உபத்திரவம் / TRIBULATIONS

ஆதவன் 🔥 983🌻 அக்டோபர் 07, 2023 சனிக்கிழமை

"தேவனால் எங்களுக்கு அருளப்படுகிற ஆறுதலினாலே, எந்த உபத்திரவத்திலாகிலும் அகப்படுகிறவர்களுக்கு நாங்கள் ஆறுதல்செய்யத் திராணியுள்ளவர்களாகும்படி, எங்களுக்கு வரும் சகல உபத்திரவங்களிலேயும் அவரே எங்களுக்கு ஆறுதல்செய்கிறவர்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 1 : 4 )

இந்த உலகத்தில் நமக்கு உபத்திரவம் உண்டு என்றுதான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறினார். "உலகத்தில் உங்களுக்கு உபத்திரவம் உண்டு, ஆனாலும் திடன்கொள்ளுங்கள்; நான் உலகத்தை ஜெயித்தேன்" ( யோவான் 16 : 33 ) உபத்திரவம் நம்மைப் புடமிடுகின்றது; கிறிஸ்துவைப்போல நாம் மாறிட உபத்திரவம் ஒரு வழியாக இருக்கின்றது. இன்றைய வசனத்தில் அப்போஸ்தலராகிய பவுல் உபாத்திரவப்படுவதன் இன்னொரு காரணத்தை விளக்குகின்றார். 

அதாவது, "எந்த உபத்திரவத்திலாகிலும் அகப்படுகிறவர்களுக்கு நாங்கள் ஆறுதல்செய்யத் திராணியுள்ளவர்களாகும்படி" என்கின்றார். அதாவது இந்த உலகத்தில் மனிதர்கள் பல்வேறு விதமான துன்பங்களை அனுபவித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றார்கள். அந்த மனிதர்களுக்கு ஆறுதல் கொடுக்கத் தகுதியுள்ளவர்களாக நாம் மாறுவதற்கு தேவன் நமக்குத் துன்பங்களைக் கொடுக்கின்றார் என்கின்றார் அவர்.  

நமது கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து சிலுவையில் பட்டப்பாடுகளும் இதனால்தான்.  இதனையே நாம் எபிரெயருக்கு எழுதிய நிருபத்தில், "நம்முடைய பலவீனங்களைக்குறித்துப் பரிதபிக்கக்கூடாத பிரதான ஆசாரியர் நமக்கிராமல், எல்லாவிதத்திலும் நம்மைப்போல் சோதிக்கப்பட்டும், பாவமில்லாதவராயிருக்கிற பிரதான ஆசாரியரே நமக்கிருக்கிறார்." ( எபிரெயர் 4 : 15 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். ஆம், எல்லாவிதத்திலும் அவரும் நம்மைபோலச் சோதிக்கப்பட்டார். "ஆதலால், அவர்தாமே சோதிக்கப்பட்டுப் பாடுபட்டதினாலே, அவர் சோதிக்கப்படுகிறவர்களுக்கு உதவிசெய்ய வல்லவராயிருக்கிறார்." ( எபிரெயர் 2 : 18 ) 

'தனக்கு வந்தால்தான் தெரியும் தலைவலியும் காய்ச்சலும்' என்று ஒரு பழமொழி உண்டு. அதாவது நாம் வெட்டிப் பேச்சாக பிறருக்கு ஆலோசனைகள் கூறலாம். ஆனால் அந்தத் துன்பத்தை அனுபவிக்கும் மனிதனுக்குத்தான் உண்மையான வலி புரியும். நாம் வீண் அறிவுரைகள் கூறிக்கொண்டிருப்போமானால் துன்பப்படும் மனிதர்களுக்கு அது வெற்று உபதேசமாகவேத் தெரியும். 

இன்றைய வசனம் மேலும் கூறுகின்றது, அப்படி நாம் துன்பம் அனுபவித்தாலும் தேவன் அதனோடுகூட ஆறுதலும் தருவார் என்கின்றது. அதாவது, "எங்களுக்கு வரும் சகல உபத்திரவங்களிலேயும் அவரே எங்களுக்கு ஆறுதல்செய்கிறவர்." என்கின்றார் பவுல்.

மனிதர்களுக்கு ஆறுதலாளிக்கும் கருவிகளாக நாம் பயன்படுவதற்கு நாம் தகுதியுள்ளவர்கள் ஆகும்படி முதலில் நமக்குத் தூபங்களைத் தந்து, ஆறுதலையும் அளித்து அதுபோல நாமும் துன்பப்படும் மனிதர்களுக்கு ஆறுதல் அளிக்கும்படிச் செய்கின்றார். 

அதாவது தேவன் நம்மை வெறும் புத்தகப் படிப்பை மட்டுமல்ல; மாறாக விஞ்ஞானத் தேர்வுக்குத் தயாராகும் மாணவன் செய்முறை பயிற்சியும் பெறுவதுபோல நமக்கும் பயிற்சியளிக்கின்றார். இப்படி தேவன் பயிற்சியளிப்பதால் பிறருக்கு ஆறுதல் அளிக்கும் நாமும் உத்தமர்கள் ஆகின்றோம். "சோதனையைச் சகிக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்; அவன் உத்தமனென்று விளங்கினபின்பு கர்த்தர் தம்மிடத்தில் அன்புகூருகிறவர்களுக்கு வாக்குத்தத்தம்பண்ணின ஜீவகிரீடத்தைப் பெறுவான்." ( யாக்கோபு 1 : 12 )

சோதனைகளை பொறுமையோடு தங்கி, மற்றவர்களுக்கும் ஆறுதலாளிக்கும் கருவிகளாக மாறுவோம்.

                                        TRIBULATIONS

"Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God." ( 2 Corinthians 1 : 4 )

Jesus Christ said that we have tribulation in this world. "In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." (John 16: 33) Tribulations test us; Suffering is a way for us to become Christ like. In today's verse, the apostle Paul explains another reason for tribulations.

"That we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble." That is, people are experiencing various kinds of suffering in this world. He says, that God gives us sufferings so that we become worthy to comfort those people.

This is why our Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross. This is what we read in the Epistle to the Hebrews, "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin." (Hebrews 4: 15) we read. Yes, he was tempted in every way as we are. "For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted." (Hebrews 2: 18)

There is a proverb that says, 'You know the pain of headache and a fever only when you get it'. That is, we may give advice to others; but only the real pain is understood by the person counselling others, he can provide good comfort to others. If we give vain advice, suffering people will take it as empty advice.

Today's verse also says that even if we suffer, God will also comfort us. That is, "He comforts us in all our troubles." Paul said. God first gives us troubles and then comforts us so that we may be fit to be used as instruments of comfort to men, so that we may also comfort suffering men.

That is, God does not just make us study books only; On the contrary, he is qualifying us like a student preparing for a science exam is getting practical training. As God trains us in this way, we who comfort others also become better. "Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him." (James 1: 12)

May we endure trials patiently and become instruments of comfort and encouragement to others.
