இயேசுவும் பரபாசும் / JESUS AND BARABBAS

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,106    💚 பிப்ரவரி 19, 2024 💚 திங்கள்கிழமை 💚  

"அப்பொழுது பிலாத்து ஜனங்களைப் பிரியப்படுத்த மனதுள்ளவனாய், பரபாசை அவர்களுக்கு விடுதலையாக்கி, இயேசுவையோ வாரினால் அடிப்பித்து, சிலுவையில் அறையும்படிக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தான்." ( மாற்கு 15 : 15 )

பொதுவாக அன்று முதல் இன்றுவரை அதிகாரத்தில் இருப்பவர்கள் தங்களது பதவியை எப்படியாவது தக்கவைத்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும் என்ற எண்ணமுள்ளவர்களாக இருக்கின்றார்களேத்  தவிர நீதி, நேர்மை எதனையும் பார்ப்பதில்லை. எப்படி நடந்துகொண்டால் மக்கள் பிரியப்படுவார்களோ அதன்படியே நடக்கின்றனர்.  

இயேசு கிறிஸ்து குற்றமற்றவர் என்பதைப் பிலாத்து உணர்ந்திருந்தான். அவரை விடுதலை செய்யவேண்டும் என்றுதான் விரும்பினான். ஆனால் அவனது பதவி ஆசை அவனைத் துணிந்து செயல்பட அனுமதிக்கவில்லை.  எனவே, "ஜனங்களைப் பிரியப்படுத்த மனதுள்ளவனாய், பரபாசை அவர்களுக்கு விடுதலையாக்கி, இயேசுவையோ வாரினால் அடிப்பித்து, சிலுவையில் அறையும்படிக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தான்." என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

இன்று கிறிஸ்தவர்களாகிய நாமும்கூட பலவேளைகளில் இப்படியே இருக்கின்றோம். மனைவியைத் திருப்திப்படுத்த, குழந்தைகளைத் திருப்திப்படுத்த, மேலதிகாரிகளைத் திருப்திப்படுத்த என்று பல்வேறு எண்ணங்களால் கிறிஸ்துவை புறம்பே தள்ளிவிடுகின்றோம். 

இந்த வசனம் இன்னுமொரு காரியத்தையும் நமக்கு விளக்குகின்றது. பிலாத்து விடுதலை செய்தது யாரை? பரபாஸ் எனும் அநீதிக்காரனை. "கலகம்பண்ணி அந்தக் கலகத்தில் கொலைசெய்து, அதற்காகக் காவல்பண்ணப்பட்டவர்களில் பரபாஸ் என்னப்பட்ட ஒருவன் இருந்தான்." ( மாற்கு 15 : 7 ) அதாவது அவன் கலவரம், கொலை, போன்ற அநீதி செயல்களில் ஈடுபட்டவன். கிறிஸ்துவுக்காக அவனை விடுதலை செய்கின்றான் பிலாத்து. நீதிமானுக்காக ஒரு அநீதிக்காரனை அவன் தேர்வுசெய்கின்றான்.

இன்றைய அரசியல்வாதிகளைப் பார்த்தாலும் இதுதான் நிலை. அவர்களுக்கு அமைதியான நீதிமான்கள் தேவையில்லை. அவர்களைக்கொண்டு அரசியல் செய்யமுடியாது; உலக அதிகாரத்தைத் தக்கவைக்க முடியாது.  அரசியல்வாதிகளுக்குத் தேவை அடிதடியில் ஈடுபடும்  துன்மார்க்கர்கள்தான். தேர்தல் நேரங்களில் அவர்கள்தான் அரசியல்வாதிகளுக்கு உதவுவார்கள். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இந்த உலகத்தின் ஆட்சிக்கு இத்தகைய மனிதர்கள்தான் தேவை. ஆனால் கிறிஸ்துவின் ஆட்சியில் நாம் பங்குபெறவேண்டுமானால் அவரைப்போன்ற தாழ்மை குணமுள்ளவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். அன்று விடுதலையான பரபாஸ் என்ன ஆனான் என்று தெரியாது. ஆனால் அன்று அநியாயமாய் குற்றம்ச்சாட்டப்பட்டு மரித்த கிறிஸ்துதான் ஜெய கிறிஸ்துவாக இன்றும் மக்களை வழிநடத்திக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றார். 

மக்களைப் பிரியப்படுபவர்களாக நாம் வாழவேண்டியதில்லை. என்ன வந்தாலும் நாம் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை மட்டுமே பிரியப்படுத்துபவர்களாக வாழ முயலவேண்டும். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே அதுதான் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் நம்மை வெற்றி சிறந்தவர்களாக வாழச்செய்யும்.

                                   JESUS AND BARABBAS 

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,106 💚 February 19, 2024 💚 Monday 💚

"And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified." (Mark 15:15)

Generally, people who have been in power from that day to this day are the ones who want to somehow retain their position but do not see anything about justice and fairness. They act according to the wishes of the people, even if it is an injustice, only desiring to keep up their position.

Pilate knew that Jesus Christ was innocent. He just wanted to free him. But his desire for office did not allow him to act boldly. Therefore, desiring to please the people, he let Barabbas go and handed Jesus to be crucified.

Even we Christians today are like this many times. To please the wife, to please the children, and to please the superiors, we push Christ away.

This verse also explains another thing to us. Who made Pilate free? The unrighteous Barabbas. "And there was one named Barabbas, which lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection." (Mark 15:7) That is, he was involved in riots, murders, etc. Pilate releases him for Christ. He chooses the unrighteous over the righteous.

This is the case with today's politicians. They don't need peaceful, righteous people. They cannot do politics with them; world power cannot be sustained if they select the righteous. Politicians want grassroots villains. They are the ones who help politicians during election times.

Yes, dear ones, such men are needed for the rule of this world. But if we want to participate in the reign of Christ, it is necessary to live as humble people like him. It is not known what happened to Barabas, who was freed that day. But Christ, who was unjustly accused and died on that day, is still leading the people as the victorious Christ.

We don't have to live as people-pleasers. No matter what happens, we should try to live as those who please only the Lord Jesus Christ. Yes, beloved, that is what makes us victorious in Christ.

கிருபையைப் போக்கடித்தல் / FORSAKING MERCY

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,105     💚 பிப்ரவரி 18, 2024 💚 ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை 💚  

"வீண்மாயைகளைப் பற்றிக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களை நான் வெறுத்து, கர்த்தரையே நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்." ( சங்கீதம் 31 : 6 )

இந்த உலகத்தில் மனிதர்கள் பல மாயமான காரியங்களை உண்மை என நம்பி வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கின்றார்கள். இத்தகைய மனிதர்களுக்கு நாம் உண்மையினை எடுத்துச் சொன்னாலும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளமாட்டார்கள். உதாரணமாக, பணம், பதவி, புகழ், அழகு என இவைகளை நம்பி வாழ்வது வீண் மாயையை பற்றிக்கொள்வதுதான். 

மேற்குறிப்பிட்ட நிரந்தரமற்றவை அனைத்தும் அழிந்துவிடும். இவைகளால் நமக்கு நிரந்தர உதவியோ நன்மையோ கிடைப்பதில்லை. குறிப்பிட்ட காலத்துக்கு இவை உதவுலாமேதவிர இவைகளை நம்பி வாழ்வது வீண். உதாரணமாக, நம்மிடம் எவ்வளவோ பணமிருந்தாலும் செல்வாக்கு இருந்தாலும் ஆள் பலமிருந்தாலும் ஒரு மிகக் கொடியநோய் நமக்கு வந்துவிட்டது விட்டது என்றால் இவை எதுவுமே நமக்குத் துணைவரப்போவதில்லை. அந்த வேளைகளில் நாம் கர்த்தரைத் தேடி ஓடுவோம். 

தாவீது ராஜாவாக இருந்தாலும் இந்த சத்தியத்தை நன்கு உணர்ந்திருந்தார். எனவேதான் தான் இப்படி மாயையைப் பற்றிகொள்ளவில்லை என்பதைவிட அப்படி வீண் மாயைகளைப் பற்றிக்கொள்பவர்களையும் வெறுத்து கர்த்தரையே நம்பியிருக்கிறேன் என்று கூறுகின்றார். மாயையான ராஜ பதவியோ, செல்வமோ அல்ல; மாறாக, கர்த்தரே எனது நம்பிக்கை என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

இந்தச் சத்தியத்தை யோனா தீர்க்கதரிசி நூலிலும் நாம் வாசிக்கலாம். யோனா கூறுகின்றார், "என் ஆத்துமா என்னில் தொய்ந்துபோகையில் கர்த்தரை நினைத்தேன்; அப்பொழுது என் விண்ணப்பம் உமது பரிசுத்த ஆலயத்திலே உம்மிடத்தில் வந்து சேர்ந்தது. பொய்யான மாயையைப் பற்றிக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்கள் தங்களுக்கு வரும் கிருபையைப் போக்கடிக்கிறார்கள்." ( யோனா 2 : 7, 8 )

ஆம், யோனா தீர்க்கதரிசி கூறுவதைப் பார்த்தால் அவர் ஏதோ ஒரு விதத்தில் இப்படி மாயையை நம்பி இருந்திருக்கின்றார் என்பது புரியும். அது என்ன? அவருக்குத் தான் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் கூறியது நடைபெறாமல்போனால் தனது புகழுக்கு இழுக்கு வந்துவிடும் எனும் ஒரு எண்ணம் இருந்தது. ஆம், அவர் அப்படி ஒரு மாய எண்ணத்தில் இருந்தார். இப்போது மீன் வயிற்றிலிருந்து வேண்டும்போது அதனை உணர்ந்து அறிக்கையிடுகின்றார். "என் ஆத்துமா என்னில் தொய்ந்துபோகையில் கர்த்தரை நினைத்தேன்" என்கின்றார். 

இதனை உணர்ந்தபின்னர், "பொய்யான மாயையைப் பற்றிக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்கள் தங்களுக்கு வரும் கிருபையைப் போக்கடிக்கிறார்கள்." எனும் உண்மை அவரால் கூறப்படுகின்றது.  கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் வாழ்கின்றோம் என்று கூறிக்கொள்ளும் நம்மையே நாம் நிதானித்துப் பார்த்து நம்மிடம் கிருபையைப் போக்கடிக்கும் செயல்பாடுகள் ஏதாவது இருக்குமானால் திருத்திக்கொள்வோம். 

உலகக் கவர்ச்சி நாட்டங்கள், வீண் பெருமைதரும் எண்ணங்கள், நமக்கு தேவன் தந்துள்ள கொடைகளின்மேல் பெருமை போன்ற எண்ணங்கள் தேவ கிருபையினைப் போக்கடித்துவிடும்.  எனவே கர்த்தரையே மேலான கொடையாகப் பற்றிக்கொள்வோம். "மேன்மைபாராட்டுகிறவன் கர்த்தரைக்குறித்தே மேன்மை பாராட்டக்கடவன்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 10 : 17 )

                FORSAKING MERCY

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,105 💚 February 18, 2024 💚 Sunday 💚

"I have hated them that regard lying vanities, but I trust in the LORD." (Psalms 31:6)

 In this world, people are living believing many mystical things to be true. Even if we tell such people the truth, they will not accept it. For example, having faith in money, position, fame, or beauty is clinging to vanity.

All the above impermanent things perish. These do not bring us any permanent help or benefit. It is futile to rely on them unless they help for a certain period of time. For example, no matter how much money, influence, or manpower we have, if a very deadly disease has come upon us, none of these will help us. In those times, we run to the Lord.

David was well aware of this truth, even as a king. That is why he says that he hates those who cling to such vain illusions and believes in God rather than not clinging to such illusions. Not illusory kingship or wealth; instead, he says that God is my hope.

We can also read this truth in the book of Jonah, the prophet. Jonah says, "When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the Lord, and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple; they that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy" (Jonah 2:7–8).

Yes, if we look at what the prophet Jonah says, it is clear that he was, in some way, believing in this illusion. What is that? He had a feeling that his fame would suffer if his prophecy did not come true. Yes, he had such a mystical idea. Now he feels and reports when he prays from the fish’s belly. He says, "I thought of the Lord when my soul fainted within me."

Realising this, he says, "Those who cling to false delusions lose the grace that comes to them." We who claim to live in Christ should look at ourselves and correct ourselves if we have any activities that destroy grace.

Worldly pursuits, thoughts of vain pride, and pride in the gifts God has given us will destroy God's grace. So let us cling to the Lord as the supreme gift. “But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.” (2 Corinthians 10:17)

பொறுமையும் விசுவாசமும் / PATIENCE AND FAITH

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,104       💚 பிப்ரவரி 17, 2024 💚 சனிக்கிழமை 💚  

"நீங்கள் சகிக்கிற சகல துன்பங்களிலும் உபத்திரவங்களிலும் பொறுமையையும் விசுவாசத்தையும் காண்பிக்கிறதினிமித்தம் உங்களைக்குறித்து நாங்கள் தேவனுடைய சபைகளில் மேன்மைபாராட்டுகிறோம்." ( 2 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 1 : 4 )

தெசலோனிக்கேயே சபையினைக்குறித்து அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் பாராட்டிக் கூறும் வார்த்தைகளே இன்றைய தியான வசனம். அதாவது அந்த சபை மக்கள் யூதர்களால் பல துன்பங்களை அனுபவித்தார்கள். ஆனால் அந்தத் துன்பங்களுக்கு மத்தியிலும் பொறுமையையும் விசுவாசத்தையும் காண்பித்தார்கள். எனவே அவர்களைக்குறித்து மேன்மைபாராட்டுவதாக அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் கூறுகின்றார். 

தெசலோனிக்கேயே சபையினர் என்ன துன்பங்களை அனுபவித்தார்கள் என்று பவுல் குறிப்பிடவில்லை. வெறுமனே துன்பங்கள் என்று கூறுகின்றார். என்ன துன்பம் என்று நாம் இங்கு ஆராயத்  தேவையில்லை. மாறாக, துன்பத்தை அவர்கள் பொறுமையோடும் விசுவாசத்தோடும் எதிர்கொண்டார்கள் என்பதே நாம் கருத்தில் கொள்ள வேண்டியது. 

தொடர்ந்து எழுதும்போது அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "உங்களை உபத்திரவப்படுத்துகிறவர்களுக்கு உபத்திரவத்தையும், உபத்திரவப்படுகிற உங்களுக்கு எங்களோடேகூட இளைப்பாறுதலையும் பிரதிபலனாகக்கொடுப்பது தேவனுக்கு நீதியாயிருக்கிறதே." ( 2 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 1 : 6 ) என்கின்றார். 

இன்று நமது வாழ்விலும் இதுபோல நமது விசுவாசத்தைக் கெடுக்கக்கூடிய துன்பங்கள் வரலாம். மனிதர்களாலோ, சூழ்நிலைகளாலோ நமக்குத் துன்பங்கள் ஏற்படலாம். ஆனால் நாம் அவற்றை தெசலோனிக்கேயே சபை மக்களைப்போல பொறுமையுடனும் விசுவாசத்தோடும் தாங்கிக்கொள்ளவேண்டும் எனும் கருத்தே நமக்கு அறிவிக்கப்படுகின்றது. 

அப்படி நாம் வாழும்போது உபத்திரவப்படுகின்ற நமக்கு தேவன் ஆறுதல் தருவார்; நம்மை உபத்திரவப்படுத்துபவர்களுக்கு உபத்திரவதைக் கொடுப்பார் என்கின்றார். பக்தனாகிய யோபுவின் வாழ்க்கையில் துன்பங்கள் வந்தன. நாம் யாருமே சந்திக்காத கொடிய துன்பங்கள். ஆனால் அவற்றை யோபு விசுவாசத்துடனும் பொறுமையோடும் சகித்தார். இறுதியில் தேவன் அவரை எப்படி உயர்த்தினார் என்பது நமக்குத் தெரியும். 

எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான யாக்கோபு தனது நிருபத்தில்,  "இதோ, பொறுமையாயிருக்கிறவர்களைப் பாக்கியவான்கள்  என்கிறோமே! யோபின் பொறுமையைக்குறித்துக் கேள்விப்பட்டிருக்கிறீர்கள்; கர்த்தருடைய செயலின் முடிவையும் கண்டிருக்கிறீர்கள்; கர்த்தர் மிகுந்த உருக்கமும் இரக்கமுமுள்ளவராயிருக்கிறாரே." ( யாக்கோபு 5 : 11 )

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, கர்த்தர் மிகுந்த உருக்கமும் இரக்கமும் உள்ளவராகையால் நமது துன்பங்களைக் கண்டுகொள்ளாமல் விட்டுவிடமாட்டார். அவரது செயலின் முடிவுகள் ஆச்சரியப்படத் தக்கதாக இருக்கும். எனவே நமது வாழ்வில் துன்பங்கள் சோதனைகள் பிறரால் வந்தாலும் சூழ்நிலைகளால் வந்தாலும் அவற்றைப் பொறுமையாய் விசுவாசித்தோடு எதிர்கொள்வோம்.  உபத்திரவப்படுத்துகிறவர்களுக்கு உபத்திரவத்தையும், உபத்திரவப்படுகிறவர்களுக்கு  இளைப்பாறுதலையும் பிரதிபலனாகக்கொடுப்பது தேவனுக்கு நீதியாயிருக்கிறது. 

அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுலைப்போல கிறிஸ்தவர்களுக்கு எதிராக  செயல்பட்ட பலர் இன்றும் மனம் திரும்பி தாங்கள் எதிர்த்த விசுவாசத்தையே பறைசாற்றுபவர்களாக மாறிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றார்கள். கிறிஸ்தவர்களாகிய நமது பொறுமையும் விசுவாசமும்தான் தேவன் செயல்புரிய  உதவுபவையாக இருக்கும். எனவே, பொறுமை, விசுவாசம் இவற்றைக் காத்துக்கொண்டு துன்பங்களை எதிர்கொள்வோம்.

                 PATIENCE AND FAITH 

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,104 💚 February 17, 2024 💚 Saturday 💚

"So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure." (2 Thessalonians 1:4)

Today's meditation verse is the words of the apostle Paul praising the church in Thessalonica. That is, the people of that congregation suffered many things because of the Jews. But they showed patience and faith in spite of those sufferings. Therefore, the apostle Paul says that he is proud of them.

Paul does not mention what the church suffered in Thessalonica. He says that it is simply suffering. We need not examine here what suffering is. Rather, what we should consider is that they faced adversity with patience and faith.

As the apostle Paul continued to write, "Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you," (2 Thessalonians 1:6)

Today in our lives too, there may be sufferings that can destroy our faith. Suffering can happen to us because of people or circumstances. But we are told that we should bear them with patience and faith as the church in Thessalonica.

When we live like that, God will comfort us who are afflicted; He says that he will give torment to those who torment us. In the life of the pious Job, suffering came. The worst suffering that none of us have ever faced. But Job endured them with faith and patience. We know how God raised him up in the end.

That's why the apostle James, in his epistle, said, "Behold, we count them happy, which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful and of tender mercy." (James 5:11)

Yes, dear ones, the Lord is very kind and compassionate and will not leave us unsatisfied with our sufferings. The results of his action will be surprising. As a result, let us face our sufferings in life with patience and faith, whether they are caused by others or circumstances. It is just for God to reward those who are troubled.

Like the apostle Paul, many who acted against Christians are turning back and professing the faith they opposed. As Christians, it is our patience and faith that will enable God to work. So, let's face adversity with patience and faith.

தேவனிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிற ஆவி / SPIRIT PROCEEDS FROM GOD

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,103     💚 பிப்ரவரி 16, 2024 💚வெள்ளிக்கிழமை 💚  

"நாங்களோ உலகத்தின் ஆவியைப் பெறாமல், தேவனால் எங்களுக்கு அருளப்பட்டவைகளை அறியும்படிக்கு தேவனிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிற ஆவியையே பெற்றோம்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 2 : 12 )

இந்த உலகத்துக்குரியவைகளை அறிவதற்கு உலக அறிவு போதும். பள்ளிகளிலோ கல்லூரிகளிலோ நமக்குப் போதிக்கும் ஆசிரியர்கள் உலக அறிவைப் பெற்று நமக்கு அவைகளைப் போதிக்கின்றார்கள். ஆனால் நாம் தேவனுக்குரியவைகளை அறியவேண்டுமானால் உலக அறிவு போதாது. தேவனை நாம் இறையியல் கல்லூரிகளில் படித்து அறியமுடியாது. வேதாகமத்தில் "தேவனை அறியும் அறிவு" எனும் வார்த்தைகள் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளதே தவிர "தேவனைப்பற்றி அறியும் அறிவு" என்று குறிப்பிடப்படவில்லை. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் தேவனைப்பற்றி இறையியல் படிப்பதாலும்,  வேதாகமத்தைப்  படிப்பதிலும், பிரசங்கங்களைக் கேட்பதிலும், தேவனைப்பற்றிய செய்தி கட்டுரைகளை வாசிப்பதிலும் அறிந்துகொள்ளலாம்.  ஆனால் தேவனை அறியவேண்டுமானால் அதற்குமேலாக நமக்குப் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் துணை வேண்டும். எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "நாங்களோ உலகத்தின் ஆவியைப் பெறாமல், தேவனால் எங்களுக்கு அருளப்பட்டவைகளை அறியும்படிக்கு தேவனிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிற ஆவியையே பெற்றோம்"  என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

மேலும், "அவைகளை நாங்கள் மனுஷஞானம் போதிக்கிற வார்த்தைகளாலே பேசாமல், பரிசுத்த ஆவி போதிக்கிற வார்த்தைகளாலே பேசி, ஆவிக்குரியவைகளை ஆவிக்குரியவைகளோடே சம்பந்தப்படுத்திக் காண்பிக்கிறோம்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 2 : 13 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். ஆவிக்குரியவைகளை ஆவிக்குரிய காரியங்களையோடு சம்பந்தப்படுத்திப் பார்க்கும் அறிவை பரிசுத்த ஆவி நமக்குத் தருகின்றார். 

இன்று பலர் வேதாகம வசனங்களுக்கு முழுக்க முழுக்க உலக அர்த்தம் கொண்டு போதிக்கின்றார்கள். ஆவியானவரின் அபிஷேகம் இல்லாததே இதற்குக் காரணம். உலக காரியங்களைப் பற்றி பேசவும் போதிக்கவும் ஏராளமான நூல்கள் உள்ளன. ஏராளமான அறிஞர்கள் உள்ளனர். வேதாகமம் நமது உலக வாழ்க்கைக்காக எழுதப்பட்ட ஒன்றல்ல. 

எனவே பலருக்கு வேதாகமத்தின் பல கருத்துக்களை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள முடிவதில்லை. ஆவிக்குரிய கண்கள் திறக்கப்படும்போதுதான் அவற்றின் பொருள் நமக்குப்  புரியம். ஆம், "ஜென்மசுபாவமான மனுஷனோ தேவனுடைய ஆவிக்குரியவைகளை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளான்; அவைகள் அவனுக்குப் பைத்தியமாகத் தோன்றும்; அவைகள் ஆவிக்கேற்றபிரகாரமாய் ஆராய்ந்து நிதானிக்கப்படுகிறவைகளானதால், அவைகளை அறியவுமாட்டான்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 2 : 14 )

சாதாரணமாக ஒருவர் வேதாகமத்தை வாசிக்கும்போது கிடைக்கும் அர்த்தத்தைவிட மீட்பு அனுபவம் அடைந்து பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் அபிஷேகத்தை பெற்றபின்னர் வேதாகமத்தை வாசிக்கும்போது அதே வசனத்திற்கு புதிதான அர்த்தம் கிடைப்பதை உணரலாம். காரணம், ஆவியானவர் அந்த வசனம் எழுதப்பட்ட சரியான நோக்கத்தை நமக்கு உணர்த்துவதுதான்.  

எனவேதான் நாம் தேவனையும் அவரது வார்த்தைகளையும் அறிந்துகொள்ள பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் அபிஷேகம் நமக்குத் தேவையாக இருக்கின்றது.  தேவனால் நமக்கு  அருளப்பட்டவைகளை அறியும்படிக்கு தேவனிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிற ஆவியை நாம் பெறவேண்டியது நமக்கு அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது. சகல சத்தியத்துக்குள்ளும் நம்மை நடத்தும் ஆவியானவர் நமக்குள் வரும்போது சகலமும் புதிதாகும். நமது உள்ளமும் புதிதாகி சத்தியத்தை அறிந்துகொள்ளும்.

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, சத்திய ஆவியாகிய பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் நம்மை தனது அபிஷேகத்தால் நிரப்பி சத்தியத்தை அறிய துணைபுரிய வேண்டுவோம்.

"Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God." (1 Corinthians 2: 12)

Worldly knowledge is enough to know the things of this world. The teachers who teach us in schools or colleges acquire worldly knowledge and teach it to us. But if we want to know the things of God, worldly knowledge is not enough. We cannot know God by studying at theological colleges. The words "knowing God" are used in the Bible, not "knowing about God.".

Yes, beloved, we can know about God by studying theology, reading the Bible, listening to sermons, and reading news articles about God. But if we want to know God, we need the help of the Holy Spirit. That is why the apostle Paul says, "we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God."

And, "Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual." (1 Corinthians 2:13) The Holy Spirit gives us the knowledge to relate spiritual things to spiritual things.

Many people today teach the scriptures with a worldly meaning. This is due to the absence of the anointing of the Spirit. There are many books that speak and teach about worldly affairs. There are many scholars. The Bible is not written for our worldly lives.

So many people cannot accept many points of the scriptures. Only when our spiritual eyes are opened do we understand their meaning. Yea, "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." (1 Corinthians 2:14)

After experiencing salvation and receiving the anointing of the Holy Spirit, one may feel that the same verse takes on a new meaning when reading the scriptures, beyond what one normally gets when reading the scriptures. The reason is that the Spirit makes us understand the exact purpose for which the verse was written.

That is why we need the anointing of the Holy Spirit to know God and His words. It is necessary for us to receive the Spirit that comes from God in order to know what God has given us. All things are new when the Spirit, who guides us into all truth, comes into us. Our souls will also be renewed and we will know the truth.

Therefore, dear ones, let us ask the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, to fill us with his anointing and help us to know the truth.

ஜாதி, மதம், இனம் பார்க்காமல் அன்பு செலுத்துவோம் / SHOW LOVE REGARDLESS OF CASTE, RELIGION OR RACE

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,102      💚 பிப்ரவரி 15, 2024 💚வியாழக்கிழமை 💚  

"நாம் தேவனிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்ததினால் அல்ல, அவர் நம்மிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்து, நம்முடைய பாவங்களை நிவிர்த்தி செய்கிற கிருபாதாரப் பலியாகத் தம்முடைய குமாரனை அனுப்பினதினாலே அன்பு உண்டாயிருக்கிறது." ( 1 யோவான்  4 : 10 )

நமது எகிப்து எனும் பழைய பாவ வாழ்க்கை நம்மை தேவனைவிட்டுப் பிரித்து மனசமாதானமின்றி அலையவைத்தது. அப்போது தேவனைப்பற்றியும் அவரது மகிமை, வல்லமை பற்றியும் நமக்கு எதுவும் தெரியாது; அவற்றை நாம் எண்ணிப் பார்ததுமில்லை. உலக ஆசை இச்சைகளில் மூழ்கி இந்த உலகமேகதி என்று வாழ்ந்துவந்தோம். ஆனால் நமைக்குறித்து தேவனுக்கு ஒரு திட்டமிருந்தது. அந்தத் திட்டம் அவர் நம்மேல் கொண்ட அன்பினால் ஏற்பட்டது.  

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் தேவனிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்ததினால் அல்ல, அவர் நம்மிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்து, நம்முடைய பாவங்களை நிவிர்த்தி செய்கிற கிருபாதாரபலியாகத் தம்முடைய குமாரனை அனுப்பினதினாலே அந்த அன்பு உண்டாயிருக்கிறது. அவர் நம்மேல் அன்புகூராமல் இருந்திருப்பாரேயானால் நாம் கிறிஸ்துவையும் அவரது இரட்சிப்பையும் பெற்றிருக்கமாட்டோம்.

இப்படி நமது பாவங்கள் கழுவப்பட்டதால் நாம் தேவனையும் அவரது குமாரனையும் அறிந்திருக்கின்றோம். எனவே அவரிடம் அன்புகூருகின்றோம். இப்படி நாம் அவரிடம் அன்புகூரக் காரணம் அவர் முந்தி நம்மள அன்புகூர்ந்து நமது பாவங்களை மன்னித்து நம்மை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டதால்தான். ஆம், "அவர் முந்தி நம்மிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்தபடியால் நாமும் அவரிடத்தில் அன்புகூருகிறோம்." ( 1 யோவான்  4 : 19 )

தேவனிடத்தில் அன்புகூருகின்றேன் என்று வாயினால் கூறுவது அவரை அன்பு செய்வதல்ல. மாலையும், நறுமண அகர் பத்திகளைக் கொழுத்தி வழிபடுவது அவரை அன்புகூர்வதல்ல; அதிக காணிக்கைக் கொடுப்பதோ ஜெபக்கூட்டங்களில் கலந்துகொள்வதோ, ஆராதனைகளில் கலந்துகொள்வதோ அவரை அன்புகூர்வதற்கு அடையாளமல்ல. எனவேதான் யோவான் கூறுகின்றார், "தேவனிடத்தில் அன்புகூருகிறேனென்று ஒருவன் சொல்லியும், தன் சகோதரனைப் பகைத்தால், அவன் பொய்யன்; தான் கண்ட சகோதரனிடத்தில் அன்புகூராமலிருக்கிறவன், தான் காணாத தேவனிடத்தில் எப்படி அன்புகூருவான்?" ( 1 யோவான்  4 : 20 )

அதாவது நம்மோடு கூடப்பிறந்த சகோதரர்களை அன்பு செய்வது; நம்மோடு  வாழும் சக மனிதர்களை ஜாதி, மதம், இனம் கடந்து அன்புசெய்வது. இப்படி அன்பு செய்யாவிட்டால் அவன் பொய்யன் என்று யோவான் கூறுகின்றார். காரணம் நாம் உண்மையாகவே நமது பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட்டு இரட்சிப்பு அனுபவத்தைப் பெற்றவர்களென்றால் நாம் எல்லோரையும் மதிப்போம், அன்புசெய்வோம். அப்படி அன்புகூராமலிருக்கிறவன், இன்னும் தனது பாவங்களுக்கு தேவனிடம் மன்னிப்பு பெறவில்லை என்று பொருள். அவன் எப்படி கண்ணால் காணாத தேவனிடத்தில் அன்புகூருவான்? என்று கேள்வியெழுப்புகின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான யோவான். 

நம்மோடு உடன்பிறந்தவர்கள் ஒருவேளை நம்மைப் புறக்கணிக்கலாம், நம்மைத் தவறாகப் புரிந்துகொண்டிருக்கலாம். எல்லா வேளையிலும் அவர்களிடம் சென்று நமது நிலைமையைப் புரியவைக்க முடியாது. ஆனால் நாம் அவர்களுக்காக ஜெபிக்கலாம்.  அப்படி ஜெபிப்பதும் நாம் அவர்களை அன்பு செய்கின்றோம் என்பதற்கு அடையாளமே. மறைந்திருக்கின்றவைகளை அறியும் தேவன் அவற்றை அறிவார்.  

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் தேவனிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்ததினால் அல்ல, அவர் நம்மிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்து, நம்முடைய பாவங்களை நிவிர்த்தி செய்கிற கிருபாதாரப் பலியாகத் தம்முடைய குமாரனை அனுப்பினதினாலே அன்பு உண்டாயிருக்கிறது. அதே பிரதிபலன் பாராத அன்பை நாம் ஜாதி, மதம், இனம் பார்க்காமல் அனைவர்க்கும் செலுத்துவோம்.

“Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins." ( 1 John  4 : 10 )

Our old sinful life in Egypt separated us from God and left us restless. Then we know nothing about God and His glory and power; we have not considered them. We were living in this world, drowning in the desires of the world. But God had a plan for us. That plan was because of His love for us.

Yes, beloved, not because we loved God, but because He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice for our sins. If He had not loved us, we would not have received Christ and His salvation.

Because our sins are washed away, we know God and His Son. So, we love him. The reason we love him like this is because he loved us before, forgave our sins, and accepted us. Yes, "We love him because he first loved us." (1 John 4:19)

Saying that you love God with your mouth is not loving Him. Worshipping him with garlands and fragrant incense sticks is not loving him; It is not a sign of loving Him to give more offerings or to attend prayer meetings or services. That is why John says, "If a man says, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?" (1 John 4:20)

That is to love our fellow-born; to love our fellow human beings regardless of caste, religion, and race. John says that if he does not love like this, he is a liar. Because if we truly have our sins cleansed and have experienced salvation, we will respect and love everyone. It means that one who does not love like that has not yet received forgiveness from God for his sins. How can he love the invisible God? The apostle John asks.

Our siblings may ignore us and misunderstand us. We cannot go to them all the time and explain our situation. But we can pray for them. Praying like that is a sign that we love them. God, who knows the things that are hidden, knows them.

Yes, beloved, not because we loved God, but because he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice for our sins. We should extend the same unconditional love to everyone, regardless of caste, religion, or race.

கனிகளால் மகிமைப்படுத்துவோம் / LET US GLORIFY WITH OUR FRUITS

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,101       💚 பிப்ரவரி 14, 2024 💚புதன்கிழமை 💚  

"தேவனுக்கு மகிமையும் துதியும் உண்டாகும்படி இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினால் வருகிற நீதியின் கனிகளால் நிறைந்தவர்களாகி, நீங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவின் நாளுக்கென்று துப்புரவானவர்களும் இடறலற்றவர்களுமாயிருக்கவும் வேண்டுதல் செய்கிறேன்." ( பிலிப்பியர் 1 : 10, 11 )

பிதாவாகிய தேவனை நாம் வாயினால் துதிப்பது மட்டும் அவருக்கு மகிமையைச் செலுத்துவதாகாது; மாறாக நமது வாழ்க்கை கனியுள்ள ஒன்றாக மாறுவதே நாம் அவருக்கு மகிமையையும் துதியையும் செலுத்துவதாகும்.  இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "தேவனுக்கு மகிமையும் துதியும் உண்டாகும்படி இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினால் வருகிற நீதியின் கனிகளால் நிறைந்தவர்களாகி" என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

மட்டுமல்ல, நாம் அப்படி கனியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போதே கிறிஸ்துவின் நாளுக்கு அதாவது அவரது இரண்டாம் வருகைக்கு ஏற்றவர்களாக மாற முடியும். இதனையே இன்றைய வசனத்தின் பிற்பகுதியில், "நீங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவின் நாளுக்கென்று துப்புரவானவர்களும் இடறலற்றவர்களுமாயிருக்கவும் வேண்டுதல் செய்கிறேன்." என்று குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

அதாவது நாம் கனியுள்ள ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது பிதாவாகிய தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்துகின்றோம், அதே வேளையில் கிறிஸ்துவின் வருகைக்குத் தகுதியுள்ளவர்கள் ஆகின்றோம். 

கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவோடு இணைந்த ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது மட்டுமே நாம் கனியுள்ளவர்களாக மாற முடியும். எனவேதான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறினார், "என்னில் நிலைத்திருங்கள், நானும் உங்களில் நிலைத்திருப்பேன்; கொடியானது திராட்சச்செடியில் நிலைத்திராவிட்டால் அது தானாய்க் கனிகொடுக்கமாட்டாததுபோல, நீங்களும் என்னில் நிலைத்திராவிட்டால், கனிகொடுக்கமாட்டீர்கள்." ( யோவான் 15 : 4 ) என்று. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, ஆவிக்குரிய கனிகள் நிறைந்த மனிதனே ஆவிக்குரிய மனிதன். ஆனால் இன்று பொதுவாக இது மறக்கப்பட்டு ஒரு சில குறிப்பிட்ட சபைகளுக்குச் செல்பவனே ஆவிக்குரிய மனிதன் என்று எண்ணும்  நிலைமை ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆவிக்குரிய மனிதனிடம் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர் சொல்லும் கனிகள் காணப்படவேண்டும்.  "ஆவியின் கனியோ, அன்பு, சந்தோஷம், சமாதானம், நீடியபொறுமை, தயவு, நற்குணம், விசுவாசம், சாந்தம், இச்சையடக்கம்; இப்படிப்பட்டவைகளுக்கு விரோதமான பிரமாணம் ஒன்றுமில்லை."( கலாத்தியர் 5 : 22, 23 )

இந்த ஆவிக்குரிய கனிகளை நாம் சுயமாகப் பெற முடியாது. கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவோடு நமது வாழ்க்கை ஒட்டவைக்கப்படும்போது மட்டுமே நாம் கனி கொடுப்பவர்களாக மாற முடியும். நமது சுபாவக் குணங்கள் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவோடு இணைக்கப்படும்போது மட்டுமே மாறி நாம் கனிகொடுப்பவர்களாக முடியும். 

பிலிப்பி சபை விசுவாசிகள் இப்படி கிறிஸ்துவின் நாளுக்கென்று துப்புரவானவர்களும் இடறலற்றவர்களுமாயிருக்கத் தான்  வேண்டுதல் செய்வதாக அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் கூறுகின்றார்.  

அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் வெறுமனே "அல்லேலூயா" என்று ஆர்ப்பரிப்பது மட்டும் பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்கு மகிமையல்ல என்பதை உணர்ந்தவர்களாக கிறிஸ்துவோடு இணைந்து கனியுள்ள ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழ நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம். அப்போது நம்மூலம் பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்கு மகிமையும் துதியும் உண்டாகும்.

"That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ. Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God." (Philippians 1: 10, 11)

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,101 💚 February 14, 2024 💚Wednesday 💚

"That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ. Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God." (Philippians 1: 10, 11)

Praising God, the Father with our mouths is not the real glorifying act. Instead, our lives should become fruitful as we give Him real glory and praise. This is what the apostle Paul says in today's meditation verse: "Be filled with the fruits of righteousness that come from Jesus Christ, so that God may be glorified and praised."

Not only that, but when we live such a fruitful life, we can become fit for the day of Christ's second coming. This is what the apostle Paul says: "I pray that you will be clean and blameless for the day of Christ."

That is, when we live a fruitful life, we glorify God the Father while qualifying ourselves for the coming of Christ.

We can become fruitful only when we live a life of union with Christ Jesus. That's why Jesus Christ said, "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abides in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me." (John 15:4)

Yes, beloved, a spiritual man is a man full of spiritual fruits. But today, this has generally been forgotten, and a spiritual man is thought to be a person who attends certain congregations. A spiritual man should have the fruits that the Apostle Paul says. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance; against such there is no law." (Galatians 5:22–23)

We cannot obtain these spiritual fruits by ourselves. We can become fruitful only when our lives are grafted to the Lord Jesus Christ. It is only when our character traits are joined to Jesus Christ that we can be transformed and become fruitful. The apostle Paul says that he is praying for the Philippian church believers to be clean and blameless for the day of Christ.

Beloved, let us commit ourselves to living a fruitful life with Christ as we realise that simply saying "Hallelujah" is not glory to God the Father. Then only through us will God the Father be glorified and praised.

ஜெபமா வாழ்க்கையா ? / PRAYER OR LIFE ?

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,100     💚 பிப்ரவரி 13, 2024 💚செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை 💚  

"துன்மார்க்கருடைய பலி கர்த்தருக்கு அருவருப்பானது; செம்மையானவர்களின் ஜெபமோ அவருக்குப் பிரியம்." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 15 : 8 )

மனிதர்கள் பொதுவாக தேவனையும் தங்களைப்போன்ற மனமுள்ள ஒருவராகவே எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். ஒரு அரசியல் தலைவனுக்குமுன் அவனை வாழ்த்திக் கூக்குரலிடுவது, மலர் மாலைகளை அணிவது, பால் அபிஷேகம் செய்வது இவை போன்ற செயல்கள் அவனை மகிழ்ச்சிப்படுத்தும். மனிதர்கள் தேவனையும் இப்படி மகிழும் அரசியல் தலைவனாகவே எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். ஆனால் தேவனோ உள்ளத்தை ஊடுருவிப் பார்க்கின்றவர். அவர் தூய்மையான ஒரு மனநிலையினை மனிதர்களிடம் எதிர்பார்க்கின்றார் என்பதனை பெரும்பாலும் மறந்துவிடுகின்றனர்.

மிகப் பிரமாண்டமாக பலி செலுத்துவதாலோ ஆலயங்களுக்கு விழா எடுப்பதாலோ தேவன் மகிழ்ச்சியடைந்துவிடமாட்டார்.  இத்தகைய மனிதர்களைப் பார்த்து அவர் பரிதாபப்படுவார்.  இன்றல்ல, கிறிஸ்து பிறப்பதற்கு ஏறக்குறைய 750 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னரே ஏசாயா தீர்க்கதரிசி மூலம் இதனை மக்களுக்குத் தேவன் தெளிவுபடுத்தினார். "உங்கள் பலிகளின் திரள் எனக்கு என்னத்துக்கு என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களின் தகனபலிகளும், கொழுத்த மிருகங்களின் நிணமும் எனக்கு அரோசிகமாயிருக்கிறது; காளைகள், ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகள், கடாக்களுடைய இரத்தத்தின்மேல் எனக்குப்பிரியமில்லை." ( ஏசாயா 1 : 11 )

துன்மார்க்கருடைய பலி தேவனுக்கு அருவருப்பானது என்று இன்றைய வசனம் சொல்கின்றது. கொலையும், கொள்ளையும், லஞ்சமும் வாங்கி பணத்தையும் இதர சொத்துக்களையும் சேர்த்துவிட்டு ஆலயங்களில் வந்து நின்று பலிசெலுத்துவது மனித கழிவை பரிமாறுவதுபோல அருவருப்பானது என்கின்றார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். ஆனால் பலரும் ஆலயங்களில் சென்று காணிக்கைச் செலுத்துவதிலும் வணங்குவதிலும்தான் ஆர்வம்  செலுத்துகின்றார்.  

நாம் மணிக்கணக்காக ஜெபிக்கலாம், உபவாசித்து ஜெபிக்கலாம், பல்வேறு காணிக்கைகளை நேர்ச்சையாக தேவனுக்குக் கொடுத்து ஜெபிக்கலாம் ஆனால் நமது வாழ்க்கை தகுதியில்லாத வாழ்க்கையாக  இருக்குமானால் தேவன் நமது ஜெபத்தைக் கேட்கமாட்டார். "நீங்கள் உங்கள் கைகளை விரித்தாலும், என் கண்களை உங்களைவிட்டு மறைக்கிறேன்; நீங்கள் மிகுதியாய் ஜெபம்பண்ணினாலும் கேளேன்; உங்கள் கைகள் இரத்தத்தினால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது." ( ஏசாயா 1 : 15 )

ஜெபக் குறைவுதான் உங்கள் ஆசீர்வாதத்துக்குக் காரணம், வேதம் வாசிக்காததுதான் உங்கள் இந்த கீழான நிலைமைக்குக் காரணம் என்று பல பிரசங்கங்களில் நீங்கள் கேட்டிருக்கலாம். ஆனால் அன்பானவர்களே, அதனைவிட முதலில் நமது வாழ்க்கைத் தூய்மையானதாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். நமது வாழ்க்கை தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமில்லாத வாழ்க்கையாக இருப்பதுதான் நமது ஆசீர்வாதக் குறைவுக்குக் காரணம். 

யார் வேண்டுமானாலும், எந்த வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்துகொண்டும் ஜெபிக்கலாம். ஆனால் எல்லா ஜெபத்தையும் தேவன் கேட்பதில்லை. மனம் வருந்தும் மன்னிப்பின் ஜெபத்தைக்கே தேவன் முன்னுரிமை கொடுப்பார். எனவே, முதலில் நமது பாவங்களை உணர்ந்து மனம்திரும்பும் ஜெபத்தை நாம் ஏறெடுத்து பாவ மன்னிப்பின் நிச்சயத்தைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளவேண்டும். அது இல்லாத ஜெபம் வெற்றுக்   கூச்சல் போன்றதே.  

முதலில் "உங்களைக் கழுவிச் சுத்திகரியுங்கள்; உங்கள் கிரியைகளின் பொல்லாப்பை என் கண்களுக்கு மறைவாக அகற்றிவிட்டு, தீமைசெய்தலை விட்டு ஓயுங்கள்;" ( ஏசாயா 1 : 16 ) என்கின்றார் பரிசுத்தரான கர்த்தர். செம்மையானவர்களின் ஜெபமோ அவருக்குப் பிரியம் என்று இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. நம்மைத் தேவனுக்குமுன் செம்மையானவர்களாக மாற்றுவோம். பலிகளும் காணிக்கைகளும் இரண்டாவது பட்சமே.

                   PRAYER OR LIFE ?

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,100 💚 February 13, 2024 💚Tuesday 💚

"The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination unto the Lord: but the prayer of the righteous is his delight." (Proverbs 15:8)

Humans generally think of God as having a mind like themselves. Shouting praise greetings before a political leader, wearing flower garlands, anointing the leader’ photos with milk will make him feel happy. Humans think of God as a similar political leader. God is the seer of what is. It is often forgotten that He expects from men a pure state of mind.

God will not be pleased with the grandiose sacrifices or feasts in the temples. He would feel pity for such people. Not today, God made this clear to the people through the prophet Isaiah about 750 years before the birth of Christ. 'To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of the goats." (Isaiah 1: 11)

Today's verse says that the sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to God. It is abominable, says the Lord God, to take murder, robbery, and bribery and gather money and other assets and then stand and offer sacrifices in temples. But many are interested only in visiting temples and paying offerings and worshiping.

We can pray for hours, we can fast and pray, we can offer various offerings to God and pray but if our life is unworthy God will not hear our prayer. "And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood." (Isaiah 1: 15)

You may have heard in many sermons that your lack of prayer is the reason for your blessing, and that not reading the scriptures is the reason for your unblessed life. But dear ones, first of all our lives must be pure. Our lack of blessings is because our lives are not pleasing to God.

Anyone can pray, no matter what life they are living. But God does not hear all prayers. God will give priority to the prayer of repentance and forgiveness. Therefore, first of all we should realize our sins and pray for repentance and get the certainty of forgiveness. Prayer without it is like empty shouting.

First "Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;" (Isaiah 1: 16) says the Holy Lord. Today's verse says that the prayer of the pure is pleasing to Him. Let us make ourselves pure before God. Sacrifices and offerings are secondary.
