சண்டைகள், குடும்பங்களுக்குள் பிளவுகள், நாடுகளுக்கிடையே போர்கள் இவை ஏற்படக் காரணம்  மனிதர்களின் உடலிலுள்ள போர்ச்செய்கின்ற இச்சைகளினால் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. அதாவது மனித உடலின் ஒவ்வொரு அவயவமும் இந்த இச்சை எனும் வெறியினால் நிறைந்திருப்பதால்தான் இவை ஏற்படுகின்றன என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, அடுத்தவன் வைத்திருக்கும் சொத்து சுகங்கள் அல்லது பதவிகள் தனக்கும் வேண்டும் எனும் இச்சையானது  தனக்கு அவை கிடைக்கவில்லை எனும்போது பொறாமையாக மாறுகின்றது. இது மனிதர்களுக்குள் சண்டையை, பகையை ஏன் கொலையையே ஏற்படுத்துகின்றது.   

உலகின் முதல் கொலை பொறாமையினால்தான் உண்டானது. காயினும் ஆபேலும் தேவனுக்குப் பலி செலுத்தும்போது தேவன் காயீனின் பலியினை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லை. "காயீனையும் அவன் காணிக்கையையும் அவர் அங்கிகரிக்கவில்லை. அப்பொழுது காயீனுக்கு மிகவும் எரிச்சல் உண்டாகி, அவன் முகநாடி வேறுபட்டது." ( ஆதியாகமம் 4: 5) இதுவே அவன் தனது சகோதரனைக் கொலைசெய்யக் காரணமாயிற்று. 

நமது அவயவங்களின் இந்த போர்புரிகின்ற இச்சை மாறும்போது மட்டுமே பரிசுத்தமானவர்களாக வாழமுடியும்; நாம் குடும்பத்திலும் நாட்டிலும் உலகத்திலும் சமாதானத்தைக் காணமுடியும். சமீபத்தில் அமெரிக்க அதிபர் டொனால்டு ட்ரம்ப் உக்ரைன் அதிபர் செலென்ஸ்கி இடையே நடைபெற்ற பேச்சுவார்த்தையினை பலரும் வீடியோ காட்சியாகப் பார்த்திருக்கலாம் அல்லது செய்தியாக வாசித்திருக்கலாம். அமெரிக்க அதிபரின் போர்புரியும்  இச்சையினை இது தெளிவாக நமக்குக் காண்பித்தது. 

நமது உடலை நாம் பரிசுத்தத்துக்கு ஒப்புக் கொடுக்கும்போது மட்டுமே இத்தகைய  எண்ணங்கள் மனிதனிலிருந்து மறையும். இதனாலேயே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "உங்கள் மாம்ச பலவீனத்தினிமித்தம் மனுஷர் பேசுகிறபிரகாரமாய்ப் பேசுகிறேன். அக்கிரமத்தை நடப்பிக்கும்படி முன்னே நீங்கள் உங்கள் அவயவங்களை அசுத்தத்திற்கும் அக்கிரமத்திற்கும் அடிமைகளாக ஒப்புக்கொடுத்ததுபோல, இப்பொழுது பரிசுத்தமானதை நடப்பிக்கும்படி உங்கள் அவயவங்களை நீதிக்கு அடிமையாக ஒப்புக்கொடுங்கள்" ( ரோமர் 6: 19) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

தனி மனித வாழ்விலும் நம்மோடு போர்ச்செய்கின்ற இச்சை குணங்கள் நம்மை பாவத்துக்கு நேராக இழுத்துச் செல்கின்றன. "ஆகையால், விபசாரம், அசுத்தம், மோகம், துர்யிச்சை, விக்கிரகாராதனையான பொருளாசை ஆகிய இவைகளைப் பூமியில் உண்டுபண்ணுகிற உங்கள் அவயவங்களை அழித்துப்போடுங்கள்." ( கொலோசெயர் 3: 5) என்று வேதம் நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது. 

"உன் வலதுகண் உனக்கு இடறலுண்டாக்கினால், அதைப் பிடுங்கி எறிந்துபோடு; உன் சரீரம் முழுவதும் நரகத்தில் தள்ளப்படுவதைப்பார்க்கிலும், உன் அவயவங்களில் ஒன்று கெட்டுப்போவது உனக்கு நலமாயிருக்கும்." ( மத்தேயு 5: 29) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறவில்லையா? 

எனவே  குடும்பத்தில் சமாதானமும் நமக்குள்ளே யுத்தங்களும் சண்டைகளும் வராமலும் இருக்கவேண்டுமானால் நமது  அவயவங்களில் போர்செய்கிற இச்சைகள் ஒழிக்கப்படவேண்டியது அவசியம். பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவருக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து வாழும்போது மட்டுமே அது சாத்தியமாகும். எனவே ஆவியானவரின் வழிநடத்துதலுக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து ஜெபிப்போம். பூரண சமாதானம் நம்மிலும், குடும்பத்திலும், நாட்டிலும் உலகத்திலும் அப்போது மட்டுமே சாத்தியமாகும்.

"From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?" (James 4:1, KJV)

Today’s meditation verse tells us that the conflicts among people, divisions in families, and wars between nations arise because of the lusts that wage war within the human body. In other words, every part of the human body is filled with this raging desire, which is the root cause of such strife.

Yes, dear friends, the desire for another’s possessions, comforts, or positions turns into envy when one fails to attain them. This envy leads to quarrels, hatred, and even murder among people.

The first murder in the world was caused by envy. When Cain and Abel offered sacrifices to God, God did not accept Cain’s offering. "But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell." (Genesis 4:5, KJV). This became the reason for Cain to kill his brother Abel.

Only when the lusts that wage war within our members are transformed can we live as holy people and experience peace in our families, nations, and the world. Recently, many may have watched or read about the conversation between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky. This clearly revealed the warring desires within the U.S. President.

Only when we surrender our bodies to holiness can such thoughts disappear from us. This is why the Apostle Paul says, "I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness." (Romans 6:19, KJV).

In our personal lives, the warring desires within us draw us into sin. The Scripture admonishes us, "Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry." (Colossians 3:5, KJV).

Did not Jesus Christ say, "And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell." (Matthew 5:29, KJV)?

Therefore, to have peace in our families and to avoid conflicts and quarrels within us, it is essential to eliminate the warring desires within our members. This is only possible when we surrender ourselves to the Holy Spirit. Let us surrender ourselves to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and pray. Only then can complete peace be possible within us, in our families, in our nation, and in the world.

❤️Meditation verse - லுூக்கா 11: 34 / Luke 11:34

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,493    

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 09, 2025. 💚ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை  

"கண்ணானது சரீரத்தின் விளக்காயிருக்கிறது; உன் கண் தெளிவாயிருந்தால், உன் சரீரமுழுவதும் வெளிச்சமாயிருக்கும்; உன் கண் கெட்டதாயிருந்தால் உன் சரீரம் முழுவதும் இருளாயிருக்கும்." ( லுூக்கா 11: 34)

ஒரு மனிதனுக்கு கண்ணானது மிக முக்கிய உறுப்பாகும். கண்ணை நாம் இழப்போமானால் வாழ்வே இருளாகிவிடும். மற்றவர்களின் உதவியின்றி நம்மால் எந்தச் செயலையும் செய்யமுடியாது. இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து வெறும் உலக பொருளில் இந்த வசனத்தைக் கூறாமல் ஆவிக்குரிய பொருளில் கூறுகின்றார்.  

கண்கள், விளக்கு, வெளிச்சம், இருள் என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறும் வார்த்தைகள்  உருவக வார்த்தைகளாகும். அதாவது வேத சத்தியங்களை கூர்ந்து பார்க்கும் அறிவாகிய கண்கள், அந்த சத்தியங்களை அறிந்துகொண்ட அறிவாகிய விளக்கு, அதன்மூலம் நாம் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளும் மனத்தெளிவாகிய வெளிச்சம், இவைகள் எதுவுமற்ற மனத்தின் இருள் இவைகளையே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து குறிப்பிடுகின்றார்.  

தேவனது வார்த்தைகளைக் கவனித்துப்பார்கும்படி நமது கண்ணானது தெளிவாக இருக்குமானால் நமது உடலானது பாவக்கறையின்றி முழுவதும் வெளிச்சமாக இருக்கும். காரணம் தேவனது வார்த்தைகள் நம்மைத் தெளிவான பாதையில் நடத்திடும். "உம்முடைய வசனம் என் கால்களுக்குத் தீபமும், என் பாதைக்கு வெளிச்சமுமாயிருக்கிறது." ( சங்கீதம் 119: 105) என்று சங்கீத ஆசிரியர் கூறுகின்றார். 

இப்படி நமது கண்கள் தேவனது வார்த்தைகளைத் தெளிவாகக் கண்டுகொண்டு அவரது வார்த்தையின்படி நாம் நடப்போமானால் நமது உடலானது முற்றிலும் ஒளிபொருந்தியதாக இருக்கும். இருளான இடத்தில் ஒரே  ஒரு விளக்கு இருந்தாலும் அது தனது ஒளியால் மற்றவர்களுக்கு உதவியாக ஒளிகொடுத்து உதவுவதுபோல இருளான மக்கள் மத்தியில் ஒளியுடன் வாழும் மெய்யான கிறிஸ்தவனும் இருப்பான். இதனை, "உன் சரீரம் ஒருபுறத்திலும் இருளடைந்திராமல் முழுவதும் வெளிச்சமாயிருந்தால், ஒரு விளக்கு தன் பிரகாசத்தினாலே உனக்கு வெளிச்சம் கொடுக்கிறதுபோல உன் சரீரமுழுவதும் வெளிச்சமாயிருக்கும்" ( லுூக்கா 11: 36) என்றார் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. 

இதனால்தான் அப்படி வாழ்பவர்களை இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "நீங்கள் உலகத்துக்கு வெளிச்சமாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்; மலையின்மேல் இருக்கிற பட்டணம் மறைந்திருக்கமாட்டாது." ( மத்தேயு 5: 14) என்றார். 

இதற்கு மாறாக தேவ வார்த்தைகளை கண்டுகொள்ளாமல் புறக்கணிப்போமானால் நமது கண்கள் கெட்டுப்போய்விட்டன என்று பொருள்.  இப்படி நமது கண் கெட்டதாயிருந்தால் நமது சரீரம் முழுவதும் பாவத்தில் மூழ்கி இருளாயிருக்கும். "உன் கண் கெட்டதாயிருந்தால், உன் சரீரம் முழுவதும் இருளாயிருக்கும்; இப்படி உன்னிலுள்ள வெளிச்சம் இருளாயிருந்தால், அவ்விருள் எவ்வளவு அதிகமாயிருக்கும்!"  (மத்தேயு 6:23) 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, "கிறிஸ்துவை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு வாழும் நீங்களெல்லாரும் வெளிச்சத்தின் பிள்ளைகளும், பகலின் பிள்ளைகளுமாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்; நாம் இரவுக்கும் இருளுக்கும் உள்ளானவர்களல்லவே."  (1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 5:5)    என்கிறார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல். எனவே தெளிந்த புத்தியுள்ளவர்களாக இருந்து இருள் நம்மைப் பற்றிக்கொள்ளாமல் வெளிச்சத்தின் பிள்ளைகளாக வாழ்வோம்.

"The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness." (Luke 11:34, KJV)

The eye is one of the most vital organs for a human being. If we lose our eyesight, our life becomes filled with darkness. Without the help of others, we would be unable to perform even the simplest tasks. In today’s meditation verse, the Lord Jesus Christ is not speaking merely about the physical eye but is addressing a spiritual truth.

The words used by Jesus—eyes, lamp, light, and darkness—are metaphorical. They refer to the spiritual understanding of God’s truths. The "eyes" symbolize the discernment to perceive divine truths, the "lamp" represents the knowledge of those truths, the "light" signifies the clarity and enlightenment gained from them, and the "darkness" denotes the absence of such understanding.

If our eyes are clear and focused on God’s Word, our whole body will be free from sin and filled with light. This is because God’s Word guides us on the right path. As the Psalmist says, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Psalm 119:105, KJV)

When our eyes are fixed on God’s Word and we walk according to His teachings, our entire being will be filled with light. Just as a single lamp in a dark place can provide light and help to others, a true Christian who lives in the light will shine among those in darkness. As Jesus said, "If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light." (Luke 11:36, KJV)

This is why Jesus calls such people, "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid." (Matthew 5:14, KJV)

On the contrary, if we neglect God’s Word and fail to perceive its truths, our eyes become spiritually blind. If our eyes are evil, our whole body will be plunged into the darkness of sin. "But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!" (Matthew 6:23, KJV)

Yes, dear friends, "Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness." (1 Thessalonians 5:5, KJV), says the Apostle Paul. Therefore, let us be sober-minded and live as children of light, ensuring that darkness does not overtake us.

❤️Meditation verse - உபாகமம் 28: 1 / Deuteronomy 28:1

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,492    

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 08, 2025. 💚சனிக்கிழமை 

"இன்று நான் உனக்கு விதிக்கிற உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய கட்டளைகளின்படியெல்லாம் செய்ய நீ கவனமாயிருக்கும்படிக்கு, அவர் சத்தத்திற்கு உண்மையாய்ச் செவிகொடுப்பாயானால், உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் பூமியிலுள்ள சகல ஜாதிகளிலும் உன்னை மேன்மையாக வைப்பார்." ( உபாகமம் 28 : 1 )

வேதாகமத்தில் ஆயிரக்கணக்கான தேவ வாக்குறுதிகள் உள்ளன. ஆனால் நாம் எந்த வாக்குறுதியை எடுத்துக்கொண்டாலும் ஒரு நிபந்தனையுடன்தான் இருக்கும். கிறிஸ்தவர்களில் பலரும்  பொதுவாக இந்த நிபந்தனைகளைக் கவனிப்பதில்லை. மாறாக, "தேவன் இப்படி வாக்களித்துள்ளார், எனவே எனக்கு இந்த வாக்குறுதியின்படிச் செய்து முடிப்பார்" என்று கூறிக்கொள்கின்றனர்.  கிளிப்பிள்ளைகள்போல இந்த வாக்குறுதிகளைச் சொல்லிச் சொல்லி  ஜெபிக்கின்றனர்.  

பல்வேறு விஞ்ஞான விதிகள் எப்படிச் சில நிபந்தனைகளுடன் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளதோ  அப்படியே தேவனும் சில நிபந்தனைகள் வைத்தே வாக்குறுதிகளைக் கொடுத்துள்ளார்.  விஞ்ஞானம் கூறும் நிபந்தனைகளைக் கவனிக்காமல் நாம் செயல்பட்டால் அவை கூறும் விளைவுகளை எப்படி அனுபவிக்கமுடியாதோ அதுபோலவே தேவன் கூறும் நிபந்தனைகளை நாம் கைக்கொள்ளாமல் இருப்போமானால் அந்த வாக்குத்தத்தங்கள் கூறுபவை நமது வாழ்வில் பலிக்காது. 

உதாரணமாக, தண்ணீரின் வேதியியல் சூத்திரம், H2O, ஒவ்வொரு மூலக்கூறிலும் ஒரு ஆக்ஸிஜன் மற்றும் இரண்டு ஹைட்ரஜன் அணுக்கள் இருப்பதை இது  குறிக்கிறது. இரண்டுபங்கு ஹைட்ரஜனும் ஒரு பங்கு ஆக்சிஜனும் இணையும்போது மட்டுமே நாம் தண்ணீரைப் பெறமுடியும்.  

இதுபோலவே, இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறப்பட்டுள்ள உபாகமம் 28 ஆம் அதிகாரத்தில் பல ஆசீர்வாதமான வாக்குத்தத்தங்கள் உள்ளன. ஆனால் அந்த வாக்குத்தத்தங்களை நாம் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ள என்ன செய்யவேண்டும் என்பதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. அதாவது,  "உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய கட்டளைகளின்படியெல்லாம் செய்ய நீ கவனமாயிருக்கும்படிக்கு, அவர் சத்தத்திற்கு உண்மையாய்ச் செவிகொடுப்பாயானால்" என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதுவே அந்த நிபந்தனை. இந்த நிபந்தனையின்படி அவரது கட்டளைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து அவற்றை வாழ்வில் கடைப்பிடித்தால் இவை நமது வாழ்வில் பலிக்கும் என்று பொருள். 

இந்த உபாகம அதிகாரத்தில் தொடர்ந்து கூறப்பட்டுள்ள ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் 12. ஆனால் இவைகளின்படி நாம் செய்யாவிட்டால் என்ன நடக்கும் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ள சாபங்கள் 53. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் வேதாகம வாக்குத்தத்த வசனங்களை வாசிக்கும்போது தனியாக அந்த வசனங்களை மட்டும் வாசிக்காமல் அதன் முன்னும் பின்னும் கூறப்பட்டுள்ள காரியங்களையும் சேர்த்து வாசித்து வசனம் கூறும் உண்மையை உணர்ந்து கொள்ளவேண்டும். 

ஒருவேளை நம்மை வழிநடத்தியவர்கள் இந்த உண்மையை நமக்கு உணர்த்தாமல் இருந்திருக்கலாம். இதனால் நாம் அந்த வசனம் கூறும் ஆசீர்வாதங்களை சுதந்தரிக்க முடியாதவர்களாக இருந்திருக்கலாம். நமது தவறுகளை நாம் திருத்திக்கொள்ளும்போது தேவன் நம்மை ஆசீர்வதிக்கத் தயாராக இருக்கின்றார். அதனை நாம் வேதாகமத்தில் பின்வருமாறு வாசிக்கின்றோம்:- 

"உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடத்துக்கே திரும்பி, இன்று நான் உனக்குக் கற்பிக்கிறபடியெல்லாம், நீயும் உன் பிள்ளைகளும் உங்கள் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உங்கள் முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும் அவருடைய சத்தத்திற்குச் செவிகொடுத்தால், உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன் சிறையிருப்பைத் திருப்பி, உனக்கு இரங்கி, உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னைச் சிதற அடித்த எல்லா ஜனங்களிடத்திலும் இருக்கிற உன்னைத் திரும்பச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளுவார்." ( உபாகமம் 30: 2, 3)

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, வேதாகமத்தில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ள ஆசீர்வாத வாக்குத்தத்தங்களைக் கண்டு அவை எல்லாம் தேவனுடைய வாக்குறுதிகள் எனவே எனது வாழ்வில் அவை எனக்குப் பலிக்கும் என எண்ணிடாமல்,  தேவன் முன்வைத்துள்ள நிபந்தனைகளுக்கு முதலில் செவிகொடுப்போம்; அப்போது  அவை நமது வாழ்வில் பலிக்கும்.

"And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth." (Deuteronomy 28:1, KJV)

The Bible contains thousands of God's promises. However, every promise comes with a condition. Many Christians often overlook these conditions and instead say, "God has promised this, so He will fulfil it for me." They repeat these promises like parrots and pray accordingly.

Just as scientific laws are based on certain conditions, God has also set conditions for His promises. If we ignore the conditions of science, we cannot experience the results it predicts. Similarly, if we do not adhere to God's conditions, His promises will not bear fruit in our lives.

For example, the chemical formula of water, H2O, indicates that each molecule contains one oxygen atom and two hydrogen atoms. Only when two parts of hydrogen combine with one part of oxygen do we get water.

In the same way, today's meditation verse from Deuteronomy 28 contains many blessed promises. But to inherit these promises, we must fulfil the condition mentioned in the verse: "If thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments." This is the condition. If we listen to His commands and obey them in our lives, these promises will be fulfilled in us.

In this chapter of Deuteronomy, there are 12 blessings listed. However, if we fail to obey, there are 53 curses mentioned. Dear friends, when we read the promises in the Bible, we should not read them in isolation. Instead, we must read the surrounding verses to understand the full context and truth of what is being said.

Perhaps those who guided us did not explain this truth, which is why we may have struggled to inherit the blessings. But when we correct our mistakes, God is ready to bless us. As we read in the Bible:

"And shalt return unto the Lord thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; that then the Lord thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath scattered thee." (Deuteronomy 30:2-3, KJV)

Therefore, dear friends, let us not merely look at the blessings and promises in the Bible and assume they will automatically come true in our lives because they are God's promises. Instead, let us first heed the conditions God has set. Only then will these promises bear fruit in our lives.

❤️Meditation verse - 2 கொரிந்தியர் 10: 18 / 2 Corinthians 10:18

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,491    

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 07, 2025. 💚வெள்ளிக்கிழமை

"தன்னைத்தான் புகழுகிறவன் உத்தமனல்ல, கர்த்தரால் புகழப்படுகிறவனே உத்தமன்." (2 கொரிந்தியர் 10: 18)

தற்புகழ்ச்சியுள்ளவன் உத்தமனாக இருக்கமுடியாது என்பதே இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறும் உண்மையாக இருக்கின்றது. அதுபோல, மனிதர்களால் புகழப்படும் எல்லோரும் உத்தமர்களல்ல. காரணம் எல்லா மனிதர்களும் எப்போதும் ஒருவரைப் புகழ்வது கிடையாது. ஒருவரைப் புகழும் மனித வாய்களே அவரைச் சிலகாலம் கடந்தபின்னர்  இழவும் வாய்ப்புண்டு. ஆனால் கர்த்தர் ஒருவரைப் புகழ்ந்தால் புகழ்ந்ததுதான். எனவே,  கர்த்தரால் புகழப்படுகிறவனே உத்தமன் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

இந்த உலகத்தில் மனிதர்களால் புகழப்பட்ட பல தலைவர்கள் அழிந்துபோயினர்; இருந்த இடம்தெரியாமல் போய்விட்டனர். மேலும் அவர்கள் இறந்தபின்னர் அவர்களைப்பற்றிய அவலட்சணமான உண்மைகள் பல வெளியுலகுக்குத் தெரியவந்து இறந்தபின்னரும் அவமானம் அடைகின்றனர். ஆனால் இதற்கு மாறாக, தேவனால் புகழப்பட்ட மனிதர்களோ இன்றும் நமது முன்மாதிரிகளாக நிலைத்து நிற்கின்றனர். தேவனால் மகிமைப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளனர். 

கர்த்தரால் புகழப்பட்ட மனிதர்கள் பலர் வேதாகமத்தில் அடையாளம் காட்டப்பட்டுள்ளனர். மோசேயை, "தேவனுடைய நண்பன்" என்று தேவன் கூறினார்; தாவீதை, "தேவனுடைய இருதயத்துக்கு ஏற்றவர்" என்றார்; நோவா, "உத்தமனும் சன்மார்க்கனும், தேவனுக்குப் பயந்து பொல்லாப்புக்கு விலகுகிறவனும்" எனத் தேவனால்  புகழப்பட்டான்; "பிரியமான புருஷனாகிய தானியேல்" என்று தானியேலை தேவன் அழைத்தார். அன்னை மரியாளை, "கிருபை பெற்றவள்" என்றும் "பெண்களுக்குள்ளே ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவள்" என்றும் தேவன் கூறினார். ஆனால் இவர்கள் வாழ்ந்தபோது இந்த உலகத்தில் பலர் இவர்களுக்கு எதிராகவே செயல்பட்டனர். 

தனக்கு ஏற்புடைய வாழ்க்கை வாழும் ஒருவரைத் தேவன் எவ்வளவு அதிகமாய் உயர்த்துகின்றாரோ அதுபோல பெருமைகொண்டவரை அவர் தாழ்த்தவும் செய்கின்றார். தற்புகழ்ச்சி பெருமையின் வெளிப்பாடு. பெருமையுள்ளவர்களுக்குத் தேவன் எப்போதும் எதிராகவே இருக்கின்றார். "அவர் அதிகமான கிருபையை அளிக்கிறாரே. ஆதலால் தேவன் பெருமையுள்ளவர்களுக்கு எதிர்த்து நிற்கிறார், தாழ்மையுள்ளவர்களுக்கோ கிருபை அளிக்கிறாரென்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறது." ( யாக்கோபு 4: 6) 

ஆதியில் தேவனுடைய சந்நிதானத்திலிருந்து சாத்தான் தள்ளப்பட பெருமையே காரணமாக இருந்தது. அழகும் ஒளியும் கொண்ட லூசிபர் எனும் தேவதூதன் பெருமை கொண்டு தன்னைத்  தேவனுக்கு நிகராக உயர்த்தப் பார்த்தான். அதனை அவன் வெளியே சொல்லவில்லை; மாறாக மனதில்தான் எண்ணினான். ஆனால் அந்த எண்ணத்தை அறிந்த தேவன் அவனைப் பிசாசாகப் பாதாளத்தில் தள்ளினார். இதனை நாம் வேதாகமத்தில் பின்வருமாறு வாசிக்கின்றோம்:- 

"அதிகாலையின் மகனாகிய விடிவெள்ளியே, நீ வானத்திலிருந்து விழுந்தாயே! ஜாதிகளை ஈனப்படுத்தினவனே, நீ தரையிலே விழ வெட்டப்பட்டாயே! நான் வானத்துக்கு ஏறுவேன், தேவனுடைய நட்சத்திரங்களுக்கு மேலாக என் சிங்காசனத்தை உயர்த்துவேன்; வடபுறங்களிலுள்ள ஆராதனைக் கூட்டத்தின் பர்வதத்திலே வீற்றிருப்பேன் என்றும், நான் மேகங்களுக்கு மேலாக உன்னதங்களில் ஏறுவேன்; உன்னதமானவருக்கு ஒப்பாவேன் என்றும் நீ உன் இருதயத்தில் சொன்னாயே. ஆனாலும் நீ அகாதமான பாதாளத்திலே தள்ளுண்டுபோனாய்." ( ஏசாயா 14: 12 - 15)

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தற்பெருமை எனும் குணம் நமக்கு இருக்குமானால் இதுவே நமது முடிவாகவும் இருக்கும். எனவேதான் இவை  பதிவுசெய்யப்பட்டு நமது நன்மைக்காக வேதாகமத்தில் பொறிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. எனவே நமது செயல்களையும் நமது வாழ்க்கையையும் பிறர் புகழவேண்டும் எனும் எதிர்பார்ப்போடு நாம் வாழாமல் தேவனது கண்களுக்குமுன் புகழ்ச்சி பெறும் வகையில் வாழ அழைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம்.  எப்போதும் தேவனையே நமது கண்முன்கொண்டு செயல்படுவோம். 

"தன்னைத்தான் புகழுகிறவன் உத்தமனல்ல, கர்த்தரால் புகழப்படுகிறவனே உத்தமன்." எனும் மெய்யான தேவ வார்த்தைகளை எச்சரிக்கையாக மனதினில் கொண்டு தாழ்மையான வாழ்க்கைவாழ நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம்.

"For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth." (2 Corinthians 10:18, KJV)

Today’s meditation verse reminds us that a person who praises himself cannot be considered upright. Similarly, not all who are praised by men are truly upright. The reason is that not all people will always praise someone. The same mouths that praise a person today may later speak ill of them. However, if the Lord praises someone, it is genuine and lasting. Therefore, today’s meditation verse declares that the one whom the Lord commends is truly upright.

In this world, many leaders who were praised by men have perished and vanished without a trace. Moreover, after their death, shameful truths about them often come to light, bringing them disgrace even in their absence. On the contrary, those whom God has praised remain as our role models to this day. They are glorified by God.

The Bible identifies many individuals whom the Lord commended. God called Moses "His friend"; He described David as "a man after His own heart"; Noah was praised as "a just man and perfect in his generations, and one who walked with God"; Daniel was referred to as "a man greatly beloved"; and the Virgin Mary was called "highly favoured" and "blessed among women." Yet, during their lifetimes, many in this world opposed them.

The more God exalts a person who lives a life pleasing to Him, the more He humbles the proud. Self-praise is a manifestation of pride, and God always opposes the proud. "But He giveth more grace. Wherefore He saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble." (James 4:6, KJV)

In the beginning, pride was the reason Satan was cast out of God’s presence. Lucifer, the angel of light and beauty, became proud and sought to exalt himself to be like God. He did not voice this outwardly but harboured it in his heart. Yet, God, who knows the thoughts of the heart, cast him down to hell as a devil. We read this in the Bible as follows:

"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit." (Isaiah 14:12-15, KJV)

Yes, dear ones, if we possess the trait of self-exaltation, it will lead to our downfall. This is why these truths are recorded in the Bible for our benefit. Therefore, let us not live with the expectation of receiving praise from others but strive to live in a way that earns commendation from God. Let us always keep God before our eyes and act accordingly.

Let us take to heart the true words of God: "For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth," and commit ourselves to live a life of humility.

❤️Meditation verse - உபாகமம் 10: 17 / Deuteronomy 10:17

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,490    

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 06, 2025. 💚வியாழக்கிழமை  

"உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் தேவாதி தேவனும், கர்த்தாதி கர்த்தரும், மகத்துவமும் வல்லமையும் பயங்கரமுமான தேவனுமாயிருக்கிறார்; அவர் பட்சபாதம்பண்ணுகிறவரும் அல்ல, பரிதானம் வாங்குகிறவரும் அல்ல." ( உபாகமம் 10: 17)

நமது தேவன் இரக்கமுள்ளவர், அன்புள்ளவர் என்று நாம் கூறுகின்றோம் ஆனால் அவர் பயங்கரமான தேவனுமாயிருக்கிறார். "நம்முடைய தேவன் பட்சிக்கிற அக்கினியாயிருக்கிறாரே." ( எபிரெயர் 12: 29) என்று தேவனது குணத்தைப்பற்றி வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே இன்றைய தியான வசனமானது தேவனது நியாயத்தீர்ப்பைக் குறித்துக்  கூறுகின்றது. நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு நாளில் அவருக்குக் கையூட்டுக்கொடுத்து நாம் தப்பிவிடமுடியாது என்று நம்மை இந்த வசனம் எச்சரிக்கின்றது. 

இந்த உலகத்தில் பலரும் தேவனைத் தங்களைப்போன்ற மனித குணம் கொண்ட ஒருவராக எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். இதனால் மனிதர்கள் தேவனுக்கு ஆராதனை என்று செய்யும் பல காரியங்கள் இத்தகைய மனித எண்ணத்தின் விளைவுகளாகவே இருக்கின்றன. நாம் தேவனையும் அவரது குணங்களையும் முற்றிலும் புரிந்துகொள்ள முடியாது.  தேவன் மனிதர்களைத் தனது சாயலிலும் ரூபத்திலும் உண்டாக்கியிருந்தாலும் அவர் மனிதர்களைப்போல அற்பமான காரியங்களுக்கு மயங்குகிறவரல்ல; வெற்று ஆராதனைகளுக்கு மயங்குபவரல்ல. இவைகளைவிட மனத் தாழ்மை, உள்ளத்தூய்மை இவைகளையே  தேவன் விரும்புகின்றார் என்பதே உண்மை. 

தேவன் படைத்த இந்த அண்டசராசரங்களைப் புரிந்துகொள்ளவே  இன்னும் மனிதர்களால் முடியவில்லை. நமது காலடியில் இருக்கும் பூமிக்கு அடியில் இருக்கும் காரியங்களையும் கடலின் ஆழத்தில் உள்ள அதிசயங்களையும் மனிதனால் இன்னும் முழுவதும் கண்டறியமுடியவில்லை. ஆம், சர்வ வல்லவரான அவரது அறிவு ஞானம் இவை அளவிடமுடியாதவை. "ஆ! தேவனுடைய ஐசுவரியம், ஞானம், அறிவு என்பவைகளின் ஆழம் எவ்வளவாயிருக்கிறது! அவருடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் அளவிடப்படாதவைகள், அவருடைய வழிகள் ஆராயப்படாதவைகள்!" ( ரோமர் 11: 33) என்று வியந்து கூறுகின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல்.

இதுபோலவே, அவருடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் அளவிடப்படாதவைகள். அவர் நியாயம் தீர்க்கும்போது  "நீதியின்படி ஏழைகளை நியாயம்விசாரித்து, யதார்த்தத்தின்படி பூமியிலுள்ள சிறுமையானவர்களுக்குத் தீர்ப்புச்செய்து, பூமியைத் தமது வாக்கின் கோலால் அடித்து, தமது வாயின் சுவாசத்தால் துன்மார்க்கரைச் சங்கரிப்பார்." ( ஏசாயா 11: 4) இந்த உலகத்திலுள்ள துன்மார்க்க நீதிபதிகளுக்கு லஞ்சம் கொடுத்துத் தப்புவதுபோல அவருக்கு நாம் கையூட்டுக் கொடுத்துத்  தப்பி ஓடமுடியாது. அரசியல் பலத்தினால் காவல்துறைக்குத் தப்பி ஒழிந்துகொள்வதுபோல ஒழிந்துகொள்ள முடியாது. 

"நான் வானத்திற்கு ஏறினாலும், நீர் அங்கே இருக்கிறீர்; நான் பாதாளத்தில் படுக்கை போட்டாலும், நீர் அங்கேயும் இருக்கிறீர். நான் விடியற்காலத்துச் செட்டைகளை எடுத்து, சமுத்திரத்தின் கடையாந்தரங்களிலே போய்த் தங்கினாலும், அங்கேயும் உமது கை என்னை நடத்தும், உமது வலதுகரம் என்னைப் பிடிக்கும்." ( சங்கீதம் 139: 8 -10) என்று அவரது வல்லமையினை உணர்ந்துகொண்ட பக்தன் கூறுகின்றான்.  

எனவேதான் நாம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்த நீதியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழவேண்டியது அவசியமாயிருக்கிறது. அவர் பட்சபாதம்பண்ணுகிறவரும் அல்ல, பரிதானம் வாங்குகிறவரும் அல்ல. இந்த உண்மையினை நன்றாக உணர்ந்ததால் சங்கீத ஆசிரியர் கூறுகின்றார், "உமது நீதியான நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளினிமித்தம், உம்மைத் துதிக்கும்படி பாதிராத்திரியில் எழுந்திருப்பேன்." ( சங்கீதம் 119: 62) அதாவது தேவனுக்கு விரோதமான பாவம் ஏதாவது செய்திருப்போமோ எனும் பயத்தால் நடு இராத்திரியில் எழுந்து தேவனைத்  துதித்து மன்னிப்பை வேண்டுவேன் என்கின்றார் சங்கீத ஆசிரியர். 

"உமக்குப் பயப்படும் பயத்தால் என் உடம்பு சிலிர்க்கிறது; உமது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளுக்குப் பயப்படுகிறேன்." ( சங்கீதம் 119: 120) இத்தகைய பயம் நமக்கு இருக்குமானால் மட்டுமே நாம் நீதியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழமுடியும். இல்லாவிட்டால் துன்மார்க்க மனிதர்கள் கூறுவதுபோல "நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு நாளில்  எல்லாம் பார்த்துக்கொள்ளலாம்" என்றுகூறி நமது துன்மார்க்கத்திலேயே தொடர்ந்து வாழ்ந்து அழிவோம்.

Scripture Meditation - No. 1,490 

AATHAVAN 💚 March 06, 2025 💚 Thursday

"For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, who regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward." (Deuteronomy 10:17, KJV)

We often speak of our God as merciful and loving, but He is also a fearsome God. "For our God is a consuming fire." (Hebrews 12:29, KJV) This verse describes the nature of God. Yes, dear ones, today’s meditation verse speaks about God’s judgment. On the day of judgment, we cannot bribe Him to escape, as this verse warns us.

In this world, many people think of God as having human-like qualities. As a result, many of the acts of worship performed by humans are influenced by such human reasoning. We cannot fully comprehend God or His nature. Although God created humans in His own image and likeness, He is not swayed by trivial matters like humans are, nor is He impressed by empty rituals. Instead, God desires humility and purity of heart.

Even today, humanity has not been able to fully understand the universe God created. The depths beneath our feet and the wonders of the ocean remain largely unexplored. Truly, His wisdom and knowledge are immeasurable. "O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!" (Romans 11:33, KJV) exclaims the apostle Paul in awe.

Similarly, His judgments are immeasurable. When He judges, "He shall judge the poor with righteousness, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and He shall smite the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips shall He slay the wicked." (Isaiah 11:4, KJV) Unlike corrupt judges in this world who can be bribed, we cannot bribe God to escape His judgment. Nor can we evade His justice through political power or influence.

"If I ascend up into heaven, Thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, Thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; even there shall Thy hand lead me, and Thy right hand shall hold me." (Psalm 139:8-10, KJV) These words are spoken by a devout soul who has come to understand God’s omnipresence and power.

Therefore, it is essential for us to live a righteous life in the fear of the Lord. He shows no partiality and accepts no bribes. Realizing this truth, the Psalmist says, "At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto Thee because of Thy righteous judgments." (Psalm 119:62, KJV) In other words, the Psalmist is saying that he will rise at midnight to praise God and seek forgiveness, fearing that he may have sinned against Him.

"My flesh trembleth for fear of Thee; and I am afraid of Thy judgments." (Psalm 119:120, KJV) Only if we have such fear can we live a righteous life. Otherwise, like the wicked, we might say, “We’ll deal with judgment when it comes,” and continue living in sin, leading to our destruction.
