'ஆதவன்' 💚டிசம்பர் 23, 2024. 💚திங்கள்கிழமை

  

"......உன் கிரியைகளை அறிந்திருக்கிறேன், நீ உயிருள்ளவனென்று பெயர்கொண்டிருந்தும் செத்தவனாயிருக்கிறாய்." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 3: 1)

சர்தை சபையின் தூதனுக்கு கூறும்படி சொல்லப்பட்ட வார்த்தைகளே இன்றைய தியான வசனம். ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் நான் சிறப்பாக இருக்கிறேன் என்று கூறிக்கொள்ளும் பலரது வாழ்க்கை தேவனுக்குமுன் சிறப்பானதாக இருப்பதில்லை. அவர்கள் தங்களை உயிருள்ளவர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொண்டாலும் தேவனது பார்வையில் உயிரில்லாதவர்களே என்று இந்த வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

இதற்கான காரணத்தை அடுத்த வசனம் கூறுகின்றது, "நீ விழித்துக்கொண்டு, சாகிறதற்கேதுவாயிருக்கிறவைகளை ஸ்திரப்படுத்து; உன் கிரியைகள் தேவனுக்குமுன் நிறைவுள்ளவைகளாக நான் காணவில்லை." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 3: 2) அதாவது உனது செயல்பாடுகள் தேவனுக்குமுன் நிறைவுள்ளவைகளாகக் காணப்படவில்லை, எனவே முதலில் அவற்றைச் சீர்படுத்து  என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

கிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தத்தால் நமது பாவங்கள் கழுவப்படும்போது மட்டுமே நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய மேலான நிலைக்கு வரமுடியும். காரணம், அப்படி நமது பாவங்கள் கழுவப்படும்போது நமது மனக்கண்கள் திறக்கப்பட்டு அதுவரை நாம் பாவம் என்று எண்ணாத பல காரியங்களை பாவம் என்று ஆவியானவர் நமக்கு உணர்த்தித்தருவார். ஆம், இதனையே நாம் எபிரெயர் நிருபத்தில், "நித்திய ஆவியினாலே தம்மைத்தாமே பழுதற்ற பலியாக தேவனுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்த கிறிஸ்துவினுடைய இரத்தம் ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனுக்கு ஊழியஞ்செய்வதற்கு உங்கள் மனச்சாட்சியைச் செத்த கிரியைகளறச் சுத்திகரிப்பது எவ்வளவு நிச்சயம்!" ( எபிரெயர் 9: 14) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

கிறிஸ்துவினுடைய இரத்தம் ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனுக்கு ஊழியஞ்செய்வதற்கு நமது மனச்சாட்சியைச் செத்த கிரியைகள் நீங்கச்   சுத்திகரிக்கின்றது என்று மேற்படி வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. அதாவது கிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தம் நம்மைக் கழுவும்போது அதுவரை நாம் நம்மைக் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள்; கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு உரியவர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொண்டாலும்  நாம் கடைபிடித்துவந்த செயல்பாடுகளில்  செத்த செயல்பாடுகள் என்னென்ன என்பதை நமது மனச்சாட்சி நமக்கு படம்பிடித்துக் காட்டிவிடும். அவற்றை கழுவி நம்மைச் சுத்திகரிக்கும். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது செயல்பாடுகளில் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடையவைகள் எவையெவை என்பதனை அறிய நாம் நமது பாவங்கள் கழுவப்பட்டு ஒப்புரவாகவேண்டியது அவசியம். அப்படி கழுவப்படவில்லையானால் நாம் நமது பாவங்களை உணராமல் இருப்போம். நமது பல பாவங்களை உணரமாட்டோம். அப்படி வாழ்வது நம்மை நாமே வஞ்சிப்பதாகும்.  "நமக்குப் பாவமில்லையென்போமானால், நம்மை நாமே வஞ்சிக்கிறவர்களாய் இருப்போம், சத்தியம் நமக்குள் இராது." (1 யோவான் 1:8) 

நாம் உயிருள்ளவர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொண்டால் போதாது உண்மையிலேயே உயிருள்ளவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டும். அதற்கு முதல்படியாக நமது பாவங்களை கிறிஸ்துவிடம் அறிக்கையிட்டு அவரது இரத்தத்தால் கழுவப்படும் அனுபவத்தைப் பெறவேண்டும். "நம்முடைய பாவங்களை நாம் அறிக்கையிட்டால், பாவங்களை நமக்கு மன்னித்து எல்லா அநியாயத்தையும் நீக்கி நம்மைச் சுத்திகரிப்பதற்கு அவர் உண்மையும் நீதியும் உள்ளவராயிருக்கிறார்." (1 யோவான் 1:9)

உண்மையான மனதுடன் மேலான இந்த அனுபவத்தைப் பெற தேவனிடம் வேண்டுவோம். "அன்பான இயேசுவே எனது பாவங்கள், மீறுதல்களை நான் உணர்ந்திருக்கிறேன். உமக்கு பிரியமில்லாத பல பாவ காரியங்களில் ஈடுபட்டு வாழ்ந்துள்ளேன் குறிப்பாக (குறிப்பிட்ட பாவங்களை இங்கு அறிக்கையிடவும்) என்னை உமது பரிசுத்த இரத்தத்தால் கழுவி சுத்திகரியும். உமது மீட்பை நான் காணவும் மறுபடி பிறக்கும் மேலான அனுபவத்தை நான் அனுபவித்து மகிழவும் கிருபை செய்யும்.  என்னைத் தாழ்த்தி உமக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கிறேன்.  இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் நாமத்தில் ஜெபிக்கிறேன் ஜீவனுள்ள நல்ல பிதாவே ஆமென்".

Scripture Meditation - No. 1,415

AATHAVAN 💚December 23, 2024. 💚Monday

"...I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead." 

Revelation 3:1, KJV)

The words addressed to the angel of the church in Sardis are the meditation verses for today. Many claim to live a life that is pleasing to the Spirit and say that they are in a good standing with God, yet their lives do not reflect that before Him. While they profess to be alive, in God's sight, they are spiritually dead. This is the message revealed in this verse.

The reason for this is given in the next verse: "Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God." (Revelation 3:2, KJV). This means that their deeds were not complete or satisfactory in God's eyes, and the call is to first set things in order before they are lost.

Only when our sins are washed away by the blood of Christ can we rise to a higher spiritual level. This happens because when our sins are forgiven, our spiritual eyes are opened, and many actions we previously did without realizing their sinfulness are shown to us by the Holy Spirit. We read about this in Hebrews: "How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?" (Hebrews 9:14, KJV).

The blood of Christ purifies our conscience from dead works and enables us to serve the living God. This means that when the blood of Christ washes us, the Holy Spirit reveals to us the dead works we have been practicing, even when we considered ourselves to be faithful followers of Christ. These works are shown to be dead and are cleansed by His blood.

Indeed, beloved, to know what actions are pleasing to God, we must first have our sins forgiven. Without this cleansing, we will not be able to recognize our sins. "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." (1 John 1:8, KJV).

It is not enough to claim we are alive; we must truly be alive in the Spirit. The first step is to confess our sins to Christ and experience the cleansing of His blood. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9, KJV).

Let us sincerely seek this higher experience and cleanse ourselves through the precious blood of Jesus. "Dear Jesus, I confess my sins and transgressions. I have lived in many sinful ways that are not pleasing to You, particularly (mention specific sins here). Cleanse me with Your holy blood and restore me. I seek the experience of Your salvation and rebirth. I humble myself and surrender to You. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, living Father,  Amen."

Bible Verses for Meditation மத்தேயு 7: 10 / Matthew 7:10

'ஆதவன்' டிசம்பர் 22, 2024. 💚ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை

"மீனைக் கேட்டால் அவனுக்குப் பாம்பைக் கொடுப்பானா?" ( மத்தேயு 7: 10)

தன்னிடம் கேட்பவர்களுக்கு நன்மையானவற்றையே கொடுப்பது தேவனது குணமாகும். எந்த ஒரு தகப்பனும் தாயும் எப்படி தனது பிள்ளைகளுக்குக்  கேடானவற்றைக் கொடுப்பதில்லையோ அதுபோலவே தேவனும் எந்த நிலையிலும் நமக்குக் கேடுண்டாக்கும் எதனையும் கொடுப்பதில்லை.  இதனையே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "ஆகையால், பொல்லாதவர்களாகிய நீங்கள் உங்கள் பிள்ளைகளுக்கு நல்ல ஈவுகளைக் கொடுக்க அறிந்திருக்கும்போது, பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற உங்கள் பிதா தம்மிடத்தில் வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களுக்கு நன்மையானவைகளைக் கொடுப்பது அதிக நிச்சயம் அல்லவா?" ( மத்தேயு 7: 11) என்று கூறினார். 

மீனையும் பாம்பையும் அவர் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் உவமையாகக் கூறுகின்றார். காரணம், மீன் ஆசீர்வாதத்தின் அடையாளம். ஐந்துமீனை அவர் ஐயாயிரம் மக்களுக்கு உணவாகக் கொடுத்தாரே. ஆனால் பாம்பு சாபத்தின் அடையாளம். அது ஆதியில் ஏதேன் தோட்டத்தில் தேவனால் சபிக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு உயிரினம்.  எனவே தேவன் தன்னிடம் கேட்பவர்களுக்கு ஆசீர்வாதத்தினைக் கொடுப்பாரேத் தவிர சாபத்தைக் கொடுக்கமாட்டார்.  

ஆனால் இன்று மனிதர்கள் நாம் நமது பிள்ளைகளுக்கு நன்மையானவற்றைக் கொடுக்கிறோம் என்று எண்ணிக்கொண்டு சில வேளைகளில்  தீமையானவற்றைக் கொடுத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றோம். சிலவேளைகளில்  பெற்றோர்கள் தங்கள் சிறு குழந்தைகள் ஆசையுடன் கேட்பதால் செல்போனைக்  கொடுத்து விளையாடவைக்கின்றனர். குழந்தைகளுக்கு உடலிலும் மனதிலும் இது ஏற்படுத்தும் பல்வேறு பாதிப்புகளை அவர்கள் எண்ணிப்பார்ப்பதில்லை. இப்படிச் செய்வது மீனுக்குப்பதில் பாம்பைக் கொடுப்பது போன்ற செயலாகும்.  

இதுபோலவே நாம் தேவனிடம் கேட்கும் பல காரியங்கள் நமக்குத் தீமை வருவிப்பவனவாக இருக்கக்கூடும். எனவே தேவன் அவற்றை நமக்குத் தராமல் இருக்கலாம். அல்லது இப்போதைக்கு இது தேவையில்லை என்று கருதி அதனைக் கொடுக்காமல் இருக்கலாம். ஆனால் ஏற்ற காலத்தில் நாம் விரும்பியதைக் கொடுப்பதே தேவனின் செயலாக இருக்கின்றது. 

நாம் மேலே பார்த்த செல்போன் உதாரணத்தை வைத்தே இதனை விளக்கலாம். ஒரு ஐந்து அல்லது ஆறு வயது குழந்தைக்கு செல்போன் தேவையில்லாதது. அந்த வயதில் அக்குழந்தை கேட்டாலும் நாம் வாங்கிக் கொடுப்பதில்லை.  ஆனால் இன்றைய காலச் சூழ்நிலையில் கல்லூரி படிக்கும் மாணவர்களுக்கு அது தேவையாக இருக்கின்றது. அப்போது நாம் நமது பிள்ளைகளுக்கு அதனை வாங்கிக் கொடுக்கின்றோம். இதுபோலவே தேவன் காலம், நேரம்,  சூழ்நிலை கருதி நமது விண்ணப்பத்துக்குப் பதிலளிக்கின்றார். 

அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் தேவனிடம் எதனையாவது கேட்கும்போது நாமே நம்மை நிதானித்துப் பார்ப்போமானால் நமது விண்ணப்பங்கள் தேவனால் கேட்கப்படாமல் இருக்கும்போது மனமடியமாட்டோம்.  நமது தேவன் மீனைக் கேட்டால் அதற்குப் பதிலாக பாம்பைக் கொடுக்கும் கொடூர குணமுள்ளவரல்ல. ஏற்ற காலத்தில் ஏற்றவைகளைக்கொடுத்து நம்மை அவர் ஆசீர்வதிப்பார். எனவே தேவனுக்கு ஏற்றகாலம் வரும்வரைப் பொறுமையாக நமது விண்ணப்பங்கள் நிறைவேறக் காத்திருப்போம். 

"கர்த்தரின் ஆசீர்வாதமே ஐசுவரியத்தைத் தரும்; அதனோடே அவர் வேதனையைக் கூட்டார்." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 10: 22)

"Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?" (Matthew 7:10, KJV)

It is in God’s nature to give only good things to those who ask Him. Just as no father or mother would knowingly give something harmful to their children, in the same way, God will never give us anything that will bring harm to us. Jesus Christ affirms this truth, saying, “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” (Matthew 7:11, KJV).

In today’s scripture verse, Jesus uses fish and serpent as metaphors. Fish is a symbol of blessing. Remember, He fed five thousand people with five loaves and two fish. On the other hand, a serpent symbolizes a curse. The serpent is the creature that was cursed by God in the Garden of Eden. Thus, God, who gives blessings to those who ask, will never give anything cursed or harmful.

However, today many people, thinking they are giving good things to their children, unintentionally provide harmful things. For instance, some parents give mobile phones to their young children because they ask for it with great desire. But parents fail to consider the harmful effects such gadgets can have on their children’s physical and mental health. In such cases, it is like giving a serpent instead of a fish.

Similarly, many of the things we ask God for may not actually be good for us. Therefore, God may withhold them for our benefit. Sometimes He knows that the time is not yet right and chooses not to give us what we ask for immediately. But at the appropriate time, God will provide what is truly good for us.

Let me use the mobile phone example again to explain this. For a five or six-year-old child, a mobile phone is unnecessary. Even if they ask, we will not buy it for them. However, in today’s context, mobile phones are essential for college students, and we are willing to give it to them. In the same way, God answers our prayers according to the right time, place, and circumstance.

Beloved, when we ask God for something, if we take a moment to reflect on our requests, we will not feel discouraged when our prayers seem unanswered. Our God is not cruel to give a serpent when we ask for a fish. At the right time, He will give us what we need and bless us abundantly.

“The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.” (Proverbs 10:22, KJV)

God's Words - 1 Peter 5:6 / 1 பேதுரு 5: 6

'ஆதவன்' 💚டிசம்பர் 21, 2024. 💚சனிக்கிழமை

"ஆகையால், ஏற்றகாலத்திலே தேவன் உங்களை உயர்த்தும்படிக்கு, அவருடைய பலத்த கைக்குள் அடங்கியிருங்கள். " (1 பேதுரு 5: 6)

பலரது வாழ்வில் தேவனுடைய ஆசீர்வாதத்தினை அவர்கள்  பெறுவதற்குத் தடையாக இருப்பது அவர்களது அவசர புத்தியும் அவசர எண்ணங்களும்தான். பொதுவாகவே மனிதர்கள் நாம் நமது செயல்களுக்கு உடனடியாக தேவனிடமிருந்து ஏற்ற பிரதிபலன் வரவேண்டுமென்று எண்ணுகின்றோம். "நான் தேவனுக்காக எவ்வளவோ செயல்கள் செய்கின்றேன் ஆனால் எனக்கு அவர் ஏற்ற பதிலைத் தரவில்லை; கைமாறு செய்யவில்லை" என்று எண்ணுகின்றோம். ஆனால் அப்படி எண்ணுவது தவறு. தேவனுக்கு ஏற்ற காலம் ஒன்று உண்டு. அந்தக்காலம் வரும்வரை நாம் காத்திருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

தேவனுடைய கை வல்லமை மிக்கது. எனவே  அவருடைய பலத்த கைகளுக்குள் நாம் பொறுமையோடு அடங்கி இருக்கவேண்டும் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. பலரும் தேவனிடம் ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்காக ஜெபிக்கின்றனர்; ஆனால் தேவ ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெறுவதற்குப் பொறுமையாகக் காத்திருக்காமல் சுயமாகச்  சில குறுக்கு வழிகளைக் கையாண்டு வெற்றிபெற முயலுகின்றனர். எனவே பலவேளைகளில் மேலான தேவ ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெறமுடியாமல் போய்விடுகின்றனர். 

தேவ கரங்களுக்குள் அடங்கி இருப்பதை நாம் முட்டைக்குள் அடங்கி இருக்கும் கோழிக்குஞ்சுக்கு ஒப்பிடலாம். தாய்க்கோழியின் உடல் வெப்பத்தைப் பெற்று அது முழு வளர்ச்சியைப் பெற அடங்கி 21 நாட்கள்  காத்திருக்கவேண்டும். அதுபோலவே நாமும் நம்மை தேவ கரத்துக்குள் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து அடங்கி இருந்து அனலடைந்து வளர்ச்சிபெறவேண்டியது அவசியம். இதுபோலவே வண்ணத்துப் பூச்சியின் வாழ்க்கையும் இருக்கின்றது.  அது புழுவாக இருந்து, கூட்டுப் புழுவாக மாறி அந்தக் கூட்டுக்குள் அடங்கி இருந்தால்தான் அழகிய பட்டாம்பூச்சியாக மாறி வானில் சிறகடித்துப் பறக்க முடியும். 

நமது உலக வாழ்க்கையிலும்கூட  நாம் ஒரு மருத்துவராகவோ பொறியாளராகவோ மாறவேண்டுமானால் எத்தனை ஆண்டுகள் பொறுமையாகக் காத்திருந்து படிக்கின்றோம்?. ஆனால் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கை என்று வரும்போது நாம் தேவனிடம் அவசரப்படுகின்றோம். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, ஏற்றகாலத்திலே தேவன் நம்மை உயர்த்தும்படிக்கு, அவருடைய பலத்த கைக்குள் நாம் பொறுமையாக அடங்கியிருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம்.

பன்னிரண்டு வயதிலேயே இயேசு ஞானத்தில் தேறினவராக இருந்தாலும் அவர் பிதாவாகிய தேவன் தனக்குக் குறித்த காலம் வரும்வரை நாசரேத்தூரில் சென்று தாய்தந்தையருக்கு கீழ்ப்படிந்து பொறுமையாகக் காத்திருந்தார். "பின்பு அவர் அவர்களுடனே கூடப்போய், நாசரேத்தூரில் சேர்ந்து, அவர்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்திருந்தார்." ( லுூக்கா 2: 51) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். மட்டுமல்ல, சிலுவை மரணம்வரை அவர் பிதாவுக்கு கீழ்ப்படிந்து அடங்கியிருந்தார். "அவர் மனுஷரூபமாய்க் காணப்பட்டு, மரணபரியந்தம், அதாவது சிலுவையின் மரணபரியந்தமும் கீழ்ப்படிந்தவராகி, தம்மைத்தாமே தாழ்த்தினார்." ( பிலிப்பியர் 2: 8)

இப்படி அவர் தன்னைத் தாழ்த்தி அடங்கி இருந்ததால் பிதாவாகிய தேவன் அவரை எல்லாருக்குமேலாக உயர்த்தி, அனைவரது கால்களையும் அவருக்குமுன் முடங்கும்படியான மாட்சியை அவருக்குக் கொடுத்தார் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. எனவே நாமே நம்மை உயர்த்தாமல் தேவன் நம்மை உயர்த்தும் காலம் வரும்வரை பொறுமையாக அவரது பலத்தக் கைகளுக்குள் அடங்கியிருப்போம். அடங்கி இருப்பது அவமானமல்ல; அது வெற்றிக்காக தேவன் குறித்துள்ள ஒரு மேலான யுக்தி.

Scripture Meditation - No. 1,413

"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time." (1 Peter 5:6, KJV)

In many lives, impatience and hurried thinking often stand as barriers to receiving God’s blessings. Humans tend to expect immediate responses from God for their actions. We may think, “I’ve done so much for God, yet He hasn’t given me the response or reward I deserve.” However, this mindset is incorrect. Today’s scripture reminds us that God has an appointed time for everything. Until that time comes, we must patiently wait.

The mighty hand of God is powerful, and we are instructed to submit ourselves patiently under His hand. Many pray for God’s blessings but fail to wait patiently. Instead, they seek shortcuts to achieve success on their own, often missing out on greater blessings that God had planned for them.

Being under God’s hand can be compared to a chick inside an egg. It waits for 21 days under the warmth of the mother hen, growing fully before breaking out of the shell. Similarly, we must submit ourselves to God’s hand, remain patient, and allow Him to refine and develop us. A butterfly’s life also mirrors this process. It begins as a caterpillar, transforms into a cocoon, and only after a period of waiting does it emerge as a beautiful butterfly, soaring high in the sky.

Even in our worldly pursuits, such as becoming a doctor or engineer, we spend years patiently studying and preparing. Yet, when it comes to spiritual growth, we often grow impatient with God. Beloved, we must humble ourselves under God’s mighty hand and wait for Him to lift us at the right time.

At the age of twelve, Jesus was already filled with wisdom, but He submitted Himself to the will of the Father and waited patiently in Nazareth, being obedient to His earthly parents. As it is written: "And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them." (Luke 2:51, KJV)

Not only this, but Jesus humbled Himself and was obedient unto death, even the death of the cross: "And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross." (Philippians 2:8, KJV)

Because of His humility and submission, the Father exalted Him above all, giving Him a name above every name, and authority over all creation. Therefore, let us not strive to exalt ourselves but wait patiently under the mighty hand of God, trusting Him to lift us in due time. Submission is not humiliation; it is God’s higher strategy for success.

'ஆதவன்' 💚டிசம்பர் 20, 2024. 💚வெள்ளிக்கிழமை

"கிறிஸ்துவின் வசனம் உங்களுக்குள்ளே சகல ஞானத்தோடும் பரிபூரணமாக வாசமாயிருப்பதாக; " ( கொலோசெயர் 3: 16)

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நாம் கிறிஸ்துவின் வசனத்தில் தேறினவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டியதன் அவசியத்தை விளக்குகின்றது. இன்றைய தியான வசனம் வெறுமனே, "கிறிஸ்துவின் வசனம் உங்களுக்குள்ளே வாசமாயிருப்பதாக" என்று கூறாமல், "சகல ஞானத்தோடும் பரிபூரணமாக வாசமாயிருப்பதாக" என்று கூறுகின்றது. 

நாம் வேதாகமம் மூலம் வேத வசனங்களை வாசிப்பது மட்டும்போதாது அந்த வசனங்களை அவை கூறும் சரியான பொருள் உணர்ந்து பூரணமாக நாம் அறிந்தவர்களாகவும் அதன்படி வாழ்பவர்களாகவும்  இருக்கவேண்டும். அதாவது அவரது வசனம் நமக்குள் நிலைத்திருக்கவேண்டும். "நீங்கள் என்னிலும், என் வார்த்தைகள் உங்களிலும் நிலைத்திருந்தால், நீங்கள் கேட்டுக்கொள்ளுவதெதுவோ அது உங்களுக்குச் செய்யப்படும்." ( யோவான் 15: 7) என்று கூறவில்லையா? 

மேலும், நாம் தேவனுடைய வசனத்தில் தேறினவர்களாக இருந்தால் மட்டுமே மற்றவர்களுக்கு தேவனைப்பற்றி தெளிவாக அறிவிக்கவும் நம்மிடம் விளக்கங்களைக் கேட்பவர்களுக்கு ஏற்ற பதிலையும் கொடுக்க முடியும். எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலராகிய பவுல்,  "அவனவனுக்கு இன்னின்னபடி உத்தரவு சொல்லவேண்டுமென்று நீங்கள் அறியும்படிக்கு, உங்கள் வசனம் எப்பொழுதும் கிருபை பொருந்தினதாயும் உப்பால் சாரமேறினதாயுமிருப்பதாக." ( கொலோசெயர் 4: 6) என்று நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றார்.

தேவனுடைய வசனங்களுக்குச் சரியான விளக்கங்கள் நமக்குக் கிடைக்கவேண்டுமானால் நாம் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் விளக்கத்தைப் பெறுவதற்கே முன்னுரிமை கொடுக்கவேண்டும். காரணம், வேத வசனங்கள் ஆவியானவரால் அருளப்பட்டவை. அவரே அவற்றுக்கான சரியான பொருளை நமக்குக் கொடுக்க முடியும். இப்படி ஆவியானவரின் துணையோடு வேத வசனங்களை நாம் அறியும்போதுதான்  அது நமக்குள்ளே  சகல ஞானத்தோடும் பரிபூரணமாகவும் செயல்படும்.   

ஒரே தேவ வார்த்தை பல்வேறு சமயங்களில் பல்வேறு வித உணர்த்துதல்களை நமக்குத் தருவதற்கு வல்லமையுள்ளது. எனவேதான் வேத வார்த்தைகள் உயிருள்ளவையாக இருக்கின்றன. சுமார் நாலாயிரம் ஐயாயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்குமுன் வாழ்ந்த பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்குக் கூறப்பட்ட வார்த்தைகள் இன்றும் நமக்கு  வழிகாட்டுவனவாக நமக்கு இக்கட்டான நேரங்களில் ஆறுதல் கூறுவனவாக உள்ளதை நாம் பலவேளைகளில் உணரலாம். அந்த ஜீவனுள்ள  வார்த்தைகளே நமது ஆத்துமாவை உயிர்ப்பிக்கின்றது.  "உமது வேதம் என் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிராதிருந்தால், என் துக்கத்திலே அழிந்துபோயிருப்பேன். நான் ஒருபோதும் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை மறக்கமாட்டேன்; அவைகளால் நீர் என்னை உயிர்ப்பித்தீர்." ( சங்கீதம் 119: 92, 93)

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, கிறிஸ்துவின் வசனம் நமக்குள்ளே சகல ஞானத்தோடும் பரிபூரணமாக இருக்குமானால் எந்த எதிர்மறையான சூழலும் நம்மைப் பாதிக்காது.  நாமும் சங்கீத ஆசிரியர் கூறுவதுபோல "நான் ஒருபோதும் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை மறக்கமாட்டேன்; அவைகளால் நீர் என்னை உயிர்ப்பித்தீர்." என அறிக்கையிட்டு வாழ்பவர்களாக இருப்போம்.

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom." (Colossians 3:16)

The verse for today's meditation emphasizes the necessity of being rooted in the Word of Christ. It doesn’t simply say, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you," but adds the significant phrase, "richly in all wisdom."

Reading Scripture is not enough; we must also understand its intended meaning and allow it to transform us fully. This means the Word must remain in us consistently. As Jesus said, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." (John 15:7)

Only when we are grounded in God's Word can we clearly proclaim Him to others and answer those who seek explanations about our faith. This is why Apostle Paul advises, "Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man." (Colossians 4:6)

To gain a correct understanding of God’s Word, we must prioritize receiving enlightenment from the Holy Spirit, as He alone can reveal the true meaning of Scripture. The Bible, being God-inspired, works powerfully when studied under the guidance of the Spirit.

God's Word has the ability to provide different insights at different times, relevant to our circumstances. That’s why the Word of God is described as living and active. Words spoken to saints thousands of years ago still comfort and guide us today. The living Word revives our souls. As the Psalmist says:

"Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction. I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me." (Psalm 119:92-93)

Yes, dear believers, when the Word of Christ dwells in us richly in all wisdom, no adverse situation can harm us. Like the Psalmist, we too will declare: "I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me."

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,411

'ஆதவன்' 💚டிசம்பர் 19, 2024. 💚வியாழக்கிழமை

"அவர் பெருகவும் நான் சிறுகவும் வேண்டும்." ( யோவான் 3: 30)

மெய்யான ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வின் இலக்கணத்தை யோவான் ஸ்நானகன் ஒரே வரியில் கூறிவிட்டார். அதுவே இன்றைய தியான வசனம், "அவர் பெருகவும் நான் சிறுகவும் வேண்டும்" என்பது. 

ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் நாம் வளர்கின்றோம் என்பதனை உறுதிப்படுத்தும் அளவுகோல் இதுதான். நாளுக்குநாள் நம்மில் கிறிஸ்து பெருகவேண்டும். அதே வேளையில் "நான்" எனும் அகந்தை சிறுகவேண்டும். இன்று மெரும்பாலான மக்கள் பல்வேறு பக்தி முயற்சிகளிலும் ஈடுபட்டிருந்தாலும் தேவனைத் தனிப்பட்ட முறையில் அறியாமலிருக்கக் காரணம் "நான்" எனும் அகந்தையே. 

அன்பானவர்களே, நம்மிடம் பணம், புகழ், அதிகாரம் இருக்கும்போதும் நாம் மற்றவர்களை மதித்து நடப்போமானால் நாம் சிறுக ஆரம்பித்துள்ளோம் என்று பொருள். அதாவது நமது ஆணவம் குறைந்துள்ளது என்று பொருள். அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் அதிகம் படித்தவர்தான் ஆனால் அவர் எல்லோரிடமும் ஒரேவிதமாகப் பழகினார், எல்லோரையும் அன்புச்செய்தார். "ஆகிலும், எனக்கு லாபமாயிருந்தவைகளெவைகளோ அவைகளைக் கிறிஸ்துவுக்காக நஷ்டமென்று எண்ணினேன். அதுமாத்திரமல்ல, என் கர்த்தராகிய கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவை அறிகிற அறிவின்மேன்மைக்காக எல்லாவற்றையும் நஷ்டமென்று எண்ணிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்." ( பிலிப்பியர் 3: 7, 8) என்று தனக்குரிய மேன்மைகளை நஷ்டமென்று கருதினார். 

அதாவது, கிறிஸ்துவை இன்னும் அறியவேண்டும் என்பதற்காக எனக்கு உள்ளவைகளை நஷ்டமென்று எண்ணுகின்றேன் என்கிறார் அவர். இங்கு யோவான் ஸ்நானகன் கூறிய கருத்தையே தனது வாழ்க்கை  அனுபவமாக்கிக் கூறுகின்றார். 

ஆனால் பெரும்பாலான மக்கள் இந்த மனநிலைக்குத் தங்களை உட்படுத்திக்கொள்ளத்  தயாராக இல்லை. ஒரு ஆலயத்தில் நான் செல்லும்போது அடிக்கடிக் காணக்கூடியது காட்சி அங்கிருந்த மின்விசிறியில் பதித்திருக்கும் பெயர்கள். நான்கு இறக்கைகளைக் கொண்ட அந்த மின்விசிறியில் அதனை அன்பளிப்பாக அளித்த குடும்பத்து உறுப்பினர்களது பெயர்கள் ஒவ்வொரு இறக்கையிலும் ஒரு பெயராகப் பொறிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதாவது இது இன்றைய தியான வசனத்துக்கு நேர் மாறாக, "நான் பெருகவும் அவர் சிறுகவும் வேண்டும்" என உள்ளது. 

"அவர் அதிகமான கிருபையை அளிக்கிறாரே. ஆதலால் தேவன் பெருமையுள்ளவர்களுக்கு எதிர்த்து நிற்கிறார், தாழ்மையுள்ளவர்களுக்கோ கிருபை அளிக்கிறாரென்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறது." ( யாக்கோபு 4: 6) என்கின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான யாக்கோபு. 

சாதாரண விசுவாசிமுதல் எவ்வளவு பெரிய ஊழியனாக இருந்தாலும், நான் எனும் ஆணவம் குறைந்துபோகும்போது மட்டுமே  கிறிஸ்து ஒருவரில் பெருக முடியும்; ஆவிக்குரிய மேலான நிலைமைக்கு வர முடியும்.  காரணம், அவர் அதிகமான கிருபையை அளிக்கிறாரே. ஆதலால் பெருமையுள்ளவர்களுக்கு அவர்  எதிர்த்து நிற்கிறார், தாழ்மையுள்ளவர்களுக்கோ கிருபை அளிக்கிறார். எனவே நம்மில் அவர் பெருகவும் நாம் சிறுகவும் இடம்தரவேண்டியது அவசியம். தேவ கிருபை அப்போதுதான் நம்மை நிரப்ப முடியும்.

Bible Meditation - No. 1,411

"He must increase, but I must decrease." (John 3:30)

In a single line, John the Baptist encapsulated the essence of true spiritual life. Today's meditation verse, "He must increase, but I must decrease," reveals this profound truth.

The hallmark of growth in the spiritual journey is this: Christ must increase in us daily, and simultaneously, our ego—our "self"—must diminish. Many people, despite engaging in various acts of devotion, fail to know God personally because of their pride, their insistent "I."

Beloved friends, possessing wealth, fame, or authority is not wrong. But if we respect and value others regardless of our position, it signifies that we are beginning to "decrease." It means our pride is diminishing. The Apostle Paul, an erudite scholar, treated everyone with equal love and kindness. He testified:

"But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord." (Philippians 3:7-8)

Paul considered his personal achievements as loss to gain the knowledge of Christ. He echoes the same truth John the Baptist proclaimed, applying it to his own life experience.

Sadly, many are unwilling to adopt this mindset. In a church I frequently visit, I often notice fans inscribed with names on their blades—each blade bearing the name of a family member who donated it. This practice starkly opposes today's meditation verse; it declares, "I must increase, and He must decrease."

The Apostle James reminds us: "But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble." (James 4:6)

From ordinary believers to prominent ministers, Christ can increase within us only when our pride diminishes. This is the pathway to higher spiritual maturity. God bestows His abundant grace on the humble while resisting the proud.

Therefore, we must create space for Christ to increase in us by letting go of our ego. Only then can God’s grace fill us abundantly.

"இப்படியிருக்க, முக்கியமான வரங்களை நாடுங்கள்; இன்னும் அதிக மேன்மையான வழியையும் உங்களுக்குக் காண்பிக்கிறேன்." (1 கொரிந்தியர் 12: 31)

ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கை என்பது வேதாகமத்தை வாசிப்பதிலும் ஜெபங்களைச்  செய்வதிலும் ஆவிக்குரிய கூட்டங்களில் கலந்துகொள்வதிலும் மட்டும் நின்றுவிடுவதல்ல, மாறாக தேவன் வழங்குகின்ற ஆவிக்குரிய வரங்களை வாழ்வில் பெற்று அதன்மூலம் மற்றவர்களை கிறிஸ்துவின் பாதைக்கு வழிநடத்துவதிலும் இருக்கின்றது. மட்டுமல்ல இதற்கு மேலும் சில காரியங்கள் உள்ளன. எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் "இன்னும் அதிக மேன்மையான வழியையும் உங்களுக்குக் காண்பிக்கிறேன்" என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

கொரிந்தியருக்கு எழுதிய நிருபத்தில் அவர், ஞானத்தைப் போதிக்கும் வசனம், அறிவை உணர்த்தும் வசனம், விசுவாசம், குணமாக்கும் வரங்கள், அற்புதங்களைச் செய்யும் சக்தி, தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைத்தல், ஆவிகளைப் பகுத்தறிதல், பற்பல பாஷைகளைப் பேசுதல், பாஷைகளை வியாக்கியானம்பண்ணுதல் (1 கொரிந்தியர் 12: 8 -10) என ஆவிக்குரிய ஒன்பது வரங்களைக் குறிப்பிடுகின்றார்.  இவற்றில் முக்கியமான வரங்களை நாம் பெற ஆசைகொள்ளவேண்டும் என்கின்றார். 

கிறிஸ்தவர்களில் பலரும் இந்த வரங்கள் ஊழியர்களுக்கு மட்டுமே சொந்தமாகும் என எண்ணிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.  ஆனால், கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் விசுவாசம்கொண்டு வாழும் அனைத்து விசுவாசிகளும் இந்த வரங்களைப் பெறுவதற்கு ஆர்வமுள்ளவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டும். "கேட்கிற எவனும் பெற்றுக்கொள்கிறான்" (லூக்கா 11:10) என்று  இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக்  கூறியுள்ளபடி நாம் இந்த வரங்களைக் கேட்டுப்  பெற்றுக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்; அந்தத் தாகம் உள்ளவர்களாக வாழவேண்டும். 

விசுவாசிகள் இந்த வரங்களைப் பெற்றவர்களாக இருப்பது மற்றவர்களை கிறிஸ்துவை நோக்கி நடத்த மிகவும் உபயோகமாக இருக்கும். கிறிஸ்துவை அறியாத மக்கள் மத்தியில் வாழ்த்த ஒரு பெண்ணுக்கு குணமாகும் வரம் மிகுதியாக இருந்தது. அந்தப்பெண்மணி அதனால் அப்பகுதியிலுள்ள மக்களில் பலரை நோய்களிலிருந்து குணமாக்கினார். இதனைக்கண்ட மக்களில் பலர் கிறிஸ்துவை விசுவாசித்து ஏற்றுக்கொண்டார்கள். அந்தக் கிராமமே இன்று கிறிஸ்தவ கிராமமாக மாறியுள்ளது. 

முற்காலத்தில் இந்தியாவுக்கு  மிஷனரிகளாக வந்த ஊழியர்களிடம் இத்தகைய வரங்கள் இருந்ததால்தான் அவர்களை மக்கள் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டனர். இன்றும் வடமாநிலங்களில் நற்செய்தி அறிவிக்கும் பணிகளில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ள பலருக்கு தேவன் இந்த வரங்களைக் கொடுத்துள்ளதால்தான் பலர் கிறிஸ்துவண்டைக்குத் திரும்பிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.   

அன்பானவர்களே, இதுவரை ஆவிக்குரிய வரங்களை பெறுவதில் ஆர்வமில்லாதவர்களாக, அது குறித்து எந்த முயற்சி எடுக்காமல் வாழ்ந்துகொண்டிருந்தால் இனியாவது தேவனிடம் இந்த வரங்களை நாட முயற்சியெடுப்போம். ஆவிக்குரிய வரங்களை தேவன் நமக்குத் தரும்போது அதோடுகூட நமது குடும்பத்தையும் நமது சந்ததிகளையும் ஆசீர்வதிப்பேன் என்று வாக்களித்துள்ளனர்.

"தாகமுள்ளவன்மேல் தண்ணீரையும், வறண்ட நிலத்தின்மேல் ஆறுகளையும் ஊற்றுவேன்; உன் சந்ததியின்மேல் என் ஆவியையும், உன் சந்தானத்தின்மேல் என் ஆசீர்வாதத்தையும் ஊற்றுவேன். அதினால் அவர்கள் புல்லின் நடுவே நீர்க்கால்களின் ஓரத்திலுள்ள அலரிச்செடிகளைப்போல வளருவார்கள்." ( ஏசாயா 44: 3, 4) என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

Scripture Meditation - Number: 1,410

"But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way." (1 Corinthians 12:31, KJV)

The spiritual life is not limited to reading the Bible, praying, or participating in spiritual gatherings. Rather, it extends to receiving the spiritual gifts that God provides and using them to lead others to Christ. Additionally, there are higher aspects of spiritual living, as highlighted by Apostle Paul when he says, “yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.”

In his epistle to the Corinthians, Paul lists nine spiritual gifts: the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, diverse kinds of tongues, and interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:8-10). He urges believers to earnestly desire these greater gifts.

Many Christians assume that these gifts are exclusive to ministers, but all believers who live by faith in Christ should eagerly desire and seek these gifts. As Jesus said, “For every one that asketh receiveth” (Luke 11:10, KJV), we must ask and strive to receive these gifts with genuine spiritual thirst.

Believers who receive these gifts can significantly impact others, guiding them toward Christ. For instance, a woman with the gift of healing in a non-Christian community helped many people recover from illnesses. Witnessing these miracles, several people embraced faith in Christ, and the entire village became a Christian community.

During the missionary era in India, the missionaries possessed such gifts, which helped them gain acceptance among the local people. Even today, many evangelists in North India, empowered with these gifts, bring multitudes to Christ.

Dear believers, if we have lacked interest or effort in seeking spiritual gifts so far, let us resolve to earnestly ask God for them. God promises not only to bless us with these gifts but also to bless our families and future generations.

"For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring: And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses." (Isaiah 44:3-4, KJV)

'ஆதவன்' டிசம்பர் 17, 2024. 💚செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை

"துன்மார்க்கன் சாகிறது எனக்கு எவ்வளவேனும் பிரியமோ? அவன் தன் வழிகளை விட்டுத் திரும்பிப் பிழைப்பது அல்லவோ எனக்குப் பிரியம் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்." ( எசேக்கியேல் 18: 23)

தேவன் உலகத்திலுள்ள அனைவரையும் நேசிக்கிறார். நல்லவர்கள், கெட்டவர்கள், துன்மார்க்கர்கள் எல்லோரையும் நேசிக்கிறார். அதாவது அவர் பாவத்தை வெறுக்கிறார்; பாவிகளையோ நேசிக்கிறார். எனவே பாவத்தில் வாழும் மனிதர்கள் தங்களது பாவ வழிகளிலிருந்து மனம்திரும்ப அவர்களுக்கு வாய்ப்பளிக்கிறார். இன்றைய வசனத்துக்கு இணையாக, "நான் துன்மார்க்கனுடைய மரணத்தை விரும்பாமல், துன்மார்க்கன் தன் வழியை விட்டுத் திரும்பிப் பிழைப்பதையே விரும்புகிறேன் என்று என் ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன்' ( எசேக்கியேல் 33: 11) என்றும் தேவன் கூறுவதையும்  நாம் வேதாகமத்தில் வாசிக்கலாம். 

இயேசு கிறிஸ்து பாவிகளை மன்னித்து ஏற்றுக்கொண்டதை நாம் புதிய ஏற்பாட்டு நூலில் அதிக இடங்களில் வாசிக்கின்றோம். பாவிகளை தேவன் மன்னிப்பது குறித்து அவர் கூறிய கெட்ட குமாரன் உவமை மிகச் சிறந்த உதாரணமாக உள்ளது. அந்த உவமையை கூறுமுன் அவர் கூறுகின்றார், "மனந்திரும்ப அவசியமில்லாத தொண்ணூற்றொன்பது நீதிமான்களைக்குறித்துச் சந்தோஷம் உண்டாகிறதைப்பார்க்கிலும் மனந்திரும்புகிற ஒரே பாவியினிமித்தம் பரலோகத்தில் மிகுந்த சந்தோஷம் உண்டாயிருக்கும் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்." ( லுூக்கா 15: 7)

பாவம் மனிதனைக் கொல்லுகின்றது. மனம் திரும்பும்போதோ மனிதன் உயிரடைகின்றான். இதனையே அவர் அந்த உவமையின் இறுதியில் கூறுகின்றார், "உன் சகோதரனாகிய இவனோ மரித்தான், திரும்பவும் உயிர்த்தான்; காணாமற்போனான், திரும்பவும் காணப்பட்டான்; ஆனபடியினாலே, நாம் சந்தோஷப்பட்டு மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருக்கவேண்டுமே என்று சொன்னான் என்றார்." ( லுூக்கா 15: 32)

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, சிறிய பாவமோ பெரிய பாவமோ தேவனுக்கு எதிராக அது இருப்பதால் நம்மை அது தேவனைவிட்டுப் பிரிக்கின்றது. ஆனாலும் அவர் தனது கிருபையால் மனிதர்கள் மனம் திரும்பி தன்னிடம் வரவேண்டுமென்று விரும்புகின்றார். இன்று புனிதர்களாக போற்றப்படுபவர்கள் மனம் திரும்பிய பாவிகள்தான். நாம் யாருமே பரிசுத்தவான்களல்ல. பாவங்களை தேவன் மன்னிப்பதால்தான் நாம் அவர்முன் நிற்கமுடிகின்றது. ஆம், "அவர் நம்முடைய பாவங்களுக்குத்தக்கதாக நமக்குச் செய்யாமலும், நம்முடைய அக்கிரமங்களுக்குத் தக்கதாக நமக்குச் சரிக்கட்டாமலும் இருக்கிறார்." ( சங்கீதம் 103: 10)

மேலும், "மேற்குக்கும் கிழக்குக்கும் எவ்வளவு தூரமோ, அவ்வளவு தூரமாய் அவர் நம்முடைய பாவங்களை நம்மைவிட்டு விலக்கினார்." ( சங்கீதம் 103: 12) என்று நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். நம்மில் யாரும் கெட்டு அழிந்துபோவதை தேவன் விரும்பவில்லை.

இயேசு கிறிஸ்து பூமியில் வந்த நோக்கமே நம்மை பாவத்திலிருந்து மீட்பதற்காகத்தான். எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, நமது பாவங்களை எண்ணிக் கலங்கி தேவனைவிட்டு நாம் தூரப்போய்விடவேண்டாம். நம் தேவனிடம் இரக்கங்கள் உண்டு. எந்தப் பாவம் நம்மிடம் இருந்தாலும் அவரிடம் அறிக்கையிட்டு அவரது இரத்தத்தால் கழுவப்படும்படி மன்றாடுவோம். அவரே நம்மைக் கழுவி தந்து மகனாக மகளாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்வார். "...................அவருடைய குமாரனாகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தம் சகல பாவங்களையும் நீக்கி, நம்மைச் சுத்திகரிக்கும்." (1 யோவான்  1 : 7)

"Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?" (Ezekiel 18:23, KJV)

God loves everyone in this world—good people, sinners, and even the wicked. Although He hates sin, He loves sinners. Therefore, He provides an opportunity for those living in sin to turn away from their sinful paths and repent. In alignment with today's verse, we also read in the Bible: "As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?" (Ezekiel 33:11, KJV).

In the New Testament, we frequently see how Jesus Christ forgave and accepted sinners. The parable of the Prodigal Son is a perfect example of God’s forgiveness. Before sharing this parable, Jesus said: "I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance." (Luke 15:7, KJV).

Sin leads to death, but repentance brings life. Jesus highlights this truth at the conclusion of the parable, saying: "For this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found." (Luke 15:32, KJV).

Yes, dear ones, whether it is a small or great sin, it separates us from God. Yet, by His grace, God desires that all people repent and return to Him. Even the saints we revere today were once sinners who repented. None of us are inherently holy. It is only through God’s forgiveness that we can stand before Him. As the Bible declares: "He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities." (Psalm 103:10, KJV).

Furthermore, the Bible reassures us: "As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us." (Psalm 103:12, KJV). God does not wish for anyone to perish or be destroyed.

Jesus Christ came to earth with the purpose of saving us from sin. Therefore, beloved, let us not dwell on our sins and distance ourselves from God in guilt and shame. Our God is merciful. Whatever sin may burden us, let us confess it to Him and seek to be cleansed by His precious blood. He will wash us and accept us as His sons and daughters. As it is written: "The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1:7, KJV).
