ஆதவன் 🔥 975🌻 செப்டம்பர் 29, 2023 வெள்ளிக்கிழமை

"ஆனாலும் சீயென்றிகழப்படத்தக்கதும் அருவருக்கப்படத் தக்கதுமான தங்கள் இருதயத்தின் இச்சையிலே எவர்கள் நடக்கிறார்களோ அவர்களுடைய வழியின் பலனை அவர்கள் தலைகளின்மேல் சுமரப்பண்ணுவேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்." ( எசேக்கியேல் 11 : 21 )

நமது தேவன் பரிசுத்தத்தை விரும்புகின்றவர். நாம் செய்யும் எந்த ஜெபத்தையும், காணிக்கைகளையும்விட அவர் நமது பரிசுத்தத்தை விரும்புகின்றார். "யாவரோடும் சமாதானமாயிருக்கவும், பரிசுத்தமுள்ளவர்களாயிருக்கவும் நாடுங்கள்; பரிசுத்தமில்லாமல் ஒருவனும் கர்த்தரைத் தரிசிப்பதில்லையே." ( எபிரெயர் 12 : 14 ) என்று நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். நமது கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும் இதனால்தான் தனது மலைப் பிரசங்கத்தில், "இருதயத்தில் சுத்தமுள்ளவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்; அவர்கள் தேவனைத் தரிசிப்பார்கள்." ( மத்தேயு 5 : 8 ) என்று கூறினார். 

மனிதனது இருதய சிந்தனைகள் பொதுவாகவே அவலட்சணமானவைகள். இதனால்தான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறினார், "எப்படியெனில், இருதயத்திலிருந்து பொல்லாத சிந்தனைகளும், கொலைபாதகங்களும், விபசாரங்களும், வேசித்தனங்களும், களவுகளும், பொய்ச்சாட்சிகளும், தூஷணங்களும் புறப்பட்டுவரும். இவைகளே மனுஷனைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தும்;" ( மத்தேயு 15 : 19, 20 )

எனவேதான் இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுகின்றது, "சீயென்றிகழப்படத்தக்கதும் அருவருக்கப்படத் தக்கதுமான தங்கள் இருதயத்தின் இச்சையிலே எவர்கள் நடக்கிறார்களோ அவர்களுடைய வழியின் பலனை அவர்கள் தலைகளின்மேல் சுமரப்பண்ணுவேன்". அதாவது இப்படி நடக்கும் மனிதர்களது நடக்கையின் பயனை அவர்கள் அனுபவிப்பார்கள். 

நமது வாழ்வில் எவ்வளவு ஜெபித்தும், ஜெபக்கூட்டங்களில் கலந்துகொண்டும், காணிக்கைகளைக் கொடுத்தும்  மாற்றங்கள் ஏற்படவில்லையா? அப்படியானால் நமது இருதயத்தை நாம் சீர்தூக்கிப் பார்க்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். காரணம் இதயமானது மகா திருக்குள்ளதாய் இருக்கின்றது. இன்றைய செய்தித் தாள்களில் வரும் செய்திகளைப் படித்துப் பார்த்தால் நூற்றுக்கு தொண்ணூறு சதவிகித கொலைகளும் கற்பழிப்புகளும், சொத்துச் சண்டைகளும், நீதிமன்ற வழக்குகளும் மனிதர்களது இருதயத்தின் இச்சையினால்தான் என்பது புரியும். 

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, நமது இதயமானது உலக இச்சைகளினால் மூழ்கி அழிந்துவிடாமல் காத்துக்கொள்வோம். எந்தவித உலக ஆசை நம்மில் அதிகரித்தாலும் அது இச்சைதான். "எல்லாக் காவலோடும் உன் இருதயத்தைக் காத்துக்கொள், அதினிடத்தினின்று ஜீவவூற்று புறப்படும்." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 4 : 23 ) என்கிறார் கர்த்தர். 

இருதயத்தை நாம் காத்துக்கொள்ளும் போதுதான் பரிசுத்த வாழ்க்கையை நோக்கி நாம் முன்னேறமுடியும். " நான் பரிசுத்தர்; ஆகையால். நீங்களும் பரிசுத்தராயிருப்பீர்களாக." ( லேவியராகமம் 11 : 45 ) என்கிறார் பரிசுத்தராகிய கர்த்தர்.

"But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD." (Ezekiel 11: 21)

Our God loves holiness. He desires our holiness above all our prayers and offerings. "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:" (Hebrews 12: 14) we read. This is why our Lord Jesus Christ said in his Sermon on the Mount, "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God." (Matthew 5: 8) He said.

The thoughts of man's heart are usually filthy. This is why Jesus Christ said, "For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.' (Matthew 15: 19, 20)

That is why today's verse says, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD." That is, they will bear the  benefit of their deceitful behavior.

No matter how much we pray, attend prayer meetings, and give offerings, if no changes are made in our lives, it is useless. So, it is necessary for us to correct our heart. Because the heart is very twisted. If you read the news in today's newspapers, you will understand that ninety percent of the murders, rapes, property disputes and court cases are due to the lust of the human heart.

So beloved, let us guard against our hearts not being consumed by worldly desires and perishing. Whatever worldly desire grows in us is lust. "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." (Proverbs 4: 23) says the Lord.

Only when we guard the heart can we progress towards a holy life. "ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy." (Leviticus 11: 45) says the Holy Lord.
