🦋 Meditation verse - எரேமியா 2 : 6 / Jeremiah 2:5

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1725                                           ஆதவன் 28.10.2025 செவ்வாய்     

"என்னைவிட்டுத் தூரப்பட்டு, மாயையைப் பின்பற்றி, வீணராய்ப் போகிறதற்கு என்னிடத்தில் என்ன அநியாயத்தைக் கண்டார்கள்?" ( எரேமியா 2 : 6 )

ஒரு குடும்பத்தில் அன்பாக வளர்க்கப்பட்ட மகனோ மகளோ பெற்றோருடன் ஏதோ மனத்தாங்கல் ஏற்ப்படும்போது அவர்களிடம் பேசாமல் அவர்களை ஒதுக்கிவைத்துவிடுவதுண்டு. அந்தப் பெற்றோர்கள் சிறுவயதுமுதல் அந்தப் பிள்ளைகளுக்கு பல நல்ல செயல்கள் செய்திருப்பார்கள். அந்தப் பிள்ளைகளது தற்போதைய நல்ல நிலைமைக்கு பெற்றோர்தான் காரணமாக இருப்பார்கள். ஆனால் பிள்ளைகள் இப்பொது அந்தப் பெற்றோருடன் பேசுவதில்லை. இது அந்தப் பெற்றோருக்கு எத்தனை மனவேதனையைக் கொடுக்கும்! 

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் இதே மனவேதனையுடன் தேவன் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களைப்பார்த்துக் கேட்கின்றார், "என்னைவிட்டுத் தூரப்பட்டு, மாயையைப் பின்பற்றி, வீணராய்ப் போகிறதற்கு என்னிடத்தில் என்ன அநியாயத்தைக் கண்டார்கள்?" என்று.

முந்தின வசனங்களில் தேவன் கூறுகின்றார், "யாக்கோபின் குடும்பத்தாரே, இஸ்ரவேல் குடும்பத்தின் வம்சங்களே, நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள். கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: எங்களை எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து வரப்பண்ணினவரும், அவாந்தரவெளியும், பள்ளங்களுமுள்ள தேசமும், வறட்சியும், மரண இருளுமுள்ள தேசமும், ஒருவனும் கடவாமலும் ஒரு மனுஷனும் குடியிராமலும் இருக்கிற தேசமுமான வனாந்தரத்தில் எங்களை நடத்தினவருமாகிய கர்த்தர் எங்கேயென்று உங்கள் பிதாக்கள் கேளாமல்..," ( எரேமியா 2 : 4, 5 )

அதாவது, இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களே, உங்களது பிதாக்களை நான் அவர்கள் அடிமைகளாக இருந்த எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து விடுதலைப்பண்ணி  அவாந்தரவெளியும், பள்ளங்களுமுள்ள தேசமும், வறட்சியும், மரண இருளுமுள்ள தேசமும், ஒருவனும் கடவாமலும் ஒரு மனுஷனும் குடியிராமலும் இருக்கிற தேசமுமான வனாந்தரத்தில் வழிநடத்தி பாலும் தேனும் வழியும் கானானுக்குள் கொண்டுவந்தேன். இவ்வளவு செய்தும் உங்கள் பிதாக்கள் கர்த்தராகிய என்னை மறந்தார்கள். இப்படி என்னைவிட்டுத் தூரப்பட்டு, மாயையைப் பின்பற்றி, வீணராய்ப் போகிறதற்கு என்னிடத்தில் என்ன அநியாயத்தைக் கண்டார்கள்? என்கிறார் பரிசுத்தர். 

இதே வசனத்தை நமது வாழ்வில் இந்தநாளில் நாம் சிந்தித்துப்பார்ப்போம். நமது வாழ்க்கையிலும் தேவன் நமக்குப் பல்வேறு நல்ல காரியங்களைச் செய்திருக்கலாம். சுமார் பத்து ஆண்டுகளுக்குமுன் நமது வாழ்க்கை எப்படி இருந்தது; இப்போது எப்படி இருக்கின்றது என்று எண்ணிப்பார்ப்போம். ஆனால், இந்த இடைபட்டக் கால வளர்ச்சிக்கு நாம் அவருக்கு நன்றியுள்ளவர்களாக இருக்கின்றோமா? அல்லது அவரை மறந்தவர்களாக வாழ்கின்றோமா? 

இப்படி நாம் நன்றியறிதலில்லாமல் அவரோடு ஐக்கியமில்லாமல் வாழ்வோமானால் அன்று இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரைப்பார்த்துக் கேட்டதுபோல தேவன் நம்மையும் பார்த்துக் கேட்பார். மகனே, மகளே என்னைவிட்டுத் தூரப்பட்டு, மாயையைப் பின்பற்றி, வீணராய்ப் போகிறதற்கு என்னிடத்தில் நீ  என்ன அநியாயத்தைக் கண்டாய்?  

"தேவசமாதானம் உங்கள் இருதயங்களில் ஆளக்கடவது, இதற்கென்றே நீங்கள் ஒரே சரீரமாக அழைக்கப்பட்டீர்கள்; நன்றியறிதலுள்ளவர்களாயுமிருங்கள்." (கொலோசெயர் 3:15) என்று நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல். எந்தவேளையிலும் நாம் நன்றியுள்ளவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். நாம் நன்றியுள்ளவர்கள் என்பதனை தேவனுக்குக் காண்பிக்க ஒரே வழி அவரது வார்த்தைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதுதான். ஆம், தேவ குரலுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்தவர்களாக வாழ்வோம்; நமது வாழ்க்கையால் அவருக்கு நன்றிசெலுத்துவோம்.

AATHAVAN — Tuesday, 28 October 2025

“What injustice did your fathers find in Me, That they went far from Me, And walked after emptiness and became empty?” — Jeremiah 2:5 (NASB)

In a family, there are times when a dearly loved son or daughter becomes emotionally distant from their parents. They may stop speaking to them and choose to stay away. Yet, those same parents would have lovingly cared for that child from childhood—feeding, guiding, protecting, and shaping their present well-being. How painful it must be for those parents when their grown children turn away and refuse even to speak with them!

In today’s meditation verse, we hear God expressing a similar sorrow toward His people Israel:

“What injustice did your fathers find in Me, that they went far from Me, And walked after emptiness and became empty?” (Jeremiah 2:5, NASB)

In the preceding verses, God speaks through the prophet Jeremiah, saying:

“Hear the word of the Lord, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel.

Thus says the Lord, ‘What injustice did your fathers find in Me,
That they went far from Me
And walked after emptiness and became empty?
They did not say, ‘Where is the Lord who brought us up out of the land of Egypt,
Who led us through the wilderness,
Through a land of deserts and of pits,
Through a land of drought and of deep darkness,
Through a land that no one crossed and where no man dwelt?’”
— Jeremiah 2:4–6 (NASB)

The Lord reminds them: “I delivered your fathers from bondage in Egypt. I led them through a vast and terrifying wilderness — a land of deserts, pits, drought, and deep darkness, where no one travelled or lived. I guided them safely into a land flowing with milk and honey.”

Yet even after such divine goodness, their fathers forgot the Lord. And now God asks them with deep grief, “What injustice did you find in Me, that you went far from Me, and pursued emptiness?”

Let us pause and reflect on this in our own lives. Has not God done countless good things for us too? Think back to your life ten years ago — how it was then, and how it is today. Surely, God has blessed, led, and lifted us in many ways. But are we truly grateful? Or have we slowly drifted away, forgetting Him in the midst of our blessings?

If we live in ingratitude and disunity with Him, then just as He questioned the people of Israel, He may also lovingly ask us: “My son, My daughter, what injustice did you find in Me, that you went far from Me, and pursued emptiness?”

The Apostle Paul gives us a gentle reminder:

“Let the peace of Christ, to which you were indeed called in one body, rule in your hearts; and be thankful.” — Colossians 3:15 (NASB)

At all times, we must live with a heart of gratitude. And the only true way to show our thankfulness to God is through obedience to His Word.

Yes — let us live as those who heed the voice of God.

Let our lives themselves become our thanksgiving to Him.

🦋 Meditation verse - யோவான் 5 : 25 / John 5:25

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1724                                            ஆதவன் 27.10.2025 திங்கள்    

"மரித்தோர் தேவகுமாரனுடைய சத்தத்தைக் கேட்குங்காலம் வரும், அது இப்பொழுதே வந்திருக்கிறது; அதைக் கேட்கிறவர்கள் பிழைப்பார்கள் என்று மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்." ( யோவான் 5 : 25 )

யூதர்களுக்கு ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறும் இந்த வசனம், தேவனுடைய குமாரனின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்காதவர்கள் மரித்தவர்கள் என்று கூறுகின்றது.  அன்பானவர்களே, இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் குரலுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்காவிட்டால் நம்மில் உயிர் இருக்காது. "ஏனெனில் பிதாவானவர் தம்மில் தாமே ஜீவனுடையவராயிருக்கிறதுபோல, குமாரனும் தம்மில்தாமே ஜீவனுடையவராயிருக்கும்படி அருள் செய்திருக்கிறார்." ( யோவான் 5 : 26 ) ஜீவனுள்ள குமாரனாகிய கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் ஜீவன் இருக்கின்றது. 

பெதஸ்தா குளக்கரையில் முப்பத்தியெட்டு ஆண்டுகாலமாக படுத்தப்படுகையாகக் கிடந்த மனிதனை இயேசு கிறிஸ்து குணமாக்கினார். ஆனால், அதனை ஓய்வுநாளில் செய்ததால் யூதர்கள் இயேசுவின்மேல் குற்றம் கண்டுபிடித்தனர். காரணம், மனிதநேயமற்ற செத்தவர்களாக அவர்கள் இருந்தனர். அவர்களோடு உரையாடியபோது இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தைக் கூறுகின்றார். "மரித்தோர் தேவகுமாரனுடைய சத்தத்தைக் கேட்குங்காலம் வரும், அது இப்பொழுதே வந்திருக்கிறது" என்று கூறினார். ஆனால் அந்தக் காலத்தை யூதர்கள் பயன்படுத்திக்கொள்ளவில்லை. 

இன்றும் ஆவியில் உயிரில்லாத மனிதர்கள் உலகினில் பலர் உண்டு. அவர்கள் உயிர்பெறவேண்டுமானால் கிறிஸ்துவின் குரலுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கவேண்டியது அவசியமாக இருக்கின்றது. "அதைக் கேட்கிறவர்கள் பிழைப்பார்கள் என்று மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்" என்கின்றார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. 

கிறிஸ்துவின் வார்த்தையை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாமல் தள்ளுவோமானால் நாம் உயிரில்லாதவர்கள் மட்டுமல்ல, இறுதிநாளில் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பின்போது அவரது வசனமே நம்மை நியாயம்தீர்க்கும்.  "என்னைத் தள்ளி என் வார்த்தைகளை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாதவனை நியாயந்தீர்க்கிறதொன்றிருக்கிறது; நான் சொன்ன வசனமே அவனைக் கடைசிநாளில் நியாயந்தீர்க்கும்." (யோவான் 12:48) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறவில்லையா?

எனவே, தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையாம் கிறிஸ்துவை நாம் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போது நாம் உயிரடைவது மட்டுமல்ல, இறுதி நியாயத்தீர்ப்பின்போதும் தண்டனைக்குத் தப்புகின்றோம்.  எனவேதான், அதைக் கேட்கிறவர்கள் பிழைப்பார்கள் என்று மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் கூறினார். 

கிறிஸ்து உயிருடன் இந்த உலகத்தில் வாழ்ந்த நாட்களில் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டதுபோல தேவனுடைய குமாரனாகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் இரட்சிப்பின் நற்செய்தி சத்தம் ஆவியில் மரித்துப்போன மக்களுக்குப் பல்வேறு விதங்களில் இன்றும் அளிக்கப்பட்டு வருகின்றது. ஆனால் பலர் அன்று யூதர்கள் அவரைக் கேலிசெய்ததுபோல இன்றும் கேலிபேசிக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர்.  ஒவ்வொருவரும் தங்களது உண்மை நிலைமையை உணர்ந்து அந்தச் சத்தத்துக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது. அதனைக் கேட்கிறவர்கள் பிழைப்பார்கள்.  

ஆம், கிறிஸ்துமூலமாய் இரட்சிப்பின் செய்தி முதலில் மக்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது. "முதலாவது கர்த்தர் மூலமாய் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு, பின்பு அவரிடத்தில் கேட்டவர்களாலே நமக்கு உறுதியாக்கப்பட்டதும், அடையாளங்களினாலும் அற்புதங்களினாலும் பலவிதமான பலத்த செய்கைகளினாலும், தம்முடைய சித்தத்தின்படி பகிர்ந்துகொடுத்த பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் வரங்களினாலும், தேவன் தாமே சாட்சி கொடுத்ததுமாயிருக்கிற இவ்வளவு பெரிதான இரட்சிப்பைக்குறித்து நாம் கவலையற்றிருப்போமானால் தண்டனைக்கு எப்படித் தப்பித்துக்கொள்ளுவோம்." ( எபிரெயர் 2 : 3, 4 ) என்கிறார் எபிரேய நிருப ஆசிரியர். 

தேவ குமாரனாகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் சத்தத்துக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து உயிருள்ளவர்களாக மாறுவோம்; இறுதி நியாயத்தீர்ப்புத் தண்டனைக்குத் தப்பித்துக்கொள்வோம்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1724
AATHAVAN – Monday, October 27, 2025

“Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.” (John 5:25, NASB)

This verse spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ to the Jews reveals a profound truth: those who do not listen to the words of the Son of God are spiritually dead.

Beloved, if we do not listen to the voice of Jesus Christ, there is no life in us. “For just as the Father has life in Himself, so He gave to the Son also to have life in Himself.” (John 5:26, NASB) Life exists in Christ, the Living Son of God.

At the pool of Bethesda, Jesus healed a man who had been lying sick for thirty-eight years. But because He did this on the Sabbath, the Jews accused Him. They were spiritually lifeless, without compassion. It was during His conversation with them that Jesus declared today’s meditation verse: “An hour is coming and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God.” Yet, the Jews failed to receive that gracious moment.

Even today, many people in this world are spiritually dead. For them to live, it is essential that they listen to the voice of Christ. Jesus said, “Those who hear will live.”

If we reject the words of Christ, we are not only lifeless but will also stand condemned by His word on the day of judgment. Did not Jesus say,

“The one who rejects Me and does not accept My words has one who judges him; the word which I spoke—that will judge him on the last day.” (John 12:48, NASB)

Therefore, when we receive Christ—the Word of God—we not only obtain life but are also delivered from condemnation on the final day of judgment. That is why Jesus emphatically said, “Those who hear will live.”

Just as the voice of salvation was proclaimed during the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, so today that same saving message continues to reach people who are spiritually dead through various means. Yet, many still mock and reject it, just as the Jews did then.

Each of us must realize our true condition and listen attentively to that voice, for those who hear will live.

Yes, the message of salvation was first declared by the Lord Himself. As the author of Hebrews warns,

“How will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? After it was at first spoken through the Lord, it was confirmed to us by those who heard, God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will.” (Hebrews 2:3–4, NASB)

Let us, therefore, listen to the voice of the Son of God, Jesus Christ, and become truly alive—escaping the judgment to come.

🦋 Meditation verse - யோவான் 8 : 47 / John 8:47

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1723                                          ஆதவன் 26.10.2025 ஞாயிறு   

"தேவனால் உண்டானவன் தேவனுடைய வசனங்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கிறான்" ( யோவான் 8 : 47 ) 

ஒரு வீட்டில் பெற்றோருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து வாழும் பிள்ளைகள் பெற்றோர் கூறுவதற்குச் செவிகொடுப்பவர்களாக இருப்பார்கள். ஆனால், சில குடும்பங்களில் எல்லா பிள்ளைகளும் அப்படிப் பெற்றோருக்குக்  கீழ்ப்படிந்து வாழ்வதில்லை. பெற்றோர் எவ்வளவுதான் அன்புசெய்து அவர்களைப் பராமரித்தாலும் அவர்கள் கீழ்ப்படிவதில்லை. இதுபோலவே, உலகிலுள்ள எல்லா மனிதர்களும் தேவனால் உண்டாக்கப்பட்டவர்கள்தான்; அவரால் பராமரிக்கப்படுபவர்கள்தான்.  ஆனால், எல்லோரும் அவருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதில்லை. 

ஆனால், தேவ வசனங்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து வாழ்பவர்களே வேத அடிப்படையில் தேவனால் உண்டானவர்கள். நாம் தேவனால் உண்டானவர்கள் என்பதை உணர்த்துக்கொண்டால் அவருக்குக் காத்திருந்து அவர் வார்த்தைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடுப்போம். எனவேதான் "தேவனால் உண்டானவன் தேவனுடைய வசனங்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கிறான்" ( யோவான் 8 : 47 ) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக்  கூறினார். 

அப்படியானால் தேவனுக்குச் செவிகொடாதவர்கள் யார்? அவர்கள் பிசாசானவனால் உண்டானவர்கள் என்றார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. அவர் தனக்குச் செவிகொடாத யூதர்களைப்பார்த்துக் கூறினார், "நீங்கள் உங்கள் பிதாவாகிய பிசாசானவனால் உண்டானவர்கள்; உங்கள் பிதாவினுடைய இச்சைகளின்படி செய்ய மனதாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்; அவன் ஆதிமுதற்கொண்டு மனுஷகொலைபாதகனாயிருக்கிறான்; சத்தியம் அவனிடத்திலில்லாதபடியால் அவன் சத்தியத்திலே நிலைநிற்கவில்லை; அவன் பொய்யனும் பொய்க்குப்பிதாவுமாயிருக்கிறபடியால் அவன் பொய்பேசும்போது தன் சொந்தத்தில் எடுத்துப் பேசுகிறான்." ( யோவான் 8 : 44 )

அதாவது தேவ வசனத்துக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாதவர்கள்  தங்களது பிதாவாகிய பிசாசின் இச்சைகளின்படி செய்ய மனதாயிருக்கிறார்கள். மேலும் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறியதன்படிப் பார்த்தால்  அவர்கள், மனுஷகொலைபாதகர்கள்; சத்தியம் இல்லாதவர்கள்; பொய்யர்கள். நாம் தேவனால் உண்டானவர்களா இல்லை பிசாசானவனால் உண்டானவர்களா என்பதை நமது பக்தி முயற்சிகளோ, ஆராதனைகளோ வெளிப்படுத்துவதில்லை. மாறாக தேவனது வசனத்துக்கு எந்த அளவு நாம் செவிகொடுக்கின்றோம் என்பதே வெளிப்படுத்தும். 

நான் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வின் ஆரம்பகாலத்தில் சென்ற ஆவிக்குரிய ஆலயத்தின் போதகர் மிகச்சிறப்பாக தேவனது வார்த்தைகளை பிரசங்கங்கம்  செய்வார். அவரும் மிகச்சிறந்த ஆவிக்குரிய மனிதர். ஞாயிற்றுக் கிழமைகளில் அந்த ஆலயத்தின் முன்வரிசையில் அமர்ந்திருக்கும் இரண்டு நபர்கள் கைகளை உயர்த்தி, துள்ளிக் குதித்து ஆராதிப்பதை பார்த்து நான் ஆச்சரியப்படுவதுண்டு. ஆனால் அந்தப் போதகர் ஆராதனை முடிந்தபின்னர் அவர்களைத் தனியே அழைத்துத் தேவன் தனக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தியதை அவர்களுக்குக் கூறிக் கண்டிப்பார். எனக்கு முதலில் இது குறித்து எதுவும் புரியவில்லை.  

ஆனால் பின்னர் அந்த இரண்டு நபர்களைப்பற்றி ஒரு நபர்மூலம் அறிந்துகொண்டேன். ஆலயத்தில் துள்ளிக் குதிக்கும் அவர்கள் ஒரே இடத்தில்  வியாபாரம் செய்பவர்கள். அவர்கள் இருவருக்கும் தொழில் போட்டி இருந்தது. ஆலயத்தில் ஆவியில் நிறைந்து துள்ளிக் குதிக்கும் அவர்கள் சண்டையிடும்போது ஒருவருக்கொருவர் கெட்டவார்த்தைகளால் திட்டிக்கொண்டும் சண்டை போட்டுக்கொண்டும் சாட்சிக்கேடாக வாழ்பவர்கள். அதே போட்டியில்தான் ஆலயத்திலும் போட்டிட்போட்டு ஆராதிக்கின்றனர். 

இது ஒரு உதாரணம்தான். பொதுவாக பல கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் இப்படித்தான் மற்றவர்களிடம் பொறாமையும், பகையுணர்வும், வெறுப்புணர்வும் கொண்டவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர். கிறிஸ்து கூறுவதன்படி இவர்கள் தேவனால் உண்டானவர்களல்ல. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, "தேவனால் உண்டானவன் தேவனுடைய வசனங்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கிறான்" அல்லாதவன் அவர்கள் பிதாவாகிய பிசாசானவனால் உண்டானவர்கள். நம்மை நாம் தேவனுக்கு உரியவர்கள் எனக் கருதினால் தேவ வசனங்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுப்பவர்களாக வாழ்வோம். பக்தி முயற்சிகளும் ஆராதனைகளும் இரண்டாம் பட்சமே!!

“He who is of God hears the words of God.” — John 8:47 

Children who live under the care and authority of their parents naturally listen to what their parents say. Yet, not every child in every family does so. Some disobey their parents, no matter how lovingly they are raised or how carefully they are nurtured.

In the same way, all human beings in this world are created by God and sustained by His grace — but not everyone obeys Him.

Only those who listen to and live by the Word of God are, according to the Scriptures, truly born of God. When we realize that we are of God, we will wait upon Him and give careful attention to His Word. That is why Jesus Christ said, “He who is of God hears the words of God.” — John 8:47 NASB

Then who are those who do not listen to God? Jesus said that they are those who belong to the devil. Speaking to the Jews who refused to listen to Him, Jesus declared:

“You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he tells a lie, he speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies.” — John 8:44 NASB

This means that those who refuse to obey the Word of God choose to do the desires of their father, the devil. According to the words of Jesus Christ, such people are murderers, devoid of truth, and liars.

It is not our religious efforts or acts of worship that reveal whether we belong to God or to the devil. Rather, it is how attentively we listen to and obey God’s Word that reveals our true identity.

When I was a young believer, I used to attend a church where the pastor was a deeply spiritual man and a powerful preacher of God’s Word. On Sundays, I noticed two people sitting in the front row, worshiping passionately — lifting their hands, leaping, and praising God with great emotion. I often wondered about their zeal.

But after the service, the pastor would sometimes call them aside and gently correct them about things God had revealed to him. At that time, I didn’t understand why.

Later, I learned from another believer that those two men were business competitors. Though they worshiped fervently in church, outside they were constantly quarrelling — cursing one another with harsh words and damaging their witness before others. Even their worship seemed to be driven by rivalry rather than reverence.

This is just one example. Sadly, many Christians today harbour jealousy, bitterness, and resentment toward others. According to the words of Christ, such people are not born of God.

Yes, beloved, “He who is of God hears the words of God.” Those who do not are of their father, the devil. If we truly believe we belong to God, let us live as people who listen to His Word with obedience and humility. Our piety and worship are secondary — obedience to God’s Word is what truly matters.

🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 58 : 11 / Isaiah 58:11

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1722                                           ஆதவன் 25.10.2025 சனி  

"கர்த்தர் நித்தமும் உன்னை நடத்தி, மகா வறட்சியான காலங்களில் உன் ஆத்துமாவைத் திருப்தியாக்கி, உன் எலும்புகளை நிணமுள்ளதாக்குவார்; நீ நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சலான தோட்டத்தைப் போலவும், வற்றாத நீரூற்றைப்போலவும் இருப்பாய்." ( ஏசாயா 58 : 11 )

ஆசீர்வாதமான வாக்குத்தத்தங்களை கேட்கும்போதும், வாசிக்கும்போதும் எல்லோருக்கும் மகிழ்ச்சியுண்டாகின்றது. இன்றைய தியான வசனம் அப்படித்தான் நம்மை மகிழ்ச்சியடையச் செய்கின்றது. பலரும் இத்தகைய வாக்குத்தத்தங்களைத் தேடியே வேதாகமத்தை வாசிக்கின்றனர்; பல கிறிஸ்தவ ஊழியர்களும் இவைகளைப் பொறுக்கியெடுத்தே பிரசங்கிக்கின்றனர். 

பொதுவாக எல்லா தேவ வாக்குத்தத்தங்களைப்போலவே இந்த தேவ வாக்குறுதியும் ஒரு நிபந்தனையைக் கொண்டுள்ளது. நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சலான தோட்டம், வற்றாத நீரூற்று  போல நாம் இருக்கவேண்டுமென்றால் என்னசெய்யவேண்டும் என ஒரு நிபந்தனை இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின் முந்தின வசனத்தில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. "பசியுள்ளவனிடத்தில் உன் ஆத்துமாவைச் சாய்த்து, சிறுமைப்பட்ட ஆத்துமாவைத் திருப்தியாக்கினால், அப்பொழுது இருளில் உன் வெளிச்சம் உதித்து, உன் அந்தகாரம் மத்தியானத்தைப் போலாகும்." ( ஏசாயா 58 : 10 ) அதாவது சுருக்கமாக, ஏழைகளுக்கு உதவிடவேண்டும் என்று  இந்த வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

"பசியுள்ளவனிடத்தில் உன் ஆத்துமாவைச் சாய்த்து, சிறுமைப்பட்ட ஆத்துமாவைத் திருப்தியாக்கினால்" என்பது நாம் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ள நிபந்தனை. இந்த வசனம் கூறும் பசியுள்ளவர்கள், சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்கள் என்பன வெளிப்பார்வைக்குத் தெரிவதுபோல உலக பொருளாதார வறுமையைக்குறித்தும் ஆகாரக் குறைவைக்குறித்தும் மட்டும் குறிப்பிடவில்லை; மாறாக, ஆத்துமாவில் பசியுள்ளவர்களையும் குறிக்கின்றது. மெய்யான தேவனை வாழ்வில் அறியாமல் ஆத்தும திருப்தியில்லாமல் அலையும் மக்கள் பசியுள்ளவர்கள்தான்.  பல்வேறு உலக துன்பங்களால் நொறுக்கப்பட்டு ஆவியில் சிறுமையடைந்து அலையும் மக்கள் பசியுள்ளவர்கள்தான்.  "ஆவியில் எளிமையுள்ளவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்; பரலோகராஜ்யம் அவர்களுடையது." ( மத்தேயு 5 : 3 ) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் கூறவில்லையா?

மேலும் இதுபோல, நம்மிடம் இருப்பதை தேவையில் இருக்கும் மக்களுக்குப் பகிர்ந்து கொடுப்பதும் பசியுள்ளவனுக்கு இரங்குவதுதான். அன்று கோவில் வாசலில் பிச்சையெடுத்துக்கொண்டிருந்த மனிதனுக்குக் கொடுக்க பேதுருவிடமும் யோவானிடமும் பொருள் எதுவும் இல்லை. ஆனால் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இருந்தார். பேதுரு அந்த இயேசுவின் வல்லமையால் அந்தப் பிச்சைக்காரனுக்கு சுகம் கொடுத்தார். "அப்பொழுது பேதுரு: வெள்ளியும் பொன்னும் என்னிடத்திலில்லை; என்னிடத்திலுள்ளதை உனக்குத் தருகிறேன்; நசரேயனாகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் நாமத்தினாலே நீ எழுந்து நட என்று சொல்லி, வலதுகையினால் அவனைப் பிடித்துத் தூக்கிவிட்டான்; உடனே அவனுடைய கால்களும் கரடுகளும் பெலன் கொண்டன. ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 3 : 6, 7 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து எந்த இடத்திலும் பிச்சைகொடுத்ததாக நாம் வாசிக்கவில்லை. ஆனால், "உங்களுக்கு உண்டானவைகளில் பிச்சை கொடுங்கள், அப்பொழுது சகலமும் உங்களுக்குச் சுத்தமாயிருக்கும்." (லூக்கா 11:41) என்று கூறினார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, எனவே இப்படி நம்மிடமிருக்கும் பொருளாலும், திறமைகளாலும் தேவைப்படும் மக்களுக்கு உதவுவதும் பசியுள்ளவர்களுக்கு உதவுவதுதான். 

இப்படித் தேவையிலுள்ளவர்களுக்கும் சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களுக்கும் நம்மாலான உதவிகளை நாம் செய்யும்போது கர்த்தர் நித்தமும் நம்மை நடத்தி, மகா வறட்சியான காலங்களில் நமது ஆத்துமாக்களைத் திருப்தியாக்கி, நமது எலும்புகளை நிணமுள்ளதாக்குவார்; அதாவது ஆத்துமாவிலும் உலக பொருளாதார அளவிலும் நம்மைப் பலமுள்ளவர்களாக மாற்றுவார். அப்போது நாம் நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சலான தோட்டத்தைப் போலவும், வற்றாத நீரூற்றைப்போலவும் இருப்போம்.

“Inside the Seeds” 🌳

Scripture Meditation No. 1722
AATHAVAN – Saturday, 25 October 2025

“And the LORD will continually guide you, and satisfy your desire in scorched places, and give strength to your bones; and you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.” (Isaiah 58:11, NASB)

Everyone rejoices when hearing or reading blessed promises. Today’s meditation verse is one such verse that brings us joy. Many people read the Bible searching for promises like these; and many Christian ministers also select such verses to preach about.

In general, like all the promises of God, this divine promise also carries a condition. If we are to become a watered garden and a spring whose waters do not fail, there is something we must do. That condition is mentioned in the preceding verse of today’s meditation passage:

“And if you offer yourself to the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then your light will rise in darkness, and your gloom will become like midday.” (Isaiah 58:10, NASB) In short, this verse says that we must help the poor.

“If you draw out your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul” — this is the condition given for us to be blessed. The “hungry” and the “afflicted” mentioned in this verse do not merely refer to those who are economically poor or lacking in food as it may seem outwardly; rather, it also points to those who are hungry in their souls. People who wander without true satisfaction because they do not know the living God are indeed the hungry ones. Those who are crushed by various trials of the world and broken in spirit are also the hungry ones. Did not Jesus Christ say, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven”? (Matthew 5:3)

Likewise, when we share what we have with those who are in need, we are showing mercy to the hungry.

At the temple gate, Peter and John had no money to give to the man who begged for alms. But they had the Lord Jesus Christ with them. Through His power, they were able to bring healing to that man.

“But Peter said, ‘I do not have silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—walk!’ And seizing him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened.” (Acts 3:6–7, NASB)

We do not read anywhere that our Lord Jesus Christ ever gave alms. Yet He said: “But give that which is within as charity, and then all things are clean for you.” (Luke 11:41, NASB)

Yes, dear beloved, when we share what we have—whether our possessions or our abilities—with those in need, that is truly helping the hungry.

When we extend our help to those in need and to the afflicted, the Lord will continually guide us, satisfy our souls even in times of severe drought, and make our bones strong. That means He will meet our needs and make us strong both spiritually and materially. Then we shall be like a well-watered garden and like a spring whose waters never fail.

🦋 Meditation verse - ஓசியா 2 : 19 / Hosea 2:19

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1721                                           ஆதவன் 24.10.2025 வெள்ளி 

"நித்திய விவாகத்துக்கென்று உன்னை எனக்கு நியமித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்; நீதியும் நியாயமும் கிருபையும் உருக்க இரக்கமுமாய் உன்னை எனக்கு நியமித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்." ( ஓசியா 2 : 19 )

கிறிஸ்தவ விசுவாசிகள் அனைவருக்கும் கிறிஸ்து மணவாளன்; நாம் அவரது மணவாட்டிகள் அல்லது மணப்பெண்கள். வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷத்தில் மணவாளன் மணவாட்டி என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. கிறிஸ்துவின் சபையும் விசுவாசிகளுமே மணவாட்டிகள். கிறிஸ்துவே மணவாளன். 

இன்று கர்த்தர்  "நித்திய விவாகத்துக்கென்று உன்னை எனக்கு நியமித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்" என்கின்றார். நான் உன்னை எனது வாழ்க்கைத் துணையாக ஏற்றுகொள்ளத் தயாராக இருக்கிறேன் என்று ஒருவர் மற்றவரிடம் கூறுவதுபோல உள்ளது இது. அதாவது நம்மை அவருக்கு உரியவர்களாக மாற்றுவேன் என்கின்றார். இந்த உலகத்துக்குரிய திருமணங்கள் பலவேளைகளில் முறிவடைந்து விவாகரத்தில் போய் முடிவடையும். ஆனால் அப்படியில்லாமல் கிறிஸ்துவுடனான விவாகம் நித்தியமானது; முடிவில்லாதது. 

விசுவாசி ஒருவர் மீட்பு அனுபவம் பெறுகிறார் என்றால், அவரை தேவன் தனது மணவாட்டியாகத் தெரிந்துள்ளார் என்று பொருள். இப்படி கிறிஸ்து ஒருவரைத் தெரிந்துகொள்வது அவரது கிருபையினால்தான். இதனையே இன்றைய வசனத்தில், "நீதியும் நியாயமும் கிருபையும் உருக்க இரக்கமுமாய் உன்னை எனக்கு நியமித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்." என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் அடிகளும் கூறியுள்ளார். "கிருபையினாலே விசுவாசத்தைக் கொண்டு இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டீர்கள்; இது உங்களால் உண்டானதல்ல, இது தேவனுடைய ஈவு." ( எபேசியர் 2 : 8 ) ஆம், கிறிஸ்து நம்மைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு அவரை நமக்கு வெளிப்படுத்துவது அவரது கிருபையினால்தான். 

இன்றைய வசனத்தில் நம்மை அவருக்கு மணவாட்டியாக அவர் தெரிந்துகொள்வேன் என்று கூறுகின்றார்.  அடுத்த வசனத்தில் அவர் கூறுகின்றார், "உண்மையாய் உன்னை எனக்கு நியமித்துக் கொள்ளுவேன்; நீ கர்த்தரை அறிந்துகொள்ளுவாய்." ( ஓசியா 2 : 20 ) ஆம், நாம் அவரால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்படும்போதுதான் மேலான சத்தியங்களை அறிந்து கர்த்தரை அறிந்துகொள்ளமுடியும். 

அன்பானவர்களே, இந்த உலகத்திலுள்ள எல்லா ஆசீர்வாதங்களிலும் மிகப் பெரிய ஆசீர்வாதம் கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்துகொள்வதுதான். நாம் ஒவ்வொருவரையுமே தனக்கு ஏற்புடையவர்களாக தெரிந்துகொள்ள கிறிஸ்து விரும்புகின்றார். ஆனால் அதற்கு நமது பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்படவேண்டியது அவசியம். நாம் நமது உள்ளத்தினை எந்த ஒளிவுமறைவுமின்றி அவரிடம் திறந்து காட்டவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது.  உண்மையான நீண்ட மண உறவுக்கு ஒளிவு மறைவு இல்லாத வாழ்க்கை அவசியம். 

மாய்மால வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்துகொண்டு வெறும் ஆராதனையிலும் வழிபாடுகளிலும் காலத்தைக் கழித்துக்கொண்டு வாழ்வதில் அர்த்தமில்லை; அவரை நாம் தனிப்பட்ட விதத்தில் அறியவேண்டியதே அவசியம். அதற்கு நாம் நமது மாய்மாலங்களை விட்டுவிட்டு நமது உள்ளத்தினை எந்த ஒளிவுமறைவுமின்றி அவரிடம் திறந்து காட்டவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது. 

நமது வாழ்க்கையின் எல்லா குறை நிறைகளும் அவருக்குத் தெரியும். எனவே நாம் அவருக்கு அஞ்சவேண்டியதில்லை. "ஆண்டவரே, எனது உண்மையான நிலைமை இதுதான்" என்று நமது பாவ நிலைமையை அவரிடம் அறிக்கையிட்டு மன்னிப்பை  வேண்டுவோம். "நம்முடைய பாவங்களை நாம் அறிக்கையிட்டால், பாவங்களை நமக்கு மன்னித்து எல்லா அநியாயத்தையும் நீக்கி நம்மைச் சுத்திகரிப்பதற்கு அவர் உண்மையும் நீதியும் உள்ளவராயிருக்கிறார். "( I யோவான் 1:9) 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, "நித்திய விவாகத்துக்கென்று உன்னை எனக்கு நியமித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்; நீதியும் நியாயமும் கிருபையும் உருக்க இரக்கமுமாய் உன்னை எனக்கு நியமித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்." என்கின்றார் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. நம்மை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள அவர் தயார்; அவரை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள நாம் தயாரா?

“I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and in justice, In favour and in compassion.” (Hosea 2:19 NASB)

For every Christian believer, Christ is the Bridegroom, and we are His bride. The Book of Revelation reveals this divine mystery — the Bridegroom and His Bride. The Church and the believers form the Bride, and Christ alone is the Bridegroom.

Today, the Lord says, “I will betroth you to Me forever.” It is as though He is saying, “I am ready to accept you as My life partner.” In other words, He promises to make us His own. Earthly marriages often end in disappointment or divorce, but the marriage with Christ is eternal and unbreakable.

When a believer experiences salvation, it means that God has chosen that person as His bride. Christ’s choosing is purely an act of His grace. That is why today’s verse says, “I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and in justice, in favour and in compassion.” The Apostle Paul also echoes this truth:

“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.” (Ephesians 2:8 NASB)

Yes, it is purely by His grace that Christ knows us and reveals Himself to us.

In the next verse, the Lord adds: “And I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness. Then you will know the Lord.” (Hosea 2:20 NASB)

Indeed, only when He chooses and unites us with Himself can we truly know Him and understand deeper truths.

Dear beloved, among all the blessings in this world, the greatest blessing is to know Christ personally. Christ longs to know each of us intimately as His own. But for that to happen, our sins must be forgiven. We must open our hearts to Him — without hiding anything. A genuine and lasting relationship requires a transparent life.

There is no meaning in living a superficial Christian life — spending our days in mere worship and rituals without truly knowing Him. We must leave behind all false appearances and open our inner being honestly before Him.

He already knows all our weaknesses and shortcomings. Therefore, there is no need to fear. Let us say, “Lord, this is my true condition,” and confess our sins to Him.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9 NASB)

Yes, beloved, the Lord Jesus Christ says, “I will betroth you to Me forever; I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and in justice, in favour and in compassion.”
He is ready to accept us — are we ready to accept Him?

🦋 Meditation verse - யோபு 23: 12 / Job 23:12

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1720                                           ஆதவன் 23.10.2025 வியாழன்    

"அவர் உதடுகளின் கற்பனைகளை விட்டு நான் பின்வாங்குவதில்லை; அவருடைய வாயின் வார்த்தைகளை எனக்கு வேண்டிய ஆகாரத்தைப் பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாய்க் காத்துக்கொண்டேன்." (யோபு 23: 12) 

கொரோனா காலத்தை நம்மில் யாரும் மறந்திருக்கமாட்டோம். பகல் நேரமும் இரவு பன்னிரெண்டு மணிபோல சாலைகள் வெறிச்சோடிக்கிடக்க பகலில் சாலையில் நடப்பவர்களைத் திருடர்களைப் பிடிப்பதுபோல போலீசார் பிடித்து விசாரணை செய்த காலக்கட்டம் அது. அத்தியாவசிய உணவுக்குக்கூட யாரும் வெளியே எளிதில் சென்றுவிடமுடியாது; சென்றாலும் எதுவும் கிடைக்காது. 

அப்போது பலரும் உணவுப்பொருட்களை வீடுகளில் பதுக்கிவைத்து கவனமாக உண்டனர். அதுபோல தேவனது வாயின் வார்த்தைகளைத்  தனக்கு வேண்டிய ஆகாரத்தைப் பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாய்க் காத்துக்கொண்டததாக  யோபு கூறுகின்றார். வீடுகளில் உணவுகள் கெட்டுப்போகாமல் இருக்க நாம் குளிர்சாதனப் பெட்டிகளில் சேகரித்து வைக்கின்றோம். இங்கோ பக்தனான யோபு தனது இருதயமான பெட்டியில் தேவ வார்த்தைகளைப் பாதுகாத்து வைத்துள்ளேன் என்கின்றார்.

உணவினைப் பாதுகாத்து வைப்பது மட்டும் முக்கியமல்ல, அதனைத் தகுந்த முறையில் பயன்படுத்தவேண்டியதும் அவசியம். எத்தனை கவனமாக நாம் உணவினைப் பாதுகாத்தாலும் அதனைப் பயன்படுத்தாவிட்டால் எந்தப் பயனுமில்லை.  தேவனது வார்த்தையான உணவினை யோபு பாதுகாத்து வைத்தது மட்டுமல்ல அதனைத் தனது வாழ்வில் பயன்படுத்தினார். இதனையே அவர், "அவர் உதடுகளின் கற்பனைகளை விட்டு நான் பின்வாங்குவதில்லை" என்று கூறுகின்றார். ஆம், தேவ வார்த்தையான உணவினை நாம் பாதுகாத்து அந்த வார்த்தைகளின்படி நடக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

தேவனது வார்த்தைகள் எனும் உணவு நமக்கு வேதாகமம் மூலம் அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அவற்றை நாம் எப்படி உண்ணுகின்றோம் என்பதே முக்கியம். ஏனெனில் தேவனது கிருபையின் காலத்தில் தேவ வசனமாகிய உணவு நமக்குக் கிடைக்கின்றது. ஆனால் இந்த உணவு கிடைக்காத பஞ்சம் வரும் என்று வேதம் நம்மை எச்சரிக்கின்றது. "இதோ, நான் தேசத்தின்மேல் பஞ்சத்தை அனுப்பும் நாட்கள் வரும்; ஆகாரக் குறைவினால் உண்டாகிய பஞ்சமல்ல, ஜலக்குறைவினால் உண்டாகிய தாகமுமல்ல, கர்த்தருடைய வசனம் கேட்கக் கிடையாத பஞ்சத்தை அனுப்புவேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்." (ஆமோஸ் 8:11)

வேத வசனங்களை சுவைத்து உண்ணும் ஆர்வம் நமக்கு இருக்குமானால் அவற்றை நாம் நமது உள்ளத்திலும் காத்துக்கொள்வோம். எசேக்கியேல் தீர்க்கதரிசிக்கு தேவன் அளித்த வார்தைகளைக்குறித்து அவர், "மனுபுத்திரனே, நான் உனக்குக் கொடுக்கிற இந்தச் சுருளை நீ உன் வயிற்றிலே உட்கொண்டு, அதினால் உன் குடல்களை நிரப்புவாயாக என்றார்; அப்பொழுது நான் அதைப் புசித்தேன்; அது என் வாய்க்குத் தேனைப்போல் தித்திப்பாயிருந்தது" (எசேக்கியேல்3;3)  என்கின்றார். 

மேலும், ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையாக இருக்கிறார். "ஆதியிலே வார்த்தை இருந்தது, அந்த வார்த்தை தேவனிடத்திலிருந்தது, அந்த வார்த்தை தேவனாயிருந்தது.' ( யோவான் 1 : 1 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். அந்த வார்த்தையான இயேசு கிறிஸ்து உயிருள்ள உணவாகவும் இருக்கின்றார்.   "ஜீவ அப்பம் நானே, என்னிடத்தில் வருகிறவன் ஒருக்காலும் பசியடையான், என்னிடத்தில் விசுவாசமாயிருக்கிறவன் ஒருக்காலும் தாகமடையான்." ( யோவான் 6 : 35 ) என்று தன்னை "ஜீவ அப்பம்" என்று குறிப்பிட்டார். ஆம், வாழ்வளிக்கும் வார்த்தையான அவரே உயிரளிக்கும் உணவுமாக இருக்கின்றார்.  

பக்தனாகிய யோபு தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைகளைத் தனது இருதயத்தில் பாதுகாத்ததுபோல நாம் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை நமது இருதயத்தில் பாதுகாத்து வைக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம்; எசேக்கியேலைப்போல அவரைச் சுவைத்து உண்ணவேண்டியது அவசியம். அவர் நம் ஒவ்வொருவர் உள்ளத்திலும் வந்து தங்கிட ஆர்வமுள்ளவராக இருக்கின்றார். "இதோ, வாசற்படியிலே நின்று தட்டுகிறேன்; ஒருவன் என் சத்தத்தைக்கேட்டு, கதவைத் திறந்தால், அவனிடத்தில் நான் பிரவேசித்து, அவனோடே போஜனம்பண்ணுவேன், அவனும் என்னோடே போஜனம்பண்ணுவான்." (வெளி 3:20) என்கிறார் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. 

தேவ வார்த்தையான கிறிஸ்து எனும் உணவினை உள்ளத்தில் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வோம்; சுவைப்போம்; ஆகாரத்தைப் பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாய் நமக்குள் அவரைக் காத்துக்கொள்வோம்.  அப்படியானால் யோபு கூறுவதுபோல அவர் உதடுகளின் கற்பனைகளை விட்டு நாம் ஒருபோதும் பின்வாங்கமாட்டோம்.

“Inside the Seeds” 🌳

AATHAVAN – Thursday, 23 October 2025

“I have not departed from the command of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.” — Job 23:12 (NASB)

None of us will ever forget the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a season when even during the day, the streets were as empty as midnight. Those who dared to walk outside were questioned by the police as if they were suspects. People could hardly step out to buy essentials, and even when they did, little was available.

During those days, many stored foods carefully at home and ate sparingly. In a similar way, Job says that he treasured the words of God’s mouth more than his daily food. Just as we store perishable food safely in refrigerators to keep it from spoiling, Job stored God’s Word in the refrigerator of his heart.

However, merely storing food is not enough—it must be used at the right time. No matter how carefully we preserve it, food has no value unless it is eaten. Likewise, Job not only stored God’s Word in his heart but also lived by it. That’s why he said, “I have not departed from the command of His lips.” Yes, it is not enough to keep the Word—we must walk according to it.

The spiritual food—God’s Word—is given to us through the Bible. What matters most is how we receive and “eat” it. During this age of grace, God’s Word is freely available to us. Yet the Bible warns of a coming famine—not of bread or water, but of hearing the Word of the Lord:

“Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord God, “When I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine for bread or a thirst for water, But rather for hearing the words of the Lord.” — Amos 8:11 (NASB)

If we truly desire to taste and enjoy the Word of God, we will store it in our hearts. The prophet Ezekiel described his experience this way:

“Son of man, feed your stomach and fill your body with this scroll which I am giving you.” Then I ate it, and it was sweet as honey in my mouth. — Ezekiel 3:3 (NASB)

Moreover, the Lord Jesus Christ is the Word of God. We read, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1) That Word—Jesus Christ—is also the Living Bread. He said of Himself, “I am the Bread of Life; he that cometh to Me shall never hunger, and he that believeth on Me shall never thirst.” (John 6:35) Yes, the One who is the life-giving Word is also the life-giving Bread.

Just as Job treasured God’s Word in his heart, we must also keep the Lord Jesus—the Living Word—within our hearts. Like Ezekiel, we must taste and consume Him spiritually. The Lord longs to dwell within us, saying:

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.” — Revelation 3:20 (NASB)

Let us therefore receive Christ—the Living Word—into our hearts. Let us taste and delight in Him. Let us treasure Him more than our daily bread. Then, like Job, we too will never turn away from the command of His lips.
