🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 55 : 1 / Isaiah 55:1

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1585                                          ஆதவன் 10.06.2025 செவ்வாய்  

"தாகமாயிருக்கிறவர்களே, நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் தண்ணீர்களண்டைக்கு வாருங்கள்; பணமில்லாதவர்களே, நீங்கள் வந்து, வாங்கிச் சாப்பிடுங்கள்; நீங்கள் வந்து, பணமுமின்றி விலையுமின்றித் திராட்சரசமும் பாலும் கொள்ளுங்கள்." ( ஏசாயா 55 : 1 )

இன்றைய தியானத்துக்குரிய வசனம் நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து வாக்களித்த இலவசமான தண்ணீரையும் உணவையும்குறித்து ஏசாயா தீர்க்கதரிசனமாகக் கூறும் வார்த்தைகளாகும். 

மனிதர்கள்  ஆத்தும தாகத்தால் உள்ளமும் உடலும் வறண்டவர்களாக உள்ளனர்.  ஆத்துமாவைத் தேற்றும் தண்ணீரையும் உணவையும் தேடிப் பல்வேறு ஆன்மீகத் தலங்களுக்கு அலைந்து திரிகின்றனர்.  அப்படி அலையும் மக்களை "நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் அப்படி வீணாக அலையவேண்டாம்; தண்ணீர்களண்டைக்கு வாருங்கள்; பணமில்லாதவர்களே, நீங்கள் வந்து, வாங்கிச் சாப்பிடுங்கள்" என்று அழைப்பு விடுக்கின்றது இன்றைய தியான வசனம். 

இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "நான் கொடுக்கும் தண்ணீரைக் குடிக்கிறவனுக்கோ ஒருக்காலும் தாகமுண்டாகாது; நான் அவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கும் தண்ணீர் அவனுக்குள்ளே நித்திய ஜீவகாலமாய் ஊறுகிற நீரூற்றாயிருக்கும் என்றார்." ( யோவான் 4 : 14 ) தொடர்ந்து இயேசு கிறிஸ்து ஆத்துமாவை நிறைவடையச்செய்யும் இந்த இலவசத்  தண்ணீரையும் உணவையும் குறித்து பல்வேறு முறைக் கூறுவதை நாம் வேதாகமத்தில் வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

"பண்டிகையின் கடைசிநாளாகிய பிரதான நாளிலே இயேசு நின்று, சத்தமிட்டு: ஒருவன் தாகமாயிருந்தால் என்னிடத்தில் வந்து, பானம்பண்ணக்கடவன். வேதவாக்கியம் சொல்லுகிறபடி என்னிடத்தில் விசுவாசமாயிருக்கிறவன் எவனோ, அவன் உள்ளத்திலிருந்து ஜீவத்தண்ணீருள்ள நதிகள் ஓடும் என்றார்." ( யோவான் 7 : 37, 38 ) இலவசமான தண்ணீரை நாம் பெறுவது மட்டுமல்ல, அவரை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போது நம்மிடமிருந்தே நதிகள் புறப்படும் என்கின்றார். 

மேலும், "என் மாம்சத்தைப் புசித்து, என் இரத்தத்தைப் பானம்பண்ணுகிறவனுக்கு நித்தியஜீவன் உண்டு; நான் அவனைக் கடைசிநாளில் எழுப்புவேன்." ( யோவான் 6 : 54 )

"என் மாம்சம் மெய்யான போஜனமாயிருக்கிறது, என் இரத்தம் மெய்யான பானமாயிருக்கிறது." ( யோவான் 6 : 55 )

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இந்த உலகினில் பொதுவாக இலவசமாய்க்  கிடைக்கும் பொருட்களைத்தேடி மக்கள் ஓடுவது இயல்பு. ஆனால் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து வாக்களித்த இலவச தண்ணீரையும் உணவையும் தேடி வருபவர்கள் மிகக்குறைவு. ஆனால் அப்படி அதனைத் தேடுவோமானால் நாம் மீட்படைவோம். "இலவசமாய் அவருடைய கிருபையினாலே கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவிலுள்ள மீட்பைக்கொண்டு நீதிமான்களாக்கப்படுகிறார்கள்" ( ரோமர் 3 : 24 ) என்கின்றார் அப்போஸ்த்தலரான பவுல். 

பணமுமில்லாமல் எந்தவித விலையுமில்லாமல் மீட்பு நமக்கு அருளப்படுகின்றது. காரணம் அதற்கான விலைக் கிரயத்தை ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துச் சிலுவையில் கொடுத்துத் தீர்த்துவிட்டார். எனவே, நமது ஆத்தும மீட்புக்கான ஜீவத்தண்ணீரையும் ஜீவ அப்பத்தையும் நாம் இலவசமாகவே பெறுகின்றோம். "நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் தண்ணீர்களண்டைக்கு வாருங்கள்; பணமில்லாதவர்களே, நீங்கள் வந்து, வாங்கிச் சாப்பிடுங்கள்; நீங்கள் வந்து, பணமுமின்றி விலையுமின்றித் திராட்சரசமும் பாலும் கொள்ளுங்கள்" என்று அழைப்பு விடும் தேவ வார்த்தைகளைப் புறக்கணிக்கவேண்டாம். 

மட்டுமல்ல, ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறியதுபோல நாமே இலவச தண்ணீரைக் கொடுக்கின்ற ஜீவ நதியாக மாறுவோம். 

"உங்கள் செவியைச் சாய்த்து, என்னிடத்தில் வாருங்கள்: கேளுங்கள், அப்பொழுது உங்கள் ஆத்துமா பிழைக்கும்." ( ஏசாயா 55 : 3 ) என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

“Inside the Seeds” 🌳

Scripture Meditation No. 1585
AATHAVAN – Tuesday, 10 June 2025

"Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price." (Isaiah 55:1)

Today’s meditation verse contains the prophetic invitation of the Lord Jesus Christ as foretold by Isaiah – a call to freely receive water and food that truly satisfies.

Human beings, inwardly and outwardly, suffer dryness due to spiritual thirst. Many wander from one spiritual place to another, searching for water and food that will nourish the soul. To such restless wanderers comes today’s divine invitation: “Come ye to the waters... come, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.”

Jesus Christ said, "But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." (John 4:14, KJV)

Throughout the Scriptures, we see Jesus repeatedly offering this free, soul-satisfying water and spiritual nourishment.

"In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." (John 7:37–38, KJV)

Not only are we to receive this living water, but by accepting Him, we ourselves become fountains from which these rivers of life will flow.

He further said: "Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day." (John 6:54, KJV)

"For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed."(John 6:55, KJV)

Yes, beloved, it is common for people in this world to run after anything that is free. But very few seek after the free water and food offered by the Lord Jesus Christ. Yet, those who earnestly seek shall find salvation. As the apostle Paul writes, "Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus." (Romans 3:24, KJV)

Salvation is granted freely, without money or price, because the price was fully paid by the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. Hence, the living water and bread of life for the redemption of our souls are given to us at no cost.

Let us not ignore the divine invitation: “Come ye to the waters… come, buy, and eat… without money and without price.”

Furthermore, as Jesus said, let us also become rivers of living water, offering freely to others the life that flows from Christ.

"Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live." (Isaiah 55:3, KJV)

🦋 Meditation verse - மத்தேயு 6 : 34 / Matthew 6:34

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1584                                          ஆதவன் 09.06.2025 திங்கள்  

"ஆகையால், நாளைக்காகக் கவலைப்படாதிருங்கள்; நாளையத்தினம் தன்னுடையவைகளுக்காகக் கவலைப்படும்; அந்தந்த நாளுக்கு அதனதன் பாடுபோதும்." ( மத்தேயு 6 : 34 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் பலருக்கும் குழப்பம் ஏற்படுத்தலாம். அது எப்படி நாளைக்காக நாம் கவலைப்படாமல் இருக்க  முடியும்? நமது குழந்தைகளின் படிப்புச் செலவுகள், திருமணம், எதிர்பாராச் செலவினங்கள்,   நமக்கு வயதாகும்போது நமக்குப்  பாதுகாப்பு இவைகளையெல்லாம் பற்றி நாம் முன்னரேத்  தீர்மானித்து இந்தச் செலவுகளுக்காக ஆயத்தமாய் இருக்கவேண்டாமா? என்றெல்லாம் நாம் எண்ணலாம். 

ஆனால் இந்த வசனம் மூலம் இயேசு வலியுறுத்த விரும்புவது தேவன்மேல் நாம் உறுதியான விசுவாசம் கொள்ளவேண்டும் என்பதைத்தான். இந்த உலகத்தில் தேவனது கிருபை இல்லாமல் நாம் எதனையும் சாதிக்கமுடியாது. எவ்வளவுதான் சொத்து சுகங்களை நாம் சேர்த்தாலும் அவை அனைத்தையும் ஒரே நொடியில் இழந்துவிடக்கூடிய நிலையும் நமக்கு ஏற்படலாம். யோபுவின் வாழ்க்கையினை நினைத்துப்பாருங்கள். எனவே தேவனது கிருபையினைச் சார்ந்து நாம் வாழவேண்டும் என்று இயேசு வலியுறுத்துகின்றார். 

இதனை நாம் பாலைவனத்தில் தேவன் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கு மன்னா அளித்ததைக் கொண்டு சிறு விளக்கம் பெறலாம். இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கு மன்னாவை தேவன் பொழிந்தபோது அதில் எதனையும் மறுநாள்வரை வைக்கவேண்டாம் என்று கட்டளையிட்டார். அதாவது அன்றன்றுள்ள அளவுக்கு மன்னாவைச் சேகரித்தால் போதும் என்று கூறியிருந்தார். ஆனால் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் மன்னாவைக் கண்டபோது தேவனது கட்டளையைமீறி அதனை அதிகமாகச் சேர்க்க முயன்றார்கள். 

தேவன் அன்றன்று அவர்களுக்குத் தேவையான  மன்னாவைத் தவறாமல் அளித்தபோதும் அவர்கள் மறுநாளைக்கு என்று சேர்க்கக் காரணம் அவர்களது விசுவாசக் குறைவு. ஒருவேளை நாளைக்கு மன்னா பொழியப்படாவிட்டால் என்னசெய்வது என்று அவர்கள் எண்ணினார்கள். எனவே கட்டளையைமீறி மறுநாளுக்காகச் சேர்த்து வைத்தார்கள். ஆனால் அதனை அவர்களால் மறுநாளில் பயன்படுத்தமுடியாத நிலைதான் ஏற்பட்டது. 

"மோசே அவர்களை நோக்கி: ஒருவனும் விடியற்காலம்மட்டும் அதில் ஒன்றும் வைக்கக்கூடாது என்று அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லியும்; மோசேயின் சொல் கேளாமல், சிலர் அதில் விடியற்காலம்மட்டும் கொஞ்சம் மீதியாய் வைத்தார்கள்; அது பூச்சி பிடித்து நாற்றமெடுத்தது. அவர்கள்மேல் மோசே கோபங்கொண்டான்." (யாத்திராகமம் 16 : 19, 20) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம்.                                         

இத்தகைய  விசுவாசக் குறைவு நமக்கு இருக்கக் கூடாது என்பதையே இயேசு, "நாளைக்காகக் கவலைப்படாதிருங்கள்; நாளையத்தினம் தன்னுடையவைகளுக்காகக் கவலைப்படும்; அந்தந்த நாளுக்கு அதனதன் பாடுபோதும்." என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் நாளைக்காக சேர்த்து வைப்பது பாவமல்ல, ஆனால் நமது அனைத்து நம்பிக்கையையும்  நாம் சேர்த்துவைத்த பொருள் செல்வங்களின்மேல் வைக்காமல் தேவன்மேல் வைக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். ஏனெனில், தேவனது கிருபையே நாம் சேர்த்த செல்வத்தை அனுபவிக்க உதவிடும். இதனையே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து உவமையாகக் ஒரு செல்வந்தனின் வாழ்க்கைக்குறித்துக் கூறும்போது:- 

"பின்பு: ஆத்துமாவே, உனக்காக அநேக வருஷங்களுக்கு அநேகம் பொருள்கள் சேர்த்து வைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது; நீ இளைப்பாறி, புசித்துக் குடித்து, பூரிப்பாயிரு என்று என் ஆத்துமாவோடே சொல்லுவேன் என்று தனக்குள்ளே சிந்தித்துச் சொல்லிக்கொண்டான். தேவனோ அவனை நோக்கி: மதிகேடனே, உன் ஆத்துமா உன்னிடத்திலிருந்து இந்த இராத்திரியிலே எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படும், அப்பொழுது நீ சேகரித்தவைகள் யாருடையதாகும் என்றார்." ( லுூக்கா 12 : 19, 20 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

தேவன்மேல் பூரண விசுவாசம் கொள்ளும்போது நமது நாளைய தேவையை அவர் பார்த்துக்கொள்வார். "முதலாவது தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தையும் அவருடைய நீதியையும் தேடுங்கள், அப்பொழுது இவைகளெல்லாம் உங்களுக்குக்கூடக் கொடுக்கப்படும்." ( மத்தேயு 6 : 33 ) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறவில்லையா? நாளைக்காக கவலைப்படுவதைவிட முதலில் தேவனது ராஜ்யத்தைக்குறித்து கவலைகொண்டு அதனைத் தேடுவோம். நமது மற்ற தேவைகளை தேவனே பார்த்துக்கொள்வார்.

Bible Meditation No. 1584

AATHAVAN – Monday, 09.06.2025

"Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." — Matthew 6:34 (KJV)

Today’s meditation verse might seem confusing to many. How can we not worry about tomorrow? What about our children’s education expenses, weddings, unforeseen emergencies, and our own security in old age? Shouldn’t we plan ahead and prepare for such things?

However, what Jesus emphasizes in this verse is that we must have steadfast faith in God. Without God's grace, we can accomplish nothing in this world. No matter how much wealth and comfort we may accumulate, we could lose it all in a single moment. Just consider the life of Job.

Therefore, Jesus urges us to live in dependence on God’s grace. This truth is illustrated in how God provided manna to the Israelites in the wilderness. When He rained manna from heaven, He commanded them not to save any of it for the next day, but to collect only what was needed for each day.

Still, when the Israelites saw the manna, they disobeyed God's command and tried to gather extra for the following day.

Though God faithfully provided the exact portion of manna needed for each day, their lack of faith led them to think, “What if manna doesn’t come tomorrow?” As a result, they tried to store it for the next day—but that manna became unusable.

"And Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the morning. Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with them." — Exodus 16:19–20 (KJV)

Jesus highlights this very lesson when He says: "Take therefore no thought for the morrow... Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."

Dearly beloved, saving for the future is not a sin, but it is essential that we place our trust not in the possessions or wealth we store up—but in God. Because it is only by God’s grace that we are able to enjoy what we have saved.

Jesus illustrates this same truth through the parable of the rich man:

"And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?" — Luke 12:19–20 (KJV)

When we place complete trust in God, He will take care of our needs for tomorrow.

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." — Matthew 6:33 (KJV)

Instead of worrying about tomorrow, let us be concerned with seeking God’s kingdom first. He will take care of all our other needs.

🦋 Meditation verse - எரேமியா 29 : 13 / Jeremiah 29:13

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳

  வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1583                                          ஆதவன்,  08.06.2025 ஞாயிறு 

"உங்கள் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் என்னைத் தேடினீர்களானால், என்னைத் தேடுகையில் கண்டுபிடிப்பீர்கள்." ( எரேமியா 29 : 13 )

தேவனைத் தேடுவதற்கும் அவரை ஆராதிப்பதற்கும் வித்தியாசம் உண்டு. அவரை அறியாமலேயே ஆராதிக்கமுடியும். ஆனால் அதனால் என்ன பயன்? இன்று கடவுளை ஆராதிக்கும் அனைவரும் அவரை வாழ்வில் அறிந்தவர்களல்ல. இதனையே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து சமாரிய பெண்ணிடம்கூறினார், "நீங்கள் அறியாததைத் தொழுது கொள்ளுகிறீர்கள்; நாங்கள் அறிந்திருக்கிறதைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகிறோம்" (யோவான் 4:22) என்று. 

தேவனை அறியவேண்டுமானால் முதலில் நாம் அவரை உண்மையான மனதுடன் தேடுபவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். "ஏனென்றால், கேட்கிறவன் எவனும் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறான்; தேடுகிறவன் கண்டடைகிறான்; தட்டுகிறவனுக்குத் திறக்கப்படும்." ( மத்தேயு 7 : 8 )என்று இயேசு கூறவில்லையா? இன்று தேவனைத் தேடுபவர்களைவிட தேவனிடமிருந்து ஏதாவது நன்மையைப் பெறவேண்டுமெனும் ஆர்வத்தில் அவரை வழிபடுபவர்களே அதிகம்பேர். இத்தகைய மனிதர்கள் தேவனை வாழ்வில் ஒருபோதும் அறியமுடியாது. 

இன்று நூற்றுக்குத்  தொண்ணூறு சதவிகித ஊழியர்களும் தங்களைத் தேடிவரும் மக்களுக்கு உலகத் தேவையை அடைந்திட ஜெபிக்கவே கற்றுக்கொடுக்கின்றனர். பல்வேறு தியானக் கூட்டங்கள் ஆங்காங்கே நடைபெற்றபோதும் தேவனை அறிய அவை மெய்யான வழியைக் காட்டுவதில்லை. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இதனையே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து உவமையாகக் கூறினார்,  "குருடனுக்குக்   குருடன்  வழிகாட்டக்கூடுமோ? இருவரும் பள்ளத்தில் விழுவார்கள் அல்லவா?" (லூக்கா 6:39) ஊழியம் செய்கிறேன் என்று கூறிக்கொள்ளும் பலரும் குருடர்களாக இருப்பதால் மக்களைப் பள்ளத்தில் தள்ளுகின்றனர். 

தேவனை அறியவேண்டுமென்றால் முதலில் அவரை வாழ்வில் அறியவேண்டும் எனும் ஆர்வம் வேண்டும். பல்வேறு தெய்வங்களை உலக மக்கள் வழிபடுகின்றனரே, இவற்றில் எது உண்மையான தேவனாக இருக்கமுடியும்? என்றாவது எண்ணிப்பார்க்கவேண்டும். ஆனால் இப்படி எண்ணிப்பார்க்கும் மனநிலையில் மக்கள் இல்லை. எந்த தெய்வத்திடம் வேண்டினால் நமது தேவைகள் சந்திக்கப்படும் என்றே பெரும்பாலான மக்கள் எண்ணுகின்றனர். எனவேதான்  பலரும் தேவனை வாழ்வில் அறியமுடியாமல் இருக்கின்றனர். 

தேவனை நாம் அறிய முடியாமல் தடையாக இருப்பது நமது பாவங்களே என்று வேதம் நமக்குக் கூறுகின்றது. "உங்கள் அக்கிரமங்களே உங்களுக்கும் உங்கள் தேவனுக்கும் நடுவாகப் பிரிவினை உண்டாக்குகிறது; உங்கள் பாவங்களே அவர் உங்களுக்குச் செவிகொடாதபடிக்கு அவருடைய முகத்தை உங்களுக்கு மறைக்கிறது." (ஏசாயா 59:2)

எனவே, நாம் தேவனை அறியவேண்டுமானால் நமது பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்படவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது. எல்லா மதங்களும் பாவங்களைப்பற்றியும் பாவ மன்னிப்பைப்பற்றியும் கூறினாலும் அவை கூறும் வழிமுறைகள்  வெவ்வேறு. குறிப்பிட்ட நாளில் குறிப்பிட்ட நதியில் மூழ்கி எழுந்தால் பாவங்கள்  போகும் என்று சிலர் எண்ணிக்கொண்டு அவ்வாறு நதிநீரில் குளித்து எழுகின்றனர். ஆனால் அவ்வாறு செய்யும் அவர்கள் பாவ மன்னிப்பின் நிச்சயத்தையும் சந்தோஷத்தையும் வாழ்க்கை மாற்றத்தையும் காண்பதில்லை. 

ஆனால் வேதம் கூறுகின்றது, "இரத்தம் சிந்துதல் இல்லாமல் பாவ மன்னிப்பில்லை." (எபிரெயர் 9:22) என்று. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமக்காக தனது சுய இரத்தத்தால் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இரட்சிப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளார். அதனை விசுவாசித்து ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு அவரிடம் நமது பாவங்களை அறிக்கையிட்டு மன்னிப்பை வேண்டும்போது நாம் தேவனை அறியமுடியும்; அவரது பிள்ளைகளாக மாறி அவரது மகத்துவத்தை வாழ்வில் உணரமுடியும். காரணம், "குமாரனாகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தம் சகல பாவங்களையும் நீக்கி, நம்மைச் சுத்திகரிக்கும்". ( 1 யோவான்  1 : 7 )

மேலும், "இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினுடைய சரீரம் ஒரேதரம் பலியிடப்பட்டதினாலே, அந்தச் சித்தத்தின்படி நாம் பரிசுத்தமாக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம்." ( எபிரெயர் 10 : 10 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. முழு இருதயத்தோடு தேவனை அறியும் ஆர்வத்துடன் நாம் நமது பாவங்களை அறிக்கையிட்டு வேண்டும்போது அவரைக் கண்டுகொள்ளலாம். அவரிடமிருந்து எதனையாவது பெறவேண்டுமென்று அவரைத் தேடாமல் அவரே நமக்கு வேண்டுமென்று நாடுவோம்.  ஆம், "உங்கள் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் என்னைத் தேடினீர்களானால், என்னைத் தேடுகையில் கண்டுபிடிப்பீர்கள்" என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1583

Aathavan – Sunday, 08.06.2025 

"And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13)

There is a difference between seeking God and worshipping Him. One can worship without truly knowing Him — but what profit is there in that? Today, not everyone who worships God truly knows Him in their life. Jesus Christ Himself told the Samaritan woman: "Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship." (John 4:22)

If we truly want to know God, it is essential that we seek Him with a sincere heart. Did not Jesus say, "For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened" (Matthew 7:8)? Today, more people are interested in worshipping God with the desire to receive some benefit from Him, rather than truly seeking Him. Such individuals will never be able to truly know God in their lives.

Even among ministers of God, ninety out of a hundred are merely teaching people to pray for worldly needs. Though many devotional meetings are conducted here and there, they do not lead people on the true path to knowing God. Dear beloved, this is what Jesus likened when He said: "Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?" (Luke 6:39) Many who claim to be in ministry are spiritually blind and are leading others into spiritual ruin.

If we truly desire to know God, it begins with a deep longing to know Him personally in our lives. The people of the world worship many gods — but have they ever truly pondered which of these is the living and true God? Unfortunately, most people are not even in a mental state to think that way. They simply go after whichever deity they believe can fulfil their needs. That is why they fail to truly know the one true God.

The Bible clearly says that it is our sins that hinder us from knowing God:

"But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear." (Isaiah 59:2)

Therefore, for us to know God, our sins must first be forgiven. While all religions speak about sin and forgiveness, each provides a different method. Some believe that immersing in a river on a specific day will wash away their sins. But even after doing so, they do not experience the assurance, joy, or transformation that comes from true forgiveness.

However, the Bible declares: "Without shedding of blood is no remission." (Hebrews 9:22) Yes, beloved, Jesus Christ the Lord has obtained salvation for us through His own blood. When we believe this, confess our sins to Him, and seek His forgiveness, we can truly come to know God. We are then transformed into His children and experience His glory in our lives.

For, "The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1:7) And, "By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." (Hebrews 10:10)

When we confess our sins with a sincere heart and seek Him with a longing to know Him — not to gain something from Him, but to have Him alone — we will surely find Him. Yes, the Lord God says: "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13)

🦋 Meditation verse - பிரசங்கி 8 : 12 / Ecclesiastes 8:12

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳

  வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1582                                          ஆதவன் 07.06.2025 சனி   

"பாவி நூறுதரம் பொல்லாப்பைச் செய்து நீடித்து வாழ்ந்தாலும் என்ன? தேவனுக்கு அஞ்சி, அவருக்கு முன்பாகப் பயந்திருப்பவர்களே நன்றாயிருப்பார்கள் என்று அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்." ( பிரசங்கி 8 : 12 )

இன்று சமூக வலைத்தளங்களை நாம் பார்ப்போமானால் அதிகமான பதிவுகள் உடல்நலம் குறித்தும் அதனை எப்படி மேம்படுத்தலாம், என்னென்ன உணவுகள் உடலுக்கு ஏற்றவை, எவைகளைத் தவிர்க்கவேண்டும் என்றும் அறிவுறுத்துவனவாக உள்ளன. இவைகளைப் பதிவிடுபவர்கள் இவைகளைக் கடைபிடிக்கின்றார்களா என்பது கேள்விக்குறிதான். ஆனால் எல்லோருக்கும் உடல்நலத்துடன் நீண்டநாள் வாழவேண்டுமெனும் ஆர்வம் இருக்கின்றது என்பது மட்டும் புலனாகின்றது. எனவே, எல்லோரும் மருத்துவர் ஆகிவிட்டனர்.

மக்கள் இந்த உலகத்தில் நீண்ட நாட்கள் உயிர்வாழ்பவர்களை பொதுவாக  ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் என்று எண்ணுவதுண்டு. ஆனால் மனிதர்கள் நீண்டநாள் உயிர்வாழ்வதால் அவர்கள் நல்லவர்கள் என்று பொருளல்ல. அனைத்து பாவச் செயல்களையும் செய்யும்  ஒருவர்  நூறாண்டுவரை வாழலாம், அதுபோல எந்த கெட்டப்பழக்கமும் இல்லாத ஒருவர் அற்ப வயதில் இறந்துபோகலாம். மனிதர்களது வாழ்நாளுக்கும் அவர்களது செயல்பாடுகளுக்கும் சம்பந்தமில்லை.

உடல்நலம் குறித்து வெளியாகும் பதிவுகளை எல்லோரும் ஆர்வத்துடன் படிக்கின்றனர். ஆனால், உடல்நலத்தைவிட மேலான ஆத்தும காரியங்களைக்குறித்த காரியங்களுக்குப் பலரும் முன்னுரிமை கொடுப்பதில்லை. இந்த உலகத்தில் பொல்லாப்பான காரியங்களில் ஈடுபட்டு ஒருவர் நூறு வயதுவரை வாழ்ந்தாலும் அவரைவிட தேவனுக்கு அஞ்சி வாழும் மக்கள் நன்றாக இருப்பார்கள் என்று இன்றைய தியானம் நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது. 

தேவனுக்கு அஞ்சி வாழ்வது என்பது பயந்து பயந்து வாழ்வதல்ல, மாறாக தீமையான காரியங்களில் ஈடுபடாமல் அவற்றுக்கு விலகி நீதியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வது.   "தீமையை வெறுப்பதே கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படும் பயம்; பெருமையையும், அகந்தையையும், தீய வழியையும், புரட்டுவாயையும் நான் வெறுக்கிறேன். (நீதிமொழிகள் 8:13) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

இப்படி கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படும் பயத்தோடு வாழ்வது குறித்து மேலும் நாம் வேதத்தில்,  "கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல் ஜீவனுக்கேதுவானது; அதை அடைந்தவன் திருப்தியடைந்து நிலைத்திருப்பான்; தீமை அவனை அணுகாது." (நீதிமொழிகள் 9:23) என்றும்  "கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல் ஜீவஊற்று; அதினால் மரணக்கண்ணிகளுக்குத் தப்பலாம்". (நீதிமொழிகள் 14:27) என்றும் வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, உடல்நலத்துக்கு ஒரு சில உணவுகளைத் தவிர்த்து ஒருசில உணவுகளைச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்வதுபோல ஆத்தும நலத்துக்கு ஒரு சில காரியங்களைத் தவிர்த்து ஒருசில காரியங்களை வாழ்வில் கடைபிடிக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  ஆனால் பெரும்பாலான மக்கள் உடல்நலம் குறித்தச் செய்திகளைக் கேட்டுக் கடைபிடிப்பதுபோல ஆவிக்குரிய செய்திகளைக்  கேட்பதிலும் வாசிப்பதிலும் காட்டும் ஆர்வத்தை அவற்றைக் கடைப்பிடிப்பதில் காண்பிப்பதில்லை. 

நீண்டநாள் வாழ்வதல்ல முக்கியம், மாறாக தேவனுக்கு அஞ்சி, அவருக்கு முன்பாகப் பயந்திருப்பவர்களே நன்றாயிருப்பார்கள் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது கவனிக்கத்தக்கது.  

"ஜீவனை விரும்பி, நல்ல நாட்களைக் காணவேண்டுமென்றிருக்கிறவன் பொல்லாப்புக்குத் தன் நாவையும், கபடத்துக்குத் தன் உதடுகளையும் விலக்கிக்காத்து, பொல்லாப்பைவிட்டு நீங்கி, நன்மை செய்து, சமாதானத்தைத் தேடி, அதைப்பின்தொடரக்கடவன்." ( 1 பேதுரு 3 : 10, 11 )

AATHAVAN | Saturday, 07.06.2025

“Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him:” (Ecclesiastes 8:12)

When we browse social media today, we often see countless posts about physical health—how to improve it, what foods are beneficial for the body, and which ones to avoid. However, whether the ones posting such advice follow them personally is questionable. One thing is clear: everyone desires to live a long and healthy life. It seems as if everyone has become a doctor!

People generally consider those who live long lives in this world to be "blessed." But just because someone lives long does not mean they are righteous. A person may live for a hundred years while practicing all kinds of evil, and someone with no bad habits may die young. A person’s lifespan is not necessarily connected to the nature of their actions.

Everyone eagerly reads health-related content. But few prioritize the matters of the soul over physical health. Even if someone does evil and lives a hundred years, today’s meditation reminds us that it shall be well only with those who fear God and walk before Him.

To fear God is not to live in constant dread, but to live a righteous life, turning away from evil. As it is written:

“The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.” (Proverbs 8:13 – KJV)

We also read in Scripture about the blessings of fearing God:

“The fear of the Lord tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.” (Proverbs 19:23 – KJV)

“The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.” (Proverbs 14:27 – KJV)

Yes, beloved ones, just as we maintain physical health by avoiding certain foods and including others, it is essential for our spiritual well-being to avoid certain things and practice others in our lives. However, unlike the eagerness shown by most people in listening to and following advice related to physical health, the same level of interest is not shown in following the spiritual truths they hear or read.

What matters is not a long life, but a life lived in the fear of God. Today’s meditation verse clearly points this out: “It shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him.”

As the Scripture says:

“For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.” (1 Peter 3:10–11 – KJV)

🦋 சங்கீதம் 40 : 1 / Psalm 40:1

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳

  வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1581                                         ஆதவன் 06.06.2025 வெள்ளி  

"கர்த்தருக்காகப் பொறுமையுடன் காத்திருந்தேன்; அவர் என்னிடமாய்ச் சாய்ந்து, என் கூப்பிடுதலைக் கேட்டார்." ( சங்கீதம் 40 : 1 )

மனிதர்கள் நாம் நாமது மனதின் விருப்பங்கள் உடனடியாக நிறைவேறிட வேண்டுமென்று ஆசைப்படுகின்றோம். நமது ஜெபங்களுக்கு தேவன் உடனடியாகப் பதில்தந்து நம்மை மகிழ்ச்சிப்படுத்த வேண்டுமென்று எதிர்பார்க்கின்றோம். ஆனால் எல்லா நேரங்களிலும் மனிதர்கள் நமது எண்ணப்படி தேவன் உடனடியாகப் பதில் தருவதில்லை. அவர் பலவேளைகளில் நம்மிடம் நிதானத்தை எதிர்பார்க்கின்றார். காரணம், இந்த நிதானம் நமது விசுவாசத்தை வளரச்செய்யும். 

ஆபிரகாமுக்குத்   தேவன் அளித்த வாக்குறுதியை அவர்  பெற்று மகிழ்ந்திட  ஏறக்குறைய இருபத்தைந்து ஆண்டுகள் காத்திருக்கவேண்டியிருந்தது. யோசேப்பு பல்வேறு துன்பங்களை அனுபவித்து ஏறக்குறைய  13 ஆண்டுகள் காத்திருப்புக்குப்பின்னரே தேவன் அவனுக்குத் தரிசனத்தில் காட்டிய ராஜமேன்மையை அடைந்தார். ஆம், 17 வயதில் சகோதரர்களோடு ஆடுகள் மேய்த்துக்கொண்டிருந்த அவர் (ஆதியாகமம் 37:2) பாரவோன்முன் நிற்கும்போது 30 வயது என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. (ஆதியாகமம் 41: 46)

தாவீது பல்வேறு போராட்டங்களுக்குப் பின்னரே இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாக உயர்த்தப்பட்டார். இந்த அனுபவங்களையெல்லாம் பெற்றிருந்ததால்  அவர் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில், "கர்த்தருக்காகப் பொறுமையுடன் காத்திருந்தேன்; அவர் என்னிடமாய்ச் சாய்ந்து, என் கூப்பிடுதலைக் கேட்டார்." என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

எதிலும் உடனடி உயர்வு வேண்டுமென்கின்ற ஆசை இருப்பதால் சிலர் பல்வேறு குறுக்கு வழிகளைக் கையாண்டு உயர்வினை அடைந்திட முயல்கின்றனர். வேலையில் பதவி உயர்வுக்காக சிலர் கையூட்டுக்கொடுத்து அதனை அடைகின்றனர். இதுபோல அரசு விருதுகள், பரிசுகள் பெறுவதற்கும் குறுக்குவழியே பலருக்கு ஏற்றதாகத் தெரிகின்றது. ஆனால் இப்படி முயலும் பலர் தங்கள் விரும்பிய உயர்வை அடைந்தாலும் வாழ்க்கையில் மகிழ்ச்சியற்றவர்களாகவே இருக்கின்றனர். 

தேவனுக்கேற்ற காலம் ஒன்று உண்டு. எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு, "ஆகையால், ஏற்றகாலத்திலே தேவன் உங்களை உயர்த்தும்படிக்கு, அவருடைய பலத்த கைக்குள் அடங்கியிருங்கள்." ( 1 பேதுரு 5 : 6 ) என்று நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றார்.  ஆம் அன்பானபவர்களே, நமக்கு நியமித்திருக்கின்ற உயர்வு நிச்சயமாக தேவனால் நமக்குக் கிடைக்கும். குறுக்குவழிகள் தற்காலிக மகிழ்ச்சியை மட்டுமே நமக்குத் தரும். 

தங்கள் பிள்ளைகளின் திருமண வாழ்வு தாமதித்துக்கொண்டே இருப்பதால் பல பெற்றோர் கவலைப்பட்டுக் கலங்குகின்றனர். அன்பானவர்களே, பிள்ளைகளை தேவ சமூகத்தில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து ஜெபிப்போம். நிச்சயமாக தேவன் நமது காத்திருத்தலை மகிழ்ச்சியாக்குவார்.  கர்த்தருக்காகக்  காத்திருப்பவர்களை அவர் கைவிடமாட்டார். நிச்சயமாக நாம் எதிர்பார்த்ததற்கும் மேலான வாழ்க்கையினை நமது பிள்ளைகளுக்கு அமைத்துத் தருவார்.    

சிலவேளைகளில் இப்படிக் காத்திருப்பது நமக்குத் துயரம் தருவதாகவே இருக்கும். ஆனால் வேதம் கூறுகின்றது, "நெடுங்காலமாய்க் காத்திருக்குதல் இருதயத்தை இளைக்கப்பண்ணும்; விரும்பினது வரும்போதோ ஜீவவிருட்சம்போல் இருக்கும்." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 13 : 12 )

கர்த்தருக்குப் பொறுமையோடு காத்திருப்போம். "கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்களோ புதுப்பெலன் அடைந்து, கழுகுகளைப்போலச் செட்டைகளை அடித்து எழும்புவார்கள்; அவர்கள் ஓடினாலும் இளைப்படையார்கள், நடந்தாலும் சோர்ந்துபோகார்கள்." ( ஏசாயா 40 : 31 )

Scripture Meditation No. 1581

AATHAVAN - Friday, 06.06.2025

“I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.” (Psalm 40:1, KJV)

As human beings, we often desire that our heartfelt wishes be fulfilled immediately. We expect God to respond to our prayers right away and make us joyful. But not always does God answer us according to our timeline. Many times, He expects patience from us — because this waiting strengthens our faith.

God gave Abraham a promise, but he had to wait nearly twenty-five years to see it fulfilled and rejoice. Joseph endured many hardships and waited about 13 years before the royal honour God had shown him in a dream came true. Yes, when he was 17 years old, he was tending the flock with his brothers (Genesis 37:2), and by the time he stood before Pharaoh, he was 30 years old (Genesis 41:46).

David too was elevated to be the king of Israel only after enduring many struggles. Because of these personal experiences, he could declare in today’s meditation verse,

“I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.” (Psalm 40:1, KJV)

Because of the urge for instant promotion, some resort to shortcuts. For example, a few seek job promotions through bribery. Likewise, shortcuts seem attractive to many in the pursuit of government awards and prizes. But even though they may achieve their desired status, they often end up being joyless in life.

There is a God-appointed time for everything. That’s why the Apostle Peter exhorts us:

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.” (1 Peter 5:6, KJV)

Yes, beloved, the promotion appointed for us will surely come — and only from God. Shortcuts provide only temporary happiness.

Many parents become troubled and distressed when their children's marriages are delayed. Dear ones, let us surrender our children to God in prayer. Surely, He will turn our waiting into joy. The Lord will not forsake those who wait for Him. Indeed, He will bless our children with a life far better than what we ever imagined.

Sometimes, waiting may bring sorrow. But the Bible says:

“Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.” (Proverbs 13:12, KJV)

Let us wait patiently for the Lord.

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31, KJV)

🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 26 : 13 / Isaiah 26:13

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳

  வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1580                                          ஆதவன்,  05.06.2025 - வியாழன் 

"எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, உம்மையல்லாமல் வேறே ஆண்டவன்மார் எங்களை ஆண்டார்கள்; இனி உம்மை மாத்திரம் சார்ந்து உம்முடைய நாமத்தைப் பிரஸ்தாபப்படுத்துவோம்." ( ஏசாயா 26 : 13 )

இந்த உலகத்தில் மனிதர்களைப்  பல்வேறு காரியங்கள் அடிமைப்படுத்துவனவாக உள்ளன. முக்கியமாக, பல்வேறு பாவங்கள், பொருளாசை, புகழாசை, பதவியாசை மற்றும் பல்வேறு உலக ஆசைகள் மனிதர்களை அடிமைப்படுத்தியுள்ளன. எவையெல்லாம் இப்படி நம்மை அடிமைப்படுத்தியுள்ளனவோ, அவையெல்லாம் நம்மை ஆளுகின்றன என்று பொருள். 

நாம்  தேவனை மறந்து அவரைத் தேடாமல் வாழும்போது நம்மில் இவையே ஆட்சிசெய்கின்றன. இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் ஏசாயா கூறுகின்றார்,  "தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, உம்மையல்லாமல் வேறே ஆண்டவன்மார் எங்களை ஆண்டார்கள்" என்று. அதாவது, இதுவரை உமக்கு விருப்பமில்லாத காரியங்களே எங்களை ஆட்சிபுரிந்து அடிமைப்படுத்தி வந்தன. இப்படி நாங்கள் அடிமைப்பட்டிருந்த காரியங்களுக்கு இனி அடிமைப்படமாட்டோம். காரணம் நாங்கள் இனி உம்மை மட்டுமே எங்களை ஆட்சிபுரிய அனுமதிப்போம்; உம்மை மாத்திரம் சார்ந்து உம்முடைய நாமத்தைப் பிரஸ்தாபப்படுத்துவோம் என்கின்றார்.

பெரும்பாலும் நாமெல்லோரும் பல்வேறு பாவங்களுக்கு அடிமைப்பட்டவர்களாக இருக்கின்றோம்.  ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறினார், "பாவஞ்செய்கிறவன் எவனும் பாவத்துக்கு அடிமையாயிருக்கிறான் என்று மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்." ( யோவான் 8 : 34 ) என்று. அப்படி நாம் பாவம் செய்துகொண்டிருப்போமானால் பாவம் நம்மை ஆளுகின்றது என்று பொருள். பாவம் ஆளும் இடத்தில் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து ஆட்சிபுரிய நாம் இடம்தரவேண்டும். அப்படியானால் மட்டுமே நாம் இந்த அடிமைத்தனத்திலிருந்து விடுதலையடைய முடியும். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் மேலே பார்த்த காரியங்களான பொருளாசை, புகழாசை, பதவியாசை மற்றும் பல்வேறு உலக ஆசைகள் எல்லாமே பாவம்தான். தேவனை முன்னிலைப்படுத்தாமல் வேறு காரியங்களுக்கு முன்னிலை கொடுக்கும்போது அவை நம்மை ஆளுகின்றன என்று பொருள். 

அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் மனிதர்களை ஆளும்  பல்வேறு பாவங்களைப் பட்டியலிட்டுப் பின்வருமாறு கூறுகின்றார். "அநியாயக்காரர் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தைச் சுதந்தரிப்பதில்லையென்று அறியீர்களா? வஞ்சிக்கப்படாதிருங்கள்; வேசிமார்க்கத்தாரும், விக்கிரகாராதனைக்காரரும், விபசாரக்காரரும், சுயபுணர்ச்சிக்காரரும், ஆண்புணர்ச்சிக்காரரும், திருடனும், பொருளாசைக்காரரும், வெறியரும், உதாசினரும், கொள்ளைக்காரரும் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தைச் சுதந்தரிப்பதில்லை." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 6 : 9, 10 )

எனவே,  இத்தகைய பாவங்கள் நம்மை ஆளாமல் இவற்றிலிருந்து விடுதலையாகி தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தைச் சுதந்தரிக்க வேண்டுமானால் நாம் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து மட்டுமே நம்மை ஆளும்படி அவருக்கே  நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது.  இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறினார், "ஆகையால் குமாரன் உங்களை விடுதலையாக்கினால் மெய்யாகவே விடுதலையாவீர்கள்." ( யோவான் 8 : 36 ) என்று.

எனவே, ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து நம்மை ஆளும்படி அவருக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம். "எங்கள் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசுவே, இதுவரை உம்மையல்லாமல் வேறே ஆண்டவன்மார் எங்களை ஆண்டார்கள்; இனி நீர் மட்டுமே எங்களை ஆளவேண்டும்; இனி உம்மை மாத்திரம் சார்ந்து உம்முடைய நாமத்தை மட்டுமே  பிரஸ்தாபப்படுத்துவோம்" என்று அவருக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து ஜெபிப்போம். நமது பாவங்களை அவரிடம் அறிக்கையிடுவோம். குமாரன் நம்மை  விடுதலையாக்கினால் மெய்யாகவே விடுதலையாவோம்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1580

AATHAVAN – Thursday, 05.06.2025

“O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.” — Isaiah 26:13

In this world, many things enslave humanity. Chief among them are various sins, greed, desire for fame, thirst for position, and many worldly lusts. All these dominate our lives when we allow them to. Anything that enslaves us in this manner ultimately rules over us.

When we forget God and live without seeking Him, these things take control and rule our lives. In today’s meditation verse, Isaiah says,

“O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us...”

That means, until now, things that were not pleasing to God ruled over us and enslaved us. But from this point forward, Isaiah affirms, we will no longer be enslaved by such things. Instead, we choose to submit only to God, cling to Him alone, and proclaim only His name.

Most of us are indeed slaves to various sins. The Lord Jesus Christ said, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.” — John 8:34 (KJV)

If we continue in sin, then sin is what rules over us. Where sin reigns, there we must give place for the Lord Jesus Christ to rule instead. Only then can we be delivered from this bondage.

Dearly beloved, all the things we listed earlier—greed, fame-seeking, ambition, and worldly desires—are, in essence, sins. When we place them above God, they become our masters. When we do not prioritize God, we end up being ruled by something else.

The Apostle Paul lists many sins that dominate people’s lives and warns accordingly:

“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” — 1 Corinthians 6:9–10 (KJV)

Therefore, if we desire to be free from such sins and inherit the kingdom of God, it is absolutely essential that we surrender ourselves entirely to the Lord Jesus Christ and let Him alone reign over us. Jesus said, “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” — John 8:36 (KJV)

Let us then submit ourselves to the Lord Jesus Christ and let Him rule over us. Let us pray, saying: “Our Lord Jesus, until now, other lords besides You have ruled over us. From now on, may You alone reign over us. We will cling only to You and proclaim only Your name.”

Let us confess our sins before Him. If the Son sets us free, we shall be truly free.

🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 26 : 3 / Isaiah 26:3

"விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1579                                         ஆதவன் 04.06.2025 புதன்   

"உம்மை உறுதியாய்ப் பற்றிக்கொண்ட மனதையுடையவன் உம்மையே நம்பியிருக்கிறபடியால், நீர் அவனைப் பூரண சமாதானத்துடன் காத்துக்கொள்வீர்." ( ஏசாயா 26 : 3 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் தேவனை நோக்கிய ஒரு விண்ணப்பமாகவும், சமாதானத்துக்கான ஜெபமாகவும் உள்ளது. எவரும் உதவிடமுடியாத இக்கட்டான சூழ்நினையில் தேவனைத்தவிர வேறு யாரையும் நாம் உதவிக்கு அழைக்க முடியாது. ஆனால் அப்படி நாம் அவரை அழைப்பதிலும் உண்மையுள்ளவர்களாக  இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

சிலர் தங்களை ஆவிக்குரிய கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொண்டாலும்  இக்கட்டான வேளைகளில் தங்கள் விசுவாசத்தில் தளர்ச்சியடைவதுண்டு. பிறர் தாங்கள் சென்றுவந்த கோவில்களைக்குறித்தும் அதனால் தங்கள் பெற்றுக்கொண்ட நன்மைகளைக் குறித்தும் கூறும்போது விசுவாசத்தில் தளர்ச்சியடைகின்றனர். நாமும் ஒருமுறை அவர்கள் கூறும் இடத்திற்குச் சென்று வழிபட்டுவந்தால் என்ன என்று மனதினில் எண்ணுகின்றனர். அதாவது இவர்கள் உறுதியற்ற மனமும் விசுவாசமும் கொண்டவர்கள். 

தொடர்ந்த துன்பங்களே வாழ்வில் நீடித்தபோதும் பக்தனான யோபு திடமான விசுவாசத்துடன் கூறுகின்றார், "அவர் என்னைக் கொன்றுபோட்டாலும், அவர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிருப்பேன்; ஆனாலும் என் வழிகளை அவருக்கு முன்பாக ரூபகாரம்பண்ணுவேன்." ( யோபு 13 : 15 ) என்று. 

சாத்ராக், மேஷாக், ஆபேத்நெகோ எனும் இளைஞர்கள் தங்களை அக்கினிச் சூழையில் போட்டாலும் நாங்கள் வேறு தேவனை வழிபடுவதில்லை என்று உறுதியாகக் கூறினர்.  "நாங்கள் ஆராதிக்கிற எங்கள் தேவன் எங்களைத் தப்புவிக்க வல்லவராயிருக்கிறார்; அவர் எரிகிற அக்கினிச்சூளைக்கும், ராஜாவாகிய உம்முடைய கைக்கும் நீங்கலாக்கி விடுவிப்பார். விடுவிக்காமற்போனாலும், நாங்கள் உம்முடைய தேவர்களுக்கு ஆராதனை செய்வதுமில்லை, நீர் நிறுத்தின பொற்சிலையைப் பணிந்துகொள்வதுமில்லை என்கிறது ராஜாவாகிய உமக்குத் தெரிந்திருக்கக்கடவது என்றார்கள்." ( தானியேல் 3 : 17, 18 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதன்படி அவரை உறுதியாய்ப் பற்றிக்கொண்ட மனதையுடைய இவர்கள் அவரையே  நம்பியிருந்தபடியால் அவர் அவர்களைப் பூரண சமாதானத்துடன் காத்துக்கொண்டதைப் பார்க்கின்றோம். 

இது என்றோ நடந்த அதிசய சம்பவங்களல்ல, இன்றும் நாம் விசுவாசத்தில் உறுதியோடு இருப்போமானால் நமக்கும் வாழ்வில்  இவை சம்பவிக்கும். எனவேதான் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின் அடுத்த வசனமாக ஏசாயா கூறுகின்றார், "கர்த்தரை என்றென்றைக்கும் நம்புங்கள்; கர்த்தராகிய யேகோவா நித்திய கன்மலையாயிருக்கிறார்." ( ஏசாயா 26 : 4 ) ஆம், நமது தேவன் நித்யமானவர். இன்றும் அவர் நமது விசுவாசத்தைக் கனம்பண்ணுகின்றவராக இருக்கின்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் எந்த எதிர்மறையான வாழ்க்கைச் சூழலிலும் அவரை உறுதியாகப் பற்றிக்கொள்வோமானால் அவர் நம்மை மெய்யான சமாதானத்தினால் பூரணமாய் நிரப்புவார். மட்டுமல்ல நாம் சூழ்நிலைகளை ஜெயிப்பவர்களாகவும் மாறுவோம். எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "கிறிஸ்துவின் அன்பைவிட்டு நம்மைப் பிரிப்பவன் யார்? உபத்திரவமோ, வியாகுலமோ, துன்பமோ, பசியோ, நிர்வாணமோ. நாசமோசமோ, பட்டயமோ? இவையெல்லாவற்றிலேயும் நாம் நம்மில் அன்புகூருகிறவராலே முற்றும் ஜெயங்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களாய் இருக்கிறோமே." ( ரோமர் 8 : 36, 37 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

சூழ்நிலைகளை மறந்து தேவனையே உறுதியாய் அன்புடன் பற்றிக்கொள்வோம். அப்போது நம்மை அவர் பூரண சமாதானத்துடன் காத்துக்கொள்வார்.

🌳 Inside the Seeds

Scripture Meditation No. 1579                                 Aathavan – Wednesday, 04.06.2025

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." — Isaiah 26:3

Today's meditation verse is both a prayer directed toward God and a supplication for peace. In desperate situations where no one else can help, we can call upon no other except God. However, it is essential that even as we call upon Him, we do so with sincerity and faithfulness.

There are some who claim to be spiritual Christians, yet in moments of crisis, their faith falters. When others speak about the temples they have visited and the benefits they received, such Christians begin to waver. They start to wonder, "What if we also visited that place and worshipped there once?" This reveals a lack of steadfastness in their heart and in their faith.

Even when suffering prolonged trials in life, the devout Job declared with unshakable faith: "Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him." — Job 13:15 (KJV)

Likewise, the young men Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego boldly said that even if they were thrown into the burning fiery furnace, they would not worship another god: "If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up." — Daniel 3:17–18 (KJV)

As today's meditation verse tells us, these men had minds that were steadfastly stayed on God and they trusted in Him completely. Because of that, the Lord preserved them with perfect peace.

These are not just miraculous stories of the past—they are possible in our own lives even today, if only we remain steadfast in faith. That’s why the very next verse in Isaiah declares: "Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:" — Isaiah 26:4 (KJV)

Yes, our God is eternal, and He continues even now to honour our faith.

Beloved, no matter how negative or challenging our life situations may be, if we cling firmly to Him in love and faith, He will fill us with true, perfect peace. Not only that, He will cause us to become victorious over our circumstances. That’s why Apostle Paul confidently says:

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?... Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us."— Romans 8:35, 37 (KJV)

Let us fix our hearts and love steadfastly on God, forgetting the surrounding situations. Then He will surely keep us in perfect peace.
