 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳  

📖  வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1821                                 

🔆 ஆதவன் 01.02.2026 ஞாயிறு       

"நாங்கள் உங்களுக்குப் பிரசங்கித்த சுவிசேஷத்தையல்லாமல், நாங்களாவது, வானத்திலிருந்து வருகிற ஒரு தூதனாவது, வேறொரு சுவிசேஷத்தை உங்களுக்குப் பிரசங்கித்தால், அவன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவனாயிருக்கக்கடவன்." ( கலாத்தியர் 1: 8)

ஆரம்பகாலத்தில் கலாத்திய திருச்சபையில் ஏற்பட்டக் குழப்பமான போதனைகளைத் தெளிவுபடுத்த விரும்பிய பவுல், தவறான போதகர்கள்மீது கோபத்தில் இன்றைய தியான வார்த்தைகளைச் சாபமாகக் கூறுகின்றார். 

யூதர்கள் மோசே அளித்த பல்வேறு சட்டங்களையும், பல்வேறு சடங்குகளையும் பின்பற்றிவந்தனர். யூதர்களது இந்த முறைமைகளைக் கடைபிடித்தால் மட்டுமே ஒருவருக்கு மீட்பு கிடைக்கும் என அவர்கள் நம்பினர். அப்படியே போதித்துவந்தனர். இத்தகைய போதகர்கள் கலாத்திய திருச்சபை மக்களையும் இந்தத் தவறான போதனையால் குழம்பினர். எனவே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் அத்தகைய தவறான போதனை செய்பவர்களை சபிக்கின்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, அப்படி மனிதர்களை மீட்படையச் செய்ய யூத சட்டங்களும் சடங்குகளுமே போதுமென்றால் கிறிஸ்து மரித்திருக்கவேண்டாமே? அவர் மரித்ததே வீணல்லவா? என்கின்றார் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர். இதனையே, "நான் தேவனுடைய கிருபையை விருதாவாக்குகிறதில்லை; நீதியானது நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தினாலே வருமானால்,   கிறிஸ்து   மரித்தது   வீணாயிருக்குமே."  ( கலாத்தியர் 2: 21) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

ஆம், இன்று யூதர்கள் அல்லாதவர்களும் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் கிருபையினால் மீட்கப்படுகின்றனர்.  இன்று நாமும்  கிறிஸ்தவர்களாக; அவரால் மீட்கப்பட்டவர்களாக  மாறியுள்ளோம். இப்படி நாம் மீட்கப்பட்டதற்கு காரணம் நாம் யூதர்களது சட்டங்களையும் சடங்கு முறைமைகளையும் பின்பற்றியதால் அல்ல. கிறிஸ்துவின் கிருபையினால்தான். 

இன்றும் கிறிஸ்தவத்தில் இதுபோல நடப்பதை நாம் காணலாம். ஒவ்வொருத்  திருச்சபைப் பிரிவுகளுக்கும் தங்களுக்கென்று தனித்தனி சட்டங்களை வகுத்து வைத்துள்ளனர். அவற்றைக்  கடைபிடித்தால்தான் மீட்பு உண்டு என்கின்றனர். இத்தகைய போதனைகள் கிறிஸ்துவின் கிருபையினை அவமாக்குகின்றன. நாம் எந்த சட்டங்கள் மூலமும் இரட்சிக்கப்படுவதில்லை. கிறிஸ்துவே நம்மை இரட்சிப்பவர். நாம் அவரது கிருபையினால் இரட்சிக்கப்படுகின்றோம். "கிருபையினாலே விசுவாசத்தைக் கொண்டு   இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டீர்கள்; இது உங்களால் உண்டானதல்ல, இது தேவனுடைய ஈவு" (எபேசியர் 2:8)

எனவே, இதற்கு மாறான உபதேசத்தை எவர் செய்தாலும் அது கிறிஸ்துவின் சுவிசேஷத்தைப் புரட்டுவதாகும்.  "வேறொரு சுவிசேஷம் இல்லையே; சிலர் உங்களைக் கலகப்படுத்தி, கிறிஸ்துவினுடைய சுவிசேஷத்தைப் புரட்ட மனதாயிருக்கிறார்களேயல்லாமல் வேறல்ல." ( கலாத்தியர் 1: 7) எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, குறிப்பிட்டச்  சட்டங்கள், சடங்குகளைக் கடைப்பித்தால் மட்டுமே நமக்கு இரட்சிப்பு உண்டு என்று கருதி அவைகளைக் கடைப்பிடிப்பதில் முயலாமல், கிறிஸ்துவின் கிருபைக்காகக் காத்திருப்போம். அவரே நமது மீட்பும் இரட்சிப்புமானவர்.

“But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed!” (Galatians 1:8)

Desiring to bring clarity to the confusing teachings that had arisen in the early Galatian church, the Apostle Paul, moved by righteous anger against false teachers, pronounces today’s meditation verse as a solemn curse upon them.

The Jews had long followed the various laws given by Moses and practiced many rituals. They believed—and taught—that salvation could be obtained only by observing these Jewish laws and ceremonial practices. Such teachers caused confusion among the believers in the early Galatian church by spreading this false doctrine. Therefore, the Apostle Paul strongly condemns those who proclaim such misleading teachings.

Yes, beloved, if the Jewish laws and rituals were sufficient to bring salvation to humankind, then there would have been no need for Christ to die at all. Would not His death have been in vain? This is precisely what the Apostle Paul affirms when he says:

“I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.” (Galatians 2:21)

Indeed, today not only Jews but also Gentiles are redeemed by the grace of Jesus Christ. We too have become Christians—people redeemed by Him. Our redemption did not come because we observed Jewish laws or ritual practices, but solely because of the grace of Christ.

Even today, we can observe similar tendencies within Christianity. Various church denominations have formulated their own sets of rules and insist that salvation is possible only by adhering to them. Such teachings belittle and undermine the grace of Christ. We are not saved by any law. Christ alone is our Savior, and we are saved by His grace:

“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.” (Ephesians 2:8)

Therefore, anyone who teaches otherwise is distorting the gospel of Christ. As Scripture declares:

“Which is really not another; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ.” (Galatians 1:7)

Hence, beloved, instead of striving to observe certain laws and rituals under the belief that they alone can grant us salvation, let us wait upon and rely fully on the grace of Christ. He alone is our Redeemer and Savior.
