🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 48:17 / Isaiah 48:17

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1645                                          ஆதவன் 09.08.2025 சனி        

"இஸ்ரவேலின் பரிசுத்தராயிருக்கிற உன் மீட்பரான கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறதாவது: பிரயோஜனமாயிருக்கிறதை உனக்குப் போதித்து, நீ நடக்கவேண்டிய வழியிலே உன்னை நடத்துகிற உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நானே". (ஏசாயா 48:17)

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் தேவனே மெய்யான, மேலான போதகராக இருக்கின்றார் என்பதனையும் அவரது வழிநடத்துதல் மட்டுமே நம்மை நேரான பாதையில் நடத்தும் என்பதனையும் நமக்கு உணர்த்துகின்றது. 

இந்த உலகினில் தங்களை தேவனுடைய ஊழியக்காரர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொள்ளும் மனிதர்கள் வேதாகம வசனங்களுக்கு வெல்வேறு அர்த்தம் சொல்லி நம்மை நம்பவைக்கலாம். ஆனால், கர்த்தரது போதனையும் வேத வசனங்களுக்கு அவர் தரும் தெளிவும் வித்தியாசமானவை. காரணம், நம் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் வெறுமனே நாம் ஆராதிக்கும் ஒரு உருவமோ உயிரற்றவரோ அல்ல. நம்மிடமிருந்து ஆராதனையையும் புகழ்ச்சியையும் பெறுவதில் குறியாக இருபவரல்ல. மாறாக,  நாம் அவரைப்போல பரிசுத்தராகவும் அவரது சாயலாக மாறவும் வேண்டும் என ஆசைப்படுபவர்; அப்படி மாறிட நமக்கு உதவுபவர். 

எனவே, கர்த்தரது வழிநடத்தலுக்கு நம்மை முற்றிலும் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கும்போது நம்மை அவர் ஜீவவழியில் நடத்துவார்.  இன்றைய வசனத்தில் அதனைத்தான் அவர் கூறுகின்றார், "பிரயோஜனமாயிருக்கிறதை உனக்குப் போதித்து, நீ நடக்கவேண்டிய வழியிலே உன்னை நடத்துகிற உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நானே" என்று. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, அவரது வழி நடத்தலுக்கு நம்மை நாம் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். மனிதர்களது உபதேசங்கள் கொஞ்சகாலம் நமக்குக் கைகொடுக்கலாம். ஆனால் நிரந்தரமான போதனையும் வழிநடத்துதலும் கர்த்தரிடமே உண்டு. 

"நான் உனக்குப் போதித்து, நீ நடக்கவேண்டிய வழியை உனக்குக் காட்டுவேன்; உன்மேல் என் கண்ணை வைத்து, உனக்கு ஆலோசனை சொல்லுவேன்."( சங்கீதம் 32 : 8 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். அதாவது, அவர் நமக்குப் போதனை மட்டும் செய்பவரல்ல மாறாக நாம் நடக்கவேண்டிய வழியைக் காண்பிப்பதோடு அந்த வழியில் நாம் நடக்கின்றோமா என்பதனைக் கண்காணித்து நமக்கு ஆலோசனையும் வழங்குபவர். 

இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை தேவன் அக்கினித் தூணினாலும் மேகத் தூணினாலும் வழிநடத்தினார். அந்த அக்கினி ஸ்தம்பமும் மேக ஸ்தம்பமும் அவர்களைச் சரியாக வழிநடத்தியது. அந்த வழி நடத்தலுக்கு அவர்கள் கீழ்ப்படிந்து பயணம் செய்ததால் தான் எதிரி ராஜாக்களை முறியடித்து கானான் தேசத்தில் நுழைய முடிந்தது. இதனை நாம் யாத்திராகமம் புத்தகத்தில் வாசிக்கலாம். "வாசஸ்தலத்திலிருந்து மேகம் மேலே எழும்பும்போது, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் பிரயாணம்பண்ணப் புறப்படுவார்கள். மேகம் எழும்பாதிருந்தால், அது எழும்பும் நாள்வரைக்கும் பிரயாணம்பண்ணாதிருப்பார்கள்." ( யாத்திராகமம் 40 : 36, 37 )என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம்.

ஆம், பிரயோஜனமாயிருக்கிறதை நமக்குப் போதித்து, நாம்  நடக்கவேண்டிய வழியிலே நம்மை நடத்துகிற தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்   அவரே. இந்த உலகத்தில் வாழ்ந்த பல பரிசுத்தவான்களும் இப்படித் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் வழிநடத்துதலின்படி நடந்து வாழ்வில் வெற்றிபெற்றவர்கள்தான்.

ஜார்ஜ் முல்லர் எனும் தேவ மனிதனது வாழ்க்கை, சென்ற நூற்றாண்டில் வாழ்ந்த சாது சுந்தர்சிங் அவர்களது வாழ்க்கை இவற்றை நாம் வாசிக்கும்போது எப்படி தேவன் அவர்களை அன்றாட வாழ்வில் வழிநடத்தினார் என்று அறிவது வியப்பாக இருக்கும்.  அதே வழிநடத்துதலோடு இன்றும் அவர் தன்னைப் பற்றிக்கொள்ளும் விசுவாசிகளை வழிநடத்துகின்றார். ஆம், "அவர் நேற்றும் இன்றும் என்றும் மாறாதவராகவே இருக்கின்றார்". (எபிரெயர் 13:8).

அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் ஆலயங்களுக்குச் செல்லலாம், ஜெபக்கூட்டங்களில் பங்கு பெறலாம், ஆலயப் பணிகள் செய்ய உழைக்கலாம் ; ஆனால், தேவனோடு நமக்குத் தனிப்பட்ட உறவு இல்லையானால் எல்லாம் வீண்தான். அவரது வழிநடத்தலுக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து வாழும்போதுதான் தேவனது அருகாமையையும் அவர் நம்மை வழிநடத்துவதையும் வாழ்வில் கண்டுணர முடியும். 

இன்று பெரும்பாலான கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் தங்கள் பிரச்னைகளுக்குத் தீர்வுகாணப் பல்வேறு  ஊழியர்களை நாடி ஓடுகின்றனர். அதே அளவு ஆர்வத்தினை அவர்கள் தேவன்மேல் வைத்தார்களானால் நலமாய் இருக்கும்.   "பிரயோஜனமாயிருக்கிறதை உனக்குப் போதித்து, நீ நடக்கவேண்டிய வழியிலே உன்னை நடத்துகிற உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நானே, என்னிடம் வா"  என்று அறைகூவல்விடுத்து நம்மை அழைக்கின்றார் தேவன். அவரது குரலுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து அவரிடம் வருவோமானால் ஊழியர்கள் காட்டும் வழியைவிட மேலான வழியை நமது வாழ்வில் தேவன் காட்டுவார். அவர் காண்பிக்கும் வழியே மேலான வழியாக இருக்கும். தேவ ஊழியர்கள் காட்டும் வழியையல்ல; தேவன் காட்டும் வழியை வாழ்வில் அறிந்திட முயல்வோம்.

AATHAVAN – Saturday, 09 August 2025

"Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go." (Isaiah 48:17, KJV)

Today’s meditation verse reminds us that God Himself is the true and supreme Teacher, and that only His leading will keep us on the straight path.

In this world, there are people who call themselves servants of God, yet may twist the meaning of Scripture to make us believe their interpretations. But the teaching of the Lord, and the clarity He gives to His Word, are altogether different. Our Lord is not a lifeless image or a powerless being whom we worship from a distance. He is not merely focused on receiving our praise and worship. Rather, He longs for us to become holy as He is holy, to be transformed into His likeness — and He helps us to become so.

Therefore, when we wholly surrender to His guidance, He will lead us in the path of life. In today’s verse, He declares: "I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go." Yes, beloved, it is essential that we yield ourselves to His guidance. The teachings of men may help us for a while, but lasting instruction and eternal guidance are found only in the Lord.

We read: "I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye." (Psalm 32:8, KJV) — meaning, He is not merely One who teaches us, but also One who shows us the way we should walk, watches over us to see if we are walking in it, and gives us counsel.

God led the Israelites with a pillar of fire by night and a pillar of cloud by day. These pillars guided them perfectly, and as they obeyed His leading, they were able to defeat enemy kings and enter the land of Canaan. In the book of Exodus, we read: "And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys: But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up." (Exodus 40:36–37, KJV)

Yes, He is the LORD our God who teaches us to profit and leads us in the way we should go. Many saints who have lived in this world experienced this very guidance of God and succeeded in their lives.

When we read the lives of God’s servant George Müller, or Sadhu Sundar Singh of the last century, it is astonishing to see how God guided them in their daily walk. Even today, He continues to lead those who cling to Him in faith. Indeed, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever” (Hebrews 13:8, KJV).

Beloved, we may attend church services, participate in prayer meetings, and labour in church work — but if we have no personal relationship with God, it is all in vain. Only when we surrender to His guidance will we truly experience His nearness and His leading in our lives.

Today, many Christians run after various ministers seeking solutions to their problems. How much better it would be if they placed the same zeal and trust in the Lord! God calls us with the invitation: "I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go — come unto Me." If we will heed His voice and come to Him, the Lord will show us a way far better than any man can. His way is always the higher way. Let us therefore seek to know the way God shows, not merely the way shown by men.

🦋 Meditation verse - எபேசியர் 5 : 17 / Ephesians 5:17

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1644                                           ஆதவன் 08.08.2025 வெள்ளி       

"ஆகையால், நீங்கள் மதியற்றவர்களாயிராமல், கர்த்தருடைய சித்தம் இன்னதென்று உணர்ந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்." ( எபேசியர் 5 : 17 )

கர்த்தரது சித்தம் அறிந்து வாழ்வதே கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்வு. அப்படி இல்லாமல் வாழ்வது அறிவற்ற வாழ்வு என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. பழைய ஏற்பாடு மற்றும் புதிய ஏற்பாடு பக்தர்களும் இப்படித் தேவசித்தம் அறிந்து செயல்பட்டவர்கள்தான்.  நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தனது வாழ்வில் அனைத்துச் செயல்களையும் பிதாவின் சித்தப்படியே செய்தார். 

தான் உணர்தியும் தேவ சித்தம் செய்யாத மனிதர்களுக்குத் தேவன் தண்டனையும் கொடுத்தார். உதாரணமாக மேரிபாவின் தண்ணீர் பற்றிய காரியத்தில் தேவனது சித்தம் மலையைப்பார்த்து மோசே  பேசவேண்டும் என்பது. ஆனால் மோசே "தன் கையை ஓங்கி, கன்மலையைத் தன் கோலினால் இரண்டுதரம் அடித்தான்" (எண்ணாகமம் 20;11) எனவே தேவன் மோசே மற்றும் ஆரோன்மீது கோபம்கொண்டார். காரணம், தேவ சித்தம் செய்யாததை தேவன் விசுவாசக் குறைவாகப் பார்த்தார்.  எனவே கர்த்தர் "மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் நோக்கி: இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக என்னைப் பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணும்படி, நீங்கள் என்னை விசுவாசியாமற்போனபடியினால், இந்தச் சபையாருக்கு நான் கொடுத்த தேசத்துக்குள் நீங்கள் அவர்களைக் கொண்டுபோவதில்லை என்றார்." ( எண்ணாகமம் 20 : 12 )

இயேசு கிறிஸ்து பாடுபட்டு மரிக்கவேண்டும் என்பது பிதாவாகிய தேவனது சித்தம். அதனை இயேசு கிறிஸ்து அறிந்திருந்தார். ஆனால், அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு இயேசுவின்மேலிருந்த  அன்பினால் அப்படி நடக்கக்கூடாது என்று கூறினார். அது இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு மதியற்ற சிந்தனையாகவே இருந்தது. எனவேதான் அவர் "பேதுருவைப் பார்த்து: எனக்குப் பின்னாகப்போ, சாத்தானே, நீ எனக்கு இடறலாயிருக்கிறாய்; தேவனுக்கு ஏற்றவைகளைச் சிந்தியாமல் மனுஷருக்கு ஏற்றவைகளைச் சிந்திக்கிறாய் என்றார்."  (மத்தேயு 16:23)

மேலும் இயேசு தனது ஜெபத்தை தேவ சித்தத்துக்கு முழுவதும் தன்னை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தே ஜெபித்ததை நாம் பார்க்கலாம், கெத்செமனே தோட்டத்தில் அவர் ஜெபித்தபோது, "முகங்குப்புறவிழுந்து: என் பிதாவே, இந்தப் பாத்திரம் என்னைவிட்டு நீங்கக்கூடுமானால் நீங்கும்படி செய்யும்; ஆகிலும் என் சித்தத்தின்படியல்ல, உம்முடைய சித்தத்தின்படியே ஆகக்கடவது என்று ஜெபம்பண்ணினார்." ( மத்தேயு 26 : 39 )

எனவே, தேவ சித்தம் செய்து வாழ்வதையே தேவன் விரும்புகின்றார். இன்று பலவேளைகளில் நாமும் தேவ சித்தம் அறியாமல் அல்லது தேவ சித்தத்தை நாடாமல் பல காரியங்களைச்  செய்கின்றோம்.  இப்படி வாழ்வது மதியற்ற வாழ்வு என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது.   தேவனோடு நமக்குத் தனிப்பட்ட ஐக்கியம் இருக்குமானால் அவர் தனது சித்தத்தை நமக்கு வெளிபடுத்துவார்.  அப்படித் தேவ சித்தம் அறிந்து வாழ நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். அப்போஸ்தலர்பணி நூலை நாம் வாசிக்கும்போது தேவன் அப்போஸ்தலர்களை தேவன் தனது சித்தப்படி  வழிநடத்திய அனுபவங்களை நாம் கண்டுகொள்ளலாம்.  

இதே அனுபவங்களுடன் தேவன் இன்றும் தனது அடியார்களை வழிநடத்துகின்றார்.  கனவுகள், காட்சிகள், குரல்மூலம் பேசுதல், வேதாகமத்தை வாசிக்கும்போது உள்ளத்தில் உணர்த்துதல் போன்ற பல்வேறு வகைகளில் தேவன் தனது சித்தத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தித் தருகின்றார். இந்த வழிநடத்துதலின்படி நடக்கும்போது நமக்கு இடறல் ஏற்படாது, மட்டுமல்ல தேவன் நம்மோடு இருக்கின்றார் எனும் உறுதி நமக்குள் ஏற்படுவதால் மனதைரியம் ஏற்படும். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நாம் இத்தகைய அனுபவத்துடன் வாழவேண்டும் என்று நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது. எனவேதான், நீங்கள் மதியற்றவர்களாயிராமல், கர்த்தருடைய சித்தம் இன்னதென்று உணர்ந்துகொள்ளுங்கள் என்று நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து ஜெபித்ததைப்போல தேவ சித்தத்துக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து ஜெபிப்போம். தேவ சித்தத்துக்குக் கீழ்படியாத அவரது தாசனாகிய மோசேயையே தேவன் தண்டித்தாரென்றால்  நாமெல்லாம் எம்மாத்திரம்? "ஆண்டவரே உம்  சித்தத்தை எனக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தும்; உம் சித்தம்போல என்னை நடத்தும்"  என்று ஜெபிப்போம். அதுவே புத்தியுள்ள செயல் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நமக்கு உணர்த்துகின்றது.

AATHAVAN – Friday, 08.08.2025

"Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is." — Ephesians 5:17 (KJV)

To know and live by the will of the Lord—this is the true Christian life. Today’s meditation verse clearly states that to live without this understanding is to live foolishly.

Both Old and New Testament saints lived with an awareness of God's will. Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself did everything according to the will of the Father during His life on earth.

God has even punished those who knowingly did not obey His will. For example, regarding the incident at the waters of Meribah, God's will was for Moses to speak to the rock. But instead, “Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice:” — Numbers 20:11 (KJV)

Because of this disobedience, God's anger was kindled against both Moses and Aaron. Why? Because failing to do the will of God was seen as a lack of faith.

“And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.” — Numbers 20:12 (KJV)

It was the Father’s will that Jesus Christ should suffer and die. Jesus knew this. However, Peter, out of love for Jesus, said it should not happen. But that became a foolish thought in Jesus’ eyes.

“But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.”— Matthew 16:23 (KJV)

We also see how Jesus, in His prayer at Gethsemane, completely submitted Himself to the Father’s will:

“He fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt.” — Matthew 26:39 (KJV)

Yes, God desires that we live according to His will. Many times, however, we act without seeking or knowing His will. Today’s verse calls such a life unwise.

When we have a personal relationship with God, He reveals His will to us. Therefore, it is essential that we surrender ourselves to live according to His will.

In the Book of Acts, we read how God led the apostles according to His divine will—and He still guides His servants the same way today.

God reveals His will in various ways: through dreams, visions, His voice, or a deep inner conviction while reading the Word. When we walk according to His leading, we will not stumble, and we will have confidence and courage knowing that God is with us.

Today’s verse calls us to live in such an experience:

“Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.” — Ephesians 5:17 (KJV)

Dearly beloved, let us submit to the will of God and pray like our Lord Jesus did. If God judged even His servant Moses for disobeying His will, how much more should we be careful?

Let us pray: "Lord, reveal Thy will to me; lead me according to Thy will."

This is what today’s verse defines as wise living.

Meditation verse - 1 பேதுரு 5:8,9 / 1 Peter 5:8,9

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1643                                           ஆதவன் 07.08.2025 வியாழன்      

"தெளிந்த புத்தியுள்ளவர்களாயிருங்கள், விழித்திருங்கள்; ஏனெனில், உங்கள் எதிராளியாகிய பிசாசானவன் கெர்ச்சிக்கிற சிங்கம்போல் எவனை விழுங்கலாமோ என்று வகைதேடிச் சுற்றித்திரிகிறான். விசுவாசத்தில் உறுதியாயிருந்து, அவனுக்கு எதிர்த்து நில்லுங்கள்; உலகத்திலுள்ள உங்கள் சகோதரரிடத்திலே அப்படிப்பட்ட பாடுகள் நிறைவேறிவருகிறதென்று அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்களே." ( 1 பேதுரு 5 : 8, 9 )

விசுவாச வாழ்வில் நாம் வாழத் தடையாக இருப்பவை உலகத் துன்பங்கள்தான்.  கிறிஸ்துவை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டதால் துன்பங்கள் கிடையாது என்று பொருளல்ல; நாம் கிறிஸ்துவை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு அவருக்காக வாழும்போது மற்றவர்களைப்போன்ற துன்பங்கள் நமக்கும் ஏற்படும். எனவே இத்தகைய துன்பவேளைகளில் நாம் விழிப்புடன் இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது. 

"நீ இயேசு இயேசு என்று முட்டாள்த்தனமான வாழ்கின்றாயே, உனக்கு இந்தத் துன்பங்கள் ஏன் இன்னும் குறையவில்லை? கிறிஸ்துவை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாத பலர் உன்னைவிட நல்ல நிலையில் இருக்கின்றனரே?" எண்பது போன்ற எண்ணங்களைச் சாத்தான் நமது இருதயத்தில் விதைக்கலாம்.  காரணம், இதேபோலவே ஏதேனில் ஆதாம் ஏவாளை வஞ்சித்தவன் அவன். அதனால் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன். அடிபட்ட பாம்பாகிய சாத்தான் கெர்ச்சிக்கிற சிங்கம்போல் எவனை விழுங்கலாமோ என்று வகைதேடிச் சுற்றித்திரிகிறான். எனவே, விசுவாசத்தில் உறுதியாயிருந்து, அவனுக்கு எதிர்த்து நில்லுங்கள் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

சாத்தானின் வஞ்சகத்திலிருந்து நாம் தப்பித்துக்கொள்ள, தெளிந்த புத்தியுள்ளவர்களாக, விழித்திருக்க வேண்டியது அவசியம் என்று அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றார். ஏனெனில், உலகத்திலுள்ள உங்கள் சகோதரர்களும் நீங்கள் அனுபவிப்பதுபோன்ற பாடுகளை அனுபவித்துக்கொண்டுதான் இருக்கின்றார்கள். என்கின்றார் பேதுரு. 

இன்று ஆசீர்வாத போதகர்கள் போதிக்கும் போதனைகள்தான் கிறிஸ்தவர்களுக்கு சாத்தான் விதிக்கும் வஞ்சக வலைகள். நீங்கள் இன்னும் உலக ஆசீர்வாதம் பெறவில்லையானால் உங்களிடம் ஏதோ தவறு இருக்கின்றது என்று அவர்கள் போதிப்பார்கள்; நீங்கள் தேவனுக்கு தசமபாக காணிக்கை கொடுக்கவில்லை, அதனால்தான் உங்களுக்குத் துன்பம் எனக் கூறி ஏற்கெனவே துன்பப்பட்டுக்கொண்டிருக்கும் உங்களை மேலும் துன்பத்துக்குளாக்குவார்கள். எனவே,  "தெளிந்த புத்தியுள்ளவர்களாயிருங்கள், விழித்திருங்கள்" ஆசீர்வாத போதனைகள் நம்மை ஆவிக்குரிய பின்மாற்றத்துக்கு நேராக இழுத்துச் செல்லலாம். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, உலகத்திலுள்ள மற்றவர்களைப்போன்ற துன்பங்கள்தான் நமக்கு ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆனால் தேவன் நியமித்த காலத்தில் நம்மை அவற்றிலிருந்து விடுவிப்பார். இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின் முன்பு அப்போஸ்தலரான் பேதுரு, "ஆகையால், ஏற்றகாலத்திலே தேவன் உங்களை உயர்த்தும்படிக்கு, அவருடைய பலத்த கைக்குள் அடங்கியிருங்கள். அவர் உங்களை விசாரிக்கிறவரானபடியால், உங்கள் கவலைகளையெல்லாம் அவர்மேல் வைத்துவிடுங்கள்." ( 1 பேதுரு 5 : 6, 7 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

துன்பங்களைக்கண்டு பின்வாங்காமல் தெளிந்த புத்தியுள்ளவர்களாக விழிப்புடன் வாழ்வோம். சிங்கம்போன்ற சாத்தானின் தலையை ஏற்கெனவே இயேசு நசுக்கிவிட்டார்; எனவே சாத்தானுக்கு நம்மேல் எந்த அதிகாரமும் இல்லை; அவன் நம் காலின்கீழே. விசுவாசத்தில் உறுதியாயிருந்து, அவனுக்கு எதிர்த்து நிற்போம்.  "ஆதலால் இக்காலத்துப் பாடுகள் இனி நம்மிடத்தில் வெளிப்படும் மகிமைக்கு ஒப்பிடத்தக்கவைகள் அல்லவென்று எண்ணுகிறேன்." ( ரோமர் 8 : 18 ) என்று நமக்கு மேலும் பாடுகளைச் சகிக்க ஊக்கம் தருகின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல்.

AATHAVAN – Thursday, 07.08.2025

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world." — 1 Peter 5:8–9 (KJV)

In our life of faith, the hindrances we face often stem from the sufferings of this world. Accepting Christ does not mean a life free of troubles. On the contrary, when we choose to live for Christ, we will encounter the same sufferings others do. That is why today’s meditation urges us to stay alert and spiritually watchful in times of affliction.

Satan may plant thoughts like these in our hearts:
“You keep saying ‘Jesus, Jesus’ like a fool — why haven’t your troubles ended? Many who haven’t accepted Christ seem to be in a far better position than you!” Such seeds of doubt are sown by the same deceiver who beguiled Eve in the garden. Cursed and crushed, that ancient serpent still prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Therefore, today’s verse calls us to resist him steadfast in the faith.

To escape the deceptions of Satan, the apostle Peter exhorts us to be sober and vigilant. For he reminds us that our brethren around the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. We are not alone.

Today, many so-called “blessing preachers” teach doctrines that serve as deceptive traps laid by Satan. They preach: “If you have not yet received worldly blessings, something must be wrong with you. Perhaps you haven’t given your tithe to God—that’s why you’re suffering.”
Such teachings only increase the burdens of those already suffering. That’s why Scripture warns us: "Be sober, be vigilant." Blessing-cantered teachings can lead us into spiritual decline if we are not discerning.

Yes, beloved, the afflictions we endure are not unique to us; they are the same as what others in the world face. But at the appointed time, God will deliver us. Just before today's meditation verses, the apostle Peter writes:

"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." — 1 Peter 5:6–7 (KJV)

Let us not retreat in the face of suffering. Let us live with discernment and spiritual alertness. The head of the lion-like Satan has already been crushed by Jesus; therefore, he has no authority over us. He is under our feet. Let us resist him steadfast in the faith.

As the apostle Paul encourages us:

"For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." — Romans 8:18 (KJV)

🦋 Meditation verse - 2 கொரிந்தியர் 11 : 2 / 2 Corinthians 11:2

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1642                                          ஆதவன் 06.08.2025 புதன்     

"நான் உங்களைக் கற்புள்ள கன்னிகையாகக் கிறிஸ்து என்னும் ஒரே புருஷனுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்க நியமித்தபடியால், உங்களுக்காக தேவவைராக்கியமான வைராக்கியங் கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 11 : 2 )

ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை உண்மையோடும் உத்தமத்தோடும் பின்பற்றுவதை அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் கற்புள்ள பெண்ணின் வாழ்க்கைக்கு ஒப்பிடுகின்றார். கற்புள்ள பெண் தனது கணவன் ஒருவனைத்தவிர வேறு எவர் முகத்தையும் திரும்பிப்பார்க்க மாட்டாள்; எவரிடமும் கணவனிடம் காட்டுவதுபோன்ற அன்பைக்காட்டமாட்டாள். கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் இப்படி நாம் வைராக்கியமாக  அன்புகொண்டவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

ஏனெனில் தனது சுய இரத்தத்தைச் சிந்தி நம்மை மீட்டவரும் மனிதர்களாகிய நமக்கும் பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்கும் மத்தியஸ்தராக இருப்பவரும் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து ஒருவரே. "தேவன் ஒருவரே, தேவனுக்கும் மனுஷருக்கும் மத்தியஸ்தரும் ஒருவரே. எல்லாரையும் மீட்கும்பொருளாகத் தம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்த மனுஷனாகிய கிறிஸ்து இயேசு அவரே; இதற்குரிய சாட்சி ஏற்ற காலங்களில் விளங்கிவருகிறது." ( 1 தீமோத்தேயு 2 : 5, 6 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. எனவேதான்  அவர் மட்டுமே நமக்கு மத்தியஸ்தர் என்று கூறுகின்றோம். 

பழைய ஏற்பாட்டுக் காலத்தில் பாவங்களைப் போக்கிட மிருகங்களின் இரத்தம்  பலியிடப்பட்டது. பிரதான ஆசாரியர்கள் மிருகங்களின் இரத்தத்தால் தங்களைச் சுத்திகரித்துக்கொண்டு ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தில்  நுழைந்து மக்களுக்காக விண்ணப்பம் செய்தனர்.   புதிய ஏற்பாட்டின் மெல்கிசேதேக்கின் முறைமையின்படி நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவே  பிரதான ஆசாரியராக இருக்கின்றார். அவரே பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்குமுன் நின்று நமக்காக பரிந்துபேச முடியும். 

இதனையே நாம் எபிரெயர் நிருபத்தில், "கிறிஸ்துவானவர் வரப்போகிற நன்மைகளுக்குரிய பிரதான ஆசாரியராய் வெளிப்பட்டு, கையினால் செய்யப்பட்டதாகிய இந்தச் சிருஷ்டிசம்பந்தமான கூடாரத்தின் வழியாக அல்ல, பெரிதும் உத்தமுமான கூடாரத்தின் வழியாகவும், வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடா, இளங்காளை இவைகளுடைய இரத்தத்தினாலே அல்ல, தம்முடைய சொந்த இரத்தத்தினாலும் ஒரேதரம் மகா பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலே பிரவேசித்து, நித்திய மீட்பை உண்டுபண்ணினார்." ( எபிரெயர் 9 : 11, 12 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். எனவே, அவரே நமக்காக மத்தியஸ்தராக இருக்கமுடியும். 

இந்த வேதச் சத்தியங்களைவிட்டு உபதேசநாளைப் போதித்து நம்மை வேறு யாரும் வஞ்சித்துவிடக்கூடாது என்று தான் பயப்படுவதாக அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் குறிப்பிடுகின்றார். இதனையே அவர் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து,  "ஆகிலும், சர்ப்பமானது தன்னுடைய தந்திரத்தினாலே ஏவாளை வஞ்சித்ததுபோல, உங்கள் மனதும் கிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றிய உண்மையினின்று விலகும்படி கெடுக்கப்படுமோவென்று பயந்திருக்கிறேன்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 11 : 3 ) என்று குறிப்பிடுகின்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நம்மைக் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என   நாம் கூறிக்கொள்வது உண்மையானால், நாம் அவரை மட்டுமே நமது அனைத்துத் தேவைகளுக்கும் மத்தியஸ்தராக எண்ணிக்கொண்டு வாழவேண்டும். அவரிடமே நம்மை முற்றிலும் ஒப்படைக்கவேண்டும்.  இப்படி நாம் வாழவேண்டும் என்பதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "நான் உங்களைக் கற்புள்ள கன்னிகையாகக் கிறிஸ்து என்னும் ஒரே புருஷனுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்க நியமித்தபடியால்"  என்று கூறுகின்றார். கற்புள்ள பெண்களைப்போல வாழ்வோம். எனவே, "சகோதரரே, ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனை விட்டு விலகுவதற்கேதுவான அவிசுவாசமுள்ள பொல்லாத இருதயம் உங்களில் ஒருவனுக்குள்ளும் இராதபடிக்கு நீங்கள் எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள்." ( எபிரெயர் 3 : 12 )

"For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ." — 2 Corinthians 11:2 (KJV)

The apostle Paul compares the sincere and pure devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ with the life of a chaste virgin. Just as a pure woman remains devoted to one man—her husband—and turns not her eyes or affection to anyone else, we too are called to live with such single-hearted love and loyalty to Christ.

This is essential because it is Jesus Christ—who shed His own blood to redeem us—who stands as the only Mediator between God the Father and mankind. As it is written: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time." — 1 Timothy 2:5–6 (KJV)

That is why we boldly proclaim that He alone is our Mediator.

In the Old Testament, animals were sacrificed and their blood was offered to atone for sins. The high priests would sanctify themselves with this blood and enter the tabernacle to intercede for the people. But under the New Covenant, Jesus Christ, after the order of Melchizedek, is our Great High Priest.

Only He is worthy to stand before the Father and intercede on our behalf. This is confirmed in the book of Hebrews:

"But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands... Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us." — Hebrews 9:11–12 (KJV)

Therefore, Christ alone can be our perfect Mediator.

The apostle Paul expresses his fear that, just as the serpent deceived Eve with its cunning, someone may corrupt our minds from the simplicity and purity that is in Christ. This concern is stated in the very next verse of today’s meditation:

"But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." — 2 Corinthians 11:3 (KJV)

Dearly beloved, if we truly claim to be Christians, then we must consider only Christ as our Mediator in every need. We must wholly surrender ourselves to Him. This is what Apostle Paul means when he says,
"I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ."

Let us live as chaste virgins, faithful to our only Lord. Therefore, be cautious and vigilant:

"Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God." — Hebrews 3:12 (KJV)

🦋 Meditation verse - 1 கொரிந்தியர் 15 : 58 / 1 Corinthians 15:58

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1641                                           ஆதவன் 05.08.2025 செவ்வாய்        

"ஆகையால், எனக்குப் பிரியமான சகோதரரே, கர்த்தருக்குள் நீங்கள் படுகிறபிரயாசம் விருதாவாயிராதென்று அறிந்து, நீங்கள் உறுதிப்பட்டவர்களாயும், அசையாதவர்களாயும், கர்த்தருடைய கிரியையிலே எப்பொழுதும் பெருகுகிறவர்களாயும் இருப்பீர்களாக." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 15 : 58 )

பொதுவாக மனிதர்கள் நாம் எந்தக் காரியத்திலும் அவசரம் காட்டுபவர்களாக இருக்கின்றோம். எந்த ஒரு செயலுக்கும் உடனடியாக பிரதிபலன் கிடைக்கவேண்டுமென்று எண்ணுகின்றோம். ஒரு மரத்தை நட்டால்கூட அது வளர்ந்து பலன்தர நாம் காத்திருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். ஆனால் பல ஆவிக்குரிய மனிதர்கள் தங்களது செயல்பாடுகளுக்குத் தேவன் உடனடி பதில் அளிக்கவில்லையானால் சோர்ந்துபோகின்றனர். 

ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கை பஞ்சுமெத்தை வாழ்க்கையல்ல. ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் நாம் பல பாடுகளையும், ஒறுத்தல்களையும் தேவனுக்காகச் செய்யவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது; சாதாரண மனிதர்கள் செய்யும் பல செயல்களை நாம் செய்யமுடியாது. ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வின் வளர்ச்சிக்கு மற்றவர்களிலிருந்து மாறுபட்ட ஒரு வாழ்க்கை அவசியம். இவற்றையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம் பிரயாசங்கள் (முயற்சிகள்) என்று கூறுகின்றது.  அதாவது நாம் தேவனுக்கென்று செய்யும் இத்தகைய முயற்சிகள் எதுவும் வீணானவையல்ல என்று கூறுகின்றது.  

ஒருமுறை ஒரு சகோதரன் என்னிடம், "பிரதர், நான் எனது தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்வில் தேவனை அறிந்து சுமார் ஐந்து ஆண்டுகளாக தேவனுக்காக வைராக்கியமாக எவ்வளவோ காரியங்களைச் செய்திருக்கின்றேன்.  எனது வாழ்வில் பல்வேறு காரியங்களை தேவனுக்காகத் தியாகம் செய்திருக்கின்றேன்.  ஆனால் எனது வாழ்வில் ஆவிக்குரிய வளர்ச்சியுமில்லை, பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சியுமில்லை. எனது வயதையொத்த நண்பர்கள் பலரும் வாழ்க்கையில் எவ்வளவோ முன்னேறிவிட்டனர். நான் மட்டும் இப்படியே பழைய நிலையிலேயே இருகின்றேன்" என்று புலம்பினார். 

இந்த நண்பருக்கு அவரது தவறுகளைச் சுட்டிக்காட்டினேன். முதலில், "தேவனுக்காக நான் பல காரியங்களை நான் செய்திருக்கிறேன் என்று நீங்கள் கூறுவது தவறு; அது உங்கள் பெருமை மனநிலையைக் குறிக்கின்றது. உங்களுக்காக தேவன் எதுவும் செய்யவில்லையென்று ஏன் எண்ணுகிறீர்கள்? நீங்கள் நோயில்லாமல் இதுவரை உயிருடன் வாழ்வதே தேவன் உங்களுக்குக் காட்டிய கிருபையால்தான். மேலும், மற்றவர்களுடன் உங்கள் ஆவிக்குரிய வளர்ச்சியையும் பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சியையும் ஒப்பிட்டுப் பார்ப்பது உங்களது இரண்டாவது  தவறு. மற்றவர்களோடு உங்களை ஒப்பிட்டுப்பார்க்காமல் உங்களுக்காக தேவன் நியமித்திருக்கும் வழியில் வாழ்வைத் தொடருங்கள்" என்று ஆலோசனை கூறினேன். அவர் நான் கூறியவற்றை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டாரோ இல்லையோ தெரியவில்லை ஆனால், ஏற்றுக்கொண்டதுபோலக் காண்பித்துக்கொண்டார்.  

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், கர்த்தருக்குள் நாம் படும்  பிரயாசங்கள் வீணானவையாக இருக்காது என்று   அறிந்து,  உறுதிப்பட்டவர்களாயும், அசையாதவர்களாயும், கர்த்தருடைய கிரியையிலே எப்பொழுதும் பெருகுகிறவர்களாயும் இருப்பீர்களாக என்று நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றார்.  அசையாத விசுவாசமுள்ளவர்களாக உறுதியுடன் தேவனுக்கென்று வாழும் வாழ்வில் நாம் நிலைத்திருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம்.

தேவனுக்கென்று நாம் காண்பிக்கும் முயற்சிகள் ஒருபோதும் வீணாகாது.  ஒவ்வொருவரையும் குறித்துத் தேவனுக்கு ஒரு திட்டமுண்டு. அந்தத் திட்டப்படியே அவர் ஒவ்வொருவரையும் நடத்துகின்றார். அப்போஸ்தலரான் பவுல் பிலிப்பியருக்குக் கூறும் அறிவுரையுடன் இன்றைய தியானத்தை நிறைவு செய்வது சரியாக இருக்குமென்று எண்ணுகின்றேன்:-  

"நான் அடைந்தாயிற்று, அல்லது முற்றும் தேறினவனானேன் என்று எண்ணாமல், கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவினால் நான் எதற்காகப் பிடிக்கப்பட்டேனோ அதை நான் பிடித்துக்கொள்ளும்படி ஆசையாய்த் தொடருகிறேன். சகோதரரே, அதைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டேனென்று நான் எண்ணுகிறதில்லை; ஒன்று செய்கிறேன், பின்னானவைகளை மறந்து, முன்னானவைகளை நாடி, கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் தேவன் அழைத்த பரம அழைப்பின் பந்தயப்பொருளுக்காக இலக்கை நோக்கித் தொடருகிறேன்." ( பிலிப்பியர் 3 : 12 - 14 )

நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் தேர்ச்சியடைந்துள்ளோம் என்று கூறுவோமானால் இத்தகைய எண்ணமுடையவர்களாய் வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். ஆம், "ஆகையால், நம்மில் தேறினவர்கள் யாவரும் இந்தச் சிந்தையாயிருக்கக்கடவோம்; எந்தக் காரியத்திலாவது நீங்கள் வேறே சிந்தையாயிருந்தால், அதையும் தேவன் உங்களுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்துவார்." ( பிலிப்பியர் 3 : 15 )

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” — 1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV)

Generally, we humans tend to be impatient. We expect immediate results in everything we do. Even when planting a tree, we must wait for it to grow and bear fruit. Yet, many spiritually-minded people become discouraged when God does not respond immediately to their efforts.

The spiritual life is not a soft, cushioned path. In our walk with God, we must often endure hardships and corrections. There are many things that ordinary people may do which we, as spiritual seekers, cannot. A distinctive lifestyle is essential for spiritual growth. Today’s verse refers to these struggles as “labours.” That is, the Scripture assures us that such efforts made for the Lord are never in vain.

Once, a brother approached me and lamented,

“Brother, it’s been about five years since I truly came to know the Lord. I’ve done many things zealously for God. I’ve made several sacrifices for His sake. But I see no spiritual progress in my life, nor any economic growth. Many of my friends—who are the same age as I am—have advanced far ahead in life. But I remain stuck where I was.”

I pointed out a few things to correct his thinking.

“First of all,” I said, “saying ‘I’ve done many things for God’ reflects a prideful mindset. Why do you assume God has done nothing for you? Is it not His mercy that has preserved your life and health thus far? Second, comparing your spiritual and material progress with others is a mistake. Do not measure your journey by someone else’s path. Walk in the way God has specifically set for you.”

Whether he fully accepted my advice or not, I couldn’t tell—but he seemed to receive it well.

Dear ones, the apostle Paul teaches us in today’s verse that the labours we undertake for the Lord are not in vain. Knowing this, we must remain steadfast, unshakeable, and always abounding in His work. A life lived with unwavering faith and dedication to God must be our foundation.

Our sincere efforts for God will never be wasted. God has a unique plan for each of us and leads us accordingly. Let me close today’s meditation with Paul’s powerful words to the Philippians:

“Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 3:12–14 (KJV)

If we believe we’ve already succeeded in our spiritual journey, then our mindset should align with what follows:

“Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.” —  Philippians 3:15 (KJV)

"எனக்கு விரோதமாய் வருகிறவன் யார் என்று சொல்லி, உன் செல்வத்தை நம்பின சீர்கெட்ட குமாரத்தியே, நீ பள்ளத்தாக்குகளைப்பற்றிப் பெருமைபாராட்டுவானேன்? உன் பள்ளத்தாக்குக் கரைந்து போகிறது." ( எரேமியா 49 : 4 )

  

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் "சீரிகெட்ட குமாரத்தி", என்று ஒரு வார்தையைக் கூறுவது கவனிக்கத்தக்கது. வேதாகமத்தில் பொதுவாக, குமாரத்தி என்பது தேவனுக்கு பயந்து அவருக்கு ஏற்புடையவர்களாய் வாழும் மக்களைக் குறிக்கும் வார்த்தையாகும். அப்படி விசுவாசம் கொண்டு வாழும் மக்கள் ஆபிரகாமின் பிள்ளைகள்; தேவபிள்ளைகள். "ஆகையால் விசுவாசமார்க்கத்தார்கள் எவர்களோ அவர்களே ஆபிரகாமின் பிள்ளைகளென்று அறிவீர்களாக." ( கலாத்தியர் 3: 7) என்று கூறுகின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல். அதாவது கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவின்மேல் விசுவாசம் கொண்டு வாழும் நாமே சீயோன் குமாரத்திகளும் ஆவிக்குரிய இஸ்ரவேலருமாய் இருக்கின்றோம். 

எனவே, சீர்கெட்ட குமாரத்தி என்பது தேவனை அறிந்து பின்னர் உலக ஆசையால் சிக்கி அவரது அன்பைவிட்டுப்பிரிந்து கெட்டுப்போன மக்களைக் குறிக்கின்றது. அவர்கள் தேவன்மேல் பற்றுறுதிகொள்ள மறந்தவர்கள்.   ஏன் இந்த மக்கள் அப்படிக் கெட்டுப்போனார்கள்? அவர்கள் உலக செழுமையை நாடியதால் கெட்டுப்போனார்கள். இதனையே, "நீ பள்ளத்தாக்குகளைப்பற்றிப் பெருமை பாராட்டுவானேன்?" என்று இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. மட்டுமல்ல, தொடர்ந்து அடுத்த வசனத்தில் தேவன் கூறுகின்றார், "இதோ, உன் சுற்றுப்புறத்தார் எல்லாராலும் உன்மேல் திகிலை வரப்பண்ணுவேன் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்; நீங்கள் அவரவர் தம்தம் முன் இருக்கும் வழியே ஓடத் துரத்தப்படுவீர்கள்......" ( எரேமியா 49 : 5 )

பள்ளத்தாக்குகள் என்பது நீளமான, தாழ்வான வடிவமைப்புடன், மேல் நிலப்பரப்புகள் போன்ற மலைகள் அல்லது மேடுகளுக்கு நடுவில் அமைந்துள்ளவையாகும். இவை பெரும்பாலும் ஆறுகள் அல்லது நதிகளைக்  கொண்டிருக்கும்.  பள்ளத்தாக்குகள் மனித குடியிருப்புக்கும் விவசாயத்திற்கும் மிகவும் முக்கியமானவை, ஏனெனில் இவை தரிசு நிலம் மற்றும் நீர்வளங்களை வழங்குகின்றன. இவை செழிப்பான பகுதிகள். 

அதாவது, முதலில் தேவனுக்கேற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்துவிட்டுப்  பின்னர் செழிப்பான பள்ளத்தாக்குபோன்ற வாழ்வு அமைந்துவிட்டதால்  உன் செல்வத்தை நம்பின சீர்கெட்ட குமாரத்தியே, நீ உன் பள்ளத்தாக்குகளைப்பற்றி (செழிப்பைப்பற்றி) ஏன் பெருமை பாராட்டுகின்றாய்? என்று கேட்கின்றார் தேவன். மட்டுமல்ல, தொடர்ந்து தேவன் கூறுகின்றார், "உன் பள்ளத்தாக்குக் கரைந்து போகிறது." அதாவது இப்படி நீ என்னைவிட்டு அகன்று உன் செல்வத்தை மட்டுமே நம்பியதால் அது அழிந்துபோய்விடும் என்கின்றார் தேவன். 

வேதாகம பொது மொழிபெயர்ப்பில் இந்த வசனம் மிகத் தெளிவாக உள்ளது. "பற்றுறுதியற்ற மகளே, உன் பள்ளத்தாக்குகள்பற்றி பெருமையடிப்பானேன் ? உன் செல்வங்களில் நம்பிக்கை வைக்கிறாய்; 'எனக்கு எதிர் எவன் வருவான்' என்று சொல்லிக்கொள்கிறாய், உன்னைத் சுற்றியிருப்போர் அனைவரிடமிருந்தும் உனக்குத் திகில் வருவிப்பேன் என்கிறார் படைகளின் ஆண்டவராகிய தலைவர்." (எரேமியா 49 : 4, 5 )

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்து அவரது புதல்வர்களும் புதல்வியருமாக வாழும் நாம் செழுமை, பணம், போன்ற உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் வரும்போது பெருமையான மனநிலை கொள்ளாமல், தேவனை விட்டுபின்வாங்காமல் தாழ்மையான மனநிலையுடன் தேவன் தந்த ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தி வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். இல்லையானால், உன்னைத் சுற்றியிருப்போர் அனைவரிடமிருந்தும் உனக்குத் திகில் வருவிப்பேன் என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். மட்டுமல்ல, பெற்றுக்கொண்ட ஆசீர்வாதங்களையும் இல்லாமலாக்கிவிடுவேன் என்று நம்மை எச்சரிக்கின்றார். எனவே, எந்தநிலையிலும் பெருமைகொள்ளாமல் மனத் தாழ்மையுடன் தேவனுக்கு நன்றியுணர்வுடன் வாழ்வோம்.

"Wherefore gloriest thou in the valleys, thy flowing valley, O backsliding daughter? That trusted in her treasures, saying, Who shall come unto me?" — Jeremiah 49:4 (KJV)

Today’s meditation verse uses the phrase “O backsliding daughter,” which is noteworthy. In Scripture, the term daughter often symbolizes those who live in reverence to God and walk in a manner pleasing to Him. Those who live by faith are the children of Abraham, the children of God.

"Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham." — Galatians 3:7 (KJV)

That is, we who live in faith in Christ Jesus are the daughters of Zion and the spiritual Israelites.

Thus, the term backsliding daughter refers to those who once knew God but have now fallen away through worldly desires and departed from His love. These are people who have forgotten to depend on God. Why did they fall away? Because they pursued worldly prosperity. This is what the Lord questions in today’s verse: “Why gloriest thou in the valleys?”

Furthermore, in the next verse, the Lord warns:

"Behold, I will bring a fear upon thee, saith the Lord God of hosts, from all those that be about thee; and ye shall be driven out every man right forth; and none shall gather up him that wandereth." — Jeremiah 49:5 (KJV)

Valleys are low-lying, elongated regions nestled between higher elevations such as mountains or hills. They often contain rivers or streams and are considered fertile and rich in resources. For these reasons, valleys are essential for human habitation and agriculture.

In spiritual reflection, this verse points to someone who once lived a life pleasing to God, but after attaining a "valley" of prosperity and abundance, began trusting in wealth rather than in God. The Lord asks, “Why do you glory in your valleys?” and declares, “Thy flowing valley shall perish.”

The Tamil common Bible translation puts it even more clearly:

“Why do you boast about your valleys, your fertile valleys, O unfaithful daughter? You trust in your riches and say, ‘Who will come against me?’ But I will bring terror on you from all around,” says the Lord Almighty. (Jeremiah 49:4–5)

Beloved in Christ, as children of God who have come to know Christ and received His blessings, we must remain humble even when earthly blessings like wealth and prosperity come our way. We must not grow proud or turn away from God. Instead, we should give thanks for His blessings with a grateful and submissive heart. If not, the Lord warns, “I will bring terror upon you from those around you” and also warns that even the blessings you have received shall be taken away.

Let us, therefore, in every circumstance, live with humility and gratitude, never boasting, always acknowledging that all we have is by the grace of God.

🦋 Meditation verse - யூதா 1 : 21 / Jude 1:21

  "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1639                                           ஆதவன் 03.08.2025 ஞாயிறு     

"தேவனுடைய அன்பிலே உங்களைக் காத்துக்கொண்டு, நித்தியஜீவனுக்கேதுவாக நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினுடைய இரக்கத்தைப்பெறக் காத்திருங்கள்."( யூதா 1 : 21 )

காத்திருக்கும் ஆவிக்குரிய அனுபவம் குறித்து இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. ஆவிக்குரிய உன்னதமான ஒரு ஆலோசனையாக இன்றைய தியான வசனம், நாம் முதலில் தேவனுடைய அன்பைவிட்டு விலகிடாமல்  நம்மைத் தற்காத்துக்கொண்டு கிறிஸ்துவின் இரகத்தைப் பெறுவதற்குக் காத்திருக்கவேண்டும் என்று அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது. தேவனை ஆராதிப்பது என்பது வேறு,  அவரது அன்பில்  நம்மைக் காத்துக்கொள்வது என்பது வேறு. தேவனை யாரும் ஆராதிக்கலாம்; அவரைத் தனிப்பட்ட விதத்தில் அறியாதவர்களும் ஆராதிக்கலாம்.  ஆனால், அவரது அன்பில் நாம் நம்மில் நிலைத்திருந்தால் மட்டுமே நாம் மெய்யான கிறிஸ்தவர்கள். 

தேவனை ஆராதிப்பவர்கள் அனைவரும் அவரை உண்மையாக அன்பு செய்வதில்லை. காரணம், வேத வசனம் கூறுகின்றது, "நாம் தேவனுடைய கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்வதே அவரிடத்தில் அன்புகூருவதாம்" ( 1 யோவான்  5 : 3 ) தேவன் தன்னை ஒருவர் ஆராதிப்பதைவிட ஆராதிக்கும் மனிதனின் தனிப்பட்ட சுபாவ மாற்றத்தை அதிகம் விரும்புகின்றார்; அவரது வசனங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து பொறுமையாக காத்திருந்து வாழும் வாழ்வை விரும்புகின்றார். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில், துன்பங்களை மேற்கொண்டு தேவ வார்த்தைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து தேவனுடைய அன்பிலே நம்மைக்  காத்துக்கொண்டு, நித்தியஜீவனுக்கேதுவாக நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினுடைய இரக்கத்தைப்பெறக் காத்திருக்க வேண்டும் என்கின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான யூதா. கிறிஸ்துவின் இரகத்தைப் பெறுவதற்குக் காத்திருக்கவேண்டும் என்பது, நாம் நம்மில் தேவ அன்புள்ளவர்களாய் பொறுமையாய் சாட்சியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை  வாழ்ந்து வரவேண்டியதைக் குறிக்கின்றது. 

அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "ஆவியின் முதற்பலன்களைப் பெற்ற நாமுங்கூட நம்முடைய சரீர மீட்பாகிய புத்திரசுவிகாரம் வருகிறதற்குக் காத்திருந்து, நமக்குள்ளே தவிக்கிறோம்." ( ரோமர் 8 : 23 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். அதாவது, தேவனுடைய புதல்வரும் புதல்வியருமாக மாறிட நாம் காத்திருந்து, ஆர்வமுடன் தவித்து இருக்கவேண்டும் என்று கூறுகின்றார்.  அதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான யூதா இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில், "நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினுடைய இரக்கத்தைப்பெறக் காத்திருங்கள்" என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும் தனது சீடர்களிடம், "ஆகையால் நீங்கள் எருசலேமை விட்டுப் போகாமல் என்னிடத்தில் கேள்விப்பட்ட பிதாவின் வாக்குத்தத்தம் நிறைவேறக் காத்திருங்கள் என்று கட்டளையிட்டார்." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 1 : 5 ) எருசலேம் என்பது பரிசுத்த நகரம். உங்களது பரிசுத்தத்தை இழந்துவிடாமல் அதில் நிலைத்திருந்து காத்திருங்கள் என்றும் நாம் பொருள் கொள்ளலாம். 

"கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்களோ புதுப்பெலனடைந்து,  கழுகுகளைப்போலச் செட்டைகளை அடித்து எழும்புவார்கள்; அவர்கள் ஓடினாலும் இளைப்படையார்கள், நடந்தாலும் சோர்ந்துபோகார்கள்". (ஏசாயா 40:31) காத்திருந்து ஆவிக்குரிய பெலனை பெற்றுக்கொள்வோம். அப்போது நமது ஆவிக்குரிய ஓட்டம் சிறப்பானதாக, தேவனுக்கு ஏற்றதாக இருக்கும். சீடர்கள் காத்திருந்துதான் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரைப் பெற்றார்கள்; உலகம் எத்திசையிலும் சாட்சியாக விளங்கினார்கள்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1639

“Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” — Jude 1:21 (KJV)

Today's meditation verse speaks about the spiritual experience of waiting. As a divine counsel, it first urges us to guard ourselves, not straying away from the love of God, and then to wait for the mercy of Christ that leads us to eternal life.

There’s a difference between worshipping God and keeping oneself in His love. Anyone can worship God—even those who don’t know Him personally. But only those who abide in His love are true Christians.

Not everyone who worships God truly loves Him. The Scripture says,

“For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.” — 1 John 5:3 (KJV)

God desires not just our external worship, but our inward transformation. He longs for a life that submits patiently to His Word and lives in obedience.

In today’s verse, the apostle Jude exhorts believers to endure trials, obey the Word of God, and remain in His love—waiting to receive the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. To wait for Christ’s mercy means to live a life of patience, testimony, and divine love.

The apostle Paul also echoes this waiting: “And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.”— Romans 8:23 (KJV)

This speaks of a holy yearning—groaning inwardly with anticipation, waiting to be transformed into sons and daughters of God. This is the same longing Jude refers to in today’s verse: “Looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.”

Our Lord Jesus Christ also instructed His disciples:

“But wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.” — Acts 1:4 (KJV)

Jesus told them not to depart from Jerusalem—a holy city. We may also interpret it as a call to remain in holiness, not losing our sanctification.

The Word says: “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” — Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

Let us wait to be strengthened spiritually. Then our spiritual journey will be fruitful and pleasing unto God. It was through waiting that the disciples received the Holy Spirit, and thereafter they became witnesses to the ends of the earth.
