 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1765                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 07.12.2025 ஞாயிறு         

"அவர் மனுஷகுமாரனாயிருக்கிறபடியால், நியாயத்தீர்ப்புச் செய்யும்படிக்கு அதிகாரத்தையும் அவருக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார்." ( யோவான் 5 : 27 )

இன்று கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் பலருக்கும்கூட கிறிஸ்துவுக்கும் பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்குமுள்ள உறவு, அதிகாரங்கள் இவைகளைப்பற்றிய தெளிவு இல்லாமல் இருக்கின்றது. சில கிறிஸ்தவ பிரிவுகள் (உதாரணமாக யெகோவா சாட்சிகள்) பிதாவாகிய தேவனே எல்லாம் என்றும் கிறிஸ்து அவரது சாட்சி மட்டுமே என்று  கூறுகின்றன.  இன்னும் சில கிறிஸ்தவ பிரிவுகள் "இயேசு மாத்திரம்" என்று கூறுகின்றன. இயேசு கிறிஸ்துதான் பிதா என்கின்றனர் இவர்கள். 

ஆனால் வேதத்தில் பல இடங்களில் பிதாவும் கிறிஸ்துவும் வெவ்வேறு அதிகாரமுள்ளவர்கள் என்று தெளிவாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. எல்லாவற்றுக்கும் மேலானவராக பிதாவாகிய தேவன் இருக்கின்றார். அவர் கிறிஸ்துவைவிடப் பெரியவர். "நான் போவேன் என்றும், திரும்பி உங்களிடத்தில் வருவேன் என்றும் நான் உங்களுடனே சொன்னதைக் கேட்டீர்களே. நீங்கள் என்னில் அன்புள்ளவர்களாயிருந்தால் பிதாவினிடத்திற்குப் போகிறேனென்று நான் சொன்னதைக்குறித்துச் சந்தோஷப்படுவீர்கள், ஏனெனில் என் பிதா  என்னிலும்  பெரியவராயிருக்கிறார்". (யோவான் 14:28) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறவில்லையா? 

அந்த சர்வ வல்லவரான பிதாவே இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை உயர்த்தியிருக்கிறார். "பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்கு மகிமையாக இயேசுகிறிஸ்து கர்த்தரென்று நாவுகள் யாவும் அறிக்கைபண்ணும்படிக்கும், எல்லா நாமத்திற்கும் மேலான நாமத்தை அவருக்குத் தந்தருளினார். (பிலிப்பியர் 2:11) ஆம், பிதாவே கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு எல்லா நாமத்துக்கும் மேலான நாமத்தை அளித்துள்ளார். 

மட்டுமல்ல, தேவ குமாரனாகிய இந்தக் கிறிஸ்து நம்மைப்போல இரத்தமும் சதையுமுள்ள மனிதனாக உலகினில் வாழ்ந்தார். நம்மைப்போல பாடுகளை அனுபவித்தார். அதாவது அவர் பாவம்தவிர எல்லாவற்றிலும் நம்மைப் போலானார். இப்படி  "அவர் மனுஷகுமாரனாயிருக்கிறபடியால், நியாயத்தீர்ப்புச் செய்யும்படிக்கு அதிகாரத்தையும் அவருக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார்." என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

"அன்றியும் பிதாவைக் கனம்பண்ணுகிறதுபோல எல்லாரும் குமாரனையும் கனம்பண்ணும்படிக்கு, பிதாவானவர் தாமே ஒருவருக்கும் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புச் செய்யாமல், நியாயத்தீர்ப்புச் செய்யும் அதிகாரம் முழுவதையும் குமாரனுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்திருக்கிறார்." ( யோவான் 5 : 22 )

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நம்மை நியாயம்தீர்க்கும் அதிகாரத்தை பிதாவாகிய தேவன் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு அளித்துள்ளார். அதாவது, இறுதிநாளில் நம்மை பிதாவாகிய தேவனல்ல, கிறிஸ்துவே நியாயம் தீர்ப்பார். 

"அன்றியும் மனுஷகுமாரன் தமது மகிமைபொருந்தினவராய்ச் சகல பரிசுத்த தூதரோடுங்கூட வரும்போது, தமது மகிமையுள்ள சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் வீற்றிருப்பார். அப்பொழுது, சகல ஜனங்களும் அவருக்கு முன்பாகச் சேர்க்கப்படுவார்கள். மேய்ப்பனானவன் செம்மறியாடுகளையும் வெள்ளாடுகளையும் வெவ்வேறாக பிரிக்கிறது போல அவர்களை அவர் பிரித்து, செம்மறியாடுகளைத் தமது வலதுபக்கத்திலும், வெள்ளாடுகளைத் தமது இடதுபக்கத்திலும் நிறுத்துவார்". (மத்தேயு 25:31-33) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறினார்.  

எனவேதான் நாம் கிறிஸ்துவின் போதனைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து வாழ  அழைக்கப்படுகின்றோம். ஆனால் பெரும்பாலான கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் இதனை உணராமல் கிறிஸ்துவின் வல்லமை வெறும் உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்காக மட்டுமே பயன்படும் என எண்ணி உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்காகவே ஜெபித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். அன்பானவர்களே, கிறிஸ்து அன்பானவர்தான்; இரக்கமுள்ளவர்தான், ஆனால் அவரே நீதியுள்ள நியாயாதிபதியாக வரவிருக்கிறவர். எனவே நாம் அவருக்குப் பயந்த ஒரு வாழ்வு வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

"நீங்கள் இன்னாருக்குப் பயப்படவேண்டுமென்று உங்களுக்குக் காண்பிக்கிறேன்: கொலைசெய்தபின்பு நரகத்திலே தள்ள வல்லமையுள்ளவருக்குப் பயப்படுங்கள்; ஆம், அவருக்கே பயப்படுங்கள் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்." (லூக்கா 12:5) என்கிறார் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து.

AATHAVAN — Sunday, 07.12.2025

“And He gave Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man.” — John 5:27

Today, even many Christians lack clarity about the relationship between Christ and God the Father, and about their distinct authorities. Some Christian groups (such as the Jehovah’s Witnesses) claim that only God the Father is supreme, and that Christ is merely His witness. On the other hand, some groups teach “Jesus only,” claiming that Jesus Christ Himself is the Father.

But the Bible clearly teaches in many places that the Father and Christ have distinct roles and authorities. God the Father is above all and even greater than Christ. Did not Jesus Himself say, “You heard that I said to you, ‘I am going away, and I am coming to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.” — John 14:28

It is this Almighty Father who exalted Jesus Christ. “And that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” — Philippians 2:11

Yes, it is the Father who gave Christ the Name that is above every name.

Moreover, this Christ—the Son of God—lived on earth as a human being with flesh and blood like us. He suffered as we do. In all things, except sin, He became like us. Therefore, today’s meditation verse says:

“And He gave Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man.” — John 5:27.

Jesus also said, “For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son, so that all will honour the Son just as they honour the Father.” — John 5:22–23a (NASB)

Beloved, God the Father has given the authority to judge us to the Lord Jesus Christ. This means that on the final day, it will not be God the Father but Christ Himself who will judge us.

Jesus also said, “But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. And all the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, just as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; and He will put the sheep on His right, but the goats on the left.” — Matthew 25:31–33

This is why we are called to live in obedience to Christ’s teachings. Sadly, many Christians do not realize this. They think Christ’s power is only for worldly blessings and therefore pray only for material prosperity. Beloved, Christ is indeed loving and compassionate—but He is also the righteous Judge who is coming soon. Therefore, it is essential that we live a life that fears Him.

The Lord Jesus Christ warns us: “But I will warn you whom to fear: fear the One who, after He has killed someone, has the power to throw that person into hell; yes, I tell you, fear Him!” — Luke 12:5.

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1764                                  🔆 ஆதவன் 06.12.2025 சனி        

"வேதவாக்கியங்களை ஆராய்ந்து பாருங்கள்; அவைகளால் உங்களுக்கு நித்தியஜீவன் உண்டென்று எண்ணுகிறீர்களே, என்னைக்குறித்துச் சாட்சிகொடுக்கிறவைகளும் அவைகளே." ( யோவான் 5 : 39 )

பெதஸ்தா குளத்தின் கரையில்  38 ஆண்டுகள் வியாதியால் படுத்திருந்த மனிதனை இயேசு கிறிஸ்து ஓய்வுநாளில் குணமாக்கியதால் யூதர்கள் அவரிடம் குற்றம்கண்டுபிடித்து வாக்குவாதம் செய்தனர். அவர்களோடு உரையாடியபோது இயேசு இன்றைய  தியான வசனத்தைக் கூறுகின்றார். 

இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவைக் குறித்து யூதர்களது நூல்களில் பல்வேறு தீர்க்கதரிசனங்கள் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளன. அவையே பழைய ஏற்பாட்டு நூல்களும் யூதர்களது பிற நூல்களும். பழைய ஏற்பாட்டில் இயேசுவைப் பற்றிய  300 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட தீர்க்கதரிசனங்களை மேற்கோள் காட்டுகிறார்கள் சில வேத அறிஞர்கள். வேறு சிலர்,  574 வசனங்கள் உள்ளன என்கின்றனர்.  இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவைக் குற்றப்படுத்தியது யூத அறிஞர்கள்தான். அவர்கள் வேதத்தை நன்கு அறிந்தவர்கள். எனவேதான் அவர்களிடம் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "வேதவாக்கியங்களை ஆராய்ந்து பாருங்கள்" என்று குறிப்பிடுகின்றார்.  

இன்று நாமும் பழைய ஏற்பாட்டு நூல்களை வாசிக்கும்போது இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவைக்குறித்து அவை கூறுவதைக் கண்டுகொள்ளமுடியும். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே எப்போதும் நாம் பழைய ஏற்பாட்டு வசனங்களை இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவுடனோ அவரது போதனைகளுடனோ ஒப்பிட்டுத் தெளிவடையவேண்டியது அவசியம். ஆனால் அது அறிவுபூர்வமான ஒப்பிடுதலாக இருக்கவேண்டும். 

ஒருமுறை ஒரு சகோதரன் என்னைத் தொலைபேசியில் அழைத்து, "பிரதர், எனக்கு ஒரு சந்தேகம். அதனைத் தெளிவுபடுத்த முடியுமா?" என்று கேட்டார்.  "சரி, கூறுங்கள்" என்றேன். அவர் கேட்ட சந்தேகம் எனக்கு அவரது முட்டாள்தனமான அறிவைப் புலப்படுத்தியது. 

அவர் என்னிடம், "பிரதர், லூக்கா நற்செய்தியில் சகேயு பற்றிய செய்தியின் இறுதியில் சகேயு மனம்திரும்பி இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவிடம், "ஆண்டவரே, என் ஆஸ்திகளில் பாதியை ஏழைகளுக்குக் கொடுக்கிறேன், நான் ஒருவனிடத்தில் எதையாகிலும் அநியாயமாய் வாங்கினதுண்டானால், நாலத்தனையாகத் திரும்பச் செலுத்துகிறேன் என்றான்." ( லுூக்கா 19 : 8 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது அப்படித்தானே? " என்றார். "ஆமாம், இதில் உங்களுக்கு என்ன சந்தேகம்?" என்று கேட்டேன். 

அவர் கேட்டார், "பிரதர், என்னிடம் ஒரு லட்சம் ரூபாய் தான் இருக்கிறது என்று வைத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள். நான் மனம் திரும்பிவிட்டேன். எனவே அதில் பாதியாகிய ரூ.50,000/- த்தை ஏழைகளுக்குக் கொடுத்துவிட்டேன் என்று வைத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள். இது தவிர நான் ஒருவரிடம் ரூ.20,000/- அநியாயமாக வாங்கியிருக்கிறேன் என்று வைத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள். நான் அவருக்கு நான்கு மடங்காகத் திரும்பிச் செலுத்தவேண்டும். அப்படியானால் நான் அவருக்கு ரூ.80,000/- கொடுக்கவேண்டும். ஆனால் இப்போது என்னிடம் ஏழைகளுக்குக்  கொடுத்துப்போக மீதியாக வெறும் ஐம்பதாயிரம் மட்டும்தானே இருக்கிறது; நான் எப்படி நான்குமடங்கு திரும்பிச் செலுத்த முடியும்? நான் எப்படி சகேயுவைபோல பாவ மன்னிப்பு பெறமுடியும்?" என்றார். 

அன்பானவர்களே, இது பொய்யான கற்பனையல்ல; நடந்த சம்பவம். என்னிடம் இந்தச் சந்தேகத்தைக் கேட்டச் சகோதரன் படிப்பறிவில்லாத மனிதரல்ல; ஒரு B.A  பட்டதாரி.    இப்படிப்பட்ட அறிவுடைய  மக்கள் இந்த இருபத்தியோராம் நூற்றாண்டிலேயே வாழ்கின்றார்களென்றால் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் காலத்தில் எத்தனை அதிகமாக இருந்திருப்பர்!!. இவர்கள் எப்படி வேத வசனங்களை ஆராய்ந்திருப்பார்கள் என்று எண்ணிப்பாருங்கள். எனவேதான் அவர்களால் கிறிஸ்துவை அடையாளம் காணமுடியவில்லை. 

இதுபோலவே இன்று பல போதகர்கள்; குருக்கள்  இருக்கின்றனர். தான் நித்திய ஜீவனை அளிக்கவே வந்ததாக வேத வசனங்கள் கூறுவதை ஆராய்ந்துபார்த்து உறுதிப்படுத்த இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் கூறினார். ஆனால் இன்று இறையியல் பயின்ற இவர்கள் வேத வசனங்களுக்கு உலக அர்த்தம்கொண்டு, இயேசு ஏழைகள் பணக்காரர் என்ற வேறுபாடுகள் இல்லாத  சமதர்ம உலகை உருவாக்க வந்ததாகப் போதித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர். இவர்கள் மேலே என்னிடம் சந்தேகம் கேட்டச்   சகோதரனைப்போன்ற அறிவுள்ளவர்கள். இவர்கள் ஒருபோதும் கிறிஸ்துவை வாழ்வில் அறிந்துகொள்ள முடியாது. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, வேதவாக்கியங்களை ஆவியானவரின் உதவியோடு ஆராய்ந்து பார்ப்போமானால் அவைகளால் நமக்கு  நித்தியஜீவன் உண்டென்று கண்டுகொள்வோம்;  அவை கிறிஸ்துவைக்குறித்து  சாட்சிகொடுக்கிறவை என்பதனையும் உணர்ந்துகொள்வோம். வேதாகமத்தை வாசிக்குமுன், சங்கீத ஆசிரியர் மன்றாடுவதுபோல, "உமது வேதத்திலுள்ள 

அதிசயங்களை நான் பார்க்கும்படிக்கு, என்  கண்களைத் திறந்தருளும்" (சங்கீதம் 119:18) என்று  வேண்டுதலோடு வாசிப்போம். அப்போது தேவன் நமக்கு வேதத்திலுள்ள அதிசயங்களைத் தெளிவாகப்  புரியவைப்பார்.

“You examine the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is those very Scriptures that testify about Me.” — John 5:39

Jesus Christ healed a man who had been suffering for thirty-eight years at the Pool of Bethesda— and He did this on the Sabbath. Because of this, the Jews found fault with Him and argued with Him. During that conversation, Jesus spoke today’s meditation verse.

Many prophecies concerning Jesus Christ are recorded in the Jewish Scriptures—the Old Testament and their other writings. Some Bible scholars say that the Old Testament contains over 300 prophecies about Jesus Christ; others claim there are 574 verses pointing to Him. Yet, ironically, the Jewish scholars who accused Jesus were themselves experts in the Scriptures! That is why Jesus said to them, “Examine the Scriptures…”

Even today, when we read the Old Testament, we can clearly see how it points to Jesus Christ. Dear beloved, it is essential that we compare the Old Testament Scriptures with Christ and His teachings—but such comparison must be done with right understanding.

Once, a brother phoned me and said, “Brother, I have a doubt. Can you clarify it?”

I said, “Yes, go ahead.”

The question he asked revealed the foolishness of his reasoning.

He said, “Brother, at the end of the story of Zacchaeus in Luke’s Gospel, it says that Zacchaeus repented and told Jesus, ‘Behold, Lord, half of my possessions I will give to the poor, and if I have extorted anything from anyone, I am giving back four times as much.’ (Luke 19:8). Isn’t that correct?”

I replied, “Yes, what is your doubt in that?”

He asked, “Brother, suppose I have only ₹1,00,000. After repentance, I give half—₹50,000—to the poor. Also suppose I have taken ₹20,000 unjustly from someone. According to Zacchaeus’s example, I must return four times that amount—₹80,000. But now I only have ₹50,000 left after helping the poor. How can I repay fourfold? And if I can’t, how will I receive forgiveness like Zacchaeus?”

Beloved, this is not a made-up story; it actually happened. The brother who asked me this doubt was not an uneducated man—he had a B.A. degree! If such reasoning exists in the twenty-first century, imagine how much more it would have existed in the days of Jesus Christ! How then could such people have truly examined the Scriptures? No wonder they failed to recognize the Messiah.

Even today there are many preachers and priests like this. Though Jesus clearly said in today’s verse that the Scriptures testify about Him—the One who came to give eternal life—they twist the Word with worldly interpretations and teach that Jesus came to establish an “equal economic society” with no difference between rich and poor. Such people possess the same kind of reasoning as the brother who asked me that question. They will never truly know Christ.

Yes, beloved, when we examine the Scriptures with the help of the Holy Spirit, we will discover that they indeed lead us to eternal life and testify of Christ. Before reading the Bible, let us pray like the psalmist:

“Open my eyes, that I may behold wonderful things from Your Law.” — Psalm 119:18.

When we pray thus, God will surely help us understand the wonders in His Word.

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1763                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 05.12.2025 வெள்ளி          

"அதற்கு நாத்தான்வேல்: நாசரேத்திலிருந்து யாதொரு நன்மை உண்டாகக்கூடுமா என்றான். அதற்குப் பிலிப்பு: வந்து பார் என்றான்." ( யோவான் 1 : 46 )

மனிதர்களாகிய நாம் பலவேளைகளில் கிறிஸ்துவை அறியாத பிற மக்களைப்பற்றியும், பிற ஊர்கள், அல்லது பிற இனத்து  மக்களைப்பற்றியும் தப்பான எண்ணம் கொண்டுள்ளோம். ஆனால் தேவ வார்த்தையால் எல்லோரும் பயனடையவேண்டுமானால் மனிதர்கள்,  இடங்களுக்கு எதிரான அல்லது மனிதர்களின் பிரிவுகளுக்கு எதிரான தப்பெண்ணங்களை நாம் மாற்றவேண்டியது அவசியம். யாரையும் எவரையும் அற்பமாக எண்ணாமல் எதனையும் ஆராய்ந்து பார்க்க வேண்டும், காரணம், சிலவேளைகளில் நாம் தேடாத இடத்தில் நன்மையைக் காண முடியும். 

வேத உண்மைகளைப் பற்றிய தவறான கருத்துக்களை மாற்றுவதற்குச்  சிறந்த வழி, அதைச் சோதிப்பதாகும். நாத்தான்வேலிடம் எந்த வஞ்சகமும் இல்லை. அவரிடம் பாசாங்குத்தனமில்லை. அவர் ஒரு போலித்தனமானவர் அல்ல; நேர்மையற்றவர் அல்ல; அவர் உண்மையிலேயே நேர்மையான, தெய்வீக மனிதர். ஆனால், கிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றி பிலிப்புக்  கூறியதை அவரால் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளமுடியவில்லை. 

ஆனால் மனிதர்களின் எண்ணம் உண்மையில் என்னவென்று கிறிஸ்துவுக்குத் தெரியும். உண்மையிலேயே  சில பலவீனமான,  மற்றும் பாவமான விஷயங்கள் எல்லாரிடமும் காணப்படுகின்றன,  எனவே, நாத்தான்வேலை இயேசு கோபிக்கவில்லை. நாத்தான்வேல் அத்தி மரத்தின் கீழ் இருந்தபோது என்ன நடந்தது என்பதை இயேசு கண்டார். ஒருவேளை அவர் அப்போது தீவிரமான ஜெபத்தில் இருந்திருக்கலாம், எனவேதான், "பிலிப்பு உன்னை அழைக்கிறதற்கு முன்னே, நீ அத்திமரத்தின் கீழிருக்கும்போது  உன்னைக் கண்டேன் என்றார்". (யோவான் 1:48)

அந்தக்காலத்தில் நாசரேத்தின் தன்மை அவ்வளவு ஏற்புடையதாக இல்லை. அற்பமான ஒரு ஊராக அது இருந்தது. எனவே, மேசியா அத்தகைய ஒரு ஊரிலிருந்த்து வருவது சாத்தியமா என்று நத்தனியேல் கேட்டார். இன்றும் இதுபோலவே கிறிஸ்துவை அறியாத பிற மதத்தினர் பலரும் தங்கள் மனதை மதத்திற்கு எதிரான தப்பெண்ணத்தால் நிரப்பி, பின்னர் பரிசோதனை இல்லாமல் உடனடியாக முடிவெடுக்கின்றார்கள். பல மனிதர்களும் காரியத்தை  ஆராய மறுக்கிறார்கள்;  ஏனென்றால் அது உண்மையாக இருக்க முடியாது என்று ஏற்கெனவே தங்கள் உள்ளத்தில்  அவர்கள் நிர்ணயித்துள்ளனர். 

ஆம், ஒருவருக்கு இதனை விளக்கிச் சொல்லி புரியவைப்பதைவிட அவரையே வந்து பார்த்து முடிவெடுக்கச் சொல்வதே சிறந்தது. இதனையே பிலிப்பு நாத்தான்வேலிடம் "வந்து பார்" என்று கூறினார்.  

இன்று பல ஊழியர்கள் பிரச்சனைகளில் சிக்கித் தவிக்கக் காரணம் வலுக்கட்டாயமாக மக்களிடம் கிறிஸ்துவைத் திணிக்க முயல்வதால்தான். "இந்தக் கிறிஸ்தவ போதனையில் எங்கள் மதத்தில் கூறப்படாத என்ன பெரிய சத்தியம் இருக்கப்போகிறது?" என்று கிறிஸ்துவை அறியாத மக்கள் கேட்கலாம்; நினைக்கலாம். அவர்களுக்கு நாம் பெரிய விளக்கமோ, போதனைகளோ கொடுக்கத் தேவையில்லை. நம்மிடம் கேள்வியும் விளக்கமும் கேட்பவர்களிடம் பிலிப்பு கூறியதைப்போல, "வந்து பார்" என்று கூறுவோம்.  

அதாவது, அவர்கள் வந்து நம்மிடம் கிறிஸ்துவைக் காணும்படியான ஒரு வாழ்வு வாழ்வோம். ஆம், அப்போது அவர்கள் நம்மில் இருக்கும் கிறிஸ்துவைப் பார்த்து தங்கள் சொந்த அனுபவத்தினால் திருப்தி அடைவார்கள். கிறிஸ்துவை அறிவிக்க பக்கம் பக்கமாய் எழுதவேண்டியதில்லை. நாமே நிரூபங்களாய் இருக்கிறோம். நம்மை வாசித்தே மற்றவர்கள் கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்துகொள்ள முடியும். எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "ஏனெனில் நீங்கள் எங்கள் ஊழியத்தினால் உண்டாகிய கிறிஸ்துவின் நிருபமாயிருக்கிறீர்களென்று வெளியரங்கமாயிருக்கிறது; அது மையினாலல்ல, ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனுடைய ஆவியினாலும்; கற்பலகைகளிலல்ல, இருதயங்களாகிய சதையான பலகைகளிலேயும் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 3 : 3 ) என்று கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்த மக்களை நிருபங்கள் என்கின்றார். 

நிரூபங்களாக வாழ்வோம். அவர்கள் வந்து பார்த்து நம்மில் கிறிஸ்துவைக்  கண்டுகொள்ளட்டும்.

“Nathanael said to him, ‘Can anything good come out of Nazareth?’ Philip said to him, ‘Come and see.’” — John 1:46

As human beings, we often carry wrong assumptions about people who do not know Christ, or about other towns, regions, or communities. Yet, if the Word of God is to benefit everyone, we must remove the prejudices we hold against people, places, or groups. We should never belittle anyone; instead, we must be willing to examine everything carefully—for sometimes, goodness is found where we least expect it.

The best way to correct wrong beliefs about biblical truths is to test and see for ourselves. Nathanael was without deceit; he had no hypocrisy in him. He was not a pretender or a dishonest man—he was genuinely upright and sincere. Yet, he found it difficult to accept what Philip said about Christ.

But Christ knew exactly what was in Nathanael’s heart. All people have certain weaknesses and sinful tendencies, and Jesus understood this. Therefore, He did not become angry with Nathanael. Instead, Jesus revealed that He had seen Nathanael under the fig tree—perhaps deeply engaged in prayer—before Philip ever approached him:

“Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” — John 1:48

In those days, Nazareth did not have a good reputation; it was considered insignificant. This is why Nathanael questioned whether the Messiah could come from such a place. Even today, many who do not know Christ fill their minds with false ideas about Christianity and make quick decisions without examination. They refuse to explore the truth further, because they have already concluded in their hearts that it cannot be true.

Yes—rather than explaining endlessly or arguing, the best approach is to invite them to experience Christ for themselves. This is precisely what Philip told Nathanael: “Come and see.”

Today, many servants of God struggle because they try to force Christ upon people. Those who do not know Jesus may think, “What great truth could Christianity offer that our religion has not already said?” To such people, we do not need to give long explanations or intellectual arguments. Let us simply say what Philip said: “Come and see.”

In other words, let our lives reveal Christ to them. When they come and observe us, they must see Christ in us. Their hearts will be convinced through their own experience of encountering Christ in our lives. We need not write pages of explanations. We ourselves are the letters. Others can know Christ simply by reading our lives.

That is why the Apostle Paul said: “You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all people; being manifested that you are a letter of Christ… written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.” — 2 Corinthians 3:2–3

Let us live as Christ’s letters—so that when people “come and see,” they may see Christ in us.

🦋 Meditation verse - லுூக்கா 2: 34 / Luke 2:34

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1762                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 04.12.2025 வியாழன்         

"இதோ, அநேகருடைய இருதய சிந்தனைகள் வெளிப்படத்தக்கதாக, இஸ்ரவேலில் அநேகர் விழுகிறதற்கும் எழுந்திருக்கிறதற்கும், விரோதமாகப் பேசப்படும் அடையாளமாவதற்கும், இவர் நியமிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்." ( லுூக்கா 2: 34)

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதுபோல, இன்றும் அநேகர் விழுகிறதற்கும் எழுந்திருக்கிறதற்கும், விரோதமாகப் பேசப்படும் அடையாளமாக இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இருக்கின்றார்; அவர்  பலருக்கும் இடறலாகவே இருக்கின்றார். காரணம் அவரது போதனைகள். இவற்றைக் கடைபிடிப்பது கூடாத காரியம் என்று கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று தங்களைக் கூறிக்கொள்ளும் பலர்கூட  இன்றும் சொல்லக்கேட்கலாம்.  மேலும், இவர் உண்மையிலேயே தேவனா? இல்லை சாதாரண மனிதனா? மகானா? என்று பலர் இடறலடைகின்றனர். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம், சிமியோன் எனும் நீதிமான் கூறிய வார்த்தைகளாகும். தேவனுடைய கிறிஸ்துவை காணுமுன் நீ மரணமடைய மாட்டாய் என்று அவருக்கு ஏற்கெனவே பரிசுத்த ஆவியினால் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது. நியாயப்பிராமண கட்டளையை நிறைவேற்றிட இயேசுவை ஆலயத்தில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்க அவரது தாய் மரியாளும் தந்தை யோசேப்பும்  அவரை ஆலயத்துக்குக் கொண்டுசென்றபோது பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் அறிவிப்பின்படியே சிமியோன் ஆலயத்துக்கு வந்திருந்தார். 

இந்தச் சிமியோனைப்பற்றி வேதாகமத்தில், "அவன் நீதியும் தேவபக்தியும் உள்ளவனாயும், இஸ்ரவேலின் ஆறுதல்வரக் காத்திருக்கிறவனாயும் இருந்தான்; அவன்மேல் பரிசுத்தஆவி இருந்தார்." ( லுூக்கா 2: 25) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்தச் சிமியோன், "அநேகருடைய இருதய சிந்தனைகள் வெளிப்படத்தக்கதாக, இஸ்ரவேலில் அநேகர் விழுகிறதற்கும் எழுந்திருக்கிறதற்கும், விரோதமாகப் பேசப்படும் அடையாளமாவதற்கும், இவர் நியமிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்" என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவைக் குறித்துத் தீர்க்கதரிசனமாகக் கூறினார். 

ஆம், ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துத்  தனது ஊழியத்தை ஆரம்பித்தபோது இது நிறைவேறத் துவங்கியது. பலர் அவரைக்குறித்து இடறலடைந்தனர். பலருடைய இருதய சிந்தையை அவர் வெளிப்படுத்தியதால் அவர்கள் இருதயம் குத்தப்பட்டது. அவர்கள், "இவன் தச்சன் அல்லவா? மரியாளுடைய குமாரன் அல்லவா? யாக்கோபு, யோசே, யூதா, சீமோன் என்பவர்களுக்கு சகோதரன் அல்லவா? இவன் சகோதரிகளும் இங்கே நம்மிடத்தில் இருக்கிறார்கள் அல்லவா? என்று சொல்லி, அவரைக்குறித்து இடறலடைந்தார்கள்." ( மாற்கு 6: 3) 

இன்றும் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவைக் குறித்த இந்த இடறல் இருந்துகொண்டுதான் இருக்கின்றது. அவரை சாதாரண உலக மகான்களில் ஒருவராகவே பலர் எண்ணி இடறலடைகின்றனர். ஆனால் அன்று சிமியோன் அவரை அடையாளம் கண்டுகொண்டார். காரணம், அவர்  நீதியும் தேவ பக்தியுள்ளவருமாய் இருந்தார்; அவர்மேல் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் இருந்தார் என்றும் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதாவது, இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை தேவனுடைய குமாரன் என்று நாம் விசுவாசித்து அறிக்கையிட பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரது வெளிப்பாடு நமக்குத் தேவையாக இருக்கின்றது. 

இதனையே, "ஆதலால், தேவனுடைய ஆவியினாலே பேசுகிற எவனும் இயேசுவைச் சபிக்கப்பட்டவனென்று சொல்லமாட்டானென்றும், பரிசுத்த ஆவியினாலேயன்றி இயேசுவைக் கர்த்தரென்று ஒருவனும் சொல்லக்கூடாதென்றும், உங்களுக்குத் தெரிவிக்கிறேன்." (1 கொரிந்தியர் 12: 3) என்கின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல். எல்லோரும் கூறுவதாலும், நாம் சிறு பிள்ளைகளாய் இருக்கும்போதே போதிக்கப்பட்டதாலும் நாம் அவரை தேவனென்று கூறிக்கொண்டிருக்காமல் மெய்யாகவே அவரை அறிந்து அவரே நமது பாவங்களைக் கழுவி இரட்சிக்கவல்ல தேவாதிதேவன் என்று உணர்ந்து ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  

ஆம், கிறிஸ்துவைக் குறித்த பூரண நம்பிக்கையில்லாமல் சந்தேகத்தோடும் இடறலோடும் வாழாமல் அவரே மீட்பர் என்று உறுதியுடன் அறிக்கையிட்டு வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். அதற்கு  ஆவியானவரின் துணை நமக்குத் தேவையாக இருக்கின்றது. ஆவியானவரே  நமக்குக்  கிறிஸ்துவைக்குறித்தத் தெளிவைத் தருவார்.  அவரை அறிந்துகொண்டபின்னர் கிறிஸ்துவை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாத பிறருக்கும் ஆவியானவர் இந்த வெளிப்பாடைக் கொடுக்கும்படி ஜெபிப்போம். பரிசுத்த ஆவியினாலேயன்றி இயேசுவைக் கர்த்தரென்று ஒருவனும் சொல்லமுடியாது.

📖 Scripture Meditation No. 1762
🔆 Aathavan – Thursday, 04.12.2025

“Behold, this Child is appointed for the fall and rise of many in Israel, and as a sign to be opposed— and a sword will pierce your own soul—to the end that thoughts from many hearts may be revealed.” — Luke 2:34

As today’s meditation verse declares, even today Jesus Christ continues to be “a sign to be opposed” and the cause for the falling and rising of many. He remains a stumbling block for multitudes—primarily because of His teachings. Even those who call themselves Christians often say that obeying His commandments is too difficult or unnecessary. Many still stumble, asking: Is He truly God? Or just a man? Or a great teacher?

The verse for today records the prophetic words spoken by Simeon, a righteous man. He had already been informed by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. When Mary and Joseph brought the infant Jesus to the temple to fulfil the Law of Moses, the Holy Spirit led Simeon into the temple.

Concerning Simeon, Scripture says, “And this man was righteous and devout, looking for the consolation of Israel; and the Holy Spirit was upon him.” — Luke 2:25

This same Simeon prophesied about Jesus Christ, saying that He was appointed for the rising, falling, and revealing of many hearts in Israel.

When the Lord Jesus Christ began His earthly ministry, this prophecy began to be fulfilled. Many stumbled because of Him. He revealed the thoughts of many hearts, and their hearts were pierced. They questioned Him saying,

“Is this not the carpenter, the son of Mary… and are His sisters not here with us?” — Mark 6:3. Thus, they took offense at Him.

This stumbling over Christ continues even today. Many consider Him only as one among the great men of the world—nothing more. But Simeon recognized Him correctly because Scripture states that he was righteous, devout, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. This shows us that to confess Jesus Christ as the Son of God, we too need the revelation of the Holy Spirit.

The apostle Paul affirms this truth: “Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, ‘Jesus is accursed’; and no one can say, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ except by the Holy Spirit.” — 1 Corinthians 12:3.

Therefore, we must not merely repeat what we have been taught since childhood or what everyone around us professes. Instead, we must truly know Him, accept Him, and realize that He alone is the Almighty God who washes away our sins and saves us.

Yes, we must live without doubt or stumbling—confessing with full assurance that Jesus alone is our Redeemer. For this, we need the help of the Holy Spirit. He alone gives us clarity about Christ. After knowing Him, let us also pray that the Holy Spirit grants this same revelation to others who still reject Him. For no one can confess Jesus as Lord except by the Holy Spirit.

🦋 Meditation verse - எபிரெயர் 2 : 14 / Hebrews 2:14

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1761                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 03.12.2025 புதன்        

"பிள்ளைகள் மாம்சத்தையும் இரத்தத்தையும் உடையவர்களாயிருக்க, அவரும் அவர்களைப்போல மாம்சத்தையும் இரத்தத்தையும் உடையவரானார்." ( எபிரெயர் 2 : 14 )

டிசம்பர் மாதம் வந்துவிட்டாலே நம் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் பிறப்பின் விழாவைக் கொண்டாடிட உலகம் தயாராகிவிடுகின்றது. "தேவன் ஆவியாயிருக்கிறார்".  (யோவான் 4:24) என்று வேதாகமத்தில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. அந்த ஆவியான தேவன் நம்மைப்போல மனித உடலெடுத்து இரத்தமும் சதையுமானவராக மாறினார். 

இன்று மனிதர்கள் அவரது மனித தோற்றத்தை மட்டுமே மனதில் கொண்டு அவரை இரண்டாயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்குமுன் உலகத்தில் பிறந்த சாதாரண மனிதன் என்று எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். உலகில் பிறந்த பல்வேறு ஞானிகளைப்போல கிறிஸ்துவும் ஒரு ஞானி என்று பலரும் கருதுகின்றனர். அவரைக் கடவுளாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாத மக்களும் அவரை ஒரு ஞானி என்று ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு கூறுகின்றனர். ஆனால், இவரே உலகத்தைப் படைத்தத்  தேவாதிதேவன் என்று பலரும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதில்லை. கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் பலரும்கூட இயேசு கிறிஸ்துதான் உலகத்தைப் படைத்தார் எனும் சத்தியம் தெரியாமல் இருக்கின்றனர். எனவேதான் அவரை சர்வ வல்லவராக அவர்களால் பார்த்து விசுவாசிக்க முடியவில்லை. 

பல்வேறு தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் மூலம் மனிதர்களிடம் பேசிய தேவன் "இந்தக் கடைசி நாட்களில் குமாரன் மூலமாய் நமக்குத் திருவுளம்பற்றினார்; இவரைச் சர்வத்துக்கும் சுதந்தரவாளியாக நியமித்தார், இவரைக்கொண்டு உலகங்களையும் உண்டாக்கினார்." ( எபிரெயர் 1 : 2 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "இயேசுகிறிஸ்து என்னும் ஒரே கர்த்தரும் நமக்குண்டு; அவர்மூலமாய்ச் சகலமும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது, அவர் மூலமாய் நாமும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறோம்" (1 கொரிந்தியர் 8:6) என்று கூறுகின்றார். சரி, இப்படி சர்வ வல்லவராக கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து ஏன் இரத்தமும் சதையுமான மனிதனாக மாறினார்? அதனையே இன்றைய தியானத்துக்குரிய வசனத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து வாசிக்கும்போது நாம் அறியலாம். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதனைத் தொடர்ந்து, "மரணத்துக்கு அதிகாரியாகிய பிசாசானவனைத் தமது மரணத்தினாலே அழிக்கும்படிக்கும், ஜீவகாலமெல்லாம் மரணபயத்தினாலே அடிமைத்தனத்திற்கு உள்ளானவர்கள் யாவரையும் விடுதலைபண்ணும்படிக்கும் அப்படியானார்."( எபிரெயர் 2 : 14, 15 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

அதாவது மரணத்தின் அதிபதியான சாத்தானை அழித்து, மரண பயத்தினால் அடிமைப்பட்டிருந்த மக்களை அதிலிருந்து விடுவிக்க அவர் மனித உடலெடுத்தார். எனவே இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை விசுவாசித்து,  அவர் நமக்காக மனித உடலெடுத்து நமக்காகப் பாடுபட்டார் என்பதையும்  விசுவாசிக்கும்போது  நாம் பாவத்திலிருந்தும், சாத்தானின் பிடியிலிருந்தும் மரண பயத்திலிருந்தும்  விடுதலை  பெறுகின்றோம்.

அவரது காலத்து  மக்கள் அவரை மரியாளின் மகனாக, யோசேப்பின் மகனாக எண்ணியதுபோல நாமும் எண்ணிக்கொண்டிருக்கக் கூடாது. வேதாகமத்தில் கிறிஸ்து உலகத்தில் வாழ்ந்தபோது பேசிய பேச்சுக்கள், செயல்கள் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளன. அவற்றைச்  சரித்திரக் கதைபோல வாசித்து அவரது மனிதத் தன்மையை மட்டும் நாம் எண்ணிக்கொண்டு அவரது சர்வ வல்லமையையும், உலகத்தோற்றத்துக்குமுன்னே அவர் இருக்கின்றார் எனும் சத்தியத்தையும் மறந்துவிடக்கூடாது. 

கிறிஸ்தவத்தின்  ஆரம்ப காலத்தில் பலரும் இயேசுவை மனிதராகக் கண்டிருந்ததால் அவர்களுக்கு கிறிஸ்துவை தேவனாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதில் பல சந்தேகங்கள், சிக்கல்கள்  இருந்தன.  எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "நாங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவையும் மாம்சத்தின்படி அறிந்திருந்தாலும், இனி ஒருபோதும் அவரை மாம்சத்தின்படி அறியோம்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 5 : 16 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

ஆம், கிறிஸ்து உலகம் தோன்றுவதற்கு முன்னரேயே இருக்கின்றார்; அவரே உலகத்தைப் படைத்தார். "சகலமும் அவராலும் அவர் மூலமாயும் அவருக்காகவும் இருக்கிறது; அவருக்கே என்றென்றைக்கும் மகிமையுண்டாவதாக. ஆமென்." (ரோமர் 11:36) 

பிசாசானவனைத் தமது மரணத்தினாலே அழிக்கும்படிக்கும், ஜீவகாலமெல்லாம் மரணபயத்தினாலே அடிமைத்தனத்திற்குள்ளானவர்கள் யாவரையும் விடுதலை பண்ணும்படிக்கும் அவர் மனிதனானார். எனவே, கிறிஸ்துவை முழுமையாக விசுவாசித்து அவர் வழங்கும் பாவ மன்னிப்பு அனுபவத்தையும் பெற்று வாழும்போதுதான் மெய்யான தேவனையும் அவரது மீட்பினையும் தேவ ஆசீர்வாதங்களையும் பெற்றவர்களாக மாற முடியும். வெறுமனே உலக மக்கள் கொண்டாடுவதுபோல நாமும் அவரது பிறப்பின் நாளைக் கொண்டாடிக்கொண்டு இருப்போமானால் அவரை அறியாதவர்களாகவே இருப்போம்.

“Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same…” — Hebrews 2:14

When the month of December arrives, the whole world prepares to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible says, “God is spirit” (John 4:24). That eternal Spirit—God Himself—took on human form and became flesh and blood like us.

Today, many think only of His human appearance and imagine Him to be an ordinary man who lived two thousand years ago. Some consider Him merely a great teacher, like other wise men born in this world. Even those who refuse to accept Him as God still acknowledge Him as a wise man. However, very few accept the truth that He is the eternal God who created the world. Sadly, many Christians themselves do not know that Jesus Christ is the One who created everything. That is why they are unable to see Him as the Almighty and believe in Him fully.

The Bible says, “In these last days [God] has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.” (Hebrews 1:2). Apostle Paul also writes, “Yet for us there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.” (1 Corinthians 8:6).

If Jesus Christ is the Almighty through whom the world was created, then why did He become flesh and blood? The continuation of today’s text gives us the answer.

After stating today’s meditation verse, the Scripture continues:

“…so that through death He might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, and free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.” — Hebrews 2:14–15

In other words, He took on a human body to destroy Satan—the ruler of death—and to deliver people who had been enslaved by the fear of death. When we believe in Jesus Christ and acknowledge that He became man and suffered for us, we are delivered from sin, from the grip of Satan, and from the fear of death.

Just as the people of His time saw Him as the son of Mary or the son of Joseph, let us not reduce Him to a mere human. The Scriptures record His words and deeds when He lived on earth. We must not read them as mere history and forget His divine power and His existence before the creation of the world.

In the early days of Christianity, many struggled to accept Jesus as God because they had seen Him as a man. That is why Apostle Paul said,

“…even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer.” (2 Corinthians 5:16)

Yes, Christ existed even before the world began; He created all things.

“For from Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.” — Romans 11:36

He became man to destroy the devil through His death and to set free all those enslaved by the fear of death. Therefore, only when we fully believe in Christ, experience the forgiveness of sins He offers, and live in that truth, can we become those who truly know the living God, His salvation, and His blessings. If we simply celebrate His birth as the world does, we will remain people who do not truly know Him.

🦋 Meditation verse - சங்கீதம் 119: 61 / Psalm 119:61

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1760                                    🔆 ஆதவன் 02.12.2025 செவ்வாய்      

"துன்மார்க்கரின் கூட்டங்கள் என்னைக் கொள்ளையிட்டும், உம்முடைய வேதத்தை நான் மறக்கவில்லை." ( சங்கீதம் 119: 61)

தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைகள் நமது உள்ளத்தில் பதிந்து ஏற்ற செயல்புரியவேண்டுமானால் நமது இருதயம் பண்பட்டதாக மாறவேண்டியது அவசியம். இல்லையானால் நெருக்கடிகள், துன்பங்கள், இழப்புகள் ஏற்படும்போது நாம் தேவனை விட்டுப் பின்மாறிபோய்விடுவோம். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் சங்கீத ஆசிரியர், "துன்மார்க்கரின் கூட்டங்கள் என்னைக் கொள்ளையிட்டும், உம்முடைய வேதத்தை நான் மறக்கவில்லை" என்கின்றார்.   அதாவது, நான் உமது வேதத்தில் உறுதியான நம்பிக்கைக் கொண்டிருக்கிறேன், எனவே எனக்குத் துன்மார்க்கர்கள் மூலம் இழப்புக்கள் ஏற்பட்டபோதும்; பல்வேறு எதிர்மறையான சம்பவங்கள் வாழ்வில் ஏற்பட்டபோதும்,  நான் உமது வேதத்தை மறக்கவில்லை. அதனை நான் அசட்டைபண்ணவில்லை என்கின்றார். 

இதனையே ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும்  வேத வார்த்தைகள் நமது உள்ளத்தில் பதிந்து பலன்தரவேண்டியது அவசியம் என்பதனை வலியுறுத்த விதைக்கிறவன் உவமை வழியாக நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்தினார். 

"கேளுங்கள், விதைக்கிறவன் ஒருவன் விதைக்கப் புறப்பட்டான். அவன் விதைக்கையில், சில விதைகள்  வழியருகே விழுந்தன; ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகள் வந்து அவற்றை பட்சித்துப்போட்டன. சில விதைகள்  அதிக மண்ணில்லாத கற்பாறை நிலத்தில் விழுந்தன; அதற்கு ஆழமான மண்ணில்லாததினாலே சீக்கிரத்தில் முளைத்தன. வெயில் ஏறினபோதோ, தீய்ந்துபோய், வேரில்லாமையால் உலர்ந்து போயின. சில விதைகள்  முள்ளுள்ள இடங்களில் விழுந்தன; முட்கள் வளர்ந்து, அவை பலன் கொடாதபடி, அவற்றை நெருக்கிப்போட்டன. (மாற்கு 4:3-7)

நமது இருதயம் வழியருகே விதைக்கப்பட்ட விதைகளை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டதுபோல தேவ வசனங்களை ஏற்றுக்கொள்கின்றதா? இல்லை, மண்ணில்லாத கற்பாறை போன்றதாக இருக்கின்றதா?,  இல்லையானால் பிரச்னையெனும் முட்கள் நெருக்கும்போது நெருக்கமடைந்து பலன்தராத நிலத்தைப்போல இருக்கின்றதா? என்று சிந்தித்துப்பார்ப்போம்.  நல்ல நிலத்தில் விதைக்கப்பட்ட விதைகள், "ஓங்கிவளருகிற பயிராகி, ஒன்று முப்பதும், ஒன்று அறுபதும், ஒன்று நூறுமாகப் பலன் தந்தன."  (மாற்கு 4:8) அதுபோல நாம் பலன்தரவேண்டுமானால் இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதுபோல, வேதத்தை நாம் மறக்கக்கூடாது. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது இதயமானது வேத வசனங்களை தேவ வார்த்தைகளாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலராகிய பவுல் தெசலோனிக்கேயருக்கு எழுதிய நிரூபத்தில், "ஆகையால், நீங்கள் தேவவசனத்தை எங்களாலே கேள்விப்பட்டு ஏற்றுக்கொண்டபோது, அதை மனுஷர் வசனமாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாமல், தேவவசனமாகவே ஏற்றுக்கொண்டதினாலே நாங்கள் இடைவிடாமல் தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரஞ்செலுத்துகிறோம்; அது மெய்யாகவே தேவவசனந்தான், விசுவாசிக்கிற உங்களுக்குள்ளே அது பெலனும் செய்கிறது." (1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 2:13)

வேத வசனங்களை தேவ வசனமாகவே ஏற்றுக்கொள்வோமானால் நமக்குள் அது பெலன் செய்யும். துன்மார்க்கரின் கூட்டங்கள் போல பிரச்சனைகள் நம்மைக் கொள்ளையிட்டாலும் நாம் அவருடைய வேதத்தை மறக்கமாட்டோம்.

“Inside the Seeds” 🌳

“The cords of the wicked have encircled me, But I have not forgotten Your Law.” (Psalm 119:61)

For the Word of God to take root within us and work effectively, our hearts must be cultivated and made tender. Otherwise, when pressures, sufferings, and losses arise, we may drift away from God.

In today’s meditation verse, the Psalmist declares: “The cords of the wicked have encircled me, but I have not forgotten Your Law.”
He means this: “My trust in Your Word is firm. Even when I suffered loss through wicked people, even when negative situations overwhelmed my life, I did not forget Your Word, nor did I treat it lightly.”

The Lord Jesus Christ also emphasized the necessity of God’s Word settling deep within us and bearing fruit. He taught this truth through the Parable of the Sower:

“Listen to this! Behold, the Sower went out to sow; and as he was sowing, some seed fell beside the road, and the birds came and ate it up. Other seed fell on the rocky ground where it did not have much soil; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of soil. And after the sun had risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. Other seed fell among the thorns, and the thorns came up and choked it, and it did not produce a crop.” (Mark 4:3–7)

Let us examine our hearts today: Are we like the roadside soil that easily loses the seed of the Word? Are we like the rocky ground where the Word has no depth? Or are we like the thorny ground where problems choke out the Word, preventing growth?

But the Lord says of the good soil:

“Other seeds fell into the good soil, and as they grew up and increased, they yielded a crop and produced thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.” (Mark 4:8)

If we are to bear fruit, we must hold firmly to the Word of God, just as today’s meditation verse teaches us—not forgetting it under any circumstances.

Dearly beloved, our hearts must receive the Scriptures as the very Word of God. The apostle Paul affirms this in his letter to the Thessalonians:

“For this reason, we also constantly thank God that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but for what it really is, the word of God, which also performs its work in you who believe.” (1 Thessalonians 2:13)

If we receive the Scriptures as God’s Word, it will certainly work powerfully within us. Even when problems surround us like the cords of the wicked, we will not forget His Word.
