🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 30 : 18 / Isaiah 30:18

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1678                                          ஆதவன் 11.09.2025 வியாழன் 

"ஆனாலும் உங்களுக்கு இரங்கும்படி கர்த்தர் காத்திருப்பார், உங்கள்மேல் மனதுருகும்படி எழுந்திருப்பார்; கர்த்தர் நீதிசெய்கிற தேவன்; அவருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிற அனைவரும் பாக்கியவான்கள்." ( ஏசாயா 30 : 18 )

இந்த உலகத்தில் நாம் காதலர்கள் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் காத்திருப்பதைப் பார்த்திருக்கின்றோம். பேருந்து நிலையங்களிலும், உணவுவிடுதிகளிலும், கடற்கரைகளிலும் இப்படித் தங்கள் துணைகளுக்காகக்  காத்திருக்கின்றனர். இப்படிக் காத்திருப்பது அவர்களுக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியாகவும் இருக்கின்றது. இதுபோலவே, நம்மை உண்மையாக அன்பு செய்யும்  கர்த்தர் நமக்காகக் காத்திருக்கின்றார். மனிதர்களாகிய நாமும்  அவருக்காகக் காத்திருக்கவேண்டுமென்று அவரும் ஆசைப்படுகின்றார். 

கர்த்தர் இப்படிக் காத்திருப்பது நாம் அவரோடு இணைந்திருக்க வேண்டும் எனும் ஒரே நோக்கத்துக்காகத்தான். பாவத்திலேயே மூழ்கி அழிந்துகொண்டிருக்கும் மனிதர்கள் எப்போது மன்னிப்பைவேண்டி தன்னிடம் வருவார்கள் என்று தேவன் காத்திருக்கின்றார். காத்திருக்கும் கர்த்தரை நாம் கண்டுகொள்ள உலகக் காதலர்கள் காத்திருப்பதுபோல குறிப்பிட்ட இடங்களுக்குச் செல்லவேண்டுமென்று அவசியமில்லை. நாம் உண்மையாக விரும்பினால், எங்கும் அவரை நாம் கண்டுகொள்ளலாம்.  கர்த்தர் இதனையே, "உங்களுக்கு இரங்கும்படி கர்த்தர் காத்திருப்பார், உங்கள்மேல் மனதுருகும்படி எழுந்திருப்பார்" என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

உலக காதலர்களைப்போல நாமும் கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது ஆத்தும இரட்சிப்புக்கு நாம் காத்திருந்து ஜெபிக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "அதுவுமல்லாமல், ஆவியின் முதற்பலன்களைப் பெற்ற நாமுங்கூட நம்முடைய சரீர மீட்பாகிய புத்திரசுவிகாரம் வருகிறதற்குக் காத்திருந்து, நமக்குள்ளே தவிக்கிறோம். அந்த நம்பிக்கையினாலே நாம் இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம். காணப்படுகிறதை நம்புகிறது நம்பிக்கையல்ல; ஒருவன் தான் காண்கிறதை நம்பவேண்டுவதென்ன?" ( ரோமர் 8 : 23-24 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

நமது உள்ளத்தை கர்த்தருக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து நாம் காத்திருக்கவேண்டும். ஆம், காணமுடியாத தேவன் நமக்கு அளிக்கும் இரட்சிப்பினை நாம் நம்பிக்கையுடன் காத்திருந்து பெறவேண்டியது அவசியம். "நாம் காணாததை நம்பினோமாகில், அது வருகிறதற்குப் பொறுமையோடே காத்திருப்போம்." ( ரோமர் 8 : 25 )

இப்படிக் காத்திருப்பவர்களை தேவன் கைவிடமாட்டார். நிச்சயமாக அவர் காத்திருக்கும் மக்களுக்குப் பதில் தருவார். தனது மகிமையை அவர்கள் உணர்ந்துகொள்ளும்படி கிருபைசெய்வார். எனவேதான் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின் இறுதிப்பகுதியில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது, "கர்த்தர் நீதிசெய்கிற தேவன்; அவருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிற அனைவரும் பாக்கியவான்கள்" என்று. தாவீது ராஜா இப்படிக் கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருந்து நன்மைகளைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டதால் கூறுகின்றார்,  "கர்த்தருக்காகப் பொறுமையுடன் காத்திருந்தேன்; அவர் என்னிடமாய்ச் சாய்ந்து, என் கூப்பிடுதலைக் கேட்டார்" ( சங்கீதம் 40 : 1 ) என்று. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, சிலவேளைகளில் தேவனது பதில் கிடைக்கக் காலதாமதம் ஆகலாம். ஆனால் அவர் ஒருபோதும் நம்மைக் காத்திருந்து ஏமாறவிடமாட்டார். "நெடுங்காலமாய்க் காத்திருக்குதல் இருதயத்தை இளைக்கப்பண்ணும்; விரும்பினது வரும்போதோ ஜீவவிருட்சம்போல் இருக்கும்." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 13 : 12 ) கர்த்தரும் நமக்கு இரங்கும்படிக் காத்திருப்பார், நம்மேல் மனதுருகும்படி எழுந்திருப்பார் என்பதனையும் நாம் மறந்து விடாமல்  விசுவாசத்தோடு காத்திருந்து ஜெபிப்போம்.

"Inside the Seeds" 🌳

Scripture Meditation No: 1678
AATHAVAN – Thursday, 11.09.2025

"And therefore, will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him." (Isaiah 30:18)

In this world, we often see lovers waiting for one another. At bus stands, restaurants, and seashores, they eagerly wait for their companions. That waiting itself brings them joy. In the same way, the Lord, who truly loves us, waits for us. He also longs that we, as humans, should wait for Him.

The Lord waits with one purpose—that we may be united with Him. God patiently waits for sinful, perishing men to turn to Him seeking forgiveness. To meet this waiting God, we need not go to any specific place like the lovers of the world do. If we truly desire, we can find Him anywhere. That is why the Scripture says: "the LORD will wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you."

Just as earthly lovers wait for one another, we too must wait for the Lord. Yes, beloved, for the salvation of our souls, we must wait in prayer. The Apostle Paul says: "And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?" (Romans 8:23–24).

We must surrender our hearts to the Lord and wait for Him. Yes, the invisible God has promised us salvation, and we must wait with faith to receive it. "But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it." (Romans 8:25)

God will never forsake those who wait for Him. Surely, He will answer His waiting people and grant them grace to experience His glory. That is why today’s verse concludes: "for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him." King David testifies from his own experience: "I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry." (Psalm 40:1).

Yes, beloved, sometimes God’s answer may seem delayed. But He will never allow us to be put to shame for waiting. "Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life." (Proverbs 13:12). Let us therefore not forget that the Lord Himself waits to be gracious unto us and longs to have mercy on us. May we, in faith, continue to wait upon Him in prayer.

🦋 Meditation verse - சங்கீதம் 124 : 7-8 / Psalm 124:7–8

  "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1677                                          ஆதவன் 10.09.2025 புதன் 

"வேடருடைய கண்ணிக்குத் தப்பின குருவியைப்போல நம்முடைய ஆத்துமா தப்பிற்று, கண்ணி தெறித்தது, நாம் தப்பினோம். நம்முடைய சகாயம் வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் உண்டாக்கின கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தில் உள்ளது." ( சங்கீதம் 124 : 7-8 )

குருவி பிடிக்க குறவர்கள் வலைகளை விரிப்பதுண்டு. பிடித்தக் குருவிகளை கூண்டுகளில் அடைத்து விற்பனைசெய்து பிழைப்பு நடத்துவார்கள் அவர்கள். ஒருமுறை சாத்தான்குளம் பகுதியில் கடலை பயிரிடப்பட்டிருந்த  ஒரு தோட்டத்தில் இப்படி வலைவிரித்து அவர்கள் குருவிகளை பிடிக்க முயன்றதைப் பார்த்தேன். அவர்கள் விரித்திருந்த வலையில் பல குருவிகள், மைனாக்கள் சிக்கியிருந்தன.  ஆனால் அவைகளை வலையிலிருந்து அவர்கள் பிடிக்குமுன் அவர்களது கூட்டத்தைச் சார்ந்த சிறுவன் ஒருவன் தவறுதலாக வலையை அகற்ற அவற்றில் சிக்கியிருந்த பல குருவிகள் வில்லிலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட அம்புபோல வேகமாகத் தப்பிப் பறந்தன. 

தாவீது சிறுவயதில் வானந்தரங்களில் ஆடுகள் மேய்த்துக்கொண்டிருந்தபோது இதுபோன்ற சம்பவங்களைப் பாத்திருப்பார். எனவே, பாவம் மற்றும் சாத்தானின் பிடியில் சிக்கியிருந்த தனது ஆத்துமா தேவனது கிருபையால் அவற்றிலிருந்து விடுவிக்கப்பட்டதை அவர் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் இப்படி வலையிலிருந்து தப்பிய குருவிகளுக்கு ஒப்பிடுகின்றார். அதாவது கர்த்தரது கிருபையால் இத்தனை வேகமாக வேடருடைய கண்ணிக்குத் தப்பின குருவியைப்போல நம்முடைய ஆத்துமா தப்பிற்று என்று குறிப்பிடுகின்றார். ஆம், தேவன் நாம் எப்போது அவரிடம் நெருங்கி வருவோம் என்று காத்திருக்கின்றார். நாம் ஓரடி அவரை நோக்கி எடுத்துவைத்தாலே போதும் நமது ஆத்துமா பிழைக்கும். சகேயுவின் வாழ்க்கை  (லூக்கா 19) நமக்கு இதனை உணர்த்துவதாக உள்ளது. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, சாத்தான் நம்மை மோசம்போக்கிட தந்திரமான வலைகளை விரித்துள்ளான். உலக மனிதர்கள் பலரும் அறிந்தும் அறியாமலும் அந்த வலைக்கண்ணியில் சிக்கிக்கொள்கின்றனர். ஆனால் வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் உண்டாக்கின கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தில் நமக்கு விடுதலை உண்டு.  அவரது பார்வை நம்மீது படும்போது நாம் எத்தனை பாவிகளாக இருந்தாலும் நம்மைக் கட்டியுள்ள பாவக்கண்ணிகள் தெறித்து உடைந்துபோகும்.  எனவேதான் நமக்கு தேவனது உதவி அதிகமாகத் தேவைப்படுகின்றது. இதனை அறிந்திருந்ததால் சங்கீத ஆசிரியர், "எனக்கு ஒத்தாசை வரும் பர்வதங்களுக்கு நேராக என் கண்களை ஏறெடுக்கிறேன்." ( சங்கீதம் 121 : 1 ) என்று தேவனை நோக்கி உதவிக்குக் கெஞ்சுகின்றார். 

பாவக்கண்ணிகள் நம்மைக் கட்டி  அடிமைப்படுத்தியுள்ளதை இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "பாவஞ்செய்கிறவன் எவனும் பாவத்துக்கு அடிமையாயிருக்கிறான் என்று மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்." ( யோவான் 8 : 34 ) என்று கூறினார். மட்டுமல்ல, இந்தப் பாவக்கண்ணிகள் குமாரனாகிய கிறிஸ்துவால் மட்டுமே உடைக்கப்படமுடியும். ஆம்,  "ஆகையால் குமாரன் உங்களை விடுதலையாக்கினால் மெய்யாகவே விடுதலையாவீர்கள்." ( யோவான் 8 : 36 )

கிறிஸ்துவிடம் நமது பாவங்களை அறிக்கையிட்டு மனம்திரும்பும்போது வேடருடைய கண்ணிக்குத் தப்பின குருவியைப்போல நம்முடைய ஆத்துமா தப்பிப் பிழைக்கும். நம்மைக் கட்டியிருக்கும் பாவக்கண்ணி தெறிக்கும்; நாம் தப்புவிக்கப்படுவோம்.  இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவினாலே ஜீவனுடைய ஆவியின் பிரமாணம் என்னைப் பாவம் மரணம் என்பவைகளின் பிரமாணத்தினின்று விடுதலையாக்கிற்றே.'" ( ரோமர் 8 : 2 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, வேடனுடைய கண்ணிக்குத் தப்பிய குருவியைப்போல அவரது கிருபையால் மட்டுமே நமது ஆத்துமா தப்பிப்பிழைக்கும். பாவங்கள் கண்ணிக்குத் தப்பிய குருவியைப்போல நம்மைவிட்டுப்  பறந்துபோகும். "மேற்குக்கும் கிழக்குக்கும் எவ்வளவு தூரமோ, அவ்வளவு தூரமாய் அவர் நம்முடைய பாவங்களை நம்மைவிட்டு விலக்கினார்." ( சங்கீதம் 103 : 12 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். எனவே, வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் உண்டாக்கின கர்த்தருடைய உதவிக்குக் கெஞ்சி ஜெபிப்போம். நமது ஆத்துமா விடுதலை அடையும்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1677
AATHAVAN – Wednesday, 10 September 2025

"Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped. Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth." (Psalm 124:7–8 KJV)

Hunters spread nets to catch sparrows. Once caught, they shut them in cages and sell them for their livelihood. Once, in the region of Sathankulam in Tamil Nadu, I saw such hunters laying nets in a ground where groundnuts were cultivated. Many sparrows and mynas were trapped in the net. But before the hunters could seize them, a boy from their group accidentally loosened the net, and suddenly, like arrows released from a bow, the birds flew away to freedom.

Young David, while tending sheep in the wilderness, must have seen such sights. Therefore, in today’s verse, he compares his soul—once caught in the snares of sin and Satan but set free by God’s grace—to sparrows that escaped from the net of the fowlers. Yes, by the Lord’s grace, “our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers.” God is waiting for us to turn toward Him. Even one step toward Him is enough for our soul to live. The life of Zacchaeus (Luke 19) reveals this truth to us.

Beloved, Satan has cunningly spread many snares to entrap us. Countless people, knowingly or unknowingly, are caught in them. But there is deliverance for us in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth. When His eyes are upon us, no matter how sinful we may be, the snares of sin that bind us will be broken. That is why we so desperately need God’s help. The Psalmist, realizing this, cried out: “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.” (Psalm 121:1 KJV)

Jesus Himself said, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.” (John 8:34 KJV). These sinful snares can only be broken by the Son. “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” (John 8:36 KJV).

When we confess our sins and repent before Christ, our soul escapes like the sparrow from the snare of the fowlers. The net is broken, and we are delivered. The Apostle Paul affirms: “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” (Romans 8:2 KJV).

Yes, dearly beloved, only by His grace will our soul escape like the bird from the snare. Our sins, too, will fly away from us: “As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.” (Psalm 103:12 KJV). Therefore, let us plead in prayer for the help of the Lord who made heaven and earth, that our souls may find true deliverance.

🦋 Meditation verse - சகரியா 4 : 10 / Zechariah 4:10

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1676                                          ஆதவன் 09.09.2025 செவ்வாய்          

"அற்பமான ஆரம்பத்தின் நாளை யார் அசட்டைபண்ணலாம்? பூமியெங்கும் சுற்றிப்பார்க்கிறவைகளாகிய கர்த்தருடைய ஏழு கண்களும் செருபாபேலின் கையில் இருக்கிற தூக்குநூலைச் சந்தோஷமாய்ப் பார்க்கின்றன." ( சகரியா 4 : 10 )

பாபிலோனியரின் அடிமைத்தனத்திலிருந்து விடுதலைபெற்று வெளிவந்த இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் தாங்கள் அடிமைப்பட்டபோது  தகர்க்கப்பட்ட  கர்த்தரது ஆலயத்தை பழுதுபார்த்துத் திரும்பக்  கட்டியெழுப்ப முயன்றனர். செருபாபேல் முன்னின்று இந்த ஆலயக் கட்டுமானப் பணிகளை நிறைவேற்றிக் கொண்டிருந்தார். ஆனால், இஸ்ரவேலரின் எதிரிகள் ஆலயக் கட்டுமானம் நடைபெறக்கூடாது என்பதிலேயே குறியாக இருந்து அதனைத் தடுத்து நிறுத்த முயன்று கொண்டிருந்தனர். அப்போது சகரியா தீர்க்கத்தரிசிமூலம் கர்த்தரது திடப்படுத்தும் வார்த்தைகள் அவர்களுக்கு வந்தன. 

இஸ்ரவேலரின் ஆலயக் கட்டுமானப்பணியினை அவர்களின் எதிரிகள் பலரும் ஏளனம் செய்தனர். அவர்களை அசட்டைபண்ணினர். ஆனால் சகரியா மூலம் கர்த்தர் கூறுகின்றார், "பூமியெங்கும் சுற்றிப்பார்க்கிறவைகளாகிய கர்த்தருடைய ஏழு கண்களும் செருபாபேலின் கையில் இருக்கிற தூக்குநூலைச் சந்தோஷமாய்ப் பார்க்கின்றன" என்று. தூக்குநூல் என்பது கட்டுமானப்பணிகளுக்கு கொத்தனார்கள் பயன்படுத்தும் அளவுநூல்.  இந்தத் தூக்குநூலின் உதவியால் சுவரின் சாய்மானத்தைக் கணக்கிட்டுச் சரிசெய்வார்கள். அதாவது, ஆலயக் கட்டுமானப் பணிகளைக்  கர்த்தர் சந்தோஷமாகப் பார்த்தார். 

இதுபோலவே ஆவிக்குரிய காரியங்களிலும் இன்று  நடைபெறுகின்றது. எருசலேம் ஆலயம் தகர்க்கப்பட்டதுபோல மனிதர்களது உடலாகிய ஆலயத்தைச்  சாத்தான் கெடுத்துத் தகர்த்துவிட்டான்; மனிதர்களது ஆத்துமாக்களைச் சிறைபிடித்துவிட்டான். சாத்தானுக்கும் பாவத்துக்கும்  மக்கள் அடிமைகளாகிவிட்டனர். ஆனால், கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவால் மீட்கப்படும்போது தகர்க்கப்பட்ட நமது தகர்க்கப்பட்ட மனித ஆலயத்தை மறுபடியும் கட்டியெழுப்ப முயலுகின்றோம் என்று பொருள். இப்போது, நமது இந்த ஆவிக்குரிய புதிய முயற்சியினை அன்று இஸ்ரவேலரின் ஆலயக்கட்டுமானத்தை எதிரிகள் அற்பமாகப் பார்த்து அசட்டைசெய்ததுபோல நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வின் எதிரிகளாக நண்பர்களும் குடும்பத்தினரும் நம்மை அற்பமாக எண்ணி அசட்டைசெய்யலாம். 

ஆனால், பூமியெங்கும் சுற்றிப்பார்க்கிறவைகளாகிய கர்த்தருடைய ஏழு கண்களும் செருபாபேலின் கையில் இருக்கிற தூக்குநூலைச் சந்தோஷமாய்ப் பார்ததுபோல நமது ஆவிக்குரிய முயற்சிகளை கர்த்தர் சந்தோஷமாகப்  பார்க்கின்றார். எனவே, மனிதர்களது அற்பமான பார்வைகளைக்கண்டு நாம் மனம் மடியவேண்டாம். 

எனது ஆரம்பகால ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கையில் என்னிடம் சிலர் ஏளனமாக "என்ன, உனக்கு என்ன ஆனது? நீயும் இந்த அல்லேலூயா கூட்டத்தில் சேர்ந்து கைத்தட்டத் துவங்கிவிட்டாய்" என்றும்,  "பெந்தெகொஸ்தேகாரர்கள்  உன்னை மூளைச்சலவைச் செய்துவிட்டனர்" என்றும் கூறியதுண்டு. "அந்த ஓலைக் கொட்டகைக்குப்போய் என்ன புதிதாகப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டாய்?" என்று கேள்வி கேட்டனர். ஆனால்  அதனை, செருபாபேலின் கையில் இருக்கிற தூக்குநூலைக் கர்த்தர்  சந்தோஷமாய்ப் பார்த்ததுபோலச்  சந்தோஷமாகப்  பார்த்தார். இன்று அவர்களில் சிலர் என்னிடம், "பிரதர், எனக்காக ஜெபித்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்" என்கின்றனர். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, ஆவிக்குரிய காரியத்தில் நாம் மற்றவர்களது கேலி, நம்மை அவர்கள் அற்பமாகப் பேசுவது இவைகளை எண்ணிக் கலங்காமல் கர்த்தரை மட்டும் நோக்கிப்பார்க்கவேண்டும்.  மற்றவர்களை நாம் சந்தோஷப்படுத்தத் தேவையில்லை, நமது ஆவிக்குரிய செயல்பாடுகள் கர்த்தரை சந்தோசப்படுத்துவதாக இருந்தால் போதும்.  "கர்த்தரின் கண்கள் எவ்விடத்திலுமிருந்தும், நல்லோரையும் தீயோரையும் நோக்கிப்பார்க்கின்றன." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 15 : 3) எனவே எச்சரிக்கையுடன் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வைத் தொடருவோம்.

“For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.” (Zechariah 4:10 KJV)

After being delivered from Babylonian captivity, the Israelites attempted to rebuild the temple of the Lord which had been destroyed during their bondage. Zerubbabel led the people in this temple construction work. But their enemies were determined to hinder the rebuilding, doing all they could to stop it. At that time, God’s strengthening words came to them through the prophet Zechariah.

Many mocked the Israelites and despised the rebuilding work of the temple. Yet through Zechariah, the Lord declared that His seven eyes, which run to and fro throughout the earth, rejoiced to see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel. The plummet (plumb line) was the measuring tool used by masons to align and adjust the walls. This shows that God Himself rejoiced to see the progress of the temple construction.

In the same way, today, similar things happen in spiritual life. Just as the Jerusalem temple was destroyed, so also Satan has corrupted and broken down the temple of man’s body, taking souls captive and enslaving people to sin. But when redeemed through Jesus Christ, we begin to rebuild our broken spiritual temple. At such times, just as the enemies mocked the rebuilding of the Israelites, our spiritual enemies—sometimes even friends or family—may despise and mock our new beginnings in Christ.

Yet, just as the Lord rejoiced to see the plummet in Zerubbabel’s hand, He rejoices to see our spiritual efforts today. Therefore, we must not lose heart at man’s scornful view.

In the early days of my Christian Walk, some mocked me saying, “What has happened to you? Have you also joined that Hallelujah group clapping hands?” Some said, “The Pentecostals have brainwashed you.” Others asked, “What new thing did you gain from going to that thatched shed?” But the Lord looked upon me with joy, just as He rejoiced to see the plummet in Zerubbabel’s hand. Today, some of those very people come to me saying, “Brother, please pray for me.”

Yes, beloved, in spiritual matters we must not be disturbed by mockery or belittling words. We need not please men; it is enough that our spiritual walk pleases God. “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.” (Proverbs 15:3 KJV) Therefore, let us continue our spiritual journey with watchfulness.

🦋 Meditation verse - எரேமியா 21 : 8 / Jeremiah 21:8

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1675                                           ஆதவன் 08.09.2025 திங்கள்         

"இதோ, நான் உங்கள் முன்னே ஜீவவழியையும் மரணவழியையும் வைக்கிறேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்." ( எரேமியா 21 : 8 )

தேவன் மனிதர்களை முழு சுதந்திரமுள்ளவர்களாகவே படைத்துள்ளார். மனிதர்கள் தங்கள் மனதின் விருப்பத்தின்படி முடிவெடுக்கும் உரிமை அவர்களுக்கு உண்டு. ஒரு இயந்திரத்தைப்போல மனிதர்களை தேவன் படைத்திருந்தால் எல்லோரும் அவரது கட்டுப்பாட்டில் ஒரு ரோபோ போல செயல்பட்டுக் கொண்டிருப்போம். அது முழுமையான மகிழ்ச்சியை மனிதர்களுக்குத்  தந்திருக்காது.  சுதந்திரமாக முடிவெடுக்கும்போது ஒருவருக்கு அது  மனமகிழ்ச்சியைக்  கொடுக்கும்.  

இந்த உலகத்தில் தேவன் மனிதர்கள் தெரிந்துகொள்ள வேண்டிய வழிகளை அவர்களுக்கு முன்வைத்துள்ளார். இது ஏதேன் தோட்டத்திலேயே தேவன் வைத்திருந்த வழிமுறைதான். ஜீவனுக்குப்போகும் வழி மற்றும் நித்திய அழிவுக்குச் செல்லும் வழி இவைகளை தேவன் அன்று ஆதாம் ஏவாளுக்குக் கட்டளை மூலம் காண்பித்திருந்தார். அதாவது தேவன் கட்டளையைக்  கொடுத்துவிட்டு  அதன்படி நடக்கலாமா வேண்டாமா எனும் முடிவினை மனிதர்களே எடுக்கும்படிச் செய்திருந்தார். ஆனால் அவர்களோ தங்களது சுய ஆசை விருப்பதினிமித்தம் அழிவுக்கான வழியினைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டனர். 

அதுபோலவே இன்றும் இந்த உலகத்தில் இரண்டு வழிகள் இருக்கின்றன. அதனையே, "இதோ, நான் உங்கள் முன்னே ஜீவவழியையும் மரணவழியையும் வைக்கிறேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்." இன்று வழியை மட்டும் தேவன் மனிதர்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கவில்லை, மாறாக எந்த வழியில் நடக்கவேண்டுமென்றும் காண்பித்திருக்கின்றார். அவையே பல்வேறு தேவ கட்டளைகளாக நமக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. மட்டுமல்ல, ஜீவவழியில் நடந்து வெற்றிபெற்ற பரிசுத்தவான்களது வாழ்க்கை வரலாறுகளையும் நமக்கு வேதாகமம் மூலம் காண்பித்திருக்கின்றார். 

இவைகளுக்கு மேலாக நம்மை நேர்மையான வழியில் வழிநடத்தும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரைத் துணையாளராகத் தந்துள்ளார். ஆம், "நான் உனக்குப் போதித்து, நீ நடக்கவேண்டிய வழியை உனக்குக் காட்டுவேன்; உன்மேல் என் கண்ணை வைத்து, உனக்கு ஆலோசனை சொல்லுவேன்." ( சங்கீதம் 32 : 8 ) என்று தேவன் கூறுகின்றார். நமக்குமுன் ஜீவவழியும் மரணவழியும் இருந்தாலும் தேவனைச் சார்ந்து வாழ்வோமானால் எந்த வழியில் நடக்கவேண்டுமென்று அறிவுரைகூறி நாம் நடக்கவேண்டிய வழியை அவர் நமக்குக் காண்பிப்பார். 

ஆனால் தேவனை அறிய விரும்பாமல் துன்மார்க்க வாழ்விலேயே மகிழ்ச்சிகொண்டு வாழ்வோமானால் நாம் ஜீவனுக்குச் செல்லும் சமாதான வழியினை அறியாமல் போய்விடுவோம். இதனையே,  "சமாதானவழியை அவர்கள் அறியாதிருக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகத் தெய்வபயமில்லை, என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறதே." ( ரோமர் 3 : 17-18 ) என்கின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல். ஆம், தெய்வபயமில்லாமல் நாம் வாழ்வோமானால் நாம் சமாதான வழியினை அறியமுடியாது. 

மரணத்துக்குப்போகும் வழி செழிப்பான பகட்டான வழியாக நமக்குத் தெரியும். அந்த உலகக் கவர்ச்சியில் மயங்கி நாம் தடுமாறி மரணவழியிலேயே தொடர்ந்து பயணம்செய்யும் அபாயம் உண்டு. எனவே, "கர்த்தாவே, உமது வழியை எனக்குப் போதியும், என் எதிராளிகளினிமித்தம் செவ்வையான பாதையில் என்னை நடத்தும்." ( சங்கீதம் 27 : 11 ) என்று நாம் ஜெபிக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

எனவே, கர்த்தர் நம்முன் வைத்துள்ள இரண்டு வழிகளையும் நாம் தெளிவாகப்  புரிந்து சரியான வழியில் நடக்கவேண்டுமானால் நாம் ஜெபத்திலும், வேதாகம உண்மைகளை அறிவதிலும் ஆர்வமுள்ளவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டியதும் தேவனோடு ஐக்கியமுள்ளவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியதும்  அவசியம். அப்படி இருப்போமானால், அவர் நமக்குப் போதித்து, நாம் நடக்கவேண்டிய வழியை நமக்குக் காண்பிப்பார்; நமக்கு ஆலோசனையும் கூறுவார்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1675                                                     AATHAVAN – 08.09.2025, Monday

"And unto this people thou shalt say, thus saith the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death." (Jeremiah 21:8)

God created man with complete freedom. Every person has the right to make decisions according to the desires of their own heart. If God had made man like a machine, then we would all have acted like robots under His control. That would not have brought true joy to humanity. Joy comes when a person freely makes a decision.

From the very beginning, God placed choices before mankind. In the Garden of Eden itself, He revealed to Adam and Eve the way that leads to life and the way that ends in eternal destruction. God gave His commandment, but He also left the decision with them—whether to obey or disobey. Sadly, they chose the way of destruction, following their own desires.

Even today, there are two ways before us: life and death. God Himself declares, “Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death.” (Jeremiah 21:8). Not only has He shown us these ways, but through His commandments and the testimonies of saints who walked victoriously in the way of life, He has revealed the path to follow.

Above all, God has given us the Holy Spirit as our Companion to guide us in the right way: “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.” (Psalm 32:8). Even though life and death are set before us, if we choose to live close to God, He will counsel us and lead us in the path of life.

But if we ignore God and delight in sinful living, we will never find the way of peace. As Paul wrote: “And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes.” (Romans 3:17–18). Without the fear of God, man cannot walk in the way of peace.

The way that leads to death often appears broad, attractive, and appealing. Yet, being deceived by worldly pleasures, many stumble into it. Hence, we must pray earnestly: “Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.” (Psalm 27:11).

Therefore, since the Lord has set before us two ways, it is essential that we discern them clearly, walk in the right path, remain devoted in prayer, grow in the knowledge of His Word, and live in union with Him. If we do so, He will faithfully teach us, guide us, and counsel us in the way we must walk.

🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 43 : 11-12 / Isaiah 43:11-12

"விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1674                                            ஆதவன் 07.09.2025 ஞாயிறு        

"நான், நானே கர்த்தர்; என்னையல்லாமல் இரட்சகர் இல்லை. நானே அறிவித்து, இரட்சித்து, விளங்கப்பண்ணினேன்; உங்களில் இப்படிச் செய்யத்தக்க அந்நிய தேவன் இல்லை; நானே தேவன் என்பதற்கு நீங்கள் எனக்குச் சாட்சிகள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்." ( ஏசாயா 43 : 11-12 )

நம்முடைய தேவன் நம்மிடமிருந்து வெறுமனே  ஆராதனையையும் வழிபாடுகளையும் புகழ்ச்சியையும் மட்டும் எதிர்பார்ப்பவரல்ல. அவர் மனித சுபாவம் மற்றும் மனித மனம் கொண்டவராகவே இருக்கின்றார். இப்படி இருப்பதால் அவர் நாம் பேசும்போது நமக்குப்  பதில் தருபவராகவும், நமக்கு வழி காட்டுபவராகவும் இருக்கின்றார். நாம் ஒருவரிடம் பேசும்போது அவர் நமக்கு மறுமொழி கூறாமலும் பதில் பேசாமலும் இருந்தால் எப்படி இருக்கும்? அது வெற்றுப் பேச்சாகத்தானே இருக்கும்? 

நமது தேவன் அப்படி நமது ஜெபங்களையும் பேச்சையும் கேட்காத ஒரு உயிரற்றவரல்ல. நமது பேச்சை அவர் கேட்கின்றார், நமது மனதின் ஏக்கங்களை அறிகின்றார், நமக்கு அறிவிக்கின்றார், நம்மை இரட்சித்து வழிநடத்துகின்றார்.  இப்படிச் செய்யக்கூடிய வேறு எந்த தெய்வங்களும் இல்லை என்று இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

இப்படிப்பட்ட  உயிருள்ள தேவனால் நாம் இந்த உலகத்தில் படைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கின்றோம். இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "வானத்திலேயும் பூமியிலேயும் தேவர்கள் என்னப்படுகிறவர்கள் உண்டு; இப்படி அநேக தேவர்களும் அநேக கர்த்தாக்களும் உண்டாயிருந்தாலும், பிதாவாகிய ஒரே தேவன் நமக்குண்டு, அவராலே சகலமும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது; அவருக்கென்று நாமும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறோம். இயேசுகிறிஸ்து என்னும் ஒரே கர்த்தரும் நமக்குண்டு; அவர் மூலமாய்ச் சகலமும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது, அவர் மூலமாய் நாமும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறோம்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 8 : 5-6 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

எதற்காக நமது தேவன் இப்படி நம்மோடு பேசி வழிநடத்துகின்றார் என்றால் நாம் அவருக்கு சாட்சியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழவேண்டும் என்பதற்காகவே என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் தொடர்ந்து, "நானே தேவன் என்பதற்கு நீங்கள் எனக்குச் சாட்சிகள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்." என்று கூறுகின்றது. நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும், "நீங்கள் எனக்குச் சாட்சிகளாய் இருப்பீர்கள்" (அப். 1:8) என்று கூறவில்லையா?  ஆம், கர்த்தரைத் தவிர வேறு தேவன் இல்லை என்பதனை நாம் உறுதியாக விசுவாசிக்கும்போதுதான் நாம் அவருக்குச் சாட்சியுள்ளவர்களாக வாழமுடியும். 

இந்த மெய்தேவனை நமக்கு ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துதாமே இந்தப் பூமியில் வந்து நமக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தினார். ஆம்,  "அன்றியும், நாம் சத்தியமுள்ளவரை அறிந்துகொள்வதற்கு தேவனுடைய குமாரன் வந்து நமக்குப் புத்தியைத் தந்திருக்கிறாரென்றும் அறிவோம்; அவருடைய குமாரனாகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்து என்னப்பட்ட சத்தியமுள்ளவருக்குள்ளும் இருக்கிறோம்; இவரே மெய்யான தேவனும் நித்தியஜீவனுமாயிருக்கிறார்." ( 1 யோவான்  5 : 20 )

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, நமது தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரையல்லாமல் வேறு இரட்சகர் இல்லை என்பதனை அவரே அறிவித்து, இரட்சித்து, விளங்கப்பண்ணியுள்ளதால் நாம் விசுவாசத்தில் உறுதியுடன் இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். அவர் செய்ததுபோல செய்யத்தக்க அந்நிய தேவன் எதுவும் இல்லை. எனவே, இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறியுள்ளபடி அவரே மெய்யான தேவன் என்பதற்கு நாம் சாட்சிகளாக விளங்கவேண்டியது அவசியம் என்று கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் கூறுகின்றார். அவருக்குச் சாட்சியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வதன்மூலம் மெய்யான தேவனை அறியாத மற்றவர்களுக்கும் அவரே மெய்யான தேவன் என்பதனைப்  புரியவைப்போம்.

“Inside the Seeds” 🌳

Scripture Meditation No. 1674
AATHAVAN – 07.09.2025 – Sunday

“I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore, ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.” (Isaiah 43:11-12, KJV)

Our God does not merely expect worship, adoration, and praise from us. He is One who has taken upon Himself the likeness of man, understanding human nature and human feelings. Therefore, when we speak to Him, He answers us, He guides us, and He makes His will known. If we were to speak to someone and they never responded, would it not feel like an empty conversation?

But our God is not lifeless, nor one who ignores our prayers and cries. He hears our words, knows the longings of our heart, declares His counsel, saves us, and leads us. Today’s Scripture affirms that no other god can do this.

It is this Living God who created us in this world. The Apostle Paul also said, “For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.” (1 Corinthians 8:5-6, KJV)

And why does our God speak and lead us in this way? So that we may live as His witnesses. Today’s meditation verse continues: “Therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.” Even our Lord Jesus Christ declared, “Ye shall be witnesses unto me.” (Acts 1:8, KJV) Yes, only when we firmly believe that there is no God besides Him, we can live as true witnesses for Him.

This True God was revealed to us by our Lord Jesus Christ, who came into this world. As Scripture testifies: “And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.” (1 John 5:20, KJV)

Therefore, beloved, since our God Himself has declared, saved, and revealed that there is no other Saviour besides Him, we must remain steadfast in faith. No strange god can do what He has done. As today’s meditation reminds us, we are His witnesses to the fact that He alone is the True God. By living as witnesses unto Him, we can make known to others who do not yet know Him that He alone is the True and Living God.

🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 51 : 7 / Isaiah 51:7

"விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1673                                            ஆதவன் 06.09.2025 சனி       

"நீதியை அறிந்தவர்களே, என் வேதத்தை இருதயத்தில் பதித்திருக்கிற ஜனங்களே, எனக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்; மனுஷரின் நிந்தனைக்குப் பயப்படாமலும், அவர்கள் தூஷணங்களால் கலங்காமலும் இருங்கள்."  ( ஏசாயா 51 : 7 )

தன்னை அறிந்து, தனக்கு உகந்தவர்களாக வாழும் மக்களுக்கு தேவன் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின்மூலம் ஆறுதலான வார்த்தைகளைத் தருகின்றார். அந்த மக்களையே அவர், "நீதியை அறிந்தவர்களே, என் வேதத்தை இருதயத்தில் பதித்திருக்கிற ஜனங்களே" என்று கூறி அழைக்கின்றார். ஆம் தேவனை மெய்யாக அறிந்தவர்கள் தேவனது நீதியை அறிந்திருப்பார்கள்;  காரணம் வேத வசனம் அவர்களது இருதயத்தில் பதிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும். 

ஆனால் அவர்கள் இந்த பொல்லாத உலகத்தில் வாழ்வதால் தங்களை அறியாமல் ஒருவித பயம் சிலவேளைகளில் அவர்களை மேற்கொண்டுவிடுகின்றது. சில வேளைகளில் வேலைசெய்யும் பணியிடங்களில் இந்த தேவ மக்களுக்கு எதிராகச்  சிலர் எழும்புவதுண்டு. அவர்கள் நிந்திக்கலாம், பல்வேறு தூஷண வார்த்தைகளை இவர்களுக்கு எதிராகக் கூறலாம். காரணம், தேவனை அறிந்தவர்கள் நீதியாக வாழ்வது அவர்களோடு பணிசெய்யும் அல்லது உடன்வாழும் மக்களுக்கு ஏற்றதாக இருக்காது.

உதாரணமாக, ஒரு அரசாங்க அலுவலகத்தில் பணிபுரியும் பணியாளர் ஒருவருக்கு லஞ்சம் வாங்கிட அதிக வாய்ப்பு இருக்கின்றது என்று வைத்துக்கொள்வோம், ஆனால், அவர் நீதி, நேர்மை எனப்பேசி லஞ்சத்துக்கு எதிராக இருப்பாரானால் அதே துறையில் அவரோடு பணிபுரியும் மற்றவர்களுக்கு அவரது செயல்பாடுகள் லஞ்சம் வாங்கிடத் தடையாக இருக்கும். எனவே அவர்கள் அந்த உண்மையுள்ள பணியாளனை நிந்தித்து தூஷண வார்த்தைகளைப் பேசுவார்களல்லவா?  

இத்தகைய இக்கட்டான சூழ்நிலையில் பணிபுரிபவர்களென்றால், உங்களைப்பார்த்துத் தேவன்கூறுகின்றார், "நீதியை அறிந்தவர்களே, என் வேதத்தை இருதயத்தில் பதித்திருக்கிற ஜனங்களே, எனக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்; மனுஷரின் நிந்தனைக்குப் பயப்படாமலும், அவர்கள் தூஷணங்களால் கலங்காமலும் இருங்கள்." என்று. 

இதே நிலைமையை  சில குடும்பங்களில் வாழ்க்கைப்பட்டுச் செல்லும் பெண்கள் சந்திக்க நேரிடலாம். மாமியார், நாத்தனார் ஏன் கணவன்கூட சில வேளைகளில்  நிந்தித்துத் தூஷண வார்த்தைகளைப் பேசலாம். ஆனால் தேவன் கூறுவதுபோல நாம் நமது நீதி நேர்மையை விட்டுவிடாமல் தேவன்மேல் விசுவாசத்தோடு வாழ்வோமானால் நமது துன்பத்தை அவர் மாற்றி மகிழ்ச்சிப்படுத்துவார். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் எல்லோருக்கும் பொதுவான வசனமல்ல; மாறாக தேவ நீதியை அறிந்த மக்களுக்கு மட்டுமே சொந்தமானது. எனவேதான்  "நீதியை அறிந்தவர்களே, என் வேதத்தை இருதயத்தில் பதித்திருக்கிற ஜனங்களே" என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் எல்லோரும் இந்த வசனத்தின்படி ஆசீர்வாதத்தைப் பெறவேண்டுமானால் நீதியை அறிந்தவர்களாக தேவ வார்த்தைகளை இருதயத்தில் பதித்தவர்களாக மாறவேண்டியது அவசியம். நீதியின் சூரியனாகிய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை நோக்கிப்பார்த்து பாவங்களை அறிக்கையிடும்போது அவரது  மன்னிப்பைப் பெற்று நீதியின் மக்களாக நாம் மாற முடியும்.  அப்படி நாம் மாறும்போது மனுஷரின் நிந்தனைக்குப் பயப்படாமலும், அவர்கள் தூஷணங்களால் கலங்காமலும் இருப்போம்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1673
AATHVAN – 06.09.2025, Saturday

"Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings." (Isaiah 51:7, KJV)

To those who know Him and live as His own, God gives comforting words through today’s meditation verse. He calls them, “ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law.” Yes, those who truly know God will know His righteousness, because His Word is written in their hearts.

Yet, living in this evil world, at times they may be overtaken by fear without realizing it. Sometimes in their workplaces, people may rise up against God’s children. They may mock, or speak many reproachful words against them. The reason is that living righteously before God does not please those who work or live alongside them.

For example, imagine an employee in a government office where there are many opportunities to take bribes. But if he stands for righteousness and honesty and refuses bribery, his very integrity becomes a hindrance to others who wish to take bribes. Naturally, those colleagues will begin to reproach and speak against that faithful worker.

In such difficult circumstances, God speaks to you: “Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.”

This same situation can be seen in families too, especially in the lives of women. A mother-in-law, sister-in-law, or even at times a husband, may reproach and speak hurtful words. But as God says, if we do not forsake our righteousness and honesty, and continue to live faithfully trusting Him, He will turn our sorrows into joy.

Today’s meditation verse is not a general word for all, but specifically for those who know the righteousness of God. That is why He says, “ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law.” Dearly beloved, if we wish to inherit this blessing, we must become those who know righteousness and have God’s Word engraved in our hearts. When we look unto Jesus Christ, the Sun of Righteousness, confess our sins, and receive His forgiveness, we can be transformed into the people of righteousness. Then, we will not fear the reproach of men, nor be shaken by their reviling.

🦋 Meditation verse - பிரசங்கி 9 : 3 / Ecclesiastes 9:3

"விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1672                                          ஆதவன் 05.09.2025 வெள்ளி       

"எல்லாருக்கும் ஒரேவிதமாய்ச் சம்பவிக்கிறது சூரியனுக்குக் கீழே நடக்கிறதெல்லாவற்றிலும் விசேஷித்த தீங்காம்; ஆதலால் மனுபுத்திரரின் இருதயம் தீமையினால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது; அவர்கள் உயிரோடிருக்கும் நாளளவும் அவர்கள் இருதயம் பைத்தியங்கொண்டிருந்து, பின்பு அவர்கள் செத்தவர்களிடத்திற்குப் போகிறார்கள்." ( பிரசங்கி 9 : 3 )

இந்த உலகத்தில் வாழும் எல்லா மனிதர்களுக்கும் எல்லா காரியங்களும் ஒருபோலவே நடைபெறுகின்றன. பிறப்பு, நோய்கள், விபத்துக்கள், துன்பங்கள், இறப்பு போன்ற அனைத்துக் காரியங்களும் அனைவருக்கும் பொதுவானவை. மதம், இனம், நாடு, ஜாதி பாகுபாடுகளைக் கடந்து இவை அனைவருக்கும் ஒன்றுபோலவே நடைபெறுகின்றன. பிரபலமானவர்கள் பிரபலமற்றவர்கள் என அனைத்து மனிதர்களுக்கும் இவை ஏற்படாமல் இருப்பதில்லை. மட்டுமல்ல, வெளிப்பார்வைக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருப்பவர்கள் எல்லோரும் நிஜவாழ்வில் அப்படி மகிழ்ச்சியை அனுபவிப்பவர்களுமல்ல. 

இப்படி எல்லோருக்கும் எல்லாம் ஒரேமாதிரி நடப்பதால் மனிதர்கள் தீமையினால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறார்கள் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது.   'நாம் நல்லவர்களாக வாழ்ந்து என்ன பயன்? எல்லோரையும்போல வாழ்ந்து நமது வாழ்வை முடித்துக்கொள்ளலாமே? என்று எண்ணுகின்றார்கள் மக்கள். இதனையே  "அவர்களது இருதயம் தீமையினால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது; அவர்கள் உயிரோடிருக்கும் நாளளவும் அவர்கள் இருதயம் பைத்தியங்கொண்டிருந்து, பின்பு அவர்கள் செத்தவர்களிடத்திற்குப் போகிறார்கள்" என்று வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

அதாவது, எல்லோருக்கும் நடைபெறுவதைப் பார்த்து மனிதர்கள் தெய்வபயமற்றவர்களாக மாறிவிடுகின்றனர். ஆனால், தேவனது பொதுவான நியமனம்  "எல்லாருக்கும் எல்லாம் ஒரேவிதமாய்ச் சம்பவிக்கும்; சன்மார்க்கனுக்கும் துன்மார்க்கனுக்கும், நற்குணமும் சுத்தமுமுள்ளவனுக்கும் சுத்தமில்லாதவனுக்கும், பலியிடுகிறவனுக்கும் பலியிடாதவனுக்கும், ஒரேவிதமாய்ச் சம்பவிக்கும்; நல்லவனுக்கு எப்படியோ பொல்லாதவனுக்கும் அப்படியே; ஆணையிடுகிறவனுக்கும் ஆணையிடப் பயப்படுகிறவனுக்கும் சமமாய்ச் சம்பவிக்கும்." ( பிரசங்கி 9 : 2 ) என்பதுதான். 

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் வெறும் உலக கண்ணோட்டமுடையவர்களாக வாழ்ந்தால் தவறான எண்ணம்கொண்டு இறுதியில் கடவுள் இருக்கின்றாரா? இல்லையா? எனும் சந்தேக படுகுழிக்குள் விழுந்துவிடுவோம். "தேவன் செய்யும் சகல கிரியைகளையும் நான் கவனித்துப்பார்த்து, சூரியனுக்குக்கீழே செய்யப்படும் கிரியையை மனுஷன் கண்டுபிடிக்கக்கூடாதென்று கண்டேன். அதை அறியும்படி மனுஷன் பிரயாசப்பட்டாலும் அறியமாட்டான்; அதை அறியலாம் என்று ஞானி எண்ணினாலும் அவனும் அதை அறிந்துகொள்ளமாட்டான்." ( பிரசங்கி 8 : 17 ) என்கின்றார் பிரசங்கி. 

ஆனால்,  புதிய ஏற்பாட்டின் காலத்தில் வாழும் நாம் ஆவியின் பிரமாணத்துக்குள் வந்துவிடுவதால்  தேவன் ஆவிக்குரிய கண்ணோட்டத்துடன் இவைகளைப் பார்க்க நமக்கு அறிவைத்தருகின்றார். எனவே இவைகளை நாம் ஓரளவு புரிந்துகொள்ள முடியும். "நாங்களோ உலகத்தின் ஆவியைப் பெறாமல், தேவனால் எங்களுக்கு அருளப்பட்டவைகளை அறியும்படிக்கு தேவனிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிற ஆவியையே பெற்றோம்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 2 : 12 ) என்று அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் கூறுவதன்படி தேவனது ஆவியினால் நாம் இப்படி மனிதர்களது வாழ்வில் நடைபெறும் எதிர்மறையான காரியங்களின் காரணங்களையும் புரிந்துகொள்ளமுடியும். 

ஆனால், "ஜென்மசுபாவமான மனுஷனோ தேவனுடைய ஆவிக்குரியவைகளை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளான்; அவைகள் அவனுக்குப் பைத்தியமாகத் தோன்றும்; அவைகள் ஆவிக்கேற்றபிரகாரமாய் ஆராய்ந்து நிதானிக்கப்படுகிறவைகளானதால், அவைகளை அறியவுமாட்டான்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 2 : 14 )

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, எல்லாருக்கும் எல்லாம் ஒரேவிதமாய்ச் சம்பவித்தாலும் அதுகுறித்து நாம் நிலைதடுமாறவேண்டாம். ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் தொடர்ந்து உறுதியாக இருப்போம்.  அப்படிச்  சில எதிர்மறையானச்  செயல்கள் நடைபெறுவதன் ஆவிக்குரிய காரணத்தை நாம் தேவனுடைய ஆவியினால் நடத்தப்படும்போது மட்டுமே  தெளிவாகப் புரிந்துகொள்ள முடியும். அத்தகைய ஆவியின் வழிநடத்தலை பெற்றிட விரும்பி வேண்டுவோம்; தேவன் அதனைத் தந்து நம்மை வழிநடத்துவார்.

"Inside the Seeds" 🌳

Scripture Meditation No. 1672
AATHAVAN – 05.09.2025, Friday

“This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.” (Ecclesiastes 9:3 KJV)

In this world, all things happen alike to all people. Birth, sickness, accidents, sufferings, and death are common to everyone. Beyond the barriers of religion, race, nationality, and caste, these experiences come to all alike. Neither the famous nor the unknown are exempt from them. Moreover, those who appear outwardly joyful do not necessarily experience true joy in their real lives.

Because everything seems to happen the same to all, today’s verse tells us that the heart of man is filled with evil. People begin to think: “What is the use of living righteously? We might as well live like everyone else and finish our life that way.” Thus, the Scripture declares: “The heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.”

In other words, observing that all face the same events, men lose the fear of God. Yet God’s decree is clear: “All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath.” (Ecclesiastes 9:2 KJV)

Therefore, beloved, if we live only with a worldly outlook, we will be led into wrong thoughts and finally fall into the pit of doubting whether God truly exists. The Preacher himself says: “Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea further; though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it.” (Ecclesiastes 8:17 KJV)

But in the New Testament age, having come under the law of the Spirit, God grants us spiritual understanding to see these things from His perspective. Thus, we can perceive them to some extent. As Paul declares: “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:12 KJV). Through the Spirit of God, we are able to understand even the reasons behind the negative experiences in human life.

On the other hand, “The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (1 Corinthians 2:14 KJV)

So, beloved, though all things seem to happen alike to all, let us not be shaken. Let us remain steadfast in our spiritual walk. Only when we are led by the Spirit of God can we clearly understand the spiritual reasons behind certain negative happenings in life. Let us therefore long and pray for such leading of the Spirit; and God will surely grant it and guide us.
