🦋 Meditation verse - சங்கீதம் 53 : 2 / Psalm 53:2

 தியானம் - 2011

"ஆதவன்"ஆகஸ்ட் 11 செவ்வாய் 2026

தேவனைத் தேடுகிற உணர்வுள்ளவன் உண்டோ என்று பார்க்க, தேவன் பரலோகத்திலிருந்து மனுபுத்திரரைக் கண்ணோக்கினார்." (  சங்கீதம் 53 : 2 )

தன்னைத் தேடுகிற உணர்வுள்ளவன் உண்டோ என்று தேவன் பரலோகத்திலிருந்து பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றார் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. ஆம், அவர் தன்னை  அறியவேண்டும் எனும் உணர்வுள்ளவன் பூமியில் உண்டுமா என்று பார்த்துகொண்டேயிருக்கின்றார். 

ஆனால் பெரும்பாலான மக்கள் அவரைத் தேடுவதற்குப்பதில் அவரிடமிருந்து என்ன கிடைக்கும் என்றே தேடிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.  தேவனை அறியவேண்டும் எனும் மெய்யான உணர்வோடு தேடுகிற மனிதர்களுக்கு மட்டுமே அவர்  வெளிப்படுவார்.  "தேடுங்கள், அப்பொழுது கண்டடைவீர்கள்" ( மத்தேயு 7 : 7 ) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறவில்லையா? அவர் காணாமல்போன பொருட்களைக் கண்டுபிடிக்க நம்மைத் தேடச் சொல்லவில்லை. மாறாக, இதுவரை அறியாமலிருக்கும் அவரைத் தேடச் சொல்கின்றார். 

கடவுள் என்று ஒருவர் உண்டா? அப்படியானால் உண்மையான கடவுள் யார்? என்பதை அறிய எல்லா மத நூல்களையையும் படித்து இறுதியில் தேவனை அறிந்துகொண்டதாகப் பலர் கூறுகின்றனர். இந்து குடும்பத்தில் பிறந்த எனது நண்பர் சகோதரர் சொர்ணகுமார் அவர்கள் தனது சாட்சியைக் கூறும்போது,   தேவனை அறிய பல மத நூல்களையும் தான் கற்றதாகவும் இறுதியில் வேதாகமத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து  படித்துக் கொண்டுவரும்போது, "உன்னுடனே பேசுகிற நானே அவர் " (யோவான் - 4 : 26) எனும் வசனத்தைப் படித்தபோது தேவனால் உணர்த்தப்பட்டுத் தொடப்பட்டு கிறிஸ்துவுக்குத் தன்னை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்ததாகக்  கூறுவார். ஆம், இதுபோல உண்மையாய்த் தேவனைத் தேடும் எவருக்கும் அவர் வெளிப்படுவார்.   

அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் கிறிஸ்தவப் பெற்றோருக்கு மகனாக,  மகளாகப் பிறந்துவிட்டு கிறிஸ்தவ முறைமைகளை பின்பற்றுவதால் தேவனை அறிந்தவர்களல்ல. இதனை நாம் புரிந்துகொள்ளவேண்டும். 

பரலோகத்திலிருந்து மனிதர்களைக் கண்காணிக்கும் தேவன் இப்படித் தன்னைத் தேடுகின்ற மனிதர்களுக்கு இரட்சிப்பு அனுபவத்தைக் கொடுக்கின்றார். "உம்மைத் தேடுகிற யாவரும் உம்மில் மகிழ்ந்து சந்தோஷப்படுவார்களாக; உமது இரட்சிப்பில் பிரியப்படுகிறவர்கள் தேவனுக்கு மகிமையுண்டாவதாக என்று எப்பொழுதும் சொல்வார்களாக." (  சங்கீதம் 70 : 4 )

தங்களது மத வைராக்கியத்தை விட்டு மெய்யான தேவனை அறியவேண்டும் எனும் எண்ணத்தோடு தன்னைத் தேடுபவர்கள் மேல் தேவன் பிரியம் வைக்கின்றார். "கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜனத்தின்மேல் பிரியம் வைக்கிறார்; சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்களை இரட்சிப்பினால் அலங்கரிப்பார்." (  சங்கீதம் 149 : 4 )

சென்ற நூற்றாண்டு ஆரம்பத்தில் வாழ்ந்த சாது சுந்தர்சிங் அவர்கள் பிறப்பால் ஒரு சீக்கியர்.  சிறு வயதிலேயே தாயை இழந்த அவர் தகப்பனின் அரவணைப்பில் வளர்ந்தார். இளைஞனானபோது துன்பங்கள் தொடர்ந்திட அவைகளை மேற்கொள்ள முடியாமல் தற்கொலை செய்துகொள்ள முடிவெடுத்தார். அதிகாலையில் எழுந்து தனது வீட்டுக்கு அருகில் செல்லும் ரயில் தண்டவாளத்தில் படுத்து  தற்கொலை செய்துகொள்ள முடிவெடுத்தார். அதற்குமுன், பொதுவான ஒரு ஜெபத்தை ஏறெடுத்தார்.

எந்த தெய்வத்தின் பெயரையும் குறிப்பிடாமல், "நான் தற்கொலை செய்து என்னை மாய்த்துக்கொள்ளப் போகின்றேன்.... உண்மையிலேயே கடவுள் என்று ஒருவர் இருப்பாரானால், அவர் என்னை மன்னிக்கட்டும்...தற்கொலை செய்வது பாவம் என்று எல்லா மதங்களும் கூறுகின்றன....எனவே உண்மையான தேவன் ஒருவர் உண்டு என்றால் அவர் என்னை மன்னிக்கட்டும்" என்று பொதுவாக ஜெபித்துவிட்டு எழுந்தபோது கிறிஸ்து அவருக்கு வெளிப்பட்டார்.  தற்கொலைக்கு முயன்ற அவர் பிறகு கிறிஸ்துவின் அபோஸ்தர்களது அனுபவித்த அனுபவத்துடன் வல்லமையான ஊழியரானார். 

ஆம், "உங்கள் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் என்னைத் தேடினீர்களானால், என்னைத் தேடுகையில் கண்டுபிடிப்பீர்கள்." (  எரேமியா 29 : 13 ) எனும் வசனத்தின்படி தேவனை அறியவேண்டுமெனும் எண்ணத்துடன் முழு மனதுடன் தேடினால் தேவனைக் கண்டு கொள்ளலாம். மட்டுமல்ல, நொறுங்குண்ட இருதயம் தேவனைக் கண்டுகொள்ளும்.  "நொறுங்குண்ட இருதயமுள்ளவர்களுக்குக் கர்த்தர் சமீபமாயிருந்து, நருங்குண்ட ஆவியுள்ளவர்களை இரட்சிக்கிறார்." (சங்கீதம் 34:18)

பரலோகத்திலிருந்து கண்ணோக்கும் தேவன் நம்மைக் காணட்டும்.நமது உள்ளத்தின் ஆர்வம், உடைந்த உள்ளம் இவையே நாம் தேவனைக் கண்டுகொள்ள உதவும்.

"AATHAVAN" – August 11, Tuesday 2026

"God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God." (Psalm 53:2)

Today’s meditation verse tells us that God is looking down from heaven to see if there is anyone with understanding who seeks Him. Yes, He is continually watching to see if there is anyone on earth with the earnest desire to know Him.

However, instead of seeking Him, most people are seeking what they can get from Him. God will reveal Himself only to those who seek Him with a genuine desire to know Him. Did not Jesus Christ say, "Seek, and ye shall find" (Matthew 7:7)? He did not tell us to seek lost objects; rather, He asks us to seek Him, whom we have not yet known.

Many people testify that in their quest to know whether God exists and who the true God is, they read all religious scriptures and ultimately came to know God. My friend, Brother Sornakumar, who was born in a Hindu family, shares his testimony of how he studied scriptures of various religions to know God. As he continued reading the Bible, when he came across the verse, "I that speak unto thee am he" (John 4:26), he was convicted and touched by God, and surrendered himself to Christ. Yes, in the same way, God will reveal Himself to anyone who truly seeks Him.

Dearly beloved, just because we are born as sons or daughters to Christian parents and follow Christian rituals, it does not mean we know God. We must understand this.

God, who watches over humanity from heaven, grants the experience of salvation to such people who seek Him. "Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified." (Psalm 70:4)

God delights in those who set aside religious zeal and seek Him with the desire to know the true God. "For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation." (Psalm 149:4)

Sadhu Sundar Singh, who lived at the beginning of the last century, was a Sikh by birth. Having lost his mother at an early age, he grew up under his father's care. As a young man, continuous afflictions overwhelmed him, and unable to endure them, he decided to commit suicide. He resolved to wake up early in the morning and lie on the railway tracks near his home. Before doing so, he offered a general prayer.

Without naming any specific deity, he prayed generally: "I am going to end my life by committing suicide... If there truly is a God, let Him forgive me... All religions say that suicide is a sin... Therefore, if there is a true God, let Him forgive me." When he arose after praying, Christ revealed Himself to him. The man who attempted suicide later became a powerful servant of God with an experience like that of the Apostles of Christ.

Yes, according to the verse, "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29:13), if you search with a whole heart and a desire to know God, you will find Him. Moreover, a broken heart will find God: "The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit." (Psalm 34:18)

May the God who looks down from heaven behold us. The longing of our inner heart and a broken spirit—these are what help us find God.

🦋 Meditation verse - சங்கீதம் 77: 7, 8 / Psalm 77:7, 8

"ஆதவன்"ஆகஸ்ட் 10 திங்கள் 2026

"ஆண்டவர் நித்தியகாலமாய்த் தள்ளிவிடுவாரோ? இனி ஒருபோதும் தயை செய்யாதிருப்பாரோ? அவருடைய கிருபை முற்றிலும் அற்றுப்போயிற்றோ? வாக்குத்தத்தமானது தலைமுறை தலைமுறைக்கும் ஒழிந்துபோயிற்றோ?" ( சங்கீதம் 77: 7, 8)

இந்த உலகத்தில் நாம் எதிர்கொள்ளும் ஒருசில கேள்விகளே அக்கேள்விகளுக்கு பதிலாகவும்  அமைந்துவிடுவதுண்டு. உதாரணமாக, "தாய் தனது பிள்ளையை மறப்பாளோ?" என்று கேட்கும் கேள்வியே, "மறக்கமாட்டாள்" எனும் பதிலை உணர்த்துவதாக உள்ளது. இதுபோலவே இன்றைய தியான வசனமும் சில கேள்விகளை எழுப்புகின்றது. இவை அனைத்தும் நேர்மறையான பதிலையேத் தருகின்றன. 

"ஆண்டவர் நித்தியகாலமாய்த் தள்ளிவிடுவாரோ?" என்றால், தள்ளிவிடமாட்டார் என்றும், "தயை செய்யாதிருப்பாரோ?" என்றால் இருக்கமாட்டார் என்றும்  "அவருடைய கிருபை முற்றிலும் அற்றுப்போயிற்றோ?" என்றால் இல்லை, அற்றுபோகவில்லை என்றும், அவரது    "வாக்குத்தத்தமானது தலைமுறை தலைமுறைக்கும் ஒழிந்துபோயிற்றோ?" என்றால் ஒழிந்துபோகவில்லை என்றும் பொருள் தருகின்றது. 

இப்படியே வாழ்க்கையில் நாம் எழுப்பும் கேள்விகள் தேவன் தரும் பதிலாகவும் அமைகின்றன. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, ஒருவேளை இன்று நாம் பல்வேறுவிதமான துன்பத்துக்குள்ளாகி, "ஐயோ, ஆண்டவர் என்னைப் புறக்கணித்துவிட்டாரோ, என்னைத் தள்ளிவிட்டாரோ" என்று புலம்பிக்கொண்டிருக்கலாம். அல்லது விரக்தியின் உச்சத்தில் நாம், "அவர் எனது ஜெபத்துக்குப் பதில் தரமாட்டார்" என்றும் எண்ணலாம். ஆனால் இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது,  திடன்கொண்டு இருங்கள் ஆண்டவர் அப்படி யாரையும் புறம்பேத் தள்ளமாட்டார்,  நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "பிதாவானவர் எனக்குக் கொடுக்கிறயாவும் என்னிடத்தில் வரும்; என்னிடத்தில் வருகிறவனை நான் புறம்பே தள்ளுவதில்லை." ( யோவான் 6: 37) என்று  கூறவில்லையா? 

துன்பங்கள் நெருக்கும்போது எவ்வளவு பெரிய தேவ மனிதர்களும் சிலவேளைகளில் இப்படித் தேவன் தங்களைக் கைவிட்டுவிட்டாரோ என்று புலம்புவதுண்டு. எரேமியா தீர்க்கத்தரிசி இப்படிப் புலம்பியதை நாம் வேதாகமத்தில் வாசிக்கின்றோம். "நான் என் ஜனத்தார் யாவருக்கும் பரியாசமும், நித்தம் அவர்கள் கின்னரப்பாடலுமானேன். கசப்பினால் என்னை நிரப்பி, எட்டியினால் என்னை வெறிக்கச்செய்தார். அவர் பருக்கைக்கற்களால் என் பற்களை நொறுக்கி, என்னைச் சாம்பலில் புரளப்பண்ணினார். என் ஆத்துமாவைச் சமாதானத்துக்குத் தூரமாக்கினார்; சுகத்தை மறந்தேன். என் பெலனும் நான் கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருந்த நம்பிக்கையும் அழிந்துபோயிற்று என்றேன்" (புலம்பல் 3: 14-18) என்கிறார் அவர். 

எரேமியா இப்படிப் புலம்பினாலும் இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதுபோல, தேவன் தம்மைத் தள்ளிவிடமாட்டார் என்று அவருக்கு நிச்சயமாகத் தெரிந்திருந்தது. எனவே தொடர்ந்து அவர் கூறுகின்றார், "கர்த்தர் என் பங்கு என்று என் ஆத்துமா சொல்லும்; ஆகையால் அவரிடத்தில் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டிருப்பேன். தமக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்களுக்கும் தம்மைத் தேடுகிற ஆத்துமாவுக்கும் கர்த்தர் நல்லவர். கர்த்தருடைய இரட்சிப்புக்கு நம்பிக்கையோடு காத்திருக்கிறது நல்லது." ( புலம்பல் 3: 24-26)

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, கர்த்தரது இரட்சிப்புக்கு நம்பிக்கையோடு காத்திருக்கிறது நல்லது. தேவன் நம்மைக் கைவிட்டதுபோன்ற சூழ்நிலை நமக்கு வாழ்வில் ஏற்பட்டாலும் நமக்கு இந்த உறுதி வேண்டும். ஆண்டவர் நித்தியகாலமாய்த் தள்ளிவிடமாட்டார்; நமக்கு ஒருபோதும் தயை செய்யாமலிருக்கமாட்டார்;  அவருடைய கிருபை முற்றிலும் அற்றுப்போய்விடாது;  அவரது வாக்குத்தத்தமானது தலைமுறை தலைமுறைக்கும் ஒழிந்துபோகாது.  

பிரச்சனைகள், துன்பங்கள், சோர்வுகள் ஏற்படும்போது  நாம் நம்பிக்கையோடு காத்திருக்கிறது நல்லது. கர்த்தர் நமக்குத் தைரியம் கொடுக்க அருமையான வாக்குத்தத்தத்தை வேதாகமத்தில் பதிவு செய்து வைத்துள்ளார். ஆம், "கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்களோ புதுப்பெலன் அடைந்து, கழுகுகளைப்போலச் செட்டைகளை அடித்து எழும்புவார்கள்; அவர்கள் ஓடினாலும் இளைப்படையார்கள், நடந்தாலும் சோர்ந்துபோகார்கள்." ( ஏசாயா 40: 31) கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருப்போம்; அப்போது, கர்த்தரது ஆச்சரியமான வழிநடத்துதலை நாம் நமது வாழ்வில் காணமுடியும்.

"AATHAVAN"

August 10, Monday, 2026

"Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more? Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fails for evermore?" (Psalm 77:7, 8)

In this world, a few questions we face often serve as the answers themselves. For instance, the question "Can a woman forget her sucking child?" inherently conveys the answer, "She will not forget." Similarly, today's meditation verse raises several questions, all of which yield positive answers.

When it asks, "Will the Lord cast off for ever?", it means He will not cast off. When it asks, "Will he be favourable no more?", it means He will not cease to show favour. When it asks, "Is his mercy clean gone for ever?", it means no, His mercy is not gone. And when it asks, "Doth his promise fail for evermore?", it implies that His promise will never fail.

In this manner, the questions we raise in life often become the very answers God gives us.

Yes, beloved ones, perhaps today we are undergoing various afflictions and lamenting, "Alas, has the Lord rejected me? Has He cast me off?" Or, at the peak of despair, we might think, "He will not answer my prayer." But today's meditation verse speaks to us: Be of good courage, the Lord will not cast anyone out. Did not our Lord Jesus Christ say:

"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." (John 6:37)

When troubles press upon them, even great men of God sometimes lament, wondering if God has forsaken them. We read in the Bible how the prophet Jeremiah lamented in this way:

"I was a derision to all my people; and their song all the day. He hath filled me with bitterness, he hath made me drunken with wormwood. He hath also broken my teeth with gravel stones, he hath covered me with ashes. And thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I forget prosperity. And I said, My strength and my hope is perished from the LORD:" (Lamentations 3:14–18)

Even though Jeremiah lamented thus, he knew for certainty—just as today's meditation verse tells us—that God would not cast him off. Therefore, he continues:

"The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore, will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD." (Lamentations 3:24–26)

Yes, beloved ones, it is good to hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord. Even if circumstances in life make it seem as though God has forsaken us, we must hold fast to this assurance: The Lord will not cast off forever; He will never cease to show us favour; His mercy will never be clean gone; and His promise will not fail for generations to come.

When problems, afflictions, and weariness arise, it is good for us to wait with hope. To impart courage to us, the Lord has recorded a precious promise in the Scriptures:

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31)

Let us wait upon the Lord; then, we shall behold His marvellous guidance in our lives.

🦋 Meditation verse - எசேக்கியேல் 20 : 44 / Ezekiel 20:44

"ஆதவன்"ஆகஸ்ட் 09 ஞாயிறு 2026

"இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரே, உங்கள் பொல்லாத வழிகளுக்குத்தக்கதாகவும், உங்கள் கெட்ட கிரியைகளுக்குத்தக்கதாகவும் நான் உங்களுக்குச் செய்யாமல், என் நாமத்தினிமித்தம் உங்களுக்குக் கிருபைசெய்யும்போது, நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள் என்கிறதைக் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார்". ( எசேக்கியேல் 20 : 44 )

 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் தேவனது வித்தியாசமான இரக்கத்தைத் தெளிவுபடுத்தும்  வார்த்தைகளைக் கூறுகின்றது.  உங்களது கெட்டச் செயல்களுக்கும் பொல்லாத வழிகளுக்கும் ஏற்றபடி நான் உங்களைத் தண்டிப்பேன் என்று கூறாமல், உங்களுக்கு நான் கிருபை செய்வேன்; அப்போது நீங்கள் என்னை அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள் என்கின்றார் தேவன்.  

ஒரு வகுப்பின் ஆசிரியர் மாணவர்களைப்பார்த்து, "நான் உங்களை நீங்கள் படிக்காமல் இருந்தாலும், நீங்கள் வீட்டுப்படங்களை ஒழுங்காக முடிக்காமல் வந்தாலும், பாடங்களுக்கு மதிப்பெண் குறைவாக எடுத்தாலும், நீங்கள் ஒழுங்கீனமாக நடந்தாலும் உங்களைத் தண்டிக்கமாட்டேன்; அதனால் நீங்கள் என்னை நல்ல ஆசிரியர் என்று உணர்ந்துகொள்வீர்கள்" என்று கூறுவதுபோல இருக்கின்றது தேவனது வார்த்தைகள். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது தேவனது இரக்கத்தை இந்த வசனம் நமக்கு எடுத்துக்கூறுகின்றது. தேவன் பாவத்தை வெறுத்தாலும் பாவிகளை நேசிக்கின்றார். எனவேதான் எப்படியாவது அவர்கள் மனம் திரும்பவேண்டுமென்று அவர் விரும்புவதால் இப்படி கிருபையுடன் இரங்குகின்றார். எனவே "அவர் நம்முடைய பாவங்களுக்குத்தக்கதாக நமக்குச் செய்யாமலும், நம்முடைய அக்கிரமங்களுக்குத் தக்கதாக நமக்குச் சரிக்கட்டாமலும் இருக்கிறார்." ( சங்கீதம் 103 : 10 ) இப்படி அவர் இரங்கியதால்தான் தாவீது அவரைப் புகழ்ந்து சங்கீதம் பாடினார்; பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர் மீட்கப்பட்டார். 

பவுல் கிறிஸ்துவின் பெயரால் பிரசங்கிக்கும் மனிதர்களைப் பிடித்து அவர்களைக் கொலைசெய்யவும், சபைகளை பாழாக்கவும் செய்தார். ஸ்தேவான் கல்லால் எறியப்பட்டுக் கொலை செய்யப்பட்டபோது அதற்குப் பவுல் எனும் சவுல் உடன்பட்டிருந்தார். ஆனால் இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதன்படி, தேவன் அவரது பொல்லாத வழிகளுக்குத்தக்கதாகவும்,  கெட்ட கிரியைகளுக்குத்தக்கதாகவும் பதில் செய்யாமல், அவருக்குக்  கிருபைசெய்தார். 

நம்மில் யாரும் தேவனுக்குமுன் தூய்மையானவர்களோ பரிசுத்தர்களோ அல்ல. ஆனால் நாம் அனைவரும் அவரது கிருபையால் நிலைநிற்கின்றோம். எனவேதான் சங்கீத ஆசிரியர், "கர்த்தாவே, நீர் அக்கிரமங்களைக் கவனித்திருப்பீரானால், யார் நிலைநிற்பான்,  ஆண்டவரே" ( சங்கீதம் 130 : 3 ) என்கின்றார். 

இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுலும், "அவர்களுக்குள்ளே நாமெல்லாரும் முற்காலத்திலே நமது மாம்ச இச்சையின்படியே நடந்து, நமது மாம்சமும் மனசும் விரும்பினவைகளைச் செய்து, சுபாவத்தினாலே மற்றவர்களைப்போலக் கோபாக்கினையின் பிள்ளைகளாயிருந்தோம். தேவனோ இரக்கத்தில் ஐசுவரியமுள்ளவராய் நம்மில் அன்புகூர்ந்த தம்முடைய மிகுந்த அன்பினாலே, அக்கிரமங்களில் மரித்தவர்களாயிருந்த நம்மைக் கிறிஸ்துவுடனேகூட உயிர்ப்பித்தார்; கிருபையினாலே இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டீர்கள்." ( எபேசியர் 2 : 3-5 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

நாம் முதலில் பார்த்த ஆசிரியர் கூறுவது வேடிக்கைப்போல தெரிந்தாலும் இத்தகைய ஆசிரியர்களால் பல மாணவர்கள் நல்லவர்களாக வாய்ப்பு உண்டு. பொதுவாக ஆசிரியர்களின் கண்டிப்புக்குப் பயந்து பல மாணவர்கள் பள்ளி இடைநிறுத்தம் செய்வதுண்டு. ஆனால் இத்தகைய குணமுள்ள ஆசிரியர்களை மாணவர்கள் தங்களது பிற்காலத்தில் பாராட்டுவதுண்டு. ஆம், தண்டனைகளால் திருத்த முடியாதவர்களை அன்பினால் திருத்த முடியும். இதனையே நமது தேவனும் செய்கின்றார். 

அவர் நமது பொல்லாத வழிகளுக்குத்தக்கதாகவும், கெட்ட கிரியைகளுக்குத்தக்கதாகவும் செய்யாமல், நமக்குக் கிருபை செய்ததால்தான் நாம் நிலைத்திருக்கின்றோம்.  "கர்த்தாவே, நீர் எனது அக்கிரமங்களைக் கவனித்திருப்பீரானால், நான் எப்படி நிலைநிற்பேன் ஆண்டவரே" என்று நமது பழைய பாவங்களை உணர்ந்து அவருக்கு நன்றிசொல்லி நன்றியுணர்வுடன் வாழ்வோம்.

Meditation - 2009

"AATHAVAN" – August 09, Sunday, 2026

"And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have wrought with you for my name's sake, not according to your wicked ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O ye house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD." (Ezekiel 20:44)

Today's meditation scripture presents words that clearly illustrate God's unique mercy. Instead of saying, "I will punish you according to your corrupt doings and wicked ways," God says, "I will extend grace to you; then you will know Me."

God’s words sound like a classroom teacher telling students: "Even if you do not study, even if you come without completing your homework, even if you score low marks, and even if you act disorderly, I will not punish you; thereby you will realize that I am a good teacher."

Yes, beloved, this verse brings home the magnitude of our God's mercy. Though God hates sin, He loves the sinner. That is why He longs for them to repent in whatever way possible and shows such gracious mercy. Therefore:

"He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities." (Psalm 103:10)

It was because He showed such mercy that David sang praises to Him in the Psalms, and the Apostle Paul was redeemed.

Paul arrested those who preached in the name of Christ, executed them, and laid waste to churches. When Stephen was stoned to death, Saul (who became Paul) consented to it. Yet, as today's meditation scripture says, God did not deal with him according to his wicked ways or corrupt doings; instead, He showed him grace.

None of us are pure or holy before God. We all stand only by His grace. That is why the Psalmist says:

"If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?" (Psalm 130:3)

The Apostle Paul affirms this very truth:

"Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)" (Ephesians 2:3-5)

Though what the teacher said earlier might sound strange, there is a strong possibility that many students could become good individuals through such a teacher. Generally, many students drop out of school out of fear of strict discipline. However, students often express deep appreciation for teachers with this kind of heart later in life. Yes, those who cannot be reformed by punishment can be transformed by love. This is precisely what our God does.

We endure and stand today because He has not dealt with us according to our wicked ways and corrupt doings, but has bestowed His grace upon us. Let us acknowledge our past sins, saying, "Lord, if You should mark my iniquities, how could I stand, O Lord?" and live a life filled with heartfelt gratitude to Him.

🦋 Meditation verse - வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 15 : 3 / Revelation 15:3

 தியானம் - 2008

"ஆதவன்"ஆகஸ்ட் 08 சனி 2026

"சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, தேவரீருடைய கிரியைகள் மகத்துவமும் ஆச்சரியமுமானவைகள்; பரிசுத்தவான்களின் ராஜாவே, தேவரீருடைய வழிகள் நீதியும் சத்தியமுமானவைகள்." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 15 : 3 )

நமது தேவன் சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.  அவருடைய அனைத்துச் செயல்களும் மகத்துவமும் ஆச்சரியமுமானவைகள். அவர்மேல் விசுவாசம்கொண்டு உறுதியாக அவரையே சார்ந்து வாழ்வோமானால் எந்நாளுமே அவருடைய உடனிருப்பையும் அதிசயமான வழிநடத்துதலையும் நாம் அனுபவிக்கலாம். அன்றாடம் தேவன் நமது வாழ்வில் செய்யும் அதிசயமான காரியங்கள் அவர்மேல் நமக்கு உறுதியான விசுவாசத்தை ஏற்படுத்தும். நாம் மற்றவர்கள் கூறுவதைக் கேட்டல்ல, மாறாக தேவனது அதிசய செயல்களை நாமே அனுபவித்து அவரை விசுவாசிக்கமுடியும். 

நாம் தேவனை விசுவாசித்து அவரிடம் ஜெபிக்கும்போது பலவேளைகளில் தேவன் நமது ஜெபத்துக்குப் பதில்தந்து  செயல்பட நாம் அவருக்கு நேரம் கொடுப்பதில்லை. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமக்கு  பிரச்சனையோ தேவையோ ஏற்படும்போது தேவனை நோக்கி வேண்டுகின்றோம். அப்படி வேண்டும் நாம் ஜெபத்துக்குப் பதிலளிக்க அவருக்குக் காத்திருக்கவேண்டும். அப்போது  அவர் நமது ஜெபத்துக்குப் பதிலளிக்கும் விதம் ஆச்சரியமானதாக  இருக்கும். அதனை ருசிக்கும் அனுபவம் நமக்கு வேண்டும்.

ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வு வாழும் அனைவருக்குமே இத்தகைய அனுபவம் இருக்கும். இதுபோல, இங்கிலாந்து தேசத்தில் வாழ்ந்த  ஜார்ஜ் முல்லர் (1805 - 18980) எனும் தேவ மனிதரைக்குறித்தும் அவரது விசுவாசம் குறித்தும்  பல செய்திகளை நாம் அறியலாம். விசுவாசமாக ஜெபிப்பது மட்டுமல்ல, ஜெபித்துவிட்டு எப்படியும் தேவன் இந்த ஜெபத்துக்குப் பதில் தருவார் என்று அவர் நம்புவார். மட்டுமல்ல, இன்று எந்த   அதிசய முறையில் தேவன் பதிலளிக்கப்போகின்றார்  என்று ஆவலுடன் அதிசயத்துக்குக் காத்திருக்கும் அனுபவமும் அதனைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளும் அருளையும் அவர் பெற்றிருந்தார். 

ஆயிரக்கணக்கான அனாதைக் குழந்தைகளை வெறும் விசுவாச ஜெபத்தால்  மட்டுமே தேவ உதவி பெற்று ஆதரித்து வந்தார் அவர். அவரது வாழ்வில் நடந்த பல  சம்பவங்களில் ஒன்று...

ஒரு முறை அவரது ஆசிரமத்துக் குழந்தைகளுக்கு காலை உணவு கொடுப்பதற்குப் பால் வாங்குவதற்கு அவரிடம் பணம் இல்லை. இங்கிலாந்து நாட்டில் பொதுவாக பாலும் ரொட்டியும்தான் முக்கிய உணவு. முல்லர் அதிகாலையிலேயே எழுந்து தேவனிடம் தனது தேவையினை முறையிட்டார். "ஆண்டவரே,உமது வார்த்தையின்படியே இந்தக் குழந்தைகளை ஆதரித்து வருகின்றேன். இன்று இக்குழந்தைகளுக்குக் கொடுப்பதற்கு பால் வாங்குவதற்குக்கூட என்னிடம் பணமில்லை. அன்பான ஆண்டவரே நீரே இந்தத் தேவையைப் பொறுப்பெடுத்துக்கொள்ளும். இந்தக் குழந்தைகளை உமது  பாதத்தில் ஒப்படைக்கிறேன்; பசியில்லாமல் பாதுகாத்துக்கொள்ளும்"  என்று ஜெபித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார். அவரது கண்களிலிருந்து கண்ணீர் வடிந்தது.

அப்போது அவரது ஜெப அறையின் கதவு தட்டப்பட்டது. முல்லர் எழுந்து வந்து கதவைத் திறந்து பார்த்தார். ஒரு மனிதன் நின்றுகொண்டிருந்தான். அவனிடம் விசாரித்தபோது அந்த மனிதன் கூறினான், "ஐயா, நான் பால் வண்டி (Milk Van)  ஓட்டக்கூடியவன்.  பக்கத்து நகருக்கு எனது பால் வண்டியில் தினசரி  இந்த வழியாகப் பால் கொண்டு செல்கின்றேன்.  இன்று எனது வண்டியின் அச்சாணி சரியாக உங்களது இந்த ஆசிரமத்து வாசலின் எதிரே வரும்போது உடைந்துவிட்டது. வண்டியைச் சரிசெய்ய வேண்டுமானால் வண்டியின் எடையினைக் குறைக்கவேண்டும்; எல்லா பாலையும் இறக்கவேண்டும். என்ன செய்வது என்று தடுமாறியபோது உங்களது ஆசிரமத்தின்  பெயர் பலகையினைப்  பார்த்தேன். இந்த ஆசிரமம் அருகில் இருப்பதால் உங்களிடம் வந்தேன். பெரிய பாத்திரங்களைக் கொண்டுவந்து பாலைப் பிடித்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்" என்றான். முல்லர் முழங்கால் படியிட்டு தேவனுக்கு நன்றி கூறினார்.

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, அன்று அவரது ஆசிரமத்துக் குழந்தைகளுக்கு வழக்கத்துக்கு  அதிகமான பால் கிடைத்தது. இதுபோல முல்லரின் ஆசிரமத்துப் பலத் தேவைகளை தேவன் அதிசயமாகச் சந்தித்து நடத்தினார். "காக்கை உட்காரப் பனம்பழம் விழுந்த கதை" என்று இதனைத் தள்ளிவிட முடியாது. காரணம், ஒருமுறையல்ல பல முறை இதுபோன்ற அதிசயங்கள் அவரது வாழ்வில் நடந்தன.  

ஆம், கர்த்தரது செயல்கள் ஆச்சரியமுமானவைகள்; அவருடைய  வழிகள் நீதியும் சத்தியமுமானவைகள். நீதி வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்து அவர்மேல் விசுவாசத்தோடு வாழ்வோமானால் இதுபோன்ற அதிசயங்கள் நமது வாழ்விலும் நடக்கும்.

"AATHAVAN" | August 08 | Saturday 2026

"Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints." (Revelation 15:3, KJV)

Our God is the Lord God Almighty. All His works are great and marvellous. If we believe in Him and live depending firmly upon Him, we can experience His presence and miraculous guidance every single day. The wonderful things God does daily in our lives build a firm faith in Him. We do not have to believe in Him based merely on what others say; rather, we can believe by personally experiencing His miraculous works ourselves.

When we believe in God and pray to Him, many times we do not give Him enough time to answer and work. Yes, dear friends, when a problem or a need arises, we look to God and pray. But after asking, we must wait on Him to answer that prayer. When we wait, the way He answers our prayer will be truly marvellous. We need that personal experience of tasting His goodness.

Everyone living a spiritual life will have such experiences. Similarly, we can learn many things about a man of God named George Müller (1805–1898), who lived in England, and about his great faith. He did not merely pray in faith; after praying, he wholeheartedly believed that God would answer the prayer no matter what. Not only that, he possessed the grace and the eager anticipation to wait and see in what miraculous way God was going to answer him that day.

He supported thousands of orphan children through pure prayers of faith, receiving help directly from God. Here is just one of the many incidents that took place in his life:

Once, he had no money to buy milk for the morning breakfast of the children in his orphanage. In England, milk and bread are generally the staple food. Müller woke up early in the morning and laid his need before God. Tears streamed from his eyes as he prayed: "Lord, according to Thy Word, I am supporting these children. Today, I do not even have money to buy milk for them. Loving Lord, take charge of this need Yourself. I surrender these children at Thy feet; protect them from hunger."

At that moment, there was a knock at his prayer room door. Müller got up and opened it. A man was standing there. Upon inquiring, the man said, "Sir, I drive a milk van. Every day I carry milk along this route to the neighbouring town. Today, the axle of my van broke right in front of your orphanage gate. To repair the vehicle, I must reduce its weight by unloading all the milk. As I wondered what to do, I saw the signboards of your orphanage. Since it was nearby, I came to you. Please bring large vessels and take all the milk." Müller immediately knelt down and gave thanks to God.

Yes, dear friends, on that day, the children at his orphanage received far more milk than usual. In this manner, God miraculously provided for many of the orphanage’s needs time and again. We cannot brush this off as a mere coincidence or a stroke of luck—because these miracles happened in his life not just once, but repeatedly.

Yes, the works of the Lord are marvellous, and His ways are just and true. If we live righteous lives and walk in faith toward Him, such miracles will happen in our lives as well.

🦋 Meditation verse - எரேமியா 18 : 6 / Jeremiah 18:6

"ஆதவன்"ஆகஸ்ட் 07 வெள்ளி 2026

"இஸ்ரவேல் குடும்பத்தாரே, இந்தக் குயவன் செய்ததுபோல நான் உங்களுக்குச் செய்யக்கூடாதோ என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; இதோ, இஸ்ரவேல் வீட்டாரே, களிமண் குயவன் கையில் இருக்கிறதுபோல நீங்கள் என் கையில் இருக்கிறீர்கள்." ( எரேமியா 18 : 6 )

இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களைத் தேவன் தனது சொந்த மக்களாகத் தெரிந்துகொண்டதால் அவர்களைத் தானே நடத்தினார். எனவே, அவர்கள் தேவனது கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்படியாதபோதெல்லாம் தேவன் அவர்களைத் தண்டித்துத் திருத்திட  பல்வேறு இராஜாக்களுக்கு அடிமைகளாக ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார். இப்படிப் பல்வேறு தருணங்களில் பல்வேறு அரசர்களுக்கு அவர்கள் அடிமைப்பட்டு அவதியுற்றனர். அப்போது தேவன் எரேமியா தீர்க்கதரிசிமூலம் அவர்களுக்கு அவர்களது துன்பத்துக்கான காரணத்தை விளக்கிக்கூறினார்.

இதனை எரேமியாவுக்குப் புரியவைத்திட அவரை குயவன் வீட்டிற்குப் போகுமாறு கூறினார் தேவன். அப்படி எரேமியா குயவன் வீட்டிற்குச் சென்றபோது குயவன் களிமண்ணினால் பானை வனைந்துகொண்டிருந்தான்.  "குயவன் வனைந்துகொண்டிருந்த மண்பாண்டம் அவன் கையிலே கெட்டுப்போயிற்று; அப்பொழுது அதைத் திருத்தமாய்ச் செய்யும்படிக்கு, தன் பார்வைக்குச் சரியாய்க் கண்டபடி குயவன் அதைத் திரும்ப வேறே பாண்டமாக வனைந்தான்." ( எரேமியா 18 : 4 )

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களைப்போலவே இன்று நாமும் களிமண்போல தேவனது கரத்தில் இருக்கின்றோம். நாம் அவர் விரும்பும் வடிவத்தில் சரியாக வரும்வரை தேவன் நம்மையும் தொடர்ந்து களிமண்ணை குயவன் மிதிப்பதுபோல மிதித்துச் சரிசெய்துகொண்டுதானிருப்பார். ஆம், "இப்பொழுதும் கர்த்தாவே, நீர் எங்களுடைய பிதா, நாங்கள் களிமண்; நீர் எங்களை உருவாக்குகிறவர், நாங்கள் அனைவரும் உமது கரத்தின் கிரியை." ( ஏசாயா 64 : 8 )

மனிதர்கள் இன்று பல்வேறு விதங்களில் துன்பப்பட மற்றவர்களைப்போலத் தாங்களும் இருக்கவேண்டும் என்று எண்ணுவதும் ஒரு காரணமாகும். நம்மைத் தேவன் எந்த நோக்கத்துக்காக உருவாக்க நினைக்கின்றாரோ அதனை மறந்தவர்களாக நாம் பலவேளைகளில் மற்றவர்களை நோக்கிப்பார்த்து அவர்களைப்போல மாறிட எண்ணுகின்றோம். இப்படித் தேவ நோக்கத்தைச் செய்யாமல் நமது சுய நோக்கத்தை நாம் விரும்புவதால் தேவன் நம்மை உருமாற்றி உருமாற்றி தனது நோக்கம் செய்பவர்களாக மாற்ற முயல்கின்றார். இது நமக்குத் துன்பமாகத் தெரிகின்றது.

இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "மிதிபட்ட ஒரே களிமண்ணினாலே குயவன் ஒரு பாத்திரத்தைக் கனமான காரியத்துக்கும், ஒரு பாத்திரத்தைக் கனவீனமான காரியத்துக்கும் பண்ணுகிறதற்கு மண்ணின்மேல் அவனுக்கு அதிகாரம் இல்லையோ?" ( ரோமர் 9 : 21 ) என்று கேட்கின்றார். நம்மைத்   திருத்தித் தனக்கு   உகந்தவர்களாக மாற்றிவனைந்திட பரம குயவனான தேவனுக்கு நம்மேல் எல்லா அதிகாரமும் உண்டு. 

தேவன் பலவேளைகளில் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வை மேம்படுத்தி நம்மை ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் உயர்த்திட விரும்புகின்றார். ஆனால் நாமோ மற்ற உலக மனிதர்களைப்பார்த்து அவர்களைப்போல மாறிட முயலுகின்றோம். எனவே நம்மைச் சீர்திருத்த குயவன் களிமண்ணை மிதித்துத் திருத்தி புதிய பாண்டமாக வனைவதுபோல தேவன் நம்மைத் திருத்தி  வனைகின்றார்.   

இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் எரேமியா மூலம் தேவன் நமக்கு உணர்த்துகின்றார். ஆம்,  குயவன் களிமண்ணுக்குச்  செய்ததுபோல நான் உங்களுக்குச் செய்யக்கூடாதோ என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; களிமண் குயவன் கையில் இருக்கிறதுபோல நீங்கள் என் கையில் இருக்கிறீர்கள் என்று நினைத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள் என்கின்றார் ஆண்டவர். 

நாம் நாமாக உலகத்தில் இல்லை. குயவனான அவரது கரத்தில் இருக்கின்றோம். எனவே நமது  சுய சித்தம் நிறைவேற்றிட முயலாமல் பரம   குயவன் சித்தத்துக்கு நம்மை முற்றிலும் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து வாழ்வோம். அப்போது நமது வாழ்க்கை மாறும். மற்ற உலக மனிதர்களைப் பார்க்காமல் தேவனையே நோக்கிப்பார்த்து வாழ்வோம்.

Meditation - 2007                                                     "AATHAVAN" | August 07 Friday 2026

"O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel." (Jeremiah 18:6, KJV)

Because God chose the people of Israel as His own, He led them Himself. Whenever they disobeyed His commandments, God disciplined and corrected them by surrendering them into captivity under various kings. Thus, on multiple occasions, they suffered in bondage under different rulers. During these times, God explained the underlying reason for their suffering through the prophet Jeremiah.

To illustrate this truth to Jeremiah, God instructed him to go down to the potter’s house. When Jeremiah arrived, he observed the potter fashioning a vessel from clay.

"And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it." (Jeremiah 18:4, KJV)

Yes, beloved, just like the people of Israel, we too are like clay in God's hand today. Until we take the exact shape He desires, God will continue to correct and refine us—just as a potter tread and works the clay into shape.

"But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand." (Isaiah 64:8, KJV)

One reason people endure various hardships today is their desire to conform to the world and be like others. We often forget the divine purpose for which God created us, looking to the people around us and striving to become like them. When we prioritize our self-will over His divine will, God reshapes us repeatedly until we yield to His purpose. To us, this painful refining process feels like suffering.

Addressing this, the Apostle Paul asks:

"Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?" (Romans 9:21, KJV)

As the Heavenly Potter, God possesses full authority over us to correct, shape, and remould us into vessels pleasing to Him.

God often longs to elevate our spiritual lives and deepen our walk with Him. Yet, we tend to gaze at worldly people and attempt to emulate them. Therefore, to discipline us, God works in our lives much like a potter who treads the clay to knead out impurities and remould it into a brand-new vessel.

This is the message God conveys to us through Jeremiah in today's meditation verse. The Lord asks whether He cannot deal with us as the potter does with the clay, reminding us that we are held firmly in His hands.

We do not belong to ourselves in this world; we are in the hands of the Potter. Let us stop striving to fulfil our own desires and instead surrender fully to the Heavenly Potter's will. Only then will our lives be transformed. Let us fix our eyes on God rather than conforming to the world around us.
