நகைகள் அணிவது / WEARING JEWELS

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,076      💚 ஜனவரி 20, 2024 💚 சனிக்கிழமை 💚 

"அழியாத அலங்கரிப்பாயிருக்கிற சாந்தமும் அமைதலுமுள்ள ஆவியாகிய இருதயத்தில் மறைந்திருக்கிற குணமே உங்களுக்கு அலங்காரமாயிருக்கக்கடவது; அதுவே தேவனுடைய பார்வையில் விலையேறப்பெற்றது." ( 1 பேதுரு 3 : 4 )

இருதயத்தில் மறைந்திருக்கும் நல்ல குணங்களே ஒரு மனிதனை அலங்கரிக்கும் என்று அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு கூறுகின்றார். சாந்தம், அமைதி போன்ற குணங்களே மெய்யான அலங்கரிப்பு. மட்டுமல்ல கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் பார்வையில் அதுவே விலையேறப்பெற்றது. 

ஆனால் சில கிறிஸ்தவ சபைகளில் சரியான புரிதலில்லாமல்  இந்த மெய்யான சத்தியம் திரிக்கப்பட்டு வெளி அலங்காரங்களைத் தவிர்த்தலே தேவனுடைய பார்வையில் மேலானது என்று போதிக்கப்படுகின்றது. காரணம், அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு இன்றைய வசனத்துக்கு முன்  நமது தெளிவுக்காக "மயிரைப் பின்னி, பொன்னாபரணங்களை அணிந்து, உயர்ந்த வஸ்திரங்களை உடுத்திக்கொள்ளுதலாகிய புறம்பான அலங்கரிப்பு உங்களுக்கு அலங்காரமாயிராமல்....." ( 1 பேதுரு 3 : 3 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார்.

அதாவது, தலையைப் பின்னுவது, பொன் நகைகளை அணிவது, நல்ல ஆடைகளை உடுத்துவது இது போன்றவை  அலங்கரிப்பாயிராமல் மேற்கூறிய நற்குணங்கள்  உங்கள் அலங்கரிப்பாக  இருக்கட்டும்  என்று கூறுகின்றார். இதன் மெய்யான பொருளை உணராததால் நகை அணியக்கூடாது, வெள்ளை ஆடைகளையே அணியவேண்டும்   எனும் தவறான போதனை சில கிறிஸ்தவ சபைகளில் கூறப்படுகின்றது.

தேவன் நமது உள்ளான மனதையும் இருதயத்தின்  தாழ்மையுமே பார்க்கின்றார். இத்தகைய இருதய தாழ்மை   ஒரு   மனிதனில் வரும்போது அவன் இயல்பிலேயே உலகம் பெருமையாகக் கருதும்  காரியங்களைத் தவிர்த்துவிடுவான். கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் மாற்றமடையும் அத்தகைய மனிதர்களுக்கு, நகை அணிவது தேவையில்லை என்று அவர்களது இருதயமே அதனைத் தவிர்க்கச் செய்யும். ஆனால் இருதய மாற்றமில்லாமல் வெறுமனே நகையைக் கழற்றுவதும் வெள்ளை ஆடை அணிவதும் மாய்மால கிறிஸ்தவனையே உருவாக்கும். 

அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு தொடர்ந்து, "இப்படியே பூர்வத்தில் தேவனிடத்தில் நம்பிக்கையாயிருந்த பரிசுத்த ஸ்திரீகளும் தங்களுடைய புருஷர்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து தங்களை அலங்கரித்தார்கள்." ( 1 பேதுரு 3 : 5 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். அதாவது அந்தப் பெண்கள் சாந்தம் இச்சையடக்கம் போன்ற குணங்களுள்ளவர்களாக இருந்தார்கள். தொடர்ந்து பேதுரு ஆபிரகாமின் மனைவி சாராளைக்குறித்து கூறுகின்றார். ஆபிரகாம் மிகப்பெரிய செல்வந்தன்தான்; சாராள் பொன் நகைகள் அணிந்தவள்தான். 

அன்பானவர்களே, வேத வசனங்களை உண்மையாக அவைகள் எழுதப்பட்ட நோக்கம் அறிந்து வாசித்து நாம் வாழ்வாக்க வேண்டும். வறட்டுத்தனமாக அர்த்தம் புரியாமல் நாம் அவற்றைக் கடைபிடிப்பது தேவனது பார்வையில் நம்மை மேலானவர்களாக மாற்றாது. மாய்மால போலி கிறிஸ்தவர்களாகவே நம்மை மாற்றிவிடும். இதுபோல வேதாகமத்தில் பல வசனங்கள் தவறுதலாகப் புரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டு போதனைகளாக போதிக்கப்படுகின்றன. ஆவியானவரின் வழிநடத்துதல் இருந்தால் நாம் சரியாக நடக்க முடியும்.

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,076 💚 January 20, 2024 💚 Saturday 💚

"But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price." ( 1 Peter 3 : 4 )

The apostle Peter says that it is the hidden good qualities of the heart that adorn a man. Qualities like meekness and peace are true adornment. Moreover, in the eyes of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is precious.

But in some Christian congregations, without proper understanding, this truth is distorted and it is taught that avoiding external decorations is superior in the eyes of God. The reason is that before today's verse, the Apostle Peter says for our clarity, "Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;" (1 Peter 3: 3)

That is, properly plaiting the hair, wearing gold jewellery, wearing nice clothes, etc., are not true adornment, instead he says, let the above virtues be your adornment. Because they do not realize the true meaning of this, the wrong teaching is being taught in some Christian churches that they should not wear jewellery and should wear white clothes.

God sees our innermost heart and humbleness of heart. When such humility of heart comes into a man, he naturally avoids the things which the world regards as pride. Such men who are converted into Christ will not need to wear jewellery; their hearts will avoid it. But simply removing jewellery and putting on white clothing without a change of heart will make a hypocritical Christian.

The apostle Peter continues, "For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:" (1 Peter 3: 5) In other words, those women had qualities like gentleness and self-control. Next, Peter talks about Sarah, Abraham's wife. Abraham was the richest man; Sarah wore gold jewellery.

Beloved, we should read and live the Bible verses truly knowing the purpose of which they were written. Simply following them without understanding their meaning does not make us superior in God's eyes. Hypocrisy will turn us into fake Christians. Similarly, many verses in the Bible are misinterpreted and taught as teachings. We can walk rightly if we have the guidance of the Spirit.
