🦋 Meditation verse - சங்கீதம் 25 : 12 / Psalm 25:12

 💥"ஆதவன்" 🌳தியானம் - எண் 1916

📆2026 மே 07, வியாழன் 

"கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுகிற மனுஷன் எவனோ அவனுக்குத் தாம் தெரிந்துகொள்ளும் வழியைப் போதிப்பார்." ( சங்கீதம் 25 : 12 )

நமது வாழ்க்கைப் பயணத்தில் இந்த உலகத்தில் நாம் செல்லும் வழிகள் அனைத்தும் பலவேளைகளில் சரியாக இருப்பதில்லை; நாம் எடுக்கும் முடிவுகள் பலவும் சரியாக இருப்பதில்லை. காரணம், நமது அறிவு குறைவுள்ளது. நாம் நமக்குத் தெரிந்த குறைந்த அனுபவங்களையும் அறிவையும் கொண்டு முடிவுகள் எடுக்கின்றோம். எனவேதான் பலவேளைகளில் தவறுகின்றோம்.

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது அறிவு குறைவுள்ளது. ஆனால் தேவன் நமக்குள் வரும்போது மட்டுமே நாம் நிறைவுள்ளவர்கள் ஆகின்றோம். அப்படி  "நிறைவானது வரும்போது குறைவானது ஒழிந்துபோம்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 13 : 10 ) அதுவரை நாம் பலவேளைகளில் தவறிக்கொண்டுதான் இருப்போம். 

சிலருக்கு வாழ்க்கையில் அனைத்தும் வெற்றியாக நடைபெறுவதையும் பலருக்கு எதை எடுத்தாலும் தோல்வியில் முடிவடைவதையும் பார்க்கின்றோம். காரணம், தேவன் தம்மால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட தேவ பிள்ளைகளை மற்றவர்களைப்போல நடத்துவதில்லை. மற்றவர்களுக்கு வெற்றியாக முடிவடையும் காரியங்கள் தேவன் அன்பு செய்யும் மனிதர்களுக்குத் தோல்வியில் முடிவடையும். தொடர்ந்த தோல்வியில், உபத்திரவங்களில்  தேவன் மனிதர்கள் தன்னை முழுமனதுடன்  தேடும்படிச் செய்கின்றார்.  ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவன் உபத்திரவங்களால் சோதித்து தனக்கான மக்களைத் தெரிவுசெய்கின்றார்.  

இதனையே, "இதோ, உன்னைப் புடமிட்டேன்; ஆனாலும் வெள்ளியைப்போலல்ல, உபத்திரவத்தின் குகையிலே உன்னைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டேன்." ( ஏசாயா 48 : 10 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

பழைய காலங்களில் கடல் பயணம் மிகவும் கடினமான ஒன்றாகவே இருந்தது. பரந்த கடல்வெளியில் திசை அறிவது மிகவும் கடினமாகவே இருந்தது. ஆனால் திசைகாட்டும் கருவி கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டபின்னர் அது சிறிதளவு எளிதாக மாறியது. கடல் பயணத்துக்கு உதவியாக கலங்கரை விளக்குகள் இருந்தன. அவை கடற்கரை குறித்து ஓரளவு அறிவித்தன. ஆனால், இந்தக்காலத்தில் கடல் பயணம் நவீனமாகிவிட்டது. கப்பல்கள் நவீனமாகிவிட்டன. GPS கருவிகள், கம்ப்பியூட்டர் துல்லியமாக இடங்களை பயணம் செய்பவர்களுக்கு எடுத்துக்கூறுகின்றன. 

நாம் தேவனில்லாத வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது பழைய காலத்து மனிதர்கள் கடல் பயணம் செய்ததுபோல வாழ்கின்றோம். ஆனால் தேவனை அறிந்தபின்னர் நவீன காலத்து மக்களைப்போல துல்லியமாக பயணத்தின் இடம், திசை அறிந்தவர்களாக மாறுகின்றோம். காரணம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படும் பயம் நமக்கு இருக்குமானால் அவர் நம்மை நடத்துவார். இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில், "கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுகிற மனுஷன் எவனோ அவனுக்குத் தாம் தெரிந்துகொள்ளும் வழியைப் போதிப்பார்" என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

எனவேதான் நாம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படும் வாழ்க்கை வாழவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது. அப்படி வாழ்வோமானால் தேவனே நமக்கான வழியினைக் காண்பித்து நம்மை நடத்துவார். தொடர்ந்த பிரச்னை, கஷ்டங்கள் வாழ்வில் ஏற்படும்போது நாம் உணர்ந்துகொள்ளவேண்டிய செய்தி இதுதான்:-  "தேவன் என்னை நேசிக்கின்றார்; எனவே எனது வாழ்க்கை மாற்றத்தை விரும்புகின்றார்"  

தேவனது சித்தத்தை அறிந்து நம்மைத் திருத்திக்கொள்ள மனதுள்ளவர்களாக இருப்போமானால் தாம் தெரிந்துகொள்ளும் வழியை நமக்குப்  போதிப்பார்; நமது வாழ்க்கையையும் மாற்றுவார். அப்போது, நவீன விஞ்ஞான கருவிகளுடன் நவீன கப்பல்களில் பயணம் செய்வதுபோல நமது வாழ்க்கைப் பயணம் மாறும்.

💥 "AATHAVAN" Meditation – No. 1916

📖 May 07, 2026, Thursday

"Who is the man who fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way he should choose." — Psalm 25:12

In our life’s journey, the paths we take in this world are often not the right ones; many of the decisions we make are flawed. The reason is that our knowledge is limited. We make decisions based on our meagre experiences and restricted understanding. That is why we fail so often.

Yes, dear ones, our knowledge is deficient. We become complete only when God enters into us. As it is written:

"But when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away with." — 1 Corinthians 13:10

Until then, we will continue to stumble in many ways.

We see that for some, everything in life results in success, while for others, whatever they touch ends in failure. The reason is that God does not lead His chosen children in the same way He leads others. Things that might end in success for others may end in failure for those whom God loves. Through continuous failures and tribulations, God causes people to seek Him with their whole heart. Yes, dear ones, God tests His people through the "furnace of affliction" and chooses them for Himself.

We read of this in the Scripture:

"Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction." — Isaiah 48:10

In ancient times, sea travel was an extremely difficult endeavour. It was very hard to discern direction in the vast expanse of the ocean. After the invention of the compass, it became slightly easier. Lighthouses served as aids, giving some indication of the coastline. However, in this modern era, sea travel has been transformed. Ships are sophisticated. GPS devices and computers accurately point out locations to travellers.

When we live a life without God, we live like the ancient mariners. But after knowing God, we become like modern travellers—knowing the exact destination and direction of our journey. The reason is that if we have the fear of the Lord, He will lead us. This is exactly what we read in today’s meditation verse: "Who is the man who fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way he should choose."

Therefore, it is essential that we live a life fearing the Lord. If we live that way, God Himself will show us the path intended for us and lead us. When continuous problems and hardships arise in life, this is the message we must understand: "God loves me; therefore, He desires a change in my life."

If we are willing to know God's will and correct ourselves, He will instruct us in the way He chooses and transform our lives. Then, our life’s journey will be changed—resembling a voyage on a modern ship equipped with the latest technology.

🦋 Meditation verse - எரேமியா 2: 27 / Jeremiah 2:27

 💥"ஆதவன்" 🌳தியானம் - எண் 1915

📆2026 மே 06, புதன்      

"அவர்கள் தங்கள் முகத்தையல்ல, தங்கள் முதுகை எனக்குக் காட்டினார்கள்; தங்கள் ஆபத்துக்காலத்திலோ எழுந்து எங்களை இரட்சியும் என்கிறார்கள்." ( எரேமியா 2: 27)

நமக்குப் பிடிக்காதவர்கள் அல்லது நம்மைப் பிடிக்காதவர்கள் இவர்களை நேருக்குநேராகச் சந்திக்கும்போது சிலவேளைகளில்  ஒருவருக்கொருவர் மற்றவர்களைக் கண்டுகொள்ளாமல் முகங்களைத் திருப்பிக்கொள்வதுண்டு; சிலவேளைகளில் ஒருவர் மற்றவரை உதாசீனப்படுத்துவதுண்டு.  சிலர் தாங்கள் செல்லும் வழியில் பிடிக்காதவர்கள் வருகிறார்கள் என்று தெரிந்தால் தங்களது வழியையே மாற்றி வேறு வழியாகச் செல்வதுண்டு. 

நாம் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடையவர்களாக வாழாமல் இருப்போமானால் நாமும் இப்படித்  தேவனுக்கு எதிராகச் செயல்படுபவர்களாகவே இருப்போம். தேவன் நமக்கு ஏற்கெனவே வாழவேண்டிய வழிகளை  வகுத்துத் தந்துள்ளார். அதன்படி நடக்காவிட்டால் நாம்  அவருக்கு நமது முதுகினைக் காட்டுகின்றோம் என்று பொருள். தங்களுக்குப்  பிடிக்காத மனிதர் உயர் பதவியில் இருக்கும்போது சிலர், "இவனை நாம் ஏன் மதிக்கவேண்டும்?" என்பதுபோல செயல்படுவார்கள். ஆனால், ஏதோ ஒரு சந்தர்ப்பத்தில் அவர்களைத் தேடி நாம் செல்லவேண்டிய சூழ்நிலை ஏற்படலாம். இதுபோலவே, நமது தேவைகளுக்காக நாம் தேவனைத் தேடவேண்டிய சூழ்நிலை அதிகமாக ஏற்படும். 

பெரும்பாலான மனிதர்கள் தேவ கற்பனைகளையும், வழிகளையும் புறம்தள்ளி தங்கள் மனத்துக்கேற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழ்கின்றனர்; தேவ பயமற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழ்கின்றனர். ஆனால், பெரிய இக்கட்டான சூழ்நிலையோ, கொடிய நோய்களோ ஏற்படும்போது தேவனைத் தேடி ஓடுகின்றனர். அப்போதும்கூட, தங்களது பிரச்சனையும் நோயும் தீரவேண்டும் என்று எண்ணுகின்றனரேத்தவிர தேவனை மனதார எண்ணுவதில்லை; அவரை அன்புள்ளவராகவோ அன்பு செய்யத் தகுதியுள்ளவராகவோ எண்ணுவதில்லை. மக்களது ஒரே எண்ணம் நமது தேவை அவரைக்கொண்டு நிறைவேற்றவேண்டும் என்பது மட்டுமே. 

இப்படி உலகில் செயல்படும் மனிதர்களை நாம் காரியவாதிகள் என்று குறிப்பிடுவோம். அதாவது, தங்களுக்குக் காரியம் ஆகவேண்டும் என்பதற்காக பிறரை முகஸ்துதி செய்வார்கள் இவர்கள். ஆனால் உள்ளத்திலோ அவர்களைக்குறித்து எந்த நல்ல எண்ணமும் இருப்பதில்லை. இத்தகைய மனிதர்களையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் தேவன் "அவர்கள் தங்கள் முகத்தையல்ல, தங்கள் முதுகை எனக்குக் காட்டினார்கள்; தங்கள் ஆபத்துக்காலத்திலோ எழுந்து எங்களை இரட்சியும் என்கிறார்கள்" என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

தேவன் மனிதர்களது உள்ளத்து எண்ணங்களை அறிந்திருக்கிறார். நமது வாயில் சொல் பிறக்குமுன்பே நாம் என்னச்  சொல்லப்போகின்றோம் என்பதனைத் தேவன் அறிவார்.  "என் நாவில் சொல் பிறவாததற்கு முன்னே, இதோ, கர்த்தாவே, அதையெல்லாம் நீர் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்" ( சங்கீதம் 139: 4) என்கின்றார் சங்கீத ஆசிரியர். 

நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவைக்குறித்து அப்போஸ்தலரான யோவான், "மனுஷருள்ளத்திலிருப்பதை அவர் அறிந்திருந்தபடியால், மனுஷரைக் குறித்து ஒருவரும் அவருக்குச் சாட்சி கொடுக்கவேண்டியதாய் இருக்கவில்லை." ( யோவான் 2: 25) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் எந்த மனஎண்ணத்துடன் தேவனை நோக்கி வேண்டுகின்றோம், நமது உள்ளான மனநிலை என்ன என்பதனை தேவன் அறிவார். எனவே, மனிதர்களிடம் நடிப்பதுபோல தேவனை நாம் நடித்து ஏமாற்றிடமுடியாது. நமது முகத்தை அவருக்குக் காண்பிப்பதுபோலக் காண்பித்து நமது இருதயம் அவருக்கு முதுகைக் காண்பிக்குமானால் நாம் பரிதபிக்கக்கூடியவர்களாகவே இருப்போம். 

நமது ஆவி, ஆத்துமா சரீரம் அனைத்தும் அவருக்கு நேராக சீராக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். அவருக்கு முதுகைக்காட்டக்கூடிய நிலையில் இவை இருக்குமானால் நம்மையே நாம் சீர்தூக்கிப்பாத்துத் திருத்திக்கொள்வோம்.

AATHAVAN Meditation – No. 1915

May 06, 2026, Wednesday

"For they have turned their back to Me, and not their face; but in the time of their trouble they will say, 'Arise and save us.'" (Jeremiah 2:27)

When we encounter people we dislike—or those who dislike us—we often avoid eye contact or turn our faces away. Sometimes we ignore them altogether. Some people, upon seeing someone they wish to avoid approaching from a distance, will even change their path to take a different route.

If we do not live in a way that is pleasing to God, we are essentially acting against Him in this same manner. God has already laid out the paths in which we should walk. If we fail to follow them, it means we are showing Him our backs. When someone they dislike holds a high position, some might think, "Why should I respect this person?" Yet, a situation may eventually arise where we are forced to seek that very person's help. Similarly, there will many occasions where we must seek God for our needs.

Most people cast aside God’s commandments and His ways to live according to their own desires, living without the fear of God. However, when faced with a major crisis or a terrible disease, they run to God. Even then, their only thought is that their problem or illness should be resolved; they do not truly seek God from the heart. They do not view Him as a loving Being or someone worthy of their love. Their sole intent is simply to use Him to fulfil their own needs.

We call such people "opportunists." They flatter others only to get what they want, while harbouring no genuine goodwill in their hearts. It is regarding such people that God says in today’s meditation verse: "For they have turned their back to Me, and not their face; but in the time of their trouble they will say, 'Arise and save us.'"

God knows the thoughts of the human heart. Even before a word is formed on our tongues, He knows exactly what we are going to say. The Psalmist says:

"Even before there is a word on my tongue, behold, O Lord, You know it all." (Psalm 139:4)

Regarding our Lord Jesus Christ, the Apostle John writes:

"...because He knew all men, and because He did not need anyone to testify concerning man, for He Himself knew what was in man." (John 2:25)

Yes, dear ones, God knows the intent with which we pray to Him and the true state of our inner hearts. We cannot deceive God by acting, as we might with fellow humans. If we pretend to show Him our face while our heart is actually turned away (showing Him its back), we are in a pitiable state.

It is essential that our spirit, soul, and body are all aligned toward Him. If any part of us is in a position of turning its back to Him, let us examine ourselves and make the necessary corrections.

🦋 Meditation verse - யோவான் 12 : 48 / John 12:48

💥"ஆதவன்" 🌳தியானம் - எண் 1914

📆2026 மே 05, செவ்வாய்     

"என்னைத் தள்ளி என் வார்த்தைகளை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாதவனை நியாயந்தீர்க்கிறதொன்றிருக்கிறது; நான் சொன்ன வசனமே அவனைக் கடைசிநாளில் நியாயந்தீர்க்கும்." ( யோவான் 12 : 48 )

கிறிஸ்துவை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாததும் அவரவர் தனிப்பட்ட விருப்பம். ஆனால், கிறிஸ்துவை எல்லோருக்கும் அறிவிக்கவேண்டியது கிறிஸ்தவர்களின் கடமை. ஏனெனில் இதனை இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தான் பரலோகம் செல்லுமுன் ஒரு கட்டளையாகக் கூறினார். "பின்பு, அவர் அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் உலகமெங்கும்போய், சர்வ சிருஷ்டிக்கும் சுவிசேஷத்தைப் பிரசங்கியுங்கள். விசுவாசமுள்ளவனாகி ஞானஸ்நானம் பெற்றவன் இரட்சிக்கப்படுவான்; விசுவாசியாதவனோ ஆக்கினைக்குள்ளாகத் தீர்க்கப்படுவான்." ( மாற்கு 16 : 15, 16 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

பிரசங்கிக்கவேண்டியது மட்டுமே நமது கடமை. அதனைத்தான் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் செய்கின்றனரே  தவிர மதம் மாற்றுவதில்லை. ஊழியம் செய்கின்றேன் என்று கூறி வேத அறிவோ அனுபவமோ இல்லாத சில அற்பமான ஊழியர்கள்தான் இதில் தவறு செய்கின்றனர். ஆண்டவர் இயேசுவின் வார்த்தைகளை விதைக்கவேண்டுமேத்தவிர திணிக்கக்கூடாது. வலுக்கட்டாயமாக எவரையும் நாம் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் கொண்டுவரமுடியாது. அப்படி ஒருவர் கிறிஸ்தவராக வருவாரென்றால் அவர் பெயர் கிறிஸ்தவராகவே இருப்பார். இன்று சிலர் திருமணத்துக்காக இப்படி மதம் மாறி கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் ஆகின்றனர். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறுவது இதுதான்.  அதாவது எனது வார்த்தைகளை நீங்கள் விதையுங்கள். அதனை ஏற்றுகொள்ளாதவனை நான் கூறிய வசனமே நியாயம் தீர்க்கும். ஆம், தேவனது வார்த்தைகள் உயிரும் வல்லமையும் உள்ளது. அது மனிதனது  உள்ளத்தில் ஊடுருவி அவனது ஆத்துமா, சிந்தனை, செயல், அவனது உடல் அனைத்தையும் ஊடுருவி குத்தக்கூடியது. இதனை நாம் எபிரெயர் நிருபத்தில் பின்வருமாறு வாசிக்கின்றோம்:- 

"தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையானது ஜீவனும் வல்லமையும் உள்ளதாயும், இருபுறமும் கருக்குள்ள எந்தப் பட்டயத்திலும் கருக்கானதாயும், ஆத்துமாவையும், ஆவியையும், கணுக்களையும் ஊனையும் பிரிக்கத்தக்கதாக உருவக் குத்துகிறதாயும், இருதயத்தின் நினைவுகளையும் யோசனைகளையும் வகையறுக்கிறதாயும் இருக்கிறது." ( எபிரெயர் 4 : 12 ) ஒருவன் எந்த மார்க்கத்தானாய் இருந்தாலும் மனச்சாட்சி அனைவருக்கும் ஒன்றுதான்.  அதுவே அனைவரையும் ஒரே தேவன் உண்டாக்கினார் என்பதற்கு அடையாளம். 

இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "அவர்களுடைய மனச்சாட்சியும்கூடச் சாட்சியிடுகிறதினாலும், குற்றமுண்டு குற்றமில்லையென்று அவர்களுடைய சிந்தனைகள் ஒன்றையொன்று தீர்க்கிறதினாலும், நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திற்கேற்ற கிரியை தங்கள் இருதயங்களில் எழுதியிருக்கிறதென்று காண்பிக்கிறார்கள்." ( ரோமர் 2 : 15 ) ஆம், ஆண்டவரது சட்டங்கள் எல்லா மனிதர்கள் உள்ளத்திலும் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளன.

ஆண்டவரது வசனம் நீதியானது, மதங்களுக்கு அப்பாற்பட்டது. அதனால்தான், என் வார்த்தைகளை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாதவனை நியாயந்தீர்க்கிறதொன்றிருக்கிறது; நான் சொன்ன வசனமே அவனைக் கடைசிநாளில் நியாயந்தீர்க்கும் என்கின்றார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. இதனாலேயே அனைவருக்கும் சுவிசேஷம் அறிவிக்கின்றோம்.

கிறிஸ்துவைத் தள்ளி அவரது வார்த்தைகளை விசுவாசியாமல் போகும்போது நாம் நீதியாக வாழ முடியாது. அவரது வசனமே நம்மைச் சரியான பாதையில் நடத்த வல்லமையுள்ளது. 

"என் வார்த்தைகளை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாதவனை நியாயந்தீர்க்கிற தொன்றிருக்கிறது; நான் சொன்ன வசனமே அவனைக் கடைசிநாளில் நியாயந்தீர்க்கும்" என்பது மற்றவர்களைவிட கிறிஸ்துவை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டுள்ளோம் எனக் கூறிக்கொண்டு வசனத்துக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாத வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்துகொண்டு தங்களைக் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள்  எனக் கூறிக்கொள்ளும் கிறிஸ்தவர்களுக்கே அதிகம் பொருந்தும். 

நமது வாழ்க்கை கிறிஸ்துவின் வசனத்தின்படி உள்ளதா? என்பதனையும் நாம் ஆராய்ந்து பார்க்கக் கடமைப்பட்டுள்ளோம். இல்லையானால் நாம் நியாத்தீர்ப்புநாளில் அவர் முன் தைரியமாக நிற்கமுடியாது.

💥 "AATHAVAN" 🌳 Meditation - No. 1914

Date: May 05, 2026, Tuesday

"He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day." (John 12:48)

Accepting or rejecting Christ is an individual's personal choice. However, it is the duty of Christians to proclaim Christ to everyone. This is because Jesus Christ gave this as a command before He ascended to heaven. We read in Mark 16:15-16:

"And He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.'"

Our duty is solely to preach. This is what Christians do; they do not "convert" people. Only a few insignificant workers, who lack scriptural knowledge or experience yet claim to be doing ministry, make mistakes in this regard. The words of the Lord Jesus should be sown, not imposed. We cannot bring anyone into Christ by force. If someone becomes a Christian in such a way, they remain a Christian in name only. Today, some become Christians by converting solely for the sake of marriage.

In today’s meditation verse, this is what Jesus Christ says: "Sow My words. The word I have spoken will judge the one who does not receive it." Yes, the Word of God is living and powerful. It is capable of piercing a person's heart and penetrating their soul, thoughts, actions, and body. We read this in the Epistle to the Hebrews:

"For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)

Regardless of a person's religion, the conscience is the same for everyone. That itself is the sign that one God created all people.

The Apostle Paul describes this:

"in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them." (Romans 2:15)

Indeed, the laws of the Lord are written in the hearts of all human beings.

The Lord's Word is righteous and transcends religions. That is why Jesus Christ says, "He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day." This is exactly why we proclaim the Gospel to everyone.

When we reject Christ and fail to believe His words, we cannot live righteously. His Word alone has the power to lead us on the right path.

The statement—"the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day"—applies even more to those who claim to be Christians but live lives of disobedience to the Word, rather than to those who have never known Him.

We are duty-bound to examine ourselves: Is our life in accordance with the Word of Christ? If not, we will not be able to stand boldly before Him on the Day of Judgment.

🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 29 : 13 / Isaiah 29:13

 💥"ஆதவன்" 🌳தியானம் - எண் 1913

📆2026 மே 04, திங்கள்    

"இந்த ஜனங்கள் தங்கள் வாயினால் என்னிடத்தில் சேர்ந்து, தங்கள் உதடுகளினால் என்னைக் கனம்பண்ணுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் இருதயமோ எனக்குத் தூரமாய் விலகியிருக்கிறது; அவர்கள் எனக்குப் பயப்படுகிற பயம் மனுஷராலே போதிக்கப்பட்ட கற்பனையாயிருக்கிறது." ( ஏசாயா 29 : 13 )

இன்று ஆலயங்களிலும், கிறிஸ்தவ கூடுகைகளிலும், கன்வென்க்ஷன்களிலும்  கூட்டத்துக்கு குறைவில்லை. எங்கும் பல ஆயிரம் மக்கள் கூடுகின்றனர். இதனால் இன்று  நாட்டில் எழுப்புதல் வந்த்துவிட்டது என்று சில ஊழியர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர். ஆனால் இந்தக் கூட்டமும் ஜெபங்களும் உண்மையில் மக்களது தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்க்கையில் பெரிதான மாற்றத்தைக் கொண்டுவரவில்லை என்பது தெளிவாகத் தெரிகின்றது. 

அன்பானவர்களே, இன்று ஆலயங்களில் கூடும் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் அனைவரும் உண்மையில் தேவனுக்காக கூடுபவர்களாக இருப்பார்களானால் மிகப்பெரிய வாழ்க்கை மாற்றத்தை நாம் இவர்களிடம் காண முடியும். அது நாட்டிலும் பெரிய மாற்றத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கும். ஆனால் பெரும்பாலானவர்கள் தங்களது உலகத் தேவைகளுக்காகவும் ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்காகவும் கூடுகின்ற மக்களாகவே   இருக்கின்றனர். எனவே, ஆலய ஆராதனைக்குப்பின் இவர்கள் வாழ்க்கையில் எந்த மாற்றமுமின்றி மற்ற மனிதர்களைப்போலவே வாழ்கின்றனர். மட்டுமல்ல, பல்வேறு ஏமாற்று, பித்தலாட்டம், கையூட்டு வாங்குவது போன்ற செயல்களைச் செய்பவர்களாகவும் இருக்கின்றனர். 

இது இன்று நேற்றல்ல, எசாயா தீர்க்கத்தரிசியின் காலத்திலேயே இருந்த நடைமுறைதான். அன்றும் மக்கள் தேவனுக்கென்று மாடுகளையும் ஆடுகளையும் பலியிட்டனர், காணிக்கைகள் செலுத்தினர், தேவ சந்நிதியில் தூபம் காண்பித்து  ஆராதித்தனர். ஆனால் அவர்களது வாழ்க்கையோ கேடுகெட்டதாகவே இருந்தது.

இதனையே ஏசாயா,  "மாட்டை வெட்டுகிறவன் மனுஷனைக் கொல்லுகிறவனாகவும், ஆட்டைப் பலியிடுகிறவன் நாயைக் கழுத்தறுக்கிறவனாகவும், காணிக்கையைப் படைக்கிறவன் பன்றி இரத்தத்தைப் படைக்கிறவனாகவும், தூபங்காட்டுகிறவன் விக்கிரகத்தை ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கிறவனாகவும் இருக்கிறான்; இவர்கள் தங்கள் வழிகளையே தெரிந்துகொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; இவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமா தங்கள் அருவருப்புகளின்மேல் விருப்பமாயிருக்கிறது." ( ஏசாயா 66 : 3 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

மேற்படி வசனத்தில் ஏசாயா, இவர்கள் தங்கள் வழிகளையே தெரிந்துகொள்ளுகிறார்கள் என்கின்றார். அதாவது அவர்கள் இப்படிப் பலி செலுத்தினாலும் தேவ வழியையல்ல, தங்களது மனதின் வழியையே தெரிந்துகொள்கின்றார்கள் என்கின்றார். மேலும்,  இவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமா தங்கள் அருவருப்புகளின்மேல் விருப்பமாயிருக்கிறது என்கின்றார். ஆம், இத்தனை பலிகளையும் ஆராதனைகளையும் காணிக்கைகளையும் செலுத்தியும் தொடர்ந்து தங்கள் பாவ வழிகளிலேயே விருப்பமுள்ளவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர் என்கின்றார்.

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, மக்கள் வாயினால் கர்த்தரிடம் சேர்ந்து, தங்கள் உதடுகளினால் ஆராதிக்கின்றார்களேத் தவிர அவர்கள் இருதயம் கர்த்தருக்குத் தூரமாகவே இருக்கின்றது. அவர்கள் பயபக்தியுடன் ஆலயங்களில் வந்து வழிபட்டாலும் அது தேவனை அறிந்ததனால் வந்த தேவ பயமல்ல, மாறாக மனுஷராலே போதிக்கப்பட்ட கற்பனையாயிருக்கிறது. அதாவது சிறு குழந்தைகளாக இருக்கும்போதே பெற்றோர்கள் கடவுள் பயத்தைபற்றிச் சொல்லிக்கொடுத்ததால் பயப்பட்டு ஆராதிக்கின்றார்கள். 

இதற்கு மாறாக உண்மையாகவே தேவனை அறிந்த மனிதர்களுக்கு ஆவியானவரே தேவனைப்பற்றிய அறிவை உணர்த்துவார். அவர்கள் வெறும் ஆராதனைக் கிறிஸ்தவர்களாக அல்லாமல் தேவனை ஆத்துமபூர்வமாக அறிந்து ஆராதிப்பவர்களாக இருப்பார்கள். அப்படி ஆராதிப்பவர்களிடம் மட்டுமே சாட்சியுள்ள வாழ்க்கையும் இருக்கும். 

வெறுமனே வாயினால் ஆராதித்து வாழாமல் தேவனை மெய்யாக அறிந்து உணர்ந்து அன்பு செலுத்துபவர்களாக வாழும்போது நமது ஆராதனை வித்தியாச ஆராதனையாக இருக்கும். அத்தகைய ஆராதனை செய்யும்போது நமது வாழ்க்கையும் மாறுபட்ட வாழ்க்கையாக இருக்கும். தேவனை அறிந்து, அவரையே வாழ்வில் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளும் ஆர்வமுள்ளவர்களாக வாழ்வோம்; அதற்காகவே அவரை ஆராதிப்போம்.

💥 "AATHAVAN" Meditation – No. 1913

"Then the Lord said, 'Because this people draws near with their words and honours Me with their lip service, but they remove their hearts far from Me, and their reverence for Me consists of tradition learned by rote.'" (Isaiah 29:13)

Today, there is no shortage of crowds in churches, Christian gatherings, and conventions. Thousands of people gather everywhere. Because of this, some ministers claim that a revival has come to the country. However, it is clearly evident that these crowds and prayers have not actually brought about a significant change in the personal lives of the people.

Dearly beloved, if all the Christians gathering in churches today were truly gathering for God, we would see a massive transformation in their lives. That, in turn, would have created a great change in the nation. But the majority of people gather only for their worldly needs and blessings. Therefore, after the church service, they live just like any other person, without any change in their lives. Furthermore, they are often found engaging in various acts of deception, fraud, and bribery.

This is not a new phenomenon; it was a practice that existed even in the days of the Prophet Isaiah. Back then, people sacrificed bulls and sheep to God, offered tithes, and worshipped by burning incense in the presence of God. Yet, their lives remained corrupt.

Regarding this, Isaiah says:

"But he who kills an ox is like one who slays a man; he who sacrifices a lamb is like the one who breaks a dog’s neck; he who offers a grain offering is like one who offers swine’s blood; he who burns incense is like the one who blesses an idol. As they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations." (Isaiah 66:3)

In the above verse, Isaiah notes that they "have chosen their own ways." This means that even though they offer these sacrifices, they do not choose God's way, but rather the way of their own hearts. Moreover, he says their "soul delights in their abominations." Yes, despite offering all these sacrifices, rituals, and offerings, they continue to take pleasure in their sinful paths.

Indeed, dearly beloved, people draw near to the Lord with their mouths and worship with their lips, but their hearts remain far from Him. Although they come to churches and worship with an appearance of reverence, it is not a fear of God that comes from truly knowing Him; rather, it is a "tradition learned by rote" (human commandment). That is, they worship out of a fear instilled by parents who taught them about the fear of God since they were small children.

In contrast, for those who truly know God, the Holy Spirit Himself will impart the knowledge of God. They will not be mere "worship-only Christians," but will be those who know and worship God with their whole soul. A witnessed (testifying) life exists only among such worshippers.

When we live not by merely worshipping with our mouths, but by truly knowing, perceiving, and loving God, our worship will be a distinct kind of worship. When we engage in such worship, our lives will also be transformed. Let us live with the desire to know God and to possess Him in our lives; let us worship Him for that very reason.

🦋 Meditation verse - லுூக்கா 22 : 32 / Luke 22:32

 💥"ஆதவன்" 🌳தியானம் - எண் 1912 

📆2026 மே 03, ஞாயிறு   

"நானோ உன் விசுவாசம் ஒழிந்துபோகாதபடிக்கு உனக்காக வேண்டிக்கொண்டேன்; நீ குணப்பட்டபின்பு உன் சகோதரரை ஸ்திரப்படுத்து." ( லுூக்கா 22 : 32 )

கிறிஸ்துவின் சுவிசேஷத்தை மக்களுக்கு அறிவிக்குமுன் நாம் முதலில் கிறிஸ்தவ விசுவாசத்தில் பலப்படவேண்டியது அவசியம். அல்லாவிட்டால் நமது சுவிசேஷ அறிவிப்புகள் எதார்த்தத்தைவிட்டு விலகி சாதாரண ஒரு அரசியல்வாதியின் பேச்சுபோல ஆகிவிடும். பல கிறிஸ்தவ ஊழியர்கள் இப்படிச் சரியான ஆத்தும குணமடைவதற்குமுன் மற்றவர்களுக்கு கிறிஸ்துவை அறிவிக்க முற்படுகின்றனர். இதனால் தங்களுக்கும் தங்களது வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்பவர்களுக்கும் சிலவேளைகளில் கேடு வருவித்துக்கொள்கின்றனர். 

எனக்குத் தெரிந்த ஒரு சகோதரர் கிறிஸ்துவை அறிவிக்க அவ்வப்போது வெளி மாவட்டங்களுக்குப் புறப்பட்டுச் செல்வார். குறிப்பாக, தஞ்சாவூர் மாவட்டத்தில் அதிக கிராமங்களுக்குச் சென்று ஊழியம் செய்து வந்தார். 

ஆனால் இவரது சொந்த ஊரில் சாட்சியற்ற வாழ்க்கைதான் வாழ்ந்தார். சீட்டு நடத்துவது, வட்டிக்குப் பணம் கொடுப்பது போன்ற செயல்களைச்  செய்துவந்தார். அதாவது, கிறிஸ்துவின் கட்டளைகளுக்கு விரோதமான செயல்பாடுகளைத்தான் செய்துவந்தார். ஆனால் அவ்வப்போது நற்செய்தி அறிவிக்க வெளி மாவட்டங்களுக்குச் சென்றுவிடுவார். ஒருமுறை அவரிடம், "நீங்கள் செய்யும் தொழிலுக்கும் நற்செய்தி அறிவிப்புக்கும் சம்பந்தமில்லை. முதலில் உங்களை தேவனுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து ஜெபியுங்கள்" என்று கூறினேன். 

அவர் சம்மதிக்கவில்லை. தான் செய்வது சரிதான் என்று சாதித்தார். "இது  நான் செய்யும் தொழில்; இதற்கும் நான் நற்செய்தி அறிவிப்பதற்கும் சம்பந்தமில்லை" என்று கூறினார்.   மட்டுமல்ல, தொடர்ந்து அவரிடம் பேசியபோது,    பிரபல ஊழியர்களைப்பார்த்து தானும் அவர்களைப்போல பிரபலமானவராக மாறவேண்டும் என்று உள்ளத்தில்  எண்ணுவது புரிந்தது. ஆனால் பரிதாபம் என்னவென்றால் திடீரென்று ஒருநாள் தற்கொலை செய்து உயிரை மாய்த்துக்கொண்டார். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம்,  தலைமை அப்போஸ்தலர் பேதுருவைச் சாத்தான் சோதிக்க கிறிஸ்துவிடம் அனுமதிகேட்டபோது இயேசு கிறிஸ்து அவரை நோக்கிக் கூறிய வார்த்தைகளாகும்.  ஆண்டவர் இயேசு பேதுருவைச் சோதிக்கச்  சாத்தானுக்கு இடம்கொடுக்கவில்லை. காரணம், தந்திரமான சாத்தானுக்கு இடங்கொடுத்தால் அவன் பேதுருவின் விசுவாசத்தைக் கெடுத்துவிடுவான் என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து அறிந்திருந்தார்.  

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது விசுவாசத்தை சீர்குலைக்க சாத்தான் பல்வேறு வகைகளில் முயலுவான். பண ஆசை, புகழாசை, பெருமை இவைகளை நமக்குமுன் கொண்டுவருவான்.  அவற்றை முதலில் நாம் மேற்கொள்ளும் பலமடைந்தவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். கிறிஸ்துவோடு இரவும் பகலும் உடனிருந்து அவரோடு உண்டு குடித்து வாழ்ந்த பேதுருவையே சாத்தான் சோதிக்க எண்ணுவானென்றால் நாமெல்லாம் அவனுக்கு எம்மாத்திரம்?

எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுலும், "நீங்கள் பிசாசின் தந்திரங்களோடு எதிர்த்து நிற்கத் திராணியுள்ளவர்களாகும்படி, தேவனுடைய சர்வாயுதவர்க்கத்தையும் தரித்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள். ஏனெனில், மாம்சத்தோடும் இரதத்தோடுமல்ல, துரைத்தனங்களோடும், அதிகாரங்களோடும், இப்பிரபஞ்சத்தின் அந்தகார லோகாதிபதிகளோடும், வானமண்டலங்களிலுள்ள பொல்லாத ஆவிகளின் சேனைகளோடும் நமக்குப் போராட்டம் உண்டு." ( எபேசியர் 6 : 11 12 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

அன்பானவர்களே, பேதுருவுக்காக இயேசு  கிறிஸ்து வேண்டுதல் செய்ததுபோல நாமும் நமக்காகவும் நற்செய்தி அறிவிக்கும் பிறருக்காகவும் வேண்டுதல் செய்யவேண்டியது அவசியம். அத்துடன் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் கூறும் ஆவிக்குரிய போர் ஆயுதங்கள் ( எபேசியர் 6 : 14-17 ) நம்மிடம் மழுங்கிப்போகாமல் சரியாக இருக்கின்றதா என்றும் உறுதி செய்துகொள்ளவேண்டும். அதற்கு முதலில் கிறிஸ்துவின் அன்பில் வேரூன்றியவர்களாக நாம் பலப்படவேண்டும். 

இப்படி நாம் பலப்பட்டுக் குணப்பட்டபின்பு அடுத்தவரைக் குணப்படுத்த சுவிசேஷம் அறிவிக்கவேண்டும். இல்லாவிட்டால் நாம் மாயக்காரர்களாகவே இருப்போம்; நாம் அறியாத கிறிஸ்துவைப் பிறருக்கு அறிவிக்க முயலும் சாதாரண மதவாதியாகவே இருப்போம். இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறினார்,  "மாயக்காரனே! முன்பு உன் கண்ணிலிருக்கிற உத்திரத்தை எடுத்துப்போடு; பின்பு உன் சகோதரன் கண்ணிலிருக்கிற துரும்பை எடுத்துப்போட வகைபார்ப்பாய்." ( மத்தேயு 7 : 5 )

நம்மை நாமே சோதித்துப்பார்த்து நமது கண்ணிலுள்ள உத்திரத்தை எடுத்துப்போட வகைப்பார்ப்போம். மாய்மால வாழ்க்கையை நம்மிடமிருந்து அகற்றிவிட்டு பின்னர் கிறிஸ்துவை அறிவிக்கும் பணியினைத் தொடர்வோம். கிறிஸ்துவை அறிவிப்பது என்பது வேதாகமத்தை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு வீதி வீதியாக அலைவதும், பிரசங்கம் செய்வதும் மட்டுமல்ல, நமது வாழ்க்கை மூலம் அவரை அறிவிப்பதும் நற்செய்தி அறிவித்தலே. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று பெயருக்கு வாழாமல் சீடத்துவ கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்க்கை வாழ முயலுவோம்.

"But I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers." (Luke 22:32)

Before we proclaim the Gospel of Christ to others, it is essential that we first be strengthened in the Christian faith. Otherwise, our gospel proclamations will drift away from reality and become nothing more than the empty rhetoric of an ordinary politician. Many Christian ministers attempt to announce Christ to others before they themselves have undergone a proper spiritual transformation (healing of the soul). In doing so, they sometimes bring harm both to themselves and to those who hear their words.

I knew a brother who would occasionally travel to distant districts to proclaim Christ. Specifically, he frequented many villages in the Thanjavur district for his ministry. However, in his own hometown, he lived a life without a proper Christian testimony. He was involved in activities such as running chit funds and lending money at high interest—actions that are contrary to the commands of Christ. Yet, he would periodically leave for other districts to preach the Good News.

Once, I told him, "There is no connection between the business you do and the Gospel you proclaim. First, surrender yourself to God and pray." He did not agree. He insisted that what he was doing was right, saying, "This is just the business I do; it has nothing to do with my preaching." Furthermore, as I continued to speak with him, it became clear that in his heart, he desired to become famous like other popular ministers. Tragically, one day, he suddenly took his own life.

Today’s meditation verse contains the words Jesus spoke to Peter, the leading apostle, when Satan asked for permission to sift him. The Lord Jesus did not give Satan free rein to destroy Peter. He knew that if the subtle and crafty Satan were given place, he would destroy Peter’s faith.

Yes, dearly beloved, Satan will try in various ways to unsettle our faith. He will place the love of money, the desire for fame, and pride before us. It is vital that we are first strengthened to overcome these things. If Satan intended to sift even Peter—who lived with Christ day and night, eating and drinking with Him—then who are we in comparison?

This is why the Apostle Paul says:

"Put on the full armour of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:11-12)

Beloved, just as Jesus interceded for Peter, it is necessary for us to pray for ourselves and for others who proclaim the Good News. Additionally, we must ensure that the spiritual weapons mentioned by Apostle Paul (Ephesians 6:14-17) are not blunt but are in good condition. To achieve this, we must first be strengthened and rooted in the love of Christ.

After we have been thus strengthened and transformed, we should then proclaim the Gospel to bring healing to others. Otherwise, we will remain hypocrites—mere religionists trying to announce a Christ we do not truly know. Jesus said:

"You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye." (Matthew 7:5)

Let us examine ourselves and seek to remove the log from our own eye. Let us cast away a life of hypocrisy and then continue the work of proclaiming Christ. Proclaiming Christ is not merely wandering the streets with a Bible or delivering a sermon; it is announcing Him through our very lives. Yes, dearly beloved, let us strive to live not just as "Christians" in name, but to live a life of true Christian discipleship.

🦋 Meditation verse - 2 கொரிந்தியர் 9 : 10 / 2 Corinthians 9:10

 💥"ஆதவன்" 🌳தியானம் - எண் 1911 

📆2026 மே 02, சனி  

"விதைக்கிறவனுக்கு விதையையும், புசிக்கிறதற்கு ஆகாரத்தையும் அளிக்கிறவர் உங்களுக்கு விதையை அளித்து, அதைப் பெருகப்பண்ணி, உங்கள் நீதியின் விளைச்சலை வர்த்திக்கச்செய்வார்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 9 : 10 )

நாம் செய்யும் செயல்களுக்கு ஏற்றப் பிரதிபலன்களைக்  கொடுக்கின்றவர் தேவனே. ஒரு விவசாயி விதைக்கின்றானென்றால் அந்தப்பயிர் விளைந்து அவனுக்கு உணவையும் மீன்டும் விதைப்பதற்கான விதைகளையும் கொடுக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். அப்படிச் செய்யவேண்டியது தேவன்தான். அவரே அதைப் பெருகப்பண்ணி, விளைச்சலை வர்த்திக்கச்செய்வார்.

இதுபோலவே நாம் செய்யும் நல்லகாரியங்களுக்கான பிரதிபலன் தேவனால் அளிக்கப்படுகின்றது. இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின் முன்னர் உள்ள வசனங்கள் இதனையே எடுத்துக்கூறுகின்றன. 

"மேலும், நீங்கள் எல்லாவற்றிலும் எப்பொழுதும் சம்பூரணமுடையவர்களாயும், சகலவித நற்கிரியைகளிலும் பெருகுகிறவர்களாயுமிருக்கும்படியாக, தேவன் உங்களிடத்தில் சகலவித கிருபையையும் பெருகச்செய்ய வல்லவராயிருக்கிறார். வாரியிறைத்தான், ஏழைகளுக்குக் கொடுத்தான், அவனுடைய நீதி என்றென்றைக்கும் நிற்கும் என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறபடியாகும்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 9 : 8, 9 ) என்று நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

அதாவது, நாம் ஒரு தர்ம காரியத்துக்கு உதவுவதும் நற்செயல்கள் செய்வதும் நாம் விதைக்கும் விதைகள். அப்படி நாம் விதைக்கும்போது, விதைக்கிறவனுக்கு விதையையும், புசிக்கிறதற்கு ஆகாரத்தையும் அளிக்கிறவர் நமக்கு வேண்டிய விதையை அளித்து, அதைப் பெருகப்பண்ணி, நமது  நீதியின் விளைச்சலை வர்த்திக்கச்செய்வார்.

இதனையே நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும், "கொடுங்கள், அப்பொழுது உங்களுக்கும் கொடுக்கப்படும்; அமுக்கிக் குலுக்கிச் சரிந்து விழும்படி நன்றாய் அளந்து, உங்கள் மடியிலே போடுவார்கள்; நீங்கள் எந்த அளவினால் அளக்கிறீர்களோ அந்த அளவினால் உங்களுக்கும் அளக்கப்படும் என்றார்." ( லுூக்கா 6 : 38 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தை அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் குறிப்பாக பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்கு கொடுத்தல் பற்றி கூறும்போதுதான் கூறுகின்றார் ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 9 : 1 ). அதாவது, விசுவாசமார்க்கத்தில் இருக்கும் ஏழைகளுக்குக் கொடுப்பது பற்றி கூறும்போது கூறுகின்றார். ஆனால் பழைய ஏற்பாடுபோல பத்தில் ஒன்று கொடுக்கவேண்டும் என்று கூறாமல், நமது மனதில் நாம் எண்ணியுள்ளபடி மன மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் கொடுக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம் என்கின்றார். "அவனவன் விசனமாயுமல்ல, கட்டாயமாயுமல்ல, தன் மனதில் நியமித்தபடியே கொடுக்கக்கடவன்; உற்சாகமாய்க் கொடுக்கிறவனிடத்தில் தேவன் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறார்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 9 : 7 )

ஆனால் நாம் இப்படிக் கொடுப்பதால் தேவன் நமக்குப் பலமடங்காகத் திருப்பித் தருவார் என்று எதிர்பார்ப்புடன் கொடுக்காமல் உண்மையான அன்புடன் கொடுக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். அப்படியல்லாமல் நாம் பிரதிபலனை எதிர்பார்த்துக் கொடுப்போமென்றால் அதனால் எந்தப் பயனும் இருக்காது. சாதாரண தர்ம காரியம்தான்; ஆனால் தேவன் அதற்குள் பல நிபந்தனைகளை வைத்துள்ளார். இதனை உணர்ந்தவர்களாக நாம் உதவிகள் செய்யவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  

"எனக்கு உண்டான யாவற்றையும் நான் அன்னதானம்பண்ணினாலும், என் சரீரத்தைச் சுட்டெரிக்கப்படுவதற்குக் கொடுத்தாலும், அன்பு எனக்கிராவிட்டால் எனக்குப் பிரயோஜனம் ஒன்றுமில்லை." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 13 : 3 ) என்று கூறியுள்ளபடி நாம் செய்யும் தர்ம காரியங்கள் அன்பினால் ஏவப்பட்டுச் செய்யப்படுபையாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

விதைக்கிறவனுக்கு விதையையும், புசிக்கிறதற்கு ஆகாரத்தையும் அளிக்கிறவர் நாம் செய்யும் அன்புச் செயல்களுக்கேற்ப நமக்குப் பிரதிபலனைத் தருவார். விதை விதைக்கும் விவசாயிக்கு அதனைப் பெருகப்பண்ணுவதுபோல நமக்கு அவர் நமது வாழ்வில் நீதியின் விளைச்சலை வர்த்திக்கச்செய்வார்.

"Now He who supplies seed to the Sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness." (2 Corinthians 9:10)

It is God who gives the appropriate rewards for the actions we perform. When a farmer sows, it is essential that the crop yields both food for his consumption and seeds for his next planting. It is God’s role to ensure this happens; He is the one who causes it to multiply and increases the harvest.

In the same way, the rewards for the good deeds we perform are granted by God. The verses preceding today’s meditation passage emphasizes this:

"And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed; as it is written, 'He scattered abroad, he gave to the poor, His righteousness endures forever.'" (2 Corinthians 9:8–9)

The acts of charity we assist with and the good deeds we perform are the "seeds" we sow. When we sow in this manner, He who supplies seed to the Sower and bread for food will provide us with the necessary seed, multiply it, and increase the harvest of our righteousness.

Our Lord Jesus Christ also spoke of this principle:

"Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return." (Luke 6:38)

The Apostle Paul wrote today's meditation verse specifically while discussing the ministry of giving to the saints (2 Corinthians 9:1)—that is, giving to the poor within the household of faith. However, he does not mandate a tithe of one-tenth as in the Old Testament; rather, he emphasizes that we must give with a joyful heart, as we have purposed in our own minds.

"Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." (2 Corinthians 9:7)

It is vital that we give out of sincere love, rather than giving with the calculated expectation that God will return it to us many times over. If we give solely to receive a reward, there is no spiritual benefit. While charity seems simple, God has placed spiritual conditions within it. We must provide help with this realization.

As it is written:

"And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing." (1 Corinthians 13:3)

Our acts of charity must be motivated and driven by love. He who supplies seed to the Sower and bread for food will reward us according to our acts of love. Just as He multiplies the yield for the farmer who sows seed, He will increase the harvest of righteousness in our lives.
