ஆதவன் 🔥 913🌻 ஜூலை 29, 2023 சனிக்கிழமை

"உமது ஜனங்களை நியாயம் விசாரிக்கவும், நன்மை தீமை இன்னதென்று வகையறுக்கவும், அடியேனுக்கு ஞானமுள்ள இருதயத்தைத் தந்தருளும்; ஏராளமாயிருக்கிற இந்த உமது ஜனங்களை நியாயம் விசாரிக்க யாராலே ஆகும் என்றான்." ( 1 இராஜாக்கள் 3 : 9 )

இன்றைய வசனம் சாலமோன் அரசர் தேவனிடம் செய்த விண்ணப்பமாகும். இந்த விண்ணப்பத்தைத் தேவன் அங்கீகரித்தார்;  தனக்கு நீடித்த வாழ்வையோ  செல்வத்தையோ எதிரி ராஜாக்களின் மீது வெற்றிபெற்று வாழ்வதையோ கேட்காமல் இப்படி ஞானமுள்ள இருதயத்தைத் தாரும் என சாலமோன் விண்ணப்பம் செய்தது தேவனுக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியளித்தது. 

எனவே, தேவன் அவனிடம், இப்படி நீ விண்ணப்பம் செய்ததால்.  "உன் வார்த்தைகளின்படி செய்தேன்; ஞானமும் உணர்வுமுள்ள இருதயத்தை உனக்குத் தந்தேன்; இதிலே உனக்குச் சரியானவன் உனக்குமுன் இருந்ததுமில்லை, உனக்குச் சரியானவன் உனக்குப்பின் எழும்புவதுமில்லை." ( 1 இராஜாக்கள் 3 : 12 ) என்று வாக்களித்தார்.

அன்பானவர்களே, சாலமோன் செய்த இந்த விண்ணப்பம் தேவனுக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியூட்டியது; அதனால் அதற்குத் தேவன்  செவிகொடுத்தார் என்றாலும் அது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கைக்குரிய வேண்டுதல் அல்ல. நூறு சதவிகிதம் உலகம் சார்ந்த விண்ணப்பம் அது. அதனால் இரண்டுமுறை தேவன் சாலமோனை சந்தித்துப் பேசியபின்பும் அவனால் தாவீதைப்போல ஒரு சிறப்பான வாழ்க்கையினை வாழ முடியவில்லை. அவன்  தனது தகப்பன் தாவீதைவிட அதிகம் செல்வத்தினை சம்பாதித்தான்; ஆனால் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் தோல்வியடைந்து இறுதியில் கர்த்தரை விட்டு பின்மாறிப்போனான். 

இன்று நம்மில் பலரும் சாலமோனைப்போலவே ஜெபிக்கிறோம். எனது குழந்தைகள் ஞானத்திலும் அறிவிலும் வளரவேண்டுமென்று வேண்டுதல் செய்கின்றோம். இது நல்ல விண்ணப்பம்போலத் தெரிந்தாலும் ஆவிக்குரிய விண்ணப்பமல்ல. எல்லா உலக மனிதர்களும் இதுபோலவே தங்கள் குழந்தைகள் ஞானமும் அறிவுமுள்ளவர்களாக வாழவேண்டுமென்றுதான் ஜெபிக்கின்றார்கள்.

கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொள்ளும் நமக்கு உண்மையில் தேவையானது பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் வழிகாட்டுதல். அவரே நம்மைச் சரியாகப்   போதித்து வழி நடத்திட முடியும். அவரே நமக்கு மெய்  ஞானத்தைத்தந்தருள முடியும். ஆம் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் வரங்களில் ஒன்றுதான் ஞானம். அந்த பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரே "பாவத்தைக்குறித்தும், நீதியைக்குறித்தும், நியாயத்தீர்ப்பைக்குறித்தும், உலகத்தைக் கண்டித்து உணர்த்துவார்." ( யோவான் 16 : 8 ) என்கின்றார் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து.

மேலும், "என் நாமத்தினாலே பிதா அனுப்பப்போகிற பரிசுத்த ஆவியாகிய தேற்றரவாளனே எல்லாவற்றையும் உங்களுக்குப் போதித்து, நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொன்ன எல்லாவற்றையும் உங்களுக்கு நினைப்பூட்டுவார்." ( யோவான் 14 : 26 ) என்று கூறியுள்ளார். 

அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் ஜெபிக்கவேண்டியது சாலமோனைப்போல ஞானத்துக்காக அல்ல; மாறாக ஞானத்தின் ஊற்றாகிய பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் அபிஷேகத்துக்காகவே. அவர் நமக்குள் வரும்போது நாம் ஞானவானாக மாறிட முடியும்.  உலக ஞானிகளால் அன்று ஸ்தேவானை எதிர்த்துத் தர்க்கம் செய்ய முடியவில்லை. இதனை நாம் அப்போஸ்தலர்ப்பணி நூலில் வாசிக்கின்றோம்:- "அவன் பேசின ஞானத்தையும் ஆவியையும் எதிர்த்துநிற்க அவர்களால் கூடாமற்போயிற்று." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 6 : 10 ) என்று. 

அன்பானவர்களே, ஞானத்துக்காக அல்ல; ஞானத்தின் ஊற்றாகிய பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் அபிஷேகத்துக்காக சிறப்பாக ஜெபிப்போம். நமது குழந்தைகளையும் ஆவியானவரின் ஞானத்தால் நிரப்ப வேண்டுவோம்.

"Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people,  that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?" ( 1 Kings 3 : 9 )

Today's verse is King Solomon's request to God. God approved this request; it pleased God that Solomon not asking for long life, riches, or victory over enemy kings, but prayed, “grand me an understanding heart”

Therefore, God said to him, because you made such a request. "Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee." ( 1 Kings 3 : 12 )

Beloved, this request of Solomon pleased God; but, even though God heard it, it was not a prayer for spiritual life. It is a hundred percent global application. So even after God spoke to Solomon twice, he could not live a good spiritual life like David, his father. He acquired more wealth than his father David; but, he failed in his spiritual life and eventually turned away from the Lord.

Many of us today pray like Solomon. We pray that our children may grow in wisdom and knowledge. This may sound like a good prayer, but it is not a spiritual prayer. All the people of the world pray for their children to live with wisdom and knowledge.

What we as professing Christians really need is the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He alone can teach us rightly and guide us. He alone can give us true wisdom. Yes, wisdom is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit who "will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment" (John 16: 8) says the Lord Jesus Christ.

And, "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." ( John 14 : 26 ) He said.

Beloved, we should not pray for wisdom like Solomon; But rather for the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the source of wisdom. When He comes into us we can become wise. The sages of the world could not argue against Stephen that day. We read this in the book of Acts:- “And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake”. ( Acts 6 : 10 )

Beloved, Let us especially pray for the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the source of wisdom. Let us also pray to fill our children with the wisdom of the Spirit.
