Even the smallest verse in the Bible has been written with a purpose and can become a source of blessing in someone’s life. Let us receive the Word of God with faith and allow it to become reality in our lives. 

எந்த ஒரு சிறிய வேத வசனமும் இந்த உலகத்தில் யாராவது ஒருவருக்கு வாழ்வில் பலன்தருவதற்காகவே எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளது. தேவ வசனங்களை விசுவாசத்துடன் ஏற்று வாழ்வாக்குவோம். வாழ்வில் அற்புதங்களை தேவன் செய்வதை அனுபவிப்போம். 

 

🦋 Meditation verse - யோனா 1 : 17 / Jonah 1:17

 ஆதவன் தியானம்

எண் :- 2057 - நாள் :- 26.09.2026

"யோனாவை விழுங்கும்படி ஒரு பெரிய மீனை கர்த்தர் ஆயத்தப்படுத்தியிருந்தார்; அந்த மீன் வயிற்றிலே யோனா இராப்பகல் மூன்றுநாள் இருந்தார்." ( யோனா 1 : 17 )

யோனா தீர்க்கத்தரிசியைக்குறித்து ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும், "யோனா இரவும் பகலும் மூன்றுநாள் ஒரு பெரிய மீனின் வயிற்றில் இருந்ததுபோல, மனுஷகுமாரனும் இரவும் பகலும் மூன்றுநாள் பூமியின் இருதயத்தில் இருப்பார்" ( மத்தேயு 12 : 40 ) எனக் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார். இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவைக் குறித்த பிதாவின் திட்டத்தைப்போல யோனாவை விழுங்கிய மீன் தேவ திட்டத்தால் அனுப்பப்பட்ட மீன். குறிப்பிட்ட இடத்தில் கப்பலிலிருந்து யோனா வீசப்படுவார் நீ அங்கே சென்று காத்திருந்து அவர் தண்ணீரில் விழும்போது அவரை விழுங்கிவிடு என தேவன் மீனுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டு அனுப்பியிருந்தார்.

இன்று பல போதகர்கள் யோனா தேவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியவில்லை என்று தவறாகப் போதித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர். ஆனால் வேதாகமம் அப்படிக் குறிப்பிடவில்லை. தேவனுக்கும் யோனாவுக்கும் நெருக்கமான உறவு இருந்தது. ஒரு நண்பனுடன் உரையாடுவதுபோல யோனா தேவனோடு உரையாடி வந்தார். நினிவே நகர மக்கள் தனது போதனையினைக் கேட்டு மனம் திரும்புவார்கள் என்றும், அவர்களைத் தேவன் அழிக்கமாட்டார் என்பதும் யோனாவுக்கு ஏற்கெனவே தெரிந்திருந்தது. தனது நாட்டில் இருக்கும்போதே யோனா இதுகுறித்து தேவனிடம் பேசியிருக்கிறார். 

எனவேதான் நினிவே நகரை தேவன் அழிக்காமல் காப்பாற்றியபோது அவர், "கர்த்தரை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணி: ஆ கர்த்தாவே, நான் என் தேசத்தில் இருக்கும்போதே நான் இதைச் சொல்லவில்லையா? இதினிமித்தமே நான் முன்னமே தர்ஷீசுக்கு ஓடிப்போனேன்; நீர் இரக்கமும் மன உருக்கமும் நீடிய சாந்தமும் மிகுந்த கிருபையுமுள்ளவரும், தீங்குக்கு மனஸ்தாபப்படுகிறவருமான தேவனென்று அறிவேன்." ( யோனா 4 : 2 ) என்கின்றார். இப்படி நீர் செய்வீர் என்பதால்தான் நான் நீர் கூறியபடி முன்னமே நினிவேக்குப் போகாமல் தர்ஷீசுக்கு ஓடிப்போனேன் என்று யோனா கூறுவது கவனிக்கத்தக்கது. எவ்வளவு நெருக்கமான உரையாடல் பாருங்கள்!!!

யோனா மிகப்பெரிய தீர்க்கத்தரிசியாக இருந்தார். அவர் நேபாத்தின் குமாரனாகிய யெரொபெயாமின் ஆட்சிக்காலத்தில் வாழ்ந்தவர். இதனை நாம் 2 இராஜாக்கள் நூலில் வாசிக்கின்றோம். "காத்தேப்பேர் ஊரானாகிய அமித்தாய் என்னும் தீர்க்கதரிசியின் குமாரன் யோனா என்னும் தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரனைக்கொண்டு இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லியிருந்த வார்த்தையின்படியே, அவன் ஆமாத்தின் எல்லை முதற்கொண்டு சமபூமியின் கடல்மட்டுமுள்ள இஸ்ரவேலின் எல்லைகளைத் திரும்பச் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டான்." ( 2 இராஜாக்கள் 14 : 25 ) ஆம், யோனாவின் வார்த்தையின்படியே அந்த இராஜா இழந்துபோன இஸ்ரவேலின் எல்லைகளைத் திரும்பச் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டான்.

இன்று நாமும் யோனாவைப்போல தேவ உறவுடன் வாழவே அழைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம். யோனா தேவனோடு ஒரு நண்பனிடம் பேசி முடிவெடுத்ததுபோல நாம் இருக்கின்றோமா? தேவனுக்கும் நமக்குமுள்ள உறவு யோனாவுக்கும் தேவனுக்கும் இடையிலிருந்த உறவுபோல இருக்கின்றதா?  அப்படி இருக்குமானால் தேவன் நம்மைக் கைவிடமாட்டார். காரணம், யோனாவின் உள்ளான மனநிலை தேவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாமல் வாழ்வதல்ல. 

யோனாவைப்போல நமது பிரச்சனைகளையும், எண்ணங்களையும் நாம் தேவனோடு பகிர்ந்துகொள்கின்றோமா? அப்படியானால், யோனாவைக் காப்பாற்ற ஒரு பெரிய மீனை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தியிருந்ததைப்போல நம்மைக் காப்பாற்றிடவும் தேவன் வகைசெய்வார்.  மட்டுமல்ல, நாம் தவறி செய்யாமல் விட்டுவிட்ட நம்மைக்குறித்த தேவ திட்டத்தை மீண்டும் நாம் செய்து முடிக்க உதவிடுவார். அப்போது நாம் இதுவரை பயணித்த நமது தர்சீஷின் பயணத்தை மாற்றி தேவன் நமக்குக் குறித்துள்ள நினிவேயைநோக்கிப் பயணம் செய்வோம்.

"And the LORD appointed a great fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was in the stomach of the fish three days and three nights." (Jonah 1:17)

Regarding the prophet Jonah, the Lord Jesus Christ also said, "for just as JONAH WAS THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS IN THE BELLY OF THE SEA MONSTER, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth" (Matthew 12:40). Just as the Father had a plan concerning Jesus Christ, the fish that swallowed Jonah was a fish sent by God's plan. At the appointed place, Jonah would be thrown from the ship, and God had commanded and sent the fish, saying, "Go there and wait, and when he falls into the water, swallow him."

Today many preachers are wrongly teaching that Jonah was disobedient to God. But the Scriptures do not say so. There was a close relationship between God and Jonah. Jonah conversed with God as one would converse with a friend. Jonah already knew that the people of Nineveh would hear his preaching and repent, and that God would not destroy them. While still in his own country, Jonah had spoken with God about this.

That is why, when God spared Nineveh from destruction, he said, "Please LORD, was not this what I said while I was still in my own country? Therefore, in order to forestall this, I fled to Tarshish, for I knew that You are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, and one who relents concerning calamity" (Jonah 4:2). It is noteworthy that Jonah says, "Because I knew that You would do this, I fled to Tarshish beforehand instead of going to Nineveh as You had said." What a close conversation—look at it!!!

Jonah was a very great prophet. He lived during the reign of Jeroboam the son of Joash. We read this in the book of 2 Kings. "He restored the border of Israel from the entrance of Hamath as far as the Sea of the Arabah, according to the word of the LORD, the God of Israel, which He spoke through His servant Jonah the son of Amittai, the prophet, who was of Gath-Hepher." (2 Kings 14:25) Yes, according to the word of Jonah, that king restored the lost borders of Israel.

Today we too are called to live with a relationship with God like Jonah. Are we like Jonah, who spoke with God and made decisions as one would with a friend? Is the relationship between God and us like the relationship that existed between Jonah and God? If it is so, God will not abandon us. The reason is that Jonah's inner disposition was not to live in disobedience to God.

Do we share our problems and thoughts with God like Jonah? If so, just as God had prepared a great fish to save Jonah, God will also make a way to save us. Not only that, He will help us to once again complete the divine plan concerning us that we failed to do and left undone. Then we will change our journey toward Tarshish, where we have been traveling until now, and journey toward Nineveh, which God has appointed for us.

🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 49 : 25 / Isaiah 49:25

 ஆதவன் தியானம்

எண் :- 2056 - நாள் :- 25.09.2026

"என்றாலும் இதோ, பராக்கிரமனால் சிறைப்படுத்தப்பட்டவர்களும் விடுவிக்கப்படுவார்கள்; பெலவந்தனால் கொள்ளையிடப்பட்டதும் விடுதலையாக்கப்படும்; உன்னோடு வழக்காடுகிறவர்களோடே நான் வழக்காடி, உன் பிள்ளைகளை இரட்சித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்." ( ஏசாயா 49 : 25 ) 

தேவனுக்கு நம்மை அர்ப்பணித்து வாழும்போது நமக்கு பல்வேறு ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் உண்டு. அதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நமக்கு எடுத்துக் கூறுகின்றது. 

இதற்குமுன் நாம் வாழ்ந்த தேவனை அறியாத வாழ்க்கை நமக்கு பல்வேறு அடிமைத்தனங்களை வாழ்வில் கொண்டுவந்திருந்தது; சிறை வாழ்க்கைபோல பல சிறையிருப்புக்களை நமக்கு ஏற்படுத்தியிருந்தது. பல்வேறு பாவங்கள், நோய்கள், கடன்கள், குடும்பப் பிரச்சனைகள், போன்று பல சிறைகள் நமக்குச் சாத்தானால்  ஏற்பட்டிருந்தன. ஆம், சாத்தானையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம் "பராக்கிரமன்", "பெலவந்தன்"  என்று கூறுகின்றது. தேவனுக்குத் தங்களை  அர்ப்பணித்து வாழும்போது இப்படி, பராக்கிரமனால் சிறைப்படுத்தப்பட்டவர்களும் விடுவிக்கப்படுவார்கள் என்று இந்த வசனம் கூறுகின்றது.  

கடந்த காலங்களில் நாம், பொருளாதார இழப்புக்கள். தொழில் இழப்புகள், நண்பர்கள் மற்றும் நம்பியவர்களால் கைவிடப்பட்ட இழப்புக்கள், உடல் பலவீனமெனும் இழப்புகள், போன்ற பல்வேறு இழப்புகளை வாழ்வில் சந்தித்திருக்கலாம். இவைகளையே கொள்ளையிடப்பட்டவைகள் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. இப்படி, பெலவந்தனால் நம்மிடமிருந்து கொள்ளையிடப்பட்டவைகளும் விடுதலையாக்கப்படும் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

மட்டுமல்ல, எபேசியர் நிரூபத்தில் நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம், "ஏனெனில், மாம்சத்தோடும் இரத்தத்தோடுமல்ல, துரைத்தனங்களோடும், அதிகாரங்களோடும், இப்பிரபஞ்சத்தின் அந்தகார லோகாதிபதிகளோடும், வானமண்டலங்களிலுள்ள பொல்லாத ஆவிகளின் சேனைகளோடும் நமக்குப் போராட்டம் உண்டு" ( எபேசியர் 6 : 12 ) என்று. இப்படி உலக வாழ்க்கையிலும் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கையிலும் துரைத்தனங்கள், பல்வேறு அதிகாரங்கள், இப்பிரபஞ்சத்தின் அந்தகார லோகாதிபதிகள்,  வானமண்டலங்களிலுள்ள பொல்லாத ஆவிகள் நமக்கு எதிரிட்டு நிற்கின்றன. அதாவது நம்மோடு வழக்காடுகின்றன.  

இப்படி உன்னோடு வழக்காடுகிறவர்களோடே நானே வழக்காடி, உன் பிள்ளைகளை இரட்சித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன் என்கின்றார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.  இதனையே அன்று இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களைப்பார்த்து மோசே கூறினார், "கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்காக யுத்தம்பண்ணுவார்; நீங்கள் சும்மாயிருப்பீர்கள்" ( யாத்திராகமம் 14 : 14 ) என்று.

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, கர்த்தருக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து அவருக்கேற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது நமக்குக் கிடைக்கும் பலன்கள் இவைகளாகும்.  முதலில் அவர் நமது சிறையிருப்பை மாற்றுகின்றார்; நாம் இழந்துபோனவைகளை மீண்டும் பெறும்படி கிருபை செய்கின்றார்; நமக்காக அவரே போராடுகின்றார்; நம்மை மட்டுமல்ல, நமது பிள்ளைகளையும் பாதுகாத்து நடத்துகின்றார். 

நமது வாழ்க்கையையும், நமது குடும்பத்தையும் கர்த்தரது பாதுகாப்பில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து தேவ ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வோம்.

"Nevertheless, the captives of the mighty man will be taken away, and the prey of the tyrant will be rescued; for I will contend with the one who contends with you, and I will save your sons." (Isaiah 49:25, NASB)

When we live a life consecrated to God, there are various blessings for us. Today's meditation verse speaks to us about this very thing.

The life we lived before, without knowing God, had brought various forms of bondage into our lives; it had brought upon us many captivities, like a life of imprisonment. Various prisons — sins, diseases, debts, family problems, and the like — had been brought upon us by Satan. Yes, today's meditation verse calls Satan himself "the mighty man" and "the tyrant." When we live consecrated to God, this verse says that even those taken captive by the mighty man will be set free.

In times past, we may have faced various losses in life — financial losses, loss of employment, losses from being abandoned by friends and those we trusted, losses from bodily weakness, and many others. These are what today's meditation verse calls "the prey" that has been plundered. It says that even what has been plundered from us by the tyrant will be rescued.

Not only that, but we read in the book of Ephesians: "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12, NASB). In this way, both in worldly life and in spiritual life, rulers, various powers, the world forces of this darkness, and the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places stand against us. That is, they contend with us.

It is to those who contend with you that the Lord God says, "I will contend with the one who contends with you, and I will save your sons." This is what Moses said to the people of Israel long ago: "The LORD will fight for you while you keep silent" (Exodus 14:14, NASB).

Yes, dear ones, these are the benefits we receive when we surrender ourselves to the Lord and live a life worthy of Him. First, He changes our captivity; He shows grace so that we regain what we have lost; He Himself fights for us; and He not only protects us but also guides and safeguards our children.

Let us surrender our lives and our families into the Lord's protection and receive God's blessings.

🦋 Meditation verse - அப். நடபடிகள் 5 : 41 / Acts 5:41

 ஆதவன் தியானம்

எண் :- 2055 - நாள் :- 24.09.2026

"அவருடைய நாமத்துக்காகத் தாங்கள் அவமானமடைவதற்குப் பாத்திரராக எண்ணப்பட்டபடியினால், சந்தோஷமாய் ஆலோசனைச் சங்கத்தைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டுப்போய்," (அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 5 : 41 )

ஆரம்பகால ஊழியங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவை மட்டுமே மையப்படுத்துபவையாக  இருந்தன. எப்படியாவது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவையும் அவரது மீட்பினையும் மக்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கவேண்டுமென்று சீடர்கள் விரும்பிச் செயல்பட்டனர். எனவே தங்களது சுய பெருமை, புகழ்ச்சி இவைகளை அவர்கள் எதிர்பார்க்கவில்லை. 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம், சாதாரண விசுவாசிகளாகிய நமக்கும் இத்தகைய அவமானங்கள் ஏற்படலாம்; புறக்கணிப்புகள் நேரலாம் என்பதனையும் நாம் அவற்றைத் தாங்கி விசுவாசத்தில் நிலைத்து நிற்கவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது என்பதனையும் விளக்குகின்றது. 

இன்று பல அரசாங்கச் சட்டங்கள் சில சலுகைகளை கிறிஸ்தவர்களுக்கு மறுக்கின்றன. ஆனால், அந்தச் சலுகைகளைப் பெறுவதற்குப்  போலி சான்றிதழ் பெற்று  பலர் தங்களை கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்பதை மறைக்கின்றனர்.  

மட்டுமல்ல, சிறுபான்மையினருக்கு என அரசாங்கம் வழங்கியுள்ள சலுகைகளைத் தவறாகப் பயன்படுத்தி சாதாரண சிறுபான்மை கிறிஸ்தவ மக்களை  சில கிறிஸ்தவ சபை அமைப்புக்களே வஞ்சிக்கின்றன. அதாவது சிறுபான்மையினருக்கான சலுகைகள் - குறிப்பாக கல்வித்துறையில் - கல்வி நிறுவங்களை நடத்தும் கிறிஸ்தவ சபைகளே அனுபவிக்கின்றன. நீதிமன்றங்களில் பல வழக்குகள் சாதாரண கிறிஸ்தவர்களால் கிறிஸ்தவ சபைகளுக்கு எதிராகவே நடைபெற்றுக்கொண்டிருப்பதே இதற்குச் சான்று.  

மட்டுமல்ல, சில வழக்குகளில் பிற மத வழக்கறிஞர்களே கிறிஸ்தவ சபைகளுக்காக வாதாடுகின்றனர். ஒருசில பிறமத நீதிபதிகளே கிறிஸ்தவ சபைகளின் மனிதாபிமானமற்ற செயல்பாடுகளை வேத வசனங்களைச் சுட்டுக்காட்டியே கண்டித்துள்ளனர். இது கிறிஸ்தவர்களுக்கு அவமானமல்லவா?   

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் மெய்யான கிறிஸ்தவர்களாக, கிறிஸ்துவின் சீடர்களாக வாழவேண்டுமானால் இத்தகைய முரண்பாடுகளைவிட்டு நாம் வெளிவரவேண்டியது அவசியம். பிற மக்கள் மத்தியில் உங்களது நடத்தை அவமானப்படத்தக்கதாக அல்லவா இருக்கின்றது? "அவருக்காக எல்லாவற்றையும் நஷ்டமென்று விட்டேன்; குப்பையுமாக எண்ணுகிறேன்." ( பிலிப்பியர் 3 : 11 ) எனும் அப்போஸ்தலர் பவுலின் வார்த்தைகளை வாசித்தாலும் பிரசங்கித்தாலும் மட்டும் போதாது. குறைந்தபட்சம் அதில் பாதியளவாவது நாம் கடைபிடிக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

கிறிஸ்துவின் நாமத்துக்காகத் தாங்கள் அவமானமடைவதற்குப் பாத்திரராக எண்ணப்பட்டபடியினால், அப்போஸ்தலர்கள் அன்று சந்தோஷப்பட்டார்கள். இன்று அவரது பெயரைப் பயன்படுத்தி சொத்துக்களும் சுகபோக வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வதிலும் ஊழியர்கள் சந்தோஷப்படுகிறார்கள். 

இன்று சாதாரண விசுவாசிகள் நாம்  இத்தகைய ஊழியர்களைப் பார்க்கவேண்டியது அவசியமில்லை. நாம் கிறிஸ்துவையே நோக்கிப்பார்ப்போம். நமக்கு வரும் புறக்கணிப்புகளையும், கிறிஸ்தவர்களாக இருப்பதால் வரும் நஷ்டங்களையும் பொறுமையுடன் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வோம். கிறிஸ்துவின் பெயரால் நமக்கு ஏற்படும் அவமானங்களால் மகிழ்ச்சியடைவோம்.

"So they went on their way from the presence of the Council, rejoicing that they had been considered worthy to suffer shame for His name." (Acts 5:41, NASB)

The early ministries were cantered on Christ alone. The disciples acted with a deep desire that, by whatever means, the Lord Jesus Christ and His redemption might be proclaimed to the people. Therefore, they did not seek their own pride or praise.

Today's meditation verse explains that such shame can come upon us as ordinary believers as well, and that rejection may come our way — and that it is essential for us to bear these things and remain steadfast in faith.

Today, many government laws deny certain benefits to Christians. But in order to obtain those benefits, many people procure false certificates and conceal that they are Christians.

Not only that — some Christian church organizations themselves deceive ordinary minority Christian people by misusing the benefits the government has granted for minorities. That is to say, the benefits meant for minorities — especially in the field of education — are enjoyed by the Christian churches that run educational institutions. The many court cases filed by ordinary Christians against Christian churches stand as proof of this.

Not only that, in some cases it is lawyers of other religions who argue on behalf of Christian churches. A few judges of other religions have even condemned the inhumane actions of Christian churches by pointing to Scripture verses. Is this not a shame for Christians?

Yes, dear ones, if we are to live as true Christians, as disciples of Christ, it is essential that we come out of such contradictions. Is your conduct among other people not something to be ashamed of? "I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish." (Philippians 3:8, NASB) — merely reading and preaching these words of the Apostle Paul is not enough. We must, at the very least, put even half of it into practice.

Because they had been considered worthy to suffer shame for the name of Christ, the apostles rejoiced in those days. Today, ministers rejoice in using His name to acquire property and live a life of comfort and luxury.

Today, we as ordinary believers need not look to such ministers. Let us look to Christ alone. Let us patiently accept the rejections that come to us and the losses we suffer because we are Christians. Let us rejoice in the shame we endure for the name of Christ.

"அவர்கள் தேசத்தின் தானியத்திலே புசித்த மறுநாளிலே மன்னா பெய்யாமல் ஒழிந்தது; அதுமுதல் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கு மன்னா இல்லாமற்போய், அவர்கள் கானான்தேசத்துப் பலனை அந்த வருஷத்தில்தானே புசித்தார்கள்." ( யோசுவா 5 : 12 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் தேவனுடைய வாக்குத்தத்தமோ, தீர்க்கத்தரிசனமோ அல்ல. மாறாக, சாதாரணமாக குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ள ஒரு சரித்திர சம்பவம். ஆனால், வேதாகமத்திலுள்ள எந்த ஒரு வார்த்தையும் வீணாக எழுதப்படவில்லை என்பதற்கும் வேத வசனங்களை நாம் விசுவாசத்தோடு ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதற்கும் இந்த வசனம் எப்படி ஒரு சகோதரனுடைய வாழ்வில் செயல்பட்டது என்பதனை விளக்கலாம் என்று எண்ணுகின்றேன். 

எனக்குத் தெரிந்த  ஆவிக்குரிய அனுபவங்களுள்ள ஒரு சகோதரன்  இருக்கின்றார். இந்தச் சகோதரன் நல்ல படிப்பு படித்திருந்தும் இவருக்கு ஏற்ற எந்த வேலையும் கிடைக்கவில்லை. திருமணமான இவருக்கு இரண்டு குழந்தைகள் உண்டு. இவரது தாயார் ஆசிரியையாகப் பணியாற்றி ஓய்வு பெற்றவர். அந்தத் தாய் இவருடன் கூட வசித்துவந்தார். இந்தத் தாய்க்கு மாதம்தோறும் கிடைக்கும் ஓய்வூதியத்தில் இந்தச் சகோதரன் குடும்பம் நடத்திவந்தார். 

தனக்கு ஏற்ற வேலை வேண்டுமென்று இந்தச் சகோதரன் பல ஆண்டுகள் ஜெபித்தபோதிலும் இவருக்கு எந்த வேலையும் கிடைக்கவில்லை. ஒருமுறை குடும்பத் திருமண நிகழ்ச்சி ஒன்றில் கலந்துகொண்டபோது உறவினர் ஒருவர் இந்தச் சகோதரனைப் பார்த்து, "எத்தனை நாட்கள் உன் அம்மாவின் ஓய்வூதியத்தில் வாழ்க்கை நடத்துவாய்? உன் அம்மா இறந்தபின் உனக்கு வருமானத்துக்கு என்ன செய்வாய்?" என்று கேட்டார். அது இந்தச் சகோதரனுக்கு மிக வேதனையைக் கொடுத்தது. 

அன்று இரவு இவரால் உறங்கமுடியவில்லை. உறவினர் கூறியது உண்மைதானே? அம்மா இறந்தபின் நாம் என்ன செய்வோம் எனக் கலங்கி, இப்படி ஜெபித்தார்: "ஆண்டவரே, நீர் ஏன் என்னை இப்படி மற்றவர்கள் அற்பமாக எண்ணுமளவுக்கு வைத்திருக்கின்றீர்?   எனக்கு வாழ்க்கைக்கு ஒரு வழியைக் காட்டும்" என்று  அழுதார். அப்போது ஆண்டவர் இவருக்கு இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தைக் காண்பித்தார். இந்தச் சகோதரனுக்கு ஒன்றும் புரியவில்லை. அது சம்பந்தமில்லாத தேவ பதிலாகத் தெரிந்தது.

ஒருசில ஆண்டுகள் கடந்தன. தேவன் இந்தச் சகோதரனைக் கண்ணோக்கினார். இந்தச் சகோதரனுக்கு அவரது படிப்புக்கேற்ற நல்ல வேலை கிடைத்தது. ஆனால் அவர் பணியில் சேர்ந்து பத்து நாட்களில் அவரது அம்மா மரித்துப்போனார்கள். அவர்கள் மூலம் கிடைத்துவந்த ஓய்வூதியமும் அரசாங்கத்தால் உடனேயே நிறுத்தப்பட்டது.  அப்போதுதான் ஆண்டவர் காட்டிய இன்றைய வேத வசனம் அவரது வாழ்வில் நிறைவேறியது அவருக்குப் புரிந்தது. 

ஆம்  அன்பானவர்களே, இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் தேசத்தின் தானியத்திலே புசித்த மறுநாளிலே மன்னா பெய்யாமல் ஒழிந்து   மன்னா இல்லாமற்போய், அவர்கள் கானான்தேசத்துப் பலனைப் புசித்ததுபோல தேவன் இந்தச் சகோதரனுக்கு அவரது தாய்மூலம் அதுவரை கொடுத்துவந்த மன்னாவை நிறுத்தி அவரது சொந்த உழைப்பின் பயனை அனுபவிக்கச் செய்தார். தாயாரின் ஓய்வூதியம் நிறுத்தப்பட்ட உடனேயே இவரது உழைப்பின் பலனை இந்தச் சகோதரன் அனுபவிக்கத் துவங்கினார். இப்போது இவர் நல்ல நிலையில் இருக்கின்றார். வாழ்வின் ஒருவழி அடைக்கப்படும்போது மறுவழி நிச்சயம் திறக்கும். 

ஆம், நம்மைக்குறித்து தேவனுக்கு ஒரு திட்டமுண்டு. மற்றவர்கள் கூறும் அவதூறுக்கும், பரிகாசத்துக்கும் கவலைப்படாமல் தேவனையே சார்ந்து வாழப்பழகுவோம். மட்டுமல்ல, எந்த ஒரு சிறிய வேத வசனமும் இந்த உலகத்தில் யாராவது ஒருவருக்கு வாழ்வில் பலன்தருவதற்காகவே எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளது. தேவ வசனங்களை விசுவாசத்துடன் ஏற்று வாழ்வாக்குவோம். வாழ்வில் அற்புதங்களை தேவன் செய்வதை அனுபவிப்போம்.

AATHAVAN MEDITATION

No. 2054 – September 23, 2026

“The day after they had eaten some of the produce of the land, the manna ceased. The sons of Israel no longer had manna, but they ate some of the yield of the land of Canaan during that year.” (Joshua 5:12, NASB)

Today’s meditation verse is neither a promise from God nor a prophecy. Rather, it is simply a historical event recorded in the Bible. Yet, I believe this verse can teach us that not a single word in the Bible has been written in vain, and that the Word of God can work powerfully in a person’s life when it is received with faith.

I know a brother who has had a genuine spiritual experience with God. Although he was well educated, he could not find a suitable job. He was married and had two children. His mother, who had worked as a teacher, had retired and was living with him. The family was managing their day-to-day life with the monthly pension that his mother received.

For several years, this brother prayed earnestly for a job that would be suitable for his education and abilities. Yet, no employment opportunity came his way.

Once, when he attended a family wedding, one of his relatives saw him and asked, “How long are you going to live on your mother’s pension? What will you do for an income after your mother dies?” Those words deeply hurt him.

That night, he could not sleep. What his relative had said was, after all, true. He became anxious, wondering what would happen to his family after his mother’s death. In tears, he prayed:

“Lord, why have You allowed me to be in such a situation that others look down upon me? Please show me a way to live.” At that moment, the Lord showed him today’s meditation verse.

The brother could not understand what it meant. It appeared to him to be an answer from God that had nothing to do with his situation.

A few years passed.

Then God looked upon this brother with grace, and he was given a good job that was appropriate for his education. However, just ten days after he joined the job, his mother passed away. The pension that had been supporting the family through her was immediately discontinued by the government.

It was only then that he understood how the Scripture the Lord had shown him earlier had been fulfilled in his own life.

Yes, dear friends, just as the manna ceased the day after the Israelites ate the produce of the land, and they began to eat the fruit of the land of Canaan, God stopped the “manna” that had been provided to this brother through his mother and enabled him to experience the fruit of his own labour.

As soon as his mother’s pension came to an end, he began to enjoy the fruit of his own work. Today, he is doing well and living in a good situation. When one door in life closes, another will surely open.

Yes, beloved, God has a plan for each one of us.

Let us learn to depend upon God and not be discouraged by the criticism, ridicule, or hurtful words of others. More than that, let us remember that even the smallest verse in the Bible has been written with a purpose and can become a source of blessing in someone’s life.

Let us receive the Word of God with faith and allow it to become reality in our lives. Then we will experience the wonderful ways in which God works miracles in our lives.

🦋 Meditation verse - கலாத்தியர் 6 : 8 / Galatians 6:8

 ஆதவன் தியானம்

எண் :- 2053 - நாள் :- 22.09.2026

"தன் மாம்சத்திற்கென்று விதைக்கிறவன் மாம்சத்தினால் அழிவை அறுப்பான்; ஆவிக்கென்று விதைக்கிறவன் ஆவியினாலே நித்தியஜீவனை அறுப்பான்." ( கலாத்தியர் 6 : 8 )

மாம்சத்திற்கென்று விதைத்தல் என்பது இந்த உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்காகவே நாம் உழைத்துக்கொண்டிருப்பதையும் ஜெபித்துக்கொண்டிருப்பதையும் குறிக்கின்றது. ஒருவேளை இப்படி நாம் முயற்சிசெய்வது நமக்குக் கிடைத்தாலும் அவை நமக்கு நிலைத்த மகிழ்ச்சியைத் தராது. மேலும் அவை ஆசீர்வாதம்போல முதலில்தெரிந்தாலும் அவற்றின் முடிவு ஆசீர்வாதமல்ல அழிவே என்பதனை நாம் பிற்பாடு புரிந்துகொள்வோம்.  

ஒருவேளை நமது கடினமான முயற்சிகளால் நாம் இந்த உலகத்து மனிதர்களது பாராட்டுதலையும் அதிகமான பொருட்களையும் சேர்க்கலாம். ஆனால் அப்படி நாம் உலகத்தை ஆதாயப்படுத்துவது நமது ஆத்துமாவுக்கு எந்த பலனையும் கொண்டுவராது. எனவேதான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறினார், "மனுஷன் உலகம் முழுவதையும் ஆதாயப்படுத்திக்கொண்டாலும், தன் ஜீவனை நஷ்டப்படுத்தினால் அவனுக்கு லாபம் என்ன? மனுஷன் தன் ஜீவனுக்கு ஈடாக என்னத்தைக் கொடுப்பான்?" ( மத்தேயு 16 : 26 ) என்று.

ஆனால் நாம் எடுக்கும் ஆவிக்குரிய வளர்ச்சிக்கான முயற்சிகள் அப்படியல்ல. நமக்கு அவை முதலில் கடினமாகவும் எந்த ஆசீர்வாதமும் இல்லாததுபோலத் தெரிந்தாலும் இறுதியில்  நமக்கு நித்தியஜீவனை பிரதிபலனானத் தரும். இதனையே, "மனுஷன் எதை விதைக்கிறானோ அதையே அறுப்பான்." ( கலாத்தியர் 6 : 7 ) என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின் முந்தின வசனத்தில் நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

நமது சிந்தனையே செயலாக மாறுகின்றது. மாம்ச  சிந்தை கொண்டிருந்தோமானால் மாம்ச காரியங்களையே செய்வோம். ஆவிக்குரிய சிந்தை நமக்கு இருக்குமானால் ஆவிக்குரிய செயல்களைச்  செய்து ஆவிக்குரிய மக்களாக வாழ்வோம்.  இதனையே, "அன்றியும் மாம்சத்தின்படி நடக்கிறவர்கள் மாம்சத்துக்குரியவைகளைச் சிந்திக்கிறார்கள்; ஆவியின்படி நடக்கிறவர்கள் ஆவிக்குரியவைகளைச் சிந்திக்கிறார்கள்." ( ரோமர் 8 : 5 ) என எழுதுகின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல்.

வினை விதைத்தவன் வினை அறுப்பான்; தினை விதைத்தவன் தினை அறுப்பான் என்பது தமிழ் பழமொழி.   முட்செடியின் விதையினை விதைத்துவிட்டு நல்ல அத்திப்பழங்களை அவை தரும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்க முடியாது. 

ஆவிக்கென்று விதைப்பது என்பது, ஆவிக்குரிய காரியங்களுக்கு முன்னுரிமைகொடுத்து நித்திய ஜீவனைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள நாம் செய்யும் செயல்பாடுகளைக் குறிக்கின்றது. பாவத்துக்கு விலகி, பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் வழிநடத்துதலின்படி நடப்பதைக் குறிக்கின்றது. 

இன்று பலரது வாழ்க்கையை வெளியிலிருந்து பார்க்கும்போது நல்ல ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கைபோலத் தெரிகின்றது. ஆனால் சற்று ஆழமாகக் கவனித்தால் அவர்களது ஆவிக்குரிய முயற்சிகளின் இறுதி இலக்கு உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெறுவதற்காகவே இருப்பதை கண்டுகொள்ளமுடியும். 

இப்படி முற்றிலுமாக உலக ஆசைகொண்டு அலைந்துவிட்டு நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய ஆசீர்வாதங்களை எதிர்பார்க்க முடியாது. காரணம், மாம்சத்துக்கென்று உழைப்பதால் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வை  அழிவுக்குநேராகவே கொண்டு செல்வோம். ஆனால் மெய்யாகவே ஆவிக்குரிய காரியங்களுக்காக உழைக்கும்போது தேவன் உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களையும் நமக்குச் சேர்த்துத் தருவார். "முதலாவது தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தையும் அவருடைய நீதியையும் தேடுங்கள், அப்பொழுது இவைகளெல்லாம் உங்களுக்குக்கூடக் கொடுக்கப்படும்." ( மத்தேயு 6 : 33 ) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறவில்லையா?

அன்பானவர்களே, நமது எண்ணங்களையும் வாழ்கையினையும் செயல்பாடுகளையும் சிந்தித்துப் பார்ப்போம். நாம் உண்மையில் எதற்காக விதைத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றோம் ?

"For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life." (Galatians 6:8)

Sowing to the flesh refers to our labouring and praying solely for worldly blessings. Even if we should obtain these things through such effort, they will not give us lasting joy. Furthermore, though they may at first appear to be blessings, we will later come to understand that their end is not a blessing but corruption.

Perhaps through our hard efforts we may gain the praise of worldly people and accumulate many possessions. But gaining the world in this way will bring no benefit to our soul. That is why Jesus Christ said, "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" (Matthew 16:26).

But the efforts we make for spiritual growth are not like that. Though at first, they may seem difficult to us and appear to carry no blessing, in the end they will yield eternal life as our reward. This is what we read in the verse preceding today's meditation verse: "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap." (Galatians 6:7).

Our thoughts themselves become actions. If we have a fleshly mindset, we will do fleshly deeds. If we have a spiritual mindset, we will do spiritual deeds and live as spiritual people. This is what the apostle Paul writes: "For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit." (Romans 8:5).

"A man who sows evil reaps evil; a man who sows millet reaps millet" is a Tamil proverb. Having sown the seed of a thornbush, one cannot expect it to yield good figs.

To sow to the Spirit means to give priority to spiritual things and to engage in the activities by which we obtain eternal life. It means turning away from sin and walking according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Today, when we look at many people's lives from the outside, they appear to be good spiritual lives. But if we look a little more deeply, we can recognize that the ultimate goal of their spiritual efforts is merely to obtain worldly blessings.

Having wandered about wholly consumed by worldly desires in this way, we cannot expect spiritual blessings. The reason is that by labouring for the flesh, we will carry our spiritual life only toward corruption. But when we truly labour for spiritual things, God will add worldly blessings to us as well. Did not Jesus Christ say, "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you" (Matthew 6:33)?

Beloved ones, let us examine our thoughts, our lives, and our actions. What are we truly sowing for?

🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 55 : 6 / Isaiah 55:6

 ஆதவன் தியானம்

"கர்த்தரைக் கண்டடையத்தக்க சமயத்தில் அவரைத் தேடுங்கள்; அவர் சமீபமாயிருக்கையில் அவரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுங்கள்." ( ஏசாயா 55 : 6 )

எந்த ஒரு விலைமதிப்பற்ற பொருளும் நமக்குச் சும்மா கிடைக்காது. அவற்றைப் பெற்றிட நாம்  ஆர்வமுள்ளவர்களாகவும் அதனைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள முயற்சியெடுப்பவர்களாகவும் இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நமக்கு எடுத்துக் கூறுகின்றது. தேவாதி தேவனை கண்டடைய நாம் முயற்சியெடுக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம், "கர்த்தரைக் கண்டடையத்தக்க சமயத்தில் அவரைத் தேடுங்கள்" என்று கூறுவது  பலருக்கு, "அது என்ன கண்டடையத்தக்க சமயம்?" என மனதில் ஒரு கேள்வியை எழுப்பலாம். அது வேறு ஒன்றுமல்ல, மனம்திரும்புதலுக்கான நற்செய்தி என்றெல்லாம் நமக்குத் தரப்படுகின்றதோ அந்த நாளெல்லாம் அவரைக் கண்டடையத்தக்கச்  சமயம்தான்; அப்போதெல்லாம் அவர் நமக்குச் சமீபமாயிருகின்றார் என்று பொருள்.    

எனவேதான் ஏசாயா இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து, "துன்மார்க்கன் தன் வழியையும், அக்கிரமக்காரன் தன் நினைவுகளையும் விட்டு, கர்த்தரிடத்தில் திரும்பக்கடவன்; அவர் அவன்மேல் மனதுருகுவார்; நம்முடைய தேவனிடத்திற்கே திரும்பக்கடவன்; அவர் மன்னிக்கிறதற்குத் தயை பெருத்திருக்கிறார்." ( ஏசாயா 55 : 7 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

மேலும், சில சோதனைகள், துன்பங்கள் நமக்கு ஏற்படுவதும் அவர் நமக்குச் சமீபமாய் இருக்கின்றார் என்பதற்கு அடையாளம். அவற்றை நாம் புரிந்துகொண்டவர்களாக அவரிடம் திரும்பவேண்டியது அவசியம். "நான் நேசிக்கிறவர்களெவர்களோ அவர்களைக் கடிந்துகொண்டு சிட்சிக்கிறேன்; ஆகையால் நீ ஜாக்கிரதையாயிருந்து, மனந்திரும்பு." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 3 : 19 ) என்று நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம்.

அன்பானவர்களே, இந்த உலகத்தில்கூட நாம் நமக்கு ஒரு வேலைவாய்ப்பு கிடைக்கவேண்டுமென்றால் எவ்வளவு சிரமமெடுத்துத் தேடுகின்றோம்; யார் யாரிடமெல்லாமோ சென்று கேட்கின்றோம்; எத்தனை உயர் அதிகாரிகளது வீடுகளை உதவி வேண்டித் தட்டுவதற்கும் துணிகின்றோம். இதனையே ஆண்டவர் இயேசு கூறினார், "ஏனென்றால், கேட்கிறவன் எவனும் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறான்; தேடுகிறவன் கண்டடைகிறான்; தட்டுகிறவனுக்குத் திறக்கப்படும்." ( மத்தேயு 7 : 8 ) என்று. 

இந்த உலக காரியங்களுக்காக இப்படி சிரமமெடுக்கும் நாம் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வுக்காக இப்படி சிரமமெடுத்துத் தேடவேண்டாமா? 

இன்று நமக்குப் பல்வேறு சமயங்களில் பல்வேறு முறைகளில் ஆண்டவரின் வார்த்தைகள் வந்து சேர்கின்றன. அந்த வேளைகளெல்லாம் அவர் சமீபமாயிருக்கிறார்; அந்த நற்செய்திக்கு நாம் செவிகொடுக்கின்றோமா என்று எதிர்பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றார். தேவன் வலுக்கட்டாயமாக எவரது உள்ளத்திலும் நுழைந்துவிடுவதில்லை. அவர் மனிதர்களது தனித்துவத்தை மதிக்கின்றார். நாம் அவரைத் தேடினால் நமக்குள் வருவதற்கு வர ஆவலாக இருக்கின்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் சுவிசேஷத்தைக் கேட்கும்போதெல்லாம் அவர் நமது இருதயத்தின் கதவுகளைத் தட்டுகின்றார் என்று பொருள். நாம் கதவைத் திறந்தால் அவர் உள்ளே வருவார். அவரை உள்ளே அனுமதிப்பதும் வெளியிலேயே நிறுத்திவிடுவதும் நமது கையில்தான் இருக்கின்றது. "இதோ, வாசற்படியிலே நின்று தட்டுகிறேன்; ஒருவன் என் சத்தத்தைக்கேட்டு, கதவைத் திறந்தால், அவனிடத்தில் நான் பிரவேசித்து, அவனோடே போஜனம்பண்ணுவேன், அவனும் என்னோடே போஜனம்பண்ணுவான்." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 3 : 20 )

சுவிசேஷ அறிவிப்புகள் நமக்கு எரிச்சல்மூட்டவேண்டாம்; அவற்றுக்குச் செவிகொடுப்போம். துன்பங்கள் நெருக்கும்போது தேவன் நமது அருகில் இருக்கின்றார் என்பதனை உணர்ந்து அவரைத் தேடுவோம். ஆம், "அநுக்கிரக காலத்திலே நான் உனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, இரட்சணியநாளிலே உனக்கு உதவிசெய்தேன் என்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறாரே; இதோ, இப்பொழுதே அநுக்கிரககாலம், இப்பொழுதே இரட்சணியநாள்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 6 : 2 )

அவரை உண்மையான உள்ளத்துடன் தேடுவோமானால் அவரை வாழ்வில் நாம் கண்டுகொள்ளலாம். அவர் நமக்குச் செவிகொடுப்பார்; நமக்கு உதவுவார்.

"Seek the LORD while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near." (Isaiah 55:6)

No priceless thing comes to us for nothing. To obtain them, it is essential that we be eager and make an effort to receive them. This is what today's meditation verse tells us. It is essential that we make an effort to find the Lord of lords.

Today's meditation verse says, "Seek the LORD while He may be found" — this may raise a question in many minds: "What is that time when He may be found?" It is nothing else — all the days when the good news of repentance is given to us are the time when He may be found; it means that during those times He is near to us.

That is why Isaiah, continuing today's meditation verse, says, "Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to the LORD, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon." (Isaiah 55:7)

Furthermore, certain trials and troubles that come upon us are also a sign that He is near to us. We must understand them and return to Him. We read, "Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore, be zealous and repent." (Revelation 3:19)

Dear ones, even in this world, if we need a job opportunity, how much effort we take to search for it; we go and ask so many people; we even dare to knock on the doors of so many high officials seeking help. This is what the Lord Jesus said: "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened." (Matthew 7:8)

If we take such effort for the things of this world, should we not take such effort and seek for our spiritual life?

Today, the Lord's words come to us at various times and in various ways. All those moments are times when He is near; He is waiting to see whether we listen to that good news. God does not force His way into anyone's heart. He respects the uniqueness of human beings. If we seek Him, He is eager to come into us.

Yes, dear ones, whenever we hear the gospel, it means He is knocking at the doors of our hearts. If we open the door, He will come in. Whether we let Him in or leave Him standing outside is in our hands. "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me." (Revelation 3:20)

Let the gospel proclamations not irritate us; let us listen to them. When troubles press in, let us realize that God is near us and seek Him. Yes, "for He says, 'At the acceptable time I listened to you, And on the day of salvation I helped you.' Behold, now is 'the acceptable time,' behold, now is 'the day of salvation.'" (2 Corinthians 6:2)

If we seek Him with a sincere heart, we can find Him in our lives. He will listen to us; He will help us.

🦋 Meditation verse - யோவான் 11 : 37 / John 11:37

 ஆதவன் தியானம்

எண் :- 2051       நாள் :- 20.09.2026

"அவர்களில் சிலர்: குருடனுடைய கண்களைத் திறந்த இவர். இவனைச் சாகாமலிருக்கப்பண்ணவும் கூடாதா என்றார்கள்." ( யோவான் 11 : 37 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நமக்கு இரண்டுவிதப் பார்வைகளைத் தருகின்றது. ஒன்று, மனிதர்கள் தேவனைப் பார்க்கும் பார்வை. இன்னொன்று, அவர்கள் சக மனிதர்களைப் பார்க்கும் பார்வை. 

ஆண்டவர் இயேசு "நன்மை செய்கிறவராகவே உலகில் சுற்றித்திரிந்தார்" என்று நாம் வேதாகமத்தில் வாசிக்கின்றோம். ஆனால் அன்றைய சமுதாயத்தில் வாழ்ந்தவர்கள் இதனை முற்றிலும் உணர்த்துக்கொள்ளவில்லை. இறந்த லாசருவை நான்கு நாட்களுக்குப்பின் கல்லறையிலிருந்து உயிருடன் எழுப்பி தான் தேவ குமாரன் என்பதை மக்களுக்குக் காண்பிக்கவேண்டும் என்பது தேவ திட்டம். அதற்கு லாசர் முதலில் மரிக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். மனிதர்களுக்கு இது தெரியாததால்,  "குருடனுடைய கண்களைத் திறந்த இவர். இவனைச் சாகாமலிருக்கப்பண்ணவும் கூடாதா" என்று குறைகூறினார்கள். 

தேவ நோக்கம், தேவ சித்தம் அறிந்த மனிதர்கள் இப்படி தேவனைக் குறைகூறிக்கொண்டிருக்கமாட்டார்கள். நமது வாழ்விலும் நாம் இதனைப் புரிந்து வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். தேவன் எதனைச் செய்தாலும் நமது நன்மைக்காகவே செய்வார் எனும் விசுவாசம் நமக்கு அவசியம். 

மேலும், மனிதர்கள் தேவனிடம் பல்வேறு வேண்டுதல்களைச் செய்கின்றனர்.  பலர் தேவன் தங்களது வாழ்வில் இதுவரைச் செய்திருக்கும் நல்ல செயல்களை நினைத்துப்பார்த்து நன்றிகூறுவதில்லை. மாறாக, தங்களது நிறைவேறாத வேண்டுதல்களை மற்றவர்களிடம் பட்டியலிட்டு விளக்கி, "நான் எவ்வளவோ ஜெபம் செய்கிறேன், எத்தனையோ  ஆண்டுகளாக இந்தக் குறிப்பிட்டக் காரியத்துக்காக ஜெபிக்கின்றேன், ஆனால் ஆண்டவர் என் ஜெபத்தைக் கேட்கவில்லை" என முறுமுறுகின்றனர்.  முதலில்  "நன்றியறிதல் உள்ளவர்களாகவும் இருங்கள்." ( கொலோசெயர் 3 : 15 ) என்று வேதம் நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது. 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் உணர்த்தும் இரண்டாவது உண்மை, மனிதர்கள் நாம் சக மனிதர்களைப் பார்க்கும் பார்வை பற்றியது.  ஒருவர் எவ்வளவு நன்மை செய்திருந்தாலும் அதனை அனுபவித்தவர்கள் அதனைப் பெரிதாக எண்ணாமல், "இவ்வளவு உதவி செய்தவர் இதனையும் செய்திருக்கலாம்" என்றுதான் கூறுவார்கள். 

அரசியலிலும் ஒரு அரசாங்கம் நல்ல காரியங்கள் பல செய்திருந்தாலும் எதிர்க்கட்சியினர் அதனைப் பாராட்டாமல், இன்னொரு காரியத்தைச் சுட்டிக்காட்டி, "இதனை ஏன் செய்யவில்லை?" என்றுதான் கேள்வி எழுப்புவார்கள். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இன்றைய தியான வசனம் இவற்றினை உணர்த்தி, முதலில் தேவ சித்தத்துக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து வாழ அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது. "எனது வாழ்வில் தேவன் எதனைச் செய்தாலும் சரியாகவே செய்வார்" எனும் விசுவாசம் நமக்கு அவசியம். அதற்காக நாம் பொறுமையாகக் காத்திருக்கவேண்டும். மேலும் தேவன் இதுவரை நமக்குச் செய்துள்ள நன்மைகளை நினைத்து தேவனுக்கு நன்றியுள்ளவர்களாக வாழவேண்டும். இதனை ஏன் தேவன் செய்யவில்லை என்று கேள்வி எழுப்புதல் நல்லதல்ல.  காரணம், அவரது நோக்கம் நமக்குத் தெரியாது.

இறுதியாக, "குருடனுடைய கண்களைத் திறந்த இவர். இவனைச் சாகாமலிருக்கப்பண்ணவும் கூடாதா" எறு கேட்ட மக்களைப்போல நிறைவற்றவர்களாக இல்லாமல்  மனநிறைவுள்ளவர்களாக,  தேவன் இதுவரை நமது வாழ்வில் செய்த காரியங்களுக்கு நன்றியுணர்வுள்ளவர்களாக வாழவேண்டும். இதனையே தேவன் நம்மிடம் எதிர்பார்க்கின்றார்.

AATHAVAN MEDITATION

"But some of them said, 'Could not this man, who opened the eyes of the blind man, have kept this man from dying?'" (John 11:37, NASB)

Today's meditation verse gives us two kinds of perspectives. One is the perspective with which people look at God. The other is the perspective with which they look at their fellow human beings.

We read in the Scriptures that the Lord Jesus "went about doing good" in the world. But those who lived in that society did not fully understand this. God's plan was that Jesus should raise the dead Lazarus from the tomb after four days and show the people that He is the Son of God. For that, it was necessary that Lazarus die first. Since people did not know this, they grumbled, saying, "Could not this man, who opened the eyes of the blind man, have kept this man from dying?"

People who know God's purpose and God's will would not grumble against God like this. It is essential that we too understand this and live accordingly in our lives. We need the faith that whatever God does, He does for our good.

Furthermore, people make various requests to God. Many do not thank God by remembering the good things He has done in their lives so far. Instead, they list their unanswered prayers to others and explain, "I pray so much, I have been praying for this particular matter for so many years, but the Lord has not heard my prayer," and they grumble. First of all, the Scripture instructs us, "Be thankful." (Colossians 3:15, NASB)

The second truth that today's meditation verse conveys is about the perspective with which we look at our fellow human beings. However much good someone may have done, those who benefited from it will not regard it as significant; they will only say, "Someone who helped so much could have done this too."

In politics too, even if a government has done many good things, the opposition will not appreciate it; instead, they will point to another matter and ask, "Why was this not done?"

Yes, dear ones, today's meditation verse makes us understand these things and instructs us first to submit ourselves to God's will and live accordingly. We need the faith that "whatever God does in my life, He does rightly." For that, we must wait patiently. Moreover, we must live as people who are thankful to God, remembering the good things He has done for us so far. It is not good to raise the question of why God has not done this. The reason is that we do not know His purpose.

Finally, instead of being dissatisfied like the people who asked, "Could not this man, who opened the eyes of the blind man, have kept this man from dying?", we must live as content people, grateful for what God has done in our lives so far. This is what God expects from us.

🦋 Meditation verse - மாற்கு 5 : 35 / Mark 5:35

 ஆதவன் தியானம்

"அவர் இப்படிப் பேசிக்கொண்டிருக்கையில், ஜெபஆலயத்தலைவனுடைய வீட்டிலிருந்து சிலர் வந்து: உம்முடைய குமாரத்தி மரித்துப்போனாள், இனி ஏன் போதகரை வருத்தப்படுத்துகிறீர் என்றார்கள்." ( மாற்கு 5 : 35 )

எல்லாம் முடிந்துபோனது என மனிதர்கள் நாம் நினைக்கும்போது தேவன் ஆரம்பிக்கின்றார். இனி வாழ்க்கையில் நம்பிக்கையே இல்லை என நாம் எண்ணும்போது, உனக்கு ஒரு வாழ்வு உண்டு என்று தேவன் தனது வல்லமையான செயல்மூலம் நம்மை மகிழ்ச்சியூட்டுகின்றார். தேவனது வல்லமையினை புரிந்துகொள்ளாமல் மனிதர்கள் நாம் குறுகிய கண்ணோட்டத்துடன் அனைத்தையும் பார்ப்பதுதான் நமது மனவருத்தங்களுக்குக் காரணம்.

இன்று தேவையற்ற பல தற்கொலைகள் நாட்டில் நடைபெறுவதை நாம் பார்க்கின்றோம். மருத்துவ படிப்பிற்கான நுழைவுத் தேர்வுக்குத் தயாராகும்போதே பயத்தில் பல மாணவ மாணவிகள் தற்கொலை செய்து கொள்கின்றனர். தேர்வு எழுதியபின்னர் முடிவு வருமுன் பயத்தில் பலர் தங்கள் வாழ்க்கையினை முடித்துக்கொள்கின்றனர். மருத்துவ படிப்பிற்கு இடம்கிடைக்கவில்லை என்று சிலர் தற்கொலை செய்து மடிகின்றனர். ஆம், மருத்துவ படிப்பே மேலான படிப்பு எனும் குறுகிய அறிவற்ற தவறான மனநிலையே இதற்குக் காரணம். மருத்துவப் படிப்பு படித்தால் மட்டுமே வாழ்க்கை நன்றாக அமையும் எனும் குருட்டு எண்ணமே இதற்குக் காரணம்.  

இதுபோல,  காதல் தோல்வியினால், கடன் பாரத்தினாலும், தீராத உடல் நோயினாலும், எதிர்கால வாழ்க்கை குறித்த பயத்தினாலும், மனக்குழப்பதினாலும் பலர் தற்கொலை எனும் விபரீத முடிவினை எடுக்கின்றனர். அத்தகைய மனநிலையிலுள்ளவர்கள் ஒரு நிமிடம் செலவழித்து இந்தத் தியானத்தை வாசிக்க வேண்டுகின்றேன். 

ஜெப ஆலயத் தலைவன் ஒருவன் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவிடம் தனது நோயுற்ற மகளைக் குணமாக்க வருமாறு தனது வீட்டிற்கு அழைக்கின்றான். இயேசு செல்லும்போது இடையிலேயே இரத்தப்போக்கு நோயுற்ற ஒரு பெண் அவருக்கு இடைப்படுகின்றாள். இதனால் அவரது பயணம் தாமதமாகின்றது. அப்போது, "ஜெபஆலயத்தலைவனுடைய வீட்டிலிருந்து சிலர் வந்து: உம்முடைய குமாரத்தி மரித்துப்போனாள், இனி ஏன் போதகரை வருத்தப்படுத்துகிறீர் என்றார்கள்."

அன்பானவர்களே, மரணத்துடன் எல்லாம் முடிந்துவிட்டது என்றுதான் மனிதர்கள் நாம் எண்ணுவோம். ஆனால் அப்படி முடியவில்லை, உனக்கு நம்பிக்கை உண்டு என்கின்றார் தேவன். நாம் காத்திருக்கவேண்டும். தேவன் செயல்பட தாமதித்தாலும் நம்மை நினைவில் வைத்திருக்கின்றார், அவரை நோக்கிப் பார்க்கும்போது நிச்சயம் நமக்கு என்ற பதில் தருவார்.  மகள் இறந்துபோன கவலையுடன் நின்ற  ஜெபஆலயத்தலைவனை நோக்கி ஆண்டவர் இயேசு, "பயப்படாதே, விசுவாசமுள்ளவனாயிரு" என்று சொல்லி ( மாற்கு 5 : 36 ) அவனது வீட்டிற்குச் சென்று இறந்துபோன அவனது மகளை உயிர்பெறச் செய்தார். 

ஜெபஆலயத்தலைவனுடைய வீட்டிலிருந்து வந்த மக்கள் கூறியதைப்போல, "இனி உனக்கு நல்ல வாழ்க்கை ஏற்படப்போவதில்லை, எல்லாம் முடிந்துவிட்டது" என்று  இன்று நம்மைப்பார்த்தும் பலர் எண்ணலாம்; கூறலாம். அல்லது நாமே நமது வாழ்வில் எல்லாம் முடிந்துவிட்டது, இனி பிழைக்கமுடியாது என்று எண்ணிக் கலங்கலாம்.  ஆனால் ஆண்டவர் இயேசு அன்புடன் கூறுகின்றார், "பயப்படாதே, விசுவாசமுள்ளவனாயிரு" என்று. 

நமது பிரச்சனைகள், துன்பங்கள், நோய்கள் போன்றவை நம்மை அவரிடம் நெருங்க உதவுகின்றன. ஆம், "இந்தப் பிரச்சனைகளும் துன்பங்களும் எனக்கு ஏற்படவில்லையானால் நான் ஆண்டவரை வாழ்வில் அறிந்திருக்கமாட்டேன்" என்று பிற்காலத்தில் நீங்கள் கூறும்படியான ஒரு மிகப்பெரிய அற்புதத்தை ஆண்டவர் இயேசு இன்று உங்கள் வாழ்வில் செய்வதற்கு ஆயத்தமாய் இருக்கின்றார். ஜெப ஆலயத் தலைவனுக்குக் கூறியதுபோல இயேசு உங்களைப்பார்த்து இன்று கூறுகின்றார்,  "பயப்படாதே, விசுவாசமுள்ளவனாயிரு."

"While He was still speaking, they came from the house of the synagogue official, saying, 'Your daughter has died; why trouble the Teacher anymore?'" (Mark 5:35, NASB)

When we as humans think that everything is finished, God begins. When we think there is no longer any hope in life, God gladdens us through His mighty work, saying, "You have a life." The reason for our discouragements is that we fail to understand God's power and view everything with a narrow perspective.

Today we see many unnecessary suicides taking place in our nation. Even while preparing for the medical entrance examination, many students—boys and girls—commit suicide out of fear. After writing the exam, before the results come, many end their lives out of fear. Some die by suicide because they did not get a seat for medical studies. Yes, the cause is the narrow, ignorant, and wrong mindset that medical education alone is the superior education. The cause is the blind notion that life will be good only if one studies medicine.

In the same way, many people make the disastrous decision of suicide because of failed love, the burden of debt, incurable physical illness, fear about the future, and mental confusion. I appeal to those in such a state of mind to spend one minute and read this meditation.

A synagogue official comes to Jesus Christ, inviting Him to his house to heal his sick daughter. As Jesus goes, a woman suffering from a haemorrhage interrupts Him along the way. Because of this, His journey is delayed. At that moment, "they came from the house of the synagogue official, saying, 'Your daughter has died; why trouble the Teacher anymore?'"

Dear ones, we as humans think that with death everything is over. But God says that even though it did not work out that way, you have hope. We must wait. Even though God delays in acting, He keeps us in His remembrance; when we look to Him, He will surely give us an answer. To the synagogue official who stood grieving over his dead daughter, the Lord Jesus said, "Do not be afraid any longer, only believe" (Mark 5:36, NASB), and He went to his house and raised his dead daughter to life.

Just as the people who came from the synagogue official's house said, many today may look at us and think or say, "No good life is going to come to you anymore; everything is over." Or we ourselves may become troubled, thinking that everything in our life is finished and that we cannot survive anymore. But the Lord Jesus lovingly says, "Do not be afraid any longer, only believe."

Our problems, sufferings, and illnesses help draw us closer to Him. Yes, the Lord Jesus is ready today to do such a great miracle in your life that later you will say, "If these problems and sufferings had not come to me, I would not have known the Lord in my life." Just as He said to the synagogue official, Jesus says to you today, "Do not be afraid any longer, only believe."
