🍒Meditation verse - 2 பேதுரு 1: 21 / 2 Peter 1:21

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,525

'ஆதவன்' 💚ஏப்ரல் 10, 2025. 💚வியாழக்கிழமை 

"தீர்க்கதரிசனமானது ஒருகாலத்திலும் மனுஷருடைய சித்தத்தினாலே உண்டாகவில்லை; தேவனுடைய பரிசுத்த மனுஷர்கள் பரிசுத்த ஆவியினாலே ஏவப்பட்டுப் பேசினார்கள்." (2 பேதுரு 1: 21)

தீர்க்கத்தரிசனம் சொல்வது என்பது ஆவியின் வாரங்களில் ஒன்று (1 கொரிந்தியர் 12:10)  இந்த வரத்தைத் தேவன் ஏன் கொடுக்கின்றார் என்றால் பாவத்தில் மடிந்துபோகின்ற ஆத்துமாக்களுக்கு பாவ உணர்வைக்கொடுத்து அவர்கள் மனம்திரும்புவதற்கு. மேலும், நாட்டில் ஏற்படப்போகும் பெரிய இடர்களை முன்கூட்டியே மக்களுக்கு உணர்த்தி அவர்களை எச்சரித்துத்  தப்புவிப்பதற்காக.  தாவீதுக்கு நாத்தான் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் கூறியது அவர் தனது பாவத்தை உணர்ந்து மனம்திரும்புவதற்காக. 

ஆதியாகமத்தில் பாரவோன் கண்ட கனவுக்கு பொருளாக யோசேப்பு வரப்போகின்ற பஞ்சகாலத்தைத்  தீர்க்கதரிசனமாக அறிந்துக்  கூறியது தேசத்தை அழிவிலிருந்து மீட்பதற்காக. மட்டுமல்ல, தீர்க்கதரிசனம் கூறிய யோசேப்பின் எதிர்கால உயர்வுக்கும் இது காரணமாக இருந்தது. ஆனால் தேவனால் மேலான நோக்கத்துக்காக வெளிப்படுத்தப்படும் இரகசியங்கள் பிற்காலங்களில் ஊழியர்களது பொருளாசையினை நிறைவேற்றும் கருவியாக மாறிப்போனது. எனவே அவர்கள் பொய்யான தரிசனங்களைக்கூறி மக்களை ஏமாற்றித் தாங்கள் செழிப்பாக வாழ வகைசெய்து கொண்டார்கள். 

இது இப்போது நடக்கும் தவறல்ல,  இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் காலத்துக்கு முன் ஏறக்குறைய 700 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னேயே இது நடந்துள்ளது.  இதனையே எரேமியா மூலம் தேவன், "உங்களுக்குத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லுகிற தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேளாதிருங்கள்; அவர்கள் உங்களை வீண்பெருமை கொள்ளும்படி செய்கிறார்கள்; கர்த்தருடைய வாக்கை அல்ல, தாங்கள் யூகித்த தரிசனத்தைச் சொல்லுகிறார்கள்" என்று கூறுகின்றார். நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும்கூட, "கள்ளத் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளுக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள்; அவர்கள் ஆட்டுத்தோலைப் போர்த்துக்கொண்டு உங்களிடத்தில் வருவார்கள்; உள்ளத்திலோ அவர்கள் பட்சிக்கிற ஓநாய்கள்." ( மத்தேயு 7: 15) என்று எச்சரித்தார்.

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் தேவனோடு நெருங்கிய உறவோடு வாழ்வோமென்றால் தேவன் நமக்கு நம்மைக்குறித்து வெளிப்படுத்தல்களைத் தருவார். அதற்காக நாம் ஊழியக்காரர்களைத் தேடி ஓடவேண்டிய அவசியமில்லை. அவர்கள் பொய்யையே கூறி நம்மை ஏமாற்றுவார்கள். ஊழியனைத்தேடி வரும் எல்லோருக்கும் தேவன் எப்போதும் ஆசீர்வாதத்தையே தீர்க்கதரிசனமாகக் கூறிக்கொண்டிருக்கமாட்டார். பலவேளைகளில் நமது ஆசீர்வாதத்துக்கு நமது பாவமான செயல்களே காரணமாக இருக்கும். உண்மையான தீர்க்கத்தரிசி அதனை உணர்த்தவேண்டும். மாறாக, "உங்களுக்குச் சமாதானம், கர்த்தர் உங்களை ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறார்" என்று கூறிக்கொண்டிருக்கக்கூடாது.  

தங்கள் இருதயத்தின் கடினத்தில் தொடர்ந்து நடக்கும் மக்களுக்கும் கள்ளத் தீர்க்கத்தரிசியானவன், "உங்களுக்குச் சமாதானம் இருக்கும்" என்றுதான் கூறுவான். இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின் அடுத்த வசனமாக நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம்:-   "அவர்கள் என்னை அசட்டைபண்ணுகிறவர்களை நோக்கி: உங்களுக்குச் சமாதானம் இருக்குமென்று கர்த்தர் சொன்னாரென்று சொல்லுகிறதுமல்லாமல்; தங்கள் இருதயத்தின் கடினத்திலே நடக்கிற யாவரையும் நோக்கி: உங்கள்மேல் பொல்லாப்பு வராதென்றும் சொல்லுகிறார்கள்." ( எரேமியா 23: 17) எனவே, உங்களுக்குத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லுகிற தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேளாதிருங்கள் என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். 

ஆனால் இப்போதும் உண்மையான தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் இருக்கின்றார்கள். என்னை ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் ஆரம்பகாலத்தில் வழிநடத்திய பாஸ்டர் ஜான்சன் டேவிட் அவர்கள் இதற்கு ஒரு  உதாரணம். நான் செய்யும் சிறு தவறையும்கூடத் தனது  தீர்க்கத்தரிசன வரத்தால் அறிந்து என்னை எச்சரித்திருக்கின்றார்.  ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இதுபோன்ற கர்த்தருக்கேற்ற தீர்க்கத்தரிசிகள் இப்போதும் உண்டு. இத்தகைய தீர்க்கதரிசிகளைக்குறித்தே அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு, "தீர்க்கதரிசனமானது ஒருகாலத்திலும் மனுஷருடைய சித்தத்தினாலே உண்டாகவில்லை; தேவனுடைய பரிசுத்த மனுஷர்கள் பரிசுத்த ஆவியினாலே ஏவப்பட்டுப் பேசினார்கள்." (2 பேதுரு 1: 21) என்று கூறுகின்றார்.

ஆனால் நாம் குறிகேட்பதுபோல தீர்க்கத்தரிசிகளைச் சாராமல் கர்த்தரையே நம்பி அவரையே சார்ந்து வாழ தேவன் வலியுறுத்துகின்றார். அவருக்கு உண்மையாக நாம் வாழ்வோமானால், அவரே நமக்குத் தேவையான வெளிப்படுத்தல்களைத் தந்து நம்மை வழிநடத்துவார். போலிகள் பல இருப்பதால்  "உங்களுக்குத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லுகிற தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேளாதிருங்கள் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்." தேவ உறவை வளர்த்துக்கொள்வோம். அவரே நம்மை வழிநடத்தட்டும்.

AATHAVAN - April 10, 2025 | Thursday

"For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." — 2 Peter 1:21 (KJV)

Prophecy is one of the gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:10). God grants this gift to bring conviction of sin to souls that are perishing in sin, so that they may repent. Moreover, He uses it to warn people in advance about great disasters that may befall the nation, so they can be alerted and saved.

The prophet Nathan gave a prophetic word to David so that he would realize his sin and repent.

In Genesis, Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dream, revealing the coming years of famine as a prophecy—this was to save the nation from destruction. Furthermore, that same prophetic interpretation led to Joseph's own elevation in the future.

However, over time, the sacred secrets revealed by God for divine purposes began to be misused to fulfil the greedy ambitions of false ministers. These individuals started declaring false prophecies to deceive the people and live in luxury themselves.

This is not a new phenomenon. Even before the time of Jesus Christ—approximately 700 years earlier—this was happening. Through Jeremiah, God declared: "Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord."
— Jeremiah 23:16 (KJV)

Even our Lord Jesus Christ warned: "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." — Matthew 7:15 (KJV)

Yes, beloved, if we live in close fellowship with God, He will reveal things concerning our lives directly to us. There is no need to run after ministers for this. Many of them will only mislead us with falsehoods. God does not always declare blessings as prophecy to everyone who goes seeking a word. Oftentimes, it is our own sinful actions that stand in the way of blessings. A true prophet will reveal that. Instead of continually saying, “Peace be unto you,” and “The Lord will bless you,” they must expose the truth.

False prophets always say "peace" to those who continue in the hardness of their hearts. The very next verse from today’s meditation confirms this: "They say still unto them that despise me, The Lord hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you." — Jeremiah 23:17 (KJV)

Therefore, the Lord Himself says:

“Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you.”

Yet, even today, true prophets of God still exist. One such example is Pastor Johnson David, who guided me in the early stages of my spiritual life. He would know, even the smallest mistakes I made, through the prophetic gift, and warn me accordingly. Yes, dear ones, such godly prophets still exist today.

About such genuine prophets, Apostle Peter declared: "For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."— 2 Peter 1:21 (KJV)

However, rather than depending on prophets for direction, God urges us to trust and rely on Him directly. If we live faithfully before Him, He will give us the necessary revelations and guide us. Because many deceivers exist today, the Lord of Hosts has already said: "Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you."
— Jeremiah 23:16 (KJV)

Let us cultivate a deep relationship with the Lord, and may He Himself guide us.

🍒Meditation verse - நீதிமொழிகள் 3: 5, 6 / Proverbs 3:5-6

'ஆதவன்' 💚ஏப்ரல் 09, 2025. 💚புதன்கிழமை 

"உன் சுயபுத்தியின்மேல் சாயாமல், உன் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் கர்த்தரில் நம்பிக்கையாயிருந்து, உன் வழிகளிலெல்லாம் அவரை நினைத்துக்கொள்; அப்பொழுது அவர் உன் பாதைகளைச் செவ்வைப்படுத்துவார்." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 3: 5, 6)

மனிதர்கள் நமது அறிவு குறைவுள்ளது  (1 கொரிந்தியர் 13: 9). நாம்  தற்போது நமக்கு இருக்கும் சூழ்நிலையில் எதிர்காலத்தை நமது குறைவான அறிவால் கணித்து எந்தக் காரியங்களுக்கும் முடிவெடுக்கின்றோம்.  எனவே இப்படி முடிவெடுப்பது பெரும்பாலும் தவறான முடிவாகவே இருக்க வாய்ப்புள்ளது. இப்படி முடிவெடுப்பதையே சுய புத்தியில் சாய்தல் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. நீ இப்படி சுய புத்தியில் சாயாமல் உன் முழு இருதயத்தோடு கர்த்தரில் நம்பிக்கையாயிரு என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது.  

வாழ்க்கையில் நாம் முக்கியமான முடிவுகள் எடுக்கவேண்டிய காலகட்டங்கள் பல உண்டு. உதாரணமாக, நமது வேலை விஷயங்களில், நமது பிள்ளைகளின் திருமண காரியங்களில், அல்லது புதிதாக ஒரு நிலமோ வீடோ வாங்க முயலும்போது, நாம் சரியான முடிவுகள் எடுக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். நமது சுய தீர்மானங்களோ அல்லது நண்பர்களது அறிவுரையோ எப்போதும் சரியானதாக இருக்காது. இப்படிப்பட்டச் சூழ்நிலையில் நாம் கர்த்தரையே நம்பி இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியமாக இருக்கின்றது. 

எந்த நிலையிலும் நாம் கர்த்தர்மேல் முழு நம்பிக்கையையும் வைத்து வாழ்வோமானால் அவர் நம்மைக் கைவிடாமல் இருப்பார். வழிகளிலெல்லாம் அவரை நினைத்துக்கொள் என்று கூறுவது நாம் நடந்து செல்லும்போது என்ற பொருளிலல்ல, மாறாக நமது வாழ்க்கைப் பாதையில் என்று பொருள். கர்த்தரையே நம்பும் மனிதன் அவரையே வாழ்வில் நினைப்பவனாக இருப்பான். நாம் இப்படி வாழ்வதையே தேவன் விரும்புகின்றார். இதனையே மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்குப் பின்வருமாறு  கூறுகின்றார்:- 

"நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து, அவர் வழிகளிலெல்லாம் நடந்து, அவரிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்து, உன் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உன் முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரைச் சேவித்து, நான் இன்று உனக்குக் கற்பிக்கிற கர்த்தருடைய கற்பனைகளையும் அவருடைய கட்டளைகளையும் உனக்கு நன்மையுண்டாகும்படி கைக்கொள்ளவேண்டும் என்பதையே அல்லாமல், வேறே எதை உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னிடத்தில் கேட்கிறார்". ( உபாகமம் 10: 12, 13)

அதாவது, நமக்கு  நன்மையுண்டாகும்படி கர்த்தருடைய கற்பனைகளையும் அவருடைய கட்டளைகளையும் அன்றாடம்  நாம்  கைக்கொள்ளவேண்டும் என்றே தேவன் எதிர்பார்க்கின்றார்.  அப்படி நாம் வாழும்போது அவர் நமது  பாதைகளைச் செவ்வைப்படுத்துவார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் எந்த நிலையிலும் தேவனைச் சார்ந்தே வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். "கர்த்தரையே தன் நம்பிக்கையாக வைக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்." ( சங்கீதம் 40: 4) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளபடி நாம் பாக்கியவான்களாக வாழ முயற்சியெடுப்போம். 

இப்படி நாம் வாழும்போது நிறைவான கிறிஸ்துவின் ஆவியானவர்  நமக்குள் வந்து நம்மை வழிநடத்துவார். இப்படி, "நிறைவானது வரும்போது குறைவானது ஒழிந்துபோம்."(1 கொரிந்தியர் 13: 10) 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இப்படி ஜெபிப்போம்:- "நிறைவான இயேசுவே என்னில் வாரும், என்னை வழி நடத்தும். எனது வாழ்வை உமக்கே ஒப்படைக்கிறேன். உமது வழிகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு வாழ்வேன் என்று உறுதிகூறுகின்றேன். நான் அறிவில் குறைந்தவன்; ஞானமில்லாதவன். நீர் என்னில் வரும்போது மட்டுமே நான் எனது சுயபுத்தியில் சாராமல் எனது வாழ்வில் சரியான முடிவுகள் எடுக்க முடியும். எனவே உமது ஆவியானவரை அனுப்பும். அவரே என்னில் வந்து என்னை நேரிய பாதையில் வழிநடத்துவாராக.  ஆமென்.

Scripture Meditation - No: 1,524

AATHAVAN - April 09, 2025 – Wednesday

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6, KJV)

Human understanding is limited (1 Corinthians 13:9). With our finite knowledge, we try to predict the future based on our current circumstances and make decisions accordingly. However, such decisions often turn out to be incorrect. Relying on our own wisdom is what the Scripture calls "leaning on our own understanding." Today’s meditation verse instructs us not to do so but instead to trust the Lord wholeheartedly.

There are many crucial moments in life when we must make important decisions—regarding our careers, our children's marriages, or even purchasing land or a home. It is essential that we make the right choices. Our personal judgment or even the advice of friends may not always be reliable. In such situations, we must place our trust in the Lord.

If we live a life of complete trust in God, He will never forsake us. The phrase "In all thy ways acknowledge him" does not merely refer to our physical journey but to our entire life’s path. A person who trusts in the Lord will continually acknowledge Him in all things. This is what God desires from us. Moses emphasized this truth to the Israelites:

"And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?" (Deuteronomy 10:12-13, KJV)

God expects us to keep His commandments and statutes daily for our own good. When we live this way, He will direct our paths. Yes, beloved, we must always live in dependence on God. As the Psalmist declares:

"Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust." (Psalm 40:4, KJV)

Let us strive to live as blessed individuals. When we live this way, the fullness of Christ's Spirit will dwell within us and guide us. As the Scripture says:

"But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away." (1 Corinthians 13:10, KJV)

Yes, beloved, let us pray:

"O Perfect Jesus, come into me and lead me. I surrender my life to You. I commit to following Your ways. I lack knowledge and wisdom, but only when You dwell in me can I refrain from leaning on my own understanding and make the right decisions in life. Therefore, send Your Holy Spirit to guide me on the right path. Amen."

🍒Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 41: 13 / Isaiah 41:13

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,523  

'ஆதவன்' 💚ஏப்ரல் 08, 2025. 💚செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை

"உன் தேவனாயிருக்கிற கர்த்தராகிய நான் உன் வலதுகையைப் பிடித்து: பயப்படாதே, நான் உனக்குத் துணைநிற்கிறேன் என்று சொல்லுகிறேன்." ( ஏசாயா 41: 13)

நமது வாழ்வில் இயல்பாக நடக்கும் காரியங்களில் சிறிது மாறுபாடு வந்துவிட்டாலும் நமக்குள் பயம் வந்துவிடுகின்றது. பள்ளியில் பயிலும் மாணவனுக்கு சாதாரண நாட்களைவிட தேர்வுநாளைக் கண்டால் பயம் ஏற்படுகின்றது. நமது உடம்பின் சாதாரண  வெப்பநிலை 98.6°F (37°C). இது  சிறிய  அளவு அதிகரித்தாலும் நமக்கு உடல் சோர்வு ஏற்படுகின்றது; நமக்குள் பயம் வந்துவிடுகின்றது. நமக்குக் கடன் கொடுத்த மனிதனைக் கண்டால் பயம்;  விபத்துச் செய்திகளை வாசிக்கும்போது அல்லது நேரில் விபத்துக்களைப்  பார்க்கும்போது பயம்,  நமது எதிர்காலத்தையும் குழந்தைகளின் எதிர்காலத்தையும் எண்ணிப் பயப்படுகின்றோம். இப்படி மனித வாழ்வு பயத்துடனேயே தொடர்கின்றது. 

இப்படிப் பயத்துடனேயே வாழ்வைத் தொடரும் நம்மைப்பார்த்துக் கர்த்தர், "உன் தேவனாயிருக்கிற கர்த்தராகிய நான் உன் வலதுகையைப் பிடித்து: பயப்படாதே, நான் உனக்குத் துணைநிற்கிறேன் என்று சொல்லுகிறேன்." என்கின்றார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது கரத்தை தேவன் பற்றிக்கொள்ள அனுமதிப்போமானால் பயம் நம்மைவிட்டு அகலும். 

வேதாகமத்தில், பழைய மற்றும் புதிய ஏற்பாடுகளில் "பயப்படாதே" எனும் வார்த்தை பல இடங்களில் நமக்கு ஆறுதலாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும், "பயப்படாதிருங்கள்; அநேகம் அடைக்கலான் குருவிகளைப்பார்க்கிலும் நீங்கள் விசேஷித்தவர்களாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்." ( மத்தேயு 10: 31) என்று குருவிகளைக் காண்பித்து நம்மைத் தைரியப்படுத்தினார். 

பயமானது சாத்தானின் வஞ்சனைக் குணம். தோல்விகள் மற்றும் பிரச்னைகளின்போது சாத்தான், "இனி உனக்கு வாழ்வே இல்லை; எனவே செத்துப்போய்விடு என்று நமக்குள் தற்கொலை உணர்வைத் தூண்டுகின்றான். பயம் சாத்தானின் ஆயுதம்.  ஆம், "அவன் ஆதிமுதற்கொண்டு மனுஷகொலைபாதகனாயிருக்கிறான்; சத்தியம் அவனிடத்திலில்லாதபடியால் அவன் சத்தியத்திலே நிலைநிற்கவில்லை; அவன் பொய்யனும் பொய்க்குப் பிதாவுமாயிருக்கிறபடியால் அவன் பொய்பேசும்போது தன் சொந்தத்தில் எடுத்துப் பேசுகிறான்". (யோவான் 8:44)

ஆனால், தேவன் நமக்கு நல்ல ஒரு வாழ்வு உண்டு என்று நம்மைத் தைரியப்படுத்துகின்றார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, எனவே நாம் தேவனிடம் நெருங்கிய உறவை வளர்த்துக்கொள்ளும்போது நமது பயம் அகலுகின்றது; தேவ அன்பு நமக்குள் வரும்போது பயம் அகலுகின்றது. பயப்பட்டுக்கொண்டிருப்போமானால் நாம் தேவ அன்பில் பூரணமடையவில்லை என்று பொருள். "அன்பிலே பயமில்லை; பூரண அன்பு பயத்தைப் புறம்பே தள்ளும்; பயமானது வேதனையுள்ளது, பயப்படுகிறவன் அன்பில் பூரணப்பட்டவன் அல்ல."(1 யோவான்  4 : 18) என்று வேதம் கூறவில்லையா?

தேவனிடம் நாம் ஒப்புரவாகும்போது இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் கூறப்பட்டதுபோல தேவன் நம்மிடமும் கூறும் உறுதியான வார்த்தைகள் நமது இருதயத்தை நிரப்பும்.  "மனுஷகுமாரன் மனுஷருடைய ஜீவனை அழிக்கிறதற்கு அல்ல, இரட்சிக்கிறதற்கே வந்தார்" (லூக்கா 9:56) என்றார் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. எனவே, "உன் தேவனாயிருக்கிற கர்த்தராகிய நான் உன் வலதுகையைப் பிடித்து: பயப்படாதே, நான் உனக்குத் துணைநிற்கிறேன் என்று சொல்லுகிறேன்." ( ஏசாயா 41: 13) என்று மனம்திரும்பிய ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் தேவன் வாக்களிக்கின்றார். தேவனோடு ஒப்புரவாவோம்; அவரில் பூரண அன்புகொண்டு பயத்தைப் புறம்பே தள்ளுவோம். 

தேவன்மேல் அன்புகொண்டவர்களாக, மனிதர்களுக்கல்ல, தேவனுக்கு மட்டுமே பயந்து வாழும் வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வோம். அப்போது மட்டுமே நாம் பாவத்துக்கு விலகி வாழமுடியும். "ஆத்துமாவைக் கொல்ல வல்லவர்களாயிராமல், சரீரத்தை மாத்திரம் கொல்லுகிறவர்களுக்கு நீங்கள் பயப்படவேண்டாம்; ஆத்துமாவையும் சரீரத்தையும் நரகத்திலே அழிக்க வல்லவருக்கே பயப்படுங்கள்." ( மத்தேயு 10: 28) என்கிறார் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து.

AATHAVAN 💚 April 08, 2025. 💚 Tuesday

"For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee." (Isaiah 41:13, KJV)

Even a slight change in the routine events of our lives brings fear within us. A student who attends school regularly feels anxious on exam days. The normal body temperature of a human being is 98.6°F (37°C); if it slightly increases, we feel fatigued and afraid. Seeing a creditor makes us fearful. Reading or witnessing an accident brings fear. We also fear for our future and the future of our children. Thus, human life continues with fear.

Seeing us living in fear, the Lord says, "For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee." Yes, dear ones, if we allow God to hold our hand, fear will leave us.

In the Bible, both in the Old and New Testaments, the words "Fear not" are mentioned multiple times to comfort us. Our Lord Jesus Christ also assured us, saying, "Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows." (Matthew 10:31, KJV)

Fear is a deception of Satan. During failures and troubles, Satan whispers, "There is no life left for you; you should end your life," thereby instilling suicidal thoughts in us. Fear is Satan's weapon. "He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." (John 8:44, KJV)

But God assures us that He has a good life planned for us. Yes, dear ones, when we build a close relationship with God, our fears vanish. When God's love fills us, fear is cast away. If we remain in fear, it means we have not been perfected in God's love. "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." (1 John 4:18, KJV)

When we surrender to God, His reassuring words, as mentioned in today's meditation verse, will fill our hearts. "For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them." (Luke 9:56, KJV) Therefore, God promises every repentant soul, "For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee." (Isaiah 41:13, KJV) Let us surrender to God, abide in His perfect love, and cast out all fear.

Let us live a life of loving God and fearing only Him, not man. Only then can we live apart from sin. The Lord Jesus Christ says, "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." (Matthew 10:28, KJV).

'ஆதவன்' 💚ஏப்ரல் 07, 2025. 💚திங்கள்கிழமை

"கர்த்தர் எல்லா இருதயங்களையும் ஆராய்ந்து, நினைவுகளின் தோற்றங்களையெல்லாம் அறிகிறார்; நீ அவரைத் தேடினால் உனக்குத் தென்படுவார்; நீ அவரை விட்டுவிட்டால் அவர் உன்னை என்றைக்கும் கைவிடுவார்." (1 நாளாகமம் 28: 9)

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் வயது முதிர்ந்த தாவீது, தனது இடத்தில்  அடுத்து பட்டத்துக்குவரப்போகின்ற தனது மகன் சாலமோனுக்கு அறிவுரையாகக் கூறியது. தாவீதை தேவன் தனது இருதயத்துக்கு ஏற்றவனாகக் கண்டார். அவரது சங்கீதங்கள் இன்றும் நம்மை உயிர்ப்பூட்டுவனவாக உள்ளன. தேவனை முழுவதும் அனுப்புகூர்ந்து அவரையேச் சார்ந்துகொண்ட தாவீது தனது மகனையும் அப்படியே தேவனையே சார்ந்து வாழ அறிவுறுத்துகின்றார்.   

தாவீது கூறும் இந்த அறிவுரை நமக்கும் ஏற்புடையதாக இருக்கின்றது. நமது தேவன் இருதயத்தை ஊடுருவிப்பார்க்கின்றவர் என்கின்றார் அவர். நமது இருதயத்தின் நினைவுகள் அவருக்கு மறைவானவைகளல்ல  இதனையே நாம், "ஆனாலும் நீதிமானைச் சோதித்தறிந்து, உள்ளிந்திரியங்களையும் இருதயத்தையும் பார்க்கிற சேனைகளின் கர்த்தாவே," ( எரேமியா 20: 12) என்று எரேமியா புத்தகத்திலும் வாசிக்கின்றோம்.

மட்டுமல்ல, நமது வாயில் வார்த்தை பிறக்குமுன்னே அதனை தேவன் அறிகின்றார். "என் நாவில் சொல் பிறவாததற்கு முன்னே, இதோ, கர்த்தாவே, அதையெல்லாம் நீர் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்." ( சங்கீதம் 139: 4) என்று கூறுகின்றார் சங்கீதக்காரர். மட்டுமல்ல, "என் உட்காருதலையும் என் எழுந்திருக்குதலையும் நீர் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்; என் நினைவுகளைத் தூரத்திலிருந்து அறிகிறீர்." ( சங்கீதம் 139: 2) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் ஒரு செயலை ஏன் செய்கின்றோம், ஏன் செய்யாமலிருக்கிறோம் என்பதன் காரணம் மற்றவர்களுக்குத் தெரியாமலிருக்கலாம் அனால் தேவன் அவற்றையெல்லாம் அறிந்திருக்கின்றார். உள்ளொன்றுவைத்து வெளியொன்று பேசும் வஞ்சக  உள்ளத்தையும்  அவர் அறிவார். எனவே நாம் பேச்சிலும் செயலிலும் தேவனுக்கு அஞ்சி வாழவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது. 

மட்டுமல்ல, இன்றைய தியான வசனம் தேவனை நாம் தேடவேண்டுமென்று வலியுறுத்துகின்றது. முழு உள்ளத்தோடு தேடும்போதுதான் நாம் அவரைக் கண்டறியமுடியும். இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இதனையே, "தேடுகிற எவனும் கண்டடைகிறான்" (மத்தேயு 7:8) என்று கூறினார். நமது பெற்றோர்கள் கூறியதாலல்ல, எல்லோரும் சொல்கிறார்கள் என்பதாலல்ல; எல்லோரும் வழிபடுகிறார்கள் என்பதாலல்ல, நாம் தனிப்பட்ட முறையில் அவரை அறிந்து வழிபடவேண்டும். முதலில் முழு இருதயத்தோடு அவரைத் தேடவேண்டும். "உங்கள் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் என்னைத் தேடினீர்களானால், என்னைத் தேடுகையில் கண்டுபிடிப்பீர்கள்." ( எரேமியா 29: 13) என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். 

இறுதியாக இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது, நீ அவரை விட்டுவிட்டால் அவர் உன்னை என்றைக்கும் கைவிடுவார்" என்று. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவனை அறிந்தபின் நாம் அவரையே பற்றிக்கொண்டு ஆவியில் அனலுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். இல்லையானால் தேவனை விட்டு நாம் விலக்கப்படுவோம்.  "இப்படி நீ குளிருமின்றி அனலுமின்றி வெதுவெதுப்பாயிருக்கிறபடியினால் உன்னை என் வாயினின்று வாந்திபண்ணிப்போடுவேன்". (வெளிப்படுத்தின விஷேசம் 3:16) என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். 

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, தாவீது கூறுவதுபோல, கர்த்தர் எல்லா இருதயங்களையும் ஆராய்ந்து, நினைவுகளின் தோற்றங்களையெல்லாம் அறிகிறார் என்பதால் நமது இருதயத்தை நாம் தூய்மையாக வைத்துக்கொண்டு அவரை முழு இருதயத்தோடு தேடும்போது அவர் தன்னை நமக்கு வெளிப்படுத்துவார்.  உலக ஆசைகொண்டு தாறுமாறாக வாழ்வோமானால் அவர் நம்மை என்றைக்கும் கைவிட்டுவிடுவார்.

Scripture Meditation - No: 1,522 

AATHAVAN 💚 April 07, 2025. 💚 Monday

"The Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off forever." (1 Chronicles 28:9)

Today's meditation verse is an admonition from aged King David to his son Solomon, who was to succeed him on the throne. The Lord found David to be a man after His own heart. Even today, his Psalms continue to inspire and revive us. David, who wholeheartedly depended on God, instructs his son to do the same—to rely entirely on the Lord.

This counsel from David is also relevant to us. Our God searches the heart and knows its innermost thoughts. As the Scripture says, "But, O Lord of hosts, that triest the righteous, and seest the reins and the heart," (Jeremiah 20:12).

Not only that, but God knows every word even before it is spoken. The Psalmist declares, "For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether." (Psalm 139:4). Furthermore, "Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off." (Psalm 139:2).

Yes, dear ones, others may not know why we do certain things or refrain from doing them, but God knows all things. He also sees the deceitful heart that harbours one thing inside and speaks another outwardly. Therefore, it is essential for us to live in reverence to God in both word and deed.

Moreover, today's meditation verse emphasizes the need to seek God. Only when we seek Him with all our heart will we find Him. Jesus Christ Himself said, "For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth." (Matthew 7:8). We should seek Him not merely because our parents told us to, nor because others are doing it, nor just as a religious routine—but with a personal yearning to know and worship Him. First and foremost, we must seek Him with all our heart. As the Lord declares, "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13).

Finally, today's meditation verse warns, "If thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever." Yes, dear ones, once we have known God, we must hold on to Him and live a life fervent in the Spirit. Otherwise, we will be cast away from Him. As the Lord warns, "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth." (Revelation 3:16).

Therefore, beloved, as David said, since the Lord searches all hearts and understands the thoughts of the mind, let us keep our hearts pure and seek Him with all our hearts. When we do so, He will reveal Himself to us. But if we live recklessly, driven by worldly desires, He will forsake us forever.

Spirit, Soul, and Body – What is a Spiritual Life?

God created man as a being consisting of three parts – spirit, soul, and body. Among these, only the body is visible to our eyes. The body serves as an instrument to fulfil God's will on earth. In this world, God works through human bodies.

That is why the Bible says, "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?" (1 Corinthians 6:19, KJV).

The spirit is life. The soul is connected to a person’s inner mind. Thoughts, intelligence, desires, joy, and sorrow all belong to the soul. Today, many who have accepted Christ as God and Savior have done so at the soul level, that is, at the level of the mind.

Those who accept Christ at the soul level may engage in worship, religious activities, and various acts of devotion, believing themselves to be Christians. They may read the Bible, attend prayer meetings, donate money, and even become prominent ministers, but all these activities originate from the soul rather than the spirit.

Ministers who serve at the soul level may initiate various projects based on their own reasoning, such as specific prayer initiatives, fundraising strategies, and numerous ministry programs. However, a person’s works reveals whether they are spiritual or not. If a minister's plan contradicts the Bible, it is clear that the plan originates from the soul and not from the spirit.

This kind of soul-based Christian life is not what God desires. It is similar to how people of other religions believe in and worship their gods. Just as they read their religious texts, a soul-based Christian reads the Bible. Just as they serve their places of worship, a soul-based Christian also serves the church. Many churches and preachers who claim to be spiritual today are actually soul-based Christians.

God does not want us to be merely intellectual or ritualistic Christians. He does not desire us to be mere worshippers. Instead, He desires a life led by His Spirit. The Bible says, "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." (Romans 8:14, KJV).

A life led by the Spirit is different. It is entirely directed by God. Those led by the Spirit do not accumulate wealth for ministry or employ fundraising strategies. They only do what God commands. In the Bible, God’s servants were led by the Spirit. They did not know where they would go or what they would do the next day, but they walked according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The book of Acts is filled with examples of such Spirit-led lives. Peter had no personal ministry agenda, nor did Paul. They acted solely as the Holy Spirit led them.

Only those born of the Spirit can experience being led by the Spirit. Jesus said, "The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit." (John 3:8, KJV).

Spiritual Life and the Tabernacle

In the Old Testament, there were priests who ministered to God. But in the New Testament, every believer is a priest called to declare God's praises.

"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." (1 Peter 2:9, KJV).

If we examine the Old Testament tabernacle, we find it had two sections: the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place. "For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary. And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all." (Hebrews 9:2-3, KJV).

Priests entered the Holy Place daily, but only the High Priest entered the Most Holy Place once a year with blood.

Today, many ministers and believers who claim to be spiritual remain only in the Holy Place of spiritual life. They engage in worship, read the Bible, and perform religious activities, but they do not progress further. However, this is not enough. We need an experience beyond this, a life led by the Spirit.

The practices of many soul-based Christians are also seen in other religions. People of various faiths also worship, read their sacred texts, and serve their temples. If we remain at this level, what difference is there between us and them?

We must go beyond the first section of the tabernacle. The Bible says, "The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience." (Hebrews 9:8-9, KJV).

That is why Hebrews exhorts us to move beyond the foundation and press toward maturity. "Therefore, leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment." (Hebrews 6:1-2, KJV).

Jesus has now made the way for us to enter the Most Holy Place through His blood. "Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us." (Hebrews 9:12, KJV).

Only in the Most Holy Place do we receive divine guidance. In the Old Testament, God's voice was heard from the mercy seat in the Most Holy Place. "And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that was upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him." (Numbers 7:89, KJV).

Characteristics of a Spirit-Led Person

Reads the Bible not as a duty but with love for God.

Hears God's voice while reading the Scriptures.

Feels conviction when sinning and seeks reconciliation with God.

Always prays in the Spirit, even while working.

Cannot pray freely until reconciled with God after sinning.

Does not pray only for worldly needs but also seeks God's will.

Listens to God’s guidance in every aspect of life.

Loves others as Christ loved.

Has a thirst for holiness and Christlikeness.

Does not have religious bigotry or caste discrimination.

Recognizes Christ did not establish a religion but showed the way to eternal life.

Beloved, let us not remain mere soul-based Christians. Let us yield ourselves to God so He may lead us by His Spirit. It is in this Spirit-led life that true spiritual manifestations will be revealed in us. Today, the lack of this experience is why Christianity is viewed as just another religion. We must move beyond soul-based Christianity and become truly spiritual Christians. Amen.

🍒Meditation verse - வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 3: 8 / Revelation 3:8

'ஆதவன்' 💚ஏப்ரல் 06, 2025. 💚ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை

"உன் கிரியைகளை அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்; உனக்குக் கொஞ்சம் பெலன் இருந்தும், நீ என் நாமத்தை மறுதலியாமல், என் வசனத்தைக் கைக்கொண்டபடியினாலே, இதோ, திறந்தவாசலை உனக்கு முன்பாக வைத்திருக்கிறேன், அதை ஒருவனும் பூட்டமாட்டான்." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 3: 8)

வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷத்தில் தேவனின் ஏழு சபைகளுக்கு ஆவியானவர் சொல்லும் காரியங்கள் விளக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. அதில் பிலதெல்பியா சபையின் தூதனுக்குச் சொல்லப்பட்ட வார்த்தைகளே இன்றைய தியான வசனம். இந்த வார்த்தைகள் நாம் கடைபிடிக்கவேண்டிய ஒரு முக்கிய காரியத்தை நமக்கு விளக்குகின்றது.

அதாவது நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வு வாழும்போது நமக்கு ஏற்படும் துன்பங்கள், பிரச்சனைகள் இவைகளை மேற்கொள்ள நமக்குப் போதிய பெலன் இல்லாமலிருக்கலாம், அதனால் நாம் சோர்ந்துபோகலாம். ஆனாலும் நாம் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய ஓட்டத்தில் பின்வாங்காமல் தேவனை மறுதலிக்காமல் வாழவேண்டும் என்று உணர்த்துகின்றது. இதனையே இந்த வசனத்தில், "உனக்குக் கொஞ்சம் பெலன் இருந்தும், நீ என் நாமத்தை மறுதலியாமல், என் வசனத்தைக் கைக்கொண்டபடியினாலே" என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

சிலர் தங்கள் பிரச்சனைகள் தீர்ந்து விடுதலை கிடைத்திட சபை சபையாக ஓடுவார்கள். ஒரு பாஸ்டரை விட்டு இன்னொரு பாஸ்டர் என அலைவார்கள். இத்தகைய மனிதர்கள் உண்மையில் தேவனை அறியவில்லை; அவரை நம்பவில்லை என்பதே பொருள். தேவன்மேல் முழு விசுவாசம் நமக்கு இருக்குமானால் சபைகளோ பாஸ்டர்களோ இரண்டாம்பட்சமாகவே நமக்கு இருப்பார்கள். எந்தச் சூழ்நிலையிலும் நாம் தேவனுக்கே முன்னுரிமை கொடுத்து அவரையே சார்ந்து வாழ்கின்றவர்களாக இருப்போம்.  

அப்படி நாம் தேவனை மறுதலியாமல் அவரையே சார்ந்துகொண்டு வாழ்வதையே அவர் விரும்புகின்றார். அப்படி வாழும்போது நம்மேல் அவர் அதிக கவனமுள்ளவராக இருக்கின்றார்.  இன்றைய தியான வசனம் "உன் கிரியைகளை அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்; உனக்குக் கொஞ்சம் பெலன் இருந்தும்" என்று தொடங்குகின்றது. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவன் நம்மிடம் அதிகம் எதிர்பார்க்கவில்லை. நமக்கு கொஞ்சம் பெலனும் கொஞ்சம் விசுவாசமும் இருந்தாலே போதும். ஆனால் அவரை நமது வாழ்வாலும் வார்த்தையினாலும் அவரை  மறுதலியாமல் நாம் வாழ்ந்தால்போதும் என்கின்றார். 

"அவர் நெரிந்த நாணலை முறியாமலும், மங்கியெரிகிற திரியை அணையாமலும், நியாயத்தை உண்மையாக வெளிப்படுத்துவார்." ( ஏசாயா 42: 3) என்று வேதத்தில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. நாம் நெரிந்த நாணலாகவும் மங்கியெரியும் திரியாகவும் இருக்கலாம். ஆனால் அதனால் அவர் நம்மைத் தள்ளமாட்டார். மாறாக, நாம் எழுந்து பிரகாசமாக எரிந்திட உதவிடுவார். எனவேதான் அவர், "இதோ, திறந்தவாசலை உனக்கு முன்பாக வைத்திருக்கிறேன், அதை ஒருவனும் பூட்டமாட்டான்." என்கின்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானபவர்களே, நமக்குமுன் தேவன் திறந்த வாசலை  வைப்பேன் என்று உறுதிகூறுகின்றார். அதாவது தான் வைத்துள்ள ஆசீர்வாதத்தின் வாசலை ஒருவனும் பூட்டமாட்டான் என்கின்றார் தேவன்.  அதாவது, நாம் இப்படி நமது கொஞ்சம் பலத்துடன் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்ற வாழ்வு வாழ முயன்று செயல்படுவோமானால் நமக்குமுன் தேவன் வைத்துள்ள ஆசீர்வாதத்தினை எந்த சக்தியும் நமக்குக் கிடைக்காமல் தடுத்திட முடியாது. எனவே இருக்கின்ற கொஞ்சம் பெலத்துடன் அவரது நாமத்தை மறுதலியாமல், அவரது  வசனத்தைக் கைக்கொண்டபடி வாழ்வோம்.

"I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name." (Revelation 3:8, KJV)

The book of Revelation explains what the Spirit of God speaks to the seven churches. Today’s meditation verse is part of the message given to the angel of the church in Philadelphia. These words highlight an essential principle that we must follow in our spiritual lives.

Often, when we walk in faith, we may face difficulties and challenges that leave us feeling weak and discouraged. However, this verse reminds us that even if we have only a little strength, we should not turn back but continue steadfastly without denying the Lord. The scripture says, "for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name."

Some people, in search of solutions to their problems, run from one church to another, from one pastor to another. Such people do not truly know or trust God. If we have complete faith in the Lord, then churches and pastors will only play a secondary role in our lives. No matter the circumstances, we should always prioritize God and depend on Him alone.

This is exactly what God desires from us—to remain faithful to Him without denial. When we do so, He watches over us with great care. Today’s meditation verse begins with, "I know thy works: thou hast a little strength." Beloved, God does not expect much from us. He only asks for a little strength and a little faith. If we hold on to Him through our actions and words, that is sufficient.

The Bible says, "A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth." (Isaiah 42:3, KJV). We may feel like a bruised reed or a flickering wick, but the Lord will never cast us away. Instead, He will strengthen us and help us burn brightly once again. That is why He promises, "Behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it."

Yes, beloved, God assures us that He has placed an open door before us that no one can shut. This means that if we remain faithful to Him despite our little strength, no power can hinder the blessings that He has prepared for us. Therefore, let us hold fast to His Word and never deny His name, living a life that pleases Him.

🍒Meditation verse - 2 இராஜாக்கள் 6: 16 / 2 Kings 6:16

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,520  

'ஆதவன்' 💚ஏப்ரல் 05, 2025. 💚சனிக்கிழமை

"பயப்படாதே; அவர்களோடிருக்கிறவர்களைப் பார்க்கிலும் நம்மோடிருக்கிறவர்கள் அதிகம்." (2 இராஜாக்கள் 6: 16)

சீரியாவின் ராஜா இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு எதிராகப்  போர்ச்செய்யும்படி ஆலோசனை செய்து எந்த வழியாக இஸ்ரவேலுக்குள் செல்லலாம் என திட்டம் வகுக்கும்போதெல்லாம் எலிசா தீர்க்கதரிசி அதனைத் தனது தேவ வெளிப்படுத்துதல்மூலம் அறிந்து இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாவுக்கு முன்கூட்டியே அறிவித்துவிடுவார். எனவே சீரியாவின் ராஜாவால் இஸ்ரவேலரை  மேற்கொள்ள முடியவில்லை. இதனைத் தனது ஊழியர்கள்மூலம் அறிந்துகொண்ட சீரியாவின் ராஜா எலிசாவைப் பிடிக்க வகைதேடினான்.

எலிசா தோத்தானில் இருக்கிறார் என்பதை அறிந்துகொண்ட சிரியாவின் ராஜா அவரைப்பிடிக்கத்   தனது படைவீரர்களை  அனுப்பினான். அதிகாலமே எழுந்த எலிசாவின் வேலைக்காரன் அந்த மலை முழுவதும் இராணுவமும் குதிரைவீரர்களும் இரதங்களும்  நிற்பதைக்கண்டு பயந்து, "ஐயோ என் ஆண்டவனே! என்னச்செய்வோம்?" என்று அலறினான். தாங்கள் இருவரும் அழிந்துவிடுவோம் என்று அஞ்சினான் வேலைக்காரன். ஆனால் எலிசா தைரியமாக அவனிடம் கூறினார், "பயப்படாதே; அவர்களோடிருக்கிறவர்களைப் பார்க்கிலும் நம்மோடிருக்கிறவர்கள்  அதிகம்." 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாமும் எலிசாவின் வேலைக்காரனைப்போல பலவேளைகளில் நமது சூழ்நிலைகளைப் பார்த்துப் பயப்படுகின்றோம். "ஐயோ, இந்தப் பிரச்னை அல்லது இந்த நோய் என்னைத் தாக்கிவிட்டதே, நான் என்னசெய்வேன்? எவ்வளவு கொடிய நோய் இது !" என்று புலம்புகின்றோம்.  ஆனால் தேவன் சொல்கின்றார், "பயப்படாதே, உன் பிரச்சனையைவிட, உன் நோயைவிட உன்னோடு இருக்கும் நான் பெரியவராய் இருக்கிறேன். உன்னை நான் விடுவிப்பேன். 

ஆனால், தேவனது வல்லமையினை நாம் கண்டுணர எலிசாவின் வேலைக்காரனது கண்கள் திறக்கப்பட்டதுபோல நமது கண்களும் திறக்கப்படவேண்டியது அவசியம். ஆம், "அப்பொழுது எலிசா விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணி: கர்த்தாவே, இவன் பார்க்கும்படி இவன் கண்களைத் திறந்தருளும் என்றான்; உடனே கர்த்தர் அந்த வேலைக்காரன் கண்களைத் திறந்தார்; இதோ, எலிசாவைச்சுற்றிலும் அக்கினிமயமான குதிரைகளாலும் இரதங்களாலும் அந்த மலை நிறைந்திருக்கிறதை அவன் கண்டான்." (2 இராஜாக்கள் 6: 17)

தேவன் அக்கினிமயமான குதிரைகளாலும் இரதங்களாலும் எலிசாவைச் சுற்றிலும் இறங்கிப் பாதுகாத்ததுபோல நம்மையும் பாதுகாப்பார். "யூதாவின் வம்சத்தாருக்கோ நான் இரக்கஞ்செய்வேன்; வில்லினாலும், பட்டயத்தினாலும், யுத்தத்தினாலும், குதிரைகளினாலும், குதிரைவீரரினாலும் நான் அவர்களை இரட்சியாமல், அவர்களுடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தராலே அவர்களை இரட்சிப்பேன் என்றார்." ( ஓசியா 1: 7) தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நம்மில் இருக்கும் தேவன் அனைத்தையும்விடப் பெரியவர். "பிள்ளைகளே, நீங்கள் தேவனால் உண்டாயிருந்து, அவர்களை ஜெயித்தீர்கள்; ஏனெனில் உலகத்திலிருக்கிறவனிலும் உங்களிலிருக்கிறவர் பெரியவர்." (1 யோவான்  4 : 4) என்று நம்மை அறிவுறுத்துகின்றார்  அப்போஸ்தலராகிய யோவான். எனவே நாம் பயத்தைத் தள்ளி தேவன்மேலுள்ள விசுவாசத்தைப் பலப்படுத்துவோம்.  "பயப்படாதே; அவர்களோடிருக் கிறவர்களைப் பார்க்கிலும் நம்மோடிருக்கிறவர்கள் அதிகம்."

Scripture Meditation - No. 1,520 

AATHAVAN 💚 April 05, 2025 💚 Saturday 

"Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them." (2 Kings 6:16) 

The king of Syria devised plans to war against Israel and strategized routes to invade. However, every time he made such plans, the prophet Elisha, through divine revelation, informed the king of Israel in advance. As a result, the king of Syria could not succeed against Israel. Upon discovering that Elisha was the source of this divine intelligence, the king of Syria sought to capture him.

Learning that Elisha was in Dothan, the Syrian king sent his army, including horses and chariots, to seize him. Early in the morning, when Elisha’s servant woke up, he saw the army surrounding the mountain. Overcome with fear, he cried out, "Alas, my master! How shall we do?" Believing that they were doomed, he panicked. But Elisha reassured him with courage, saying, "Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them."

Dear beloved, like Elisha’s servant, we often look at our circumstances and become afraid. We cry out in despair, "Oh no! This problem or illness has struck me. What shall I do? This is such a terrible disease!" But God speaks to us today: "Fear not! I am greater than your problem and your sickness. I will deliver you."

However, just as Elisha’s servant needed his eyes opened to see God’s power, we too must have our spiritual eyes opened. The Scripture says, "And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha." (2 Kings 6:17)

Just as God sent fiery chariots and horses to protect Elisha, He will protect us as well. "But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the Lord their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen." (Hosea 1:7)

Yes, beloved, the God who is in us is greater than everything. The apostle John assures us: "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." (1 John 4:4) Therefore, let us cast out fear and strengthen our faith in God. "Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them."
