தண்டனை / PUNISHMENT

 ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,090       💚 பிப்ரவரி 03, 2024 💚 சனிக்கிழமை  💚 

"பூமியின் எல்லா வம்சங்களுக்குள்ளும் உங்களைமாத்திரம் அறிந்துகொண்டேன்; ஆகையால் உங்களுடைய எல்லா அக்கிரமங்களினிமித்தமும் உங்களைத் தண்டிப்பேன்." ( ஆமோஸ் 3 : 2 )

பொதுவாக குடும்பங்களில்  நல்ல பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் பள்ளிக்  கூடங்களிலும்  நன்றாகப் படிக்கும் குழந்தைகளுக்கும் தனி கவனிப்பு கிடைக்கும். மட்டுமல்ல, அப்படி நல்லவர்களாக இருக்கும் குழந்தைகள் சிறு தவறு செய்தாலும் அது மிகப் பெரிதாகப் பார்க்கப்படும். "உன்னை நான் எப்படியோ எண்ணியிருந்தேன் நீபோய் இப்படியொரு காரியத்தைச் செய்து விட்டாயே?" என்று பெற்றோரும் ஆசிரியர்களும் அங்கலாய்ப்பார்கள்.  ஆம் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்கள் செய்யும் சிறு தவறும் பெரிதாகப் பார்க்கப்படும். 

தேவனும் இதுபோலவே மனிதர்களைப்  பார்க்கின்றார். தனது கிருபையாலும் தெரிந்துகொள்ளுதலினாலும் இப்படி அவர் தெரிந்துகொள்கின்றவர்களிடம் பரிவு  காட்டுகின்றார். "அப்படியே, யாக்கோபைச் சிநேகித்து, ஏசாவை வெறுத்தேன் என்றும் எழுதியிருக்கிறது." ( ரோமர் 9 : 13 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். மேலும்,  "ஆதலால் எவன்மேல் இரக்கமாயிருக்கச் சித்தமாயிருக்கிறாரோ அவன்மேல் இரக்கமாயிருக்கிறார், எவனைக் கடினப்படுத்தச் சித்தமாயிருக்கிறாரோ அவனைக் கடினப்படுத்துகிறார்.' ( ரோமர் 9 : 18 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.

யாக்கோபு, தாவீது இவர்களது வாழ்கையினைப்பார்த்தால் இவர்கள் பல்வேறு தவறுகள் செய்தவர்களாகவே இருந்தனர். ஆனால் அவர்களைத் தேவன் தெரிந்துகொண்டதால் அவர்களைத் தண்டித்து ஏற்றுக்கொண்டார்.  

இப்படியே தேவன் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களையும் தெரிந்துகொண்டார். புதிய ஏற்பாட்டுக் காலத்திலும் இப்படியே அவர் மனிதர்களைத் தெரிந்துகொள்கின்றார். ஆவிக்குரிய இஸ்ரவேலராகிய நம்மையும் அவர் இப்படியே தெரிந்துகொண்டுள்ளார். எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு, "நீங்களோ, உங்களை அந்தகாரத்தினின்று தம்முடைய ஆச்சரியமான ஒளியினிடத்திற்கு வரவழைத்தவருடைய புண்ணியங்களை அறிவிக்கும்படிக்குத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட சந்ததியாயும், ராஜரீகமான ஆசாரியக்கூட்டமாயும், பரிசுத்த ஜாதியாயும், அவருக்குச் சொந்தமான ஜனமாயும் இருக்கிறீர்கள்." ( 1 பேதுரு 2 : 9 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

இப்படி அவர் தெரிந்துகொண்டுள்ளதால் நமது எல்லா அக்கிரமங்களினிமித்தமும் உங்களைத் தண்டிப்பேன் என்று கூறுகின்றார். "நீங்கள் சிட்சையைச் சகிக்கிறவர்களாயிருந்தால் தேவன் உங்களைப் புத்திரராக எண்ணி நடத்துகிறார்; தகப்பன் சிட்சியாத புத்திரனுண்டோ?" ( எபிரெயர் 12 : 7 )

இந்த உலகத்தின் பல துன்மார்க்கர்கள் எவ்வளவோ தவறுகள் செய்தாலும் செழித்து எந்த குறையுமில்லாமல் வாழ்வதை நாம் காணலாம். ஆனால் அதனைவிட சிறு தவறு செய்யும் ஆவிக்குரிய மனிதர்கள் பெரிய தண்டனையை தேவனிடமிருந்து பெறுகின்றனர். காரணம் அவர் நம்மைப் புத்திரராக எண்ணி நடத்துவதுதான். 

இப்படித் தேவன் தண்டித்தாலும் இறுதியில் அது நமக்குச் சமாதானத்தைத் தருவதாக இருக்கும்.  "எந்தச் சிட்சையும் தற்காலத்தில் சந்தோஷமாய்க் காணாமல் துக்கமாய்க் காணும்; ஆகிலும் பிற்காலத்தில் அதில் பழகினவர்களுக்கு அது நீதியாகிய சமாதான பலனைத் தரும்." ( எபிரெயர் 12 : 11 )

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் நமக்குத் தண்டனைகளைத் தேவன் தரும்போது அதன் காரணத்தைக் கண்டறிந்து நம்மைத் திருத்திக்கொள்ளவேண்டும். நம்மை அவர் தெரிந்துகொண்டதால்தான் தண்டிக்கிறார் எனும் அறிவு நமக்கு வேண்டும். பூமியின் எல்லா வம்சங்களுக்குள்ளும் நம்மை மட்டும்  அறிந்துகொண்டதால் நம்முடைய  எல்லா அக்கிரமங்களினிமித்தமும் நம்மைத் தண்டிப்பேன் என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.  எனவே நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வை எச்சரிக்கையுடன் வாழ்வோம்.

                        PUNISHMENT

‘AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,090 💚 February 03, 2024 💚 Saturday 💚

"You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore, I will punish you for all your iniquities." (Amos 3: 2)

Generally good children in families and children who do well in schools get special attention. Not only that, children who are so good, even if they make a small mistake, it will be viewed very seriously. "I was expecting more from you…. Alas, and you have gone and done something like this?" parents and teachers will say like that. Yes, even the smallest mistakes made by those loved will be looked big.

God sees people in the same way. By his grace and knowledge, he shows compassion to those he knows. "As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated." (Romans 9: 13) we read. And, "Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth." (Romans 9: 18) it is said.

If you look at the lives of Jacob and David, they made many mistakes. But because God knew them, He punished them and accepted them.

This is how God knew the people of Israel. This is how he knows people in the New Testament. This is how He has identified us as spiritual Israelites. That is why the apostle Peter said, "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;" (1 Peter 2: 9)

As God knows us like this, he says that he will punish you for all our iniquities. "If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?" (Hebrews 12: 7)

We see many of the wicked people of this world prospering and living flawlessly despite their many mistakes. But spiritual men who commit minor mistakes receive greater punishment from God. The reason is that he treats us as sons.

Even if God punishes in this way, it will give us peace in the end. "Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby." (Hebrews 12: 11)

Yes, dear ones, when God gives us punishments in spiritual life, we should find out the reason and correct ourselves. We need the knowledge that He punishes us only because He knows us. “Because I know only you among all the families of the earth, I will punish you for all your iniquities, says the Lord God. So let us live our spiritual lives with caution.
