கர்த்தருடைய கை குறுகியிருக்கிறதோ?/ IS THE LORD'S HAND WAXED SHORT?

ஆதவன் 🔥 960🌻 செப்டம்பர் 14, 2023 வியாழக்கிழமை 

"இங்கே ஒரு பையன் இருக்கிறான், அவன் கையில் ஐந்து வாற்கோதுமை அப்பங்களும் இரண்டு மீன்களும் உண்டு, ஆனாலும் அவைகள் இத்தனை ஜனங்களுக்கு எம்மாத்திரம்?"  ( யோவான் 6 : 9 )

ஒருமுறை இயேசு கிறிஸ்து மக்களுக்கு போதித்தபோது திரளான மக்கள் கூட்டம் அவரது போதனையைக் கேட்கக் கூடியது. அவர்களது ஆன்மீக பசிக்கு உணவளித்த இயேசு, அவர்களது வயிற்றுப் பசிக்கும் உணவிட எண்ணினார். எனவே தனது சீடனாகிய பிலிப்புவிடம், "இந்த மக்களுக்கு சாப்பிட அப்பங்களை நாம் எங்கே வாங்கலாம்? என்று கேட்கின்றார். தான் செய்யப்போகும் அற்புதத்தை அறிந்தே இயேசு இப்படிக் கேட்டார். அப்போது பிலிப்பு, "இருநூறு பணத்துக்கு அப்பம் வாங்கினாலும் இவர்களுக்குப் போதாதே என்றார். 

இதனைக் கேட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்த இன்னொரு சீடனான அந்திரேயா, "இங்கே ஒரு பையன் இருக்கிறான், அவன் கையில் ஐந்து வாற்கோதுமை அப்பங்களும் இரண்டு மீன்களும் உண்டு, ஆனாலும் அவைகள் இத்தனை ஜனங்களுக்கு எம்மாத்திரம்?" என்றார். 

அன்பானவர்களே, "இத்தனை ஜனங்களுக்கு எம்மாத்திரம்?" "இருநூறு பணத்துக்கு வாங்கினாலும் போதாதே" என்று தேவனது வல்லமையினை அறியாமல் சீடர்கள் அன்று கூறியதுபோல, நாமும் சிலவேளைகளில்  கூறிக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றோம். அதாவது நாம் தேவனையும் அவரது வல்லமையினையும் பெரிதாக பார்க்காமல் பிரச்சினையையே பெரிதாக எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றோம்.  எனவே நம்மால் தேவனால் இதனைச் செய்து முடிக்க முடியுமென்று நம்ப முடிவதில்லை. அனால் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து அந்த இரண்டு மீனையும் ஐந்து அப்பத்தையும் கொண்டு ஐயாயிரம் பேருக்கு உணவளித்ததுமின்றி பன்னிரண்டு கூடை நிறைய அப்பங்களும் மிஞ்சியிருக்கும்படி அற்புதம் செய்தார். 

இதுபோலவே அன்று இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களும், எகிப்தில் நாங்கள் அடிமைகளாய் இருந்தாலும் இறைச்சியைச் சாப்பிட்டுத் திருப்தியாக இருந்து  வந்தோம். இந்த வனாந்தரத்தில் எங்களுக்கு இறைச்சியைக் கொடுப்பவர் யார் என்று அழுதார்கள். ( எண்ணாகமம் 11) மோசே கர்த்தரை நோக்கி முறையிட்டார். அதற்குக் கர்த்தர், "நீங்கள் ஒரு நாள் இரண்டு நாளல்ல, ஒரு மாதமளவும் இறைச்சியைச் சாப்பிடுவீர்கள் என்றார்.  

இதனை மோசேயாலேயே நம்ப முடியவில்லை. இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் சீடர்கள் கூறியதுபோலவே மோசேயும் கூறினார்.  "என்னோடிருக்கிற காலாட்கள் ஆறுலட்சம்பேர்; ஒரு மாதம் முழுவதும் புசிக்கும்படி அவர்களுக்கு இறைச்சி கொடுப்பேன் என்று சொன்னீரே. ஆடுமாடுகளை அவர்களுக்காக அடித்தாலும் அவர்களுக்குப் போதுமா? சமுத்திரத்து மச்சங்களையெல்லாம் அவர்களுக்காகச் சேர்த்தாலும் அவர்களுக்குப் போதுமா என்றான்."( எண்ணாகமம் 11 : 21, 22 )

"அதற்குக் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: கர்த்தருடைய கை குறுகியிருக்கிறதோ? என் வார்த்தையின்படி நடக்குமோ நடவாதோ என்று. நீ இப்பொழுது காண்பாய் என்றார்." ( எண்ணாகமம் 11 : 23 ) அதுபோல அந்த மக்கள் சாப்பிட தேவையான இறைச்சியைக் கொடுத்தார். 

அன்பானவர்களே, கர்த்தரது கை குறுகிய கையல்ல. அதனை நாம் விசுவாசிக்கவேண்டும். "போதாதே". "எம்மாத்திரம்", "போதுமா?", "முடியுமா?"  என்று நாம் அவிசுவாசமாகக்  கூறிக்கொண்டிருக்கவேண்டியதில்லை. 

நமது மாத வருமானம் குறைவாக இருக்கலாம், உடல்நிலை பலவீனமாக இருக்கலாம், தீராத வியாதி அல்லது மருத்துவர்களால் இனி பிழைக்கவைக்க முடியாது என்று கைவிடப்பட்ட நிலையிலிருக்கலாம். எந்த நிலையிலும் விசுவாசத்தை விடாமல் கர்த்தரையே நோக்கிப் பார்ப்போம். அப்போது, "கர்த்தருடைய கை குறுகியிருக்கிறதோ? என் வார்த்தையின்படி நடக்குமோ நடவாதோ என்று. நீ இப்பொழுது காண்பாய்." என்று கூறி நமக்கு அற்புதம் செய்யும் இயேசுவின் கரத்தை நாம் காண முடியும்.

IS THE LORD'S HAND WAXED SHORT?

"There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?" (John 6: 9)

Once when Jesus Christ was preaching to the people, a large crowd gathered to listen to his teaching. Having fed their spiritual hunger, Jesus intended to feed their stomach hunger as well. So, he asked his disciple Philip, "Where can we buy bread for these people to eat?" Jesus asked this knowing the miracle he was about to perform. Then Philip said, "Even if we buy two hundred pennyworths of bread, it will not be enough for these people”.

Another disciple, Andrew, who was listening to this, said, “here is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?”

Beloved, many times we are saying like these disciples without knowing the power of God.  “It will not be enough for these people”, “what are they among so many?”.   That is, we do not consider God and His power seriously, but consider our problem seriously. So, we cannot believe that God can accomplish this. But Jesus Christ not only fed five thousand people with those two fish and five loaves, but also miraculously left over twelve baskets of loaves.

In the same way, the people of Israel said we were satisfied with eating meat even though we were slaves in Egypt. We want to meat, "Who will give us meat in this wilderness?" (Numbers 11) Moses appealed to the Lord. And the Lord said, "You will not eat meat for a day or two, but for a month."

Even Moses could not believe this. Moses also said the same as the disciples of Jesus Christ said in today's meditation verse. He said, "The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month. Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to suffice them?" (Numbers 11: 21, 22)

"And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD'S hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.” (Numbers 11: 23) He also gave the people the meat they needed to eat as He said.

Beloved, God's hand is not short. We must believe it. "Not enough". "How is it?", "Enough?", "Can we?" We do not have to say that in disbelief.

Our monthly income may be low, our health may be weak, we may have an incurable disease or we may be abandoned by doctors who cannot help us anymore. Let us look to the Lord without giving up faith in any situation. We can see the hand of Jesus working miracles for us. “Is the LORD'S hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not” says Jesus.
