ஆதவன் 🔥 979🌻 அக்டோபர் 03, 2023 செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை

"என் வாக்கைக் கேளாமல் பார்வோனின் பெலத்தினாலே பெலக்கவும், எகிப்தின் நிழலிலே ஒதுங்கவேண்டும் என்று எகிப்துக்குப் போகிறவர்களுமாகிய முரட்டாட்டமுள்ள புத்திரருக்கு ஐயோ! என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்." ( ஏசாயா 30 : 2 )

எகிப்து  என்பது நமது பழைய பாவ வாழ்க்கையைக் குறிக்கின்றது. இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை எகிப்தியரின் அடிமைத்தனத்திலிருந்து மோசே மீட்டு கானானை நோக்கி வழி நடத்தியதுபோல கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து நம்மை பாவத்தின் அடிமைத்தனத்திலிருந்து மீட்டு பரம கானானை நோக்கி வழிநடத்துகின்றார்.

மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை கானானுக்குநேராக நடத்தியபோது தேவன் அவர்களுக்கு குறிப்பிட்ட ஒரு  கட்டளை "எகிப்துக்குத் திரும்பிச் செல்லவேண்டாம்' என்பதுதான். ஆனால் அந்த மக்கள் எகிப்தின் செழிப்பிலும் அங்கு தாங்கள் அனுபவித்த நன்மைகளிலும் நாட்டம் கொண்டு அவை இப்போது கிடைக்காததால் மோசே மீது கோபம் கொண்டனர். தங்களுக்கு ஒரு தலைவனை ஏற்படுத்திக்கொண்டு எகிப்துக்குத் திரும்பிச்செல்ல முயன்றனர். தேவன்மேல் முறுமுறுத்தனர். 

"நாங்கள் பட்டயத்தால் மடியும்படிக்கும், எங்கள் பெண்ஜாதிகளும் பிள்ளைகளும் கொள்ளையாகும்படிக்கும், கர்த்தர் எங்களை இந்த தேசத்துக்குக் கொண்டு வந்தது என்ன? எகிப்துக்குத் திரும்பிப் போகிறதே எங்களுக்கு உத்தமம் அல்லவோ என்றார்கள். பின்பு அவர்கள்: நாம் ஒரு தலைவனை ஏற்படுத்திக்கொண்டு எகிப்துக்குத் திருப்பிப்போவோம் வாருங்கள் என்று ஒருவரோடொருவர் சொல்லிக்கொண்டார்கள்." ( எண்ணாகமம் 14 : 3, 4 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம்.

கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்துகொண்டபின் நமக்கு பழைய காரியங்கள் பலவற்றைச் செய்ய முடியாது. ஏனெனில், கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் நாம் வாழவேண்டுமானால் சில ஒறுத்தல்களைச் செய்யவேண்டும். இவைகளையே சிலுவை சுமக்கும் அனுபவம் என்கின்றோம். நாம் கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்துகொள்ளுமுன் வாழ்த்த வாழ்க்கை நமக்கு இன்பமான வாழ்க்கைபோலத் தெரியும். அதற்காக நாம் கிறிஸ்துவைவிட்டுப் பின்வாங்கினால் எகிப்துக்குத் திரும்பியவர்களாவோம். அப்படி எகிப்தின் நிழலிலே ஒதுங்கவேண்டும் என்று எகிப்துக்குப் போகிறவர்களுமாகிய முரட்டாட்டமுள்ள புத்திரருக்கு ஐயோ! என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

ஏசாயா மூலம் தேவன் இதனையே மீண்டும் வலியுறுத்துகின்றார். "சகாயமடையும்படி இஸ்ரவேலுடைய பரிசுத்தரை நோக்காமலும், கர்த்தரைத் தேடாமலும், எகிப்துக்குப்போய், குதிரைகள்மேல் நம்பிக்கைவைத்து, இரதங்கள் அநேகமாயிருப்பதனால் அவைகளை நாடி, குதிரைவீரர் மகா பெலசாலிகளாயிருப்பதனால் அவர்களை நம்பிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறவர்களுக்கு ஐயோ!" ( ஏசாயா 31 : 1 )

உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் கிடைக்கின்றது என்பதற்காக நாம் கிறிஸ்துவைவிட்டு விலகி பழைய பாவ வாழ்க்கைக்கு நேராகக் சென்றுவிடக் கூடாது.  "குதிரைகள், இரதங்கள் அநேகமாக இருப்பதனால்" என்று இங்கு கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.  இவை செழிப்புக்கு உவமையாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளன. தற்போது விலை உயர்ந்த கார்களை வைத்துள்ளதுபோல அக்காலத்தில் மக்கள் குதிரைகளையும், ஒட்டகங்களையும்  இரத்தங்களையும்  வைத்திருந்தனர்.  கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்துகொண்டபின் பழைய நாட்டம்கொண்டு வாழ்பவர்களுக்கு  ஐயோ! என்று இந்த வசனம் கூறுகின்றது.

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, இஸ்ரவேலுடைய பரிசுத்தரை நோக்காமலும், கர்த்தரைத் தேடாமலும், உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் கிடைக்கின்றது எப்பதற்காக எகிப்து எனும் பழைய வாழ்க்கைக்கு நேராக நாம் செல்வோமானால் நமக்கு ஆசீர்வாதமல்ல; சாபமே வரும் என்று இன்றைய வசனம் அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது. ஆம், எகிப்துக்குத் திரும்பிச் செல்லாமல் நம்மைக் காத்துக்கொள்வோம்.

"That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!" (Isaiah 30: 2)

Egypt represents our old sinful life. Just as Moses rescued the people of Israel from the slavery of the Egyptians and led them to Canaan, the Lord Jesus Christ rescues us from the slavery of sin and leads us to the eternal heavenly Canaan.

When Moses led the people of Israel straight to Canaan, God gave them a commandment "not to go back to Egypt". But the people were angry with Moses because they were interested in the prosperity of Egypt and the benefits they enjoyed there. They tried to make a leader for themselves and go back to Egypt. They grumbled against God.

"And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt? And they said one to another, let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt." (Numbers 14: 3, 4)

After knowing Christ, we can no longer do many of the old things. Because if we want to live in Christ, we have to make some sacrifices. These are what we call the experience of bearing the cross. The life we lived before we knew Christ was known to us as a life of pleasure. For that reason, if we turn away from Christ, it means we are returning to Egypt. Woe to the unruly sons who go to Egypt to hide in the shadow of Egypt! says the Lord.

God reiterates this through Isaiah.  "Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!" (Isaiah 31: 1)

We should not turn away from Christ and go straight to the old sinful life just because worldly blessings are available. It is said here that "horses and chariots”.  These are allegories of prosperity. People in those days owned horses, camels, and chariots just like we own expensive cars today. Woe to those who turn away from Jesus to get worldly things after knowing Christ! This verse says.

Therefore, dear ones, without looking to the Holy One of Israel and seeking the Lord, why do we get worldly blessings. If we go straight to the old life of Egypt, we will not be blessed; Today's verse advises that curse will come on them. Yes, let's keep ourselves from going back to Egypt.
