 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1776                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 18.12.2025 வியாழன்     

"மரத்திலே தூக்கப்பட்ட எவனும் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறபடி, கிறிஸ்து நமக்காகச் சாபமாகி, நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் சாபத்திற்கு நம்மை நீங்கலாக்கி மீட்டுக்கொண்டார்." (கலாத்தியர் 3:13)

சிலர் வாழ்வில் தேவ ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெறுவதற்கு குடும்ப சாபங்கள் தடையாக இருக்கின்றன. முன்னோர்கள் செய்த சில அக்கிரமச்செயல்கள் பிள்ளைகளைப் பாதிப்பதுண்டு. ஆனால் இதனைப் பலர் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதில்லை.  இது எப்படி நியாயமாகும் என்று பலர் கேள்வி எழுப்புவதுண்டு. 

ஆனால், முன்னோர்கள் சம்பாதித்து வைத்தச் சொத்துக்களையும்  பெற்றோரின் சொத்துக்களையும் அனுபவிக்கும் உரிமை பிள்ளைகளுக்கு உள்ளதல்லவா? அதுபோலவே அவர்கள் செய்த அக்கிரமச்  செயல்களும் பிள்ளைகளைப் பாதிப்பதுண்டு.  காரணம், பலர் அக்கிரமமான செயல்கள்மூலம் அதிகமான சொத்துக்களைச் சேர்க்கின்றனர்.  அப்படிச் சேர்க்கப்படும் சொத்துக்களை அனுபவிக்கும் சந்ததிகளுக்கு அவர்கள் செய்த அநியாயங்களின் பலன்கள் வந்தடைகின்றன. 

ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்விலும் இதுவே உண்மையாக இருக்கின்றது. 

வேதாகம அடிப்படையில் பழைய ஏற்பட்டுச் சட்டங்கள் (நியாயப்பிரமாணங்கள்) முன்னோர்களது சொத்துக்கள் போன்றவை. அவைகளை மாற்றி, "கிறிஸ்துவில் வைக்கும் விசுவாசம்" எனும் கிருபையின் மேலான சொத்தினை நமக்குத் தரும்படி கிறிஸ்து உலகினில் வந்தார்.  இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நமக்குக் கூறுகின்றது, "கிறிஸ்து நமக்காகச் சாபமாகி, நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் சாபத்திற்கு நம்மை நீங்கலாக்கி மீட்டுக்கொண்டார்" என்று. அதாவது, நியாயப்பிரமானத்தைச் "சாபம்" என்று இங்கு பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர் கூறுகின்றார்.  அதாவது பழைய ஏற்பாட்டுச்சட்டங்களைத் தான் சாபம் என்று கூறுகின்றார். காரணம், இந்தச் சட்டங்கள் எது பாவம் என்று மட்டும் நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றனவேத் தவிர, பாவத்திலிருந்து முழு விடுதலையைத் தருவதில்லை. 

ஆம் இதனையே பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர், "இப்படியிருக்க, பாவத்தை அறிகிற அறிவு நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தினால் வருகிறபடியால், எந்த மனுஷனும் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் கிரியைகளினாலே  தேவனுக்கு முன்பாக நீதிமானாக்கப்படுவதில்லை". (ரோமர் 3:20) என்று கூறுகின்றார். அதாவது எது பாவம் என்று நியாயப்பிரமாணம் கூறுகின்றதே தவிர அந்தப் பாவங்களிலிருந்து அவை மனிதனை முற்றிலும் விடுவிப்பதில்லை. ஆனால், இன்றும் பலரும் நியாயப்பிரமாண கட்டளைகளைக் கிளிப்பிள்ளைப்போல வாயினால் கூறிக்கொண்டு அவற்றுக்கு முரணாக நடந்துகொண்டிருக்கின்றனர்.

மேலும் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தினால் மனிதர்களது சுய நீதி வெளிப்படுகின்றதேத்  தவிர மேலான தேவ நீதி அவற்றின்மூலம் வெளிப்படுவதில்லை. எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலராகிய பவுல், "நான் கிறிஸ்துவை ஆதாயப்படுத்திக் கொள்ளும்படிக்கும், நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தினால் வருகிற சுயநீதியை உடையவனாயிராமல்,              கிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றும்   விசுவாசத்தினால்                வருகிறதும் விசுவாசமூலமாய் தேவனால் உண்டாயிருக்கிறதுமான நீதியை உடையவனாயிருந்து, கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் இருக்கிறவனென்று காணப்படும்படிக்கும்," (பிலிப்பியர் 3:9) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

எனவேதான் நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இந்த உலகத்தில் வந்து சிலுவை மரணத்தை ஏற்று நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் சாபத்துக்கு நம்மை நீங்கலாக்கினார். இதனையே, "மரத்திலே தூக்கப்பட்ட எவனும் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறபடி, கிறிஸ்து நமக்காகச் சாபமாகி, நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் சாபத்திற்கு நம்மை நீங்கலாக்கி மீட்டுக்கொண்டார்". என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

முன்னோர்களின் சொத்து போன்ற நியாயப்பிரமாணம் மோசேமூலம் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. ஆனால் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின்மூலம் மேலான கிருபையின் பிரமாணம் கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான யோவான், "எப்படியெனில் நியாயப்பிரமாணம் மோசேயின் மூலமாய்க் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது, கிருபையும் சத்தியமும் இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் மூலமாய் உண்டாயின." ( யோவான் 1: 17) என்று கூறுகின்றார். ஆம், "விசுவாசிக்கிற எவனுக்கும் நீதி உண்டாகும்படியாகக் கிறிஸ்து நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் முடிவாயிருக்கிறார்." ( ரோமர் 10: 4)

கிறிஸ்துவை விசுவாசிக்காமல் நியாயப்பிரமாண கட்டளைகளை மட்டும் பற்றிக்கொண்டிருப்போமானால் நமக்குச் சாபமே வரும். எனவே, "......................நீங்கள் சாபத்தீடானதை உங்கள் நடுவிலிருந்து நிக்கிரகம்பண்ணாவிட்டால், இனி உங்களோடு இரேன்." ( யோசுவா 7: 12) என்கிறார் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து.

“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.’” (Galatians 3:13)

In the lives of some people, family curses seem to hinder the experience of God’s blessings. The sinful actions committed by ancestors sometimes affect their children and later generations. Many, however, find it difficult to accept this reality and often question, “How can this be just?”

Yet, do not children have the right to enjoy the wealth accumulated by their forefathers and the property of their parents? In the same way, the consequences of the injustices committed by ancestors can also affect their descendants. Many people amass great wealth through unrighteous means, and the generations that enjoy such unlawfully gained riches often reap the outcomes of those injustices.

This truth applies spiritually as well.

From a biblical perspective, the laws of the Old Covenant (the Law) are like ancestral property. Christ came into this world to replace them and to give us a far greater inheritance—the grace that comes through faith in Christ. Today’s meditation verse declares that “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse for us.” Here, the apostle Paul refers to the Law itself as a curse. That is, he points to the Old Covenant laws as a curse—not because they are evil, but because they only reveal what sin is and do not provide complete deliverance from sin.

The apostle Paul explains this clearly:

“Because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.” (Romans 3:20)

The Law tells us what sin is, but it cannot fully free a person from sin. Even today, many people repeatedly recite the commandments of the Law like parrots, yet live in complete contradiction to them.

Moreover, through the Law, human self-righteousness is exposed, but the higher righteousness of God is not revealed through it. That is why the apostle Paul says:

“…and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith.” (Philippians 3:9)

For this very reason, our Lord Jesus Christ came into this world, accepted death on the cross, and delivered us from the curse of the Law. This is exactly what today’s meditation verse proclaims:

“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us.” (Galatians 3:13)

The Law, like ancestral inheritance, was given through Moses. But through Jesus Christ, a superior covenant of grace has been given. As the apostle John declares:

“For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.” (John 1:17)

Yes indeed,

“For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness to everyone who believes.” (Romans 10:4)

If we cling only to the commandments of the Law without believing in Christ, what remains for us is a curse. Therefore, the Lord warns:

“… unless you remove the things under the ban from your midst, I will not be with you anymore.” (Joshua 7:12)

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1775                                  🔆 ஆதவன் 17.12.2025 புதன்    

"பொல்லாங்குச் செய்கிறவன் எவனும் ஒளியைப்  பகைக்கிறான், தன் கிரியைகள்  கண்டிக்காத படிக்கு  ஒளியினிடத்தில்              வராதிருக்கிறான்".    (யோவான் - 3:20)

பொதுவாக பெரிய பெரிய பாவச் செயல்களும் குற்றங்களும் இரவில்தான் நடைபெறுகின்றன. குற்றவாளிகளுக்கு இருள் பாதுகாப்புக் கொடுக்கின்றது.   திருடர்களைப்   பாருங்கள்  அவர்கள்  எங்கே திருடச் சென்றாலும் அங்குள்ள விளக்குகளைத் தான்  முதலில் அணைப்பர்.

இதுபோலவே, உலகினில் ஒளியை   விரும்பும்  உயிரினங்களுக்கும்  இருளை    விரும்பும்     உயிரினங்களுக்கும்  மிகப்    பெரிய    வித்தியாசமுண்டு.   ஆந்தை,  கூகை,   தேள்,  கரப்பான், பூரான்,    இவை    போன்ற   உயிரினங்கள் ஒளியை விரும்புவதில்லை.  அவை எப்போதும்    இருளான இடங்களைத் தேடிப்  பதுங்கி உயிர்வாழும். கற்களின் அடியிலும், மரப் பொந்துகளிலும்  அவை   தங்கியிருக்கும்.  அவை மறைந்திருக்கும் பொருளை அகற்றினால் அந்த ஒளியை அவைகளால் தாங்கமுடியாமல் அவை உடனே இருளைத்தேடி ஓடும். பல்வேறு கொடிய வனவிலங்குகளும் இரவில்தான் வேட்டையாடும். 

ஆம்,  இதுபோலவே மனிதர்களது நிலைமை இருக்கின்றது. எப்படி ஒளியான  இடத்தில் இருளின்  உயிர்களுக்கு  விருப்பமில்லையோ அதுபோலவே இருளான பாவ குணமுள்ள மனிதர்களும் இருக்கின்றார்கள். இதனைத்தான் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து,    "பொல்லாங்குச்   செய்கிறவன்  எவனும் ஒளியைப்  பகைக்கிறான்,  தன்  கிரியைகள்  கண்டிக்காத படிக்கு  ஒளியினிடத்தில்            வராதிருக்கிறான்".    (யோவான் - 3:20) என்று  கூறுகின்றார். 

இதனை ஒரு உதாரணம் மூலம் விளக்கலாம்.        திருமண  வீடுகளில்   மேடையில்   மணமக்கள்   அமர்ந்திருக்கும்போது  நல்ல  ஆடைகளை அணிந்துள்ள    விருந்தினர்கள்    மேடையில்  ஏறி  நேரடியாக  மணமக்களை  வாழ்த்துவார்கள். மேடை வண்ண  விளக்குகளால்  அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்டு ஜொலித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும். ஆனால்  அங்கு  அரைகுறை ஆடையுடனோ நிர்வாணமாகவோ  ஒரு  மனிதன் வர நேர்ந்தால் அவன் மேடையில்  வருவானா?   வெட்கப்பட்டுத்  தன்  மானத்தை மறைக்க இருளான இடத்தைத் தேடி ஓடுவானல்லவா?

ஆம், இன்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை பலர் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளத் தயங்கிட இதுவே காரணமாக இருக்கின்றது. ஏனெனில் கிறிஸ்து மெய்யான ஒளியாக இருக்கின்றார். அந்த ஒளியிடம் பாவ மனிதன் நெருங்கிட முடிவதில்லை; அவர்களது பாவ குணம் ஒளியான கிறிஸ்துவை நெருங்க விடுவதில்லை.  காரணம், கிறிஸ்தவம் பாவத்தையும் பாவ மன்னிப்பையும் வலியுறுதிப் போதிக்கின்றது. இந்தப் போதனை பாவ இருளிலிருக்கும் மனிதர்களுக்குக் கசப்பாகத் தெரிகின்றது. மேலும்,  பாவ வாழ்க்கை வாழும் பலரும் தங்களது பாவ வாழ்க்கையை நியாயப்படுத்துகின்றனர். "நான் என்ன பாவம் செய்தேன்?" எனக் கேள்வி  எழுப்புகின்றனர்.  அல்லது, "இதெல்லாம் பாவமா? உலகத்தில் எல்லோரும் இப்படித்தானே வாழ்கின்றனர்?" என்கின்றனர். அதாவது அவர்கள் தங்கள் வாழ்க்கை மாற்றத்துக்கோ, கிறிஸ்துவை அறியவோ தயாராக இல்லை. 

ஆனால் இப்படி வாழ்வது அவர்களது நரக வாழ்க்கைக்கு அடித்தளமாகவும் அமைகின்றது. இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தெளிவாகக் கூறியதுபோல, "ஒளியானது   உலகத்தில்  வந்திருந்தும்  மனுஷருடைய   கிரியைகள்   பொல்லாதவைகளாய்     இருக்கிற படியால்   அவர்கள்  ஒளியைப்  பார்க்கிலும்  இருளை விரும்புகிறதே  அந்த ஆக்கினை தீர்ப்புக்கு  காரணமாயிருக்கிறது" (யோவான் -3:19) என்றபடி கிரிஸ்துவை நெருங்காமல் பாவத்திலேயே வாழ்வோமானால் இறுதியில் ஆக்கினைத் தீர்ப்படைவோம்.  

இதற்கு மாறாக, பாவ இருளிலுள்ள மனிதன் தனது பாவங்களை உணர்ந்து கிறிஸ்துவிடம் வரும்போது ஒளியடைகிறான். யோவான் தனது சுவிசேஷத்தின் ஆரம்பத்திலேயே கிறிஸ்துவைக் குறித்து,    "உலகத்திலே  வந்து எந்த  மனுஷனையும் பிரகாசிப்பிக்கிற ஒளியே  அந்த  மெய்யான ஒளி" (யோவான் -1:9) என்று குறிப்பிடுகின்றார்.  ஆம், மெய்யான   அந்த ஒளியிடம்  வரும் போது  மட்டுமே  இருளான மனிதன்  பிரகாசமடைய முடியும். 

நீதியின் சூரியனான இயேசு கிறிஸ்து நம்மை ஒளியடையச்  செய்ய  நம்மை அவருக்கு முற்றிலும்  ஒப்படைக்க வேண்டியது அவசியம். நாம் இருளான வாழ்க்கை வாழ்பவர்களாக இருந்தால் மனம் திரும்பி நமது பாவங்களுக்கு மன்னிப்பு பெற்று அவரிடம் திரும்புவோம். ஏற்கெனவே கிறிஸ்துவின் ஒளியைப் பெற்றவர்களாக இருந்தால்  "உன்னிலுள்ள   வெளிச்சம் இருளாகாதபடிக்கு  எச்சரிக்கையாய்   இரு " ( லூக்கா - 11:35) என்று கிறிஸ்து நம்மை எச்சரிக்கின்றபடி நம்மிலுள்ள கிறிஸ்துவின்  ஒளி இருளடைந்திடாமல் எச்சரிக்கையாக இருப்போம்.

“For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light so that his deeds will not be exposed.” (John 3:20)

Generally, major sins and criminal acts take place under the cover of night. Darkness offers protection to offenders. Look at thieves—wherever they go to steal, the first thing they do is switch off the lights.

In the same way, there is a great difference in this world between living creatures that love light and those that love darkness. Creatures such as owls, bats, scorpions, cockroaches, and beetles do not like light at all. They always seek dark places to hide and survive—under stones, inside tree hollows, and hidden corners. If the object covering them is removed, they cannot bear the light and immediately run in search of darkness. Likewise, many fierce wild animals hunt only at night.

Yes, human beings are much the same. Just as creatures of darkness dislike bright places, there are people whose nature is bound to sinful darkness. This is exactly what our Lord Jesus Christ teaches in today’s meditation verse:

“For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light so that his deeds will not be exposed.” (John 3:20)

This can be explained with an illustration. At a wedding, when the bride and groom are seated on the stage, well-dressed guests confidently come up to the brightly lit stage to greet them. The stage is beautifully decorated and illuminated. But if a person wearing torn clothes—or worse, unclothed—were to come there, would he dare step onto the stage? Out of shame, would he not run to a dark place to hide and cover himself?

Yes, this is the very reason why many people hesitate to accept Jesus Christ today. Christ is the true Light. A sinful person cannot easily approach that Light; their sinful nature itself prevents them from coming near Christ, who is Light. Christianity clearly emphasizes sin and the forgiveness of sin. This teaching feels bitter and uncomfortable to those living in the darkness of sin. Moreover, many who live sinful lives try to justify themselves. They ask, “What sin have I committed?” or say, “Is this really a sin? Isn’t everyone in the world living like this?” In other words, they are not ready for a transformed life or to truly know Christ.

But such a way of life lays the foundation for eternal condemnation. As Jesus Christ clearly stated:

“This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.” (John 3:19)

If we continue to live in sin without coming to Christ, we will ultimately face judgment.

In contrast, when a person living in the darkness of sin realizes their condition and comes to Christ, they receive light. Right at the beginning of his Gospel, John testifies about Christ:

“There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every person.” (John 1:9). Yes, only by coming to that true Light can a darkened human life be illuminated.

If Jesus Christ, the Sun of Righteousness, is to enlighten us, we must fully surrender ourselves to Him. If we are living in darkness, let us repent, receive forgiveness for our sins, and return to Him. And if we have already received the light of Christ, let us remain vigilant, just as He warned:

“Then watch out that the light in you is not darkness.” (Luke 11:35) Let us guard ourselves so that the light of Christ within us does not grow dim.

🦋 Meditation verse - எபிரெயர் 12: 7 / Hebrews 12:7

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1774                                    🔆 ஆதவன் 16.12.2025 செவ்வாய்      

"நீங்கள் சிட்சையைச் சகிக்கிறவர்களாயிருந்தால் தேவன் உங்களைப் புத்திரராக எண்ணி நடத்துகிறார்;   தகப்பன்   சிட்சியாத   புத்திரனுண்டோ?" ( எபிரெயர் 12: 7)

சிட்சை அல்லது தண்டனை என்பது நம்மைத் திருத்துவதற்கான  ஒரு வழி. இன்றைய இளைஞர்கள் பல்வேறு தவறான வழிகளில் செல்ல பெற்றோர் அவர்களைச் சரியாகக் கண்டித்து வளர்க்காததே முக்கிய காரணம். பழைய காலங்களில் பொதுவாக எல்லா வீடுகளிலும் பிள்ளைகளைக் கண்டித்து வளர்த்தனர். தகப்பனிடம் பெரும்பாலான பிள்ளைகள் அதிக பயத்துடன் இருந்தனர். சில வீடுகளில் பிள்ளைகளை அடிப்பதற்காக கூரைகளில் பிரம்பு அல்லது வேப்பங்குச்சி சொருகி வைத்திருப்பார்கள்.  ஆம், "பிள்ளையை தண்டியாமல் விடாதே; அவனைப் பிரம்பினால் அடித்தால் அவன் சாகான்". (நீதிமொழிகள் 23:13) என்று வேதமும் நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது. 

மட்டுமல்ல, அப்போது பெற்றோர்களும் ஆசிரியர்களிடம், "டீச்சர் என் மகன் / மகள் நல்லா படிக்கிறானா?" என்று கேட்பது மட்டுமல்ல, "வீட்டில் நான் என்ன சொன்னாலும் கேட்கமாட்டேன் என்கிறான், நல்லா அடிகொடுங்க" என்று கூறுவார்கள்.  அப்போது பிள்ளைகளும் பெற்றோருக்கும் ஆசிரியர்களுக்கும் பயந்து வாழ்ந்தனர்; நல்ல குணமுள்ளவர்களாக இருந்தனர்.  இப்படிப் பெற்றோர் ஆசிரியர்களிடம் தங்கள் பிள்ளைகளைக் கண்டிக்கச் சொல்வது தங்கள் பிள்ளைகள் நல்ல குணமுள்ளவர்களாக வாழவேண்டும் என்பதற்காகத்தானேத்  தவிர அவர்களைக்  கொடுமைப்படுத்துவதற்கல்ல. 

இப்படி பெற்றோர்கள் தண்டிப்பது பிள்ளைகளுக்குத் துன்பமாகத் தெரிந்தாலும் அதன் பலனை பின்னாட்களில் நாம் காண முடியும். ஆம், "எந்தச் சிட்சையும் தற்காலத்தில் சந்தோஷமாய்க் காணாமல் துக்கமாய்க் காணும்; ஆகிலும் பிற்காலத்தில் அதில் பழகினவர்களுக்கு அது நீதியாகிய சமாதான பலனைத் தரும்." ( எபிரெயர் 12: 11)

இதுபோலவே தேவன் தனது பிள்ளைகளை நடத்துகின்றார். அவர் பிரம்பையும் வேப்பங்குச்சியையும் கொண்டு அடித்துத் திருத்தாமல் பல்வேறு துன்பங்களைக்கொடுத்துத் தனக்கு ஏற்புடையவர்களாக நாம் மாறிட நம்மை அவர் தண்டிக்கிறார். எனவே, நாம் தண்டனைக்குப் பயந்து நமது உலகத்  தகப்பன்மாருக்கு  அடங்கி நடப்பதுபோல தேவனுக்கும் அடங்கி நடக்கவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது என்கின்றார் எபிரெய நிருப ஆசிரியர். "நம்முடைய சரீரத்தின் தகப்பன்மார்கள் நம்மைச் சிட்சிக்கும்போது, அவர்களுக்கு நாம் அஞ்சி நடந்திருக்க, நாம் பிழைக்கத்தக்கதாக ஆவிகளின் பிதாவுக்கு வெகு அதிகமாய் அடங்கி நடக்கவேண்டுமல்லவா?" ( எபிரெயர் 12: 9) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோமல்லவா? 

மேலும், உலக தகப்பன்மார் அவர்களுக்கு நல்லதாகத் தோன்றும் வழிகளில் நாம் நடக்கவேண்டி நம்மைத் தண்டித்தார்கள் தேவனோ நாம் அவரைப்போல பரிசுத்தமுள்ளவர்களாக நாம் மாறவேண்டும் என்பதற்காக நம்மைத் தண்டிக்கின்றார். இதனையே, "அவர்கள் தங்களுக்கு நலமென்று தோன்றினபடி கொஞ்சக்காலம் சிட்சித்தார்கள்; இவரோ தம்முடைய பரிசுத்தத்துக்கு நாம் பங்குள்ளவர்களாகும் பொருட்டு நம்முடைய பிரயோஜனத்துக்காகவே நம்மைச் சிட்சிக்கிறார்." ( எபிரெயர் 12: 10) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

"தகப்பன்   சிட்சியாத  புத்திரனுண்டோ?" என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் ஒரு கேள்விக்குறியுடன் முடிவடைகின்றது. எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் துன்பங்களை அனுபவிக்கின்றோமென்றால் தேவன் நம்மைத் தனது பிள்ளைகளாக எண்ணி நடத்துகின்றார் என்று பொருள். துன்பங்கள் வாழ்வில் வரும்போது முறுமுறுக்காமல் நம்மை நாமே நிதானித்துப் பார்ப்போம். நமது குற்றங்கள் என்ன என ஆராய்ந்து பார்த்து நம்மைத் திருத்திக்கொள்வோம்.

📖 Bible Meditation No. 1774
🔆 AATHAVAN – Tuesday, 16.12.2025

“It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline?”
(Hebrews 12:7)

Discipline or correction is a means by which we are shaped and set right. One of the major reasons many young people today stray into wrong paths is that parents fail to correct and guide them properly. In earlier days, it was common in every household to raise children with discipline. Most children had a healthy fear of their fathers. In some homes, a cane or a neem stick would be kept on the roof, ready for correction. Yes, Scripture itself instructs us:

“Do not hold back discipline from the child, although you strike him with the rod, he will not die.” (Proverbs 23:13)

Not only that—parents would not merely ask teachers, “Is my son or daughter studying well?” They would also say, “He does not listen to me at home; please discipline him well.” Children, in turn, lived with reverence and fear toward both parents and teachers, and they grew up with good character. When parents asked teachers to discipline their children, it was not to abuse them, but so that they might grow into people of noble character.

Though parental discipline may seem painful to children at the moment, its benefits become evident later in life. As the Word of God says:

“All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.” (Hebrews 12:11)

In the same way, God deals with His children. He does not correct us by striking us with a rod or a stick, but by allowing various hardships so that we may be transformed into people pleasing to Him. Therefore, just as we submit ourselves to our earthly fathers out of fear and respect, it is even more necessary that we submit ourselves to God. The author of Hebrews says:

“Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live?” (Hebrews 12:9)

Earthly fathers disciplined us in ways that seemed best to them, but God disciplines us so that we may become holy like Him. This truth is expressed as follows:

“For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness.” (Hebrews 12:10)

The meditation verse ends with a question: “For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?” Therefore, beloved, if we are going through sufferings, it means that God is treating us as His children. When hardships come into our lives, let us not grumble. Instead, let us examine ourselves calmly, search our hearts for our faults, and correct ourselves.

🦋 Meditation verse - 1 நாளாகமம் 10: 13 / 1 Chronicles 10:13

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1773                                  🔆 ஆதவன் 15.12.2025 திங்கள்     

"அப்படியே சவுல் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையைக் கைக்கொள்ளாமல், கர்த்தருக்குச் செய்த தன் துரோகத்தினிமித்தமும், அவன் கர்த்தரைத் தேடாமல் அஞ்சனம் பார்க்கிறவர்களைக் கேட்கும்படிக்குத் தேடினதினிமித்தமும் செத்துப்போனான்." (1 நாளாகமம் 10: 13)

இஸ்ரவேலின் முதல் ராஜாவான சவுலின் வீழ்ச்சியைக்குறித்து இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நமக்கு எடுத்துக் கூறுகின்றது. சவுலின் வாழ்கையினைப்போல நமது வாழ்க்கை ஆகிவிடாதபடிக்கு நாம் எச்சரிக்கையாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

சவுலை தேவன்தான் தெரிந்துகொண்டார். உண்மையில்  அரசனாகவேண்டும் எனும்  ஆசையோ அதற்கான முயற்சியோ சவுலுக்கு இல்லாமல்தான் இருந்தது. தனது தகப்பனின் காணாமல்போன கழுதைகளைத்தேடித் தான் அவன் சென்றான். ஆனால் கழுதையைத்தேடிச் சென்றவனுக்கு ராஜமேன்மை கிடைத்தது.  ஆனாலும் அவன் தனக்குத் தேவன் கொடுத்த இந்த உயரிய வாழ்வை தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடையதாக வாழவில்லை. 

இதுபோலவே நம்மில் பலரும் பலவேளைகளில் வாழ்கின்றோம். தேவன் நமது தகுதிக்கு மேலாக  நம்மை உயர்த்தும்போது தேவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டிய மகிமையைக் கொடுக்காமல் மறுதலித்துப் போகின்றோம். சவுலிடம் தாவீதுக்கு எதிராக பொறாமை, வஞ்சகம், முரட்டாட்டமான செயல்கள் அதிகம் இருந்தன.  மட்டுமல்ல, தாவீதைக் கொலை செய்ய பலமுறை அவன் முயன்றான். மேலும் தேவனுக்கு உரிய மகிமையைச் செலுத்தாமல் தனது மனம் எடுத்தத் தீர்மானத்தின்படி பலிசெலுத்தினான்.

எனவேதான் சாமுவேல் தீர்க்கதரிசி அவனைப் பார்த்து, "இரண்டகம்பண்ணுதல் பில்லிசூனிய பாவத்திற்கும், முரட்டாட்டம்பண்ணுதல் அவபக்திக்கும் விக்கிரகாராதனைக்கும் சரியாய் இருக்கிறது; நீர் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையைப் புறக்கணித்தபடியினாலே, அவர் உம்மை ராஜாவாயிராதபடிக்குப் புறக்கணித்துத் தள்ளினார் என்றான்." (1 சாமுவேல் 15: 23) 

இன்று பலர் தாறுமாறான வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்துகொண்டு தேவனுக்குக் காணிக்கைகளையும் பொருத்தனைகளையும் செய்வது போலத்தான் அன்று  சவுல் செய்துகொண்டிருந்தான். ஆம், தேவனுக்குக்  கீழ்ப்படியும் வாழ்க்கைதான்  அனைத்துக்கும் மேலான தேவன் விரும்புகின்ற செயல் என்பதனை அவன் மறந்துபோனான். எனவே, சாமுவேல் அவனைப்பார்த்து, "கர்த்தருடைய சத்தத்திற்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறதைப்பார்க்கிலும், சர்வாங்க தகனங்களும் பலிகளும் கர்த்தருக்குப் பிரியமாயிருக்குமோ? பலியைப்பார்க்கிலும் கீழ்ப்படிதலும், ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களின் நிணத்தைப்பார்க்கிலும் செவிகொடுத்தலும் உத்தமம்". (1 சாமுவேல் 15: 22) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

இவை அனைத்துக்கும் மேலாக, சவுல் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையைக் கைக்கொள்ளாமல்,  கர்த்தரைத் தேடாமல், குறிசொல்பவர்களைத் தேடி அலைந்தான்.  இப்படி அவன் கர்த்தரைத் தேடாமல் அஞ்சனம் பார்க்கிறவர்களைக் கேட்கும்படிக்குத் தேடினதினிமித்தமும் செத்துப்போனான் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, சிலவேளைகளில் தேவன் தனது கிருபையால் நமக்கு நாம் கேட்காத  செல்வத்தையும், பதவியையும் தரலாம். ஆனால் அப்படிப்பட்டச் சூழ்நிலைகளில் நாம் தேவனை மறந்தவர்களாக, எல்லாம் எனது பலத்தினால் கிடைத்தது என்று பெருமைகொண்டு இறுமாப்படையாமல் வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். சவுலின் வீழ்ச்சி நமக்கு ஒரு எச்சரிப்பாகும்.  எந்த உயர்விலும், செலவச் செழிப்பிலும் மற்றவர்களுக்குக் கெடுதல் செய்யாமல், தேவனை மட்டும் மகிமைப்படுத்தி அவருக்கு நன்றியறிதலுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வோம்.

📖 Scripture Meditation No. 1773
🔆 AATHAVAN – Monday, 15.12.2025

“So, Saul died for his unfaithfulness which he committed against the LORD, because he did not keep the word of the LORD, and also because he consulted a medium for guidance, and did not inquire of the LORD.” (1 Chronicles 10:13)

Today’s meditation verse explains the downfall of Saul, the first king of Israel. We must be cautious lest our own lives resemble the life of Saul.

It was God Himself who chose Saul. In fact, Saul neither had the ambition nor made any effort to become a king. He went out only to search for his father’s lost donkeys. Yet, the one who went in search of donkeys received a kingdom. However, he did not live the noble life God had given him in a manner pleasing to the Lord.

In the same way, many of us live our lives. When God exalts us beyond our own worthiness, instead of giving Him the glory He deserves, we often withhold it. Saul was filled with jealousy, deceit, and violent behaviour toward David. Not only that, he made repeated attempts to kill David. Furthermore, instead of giving glory to God, Saul offered sacrifices according to the decisions of his own mind.

That is why the prophet Samuel said to him:

“For rebellion is as the sin of divination, and insubordination is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He has also rejected you from being king.” (1 Samuel 15:23)

Even today, many live disorderly lives while still offering gifts and vows to God—just as Saul did in those days. Yes, he forgot that a life of obedience to God is what the Lord desires above all else. Therefore, Samuel declared to him:

“Has the LORD as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to pay attention than the fat of rams.” (1 Samuel 15:22)

Above all this, Saul did not keep the word of the Lord. He did not seek the Lord but instead wandered in search of those who practiced divination. Because he did not inquire of the Lord and consulted a medium, today’s meditation verse says that he died because of this unfaithfulness.

Yes, beloved, at times God, by His grace, may give us wealth, position, and honor that we never asked for. But in such situations, we must be careful not to forget God or become proud, saying, “All this came by my own strength.” The downfall of Saul stands as a warning to us. In every position of elevation and prosperity, let us not harm others, but live a life that glorifies God alone, with gratitude and thankfulness to Him.

🦋 Meditation verse - 1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 4: 7- 8 / 1 Thessalonians 4:7–8

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1772                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 14.12.2025 ஞாயிறு    

தேவன் நம்மை அசுத்தத்திற்கல்ல பரிசுத்தத்திற்கே அழைத்திருக்கிறார். ஆகையால் அசட்டைபண்ணுகிறவன் மனுஷரை அல்ல, தமது பரிசுத்த ஆவியை நமக்குத் தந்தருளின தேவனையே அசட்டைபண்ணுகிறான். (1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 4: 7- 8)

நம்முடைய தேவன் பரிசுத்தர் என்று நாம் வேதத்தில் வாசிக்கின்றோம். நாம் அவரது பிள்ளைகளாய் இருப்பதால் நாமும் அவரைப்போல பரிசுத்தமுள்ளவர்களாக வாழவேண்டுமென்று அவர் விரும்புகின்றார். இதனையே, "நான் பரிசுத்தர், ஆகையால் நீங்களும் பரிசுத்தராயிருங்கள் என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறதே." (1 பேதுரு 1: 16) என்று அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு நமக்கு லேவியராகமத்திலிருந்து மேற்கோள் காட்டி (லேவியராகமம் - 11:45, 19:2) நினைவூட்டுகின்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் நமது தேவனைப்போல பரிசுத்தமுள்ளவர்களாக மாறவேண்டும் என்பதே அவரது சித்தம். "நீங்கள் பரிசுத்தமுள்ளவர்களாக வேண்டுமென்பதே தேவனுடைய சித்தமாயிருக்கிறது. " (1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 4: 3) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

ஆனால் மனிதர்களாகிய நம்மால் நமது மனித பலவீனங்களால் அப்படி ஒரு பரிசுத்தமான வாழ்வு வாழமுடியாது என்பதனை தேவன் அறிவார். எனவேதான் நம்மை பரிசுத்த வழியில் வழிநடத்திட பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரைத் தந்துள்ளார். அந்தப் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் குரலைக்கேட்டு நாம் நடக்கவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது. அதனைக் கேட்காமல் வாழ்வோமானால் நாம் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரை மட்டுமல்ல, அவரை நமக்குத் தந்துள்ள தேவனையே அசட்டைப் பண்ணுகின்றோம் என்று பொருள். இதனையே, "ஆகையால் அசட்டைபண்ணுகிறவன் மனுஷரை அல்ல, தமது பரிசுத்த ஆவியை நமக்குத் தந்தருளின தேவனையே அசட்டைபண்ணுகிறான்" என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் மூலம் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் நமக்குக் கூறுகின்றார்.  

மேலும், நாம் கிறிஸ்துவுக்கேற்ற சாட்சியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் பலம் நமக்குத் தேவை என்று உயிர்த்தெழுந்த இயேசு கிறிஸ்துத் தனது சீடர்களிடம் கூறினார்.  "பரிசுத்தஆவி உங்களிடத்தில் வரும்போது நீங்கள் பெலனடைந்து, எருசலேமிலும், யூதேயா முழுவதிலும், சமாரியாவிலும், பூமியின் கடைசிபரியந்தமும், எனக்குச் சாட்சிகளாயிருப்பீர்கள் என்றார்". (அப்போஸ்தலர் 1:8). 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவன் நம்மை அசுத்தத்திற்கல்ல பரிசுத்தத்திற்கே அழைத்திருக்கிறார். அதன்மூலம் சாட்சியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ விரும்புகின்றார். எனவேதான் அதற்கு நமக்கு உதவுவதற்காக பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரைத் துணையாளராகத் தந்துள்ளார். எனவே அந்த ஆவியானவரை நாம் அசட்டைப் பண்ணுவோமானால் மனிதரையல்ல, தமது பரிசுத்த ஆவியை நமக்குத் தந்தருளின தேவனையே அசட்டைபண்ணுகிறவர்களாக இருப்போம்.  "ஆதலால், நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்: எந்தப் பாவமும் எந்தத் தூஷணமும் மனுஷருக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படும்;  ஆவியானவருக்கு விரோதமான தூஷணமோ மனுஷருக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படுவதில்லை." (மத்தேயு 12:31) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் கூறவில்லையா?

பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரைத்  தூஷணம் செய்வது என்பது அவரை அவமதித்துப் பேசுவதும் செயல்படுவதும் மட்டுமல்ல; அவருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாமல் வாழ்வதும் அவரைத் தூஷிப்பதுதான். எனவே ஆவியானவரை அசட்டைப் பண்ணாமல் வாழ்வோம்.

📖 Bible Meditation No. 1772
🔆 AATHAVAN — Sunday, 14.12.2025

God has not called us for impurity but in holiness. Therefore, the one who rejects this is not rejecting man but the God who gives His Holy Spirit to you. (1 Thessalonians 4:7–8)

The Bible declares that our God is holy. Since we are His children, He desires that we live holy lives just as He is holy. The apostle Peter reminds us of this by quoting from Leviticus: “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:16; Leviticus 11:45; 19:2)

Yes, beloved, it is God’s will that we become holy like Him. We read: “For this is the will of God, your sanctification.” (1 Thessalonians 4:3)

However, God knows that in our human weakness, we cannot live such a holy life by our own strength. That is why He has given us the Holy Spirit—to lead us in the path of holiness. It is essential that we listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit. If we fail to listen and walk in obedience, we are not merely resisting the Spirit, but dishonouring God Himself who gave us His Spirit. This is exactly what the apostle Paul teaches us in today’s verse: “Therefore, the one who rejects this is not rejecting man, but the God who gives His Holy Spirit to you.”

Furthermore, the risen Lord Jesus told His disciples that they would receive power from the Holy Spirit to live as effective witnesses for Him:
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

Beloved, God has called us not to impurity but to holiness. He desires that we live as His witnesses. For this very purpose, He has given us the Holy Spirit as our Helper. Therefore, if we disregard Him, we are dishonouring not a human being, but God who gave us His Holy Spirit. Did not Jesus Himself warn us? — “Therefore, I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.”
(Matthew 12:31)

Blaspheming the Holy Spirit is not only speaking or acting disrespectfully against Him; living in disobedience to His leading is itself dishonoring the Holy Spirit. Therefore, let us choose to live in reverence and obedience, never despising the Holy Spirit.
