🍒Meditation verse - 2 தீமோத்தேயு 3: 16, 17 / 2 Timothy 3:16–17

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,529

'ஆதவன்' 💚ஏப்ரல் 14, 2025. 💚திங்கள்கிழமை 

"வேதவாக்கியங்களெல்லாம் தேவ ஆவியினால் அருளப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன; தேவனுடைய மனுஷன் தேறினவனாகவும், எந்த நற்கிரியையுஞ்செய்யத் தகுதியுள்ளவனாகவும் இருக்கும்படியாக, அவைகள் உபதேசத்துக்கும், கடிந்துகொள்ளுதலுக்கும், சீர்திருத்தலுக்கும், நீதியைப் படிப்பிக்குதலுக்கும் பிரயோஜனமுள்ளவைகளாக இருக்கின்றன." (2 தீமோத்தேயு 3: 16, 17)

தேவன் தன்னுடைய பரிசுத்த ஆவியினால் பரிசுத்த மனிதர்கள் மூலம் மக்களுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்திய வார்த்தைகளே தேவ வசனங்கள். அவைகளை ஏன் தேவன் இப்படி மனிதர்களுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தினார் என்பதையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

வேதாகம வசனங்களை ஆசீர்வாதத்துக்காகக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டவை என்றே இன்று பல ஊழியர்களும் விசுவாசிகளும் எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். எனவே அவர்கள் வேதாகமத்திலுள்ள ஆசீர்வாத வாக்குறுதிகளை பொறுக்கியெடுத்து அவற்றையே கிளிப்பிள்ளைபோலச்  சொல்லிச்சொல்லி ஜெபிக்கின்றனர். ஐயோ, இவர்கள் பரிதாபத்துக்குரியவர்கள்!

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் மூலம் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் நமக்கு ஒரு தெளிவைக் கொடுக்கின்றார். அதாவது, தேவன் மனிதர்களுக்கு ஏன் தனது வார்த்தைகளைக் கொடுத்தாரென்றால், மனிதர்கள் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள்  தேறினவர்களாகவும், நற்செயல்கள் செய்யத் தகுதியுள்ளவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டும் என்பதற்காகவும் கொடுத்தார். அந்த வசனங்கள்  உபதேசத்துக்கும், கடிந்துகொள்ளுதலுக்கும், சீர்திருத்தலுக்கும், நீதியைப் படிப்பிக்குதலுக்கும் உபயோகமுள்ளவைகளாக இருக்கின்றன. 

தேவனுக்குமுன் நாம் தேறினவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டும்; நன்மைசெய்தவராக சுற்றித்திரிந்த கிறிஸ்துவைப்போல நாமும் நற்செயல்கள் செய்யத் தகுதியுள்ளவர்களாக மாறவேண்டும். இப்படி நாம் வாழ்வதற்கு  வேத வசனங்கள் நமக்குப் போதிக்கின்றன, நாம் தவறும்போது கண்டித்துத் திருத்துகின்றன, தேவ நீதியுள்ள  மனிதர்களாக நாம் வாழ அவை நமக்கு வழிகாட்டி உதவுகின்றன.  அன்பானவர்களே, இந்தச் சத்தியம் புரிந்து வேதாகமத்தை நாம் வாசிப்போமென்றால் வேதாகமத்தில் ஆசீர்வாத வாக்குறுதிகளை மட்டும் பொறுக்கிக்கொண்டு இருக்கமாட்டோம். 

மட்டுமல்ல, கிறிஸ்துவிடம் நமக்கு மெய்யான அன்பு ஏற்படவேண்டுமானால் அவரது வார்த்தைகளை அவர் எந்த நோக்கத்துக்காகத் தந்தாரோ அந்த நோக்கத்தை நாம் முதலில் அறியவேண்டும். வெளிநாட்டில் வசிக்கும் ஒரு தகப்பனின் குரலைக்கேட்க அவரது குழந்தைகள் எத்தகைய ஆர்வத்துடன் அலைபேசி ஒலித்ததும் ஓடிச்சென்று எடுத்துப் பேசுகின்றனரோ அதுபோன்ற ஆர்வத்துடன் வேதாகமத்தை நாம் வாசிக்கவேண்டும். அப்போது அவர் குரலை நாம் கேட்கமுடியும். 

ஒரு ஊழியர் ஒருமுறை பிரசங்கிதத்தைக் கேட்டேன். அவர் கூறினார், "ஒரு நாற்பதாம்பக்க நோட்டுப்புத்தகத்தை எடுத்து அதில் வேதத்திலுள்ள தேவ வாக்குத்தத்தங்களை எழுதி வைத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள். தினமும் அவற்றின்மேல் கைகளைவைத்து அவற்றை வாசித்து வாசித்து ஜெபியுங்கள்" என்றார். எத்தகைய சாத்தானின் வஞ்சகபோதனை பாருங்கள். அதாவது, அவரது போதனையின்படி, நாம் வேதாகமத்தை வாசிக்கவோ, தேவ குரலைக் கேட்கவோ வேண்டாம். ஆசீர்வாத வாக்குத்தத்தங்களை எழுதிவைத்து தினமும் வாசித்தால் போதும். சாதாரணமாக பார்க்கும்போது அவர் நல்ல காரியத்தைத்தானே சொல்கிறார் என்று தோன்றும். ஆனால் அது தேவ நோக்கமுமல்ல, தேவ வழியுமல்ல. 

இத்தகைய போதகர்களைக்குறித்து அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு பின்வருமாறு கூறுகின்றார்:- "...உங்களுக்குள்ளும் கள்ளப்போதகர்கள் இருப்பார்கள்; அவர்கள் கேட்டுக்கேதுவான வேதப்புரட்டுகளைத் தந்திரமாய் நுழையப்பண்ணி, தங்களைக் கிரயத்துக்குக் கொண்ட ஆண்டவரை மறுதலித்து, தங்களுக்குத் தீவிரமான அழிவை வருவித்துக்கொள்ளுவார்கள்." (2 பேதுரு 2: 1) எனவே இவர்கள் கூறும் வழிகளைப் பின்பற்றாமலிருப்போமாக.

அன்பானவர்களே, தேவ ஆவியினால் அருளப்பட்டிருக்கும் தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைகளை நாம் தேவ அன்புடனும் கவனமுடனும் வாசிக்கவேண்டும். அவையே  நம்மைத் தேறின மனிதர்களாக மாற்றும்;  நாம் தேவனைக்கேற்ற நற்செயல்களைச் செய்யத் தகுதியுள்ளவர்களாக நம்மை மாற்றும். இப்படி தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து நாம் வாழும்போது மட்டுமே தேவன் நம்மை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார்.

Scripture Meditation – No: 1,529

AATHAVAN – April 14, 2025 (Monday)

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." — 2 Timothy 3:16–17 (KJV)

The Word of God was revealed to mankind through holy men inspired by the Holy Spirit. Today’s meditation verse explains why God chose to reveal His Word to people.

Nowadays, many believers and ministers assume that Scripture exists solely for blessings. As a result, they extract only the blessing-related promises from the Bible and keep repeating them like parroted phrases during prayer. Alas! These people are to be pitied.

Through today’s meditation verse, the Apostle Paul gives us clarity: God gave His Word so that people might become perfect in Christ and be equipped to do good works. The Scriptures are profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness.

We must become perfected before God, and just as Jesus went about doing good, we too should be qualified to do good works. The Scriptures teach us how to live this way; they rebuke and correct us when we go astray, and they guide us to live righteously before God.

Dearly beloved, if we read the Bible understanding this truth, we will not merely pluck out promises of blessing and live shallow spiritual lives.

Furthermore, if we desire genuine love for Christ, we must first understand the purpose for which He gave His Word. Just as children who eagerly run to answer the phone when they hear their father’s voice who live abroad, we should read the Bible with such eagerness—to hear the voice of our Heavenly Father.

I once heard a preacher say in a sermon: “Take a forty-page notebook and write down all the promises of God from the Bible. Place your hands on them every day and keep reading and praying over them.”

What a cunning deception of Satan this is! According to this teaching, we don’t need to read the Bible or hear God's voice. Merely reading the list of promises daily is deemed sufficient. It might appear to be a good practice, but in reality, it is neither God’s purpose nor His way. Regarding such teachers, the Apostle Peter warns:

"...there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction." — 2 Peter 2:1 (KJV) Let us not follow such deceptive paths.

Dear friends, the Word of God, which was inspired by the Holy Spirit, must be read with divine love and attentiveness. Only then can it transform us into perfected people and make us capable of doing good works pleasing to God.

Only when we live in obedience to God's Word will He bless us.

🍒Meditation verse - எரேமியா 13: 23 / Jeremiah 13:23

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,528

'ஆதவன்' 💚ஏப்ரல் 13, 2025. 💚ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை 

"எத்தியோப்பியன் தன் தோலையும் சிவிங்கி தன் புள்ளிகளையும் மாற்றக்கூடுமோ? கூடுமானால், தீமைசெய்யப்பழகின நீங்களும் நன்மைசெய்யக்கூடும்." ( எரேமியா 13: 23)

மனிதன் இயல்பிலேயே துர்க்குணம் உள்ளவனாகவே இருக்கின்றான். "இதோ, நான் துர்க்குணத்தில் உருவானேன்; என் தாய் என்னைப் பாவத்தில் கர்ப்பந்தரித்தாள்." ( சங்கீதம் 51: 5) என்று வேத வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. இப்படி இருப்பதால் மனிதனால் நேர்மையாக வாழ முடிவதில்லை. இதனை அறிந்ததால் தேவன் கூறுகின்றார்:- "மனுஷனுடைய இருதயத்தின் நினைவுகள் அவன்  சிறுவயதுதொடங்கி பொல்லாததாயிருக்கிறது" (ஆதியாகமம் 8:21) என்று. 

ஒரு வயது குழந்தைகள் இரண்டை சேர்ந்து விளையாடவிட்டு ஒரேயொரு பொம்மையை அவர்களிடம் கொடுத்துப்பாருங்கள். அவை ஒன்றுக்கொன்று விட்டுக்கொடுக்காமல் சண்டைபண்ணுவதுபோல போராடும். ஒரு குழந்தை பொம்மையைக் கைப்பற்றிவிட்டால் மற்றகுழந்தை அதனைப் பொறுக்கமுடியாமல் அழுது  கூப்பாடுபோடும். ஆம், போட்டி, பொறாமை போன்ற குணங்கள் இயல்பிலேயே அவற்றுக்குள் இருப்பதை நாம் கண்டுகொள்ளலாம். இந்த குணம் வளர வளர மனிதனுக்குள் அதிகரிக்கின்றது. 

இதனையே தேவன் "எத்தியோப்பியன் தன் தோலையும் சிவிங்கி தன் புள்ளிகளையும் மாற்றக்கூடுமோ? கூடுமானால், தீமைசெய்யப்பழகின நீங்களும் நன்மைசெய்யக்கூடும்." என்று எரேமியா மூலம் கூறுகின்றார். எப்படி ஒரு எத்தியோப்பிய நீக்ரோ தனது தோலின் நிறத்தையும் சிவிங்கி தனது உடலிலுள்ள புள்ளிகளையும் மாற்றமுடியாதோ அதுபோல மனிதன் தனது  சுய முயற்சியால் இந்தத்  துர்க்குணத்தை மாற்றமுடியாது என்கின்றார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். 

நாம் மனதளவில் நன்மைசெய்து நல்லவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டுமென்று எண்ணினாலும் நமக்குள்ளிருக்கும் பாவ குணம் நம்மை நன்மைசெய்ய விடுவதில்லை. இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "அதெப்படியெனில், என்னிடத்தில், அதாவது, என் மாம்சத்தில், நன்மை வாசமாயிருக்கிறதில்லையென்று நான் அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்; நன்மை செய்யவேண்டுமென்கிற விருப்பம் என்னிடத்திலிருக்கிறது நன்மை செய்வதோ என்னிடத்திலில்லை. ஆதலால் நான் விரும்புகிற நன்மையைச் செய்யாமல், விரும்பாத தீமையையே செய்கிறேன்." ( ரோமர் 7: 18, 19) என்கின்றார். 

ஆனால், தேவனது கரம் நம்மில் செயல்பட அனுமதிப்போமானால் நம்மால் இதனை மாற்றமுடியும். ஆம், கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவை நமது வாழ்வில் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வோமானால் அவரது வல்லமையால் நமது துர்குணத்தை மாற்றிட முடியும் என்கிறார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. "நானே திராட்சைச்செடி, நீங்கள் கொடிகள். ஒருவன் என்னிலும் நான் அவனிலும் நிலைத்திருந்தால், அவன் மிகுந்த கனிகளைக் கொடுப்பான்; என்னையல்லாமல் உங்களால்   ஒன்றும்    செய்யக்  கூடாது." (யோவான் 15:5) என்று அவர் கூறவில்லையா? திராட்சைச் செடியோடு இணைந்திருக்கும் கொடிகள் கணிதருவதுபோல அவரோடு நாம் இணைந்திருந்தோமானால் நம்மால் துர்க்குணத்தை மாற்றி கனிதரமுடியும். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே எத்தியோப்பியனும் சிவிங்கியும் தங்கள் தோலை மாற்றிடமுடியாது. ஆனால் அவைகளைப் படைத்த தேவனால் அது கூடாததல்ல. அவர் நினைத்தால் அதுவும் முடியும்.  அதாவது, தேவ கிருபை இருந்தால் அது முடியும். அதுபோலவே,  தீமைசெய்யப்பழகின மனிதர்களையும் நன்மை செய்பவர்களாக அவரால் மாற்ற முடியும். நாம் கிறிஸ்துவின் ஆவியின் பிரமானத்துக்குள் வரும்போது பாவம் அதன் விளைவான ஆத்தும மரணம் இவைகளிலிருந்து விடுதலையாக முடியும்.  "கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவினாலே ஜீவனுடைய ஆவியின் பிரமாணம் என்னைப் பாவம் மரணம் என்பவைகளின் பிரமாணத்தினின்று விடுதலையாக்கிற்றே." ( ரோமர் 8: 2)

எனவே கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு நம்மை முற்றிலும் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து வாழ்வோம். அப்போது நமது எத்தியோப்பிய தோலையும் சிவிங்கியின் புள்ளியையும் தேவன் மாற்றி அதிசயம் செய்வார்.

AATHAVAN 💚 April 13, 2025 💚 Sunday

“Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.” (Jeremiah 13:23, KJV)

By nature, man is inherently sinful. As the Scripture says, “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” (Psalm 51:5, KJV)

Because of this sinful nature, it is impossible for man to live righteously on his own. God, knowing this, declared: “The imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth.” (Genesis 8:21, KJV)

Let two one-year-old children play together and then offer them a single toy. You will see them fighting over it, refusing to share. If one gets the toy, the other cries uncontrollably. From such a young age, we can observe qualities like selfishness and envy. As a person grows, these traits only become more deeply ingrained.

God illustrates this truth through the words of the prophet Jeremiah: “Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.” (Jeremiah 13:23, KJV)

Just as the Ethiopian cannot change the colour of his skin and the leopard cannot change its spots, so too, man cannot rid himself of his sinful nature through his own effort. This is the declaration of the Lord God.

Even though we may desire in our minds to do good and live uprightly, the sinful nature within us does not allow us to do so. The apostle Paul expresses this struggle:

“For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.” (Romans 7:18-19, KJV)

However, if we allow the hand of God to work within us, this sinful nature can be transformed. When we receive the Lord Jesus into our lives, His power can change our nature. Jesus said:

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” (John 15:5, KJV)

Just as branches that remain connected to the vine bear fruit, we too, by remaining in Christ, can overcome our sinful nature and bear the fruit of righteousness.

Yes, beloved, the Ethiopian and the leopard cannot change their skin or spots. But the Creator who made them can do so if He wills. With God’s grace, it is not impossible. In the same way, even those accustomed to doing evil can be transformed by Him into doers of good.

When we come under the law of the Spirit of Christ, we are delivered from the law of sin and death: “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” (Romans 8:2, KJV)

Therefore, let us surrender ourselves completely to Christ. Then, the Lord will perform a miracle by changing our Ethiopian skin and leopard’s spots.

🍒Meditation verse - லுூக்கா 10: 41 - 42 / Luke 10:41–42

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,527

'ஆதவன்' 💚ஏப்ரல் 12, 2025. 💚சனிக்கிழமை 

இயேசு அவளுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: "மார்த்தாளே, மார்த்தாளே, நீ அநேக காரியங்களைக்குறித்துக் கவலைப்பட்டுக் கலங்குகிறாய். தேவையானது ஒன்றே, மரியாள் தன்னைவிட்டு எடுபடாத நல்ல பங்கைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டாள்"என்றார். ( லுூக்கா 10: 41, 42)

வேதாகமத்தில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ள மார்த்தாள், மரியாள் எனும் சகோதரிகள் நமக்கு ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வைத்தொடர நல்ல படிப்பினைகளாக இருக்கின்றனர். பொதுவாகத் தங்களைப் பலரும்   கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொண்டாலும் இன்றைய நாட்களில் நாம் மார்த்தாளைப்போன்ற கிறிஸ்தவர்களையே  அதிகம் பார்க்கின்றோம். 

மார்த்தாள் வகைக் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் ஆலயக் காரியங்களுக்காக ஓடிஓடிப்  பல்வேறு காரியங்களைச் செய்கின்றார்கள். ஆலயத் திருவிழா, அசனம்,  பல்வேறு ஆலயப்பணிகளுக்கு நன்கொடை வசூலித்தல் என்று ஆலய வளாகத்தையே சுற்றிச்சுற்றி வருகின்றார்கள். மார்த்தாள் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவுக்காகத்தான் உழைத்தாள். அதுபோல இவர்களும் தங்களைக் கிறிஸ்துவுக்காக உழைப்பதாகவே எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு  நல்ல உணவளிக்கவேண்டும், அவரை நன்கு உபசரித்து வழியனுப்பவேண்டும் என்பதுதான் மார்த்தாளின் எண்ணம். இதுவே உலகமக்கள் விரும்பும் காரியமாகவும் இருக்கின்றது. 

ஆனால் இதற்கு மாறாக மரியாளோ, அமைதியாக இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் பாதத்தருகில் அமர்ந்து அவரது உயிருள்ள வார்த்தைகளைக்  கேட்பதிலேயே ஆர்வமுள்ளவளாக இருந்தாள். அவள் அவரோடுள்ள ஐக்கியத்தையே மேலானதாகக் கருதினாள். ஆனால் மார்த்தாளின் பார்வையில் மரியாள் வேலைசெய்ய மனதில்லாமல் வெட்டியாக இருப்பதாகவே தோன்றியது. எவ்வளவோ வீட்டுவேலைகள் இருக்கும்போது இவள் சும்மா இருக்கிறாளே என்று அவள் எண்ணினாள். எண்ணியது மட்டுமல்ல, இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவிடம் அவளைக்குறித்து குற்றம் சாட்டினாள். 

"ஆண்டவரே, நான் தனியே வேலைசெய்யும்படி என் சகோதரி என்னை விட்டுவந்திருக்கிறதைக்குறித்து உமக்குக் கவலையில்லையா? எனக்கு உதவிசெய்யும்படி அவளுக்குச் சொல்லும் என்றாள்." (லுூக்கா 10: 40) "உமக்குக் கவலையில்லையா?"  என்று கேட்பதன்மூலம் ஒருவிதத்தில் அவள் இயேசுவையும் குற்றப்படுத்துகின்றாள். இதுபோலவே இன்றும் பலர் இருக்கின்றனர். தங்களைப்போல எல்லோரும் ஆலயங்களுக்கென்று ஓடிஓடி உழைக்கவேண்டுமென்று எண்ணுகின்றனர். அப்படி உழைக்காதவர்களை குற்றப்படுத்துகின்றனர்.  

ஆனால் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து மரியாளையே மேன்மையாக எண்ணினார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, ஆலயங்களுக்காக உழைப்பதையல்ல, மாறாக நமது உடலாகிய ஆலயத்தை பரிசுத்தமாக காப்பாற்றவேண்டிய செயல்கள் நாம் செய்வதையே தேவன் விரும்புகின்றார். கிறிஸ்துவின் வார்த்தைகள் நம்முள் இறங்கிச்  செயல்படவில்லையானால் நாம் பாவிகளாகவே இருப்போம். கிறிஸ்து நம்முள் இல்லையானால் நாம் பாவத்தை மேற்கொள்ள முடியாது. 

உலகரீதியான உதாரணமாக ஒரு காரியத்தை நாம் எண்ணிப்பார்ப்போம், நாம் பணியாற்றும் அலுவலகத்தில் ஓடிஓடி உழைத்தாலும் நம்மிடம் உண்மையும் நல்ல ஒழுக்க குணமாகும்  இல்லாதிருக்குமானால் உயரதிகாரிகள் நம்மை விரும்புவார்களா? அங்கு நாம் பணியில்தான்  நிலைக்கமுடியுமா? இப்படியே தேவனும் நம்மிடம் உண்மை, தூய்மை, இவற்றையே மற்ற அனைத்தையும்விட மேலாக எதிர்பார்க்கின்றார். 

அன்பானவர்களே, தேவன் நம்மிடம் எதிர்பார்ப்பது ஒன்றே ஒன்றுதான். அதுதான் அவரைவிட்டுப் பிரியாத உறவு. இதனையே அவர், "தேவையானது ஒன்றே, மரியாள் தன்னைவிட்டு எடுபடாத நல்ல பங்கைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டாள்" என்று கூறுகின்றார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, மரியாளைப்போல கிறிஸ்து எனும் நல்ல பங்கை நாம் தெரிந்துகொள்பவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  அவரோடுள்ள ஐக்கியத்தில் வளரவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

பல்வேறு சரீர முயற்சியால் ஒருவேளை நாம் மக்களிடம் "ஊருக்காக உழைப்பவர்கள்" என்று பெயர்பெறலாம். ஆனால் தேவனது எதிர்பார்ப்பை நாம் நிறைவேற்றாமல் இருந்து அவர் நம்மைக் கைவிட்டால் அதனால் பயன் என்ன? "மனுஷன் உலகம் முழுவதையும் ஆதாயப்படுத்திக்கொண்டாலும், தன் ஜீவனை நஷ்டப்படுத்தினால் அவனுக்கு லாபம் என்ன? மனுஷன் தன் ஜீவனுக்கு ஈடாக என்னத்தைக் கொடுப்பான்?" ( மத்தேயு 16: 26) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கேட்டாரே?

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் மார்த்தாளைப்போல அநேக காரியங்களைக்குறித்து நாமே தீர்மானம் எடுத்துக்  கவலைப்பட்டு ஓடிஓடி உழைப்பதையல்ல மாறாக,  மரியாளைப் போல தேவ வார்த்தைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து தேவ ஐக்கியத்துடன் வாழ்வதையே தேவன் விரும்புகிறார். அதுவே நாம் தெரிந்துகொள்ளவேண்டிய நல்லபங்கு என்கிறார் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. அவர் விரும்பும் நல்ல பங்கைத் தெரிந்துகொள்வோம்; இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் கூறுவதுபோல அதுவே நம்மைவிட்டு எடுபடாததாக இருக்கும்.

Scripture Meditation – No: 1,527

AATHAVAN 💚 April 12, 2025 💚 Saturday

"And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her." – Luke 10:41–42 (KJV)

The sisters mentioned in the Bible, Martha and Mary, offer us valuable lessons for living a spiritually rooted life. Though many people today identify themselves as Christians, we mostly come across Christians who resemble Martha more than Mary.

Martha-type Christians are constantly busy with church activities—organizing festivals, preparing meals, collecting donations for various church needs, and tirelessly running around church premises. Like Martha, they believe they are labouring for Jesus Christ. Martha's concern was to serve Jesus with the best meal and to care for Him properly. This is also what the world typically admires—active, visible service.

In contrast, Mary sat quietly at Jesus’ feet, listening intently to His living words. She valued union with Christ above all else. But to Martha, Mary appeared idle and indifferent to the many pressing household tasks. Not only did Martha think this, but she even complained about it to Jesus.

"Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me." – Luke 10:40 (KJV)

By asking, "Dost thou not care?" Martha was, in a way, accusing even Jesus. Similarly, today many feel everyone must be as busy in church work as they are. Those who don’t are often criticized and misunderstood.

Yet, Jesus Christ acknowledged Mary as the one who made the better choice. Dear beloved, the Lord desires not just our work for the church but rather that we keep our own bodies—our personal temples—holy and pure. If Christ’s words do not take root and work within us, we remain in sin. Without Christ dwelling in us, we cannot overcome sin.

Consider a worldly example: even if someone works tirelessly in an office, if they lack integrity and good conduct, will their superiors truly value them? Can they remain in that position long? In the same way, God looks not at our outward busyness but at our inner truthfulness and holiness.

Beloved, God expects only one thing from us—that we never be separated from Him. This is why He said, "One thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her."

Yes, dearly beloved, like Mary, we must choose the good part—Christ Himself. It is essential that we grow in our union with Him.

We may earn a reputation among people as "those who work tirelessly for the community" through our physical efforts. But if we fail to meet God's expectation and He turns away from us, what is the use? Jesus Christ Himself asked:

"For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" – Matthew 16:26 (KJV)

So dear ones, instead of exhausting ourselves like Martha over many self-decided tasks, God desires that we, like Mary, give ear to His Word and dwell in oneness with Him. This is the good part, the portion Jesus Christ said will never be taken away from us.

🍒Meditation verse - யோவேல் 2: 13 / Joel 2:13

'ஆதவன்' 💚ஏப்ரல் 11, 2025. 💚வெள்ளிக்கிழமை 

"நீங்கள் உங்கள் வஸ்திரங்களையல்ல, உங்கள் இருதயங்களைக்கிழித்து, உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் இடத்தில் திரும்புங்கள்; அவர் இரக்கமும், மன உருக்கமும், நீடிய சாந்தமும், மிகுந்த கிருபையுமுள்ளவர்; அவர் தீங்குக்கு மனஸ்தாபப்படுகிறவருமாயிருக்கிறார்." ( யோவேல் 2: 13) 

பழைய ஏற்பாட்டுக்காலத்தில் பாவம்செய்தவர்கள் மனம்திரும்புதல் வேண்டித்  தங்கள்  உடலில் சாம்பலைப் பூசிக்கொள்வதும் தங்களது ஆடைகளைக் கிழித்துக்கொண்டு சாக்கு உடை அணிந்துகொள்வதும் வழக்கமாக இருந்தது. பலர் உண்மையான உணர்வுடன் இப்படிச் செய்தாலும் மிகப்பலர் இதனை ஒரு சடங்காகவே செய்தனர். மெய்யான மனம்திரும்புதல் இருக்கிறதோ இல்லையோ, தாங்கள் இப்படிச் செய்வதன்மூலம் மற்றவர்கள் தங்களை மேன்மையாகக் கருதவேண்டும் எனும் எண்ணத்துடனும் பலர் இப்படிச் செய்தனர். 

எனவேதான் யோவேல் தீர்க்கத்தரிசி மூலம் தேவன் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தைக் கூறுகின்றார். வெளி அடையாளச் சடங்குகள் மூலமல்ல, மெய்யான இருதய உணர்வோடு பாவத்தை நாம் தேவனிடம் அறிக்கையிட்டு மன்னிப்பை வேண்டவேண்டும் என்கின்றார். இதனையே அவர், "இருதயங்களைக்கிழித்து, உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் இடத்தில் திரும்புங்கள்" என்கின்றார். 

புலம்பல் நூலிலும் இதனையே நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம், "நாம் நம்முடைய வழிகளைச் சோதித்து ஆராய்ந்து, கர்த்தரிடத்தில் திரும்பக்கடவோம். நாம் நம்முடைய கைகளோடுங்கூட நம்முடைய இருதயத்தையும் பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற தேவனிடத்திற்கு ஏறெடுக்கக்கடவோம்." ( புலம்பல் 3: 40, 41) என்று. கைகளை மட்டும் உயர்த்தி ஜெபித்தால் போதாது, மாறாக நமது இருதயமும் தேவனை நோக்கி உயர்த்தப்படவேண்டும். 

தேவன் கிருபையும் இரக்கமும் நிறைந்தவராக இருப்பதால், "அவர் நம்முடைய பாவங்களுக்குத்தக்கதாக நமக்குச் செய்யாமலும், நம்முடைய அக்கிரமங்களுக்குத் தக்கதாக நமக்குச் சரிக்கட்டாமலும் இருக்கிறார்." (சங்கீதம் 103: 10) நமது பாவத்துக்கு அவர் தண்டனையைத் தந்தாலும் தனக்குள் அதுகுறித்து மனம் வருந்துபவராக இருக்கின்றார். இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் நாம் "அவர் தீங்குக்கு மனஸ்தாபப்படுகிறவருமாயிருக்கிறார்." என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, எல்லோரும் ஜெபிக்கிறார்கள் என்று கூட்டத்தோடு கூட்டமாக நாமும் கூப்பாடுபோட்டு ஜெபிப்பதால் பலனில்லை. பாவம் மன்னிக்கப்பட பரிகாரமாக ஒறுத்தல்கள் செய்வதில் பலனில்லை. சகோதர மதத்தவர்கள் குறிப்பிட்ட காலங்களில் ஆறுகளிலும் கடலிலும் மூழ்கியெழுந்து  பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட்டது என எண்ணிக்கொள்வதுபோல நாமும் எண்ணிக்கொண்டு வாழ்வதில் அர்த்தமில்லை. பாவமன்னிப்பு பெறும்போது நமது இருதயம் அதனை உணர்ந்துகொள்ளும். மெய்யான சமாதானம் நம்மை நிரப்பும். கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து அவரது இரத்தத்தால் கழுவப்படும்போது மட்டுமே இந்த மீட்பு அனுபவம் கிடைக்கும்.  

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது தேவன் பாவத்தை வெறுத்தாலும் பாவிகளை நேசிக்கின்றார். நமது அக்கிரமங்களை அவர் எண்ணியிருந்தால் நாம் அவர்முன் நிற்கமுடியாது.  "கர்த்தாவே, நீர் அக்கிரமங்களைக் கவனித்திருப்பீரானால், யார் நிலைநிற்பான், ஆண்டவரே." ( சங்கீதம் 130: 3) அவர் நம்மை நேசிப்பதால் அவரிடம் மெய்யான இருதய உணர்வோடு மன்னிப்பை வேண்டும்போது நமது பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்படுகின்றன. மன்னிக்கப்படுவது மட்டுமல்ல, பாவத்தையே நம்மைவிட்டு அகற்றுவார். "மேற்குக்கும் கிழக்குக்கும் எவ்வளவு தூரமோ, அவ்வளவு தூரமாய் அவர் நம்முடைய பாவங்களை நம்மைவிட்டு விலக்கினார்." ( சங்கீதம் 103: 12) என்று கூறப்பட்டதுபோல, பாவம் நம்மைவிட்டு அகற்றப்படும். 

நமது இருதயங்களைக்கிழித்து, தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடத்தில் திரும்புவோம்.  அவரது பரிசுத்த இரத்தத்தால் கழுவப்பட வேண்டுவோம். அவர் இரக்கமும், மன உருக்கமும், நீடிய சாந்தமும், மிகுந்த கிருபையுமுள்ளவராக இருப்பதால் நம்மைப் புறம்பேத் தள்ளமாட்டார்.

AATHAVAN 💚 April 11, 2025, 💚 Friday

"And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil." (Joel 2:13, KJV)

In Old Testament times, when people sinned and wanted to repent, it was customary for them to put ashes on their bodies, tear their clothes, and wear sackcloth. While some did this with genuine conviction, many followed these rituals merely as a tradition. Whether they had true repentance or not, they performed these acts to appear righteous before others.

That is why God, through the prophet Joel, speaks the verse we meditate on today. He instructs us not to rely on outward rituals but to confess our sins to Him with a sincere heart and seek forgiveness. Hence, the call is to “rend your heart, and not your garments” and return to the Lord your God.

We read a similar thought in the book of Lamentations: "Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord. Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens." (Lamentations 3:40-41, KJV) Lifting up our hands alone in prayer is not enough—we must lift up our hearts toward God as well.

Because our God is full of mercy and compassion, "He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities." (Psalm 103:10, KJV)
Though He punishes sin, He grieves over doing so. As today’s verse says, “He repenteth him of the evil.”

Yes, beloved, it is not enough to join a crowd in loud prayers. Performing rituals or penances cannot earn us forgiveness. Just as some from other faiths believe their sins are washed away by immersing in rivers or seas at certain times, we too can fall into meaningless traditions. But true forgiveness is felt deep within the heart. Genuine peace will fill us when we surrender ourselves to Christ and are washed by His precious blood. Only then can we experience true redemption.

Yes, dearly beloved, although God hates sin, He loves the sinner. If He were to mark our iniquities, we could not stand before Him: "If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?" (Psalm 130:3, KJV) But because He loves us, when we approach Him with a sincere and contrite heart, our sins are forgiven. Not only that—He removes our sins far from us. "As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us." (Psalm 103:12, KJV)

Let us rend our hearts and return to the Lord our God. Let us be cleansed by His holy blood. Because He is full of mercy, compassion, long-suffering, and abundant grace, He will not cast us away.

🍒Meditation verse - 2 பேதுரு 1: 21 / 2 Peter 1:21

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,525

'ஆதவன்' 💚ஏப்ரல் 10, 2025. 💚வியாழக்கிழமை 

"தீர்க்கதரிசனமானது ஒருகாலத்திலும் மனுஷருடைய சித்தத்தினாலே உண்டாகவில்லை; தேவனுடைய பரிசுத்த மனுஷர்கள் பரிசுத்த ஆவியினாலே ஏவப்பட்டுப் பேசினார்கள்." (2 பேதுரு 1: 21)

தீர்க்கத்தரிசனம் சொல்வது என்பது ஆவியின் வாரங்களில் ஒன்று (1 கொரிந்தியர் 12:10)  இந்த வரத்தைத் தேவன் ஏன் கொடுக்கின்றார் என்றால் பாவத்தில் மடிந்துபோகின்ற ஆத்துமாக்களுக்கு பாவ உணர்வைக்கொடுத்து அவர்கள் மனம்திரும்புவதற்கு. மேலும், நாட்டில் ஏற்படப்போகும் பெரிய இடர்களை முன்கூட்டியே மக்களுக்கு உணர்த்தி அவர்களை எச்சரித்துத்  தப்புவிப்பதற்காக.  தாவீதுக்கு நாத்தான் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் கூறியது அவர் தனது பாவத்தை உணர்ந்து மனம்திரும்புவதற்காக. 

ஆதியாகமத்தில் பாரவோன் கண்ட கனவுக்கு பொருளாக யோசேப்பு வரப்போகின்ற பஞ்சகாலத்தைத்  தீர்க்கதரிசனமாக அறிந்துக்  கூறியது தேசத்தை அழிவிலிருந்து மீட்பதற்காக. மட்டுமல்ல, தீர்க்கதரிசனம் கூறிய யோசேப்பின் எதிர்கால உயர்வுக்கும் இது காரணமாக இருந்தது. ஆனால் தேவனால் மேலான நோக்கத்துக்காக வெளிப்படுத்தப்படும் இரகசியங்கள் பிற்காலங்களில் ஊழியர்களது பொருளாசையினை நிறைவேற்றும் கருவியாக மாறிப்போனது. எனவே அவர்கள் பொய்யான தரிசனங்களைக்கூறி மக்களை ஏமாற்றித் தாங்கள் செழிப்பாக வாழ வகைசெய்து கொண்டார்கள். 

இது இப்போது நடக்கும் தவறல்ல,  இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் காலத்துக்கு முன் ஏறக்குறைய 700 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னேயே இது நடந்துள்ளது.  இதனையே எரேமியா மூலம் தேவன், "உங்களுக்குத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லுகிற தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேளாதிருங்கள்; அவர்கள் உங்களை வீண்பெருமை கொள்ளும்படி செய்கிறார்கள்; கர்த்தருடைய வாக்கை அல்ல, தாங்கள் யூகித்த தரிசனத்தைச் சொல்லுகிறார்கள்" என்று கூறுகின்றார். நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும்கூட, "கள்ளத் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளுக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள்; அவர்கள் ஆட்டுத்தோலைப் போர்த்துக்கொண்டு உங்களிடத்தில் வருவார்கள்; உள்ளத்திலோ அவர்கள் பட்சிக்கிற ஓநாய்கள்." ( மத்தேயு 7: 15) என்று எச்சரித்தார்.

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் தேவனோடு நெருங்கிய உறவோடு வாழ்வோமென்றால் தேவன் நமக்கு நம்மைக்குறித்து வெளிப்படுத்தல்களைத் தருவார். அதற்காக நாம் ஊழியக்காரர்களைத் தேடி ஓடவேண்டிய அவசியமில்லை. அவர்கள் பொய்யையே கூறி நம்மை ஏமாற்றுவார்கள். ஊழியனைத்தேடி வரும் எல்லோருக்கும் தேவன் எப்போதும் ஆசீர்வாதத்தையே தீர்க்கதரிசனமாகக் கூறிக்கொண்டிருக்கமாட்டார். பலவேளைகளில் நமது ஆசீர்வாதத்துக்கு நமது பாவமான செயல்களே காரணமாக இருக்கும். உண்மையான தீர்க்கத்தரிசி அதனை உணர்த்தவேண்டும். மாறாக, "உங்களுக்குச் சமாதானம், கர்த்தர் உங்களை ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறார்" என்று கூறிக்கொண்டிருக்கக்கூடாது.  

தங்கள் இருதயத்தின் கடினத்தில் தொடர்ந்து நடக்கும் மக்களுக்கும் கள்ளத் தீர்க்கத்தரிசியானவன், "உங்களுக்குச் சமாதானம் இருக்கும்" என்றுதான் கூறுவான். இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின் அடுத்த வசனமாக நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம்:-   "அவர்கள் என்னை அசட்டைபண்ணுகிறவர்களை நோக்கி: உங்களுக்குச் சமாதானம் இருக்குமென்று கர்த்தர் சொன்னாரென்று சொல்லுகிறதுமல்லாமல்; தங்கள் இருதயத்தின் கடினத்திலே நடக்கிற யாவரையும் நோக்கி: உங்கள்மேல் பொல்லாப்பு வராதென்றும் சொல்லுகிறார்கள்." ( எரேமியா 23: 17) எனவே, உங்களுக்குத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லுகிற தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேளாதிருங்கள் என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். 

ஆனால் இப்போதும் உண்மையான தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் இருக்கின்றார்கள். என்னை ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் ஆரம்பகாலத்தில் வழிநடத்திய பாஸ்டர் ஜான்சன் டேவிட் அவர்கள் இதற்கு ஒரு  உதாரணம். நான் செய்யும் சிறு தவறையும்கூடத் தனது  தீர்க்கத்தரிசன வரத்தால் அறிந்து என்னை எச்சரித்திருக்கின்றார்.  ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இதுபோன்ற கர்த்தருக்கேற்ற தீர்க்கத்தரிசிகள் இப்போதும் உண்டு. இத்தகைய தீர்க்கதரிசிகளைக்குறித்தே அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு, "தீர்க்கதரிசனமானது ஒருகாலத்திலும் மனுஷருடைய சித்தத்தினாலே உண்டாகவில்லை; தேவனுடைய பரிசுத்த மனுஷர்கள் பரிசுத்த ஆவியினாலே ஏவப்பட்டுப் பேசினார்கள்." (2 பேதுரு 1: 21) என்று கூறுகின்றார்.

ஆனால் நாம் குறிகேட்பதுபோல தீர்க்கத்தரிசிகளைச் சாராமல் கர்த்தரையே நம்பி அவரையே சார்ந்து வாழ தேவன் வலியுறுத்துகின்றார். அவருக்கு உண்மையாக நாம் வாழ்வோமானால், அவரே நமக்குத் தேவையான வெளிப்படுத்தல்களைத் தந்து நம்மை வழிநடத்துவார். போலிகள் பல இருப்பதால்  "உங்களுக்குத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லுகிற தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேளாதிருங்கள் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்." தேவ உறவை வளர்த்துக்கொள்வோம். அவரே நம்மை வழிநடத்தட்டும்.

AATHAVAN - April 10, 2025 | Thursday

"For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." — 2 Peter 1:21 (KJV)

Prophecy is one of the gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:10). God grants this gift to bring conviction of sin to souls that are perishing in sin, so that they may repent. Moreover, He uses it to warn people in advance about great disasters that may befall the nation, so they can be alerted and saved.

The prophet Nathan gave a prophetic word to David so that he would realize his sin and repent.

In Genesis, Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dream, revealing the coming years of famine as a prophecy—this was to save the nation from destruction. Furthermore, that same prophetic interpretation led to Joseph's own elevation in the future.

However, over time, the sacred secrets revealed by God for divine purposes began to be misused to fulfil the greedy ambitions of false ministers. These individuals started declaring false prophecies to deceive the people and live in luxury themselves.

This is not a new phenomenon. Even before the time of Jesus Christ—approximately 700 years earlier—this was happening. Through Jeremiah, God declared: "Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord."
— Jeremiah 23:16 (KJV)

Even our Lord Jesus Christ warned: "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." — Matthew 7:15 (KJV)

Yes, beloved, if we live in close fellowship with God, He will reveal things concerning our lives directly to us. There is no need to run after ministers for this. Many of them will only mislead us with falsehoods. God does not always declare blessings as prophecy to everyone who goes seeking a word. Oftentimes, it is our own sinful actions that stand in the way of blessings. A true prophet will reveal that. Instead of continually saying, “Peace be unto you,” and “The Lord will bless you,” they must expose the truth.

False prophets always say "peace" to those who continue in the hardness of their hearts. The very next verse from today’s meditation confirms this: "They say still unto them that despise me, The Lord hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you." — Jeremiah 23:17 (KJV)

Therefore, the Lord Himself says:

“Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you.”

Yet, even today, true prophets of God still exist. One such example is Pastor Johnson David, who guided me in the early stages of my spiritual life. He would know, even the smallest mistakes I made, through the prophetic gift, and warn me accordingly. Yes, dear ones, such godly prophets still exist today.

About such genuine prophets, Apostle Peter declared: "For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."— 2 Peter 1:21 (KJV)

However, rather than depending on prophets for direction, God urges us to trust and rely on Him directly. If we live faithfully before Him, He will give us the necessary revelations and guide us. Because many deceivers exist today, the Lord of Hosts has already said: "Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you."
— Jeremiah 23:16 (KJV)

Let us cultivate a deep relationship with the Lord, and may He Himself guide us.

🍒Meditation verse - நீதிமொழிகள் 3: 5, 6 / Proverbs 3:5-6

'ஆதவன்' 💚ஏப்ரல் 09, 2025. 💚புதன்கிழமை 

"உன் சுயபுத்தியின்மேல் சாயாமல், உன் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் கர்த்தரில் நம்பிக்கையாயிருந்து, உன் வழிகளிலெல்லாம் அவரை நினைத்துக்கொள்; அப்பொழுது அவர் உன் பாதைகளைச் செவ்வைப்படுத்துவார்." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 3: 5, 6)

மனிதர்கள் நமது அறிவு குறைவுள்ளது  (1 கொரிந்தியர் 13: 9). நாம்  தற்போது நமக்கு இருக்கும் சூழ்நிலையில் எதிர்காலத்தை நமது குறைவான அறிவால் கணித்து எந்தக் காரியங்களுக்கும் முடிவெடுக்கின்றோம்.  எனவே இப்படி முடிவெடுப்பது பெரும்பாலும் தவறான முடிவாகவே இருக்க வாய்ப்புள்ளது. இப்படி முடிவெடுப்பதையே சுய புத்தியில் சாய்தல் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. நீ இப்படி சுய புத்தியில் சாயாமல் உன் முழு இருதயத்தோடு கர்த்தரில் நம்பிக்கையாயிரு என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது.  

வாழ்க்கையில் நாம் முக்கியமான முடிவுகள் எடுக்கவேண்டிய காலகட்டங்கள் பல உண்டு. உதாரணமாக, நமது வேலை விஷயங்களில், நமது பிள்ளைகளின் திருமண காரியங்களில், அல்லது புதிதாக ஒரு நிலமோ வீடோ வாங்க முயலும்போது, நாம் சரியான முடிவுகள் எடுக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். நமது சுய தீர்மானங்களோ அல்லது நண்பர்களது அறிவுரையோ எப்போதும் சரியானதாக இருக்காது. இப்படிப்பட்டச் சூழ்நிலையில் நாம் கர்த்தரையே நம்பி இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியமாக இருக்கின்றது. 

எந்த நிலையிலும் நாம் கர்த்தர்மேல் முழு நம்பிக்கையையும் வைத்து வாழ்வோமானால் அவர் நம்மைக் கைவிடாமல் இருப்பார். வழிகளிலெல்லாம் அவரை நினைத்துக்கொள் என்று கூறுவது நாம் நடந்து செல்லும்போது என்ற பொருளிலல்ல, மாறாக நமது வாழ்க்கைப் பாதையில் என்று பொருள். கர்த்தரையே நம்பும் மனிதன் அவரையே வாழ்வில் நினைப்பவனாக இருப்பான். நாம் இப்படி வாழ்வதையே தேவன் விரும்புகின்றார். இதனையே மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்குப் பின்வருமாறு  கூறுகின்றார்:- 

"நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து, அவர் வழிகளிலெல்லாம் நடந்து, அவரிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்து, உன் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உன் முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரைச் சேவித்து, நான் இன்று உனக்குக் கற்பிக்கிற கர்த்தருடைய கற்பனைகளையும் அவருடைய கட்டளைகளையும் உனக்கு நன்மையுண்டாகும்படி கைக்கொள்ளவேண்டும் என்பதையே அல்லாமல், வேறே எதை உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னிடத்தில் கேட்கிறார்". ( உபாகமம் 10: 12, 13)

அதாவது, நமக்கு  நன்மையுண்டாகும்படி கர்த்தருடைய கற்பனைகளையும் அவருடைய கட்டளைகளையும் அன்றாடம்  நாம்  கைக்கொள்ளவேண்டும் என்றே தேவன் எதிர்பார்க்கின்றார்.  அப்படி நாம் வாழும்போது அவர் நமது  பாதைகளைச் செவ்வைப்படுத்துவார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் எந்த நிலையிலும் தேவனைச் சார்ந்தே வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். "கர்த்தரையே தன் நம்பிக்கையாக வைக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்." ( சங்கீதம் 40: 4) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளபடி நாம் பாக்கியவான்களாக வாழ முயற்சியெடுப்போம். 

இப்படி நாம் வாழும்போது நிறைவான கிறிஸ்துவின் ஆவியானவர்  நமக்குள் வந்து நம்மை வழிநடத்துவார். இப்படி, "நிறைவானது வரும்போது குறைவானது ஒழிந்துபோம்."(1 கொரிந்தியர் 13: 10) 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இப்படி ஜெபிப்போம்:- "நிறைவான இயேசுவே என்னில் வாரும், என்னை வழி நடத்தும். எனது வாழ்வை உமக்கே ஒப்படைக்கிறேன். உமது வழிகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு வாழ்வேன் என்று உறுதிகூறுகின்றேன். நான் அறிவில் குறைந்தவன்; ஞானமில்லாதவன். நீர் என்னில் வரும்போது மட்டுமே நான் எனது சுயபுத்தியில் சாராமல் எனது வாழ்வில் சரியான முடிவுகள் எடுக்க முடியும். எனவே உமது ஆவியானவரை அனுப்பும். அவரே என்னில் வந்து என்னை நேரிய பாதையில் வழிநடத்துவாராக.  ஆமென்.

Scripture Meditation - No: 1,524

AATHAVAN - April 09, 2025 – Wednesday

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6, KJV)

Human understanding is limited (1 Corinthians 13:9). With our finite knowledge, we try to predict the future based on our current circumstances and make decisions accordingly. However, such decisions often turn out to be incorrect. Relying on our own wisdom is what the Scripture calls "leaning on our own understanding." Today’s meditation verse instructs us not to do so but instead to trust the Lord wholeheartedly.

There are many crucial moments in life when we must make important decisions—regarding our careers, our children's marriages, or even purchasing land or a home. It is essential that we make the right choices. Our personal judgment or even the advice of friends may not always be reliable. In such situations, we must place our trust in the Lord.

If we live a life of complete trust in God, He will never forsake us. The phrase "In all thy ways acknowledge him" does not merely refer to our physical journey but to our entire life’s path. A person who trusts in the Lord will continually acknowledge Him in all things. This is what God desires from us. Moses emphasized this truth to the Israelites:

"And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?" (Deuteronomy 10:12-13, KJV)

God expects us to keep His commandments and statutes daily for our own good. When we live this way, He will direct our paths. Yes, beloved, we must always live in dependence on God. As the Psalmist declares:

"Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust." (Psalm 40:4, KJV)

Let us strive to live as blessed individuals. When we live this way, the fullness of Christ's Spirit will dwell within us and guide us. As the Scripture says:

"But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away." (1 Corinthians 13:10, KJV)

Yes, beloved, let us pray:

"O Perfect Jesus, come into me and lead me. I surrender my life to You. I commit to following Your ways. I lack knowledge and wisdom, but only when You dwell in me can I refrain from leaning on my own understanding and make the right decisions in life. Therefore, send Your Holy Spirit to guide me on the right path. Amen."
