 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,083    💚 ஜனவரி 27, 2024 💚 சனிக்கிழமை  💚 

"அவர் தமது வாயின் முத்தங்களால் என்னை முத்தமிடுவாராக: உமது நேசம் திராட்சரசத்தைப்பார்க்கிலும் இன்பமானது." ( உன்னதப்பாட்டு 1 : 2 )

நாம் ஏற்கெனவே பல தியானங்களில் பார்த்துள்ளபடி தேவனுக்கும் நமக்குமுள்ள உறவு மெய்யான காதல் உணர்வு போன்றதாக இருக்கவேண்டும். அந்த அன்புறவுக்குமுன் வேறு எதுவும் - எந்த உலக ஆசை எண்ணங்களும் - குறுக்கே நிற்க முடியாது. அப்படி இருக்குமானால் நாம் தேவனை மனதார நேசிக்கவில்லை என்று பொருள். உன்னதப்பாட்டு இந்த அனுபவத்தோடு எழுதப்பட்டதுதான்.

அவர் தமது வாயின் முத்தங்களால் என்னை முத்தமிடுவாராக: உமது நேசம் திராட்சரசத்தைப்பார்க்கிலும் இன்பமானது என்பது தேவ அன்பை ருசித்த மனிதன் அந்த ஆர்வத்தில் கூறும் வார்த்தைகள்தான்.   உன்னதப்பாட்டு ஆசிரியரின் அனுபவத்தை தாவீது ராஜாவும் அறிந்திருந்தார். எனவே, இப்படி தேவ அன்பை ருசித்து அனுபவித்த தாவீது நம்மையும் இந்த அனுபவத்தை ருசிக்க கூறுகின்றார். "கர்த்தர் நல்லவர் என்பதை ருசித்துப்பாருங்கள்; அவர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிருக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்." ( சங்கீதம் 34 : 8 ) ஆம், அவரை ருசித்துப் பார்ப்போமானால் அவர்மேல் விசுவாசமுள்ளவர்களாக இருப்போம். 

மட்டுமல்ல, கர்த்தரை உண்மையாய் அறிந்து ருசித்து அவருக்கேற்ப வாழும்போது நம்மில் கனியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை ஏற்படும். ஆவியின் கனிகள் நம்மில் செயல்பட நாம் கர்த்தர்மேல் மெய் அன்புள்ளவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். இப்படி தேவ அன்பை ருசித்து கனியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்த உன்னதப்பாடலாசிரியர் கர்த்தரை தன்னிடம் வந்து தன்னிடமுள்ள கனிகளை உண்ணுமாறு பின்வருமாறு அழைக்கின்றார்;-

"வாடையே! எழும்பு; தென்றலே! வா; கந்தப்பிசின்கள் வடிய என் தோட்டத்தில் வீசு; என் நேசர் தம்முடைய தோட்டத்துக்கு வந்து, தமது அருமையான கனிகளைப் புசிப்பாராக." ( உன்னதப்பாட்டு 4 : 16 )

"என் நேசர் தம்முடைய தோட்டத்துக்கு வந்து, தமது அருமையான கனிகளைப் புசிப்பாராக" என்று மேற்படி வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. வேதாகம அடிப்படையில், ஆவிக்குரிய மக்களாகிய நாம்தான் இஸ்ரவேலர்; நாம்தான் அவரது திராட்சைத் தோட்டம். இதனை நாம் ஏசாயா நூலில் வாசிக்கலாம்.   "சேனைகளின் கர்த்தருடைய திராட்சைத்தோட்டம் இஸ்ரவேலின் வம்சமே; அவருடைய மனமகிழ்ச்சியின் நாற்று யூதாவின் மனுஷரே" ( ஏசாயா 5 : 7 )

நாம் வெறும் வழிபாட்டுக் கிறிஸ்தவர்களாக இருப்போமானால் அவரது அன்பையோ அவரது உறவையே நாம் வாழ்வில் உணரமுடியாது. அவரை வாழ்வில் அனுபவிக்கும்போது தாவீது கூறுவதுபோல நமது வாழ்வில் அவரை ருசிக்கமுடியும். அந்த அனுபவம்தான் கிறிஸ்துவை மட்டுமே நாம் நேசிக்கத் தூண்டும். அப்போதுதான் நாம் கனியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ முடியும். மனத் தைரியத்தோடு "என் நேசர் தம்முடைய தோட்டத்துக்கு வந்து, தமது அருமையான கனிகளைப் புசிப்பாராக" என்று அவரை அழைக்க முடியும். 

அன்பானவர்களே, அவரது வாயின் முத்தங்களே நம்மை மேலான ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கை வாழ உதவுவதுடன் நாம் கனியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழவும் உதவும் என்பது  தெளிவாகின்றது. கர்த்தரை உண்மையான அன்புடன் பற்றிக்கொள்வோம்; அவருக்கேற்ப வாழ நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம். அப்போது உன்னதப்பாடல் ஆசிரியரின் அனுபவம் நமக்கும் கிடைக்கும். "உமது நேசம் திராட்சரசத்தைப்பார்க்கிலும் இன்பமானது." என்று நாமும் வாழ்க்கையில் அனுபவித்துக் கூற முடியும்.

                     LET HIM KISS ME 

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,083   💚 January 27, 2024 💚 Saturday💚

"Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine." (Song of Songs 1: 2)

As we have already seen in many meditations, our relationship with God should be like a true love feeling. Nothing else – no worldly desire thoughts – can stand in the way of that love. If that is not the case, it means that we are not loving God wholeheartedly. Song of Songs was written with this experience.

Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: Thy love is sweeter than wine are the words of the man who has tasted the love of God in that passion. King David also knew the experience of the author of Song of Songs. Therefore, David, who tasted God's love like this, tells us to taste this experience too. "O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him." (Psalms 34: 8) Yes, if we taste Him, we will be faithful to Him.

Not only that, when we truly know the Lord and live according to Him, we will have a fruitful life. For the fruits of the Spirit to work in us, we need to be true lovers of the Lord. Thus, the author of Song of songs, who lived a fruitful life tasting God's love, invites the Lord to come to him and eat the fruits he has as follows; -

"Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits." (Song of Songs 4: 16)

The above verse says, "Let my beloved come into his garden and eat his good fruits." Biblically, we, a spiritual people, are Israelites; We are his vineyard. We can read this in Isaiah. "For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant:" (Isaiah 5: 7)

If we are just worshiping Christians, we will never feel His love or His relationship in our lives. When we experience Him in life, we can taste Him in our lives as David says. It is that experience that makes us love Christ alone. Only then can we live a fruitful life. With courage we can call upon him, "Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat of his good fruit."

Beloved, the kisses of His mouth help us live a higher spiritual life and help us live a fruitful life. Let us cling to the Lord with true love; Let us commit ourselves to live according to Him. Then we will also get the experience of the author of Song of Songs, "Your love is sweeter than wine." We can also experience that in life.

மகிமையை அடையும்பொருட்டாக / OBTAINING THE GLORY

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,083       💚 ஜனவரி 26, 2024 💚 வெள்ளிக்கிழமை  💚 

"நீங்கள் நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் மகிமையை அடையும்பொருட்டாக எங்கள் சுவிசேஷத்தினாலே அந்த இரட்சிப்புக்கு அவர் உங்களை அழைத்தார்." ( 2 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 2 : 14 )

இந்த உலகத்தில் நாம் வாழ்ந்தாலும் இது நமது இறுதி இலக்கல்ல; மாறாக,  நாம் கிறிஸ்துவின் சுவிசேஷத்துக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து அதன்படி வாழ்ந்து நம்முடைய இரட்சகராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவைப்போல மகிமைக்குள் பிரவேசிக்கவேண்டும். அவரது மகிமையை நாம் பெறவேண்டும். அதற்கேற்றாற்போல இந்த உலகத்தில் வாழவேண்டும்.

சொத்து, புகழ், இந்த உலகத்து மகிமை இவைகளுக்காக நாம் உழைத்துக்கொண்டிருந்தால் அல்லது இவைகளையே நமது அன்றாட ஜெபங்களில் நாம் தேவனிடம் கேட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்தால்  ஒருவேளை அவைகளைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டாலும் நமது மறுவுலக வாழ்வு அழிவுக்குரியதாகவே இருக்கும்.  சுவிசேஷம் எழுதப்பட்டதன் நோக்கமே நாம் இரட்சிப்பு அனுபவம் பெற்று மகிமை வாழ்வை அடையவேண்டும் என்பதே. "அந்த இரட்சிப்புக்கு அவர் உங்களை அழைத்தார்." என்கின்றார் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர். 

அதற்கு நாம் என்ன செய்யவேண்டும்? "ஆகையால், சகோதரரே, நீங்கள் நிலைகொண்டு, வார்த்தையினாலாவது நிருபத்தினாலாவது நாங்கள் உங்களுக்கு உபதேசித்த முறைமைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுங்கள்." ( 2 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 2 : 15 ) என்கின்றார் பவுல். 

இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுவது, நாம் நமது அழைப்பின் நோக்கத்தைப் புரிந்துகொள்ளவேண்டும் என்பதே. பிற மதங்களுக்கும் கிறிஸ்தவ மார்க்கத்துக்குமுள்ள வேறுபாடு இதுதான். பிற மதங்கள், வழிபாடுகள், சம்பிரதாயங்கள் அனைத்தும் இந்த உலக ஆசீர்வாதத்துக்கான வழியைக் காட்டுகின்றன.  ஆனால் கிறிஸ்தவ மார்க்கம் (மதமல்ல) நித்திய ஜீவனுக்கான வழியினைக் காட்டுகின்றது. 

தேவனது வார்த்தைக்கு நாம் கொடுக்கும் முக்கியத்துவம்தான் மேலானதே தவிர  உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்கான வேண்டுதல்களல்ல. அன்று ஏதேனில்  ஆதாம் செய்த தவறையே இன்றுவரை மக்கள் செய்துகொண்டிருக்கின்றனர். தேவனது வார்த்தைகளைப்  புறக்கணித்த ஆதாமும் ஏவாளும் கண்களின் இச்சையில் விழுந்து  உலகப் பொருளுக்காக ஆர்வம்கொண்டனர்.  இன்றும் அதுபோலவே தேவனது வார்த்தைகள் புறக்கணிக்கப்படுகின்றன. 

தேவனது வார்த்தைகள் ஆவியாகவும் ஜீவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றன. எனவே அவையே உயிரளிப்பவை. "ஆவியே உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறது, மாம்சமானது ஒன்றுக்கும் உதவாது; நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிற வசனங்கள் ஆவியாயும் ஜீவனாயும் இருக்கிறது." ( யோவான் 6 : 63 ) என்றார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. அந்த ஜீஎவனுள்ள வார்த்தைகளே சுவிசேஷ வார்த்தைகள். இந்த வார்த்தைகள் மூலம் நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் மகிமையை அடையும்பொருட்டாக சுவிசேஷத்தினாலே அந்த இரட்சிப்புக்கு அவர் நம்மை அழைத்துள்ளார். 

எனவே கிறிஸ்துவின் மகிமையினை நாம் அடையவேண்டுமானால் அவரது வார்த்தைகள் நம்மில் செயல்புரிய அனுமதிக்கவேண்டும். அந்த சுவிசேஷ வார்த்தைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கவேண்டும். "சகோதரரே, நீங்கள் நிலைகொண்டு, வார்த்தையினாலாவது நிருபத்தினாலாவது நாங்கள் உங்களுக்கு உபதேசித்த முறைமைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுங்கள்." என்கின்றார் பவுல். 

தேவ வார்த்தைகளை உறுதியாக நம்புவோம், ஏற்றுக்கொள்வோம். அவற்றை வாழ்வாக்குவோம். அப்போதுதான்  நாம் அவரது மகிமையில் பங்குபெறுபவர்களாக மாறமுடியும்.

               OBTAINING THE GLORY

"Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ." ( 2 Thessalonians‍ 2 : 14 )

Although we live in this world this is not our ultimate goal; Instead, we should listen to the gospel of Christ and live according to it and enter into glory like our Savior Jesus Christ. We must receive His glory. We should live in this world accordingly.

If we are working for wealth, fame and glory of this world or if we are asking God for these things in our daily prayers, even if we get them, our life in the hereafter will be disastrous. The purpose of the writing of the gospel is so that we may experience salvation and attain a life of glory. "He has called you to that salvation." Paul the apostle said.

What should we do about it? "Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle." (2 Thessalonians‍ 2: 15) says Paul.

Today's verse tells us that we must understand the purpose of our calling. This is the difference between Christianity and other religions. All other religions, cults and rituals point the way to this worldly blessing. But Christianity (not religion) shows the way to eternal life.

Our emphasis is on God's Word and not on prayers for worldly blessings. People are still doing the same mistake that Adam did in Eden. Ignoring the words of God, Adam and Eve fell into the lust of the eyes and were interested in worldly things. Even today God's words are ignored.

God's words are spirit and life. So, they are life-giving. "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.' (John 6: 63) said Jesus Christ. Those words are the living gospel words. Through these words he has called us to that salvation through the gospel to attain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, if we want to attain the glory of Christ, we must allow His words to work in us. Heed those gospel words. "Stand ye, brethren, and observe the manners which we have preached unto you, whether by word or epistle." Paul said.

Let's firmly believe and accept God's words. Let's make them alive. Only then can we become partakers of His glory.

உள்ளான மனுஷனில் / IN THE INNER MAN

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,081       💚 ஜனவரி 25, 2024 💚 வியாழக்கிழமை  💚 

"நீங்கள் அவருடைய ஆவியினாலே உள்ளான மனுஷனில்             வல்லமையாய்ப் பலப்படவும்," (  எபேசியர் 3 : 16 )

மனிதர்கள் அனைவரும் இரண்டு விதமாக இருக்கின்றோம். வெளி மனிதன் என்பது வெளிப்பார்வைக்கு இந்த உலகத்துக்கு நாம் எப்படித் தெரிகின்றோம் என்பதைக் குறிக்கின்றது. உள்ளான மனிதன்  என்பது நாம் மட்டுமே அறிந்த அல்லது, நாமும் தேவனும் மட்டுமே அறிந்த நமது ஆவிக்குரிய குணங்களைக் குறிக்கின்றது.  

வெளி மனிதனை நடிப்பு மூலம் நாம் பிறருக்கு அறிவித்துக்கொள்ள முடியும். அதாவது நமது உண்மை மனநிலையை மறைத்து நல்லவர்கள்போல பிறருக்கு நம்மைக் காட்டிக்கொள்ள முடியும். ஆம், இதுவே மாய்மால வாழ்க்கை. மனிதர்கள் பெரும்பாலும் இப்படி மாய்மாலம் செய்பவர்களாகவே பலவேளைகளில் இருக்கின்றனர். இப்படி நடிப்பதால் நல்லவன் என உலகத்துக்கு நம்மைக் காட்டிக்கொள்ளலாம். ஆனால் தேவனை நாம் ஏமாற்றமுடியாது.

பொதுவாக அனைத்து மனிதர்களுக்கும் இந்த இரட்டை வாழ்க்கை இருந்தாலும், கிறிஸ்தவர்களாகிய நமக்கு உள்ளான மனிதன் என்பது கிறிஸ்து நமக்குள் உருவாகும்போது மெருகேறத் துவங்குகின்றது. நாம் கிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தத்தால் நமது பாவங்கள் கழுவப்படும்போது உள்ளான மனித வாழ்வைக் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் வாழத் துவங்குகின்றோம். வேதாகமமும் நமது உள்ளான மனித வளர்ச்சிக்காகவே எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளது. நமது உள்ளான ஆவிக்குரிய நிலையைப் பொறுத்தே நாம் தேவனுக்குமுன் எடைபோடப்படுகின்றோம்.  இதனையே ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வு என்கின்றோம்.  

இந்தநமது ஆவிக்குரிய  வாழ்வில் நாம் பலப்படவேண்டியது மிகவும் அவசியம். நாம் தேவனை அறியும் ஆரம்ப நாட்களில் ஆரம்பப் பள்ளியில் படிப்பதுபோன்ற ஒரு அனுபவத்தினுள் வாழ்கின்றோம். அங்கு அப்போதுதான் எழுத்துச் சொல்லித் தருவார்கள்.  ஆனால் நாம் அப்படியே இருப்பதில்லை. படிப்பில் ஒவ்வொரு  வகுப்பாக படித்து எம்.எ., எம்.பி .பி .எஸ் ., பொறியியல் படிப்பு என ஒரு மேலான படிப்பு நிலைக்கு வருகின்றோம்.  

அதுபோலவே ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வும். நாம் கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்த ஆரம்ப நிலையிலேயே இருந்துவிடக் கூடாது. கிறிஸ்து  இயேசுவில்  நாம் பலப்படவேண்டும் . பவுல் அடிகள் கூறுகிறார்,  "கடைசியாக, என் சகோதரரே, கர்த்தரிலும் அவருடைய  சத்துவத்தின் வல்லமையிலும் பலப்படுங்கள்." (  எபேசியர் 6 : 10 )

வல்லமை என்றதும் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் பலரும் அதிசயங்கள்  அற்புதங்கள் செய்வதும், நோய்களைக் குணமாக்கும்   வரம்  கிடைப்பதும்தான் என்று எண்ணிகொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். ஆனால்உண்மையான வல்லமை என்பது பாவத்திலிருந்தும் பாவ  பழக்கங்களிலிருந்தும்  முற்றிலும் நாம் விடுதலை பெறுவதுதான். எனவேதான் பவுல் அடிகள் "அவருடைய ஆவியினாலே உள்ளான மனுஷனில் வல்லமையாய்ப் பலப்படவும்" என்று கூறுகிறார்.   பாவத்தை மேற்கொள்ளும்போது நாம் உள்ளான மனிதனில் வல்லமையாய்ப் பலப்படுகின்றோம். 

நாம் இன்னும் நமது மாம்ச எண்ணங்களிலேயே இருந்தால் நாம்  பலம் அடையவில்லை என்று பொருள். பவுல் அடிகள் கூறுகிறார், "நீங்கள் பெலனில்லாதவர்களானதால், உங்களுக்குப் போஜனங்கொடாமல், பாலைக் குடிக்கக்கொடுத்தேன்; இன்னமும் நீங்கள் மாம்சத்துக்குரியவர்களாயிருக்கிறபடியால், இப்பொழுதும்  உங்களுக்குப் பெலனில்லை." (  1 கொரிந்தியர் 3 : 2 )

"பொறாமையும் வாக்குவாதமும் பேதகங்களும் உங்களுக்குள்  இருக்கிறபடியால், நீங்கள் மாம்சத்திற்குரியவர்களாயிருந்து  மனுஷமார்க்கமாய் நடக்கிறீர்களல்லவா? (  1 கொரிந்தியர் 3 : 3 )

மாம்ச எண்ணங்களான இச்சை, பொறாமை, காய்மகாரம், அவதூறு,பெருமை போன்றவை அழிந்து நாம் கிறிஸ்துவின்  வல்லமையினால் பலப்படவேண்டும். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, மெய்யான வல்லமை தேவனுடைய ஆவியின் பலத்தினால்  உண்டாயிருக்கிறது. தேவனுடைய ஆவியின் பலம் நம்மைத்  தாங்கி வழிநடத்த வேண்டுவோம். அப்போதுதான் நாம் உள்ளான மனிதனில் வல்லமை பெற்று  கிறிஸ்துவை  உலகுக்கு அறிவிக்கிறவர்களாக  மாற  முடியும்.

           IN THE INNER MAN

“….. to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;” (Ephesians 3: 16)

All humans are of two natures – the outer man and the inner man.  The outer man refers to how we appear to the outside world. The inner man refers to our spiritual qualities that only we know, or that only we and God know.

We can express ourselves to others by pretending to be good. That means we can hide our true state of mind and present ourselves to others as good people. Yes, this is hypocrisy. Humans are often hypocritical like this. By acting like this, we can show ourselves to the world as a good person. But we cannot deceive God.

Although all men in general have this dual life, the inner man of us as Christians begins to mature as Christ forms within us. When we have our sins washed away by the blood of Christ, we begin to live the inner human life in Christ. The Bible is also written for our inner human development. We are weighed before God according to our inner spiritual condition. This is what we call spiritual life.

It is very necessary for us to be strengthened in this spiritual life of ours. In the early days of our knowledge of God, we live in an experience like that of elementary school. Only then will they teach you how to write. But we are not in that state always. We study in each class and reach a higher level of study such as MA, MPBS, Engineering studies etc.

So is the spiritual life. We must not stop at the initial stage of knowing Christ. We must be strong in Christ Jesus. Paul goes on to say, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” (Ephesians 6: 10)

Many Christians think that power means performing miracles and receiving the gift of healing. But real power is our complete freedom from sin and sinful habits. That is why Paul says “to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;” If we  still commits sin, it means we are not strengthened in our inner man.

If we are still in our fleshly thoughts, it means that we are not strong. Paul says, " I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.” (1 Corinthians 3: 2)

“For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?” (1 Corinthians 3: 3)

Carnal thoughts such as lust, envy, slander, pride etc. should be destroyed and we should be strengthened by the power of Christ. Yes, beloved, true power comes from the power of God's Spirit. May the power of God's Spirit sustain us and guide us. Only then can we gain power in our inner man and become proclaimers of Christ to the world.

மேசியாவைக் கண்டோம் / WE FOUND MESSIAH

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,080      💚 ஜனவரி 24, 2024 💚 புதன்கிழமை  💚 

"பிலிப்பு நாத்தான்வேலைக் கண்டு: நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திலே மோசேயும் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளும் எழுதியிருக்கிறவரைக் கண்டோம்; அவர் யோசேப்பின் குமாரனும் நாசரேத்தூரானுமாகிய இயேசுவே என்றான்." ( யோவான் 1 : 45 )

கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவையும் அவரது உடனிருப்பையும் உணர்ந்தவர்களாக அவரை அறிவதே மேலான அனுபவம். அதாவது வெறும் அற்புதம் அதிசயங்களைக் கண்டு கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் விசுவாசம் கொள்வதைவிட கிறிஸ்துவை உண்மையாய் வாழ்விலே அனுபவித்து அவரை அறிவதும் பிறருக்கு அறிவிப்பதும் மேலானது.

இன்றைய வசனம் பிலிப்பைப்பற்றி கூறுகின்றது. பிலிப்புவை இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "என்னைப் பின்பற்றிவா" என   அழைக்கின்றார். உடனேயே அவரைப் பின்தொடர்ந்து சென்ற பிலிப்பு அவரோடு இருந்த அந்த ஒரு நாளிலேயே அவர்தான் மெய்யாக உலகினில் வரவேண்டிய மேசியா என்பதைக்   கண்டுகொண்டார். இயேசு கிறிஸ்து பெரிய அற்புதங்களையோ அதிசயங்களையோ பிலிப்புக்குக் காட்டவில்லை. ஆனால் கிறிஸ்துவோடு உடனிருந்த அனுபவத்தால் அவரே மேசியா என்பதைப் பிலிப்பு  கண்டுகொண்டார். 

பிலிப்பு இப்படி இயேசுவை அடையாளம் கண்டுகொள்ளக் காரணம் நியாயப் பிராமண நூல்களை அவர் நன்றாகக்  கற்று அறிந்திருந்ததால்தான். எனவேதான் அவர் இயேசுவைக் கண்டுகொண்ட உடனேயே நாத்தான்வேலைக் கண்டு,  "நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திலே மோசேயும் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளும் எழுதியிருக்கிறவரைக் கண்டோம்; அவர் யோசேப்பின் குமாரனும் நாசரேத்தூரானுமாகிய இயேசுவே." என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

அன்பானவர்களே, இயேசுவை வேதபூர்வமாக அறிந்து அவரது உடனிருப்பையும் ருசித்தவர்கள் பிலிப்பைப் போலவே இருப்பார்கள். அவர்கள் தங்கள் கண்டு அனுபவித்த இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை மற்றவர்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பதில் ஆர்வமாக இருப்பார்கள். பிலிப்பு நாத்தான்வேலுக்கு இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றி கூறியபோது அவன் நம்பவில்லை. அவன் பிலிப்புக்கு மறுமொழியாக, "நாசரேத்திலிருந்து யாதொரு நன்மை உண்டாகக்கூடுமா என்றான்." ( யோவான் 1 : 46 ) அதற்குப் பிலிப்பு: "வந்து பார்" என்றான்.

ஆம், நான் கூறுவதால் நீ நம்பவேண்டாம் நீயே வந்து பார். இதுபோலவே நாமும் இருக்கவேண்டும் அன்பானவர்களே. பாஸ்டர்களும் குருக்களும் கூறுவதால் அல்ல, மாறாக நாம் அவரைத் தனிப்பட்ட முறையில் அறிந்து அனுபவிக்கவேண்டும். பிலிப்பு நாத்தான்வேலுக்கு பெரிய வேத  விளக்கங்களைக் கொடுத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கவில்லை. "வந்து பார்" என்று கூறி நாத்தான்வேலைக் கிறிஸ்துவிடம் அழைத்து வருகின்றார்.  

பிலிப்பைப் போல நாமும் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை அறியவேண்டும். ஆதியாகமம் முதல் மல்கியா முடிய பழைய ஏற்பாட்டு நூல்களில் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றி கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. பிலிப்பைப்போல நாமும் அதனைக் கண்டுகொள்ளவேண்டும். அப்படிக் காணும்போது தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் மூலம் தேவன் பழைய ஏற்பாட்டில் பேசியுள்ளதை அறிய அறிய நமக்கு ஆச்சரியமும் கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் விசுவாசமும் அதிகரிக்கும். பிலிப்பைப் போல நாமும் உறுதியாக அவரே மேசியா என்று பிறருக்கு அறிவிக்கத் துவங்கிவிடுவோம். 

கிறிஸ்துவிடமிருந்து அதிசயங்களைப் பெற்று அவர்மேல் விசுவாசம் கொள்வதைவிட அனுபவத்தால் அவரைக் கண்டு அவர் நம்மோடு இருந்து செயல்படுவதை உணர்ந்துகொள்வதே மேலானது.  அப்போது நாமும் பிலிப்பைப்போல, "நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திலே மோசேயும் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளும் எழுதியிருக்கிறவரைக் கண்டோம்; அவர் யோசேப்பின் குமாரனும் நாசரேத்தூரானுமாகிய இயேசுவே". என்று உறுதியாக அறிக்கையிடுவோம். மட்டுமல்ல, அப்போது, வேறு யாரையும் உதவிக்கு அழைத்து ஜெபிக்கமாட்டோம்.

                WE FOUND MESSIAH

"Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph." (John 1: 45)

The best experience is to know the Lord Jesus Christ and to feel His presence. In other words, it is better to experience Christ in real life and to know Him and to announce Him to others than just seeing miracles and believing in Christ.

Today's verse is about Philip. Jesus Christ calls Philip, "Follow me." Philip, who immediately followed him, found out that he was indeed the Messiah who was to come into the world on that one day he was with him. Jesus Christ did not show Philip great miracles or wonders. But through his experience with Christ, Philip knew that He was the Messiah.

The reason why Philip recognized Jesus in this way was because he was well-learned and familiar with the Old Testament texts. That is why immediately after he found Jesus, he saw Nathanael and said, "We have found him of whom Moses and the prophets wrote in the books, this is Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph."

Beloved, those who know Jesus scripturally and taste his presence are like Philip. They will be eager to tell others about the Jesus Christ they have seen and experienced. When Philip told Nathanael about Jesus Christ, he did not believe him. He answered Philip, "Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? (John 1: 46) And Philip said: "Come and see."

Yes, don't believe what I say, come and see for yourself. So should we, dear ones. Not because pastors and priests say it, but because we need to know and experience Him personally. Philip was not giving Nathanael great scriptural explanations. He brings Nathanael to Christ by saying, "Come and see."

Like Philip, we need to know Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is mentioned in the Old Testament books from Genesis to Malachi. Like Philip, we must see it. When we see what God has spoken through the prophets in the Old Testament, we will wonder and our faith in Christ will increase. Like Philip, we will begin to proclaim to others that He is the Messiah.

It is better to see Him by experience and realize Him. Then we shall also proclaim like Philip, "we found him of whom Moses and the prophets wrote in the law, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph." We will definitely report that. Moreover, then, we will not call anyone else for help and pray to them.

கர்த்தரைத் தேடுவது / SEEKING THE LORD

"கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாருக்குச் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: என்னைத் தேடுங்கள், அப்பொழுது பிழைப்பீர்கள்." ( ஆமோஸ் 5 : 4 )

கர்த்தரைத் தேடுவது என்பது உண்மையான மெய் அன்போடு அவரை அறிந்துகொள்ளவேண்டும் எனும் ஆவலில் தேடுவதைக் குறிக்கின்றது. என்னைத் தேடுங்கள்; என்னிடமிருந்து வரும் ஆசீர்வாதங்களையல்ல, என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். அப்படி அவரைத் தேடும்போது நமது  ஆத்துமா  பிழைக்கும். 

ஒரு பெண்ணை உண்மையாய்க்  காதலிக்கும் மனிதன் அந்தப் பெண்ணை நேசிப்பதால் அவள்  தனக்கு உரியவளாகவேண்டும் என்று எண்ணுவானேத் தவிர அவளை மணமுடித்தால் தனக்கு எவ்வளவு வரதட்சணை கிடைக்கும் என்று கணக்குப்போட்டு காதலிக்கமாட்டான். அப்படிக் காதலிப்பது உண்மையான காதலுமல்ல. ஆனால் இன்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை அன்புசெய்கிறேன் என்று கூறிக்கொள்ளும் பலரும் அவரிடமிருந்து என்ன கிடைக்கும் என்றே எதிர்பார்த்து அவரை அன்பு செய்கின்றார். எனவே இப்படி அன்பு செய்வது கிறிஸ்துவை மெய்யாக அன்பு செய்வதல்ல.

"கர்த்தரையும் அவர் வல்லமையையும் நாடுங்கள்; அவர் சமுகத்தை நித்தமும் தேடுங்கள்." (சங்கீதம் 105: 4) என்று சங்கீதத்தில் வாசிக்கின்றோம். அவரையும் அவர் சமூகத்தையும் ஒருநாள் அல்ல, மாறாக தினமும் தேடவேண்டும் என்று இந்த வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. காரணம், மெய்யான ஒளியான அவர் இல்லாத வாழ்வு    இருளடைந்த வாழ்வாக அமைந்துவிடும்.

மேலும், உண்மை அன்பில்லாமல் கர்த்தரால் கிடைக்கும் உலக ஆசீர்வாதத்தைத் தேடுபவர்கள் பெரும்பாலும் ஊர் ஊராக கோவில் கோவிலாக அலைவது நாம் காணக்கூடிய ஒன்று. ஆனால் இது அர்த்தமற்றது. இதனையே ஆமோஸ் தீர்க்கதரிசி மூலம் தேவன் கூறுகின்றார், "பெத்தேலைத் தேடாதேயுங்கள், கில்காலிலும் சேராதேயுங்கள், பெயெர்செபாவுக்கும் போகாதேயுங்கள்; ஏனென்றால் கில்கால் சிறையிருப்பாகவும், பெத்தேல் பாழான ஸ்தலமாகவும் போகும்."( ஆமோஸ் 5 : 5 ) ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவன்மேல் உண்மை அன்பு இல்லாத வாழ்வு நம்மை  இப்படி அலையவைக்கும். 

நாம் கர்த்தரைத் தேடி எங்கும் அலையவேண்டாம். நாம் இருக்குமிடத்தில் இருந்துகொண்டே அவரை அறியலாம், வழிபடலாம், அவரது பிரசன்னத்தை உணரலாம். ஆம், எங்கும் நிறைந்திருக்கும் கர்த்தரை நாம் எங்கும் தொழுதுகொள்ளலாம். இதனையே சமாரியா பெண்ணிடம் இயேசு கூறினார், "ஸ்திரீயே, நான் சொல்லுகிறதை நம்பு. நீங்கள் இந்த மலையிலும் எருசலேமிலும் மாத்திரமல்ல, எங்கும் பிதாவைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுங்காலம் வருகிறது." ( யோவான் 4 : 21 )

அப்படி நாம் ஏன் அவரைத் தேடவேண்டும்? இன்றைய வசனம்  அதற்கும் பதில் கூறுகின்றது, "அப்பொழுது பிழைப்பீர்கள்." என்று. அதாவது நமது வாழ்வில் கர்த்தர் இல்லையானால் நாம் பிழைக்கமுடியாது. நாம் எவ்வளவு சொத்து சுகங்களோடு வாழ்ந்தாலும் அது மெய்யான உயிருள்ள வாழ்வாக இருக்காது. நாம் இந்தப் பூலோக வாழ்விலும், மறுமையிலும் பிழைத்து  வாழ வேண்டுமானால் அவரைத் தேடவேண்டியதும் அவர் நம்மோடு இருக்கவேண்டியதும் அவசியமாகும். 

உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்காக தேவனைத் தேடி வாழ்பவர்களுக்கு அவரது பிரசன்னம் வாழ்வில் இருப்பதையோ தேவ பிரசன்னம் வாழ்வில் இல்லாமல் போவதையோ கண்டுணர முடியாது. உண்டு, உறங்கி, வேலைக்குப் போவதுபோல ஜெபத்தையும் ஆலய வழிபாட்டையும் அன்றாடப் பணிபோலச் செய்துகொண்டே இருப்பார்கள்.  ஆனால் கர்த்தரைத் தேடிக்  கண்டுபிடித்தார்களுக்கு அவரது உடனிருப்பும் அது இல்லாமல் போவதும் தெளிவாகவேத்  தெரியும்.

புதிய ஏற்பாட்டின்படி விசுவாச மார்க்கத்தாராகிய நாம்தான் ஆவிக்குரிய இஸ்ரவேலர்கள். எனவே, நமக்காகவே தேவன்  இதனைக் கூறுகின்றார், "இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரே என்னைத் தேடுங்கள், அப்பொழுது பிழைப்பீர்கள்." அனுதினமும் அவரைத் தேடுவோம். அவரது பிரசன்னத்தில் களிகூர்ந்து மகிழ்வோம்.

                SEEKING THE LORD

"For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:" (Amos 5: 4)

Seeking the Lord means seeking to know Him with genuine love. Look for me; Not blessings from me, says the Lord God. When we seek Him like that, our soul will survive.

A man who truly loves a woman deserves that she should be his own because he loves her, but he does not fall in love by calculating how much dowry he will get if he marries her. Loving like that is not true love. But many who claim to love Jesus Christ today love Him expecting what they will get from Him. So, loving like this is not really loving Christ.

"Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore." (Psalms 105: 4) we read in the Psalms. This verse tells us to seek him and his community not once, but daily. The reason is that life without Him, the true light, will be a life of darkness.

Also, what we see is that those who seek worldly blessings from the Lord without true love often wander from town to town and temple to temple. But this is pointless. This is what God says through the prophet Amos, "But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought.' (Amos 5: 5) Yes dear, life without true love for God will make us wander like this.

We should not wander anywhere in search of God. We can know Him, worship Him, feel His presence right where we are. Yes, we can worship the omnipresent Lord anywhere. This is what Jesus said to the Samaritan woman, "Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father." (John 4: 21)

Why should we seek Him? Today's verse answers that too, "Then you shall live." that. That is, if there is no Lord in our lives, we cannot survive. No matter how many possessions we live with, it is not a truly living life. If we want to survive in this worldly life and in the hereafter, it is necessary to seek Him and for Him to be with us.

Those who live in search of God for worldly blessings cannot find His presence in their lives or realize the absence of God's presence in their lives. They eat, sleep, go to work and do prayer and temple worship as a daily routine. But those who seek and find the Lord know clearly His presence and His absence.

According to the New Testament we believers are spiritual Israelites. Therefore, God says this for us, “saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:" Let us rejoice in His presence.
