 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,131        💚 மார்ச் 15, 2024 💚 வெள்ளிக்கிழமை

"உமது வேதம் என் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிராதிருந்தால், என்   துக்கத்திலே    அழிந்துபோயிருப்பேன்". (  சங்கீதம் 119 : 92 )

ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் உலகளவில் சுமார் 8,00,000 பேர் தற்கொலை செய்து கொள்கிறார்கள், இதில்  1,35,000 (17%) பேர் இந்தியாவில் வசிப்பவர்கள். சிந்தித்துப்பாருங்கள்,  உலக மக்கள் தொகையில் இந்திய மக்கள்தொகை 17.5%. ஆனால், நம்  நாட்டில் உலக அளவில் 17% மக்கள் தற்கொலை செய்து  மடிகின்றனர்.  1987 மற்றும் 2007 க்கு இடையில், தற்கொலை  விகிதம் 1,00,000 பேருக்கு 10 பேர் என இருந்தது என்கின்றன புள்ளிவிபரங்கள்.  

இந்தத் தற்கொலைகளுக்குப் பல்வேறு காரணங்கள் இருக்கலாம். ஆனால் எல்லா தற்கொலை மரணங்களும் மனம் சோர்வடைதல் மற்றும் நம்பிக்கை இல்லாமை இவற்றாலேயே நிகழ்கின்றன.  அதாவது இந்த மக்களுக்கு நம்பிக்கையளிக்க யாருமே இல்லாத  நிலைதான் காரணமாக இருக்கின்றது.

ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் துன்பங்கள் உண்டு. சிலர் அவைகளைத் சகித்து வாழ்கின்றனர். சிலர் தாங்கமுடியாமல் தற்கொலையை நாடுகின்றனர். எனது வாழ்விலும் ஒருகாலத்தில் எதிர்காலத்தைப்பற்றி எந்த ஒரு நம்பிக்கையும்  இல்லாமல், வேலை வாய்ப்புக்கள் இல்லாமல், என்னசெய்வது என அறியாமல்தான் இருந்தேன்.  அந்த  வேளையில்தான் என்னைவிட 10 வயது இளையவரான ஒரு சகோதரன் மூலம் கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்து ஏற்றுக்கொண்டேன். எனவே அப்போது எனக்கு ஒரே நம்பிக்கையாய் இருந்தவை தேவனது வார்த்தைகள்தான். 

இன்றைய வசனம் எனது வாழ்க்கைக்கு நூறு சதவிகிதம் பொருத்தக்கூடிய வசனம். ஆம், வேதம் என் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிராதிருந்தால், என் துக்கத்திலே அழிந்துபோயிருப்பேன். இன்று இந்த வேதாகமத் தியானங்களை எழுதிக்கொண்டிருந்திருக்க மாட்டேன்.  

இன்று பெரியவர்களது தற்கொலை மட்டுமல்ல, சிறு  குழந்தைகளது தற்கொலையும் அதிக அளவில் நடைபெறுகின்றது.தேர்வில் மதிப்பெண் குறைந்ததால் தற்கொலை, தேர்வை  சந்திக்கப்பயந்து தற்கொலை, ஆசைப்பட்டப்   படிப்பைப்  படிக்க முடியாததால் தற்கொலை, மற்ற மாணவர்கள்  வைத்துள்ளதுபோல பைக், செல்போன் போன்றவைகள்  தங்களுக்கு இல்லாததால் தற்கொலை எனக் குழந்தைகள்  தற்கொலைப் பட்டியல் காரணங்கள்  நீண்டுகொண்டிருக்கின்றன. 

கடன்தொல்லைகள், காதல் தோல்விகள், வேலையில்லாமை இவை வயதுவந்தோர்த்  தற்கொலைக்குக் காரணமாகின்றன.  எனவே, குழந்தைப்  பருவத்திலேயே நமது  குழந்தைகளது மனதில் வேத வசனங்களை பதிய  வைக்கவேண்டும். அந்த வசனங்கள்  அவர்களது நம்பிக்கையை  உறுதிப்படுத்தும்,  மட்டுமல்ல அவர்கள் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்ற ஒரு  வாழ்க்கைவாழ உதவிசெய்யும்.

அன்பானவர்களே, தேவனது வார்த்தைகள் பொய் சொல்வதில்லை. தேவனது கரத்தினுள் நம்மை ஒப்படைத்துவிட்டால் அவர்  நிச்சயமாக நம்மைப் பாதுகாத்து நடத்துவார். எந்தவித துன்ப  சூழ்நிலையிலும் ஆறுதல் அளிக்கக்கூடிய வசனம் வேதத்தில்  உண்டு. இப்படி ஆறுதல் அளிக்கும் வசனத்தைகளைத் தங்கள்  வாழ்வில் காணாத மக்கள்தான் தற்கொலை செய்து  மடிக்கின்றனர். 

தாவீது வாழ்வில் பல்வேறு துன்பங்களை அனுபவித்தவர். எந்தவேளையும் அவரது  உயிர் சவுலால் வேட்டையாடப்படலாம்  என்ற  சூழ்நிலை.  பலமுறை சவுல் தாவீதைக் கொன்றுவிடக்கூடிய  நெருக்கமான நிலை ஏற்பட்டது. ஆனால் தாவீது தேவனையே  முழுவதுமாகப் பற்றிக்கொண்டார்.  எந்தச் சூழ்நிலையிலும்  தேவன் தன்னோடு இருப்பதை அவர்  நம்பினார். எனவேதான்  கூறுகின்றார்,"நான் மரண இருளின் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே நடந்தாலும்பொல்லாப்புக்குப் பயப்படேன்; தேவரீர் என்னோடேகூட  இருக்கிறீர்; உமது  கோலும் உமது தடியும் என்னைத் தேற்றும்". (  சங்கீதம் 23 : 4 ) அவர் அறிக்கையிட்டதுபோல தேவனது கோலும்  கைத்தடியுமான வார்த்தைகள்  அவரைத் தேற்றின.

நமது தேவன் இல்லாதவர்களை இருக்கின்றதாய்  மாற்றுகின்றவர், ஒன்றுமில்லாமையிலிருந்து இந்த  அண்டசராசரங்களைப் படைத்தவர் அவர். தேவனது  வார்த்தையால் அனைத்தும் அசைகின்றன. அவருக்குள் நாம்  உயிர்வாழ்கின்றோம். எனவே எந்த இக்கட்டுவந்தாலும் தேவனை உறுதியாகப்பற்றிக்கொண்டு வாழ்வோம். 

தற்கொலை எனும் குறுகிய அவசர வழி நமது பிரச்னைகளுக்குத்  தீர்வல்ல என்பதை சோர்ந்துபோயிருக்கும் நமது சகோதரர்களுக்கு உணர்த்துவோம். கிறிஸ்துவின் ஆறுதலாளிக்கும் வார்த்தைகளால் அவர்களுக்குத் திடனாளிப்போம். அப்போது அவர்கள் ஒருநாள், "நான் ஒருபோதும் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை மறக்கமாட்டேன்; அவைகளால் நீர் என்னை உயிர்ப்பித்தீர்". (  சங்கீதம் 119 : 93 )  என்று அவர்களும் பிறருக்குத் தேவனைக்குறித்துச்   சாட்சிக்  கூறுவார்கள்.

"Unless thy law had been my delight, I should then have perished in my affliction." (Psalms 119:92)

About 8,00,000 people commit suicide worldwide every year, of which 1,35,000 (17%) are residents of India. Just think, India's population is 17.5% of the world's population. But, in our country, 17% of the world's suicides occur. Statistics show that between 1987 and 2007, the suicide rate was 10 per 100,000 people.

There can be a variety of reasons for these suicides. But all suicide deaths are due to mental exhaustion and a lack of hope. This means that there is no one to comfort these people.

Everyone has suffered. Some manage and live with them. Some can't bear it and resort to suicide. At one point in my life, I was without any hope for the future, without any job opportunities, and without knowing what to do. It was then that I came to know and accept Christ through a brother nearly 10 years younger than me. So, the only hope I had at that time was God's words.

Today's verse is one hundred percent applicable to my life. Yes, if the scriptures had not been my joy, I would have perished in my sorrow. I would not be writing these scripture meditations today.

Today, not only adults commit suicide, but suicides of young children are also common. The list of reasons for children's suicide is long: suicide due to low marks in the exam, suicide about fear of the exam, suicide due to not being able to study the desired course, suicide because they do not have a bike, cell phone, etc. as other students have.

Debt problems, love failures, and unemployment are the leading causes of adult suicide. Therefore, we should inculcate the scriptures in our children's minds at an early age. Those verses will not only confirm their faith but also help them live a godly life.

Beloved, God's words do not lie. If we put ourselves in God's hands, He will surely protect us. There is a verse in the Bible that can provide comfort in any situation of suffering. People who do not find such comforting verses in their lives commit suicide.

David experienced many hardships in his life. A situation where his life might be hunted by Saul. Many times, Saul came close to killing David. But David clung to God completely. He believed that God was with him in any situation. That is why he says,
"Yeah, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff comfort me." (Psalms 23:4) As he reported, God's rod and staff words pleased him.

Our God is the one who makes the non-existent into being, the one who created these universes out of nothingness. All things move by the word of God. In Him we live. So, let's live with a firm hold on God, no matter what comes.

Let us make our tired brothers realise that the short cut of suicide is not the solution to problems. Let us comfort them with the comforting words of Christ. Then one day they will say, "I will never forget thy precepts, for with them thou hast quickened me." (Psalms 119:93) They will also testify to others about God.
