சாத்தான் கேட்கிறான் ..நீங்கள் யார்? / SATAN ASKS... WHO ARE YOU?

"இயேசுவை அறிவேன், பவுலையும் அறிவேன், நீங்கள் யார் என்று சொல்லி, பொல்லாத ஆவியையுடைய மனுஷன் அவர்கள்மேல் பாய்ந்து, பலாத்காரம்பண்ணி, அவர்களை மேற்கொள்ள, அவர்கள் நிருவாணிகளும் காயப்பட்டவர்களுமாகி அந்த வீட்டை விட்டு ஓடிப்போனார்கள்." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 19 : 15, 16 )

பெயரளவில் மட்டுமே இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்துகொண்டு தங்களைக் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொள்ளும் மக்களுக்கு இன்றைய வசனம் ஒரு எச்சரிப்பாகும். நாங்கள் பரம்பரைக் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொண்டு ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கையோ கிறிஸ்துவை அறியவேண்டுமெனும் ஆர்வமோ இல்லாமல் வாழும் மக்கள் இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுவதுபோல இக்கட்டுகளில் மாட்டிக்கொள்ள அதிக வாய்ப்புண்டு. 

கிறிஸ்துவின் சரித்திரமும் அவர் செய்த புதுமைகளும் புனிதர்களது வரலாறுகளும் தெரிவது மட்டும் கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்க்கையல்ல. மரித்துப்போன மிஷனரி பணியாளர்களைப்பற்றி பெருமை பேசி, "எங்கள் சபையை உருவாக்கியவர் அவர்தான்" என்று  கூறிக்கொண்டிருப்போமானால் நாம் நம்மையே ஏமாற்றிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறோம் என்று பொருள்.  

அப்போஸ்தலராகிய பவுல் செய்த அதிசய அற்புதங்களைக்கண்ட மந்திரவாதிகளாகிய சிலர் பவுல் பிரசங்கிக்கும் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் பெயரால் தாங்களும் பேய்களை ஓட்ட முடியுமென்று எண்ணி அவமானப்பட்டதுபோல நமது வாழ்க்கை ஆகிவிடக்கூடாது. 

அவர்களுக்கு பவுல் பிரசங்கித்த இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றி தெரிந்திருந்ததேயல்லாமல்  பவுலுக்கும் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குமுள்ள தொடர்போ, பவுலடிகளின் பரிசுத்த வாழ்க்கையோ அவரது ஜெப வாழ்க்கையோ தெரிந்திருக்கவில்லை. எனவே கிறிஸ்துவின் பெயரைக் கூறினால் பேய்கள் ஓடிவிடும் என்று எண்ணிக்கொண்டனர். 

தேவனுக்கு நமது வாழ்கையினைப்பற்றி தெரிவதைப்போல சாத்தானுக்கும் தெரியம்.  எனவே பிச்சாசுப்பிடித்தவன் அந்த மந்திரவாதிகளை நோக்கி, "இயேசுவை அறிவேன், பவுலையும் அறிவேன், நீங்கள் யார்" என்று  கேள்வி கேட்டான். மட்டுமல்ல  அவன் அவர்கள்மேல் பாய்ந்து, பலாத்காரம்பண்ணி, அவர்களை மேற்கொள்ள, அவர்கள் நிருவாணிகளும் காயப்பட்டவர்களுமாகி அந்த வீட்டை விட்டு ஓடிப்போனார்கள் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.

அன்பானவர்களே, கிறிஸ்துவின் பெயரைமட்டும் அறிந்துகொண்டு நாங்களும் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொண்டு வாழ்வோமானால் இப்படி நமக்கும் சம்பவிக்கலாம். பேய் மட்டுமல்ல, வியாதிகள், துன்பங்கள், பிரச்சனைகள் இவைகள் எல்லாமே நம்மை மேற்கொண்டுவிடும். நாம் சரியான வாழ்க்கை வாழாமல் ஜெபித்துக்கொண்டு மட்டும் இருப்போமானால், பிசாசு பிடித்த மனிதனிடம்  கேட்டதுபோல சாத்தான் நம்மைப்பார்த்தும் கேள்வி கேட்பான். "இயேசுவை அறிவேன், நீங்கள் யார்"

கிறிஸ்துவை நமது வாழ்வில் அறிந்துகொண்டு, அவரை இரட்சகராக ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு அவருக்கேற்ற பரிசுத்த வாழ்வு வாழ்வோமானால் மட்டுமே சாத்தானால் நம்மைக் கேள்விகேட்க முடியாது. பெயருக்காகவும், கடமைக்காகவும் கிறிஸ்துவை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வோமானால் நாம் பரிதபிக்கக்கூடியவர்களாகவே இருப்போம்.

"And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded". ( Acts 19 : 15, 16 )

Today's verse is a warning to people who only know Jesus Christ in name and call themselves Christians. People who claim to be traditional Christians and live without a spiritual life or desire to know Christ are more likely to get caught in these traps as today's verse says.

A good Christian life is not only knowing the history of Christ and his miracles; it is not about knowing the histories of the saints. if we boast about dead missionaries and say, "He is the one who built our church", we are deceiving ourselves.

If we are so, our life would become pitiable like the exorcists who saw the miraculous deeds performed by the apostle Paul, and acted like Paul, thinking that they too can cast out demons in the name of Jesus Christ preached by Paul.

They only knew the name of Jesus Christ preached by Paul, but did not know the relationship between Paul and Christ, the holy life of the Paul or his prayer life. So, they thought that by saying the name of Christ the demons would flee.

Satan knows just as God knows about our lives. So, the demon possessed man asked, " Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?" Moreover, it is said that he leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

Beloved, if we know the name of Christ and live claiming to be Christians, this can happen to us too. Not only ghosts, but diseases, sufferings, problems, all these things will overcome us. If we do not live a righteous life but only pray, Satan will question us like he asked the exorcists "Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?"

Only when we know Christ in our lives, accept Him as Savior and live a holy life according to Him, Satan cannot question us. If we accept Christ for namesake, we will be pitiable.
