கனியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை

 ஆதவன் 🖋️ 673 ⛪ டிசம்பர் 01,  2022 வியாழக்கிழமை

"ஆவியின் கனியோ, அன்பு, சந்தோஷம், சமாதானம், நீடியபொறுமை, தயவு, நற்குணம், விசுவாசம், சாந்தம், இச்சையடக்கம்; இப்படிப்பட்டவைகளுக்கு விரோதமான பிரமாணம் ஒன்றுமில்லை." (  கலாத்தியர் 5 : 22, 23 )

ஒருமுறை ஹோட்டல் ஒன்றில் மாலை உணவருந்த சென்றிருந்தபோதுஒரு கிறிஸ்தவ ஊழியரும் தனது குடும்பத்துடன் வந்திருந்தார். "பேமிலி ரூம்" என தனியே குறிக்கப்பட்டிருந்த அந்த அறையினுள் பலர் குடும்பம் குடும்பமாக அமர்ந்திருந்தனர். ஊழியர் ஆர்டர் செய்த உணவுப் பொருட்கள் வந்ததும்  அவர் எல்லோரும் பார்த்திருக்க ஜெபம் செய்யத் துவங்கிவிட்டார். அதனை எல்லோரும் கவனித்தனர். உணவு பரிமாற அங்கு நின்று கொண்டிருந்த  ஹோட்டல் பணியாளர்களும் கவனித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தனர். 

ஜெபம் முடிந்தபின் பின் சாப்பிட ஆரம்பித்தனர். நான் அந்த ஊழியரைக் கவனித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தேன்.  அந்த  ஊழியர்  உணவு பரிமாறக்கூடிய பணியாளர்களிடம் கடுகடுப்பாகவே பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்தார். நானும் இந்த ஊழியர் இப்படி சப்தம்போட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கிறாரே எண்ணிக்கொண்டிருந்தேன்.

ஒருகட்டத்தில் திடீரென்று பெரிய சத்தம் கேட்டு சாப்பிட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்த அனைவரும் திடுக்கிட்டோம். அந்த ஊழியர் தனது ஜிப்பாவின் கையைச் சுருட்டிவைத்துக்கொண்டு எழுந்துநின்று ஒரு ஹோட்டல் பணியாளரை அடிப்பதற்குப் பாய்வதுபோல நின்றுகொண்டு  இருந்தார். பெரிய சத்தத்தில் திட்டிக்கொண்டிருந்தார். காரணம், அந்தப் பணியாளர் சாம்பாரை ஊற்றியபோது கவனக்குறைவாக சிறிது சாம்பார் ஊழியரது ஆடையில் பட்டுவிட்டது.  பிறகு அங்கு பணியிலிருந்த மேலாளர் வந்து சமாதானப் படுத்தினார்.

பல மதங்களிலுள்ள மக்களும் அங்கு இருந்தோம். இந்த ஊழியர் முதலில் ஜெபிக்காமல் சாப்பிட்டிருந்தால்கூட யாருக்கும் இவரை யார் என்று தெரிந்திருக்காது. முதலில் ஜெபித்துத் தன்னை ஒரு கிறிஸ்தவன் என்றுக் காண்பித்து தனது சாட்சியற்ற செயலால் மற்றவர்கள் முன் கிறிஸ்துவை அவமானப்படுத்திவிட்டார் இவர். !

ஒரு ஆவிக்குரிய மனிதன் என்பது நமது வெள்ளை ஆடையிலோ, ஜிப்பாவிலோ அல்ல, நமது சாட்சியுள்ள செயல்களில் விளங்கவேண்டும். இந்த சாட்சியுள்ள குணங்களையே கனிகள் என்று  வேதம் கூறுகிறது. நல்ல மரம் நல்ல கனிகளைக் கொடுக்கும், கெட்ட மரமோ கெட்ட கனிகளைக் கொடுக்கும்...கனிகளால் மரத்தை அறிவர் என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறவில்லையா?.

உள்ளான மனிதனில் மாற்றம் வராமல், வெளி அலங்காரங்களும், ஆவிக்குரிய மனிதன் என நம்மைக் காண்பிக்க நாம் எடுக்கும் முயற்சிகளும் தோல்வியாகவே முடியும். நல்ல குணம் என்பது இயற்கையாக வெளிவரும். அதற்கு முயற்சிகள் தேவையில்லை. நான் மேலே குறிப்பிட்ட ஊழியரைவிட அமைதியாக சாந்தமாக செயல்படும் கிறிஸ்துவை அறியாத மக்கள் பலரை நான்பார்த்திருக்கிறேன்.

அன்பானவர்களே ! நமது வாழ்க்கையே சுவிசேஷ அறிவிப்பு. பக்கம் பக்கமாக எழுதுவதாலேயோ,  நீண்ட சொற்பொழிவுகளை கவர்ச்சியான முறையில் செய்வதாலேயே கிறிஸ்துவை அறிவிக்க முடியாது. இன்று கிறிஸ்தவ ஊழியர்களைவிட மக்களைக் கவரக்கூடிய முறையில் பேசக்கூடிய அரசியல்வாதிகள் பலர் நமது நாட்டில் உள்ளனர்.

ஆவிக்குரிய மனிதன் என்பது நமது செயல்களால் மக்களுக்குத் தெரிய  வேண்டும்.  உதாரணமாக 50 பேர் பணிபுரியும் இடத்தில இருக்கிறீர்களா ? நீங்கள் ஆவிக்குரிய மனிதனானால் உங்கள் குணம் அந்த 50 பேரிலிருந்து வேறுபட்டுத் தெரியவேண்டும். "ஆவியின் கனி, சகல நற்குணத்திலும் நீதியிலும் உண்மையிலும் விளங்கும். (  எபேசியர் 5 : 9 )"

கனி நிறைந்த ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழ தேவனிடம் நம்மை ஒப்படைத்து ஜெபிப்போம். நமது கனிகளைக் கொண்டு பிறரை ஆதாயமாக்கிக் கொள்வோம் !

Fruitful Life

 AATHAVAN 🖋️ 673 ⛪ December 01, 2022 Thursday

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." ( Galatians 5 : 22, 23 )

Once, while I was having my dinner in a hotel, a Christian pastor came there with his family. Many families were sitting in that room which was marked separately as "Family Room". When the food ordered by the pastor arrived, he began to pray for the food and everyone in that room noticed it. The waiters who were standing there also watched it.

After the prayer, they started eating. As his behaviour was different, I had an eye on the pastor while eating my food.  The pastor was speaking harshly to the waiter. 

At one point we suddenly heard a loud noise and everyone eating were startled. The pastor stood up with the sleeve of his jacket rolled up, as if he was about to strike a hotel waiter. He was cursing loudly. The reason is that when the waiter served,  some gravy inadvertently got on the pastor's clothes. Then the hotel manager came and calmed down.

People of many religions were there. If this pastor had his food without praying first, no one would have known who he was. He has dishonored Christ before others by his unwitnessed act of first praying and pretending to be a Christian. 

A spiritual man is not to be identified with his white cloths or pretended life, but in the witnessing actions. The scriptures say that these witness qualities are fruits. A good tree bears good fruit, a bad tree bears bad fruit...Didn't Jesus Christ say that you know a tree by its fruits?.

Without a change in the inner man, external decorations and our efforts to present ourselves as a spiritual man will fail. Good character comes naturally. It does not require efforts. I have seen many people who do not know Christ who act more quietly and meekly than the pastor I mentioned above.

Beloved! Our lives are evangelism. Christ cannot be preached by page after page of writing or long sermons in an attractive manner. There are more politicians in our country today who can speak in a more persuasive manner than Christian ministers.

A spiritual man should be known by his deeds. For example, are you in an office where 50 people work? If you are a spiritual person, your character should be different from those 50 people. "For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth" (Ephesians 5:9)"

Let us surrender ourselves to God and pray for a fruitful life. Let's benefit others with our fruits!

காணிக்கையால் அல்ல..

 ஆதவன் 🖋️ 672 ⛪ நவம்பர் 30,  2022 புதன்கிழமை

"தனக்குப் பதில்கிடைக்கும்படிக்கு முந்தி அவருக்கு ஒன்றைக் கொடுத்தவன் யார்? சகலமும் அவராலும் அவர் மூலமாயும் அவருக்காகவும் இருக்கிறது." ( ரோமர் 11 : 35, 36 )

இந்த உலகத்தில் மனிதர்கள் தங்களுக்கு ஏதாவது உதவித் தேவையென்றால் எந்த வழியிலாவது அதனைப் பெற்றிடத் தயங்குவதில்லை. அரசாங்கத்தில் ஏதாவது சலுகையோ அல்லது சான்றிதழோ தேவையென்றால் கைக்கூலி கொடுத்து அதனைப் பெற்றிடவே முயலுகின்றனர். மனிதர்களது இந்த குறுகிய புத்தி அவர்களை தேவனிடம் நெருங்கும்போதும் தொடருகின்றது. இதற்கு மக்களை வழிகாட்டும் ஊழியர்களும் ஒரு காரணம். 

தேவனிடம் ஏதாவது ஆசீர்வாதம் பெறவேண்டுமானால் அவருக்கு ஏதாவது கொடுக்கவேண்டும் என்று போதித்து மக்களை அப்படியே வழிநடத்துகின்றனர். ஆயிரம் ரூபாய்  காணிக்கை கொடுத்தால் தேவன் அதனைப் பத்தாயிரமாகத் திருப்பித் தருவார்; இரண்டாயிரம் கொடுத்தால் இருபதாயிரமாக திருப்பித் தருவார்  என்றும்  தேவனுக்குக் காணிக்கை கொடுக்கும் அளவினைப் பொறுத்தே அவர் நம்மை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார் என்றும்  முட்டாள் போதனையை பிரபல ஊழியர்கள் வழங்கி மக்களை தேவ அன்பில்லாதவர்களாக மாற்றிவிட்டனர். 

அதிகமாக காணிக்கை அளித்த செல்வந்தர்களது காணிக்கையையல்ல, ஏழை விதவையின் இரண்டு காசு காணிக்கையினைத்தான்  இயேசு கிறிஸ்து மேன்மையாகக் கருதினார். அந்தக் காணிக்கைக் குறித்து  கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறியது நமக்கு எப்போதும் நினைவில் கொள்ளவேண்டிய ஒன்றாகும். "அவர்களெல்லாரும் தங்கள் பரிபூரணத்திலிருந்தெடுத்துப் போட்டார்கள்; இவளோ தன் வறுமையிலிருந்து தன் ஜீவனத்துக்கு உண்டாயிருந்ததெல்லாம் போட்டுவிட்டாள்." ( மாற்கு 12 : 44 ) என்றார் இயேசு. மேலும், அந்த விதவை தனக்கு இரட்டிப்பான ஆசீர்வாதம் வேண்டுமென்று காணிக்கை கொடுக்கவில்லை; கர்த்தருக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும் எனும் ஆர்வத்தில் கொடுத்தாள்.  

செல்வ ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் பெறவேண்டும் எனும் எண்ணத்தில் காணிக்கை கொடுக்கும் மனிதர்களைப் பார்த்துதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "தனக்குப் பதில்கிடைக்கும்படிக்கு முந்தி அவருக்கு ஒன்றைக் கொடுத்தவன் யார்? சகலமும் அவராலும் அவர் மூலமாயும் அவருக்காகவும் இருக்கிறது." என்று கூறுகின்றார். அதாவது நமக்கு தேவனது பதில் கிடைக்கும்படி அவருக்கு ஒன்றை நாம் கொடுக்கமுடியாது. ஏனெனில் இந்த உலகத்திலுள்ள அனைத்தும் அவராலும் அவர் மூலமாகவும் அவருக்காகவும் உண்டாகியுள்ளன.

நாம் ஒன்றை தேவனிடமிருந்து பெறுவது அவரது சுத்தக் கிருபையால்தானே தவிர அவருக்குக் காணிக்கைக் கொடுப்பதாலல்ல. இப்படிச் சொல்வதால் காணிக்கைக்  கொடுக்கவேண்டாம் என்று பொருளல்ல, காணிக்கையை நாம் மனப்பூர்வமாக, தேவனிடமுள்ள அன்பின் நிமித்தமாகக் கொடுக்கவேண்டுமே தவிர அவரிடமிருந்து எதையாவது பெற்றுக்கொள்ளவேண்டும் எனும் குறுகிய வியாபார நோக்கில் கொடுக்கக்கூடாது. ஏனெனில் அவர் நாம் கொடுத்து நிறைவடையும் நிலையில் உள்ள அற்பமானவரல்ல.  சகலமும் அவராலும் அவர் மூலமாயும் அவருக்காகவும் இருக்கிறது.

அப்போஸ்தலரான யாக்கோபு கூறுகின்றார், "நன்மையான எந்த ஈவும் பூரணமான எந்த வரமும் பரத்திலிருந்துண்டாகி, சோதிகளின் பிதாவினிடத்திலிருந்து இறங்கிவருகிறது; அவரிடத்தில் யாதொரு மாறுதலும் யாதொரு வேற்றுமையின் நிழலுமில்லை." ( யாக்கோபு 1 : 17 ) பிதாவாகிய தேவனிடமிருந்து தான் அனைத்து வரங்களும் இறங்கி வருகின்றன. அவரிடத்தில் அதிகம் காணிக்கைக்  கொடுத்தவன், குறைவாகக் கொடுத்தவன் என்ற வேற்றுமை இல்லை.  

தேவனது கிருபையினை வேண்டி மன்றாடவேண்டுமேதவிர, குருட்டு வழிகாட்டிகளான  போதகர்களது அறிவுரைக்கைக் கேட்டு  கிருபையினை இழந்து போய்விடக்கூடாது.

Not by Offering

AATHAVAN 🖋️ 672 ⛪ Wednesday, November 30, 2022

"Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things to whom be glory for ever. Amen." ( Romans 11 : 35,36 ) 

In this world, people do not hesitate to indulge in any crooked ways to get help to meet their needs. If they want any privilege or certificate from the Government departments, they try to get it by paying bribes. This narrow mindedness of men continues even with God. One reason for this is the preaching of Christian pastors and the so called evangelists of these days  who guide people.

They teach people that if they want to get some blessing from God, they have to give something to him. They preach, "If you give offering  of a thousand rupees, God will return it in ten thousand; if you give two thousand, you will get back twenty thousand".  Todays popular Christian ministers have made the love of God cease in people by their foolish teaching that, God will bless us depending on the amount we give.

Jesus Christ did not consider the offering of the rich who gave more, but the two pennies of the poor widow. What the Lord Jesus Christ said about that offering is something we should always remember. "For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living." ( Mark 12 : 44 ) Jesus said. Also, the widow did not give an offering because she wanted a double blessing; She gave it in love and with the desire to give to the Lord.

The apostle Paul looked at people who give offering with the intention of receiving rich blessings and says, "who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things..." That means we cannot get blessings from God by giving him money. For all things in this world were made by Him and through Him and for Him.

We receive something from God only by His sheer grace and not by giving Him an offering. By this you should not misunderstand that we should not give offerings, what I am saying is, we should give offerings consciously, out of love for God, but not with the worldly purpose of getting something from Him. Because He is not a beggar whose desires are to be fulfilled by us. All things in this world are by him and for him.

The apostle James says, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." ( James 1 : 17 ). All blessings come from God the Father. With Him there is no difference between those who give more and those who give less.

We should not lose grace by heeding to the advice of blind guides but should plead for God's grace.

கிறிஸ்துவைப்போல

 ஆதவன் 🖋️ 671 ⛪ நவம்பர் 29,  2022 செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை

"நீர்மாத்திரமல்ல, இன்று என் வசனத்தைக் கேட்கிற யாவரும், கொஞ்சங்குறையமாத்திரம் அல்ல, இந்தக் கட்டுகள் தவிர, முழுவதும் என்னைப்போலாகும்படி தேவனை வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 26 : 29 )

ரோமாபுரியில் நியாய விசாரணைக்குட்பட்டிருந்த அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் தனதுபக்க நியாயத்தை எடுத்துரைக்கும்போதும் கிறிஸ்துவின் சுவிசேஷத்தை அறிவித்தார். அவரது பேச்சு அகிரிப்பா ராஜாவையே கிறிஸ்துவின் மேல் விசுவாசம் வைக்கும்படி தூண்டக்கூடியதாக இருந்தது.  "அப்பொழுது அகிரிப்பா பவுலை நோக்கி: நான் கிறிஸ்தவனாகிறதற்குக் கொஞ்சங்குறைய நீ என்னைச் சம்மதிக்கப்பண்ணுகிறாய் என்றான்."( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 26 : 28 )

அவனுக்குப் பதில் மொழியாகத்தான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் இன்றைய வசனத்தைக் கூறுகின்றார். அதாவது தனது சுவிசேஷத்தைக் கேட்கும் எல்லோரும் தன்னைப்போல கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் விசுவாசம் கொண்டவர்களாக மாறவேண்டும் என்று பவுல் விரும்பினார். 

இதுவரை உலகினில் பிறந்த எவரும் கூறத்துணியாத; கூறமுடியாத வார்த்தைகளை அபோஸ்தலரான பவுல் கூறினார். ஆம், "நான் கிறிஸ்துவைப் பின்பற்றுகிறதுபோல, நீங்கள் என்னைப் பின்பற்றுகிறவர்களாயிருங்கள்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 11 : 1 ) என்றார்.

அன்பானவர்களே, இன்று நாம் இதுபோலக் கூற முடியாதுதான்.  ஆனால் அவர் கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் எவ்வளவு வைராக்கியமாக அன்பு கொண்டிருந்தார் என்பது அவரது வாழ்கையினைப் பார்த்தால் புரியும். அந்த அன்பு, அவரை கிறிஸ்துவுக்காக வாழவும், அவரைப் பிரதிபலிக்கவும் அவருக்காக மரிக்கவும் தூண்டியது. 

இன்று அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் அடிகளின் வாழ்க்கை நமக்கு முன்னுதாரணமாக உள்ளது. கிறிஸ்துவின் வாழ்க்கையைப்பற்றிக் கூறும்போது சிலர் அவரது மனிதத் தன்மையைப் புரிந்துகொள்ளாமல், "அவர் தேவ குமாரன், அவரைப்போல நாம் வாழ முடியாது என்று சாக்குப்போக்குக் கூறுவதுண்டு. அவர்களுக்குப்  பதில் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுலடிகளின் வாழ்க்கையும் அவரது பேச்சும். 

கிறிஸ்து தேவ குமாரன் எனவே அவரைப்போல வாழ முடியாது என்பவர்கள்,  "நான் கிறிஸ்துவைப் பின்பற்றுகிறதுபோல, நீங்கள் என்னைப் பின்பற்றுகிறவர்களாயிருங்கள்." எனும் பவுல் அடிகளின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டு அவரைப் பின்பற்றலாமல்லவா?

பல புனிதர்களும் மனிதர்களாக இந்த பூமியில் வாழ்ந்தவர்கள்தான். ஆனால் பரிசுத்த வாழ்க்கை வாழத் தங்களை அர்ப்பணித்தவர்கள். சாதாரண உலக மனிதர்கள்கூட, எப்போதுமே "நமது இலக்கு மேலானதாக இருக்கவேண்டும்" என பிறருக்கு அறிவுரை கூறுவார்கள். அப்படியிருக்க,   ஆவிக்குரிய நமக்கோ அந்த இலக்கு எல்லாவற்றையும்விட மேலானதாக இருக்கவேண்டியது எவ்வளவு முக்கியம்!!!

நமது பந்தயப் பொருளான கிறிஸ்துவைநோக்கி நாம் ஓடவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  அப்படி ஓடிட பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் துணையும் வழிகாட்டுதலும் நமக்கு அவசியம். நமது இலக்கு கிறிஸ்துவைப்போலவும் குறைந்தபட்சம் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் அடிகளைப்போலவும் மாறுவதாக  இருக்கட்டும். அப்படி நம்மை மாற்றி வாழ்ந்திட முயலுவோம்; ஜெபிப்போம். கர்த்தர்தாமே நமது ஆசை நிறைவேறிட உதவிடுவார்.

Christ like

"And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds." ( Acts 26 : 29 )

Paul, the apostle who was on trial in Rome, proclaimed the gospel of Christ even while presenting his case. His speech was able to persuade King Agrippa himself to put his faith in Christ. "Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian." ( Acts 26 : 28 )

The apostle Paul speaks today's verse as an answer to him. That is, Paul wanted everyone who heard his gospel to become believers in Christ like him.

So far no one born in the world have the courage or quality to speak such words as the apostle Paul. Yes, "Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ." ( 1 Corinthians 11 : 1 ) he said.

Beloved, may not say like Paul today. But how much zealous love he had for Christ can be understood by looking at his life. That love moved him to live for Christ, to imitate Him, and to die for Him.

Today, the life of the Apostle Paul is an example for us. When talking about the life of Christ, some people do not understand his human nature and say, "He is the Son of God, and we cannot live like him. The answer to them is the life and speech of the apostle Paul.

Those who say that Christ is the Son of God and therefore cannot live like Him, can't they have faith on Paul's words "Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ." and follow him? Many saints have lived on this earth just like us as human beings. But they have dedicated themselves to live a holy life and lived.

Even ordinary worldly people always advise others to "aim higher". How important, then, for us as Christians to have that goal above all else!!!

We must run toward our goal, Christ. We need the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit to run like that. Let our goal be to become like Christ or at least like the Apostle Paul. Let's try to change ourselves and live like that; Let's pray. Lord himself will help us to fulfill our desire.

உள்ளான மனிதன்

 ஆதவன் 🖋️ 670 ⛪ நவம்பர் 28,  2022 திங்கள்கிழமை

"நீங்கள் அவருடைய ஆவியினாலே உள்ளான மனுஷனில் வல்லமையாய்ப் பலப்படவும்...." ( எபேசியர் 3 : 16 )

நாம் ஒவ்வொருவரும் இரண்டு மனிதர்களாக உள்ளோம். வெளிப்பார்வைக்கு உலகுக்குத் தெரிவது ஒரு மனிதன்; வெளியுலகுக்குத் தெரியாத இன்னொரு மனிதன் ஒவ்வொரு மனிதர்க்குள்ளும்  மறைமுகமாக இருக்கின்றான். பெரும்பாலான மனிதர்களும்  இரண்டு மனிதர்க்குள்ளும் முரண்பாடு கொண்டவர்களாகவே வாழ்கின்றனர்.

உள்ளான மனிதன் ஆவிக்குரியவன். இன்று உள்ளொன்று வைத்து புறமொன்று பேசும் மனிதர்களே உலகினில் அதிகம். உள்ளான மனிதனில் நாம் எப்படி இருக்கின்றோமோ அப்படியே நம்மை வெளிக்காட்ட முடியுமானால் நாம் பலப்பட்டவர்கள் என்று அர்த்தம். ஆனால், பெரும்பாலும் உள்ளான மனிதன் பொறாமை, காய்மகாரம், பண ஆசை, பாலியல்  அவலட்சணமான எண்ணங்கள், கொண்டவனாகவே இருக்கின்றான். எனவே இவைகளை பலரும் மறைத்து தங்களை நல்லவர்களாக வெளிகாட்டிக்கொண்டு உலகினில் நடமாடுகின்றனர். 

உள்ளான மனிதனே ஆவிக்குரிய மனிதன். நாம் உள்ளான மனிதனில் பலப்படவேண்டியது அவசியம். உலக மனிதர்கள் உள்ளான விஷயங்களில் மோசமானவைகளாக இருந்தாலும்  கிறிஸ்துவின் ஆவி உள்ளான மனிதனில் வரும்போது அவர்களை வித்தியாசமானவர்களாக  மாற்றுகின்றார். அவர்கள் ஆவிக்குரியவர்களாக மாறுகின்றனர். அதன்பின்னரே அவர்களது சிந்தனை ஆவிக்குரிய சிந்தனையாக மாறுகின்றது. 

ஆனால், ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வு வாழ முயலும் மனிதர்களது நிலைமை பவுலைப்போல சில சிரமங்களுக்குளாக்குகின்றதாக இருக்கின்றது. அவர்கள் உள்ளான மனிதனில் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடைய வாழ்க்கை வாழ விரும்புபவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர். ஆனால் வெளியுலக சூழ்நிலை உள்ளான மனிதனுக்கேற்ற அத்தகைய ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கை வாழத் தடைகளைக் கொண்டுவருகின்றது. எனவேதான் பவுல் கூறுகின்றார், "உள்ளான மனுஷனுக்கேற்றபடி தேவனுடைய நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின்மேல் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறேன்." ( ரோமர் 7 : 22 ) என்று. ஆனால் வெளி உலக சூழ்நிலைகள் பரிசுத்த வாழ்க்கை வாழத் தடையாக பெரிய சவாலாக இருக்கின்றன.

இப்படி இருப்பதால், "நாங்கள் சோர்ந்துபோகிறதில்லை; எங்கள் புறம்பான மனுஷனானது அழிந்தும், உள்ளான மனுஷனானது நாளுக்குநாள் புதிதாக்கப்படுகிறது." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 4 : 16 ). அதாவது, பரிசுத்தனாக வாழ விரும்புவதால், வெளியான மனிதன் நலிவுற்று அழிவதுபோலத் தெரிந்தாலும் உள்ளான மனிதனில் நாளுக்குநாள் புத்துணர்வும், புது உருவாக்குதலும் நடக்கின்றது. இன்றைய வசனத்தில், எபேசு சபை விசுவாசிகள் அனைவரும் அவருடைய ஆவியினாலே உள்ளான மனுஷனில் வல்லமையாய்ப் பலப்பட பிதாவை நோக்கி ஜெபிப்பதாக பவுல் கூறுகின்றார்.  

பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் துணை இல்லாமல் நாம் உள்ளான மனிதனில் வல்லமைப்பட்டு வெளியான மனிதனை மேற்கொள்ள முடியாது.

அன்பானவர்களே, விசுவாசிகளது உலகத் தேவைகளுக்கே முன்னுரிமைகொடுத்து ஜெபிக்கும் இன்றைய ஊழியர்களைப்போல அல்லாமல், பவுல் தனது சபை விசுவாசிகள் இந்த மேலான வாழ்க்கை நிலையை அடைந்திட ஜெபிக்கின்றார். 

இன்று நமக்கு இத்தகைய ஊழியர்கள் வெகு சிலரே இருப்பதால், நாமே நமக்காக ஜெபிக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். நமது உள்ளான மனிதன் நாளுக்குநாள் புதிதாக்கப்பட ஜெபிக்கும்போது நமது வாழ்க்கை முரண்பாடில்லாத வாழ்க்கையாக மாறும். உள்ளான மனிதனும் நமது வெளி மனிதனும் ஒன்றுபோல மாறும்போதுதான்  நாம் உலகிற்கு மெய்யானச் சாட்சிகளாக மாறமுடியும்.

Inner Man

"......be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man" ( Ephesians 3 : 16 )

Each of us are really two persons. A man is visible to the world; Another man, unknown to the outside world, lies hidden within every man. That is, the inner man. Most people live in conflict between the two.

The inner man is spiritual man. Today people are behaving differently contrary to expression of their mouth. That is they are acting contrary to their inner man. If we could express ourselves as we are in the inner man, it means that we are strong. But, most of the time, the inner man is jealous, lustful, greedy for money, sexually abusive thoughts etc. So many people hide these and show themselves as good people and walk in the world.

The inner man is the spiritual man. It is necessary to strengthen our inner man. Although the worldly men are bad inwardly, when the Spirit of Christ comes into the inward man, he makes it different. Only then only the inner man become spiritual; Only then does ones thoughts become spiritual.

However, the situation of people trying to live a spiritual life has difficulties as Paul says. The circumstances one live affect the desire to live according to God in the inner man. Yes, world brings obstacles to live such a spiritual life. That is why Paul says, "For I delight in the law of God after the inward man" ( Romans 7 : 22 ). But the circumstances of the outer world are a great challenge to living a holy life.

Because of this Paul writes, "For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day." ( 2 Corinthians 4 : 16 ) That is, because we want to live holy, even though the outer man looks like it is decaying and perishing, the inner man is being refreshed and renewed day by day. In today's verse, Paul says that he is praying for all the believers in the church of Ephesus to be strengthened with power in the inner man.

Without the help of the Holy Spirit we cannot be strengthened in the inner man and become the new man.

Beloved, Paul prays for his church believers to reach this higher state of life, unlike the servants of today who give priority to the worldly needs of the believers.

Since we have very few such Christian pastors today, it is necessary for us to pray for ourselves. When we pray for our inner man to be renewed daily, our life becomes a life without conflict. Only when our inner man and our outer man become one can we become true witnesses to the world.

Holy Spirit and Witness Life

"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." ( Acts 1 : 8 )

The reason God gives us the Holy Spirit is not to scream and shout, or to say "lapa lapa". The Holy Spirit is given to us so that we may be strengthened and live as witnesses for Christ.

In today's verse, Jerusalem refers to where we are, ie our town or home, Judea refers to the areas around us, and Samaria refers to other ethnic groups. That is, our witnessing life should be reflected in our home, town, neighboring towns and people of other races and finally reflected in the whole world. This is why the Holy Spirit comes on us.

Well, how does the Holy Spirit qualify us? Jesus Christ said, "And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment."( John 16 : 8 ). That is, presence of Holy Spirit in a person is revealed by his sinless life and his righteous deeds. His condemnation of eternal judgment qualifies one to live righteously.

And Jesus Christ said, "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come." ( John 16 : 13 )

Beloved, the demonstrations of many ministers who claim to have received the gifts of the Holy Spirit are not scriptural. These are tricks they use to make people believe that they are powerful and for collecting more tributes.

He who receives the Holy Spirit will be humble. He will be full of the fruits of the Spirit. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." ( Galatians 5 : 22, 23 )

Beloved, when we pray with real earnestness and desire to live a life of witness to God, we receive the help of the Spirit of power. Otherwise, if we pray for the Holy Spirit to become like famous Christian ministers who are protesting, we will be alienated from Christ.

Lord, God will be gracious to our prayers when we pray for Holy Spirit to help us to be strong in our spiritual life and to live a life of witness to God. True anointing helps us live a life of witness to Christ.

பரிசுத்தஆவியானவரும் சாட்சி வாழ்க்கையும்

 ஆதவன் 🖋️ 669 ⛪ நவம்பர் 27,  2022 ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை

"பரிசுத்த ஆவி உங்களிடத்தில் வரும்போது நீங்கள் பெலனடைந்து, எருசலேமிலும், யூதேயா முழுவதிலும், சமாரியாவிலும், பூமியின் கடைசிப்பரியந்தமும், எனக்குச் சாட்சிகளாயிருப்பீர்கள்". ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 1 : 8 )

பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரை தேவன் நமக்கு அருளுவதற்குக் காரணம் அலறி கூச்சலிடுவதற்கோ, "லாப லாபா" என்று உளறுவதற்கோ அல்ல.  நாம் பெலனடைந்து கிறிஸ்துவுக்குச் சாட்சியாக வாழவே பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் நமக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். 

இன்றைய வசனத்தில் எருசலேம் என்பது நாம் இருக்குமிடத்தை அதாவது நமது ஊர் அல்லது வீட்டைக் குறிக்கின்றது, யூதேயா என்பது நாம்மைச் சுற்றியுள்ள பகுதிகள், சமாரியா என்பது பிற இன மக்களைக்குறிக்கின்றது. அதாவது நமது சாட்சியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை நமது வீட்டிலும், ஊரிலும், பக்கத்து ஊர்களிலும், பிறஇன  மக்களிடமும்  விளங்கி இந்த உலகம் முழுவதிலும் பிரதிபலிக்கவேண்டும். இதற்காகவே பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் நம்மிடம் வருகின்றார். 

சரி, எப்படி பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் நம்மைத் தகுதிப்படுத்துகின்றார்? "அவர் வந்து, பாவத்தைக்குறித்தும், நீதியைக்குறித்தும், நியாயத்தீர்ப்பைக்குறித்தும், உலகத்தைக் கண்டித்து உணர்த்துவார்."( யோவான் 16 : 8 ) என்று கூறினார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. அதாவது ஒருவரிடம் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் இருப்பது பாவமற்ற அவரது வாழ்க்கை, அவரது நீதிச் செயல்கள் மூலம் தெரியவரும். நித்திய நியாயத் தீர்பைக் குறித்து அவர் கண்டித்து உணர்த்துவதால் நீதியாக வாழ ஒருவரைத் தகுதிப்படுத்தும். 

மேலும் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறினார், "சத்திய ஆவியாகிய அவர் வரும்போது, சகல சத்தியத்திற்குள்ளும் உங்களை நடத்துவார்; அவர் தம்முடைய சுயமாய்ப் பேசாமல், தாம் கேள்விப்பட்டவைகள் யாவையுஞ்சொல்லி, வரப்போகிற காரியங்களை உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பார்."( யோவான் 16 : 13 )

அன்பானவர்களே, பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் வரங்களைப் பெற்றுளேன் என்று கூறிக்கொள்ளும் பல ஊழியர்கள் செய்யும் ஆர்ப்பாட்டங்கள் வேதத்துக்கு ஏற்புடையதையல்ல. தங்களை வல்லமையுள்ளவர்கள் என்று மக்கள் நம்பவேண்டும் என்பதற்காகவும், அதிக காணிக்கைகள் வசூலிக்கவும் அவர்கள் செய்யும் தந்திரங்களே இவை.

பரிசுத்த ஆவியைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டவன் தாழ்ச்சியுள்ளவனாக இருப்பான்.  ஆவியின் கனிகள் நிறைந்தவனாக இருப்பான்.  "ஆவியின் கனியோ, அன்பு, சந்தோஷம், சமாதானம், நீடியபொறுமை, தயவு, நற்குணம், விசுவாசம், சாந்தம், இச்சையடக்கம்; இப்படிப்பட்டவைகளுக்கு விரோதமான பிரமாணம் ஒன்றுமில்லை."( கலாத்தியர் 5 : 22, 23 )

அன்பானவர்களே, உண்மையான ஆர்வத்துடன், தேவனுக்குச் சாட்சியான வாழ்க்கை வாழவேண்டும் எனும் ஆசையுடன் ஜெபிக்கும்போது நமக்கு வல்லமையின் ஆவியானவரின் துணை கிடைக்கும். அப்படியில்லாமல் ஆர்ப்பாட்டம் செய்யும் பிரபல ஊழியர்களைப் பார்த்து அவர்களைப்போல வரவேண்டுமென்று நாம் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரை வாஞ்த்தோமானால் கிறிஸ்துவைவிட்டு அந்நியப்பட்டுப் போய்விடுவோம். 

ஆண்டவரே நான் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் பெலனடையவும் உமக்குச் சாட்சியான வாழ்க்கை வாழவும் எனக்கு உதவிட உமது பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரைத் தந்து என்னை வழிநடத்தும் என்று வேண்டுதல் செய்யும்போது நமது வேண்டுதலின்மேல் தேவன் பிரியுமுள்ளவராக இருப்பார். 

மெய்யான அபிஷேகம், நம்மைக் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குச் சாட்சியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ உதவிடும்.

திரு விருந்து

 ஆதவன் 🖋️ 668 ⛪ நவம்பர் 26,  2022 சனிக்கிழமை

"எந்த மனுஷனும் தன்னைத்தானே சோதித்தறிந்து, இந்த அப்பத்தில் புசித்து, இந்தப் பாத்திரத்தில் பானம்பண்ணக்கடவன்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 11 : 28 )

கிறிஸ்துவின் உடலையும் இரத்தத்தையும் அவர் வருமளவும் உட்கொண்டு அவரது மரணத்தையும் உயிர்ப்பையும்  அறிக்கையிடுவது கிறிஸ்தவர்களுக்கு இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கொடுத்தக் கட்டளை. "என்னை நினைவு கூரும்படி இதைச் செய்யுங்கள்" (லூக்கா 22:19) என்று கூறினார்.  இப்படிச் செய்வது கிறிஸ்து நமக்காகத் தனது உடலையும் இரத்தத்தையும் பலியாகக் கொடுத்தார் என்பதை விசுவாசித்து ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு அறிக்கையிடுவதாகும். 

ஆனால், இது வெறும் சடங்குபோன்றதல்ல. கிறிஸ்துவின் உடலையும் இரத்தத்தையும் நாம் உட்கொள்வது மெய்யாகவே கிறிஸ்துவோடு நாம் பங்குள்ளவர்கள் என்று அறிக்கையிடுவதாகும்.  

எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "எந்த மனுஷனும் தன்னைத்தான் சோதித்தறிந்து இந்த ஆப்பத்தில் புசித்து, இந்தப் பாத்திரத்தில் பானம்பண்ணக்கடவன்" என்று கூறுகின்றார். ஆம், கிறிஸ்துவின் உடலையும் இரத்தத்தையும் உட்கொள்ள நமக்குத் தகுதி இருக்கின்றதா என்று சோதித்து அறிந்து உட்கொள்ளவேண்டும்.  

இப்படிக் கூறும் பவுல் அடிகள், தவறுதலாக அல்லது தகுத்தியில்லாமல் நாம் கிறிஸ்துவின் உடலையும் இரத்தத்தையும் உட்கொள்வது நம் உடலையும் பாதிக்கும் என்கின்றார். அதாவது தகுதியில்லாமல் உட்கொள்வது நோய்  ஏற்படக்கூடவும் மரணம் ஏற்படவும் ஏதுவாகலாம் என்கின்றார். "இதினிமித்தம், உங்களில் அநேகர் பலவீனரும் வியாதியுள்ளவர்களுமாயிருக்கிறார்கள்; அநேகர் நித்திரையும் அடைந்திருக்கிறார்கள்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 11 : 30 )

அன்பானவர்களே, கிறிஸ்துவின் மரணத்தையும் உயிர்ப்பையும் நாம் நற்கருணை உண்ணும்போது அறிக்கையிட்டாலும் தகுதியான உள்ளத்துடனும் பரிசுத்தத்துடனும் அதனை நாம் உண்ணுவது தேவையாயிருக்கின்றது.

நான் முன்பு ஆராதனைக்குச் செல்லும் சபைப் போதகர் அப்பமும் ரசமும் கொடுக்குமுன் அனைவருக்கும் தெளிவான விரிவான விளக்கம் கொடுப்பார். அவர் அப்படி விளக்கமளித்தபின்னர் பார்த்தால் பாதிக்குமேற்பட்டவர்கள் அடுத்த முறை எடுத்துக்கொள்ளலாம் என்று திரும்பிவிடுவார்கள். இதுபற்றி ஒருமுறை தனியே அந்த பாஸ்டரிடம் பேசியபோது கூறினார், "கிறிஸ்துவின் உடலையும் இரத்தத்தையும் உட்கொள்வது விளையாட்டல்ல, வருகின்றவர்கள் அனைவர்க்கும் போதிய விளக்கம் அளிக்காமல் நான் கொடுத்தேனானால் நானும் தேவனுக்குப் பதில்சொல்லியாகவேண்டும்." 

அன்பானவர்களே, இதுவரை தெரியாமல் நாம்  நம்மை ஆராயாமல் கிறிஸ்துவின் உடலையும் இரத்தத்தையும் உட்கொண்டிருந்தால் அவரிடம் மன்னிப்பு வேண்டுவோம். இனி நம்மை நாமே நிதானித்து அறிந்து, நமது மனச்சாட்சி நம்மைக் குற்றமில்லாமல் தீர்த்தால் மட்டுமே உட்கொள்வோம்.

Holy Communion

"But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup." ( 1 Corinthians 11 : 28 )

Todays verse speak about holy communion. Christians are commanded by Jesus Christ to partake of Christ's body and blood as a faith to proclaim his death and resurrection. He said, "Do this in remembrance of me" (Luke 22:19). To do this is to believe and accept and confess that Christ gave His body and blood as a sacrifice for us.

But, it is not just a ritual. Our partaking of Christ's body and blood is truly a declaration that we are partakers of Christ.

That is why the apostle Paul says, "let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup".  Yes, we should test and know whether we are worthy to partake of Christ's body and blood.

Paul is saying that the blows, if we partake of Christ's body and blood, wrongly or unworthily, will affect our body as well. In other words, improper communion can lead to illness and even death. "For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep." ( 1 Corinthians 11 : 30 )

Beloved, although we confess the death and resurrection of Christ when we partake of the Eucharist, it is necessary that we partake of it with a worthy spirit and holiness.

The pastor of the church where I used to go to worship would give a clear and detailed explanation to everyone before giving the communion. After hearing the explanation, almost half of the people would return thinking that they can take it next time. When I asked the pastor about this, he said, "It is not a play thing to partake the body and blood of Christ. If I gave it to all those who came without giving an adequate explanation, I must also be accountable to God."

Beloved, let us ask Him for forgiveness if we have unknowingly participated in communion earlier days without examining ourselves. Henceforth we shall know ourselves soberly, and participate in holy communion only if our conscience clears us without guilt.

Fragrance of Christ

"Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place." ( 2 Corinthians 2 : 14 )

Once I read a book of witness by a woman named Bilquis who lived at the middle of the last century in Pakistan. She belongs to Islamic faith. Her husband held a cabinet position in the Government of Pakistan. This woman knew nothing about Jesus or Christianity. But she came to know Jesus through a servant girl who worked in his house. God guided this woman through dreams.

Before she could read the Bible properly, she had a dream one day. In the dream, a person dressed in white cloth came to her house to sell scent. Bilguis asked him about the aromatic ointments and the man took a particular bottle and gave it to Bilguis and asked her to use it regularly. When she opened the bottle, a wonderful aroma spread and filled her whole house. The man said,  "keep this" and left.

Bilguis did not understand the meaning of this dream. Yes, she don't understand anything about it. That evening she studied the scriptures. She had to study the Bible secretly because it was an Islamic country and her husband an Islamic. While reading like that, her eyes sopped at the verse we are  meditating today. "thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place." When she read the words, she understood the meaning of the dream. "I jumped with joy without control" she wrote.

"For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish" ( 2 Corinthians 2 : 15 )

Beloved, Christ desires to make us triumphant in Christ always, and to spread through us everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. That is, He wants the fragrance of Christ spread throughout the world through a life of witness.

In them that are saved, and in them that perish we are Christ's praise to God. He wants the depraved to know Him. Because he wants everyone to repent so that no one will be perished. Corrupted people are also likely to be converted by witnessing the lives of others in Christ.

Let us spread the fragrance of Christ in the world by our witness life.

கிறிஸ்துவின் நறுமணம்

 ஆதவன் 🖋️ 667 ⛪ நவம்பர் 25,  2022 வெள்ளிக்கிழமை

"கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் எப்பொழுதும் எங்களை வெற்றிசிறக்கப்பண்ணி, எல்லா இடங்களிலேயும் எங்களைக் கொண்டு அவரை அறிகிற அறிவின் வாசனையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிற தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம்."( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 2 : 14 )

பாகிஸ்தான் நாட்டில் சென்ற நூற்றாண்டின் மத்தியகாலத்தில் வாழ்ந்தவர் பில்குய்ஸ் எனும் பெண்மணி பற்றி அவர்களது புத்தகத்தில் படித்தேன். அவர் இஸ்லாமிய மதத்தைச் சார்ந்தவர். அவரது கணவர் பாகிஸ்தான் அரசாங்கத்தில் அமைச்சரவையில்  பதவி வகித்தவர். இந்தப் பெண்மணிக்கு இயேசுவைக் குறித்தோ கிறிஸ்தவ மார்க்கத்தைக் குறித்தோ ஏதும் தெரியாது. ஆனால் அவரது வீட்டில் வேலைசெய்த வேலைக்காரப் பெண்மணிமூலாம் இயேசுவை அறிந்துகொண்டார். அவரை தேவன் கனவு மூலமே வழிநடத்தினார். 

வேதாகமத்தை அவர்  சரியாக படித்து அறியுமுன்னமே ஒருநாள் ஒரு கனவு கண்டார். அந்தக் கனவில் வெண் ஆடை அணிந்த ஒருநபர் நறுமணத் தைலங்கள் ( Scent ) விற்பனை செய்ய அவரது வீட்டிற்கு வந்தார். பில்குய்ஸ் அவரிடம் அந்த நறுமணத் தைலங்களைக்குறித்து விசாரிக்கவே அவர் குறிப்பிட்ட ஒரு தைலத்தை எடுத்து பில்குய்ஸ் கையில் கொடுத்து நுகர்ந்து பார்க்கச் சொன்னார். அந்தத் தைல பாட்டிலைத் திறந்ததும் மிகச் சிறந்த நறுமணம் பரவி அவர் வீடு முழுவதும் நிரப்பிற்று. இதை வைத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள் என்று கூறி அவர் சென்றுவிட்டார்.

பில்குய்ஸ் அவர்களுக்கு இந்தக் கனவின் பொருள் விளங்கவில்லை. இதுபற்றி ஒன்றும் புரியவில்லை. அன்று மாலை அவர் வேதாகமத்தைப் படிக்கமுயன்றார். இஸ்லாமிய நாடு, இஸ்லாமிய கணவன் என்பதால் மறைத்து மறைத்துதான் வேதாகமத்தை அவர் படிக்கவேண்டியிருந்தது.  அப்படிப் படிக்கும்போது அவர் கண்ணில் பட்டது இன்றைய நமது தியானத்துக்குரிய வசனம். "எல்லா இடங்களிலேயும் எங்களைக் கொண்டு அவரை அறிகிற அறிவின் வாசனையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிற தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம்." எனும் வார்த்தைகளை வாசித்தபோது அவருக்குக் கனவின் பொருள் புரிந்தது. "நான் என்னை அறியாமல் துள்ளிக் குதித்துவிட்டேன்" என்று எழுதியுள்ளார் அவர். 

"இரட்சிக்கப்படுகிறவர்களுக்குள்ளேயும், கெட்டுப் போகிறவர்களுக்குள்ளேயும், நாங்கள் தேவனுக்குக் கிறிஸ்துவின் நற்கந்தமாயிருக்கிறோம்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 2 : 15 ) என்று தொடர்ந்து எழுதுகின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல். 

அன்பானவர்களே, கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் எப்பொழுதும் நம்மை வெற்றிசிறக்கப்பண்ணி, எல்லா இடங்களிலேயும் நம்மைக்கொண்டு அவரை அறிகிற அறிவின் வாசனையை வெளிப்படுத்த கிறிஸ்து விரும்புகின்றார். அதாவது சாட்சியுள்ள ஒரு வாழ்க்கைமூலம் கிறிஸ்துவின் நறுமணம் உலகில் பரவிடவேண்டுமென்று அவர் விரும்புகின்றார். 

"இரட்சிக்கப்படுகிறவர்களுக்குள்ளேயும், கெட்டுப் போகிறவர்களுக்குள்ளேயும், நாங்கள் தேவனுக்குக் கிறிஸ்துவின் நற்கந்தமாயிருக்கிறோம்." என்று கூறியுள்ளபடி கெட்டுப்போகிறவர்களும் அவரை அறிந்திடவேண்டுமென்று அவர் விரும்புகின்றார். காரணம், ஒருவரும் கெட்டுப்போகாமல் எல்லோரும் மனம் திரும்பிடவேண்டுமென்று அவர் விரும்புகின்றார். கெட்டுப்போகிறவர்களும் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் மற்றவர்கள் வாழும் சாட்சி வாழ்க்கையைப் பார்த்து மனம் திரும்பிட வாய்ப்புண்டு.

நமது சாட்சி வாழ்வால் கிறிஸ்துவின் நறுமணம் உலகினில் பரவிடச் செய்வோம்.

தேவ வல்லமை

 ஆதவன் 🖋️ 666 ⛪ நவம்பர் 24,  2022 வியாழக்கிழமை

"மனுஷரால் கூடாதவைகள் தேவனால் கூடும்". ( லுூக்கா 18 : 27 )

நாம் மனித அறிவினால் எல்லாவற்றையும் சிந்திக்கின்றோம். ஏனெனில் நாம் வாழும் சூழ்நிலை நம்மை அப்படிதான் சிந்திக்கத் தூண்டும். எனவேதான் நம் பல வேளைகளில் பிரச்னைகளைப் பார்த்துப்  பயந்து திகைக்கின்றோம். இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறும் இன்றைய வார்த்தைகள் நமக்கு கர்த்தர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையை ஏற்படுத்தும். ஆம், தேவன் காலம், நேரம் இவைகளுக்கு அப்பாற்பட்டவர். அவரால் எல்லாம் கூடும்.

இயேசு செய்த அற்புதங்களில் மிகப்பெரிய அற்புதம், மரித்து, கல்லறையில் அடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்ட லாசரை நான்கு நாட்களுக்குப்பின்  உயிர்ப்பித்தது. ஒருவர் மரித்து இரண்டாம் நாளே அந்த உடலிலிருந்து துர் நாற்றம் வந்துவிடும். நான்காம் நாளில் சதைகள் அழுகிவிடும். ஆனால், அந்த அழுகிய உடலை தனது வார்த்தையால் எழும்பச் செய்தார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. ஆம், மனிதனால் கூடாதவைகள் தேவனால் கூடும்.   

நித்திய ஜீவனைக்குறித்தும் பரலோக ராஜ்யத்தில் பிரவேசிப்பதைக் குறித்தும் பேசும்போது இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "ஐசுவரியவான் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் பிரவேசிப்பதைப்பார்க்கிலும், ஒட்டகமானது ஊசியின் காதிலே நுழைவது எளிதாயிருக்கும் என்றார்." ( லுூக்கா 18 : 25 ) அதாவது செல்வந்தர்கள் பரலோக ராஜ்யத்தில் பிரவேசிக்க முடியாது என்பது இதன் பொருள். 

ஆனால், இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறிய வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டு மக்கள் அவரிடம் , "ஆண்டவரே, அப்படியானால் யார்தான் இரட்சிக்கப்படக்கூடும்?"  என்றார்கள். அவர்களுக்கு மறுமொழியாகத்தான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இன்றைய வசனத்தைக் கூறினார். அதாவது மனிதர்களால் இது முடியாததுபோலத் தெரியலாம் ஆனால் மரித்த லாசரை உயிர்பித்ததுபோல தேவனால் இது முடியும்.  

ஆனால், இதற்கு ஒரு நிபந்தனையை இயேசு கூறுகின்றார்.  "எவனாகிலும் சிறு பிள்ளையைப்போல் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாவிட்டால், அதில் பிரவேசிக்கமாட்டான் என்று மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார்". ( லுூக்கா 18 : 17 ) அதாவது, ஒருவன் மனம் திரும்பி சிறு பிள்ளையைப் போன்ற மன நிலையினை அடைவானென்றால் அவன் பரலோக ராஜ்யத்தில் பிரவேசிக்க முடியும். 

தேவனை ஏற்றுக் கொண்டவர்களெல்லாம் பிச்சைக்காரர்களல்ல. ஆபிரகாம் மிகப்பெரிய செல்வந்தன். தாவீது மிகப்பெரிய ராஜா.  எசேக்கியா ஒரு ராஜா. இதுபோல புதிய ஏற்பாட்டிலும் இயேசுவின் மறைமுக சீடனாயிருந்த அரிமத்தியா ஊர் யோசேப்பு ஒரு செல்வந்தன்.  மேலும் இயேசு உலகினில் இருந்தபோது பல  செல்வந்த பெண்கள் அவரோடு இருந்து ஊழியத்துக்கு உதவினார்கள் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. குறிப்பாக, ஏரோது ராஜாவின் செயலாளரான கூசாவின் மனைவியும் அவர்களுள் ஒருத்தி.   "ஏரோதின் காரியக்காரனான கூசாவின் மனைவியாகிய யோவன்னாளும், சூசன்னாளும், தங்கள் ஆஸ்திகளால் அவருக்கு ஊழியஞ்செய்துகொண்டுவந்த மற்ற அநேகம் ஸ்திரீகளும் அவருடனே இருந்தார்கள்." ( லுூக்கா 8 : 3 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம்.

பரலோக ராஜ்யத்தில் நுழைய பணம் ஒரு அளவுகோலல்ல. ஏழையாக இருந்து அவருக்கு ஏற்பில்லாத செயல்களில் ஈடுபட்டு ஒருவர் நரகத்துக்கு நேராகச் செல்லலாம். அதுபோல செல்வமுள்ள ஒருவர் தேவ நோக்கமறிந்து அவருக்கு ஏற்புடைய வாழ்க்கை  வாழ்ந்து பரலோக ராஜ்யத்தைச் சேரலாம்.  

மேலும் இன்றைய வசனம் உலகப் பிரச்சனைகளை எண்ணிக் கலங்கி நிற்பவர்களுக்கும் ஆறுதல் அளிக்கும் வசனமாகும். நம்மை அழுத்தும் பிரச்சனைகளிலிருந்து தப்பிக்க வழியே இல்லாததுபோலத் தெரியலாம் ஆனால் நாம் கலங்கிடத் தேவையில்லை. நமது விசுவாசத்தை உறுதிப்படுத்த இன்றைய வசனம்  உதவிடும். 

இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் பார்வோனுக்குத் தப்பிவிட வழியே இல்லாத சூழ்நிலையில்  செங்கடலைப் பிளந்து வழியுண்டாக்கி அவர்களை    தேவன் காப்பாற்றவில்லையா?  எனவே பிரச்சனைகள், துன்பங்கள் இவைகளை எண்ணிக் கலங்கவேண்டாம். பிரச்சனைகளுக்கு ஊடாக தேவன் இருக்கின்றார் என்பதை விசுவாசியுங்கள். தேவன் நமக்கு விடுதலை தருவார்.  ஆம், மனுஷரால் கூடாதவை தேவனால் கூடும்.

Power of God

"The things which are impossible with men are possible with God." ( Luke 18 : 27 )

We think everything with human knowledge. Because the situation we live in makes us think like that. That is why many times we are afraid and bewildered by problems. Today's words of Jesus Christ will make us believe in God. Yes, God is beyond time and space. He can do everything.

The greatest miracle that Jesus performed was the resurrection of Lazarus four days after he had been dead and buried in the tomb. On the second day after a person dies, a bad smell comes from the body. On the fourth day the flesh rots. But Jesus Christ resurrected that rotten body with his word. Yes, God can do what is impossible for man.

When speaking of eternal life and entering the kingdom of heaven, Jesus Christ said, "For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." ( Luke 18 : 25 ) This means that the rich cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.

But the people heard the words of Jesus Christ and asked him, "Lord, then who can be saved?". It was in response to them that Jesus Christ said today's verse. That is, it may seem like it is impossible for humans but God can do it as He raised Lazarus from the dead.

But, Jesus states a condition for this. "Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein." ( Luke 18 : 17 ) That is, if one repents and attains the state of mind of a little child, he can enter the kingdom of heaven.

All those who accepted God are not beggars. Abraham was very rich. David was the greatest king. Hezekiah was a king. Similarly, in the New Testament, Joseph of Arimathea, who was a hidden disciple of Jesus, was a rich man. And it is said that when Jesus was in the world, many rich women helped him in the ministry. In particular, the wife of Chuza, King Herod's secretary, was one of them. "And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance." ( Luke 8 : 3 ) we read.

Money is not a criterion to enter the kingdom of God. A poor can go straight to hell by engaging in activities that are not acceptable to God. Similarly, a rich person can live a life that is acceptable to God and join the kingdom of heaven.

And today's verse is a verse that gives comfort to those who are worried about the problems of the world. There may seem to be no escape from the problems that press upon us, but we need not panic. Today's verse will help to confirm our faith.

Didn't God save the Israelites by parting the Red Sea when there was no way to escape from Pharaoh ? So don't worry about problems and sufferings. Believe and see God through trouble. God will set us free. Yes, things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
