Meditation Verse - 1 யோவான் 1 : 1 / 1 John 1:1

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,416

'ஆதவன்' டிசம்பர் 24, 2024. 💚செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை

"ஆதிமுதல் இருந்ததும், நாங்கள் கேட்டதும், எங்கள் கண்களினாலே கண்டதும், நாங்கள் நோக்கிப்பார்த்ததும், எங்கள் கைகளினாலே தொட்டதுமாயிருக்கிற ஜீவவார்த்தையைக் குறித்து உங்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கிறோம்." (1 யோவான்  1 : 1)

இயேசு கிறிஸ்து வெறும் இரண்டாயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு பிறந்த ஒரு மனிதனல்ல.  உலகங்கள் தோன்றுவதற்குமுன்னே அவர் பிதாவோடு இருந்தவர். அவர்மூலமாகவே அனைத்தும் படைக்கப்பட்டன. "அவர் ஆதியிலே தேவனோடிருந்தார். சகலமும் அவர் மூலமாய் உண்டாயிற்று; உண்டானதொன்றும் அவராலேயல்லாமல் உண்டாகவில்லை." ( யோவான் 1: 2, 3) என்று அவரைக்குறித்து கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

ஆதிமுதல் இருந்ததும், கேட்டதும், பலர் கண்களினாலே கண்டதும், நோக்கிப்பார்த்ததும், கைகளினாலே தொட்டதுமாயிருக்கிற ஜீவவார்த்தையாம் கிறிஸ்து  மனிதனாக உலகினில் வந்ததாக குறிக்கும் ஒரு   நாளையே நாம் கிறிஸ்து பிறப்பு விழாவாகக் கொண்டாடுகின்றோம். கிறிஸ்து பிறப்பு சாதாரண ஒரு உலக மகான் பிறந்ததுபோன்ற பிறப்பல்ல. அது ஏற்கெனவே பிதாவாகிய தேவனால் திட்டமிடப்பட்டதும் பல தீர்க்கதரிசிகளால் முன்குறிக்கப்பட்டதுமான பிறப்பு.  

அவர் ஒரு உன்னதமான நோக்கத்தோடு உலகினில் பிறந்தார். ஆம், பிதாவிடத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு பூமிக்கு அவர் வந்த நோக்கம் நமக்கு பாவத்திலிருந்து விடுதலையளித்து நித்தியஜீவனை அளிக்கவே. இதனை யோசேப்புக்கு தேவதூதன் அறிவித்தச் செய்தியில் கூறுகின்றான்:-  "அவள் ஒரு குமாரனைப் பெறுவாள், அவருக்கு இயேசு என்று பேரிடுவாயாக; ஏனெனில் அவர் தமது ஜனங்களின் பாவங்களை நீக்கி அவர்களை இரட்சிப்பார்." ( மத்தேயு 1: 21) ஆம், இயேசு எனும் பெயருக்குப் பொருள் "இரட்சகர்" என்பதே. 

வேதாகமத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ள வாசகங்கள்  வாசித்து ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவேண்டிய வார்த்தைகள் மட்டுமல்ல அனுபவத்தில் நாம் உணர்ந்து அனுபவிக்கவேண்டிய வார்த்தைகள். இந்த வார்த்தைகளின்படி நமது பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்படும்போது அவர் தனிப்பட்ட முறையில் நமக்கு வெளிப்படுவார். அப்படித் தங்களுக்கு அவர்  வெளிப்பட்ட அனுபவத்தில் அப்போஸ்தலரான யோவான் கூறுகின்றார்,  "அந்த ஜீவன் வெளிப்பட்டது; பிதாவினிடத்திலிருந்ததும், எங்களுக்கு வெளிப்பட்டதுமான நித்தியமாயிருக்கிற அந்த ஜீவனை நாங்கள் கண்டு, அதைக்குறித்துச் சாட்சிகொடுத்து, அதை உங்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கிறோம்." (1 யோவான்  1 : 2)

பிதாவினிடத்திலிருந்ததும், நமக்கு வெளிப்பட்டதுமான நித்தியமாயிருக்கிற அந்த ஜீவனுள்ள கிறிஸ்துவை நாம் நமது வாழ்வில் கண்டுணர்ந்து அவரைக்குறித்து சாட்சிகொடுத்து வாழவேண்டும். அப்போதுதான் நாம் கொண்டாடும் கிறிஸ்துபிறப்பு விழா அர்த்தமுள்ளதாக இருக்கும். இல்லையானால் உலக மக்கள் கொண்டாடும் சாதாரண ஒரு விழாவாகவே அது இருக்கும்.   

புத்தாடைகள்  அணிந்து, கிறிஸ்துமஸ் கேக் மற்றும் இனிப்புகளை மற்றவர்களுக்கு  வழங்கி,  அசைவ உணவுகளை உண்டு மகிழ்வதல்ல மெய்யான கிறிஸ்து பிறப்பு. அவர் நமது உள்ளத்தில் பிறப்பதே கிறிஸ்துமஸ்.   அது ஆண்டுக்கு ஒருமுறை கொண்டாடும் பண்டிகையல்ல, நாம் நம்மை அவருக்கு எப்போது ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கின்றோமோ அன்றே நமது உள்ளத்தில் அவர் பிறக்கும் அனுபவம். அதற்கு டிசம்பர் 25 ஆம் தேதிவரை காத்திருக்கவேண்டிய அவசியமில்லை.  நாம் உண்மையான மனம்திரும்புதலுக்கு வரும்போது அவர் நமக்குள் பிறக்கின்றார். அப்படி அவர் நம்மோடு என்றும் இருப்பதை நாம் வாழ்வில் அனுதினமும் அனுபவிப்பதே மெய்யான கிறிஸ்து பிறப்பு.

Scripture Meditation - No. 1,416

AATHAVAN - December 24, 2024, Tuesday

"That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;" (1 John 1:1)

Jesus Christ is not merely a man who was born two thousand years ago. He existed with the Father before the worlds were formed. Through Him, everything was created. As it is written: "The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made." (John 1:2-3)

The day we celebrate as Christmas signifies the arrival of Christ, the Word of Life, into the world as a man. His birth is not like the birth of any great man of the world. It is a birth preordained by the Father and foretold by many prophets.

He was born into this world with a divine purpose. Yes, He came from the Father to deliver us from sin and to give us eternal life. This purpose is clearly conveyed by the angel’s message to Joseph: "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." (Matthew 1:21) Indeed, the name Jesus means "Saviour."

The words written in the Bible are not just to be read and accepted; they are to be experienced personally. When our sins are forgiven as per these words, He reveals Himself to us. The apostle John, speaking from his experience, declares: "For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;" (1 John 1:2)

We are called to experience Christ, the eternal life from the Father, in our lives, and to bear witness of Him. Only then does our celebration of Christmas hold true meaning. Otherwise, it remains a mere festive occasion like any other worldly celebration.

Real Christmas is not about donning new clothes, sharing cakes and sweets, or feasting on lavish meals. True Christmas is Christ being born in our hearts. It is not a yearly celebration but a personal experience whenever we surrender ourselves to Him. There is no need to wait until December 25 for this. The moment we truly repent, He is born in us. Experiencing His presence with us daily is the essence of true Christmas.
