அசட்டைப்பண்ணப்பட்டவரும், புறக்கணிக்கப்பட்டவரும் / DESPISED AND REJECTED

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,145    💚 மார்ச் 29, 2024 💚 வெள்ளிக்கிழமை 💚

"அவர் அசட்டைப்பண்ணப்பட்டவரும், மனுஷரால் புறக்கணிக்கப்பட்டவரும், துக்கம் நிறைந்தவரும், பாடு அநுபவித்தவருமாயிருந்தார்; அவரைவிட்டு, நம்முடைய முகங்களை மறைத்துக்கொண்டோம்; அவர் அசட்டைபண்ணப்பட்டிருந்தார்; அவரை எண்ணாமற்போனோம்." ( ஏசாயா 53 : 3 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தை ஏசாயா தீர்க்கத்தரிசி எழுதி சுமார் 2750 ஆண்டுகள் ஆகிவிட்டன. நமது கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் பாடுகளை தரிசனத்தில் கண்டு அவர் எழுதியவை இந்த வசனங்கள். இதனை நாம் கிறிஸ்து 2000 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு அனுபவித்த பாடுகளோடு இன்று ஒப்பிட்டுப் பார்க்கின்றோம். ஆனால், அவர் அன்று  அனுபவித்தப் பாடுகளுக்கு மட்டுமல்ல, கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொண்டாலும்  யூதர்களைப்போல பலவேளைகளில் நாம் அவரை அசட்டைப்பண்ணி புறக்கணிக்கின்ற நிலைகளுக்கும் இதனை  ஒப்பிடலாம். .  

ஆம், அவர் இரண்டாயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு மட்டும் அசட்டைப்பண்ணப்படவில்லை. இன்றும்  அசட்டைப் பண்ணப்பட்டவராகவே இருக்கின்றார். கிறிஸ்துவின் போதனைகள் வாழ்வில் கடைபிடிக்கக்கூடிய தன்மை உள்ளவையல்ல என்று கூறும்போது நாம் அவரை அசட்டைபண்ணுகின்றோம். சாட்சிக்கேடான வாழ்க்கை மற்றும்  கிறிஸ்தவ மூல உபதேசத்தை மறுத்து அல்லது அவற்றுக்கு எதிரான சுவிசேஷ அறிவிப்புகள் செய்யும்போது அவரை நாம் அசட்டைபண்ணுகின்றோம்; அல்லது புறக்கணிக்கின்றோம். 

வெறும் சமுதாய மாற்றத்துக்காக ஒரு சமூக சேவகனாக கிறிஸ்து உலகினில் வந்தார் என்று பிரசங்கிக்கும்போது நாம் அவரை புறக்கணித்து அசட்டைப் பண்ணுகின்றோம்.  விடுதலை இறையியல் என்று கூறி கிறிஸ்துவின் ஆன்மீக போதனைகளை திரித்து கம்யூனிச சித்தாந்தங்களோடு ஒப்பிட்டு உபதேசிக்கும்போது,  மனம்திரும்பி கிறிஸ்துவை வாழ்வில் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள மறுக்கும்போது நாம் அவரைப் புறக்கணித்து அசட்டைபண்ணுகின்றோம். எல்லாவற்றுக்கும் மேலாக, இவை எவற்றையும் உணராமல் துக்க வெள்ளிக்கிழமைகளில் மட்டும் அவருக்காக அழுது புலம்பும்போது நாம் அவரைப் புறக்கணித்து அசட்டைப் பண்ணுகின்றோம். 

இவற்றையே, "அவரைவிட்டு, நம்முடைய முகங்களை மறைத்துக்கொண்டோம்" என்று ஏசாயா கூறுகின்றார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, "அவர் மனுஷரால் புறக்கணிக்கப்பட்டவரும், துக்கம் நிறைந்தவரும், பாடு அநுபவித்தவருமாயிருந்தார்; அவரைவிட்டு, நம்முடைய முகங்களை மறைத்துக்கொண்டோம்; அவர் அசட்டைபண்ணப்பட்டிருந்தார்; அவரை எண்ணாமற்போனோம்." என்பது இன்றும் நடந்துகொண்டிருக்கின்ற காரியமாக இருக்கின்றது. 

அவர் நமக்காக இரத்தம் சிந்தி மரித்து நித்திய ஜீவனுக்கான வழியினைக் காட்டியதை மறுத்து இன்னும் உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்காக அவரை நாம் தேடி ஓடும்போது அவர் மனுஷரால் புறக்கணிக்கப்பட்டவரும், துக்கம் நிறைந்தவரும், பாடு அநுபவிப்பவருமாக இருக்கிறார்.  காரணம், நமக்காக ஆத்தும தாகம் கொண்டு இருக்கும் அவரது மெய்யான அன்பை நாம்  எண்ணாமற்போகின்றோம். 

நம்மைப் பரிசுத்தம் பண்ணவே கிறிஸ்து பாடுபட்டு மரித்தார். அவரது இரத்தத்தால் நித்திய மீட்பினை ஏற்படுத்தினார்.  நமது பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்படவேண்டுமானால் அவற்றைச் சுமந்து நாம் அவரிடம் சென்று சேரவேண்டும். இதனைச் செய்யாமல் ஆண்டுதோறும் வெறும் ஆராதனைகளும் வெற்றுச்  சடங்கு ஆச்சாரங்களையும் கடைபிடித்துக்கொண்டிருப்பதால் எந்தப் பயனும் இல்லை. அப்படிச்செய்வது அவரைப் புறக்கணித்து அசட்டைப் பண்ணுவதையே குறிக்கும். 

எனவேதான் எபிரேய நிருப ஆசிரியர், "அந்தப்படியே, இயேசுவும் தம்முடைய சொந்த இரத்தத்தினாலே ஜனத்தைப் பரிசுத்தஞ்செய்யும்படியாக நகர வாசலுக்குப் புறம்பே பாடுபட்டார். ஆகையால், நாம் அவருடைய நிந்தையைச் சுமந்து, பாளயத்துக்குப் புறம்பே அவரிடத்திற்குப் புறப்பட்டுப் போகக்கடவோம்." ( எபிரெயர் 13 : 12, 13 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் அவருடைய நிந்தையைச் சுமந்து, பாளயத்துக்குப் புறம்பே அவரிடத்திற்குப் புறப்பட்டுப் போகக்கடவோம். பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட்ட நிச்சயத்தை பெற்று புது வாழ்வு பெறுவோம்.

                DESPISED AND REJECTED  

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,145    💚 March 29, 2024 💚 Friday 💚

"He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not." (Isaiah 53:3)

It has been about 2750 years since the prophet Isaiah wrote today's meditation verse. These verses were written by him after seeing the sufferings of our Lord Jesus Christ in a vision. We compare this today with the sufferings of Christ 2000 years ago. However, this can be compared not only to the sufferings he experienced that day, but also to the situations where we, like the Jews, ignore him even though we claim to be Christians.

Yes, he wasn't just shunned two thousand years ago. Even today, he remains a disgraced person. We insult Christ when we say that his teachings are not practical. We despise him when we deny or make evangelical declarations against the life of witness and Christian original teaching; Or ignore it.

When we preach that Christ came into the world as a social worker just for the sake of social change, we ignore him. When we preach by distorting the spiritual teachings of Christ and comparing them with communist ideologies under the name of liberation theology, when we turn our hearts and refuse to accept Christ in our lives, we ignore him. Above all, we neglect Him when we mourn for Him only on Good Fridays without realizing any of these.

Of these, says Isaiah, “we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not." Yes, beloved, he was forsaken of men, sorrowful, and afflicted; from him we hid our faces; he was despised; we counted him not." It is something that is still going on today.

He is neglected by men, sorrowful, and suffering when we run to Him for worldly blessings, denying that He shed His blood, died for us, and showed us the way to eternal life. We ignore him.

Christ suffered and died to make us holy. He made eternal redemption through His blood. If we want our sins to be forgiven, we should carry them and confess them to Him. Without doing this, there is no use in observing mere prayers and empty rituals year after year. By doing so, we are ignoring him.

That is why the author of Hebrews said, “And so Jesus, also, to purify the people by his own blood, suffered outside the gate. Therefore, let us go out to him ‘outside the camp,’ bearing the same reproaches as he (Hebrews 13:12, 13). Yea, beloved, let us bear his reproach and go forth unto him outside the camp. We will receive the assurance that our sins are forgiven, and we will receive a new life.

யூதர்களின் மேன்மை / THE SUPREMACY OF THE JEWS

"கர்த்தரைத் தங்களுக்குத் தெய்வமாகக்கொண்ட ஜாதியும், அவர் தமக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகத் தெரிந்துகொண்ட ஜனமும் பாக்கியமுள்ளது." ( சங்கீதம் 33 : 12 )

ஒரு அரசாங்கம் ஒருவரை வெளிநாட்டிற்கு தனது தூதுவராகத் (Ambassador) தேர்வு செய்கின்றது என்றால் அது அவருக்கு ஒரு பெரிய கெளரவம். இப்படி தனது தூதுவரை தேர்வு செய்து பிற நாடுளில் பதவியில் அமர்த்துகின்றது உலக அரசாங்கம். இப்படித் தேர்வு செய்யப்படும் நபருக்கு அந்த நாட்டில் உள்ள அனைத்துச் செலவுகளையும் அரசாங்கமே செய்யும். பல சலுகைகளும் வழங்கும். ஆனால் அந்த நபர் அரசாங்கத்துக்கு விசுவாசமுள்ளவராக, உண்மையுள்ளவராக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். இல்லையானால் சட்டப்படி அவர் தண்டிக்கப்படுவர்.

இதுபோலவே தனது பிரதிநிதியாகத் தேவன் தெரிந்துகொண்ட மக்கள்தான் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள். உலகினில் பல்வேறு மக்கள் இனங்கள் இருந்தாலும் தேவன் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களைத் தனது தூதுவர்களாகக் குறிப்பாகத் தேர்வு செய்தார். அது உண்மையிலேயே யூதர்களுக்கு ஒரு மேன்மையான காரியம்தான். அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் இதுபற்றி கூறும்போது, "இப்படியானால், யூதனுடைய மேன்மை என்ன? விருத்தசேதனத்தினாலே பிரயோஜனம் என்ன? அது எவ்விதத்திலும் மிகுதியாயிருக்கிறது; தேவனுடைய வாக்கியங்கள் அவர்களிடத்தில் ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்டது விசேஷித்த மேன்மையாமே." ( ரோமர் 3 : 2 )

தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைகள் யூதர்களிடம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டது மேன்மையான காரியம்தான். விலையேறப்பெற்றப் பொருட்களை நம்பிக்கையானவர்களிடம்தான் ஒப்படைப்பார்கள். தேவனும் அதுபோலத் தனது விலையேறப்பெற்ற வார்த்தைகளை யூதர்களிடம் ஒப்படைத்தார். மெய்யாகவே தேவன் தமக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகத் தெரிந்துகொண்ட யூதஜனம் பாக்கியமுள்ளது.

அன்பானவர்களே, இன்றைய உலகினில் வேதம் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் மேல் விசுவாசம்கொண்ட நம்மைத்தான் யூதர்கள் என்று குறிப்பிடுகின்றது (ரோமர் 2:28,29). நாம்தான் ஆவிக்குரிய யூதர்கள். எனவே நாம் தான் பாக்கியமுள்ளவர்கள்.

அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு கூறுகின்றார், "நீங்களோ, உங்களை அந்தகாரத்தினின்று தம்முடைய ஆச்சரியமான ஒளியினிடத்திற்கு வரவழைத்தவருடைய புண்ணியங்களை அறிவிக்கும்படிக்குத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட சந்ததியாயும், ராஜரீகமான ஆசாரியக்கூட்டமாயும், பரிசுத்த ஜாதியாயும், அவருக்குச் சொந்தமான ஜனமாயும் இருக்கிறீர்கள்." ( 1 பேதுரு 2 : 9 )

ஆனால் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் குறிப்பிட்டதுபோல அதிகம் கொடுக்கப்பட்டவனிடம் அதிகம் கேட்கப்படும் என்பதை நாம் மறந்துவிடக்கூடாது. யூதர்கள் தேவனது வார்தைகளைப் பெற்றிருந்தாலும் அவர்கள் தேவனுக்கு விரோதமான பாவம் செய்தபோது தேவன் அவர்களைக் கடுமையாகத் தண்டித்தார். பிற ராஜாக்களிடம் அடிமைகளாக ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார். இதுவே இன்றைய ஆவிக்குரிய யூதர்களாகிய நமக்கும் பொருந்தும்.

தனது விலையேறப்பெற்ற இரட்சிப்பை நமக்குத் தந்து நம்மை அலங்கரித்த தேவன் அதனை நாம் காத்துக்கொள்ளத் தவறினால் கடுமையாக நம்மைத் தண்டிப்பார் என்பதனையும் மறந்துவிடக் கூடாது. எனவே நாம் மற்றவர்களைவிட அதிக கவனமுள்ளவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டும். பெற்றுக்கொண்ட இரட்சிப்பைக் கவனமுடன் காத்துக்கொள்வோம். ஏனெனில், "கர்த்தர் பெரியவரும், மிகவும் ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கப்படத் தக்கவருமாயிருக்கிறார்; எல்லா தேவர்களிலும் பயப்படத்தக்கவர் அவரே". ( சங்கீதம் 96 : 4 ) என்று வேதம் கூறுகின்றது. தேவன் நமக்கு தகப்பனாக இருந்தாலும் அவர் பட்சிக்கிற அக்கினியாகவும் இருக்கின்றார் என்ற உண்மையினை நாம் மறந்துவிடாமல் கவனமுடன் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வைத் தொடர்வோம்.

            THE SUPREMACY OF THE JEWS

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, and the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.” (Psalms 33:12)

It is a great honour for a man if the government chooses him as its ambassador to a foreign country. In this way, the world government chooses its ambassadors and appoints them in other countries. The government will bear all the expenses of the selected person in that country. Many special privileges will also be offered to that man. Hence, that person must be loyal and faithful to the government. Otherwise, he will be punished according to the law.

Similarly, the people of Israel are the people chosen by God as His representatives. Although there are many different peoples in the world, God specifically chose the people of Israel as His messengers. It is indeed a great thing for the Jews. When the apostle Paul says about this, “What advantage then hath the Jew? Or what profit is there from circumcision? Much every way: chiefly, because unto them were committed the oracles of God.” (Romans 3:1, 2)

It was a privilege for Jews that God's words were entrusted to them. We usually hand over expensive goods to those we trust. Likewise, God entrusted His precious words to the Jews. Blessed indeed is the Jew, whom God has chosen for his own inheritance.

Beloved, in today's world, the scriptures refer to us as Jews who have faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 2:28–29). We are spiritual Jews. So, we are the blessed ones.

The apostle Peter says, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.” (1 Peter 2:9)

But we must not forget that to whom much is given, much will be asked, as Jesus Christ said. Even though the Jews received God's words, God punished them severely when they sinned against God. He submitted to other kings as slaves. The same applies to us spiritual Jews today.

We should not forget that God, who has adorned us with His precious salvation, will punish us severely if we fail to keep it. So, we should be more careful than others. Let us carefully guard the salvation we have received. “For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods.” (Psalms 96:4) says the scriptures. Let us continue our spiritual life carefully without forgetting the fact that God is our Father, but He is also a consuming fire.

தேசத்துக்காக ஜெபிப்போம் / PRAY FOR OUR COUNTRY

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,143      💚 மார்ச் 27, 2024 💚 புதன்கிழமை 💚

"மேலும், பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்கு ஏற்றபடி, வேசித்தனமும், மற்றெந்த அசுத்தமும், பொருளாசையும் ஆகிய இவைகளின் பேர்முதலாய் உங்களுக்குள்ளே சொல்லப்படவுங்கூடாது." ( எபேசியர் 5 : 3 )

தேவன் அருவெறுக்கும் பாவங்களில் முதன்மையானது விபச்சாரம், வேசித்தனம் மற்றும் பாலியல் தொடர்பான பாவங்களும் சிலைவழிபாடும் தான். சிலைவழிபாடு என்று கூறும்போது நாம் அளவுக்கதிகமான  பொருளாசையும் சேர்த்தே கூறுகின்றோம். எகிப்தியர்களை தேவன் வெறுத்து அவர்களுக்குமுன் இஸ்ரவேலரை உயர்த்தக் காரணம் எகிப்தியரின் இத்தகைய பாவச் செயல்களே. இதனை நாம் லேவியராகமத்தில் வாசிக்கலாம். (லேவியராகமம் 20 ஆம் அதிகாரம்)

அவர்களது பல்வேறு பாலியல் பாவங்களைக் குறிப்பிட்டு கூறி தேவன் கூறுகின்றார், "நான் உங்களுக்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்திவிடுகிற ஜனத்தினுடைய வழிபாடுகளில் நடவாதிருங்கள்; அவர்கள் இப்படிப்பட்ட காரியங்களையெல்லாம் செய்தபடியால் நான் அவர்களை அரோசித்தேன்." ( லேவியராகமம் 20 : 23 ) ஆம் இத்தகைய பாவங்களில் அவர்கள் ஈடுபட்டதால் அவர்களை அருவெறுத்தேன் என்கின்றார் தேவன். 

எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் தொடர்ந்து எழுதும்போது, "விபசாரக்காரனாவது, அசுத்தனாவது, விக்கிரகாராதனைக்காரனாகிய பொருளாசைக்காரனாவது தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யமாகிய கிறிஸ்துவின் ராஜ்யத்திலே சுதந்தரமடைவதில்லையென்று அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்களே." ( எபேசியர் 5 : 5 ) என்கின்றார். 

பொருளாசை சிலைவழிபாட்டுக்கு இணையான பாவமாக இருக்கின்றது. சிலை வழிபாடு என்பது ஒரு உருவத்தைச் செய்து அதனைத் தேவனாக வழிபடுவது. பொருளாசை என்பது அதுபோல பொருள், பணம் இவற்றை தேவனுக்கு இணையாகக் கருத்துவதாகும். 

"இவைகளின் பேர்முதலாய் உங்களுக்குள்ளே சொல்லப்படவுங்கூடாது." என்று பவுல் கூறுவதிலிருந்து அவர் இவற்றுக்கு எவ்வளவு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுக்கின்றார் என்பது தெளிவாகின்றது. ஆனால் நமது நாடு எப்படி இருக்கின்றது?

இந்தியா மிகப்பெரிய ஆன்மீக நாடு என்று பலர்  நமது நாட்டைக் குறித்துக் கூறிக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றார்கள். ஆனால் தேவன் விரும்பும் நற்செயல்கள் எதுவுமே இங்கு நடக்கவில்லை.   சிலை வழிபாடுகளும், விபச்சாரங்களும், வேசித்தனங்களும் பொருளாசையால் உந்தப்பட்டுச் செய்யப்படும் கொலைகளும் நமது நாட்டில் நிறைந்திருப்பதை தினசரி பத்திரிகைகளில் வெளிவரும் செய்திகள் பறைசாற்றுகின்றன. இவை அன்று எகிப்தியர் செய்த அருவெறுப்பான செயல்களுக்கு ஒத்திருக்கின்றன. 

"நான் உங்களுக்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்திவிடுகிற ஜனத்தினுடைய வழிபாடுகளில் நடவாதிருங்கள்; அவர்கள் இப்படிப்பட்ட காரியங்களையெல்லாம் செய்தபடியால் நான் அவர்களை அரோசித்தேன்." என்று எகித்துக்கு எதிராகக் கூறியதுபோலவே தேவன் நமது நாட்டைக்குறித்தும் கூறுவார். 

ஆனால், கிறிஸ்தவ ஊழியர்களில் ஒருகூட்டத்தினர் இவை எதையுமே எண்ணாமல் ஆசீர்வாத உபதேசத்தில் மூழ்கி மீண்டும் மீண்டும் பொருளாசை எனும் விக்கிரக ஆராதனைக்கு நேராக மக்களை நடத்திக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர். ஒரே வேதாகமத்தைத்தான் தேவன் நமக்குக் கொடுத்துள்ளார். ஆனால் வசனங்களுக்கு ஆவியானவர் தரும் விளக்கத்தை அறியாமல் சுய அறிவு போதனையால் கிறிஸ்தவ  ஊழியங்கள் நடைபெற்றுக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றன. 

அன்பானவர்களே எச்சரிக்கையாயாக இருப்போம். "விபசாரக்காரனாவது, அசுத்தனாவது, விக்கிரகாராதனைக்காரனாகிய பொருளாசைக்காரனாவது தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யமாகிய கிறிஸ்துவின் ராஜ்யத்திலே சுதந்தரமடைவதில்லை." ( எபேசியர் 5 : 5 ) என்கின்றார் பரிசுத்தரான கர்த்தர். மட்டுமல்ல, இத்தகைய பாவங்களால் இருளடைந்துள்ள நமது நாடு கிறிஸ்துவின் ஒளியைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள ஜெபிப்போம்.

                PRAY FOR OUR COUNTRY

"But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints." (Ephesians 5:3)

Fornication, sexual sins, and idolatry are among the sins that God hates the most. When we say idolatry, we also mean excessive materialism. The reason why God hated the Egyptians and exalted the Israelites before them was because of such sinful acts by the Egyptians. We can read this in Leviticus. (Leviticus, chapter 20)

Referring to their various sexual sins, God says, "And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you, for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them." (Leviticus 20:23) Yes, God says that He hated them because they were involved in such sins.

That is why the apostle Paul continued to write, "For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God." (Ephesians 5:5)

Materialism is a sin equal to idolatry. Idolatry is making an image and worshipping it as a god. Materialism also means to equate material and money with God.

“Let it not be named among you,” Paul says. Hence, it is clear how much importance he attaches to these things. But how about our country?

Many people say that India is the most spiritual country. But none of the good works that God wants are done here. Daily press reports reveal that idolatry, adultery, prostitution, and greed-driven murders abound in our country. These correspond to the abominations of the Egyptians that day.

"And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you, for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them." God will say the same about our country as He said about Egypt.

But a group of Christian ministers, regardless of this, immerse themselves in the preaching of blessings and repeatedly lead people straight to the idolatry of materialism. God has given us only one scripture. But Christian ministries are being carried out by self-knowledge teaching without knowing the interpretation that the Spirit gives to the verses.

Be careful, dear ones. “No whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God." (Ephesians 5:5), says the Holy Lord. Not only that, let us pray that our country, darkened by such sins, may receive the light of Christ.

முன்மாரியும் பின்மாரியும் / RAIN, BOTH THE FORMER AND THE LATTER

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,142       💚 மார்ச் 26, 2024 💚 செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை 💚

"அந்தந்தப் பருவத்திலே எங்களுக்கு மழையையும், முன்மாரியையும் பின்மாரியையும் கொடுத்து, அறுப்புக்கு நியமித்த வாரங்களை எங்களுக்குத் தற்காக்கிற எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்திருப்போம் என்று அவர்கள் தங்கள் இருதயத்திலே சொல்லுகிறதில்லை." ( எரேமியா 5 : 24 )

தேவனே ஏற்ற காலத்தில் மழையையும் பனியையும் பூமியில் அனுப்புகின்றார். பயிர்களின் அறுப்புக்காலங்களையும் அவரே ஏற்றவாறு நியமிக்கின்றார். ஆனால் பெரும்பாலான மனிதர்கள் இவை எதையும் தங்கள் மனதில் சிந்திப்பதில்லை. அவர்கள் தங்கள் உழைப்புதான் விளைச்சலின் ஆசீர்வாதத்தைத் தந்தது என எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். நாம் எவ்வளவுதான் உழைத்தாலும் தேவனது கரம் இல்லையானால் நமக்கு வெற்றி கிடைக்காது எனும் உண்மையை அவர்கள் உணருவதில்லை.

இன்றைய வசனம் இதனால்தான் கூறுகின்றது, "எங்களுக்குத் தற்காக்கிற எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்திருப்போம் என்று அவர்கள் தங்கள் இருதயத்திலே சொல்லுகிறதில்லை." அதாவது இந்த ஆசீர்வாதங்களைத் தந்த தேவனுக்கு நன்றியுள்ளவர்களாக மக்கள் வாழ்வதில்லை. அவரது கட்டளைகளுக்குப் பயந்து கீழ்படிவதும் இல்லை. (எல்லோரும் இப்படி இருப்பதில்லை ஆனால் பெரும்பான்மையோர் இப்படியே இருக்கின்றனர்.)

பல வேளைகளில் புயலும் மழையும் ஏற்பட்டு பயிர்களின் விளைச்சல் அழிவுறுவதை நாம் பார்க்கின்றோம். விவசாயிகள் தங்கள் முதலீடு அழிந்ததையெண்ணிக் கலங்குகின்றனர். சிலர் கடவுளை சபிக்கின்றனர். சிலவேளைகளில் விவசாயிகள் தற்கொலைசெய்து தங்களை மாய்த்துக்கொள்கின்றனர்.

விவசாயம் மட்டுமல்ல, நாம் செய்யும் அனைத்துச் செயல்களிலும் நம்மோடு தேவனது கரம் இருந்தால் மட்டுமே நாம் ஆசீர்வாதம் பெற முடியும். "கர்த்தரின் ஆசீர்வாதமே ஐசுவரியத்தைத் தரும்; அதனோடே அவர் வேதனையைக் கூட்டார்." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 10 : 22 ) என்று வேத வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. தேவனது ஆசீர்வாதம் என்பது பரிபூரண ஆசீர்வாதமாக இருக்கும்; அதில் வேதனை இருக்காது.

சிலரது வாழ்வில் அனைத்துச் செல்வங்களையும் அவர்கள் பெற்றிருந்தாலும் வீட்டில் நிம்மதி இருக்காது. காரணம், செல்வத்தின் திரட்சி மனநிம்மதியைத் தருவதில்லை. எனவேதான் வேதம் கூறுகின்றது, "தேவன் ஐசுவரியத்தையும் சம்பத்தையும் எவனுக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறாரோ, அவன் அதிலே புசிக்கவும், தன்பங்கைப் பெறவும், தன் பிரயாசத்திலே மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருக்கவும் அவனுக்கு அதிகாரம் அளிப்பது தேவனுடைய அநுக்கிரகம்."( பிரசங்கி 5 : 19 )

அன்பானவர்களே, "சஞ்சலத்தோடு கூடிய அதிகப்பொருளிலும் கர்த்தரைப் பற்றும் பயத்தோடு கூடிய கொஞ்சப்பொருளே உத்தமம்." (  நீதிமொழிகள் 15 : 16 ). எனவே தேவன் தரும் ஈவுகள் எவ்வளவு குறைவானதாக இருந்தாலும் அவருக்கு நன்றியுள்ளவர்களாய் இருப்போம். நமக்கு வாழ்வில் மழையையும், முன்மாரியையும் பின்மாரியையும் கொடுத்து, நம்மைத் தற்காக்கிற தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு நன்றியுள்ளவர்களாய் இருப்போம்; பயந்திருப்போம்; அப்போது அவர் நம்மை உண்மையான மகிழ்ச்சியால் நிரப்புவார்.

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,142    💚 March 26, 2024 💚 Tuesday 💚

“Neither say they in their hearts; let us now fear the LORD our God, who giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season; he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.” (Jeremiah 5:24)

God sends rain and snow on the earth in due season. He also appoints the harvesting seasons of the crops accordingly. But most people do not have any of these things in their minds. They consider their labour to be the blessing of the harvest. They do not realise the fact that no matter how hard we work, we will not succeed without God's hand.

This is why today's verse says, “Neither say they in their hearts; let us now fear the LORD our God, who giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season.” It means that people do not live grateful to God, who gave these blessings. There is no fear or disobedience to his commands. (Not all are like this, but the majority are.)

Many times, we see storms and rains, and crop yields are destroyed. Farmers are worried that their investment has been destroyed. Some curse God. Sometimes farmers commit suicide.

Only if God's hand is with us can we be blessed in everything we do, not just farming. “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.” (Proverbs 10:22) says the scriptures. God's blessing will be a perfect blessing. There will be no pain in it.

Some people have all the wealth in their lives, but there is no peace at home. The reason is that the accumulation of wealth does not bring peace of mind. That is why the Bible says, “Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.” (Ecclesiastes 5:19)

Beloved, “Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith.” (Proverbs 15:16) So let us be grateful to God, no matter how little the gifts He gives us. Let us be grateful to the Lord God, who gives us rain in life, both the former and the latter, in his season. Let's be afraid. Then He will fill us with true joy.

கிறிஸ்தவம் மதமல்ல / CHRISTIANITY IS NOT RELIGION

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,141       💚 மார்ச் 25, 2024 💚 திங்கள்கிழமை 💚

"நியாயப்பிரமாணமில்லாமல் தேவநீதி வெளியாக்கப் பட்டிருக்கிறது; அதைக்குறித்து நியாயப்பிரமாணமும் தீர்க்கதரிசனங்களும் சாட்சியிடுகிறது. அது இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தினாலே பலிக்கும் தேவநீதியே; விசுவாசிக்கிற எவர்களுக்குள்ளும் எவர்கள்மேலும் அது பலிக்கும், வித்தியாசமே இல்லை." ( ரோமர் 3 : 21, 22 )

இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் கடைபிடிக்கவேண்டிய கட்டளைகளை தேவன் மோசே மூலம் கொடுத்தார். பத்துக் கட்டளைகளைத் தவிர மேலும் பல கட்டளைகளாக 613 கட்டளைகள் அடங்கியதுதான் நியாயப்பிரமாணம். மனிதர்கள் நீதியாக வாழ்வதற்காக இவை கொடுக்கப்பட்டன. ஆனால் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், இந்த நியாயப்பிராமாணக் கட்டளைகள்  இல்லாமலேயே தேவ நீதி கிறிஸ்துவினால் உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது என்று குறிப்பிடுகின்றார். 

அதாவது, பத்துக்கட்டளைகள் முதலான கட்டளைகள் இல்லாமலேயே கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் விசுவாசம்கொள்ளும் ஒருவன் இவைகளைக் கடைபிடிப்பான் என்று கூறுகின்றார். அதனையே, "நியாயப்பிரமாணமில்லாமல் தேவநீதி வெளியாக்கப் பட்டிருக்கிறது" என்கின்றார். "அது இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தினாலே பலிக்கும் தேவநீதியே; விசுவாசிக்கிற எவர்களுக்குள்ளும் எவர்கள்மேலும் அது பலிக்கும், வித்தியாசமே இல்லை." என்கின்றார். 

அதாவது, கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் விசுவாசம்கொண்டு ஒருவன் பாவ மன்னிப்பினைப் பெறும்போது அவனுக்குள் கிறிஸ்துவின் ஆவியானவர் வந்துவிடுகின்றார். அந்த ஆவியானவரே அவனை தேவனுடைய நீதிப்பாதையில் நடத்துவார். அந்த மனிதனுக்கு கட்டளைகள் தேவையில்லை. ஆம், கட்டளைகள் இல்லாமலேயே அவன் கட்டளைக்குட்பட்டு நடப்பான். 

 

"ஆதலால், மனுஷன் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் கிரியைகளில்லாமல் விசுவாசத்தினாலேயே நீதிமானாக்கப்படுகிறான் என்று தீர்க்கிறோம்." ( ரோமர் 3 : 28 ) என்கின்றார். 

கிறிஸ்துவின் நீதிப்பிரமாணம் நியாயப்பிரமாண கட்டளைகளைவிட மேலானது. அதனை கிறிஸ்து பல இடங்களில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார். "........என்று பூர்வத்தாருக்கு உரைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதே, நான் உங்களுக்குத் சொல்கின்றேன்" என்று குறிப்பிட்டு அவர் பல பழைய ஏற்பாட்டுக் கட்டளைகளுக்குப் புது மெருகேற்றினார். (காண்க;- மத்தேயு 5 : 21, 28, 32, 34, 39, 44. முதலானவைகள்) 

எனவே யூதர்கள் அவர் நியாயப்பிரமாண கட்டளைகளுக்கு எதிரி என்று எண்ணினார்கள். அவர்களுக்கு இதனைத் தெளிவுபடுத்தவே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, தனது மலைப் பிரசங்கத்தில்,  "நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தையாகிலும்  தீர்க்கதரிசனங்களையாகிலும் அழிக்கிறதற்கு வந்தேன் என்று எண்ணிக்கொள்ளாதேயுங்கள்; அழிக்கிறதற்கு அல்ல, நிறைவேற்றுகிறதற்கே வந்தேன்." ( மத்தேயு 5 : 17 ) என்று குறிப்பிடுகின்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நியாயப்பிரமாண கட்டளைகளை வரட்டுத்தனமாகக் கடைபிடிப்பதால் மட்டும்  நாம் கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு ஏற்றவர்கள் ஆகமுடியாது. கிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தினால் நமது உள்ளங்கள் மறுபிறப்படையும்போது மட்டுமே நாம் நீதியுள்ள ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழ முடியும். இப்படிக் கூறுவதால் நியாயப்பிரமாண கட்டளைகளை நாம் அற்பமாக எண்ணுகின்றோம் என்று பொருளல்ல; மாறாக கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் விசுவாசம்கொள்ளும்போதுதான் அவைகளை நாம் நிலை நிறுத்துகின்றோம். 

இதனையே, "அப்படியானால், விசுவாசத்தினாலே நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தை அவமாக்குகிறோமா? அப்படியல்ல; நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தை நிலைநிறுத்துகிறோமே." ( ரோமர் 3 : 31 ) என்கின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல். கிறிஸ்துவுக்கேற்ற மக்களாக வாழ்வதற்கு கட்டளைகளல்ல, அவர்மேல்கொள்ளும் விசுவாசமே முக்கியமாக இருக்கின்றது. இல்லாவிட்டால் கிறிஸ்தவமும் உலகிலுள்ள பிற மதங்களைப்போல தனிக்  கட்டளைகளைக்கொண்ட ஒரு சாதாரண மதமாகவே இருக்கும். ஆனால், கிறிஸ்தவம் மதமல்ல; கிறிஸ்து காட்டிய ஒரு மார்க்கம்.

"Now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets. Even the righteousness of God, which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe, for there is no difference" (Romans 3:21–22) 

God gave the commandments to the people of Israel through Moses. The law consists of 613 commandments in addition to the Ten Commandments. These were given so that men might live righteously. But the apostle Paul points out that God's righteousness has been created by Christ without these commandments.

That is, it says that a person who believes in Christ will keep the Ten Commandments without the commandments. He says, "Now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested. The righteousness of God, which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all those that believe," it is said. It works for everyone who believes there is no difference.

That is, when a person receives forgiveness for sins through faith in Christ, the Spirit of Christ comes into him. That Spirit will guide him in the path of God's righteousness. That man doesn't need orders. Yes, he will follow orders without orders.

"Therefore, we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law." (Romans 3:28)

The law of Christ is greater than the commandments of the law. Christ has mentioned it in many places. He added a new twist to many Old Testament commandments by noting, "You have heard that it was said to them of old times, but I say unto you." (See Matthew 5:21, 28, 32, 34, 39, 44, etc.)

So, the Jews considered him to be an enemy of the commandments of the law. That is why Jesus Christ, in his Sermon on the Mount, said, "Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets; I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil." (Matthew 5:17)

Yes, beloved, we cannot become Christlike just by obsessing over the commandments of the law. We can live a righteous life only when our souls are regenerated by faith in Christ. This does not mean that we take the commandments of the law lightly. Rather, it is only when we believe in Christ that we can follow them.

That is why the apostle Paul said, "Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: Yes, we establish the law." (Romans 3:31) It is not commandments but faith in Christ that is important to living as Christ-like people. Otherwise, Christianity would be an ordinary religion with its own precepts, like other religions in the world. But Christianity is not a religion; it is a way taught by Christ.

உம்முடைய கிருபை எவ்வளவு அருமையானது / HOW EXCELLENT IS YOUR LOVING KINDNESS

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,140        💚 மார்ச் 24, 2024 💚 ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை 💚

"தேவனே, உம்முடைய கிருபை எவ்வளவு அருமையானது! அதனால் மனுபுத்திரர் உமது செட்டைகளின் நிழலிலே வந்தடைகிறார்கள்." ( சங்கீதம் 36 : 7 )

மகா பரிசுத்த தேவனின் முன்னிலையில் பரிசுத்தமானவைகளே சென்று சேரமுடியும். மனிதர்கள் நாம் இயல்பிலேயே நம்முள்  பாவ சுபாவங்கள் கொண்டவர்களாக இருக்கின்றோம். எனவே தேவனது சந்நிதியில் சேரவேண்டுமானால் நாம் தூய்மையானவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். "தீட்டுள்ளதும் அருவருப்பையும் பொய்யையும் நடப்பிக்கிறதுமாகிய ஒன்றும் அதில் பிரவேசிப்பதில்லை; ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவரின் ஜீவபுஸ்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டவர்கள் மாத்திரம் அதில் பிரவேசிப்பார்கள்." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 21 : 27 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.

அதாவது நாம் பிதாவின் சந்நிதியில் சென்று சேரவேண்டுமானால் ஆட்டுக்குட்டியான அவரது குமாரனாகிய இரத்தத்தால் நமது பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட்டவர்களாகி தூய்மையடையவேண்டியது அவசியம். அன்பானவர்களே, நமது கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இதற்காகவே கல்வாரியில் இரத்தம் சிந்தி மரித்தார். இப்படி மரித்ததனால் "அக்கிரமங்களில் மரித்தவர்களாயிருந்த நம்மைக் கிறிஸ்துவுடனேகூட உயிர்ப்பித்தார்; கிருபையினாலே இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டீர்கள்." ( எபேசியர் 2 : 5 ) என்கின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல். 

இதனையே தாவீது இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில், "உம்முடைய கிருபை எவ்வளவு அருமையானது! அதனால் மனுபுத்திரர் உமது செட்டைகளின் நிழலிலே வந்தடைகிறார்கள்." என்று கூறுகின்றார்.  ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, அவரது கிருபையால்தான் நாம் பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட்டு அவரது செட்டைகளின் நிழலில் சென்று சேரும் வாய்ப்பினைப் பெற்றுள்ளோம். 

இது மனித முயற்சியால் உண்டானதல்ல; மாறாக இந்த வாய்ப்பு கர்த்தரது கிருபையால்தான் நமக்குக் கிடைக்கின்றது. "கிருபையினாலே விசுவாசத்தைக் கொண்டு இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டீர்கள்; இது உங்களால் உண்டானதல்ல, இது தேவனுடைய ஈவு" ( எபேசியர் 2 : 8 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல். எனவேதான் சங்கீத ஆசிரியரும் இன்றைய வசனத்தில், உம்முடைய கிருபை எவ்வளவு அருமையானது! என்று மனம் மகிழ்ந்து கூறுகின்றார். 

மட்டுமல்ல, இந்த கிருபையினால் உன்னதங்களில் பிதாவின் சந்நிதியில் நாம் கிறிஸ்துவோடுகூட அமரக்கூடிய வாய்ப்பினைப் பெற்றுள்ளோம். "கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் அவர் நம்மிடத்தில் வைத்த தயவினாலே, தம்முடைய கிருபையின் மகா மேன்மையான ஐசுவரியத்தை வருங்காலங்களில் விளங்கச்செய்வதற்காக, கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் நம்மை அவரோடேகூட எழுப்பி, உன்னதங்களிலே அவரோடேகூட உட்காரவும் செய்தார்." ( எபேசியர் 2 : 6, 7 )

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் எந்த வேளையிலும் கிறிஸ்துவின் கிருபையை இழந்திடாமல் காத்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும். மாயையான உலக காரியங்களுக்கு முன்னுரிமைகொடுக்காமல் இருக்கவேண்டும்.  "பொய்யான மாயையைப் பற்றிக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்கள் தங்களுக்கு வரும் கிருபையைப் போக்கடிக்கிறார்கள்." ( யோனா 2 : 8 ) என்று யோனா கூறுகின்றார். தேவனுடைய மகா மேன்மையான கிருபையினை உலகக் கவர்ச்சியால் போக்கடிக்காமல் நம்மைக் காத்துக்கொள்வோம். 

அப்போது, சங்கீதக்காரர் கூறுவதுபோல நாமும் "தேவனே, உம்முடைய கிருபை எவ்வளவு அருமையானது!" என்று கூறவும் அவரது செட்டைகளின் நிழலிலே வந்தடைடையவும் முடியும்.

           HOW EXCELLENT IS YOUR LOVING  KINDNESS

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No: - 1,140  💚 March 24, 2024 💚 Sunday 💚

"How excellent is your loving kindness, O God! Therefore, the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings." (Psalms 36:7)

Only holy things can enter the presence of the Most Holy God. We humans are inherently sinful. Therefore, if we want to join the presence of God, we must be pure. "And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, nor maketh a lie; but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life." (Revelation 21:27), it is said.

That is, our sins should be cleansed by the blood of His Son, the Lamb, before we enter the Father's presence. Beloved, our Lord Jesus Christ bled and died on Calvary for this. By so dying, "Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)" (Ephesians 2:5), says the apostle Paul.

This is what David said in today's meditation verse: "How wonderful is your grace! That is why the sons of men come under the shadow of your wings." says that yes, dear ones, it is by His grace that we have been given the opportunity to be forgiven of our sins and come under the shadow of His wings.

It is not made by human effort; rather, this opportunity is given to us only by God's grace. Apostle Paul says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God." (Ephesians 2: 8) That's why the psalmist says in today's verse, "How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! Therefore, the children of men put their trust under the shadow of your wings."

Moreover, by this grace, we have the opportunity to sit with Christ in the presence of the Father on high. "And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness towards us through Christ Jesus." (Ephesians 2:6, 7)

Therefore, beloved, we must at all times guard against losing the grace of Christ. Do not give priority to illusory, worldly things. "They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy" (Jonah 2:8), says Jonah. Let's keep ourselves from losing God's great grace to worldly attraction.

Then, as the psalmist says, we too can say, "O God, how wonderful is your grace!" and we can also reach under the shade of his wings.

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,139     💚 மார்ச் 23, 2024 💚 சனிக்கிழமை 💚

"உன் கிரியைகளை அறிந்திருக்கிறேன், நீ உயிருள்ளவனென்று பெயர்கொண்டிருந்தும் செத்தவனாயிருக்கிறாய்." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 3 : 1 )

சர்தை சபையின் தூதனுக்கு என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ள இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நம் அனைவரையும் நடுங்கச்செய்யும் வார்த்தைகளாகும். நமது செயல்பாடுகள் அனைத்தையும் கூர்ந்து கவனித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும் தேவன் நம்மைப்பார்த்து இப்படிக் கூறுவாரானால் எப்படியிருக்கும்?

நமது ஆவிக்குரிய செயல்பாடுகளைக்குறித்து நாம் அதிக கவனமுடன் இருக்க இன்றைய வசனம் நம்மை எச்சரிக்கின்றது. நம்மைப்பொறுத்தவரை நாம் செய்வதும், நமது ஆவிக்குரிய செயல்பாடுகளான ஜெபங்களும், வேதவாசிப்பும், ஜெபக்கூட்டங்கள் ஆராதனைகளில் கலந்துகொள்வதும்  மேன்மையானவைகளாக இருக்கலாம். ஆனால், தேவனது பார்வை வித்தியாசமானது. அவர் நமது மேற்படி செயல்களை மட்டும் பார்த்துத் தீர்ப்பிடுவதில்லை. நாம் செய்யும் செயல்களின் பின்னணி, செய்யப்படும் செயலின் நோக்கம் இவைகளையும் அவர் பார்க்கின்றார். 

எனவேதான் தொடர்ந்து அவர் கூறுகின்றார், "நீ விழித்துக்கொண்டு, சாகிறதற்கேதுவாயிருக்கிறவைகளை ஸ்திரப்படுத்து; உன் கிரியைகள் தேவனுக்குமுன் நிறைவுள்ளவைகளாக நான் காணவில்லை." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 3 : 2 ) நமது செயல்பாடுகள் மற்றும் உலக காரியங்களில் நாம் நடந்துகொள்ளும் முறைகள் இவைகளை அவர் நிறைவுள்ளவையாகக் காண முடியவில்லையானால் அவரது பார்வையில்  நாம்  உயிருள்ளவர்களென்று பெயர்பெற்றிருந்தாலும் செத்தவர்களாக இருப்போம். 

எனவே, இன்றைய தியான வசனம் வெறுமனே நல்லவை செய்து நாம் தேவனைத் திருப்திப்படுத்த முடியாது என்பதனைக் காட்டுகின்றது. நல்லவை செய்யுமுன் நாமே நல்லவர்களாக மாறவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது. இன்று உலக மக்களில் பலரும் பெரிய செல்வந்தர்களும், திரையுலக பிரபலஸ்தர்களும் பல நல்ல செயல்களை செய்கின்றனர். ஆனால் தேவன் ஒருவர் செய்யும் நற்செயல்களைவிட அந்தச் செயலைச் செய்யும் மனிதர்களது தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்கையினைப் பார்க்கின்றார். 

இன்றைய வசனத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து தேவன் கூறுகின்றார், "ஆகையால் நீ கேட்டுப் பெற்றுக்கொண்ட வகையை நினைவுகூர்ந்து, அதைக் கைக்கொண்டு மனந்திரும்பு. நீ விழித்திராவிட்டால், திருடனைப்போல் உன்மேல் வருவேன்; நான் உன்மேல் வரும்வேளையை அறியாதிருப்பாய்". ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 3 : 3 ) அதாவது தேவ வசனத்தை கேட்டு, கேட்டவைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு மனம்திரும்பிய வாழ்க்கை வாழவேண்டும் என்கின்றார் தேவன். இல்லாவிட்டால் நாம் நினையாத வேளையில் அழிவு வரும் என்று எச்சரிக்கின்றார். 

எனவே, பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட்ட நிச்சயத்துடன் தேவனோடு தனிப்பட்டத் தொடர்புடன் நாம் வாழவேண்டியது அவசியமாகும். எப்போதும் நமக்குள் தேவனைக்குறித்த பயமும் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்கையினைக்குறித்த எச்சரிக்கையும் இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

"நீ உயிருள்ளவனென்று பெயர்கொண்டிருந்தும் செத்தவனாயிருக்கிறாய்." என்று கூறிய இயேசு "ஒருவன் என் வார்த்தையைக் கைக்கொண்டால், அவன் என்றென்றைக்கும் மரணத்தைக் காண்பதில்லை என்று மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்". ( யோவான் 8 : 51 ) என்றும் கூறினார். இதிலிருந்து நாம் அவரது வார்த்தைகளை வாழ்வாக்கும்போது மட்டுமே உயிருள்ளவர்களாக இருப்போம் என்பது தெளிவாகின்றது. 

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, தேவனது வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்போம், அவற்றை வாழ்வாக்குவோம்; மனம்திரும்பிய வாழ்க்கை வாழ நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம். அப்போது மட்டுமே தேவனது பார்வையில் நாம் உயிருள்ளவர்களாக இருப்போம். அப்போது மட்டுமே நமது நற்செயல்களையும் தேவன் அங்கீகரிப்பார்.

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No: - 1,139 💚 March 23, 2024 💚 Saturday 💚

"I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead." (Revelation 3:1)

Today's meditation verse addressed to the Angel of the Church in Sardis is full of words that make us all tremble. How would it be if God, who is closely watching all our activities, looked at us and said this?

Today's verse warns us to be more careful about our spiritual activities. As far as we are concerned, what we do as spiritual activities such as prayers, scripture reading, and attending prayer meetings and services can be excellent. But God's view is different. He does not just look at our actions and judge us. He also sees the background of our actions and the purpose of our actions.

And so, He continues, "Be watchful, and strengthen the things that remain that are ready to die, for I have not found thy works perfect before God." (Revelation 3:2) If He cannot see our activities and the way we conduct ourselves in worldly affairs, we are dead in His sight, even though we are reputed to be alive.

Therefore, today's meditation verse shows that we cannot satisfy God by simply doing good things. It is necessary for ourselves to become good before doing good. Today many of the people of the world, rich and celebrities are doing many good deeds. But God looks at the personal lives of the people who do that deed rather than the good deeds that one does.

Following today's verse, God says, “Therefore thou shalt not watch; I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.” (Revelation 3:3) In other words, God wants us to listen to God's words, follow what we have heard, and live a repentant life. Otherwise, he warns that destruction will come when we do not know.

Therefore, it is necessary for us to live in a personal relationship with God. We should have the certainty that our sins are forgiven. It is necessary to always have the fear of God and be cautious about our spiritual lives.

The same Jesus who said, "Though you call yourself alive, you are dead," also said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, if a man keeps my saying, he shall never see death." (John 8:51) From this, it is clear that we are alive only when we live by His words.

So beloved, let us hear the words of God; let us live them; let us commit ourselves to living a repentant life. Only then will we be alive in the sight of God. Only then will God recognise our good deeds.
