முன்னோர்களின் சாபங்கள் / ANCESTRAL CURSES

  'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,121     💚 மார்ச் 05, 2024 💚 செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை 💚

"இதோ, எல்லா ஆத்துமாக்களும் என்னுடையவைகள்; தகப்பனின் ஆத்துமா எப்படியோ, அப்படியே மகனின் ஆத்துமாவும் என்னுடையது; பாவஞ்செய்கிற ஆத்துமாவே சாகும்." ( எசேக்கியேல் 18 : 4 )

வேதாகமத்தின் சில வசனங்கள் பலரைக் குழப்பத்துக்கு உட்படுத்துகின்றன. வாழ்வில் தொடர்ந்து துன்பங்களே ஏற்படும்போது பலரும் குடும்ப சாபங்களே இதற்குக் காரணம் என்று எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். நமது முன்னோர்கள் செய்த பாவங்களால் நாமும் நமது குழந்தைகளும் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம் என்று பலரும் எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். ஒருமுறை வாழ்வில் மிகவும் துன்பப்பட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்த ஒரு சகோதரர்   என்னிடம், "பிரதர் எனது துன்பங்களுக்கு எனது தகப்பனாரும் எனது பாட்டனாரும் செய்த பாவங்கள்தான் காரணம்" என்று புலம்பினார்.

தொடர்ந்து அவர் என்னிடம், "ஆயிரம் தலைமுறைகளுக்கு இரக்கத்தைக் காக்கிறவர்; அக்கிரமத்தையும் மீறுதலையும் பாவத்தையும் மன்னிக்கிறவர்; குற்றவாளியைக் குற்றமற்றவனாக விடாமல், பிதாக்கள் செய்த அக்கிரமத்தைப் பிள்ளைகளிடத்திலும், பிள்ளைகளுடைய பிள்ளைகளிடத்திலும் மூன்றாம் நான்காம் தலைமுறைமட்டும் விசாரிக்கிறவர்." ( யாத்திராகமம் 34 : 7 ) என்று வேதாகமத்தில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது உண்மை என்று கூறி அழுதார். 

நான் அவரிடம் கூறினேன், 'அப்படியல்ல சகோதரரே, நாம் கிறிஸ்துவை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு மனம் திரும்பிய ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வோமானால் எந்தச் சாபமும் நம்மை மேற்கொள்ளாது. கிறிஸ்து இயேசு நமது பாவங்கள் சாபங்கள் அனைத்தையும் பரிகரித்துத்  தீர்த்துவிட்டார். அவரை இரட்சகராக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போது எந்த சாபங்களும் நம்மை மேற்கொள்ளாது,  இதனை நாம் பழைய ஏற்பாட்டிலும் வாசிக்கலாம்" என்றுகூறி அவருக்கு எசேக்கியேல் நூலிலுள்ள வசனத்தைக் காண்பித்தேன்.

"பாவஞ்செய்கிற ஆத்துமாவே சாகும்; குமாரன் தகப்பனுடைய அக்கிரமத்தைச் சுமப்பதுமில்லை, தகப்பன் குமாரனுடைய அக்கிரமத்தைச் சுமப்பதுமில்லை; நீதிமானுடைய நீதி அவன்மேல் தான் இருக்கும், துன்மார்க்கனுடைய துன்மார்க்கமும் அவன்மேல் தான் இருக்கும்." ( எசேக்கியேல் 18 : 20 )

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் கிறிஸ்துவுக்கேற்ற நீதியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது எந்த சாபமும் நம்மை மேற்கொள்ளாது. அவனவன் செய்யும் தவறுக்கு அவனவன் தண்டனை அனுபவிப்பான். "பிதாக்கள் திராட்சக்காய்களைத் தின்றார்கள், பிள்ளைகளின் பற்கள் கூசிப்போயின என்னும் பழமொழியை நீங்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்தைக்குறித்துச் சொல்லுகிறது என்ன? இனி இஸ்ரவேலில் இந்தப் பழமொழியைச் சொல்வது இல்லை என்பதை என் ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார்." ( எசேக்கியேல் 18 : 3 )

இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் சீடர்களுக்கும் இந்த எண்ணமே இருந்தது. எனவேதான் பிறவிக்குருடன் ஒருவனைக் கண்டபோது இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவிடம் அவர்கள் இதுகுறித்துக்  கேட்டனர். 

"அப்பொழுது அவருடைய சீஷர்கள் அவரை நோக்கி: ரபீ, இவன் குருடனாய்ப் பிறந்தது யார் செய்த பாவம், இவன் செய்த பாவமோ, இவனைப் பெற்றவர்கள் செய்த பாவமோ என்று கேட்டார்கள். இயேசு பிரதியுத்தரமாக: அது இவன் செய்த பாவமுமல்ல, இவனைப் பெற்றவர்கள் செய்த பாவமுமல்ல, தேவனுடைய கிரியைகள் இவனிடத்தில் வெளிப்படும்பொருட்டு இப்படிப் பிறந்தான் என்றார்." ( யோவான் 9 : 3 )

எனவே துன்பங்கள் வாழ்வில் தொடரும்போது நமது முன்னோர்கள்மீது பழி சுமத்தாமல் நம்மை நாம் சோதித்துப் பார்ப்போம். தேவனுடைய கிரியைகள் நம்மில் வெளிப்படும்பொருட்டு நமக்கு அவர் துன்பங்களை அனுமதித்திருக்கலாம். கிறிஸ்துவிடம் மன்னிப்புக்கேட்டு அவரது இரத்தத்தால் கழுவப்படும் இரட்சிப்பு அனுபவத்தைப் பெறும்போது எந்தச் சாபங்களும் நம்மை மேற்கொள்ள முடியாது. 

"பாவஞ்செய்கிற ஆத்துமாவே சாகும்." என்கிறார் பரிசுத்தரான கர்த்தர். தேவனுக்கேற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழ ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம்; முன்னோர்களின் பாவங்கள் சாபங்கள் எதுவும் நம்மைப் பாதிக்காது. 

"இதோ, எல்லா ஆத்துமாக்களும் என்னுடையவைகள்" என்கிறார் பரிசுத்தரான கர்த்தர்.

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,121 💚 March 05, 2024 💚 Tuesday 💚

"Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine; the soul that sinneth, it shall die." (Ezekiel 18:4)

Some verses of the Bible confuse many people. When there is constant suffering in life, many people think that it is due to family curses. Many people think that they and their children will be affected by the sins of their ancestors. Once a brother who was suffering a lot in his life lamented to me, "Brother, my sufferings are due to the sins of my father and grandfather."

He continued, and the Bible says, "Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation." (Exodus 34:7) He wept, saying that what is mentioned in the scriptures is true.

I said to him, 'No, brother, if we accept Christ and live a repentant life, no curse will overtake us. Christ Jesus has atoned for all our sins and curses. I showed him the verse from the book of Ezekiel saying, "When we accept Jesus as our saviour, no curses will overtake us; we can read this in the Old Testament."

"The soul that sinneth shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, nor shall the father bear the iniquity of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him." (Ezekiel 18:20)

Yes, beloved, no curse will overtake us when we live a righteous life, according to Christ. He who sins will be punished for his sins. "What mean ye that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge? As I live, saith the Lord God, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel." (Ezekiel 18:2, 3)

The disciples of Jesus Christ also had this thought. That is why they asked Jesus Christ about this when they saw a man blind by birth. We read this:

"And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned nor his parents, but that the works of God should be made manifest in him." (John 9:2, 3)

So when suffering continues in life, let us examine ourselves without blaming our ancestors. He may have allowed us to suffer so that God's works might be revealed in us. No curse can overtake us when we seek the forgiveness of Christ and experience the salvation of being washed by His blood.

"The soul that sinneth shall die." Says the Holy Lord. Let us commit to living a godly life. None of the sins and curses of our ancestors can affect us.

"Behold, all souls are mine," says the Holy Lord.

மாசில்லாத பக்தி / PURE DEVOTION

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,120     💚 மார்ச் 04, 2024 💚 திங்கள்கிழமை 💚

"திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளும் விதவைகளும் படுகிற உபத்திரவத்திலே அவர்களை விசாரிக்கிறதும், உலகத்தால் கறைபடாதபடிக்குத் தன்னைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறதுமே பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்குமுன்பாக மாசில்லாத சுத்தமான பக்தியாயிருக்கிறது." ( யாக்கோபு 1 : 27 )

தவக்காலத்தில் நாம் அதிகமாக தானதருமங்கள் செய்யவேண்டுமென்று போதிக்கப்பட்டதால் அப்படிப் பல தர்ம காரியங்களைச்  செய்யலாம். வெறுமனே தர்மம் செய்வதல்ல, அப்படித்  தர்மம் செய்யுமுன் நாம் நம்மைத் தேவனுக்குமுன் தூய்மையுள்ளவர்களாக மாற்றிக்கொள்ளவேண்டியது முதலாவதான அவசியம் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது.  

திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகள், விதவைகள் இவர்களுக்கு உதவுவதை தேவன் விரும்புகின்றார். காரணம், அவர்களுக்கென்று தேவனைத் தவிர உலகினில் வேறு எவரும் இல்லை. "தம்முடைய பரிசுத்த வாசஸ்தலத்திலிருக்கிற தேவன், திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளுக்குத் தகப்பனும், விதவைகளுக்கு நியாயம் விசாரிக்கிறவருமாயிருக்கிறார்." ( சங்கீதம் 68 : 5 ) என்று நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

ஆனால், அப்படி திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் விதவைகளுக்கும் உதவி செய்பவர்களை  தேவன் அவர்கள் செய்யும் உதவியின் அடிப்படையில் மட்டும் பார்ப்பதில்லை. மாறாக, அவர்களது தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்கையினையும் பார்க்கின்றார். இன்று இப்படி அநாதைப்  பிள்ளைகளுக்கு உதவும் நிறுவனங்கள் பல இருக்கின்றன. வெளிநாட்டு உதவிகளைப்பெற்று பலர் இப்படி உதவிகள் செய்கின்றனர். ஆனால் அப்படி உதவிசெய்பவர்களது உள்ளான மனநிலையினையும் வாழ்க்கையினையும் தேவன் பார்க்கின்றார். 

அதனையே இன்றைய வசனத்தில் யாக்கோபு கூறுகின்றார், "உலகத்தால் கறைபடாதபடிக்குத் தன்னைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறதுமே பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்குமுன்பாக மாசில்லாத சுத்தமான பக்தியாயிருக்கிறது." என்று. அதாவது, நாம் நல்லது செய்யுமுன் நாமே நல்லவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். அதிகமாக உதவிகள்  செய்பவர்களைக் கொடைவள்ளல் என இந்த உலகம் பாராட்டலாம். ஆனால் தேவன் அப்படிச் செய்பவரல்ல. நாம் இப்படி உதவி செய்யுமுன் நல்லவர்களாக, உலகப்  பாவக்  கறைகளற்றவர்களாக  இருக்கின்றோமா என்பதையும்  தேவன் பார்க்கின்றார்.  

நாம் பெரும்பாலும் மனிதப் பார்வையிலேயே அனைத்தையும் பார்க்கின்றோம். ஆனால், தேவன் நமது தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்க்கையைப் பொறுத்தே நாம் செய்யும் அனைத்தையும் பார்க்கின்றார். அதன் அடிப்படையிலேயே தீர்ப்பிடுகின்றார். "மனுஷன் உலகம் முழுவதையும் ஆதாயப்படுத்திக்கொண்டாலும், தன் ஜீவனை நஷ்டப்படுத்தினால் அவனுக்கு லாபம் என்ன? மனுஷன் தன் ஜீவனுக்கு ஈடாக என்னத்தைக் கொடுப்பான்?" ( மத்தேயு 16 : 26 ) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கேள்வி எழுப்பினார்.

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் நமது பணத்தால், திறமையால், அல்லது கருணைச் செயல்களால் இந்த உலக மக்களை ஆதாயப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளலாம். அவர்களது உள்ளங்களைக் கவர்ந்து கொள்ளலாம். ஆனால் தேவனை அப்படிக் கவர முடியாது. நமது தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்க்கை தேவன் அருவருக்கும்  அவலட்சணமானதாக இருக்குமானால் அதனால் பயனென்ன? 

எனவே, திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளும் விதவைகளும் படுகிற உபத்திரவத்திலே அவர்களை விசாரிக்கிறது நல்லதுதான் எனினும் நாம்  உலகத்தால் கறைபடாதபடிக்கு நம்மைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறதும் முக்கியம். அதுவே பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்குமுன்பாக மாசில்லாத சுத்தமான பக்தியாயிருக்கிறது.

தவக்காலத்தில் வெறுமனே தர்மம் செய்வதல்ல; மனம் திரும்பிய வாழ்க்கையோடுகூடிய தர்மச் செயல்களையே தேவன் விரும்புகின்றார். அதுவே அவர்முன் உண்மையான பக்தியாக இருக்கின்றது.

                    PURE DEVOTION

"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." (James 1 : 27 )

As we are taught to give more charity during lent, we may do many such charitable things. Today's meditation verse says that it is not just about doing charity, but before doing such charity, we must make ourselves pure before God.

God wants orphans and widows to be helped. Because for them there is no one else in the world except God. "A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation." (Psalms 68: 5) we read.

But God does not look at those who help poor children and widows based on their help. On the contrary, He also looks at their personal life. Today many organizations are doing charitable assistance by receiving foreign aids. Many people are also doing charity during lent days. But God sees not their charity but the inner life of those who help like that.

That's what James says in today's verse, "Keeping oneself undefiled by the world is pure godliness before God the Father." That is, before we do good, we must be good ourselves. The world may praise those who do more favours as charity. But God does not praise like that. God also sees whether we are good and free from worldly sins before helping this way.

We often see everything from a human perspective. But God also sees everything act of our personal lives. He judges based on that. "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" (Matthew 16: 26) Jesus Christ questioned.

Yes, dear ones, we can get appreciation from the people of this world for our money, talent, or acts of kindness. We can appeal their hearts. What good is it if our personal lives are unholy to God?  

Therefore, it is good to visit the fatherless and widows in their suffering, but it is also important to keep ourselves not being defiled by the world. That is pure devotion before God the Father.

Lent is not simply about giving charity; God loves righteous deeds with a repentant life. That is true devotion before Him.

பலத்தினால் அல்ல / NOT BY MIGHT

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,119       💚 மார்ச் 03, 2024 💚 ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை 💚

."....பலத்தினாலும் அல்ல, பராக்கிரமத்தினாலும் அல்ல,    என்னுடைய ஆவியினாலேயே ஆகும் என்று சேனைகளின்      கர்த்தர்   சொல்லுகிறார்." (  சகரியா 4 : 6 ) 

மனிதன் அற்பமான பிறவி. நமது உடல் கூட அற்பமானதுதான்.  இந்த அற்பமான உடலை வைத்துக்கொண்டு மனிதன் ஆட்டம் போடுகிறான்.  சராசரி மனிதனது  உடல் சூடு 98.6 டிகிரி F. இந்த உடல் சூடு 0.4 டிகிரி அதிகரித்து 99 டிகிரியாகிவிட்டால் நம்மால் எழுந்து நடமாட முடியாது. காய்ச்சல் என்று சோர்ந்து  படுத்துவிடுவோம். இவ்வளவுதான் நமது பலம். 

ஆனால் மனிதர்கள் இதனை எண்ணுவதில்லை. தாங்கள்  நினைத்தால் எதனையும் சாதிக்கலாம் என எண்ணி  இறுமாப்பாய் அலைகிறார்கள். இப்படி இறுமாப்பாய் இருந்த  நமது அரசியல் தலைவர்கள் இருந்த இடம் தெரியாமல்  போய்விட்டதை நாம் கண்கூடாகப் பார்த்துள்ளோம். 

முதல் முதலாக, ஆதியாகம சம்பவங்களில் தேவன் வலிமை மிக்கமனிதர்களது கைக்கு  வலிமை அற்றவர்களை விடுவித்து  என்னுடைய ஆவியினாலேயே ஆகும் என்பதை மனிதர்களுக்குப்  புரிய வைத்தார்.  மோசே எனும் ஒற்றை மனிதனைக் கொண்டு  பார்வோன் மன்னனின் பெரிய ராணுவத்தைக் கவிழ்த்துப்  போட்டார். 

பார்வோனின் படை வீரர்களும் குதிரைகளும் போர்  செய்வதற்குப் பழக்கப்பட்டவை. பல போர்களை சந்தித்து வெற்றிகண்டவை. ஆனால் அந்தச் சேனையின் பலம் பார்வோனுக்கு  வெற்றியைக் கொடுக்கவில்லை.  தேவனுடைய ஆவியைப் பெற்றுஇருந்த மனிதனாகிய மோசேயின் முன் அந்தச் சேனையால்  நிற்க முடியவில்லை.  தேவனுடைய ஆவியினாலே எல்லாம் கூடும்என்பதற்கேற்ப வெற்றி மோசே மூலம் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கு  கிடைத்தது.

நமக்குவேண்டுமானால் நமது பிரச்சனைகள்  மலைபோலத்  தெரியலாம். தேவனிடம் அதனை ஒப்புவித்துவிடும்போது அது  அற்பமான பிரச்னையாக மாறி நமக்கு வெற்றி கிடைக்கும்.  வேலை செய்யும் இடங்களில் பிரச்னை , குடும்பத்தில் பிரச்னை, தொழிலில் பிரச்னை......ஐயோ நான் இதனை எப்படிச்  சமாளிக்கப் போகிறேன் எனப் புலம்பிப்  பயப்படவேண்டாம்.  தேவனுடைய ஆவியினால் நம்மை  விடுவிக்க முடியும்.

அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பவுல் அடிகள் இதனால்தான் துணித்து  கூறுகிறார்,"என்னைப் பெலப்படுத்துகிற கிறிஸ்துவினாலே  எல்லாவற்றையுஞ்செய்ய எனக்குப் பெலனுண்டு." (  பிலிப்பியர் 4 : 13) எந்தச் சூழ்நிலையிலும் வெற்றியும் பலமும் தந்து தேவன்  நம்மை நிலை நிறுத்த வல்லவர்.

தேவனுடைய எண்ணங்களுக்கும் மனிதர்களுடைய  எண்ணங்களுக்கும் வித்தியாசம் உண்டு மனிதர்கள் பலம்தான் வெற்றிதரும் என எண்ணுகிறார்கள். ஆனால் தேவன்  பலவீனமானவைகளையும் அற்பமாய் எண்ணப்படு பவைகளையும் தான் பயன்படுத்துகின்றார். 

மீதியானியர் கைகளுக்கு இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை விடுவித்தக்  கிதியோன் மேலும் ஒரு உதாரணம். மீதியானியர் போரில்  வல்லவர்கள். ஆனால் கிதியோனிடம் இருந்த மக்களோ  அற்பமான சாதாரண மனிதர்கள்."உன்னுடன் வரும் மக்கள்  மிகுதியாக இருக்கிறார்கள் நீங்கள் வெற்றிபெற்றால் எங்கள்  கை பலம்தான் எங்களுக்கு வெற்றி தந்தது என மக்கள் தேவனுக்கு விரோதமாகப் பேசுவார்கள். எனவே உன்னோடுகூட  போரிட  வரும் உன் மக்களது  எண்ணிக்கையைக்  குறை எனக்கூறி  இறுதியில் 300 பேரைக் கொண்டு கிதியோன் மீதியானியரை  வெற்றி கொண்டார். (நியாயாதிபதிகள் -7)

 எதிரான எண்ணிக்கை தேவனுக்குப் பெரிதல்ல , பிரச்சனையின் அளவும் பெரிதல்ல.

"ஞானிகளை வெட்கப்படுத்தும்படி தேவன் உலகத்தில்  பைத்தியமானவைகளைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்;  பலமுள்ளவைகளை வெட்கப்படுத்தும்படி தேவன் உலகத்தில்  பலவீனமானவைகளைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்." (  1 கொரிந்தியர் 1 : 27) 

 ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, உங்கள் பகுதியில், உங்கள் ஊரில் நீங்கள் பொருளாதாரத்திலோ, பதவியிலோ, பிறரைவிட  அற்பமானவர்களாக இருக்கலாம்.  ஆனால் தேவன் உங்களைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு பயன்படுத்தும்போதுஉங்களை ஏழனமாய்ப் பார்த்தவர்கள் ஆச்சரியத்தால் வாய்பிழப்பார்கள்.

ஆம்,"என்னுடைய ஆவியினாலேயே ஆகும்"  என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் உங்களைப் பார்த்துச் சொல்லுகிறார்.

".......Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts." (Zechariah 4: 6)

Men are born insignificant. Even our body is insignificant. A man struggles with this insignificant body. The average human body temperature is 98.6 degrees F. If this body temperature rises 0.4 degrees to 99 degrees, we cannot get up and move; we must rest in bed tired of fever. That is our strength.

But humans don't think about it. They think they can achieve anything if they put their mind to it. We have seen with our own eyes that many of our political leaders, who used to be like this, have gone missing.

In the book of Genesis itself, God made people understand that it was by His Spirit that He delivered the weak from the hands of strong men. A single man named Moses overthrew the great army of Pharaoh.

Pharaoh's soldiers and horses were used to battle. Many battles have been fought and won by them. But the strength of the army did not give victory to Pharaoh. The army could not stand before Moses, a man who had received the Spirit of God. Victory came to the people of Israel through Moses, according to the Spirit of God.

Our problems can seem like mountains. But when we surrender it to God, it becomes a small problem, and we get victory. Problems at the workplace, problems in the family, problems in the profession—don't be afraid, lament, and worry, thinking, “How am I going to deal with this?" God's Spirit can set us free.

This is why the apostle Paul boldly says, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengtheneth me." (Philippians 4:13)

There is a difference between the thoughts of God and the thoughts of men. Men think that only strength will prevail. But God only uses the weak and the little ones for his work.

Another example is Gideon who freed the people of Israel from the hands of the Midianites. The Midianites were great warriors. But Gideon's people were ordinary people. "People with you are too much; If you win, people will speak against God and say that it was the strength of our hands that gave us victory. Therefore, as per God’s will, Gideon defeated the Midianites with 300 men. (Judges-7).

"But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;" (1 Corinthians 1: 27) Yes, dear ones, in your area, in your town, you may be less than others in terms of economy or position. But when God knows you and uses you, those who saw you as poor will be amazed.

Yea, saith the Lord of hosts unto you, "It is by my Spirit."

மேலானவைகளைத் தேடுங்கள் / SEEK THE HIGHER ONES

  'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,118      💚 மார்ச் 02, 2024 💚 சனிக்கிழமை 💚

"பூமியைப்பார்க்கிலும் வானங்கள் எப்படி உயர்ந்திருக்கிறதோ, அப்படியே உங்கள் வழிகளைப்பார்க்கிலும் என் வழிகளும், உங்கள் நினைவுகளைப்பார்க்கிலும் என் நினைவுகளும் உயர்ந்திருக்கின்றன." ( ஏசாயா 55 : 9 )

மனிதர்களது நினைவுகள் மனிதனின் மனதின் அளவுக்குத்தக்கத்தான் இருக்கும். ஒரு மிருகத்தின் நினைவுகள் மிருகத்துக்குரிய குணங்களை ஒத்துத்தான் இருக்கும். உதாரணமாக, ஒரு ஆடு அல்லது மாடு என்றைக்குமே தனக்கென்று ஒரு நல்ல வீடு கட்டவேண்டுமென்றோ ஒரு கார் வாங்கவேண்டுமென்றோ எண்ணாது. அவைகளின் எண்ணமெல்லாம் எங்கு பசுமைநிறம் தெரிகின்றதோ அங்கு செல்லவேண்டும்; வயிறு நிறையவேண்டும் என்பதுதான்.

இதுபோலவே தேவனது நினைவுகளும், வழிகளும் மனிதனைவிட உயர்ந்தவை. இதனைப் பவுலடிகள், "மண்ணானவன் எப்படிப்பட்டவனோ மண்ணானவர்களும் அப்படிப்பட்டவர்களே; வானத்துக்குரியவர் எப்படிப்பட்டவரோ, வானத்துக்குரியவர்களும் அப்படிப்பட்டவர்களே." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 15 : 48 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். கிறிஸ்து விண்ணகத்துக்குரியவர். அவரை விசுவாசிக்கும் நாமும் அவரைப்போல வானத்துக்குரியவர்களாக மாறவேண்டுமென்று அவர் விரும்புகின்றார். நாம் கிறிஸ்துவின் மீட்பு அனுபவத்தைப் பெற்றவர்களானால் நமது எண்ணமும் கிறிஸ்துவைப்போல மேலான எண்ணமாக இருக்கும்.

மேலும் பவுல் கூறுகின்றார், "நீங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவுடன்கூட எழுந்ததுண்டானால், கிறிஸ்து தேவனுடைய வலதுபாரிசத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கும் இடத்திலுள்ள மேலானவைகளைத் தேடுங்கள்." (  கொலோசெயர் 3 : 1 ) அதாவது நாம் பாவத்துக்கு மரித்து கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் உயிர்த்தது உண்மையானால் நமது எண்ணங்கள் கிறிஸ்து தேவனுடைய வலதுபாரிசத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கும் இடத்திலுள்ள மேலானவைகளைத் தேடுவதாக இருக்கும். பரலோக எண்ணமுடையதாக இருக்கும். இல்லையானால் பூமிக்குரியவைகளையே எண்ணிக்கொண்டு அவற்றுக்காகவே ஜெபித்துக்கொண்டு இருப்போம்.

இயேசு கிறிஸ்து உலகத்தில் வாழ்ந்தபோது யூதர்களைப் பார்த்துக் கூறினார், "நீங்கள் தாழ்விலிருந்துண்டானவர்கள், நான் உயர்விலிருந்துண்டானவன்; நீங்கள் இந்த உலகத்திலிருந்துண்டானவர்கள், நான் இந்த உலகத்திலிருந்துண்டானவனல்ல." ( யோவான் 8 : 23 )

நமது எண்ணங்கள் பூமிக்குரிய ஆசீர்வாதங்களையே தேடுகின்றதா? அப்படியானால் நாம் இன்னும் கிறிஸ்து எதிர்பார்க்கும் மேலான நிலைக்கு வரவில்லை என்று பொருள். இப்படிப் பூமிக்குரிய ஆசீர்வாதங்களையே பிரசங்கிக்கும் பிரசங்கிகளும் பூமிக்குரியவர்களே. அவர்களைப் பின்பற்றும்போது நாம் மேலான நிலையினை அடைய முடியாது. 

கிறிஸ்து தேவனுடைய வலதுபாரிசத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கும் இடத்திலுள்ள மேலானவைகளைத் தேடுங்கள் என்கின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல். பூமியைப்பார்க்கிலும் வானங்கள் எப்படி உயர்ந்திருக்கிறதோ, அப்படியே நமது வழிகளும், நினைவுகளும் உயர்ந்தவையாக இருக்க வேண்டும். அதுவே தேவன் விரும்புவது.

            SEEK THE HIGHER ONES

‘AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,118 💚 March 02, 2024 💚 Saturday 💚

"For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." (Isaiah 55:9)

Human thoughts are about their human minds. An animal's thoughts correspond to animal characteristics. For example, a goat or a cow would never think of building themselves a nice house or buying a car. All their thoughts are to know and go wherever green is visible. It is to fill the stomach.

Likewise, God's thoughts and ways are higher than man's. That is why the apostle Paul says, "As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy; and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly." (1 Corinthians 15:48) Christ is heavenly. He wants us who believe in him to become heavenly like him. If we have experienced Christ's redemption, our thoughts will be like Christ's.

Paul further says, "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God." (Colossians 3:1) That is, if it is true that we have died to sin and risen in Christ, our thoughts will be to seek the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of Father God. Be heavenly-minded. If not, we will be thinking of earthly things and praying only for them.

When Jesus Christ lived in the world, he said to the Jews, "And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above; ye are of this world; I am not of this world." (John 8:23)

Are our thoughts seeking only earthly blessings? Then it means that we have not yet reached the higher level that Christ expects. The preachers who preach such earthly blessings are also earthly. If we follow them, we cannot attain higher status.

The apostle Paul says, "Seek those things which are above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God." As the heavens are higher than the earth, so our ways and thoughts should be higher. That is what God wants.
