ஆவிக்கென்று விதைத்தல் / SOWING TO THE SPIRIT

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,094     💚 பிப்ரவரி 07, 2024 💚புதன்கிழமை 💚 

"நன்மைசெய்கிறதில் சோர்ந்துபோகாமல் இருப்போமாக; நாம் தளர்ந்துபோகாதிருந்தால் ஏற்றகாலத்தில் அறுப்போம்." ( கலாத்தியர் 6 : 9 )

நன்மை செய்வதை அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பவுல் விதை விதைத்தலுக்கு ஒப்பிடுகின்றார். விதை விதைக்கின்றவன் விதைத்த உடனேயே அதன் பலனை அனுபவிப்பதில்லை. பயிரானது வளர்ந்து பலன்தர காலதாமதம் ஆகும். ஆனால் அதனால் விவசாயி சோர்ந்துபோவதில்லை. அதுபோல நாமும் நன்மைசெய்துவிட்டு உடனேயே அதன் பலன் கிடைக்கும் என்று எண்ணிடாமல் சோர்ந்துபோகாமல் இருக்கவேண்டும் என்கின்றார். எனவே தொடர்ந்து அவர் கூறுகின்றார்:-

"ஆகையால் நமக்குக் கிடைக்கும் சமயத்திற்குத்தக்கதாக, யாவருக்கும், குறிப்பாக விசுவாச குடும்பத்தார்களுக்கும், நன்மைசெய்யக்கடவோம்." ( கலாத்தியர் 6 : 10 )

நமக்கு கிடைக்கும் நேரத்திற்கேற்றவாறு நாம் எல்லோருக்கும் நம்மை செய்திடவேண்டும். அதிலும் குறிப்பாக, விசுவாச குடும்பத்திற்கு நன்மை செய்யவேண்டும் என்கின்றார்.  உதவி செய்யவேண்டுமென்று கூறாமல் அவர் நன்மை செய்யவேண்டும் என்ற வார்த்தைகளைப் பயன்படுத்துகின்றார்.  அதாவது, பொருளாதார உதவி தேவைப்படுகின்றவர்களுக்கு உதவியும் மற்றவர்களுக்கு நம்மால் முடிந்த நல்ல காரியங்களையும் செய்திடவேண்டும். 

நன்மை செய்வது எல்லோருக்கும் கிடைக்கக்கூடிய வாய்ப்புதான். நாம் எல்லோருமே ஏதாவது நன்மையினைப் பிறருக்குச் செய்யமுடியும். ஒரு வழிகாட்டுதலாக இருக்கலாம், அறிவுரையாக இருக்கலாம், ஒருவரால் தனியாகச் செல்ல இயலாத இடத்துக்கு அவரோடு உதவியாகச் செல்வதாக இருக்கலாம்.....இப்படி ஏதாவது ஒரு நன்மையினை நாம் செய்யலாம். மனிதன் சமூகமாக வாழப் படைக்கப்பட்டவன். உதவிசெய்யும்போது நாம் சக மனிதர்களோடுள்ள உறவினை வலுப்படுத்துகின்றோம்.  

ஒருமுறை நகராட்சி அலுவலகத்தில் நானும் இன்னுமொரு ஊழியரும் ஒரு சிறு வேலைக்காகச் சென்றிருந்தோம். அப்போது அங்கு பணியிலிருந்த அலுவலர் எங்களைக் கண்டவுடன், "பிரதர், எனக்கு உங்களைத் தெரியும், நான் உங்களுக்கு என்ன உதவி செய்ய வேண்டும்?" என்று கேட்டவாறு எங்களுக்கு அனைத்து உதவிகளையும் செய்து தந்தார். அவர் எங்களுக்கு பொருளாதார உதவி செய்யவில்லை; மாறாக எங்களுக்கு அவர் நன்மை செய்தார்.   இப்படி நாமும் பொருளாதார உதவிகள் செய்ய நம்மால் இயலாவிட்டாலும்  நம்மால் இயன்ற நன்மைகளைப் பிறருக்குச்  செய்யவேண்டும் என்கின்றார் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர். 

ஆனால் சிலர் எந்த நல்ல செயல் செய்தாலும் அது தங்களுக்கு ஏதாவது நன்மை தருமா என்று கணக்குப் பார்த்துச் செய்வார்கள். இப்படிச் செய்வதை அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் மாம்சத்துக்கு விதைத்தல் எனும் வார்த்தைகளால் விளக்குகின்றார். இப்படி சுய லாபம் கருதி நன்மைசெய்பவர்கள் அழிவையே அறுப்பார்கள் என்கின்றார். "தன் மாம்சத்திற்கென்று விதைக்கிறவன் மாம்சத்தினால் அழிவை அறுப்பான்; ஆவிக்கென்று விதைக்கிறவன் ஆவியினாலே நித்தியஜீவனை அறுப்பான்." ( கலாத்தியர் 6 : 8 )

எனவே நாம் செய்யும் செயலைவிட அந்தச் செயலைச் செய்யும் நோக்கத்தையே தேவன் பெரிதாக எண்ணுகின்றார் என்பது புரியும். நமது இருதயத்தின் உள் நினைவுகளை அவர் அறிவார். நல்ல மனதுடன் நாம் நன்மைகளைச்  செய்யும்போது நல்ல பலனைத் தேவன் நமக்குத் தருவார். ஆம், இப்படி  "நன்மைசெய்கிறதில் சோர்ந்துபோகாமல் இருப்போமாக; நாம் தளர்ந்துபோகாதிருந்தால் ஏற்றகாலத்தில் அறுப்போம்." அதாவது, ஆவிக்குரிய அன்போடு நாம் நன்மை செய்யும்போது  ஆவியினாலே நித்தியஜீவனை அடைவோம்.

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." (Galatians 6: 9)

The apostle Paul compares doing good to sowing seeds. He who sows the seeds does not enjoy its fruit immediately after sowing. Crop growth and fruiting are delayed. But the farmer does not get tired because of that. Similarly, we should not get tired after doing good without thinking that we will get its benefits immediately. So he goes on to say:-

"As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith." (Galatians 6: 10)

We should do good to everyone according to the time available to us. In particular, he said that the household of faith should be helped. He uses the words to do good, not to help. That is, we should help those who need financial help and do good things for others as much as we can.

Doing good is an opportunity available to everyone. We all can do something good for others. It may be a guidance, it may be an advice, it may be to help a person go where he cannot go alone...we can do something good like this. Man was created to live socially. When we help, we strengthen our relationships with our fellow human beings.

Once myself along with my pastor friend went to the municipal office for a small job. When the officer on duty saw us, he said, "Brother, I know you, what can I do for you?" He gave us all the help as asked. He did not help us financially; Instead he did us good. Apostle Paul says that even if we are not able to provide financial assistance, we should do what we can to help others.

But some do any good deed after calculating whether it will benefit them. The apostle Paul describes doing this with the words sowing to the flesh. He says that those who do good for their own benefit will only reap destruction. "For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting." (Galatians 6: 8)

Therefore, it is understood that God considers the intention of doing that action more important than the action we do. He knows the innermost thoughts of our hearts. When we do good deeds with a good heart, God will give us good results. Yes, thus "Let us not grow weary in doing good; if we do not grow weary, we will reap in due season." That is, when we do good with spiritual love, we attain eternal life through the Spirit.
