நிச்சயமான கிருபை / SURE MERCIES

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,072     💚 ஜனவரி 16, 2024 💚 செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை 💚 

"உங்கள் செவியைச் சாய்த்து, என்னிடத்தில் வாருங்கள்: கேளுங்கள், அப்பொழுது உங்கள் ஆத்துமா பிழைக்கும்; தாவீதுக்கு அருளின நிச்சயமான கிருபைகளை உங்களுக்கு நித்திய உடன்படிக்கையாக ஏற்படுத்துவேன்." ( ஏசாயா 55 : 3 )

அன்பானவர்களே, இன்றையவசனம் நாம் தேவனது வார்த்தைகளுக்கு  முற்றிலும் செவிசாய்த்து நடக்கவேண்டும் என்பதனை எடுத்துக்கூறுகின்றது. செவியைச் சாய்த்து என்னிடம் வாருங்கள் என்பது எனது  மேலான கட்டளை.

"என்னிடத்தில் வாருங்கள்: கேளுங்கள்" என்று இன்றைய வசனத்தில் நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். அதாவது நாம் முதலில் நாம் நம்மை அவருக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து அவரிடம் செல்லவேண்டும்.  ஏனெனில் தேவன் ஏற்கெனவே எழுதப்பட்ட கட்டளைகளின்படி மட்டும் எப்போதும் நம்மை நடத்துவதில்லை. மாறாக பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் மூலம் அவர் நித்தம் நம்மை நடத்துகின்றார். 

எனவே முதலில் நமது ஆவி, ஆத்துமா சரீரங்களை அவருக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து ஆவியானவர் நடத்தும் வழியில் நடக்கவேண்டும். அதுபோல   தேவ வார்த்தைகளை வாசிப்பதும் கேட்பதும் தவிர, அவைகளின்படி  நடக்கவேண்டும்.  

அப்படி நாம் நடக்கும்போது "தாவீதுக்கு அருளின நிச்சயமான கிருபைகளை உங்களுக்கு நித்திய உடன்படிக்கையாக ஏற்படுத்துவேன்." என்கிறார் கர்த்தர். தாவீதுக்கு அருளிய கிருபைதான் என்ன? அது வாக்களிக்கப்பட்ட கிறிஸ்து அவரது சந்ததியில் பிறந்தது. தாவீதின் மகன் என்று கிறிஸ்து  அழைக்கப்பட்டது தேவன் அவருக்குப் பாராட்டிய கிருபை. 

மேலும், தாவீது பல்வேறு பாவங்களை செய்தார். விபச்சாரம் அதனைத் தொடர்ந்த கொலை,  மட்டுமல்ல, மனித இரத்தத்தை அதிகம் சிந்தினார் (அதிகமான கொலைகள்). எனவே தேவனே அவர் தனக்கு ஆலயம் கட்டவேண்டாம்  என்று கட்டளையிட்டார்.  ஆனால் அப்படி இருந்தும் தேவன் அவர்மேல்கொண்ட கிருபையினை விட்டுவிடவில்லை. தாவீதை நேசித்தார். இவையெல்லாம் தாவீதுக்குத் தேவன் அருளிய கிருபைகள். 

 

இப்படி தாவீது தனது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் அழிந்திடாமல்  நித்திய கிருபையினை தேவன் அவருக்கு அளித்தார். அதே கிருபையினை உங்களுக்கும் அருள்வேன் என்கிறார் கர்த்தர். இதனையே, "இனி அவர் அழிவுக்குட்படாதபடிக்கு அவரை மரித்தோரிலிருந்து எழுப்பினார் என்பதைக் குறித்து: தாவீதுக்கு அருளின நிச்சயமான கிருபைகளை உங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிடுவேன் என்று திருவுளம் பற்றினார்." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 13 : 34 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம்.

இதனை வாசித்துவிட்டு, நாமும் தாவீதைப்போல பாவம் செய்துவிட்டு மன்னிப்பு கேட்கலாம் என்று பொருள் கொண்டுவிடக்கூடாது. மாறாக தேவ கிருபைக்கு நாம் வேண்டுதல்செய்யவேண்டும். நாம் கிருபையால்தான் இரட்சிப்பைப் பெறுகின்றோம். 

மேலும், இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் விசுவாசம் கொண்டுள்ளோம் என்று கூறி விசுவாசத்தோடு ஆலயங்களுக்கு வரும் எல்லோரும் இரட்சிப்பு எனும் மீட்பு அனுபவத்தைப் பெறுவதில்லை. தேவனது கிருபையினால்தான் நாம் அந்த அனுபவத்தைப் பெறுகின்றோம். எனவேதான் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர்,  "கிருபையினாலே விசுவாசத்தைக் கொண்டு இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டீர்கள்; இது உங்களால் உண்டானதல்ல, இது தேவனுடைய ஈவு;" ( எபேசியர் 2 : 8 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்படிவதால் மட்டும் நாம் நீதிமானாக முடியாது. கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவினால் உண்டான கிருபையினால்தான் நாம் இரட்சிப்பு அடைகின்றோம்.  "எப்படியெனில் நியாயப்பிரமாணம் மோசேயின் மூலமாய்க் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது, கிருபையும் சத்தியமும் இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் மூலமாய் உண்டாயின." ( யோவான் 1 : 17 ) எனவே நாமும், "ஆண்டவரே, தாவீதுக்கு அளித்த கிருபையினைப்போல எனக்கும் கிருபைசெய்யும் என்று வேண்டுவோம். அவரது கிருபையினால் மீட்பு அனுபவம் பெறும்போதே நாம் வெற்றியுள்ள கனிதரும் கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்க்கை வாழ முடியும்.  எனவே நாமும், "ஆண்டவரே, தாவீதுக்கு அளித்த கிருபையினைப்போல எனக்கும் கிருபைசெய்யும் என்று வேண்டுவோம்.

                  SURE MERCIES

'AATHAVAN'📖✝BIBLE MEDITATION - No:- 1,072    January 16, 2024 💚 Tuesday 💚

"Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David." ( Isaiah 55 : 3 )

Beloved, today's verse tells us that we must obey God's words and walk accordingly. Listen and come to me is God’s supreme command.

"Come unto me: hear," we read in today's verse. That means we must first surrender ourselves to Him and go to Him. Because God does not always lead us according to pre-written commandments. Rather, He guides us eternally through the Holy Spirit.

So, first of all we should surrender our spirit, soul and body to Him and walk in the way of His Spirit. Similarly, apart from reading and listening to God's words, we must act according to them. When we walk like that, " I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David." says the Lord. What is the grace given to David? It was in his seed that the promised Christ was born. That Christ was called the son of David was a grace bestowed upon him by God.

Also, David committed various sins. Not only was adultery followed by murder, more human blood was shed by him (more murders). So, God commanded him not to build a temple. But even so, God did not leave his grace. He loved David. These are all graces that God bestowed on David.

In this way, David was not destroyed in his spiritual life and God gave him eternal grace. I will give you the same grace, says the Lord. This is also mentioned, “And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.” ( Acts 13 : 34 )

After reading this, we should not think that we can sin like David and ask for forgiveness. Instead, we should pray for God's grace. We are saved by grace.

Also, not everyone who comes to churches claiming to have faith in Jesus Christ will experience salvation. It is by God's grace that we get that experience. That is why the apostle Paul said, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:" (Ephesians 2: 8) 

We cannot be righteous just by obeying the commandments. We are saved by the grace of Christ Jesus. "For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ." (John 1: 17) So we also pray, "Lord, be gracious to me as you were to David. We can live a successful Christian life when we experience salvation by His grace." So we also pray, "Lord, be gracious to me as you were to David.

தாழ்மை / HUMBLENESS

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,071     ஜனவரி 15, 2024 💚 திங்கள்கிழமை 💚 

"நித்தியவாசியும் பரிசுத்தர் என்கிற நாமமுள்ளவருமாகிய மகத்துவமும் உன்னதமுமானவர் சொல்லுகிறார்: உன்னதத்திலும் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலும் வாசம்பண்ணுகிற நான், பணிந்தவர்களின் ஆவியை உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறதற்கும், நொறுங்கினவர்களின் இருதயத்தை உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறதற்கும், நொறுங்குண்டு பணிந்த ஆவியுள்ளவர்களிடத்திலும் வாசம்பண்ணுகிறேன்." ( ஏசாயா 57 : 15 )

நமது தேவன் உன்னதத்தில் சகல மகிமையுடனும் வாழ்கின்றார். கோடானகோடி வானதூதர் சூழ, அவரது கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிய காத்துநிற்கின்றனர். பரிசுத்தர், பரிசுத்தர் என அவரைப் புகழ்ந்து பாடும் கீதம் விண்ணகத்தை நிரம்பியுள்ளது. இந்த அண்டசராரசங்களைப் படைத்து ஆண்டு வருபவர் அவர். அவரது ஆட்சி நித்தியமானது; அதற்கு முடிவே இல்லை.

ஆனால் இத்தகைய நித்திய பரிசுத்தர் கூறுகின்றார், "பணிந்தவர்களின் ஆவியை உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறதற்கும், நொறுங்கினவர்களின் இருதயத்தை உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறதற்கும், நொறுங்குண்டு பணிந்த ஆவியுள்ளவர்களிடத்திலும் வாசம்பண்ணுகிறேன்." ஆம் இதுதான் அவரது சிறப்பும் மகிமையும். மேற்கூறிய சிறப்பும் மகிமையும் கொண்ட தேவாதி தேவன் அவரால் படைக்கப்பட்ட வெறும் மண்ணான மனிதன் தன்னைத் தாழ்த்தும்போது அவனுக்குள் வந்து வசிக்க ஆரம்பிக்கின்றார். 

தேவனோடு ஒப்பிடும்போது மனிதன் பாவித்தான். ஆனால் அவர் அவனது பாவங்களையே எப்போதும் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்க மாட்டேன் என்கின்றார். அப்படிப் பார்ப்பாரானால் நாம் யாரும் அவர்முன் நிற்க முடியாது; அவரிடம் சேர முடியாது.  மட்டுமல்ல அவர் கோபமாய் எப்போதும் கோபமாய் இருப்பாரானால் மனிதர்கள்நாம் சோர்ந்துபோவோம்.  "நான் எப்போதும் வழக்காடமாட்டேன்; நான் என்றைக்கும் கோபமாயிருப்பதுமில்லை; ஏனென்றால், ஆவியும், நான் உண்டுபண்ணின ஆத்துமாக்களும், என் முகத்துக்கு முன்பாகச் சோர்ந்துபோகுமே." ( ஏசாயா 57 : 16 )

இப்படி மனிதர்கள் எல்லோருமே பரிசுத்தத்தை இழந்தவர்கள்தான். தேவனைவிட்டு தவறி இழந்துபோனவர்கள்தான். எனவே, இப்படி "இழந்துபோனதைத் தேடவும் இரட்சிக்கவுமே மனுஷகுமாரன் வந்திருக்கிறார் என்றார்." ( லுூக்கா 19 : 10 ) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறினார். எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் எப்போதும் தேவனுக்குமுன் நமது தகுதியில்லாமையை உணர்ந்தவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  

சிலவேளைகளில் இந்த உலக வாழ்வின் சோதனைகள், துன்பங்கள் நம்மை நெருக்கி சோர்வடையச் செய்யலாம். ஆனால் நாம் தாழ்மையான குணமுள்ளவர்களாக வாழும்போது தேவன் நமக்குள் வந்து நொறுங்குண்ட நமது ஆவியையும் இருதயத்தையும்  உயிர்ப்பிப்பார். எனவேதான், "பணிந்தவர்களின் ஆவியை உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறதற்கும், நொறுங்கினவர்களின் இருதயத்தை உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறதற்கும், நொறுங்குண்டு பணிந்த ஆவியுள்ளவர்களிடத்திலும் வாசம்பண்ணுகிறேன்." என்கிறார் பரிசுத்தரான கர்த்தர். 

தேவனுக்குமுன் தாழ்மையான வாழ்வு வாழ்வோம். கர்த்தர் நம்மைப் பலப்படுத்துவார்.  "அவர் அதிகமான கிருபையை அளிக்கிறாரே. ஆதலால் தேவன் பெருமையுள்ளவர்களுக்கு எதிர்த்து நிற்கிறார், தாழ்மையுள்ளவர்களுக்கோ கிருபை அளிக்கிறாரென்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறது." ( யாக்கோபு 4 : 6 )

                   HUMBLENESS

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,071 💚 January 15, 2024 💚 Monday 💚

"For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones." (Isaiah 57: 15)

Our God dwells in all glory. Surrounded by billions of angels, they wait to obey his orders. Hymns praising Him as Holy, Holy fill the sky. He is the creator of these universes. His reign is eternal; There is no end to it.

But such an eternal Holy says, "I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble” Yes, this is His excellence and glory. The aforesaid great and glorious God comes and resides in the mere dust man created by Him when he humbles himself.

Man is a sinner. But he says that he will not always look at his sins. If he sees like that, none of us can stand before him; Can't join him. And if he is angry all the time, we humans will get fainted. "For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made." (Isaiah 57: 16)

In this way, all human beings have lost their sanctity. They are those who have strayed away from God and are lost. Therefore, thus said Jesus, "The Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." (Luke 19:10) So beloved, it is necessary that we always be aware of our unworthiness before God.

Sometimes trials and tribulations of this worldly life can make us feel overwhelmed and exhausted. But when we live with humility God will come into us and revive our broken spirit and heart. That is why, "I dwell in the spirit of the contrite, the heart of the contrite, and the spirit of the contrite." Says the Holy Lord.

Let us live a humble life before God. The Lord will strengthen us. "But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble." (James 4: 6)

உன் வாலிபப் பிராயத்திலே ../ IN THY YOUTH ...

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,070     💚 ஜனவரி 02, 2024 💚 செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை 💚 

"நீ உன் வாலிபப்பிராயத்திலே உன் சிருஷ்டிகரை நினை; தீங்குநாட்கள் வராததற்குமுன்னும், எனக்குப் பிரியமானவைகளல்ல என்று நீ சொல்லும் வருஷங்கள் சேராததற்குமுன்னும்.," ( பிரசங்கி 12 : 1 )

பொதுவாக மனிதர்கள் தங்களது வயது முதிர்ந்த காலதில்தான் பக்தி காரியங்களிலும் தேவனைத் தேடுவதிலும் அதிக ஆர்வத்தைக் காட்டுவார்கள்.  உடலிலே பலமிருக்கும்போது குடும்பத்துக்காக உழைத்து சொத்து சுகங்கள் சேர்த்துவைத்துவிட்டு பலம் குறைந்த இறுதி நாட்களில் தேவனைத் தேடுவார்கள்.   ஆனால் இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுகின்றது, 'நீ உன் வாலிபப்பிராயத்திலே உன் சிருஷ்டிகரை நினை" என்று. 

பெரும்பாலானவர்கள் ஏதாவது துன்பம் நெருக்கடி வாழ்வில் ஏற்படும்போது மட்டும் தேவனைத் தேடுவார்கள். எப்படியாவது பிரச்சனையிலிருந்து விடுதலையாகவேண்டும் என்பதே அவர்கள் குறிக்கோள். இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுகின்றது, அப்படி தீங்குநாட்கள் வராததற்குமுன்னும், எனக்குப் பிரியமானவைகளல்ல என்று நீ சொல்லும் வருஷங்கள் வருவதற்கு முன்னும் உன் வாலிபப்பிராயத்திலே உன் சிருஷ்டிகரை நினை

"இவ்விதமாய் மண்ணானது தான் முன்னிருந்த பூமிக்குத் திரும்பி, ஆவி தன்னைத்தந்த தேவனிடத்திற்கு மறுபடியும் போகாததற்குமுன்னும், அவரை உன் வாலிபப்பிராயத்திலே நினை." ( பிரசங்கி 12 : 7 )

பலரும் "வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வதற்கே"  என்று கூறிக்கொண்டு தான்தோன்றித்தனமாக வாழ்கின்றனர். இளமைக்காலம் இன்பத்தை அனுபவிக்க வேண்டிய காலம் என்று எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். சென்ற நூற்றாண்டில் வாழ்ந்து மறைந்த பரிசுத்தவானாகிய சாது சுந்தர்சிங் அவர்கள்  இளமையை இன்பமாக பாவ வாழ்க்கையில் செலவழித்துவிட்டு இறுதிக்காலத்தில் தேவனைத் தேடுவதைக் குறித்துப் பின்வருமாறு கூறியுள்ளார்:-

"நன்றாகப்  பழுத்த மாம்பழத்தை  நன்கு ரசித்து ருசித்துத் தின்றுவிட்டு இறுதியில் மாங்கொட்டையில் ஒட்டியிருக்கும்  சிறிதளவு சதையினை இன்னொருவருக்கு நாம் கொடுக்க முன்வருவோமா?" ஆனால் மனிதர்கள் பலரும் இப்படியே செழுமையான தங்கள் இளமைப் பருவத்தைக்  குடும்பத்துக்காக செலவழித்து, வாழ்க்கையை நன்கு அனுபவித்துவிட்டு கொட்டையோடு ஒட்டிய சதையைக் கொடுப்பதுபோலத் தங்களது இறுதிநாட்களை தேவனுக்குக் கொடுக்க முயல்கின்றனர்."

அன்பானவர்களே, இன்றைய வசனத்தைக் கூறியுள்ள பிரசங்கி இறுதியில் 14 வது வசனத்தில் நமக்கு எச்சரிக்கைபோலக்  கூறுகின்றார், "ஒவ்வொரு கிரியையையும், அந்தரங்கமான ஒவ்வொரு காரியத்தையும், நன்மையானாலும் தீமையானாலும், தேவன் நியாயத்திலே கொண்டுவருவார்." ( பிரசங்கி 12 : 14 )

ஆம், "வாலிபத்தை தேவனற்ற வாழ்க்கையாக வாழ்ந்து பாவத்தில் உழன்று வாழ்பவர்களே, அந்தரங்கமான ஒவ்வொரு காரியத்தையும், நன்மையானாலும் தீமையானாலும், தேவன் நியாயத்திலே கொண்டுவருவார்." என்கின்றார் அவர். 

இதனை வாசிக்கும் பலருக்கும் இளமை காலம் முடிந்து நடுத்தர வயது வந்திருக்கலாம். ஆனால் இப்போதே நாம் தேவனுக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து புதிய வாழ முயலுவோம். முதுமைவரை நாம் காத்திருக்கத் தேவையில்லை. மட்டுமல்ல, நமது பிள்ளைகளையும் தேவனை அறியும் அறிவில் வளரச்  செய்வோம். இன்றைய சமுதாயச்  சூழலில், சமூக ஊடகங்கள் பாவத்துக்கு நேராக மனிதர்களை இழுக்கும் நிலைமையிலிருந்து தப்பிக்க தேவனை அறியும் அறிவில் குழந்தைகளை வளர்ப்பது நமது  முக்கியமான கடமையாகும்.  வாலிப வயதிலேயே குழந்தைகளை தேவனை அறிய வைப்போம்.

                  IN THY YOUTH

"Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;' (Ecclesiastes 12: 1)

Usually, people show more interest in devotional activities and seeking God only in their old age. When there is strength in the body, they will work for the family and accumulate wealth and pleasures, and in the last days of weakness, they will seek God. But today's verse says, 'Remember your Creator in your youth.'

Most of the people seek God only when some suffering or crisis occurs in their life. Their goal is to somehow get rid of the problem. Today's verse says, remember your Creator in your youth before such evil days come, and before the years come when you say, 'I have no pleasure in them.

"Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it." (Ecclesiastes 12: 7)

Many people claim that "life is for living" and live a life as they want. Youthful age is considered to be the time to enjoy pleasure. Sadhu Sundersingh, a saint who lived in the last century and passed away, said the following about those who spend their youthful days in pleasures, in sinful life and seek God in their last days:-

"Would we give a well-ripened mango after eating it up to the end and give it to someone else with the little bit of flesh that is stuck to the mango at the end?" But many men try to give their last days to God, having spent their rich youth in family, enjoying life well, and giving the flesh attached to the nut to God."

Beloved, the preacher who spoke today's verse warns us at the end in verse 14, "For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." (Ecclesiastes 12: 14)

Yes, "God will bring into judgment every private matter, whether good or evil, who live a godless youth and labor in sin."

Most of the people reading this may have passed their youth and reached middle age. But now we surrender ourselves to God and try to live anew. We don't need to wait for old age. Not only that, let's make our children grow in the knowledge of knowing God. In today's social environment, it is our important duty to raise children in the knowledge of God to escape from the situation where social media pulls people towards sin. Let's make children know God at an early age.

வெளிச்சமும் இரட்சிப்புமானவர் / LIGHT AND SALVATION

"கர்த்தர் என் வெளிச்சமும் என் இரட்சிப்புமானவர், யாருக்குப் பயப்படுவேன்? கர்த்தர் என் ஜீவனின் அரணானவர், யாருக்கு அஞ்சுவேன்?" ( சங்கீதம் 27 : 1 )

புதிய ஆண்டில் அடியெடுத்துவைக்கும்  அனைவரையும் கர்த்தர்தாமே கூடஇருந்து வழிநடத்துவாராக என்று வாழ்த்துவதுடன் அனைவருக்காகவும் ஜெபிக்கிறேன்.. !!

தாவீது ராஜா கூறுவதுபோல இந்த ஆண்டை நாம் உறுதியான நம்பிக்கையான வார்த்தைகளைக்கூறி ஆரம்பிப்போம். "கர்த்தர் என் வெளிச்சமும் என் இரட்சிப்புமானவர், யாருக்குப் பயப்படுவேன்? கர்த்தர் என் ஜீவனின் அரணானவர், யாருக்கு அஞ்சுவேன்?"  

கர்த்தர்தாமே நமது வெளிச்சமாக இருந்து நமது வாழ்வை இருள் சூழாதவாறு காத்துக்கொள்வார். மட்டுமல்ல, நமக்கு மிகப்பெரிய அரணாக இருந்து நம்மைப் பாதுகாத்துக்கொள்வார். 

அவரையே நாம் நம்பி இருக்கும்போது அவர் நம்மைக் கைவிடாமல் பிரச்சனைகள், துன்பங்கள் வரும்போது நம்மைத் தனது கூடாரத்தின் மறைவில் வைத்துக் காத்துக்கொள்வார். தாவீது இதனைத் தனது  நம்பிக்கை அறிக்கையாகக் கூறியதுபோல நாமும் கூறுவோம். "தீங்குநாளில் அவர் என்னைத் தம்முடைய கூடாரத்தில் மறைத்து, என்னைத் தமது கூடார மறைவிலே ஒளித்துவைத்து, என்னைக் கன்மலையின்மேல் உயர்த்துவார்." ( சங்கீதம் 27 : 5 )

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, கர்த்ததைத் தேடுபவர்களுக்கு ஒரு நன்மையையும் குறைவுபடாது என்று வேதம் கூறுகின்றது. வெளிச்சமாக, அரணாக அவர் இருக்கும்போது நாம் நம்பிக்கையுடன் தாவீது கூறியதுபோல, "என் தகப்பனும் என் தாயும் என்னைக் கைவிட்டாலும், கர்த்தர் என்னைச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளுவார்." ( சங்கீதம் 27 : 10 ) என்று கூற முடியும். 

தாவீது இந்த வசனங்களைத் தனது அனுபவத்திலிருந்து கூறுகின்றார். ஆரம்பம்முதல் தாவீதின் வாழ்க்கை நெருக்கப்படும் ஒரு வாழ்க்கையாகவே இருந்தது. சவுலினாலும், சொந்த மகனாலும் எதிரி ராஜாக்களாலும் அவர் நெருக்கப்பட்டார். மட்டுமல்ல, சரீர பலவீனத்தினால் பாவத்திலும் விழுந்தார். ஆனால், தேவன் அவரை அப்படியே விட்டுவிடவில்லை. அவரைத் தனது வெளிச்சத்தினால் பிரகாசிக்கச் செய்தார்; அரணாக இருந்து பாதுகாத்தார். 

நாமும் கர்த்தருக்கு ஏற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழ விரும்புகின்றவர்களாகவும், அவருக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பவர்களாகவும் இருக்கவேண்டும். கர்த்தருடைய வசனங்கள் அனைத்துமே மனித வாழ்க்கையுடன் தொடர்புடையன. எனவே, நமது வாழ்க்கை வசனத்துக்கு ஏற்றதாக, வசனத்துக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

நமது பழைய வாழ்கையினைப் பற்றி, நமது தவறுகள், பாவங்கள் பற்றிய கவலை நமக்கு வேண்டாம். கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டு நமது பாவங்களை அறிக்கையிடும்போது அவர் அனைத்தையும் மன்னித்து நம்மை ஒளிரச் செய்வார். ஏனெனில், "உலகத்திலே வந்து எந்த மனுஷனையும் பிரகாசிப்பிக்கிற ஒளியே அந்த மெய்யான ஒளி." ( யோவான் 1 : 9 ) என்று கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவை அப்போஸ்தலரான யோவான் நமக்கு அடையாளம் காட்டுகின்றார். எனவே நம்பிக்கையுடன் கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புவித்து புதிய ஆண்டினைத் துவங்குவோம். 

"கர்த்தர் என் வெளிச்சமும் என் இரட்சிப்புமானவர், யாருக்குப் பயப்படுவேன்? கர்த்தர் என் ஜீவனின் அரணானவர், யாருக்கு அஞ்சுவேன்?" என்று முழக்கமிடுவோம்.

             LIGHT AND SALVATION

‘AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,069                                               💚January 01, 2024 💚Monday 💚

"The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalms 27: 1)

I wish and pray for all those who step into the new year that the Lord himself will be with them and guide them.. !!

As King David says, let us begin this year with words of firm hope. "The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, whom shall I fear?"

The Lord himself will be our light and keep our lives from darkness. Not only that, but He will protect us by being our biggest fortress.

When we trust in Him, He will not abandon us and keep us in the shelter of His tent when problems and sufferings come. As David said this as his statement of faith, so will we. "For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock." (Psalms 27: 5)

Yes, dear ones, the scriptures say that those who seek the Lord do not lack any benefit. As David said, "Though my father and my mother forsake me, the Lord will take me up." (Psalm 27: 10)

David speaks these verses from his own experience. From the beginning David's life was a life of oppression. He was oppressed by Saul, his own son, and enemy kings. Not only that, he also fell into sin due to bodily weakness. But God did not leave him like that but, made him shine with his light; Protected as a fortress.

We should also be those who want to live a life worthy of God and surrender ourselves to Him. All the words of God are related to human life. Therefore, it is necessary that our life should be suitable to the verse and obey the verse.

We don't want to worry about our old life, our mistakes and sins. When we cling to the Lord Jesus Christ and confess our sins, He will forgive all and enlighten us. Because He is the true light. "That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world." (John 1: 9) Apostle John identifies Christ Jesus to us. So, let's begin the new year by entrusting ourselves to Christ with faith.

"The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the fortress of my life, whom shall I fear?" Let's chant that loudly with hope.

எல்லாவற்றுக்காகவும் நன்றி கூறுவோம் / GIVE THANKS FOR EVERYTHING

'ஆதவன்' வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,068              டிசம்பர் 31, 2023 ஞாயிற்றுகிழமை  

"கர்த்தரை துதியுங்கள்; அவர் நல்லவர், அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது. தேவாதி தேவனைத் துதியுங்கள்; அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது." ( சங்கீதம் 136 : 1, 2 )

2023  ஆம் ஆண்டின் இறுதி நாளில் வந்திருக்கின்றோம். இந்தநாளில் தேவன் நமக்குப் பல நன்மைகளைச்  செய்திருக்கலாம்; அதுபோல ஒருவேளை நாம் சில துன்பங்கள் இழப்புகளைச் சந்தித்திருக்கலாம். என்ன நடந்தாலும் நன்றி சொல்வதும் ஸ்தோத்திரம் செய்வதும் தேவனுக்கு உகந்தது. ஸ்தோத்திரம் செய்யும்போது நாம் தேவன் நமக்குச் செய்தவைகளுக்காக நன்றி கூறுகின்றோம். அவரது கிருபையால்தான் நாம் உயிர்வாழ்கின்றோம். எனவேதான் சங்கீத ஆசிரியர், "கர்த்தரை துதியுங்கள்; அவர் நல்லவர், அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது. தேவாதி தேவனைத் துதியுங்கள்; அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது." என்கின்றார்.

136 வது சங்கீதம் ஒரு துதியின் சங்கீதம். தேவன் செய்த ஒவ்வொரு செயலையும்நினைத்து நன்றிகூறும் சங்கீதம்.  இந்தச் சங்கீதம் முழுவதையும் தியான சிந்தையோடு வாசித்துப்பாருங்கள். தேவனை ஸ்தோத்தரியுங்கள். நமது வாழ்வில் ஏற்பட்ட தாழ்வு நிலையில் தேவன் நம்மோடு இருந்திருக்கின்றார். எனவே அவருக்கு நன்றி கூறுவோம். "நம்முடைய தாழ்வில் நம்மை நினைத்தவரைத் துதியுங்கள்; அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது." ( சங்கீதம் 136 : 23 )

அன்பானவர்களே, நமது துன்பங்களைப்  பெரிதுபடுத்தாமல் தேவனைத் துதித்து மகிமைப்படுத்தும்போது நமது வாழ்வில் விடுதலைக் கிடைக்கும்.  இந்த ஆண்டில் பாவங்கள், நோய்கள், பிரச்சனைகள், துன்பங்கள் போன்ற சத்துருக்களின் கையிலிருந்து அவர் நம்மை விடுத்துள்ளார். எனவேதான் நாம் இந்த வருடத்தின் இறுதிநாளைக் காண்கின்றோம். எனவே,  "நம்முடைய சத்துருக்களின் கையிலிருந்து நம்மை விடுதலைபண்ணினவரைத் துதியுங்கள்; அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது." ( சங்கீதம் 136 : 24  )

துதிக்கும்போது கட்டுக்கள் தடைகள் தகர்கின்றன. எரிகோவின் மதில்கள் துதியினால் இடிந்து விழுந்தன. சிறைச்சாலையில் தங்களது கால்கள் தொழுமரத்தில் கட்டிவைக்கப்பட்டு  துன்புறுத்தப்பட்டபோதும் பவுலும் சீலாவும் தேவனைத் துதித்தனர். அற்புதமான விடுதலையினைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டனர். 

"நடுராத்திரியிலே பவுலும் சீலாவும் ஜெபம்பண்ணி, தேவனைத் துதித்துப்பாடினார்கள்; காவலில் வைக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் அதைக் கேட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். சடிதியிலே சிறைச்சாலையின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் அசையும்படியாக பூமி மிகவும் அதிர்ந்தது; உடனே கதவுகளெல்லாம் திறவுண்டது; எல்லாருடைய கட்டுகளும் கழன்றுபோயிற்று." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 16 : 25, 26 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, நமது துன்பங்கள், பிரச்சனைகள், நோய்கள், இவற்றையேப்   பார்த்துக் கலங்கிடாமல் தேவனைத் துதிக்க ஆரம்பிப்போம். நமது வாழ்விலும் அடைக்கபட்டக் கதவுகளெல்லாம் திறவுபடும்; நம்மைக் கட்டியுள்ள எல்லாக் கட்டுகளும்  கழன்றுபோகும். 

"ஸ்தோத்திர பலியிடுகிறவன் என்னை மகிமைப்படுத்துகிறான்; தன் வழியைச் செவ்வைப்படுத்துகிறவனுக்கு தேவனுடைய இரட்சிப்பை வெளிப்படுத்துவேன் என்று சொல்லுகிறார்." ( சங்கீதம் 50 : 23 ) என வேதத்தில் வாசிக்கின்றோம். ஆம், ஸ்தோத்திரம் செய்யும்போது தேவனை நாம் மகிமைப்படுத்துகின்றோம். அத்துடன் நமது வழிகளை நாம் சீர்படுத்தும்போது தனது இரட்சிப்பை நமக்கு வெளிப்படுத்துவேன் என்கின்றார் கர்த்தர். 

ஆண்டின் இறுதிநாட்களில் தேவன் நமக்குச் செய்த நன்மைகள் நாம் அனுபவித்தத்  தீமைகள் அனைத்துக்காகவும் தேவனுக்கு நன்றி சொல்லி ஸ்தோத்திரம் செய்வதுடன் வரவிருக்கும் புத்தாண்டில் நமது வழிகளைச் சீர்படுத்தி  புதிய ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழ  நம்மை அவருக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம். கர்த்தர்தாமே வரவிருக்கும் புதிய ஆண்டில் நம்மோடு இருந்து நம்மை வழி நடத்துவாராக.

"O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever." (Psalms 136: 1,2)

We have arrived at the last day of 2023. God may have done us many favors on this year; Similarly, we may have suffered some losses. It is good to give thanks and praise to God no matter what happened. When we praise God, we thank God for what He has done for us. It is by His grace that we survive. That is why the psalmist says, “give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: Give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever."

Psalm 136 is a psalm of praise. A thanksgiving psalm for all that God has done. Read this entire Psalm with a meditative mind. Praise God. God has been with us in the low state of our lives. So, let's thank him. "Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever:" (Psalms 136: 23)

Beloved, when we praise and glorify God without exaggerating our sufferings, we find liberation in our lives. He has freed us from the hands of enemies like sins, diseases, problems and sufferings in this year. That is why we are seeing the end of this year. Therefore, praise Him "And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever." (Psalms 136: 24)

Shackles and obstacles are broken when praising. Jericho's walls crumbled with praise. Paul and Silas praised God even when their feet were tied and being tortured in prison. They got a wonderful release.

"And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed." (Acts 16: 26) we read.

So dear ones, let's start praising God instead of worrying about our sufferings, problems, diseases. All closed doors in our lives will open; All the shackles that bind us will come off.

"Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God." (Psalms 50: 23) we read in the scriptures. Yes, we glorify God when we praise. And when we mend our ways, the Lord says that He will reveal His salvation to us.

In the last day of this year, we thank God for all the good things we have received and all the bad things we have experienced. May the Lord himself be with us and guide us in the coming New  Year.

உங்கள் வழிகளைச் சிந்தித்துப்பாருங்கள் / CONSIDER YOUR WAYS

 'ஆதவன்' வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,067               டிசம்பர் 30, 2023 சனிக்கிழமை  

"முந்தின ஆலயத்தின் மகிமையைப்பார்க்கிலும், இந்தப் பிந்தின ஆலயத்தின் மகிமை பெரிதாயிருக்கும் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; இவ்விடத்திலே சமாதானத்தைக் கட்டளையிடுவேன் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் உரைக்கிறார். " ( ஆகாய் 2 : 9 )

புதிய ஏற்பாட்டின் அடிப்படையில் நமது உடலே தேவன் வாழும் ஆலயமாயிருக்கிறது. (1 கொரிந்தியர் 3:16 மற்றும் 6: 19). இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் முந்தின ஆலயம் , பிந்தின ஆலயம் எனும் வார்த்தைகளைக் காண்கின்றோம். முந்தின ஆலயம் என்பது நாம் கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்துகொள்வதற்குமுன் இருந்த ஆலயத்தையும் பிந்தின ஆலயம் என்பது நாம் கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்து ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கை வாழ ஆரம்பித்தப் பின்னுள்ள ஆலயத்தையும் குறிக்கின்றது.  

சரி, முன்னுள்ள ஆலயம் எப்படி இருந்தது? அதனை ஆகாய தீர்க்கதரிசி பின்வருமாறு கூறுகின்றார்:- "நீங்கள் திரளாய் விதைத்தும் கொஞ்சமாய் அறுத்துக்கொண்டுவருகிறீர்கள்; நீங்கள் புசித்தும் திருப்தியாகவில்லை; குடித்தும் பரிபூரணமடையவில்லை; நீங்கள் வஸ்திரம் உடுத்தியும் ஒருவனுக்கும் குளிர்விடவில்லை; கூலியைச் சம்பாதிக்கிறவன் பொத்தலான பையிலே போடுகிறவனாய் அதைச் சம்பாதிக்கிறான்.' ( ஆகாய் 1 : 6 )

கிறிஸ்து இல்லாத ஆலயம் இப்படி ஆசீர்வாதமில்லாத வாழ்க்கையாக இருந்தது. நமது வாழ்க்கை ஏன் இப்படி இருக்கின்றது என சிந்தித்து நம்மைத் திருத்திக்கொள்ள வேண்டும். எனவே, "உங்கள் வழிகளைச் சிந்தித்துப்பாருங்கள் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்." ( ஆகாய் 1 : 7 )

ஆனால் இன்று பலர் ஆசீர்வாதமில்லாத வாழ்க்கை ஏன் என்பதைச் சிந்தித்துத் தங்களைத் திருத்திக்கொள்வதை விட்டு  குறுக்கு வழிகளில் முயல்கின்றனர். கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று தங்களைக் கூறிக்கொள்ளும் பலரும்கூட ஜாதகம் , ஜோசியம் பார்க்கின்றனர். தங்கள் கைகளில் மந்திரித்த கயிறுகளைக் கட்டிக்கொள்கின்றனர். 

ஆனால் ஆகாய் மூலம் தேவன் கூறுகின்றார், "நீங்கள் மலையின்மேல் ஏறிப்போய், மரங்களை வெட்டிக்கொண்டுவந்து, ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டுங்கள்; அதன்பேரில் நான் பிரியமாயிருப்பேன், அதனால் என் மகிமை விளங்கும் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்." ( ஆகாய் 1 : 8 )

அதாவது மேற்படி ஆசீர்வாதமில்லாத முந்தின ஆலயம் சரிபடுத்தப்பட வேண்டுமானால் நாம் கல்வாரி மலையில் ஏறவேண்டும். கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் சிலுவை மரத்தைக் கொண்டு நமது உடலாகிய ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டி எழுப்பவேண்டும்.  அதன்பேரில் நான் பிரியமாயிருப்பேன், அதனால் என் மகிமை விளங்கும் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது உடலாகிய ஆலயம் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவருக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்டு மகிமையடையவேண்டும். 

அப்போது கிறிஸ்து இல்லாத முந்தின ஆலயத்தின் மகிமையைப்பார்க்கிலும், இந்தப் பிந்தின ஆலயத்தின் மகிமை பெரிதாயிருக்கும் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; மட்டுமல்ல, நமது வாழ்வில் மெய்யான சமாதானத்தைக் கட்டளையிடுவேன் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் உரைக்கிறார்.  

கல்வாரி மலையில் ஏறுவோம்; சிலுவைமரத்தைக் கொண்டு நமது உடலாகிய ஆலயத்தைத் தேவ  மகிமைவிளங்கக் கட்டுவோம்.

             CONSIDER YOUR WAYS

'AATHAVAN' BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,067                  December 30, 2023 Saturday

"The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts." (Haggai 2: 9)

According to the New Testament our body is the temple where God lives. (1 Corinthians 3:16 and 6:19). In today's meditation verse, we see the words "former house (temple)" and "later house (temple)". The former house refers to the house before we came to know Christ and the latter house refers to the house after we came to know Christ and begin to live a spiritual life. The house here refers to temple of God.

Well, what was the former temple like? The prophet Haggai says it as follows: - "Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes." (Haggai 1: 6)

A church without Christ was such a useless life. We have to think why our life is like this and correct ourselves. Therefore, "Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways." (Haggai 1: 7)

But many people today are trying shortcut ways to avoid reforming themselves and wondering why they are living an unblessed life. Even many who claim to be Christians consult horoscopes and seek fortune-tellers. They also tie enchanted ropes around their wrists.

But God says through Haggai, "Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.' (Haggai 1: 8)

That is, if we want to repair the previous temple that was without blessing, we have to climb the hill of Calvary. We must build the temple which is our body with the wood of the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ. I will delight in it, and so my glory will shine forth, says the Lord. Yes, beloved, our body, the temple, is to be glorified and surrendered to the Holy Spirit.

Then the glory of this latter temple will be greater than the glory of the former temple without Christ, says the Lord of hosts; Not only that, the Lord of hosts says that He will command true peace in our lives.

Let us climb the mountain of Calvary; Let us glorify the temple that is our body with the cross.

நோவாவும் லோத்தும் / NOVA AND LOT

 'ஆதவன்' வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,066              டிசம்பர் 29, 2023 வெள்ளிக்கிழமை 

"நோவாவின் நாட்களில் நடந்ததுபோல மனுஷகுமாரனுடைய நாட்களிலும் நடக்கும். " ( லுூக்கா 17 : 26 )

இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தனது இரண்டாம் வருகையினைக் குறித்துக் கூறும்போது இதனைச் சொல்கின்றார். அதனையே அவர், "மனுஷகுமாரனுடைய நாட்கள்" என்று குறிப்பிடுகின்றார்.  நோவாவின் நாட்களில் நடந்தது என்ன? அது பேரழிவு. உலகின் அனைத்து உயிர்களும் ஒட்டுமொத்தமாக அழிக்கப்பட்ட  பேரழிவு. அதுபோன்ற அழிவுகள் வரும் என்கிறார் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. 

நோவாவின் நாட்களில் பூமியில் அக்கிரமம் பெருகி இருந்தது. அதனால் பூமியில் தான் உருவாக்கிய மக்களை அழிக்கத்  தேவன் சித்தம் கொண்டார். ஆனால் தேவனுக்குமுன் உத்தமனாய் நடந்த நோவாவுக்கு கடவுளின் கண்ணில் தயவு கிடைத்தது. எனவே உலகினைத் தான் அழிக்கும்போது அவனையும் அவன் குடும்பத்தையும் காப்பாற்றிட மரத்தால் ஒரு பேழை செய்யுமாறு கூறுகின்றார். அதன்படி பேழையைச் செய்து நோவாவும் அவரது குடும்பத்தினரும் காப்பாற்றப்பட்டனர். 

ஆனால் நடக்கப்போவது எதுவும் தெரியாத மக்கள் இயல்பாக நடப்பதுபோல உண்டு குடித்து பெண்கொண்டு வாழ்ந்தார்கள்.  எல்லோருமே அழிந்துபோயினர். வெள்ளம் வந்தபோது அனைவருமே அழிந்துபோயினர். "நோவா பேழைக்குள் பிரவேசித்த நாள்வரைக்கும் ஜனங்கள் புசித்துக் குடித்தார்கள், பெண்கொண்டு கொடுத்தார்கள்; ஜலப்பிரளயம் வந்து எல்லாரையும் அழித்துப்போட்டது." ( லுூக்கா 17 : 27 )

நோவாவின் நாட்களைப்போலவே இன்றும் மக்கள் வாழ்கின்றனர். அன்பில்லாத மனிதர்கள், கொலைவெறிகள், கற்பழிப்புகள், களவு, காமவெறி போன்ற அவலட்சண வாழ்க்கையில் மக்கள் மூழ்கி இருப்பது தினசரி செய்தித் தாள்களை படித்தாலே புரியும். 

அன்று நோவா பேழை செய்யும்போது அதனைப் பார்த்தவர்கள் நோவா எச்சரிப்புச் செய்து கூறியதை நம்பாமல் அவரைக்  கேலி செய்திருக்கலாம். அவர்கள் அவர் கூறியதை நம்பவுமில்லை மனம் திரும்பவுமில்லை. புசித்துக் குடித்தார்கள், பெண்கொண்டு கொடுத்தார்கள், இயல்பான தங்கள் வாழ்வைத் தொடர்ந்தார்கள். 

இதுபோல, இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இன்னொரு உதாரணமும் சொல்கின்றார், "லோத்தினுடைய நாட்களில் நடந்ததுபோலவும் நடக்கும்; ஜனங்கள் புசித்தார்கள், குடித்தார்கள், கொண்டார்கள், விற்றார்கள், நட்டார்கள், கட்டினார்கள்." ( லுூக்கா 17 : 28 ) இங்கும் லோத்து தனது மருமக்களிடம் சென்று வரவிருக்கும் அழிவினைக் கூறி எச்சரித்தார். ஆனால் அவர்கள் அதனை கேலியாக எண்ணினர். ( ஆதியாகமம் 19 : 14 )

அன்பானவர்களே, இதே நிலைதான் இன்றும் தொடர்கின்றது. இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் வருகையினைப்பற்றி கூறினால் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று தங்களைக் கூறிக்கொள்பவர்கள்கூட நம்புவதில்லை, நம்பினாலும் தங்கள் குணங்களை மாற்றி தேவனிடம் உண்மையாய் மனம்திரும்பி வருவதில்லை. 

நோவா காலத்திலும் லோத்துவின் காலத்திலும் வந்த அழிவைவிடப் பெரிய அழிவு கிறிஸ்துவின் வருகைக்குமுன் வருவது உறுதி என்று வேதாகமம் கூறுகின்றது. உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப்பெறுவதற்கே முன்னுரிமைகொடுத்து நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கையினை நாம் இழந்துபோய்விடக்கூடாது.  கிறிஸ்துவின் இரண்டாம் வருகையினை முன்குறித்துக் கூறப்பட்டப் பலத்  தீர்க்கதரிசனங்கள்  நிறைவேறிவிட்டன. எனவே நாம் எச்சரிக்கையாக இருந்து மனம்திரும்பவேண்டியது அவசியம். கிறிஸ்துவின் வருகையினைப்பற்றி போதிக்கும் ஊழியர்களை கேலியாக எண்ணிடாமல்  இருப்போம். 

கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு நம்மை முற்றிலும் ஒப்படைப்பதே நாம் செய்யவேண்டடியது. பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் வழிநடத்தலுக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பதே நாம் செய்யவேண்டியது.  ஒருநாள் பெருமழை வெள்ளத்தையே தாங்கமுடியாமல் நாடு தவிக்கின்றது. கிறிஸ்துவின் வருகையின் முன் நிகழவிருக்கும் அழிவுக்கு  எப்படித் தப்பிக்கமுடியும்?  

"கர்த்தருடைய உக்கிரத்தின் நாளிலே அவர்கள் வெள்ளியும் அவர்கள் பொன்னும் அவர்களைத் தப்புவிக்கமாட்டாது; அவருடைய எரிச்சலின் அக்கினியினால் தேசமெல்லாம் அழியும்; தேசத்தின் குடிகளையெல்லாம் சடிதியாய் நிர்மூலம்பண்ணுவார்." ( செப்பனியா 1 : 18 ) என எச்சரிக்கிறார்  தேவன்.

                   NOVA AND LOT

"And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man." (Luke 17:26)

Jesus Christ says this when he speaks about his second coming. That is what he refers to as "the days of the Son of Man." What happened in the days of Noah? It was a disaster. A cataclysm in which all life in the world was destroyed. Lord Jesus Christ says that such destructions will come.

In the days of Noah, wickedness abounded on earth. So, God decided to destroy the people he had created on earth. But Noah found favor in God's eyes when he walked uprightly before God. So, he asks him to make an ark out of wood to save him and his family when he destroys the world. Noah and his family were saved by making the ark.

But people who did not know anything about what was going to happen, ate and drank and lived with women as if it were normal. All perished. When the flood came, all perished. “They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.” ( Luke 17 : 27 )

People today live like in the days of Noah. People are drowning in a life of unloving people, murders, rapes, thefts, lasciviousness, etc. Just by reading the daily newspapers, you will understand.

Those who saw Noah building the ark that day might not have believed Noah's warning and would have mocked him. They did not believe what he said and did not repent. They ate and drank, and continued their normal lives.

Similarly, Jesus Christ also tells another example, “likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded” ( Luke 17 : 28 ) Here too Lot went to his daughter-in-law and warned of the coming destruction. But they thought it was a joke. (Genesis 19:14)

Beloved, the same situation continues today. When it comes to the second coming of Jesus Christ, even those who claim to be Christians do not believe, and even if they believe, they do not change their character and truly return to God.

The Bible says that a greater destruction than that which came in the days of Noah and Lot is sure to come before the coming of Christ. We should not lose our spiritual life by giving priority to receiving worldly blessings. Many prophecies foretelling the second coming of Christ have been fulfilled. So, we need to be cautious and repent. Let us not mock who preach about the coming of Christ.

All we have to do is give ourselves completely to Christ. All we have to do is surrender ourselves to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Our country is suffering because it cannot bear the one day rain flood. How can we escape the destruction that will occur before the coming of Christ? Let us live a repentant life and pray for our descendants.

"Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land." ( Zephaniah 1 : 18 ) thus warns the Lord.

பிசாசுக்கு எதிர்த்து நில்லுங்கள் / RESIST THE DEVIL

 'ஆதவன்' வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,065              டிசம்பர் 28, 2023 வியாழக்கிழமை 

"ஆகையால், தேவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்திருங்கள்; பிசாசுக்கு எதிர்த்து நில்லுங்கள், அப்பொழுது அவன் உங்களைவிட்டு ஓடிப்போவான்." ( யாக்கோபு 4 : 7 )

இந்த உலகத்தில் பிசாசுகளைப் பற்றிய பயம் மனிதர்களுக்கு ஆதிகாலமுதல் இருந்து வருகின்றது. பலரும் பிசாசு கருப்பாக அருவெறுப்பானத் தோற்றத்தில் இருப்பான் என்று எண்ணிக்கொள்வதுடன் இரவில்தான் அவன் வருவான் என்றும் எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர்.   அதுபோல பிசாசுக்கள் நம்மைப் பயமுறுத்துபவை என்றும் மனிதர்கள் எண்ணுகின்றனர். இவை இரண்டுமே வேத அடிப்படையில்லாதவை.

பிசாசு பூரண அழகுள்ளவன் என்று வேதம் கூறுகின்றது.  தேவனோடு பரலோகத்தில் இருந்தவைதான் பிசாசுகள். "நீ விசித்திரமாய்ச் செய்யப்பட்ட முத்திரை மோதிரம்; நீ ஞானத்தால் நிறைந்தவன்; பூரண அழகுள்ளவன். நீ தேவனுடைய தோட்டமாகிய ஏதேனில் இருந்தவன்; பத்மராகம், புஷ்பராகம், வைரம், படிகப்பச்சை, கோமேதகம், யஸ்பி, இந்திரநீலம், மரகதம், மாணிக்கம் முதலான சகலவித இரத்தினங்களும் பொன்னும் உன்னை மூடிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது......." ( எசேக்கியேல் 28 : 12, 13 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

தங்களது கீழ்படியாமையால் நரகத்துக்குத் தள்ளப்பட்டவை அவை.  மேலும் நம்மைப் பயமுறுத்துவது அவைகளின் நோக்கமல்ல, மாறாக அவை இழந்துபோன பரலோக இன்பத்தை மனிதர்கள் பெற்றுவிடக்கூடாது என்பதற்காக மனிதர்களது ஆத்துமாவை பாவத்துக்குநேராக கொண்டுசெல்பவை. எனவே அவை நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வைக் கெடுக்க நம்மோடு போராடுகின்றன. 

இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "ஏனெனில், மாம்சத்தோடும் இரதத்தோடுமல்ல, துரைத்தனங்களோடும், அதிகாரங்களோடும், இப்பிரபஞ்சத்தின் அந்தகார லோகாதிபதிகளோடும், வானமண்டலங்களிலுள்ள பொல்லாத ஆவிகளின் சேனைகளோடும் நமக்குப் போராட்டம் உண்டு." ( எபேசியர் 6 : 12 ) என்று எழுதுகின்றார்.

இந்தப் பிசாசுகளை எதிர்த்துநிற்க சிலர் செய்வதுபோல தாயத்துகளையும் மணிக்கட்டில் பல்வேறு மந்திரித்தக் கயிறுகளையும் கட்டுவது கிறிஸ்தவ போதனையல்ல. இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுவதுபோல, தேவனுக்குப் பயந்த கீழ்ப்படியும் குணம் நமக்கு வேண்டும். எனவேதான் தேவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்திருங்கள்; பிசாசுக்கு எதிர்த்து நில்லுங்கள், அப்பொழுது அவன் உங்களைவிட்டு ஓடிப்போவான். என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.

மேலும், ஒரு எதிரியை நாம் எதிர்த்துச் சமாளிக்க வேண்டுமானால் நம்மிடம் அதற்கான ஆயுதங்கள் இருக்கவேண்டும். அப்போதுதான் அவன் நம்மைக் கண்டு பயந்து ஓடுவான். அந்த ஆயுதங்கள் என்ன என்பதை அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "சத்தியம் என்னும் கச்சையை உங்கள் அரையில் கட்டினவர்களாயும், நீதியென்னும் மார்க்கவசத்தைத் தரித்தவர்களாயும்; சமாதானத்தின் சுவிசேஷத்திற்குரிய ஆயத்தம் என்னும் பாதரட்சையைக் கால்களிலே தொடுத்தவர்களாயும்; பொல்லாங்கன் எய்யும் அக்கினியாஸ்திரங்களையெல்லாம் அவித்துப்போடத்தக்கதாய், எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் மேலாக விசுவாசமென்னும் கேடகத்தைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டவர்களாயும் நில்லுங்கள். இரட்சணியமென்னும், தலைச்சீராவையும். தேவவசனமாகிய ஆவியின் பட்டயத்தையும் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்." ( எபேசியர் 6 : 14 - 17 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார்.

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நம்மைப் பயமுறுத்துவதோ, இருளில் நம்மைத் துரட்டுவதோ பிசாசு எனும் சாத்தானின் நோக்கமல்ல; மாறாக நமது ஆத்துமாவை அழிப்பதே அவனது நோக்கம். எனவே, தேவனுக்குக் கீழ்படிதலுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்து, அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் கூறும் ஆயுதங்களைத் தரித்துக்கொள்வதே நாம் செய்யவேண்டியது. அப்படியிருந்து நாம்  பிசாசுக்கு எதிர்த்து நிற்கும்போது அவன் நம்மைவிட்டு ஓடிப்போவான்.

               RESIST THE DEVIL

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." (James 4: 7)

The fear of devils in this world has been with humans since the beginning of time. Many believe that the devil is black and hideous in appearance and that he comes only at night. Similarly, humans also think that devils scare us. Both of these are unscriptural.

The Bible says that the devil is perfectly beautiful. Devils are those who were in heaven with God. "Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created." ( Ezekiel 28 : 12,13 )

They were cast into hell for their disobedience. And their purpose is not to frighten us, but rather to lead men's souls to sin so that they may not receive the heavenly pleasures which they have lost. So, they fight with us to spoil our spiritual life.

This is what the apostle Paul said, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6: 12)

It is not Christian teaching to tie amulets and various enchanted cords on the wrist to resist these demons, as some do. As today's verse says, we need God-fearing obedience. Therefore, obey God; Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Also, if we are to fight an enemy, we must have the appropriate weapons. Only then will he run away in fear of us. What are those weapons, the apostle Paul said, "Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: (Ephesians 6: 14 - 17)

Yes, beloved, it is not Satan's purpose to frighten us or chase us in the dark; Instead his purpose is to destroy our souls. Therefore, what we have to do is live a life of obedience to God and put on the armor that the Apostle Paul says. So, when we resist the devil, he will flee from us.
