"விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1685                                          ஆதவன் 18.09.2025  வியாழன்       

"நீ உன் கண்ணிலிருக்கிற உத்திரத்தை உணராமல், உன் சகோதரன் கண்ணிலிருக்கிற துரும்பைப் பார்க்கிறதென்ன?" ( லுூக்கா 6 : 41 )

மனிதர்கள் பலருக்குமிருக்கும் பொதுவான குணம் மற்றவர்களிடம் குறைகாண்பது.  ஆனால் இப்படிக் குறைகூறும் மனிதர்கள் பலரும் தங்கள் கூறும் அதே குறைபாடு தங்களிடம் இருப்பதை உணர்வதில்லை. மற்றவர்களுக்கு அழகான அறிவுரைகளை வாரிவழங்கும் பலரும் அந்த அறிவுரைகளின்படித் தாங்களே நடப்பதில்லை. இப்படி இருக்கக்கூடாது என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து அறிவுறுத்துகின்றார். 

மனிதர்கள் ஏன் இப்படி இருக்கின்றார்கள் என்பதற்கு மனோதத்துவ விளக்கம் பின்வருமாறு கூறுகின்றது:- "நம்முடைய பிரச்சினையில் நாம் சிக்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் போது உணர்ச்சிகள் நம்மை குழப்பி, அதிகமாக  யோசிக்கவும் மோசமாக  கற்பனை செய்யவும் வைக்கிறது. ஆனால், வேறொருவருக்கு அறிவுரை கொடுக்கும்போது, நம்மால் தெளிவாகவும், யதார்த்தமாகவும், சமநிலையான மனநிலையில் இருக்க முடிகிறது." 

ஆனால் இது மெய்யான காரணமல்ல. எல்லோரும் தங்களை நல்லவர்களாகவும், மற்றவர்களைவிட மேலானவர்களாகவும் எண்ணிக்கொள்வதுதான் இதற்கு உண்மையான காரணம். மேலும், அதே குற்றத்தையும் தவறையும் தாங்களே செய்திருந்தாலும் மற்றவர்களுக்கு அறிவுரைகூறும்போது எல்லோரும் தங்களை நல்லவர்கள் என்று எண்ணுவார்கள் என்று இவர்கள் நினைக்கின்றனர். 

ஆனால், ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் நாம் இப்படி இருப்பது முறையல்ல. நாம் வாழ்வில் நம்மையே சுய ஆய்வு மிகவும் அவசியம். உணர்ச்சிகளுக்கு அடிமையாகாமல் யதார்த்தமாகச் சிந்தித்துச் செயல்படும்போது நாம் குறைகூறும் பழக்கத்திலிருந்து விடுபடுவோம். அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் இப்படியே வாழ்ந்தார். பல நிருபங்களில் பல்வேறு சபைகளுக்கு அறிவுரைகளை அவர் எழுதியுள்ளார். பல்வேறு சபைகளில் பிரசங்கங்கள் செய்துள்ளார்.  இப்படித் தான் பிரசங்கம் செய்து மற்றவர்களை வழி நடத்தினாலும் தானும் அதற்கேற்ப வாழவேண்டும் எனும் எண்ணம் அவருக்கு இருந்ததால் கூறுகின்றார்,  "மற்றவர்களுக்குப் பிரசங்கம்பண்ணுகிற நான்தானே ஆகாதவனாய்ப் போகாதபடிக்கு, என் சரீரத்தை ஒடுக்கிக் கீழ்ப்படுத்துகிறேன்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 9 : 27 ) என்று. 

உலக வாழ்வில் மட்டுமல்ல, ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்விலும் நாம் மற்றவர்களைக் குறைகூறி அவர்களைக் குறித்து நாமே தீர்ப்பிட்டு வாழ்வோமானால் நாமும் தேவனுக்குமுன் அதேபோல தீர்ப்பிடப்படுவோம் என்கின்றார் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. ஆம், "ஏனெனில், நீங்கள் மற்றவர்களைத் தீர்க்கிற தீர்ப்பின்படியே நீங்களும் தீர்க்கப்படுவீர்கள்; நீங்கள் மற்றவர்களுக்கு அளக்கிற அளவின்படியே உங்களுக்கும் அளக்கப்படும்." ( மத்தேயு 7 : 2 )

உலகிலுள்ள எல்லா மனிதர்களும் ஒரேபோன்ற அறிவுடையவர்களல்ல; எல்லோரும் ஒரே சிந்தனையுள்ளவர்களல்ல. வயது அதிகரித்தாலும் பலர் அறிவில் சிறுபிள்ளைகளைப்போலவே இருக்கின்றனர்.  ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் மனிதர்களது விசுவாச அளவும் இப்படியே இருக்கின்றது. எனவே எல்லோரும் நம்மைப்போல இருக்கவேண்டுமென்று எண்ணி அவர்களது ஆவிக்குரிய செயல்பாடுகளை நாம் குறைகூறக்கூடாது என்கின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல். "பலவீனமுள்ள சகோதரன் உன் அறிவினிமித்தம் கெட்டுப்போகலாமா? அவனுக்காகக் கிறிஸ்து மரித்தாரே." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 8 : 11 )

எனவே, எல்லாச் சூழலிலும் மற்றவர்களைக் குறைகூறுமுன்னும் அல்லது மற்றவர்களுக்கு அறிவுரைகூறுமுன்னும் நமக்கு அந்தத் தகுதி இருக்கின்றதா, நம்மிடம் குறை இருக்கின்றதா  என்று எண்ணிப்பார்த்துச் செயல்படுவோம். முதலில் நமது கண்ணிலுள்ள உத்திரத்தை உணர்ந்து அகற்றுவோம்; அதன்பின்னர் சகோதரன் கண்ணிலிருக்கிற துரும்பைப் பார்த்து அகற்ற முயலுவோம். அப்போது நாம் மற்றவர்களுக்கு அளக்கிற அளவின்படியே தேவனும் நமக்கு அளப்பார்.

Scripture Meditation No: 1685
AATHAVAN – 18.09.2025, Thursday

“Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?” (Luke 6:41)

A common tendency in human nature is to find fault with others. Yet those who point out the faults of others often fail to realize that they themselves carry the very same weaknesses. Many give eloquent advice to others, but they themselves do not live according to the very counsel they offer. In today’s meditation verse, the Lord Jesus Christ warns us not to live in such a way.

Psychologists explain this behaviour as follows: “When we are caught up in our own struggles, emotions cloud our judgment, causing us to overthink and even imagine the worst. But when giving advice to others, we are able to step back, think more clearly, realistically, and rationally.”

But that is not the real reason. The true reason is that everyone wants to see themselves as better and more righteous than others. Even when guilty of the same sins, people assume that when they advise others, they are still considered good and wise.

In the spiritual life, this is not the right path. Self-examination is vital. When we resist being ruled by emotions and instead act with sober and realistic judgment, we will overcome the habit of fault-finding. The Apostle Paul lived this way. He gave counsel to many churches through his letters and preaching. Yet he always carried the conviction that he himself must also live according to what he preached. That is why he said:

“But I strictly discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.” (1 Corinthians 9:27, NASB)

Jesus also warns us that in both worldly and spiritual life, if we judge and condemn others, we too will be judged in the same way before God. “For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.” (Matthew 7:2, NASB)

Not all people in the world have the same knowledge or maturity. Some remain childish in their understanding even as they grow older. Similarly, in the spiritual life, not all have the same level of faith. Therefore, Paul reminds us not to despise or condemn those who are weaker in faith: “For through your knowledge the one who is weak is ruined, the brother or sister for whose sake Christ died.” (1 Corinthians 8:11, NASB)

So, before we criticize others or offer advice, let us pause to ask: Am I qualified? Do I have faults myself? Let us first recognize and remove the log in our own eye; then we can carefully help our brother remove the speck from his eye. Only then will the measure we use for others become the measure God uses for us.

🦋 Meditation verse - சங்கீதம் 147 : 13-14 / Psalm 147:13–14

"விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1684                                           ஆதவன் 17.09.2025  புதன்      

"அவர் உன் வாசல்களின் தாழ்ப்பாள்களைப் பலப்படுத்தி, உன்னிடத்திலுள்ள உன் பிள்ளைகளை ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறார். அவர் உன் எல்லைகளைச் சமாதானமுள்ளவைகளாக்கி, உசிதமான கோதுமையினால் உன்னைத் திருப்தியாக்குகிறார்." ( சங்கீதம் 147 : 13-14 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நாம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து நீதியுள்ள ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது நமக்கு வரும் ஆசீர்வாதத்தினை எடுத்துக்கூறுவதாக இருக்கின்றது.  நாம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து அவரது கிருபையைச் சார்ந்து வாழும்போது நமக்கு ஆசீர்வாதம் உண்டு. இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின் ஒரு வசனத்துக்குமுன் நாம்  பின்வருமாறு வாசிக்கின்றோம்:- "தமக்குப் பயந்து, தமது கிருபைக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்கள்மேல் கர்த்தர் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறார்." ( சங்கீதம் 147 : 11 ) என்று. 

இப்படிக்  கர்த்தர் நம்மேல் பிரியமாக இருந்து என்னவிதமான ஆசீர்வாதங்களைத் தருகின்றார் என்பதே இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துவது. இதில் முதலாவதாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது, "உன் வாசல்களின் தாழ்ப்பாள்களைப் பலப்படுத்தி, உன்னிடத்திலுள்ள உன் பிள்ளைகளை ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறார்" என்று. அதாவது இது நமக்கு தேவனது பாதுகாப்பு உண்டு என்பதனைக் கூறுகின்றது. நமது வீடுகளில் கதவின் தாழ்ப்பாள்களை நாம் உறுதியாக வைத்திருப்போம். காரணம், கதவுகளின் தாழ்ப்பாள் உறுதியாக இருந்தால்தான் திருடர்களிடமிருந்து நமக்குப் பாதுகாப்புக் கிடைக்கும். 

இதுபோலவே சாத்தான் நம்மைத் தாக்கி அழிக்காதபடி வலுவான  பாதுகாப்பாகக் கர்த்தர் இருப்பார். நமக்கு மட்டுமல்ல, நம்மூலம் நமது பிள்ளைகளுக்கும்  இந்தப்பாதுகாப்புக் கிடைக்கின்றது. 

இரண்டாவதாக இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் நாம்,  "அவர் உன் எல்லைகளைச் சமாதானமுள்ளவைகளாக்குக்கின்றார்" என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். இந்த உலகத்தில் மனிதர்களைப் பாதிக்கும் பெரிய பிரச்சனை சமாதானக் குறைவு. மனச்சமாதானமில்லாமல் பெரிய பெரிய செல்வந்தர்களும் புகழ்பெற்ற பிரமுகர்களும் பலவேளைகளில் மனச்சமாதானமின்றி தற்கொலை செய்து மடிவதை நாம் பார்க்கின்றோம். ஆனால் கர்த்தரைத் தேடுபவர்களுக்குப் பூரண சமாதானம் உண்டு.  ஆம், "கர்த்தர் தமது ஜனத்திற்குப் பெலன் கொடுப்பார்; கர்த்தர் தமது ஜனத்திற்குச் சமாதானம் அருளி, அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார்." ( சங்கீதம் 29 : 11 )

இறுதியாக, "உசிதமான கோதுமையினால் உன்னைத் திருப்தியாக்குகிறார்." என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. இது, உணவு, உடை, உறைவிடம் போன்ற உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களைக் குறிக்கின்றது. வெறுமனே கோதுமையினால் என்று கூறாமல், "உசிதமான கோதுமையினால்" என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதாவது "மிகச்சிறப்பான" என்று பொருள். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, கர்த்தரை மகிமைப்படுத்தும் வாழ்வு வாழும்போது அவர் நம்மை இப்படி மிகச்சிறப்பாக ஆசீர்வதிக்கின்றார். 

ஆதலால் நாம் தேவனுக்குப் பயந்து, பொல்லாப்புக்கு விலகி ஆவிக்குரிய ஆராதனை செய்து நம்மை முழுவதும் அவருக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து அவரது கிருபைக்குக் காத்திருப்போம். அப்போது கர்த்தர் நம்மேல் பிரியமாய் இருந்து தனது வாக்கை நமக்கு நிறைவேற்றுவார். நமது பாதுகாப்பு, குழந்தைகளின் பாதுகாப்பு, உண்மையான பூரண மனச்சமாதானம் இவற்றோடுகூட நமக்கு இந்த உலகத்தில் மேலான ஆசீர்வாதம் இவைகளைக் கர்த்தர் நமக்கு வாக்களித்துள்ளார்.  அவரது கிருபையினைப் பற்றிக்கொள்வோம். 

"ஆதலால், அசைவில்லாத ராஜ்யத்தைப் பெறுகிறவர்களாகிய நாம் பயத்தோடும் பக்தியோடும் தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமாய் ஆராதனை செய்யும்படி கிருபையைப் பற்றிக்கொள்ளக்கடவோம்." ( எபிரெயர் 12 : 28 )

Inside the Seeds 🌳

Scripture Meditation No. 1684
AATHAVAN – 17.09.2025, Wednesday

“For He strengthens the bars of your gates; He blesses your sons among you. He makes peace in your borders; He satisfies you with the finest of the wheat.” (Psalm 147:13–14, NASB)

Today’s meditation verse highlights the blessings that come when we live a life of righteousness in the fear of the Lord. When we walk in reverence before Him and depend on His grace, blessings follow us. Just one verse before today’s passage, we read:

“The Lord Favors those who fear Him, those who wait for His faithfulness.” (Psalm 147:11, NASB)

Thus, today’s scripture shows the ways in which God, out of His delight in us, pours out His blessings. The first blessing mentioned is:

“For He strengthens the bars of your gates; He blesses your sons among you.”

This speaks of God’s protection. In our homes, we keep our doors bolted securely, because only when the locks are firm do we feel safe from thieves. Likewise, the Lord Himself becomes our strong defence so that Satan cannot attack and destroy us. This protection is not only for us but also extends to our children through us.

The second blessing is: “He makes peace in your borders.” One of the greatest struggles of mankind today is the lack of peace. Even wealthy and famous people, without inner peace, often end up taking their own lives. But those who seek the Lord are given perfect peace. Yes, the psalmist declares:

“The Lord will give strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.” (Psalm 29:11, NASB)

Finally, the verse says: “He satisfies you with the finest of the wheat.”

This points to earthly blessings such as food, clothing, and shelter. Notice, it does not simply say wheat, but the finest of the wheat. This means the very best. Dear beloved, when we live a life that glorifies God, He blesses us abundantly—with the best.

Therefore, let us fear the Lord, turn away from evil, worship Him in spirit, surrender ourselves fully to Him, and wait for His grace. Then He, delighting in us, will fulfil His promises—granting us protection, safeguarding our children, giving us true peace, and blessing us with every good gift in this world. Let us hold firmly to His grace.

“Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let’s show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe.” (Hebrews 12:28, NASB)

🦋 Motivational verse - 2 தீமோத்தேயு 1 : 7 / 2 Timothy 1:7

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1683                                          ஆதவன் 16.09.2025  செவ்வாய்     

"தேவன் நமக்குப் பயமுள்ள ஆவியைக் கொடாமல், பலமும் அன்பும் தெளிந்த புத்தியுமுள்ள ஆவியையேக்  கொடுத்திருக்கிறார்." ( 2 தீமோத்தேயு 1 : 7 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவருக்கும் அசுத்தஆவிக்குமுள்ள வித்தியாசத்தை நாம் உணர்ந்துகொண்டு ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் முன்னேறிச்செல்ல உதவிசெய்கின்றது. 

அசுத்தஆவி பிடித்த மனிதன் ஒருவனைக்குறித்து நாம் மாற்கு சுவிசேஷத்தில் வாசிக்கின்றோம். "அவனுடைய குடியிருப்பு கல்லறைகளிலே இருந்தது; அவனைச் சங்கிலிகளினாலும் கட்ட ஒருவனாலும் கூடாதிருந்தது. அவன் அநேகந்தரம் விலங்குகளினாலும் சங்கிலிகளினாலும் கட்டப்பட்டிருந்தும், சங்கிலிகளை முறித்து, விலங்குகளைத் தகர்த்துப்போடுவான்; அவனையடக்க ஒருவனாலும் கூடாதிருந்தது" ( மாற்கு 5 : 3-4 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. புத்தித் தெளிவில்லாத அவன்  மனிதர்களுக்கு தீங்குசெய்துவிடுவான் என்று அவனை சங்கிலிகளால்  கட்டிவைத்திருந்தார்கள். அவன் அவற்றையும் முறித்துவிட்டு அடக்கமுடியாதபடி மக்களுக்குக் கெடுதல் செய்துகொண்டிருந்தான்.  

அதாவது, அசுத்த ஆவிபிடித்த இந்த மனிதன் பயமுறுத்துபவனும், புத்தித் தெளிவில்லாதவனும், அன்பற்றவனுமாக இருந்தான். ஆனால் இதற்கு மாறாக, பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் பலமும் அன்பும் தெளிந்த புத்தியுமுள்ள ஆவியானவராக இருக்கின்றார். அவர் நமக்குத் திடன் தருகின்றார்.  அன்பினால் நம்மை வழிநடத்துகின்றார், நாம் சரியான வழியில் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வைத்தொடர தெளிவான புத்தியைத் தருபவராக இருக்கின்றார். மட்டுமல்ல, நம்மை ஆவிக்குரியக் கனிதருபவர்களாக மாற்றுகின்றார். "ஆவியின் கனியோ, அன்பு, சந்தோஷம், சமாதானம், நீடியபொறுமை, தயவு, நற்குணம், விசுவாசம், சாந்தம், இச்சையடக்கம்; இப்படிப்பட்டவைகளுக்கு விரோதமான பிரமாணம் ஒன்றுமில்லை." ( கலாத்தியர் 5 : 22-23 )

அசுத்த ஆவி பயமுள்ள ஆவி என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. நாம் அசுத்த ஆவிபிடித்த மனிதனைப்போல பயமுள்ள ஆவியைப்பெறவில்லை.  மேலும், வேதாகமத்தை நாம் வாசிக்கும்போது அனைத்து இடங்களிலும் "அசுத்தஆவி பிடித்தவன்" அல்லது "பிசாசு பிடித்தவன்" என்ற வார்த்தைகளே பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளதை நாம் பார்க்கலாம். நாமும் பொதுவாக, "பிசாசு பிடித்தவன்" என்றுதான் கூறுவோம். ஆனால் தேவனுடைய பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் நம்மை இப்படிப் பிடிப்பவரல்ல, மாறாக நம்மேல் வருபவர்; நம்மீது இறங்குபவர்.  அவர் வரும்போது நாம் பெலனடைகின்றோம்; சாட்சியுள்ள ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழ்கின்றோம். "பரிசுத்த ஆவி உங்களிடத்தில் வரும்போது நீங்கள் பெலனடைந்து, எருசலேமிலும், யூதேயா முழுவதிலும், சமாரியாவிலும், பூமியின் கடைசிப்பரியந்தமும், எனக்குச் சாட்சிகளாயிருப்பீர்கள்"  ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 1 : 8 ) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறவில்லையா?

சாட்சியுள்ள வாழ்க்கையே பரிசுத்தஆவி பெற்றவர்களுக்கு அடையாளம். ஆனால், "பூமியின் கடைசிப்பரியந்தமும், எனக்குச் சாட்சிகளாயிருப்பீர்கள்" என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக்  கூறியதற்கு மாறாக இன்று பல கிறிஸ்த ஊழியர்கள் சாட்சியில்லாத வாழ்க்கை வாழ்பவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர்;  வஞ்சிக்கிற அசுத்த ஆவிகளைக்கொண்டவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர். பிற மதத்தினர் மத்தியில் இவர்கள் கிறிஸ்தவர்களுக்கு அவப்பெயரை ஏற்படுத்துகின்றனர். பத்திரிகைகளில் கிறிஸ்தவ ஊழியர்கள்பற்றி வரும் பலச்செய்திகள் இதனை உறுதிப்படுத்துகின்றன. 

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின் அடிப்படையில் பார்ப்போமானால் ஏதாவது கூறி மக்களைப்  பயமுறுத்தும் ஊழியர்கள் (குறிப்பாகத் தசமபாக காணிக்கை கொடுக்கவில்லையானால் சாபம் வரும் என மக்களைப் பயமுறுத்தி பணம் சம்பாதிப்பவர்கள்), அன்பில்லாத ஊழியர்கள், வேதத்தைத் தெளிவாக போதிக்காத ஊழியர்கள் போன்றோர் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரைப் பெற்றவர்களல்ல.  ஆவிகளைப் பகுத்தறியும் வரம் (1 கொரிந்தியர் 12:10) இருந்தாலே நாம் இவர்களைத் தெளிவாக இனம்காணமுடியும். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவன் நமக்குப் பயமுள்ள ஆவியைக் கொடாமல், பலமும் அன்பும் தெளிந்த புத்தியுமுள்ள ஆவியையே கொடுத்திருக்கிறார். அதுவும் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய நன்மைகளுக்காகவே கொடுத்துள்ளார். இந்த ஆவியானவரையே  வாழ்வில் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள வாஞ்சிப்போம். அப்போதுதான் நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் வெற்றிபெற்று கிறிஸ்துவுக்குச் சாட்சிகளாக வாழமுடியும்.

“For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.” (2 Timothy 1:7, NASB)

Today’s meditation verse helps us recognize the difference between the Holy Spirit and unclean spirits, and it guides us to move forward in our spiritual life.

In the Gospel of Mark, we read about a man possessed by an unclean spirit:
“He had his dwelling among the tombs. And no one was able to bind him anymore, even with a chain; because he had often been bound with shackles and chains, and the chains had been torn apart by him and the shackles broken in pieces, and no one was strong enough to subdue him.” (Mark 5:3–4, NASB).

Since he lacked a sound mind, people feared he would harm others and tried to restrain him with chains. Yet he would break them and continue causing destruction.

This shows us that a man with an unclean spirit is fearful, without sound judgment, and without love. In contrast, the Holy Spirit is a Spirit of power, love, and discipline. He strengthens us, leads us with love, grants us clarity of mind to walk in the right spiritual path, and also makes us fruitful. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22–23, NASB).

The unclean spirit is described as a spirit of fear. But we have not received such a spirit. Also, throughout the Bible, whenever unclean spirits are mentioned, it is written as “demon-possessed” or “possessed by an unclean spirit.” We, too, usually say “possessed by a demon.” But the Holy Spirit is not one who “possesses” us like that—rather, He comes upon us and descends on us. When He comes, we receive power and live as witnesses. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8, NASB).

A life of witness is the true sign of one who has received the Holy Spirit. But sadly, contrary to Christ’s words— “you shall be My witnesses”—many Christian ministers today live without testimony, deceived by unclean spirits. Among people of other faiths, they bring reproach to Christianity. Many reports about Christian ministers in newspapers confirm this.

Based on today’s meditation verse, ministers who frighten people with words (for example, those who say, “If you don’t give tithes, you will be cursed”), ministers who lack love, and ministers who fail to teach the Word clearly are not those filled with the Holy Spirit. By the gift of discernment of spirits (1 Corinthians 12:10), we can recognize them clearly.

Yes, beloved, God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power, love, and discipline. He has given this Spirit for our spiritual benefit. Let us earnestly desire to receive this Spirit in our lives. Only then will we live a victorious spiritual life and bear witness for Christ.

🦋 Meditation verse - சங்கீதம் 4 : 2 / Psalm 4:2

"விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1682                                          ஆதவன் 15.09.2025  திங்கள்    

"மனுபுத்திரரே, எதுவரைக்கும் என் மகிமையை அவமானப்படுத்தி, வீணானதை விரும்பி, பொய்யை நாடுவீர்கள்." ( சங்கீதம் 4 : 2 )

உலகப் பொருட்களுக்கு இன்றைய வசனம் இரண்டு பெயர்களைக் கொடுத்துள்ளது. அவை "வீணானவை", "பொய்யானவை" என்பனவாகும். இப்படி வீணானவைகளையும் பொய்யானவைகளையும் விரும்பி எதுவரை என் மகிமையை அவமானப்படுத்துவீர்கள்? என்று கேட்கின்றார் பரிசுத்தரான தேவன்.   

மேலும், கர்த்தருக்கு நாம் செலுத்தவேண்டிய மகிமையைச் செலுத்தாமல் இருப்பது அவரை அவமானப்படுத்துவதாகும். உலகப் பொருட்களுக்கும் தேவனுக்கும் நாம் செலுத்தவேண்டிய முக்கியத்துவம் வெவ்வேறானவை. உலகப் பொருட்களா தேவனா என்று கேள்வி எழும்பும்போது நாம் தேவனுக்கே முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுக்கவேண்டும். அப்படிக் கொடுக்காமலிருப்பது அவரை அவமானப்படுத்துவதாகும். 

இந்த உலகத்தில் பலவேளைகளில் மற்றவர்களைத் திருப்திப்படுத்தவேண்டுமென்று  கர்த்தருக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டிய முக்கியத்துவத்தைக் கொடுக்கத் தவறிவிடுகின்றோம். இது நமது சுய லாபத்துக்காகவோ பயத்தினாலோ இருக்கலாம். ஆனால் நாம் சூழ்நிலைகளைப் பார்க்காமல் கர்த்தருக்கே முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்து அவரை மகிமைப்படுத்தினோமென்றால் நிச்சயமாக அவர் நம்மை அவமானப்படவிடமாட்டார். 

அன்று "மோசே மலையிலிருந்து இறங்கிவரத் தாமதிக்கிறதை ஜனங்கள் கண்டபோது, அவர்கள் ஆரோனிடத்தில் கூட்டங்கூடி. அவனை நோக்கி: எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து எங்களை அழைத்துக்கொண்டு வந்த அந்த மோசேக்கு என்ன சம்பவித்ததோ அறியோம்; ஆதலால் நீர் எழுந்து எங்களுக்கு முன்செல்லும் தெய்வங்களை எங்களுக்காக உண்டுபண்ணும் என்றார்கள்."  (யாத்திராகமம் 32 : 1 )  அவர்களுக்குப் பயந்த  ஆரோன் பொன்னினால் ஒரு கன்றுக்குட்டியை உருவாக்கி அவர்கள்முன் வைத்து, எகிப்திலிருந்து உங்களை வரவழைத்துக்  கொண்டுவந்த தேவன் இவரே" என்று கூறினான்.  

மட்டுமல்ல, "ஆரோன் அதைப் பார்த்து, அதற்கு முன்பாக ஒரு பலிபீடத்தைக் கட்டி, நாளைக்குக் கர்த்தருக்குப் பண்டிகை என்று கூறினான். மறுநாள் அவர்கள் அதிகாலையில் எழுந்து, சர்வாங்கத் தகனபலிகளையிட்டு, சமாதானபலிகளைச் செலுத்தினார்கள்." ( யாத்திராகமம் 32 : 5, 6 )

இப்படி நாமும்  கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்தவேண்டிய ஆராதனையைப் பிறருக்குச் செலுத்தும்போது நாமும் அவமானமடைந்து கர்த்தரையும் அவமானப்படுத்துகின்றோம்; நிர்வாணிகளாகின்றோம் என்று பொருள். இப்படித்தான்  ஆரோன் செய்த செயல் இருந்தது "ஜனங்கள் தங்கள் பகைவருக்குள் அவமானப்படத்தக்கதாக ஆரோன் அவர்களை நிர்வாணமாக்கியிருந்தான்." ( யாத்திராகமம் 32 : 25 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். "நான் கர்த்தர், இது என் நாமம்; என் மகிமையை வேறொருவனுக்கும், என் துதியை விக்கிரகங்களுக்கும் கொடேன்." ( ஏசாயா 42 : 8 ) என்கின்றார் பரிசுத்தர். 

விக்கிரகங்கள் என்பது சிலைகள் மட்டுமல்ல, தேவனைவிட்டு வேறு உலக காரியங்களுக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுப்பதையும் குறிக்கும். பொருளாசை மிகப்பெரிய விக்கிரக ஆராதனை. "விபசாரக்காரனாவது, அசுத்தனாவது, விக்கிரகாராதனைக்காரனாகிய பொருளாசைக்காரனாவது தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யமாகிய கிறிஸ்துவின் ராஜ்யத்திலே சுதந்தரமடைவதில்லையென்று அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்களே. " ( எபேசியர் 5 : 5 ) என்று பவுலடிகள் கூறுகின்றார்.

நமது இரட்சிப்பின் ஆடையினை உரிந்து நம்மை அவமானப்படுத்திட சாத்தான் பொருளாசையினை நமது இருதயத்தில் விதைக்கின்றான்.  எனவே நாம் எச்சரிக்கையாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவோடு பன்னிருவருள் ஒருவனாக இருந்த யூதாஸ் சாத்தான் இருதயத்தில் விதைத்தப்  பொருளாசையால் இரட்சிப்பை இழந்து அவமானடைந்து தற்கொலை செய்துகொள்ளவில்லையா? எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, கர்த்தரது மகிமையை அவமானப்படுத்திடாமல், வீணானதை விரும்பி, பொய்யை நாடாமல் நம்மைக் காத்துக்கொள்வோம்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1682
AATHAVAN – Monday, 15.09.2025

“You sons of mankind, how long will My honour be treated as an insult? How long will you love what is worthless and strive for a lie?” (Psalm 4:2, NASB)

In today’s verse, the Word of God gives two names to the things of this world: “worthless” and “false.” The Holy God asks: How long will you love what is worthless and pursue what is false, thus dishonouring My glory?

Failing to give God the glory that belongs to Him is itself dishonouring Him. The importance we give to worldly things and to God cannot be the same. When the question arises—worldly things or God—we must choose to honour God. If not, we bring Him dishonour.

Often in this world, we fail to give God the priority due to Him, just to please others. This may be for selfish gain or out of fear. But if we honour God above circumstances and people, He will surely not let us be put to shame.

In the wilderness, “Now when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain, the people assembled around Aaron and said to him, ‘Come, make us a god who will go before us; for this Moses, the man who brought us up from the land of Egypt—we do not know what happened to him.’” (Exodus 32:1, NASB). Out of fear of the people, Aaron made a golden calf and declared, “This is your god, Israel, who brought you up from the land of Egypt.”

Not only that, “Now when Aaron saw this, he built an altar in front of it; and Aaron made a proclamation and said, ‘Tomorrow shall be a feast to the LORD.’ So, the next day they got up early, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and got up to engage in lewd behaviour.” (Exodus 32:5–6, NASB)

In the same way, when we give our worship—meant for God—to others or to worldly things, we dishonour God and are left exposed. About Aaron’s act it is written: “Now when Moses saw that the people were out of control—for Aaron had let them get out of control to the point of becoming an object of ridicule among their enemies—” (Exodus 32:25, NASB). God Himself declares: “I am the LORD, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to idols.” (Isaiah 42:8, NASB).

Idols are not just carved images; they include anything that takes priority over God in our lives. Greed itself is idolatry. As Paul warns: “For this you know with certainty, that no sexually immoral or impure or greedy person, which amounts to an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.” (Ephesians 5:5, NASB).

Satan sows greed in our hearts in order to strip away the garment of salvation and put us to shame. Judas, one of the twelve, was ruined by greed sown into his heart by Satan. He lost his salvation, fell into disgrace, and ended his life by suicide.

Therefore, beloved, let us guard ourselves carefully. Let us not dishonour God’s glory, nor love what is worthless, nor pursue what is false.

🦋 Meditation verse - பிலிப்பியர் 4 : 13 / Philippians 4:13

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1681                                          ஆதவன் 14.09.2025 ஞாயிறு   

"என்னைப் பெலப்படுத்துகிற கிறிஸ்துவினாலே எல்லாவற்றையுஞ்செய்ய எனக்குப் பெலனுண்டு." ( பிலிப்பியர் 4 : 13 )

இந்த உலகத்தில் மனிதர்கள் தங்களது உடல் பலம், பதவி அதிகாரம், பணம்,  இவற்றின் அடிப்படையில் பெருமைகொண்டு,  "எல்லாவற்றையுஞ்செய்ய எனக்குப் பெலனுண்டு" என்று கூறுவதுண்டு. இப்படித்  தமிழக அரசியலில் பதவி வெறிகொண்டு தங்களுக்கு வானளவு அதிகாரம் உள்ளதாகப் பெருமையடித்து  அழிந்துபோனவர்களையும் நாம் பார்த்திருக்கின்றோம். 

ஆனால், மனிதர்களாகிய நாம் பலவீனமானவர்கள். நம்மால் நம்மைக்கொண்டு எதனையும் செய்யமுடியாது என்ற அறிவு நமக்கு வேண்டும். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவன் நினைத்தால் ஒரே நொடியில் நம்மை எதுவுமில்லாதவர்களாக மாற்றிடமுடியும். எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "எங்களால் ஏதாகிலும் ஆகும் என்பதுபோல ஒன்றை யோசிக்கிறதற்கு நாங்கள் எங்களாலே தகுதியானவர்கள் அல்ல; எங்களுடைய தகுதி தேவனால் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது.' ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 3 : 5 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

அப்போஸ்தலரான யாக்கோபும், "நாளைக்கு நடப்பது உங்களுக்குத் தெரியாதே. உங்கள் ஜீவன் எப்படிப்பட்டது? கொஞ்சக்காலந்தோன்றிப் பின்பு தோன்றாமற்போகிற புகையைப்போலிருக்கிறதே. ஆதலால்: ஆண்டவருக்குச் சித்தமானால், நாங்களும் உயிரோடிருந்தால், இன்னின்னதைச் செய்வோம் என்று சொல்லவேண்டும்" ( யாக்கோபு 4 : 14-15 ) என்று கற்தரைச்சார்ந்து முடிவுகளெடுக்க நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றார். 

நாம் நம்மை தேவனுக்கு முற்றிலும் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து வாழ்வோமானால் அவரது ஆவியினால் எல்லாம் ஆகும். இன்றைய தியான வசனத்துக்கு இணையான பழைய ஏற்பாட்டு வசனம், "பலத்தினாலும் அல்ல, பராக்கிரமத்தினாலும் அல்ல, என்னுடைய ஆவியினாலேயே ஆகும் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்." ( சகரியா 4 : 6 ) என்று கூறுகின்றது. ஆம், நமது மனித பலத்தினால் அல்ல தேவனுடைய ஆவியினாலே எல்லாம் கூடும். 

அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் கூறுவதுபோல நாமும் கூறவேண்டுமானால் நாம் கிறிஸ்து நமக்குள் வளர்ந்து நம்மைப் பலப்படுத்தவேண்டியது அவசியம். வேதாமகத்தில் நாம் பார்க்கும் அனைத்துப் பரிசுத்தவான்களும் நம்மைப்போன்ற பாடுள்ள பலவீனமான மனிதர்கள்தான். ஆனால் அவர்கள்மூலம் தேவன் வல்ல செயல்கள் செய்தார். இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான யாக்கோபு நமக்குப் பின்வருமாறு  நினைவுறுத்துகின்றார்:- "எலியா என்பவன் நம்மைப்போலப் பாடுள்ள மனுஷனாயிருந்தும், மழைபெய்யாதபடிக்குக் கருத்தாய் ஜெபம்பண்ணினான், அப்பொழுது மூன்று வருஷமும் ஆறு மாதமும் பூமியின்மேல் மழை பெய்யவில்லை." ( யாக்கோபு 5 : 17 )

ஆம் சாதாரண மனிதர்கள் தேவனது வல்லமையால் அசாதாரணச் செயல்களைச்  செய்தனர். "மனுஷரே, ஏன் இப்படிச் செய்கிறீர்கள்? நாங்களும் உங்களைப்போலப் பாடுள்ள மனுஷர்தானே; நீங்கள் இந்த வீணான தேவர்களைவிட்டு, வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் சமுத்திரத்தையும் அவைகளிலுள்ள யாவற்றையும் உண்டாக்கின ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனிடத்திற்குத் திரும்பவேண்டுமென்று உங்களுக்குப் பிரசங்கிக்கிறோம்." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 14 : 15 ) என்கின்றார் பேதுரு. 

"எல்லாவற்றையும் செய்ய எனக்குப் பெலனுண்டு" என்று கூறுவது தற்பெருமை. ஆனால் "பெலப்படுத்துகிற கிறிஸ்துவினாலே எல்லாவற்றையுஞ்செய்ய எனக்குப் பெலனுண்டு" என்று கூறுவது நம்மைத் தேவனுக்கு முற்றிலும் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பதற்கு அடையாளம். கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு நம்மை முற்றிலும் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து வாழ்வோம். அப்போது இந்த உலகத்தில் பாவங்களை மேற்கொண்டு வாழும் பலம் நமக்குக் கிடைக்கும். இதுவே மிகப்பெரிய பலம். இந்த பலத்தை முதலில் நாம் பெற்றுக்கொள்வோமானால் மட்டுமே நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கை வெற்றியுள்ள வாழ்க்கையாக அமையும்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1681
AATHAVAN – Sunday, 14.09.2025

“I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me.” (Philippians 4:13)

In this world, people boast in their physical strength, position, authority, or wealth, saying, “I can do all things.” We have seen even in Tamil Nadu politics, how some, in their craze for power, thought they had limitless authority—yet perished in their pride.

But as human beings, we are weak. We must realize that by ourselves we can do nothing. Yes, beloved, if God wills, He can reduce us to nothing in a single moment. That is why the Apostle Paul declared: “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.” (2 Corinthians 3:5)

The Apostle James also reminds us to depend on God in all our decisions: “Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.” (James 4:14-15)

When we surrender ourselves wholly to God, everything becomes possible through His Spirit. A corresponding Old Testament verse to today’s meditation says: “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Zechariah 4:6). Indeed, not by our human strength, but only by God’s Spirit can all things be accomplished.

If we too would declare with Paul, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me,” then Christ must grow within us and strengthen us. All the saints we read about in Scripture were ordinary, weak people like us. Yet God accomplished mighty deeds through them. As James reminds us: “Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.” (James 5:17)

Yes, ordinary men did extraordinary works by God’s power. As Paul and Barnabas testified: “Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein.” (Acts 14:15)

To say, “I can do all things,” in pride is arrogance. But to say, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me,” is the mark of a life surrendered to God. Let us yield ourselves fully to Christ. Then we shall receive strength to overcome sin and live victoriously in this world. This is true strength. Only when we first receive this strength can our spiritual life become a life of victory.

🦋 Meditation verse - எரேமியா 2: 27 / Jeremiah 2:27

  "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1680                                           ஆதவன் 13.09.2025 சனி  

"அவர்கள் தங்கள் முகத்தையல்ல, தங்கள் முதுகை எனக்குக் காட்டினார்கள்; தங்கள் ஆபத்துக்காலத்திலோ எழுந்து எங்களை இரட்சியும் என்கிறார்கள்." ( எரேமியா 2: 27)

தேவனுக்கு ஏற்பில்லாத வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வதையும் அவரை வாழ்வில் தேடாமல் வாழ்வதையும் தேவனுக்கு நமது முதுகினைக் காட்டுவதாக இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது.  பிரதமரோ, முதல்வரோ வரும்போது அவர்களை சந்திக்க நமக்கு வாய்ப்புக் கிடைக்குமானால் அதனைப் புறக்கணித்து அவர்களுக்கு நமது முகத்துக்குப் பதில் முதுகைத் திருப்பிக் காட்டிக்கொண்டு நிற்போமானால் அது நாம் அவர்களுக்குச் செய்யும் எத்தனை பெரிய அவமரியாதை!! 

ஒரு ராஜாவைப்போன்ற தேவன் இதுபோலவே நம்மைத் தேடி நமக்காகக் காத்துக்கொண்டு நிற்கின்றார். ஆனால் பெரும்பாலான மனிதர்களும் அவரை நோக்கிப்பார்க்காமல் தங்களது உலக நாட்டங்களில் ஆர்வம்கொண்டு அவருக்கு முதுகினைக் காட்டிக்கொண்டு நிற்கின்றார்கள். அதாவது,  அவருக்கு  உரிய மரியாதையினைக் கொடுக்கத் தவறியவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

ஆனால், இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம்,  "தங்கள் ஆபத்துக்காலத்திலோ எழுந்து எங்களை இரட்சியும் என்கிறார்கள்." என்று. அதாவது தேவனுக்கு எந்த மரியாதையையும் கொடுக்காமல் அவருக்கு ஏற்பில்லாத வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்துகொண்டு தங்களுக்கு வாழ்க்கையில் பிரச்சனைகள் ஏற்படும்போது மட்டும், "ஆண்டவரே எங்களை இரட்சியும்" என்று கூப்பாடுபோட்டு ஜெபிக்கின்றனர். மட்டுமல்ல, பல்வேறு காணிக்கைகளையும் பொருத்தனைகளையும் செய்து கொள்கின்றனர்.  இப்படி மனிதர்களில் பெரும்பாலானவர்களும் தேவனை அற்பமாகக்   கருதுகின்றனர். 

இப்படி வாழ்வோமானால், "உன் தீமை உன்னைத் தண்டிக்கும், உன் மாறுபாடுகள் உன்னைக் கண்டிக்கும்; நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை விடுகிறதும், என்னைப்பற்றும் பயம் உன்னிடத்தில் இல்லாமலிருக்கிறதும், எத்தனை பொல்லாப்பும் கசப்புமான காரியம் என்று உணர்ந்துகொள் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்." ( எரேமியா 2: 19)

இதுபோன்று தங்களது தேவைக்கு நம்மைப் பயன்படுத்தும் மக்களை நமது வாழ்வில் நாம் பார்த்திருக்கலாம். ஆனால் சர்வ லோகத்தையும் படைத்து ஆளும் தேவனை இப்படி நாம் தேவைக்குமட்டும் பயன்படுத்தலாம் என்று எண்ணிவிடக்கூடாது. 

தேவனுக்குத் தனது முதுகையேக்  காட்டி பாவத்திலேயே வாழும் மனிதன் தனது மனம் திரும்புதலுக்காக அவரைநோக்கி ஜெபிப்பதை தேவன் அங்கீகரிப்பார். மாறாக, மனம்திரும்பும் எண்ணம் சிறிதும் இல்லாமல் உலகத் தேவைக்காக மட்டுமே அவரை நோக்கிப்பார்க்கும்போது தேவன் அதனை அங்கீகரிப்பதில்லை. 

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, தேவனுக்கு நமது முதுகினைக் காட்டிவாழும் வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்துகொண்டடிருப்போமானால் நாம் பரிதபிக்கக்கூடியவர்களாக மாறிவிடுவோம். நமது முகத்தை அவருக்கு நேராகத் திருப்பி நமது பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட மன்றாடுவோம். அப்போது நாம் கூப்பிடும்போது தேவன் நமக்குச் செவிகொடுப்பார். தமது முகத்தை நமக்கு அவர் மறைக்கமாட்டார்.  "அவர்கள் அவரை நோக்கிப்பார்த்துப் பிரகாசமடைந்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் முகங்கள் வெட்கப்படவில்லை." ( சங்கீதம் 34: 5) என்று தாவீது கூறுவதுபோல நாம் வெட்கப்படாமல் இருப்போம்; நமது வாழ்க்கையும் பிரகாசமடையும்.

“Inside the Seeds” 🌳

Scripture Meditation No. 1680
AATHAVAN – 13.09.2025 – Saturday

“For they have turned their back unto me, and not their face: but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us.” (Jeremiah 2:27, KJV)

Today’s meditation verse reminds us that living a life that does not please God and failing to seek Him is like turning our back on Him. Imagine if we had the chance to meet a Prime Minister or Chief Minister, and instead of honouring them with our face, we deliberately turned our back to them—what great disrespect that would be!

In the same way, the King of kings patiently waits for us and seeks us, but most people ignore Him, being absorbed in worldly affairs, and turn their back on Him. This shows that they fail to give God the honour due unto Him.

Yet, as the Scripture says: “But in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us.” People who never regard God, who live in ways displeasing to Him, suddenly cry out, “Lord, save us!” when they are in distress. They even bring offerings and sacrifices at such times. In this way, many treat God lightly, using Him only in times of need.

But the Lord warns: “Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.” (Jeremiah 2:19, KJV)

We may have seen people in our own lives who use us only when they need us. But we must never think we can treat the Almighty Creator of heaven and earth in such a way.

If a sinner turns to God in repentance, He will hear their prayer. But if someone only seeks Him for worldly needs, without any thought of repentance, God will not accept it.

Beloved, if we live with our back toward God, we will end up in a pitiful state. Instead, let us turn our face to Him, confess our sins, and seek His forgiveness. Then, when we call upon Him, He will hear us and not hide His face from us. As David testified: “They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.” (Psalm 34:5, KJV) So also, we shall never be ashamed, and our lives will shine with His glory.

🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 65 : 10 / Isaiah 65:10

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1679                                          ஆதவன் 12.09.2025 வெள்ளி 

"என்னைத் தேடுகிற என் ஜனத்துக்குச் சாரோன் ஆட்டுத்தொழுவமாகவும், ஆகோரின் பள்ளத்தாக்கு மாட்டுக்கிடையாகவும் இருக்கும்." ( ஏசாயா 65 : 10 )

கர்த்தரைத் தேடுவது என்பது, தவறவிட்டப் பொருளை விளக்கினைப் பற்றவைத்து இருளில் தேடுவதுபோல தேடுவதைக் குறிப்பிடவில்லை. மாறாக, நமது வாழ்வில் நாம் கர்த்தருக்கேற்ற வாழ்க்கைவாழ முயலுவதைக் குறிக்கின்றது; கர்த்தர் அருவருக்கும் பாவக் காரியங்களுக்கு விலகி வாழ்வதைக் குறிக்கின்றது.   

இப்படிக்  கர்த்தரைத் தங்களது வாழ்வில் தேடும் மக்களுக்கு  மேலான ஆசீர்வாதம் உண்டு என்பதனை இன்றைய தியான வசனம் எடுத்துக் கூறுகின்றது. வரலாற்றுப் பின்னணியில் பார்ப்போமானால்  "சாரோன் சமவெளி" செழிப்பான ஒரு பகுதியாகும். இங்கு வளரும் ரோஜாக்கள் உலகின் மிகச்சிறந்தவையாகக் கருதப்படுகின்றன. உன்னதப்பாட்டு தேவனை சாரோனின் ரோஜாவுக்கு ஒப்பிட்டு,  "நான் சாரோனின் ரோஜாவும், பள்ளத்தாக்குகளின் லீலிபுஷ்பமுமாயிருக்கிறேன்." ( உன்னதப்பாட்டு 2 : 1 ) என்று கூறுகின்றது. நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவையும் நாம் சாரோனின் ரோஜாவுக்கு ஒப்பிடுகின்றோம்.

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறும்  உருவகம் தேவனை உண்மையுடன் தேடும் அவருடைய மக்களுக்குச்  சமாதானம், வளம், பாதுகாப்பு ஆகியவற்றால் நிறைந்த எதிர்காலம் உண்டு என்பதனைச் சுட்டிக்காட்டுகிறது. இதுபோல இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் ஆகோரின் பள்ளத்தாக்கு பற்றியும் வாசிக்கின்றோம். இந்தப் பள்ளத்தாக்கு, ஆகானின்  பாவத்துடனும் (யோசுவா 7:26) அதன் விளைவாக இஸ்ரவேலருக்கு ஏற்பட்ட துன்பத்துடனும் தொடர்புடையது. ஆனால் அது மாடுகள் அமைதியாய் படுக்கும் இடமாக, அதாவது மக்களுக்கு நம்பிக்கையையும் ஓய்விடத்தையும் அளிக்கும் இடமாக மாறும் என்று குறிப்பிடப்படுகிறது.

மொத்தத்தில் இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நமக்குக் கூறும் செய்தி, நாம் தேவனைத் தேடும் மக்களாகவும் அவரது ஐக்கியத்தை விரும்புபவர்களாகவும் இருப்போமானால் நமக்கு ஆசீர்வாதம் உண்டு என்பதனை எடுத்துக் கூறுகின்றது. "ஆட்டுத்தொழுவம், மாட்டுக்கிடை" எனும் வார்த்தைகள் உருவகமாக சமாதானத்துடன் வாழும் வாழ்கையினைக் குறிப்பதாக உள்ளது. பகலில் உணவுத்தேடி அலையும் ஆடுகளும் மாடுகளும் இரவில் இளைப்பாறும் இடங்களாக இவை உள்ளதுபோல, தேவனைத் தேடும் மக்களுக்கு இளைப்பாறுதல் உண்டு என்பதனை இன்றைய தியான வசனம் உருவகமாகக் கூறுகின்றது. 

இன்று உலக மக்கள் இளைப்பாறுதலும் அமைதியுமற்று அலைகின்றனர் அவர்களுக்கு கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இதுபோல  ஆட்டுத் தொழுவமாகவும் (யோவான் 10) மாட்டுக்கிடையாகவும் இருக்கின்றார். மேலும், "வருத்தப்பட்டுப் பாரஞ்சுமக்கிறவர்களே! நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் என்னிடத்தில் வாருங்கள்; நான் உங்களுக்கு இளைப்பாறுதல் தருவேன்" ( மத்தேயு 11 : 28 ) என்று அவர் நம்மை அன்புடன் அழைக்கவில்லையா?

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமக்குப் பூரணமான சமாதானமும், செழிப்பும் வேண்டுமானால் பணத்தைத் தேடுபவர்களாக அல்ல, மாறாக நாம் கர்த்தரை நமது வாழ்வில் அன்றாடம் தேடுகின்றவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். அப்போது, செழிப்பான பள்ளத்தாக்குகளில் ஆடுமாடுகளை அமைதியாகத் தங்கவைப்பதுபோல தேவன் நம்மையும் அமைதியுடன் வாழ வகைசெய்வார். "கர்த்தரையும் அவர் வல்லமையையும் நாடுங்கள்; அவர் சமுகத்தை நித்தமும் தேடுங்கள்." ( சங்கீதம் 105 : 4 )

Scripture Meditation No. 1679
AATHAVAN - Friday, 12.09.2025

"And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me." (Isaiah 65:10, KJV)

Seeking the Lord does not mean searching like one who lights a candle to look for a lost coin in the dark. Rather, it signifies striving to live a life pleasing unto Him and turning away from the sinful deeds which the Lord hates.

Today’s verse reminds us that great blessings are reserved for those who seek the Lord in their lives. Historically, the Plain of Sharon was a fertile and prosperous region. The roses grown there were considered among the finest in the world. The Song of Solomon compares God to the beauty of Sharon’s rose: “I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.” (Song of Solomon 2:1, KJV). Likewise, we compare our Lord Jesus Christ to the Rose of Sharon.

The imagery of today’s verse signifies a future filled with peace, abundance, and safety for those who earnestly seek God. It also mentions the Valley of Achor. This valley was associated with the sin of Achan and the trouble that befell Israel as a result (Joshua 7:26). Yet, the prophecy transforms it into a place where herds may lie down in safety, symbolizing hope, rest, and renewal for God’s people.

In essence, the message of today’s meditation is clear: if we are a people who seek the Lord and long for His fellowship, blessings will surely follow. The imagery of “fold of flocks” and “a place for herds” reflects a peaceful life. Just as sheep and cattle, after wandering in search of food during the day, find rest in their folds at night, so also those who seek the Lord will find rest for their souls.

Today, the people of the world wander restlessly without peace. But our Lord Jesus Christ is both the fold for the sheep (John 10) and the resting place for the herds. He lovingly invites us saying, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28, KJV).

Yes, beloved, if we truly desire perfect peace and prosperity, it is not by seeking money but by seeking the Lord daily in our lives. Then, just as He grants peaceful rest to sheep and cattle in fertile valleys, so will He cause us to dwell in peace. “Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore.” (Psalm 105:4, KJV)
