பறந்து காக்கிற பட்சிகளைப்போல / LIKE THE BIRDS THAT FLY AND GUARD

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,115       💚 பிப்ரவரி 28, 2024 💚 புதன்கிழமை 💚  

"சிங்கமும் பாலசிங்கமும் தங்கள் இரையைப் பிடித்திருக்கும்போது கெர்ச்சித்து, தங்களுக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கூப்பிடுகிற திரளான மேய்ப்பரின் சத்தத்தினாலே கலங்காமலும், அவர்கள் அமளியினாலே பணியாமலும் இருக்கிறதுபோல, சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சீயோன் மலைக்காகவும், அதின் மேட்டுக்காகவும் யுத்தம்பண்ண இறங்குவார்." ( ஏசாயா 31 : 4 )

கர்த்தருடைய பரிசுத்த சீயோனுக்கு ஏற்ற  மக்களாக நாம் வாழும்போது கர்த்தரது கரம் நமக்கு எத்தகைய பாதுகாப்பினைத் தரும் என்பதனை இன்றைய வசனம் விளக்குகின்றது. 

மேய்ப்பர்கள் மந்தையினை மேய்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும்போது சிலவேளைகளில் சிங்கம் போன்ற கொடிய விலங்குகள் வந்து ஆடுகளைக் கவர்ந்துசெல்வதுண்டு. அப்படித் தனது குட்டிகளுடன் சிங்கம் வந்து ஆடுகளைப் பிடிக்கும்போது மேய்ப்பர்கள் ஒன்றுசேர்ந்து குரலெழுப்பி அதனைத் துரத்துவார்கள். ஆனால் அந்தக் கூக்குரலுக்குச் சிங்கம் பயப்படாது. தான் பிடித்த ஆட்டை விடவும் செய்யாது. இப்படியே தேவனும் பிடிவாத வைராக்கியமாகத் தனது மக்களுக்காகச் செயல்படுவேன் என்கின்றார். 

மேலும் அடுத்த வசனத்தில் ஏசாயா கூறுகின்றார், "பறந்து காக்கிற பட்சிகளைப்போல, சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் எருசலேமின்மேல் ஆதரவாக இருப்பார்; அவர் அதைக் காத்துத் தப்பப்பண்ணுவார்; அவர் கடந்துவந்து அதை விடுவிப்பார்." ( ஏசாயா 31 : 5 )

வீட்டில் கோழி வளர்பவர்கள் தாய்க்கோழித் தனது குஞ்சுகளை காகம் பருந்து போன்றவற்றிடமிருந்து காப்பாற்ற போராடுவதைப் பார்த்திருக்கலாம்.  தன்னால் அவைகளுக்கு ஒப்பாகப் பறக்க முடியாவிட்டாலும் தாய்க்கோழியானது முயன்றவரை பறந்து தனது குஞ்சுகளைப் பாதுகாக்கும். சிலவேளைகளில் காகத்தைக் கொத்திக் கொன்றுவிடுவதுமுண்டு. அதுபோல தேவன் நமக்கு ஆதரவாக இருப்பார் என்று இந்த வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வோமென்றால் நமக்குத் தேவனிடமிருந்து இத்தகைய பாதுகாப்புக் கிடைக்கும். பிரச்சனைகள் நம்மை நெருக்கலாம், அல்லது நமக்கு எதிராகச் சிலர் செயல்பட்டுக்கொண்டிருக்கலாம். ஆனால் அவர்களுக்குத் தாங்கள்  யூத ராஜ சிங்கத்தோடு மோதுகின்றோம் என்பது தெரியாது. துணித்து நமக்கு எதிராகச் செயல்பட்டுக்கொண்டே இருப்பார்களென்றால் அவர்களது வாழ்க்கைப் பரிதாபகரமானதாகவே இருக்கும்.

கர்த்தரது  இத்தகைய பாதுகாப்பையும் உடனிருப்பையும் அனுபவத்தில் உணர்ந்த தாவீது கூறுகின்றார், "கர்த்தர் என் கன்மலையும், என் கோட்டையும், என் இரட்சகரும், என் தேவனும், நான் அடைக்கலம்புகும் என் துருகமும், என் கேடகமும், என் இரட்சணியக் கொம்பும், என் உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமுமாயிருக்கிறார்." ( சங்கீதம் 18 : 2 )

கர்த்தரது  உடனிருப்பை நாம் உறுதி செய்துகொள்வோமானால் நாம் எந்த பிரச்சனை, துன்பம் வந்தாலும் உறுதியுடன் நிற்க முடியும்.  "அவர் என் தயாபரரும், என் கோட்டையும், என் உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமும், என்னை விடுவிக்கிறவரும், என் கேடகமும், நான் நம்பினவரும், என் ஜனங்களை எனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்துகிறவருமாயிருக்கிறார்." ( சங்கீதம் 144 : 2 ) என்று தாவீதைப்போல நம்பிக்கையுடன் கூறமுடியும். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, பறந்து காக்கிற பட்சிகளைப்போல, சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் நமக்கு ஆதரவாக இருப்பார்; அவர் நம்மைக் காத்துத் தப்பப்பண்ணுவார்; அவர் கடந்துவந்து நம்மை விடுவிப்பார். கலங்காமல் உறுதியுடன் இருப்போம்.

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,115 💚 February 28, 2024 💚 Wednesday 💚

"Like the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice nor abase himself for the noise of them; so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion and for the hill thereof." (Isaiah 31:4)

Today's verse explains what kind of protection the Lord's hand will give us when we live as people suitable for God's holy Zion.

While the shepherds are tending the flock, sometimes deadly animals like lions come and prey on the sheep. Thus, when a lion comes with its cubs and catches the sheep, the shepherds gather together and chase it away. But the lion is not afraid of that cry. He will not let go of his favourite goat. In the same way, God says that He will work for His people with stubborn zeal.

And in the next verse, Isaiah says, "As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it." (Isaiah 31:5)

Chicken keepers at home may have probably seen a mother hen struggle to protect her chicks from crows and hawks. Although she cannot fly like them, the mother hen will fly to protect her chicks when she tries. Sometimes the crow is killed. This verse also says that God will support us.

Beloved, if we live a godly life, we will have such protection from God. Troubles may overwhelm us, or some may be working against us. But they did not know that they were facing the King Lion of the Jews. If they dare to continue working against us, their lives will be miserable.

David, who experienced such protection and presence of the Lord, says, "The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower." (Psalms 18:2)

If we make sure of God's presence, we can stand firm no matter what problem or suffering comes. "My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me." (Psalms 144:2), we can say with confidence, like David.

Yea, beloved, like birds that fly and guard, the Lord of hosts will support us; He will keep us safe; He will come through and set us free. Let us not be dismayed but be determined.
