🦋 Meditation verse - தானியேல் 4 : 35 / Daniel 4:35

"விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1667                                           ஆதவன் 31.08.2025 ஞாயிறு   

"பூமியின் குடிகள் எல்லாம் ஒன்றுமில்லையென்று எண்ணப்படுகிறார்கள்; அவர் தமது சித்தத்தின்படியே வானத்தின் சேனையையும் பூமியின் குடிகளையும் நடத்துகிறார்; அவருடைய கையைத்தடுத்து, அவரை நோக்கி: என்ன செய்கிறீரென்று சொல்லத்தக்கவன் ஒருவனும் இல்லை" ( தானியேல் 4 : 35 )  

பாபிலோனின் ராஜாவாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் கூறிய வார்த்தைகளே இன்றைய தியான வசனமாகக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

நமது படிப்பும் திறமைகளும் நமக்கு நல்ல பொருள் சம்பாதிக்கும் வாய்ப்பினைத் தந்திருக்கலாம். ஆனால், அந்த நிலையில் நாம் தேவனை இரண்டாவது இடத்துக்குத் தள்ளி எனது சுயத் திறமையால்தான் இவைகளைச் சம்பாதித்தேன் என்று பெருமையாகக் கூறிக்கொள்ளுதல் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடைய செயலல்ல. 

இதுபோல, பொருளாதாரத்தில் நமது தாழ்ந்த நிலையும் சில நேரங்களில் நமக்கு வரும்  துன்பங்களும் வீழ்ச்சிகளும் நம்மை நாம் உணர்ந்து திருத்திக் கொள்வதற்காகவும்      இருக்கலாம்.  தேவன் சில வேளைகளில் அப்படி நாம் திருந்திட சில தாழ்நிலைமையை நமக்கு ஏற்படுத்துவார். அந்தத் தாழ்த்தப்பட்டத் தருணங்களை நாம் நமது மன மாற்றத்துக்குத் தேவன் தரும்  வாய்ப்பாக எண்ணிப்  பயன்படுத்தி நம்மைத் திருத்திக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்.  

பாபிலோனின் ராஜாவாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சாருக்கு ஒரு பெருமை எண்ணம் மனதில் இருந்தது. அவன் உண்டாக்கிய அரண்மனை, மாட மாளிகை இவைகளைப்பார்க்கும்போது அவனுக்குள் தனது வல்லமையினை எண்ணி பெருமை ஏற்பட்டது.  "இது என் வல்லமையின் பராக்கிரமத்தினால், என் மகிமைப்பிரதாபத்துக்கென்று, ராஜ்யத்துக்கு அரமனையாக நான் கட்டின மகா பாபிலோன் அல்லவா என்று சொன்னான்." ( தானியேல் 4 : 30 ) அவன் இந்த வார்த்தைகளைக் கூறவும் வானத்திலிருந்து தேவ சப்தம் உண்டாகி:- 

"மனுஷரினின்று தள்ளப்படுவாய்; வெளியின் மிருகங்களோடே சஞ்சரிப்பாய்; மாடுகளைப்போல் புல்லை மேய்வாய்; இப்படியே உன்னதமானவர் மனுஷருடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் ஆளுகை செய்து, தமக்குச் சித்தமாயிருக்கிறவனுக்கு அதைக் கொடுக்கிறாரென்பதை நீ அறிந்துகொள்ளுமட்டும் ஏழு காலங்கள் உன்மேல் கடந்துபோகும் என்று உனக்குச் சொல்லப்படுகிறது என்று கூறியது." ( தானியேல் 4 : 32 )

அப்படியே அவன் குறிப்பிட்ட காலம்வரை மாட்டைப்போலப்  புல்லைத் தின்றுகொண்டிருந்தான். அந்தத் தேவ சப்தம் கூறிய காலம் நிறைவுற்றபோது நேபுகாத்நேச்சாருக்கு புத்தி வந்தது. அதன்பின் அவன் இன்றைய தியானத்துக்குரிய வார்த்தைகளைக் கூறுகின்றான். என் கையின் பலத்தால் நான் கட்டி எழுப்பிய மகா பாபிலோன் அல்லவா? என்று பெருமையாகப் பேசியவன் இப்போது, "அவர் தமது சித்தத்தின்படியே வானத்தின் சேனையையும் பூமியின் குடிகளையும் நடத்துகிறார்; அவருடைய கையைத்தடுத்து, அவரை நோக்கி: என்ன செய்கிறீரென்று சொல்லத்தக்கவன் ஒருவனும் இல்லை" என்கின்றான்.  

அன்பானவர்களே இந்தத் தாழ்மை எப்போதும் நமக்கு இருக்கவேண்டும். நம்மால் செய்யக்கூடியது ஒன்றுமே இல்லை. அவர் நினைத்தால் நாம் எவ்வளவு மேலான நிலையில் இருந்தாலும் ஒரு நொடியில் கீழே தாழ்த்த முடியும். அதுபோல கீழ்நிலையில் இருக்கும் நம்மை ஒரு நொடிப்பொழுதில் உயர்த்தவும் முடியும். அவருக்கு அடங்கி அவருக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  

உபாகமத்தில் இதுபற்றி தேவன் மோசேமூலம் கூறுகின்றார், " என் சாமர்த்தியமும் என் கைப்பெலனும் இந்த ஐசுவரியத்தை எனக்குச் சம்பாதித்தது என்று நீ உன் இருதயத்தில் சொல்லிக்கொள்ளாமலும் இருக்க எச்சரிக்கையாயிருந்து, உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை நினைப்பாயாக; அவரே உன் பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடுத்த தம்முடைய உடன்படிக்கையை உறுதிப்படுத்தும்படி, இந்நாளில் உனக்கு உண்டாயிருக்கிறதுபோல, ஐசுவரியத்தைச் சம்பாதிக்கிறதற்கான பெலனை உனக்குக் கொடுக்கிறவர்." ( உபாகமம் 8 : 17, 18 )

நமது படிப்பு, குடும்ப பாராம்பரியம், நமது திறமை, சுய பலம், போன்ற  வீண் பெருமைகளை  விட்டு, தேவ பலத்தை நம்பி வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். "தம்முடைய புயத்தினாலே பராக்கிரமஞ்செய்தார்; இருதய சிந்தையில் அகந்தையுள்ளவர்களைச் சிதறடித்தார். பலவான்களை ஆசனங்களிலிருந்து தள்ளி, தாழ்மையானவர்களை உயர்த்தினார்." ( லுூக்கா 1 : 51,52 ) என்கின்றது தேவ வசனம்.

“Inside the Seeds” 🌳

Scripture Meditation No. 1667
AATHAVAN – Sunday, 31st August 2025

“And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?” (Daniel 4:35, KJV)

Today’s meditation verse is the confession of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon.

Our education and talents may give us opportunities to earn well and rise in life. But when we push God into the background and boast, “It is by my own skill and strength that I have gained this,” such pride does not please God.

At times, our low positions, struggles, and failures may actually be permitted by God to correct and humble us. He sometimes allows seasons of humiliation so that we may repent and amend our ways. Those moments of being brought low must be seen as God-given opportunities for transformation.

Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, was once filled with pride as he looked at the great palaces and gardens he had built. “Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?” (Daniel 4:30, KJV). But even as he spoke, a voice came from heaven:

“They shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.” (Daniel 4:32, KJV).

And so, it happened—he ate grass like oxen until the appointed time was fulfilled. Then his understanding returned, and he spoke today’s verse: the same man who had once gloried, “Is not this great Babylon which I built by my power?” now humbly confessed, “He doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?”

Beloved, this humility must always be in us. On our own, we can do nothing. No matter how high we rise, God can bring us low in a moment; likewise, He can lift the lowly in an instant. Therefore, it is necessary to yield and surrender ourselves fully to Him.

The Lord warned through Moses: “And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth. But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” (Deuteronomy 8:17–18, KJV).

Thus, we must set aside false pride in education, family background, ability, or self-strength, and live trusting in God’s strength alone. As it is written: “He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.” (Luke 1:51–52, KJV).
