 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1796                                  🔆 ஆதவன் 07.01.2026 புதன்   

"நான் அடைந்தாயிற்று, அல்லது முற்றும் தேறினவனானேன் என்று எண்ணாமல், கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவினால் நான் எதற்காகப் பிடிக்கப்பட்டேனோ அதை நான் பிடித்துக்கொள்ளும்படி ஆசையாய்த் தொடருகிறேன்". (பிலிப்பியர் 3:12)

ஒரு மனிதனின் வளர்ச்சி அவனது மனதின் அடிப்படையிலேயே இருக்கும். நாம்  ஏதாவது ஒரு காரியத்தில் முழுமை அடைந்துவிட்டோம்  என்று எண்ணுவோமானால்  நமது வளர்ச்சியும் அத்துடன் நின்றுவிடும். ஒரு பானையில் தண்ணீர் பிடிக்கின்றோம் என்று வைத்துக்கொள்வோம், அந்தப் பானை நிறைந்துவிட்டது என்றால் அதற்குமேல் அதனில் நாம் நீர் நிரப்ப முடியாது அல்லவா?. 

ஆவிக்குரிய காரியத்திலிலும் இப்படியே இருக்கின்றது. ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கை மிகப்பெரிய கடலைப் போன்றது. அதன் முழுமையினை  யாரும் அடைந்திடமுடியாது. அனுதினமும் நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் வளர்ந்துகொண்டே இருக்கவேண்டும். 

ஒரு சில ஆவிக்குரிய கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் தங்களது வேத அறிவைப் பெருமையாகக் கருதி, 'நான் வேதாகமத்தை ஐந்து முறை வாசித்துவிட்டேன், ஏழுமுறை வாசித்துவிட்டேன்; வசன எண்ணைக் கூறினால் அந்த வசனத்தைச் சொல்லுவேன்" என்று பெருமையடைவதுண்டு. எத்தனைமுறை வேதாகமத்தை வாசித்தோம் என்பதல்ல, அப்படி வாசித்தததால் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய உள்ளான வாழ்வு எந்த அளவு வளர்ச்சியடைந்துள்ளது என்பதே முக்கியம். தேவ ஐக்கியமில்லாத வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்துகொண்டு எத்தனை முறை வேதாகமத்தை வாசித்தாலும் அதனால் எந்தப் பயனுமில்லை.  அது சிலர் போட்டிக்காக திருக்குறளை படித்து ஒப்பிப்பதுபோலவே இருக்கும்.

வேதாகம வாசிப்பு நம்மில் எந்த அளவு ஆவிக்குரிய தேறுதலைக் கொடுத்துள்ளது? வேதாகமத்தை வாசிப்பதல்ல, அதைவிட தேவனால் நாம் எந்த நோக்கத்துக்காகப்   பிடிக்கப்பட்டோமோ அந்த இலக்கை நாம் அடைந்திடவேண்டும் என்பதே முக்கியம். எழுதப் படிக்கத்தெரியாத பலர் மிகச் சிறந்த ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கை வாழவில்லையா? எனவேதான், "நான் அடைந்தாயிற்று, அல்லது முற்றும் தேறினவனானேன் என்று எண்ணாமல், கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவினால் நான் எதற்காகப் பிடிக்கப்பட்டேனோ அதை நான் பிடித்துக்கொள்ளும்படி ஆசையாய்த் தொடருகிறேன்" என்கின்றார் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர். 

நமது இலக்கு எத்தனை முறை வேதாகமத்தை வாசித்தோம் என்பதோ, எத்தனை ஆவிக்குரிய கூட்டங்களில் கலந்துகொண்டோம் என்பதோ, எத்தனைமுறை உபவாசம் இருந்தோம் என்பதோ அல்ல; மாறாக, ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை அடைவதுதான். நமது ஆவிக்குரிய ஓட்டம் அவரை அடைந்துகொள்வதற்கான ஓட்டமாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். "சகோதரரே, அதைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டேனென்று நான் எண்ணுகிறதில்லை; ஒன்று செய்கிறேன், பின்னானவைகளை மறந்து, முன்னானவைகளை நாடி, கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் தேவன் அழைத்த பரம அழைப்பின் பந்தயப்பொருளுக்காக இலக்கை நோக்கித் தொடருகிறேன்". (பிலிப்பியர் 3:13, 14) என்ற பவுல் அடிகளின் சிந்தை நமக்கு இருக்கவேண்டும். 

நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் தேறியுள்ளோம் என்பதற்கு நம்மில் உருவாகும் இத்தகைய சிந்தைதான் அடையாளம். "ஆகையால், நம்மில் தேறினவர்கள் யாவரும் இந்தச் சிந்தையாயிருக்கக்கடவோம்; எந்தக் காரியத்திலாவது நீங்கள் வேறே சிந்தையாயிருந்தால், அதையும் தேவன் உங்களுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்துவார்". (பிலிப்பியர் 3:15)

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, நமது சில சில ஆவிக்குரிய செயல்[பாடுகளை எண்ணி நாமே பெருமையடைந்திடாமல் தேறிய ஆவிக்குரிய மனிதர்களாக மாற முயலுவோம். பல கிறிஸ்தவ சபைப் பிரிவுகளில் சபை விசுவாசிகளின் ஆவிக்குரிய செயல்பாடுகளின் எண்ணிக்கைக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்து அவர்களை மேன்மையாகக் கருதுகின்றார்கள். தேவன் எண்ணிக்கையையல்ல, மாறாக விசுவாசிகளின் ஆவிக்குரிய தரத்தை எடைபோடுகின்றார். நமது செயல்பாடுகளின் எண்ணிக்கையல்ல, அவற்றில் எந்த அளவு அன்புகலந்து செய்தோம் என்பதே தேவனுக்கு முக்கியம். 

எனவே நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் முற்றும் தேறிவிட்டோம் என்று எண்ணாமல், கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவினால் நாம் எந்த நோக்கத்துக்காகப் பிடிக்கப்பட்டோமோ அதை நாம்  பிடித்துக்கொள்ளும்படி ஆசையாய் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வைத் தொடருவோம்.

🔆 AATHAVAN – Wednesday, 07.01.2026

“Not that I have already grasped it all or have already become perfect, but I press on if I may also take hold of that for which I was even taken hold of by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:12)

A person’s growth is always determined by the condition of his mind. The moment we assume that we have already attained completeness in any matter, our growth comes to a halt. Consider a pot being filled with water—once it is full, no more water can be added.

The same principle applies to spiritual matters. Spiritual life is like a vast ocean; no one can ever claim to have attained its fullness. Therefore, we must continue to grow in our spiritual life every single day.

Some Christians take pride in their biblical knowledge and say, “I have read the Bible five times, seven times; if you mention the verse number, I can quote the verse.” But what truly matters is not how many times we have read the Bible, but how much our inner spiritual life has grown as a result of that reading. Reading the Bible without living in fellowship with God brings no real benefit. It becomes no different from memorizing classical literature like “Thiru Kural” merely for competition.

The real question is this: How much spiritual maturity has the reading of the Bible produced in us? More than reading itself, it is essential that we attain the purpose for which God has taken hold of us. Have there not been many illiterate people who lived profoundly deep spiritual lives? That is why the Apostle Paul says:

“Not that I have already grasped it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may take hold of that for which I was also taken hold of by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:12)

Our goal is not how many times we have read the Bible, how many spiritual meetings we have attended, or how many times we have fasted. Rather, our goal is to attain Christ Jesus Himself. Our spiritual race must always be a race toward Him.

“Brothers and sisters, I do not regard myself as having taken hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13–14)

This mindset of the Apostle Paul should be ours as well.

Such a mindset is the true evidence that we have attained spiritual maturity.

“Therefore, all who are mature are to have this attitude; and if in anything you have a different attitude, God will reveal that to you as well.” (Philippians 3:15)

Therefore, beloved, let us not boast about our limited spiritual activities, but strive to become truly mature spiritual people. In many Christian denominations, believers are often valued based on the number of their spiritual activities. But God does not measure numbers; He weighs the quality of a believer’s spiritual life. What matters to God is not the quantity of our works, but the extent to which they are done in love.

So, let us not think that we have already attained perfection in our spiritual life. Instead, with earnest desire, let us continue our spiritual journey so that we may take hold of that very purpose for which Christ Jesus has taken hold of us.

🦋 Meditation verse - ஆமோஸ் 9 : 7 / Amos 9:7

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1795                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 06.01.2026 செவ்வாய்  

"இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரே, நீங்கள் எனக்கு எத்தியோப்பியரின் புத்திரரைப்போல் இருக்கிறீர்கள் அல்லவோ என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; நான் இஸ்ரவேலை எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்தும், பெலிஸ்தரைக் கப்தோரிலிருந்தும், சீரியரைக் கீரிலிருந்தும் கொண்டுவரவில்லையோ?" ( ஆமோஸ் 9 : 7 )

தேவன் அனைவரையும் ஒரேவிதமாக நேசிக்கின்றார்; பெருமை எண்ணம் நமக்கு இருக்குமானால் நாம் தேவனை அறியமுடியாது எனும் உண்மைகளை இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நமக்கு விளக்குகின்றது. 

இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்குத் தங்களைப்பற்றிய ஒரு பெருமை இருந்தது. அதாவது, தாங்கள்தான் தேவனால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்கள்,  மற்றவர்கள் அனைவரும் தேவனை அறியாத புற இனத்தவர்கள், எனவே தேவன் தங்களைத்தான் அதிகம் நேசிக்கின்றார் என்பதுதான் அந்தப் பெருமை. 

ஆனால், தேவன் அப்படி மனிதர்களுக்குள் வேறுபாடு பார்ப்பதில்லை.  அவர் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை மட்டுமல்ல, அனைவரையும் நேசிக்கின்றார். தேவன் பிற இனத்து மக்களையும் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை எகிப்திலிருந்து விடுவித்ததுபோல அவர்களது வெவ்வேறு அடிமைத்தனங்களிலிருந்து  விடுத்துள்ளார். எனவே இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களே நீங்கள் பெருமைபாராட்டவேண்டாம் என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். நீங்கள் எனக்கு வெறும் எத்தியோப்பியரின் புத்திரரைப்போலவே  இருக்கிறீர்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.  மட்டுமல்ல, நான் உங்களை எகிப்திலிருந்து விடுவித்ததுபோல  பெலிஸ்தரைக் கப்தோரிலிருந்தும், சீரியரைக் கீரிலிருந்தும் கொண்டுவரவில்லையோ? என்று கேட்கின்றார். 

அதாவது உங்களை மட்டுமல்ல, நான் மற்ற இனத்து  மக்களையும் உங்களை நேசிப்பதுபோல நேசிப்பதால் நான் அவர்களையும் விடுவித்துள்ளேன் என்கின்றார். இஸ்ரவேலரின் வரலாறு நமக்கு எடுத்துக் கூறப்பட்டதுபோல மற்றவர்களின் வரலாறு நமக்குக் கூறப்படாததால்  நாம் இதனை அறியாமல் இருக்கின்றோம். ஆம், இஸ்ரவேலரே நீங்கள் பெருமை பாராட்டவேண்டாம் நீங்கள் எனக்கு எத்தியோப்பியரின் புத்திரரைப்போல் இருக்கிறீர்கள் அல்லவோ என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் தேவன் தனக்கு வெளிப்படுத்திய இரகசியம் என்று கூறுகின்றார். "அதென்னவெனில் புறஜாதிகள் சுவிசேஷத்தினாலே உடன்சுதந்தரருமாய், ஒரே சரீரத்திற்குள்ளானவர்களுமாய், கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் அவர் பண்ணின வாக்குத்தத்தத்துக்கு உடன்பங்காளிகளுமாய் இருக்கிறார்களென்கிற இந்த இரகசியத்தை அவர் எனக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தி அறிவித்தார்." ( எபேசியர் 3 : 3 ) என்கின்றார். 

யூதர்களை தேவன் நேசிப்பதுபோல மற்றவர்களையும் நேசிக்கின்றார். ஆம், "யூதனென்றும் கிரேக்கனென்றும் வித்தியாசமே இல்லை; எல்லாருக்குங் கர்த்தரானவர் தம்மைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகிற யாவருக்கும் ஐசுவரியசம்பன்னராயிருக்கிறார்." (ரோமர் 10:12) மேலும்,  "யூதனென்றும் கிரேக்கனென்றுமில்லை, அடிமையென்றும் சுயாதீனனென்றுமில்லை, ஆணென்றும் பெண்ணென்றுமில்லை; நீங்களெல்லாரும் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் ஒன்றாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்." (கலாத்தியர் 3:28)  என்று நாம்  வாசிக்கின்றோம்.

நாங்கள்தான் வேதத்தை உருவாக்கியவர்கள், நாங்கள்தான் தேவனோடு பேசியவர்கள்,  என்று பெருமை பாராட்டிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் யூதர்கள் அந்தப் பெருமையினால் இன்றுவரை மெய்யான மேசியாவைக் கண்டுகொள்ளவில்லை.  ஆம், "அப்படியானால் என்ன? இஸ்ரவேலர் தேடுகிறதை அடையாமலிருக்கிறார்கள்; தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களோ அதை அடைந்திருக்கிறார்கள்; மற்றவர்கள் இன்றையத்தினம்வரைக்கும் கடினப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்கள்." (ரோமர் 11:7) ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவனால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட இஸ்ரவேலரால் புறஇனத்தவர்கள் எனக் கருதப்படும் நாம் கிறிஸ்துவாகிய மேசியாவைக் கண்டுகொண்டுள்ளோம்.  

தேவனை அறிந்துகொள்ள மேலான இறையியல் அறிவோ, வம்ச பெருமையோ உதவாது. தாழ்மையான உள்ளமே தேவனை நாம் வாழ்வில் அறிந்துகொள்ள உதவும். நமது  வேதஅறிவு,  படிப்பு, பதவி, பணம் இவைகளைக்குறித்த பெருமை நமக்கு இருக்குமானால் இஸ்ரவேலரைப்போல நாமும் கிறிஸ்துவை வாழ்வில் அறியாதவர்களாகவே இருப்போம்.

🔆 AATHAVAN – Tuesday, 06.01.2026

“Are you not as the sons of Ethiopia to Me, O sons of Israel?” declares the LORD. “Have I not brought Israel up from the land of Egypt, and the Philistines from Caphtor and the Arameans from Kir?” (Amos 9:7)

Today’s meditation verse explains a profound truth: God loves all people equally, and if pride is found within us, we cannot truly know God.

The people of Israel had a sense of pride about themselves. They believed that they alone were chosen by God, that all others were Gentiles who did not know God, and therefore God loved only them more than anyone else.

But God does not show partiality among human beings. He loves not only the people of Israel, but all people. Just as He delivered Israel from Egypt, He has also delivered people of other nations from their various forms of bondage. Therefore, the Lord God says to Israel, “Do not boast.” He declares, “You are to Me just like the sons of Ethiopia.” Moreover, He asks, “Did I not bring Israel up from Egypt, the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Arameans from Kir?”

In other words, God says: Just as I love you, I love the people of other nations also; therefore, I have delivered them as well. The history of Israel is recorded for us in Scripture, whereas the histories of other nations are not described in detail; hence, we may not be aware of them. Yet the Lord clearly declares, “O Israel, do not be proud. Are you not like the sons of Ethiopia to Me?”

The apostle Paul refers to this truth as a mystery revealed to him by God:

“That by revelation there was made known to me the mystery… that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.” (Ephesians 3:3, 6)

God loves others just as He loves the Jews. Yes, “For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him.” (Romans 10:12)

And again, we read:

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:28)

The Jews, who take pride in saying, “We are the ones who gave the Scriptures; we are the ones who spoke with God,” have, because of that very pride, failed to recognize the true Messiah even to this day. Indeed,

“What then? What Israel is seeking, it has not obtained, but those who were chosen obtained it, and the rest were hardened.” (Romans 11:7)

Yes, beloved, while we are considered Gentiles by the Israelites, we have come to know Christ, the Messiah, by God’s choosing.

Superior theological knowledge or ancestral pride does not help us to know God. Only a humble heart enables us to truly know God in our daily life. If we take pride in our biblical knowledge, education, position, or wealth, then like Israel, we too will remain people who do not truly know Christ in our lives.

🦋 Meditation verse - 1 தீமோத்தேயு 6 : 5 / 1 Timothy 6: 5

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1794                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 05.01.2026 திங்கள்            

"கெட்டச்  சிந்தையுள்ளவர்களும் சத்தியமில்லாதவர்களும் தேவபக்தியை ஆதாயத்தொழிலென்று எண்ணுகிறவர்களுமாய் இருக்கிற மனுஷர்களால் மாறுபாடான தர்க்கங்களும் பிறக்கும்; இப்படிப்பட்டவர்களை விட்டு விலகு." ( 1 தீமோத்தேயு 6 : 5 )

எந்தக் காலத்தையும்விடப் புத்தாண்டு ஆரம்பத்தில் இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதுபோன்ற சிந்தனையுள்ள மனிதர்களை நாம் அதிகம் காணலாம். இன்றைய தியான வசனம் இவர்களை நாம் இனம்கண்டு நம்மைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளவே எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளது. நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கையினை சிறப்பாக வாழ்வதற்குப் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர் கூறும் சில ஆலோசனைகளை நாம் தியானிக்கலாம்.  

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில், கெட்டச் சிந்தனை உள்ளவர்கள், உண்மையில்லாதவர்கள், மக்களது தேவ பக்தியைத் தங்களுக்கு ஆதாயம் தரக்கூடிய தொழிலாக பயன்படுத்தி பணம் சம்பாதிப்பவர்கள் இவர்களை நாம் விட்டுவிலகிடவேண்டும் என்கிறார் பவுல். ஏன் இவர்களை விட்டு விலகிடவேண்டும் என்றால் இவர்களால், மாறுபாடான தர்க்கங்கள் உருவாகும் என்கிறார் அவர். 

இத்தகைய மனிதர்களை நாம் அடையாளம் கண்டுகொள்ள முதலில் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய கண்கள் திறக்கப்படவேண்டும். மேலும், சபை  பாகுபாடு இல்லாமல்  அடிப்படை வேத  சத்தியங்களை உணர்ந்துகொள்ளும் ஆர்வம் நமக்கு இருக்கவேண்டும். அப்படி இருக்கும்போது மட்டுமே நாம், யார்  கெட்டச் சிந்தனை உள்ளவர்கள், உண்மையில்லாதவர்கள், மக்களது தேவ பக்தியைத் தங்களுக்கு ஆதாயம் தரக்கூடிய தொழிலாக பயன்படுத்தி பணம் சம்பாதிப்பவர்கள் என்பதனைக் கண்டுகொள்ளமுடியும். 

இத்தகைய மனிதர்களோடு நாம் கலந்திருப்போமானால் அவர்களது செயல்பாடுகள் மெய்யான ஆவிக்குரிய மனிதர்களுக்கு முரண்பாடாகத் தெரியும். எனவே அவர்களோடு உண்மை நிலைமையினை நாம் விளக்கும்போது தர்க்கங்கள் உருவாகும். இது நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வளர்ச்சியினைப் பாதிக்கும். எனவே நாம் இவர்களை விட்டு விலகவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  

ஆனால் எப்படி இருந்தாலும், இப்படி வேதத்துக்கு  "எதிர்பேசுகிறவர்கள் சத்தியத்தை அறியும்படி தேவன் அவர்களுக்கு மனந்திரும்புதலை அருளத்தக்கதாகவும்,  பிசாசானவனுடைய இச்சையின்படி செய்ய அவனால் பிடிபட்டிருக்கிற அவர்கள் மறுபடியும் மயக்கந்தெளிந்து அவன் கண்ணிக்கு நீங்கத்தக்கதாகவும், சாந்தமாய் அவர்களுக்கு உபதேசிக்கவேண்டும்." ( 2 தீமோத்தேயு 2 : 25-26 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார் பவுல்.

மேலும், இத்தகைய தவறான உபதேசம் செய்யும் மனிதர்களை வேத புரட்டர்கள் என்று கூறுகின்றார் பவுல். ஆம், "வேதப்புரட்டனாயிருக்கிற ஒருவனுக்கு நீ இரண்டொருதரம் புத்தி சொன்னபின்பு அவனைவிட்டு விலகு." (தீத்து 3:10)  

இன்று பல கிறிஸ்தவ ஊழியர்கள் இப்படியே வேத புரட்டர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர். நம்மால் முடியுமானால் இவர்களுக்கு வேதம் கூறும் உண்மையின்படி போதிக்கவும் வாழவும் நாம் அறிவுறுத்தலாம். அது முடியாதென்றால் இவர்களை விட்டு நாம் விலகி இருப்பது நலம். சத்தியம் தெரிந்தும் இவர்களை ஆதரிப்போமானால் நாமும்  இவர்களது தவறான வேத  புரட்டுக்கு ஆதரவாளர்கள் என்பதை உறுதிப்படுத்துவதுடன் நமக்குத் தேவ ஆசீர்வாதம் கிடைப்பதற்கு நாமே தடையாக இருப்போம். எனவே, புத்திச் சொல்லக் கூடுமானால்,  இவர்களுக்குப் புத்திச் சொல்வோம்; முடியாதென்றால் புத்தி சொல்லாமலே அத்தகைய மனிதர்களை விட்டு விலகுவோம்.

📖 Bible Meditation No. 1794
🔆 AATHAVAN – Monday, 05.01.2026

“Perverse disputing of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.” (1 Timothy 6: 5)

Especially at the beginning of a new year, we tend to encounter many people whose thinking reflects what today’s meditation verse describes. This Scripture meditation is written to help us recognize such people and guard ourselves. In order to live a healthy spiritual life, let us reflect on a few exhortations given by the Apostle Paul.

In today’s meditation verse, Paul clearly instructs us to withdraw from people who have corrupt minds, who are devoid of truth, and who misuse the godliness of others as a means of personal gain to make money. The reason he gives is this: such people give rise to constant disputes and distorted arguments.

To identify such individuals, our spiritual eyes must first be opened. We must also possess a sincere desire to understand the truth at its core, without partiality or denominational bias within the church. Only then will we be able to discern who truly have corrupt minds, who lack truth, and who exploit godliness as a profitable business.

When we associate closely with such people, their actions will inevitably appear contrary to genuine spiritual living. As a result, whenever we attempt to explain the truth to them, arguments and controversies arise. This, in turn, hinders our spiritual growth. Therefore, it is necessary that we distance ourselves from such individuals.

Yet, Paul also teaches us the manner in which we should approach those who oppose the truth:

“…..with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will.” (2 Timothy 2:25–26)

Furthermore, Paul refers to those who persist in spreading false teaching as factious or heretical persons. He instructs: “Reject a factious man after a first and second warning.” (Titus 3:10)

Today, many Christian workers unfortunately fall into this category of false teachers. If possible, we should lovingly exhort them to teach and live according to biblical truth. If that is not possible, it is wise for us to withdraw from them. Supporting such people, even after knowing the truth, not only makes us participants in their error but also becomes an obstacle to receiving God’s blessings in our own lives.

Therefore, if we are able, let us admonish them in love. If not, let us refrain from unnecessary argument and simply separate ourselves from such individuals.

Even animals, which possess only basic instincts, do not consume food that is harmful to them. How much more, then, should we—spiritual people endowed with understanding—be eager to partake only in good and nourishing spiritual food!

🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 61 : 7 / Isaiah 61:7

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1793                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 04 .01.2026 ஞாயிறு           

"உங்கள் வெட்கத்துக்குப் பதிலாக இரண்டத்தனையாய்ப் பலன் வரும்; இலச்சைக்குப் பதிலாகத் தங்கள் பாகத்தில் சந்தோஷப்படுவார்கள்; அதினிமித்தம் தங்கள் தேசத்தில் இரட்டிப்பான சுதந்தரம் அடைவார்கள்; நித்திய மகிழ்ச்சி அவர்களுக்கு உண்டாகும்." ( ஏசாயா 61 : 7 )

தேவனுடைய மெய்யான அசீர்வாதம் நமக்கு நமக்கு உண்டாகும்போது நமது வாழ்வில் பெரிய மாறுதல் ஏற்படுவதை நாம் காண முடியும். இந்த உலகத்தில் செல்வமும் வசதியும் பதவியும் உள்ளவர்களையே பலரும் மதிக்கின்றனர். மட்டுமல்ல, பலர் தங்கள் உறவினர்களில் வசதி குறைந்தவர்களைக்கூட மதிப்பதில்லை. அப்படி மதிப்புக் குறைவாக நடத்தப்படுவது அந்த எளிய மனிதர்களுக்கு வெட்கத்தை உண்டாக்குகின்றது. 

பல்வேறு செழிப்புகளை வாழ்வில் அனுபவித்த யோபு, தனது ஏழ்மை நிலையில் ஏற்பட்ட அவமானத்தைப் பின்வருமாறு கூறுவதை நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம்;- 

"எனக்கு அறிமுகமானவர்கள் எனக்கு அந்நியராய்ப் போனார்கள். என் பந்துஜனங்கள் விலகிப்போனார்கள். என் சிநேகிதர் என்னை மறந்துவிட்டார்கள். என் வீட்டு ஜனங்களும், என் வேலைக்காரிகளும், என்னை அந்நியனாக எண்ணுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் பார்வைக்கு நான் பரதேசியானேன். நான் என் வேலைக்காரனைக் கூப்பிடுகிறபோது அவன் எனக்கு உத்தரவு கொடான்; என் வாயினால் நான் அவனைக் கெஞ்சவேண்டியதாயிற்று." ( யோபு 19 : 13-16 )

அன்பானவர்களே, இத்தகைய நிலைமை ஒருவருக்கு ஏற்படும்போது அது எத்தகைய அவமானகரமான காரியமாக இருக்குமென்று எண்ணிப்பாருங்கள். எனக்குத் தெரிந்த நண்பர் ஒருவர் எந்த மனிதரோடும் அதிகம் பேசுவதில்லை; யார் எந்த விழாவுக்கு அழைப்பிதழ் கொடுத்தாலும் கலந்துகொள்வதில்லை. நானும் அவரைக்குறித்துத் தவறுதலாக எண்ணியிருந்தேன்.  ஒருமுறை அவரோடு மனம்திறந்து பேசக்கூடிய வாய்ப்புக் கிடைத்தது. அப்போதுதான் எனக்கு அவரது இந்த நிலைமையின் காரணம் புரிந்தது. மிகச்சிறப்பான வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்த அவர் இப்போது மிக ஏழ்மை நிலையில் இருக்கின்றார். குடியிருப்பதுகூட வாடகைவீடுதான். ஆனால் அவரைப் பார்க்கும்போது வறுமை தெரியாது.   

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, யோபுவைப் போல மனதளவில் வெகுவாக  அவமானத்தைச் சந்தித்திருந்தார் அவர். எனவே, ஒதுங்கியே வாழ்ந்து வருகின்றார்.    இப்போது சில கிறிஸ்தவ சகோதரர்கள் அவரைக் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள்  வழிநடத்திக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றார்கள்.  எனவே, இப்பொது மனதளவில் அவர் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் மகிழ்ச்சியாகவே இருக்கின்றார் என்பதனை அறிந்தேன். "உங்கள் வெட்கத்துக்குப் பதிலாக இரண்டத்தனையாய்ப் பலன் வரும்; இலச்சைக்குப் பதிலாகத் தங்கள் பாகத்தில் சந்தோஷப்படுவார்கள்" எனும் தேவ வார்த்தைகள் அவரை விசுவாசம்கொள்ள  வைத்துள்ளன. இந்த வார்த்தைகளின் ஊக்கத்தால் இப்பொது தனது தாழ்மை நிலையிலும் மகிழ்ச்சியாக விசுவாசத்துடன் வாழ்கின்றார். 

இன்று பல மனிதர்கள் இப்படி அவமானத்துக்குள்ளான வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர். பல தற்கொலைகள் இந்த அவமானத்தால் நிகழ்வதை நாம் தினசரி செய்தித்தாள்களில் வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

எனவே, இதை வாசிக்கும் நண்பர்கள் இன்று ஒருவேளை இதே நிலைமையில் இருந்தாலும் இப்படி அவமானமோ, மனமடிதாலோ அடையத் தேவையில்லை. காரணம் வாழ்வளிக்கும் தேவ வார்த்தைகள் நமக்கு உண்டு. விசுவாசத்தால் தேவ வார்த்தைகளை ஏற்றுக்கொண்ட யோபுவின் வாழ்க்கை ஆசீர்வாதம் பெறவில்லையா? ஆம், "கர்த்தர் யோபின் முன்னிலைமையைப் பார்க்கிலும் அவன் பின்னிலைமையை ஆசீர்வதித்தார்". ( யோபு 42 : 12 ) என்று கூறியுள்ளபடி  வெட்கத்துக்குப் பதிலாக இரண்டத்தனையாய்ப் பலன் வரும்; இலச்சைக்குப் பதிலாகத் சந்தோஷம் ஏற்படும்; இரட்டிப்பான சுதந்தரமும்  நித்திய மகிழ்ச்சியும்  நிச்சயம் உண்டாகும்.

📖 Scripture Meditation No. 1793                                                                                                             🔆 AATHAVAN | Sunday, January 04, 2026

"Instead of your shame you will have a double portion, and instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion. Therefore, they will possess a double portion in their land, everlasting joy will be theirs." (Isaiah 61:7)

When God’s true blessing comes upon us, we can witness a great transformation in our lives. In this world, many people respect only those who possess wealth, comfort, and high positions. Furthermore, many do not even value their own relatives if they lack financial means. Being treated with such low regard brings deep shame to those humble individuals.

We read about Job, who once enjoyed various forms of prosperity, describing the humiliation he faced during his time of poverty as follows:

"………….. my acquaintances are completely estranged from me. My relatives have failed, and my close friends have forgotten me. Those who live in my house and my female slaves consider me a stranger. I am a foreigner in their sight. I call to my servant, but he does not answer; I have to implore him with my mouth." (Job 19:13-16)

Beloved, imagine how shameful it is when such a situation befalls someone. I have a friend who does not speak much with anyone; he never attends any functions, even when invited. I, too, had misunderstood him. However, once I had the opportunity to speak with him openly, I understood the reason for his behaviour. Having once lived a very grand life, he is now in a state of extreme poverty. He lives in a rented house, though his appearance does not outwardly betray his struggle.

Like Job, he had encountered deep emotional humiliation. Consequently, he chose to live in isolation. Now, some Christian brothers are guiding him toward Christ. I learned that he is now mentally happy in Christ. The divine words, "Instead of your shame you will have a double portion, and instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion," have led him to have faith. Inspired by these words, he now lives with joy and faith even in his humble state.

Today, many people are living lives filled with such shame. We read in daily newspapers that many suicides occur because of this humiliation.

Therefore, friends who are reading this, even if you are in a similar situation today, there is no need to feel ashamed or discouraged. This is because we have the life-giving Word of God. Did not the life of Job, who accepted God’s words through faith, receive a blessing? Yes, just as it is written: "The Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning" (Job 42:12). Instead of shame, a double reward will come; instead of humiliation, joy will arise. A double inheritance and eternal joy will surely be yours.

🦋 Meditation verse - சங்கீதம் 78: 70 / Psalm 78:70

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1792                                    🔆 ஆதவன் 03 .01.2026 சனி        

   

"தம்முடைய தாசனாகிய தாவீதைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு, ஆட்டுத்தொழுவங்களிலிருந்து அவனை எடுத்தார்." ( சங்கீதம் 78: 70)

"தெரிந்தெடுத்தல்" (Select) "தேர்வுசெய்தல்" (Elect) எனும் இரு வார்த்தைகளும் பார்வைக்கு ஒன்றுபோலத் தெரிந்தாலும் இரண்டுக்கும் மிகுந்த வேறுபாடு உண்டு. "தெரிந்தெடுத்தல்" என்பது இருக்கும் பல பொருள்களிலிருந்து விரும்பும் ஒன்றை நாம் தெரிந்து கொள்வது. தேர்வு செய்தல் என்பது குறிக்கப்பட்ட மக்களிலிருந்து ஒருவரை நாம் தேர்ந்தெடுப்பது.  நாம் தேர்தல்களில் நமக்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்ட வேட்பாளர்களிலிருந்து ஒருவரை தேர்வு செய்கின்றோம். 

தேவன் எப்போதுமே தனக்கு வேண்டிய மனிதர்களை தெரிந்திடுகின்றார். அவர் தேர்வு செய்வதில்லை. மனிதர்களது உள்ளான மனம் அவருக்குத் தெரிவதால் அவர் மனிதர்களை இப்படித் தெரிந்தெடுக்கின்றார். இப்படியே அவர், தம்முடைய தாசனாகிய தாவீதைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு, ஆட்டுத்தொழுவங்களிலிருந்து அவனை எடுத்தார். ஆபிரகாமையும் இதுபோலவே அவர் தேர்தெடுத்தார். 

எந்த ஒரு உலகப் பதவிக்கு நாம் விண்ணப்பித்தாலும் அவர்கள் நமது படிப்பு, நமது திறமைகள், முன் அனுபவங்கள் இவைகளை அடிப்படையாகக்கொண்டு தான் நம்மைத் தேர்வு செய்வார்கள். ஆனால் தேவனோ, எந்தப் படிப்பும், திறமையும் முன் அனுபவங்களும் இல்லாதவர்களைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு அவர்களைத் தகுதிப்படுத்துகின்றார். 

இது ஏன் என்பதனை அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "ஞானிகளை வெட்கப்படுத்தும்படி தேவன் உலகத்தில் பைத்தியமானவைகளைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்; பலமுள்ளவைகளை வெட்கப்படுத்தும்படி தேவன் உலகத்தில் பலவீனமானவைகளைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார். உள்ளவைகளை அவமாக்கும்படி, உலகத்தின் இழிவானவைகளையும், அற்பமாய் எண்ணப்பட்டவைகளையும், இல்லாதவைகளையும், தேவன் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்." (1 கொரிந்தியர் 1: 27, 28) என்று விளக்கமாகக் கூறுகின்றார். 

எல்லோரும் இரட்சிக்கப்பட தேவன் விருப்பமுள்ளவராக இருந்தாலும் அவர்களில் சிலரை மட்டும் அவர் தெரிந்து கொண்டவர்களாக எண்ணி நடத்துகின்றார். "அந்தப்படியே, அழைக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் அநேகர், தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களோ சிலர் என்றார்." ( மத்தேயு 22: 14) என்று நாம் வாசிக்கவில்லையா?

தேவன் மனிதர்களில் சிலரை இப்படித் தெரிந்துகொள்வதற்கு நாம் எந்த மனித அளவுகோலைக்கொண்டும் கணித்திடமுடியாது.  "கர்த்தருடைய சிந்தையை அறிந்தவன் யார்? அவருக்கு ஆலோசனைக்காரனாயிருந்தவன் யார்?" (ரோமர் 11:34) என்று கூறியுள்ளபடி நாம் அவரது சிந்தனையை அறியமுடியாது. அவர் தனக்குச் சித்தமானவர்களைத் தெரிந்துகொள்கிறார்.

நாம் பலவேளைகளில் சில ஊழியர்கள் தவறு செய்யும்போது அவர்களைக்குறித்துப் பலவிதமாகப் பேசுகின்றோம். அப்படிப் பேசுவது நாம் தேவனது தெரிந்துகொள்ளுதலைக் கேலி செய்கின்றோம் என்று பொருள். "தேவன் தெரிந்துகொண்டவர்கள்மேல் குற்றஞ்சாட்டுகிறவன் யார்? தேவனே அவர்களை நீதிமான்களாக்குகிறவர்." ( ரோமர் 8: 33) ஆம், தேவன் நினைத்தால் அவர்களை நீதிமான்களாக மாற்றுவார். ஆம், ஆட்டுத் தொழுவதிலிருந்து தாவீதைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டதுபோல அவர் அவர்களைத் தெரிந்தெடுத்திருக்கலாம். தாவீதும் பாவம் செய்தார். ஆனால் தேவன் தாவீதை தூக்கி நிறுத்தினார்.  

அன்பானவர்களே, தேவ ஊழியர்கள் செய்யும் தவறான உபதேசங்களை மக்களுக்குத் தெளிவுபடுத்த  வேண்டியது நமது கடமை. ஏனெனில் தவறான உபதேசங்கள் பலரை நரக படுகுழிக்குள் இழுத்துச்சென்றுவிடும். அதனை நாம் தடுக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். அதே வேளையில் அத்தகைய ஊழியர்களைத்   தனிப்பட்டவிதத்தில்  கேலி செய்து அவமதித்துப் பேசுவது தேவனுக்கு எதிரான பாவம். அப்படிச் செய்யும்போது நாம் தேவனது தெரிந்துக்கொள்ளுதலை அவமதிக்கின்றோம். 

"மற்றொருவனுடைய வேலைக்காரனைக் குற்றவாளியாகத் தீர்க்கிறதற்கு நீ யார்?  அவன்   நின்றாலும்  விழுந்தாலும்  அவனுடைய எஜமானுக்கே   அவன்  உத்தரவாதி;   அவன்  நிலைநிறுத்தப்படுவான்; தேவன் அவனை நிலைநிறுத்த வல்லவராயிருக்கிறாரே." ( ரோமர் 14:4)

தவறான உபதேசங்களை மக்களுக்கு எடுத்துச் சொல்வோம்; தவறான ஊழியர்களை கண்டுகொள்ளாமல் விட்டுவிடுவோம். அவர்களைத் தெரிந்தெடுத்த தேவனுக்கு அவர்கள் கணக்குக் கொடுத்துக்கொள்வார்கள்.

“He also chose David His servant and took him from the sheepfolds.” (Psalm 78:70)

Though the two words “select” and “elect” may appear similar, there is a significant difference between them. To select means choosing one from among many available options. To elect means choosing one person from among a designated group. For example, in elections, we elect one candidate from among those presented to us.

God, however, always knows the people He desires. He does not merely elect; He chooses knowingly. Because the inner thoughts of human beings are fully known to Him, He chooses people in this manner. Thus, He chose His servant David and took him from the sheepfolds. In the same way, He chose Abraham.

When we apply for any worldly position, people select us based on our education, skills, and prior experience. But God chooses those who have no qualifications, no skills, and no prior experience—and then He qualifies them.

The apostle Paul explains this clearly: “God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong,
and the base things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are.” (1 Corinthians 1:27–28)

Although God desires that all people be saved, He regards some among them as those whom He has chosen. Have we not read:

“For many are called, but few are chosen.” (Matthew 22:14)

We cannot measure or predict God’s choosing by any human standard. As it is written:

“Who has known the mind of the Lord, or who became His counsellor?” (Romans 11:34)

We cannot comprehend His thoughts. He chooses those who are pleasing to Him.

Many times, when certain ministers fall into error, we speak critically and disparagingly about them. Doing so amounts to mocking God’s choosing. Scripture asks:

“Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies.” (Romans 8:33)

Yes, if God desires, He is able to justify them. Just as He chose David from the sheepfolds, He may have chosen them as well. David did sin, yet God lifted him up and restored him.

Beloved, it is indeed our responsibility to clearly expose false teachings to the people, because false doctrines can lead many into destruction. We must prevent that. At the same time, to mock, insult, or personally humiliate such ministers is a sin against God. When we do so, we dishonour God’s choosing.

“Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.” (Romans 14:4)

Let us expose false teachings to the people, but let us refrain from condemning the ministers personally. Those whom God has chosen will give an account to Him.
