அவர் பெருகவும் நான் சிறுகவும் / HE MUST INCREASE, I MUST DECREASE

ஆதவன் 🔥 922🌻 ஆகஸ்ட் 07, 2023 திங்கள்கிழமை

"அவர் பெருகவும் நான் சிறுகவும் வேண்டும்." ( யோவான் 3 : 30 )

"He must increase, but I must decrease." ( John 3 : 30 )

இந்த உலகத்தில் மனிதர்கள் எல்லா இடத்திலும் தங்கள் முன்னிலையில் இருக்கவேண்டுமென்று விரும்புகின்றனர்.  ஆலய காரியங்களில்கூட தாழ்ச்சியோ பொறுமையோ இல்லாமல் தானே எல்லா இடத்திலும் முன்னிலையில் இருக்கவேண்டுமென்று விரும்பிச் செயல்படுகின்றனர். ஆனால் இத்தகைய மனிதர்கள் தேவனது பார்வையில் அற்பமானவர்களே. 

நாம் நம்முள் தேவன் பெருகுவதை மட்டுமே விரும்பவேண்டும். நாளுக்குநாள் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்கையில் நாம் முன்னேறிச் செல்ல வேண்டும். இது எப்போது முடியும்? நம்மை நாம் தாழ்த்தும்போது. அதனையே இன்றைய வசனத்தில் யோவான் ஸ்நானன் கூறுகின்றார். நான் சிறுகவேண்டும்; அவர் பெருகவேண்டும்.  நாம் சிறுகச் சிறுக அவர் நம்மில் பெருகுவார். 

இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும் "தன்னைத்தான் உயர்த்துகிறவனெவனும் தாழ்த்தப்படுவான், தன்னைத்தான் தாழ்த்துகிறவன் உயர்த்தப்படுவான்" ( லுூக்கா 14 : 11 ) என்று கூறினார். 

மெய்யான ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது நமக்குள் இந்தத் தாழ்மை குணம் உருவாகின்றது. கிறிஸ்துவைப்போன்ற தாழ்மை. அவர் தேவனுடைய ரூபமாய் இருந்தும் அதனை மேன்மையாகக் கருதாமல் தன்னைத்தான் தாழ்த்தி மனித சாயலானார்.  இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவிலிருந்த சிந்தையே உங்களிலும் இருக்கக்கடவது; அவர் தேவனுடைய ரூபமாயிருந்தும், தேவனுக்குச் சமமாயிருப்பதைக் கொள்ளையாடின பொருளாக எண்ணாமல், தம்மைத்தாமே வெறுமையாக்கி, அடிமையின் ரூபமெடுத்து, மனுஷர் சாயலானார்." ( பிலிப்பியர் 2 : 5- 7 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

இப்படி அவர் தன்னைத் தாழ்த்தியதால், "பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்கு மகிமையாக இயேசுகிறிஸ்து கர்த்தரென்று நாவுகள் யாவும் அறிக்கைபண்ணும்படிக்கும், எல்லா நாமத்திற்கும் மேலான நாமத்தை அவருக்குத் தந்தருளினார்." ( பிலிப்பியர் 2 : 11 )

அன்பானவர்களே, இந்த அண்டசராசரங்களையே படைத்து ஆட்சிசெய்ய்யும்  தேவகுமாரனாகிய கிறிஸ்து தான் படைத்த அற்ப மனிதர்கள் கைகளால் பாடுபட்டு மரிக்கத் தன்னை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்ததுதான் மேலான தாழ்மை. இத்தகைய தாழ்மையுள்ள தேவன் ஒன்றுக்கும் உதவாத அற்ப மனிதன் காட்டும் பெருமையை எப்படிச் சகிப்பார்? 

கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் இருந்த தாழ்மை நமக்குள் வரும்போதுதான் அவரை மேலும் மேலும் அறியமுடியம். நாம் அமைதியாக இருப்பதை உலக மனிதர்கள் பார்த்து நம்மைக் கையாலாகாதவன், கோழை என்று பட்டம் சூட்டலாம். ஆனால் தேவன் எல்லாவற்றையும் அறிவார். எனது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வின் ஆரம்ப காலத்திலேயே இதனை தேவன் எனக்கு உணர்த்தி  இந்த வசனத்தை  உறுதிப்படுத்தினார்.  இது அமைதியாக பொறுமையாக இருப்பதன் மேன்மையை எனக்கு உணர்த்தியது.  ஆம், நமது பொறுமை, தாழ்மை குணத்தால்  நம்முள் அவர் பெருகவும் நாம்  சிறுகவும் வேண்டும்.

HE MUST INCREASE, I MUST DECREASE          

"He must increase and I must decrease." (John 3:30)

In this world people want to be great everywhere. Even in Church matters, they want to be the number one without humility or patience. But such people are insignificant in the eyes of God.

We should only want God to increase in us. We must progress in our spiritual life day by day. When will it happen? When we let ourselves decrease. That is what John the Baptist says in today's verse, "He must increase and I must decrease." As we let us become smaller, He will increase in us.

Jesus Christ also said, "For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted." ( Luke 14 : 11 ).

This humility develops in us when we live a truly spiritual life. Christlike humility. Although he was in the form of God, he humbled himself and became human, not considering it superior. This is what the apostle Paul said, "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:" (Philippians 2: 5- 7)

Because he thus humbled himself Father God has made, "that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2: 11)

Beloved, Christ, the Son of God who created and rules these universes, gave himself up to suffer and die at the hands of the little men he had created. How could such a humble God tolerate the pride of a useless man?

Only when the humility that was in Christ comes into us can we know Him more and more. People of the world may see that we are quiet and call us cowards. But God knows everything. God made this clear to me early in my spiritual life and confirmed this verse. It made me realize the superiority of being quiet and patient. Yes, by our patience and humility He should increase in us and we should decrease.

ஒளிப்பிட பொக்கிஷங்கள் / HIDDEN TREASURES

ஆதவன் 🔥 921🌻 ஆகஸ்ட் 06, 2023 ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை

"என்னை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடு, அப்பொழுது நான் உனக்கு உத்தரவு கொடுத்து, நீ அறியாததும் உனக்கு எட்டாததுமான பெரிய காரியங்களை உனக்கு அறிவிப்பேன்." ( எரேமியா 33 : 3 )

அன்பானவர்களே, பரலோக ராஜ்ஜியத்தின் ரகசியங்களை தேவன் மறைவாகவே வைத்திருக்கின்றார். தனக்கு ஏற்புடையவர்களாக வாழும் தனது அன்பர்களுக்கு அவற்றை வெளிப்படுத்திக் கொடுக்கின்றார். வேதாகம வசனங்களும் பரலோக சாயலானவைகளே. அவற்றின் முழு பொருளையும் அறிந்திட ஒருவர் இறையியல் கல்லூரியில் சென்று படிக்கவேண்டியதில்லை. தேவனோடு இணைந்த வாழ்க்கை வாழ்பவர்களுக்கு அவற்றை வெளிப்படுத்திக் கொடுக்கின்றார்.

இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் சீடர்கள் பலரும் படிப்பறிவில்லாத மீனவர்கள்தான்.  ஆனால் அவர்கள் எழுதியுள்ள நிரூபங்கள் ஆச்சரியப்படவைக்கின்றன. அவர்கள் எழுதிய இறையியல் கருத்துக்களின் பொருள் முற்றிலும் விளங்க வேண்டுமானால் நாமும் அவர்களைப்போல பரிசுத்த ஆவியினால் நிறைந்தவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்து அவரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடும்போது ஆவிக்குரிய வெளிப்பாடுகளை நமக்குத் தருவார். இதனையே, "என்னை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடு, அப்பொழுது நான் உனக்கு உத்தரவு கொடுத்து, நீ அறியாததும் உனக்கு எட்டாததுமான பெரிய காரியங்களை உனக்கு அறிவிப்பேன்." என்கிறார் பரிசுத்தரான கர்த்தர். 

இதையே நாம் ஏசாயா 45 ஆம் அதிகாரத்திலும் வாசிக்கின்றோம். "வெண்கலக் கதவுகளை உடைத்து, இருப்புத் தாழ்ப்பாள்களை முறித்து, அந்தகாரத்தில் இருக்கிற பொக்கிஷங்களையும், ஒளிப்பிடத்தில் இருக்கிற புதையல்களையும் உனக்குக் கொடுப்பேன்." ( ஏசாயா 45 : 4 ) உலக இச்சையுள்ள மனிதர்கள் இதற்கு உலக அர்த்தம்கொண்டு தேவனை நம்பும்போது இத்தகைய  ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் கிடைக்கும் என எண்ணி இதனை வாக்குத்தத்தமாகப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு ஜெபிக்கின்றனர்.   

பரலோக ராஜ்யத்தின் ரகசியங்களும் ஆவிக்குரிய மேலான வெளிப்பாடுகளும் எல்லோருக்கும் கிடைப்பதில்லை. காரணம் பலரும் அவற்றை விரும்புவதில்லை. ஆர்வமில்லாத ஒருவனிடம் மேலான பொருளைக் கொடுத்தாலும் அவன் அதன் மதிப்பை உணரமாட்டான். 

இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை பலர் தேவனுடைய குமாரனென்றும் மேசியா என்றும் விசுவாசித்துப் பின் சென்றாலும் அவர்கள் எல்லோரும் மேலான பரலோக ரகசியங்களை அறிந்துகொள்ளவில்லை. ஆம், சீடத்துவ வாழ்க்கைவாழ ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து வாழ்பவர்களுக்கே அவை அருளப்படும்.  இதனையே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தனது சீடர்களுக்குக் கூறினார், "பரலோகராஜ்யத்தின் இரகசியங்களை அறியும்படி உங்களுக்கு அருளப்பட்டது, அவர்களுக்கோ அருளப்படவில்லை." ( மத்தேயு 13 : 11 )

அன்பானவர்களே, முதலில் இந்த மேலான ரகசியங்களை அறியவேண்டுமெனும் ஆர்வம் நமக்கு வேண்டும். உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்கல்ல, இந்த ஆவிக்குரிய ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்காக நாம் தேவனை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடவேண்டும். அப்போது நாம் அறியாததும் நமது அறிவுக்கு எட்டாததுமான காரியங்களை தேவன் நமக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தித் தருவார். 

வசனங்களுக்கு உண்மையான விளக்கமோ அர்த்தமோ தெரியாத ஊழியர்களையும் குருக்களையும் நம்பிக் கொண்டிருந்தோமானால் நாம் எதனையும் அறியமுடியாது. நமது வாழ்கையினைச் சீர்படுத்திக்கொண்டு உண்மையான ஆர்வத்துடன் தேவதை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடும்போது அவர் நமக்குப் பதில்   கொடுத்து,  நாம் அறியாததும் நமக்கு எட்டாததுமான பெரிய காரியங்களை நமக்கு அறிவிப்பார்.

                             HIDDEN TREASURES

"Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." ( Jeremiah 33 : 3 )

Beloved, God keeps the secrets of the kingdom of heaven hidden. He reveals them to his loved ones who live according to His wishes. The scriptures are also heavenly things and heavenly explanations. One need not to go to a theological college to know their full meaning. He reveals them to those who live a life of union with God.

Many of the disciples of Jesus Christ were illiterate fishermen. But the scriptures they wrote are surprising. In order to fully understand the meaning of the theological ideas they wrote; it is necessary for us to live a life filled with the Holy Spirit like them.

God gives us spiritual revelations when we live a spiritual life and cry out to Him. This is what is said in today’s meditative verse, "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not".

We read the same thing in Isaiah chapter 45. "And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places....." ( Isaiah 45 : 3 ). Worldly lustful people take this as a promise and pray, thinking that they will get such worldly blessings when they believe in God.

The secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven and higher spiritual revelations are not available to everyone. Because many people do not like them. A disinterested person will not feel happy or know the value of anything when that is given to him.

Although many believed in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the Messiah, they all did not know the higher heavenly secrets. Yes, they are bestowed upon those who commit themselves to a life of discipleship. This is what Jesus Christ said to his disciples, "...Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given." ( Matthew 13 : 11 )

Beloved, we must first desire to know these higher secrets. We should cry out to God for these spiritual blessings, not for worldly blessings. Then God will reveal to us things that we do not know and that are beyond our understanding.

If we rely on preachers and pastors who do not know the true interpretation or meaning of the verses, then we cannot know anything. When we call out to the God with real earnestness with our corrected spiritual life. he will answer us and reveal to us great things that we do not know and are beyond our reach.

அவரைத் தேடுங்கள் / SEEK HIM

ஆதவன் 🔥 920🌻 ஆகஸ்ட் 05, 2023 சனிக்கிழமை

"இயேசு மறுபடியும் அவர்களை நோக்கி: நான் போகிறேன், நீங்கள் என்னைத் தேடி உங்கள் பாவங்களிலே சாவீர்கள்; நான் போகிற இடத்துக்கு வர உங்களால் கூடாது என்றார்.' ( யோவான் 8 : 21 )

இன்றைய வசனம் யூதர்களைநோக்கி இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறியது. யூதர்கள் தாங்கள் நம்பியிருந்த முறைமைகளின்படி தேவனைத் தேடிக்கொண்டு பல்வேறு வழிபாட்டு முயற்சிகளில் ஈடுபட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்தனர். ஆனால் அவர்கள் தேடிக்கொண்டிருந்த மேசியா அவர்களிடையே வந்திருந்தும் அவர்களால் அவரை அறிந்துகொள்ள முடியவில்லை. அவர்கள் தன்னை அறிந்துகொள்ளவேண்டுமென்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து பல்வேறு போதனைகளையும் அற்புதங்களையும் அதிசயங்களையும் செய்து தன்னை தேவனுடைய குமாரனென்று வெளிப்படுத்தினார். ஆனால் அவர்கள் அவரை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லை. 

இதற்குக் காரணம் இருள் நிறைந்த அவர்களது உள்ளம் ஒளியான அவரை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள விரும்பவில்லை. இதனையே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "ஒளியானது உலகத்திலே வந்திருந்தும் மனுஷருடைய கிரியைகள் பொல்லாதவைகளாய் இருக்கிறபடியினால் அவர்கள் ஒளியைப்பார்க்கிலும் இருளை விரும்புகிறதே அந்த ஆக்கினைத்தீர்ப்புக்குக் காரணமாயிருக்கிறது." ( யோவான் 3 : 19 ) என்று குறிப்பிட்டார். எது அந்த ஆக்கினைத் தீர்ப்பு? "உங்கள் பாவங்களிலே சாவீர்கள்" என்று கூறியுள்ளதுதான் அந்த ஆக்கினைத் தீர்ப்பு. 

மெய்யான தேவனை விட்டுவிட்டு அவரைத்தேடி எங்கெங்கோ அலைவது தேவையற்ற செயல். அப்படி அலைவதால் நமக்கு பாவத்திலிருந்து விடுதலை கிடைக்காது. மாறாக பாவத்தின் விளைவாக நமது  ஆத்துமா செத்து அழியும்.  

அன்பானவர்களே, இன்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறுவது யூதர்களுக்கு மட்டுமல்ல, அவரை விசுவாசிக்கிறேன் என்று கூறிக்கொண்டு அவரை வாழ்வில் தனிப்பட்ட முறையில் அறிந்துகொள்ளாமல் வாழும் அனைவருக்குமே பொருந்தும். காரணம், பாவத்திலிருந்து விடுதலைபெற கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு நம்மை அர்பணிப்பதைத் தவிர வேறு எந்தப் பரிகாரமும் இல்லை. நமது பாவங்களுக்காக இரத்தம் சிந்தியது அவர்தான்.  "ஆகையால் குமாரன் உங்களை விடுதலையாக்கினால் மெய்யாகவே விடுதலையாவீர்கள்." ( யோவான் 8 : 36 )

கிறிஸ்துவைத் தேடுவது என்பது அவரை நமது உள்ளத்தில் வரவேற்பது. "இயேசுவே உம்மைத் தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்க்கையில் அறிய விரும்புகின்றேன்"  என்று முழு மனதுடன் வேண்டும்போது  அவர் தன்னை நமக்கு வெளிப்படுத்துவார். உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்காகவே ஜெபித்துக்கொண்டிருப்போமானால் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொண்டாலும் நம்மை நாமே ஏமாற்றிக்கொண்டவர்களாகவே இருப்போம். மேலான ஆவிக்குரிய காரியங்களையே நாடுவோம். 

அப்படி இல்லாமல் உலகத்தேவைகளுக்காகவே  அவரைத் தேடிக்கொண்டிருப்போமானால், "நான் போகிறேன், நீங்கள் என்னைத் தேடி உங்கள் பாவங்களிலே சாவீர்கள்; நான் போகிற இடத்துக்கு வர உங்களால் கூடாது." என யூதர்களுக்குக் கூறிய வார்த்தைகளையே நமக்கும் கூறுவார்.

                                         SEEK HIM

"Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come." ( John 8 : 21 )

Today's verse was spoken by Jesus Christ to the Jews. The Jews were seeking God according to the systems they believed in and engaged in various worship efforts. But even though the Messiah they were looking for had come among them, they could not recognize him. For them to know Him, Jesus Christ revealed Himself as the Son of God by performing various teachings, miracles, and wonders. But they did not accept him.

This is because their hearts were filled with darkness and they did not want to accept Him who is light. This is what Jesus Christ said, "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil." (John 3 : 19 ) What is the condemnation? "You shall die in your sins."

It is unnecessary to leave the true God and wander somewhere in search of Him. Wandering like that does not free us from sin. Instead, our soul dies as a result of sin.

Beloved, what Jesus Christ is saying today applies not only to the Jews, but to all who claim to believe in Him and live without knowing Him personally. The reason is that there is no remedy other than giving ourselves to Christ to be freed from sin. He is the one who shed blood for our sins. "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." (John 8: 36)

To seek Christ is to welcome Him into our hearts. He will reveal Himself to us when we wholeheartedly want to know Jesus. If we are praying only for the blessings of the world, we are deceiving ourselves even though we claim to be Christians. Let us seek higher spiritual things.

Otherwise, if we are looking for him for worldly needs, He will tell us the same words he told the Jews, “I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come."

காணிக்கை / OFFERING

ஆதவன் 🔥 919🌻 ஆகஸ்ட் 04, 2023 வெள்ளிக்கிழமை

"அவர்களெல்லாரும் தங்கள் பரிபூரணத்திலிருந்தெடுத்து தேவனுக்கென்று காணிக்கை போட்டார்கள்; இவளோ தன் வறுமையிலிருந்து தன் ஜீவனத்துக்கு உண்டாயிருந்ததெல்லாம் போட்டுவிட்டாள்." ( லுூக்கா 21 : 4 )

காணிக்கையளித்தல் குறித்து இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறிய இன்றைய சித்தனை நமக்கு ஒரு படிப்பினையாகும். பொதுவாக அனைவருமே அதிக காணிக்கைகளை ஆலயத்துக்கு அளிப்பவர்களை மேலானவர்களாகக் கருதுகின்றனர். ஆலய கட்டுமானங்கள், ஆலய விரிவாக்கம், ஆலயத்துக்கான சிறப்பு ஏற்பாடுகள் செய்ய என காணிக்கைகள் வசூலிக்கும்போது இந்த கீழ் மேல் மனநிலை வெளியரங்கமாகத் தெரியும். 

மேலும் ஆலயங்களில் ஒரே நபர் பத்து லட்சம் அல்லது  ஒருகோடி காணிக்கை அளிக்கும்போது அந்தச் செய்தி பத்திரிகைகளில் சிறப்பாக வெளியிடப்படுகின்றது. ஆம், இதுதான் மனிதர்கள் பார்வை. மனிதர்கள் தங்கள் மனநிலைக்கேற்ப அதிகம் கொடுப்பவர்களை மேலானவர்களாகக் கருதுகின்றனர். 

ஆனால் தேவனது பார்வை வேறு. அவர் மனிதர்களின் உள்ளான மனநிலையினை அறிகின்றவர். இந்த அண்டசராசரங்களையே படைத்த தேவன் அற்ப மனிதர்களது பணத்தால் மயங்குபவரல்ல. காரணம், வெள்ளியும் பொன்னும் அவருடையது. ஆம், "வெள்ளியும் என்னுடையது, பொன்னும் என்னுடையது என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்." ( ஆகாய் 2 : 8 )

கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் பார்வை இதுவாக இருந்ததால் அவர் இரண்டு காசு காணிக்கைச் செலுத்திய ஏழை விதவையின் காணிக்கையினை சிறப்பாகக் கூறுகின்றார். நமது ஆலயங்களில் இதற்கு மாறாகச் சில வேளைகளில் ஆலய வளர்ச்சிக்காக பணம் சேகரிக்கும்போது ஒரு சில ஏழை வீடுகளைத் தவிர்த்துவிடுகின்றனர். காரணம் அங்கு சென்றால் நூறு அல்லது இருநூறு ரூபாய்தான் கிடைக்கும். அது பெரிய ஆலயப்  பணிக்குத் தேவையற்ற  அற்பமான பணம் என எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். 

நம்மைப் பாதிக்கும்படி கொடுப்பதே அன்புடன் கொடுப்பது. கோடிக்கணக்கான சொத்துசுகங்களை வைத்திருப்பவர் பல ஆயிரங்களைக் காணிக்கையாகக் கொடுப்பதைவிட அடுத்தநாள் செலவுக்கு மட்டுமே இருக்கும் சொற்ப பணத்தில் ஐம்பது ரூபாய் கொடுப்பது மேலானது. 

சிலருக்கு ஆலயத்துக்கும் தர்ம காரியங்களுக்கும்  அதிக காணிக்கை கொடுக்க மனதில் ஆர்வமிருக்கும் ஆனால் கொடுப்பதற்குப் பணமிருக்காது. இத்தகைய நிலையில் அந்த மனிதன் தான் கொடுக்க விரும்பியதைக் கொடுக்க இயலாவிட்டாலும் தேவனது பார்வையில் அது கொடுக்கப்பட்டகாகவே அவரால் அங்கீகரிக்கப்படும். இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல்,  "ஒருவனுக்கு மனவிருப்பமிருந்தால், அவனுக்கு இல்லாததின்படியல்ல, அவனுக்கு உள்ளதின்படியே அங்கிகரிக்கப்படும்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 8 : 12 ) என்கின்றார். 

அன்பானவர்களே, மன உற்சாகத்துடன் கர்த்தருக்குக் கொடுப்போம். தேவன் காணிக்கைகளையோ தசமபாகக் காணிக்கையையோ  கண்டிப்பாக நம்மிடம் கேட்டு கொடுக்காவிட்டால் சபிப்பவரல்ல; அப்படிக் கொடுத்தவுடன் அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதிப்பவருமல்ல. இருதய சுத்தத்தோடு, விருப்பத்தோடு, நம்மைப் பாதிக்குமளவுக்கு, எந்த எதிர்பார்ப்பும் இல்லாமல் அந்த ஏழை விதவைக் கொடுத்ததைப்போல காணிக்கை அளிப்போம். ஆம், அந்த விதவை ஆசீர்வாதத்தை எதிர்பார்த்துக் காணிக்கைக்  கொடுக்கவுமில்லை; அப்படிக் கொடுத்ததால் அவள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டாள் என்று கூறப்படவுமில்லை.  

ஆவிக்குரிய சபைகள் என்று கூறப்படும் சபைகள் போதிக்கும் தவறான போதனைகளுக்கு விலகி நம்மைக் காத்துக்கொள்வோம்.

                       OFFERING

"For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had." ( Luke 21 : 4 )

Today's verses of Jesus Christ about giving offerings are a lesson for us. Generally, everyone considers those who give more offerings to the temple to be superior. This bottom-up mindset of people is visible when collecting donations for church constructions, expansion, and making special arrangements for the church.

And when a single person donates ten lakhs or one crore in temples, the news is well published by the press. Yes, this is what humans see. Humans tend to regard those who give more as superior.

But God's view is different. He knows the inner mind of people. God who created these universes is not mesmerized by the money of petty people. Because silver and gold belong to him. Yes, "The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts." (Haggai 2 : 8 )

Because this was the vision of Lord Jesus Christ, he best describes the offering of the poor widow who paid two pennies. On the contrary, in our temples, sometimes when collecting money for the development of the church, a few poor houses are left out. Because if you go there, you will get one hundred or two hundred rupees. They consider it as a trivial amount of money unnecessary for the great church work.

Giving with love is giving to affect oneself. A person who gives fifty rupees out of the meagre amount that he had for the next day's expenses is superior to God than a man giving thousands or lakhs as donations to church.

Some people have a desire to give more to the church and charitable causes but do not have money to give. In such a case, even if the man is unable to give what he wants to give, it will be recognized as given in the eyes of God. This is what the apostle Paul said, "For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not." ( 2 Corinthians 8 : 12 )

Beloved, let us give to the Lord with enthusiasm. God is not compelling us to give offerings or tithes; He will not bless them for giving like that. Let us give with purity of heart, willingly, to the extent that it affects us, without any expectation, as the poor widow gave. Yes, the widow paid the offering without hoping for a blessing; It is not mentioned she is blessed for such giving.

Let us keep ourselves away from false teachings taught by so-called spiritual churches.

நித்திய ஜீவனுக்காக விதைத்தல் / SOWING FOR ETERNAL LIFE

ஆதவன் 🔥 918🌻 ஆகஸ்ட் 03, 2023 வியாழக்கிழமை

"மனுஷன் எதை விதைக்கிறானோ அதையே அறுப்பான். தன் மாம்சத்திற்கென்று விதைக்கிறவன் மாம்சத்தினால் அழிவை அறுப்பான்; ஆவிக்கென்று விதைக்கிறவன் ஆவியினாலே நித்தியஜீவனை அறுப்பான்." ( கலாத்தியர் 6 : 7, 8 )

"வினை விதைப்பவன் வினை அறுப்பான்; தினை விதைத்தவன் தினை அறுப்பான்" என தமிழ் பழமொழி ஒன்று உண்டு.  ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கையிலும் இதுவே நடக்கும் என்கிறார் அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பவுல்.  நாம் எதனைச் செய்கின்றோமோ அதற்கேற்ற பலனைத்தான் நாம் பெற முடியம். 

உலகத்தேவைகளுக்காக மட்டுமே உழைத்தல் ; ஆவிக்குரிய காரியங்களுக்காக உழைத்தல் எனும் இரண்டு காரியங்களை பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர் விளக்குகின்றார். உலக காரியங்கள் அழிவுக்குரியன.  அவற்றுக்காக ஜெபிப்பதும் உழைப்பதும்  ஆதாம் செய்ததுபோன்ற செயல். ஆதாம் விலக்கப்பட்டப் பழத்தின் அழகிலும் அதன் கவர்ச்சியிலும் மயங்கி நித்திய ஜீவனை தவறவிட்டான்.  இதுபோலவே நாமும் உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களையே பெரிதாக எண்ணி அவற்றுக்காகவே ஜெபித்து வாழ்வோமானால் நிலையில்லாத உலக பொருட்கள் அழிவதுபோல ஆத்தும அழிவை அடைவோம். 

நாம் நித்தியஜீவனுக்காகவே அழைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம். எனவே, ஆவிக்குரிய காரியங்களுக்கு முன்னுரிமை கொடுத்து உழைப்போமானால் நித்திய ஜீவனுக்கு உரிமையுள்ளவர்களாவோம். 

ஆவிக்குரிய காரியங்களுக்கு உழைத்தல் என்பது வெறுமனே ஆலய வழிபாடுகளில் கலந்துகொள்வதல்ல. எல்லாவித ஆவிக்குரிய செயல்களையும்  கடைபிடித்தாலும் நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வு வாழாதவர்களாக இருந்தால் நாம் உலகத்துக்குரியவர்களே.  தேவன்மேலுள்ள பூரணமான அன்போடு நாம் செயல்படும்போதுதான் நாம் ஆவிக்குரியவர்களாக மாறமுடியும்.  பூரண அன்பு நம்மை இயல்பிலேயே நல்லவர்களாக மாற்றிவிடும். 

இது எப்படியென்றால்,  நாம் நினைத்து நினைத்து சுவாசிப்பதில்லை.  நம்மை அறியாமலேயே நாம் சுவாசிக்கின்றோம்.  அதுபோல ஆவிக்குரிய செயல்பாடுகளும் நம்மில் இயற்கையிலேயே வந்துவிடும். இப்படி வாழும்போது நாம் ஆவிக்கென்று விதைக்கின்றவர்கள் ஆகின்றோம்.

பொதுவாக கண்ணால் காணக்கூடியவை உலகத்துக்குரியவை. ஆவிக்குரியவைகளோ நாம் காண முடியாதவை.  எனவே, உண்மையான நமது ஆவிக்குரிய செயல்பாடுகள் நமக்கும் தேவனுக்கும் மட்டுமே தெரிவதாக இருக்கும். உலகத்துக்கு நாம் சாதாரண மனிதர்கள் போலவே இருப்போம். 

"காற்றானது தனக்கு இஷ்டமான இடத்திலே வீசுகிறது, அதின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்கிறாய், ஆகிலும் அது இன்ன இடத்திலிருந்து வருகிறதென்றும், இன்ன இடத்துக்குப் போகிறதென்றும் உனக்குத் தெரியாது; ஆவியினால் பிறந்தவனெவனோ அவனும் அப்படியே இருக்கிறான்" ( யோவான் 3 : 8 ) என்றார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. 

அன்பானவர்களே, இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறுவதுபோல நாம் ஆவியினால் பிறந்துள்ளது உண்மையானால் பிறர் கணிக்கமுடியாத ஆவிக்குரியவற்றையே  விதைப்போம்; நித்திய ஜீவனையும் பெற்றுக்கொள்வோம்.

     SOWING FOR ETERNAL LIFE

"....... whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting." (Galatians 6: 7, 8)

There is a Tamil proverb that says "He who sows evil will reap evils; he who sows millet will reap millet". The same thing happens also in the spiritual life, says the apostle, Paul. Whatever we do, we get the same result.

The apostle Paul explains two things of labouring. Labouring only for worldly needs; labouring for spiritual things. Worldly things are perishable. Praying and working for them is like what Adam did. Adam was seduced by the beauty and allure of the forbidden fruit and missed out eternal life. Similarly, if we think about worldly blessings, pray and live for them, we will reach spiritual destruction just like the impermanent worldly goods perish.

We are called to eternal life. Therefore, if we give priority to spiritual things and labour, we will be entitled to eternal life.

Working for spiritual things is not just attending church services. If we follow all spiritual practices but do not live a spiritual life, we are of the world. We can become spiritual only when we act with perfect love for God. Perfect love makes us inherently good.

As it is, we do not think and breathe. We breathe without realizing it. Similarly, spiritual activities also come naturally to us. When we live like this, we become spiritual Sowers.

In general, what is visible belongs to the world. Spiritual things are things we cannot see. Therefore, our true spiritual activities are visible only to us and to God. We will appear to the world as ordinary people.

"The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.”(John 3 : 8 ).  Beloved, if we are born of the Spirit as Jesus Christ says, we will sow spiritual things that others cannot predict; We will also receive eternal life.

கற்பனைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவது / OBEYING COMMANDMENTS

ஆதவன் 🔥 917🌻 ஆகஸ்ட் 02, 2023 புதன்கிழமை

"ஆ, என் கற்பனைகளைக் கவனித்தாயானால் நலமாயிருக்கும்; அப்பொழுது உன் சமாதானம் நதியைப்போலும், உன் நீதி சமுத்திரத்தின் அலைகளைப்போலும் இருக்கும்.  அப்பொழுது உன் சந்ததி மணலத்தனையாகவும், உன் கர்ப்பப்பிறப்பு அதன் அணுக்களத்தனையாகவும் இருக்கும்..." ( ஏசாயா 48 : 18, 19 )

தேவனது கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து அவருக்கேற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது நமக்குக் கிடைக்கும் ஆசீர்வாதங்களை இன்றைய வசனம் எடுத்துக் கூறுகின்றது. 

தேவனது கட்டளைகளுக்குச் செவிசாய்க்கும்போது முதலாவது நமக்குக் கிடைப்பது தேவ சமாதானம். அந்த சமாதானம் நதியைப்போல இருக்கும் என்று கூறுகின்றது. நதியானது அமைதலான தண்ணீரால் நிறைந்திருப்பதைப்போல ஜீவ நதியான ஆவியானவரின் சமாதானம் உண்டாயிருக்கும். இரண்டாவது நமது நீதியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை கடலின் அலைகளுக்கு ஒப்பாக முடிவில்லாமல், அவை இரவும் பகலும் முடிவின்றி இருப்பதுபோல முடிவில்லா நீதியாக இருக்கும். 

மூன்றாவதாக, ஆபிரகாமுக்குத்  தேவன் ஆசிகூறியதுபோல நமது சந்ததி கடற்கரை மணல்போலவும் அணுத்துகள்களைப்போல  எண்ணமுடியாததாகவும்  இருக்கும். மேலும் நமது பெயர் என்றும் அழியாமல் நிலைத்திருக்கும். 

இன்று பலரிடமும் இல்லாத ஒன்று மெய் சமாதானம். திரளான செல்வங்களும், சொத்து, சுகங்கள், புகழ் இவை இருந்தாலும் மன சமாதானம் இல்லாமல் போகுமானால் நமது அனைத்துச் செல்வங்களும் வீணானவையே. இந்த சமாதானம் தேவனது கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்படியும்போது கிடைக்கின்றது. 

இன்று பலருக்கும் தேவனது கட்டளைகளுக்கும் தாங்கள் சார்ந்துள்ள சபைகளின்  கட்டளைகளுக்கும் வித்தியாசம் தெரிவதில்லை. காரணம், சபையின் கட்டளைகளே பிரதானமாகப் போதிக்கப்படுகின்றன. இந்தக் கட்டளைகள் பொதுவாக மனிதர்களால் உருவாக்கப்பட்டவை. மதத் தலைவர்களால் உருவாக்கப்பட்டவை. தங்களது சபை பிரிவில்லாமல் இருக்கவேண்டும் என்பதற்காக உருவாக்கப்பட்டவை அவை. ஆனால் இவை தேவனது கட்டளைகளுக்கு முரணானவையாக இருந்தால் நாம் அவற்றுக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுக்கவேண்டிய அவசியமில்லை. 

அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் தேவனுடைய கற்பனைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து கீழ்ப்படிவது அவரை அன்புகூருவதற்கு அடையாளமாகும். சபையின் கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவது தேவனை அன்புகூருவதல்ல.  அப்போஸ்தலரான யோவான்,  "நாம் தேவனுடைய கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்வதே அவரிடத்தில் அன்புகூருவதாம்; அவருடைய கற்பனைகள் பாரமானவைகளுமல்ல." ( 1 யோவான் 5 : 3 ) என்று குறிப்பிடுகின்றார்.  நாம் தேவனிடம் மெய்யாகவே அன்புகூருவோமானால் நம்மை அறியாமலேயே அவரது கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்திடுவோம். 

ஒட்டுமொத்தமாக தேவன் இன்றைய வசனம் மூலம் கூறுவது, தேவனிடம் அன்புகூருவது என்பது அவரது கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதாகும். அப்படிக் கீழ்ப்படியும்போது தேவ சமாதானமும், தேவ நீதியும் நம்மை நிரப்பும். நமது சந்ததி ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படும். நமது பெயர் என்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கும்.

               OBEYING COMMANDMENTS

"O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea. Thy seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof; his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me." ( Isaiah 48 : 18, 19 )

Today's verse highlights the blessings we get when we obey God's commandments and live according to Him.

The first thing we get when we listen to God's commands is God's peace. It says that peace will be like a river. As a river is filled with still water, so is the peace of the Spirit, the river of life. Second, our righteous life is like the waves of the sea without end, and they are endless throughout day and night.

Third, our descendants will be like the sand on the beach and as innumerable as, God blessed Abraham. And our name will live forever.

Many people today do not know the difference between the commandments of God and the commands of the churches they belong to. The reason is that the commandments of the church are the main ones taught today. These commands are usually created by humans. Created by religious leaders. They were created to be independent of their congregation. But if these are contrary to the commandments of God, we need not attach importance to them.

Beloved, it is a sign of loving God that we hear and obey God's commandments. Obeying church orders is not loving God. The apostle John said, "We love God by keeping His commandments; His commandments are not grievous." (1 John 5:3) mentions. If we truly love God, we will obey His commands without realizing it.

Overall, what God is saying through today's verse is that loving God means obeying His commandments. When we obey His commandments God's peace and justice will fill us. Our posterity will be blessed. Our name will live forever.

நம்முடைய குடியிருப்பு / OUR DWELLING PLACE

ஆதவன் 🔥 916🌻 ஆகஸ்ட் 01, 2023 செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை

"நம்முடைய குடியிருப்போ பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிறது, அங்கேயிருந்து கர்த்தராயிருக்கிற இயேசுகிறிஸ்து என்னும் இரட்சகர் வர எதிர்பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறோம்." ( பிலிப்பியர் 3 : 20 )

மெய்யான ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கை வாழும் மனிதர்களின் விருப்பத்தினை அப்போஸ்தலராகிய பவுல் அடிகள் இன்றைய வசனத்தில் விளக்குகின்றார்.  இந்த உலகம் நாம் தற்காலிகமாக வாழ நமக்குக்  கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதிகபட்சமாக நூறு வயதுவரை ஒருவேளை நாம் இங்கு வாழலாம். ஆனால் நாம் நித்திய நித்திய காலமாய் வாழப்போவது பரலோகக் குடியிருப்பில்தான்.  அங்கிருந்து வந்து  நம்மை அழைத்துச் செல்லவிருக்கும் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு நாம் காத்திருக்கின்றோம்.

அப்படி அவர் வரும்போது நமது அற்பமான உடல்களை தனது மகிமையான உடலின் சாயலுக்கு ஒப்பாக மறுரூபமாக்குவார். இதனையே, "அவர் எல்லாவற்றையும் தமக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளத்தக்க தம்முடைய வல்லமையான செயலின்படியே, நம்முடைய அற்பமான சரீரத்தைத் தம்முடைய மகிமையான சரீரத்திற்கு ஒப்பாக மறுரூபப்படுத்துவார்." ( பிலிப்பியர் 3 : 21 ) என்கின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலராகிய பவுல் அடிகள்.

ஆனால், உலக ஆசைத் தேவைகளுக்காக இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவிடம் ஜெபிப்பவர்கள் இதனை உணர்வதில்லை. அவர்களுக்குத் தங்கள் உலகத் தேவைகளே போதும். மகிமையான காரியங்கள் அவர்களுக்குத் தூரமானவை.  

இப்படி உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களையும் உலக காரியங்களையும் போதிப்பவர்கள் மக்களை வஞ்சிக்கிறவர்கள். ஆனால், இன்று இத்தகைய வஞ்சனைதான் பல  கிறிஸ்தவ ஊழியர்களாலும் செய்யப்படுகின்றது. இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "அப்படிப்பட்டவர்கள் நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவுக்கு ஊழியஞ்செய்யாமல் தங்கள் வயிற்றுக்கே ஊழியஞ்செய்து, நயவசனிப்பினாலும் இச்சகப்பேச்சினாலும், கபடில்லாதவர்களுடைய இருதயங்களை வஞ்சிக்கிறவர் களாயிருக்கிறார்கள்." ( ரோமர் 16 : 18 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார்.

அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் மேலானவைகளை நாடுபவர்களாக வாழவே அழைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம். வேதாகமம் எழுதப்பட்டதன்  நோக்கமும் அதுதான். உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களைத் தருவதற்கு இயேசு கிறிஸ்து உலகினில் வந்து இரத்தம் சிந்திடத் தேவையில்லை. எனவே, தங்கள் வயிற்றுக்கே ஊழியம்செய்யும் வஞ்சிக்கிற அந்திக் கிறிஸ்துவின் போதனைகளைப்  பிரசங்கிக்கும் ஊழியர்களை விட்டு விலகி வாழ்வதே நாம் செய்யவேண்டியது. 

இந்த உலகமும்  இந்த உலகத்திலுள்ள அனைத்தும் அழிந்துபோகும். இவை அனைத்தும் அக்கினிக்கு இரையாக வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு ஏற்புடையவர்களாக வாழ்பவர்கள் மட்டுமே கிறிஸ்துவோடு சேர்க்கப்பட்டு பரலோக இன்பத்தை அனுபவிப்பார்கள். நமது வாழ்க்கை அத்தகைய வாழ்க்கையாக அமைந்திட வாழ்வதே முக்கியம். அந்த நாளுக்கு நாம் ஆவலோடு காத்திருக்கவேண்டும் என்கிறார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு. 

"கர்த்தருடைய நாள் இரவிலே திருடன் வருகிறவிதமாய் வரும்; அப்பொழுது வானங்கள் மடமட என்று அகன்றுபோகும், பூதங்கள் வெந்து உருகிப்போகும், பூமியும் அதிலுள்ள கிரியைகளும் எரிந்து அழிந்துபோகும். இப்படி இவைகளெல்லாம் அழிந்து போகிறதாயிருக்கிறபடியால் நீங்கள் எப்படிப்பட்ட பரிசுத்த நடக்கையும் தேவபக்தியும் உள்ளவர்களாயிருக்க வேண்டும்! தேவனுடைய நாள் சீக்கிரமாய் வரும்படிக்கு மிகுந்த ஆவலோடே காத்திருங்கள்." ( 2 பேதுரு 3 : 10- 12 )

மறுமைக்காக எழுதப்பட்ட வேத வசனங்களை மறுமைக்கான ஆசையுடன் வாசிப்பதும் அவைகளின்படி நடப்பதுமே கடமை. வேத வசனங்களின்படி நமது வாழ்கையினைச் சீர்படுத்தி கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் வருகைக்குக் காத்திருப்போம்.

"For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ" ( Philippians 3 : 20 ) 

Apostle Paul explains in today's verse the desire of people who live a true spiritual life. This world is given to us to live in temporarily. We can probably live here until we are a hundred years old at most. But we will live forever in the heavenly abode. We are waiting for the Lord Jesus Christ to come and take us there.

And when He comes, He will transform our human bodies into the likeness of His glorious body. That is, "Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself." (Philippians 3: 21) says the Apostle Paul.

But those who pray to Jesus Christ for worldly desires do not realize this. Their worldly needs are enough for them. Glorious things are far from them.

Those who teach worldly blessings and worldly things like this are deceiving people. But this is the deception practiced by many Christian ministers today. This is what the apostle Paul said, "For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.” ( Romans 16 : 18 ) says.

Beloved, we are called to live as seekers of heavenly things. That is the purpose for which the Bible was written. Jesus Christ did not need to come into the world and shed blood to bring worldly blessings. Therefore, what we need to do is to stay away from ministers who preach the teachings of the deceitful Antichrist who serve their own bellies.

This world and everything in it will perish. All these have been thrown into the fire. Only those who live according to Christ will be joined to Christ and enjoy heavenly pleasures. It is important to live our life to be such a life. Apostle Peter says we should eagerly wait for that day.

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God…” (2 Peter 3 :10-12)

It is a duty to read the scriptures written for the same purpose with the desire to act according to them. Let us prepare our lives according to the scriptures and wait for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
