🦋 Meditation verse - எபிரெயர் 11 : 7 / Hebrews 11:7

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1719                                           ஆதவன் 22.10.2025 புதன்    

"விசுவாசத்தினாலே நோவா தற்காலத்திலே காணாதவைகளைக் குறித்துத்  தேவ எச்சரிப்புப்பெற்று, பயபக்தியுள்ளவனாகி, தன் குடும்பத்தை இரட்சிப்பதற்குப் பேழையை உண்டுபண்ணினான்; அதனாலே அவன் உலகம் ஆக்கினைக்குள்ளானதென்று தீர்த்து, விசுவாசத்தினாலுண்டாகும் நீதிக்குச் சுதந்தரவாளியானான்." ( எபிரெயர் 11 : 7 )

நாம் நீதியுள்ள ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வதுடன் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் முழு விசுவாசம் கொண்டவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியதும் அவசியம்; அவரோடு ஐக்கியமான ஒரு உறவுடன் வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். நோவா அப்படித்தான் வாழ்ந்தார்.  "நோவா தன் காலத்தில் இருந்தவர்களுக்குள்ளே நீதிமானும் உத்தமனுமாயிருந்தான்; நோவா தேவனோடே சஞ்சரித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தான்." ( ஆதியாகமம் 6 : 9 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

இந்த நோவா  நீதிமானாக மட்டுமல்லாமல் கர்த்தர்மேல் பூரண விசுவாசமுள்ளவனாக இருந்ததால் ஆசீர்வாதம் பெற்றார்.  "விசுவாசத்தினாலே நோவா தற்காலத்திலே காணாதவைகளைக் குறித்து தேவ எச்சரிப்புப்பெற்று, பயபக்தியுள்ளவனாகி, தன் குடும்பத்தை இரட்சிப்பதற்குப் பேழையை உண்டுபண்ணினான்." என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

பூமியிலே மனிதர்களுடைய பாவம் பெருகியதால் தேவன் மனவருத்தம் கொண்டார். பூமியிலுள்ள அனைத்து உயிர்களையும் அழித்து ஒழிக்க எண்ணம்கொண்டார். இதனை நாம், "மனுஷனுடைய அக்கிரமம் பூமியிலே பெருகினது என்றும், அவன் இருதயத்து நினைவுகளின் தோற்றமெல்லாம் நித்தமும் பொல்லாததே என்றும், கர்த்தர் கண்டு, தாம் பூமியிலே மனுஷனை உண்டாக்கினதற்காகக் கர்த்தர் மனஸ்தாபப்பட்டார்; அது அவர் இருதயத்துக்கு விசனமாயிருந்தது". ( ஆதியாகமம் 6 : 5, 6 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

நோவா நீதியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்ததால், "நோவாவுக்கோ, கர்த்தருடைய கண்களில் கிருபை கிடைத்தது." ( ஆதியாகமம் 6 : 8 ) எனவே தேவன் அவருக்குத் தான் பூமியிலுள்ள அனைத்தையும் அழிக்க திட்டம்கொண்டதை வெளிப்படுத்தினார். அவன் "தற்காலத்திலே காணாதவைகளைக் குறித்து இவ்வாறு தேவ எச்சரிப்புப்பெற்று, பயபக்தியுள்ளவனாகி, தன் குடும்பத்தை இரட்சிப்பதற்குப் பேழையை உண்டுபண்ணினான்." 

அன்பானவர்களே, அன்று நோவா பேழையை உருவாக்கியபோது அதனைப் பார்த்தவர்கள், "இந்தக் கிழவன் பைத்தியக்காரன்" என்று எண்ணியிருப்பார்கள். வரப்போகின்ற அழிவை நோவா அவர்களுக்கு எடுத்துச்சொல்லி அவர்களை மனம்திரும்புதலுக்கு அறிவுறுத்தியபோதும் அவன் கூறியதை நம்பியிருக்கமாட்டார்கள்.  "அதனாலே அவன் உலகம் ஆக்கினைக்குள்ளானதென்று தீர்த்து, விசுவாசத்தினாலுண்டாகும் நீதிக்குச் சுதந்தரவாளியானான்."

விசுவாசத்தினாலே நோவா காணாதவைகளைக் குறித்து தேவ எச்சரிப்பு பெற்று செய்தி அளித்ததுபோல இன்றும் மக்களுக்கு எச்சரிப்பின் செய்தி பல்வேறு விதங்களில் அளிக்கப்பட்டுவருகின்றது. பல்வேறு தேவ ஊழியர்களின்  பிரசங்கங்கள், கட்டுரைகள், ஒளிப்பட வீடியோக்கள் வாயிலாக தேவ எச்சரிப்பின் செய்தி மக்களுக்கு அளிக்கப்படுகின்றது. ஆனால் அன்று நோவாவை அற்பமாக, பைத்தியக்காரனாகப் பார்த்ததுபோல இப்படிச்   செய்தியை அளிப்பவர்களையும் இன்று உலகம் பார்க்கின்றது; ஆம், கிறித்தவர்களே பலநேரங்களில் இத்தகைய எச்சரிப்பின் செய்திகளை நம்புவதில்லை. 

அன்று தேவனை விசுவாசித்து ஏற்றுக்கொண்ட நோவா விசுவாசத்தினாலுண்டாகும் நீதிக்குச் சுதந்தரவாளியானான். அதுபோல, தேவனது எச்சரிப்பின் செய்தியை விசுவாசித்து ஏற்றுக்கொள்வோமானால் மட்டுமே நாமும் அந்த தேவ நீதிக்குச் சுதந்திரவாளியாக முடியும். "விசுவாசத்தினாலே நீதிமான் பிழைப்பான், பின்வாங்கிப்போவானானால் அவன்மேல் என் ஆத்துமா பிரியமாயிராது." ( எபிரெயர் 10 : 38 ) என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1719
AATHAVAN – Wednesday, October 22, 2025

“By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world, and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.”
(Hebrews 11:7, NASB)

It is essential that we not only live a righteous life but also have complete faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, maintaining a deep, abiding relationship with Him. Noah lived such a life. The Scripture says,

“Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation; Noah walked with God.” (Genesis 6:9, NASB)

Noah was not only righteous but also full of unwavering faith in the Lord. Because of that faith, he received God’s blessing. As today’s verse reminds us,

“By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household.” (Hebrews 11:7, NASB)

When the sins of humankind increased upon the earth, God was grieved. He determined to destroy all living beings on the earth. We read,

“Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of mankind was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of their hearts was only evil continually. So the Lord was sorry that He had made mankind on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.” (Genesis 6:5–6, NASB)

However, because Noah lived a righteous life,

“But Noah found favour in the eyes of the Lord.” (Genesis 6:8, NASB)

God revealed His plan of destruction to Noah. Having received divine warning about events not yet seen, Noah, in godly fear, built the ark to save his family.

Dearly beloved, when Noah began to build the ark, those who saw him probably thought, “This old man has lost his mind!” Even though Noah warned them of the coming destruction and called them to repentance, they did not believe his words. Thus, “He condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.” (Hebrews 11:7, NASB)

Just as Noah, by faith, responded to God’s warning about unseen things, today too, God’s message of warning is being proclaimed in many ways — through sermons, writings, and visual media shared by God’s servants. Yet, just as the people of Noah’s time despised him and thought him foolish, even today many view these messengers with the same contempt. Sadly, even many Christians hesitate to believe such messages of warning.

But Noah, who believed and obeyed God, became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith. In the same way, only when we believe and accept God’s warnings by faith can we also become heirs of His righteousness.

“But My righteous one will live by faith; and if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” (Hebrews 10:38, NASB)

Let us, therefore, walk in faith like Noah — living righteously, believing God’s word, and holding fast to His warnings until the end.

🦋 Meditation verse - எபேசியர் 5 : 14 / Ephesians 5:14

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1718                                          ஆதவன் 21.10.2025 செவ்வாய்   

"ஆதலால், தூங்குகிற நீ விழித்து, மரித்தோரை விட்டு எழுந்திரு, அப்பொழுது கிறிஸ்து உன்னைப் பிரகாசிப்பிப்பாரென்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்." ( எபேசியர் 5 : 14 )

ஆவிக்குரிய சிந்தனையே இல்லாமல் உலக காரியங்களையே எண்ணி அவற்றுக்காகவே உழைத்துக் கொண்டிருந்தோமானால் நாம் இருளடைந்தவர்களாக இருப்போம். நம்மைக்கொண்டு யாருக்கும் எந்த பயனுமிராது. ஆத்தும காரியங்களைக்குறித்து எந்தவித சிந்தனையுமில்லாமல் உலக காரியங்களையே எண்ணி வாழ்வதை தூக்கம் அல்லது செத்துப்போன வாழ்க்கை என்று அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் குறிப்பிடுகின்றார். இப்படி மரித்தவன்போல வாழும் நீ உனது தூக்கத்தைவிட்டு எழுந்திருந்தால் கர்த்தர் உன்னைப் பிரகாசிக்கச் செய்வார் என்று கூறுகின்றார் அவர். 

உலக காரியங்களில் அதிகமான தூக்கம் மனிதனின் வாழ்வை நாசமாக்கும். தூங்குவதற்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்து நமது அன்றாட வேலைகளைச் செய்யாமலிருந்தால் தரித்திரம்தான் நம்மைத் தொடரும். " ................ தூக்கம் கந்தைகளை உடுத்துவிக்கும்." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 23 : 21 ) என்கின்றது நீதிமொழிகள். அதாவது சோம்பலாய் தூக்கத்திலேயே நாட்டம்கொண்டு இருப்போமானால் உடுத்துவதற்கு நல்ல ஆடை கூட இல்லாத நிலைமை ஏற்பட்டு கந்தலைக் கட்டிக்கொண்டு திரியவேண்டியிருக்கும்.

இதுபோலவே ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்விலும் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குரிய நாமோ தூங்குவதற்கல்ல, மாறாக விழித்திருந்து செயல்படவும் அவர் வரும்போது அவரை எதிர்கொண்டுச் செல்லத் தகுதியுள்ளவர்களாகவும் வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். எனவேதான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் கூறினார், "அப்படியே நீங்களும் விழித்திருங்கள்; ஏனெனில், வீட்டெஜமான் சாயங்காலத்திலோ, நடுராத்திரியிலோ, சேவல் கூவும் நேரத்திலோ, காலையிலோ, எப்பொழுது வருவான் என்று நீங்கள் அறியீர்கள்." ( மாற்கு 13 : 35 )

ஆவிக்குரிய எண்ணமில்லாமல் இருப்பவர்களை அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் இரவுக்குரியவர்கள் என்றும் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கை வாழ்பவர்களை பகலுக்குரியவர்கள் என்றும் கூறுகின்றார். "தூங்குகிறவர்கள் இராத்திரியிலே தூங்குவார்கள்; வெறிகொள்ளுகிறவர்கள் இராத்திரியிலே வெறிகொள்ளுவார்கள். பகலுக்குரியவர்களாகிய நாமோ தெளிந்தவர்களாயிருந்து, விசுவாசம் அன்பு என்னும் மார்க்கவசத்தையும், இரட்சிப்பின் நம்பிக்கையென்னும் தலைச்சீராவையும் தரித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கக்கடவோம்." ( 1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 5 : 7, 8 ) என்கின்றார். 

ஆவிக்குரிய எண்ணமில்லாமல் வாழ்வது உயிருடன் இருந்தும் மரித்துப்போன வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வதற்குச் சமம். எனவே, ஆவிக்குரிய தூக்கத்தில் இருக்கின்ற நாம் விழித்து, மரித்தோரை விட்டு எழுந்திருக்க வேண்டியது அவசியம்.  அப்பொழுது மட்டுமே கிறிஸ்து நம்மைப் பிரகாசிக்கச் செய்ய  முடியும். கிறிஸ்து நம்மைப் பிரகாசிப்பிக்கும்போது மட்டுமே நம்மூலம் மற்றவர்கள் கிறிஸ்துவைக் கண்டுகொள்ளமுடியும். 

கிறிஸ்துவோடு நம்மை இணைத்துக்கொண்டு ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் வளருவோமானால் கிறிஸ்துவின் மெய்யான ஒளி நம்மேல் துலங்கும். இதனையே, "அப்பொழுது கிறிஸ்து உன்னைப் பிரகாசிப்பிப்பாரென்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்." என்கின்றார் பவுல்.  "ஆகையால், மற்றவர்கள் தூங்குகிறதுபோல நாம் தூங்காமல், விழித்துக்கொண்டு தெளிந்தவர்களாயிருக்கக்கடவோம்." ( 1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 5 : 6 )

தேவனுடைய வீடாகிய நமது உடலும் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கையும் விழிப்புள்ளதாகவும் உயிருள்ளதாகவும் இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். ஏனெனில் வீட்டு எஜமான் எப்போது வருவார் என்று நமக்குத் தெரியாது.  "நீங்கள் நினையாதவேளையில் அவன் வந்து, உங்களைத் தூங்குகிறவர்களாகக் கண்டுபிடியாதபடிக்கு விழித்திருங்கள்." ( மாற்கு 13 : 36 ) என்கின்றார் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. ஒரு வகுப்பறையில் மாணவன் எப்போதும் தூங்கிக்கொண்டு இருப்பானென்றால் அவனால் எப்படித் தேர்வைச் சிறப்பாகச் சந்திக்கமுடியும்? 

நமது உடலானது பலவீனமானதுதான்; ஆனால் நமது ஆவி உற்சாகமுள்ளதாக இருக்கட்டும். உற்சாகமுள்ள ஆவியினால் நாம் செய்யும் விண்ணப்பங்களை தேவன் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வார். நமக்குப் பெலன் தருவார். எனவேதான்,  "நீங்கள் சோதனைக்குட்படாதபடிக்கு விழித்திருந்து ஜெபம்பண்ணுங்கள். ஆவி உற்சாகமுள்ளதுதான், மாம்சமோ பலவீனமுள்ளது என்றார்." ( மாற்கு 14 : 38 ) இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. தூங்குகின்ற நாம் விழித்து மரித்தோரை விட்டு எழுந்திருப்போம்,  அப்பொழுது கிறிஸ்து நம்மைப் பிரகாசிப்பிப்பார்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1718
AATHAVAN – Tuesday, 21 October 2025

“For this reason, it says, ‘Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you.’” (Ephesians 5:14, NASB)

If our thoughts are only fixed on worldly matters, striving merely for earthly things without any spiritual reflection, we are as those dwelling in darkness. Our lives will not benefit anyone. The Apostle Paul describes living without spiritual awareness—focused only on worldly affairs—as being asleep or spiritually dead. He urges us to rise from that slumber, assuring that when we awaken, the Lord will shine His light upon us.

Excessive attachment to worldly comfort leads to ruin. If one prioritizes sleep and neglects daily responsibilities, poverty will soon follow. As Proverbs warns:

“...Drowsiness will clothe one with rags.” (Proverbs 23:21, NASB)

That is, if we remain lazy and indulge in sleep, we will not even have proper clothing to wear, but end up wrapped in rags.

Similarly, in our spiritual lives, we are not called to sleep but to stay awake, active, and prepared to meet Christ when He comes. That is why Jesus said:

“Therefore, stay alert—for you do not know when the master of the house is coming, whether in the evening, at midnight, when the rooster crows, or in the morning.”
(Mark 13:35, NASB)

Paul also compares those without spiritual awareness to people of the night, while those who live in the Spirit he calls people of the day:

“For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who are drunk, get drunk at night. But since we are of the day, let’s be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation.” (1 Thessalonians 5:7–8, NASB)

To live without spiritual thought is to be alive yet dead. Therefore, we must awaken from our spiritual slumber and rise from among the dead. Only then can Christ make us shine. When Christ shines on us, others will see Christ through us.

When we unite ourselves with Christ and grow in our spiritual life, His true light will radiate through us. As Paul affirms, “And Christ will shine on you.” Hence, “So then, let’s not sleep as others do, but let’s be alert and sober.” (1 Thessalonians 5:6, NASB)

Our bodies, which are the temple of God, and our spiritual life must remain awake and alive. For we do not know when the Master will return. Jesus Himself warned:

“Stay alert, so that He does not come suddenly and find you asleep.” (Mark 13:36, NASB) If a student keeps sleeping in class, how can he perform well in the examination? Likewise, we must not sleep through our spiritual duties.

Our body may be weak, but our spirit must remain fervent. A zealous spirit makes our prayers acceptable to God, who strengthens us. Thus Jesus said:

“Keep watching and praying, so that you will not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Mark 14:38, NASB)

Let us therefore awake from our sleep and rise from among the dead, so that Christ may shine upon us.

🦋 Meditation verse - ரோமர் 8 : 1 / Romans 8:1

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1717                                          ஆதவன் 20.10.2025 திங்கள்  

     

"ஆனபடியால், கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குட்பட்டவர்களாயிருந்து, மாம்சத்தின்படி நடவாமல் ஆவியின்படியே நடக்கிறவர்களுக்கு ஆக்கினைத்தீர்ப்பில்லை." ( ரோமர் 8 : 1 )

இந்த உலகமுடிவில் தேவனது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புக்குமுன் நாம் அனைவரும் நிற்கவேண்டியது வரும் என்று வேதம் நம்மை எச்சரிக்கின்றது. நியாயத்தீர்ப்புக்குப்பின் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடைய வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்தவர்கள் நித்திய ஜீவன் எனும் முடிவில்லா வாழ்வினை அடைவார்கள்; துன்மார்க்கர்கள் நித்திய நரக அக்கினிக்கு இரையாவார்கள்.  இந்த நரக  அக்கினிக்கு இரையாவதே ஆக்கினைத் தீர்ப்பு. மாம்சத்தின்படி நடவாமல் ஆவியின்படியே நடக்கிறவர்களுக்கு இந்த ஆக்கினைத்தீர்ப்பில்லை என்று இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

ஏன் ஆக்கினைத் தீர்ப்பு இல்லையென்றால், ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து நமக்குத் தரும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் எல்லா சத்திய வழியிலும் நம்மை நடத்துவதால்தான். "சத்திய ஆவியாகிய அவர் வரும்போது, சகல சத்தியத்திற்குள்ளும் உங்களை நடத்துவார்; அவர் தம்முடைய சுயமாய்ப் பேசாமல், தாம் கேள்விப்பட்டவைகள் யாவையுஞ்சொல்லி, வரப்போகிற காரியங்களை உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பார்." (யோவான் 16:13) என்றார் இயேசு. சத்திய ஆவியானவர் நமக்குக் காண்பிக்கும் வழியில் நாம் நடக்கும்போது நாம் தேவனுக்கு எதிராகச் செயல்படுவதற்கு வாய்ப்பே இல்லை. எனவே, நமக்கு ஆக்கினைத்தீர்ப்பில்லை. 

மேலும் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் கூறினார், "நான் உங்களுக்கு உண்மையைச் சொல்லுகிறேன்; நான் போகிறது உங்களுக்குப் பிரயோஜனமாயிருக்கும்; நான் போகாதிருந்தால், தேற்றரவாளன் உங்களிடத்தில் வரார்; நான் போவேனேயாகில் அவரை உங்களிடத்திற்கு அனுப்புவேன்.. அவர் வந்து, பாவத்தைக்குறித்தும், நீதியைக்குறித்தும், நியாயத்தீர்ப்பைக் குறித்தும், உலகத்தைக் கண்டித்து உணர்த்துவார்". (யோவான் 16:7,8) இப்படிப்   பாவத்தைக்குறித்தும், நீதியைக்குறித்தும், அவர் நம்மைக் கண்டித்து உணர்த்துவதால் நாம் பாவம் செய்ய மாட்டோம். எனவே, நமக்கு ஆக்கினைத்தீர்ப்பில்லை. 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம், தெளிவாகக் கூறுகின்றது, " கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்கு உட்பட்டவர்களாயிருந்து, மாம்சத்தின்படி நடவாமல்" என்று. அதாவது நாம் நமது உடலின் இச்சைகளின்படி நடவாமல்  கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்கு உட்பட்டவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். இந்த உலகினில் தங்களைக் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொள்ளும் பலரும் பொதுவாகத்  தங்களுக்கு கிறிஸ்துவும் வேண்டும் உலக இச்சைகளும் வேண்டும் என்று விரும்புகின்றார்கள். எனவே,  அவர்கள் தங்களது மனம்போல வாழ்கின்றனர்; கிறிஸ்துவை பெயரளவில் ஆராதிக்கின்றனர். 

அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் இப்படியில்லாமல் நம்மை ஆவியின்படி நடக்க ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கவேண்டும். ஆவியானவரின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்கும் அனுபவம் நமக்கு வேண்டும். இன்று பலரும் வேத வசனங்களை கேட்கின்றனர். ஒரே வசனத்தைத் தாங்கள்  பிறந்ததுமுதல் கேட்டுக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர்; அதன் உள்ளார்ந்த பொருளைப் புரிந்துகொள்ளவில்லை; எனவே, அதனைத்  தங்களது வாழ்க்கை அனுபவமாக்குவதில்லை. 

ஆவியானவர் எச்சரிக்கையுடன் கூறுகின்றார், இன்று இந்த வேத வசனத்தைக் கேட்கும்போது, "இது என்ன எனக்குத் தெரிந்த வசனம்தானே ? இவன் என்னப் புதிதாகச் சொல்லிவிடப்போகிறான்?"  என்று எண்ணினீர்களென்றால் இந்த வசனம்  உங்களில் செயல்புரிய நீங்களே தடையாக இருக்கின்றீர்களென்று பொருள். "ஆண்டவரே, ஆவியால் வழிநடத்தப்படும் இந்த மேலான அனுபவத்தை எனக்குத் தாரும்" என்று ஜெபிப்பீர்களென்றால் தேவன் நிச்சயமாக இந்த அனுபவத்தால் உங்களை நிரப்புவார். ஆம், "கேட்கிற எவனும் பெற்றுக்கொள்கிறான்."

Scripture Meditation No. 1717
AATHAVAN – Monday, 20 October 2025

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.” — Romans 8:1 (NASB)

The Bible warns us that one day we will all stand before God’s righteous judgment at the end of the world. After this judgment, those who have lived in a manner pleasing to God will receive eternal life — life without end. But the wicked will face eternal punishment in the fiery hell. This fiery punishment is what the Scripture calls condemnation.

Today’s verse declares that there is no condemnation for those who walk according to the Spirit and not according to the flesh.

Why is there no condemnation for them? Because the Lord Jesus Christ has given us the Holy Spirit, who leads us in all truth. Jesus said,

“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.” — John 16:13 (NASB)

When we walk in the path shown by the Spirit of Truth, we do not act against God. Therefore, we are not under condemnation.

Jesus also said, “But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment.” — John 16:7–8 (NASB)

Because the Holy Spirit convicts us of sin and righteousness, we are led to turn away from sin. Hence, there is no condemnation for us.

Today’s key verse clearly says, “Those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh.” This means that we must not live according to the desires of the body but live as those who belong to Christ Jesus.

Sadly, many who call themselves Christians today desire both Christ and the pleasures of the world. They live as they please, worshiping Christ only in name.

Dear beloved, let us not be like them. We must yield ourselves to walk according to the Spirit. We must experience the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to us. Many people hear Bible verses repeatedly — perhaps the same verses they’ve known since childhood — but they have not understood their deeper meaning; therefore, the Word has not become a personal experience in their lives.

The Holy Spirit gently warns us: if, while hearing today’s verse, you think, “I already know this verse. What new thing can he say?” — then you are the very reason this Word cannot work in you. Instead, pray: “Lord, grant me the higher experience of being led by Your Spirit.” Surely, God will fill you with that divine experience.

Yes, “For everyone who asks, receives.”

🦋 Meditation verse - 1 யோவான் 3 : 22 / 1 John 3:22

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1716                                           ஆதவன் 19.10.2025 ஞாயிறு 

"அவருடைய கற்பனைகளை நாம் கைக்கொண்டு அவருக்குமுன்பாகப் பிரியமானவைகளைச் செய்கிறபடியினால் நாம் வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறதெதுவோ அதை அவராலே பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறோம்." ( 1 யோவான்  3 : 22 )

தேவனிடமிருந்து நாம் ஒன்றைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளவேண்டுமானால் முதலில் நாம் அவரது கற்பனைகளைக் கடைபிடிக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. ஆனால் இந்த உலகத்தில் தேவனை அறியாதவர்களும், ஜெபிக்காதவர்களும்கூட பல ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெற்று வாழ்வதை நாம் காண்கின்றோம். காரணம் என்னவென்றால்,   தேவன் தனது கிருபையால் எல்லோருக்கும் உதவிகள் செய்கின்றார். அவரை விசுவாசிப்பவர்கள், விசுவாசியாதவர்கள், அவருக்கு எதிராகச் செயல்படுபவர்கள் எல்லோரையும் அவர் பராமரிக்கின்றார்.  துன்மார்க்கர்களும் உலகினில் பல ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெற்று வாழ்கின்றனர். 

இப்படி இருந்தாலும், அவரது கற்பனைகளின்படி வாழ்பவர்களை அவர் சிறப்பாகக் கவனிக்கின்றார். இதற்கு பள்ளி ஆசிரியர்களைக்கொண்டு விளக்கம் தருவது எளிதில் புரிந்துகொள்ள ஏதுவாக இருக்குமென்று எண்ணுகின்றேன். வகுப்பில் படிக்கும் மாணவர்களில் பல மாணவர்கள் நன்றாகப் படிப்பவர்களாக இருக்கலாம். ஆனால் எல்லோரும் கீழ்ப்படித்தலிலும், ஒழுக்கத்திலும் சிறப்பாக இருப்பதில்லை. ஆனால் ஒரு மாணவன் நன்றாகப் படிப்பது மட்டுமல்லாமல் ஆசிரியருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து பள்ளியின் சட்டதிட்டங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து ஒழுக்கமாக  நடப்பானென்றால் அவனிடம் ஆசிரியர் தனி அன்பு கொள்வாரல்லவா? 

இதுபோல,  ஒரு குடும்பத்தில் எந்த மகன் தாய் தந்தையருக்கு ஏற்புடையச் செயலைச் செய்து அவர்களுக்குப்  பிரியமாக நடக்கின்றானோ அவனைப் பெற்றோர் அதிகம் அன்பு செய்வதில்லையா? தினமும் குடித்து ஊர்ச்சுற்றிக்கொண்டு கெட்ட நண்பர்களுடன் சேர்ந்து பொழுதைக்கழிக்கும் மகனிடம் குடும்பத்துப் பொறுப்பையும் இரகசியங்களையும் பகிர்ந்துகொள்வார்களா? 

அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு, "தேவன் பட்சபாதமுள்ளவரல்ல என்றும், எந்த ஜனத்திலாயினும் அவருக்குப் பயந்திருந்து நீதியைச் செய்கிறவன் எவனோ அவனே அவருக்கு உகந்தவன் என்றும் நிச்சயமாய் அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 10 : 34, 35 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். அதாவது, தேவனை அறியாத மக்களும் நீதியான வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது அவருக்கு உகந்தவர்கள் ஆகின்றனர். ஆனால் நாம் தேவனுக்கு உகந்தவர்களாக அல்ல; மாறாக அவரது சொந்த பிள்ளைகளாக வாழ அழைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம். பிள்ளைகளுடைய உரிமைப்பேறு சிறப்பானது. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் தேவனது கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு வாழும்போது நாம் அவரது பிள்ளைகளாகின்றோம்; அப்போது, தேவன் நம்மில் மகிழ்ச்சிக்கொள்வது மட்டுமல்ல, அவர் நம்மில்வந்து நிலைத்திருக்கின்றார் என்று கூறுகின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான யோவான். "அவருடைய கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் அவரில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறான், அவரும் அவனில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறார்; அவர் நம்மில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறதை அவர் நமக்குத் தந்தருளின ஆவியினாலே அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்." ( 1 யோவான்  3 : 24 )

மேலும், இப்படித் தேவனின் நிலைத்திருக்கும் மனிதன் தேவ சித்தமறிந்து விண்ணப்பம் செய்பவனாக இருப்பான். காரணம் அவன் அவரது மகன் / மகள் என்பதால்  தகப்பனது சித்தம் அவர்களுக்கு முழுமையாகத் தெரியும்.  இப்படி வாழும்போது, "நாம் எதையாகிலும் அவருடைய சித்தத்தின்படி கேட்டால், அவர் நமக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கிறாரென்பதே அவரைப் பற்றி நாம் கொண்டிருக்கிற தைரியம்." ( 1 யோவான்  5 : 14 )  தேவன் சிலவேளைகளில் நமது ஜெபங்களுக்கு உடனேயே பதில் தந்து மகிழச்செய்வார்.  ஆனால், மேஜிக் போல உடனேயே நமது எல்லா விண்ணப்பங்களும் தேவன் எப்போதும் பதில் தருவதில்லை. பலவேளைகளில் நமது காத்திருத்தலை அவர் எதிர்பார்க்கின்றார். 

அவரது கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு அவருக்குமுன்பாகப் பிரியமானவைகளைச் செய்து நாம் பொறுமையுடன் காத்திருக்கவேண்டியதும் அவசியமாகும். "நீங்கள் தேவனுடைய சித்தத்தின்படிசெய்து, வாக்குத்தத்தம்பண்ணப்பட்டதைப் பெறும்படிக்குப் பொறுமை உங்களுக்கு வேண்டியதாயிருக்கிறது." ( எபிரெயர் 10 : 36 ). ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவ சித்தம் செய்து, பொறுமையுடன் காத்திருந்து தேவ ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வோம்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1716
AATHAVAN – Sunday, 19 October 2025

“And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.” — 1 John 3:22 (NASB)

The Scripture for today reminds us that if we desire to receive anything from God, we must first keep His commandments. Yet, when we look around, we see that even those who do not know God or pray to Him often live blessed lives. Why is that so?

It is because God, in His grace, helps everyone. He provides for both believers and unbelievers alike—even those who act against Him. The wicked too enjoy many blessings in this world.

However, among all people, God gives special attention to those who live according to His commandments. This can be better understood through a simple illustration from school life. In a classroom, many students may study well, but not all are obedient or disciplined. A student who not only studies well but also obeys the teacher and follows school rules earns a special affection from the teacher, doesn’t he?

Similarly, in a family, which son receives more love from his parents? The one who lives in a way that pleases them. Do parents share family responsibilities or secrets with a son who spends his days drinking and roaming with bad company? Certainly not.

The Apostle Peter declared,

“I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality, but in every nation the one who fears Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him.” — Acts 10:34–35 (NASB)

In other words, even those who do not yet know God are acceptable to Him when they live righteously. But we, who believe, are not merely called to be acceptable to God—we are called to live as His own children. The inheritance of the children is an excellent one.

Yes, beloved, when we keep God’s commandments, we become His children. The Apostle John says that not only does God take delight in us, but He also abides in us:

“The one who keeps His commandments remains in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He remains in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.” — 1 John 3:24 (NASB)

Such a person, who abides in God, also learns to discern the will of God and pray according to it. Since he is a son or daughter of the Father, he understands the Father’s will clearly. As a result, “This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” — 1 John 5:14 (NASB)

Sometimes, God graciously answers our prayers immediately, filling our hearts with joy. Yet, not every request is answered instantly like magic. Many times, God expects us to wait patiently.

Therefore, while keeping His commandments and doing what pleases Him, we must also learn to wait in patience. “For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.” — Hebrews 10:36 (NASB)

Yes, beloved, let us do the will of God, wait patiently, and receive the blessings that He has promised us.

🦋 Meditation verse - உன்னதப்பாட்டு 2 : 14 / Song of Solomon 2:14

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1715                                           ஆதவன் 18.10.2025 சனி    

"கன்மலையின் வெடிப்புகளிலும் சிகரங்களின் மறைவிடங்களிலும் தங்குகிற என் புறாவே! உன் முகரூபத்தை எனக்குக் காண்பி, உன் சத்தத்தை நான் கேட்கட்டும்; உன் சத்தம் இன்பமும், உன் முகரூபம் அழகுமாயிருக்கிறது என்றார்." ( உன்னதப்பாட்டு 2 : 14 )

சாலமோனின் உன்னதப்பாட்டு எனும் இலக்கிய நடையிலான உருவக நூலானது வேதாகமத்தின் தனித்துவமான நூலாக உள்ளது. உண்மையான காதல் உணர்வு பாவமல்ல என்பதனையும் தேவனுக்கும் மனிதனுக்கும் இடையிலான உறவு காதல் உணர்வுபோன்று இருக்கவேண்டுமென்றும் இந்நூல்மூலம் நாம் அறிகின்றோம். 

எப்போதும் தேவனிடம் எதையாகிலும் எதிர்பார்த்து ஜெபிக்கவேண்டும் எனும் பிச்சைக்கார மனநிலையை நாம் மாற்றி அவரை அன்புணர்வோடு அணுகும்போது  தேவனும் நம்மிடம் அன்பாக இருக்கின்றார். நம்மோடு நெருங்கி வருகின்றார் எனும் உண்மையினை இந்நூல் வாயிலாக நாம் உணர்ந்துகொள்கின்றோம்.

தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடைய வாழ்க்கை வாழும் ஆவிக்குரிய மனிதர்களை தேவன் கண்ணோக்கிப் பார்க்கின்றார். அவர்களோடு பேசுவதற்கு ஆர்வமுள்ளவராக இருக்கின்றார். பல்வேறு இக்கட்டுத் துன்பங்களால் வேதனையுற்று மனிதர்களால் புறக்கணிக்கப்பட்டு ஒதுங்கி வாழும் தனது பக்தர்களை தேவன், "கன்மலையின் வெடிப்புகளிலும் சிகரங்களின் மறைவிடங்களிலும் தங்குகிற என் புறாவே!" என்று அழைக்கின்றார். மகனே, மகளே நீ  கன்மலையின் வெடிப்புகளிலும் சிகரங்களின் மறைவிடங்களிலும் ஒளிந்து வாழ்வதுபோல வாழாதே, நான் உன்னைப் பார்க்க, உன்னோடு பேச ஆசைப்படுகின்றேன் என்கின்றார்.

அதனையே நாம், "உன் முகரூபத்தை எனக்குக் காண்பி, உன் சத்தத்தை நான் கேட்கட்டும்; உன் சத்தம் இன்பமும், உன் முகரூபம் அழகுமாயிருக்கிறது என்றார்" என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவன் நமது ஜெபத்தைக் கேட்க ஆவலுள்ளவராக இருக்கின்றார். உலகத்துக்கு நாம் வெறுக்கப்பட்டவர்களாக இருக்கலாம் ஆனால் தேவனுக்கு நாம் அழகானவர்கள்; உலகம் நமது குரலைப் புறக்கணிக்கலாம், ஆனால் தேவனுக்கு நமது சத்தம் இன்பமாக இருக்கின்றது. 

இன்று நாம் நமது வறுமை, வேலையில்லாமை போன்ற காரணங்களால் உறவினர்களாலும், நமது நண்பர்களாலும் கைவிடப்பட்டவர்களாக இருக்கலாம். அவர்களுக்கு வெட்கப்பட்டு நாம் கன்மலையின் வெடிப்புகளிலும் சிகரங்களின் மறைவிடங்களிலும் தங்குகிற புறாக்களைப்போல மறைந்து வாழ்பவர்களாக இருக்கலாம். பொது இடங்களில் மற்றவர்களோடு சேர்ந்து இருக்கும் தகுதி நமக்கு இல்லை என்று நமது மனமே நம்மைத் தனிமைப்படுத்தலாம். ஆனால் தேவன் நம்மை நேசிக்கின்றார்.  வீட்டிற்குள்ளேயே அடைபட்டு இருக்கும் நமது ஜெபங்களை தேவன்  கேட்கின்றார்; அவருக்கு நாம் இன்பமானவர்கள். 

இஸ்ரவேல் நாட்டிலுள்ள கழுகு இனங்களில் ஒன்று வயதானபின் சிறகுகள் உதிர்ந்து பறக்க முடியாமலும், இரைதேட முடியாமலும்  பெரிய கன்மலையின் பொந்துகளில் போய் ஒளிந்துகொண்டு அமைதியாகக் காத்திருக்குமாம். ஆனால் சில காலங்கள் கடந்தபின்னர் அவற்றின் இறகுகள் வளரத்துவங்கும். மீண்டும் அவை பெலனடைந்து வானில் சிறகடித்துப் பறக்கும். ஆம், இதுபோலவே,  "கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்களோ புதுப்பெலனடைந்து, கழுகுகளைப்போலச் செட்டைகளை அடித்து எழும்புவார்கள்; அவர்கள் ஓடினாலும் இளைப்படையார்கள், நடந்தாலும் சோர்ந்துபோகார்கள்".(ஏசாயா 40:31)

எனவே, இன்று கன்மலையின் வெடிப்புகளிலும் சிகரங்களின் மறைவிடங்களிலும் தங்குகிற புறாவாக நாம் இருந்தாலும் விசுவாசத்தை இழந்திடாமல் கர்த்தர் செயல்படும்வரை பொறுமையாகக் காத்திருப்போம். செட்டைகளை அடித்து எழும்பத்தக்கதாக தேவன் நம்மை உயர்த்துவார்.

AATHAVAN – Saturday, 18 October 2025

“O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, In the secret place of the steep pathway, Let me see your appearance, Let me hear your voice; For your voice is pleasant, And your appearance is lovely.” — Song of Solomon 2:14 (NASB)

The Song of Solomon, a poetic and symbolic book, stands as a unique treasure in the Holy Bible. Through this book, we understand that true love is not sinful, and that the relationship between God and man should reflect this deep, loving affection.

Instead of always approaching God with a beggar’s mindset—praying only to receive something—we are called to approach Him with love. When we come to Him in love, He too draws near to us in love. Through this beautiful song, we sense the truth that God longs for an intimate relationship with those who live a life pleasing to Him.

God lovingly looks upon His spiritual children—those who strive to live according to His will. He desires to speak with them. Even those who are wounded by suffering, rejected by people, or living in isolation, God calls out to them, saying:

“O My dove, in the clefts of the rock,

In the secret place of the steep pathway!”

It is as though God is saying, “My son, My daughter, do not continue hiding yourself among the cracks of the rocks or in the lonely heights. I long to see your face and hear your voice.”

We then read,

“Let me see your appearance; let me hear your voice; for your voice is pleasant, and your appearance is lovely.”

Yes, beloved! God delights to hear our prayers. The world may despise us, but to God, we are beautiful. People may ignore our voice, but to God, our voice is sweet and pleasing.

Perhaps today, because of poverty, unemployment, or life’s struggles, we may feel abandoned by relatives and friends. We may be living like the dove hiding in the clefts of the rock, ashamed and withdrawn. Our hearts may tell us that we are not worthy to be seen in public or to stand among others. Yet, God loves us deeply. Even the prayers we whisper quietly within our homes reach His ears—for to Him, our voice is pleasant.

In Israel, there is a species of eagle that, when it grows old, loses its feathers and can no longer fly or hunt. It retreats into the cliffs of the mountains and waits in silence. After a time, new feathers begin to grow, and the eagle regains its strength, soaring once again into the sky.

Likewise,

“Yet those who wait for the Lord

Will gain new strength;

They will mount up with wings like eagles,

They will run and not get tired,

They will walk and not become weary.” — Isaiah 40:31 (NASB)

Therefore, even if we now find ourselves like the dove in the clefts of the rock, let us not lose faith. Let us wait patiently for the Lord to act. He will renew our strength and lift us up to soar once again!

🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 44 : 2 / Isaiah 44:2

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1714                                          ஆதவன் 17.10.2025 வெள்ளி    

"உன்னை உண்டாக்கினவரும், தாயின் கர்ப்பத்தில் உன்னை உருவாக்கினவரும், உனக்குத் துணை செய்கிறவருமாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறதாவது: என் தாசனாகிய யாக்கோபே, நான் தெரிந்துகொண்ட யெஷூரனே, பயப்படாதே." ( ஏசாயா 44 : 2 )

மனிதர்கள் பொதுவாக இன்று பல்வேறுவித பயங்களால் தத்தளித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர். சிலர் நன்றாக வாழும்போதும் எதிர்மறையான எண்ணங்களால் பயத்துடன் வாழ்கின்றனர்.  தங்கள் பிள்ளைகளின் எதிர்காலம்குறித்து பயம், அவர்களது படிப்பு, திருமண காரியங்களைக்குறித்து பயம், உலகத்தில் ஏற்படும் பல்வேறு நோய்நொடிகளைக் கண்டு பயம்,  திடீரென ஏற்படும் மரணங்களைக் காணும்போது பயம் ...இப்படி மனிதர்களது பயங்கள் நீண்டுகொண்டே போகின்றன.

எனவேதான் வேதாகமத்தின் பழைய ஏற்பாட்டில்  பல்வேறு இடங்களில் தேவன், "பயப்படாதே" என்று நம்மைத் தைரியப்படுத்துகின்றார். ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும் "பயப்படாதே விசுவாசமுள்ளவனாய் இரு" என்று தன்னிடம் வந்த நோயாளிகளைத் திடப்படுத்தினார். 

உளவியல் பார்வையில் பயத்தின் வகைகள் குறித்து பேசும்போது, அவற்றை பெரும்பாலும் இயற்கையாகப் பிறவியிலேயே உள்ள பயங்கள் மற்றும் அனுபவத்தின் மூலம் கற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படும் பயங்கள் என இருவகைப்படுத்துகின்றார்கள். இயற்கையான (Innate) பயங்கள் என்பவை நாம் பிறந்தபோதே நம்முள் பதியப்பட்டிருக்கும், பரிணாம வளர்ச்சியின் மூலம் நமது மூளையில் ஆழமாக பதிந்திருக்கும் பயங்கள் ஆகும். இதற்கு உயரமான இடங்களிலிருந்து பார்க்கும்போது உண்டாகும் பயம், பெரும் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்கும்போது உண்டாகும் பயம், திடீர் இயக்கங்களின் பயம் போன்றவை எடுத்துக்காட்டாகும். 

அனுபவ பயங்கள் என்பவை நமது  அனுபவம் அல்லது பார்வையின் மூலம் உருவாகும் பயங்களாகும். குழந்தை பருவத்தில் இருளின் பயம் போன்ற எளிய பயங்களிலிருந்து, பெரியவர்களின் பொது மேடையில் பேசும்போது ஏற்படும் பயம் போன்றவைகளை இதற்கு உதாரணம் கூறலாம்.  

ஆனால் எந்தப் பயமாக இருந்தாலும் தேவனால் அவற்றிலிருந்து நம்மை விடுவிக்கமுடியும். நம்மைத் தாயின் வயிற்றில் உருவானதுமுதல் பாதுகாத்து வருபவர் நமது தேவன். எத்தனையோ குழந்தைகள் தாயின் வயிற்றிலேயே இறந்துபோய்விடுகின்றன. சில பிறக்கும்போது இறக்கின்றன. வறுமை காரணமாக ஐந்து வயதாகுமுன் பல குழந்தைகள் இறக்கின்றன. ஆனால் இவை அனைத்திலுமிருந்து நம்மைப் பாதுகாத்து இந்தச் செய்தியை வாசிக்கும் இந்தநாள்வரை நம்மைக் கொண்டுவந்துள்ளார். 

இதற்குக் காரணம் தேவனது சுத்தக்  கிருபையே. எனவேதான் இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுகின்றது, "தாயின் கர்ப்பத்தில் உன்னை உருவாக்கினவரும், உனக்குத் துணை செய்கிறவருமாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறதாவது: என் தாசனாகிய யாக்கோபே, நான் தெரிந்துகொண்ட யெஷூரனே, பயப்படாதே" என்று. ஆம், இம்மட்டும் கைவிட தேவன் இனியும் கைவிடமாட்டார். 

அப்போஸ்தலரான யோவான் கூறுகின்றார், "அன்பிலே பயமில்லை; பூரண அன்பு பயத்தைப் புறம்பே தள்ளும்; பயமானது வேதனையுள்ளது, பயப்படுகிறவன் அன்பில் பூரணப்பட்டவன் அல்ல." ( 1 யோவான்  4 : 18 ) என்று. அதாவது நாம் தேவன்மேல் பூரண அன்பு கொண்டு வாழ்வோமானால் பயம் நம்மைவிட்டு அகன்றுவிடும். காரணம், அகிலத்தையே படைத்த தேவன் நம்மோடு இருக்கின்றார் எனும் தைரியம். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, என்ன நடந்தாலும் பயப்படாமல் வாழ்வை எதிர்கொள்வோம். தேவனது கிருபையின் கரங்கள் நம்மோடு இருக்கின்றன என விசுவாசிப்போம்.

"மலைகள் விலகினாலும், பர்வதங்கள் நிலைபெயர்ந்தாலும், என் கிருபை உன்னைவிட்டு விலகாமலும், என் சமாதானத்தின் உடன்படிக்கை நிலைபெயராமலும் இருக்கும் என்று, உன்மேல் மனதுருகுகிற கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்." ( ஏசாயா 54 : 10 ) எனவே, பயப்படாமல் தைரியமாக வாழ்வைத் தொடருவோம்.

AATHAVAN – Friday, 17 October 2025

“This is what the Lord says, He who made you and formed you from the womb, who will help you: ‘Do not fear, My servant Jacob; and you Jeshurun whom I have chosen.’” — Isaiah 44:2 (NASB)

Today, many people are struggling under various kinds of fear. Even those who seem to live comfortably often carry hidden anxieties. Some fear for their children’s future—their studies, their marriages, or their stability in life. Others are afraid of diseases spreading across the world, or of sudden deaths they see around them. Human fears seem endless.

That is why, throughout the Old Testament, God repeatedly strengthens His people with the words, “Do not fear.” The Lord Jesus Christ, too, comforted those who came to Him for healing, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe.”

From a psychological perspective, fear can generally be categorized into innate fears and learned fears.

Innate fears are those we are born with—deeply wired into our brains through evolution and human survival. Examples include fear of heights, fear of loud noises, or fear of sudden movements.

Learned fears, on the other hand, develop through experience or observation. These range from a child’s fear of the dark to an adult’s fear of speaking in public.

Yet, whatever the type of fear, God alone can deliver us from it. From the moment we were formed in our mother’s womb, God has been our protector. Many children die in the womb, some at birth, and many others before they even reach five years of age due to poverty or disease. But God has graciously preserved us until this very day—to read and reflect on this message.

It is purely by His grace that we are alive today. That is why the Scripture reminds us again: “He who made you, who formed you from the womb, and who helps you says: ‘Do not fear, My servant Jacob, and you Jeshurun whom I have chosen.’” — Isaiah 44:2 (NASB)

Yes, the God who has never abandoned us thus far will not forsake us in the future either.

The Apostle John declares: “There is no fear in love; but perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.”
— 1 John 4:18 (NASB)

This means that when we live in perfect love toward God, fear loses its hold on us—because we are confident that the Creator of the universe is with us. Beloved, let us therefore face life without fear, trusting that the gracious hands of God are always upon us.

“For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, But My favor will not be removed from you, Nor will My covenant of peace be shaken,” Says the Lord who has compassion on you. — Isaiah 54:10 (NASB) Therefore, let us continue our lives fearlessly and courageously.

🦋 Meditation verse - 1 யோவான் 1 : 3 / 1 John 1:3

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1713                                           ஆதவன் 16.10.2025 வியாழன்   

"நீங்களும் எங்களோடே ஐக்கியமுள்ளவர்களாகும்படி, நாங்கள் கண்டும் கேட்டும் இருக்கிறதை உங்களுக்கும் அறிவிக்கிறோம்; எங்களுடைய ஐக்கியம் பிதாவோடும் அவருடைய குமாரனாகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவோடும் இருக்கிறது." ( 1 யோவான்  1 : 3 )

ஐக்கியம் என்பது அன்பான உறவினைக் குறிக்கின்றது. வெறுமனே சேர்ந்து இருப்பது அல்ல, மாறாக சேர்ந்து இருந்து ஒருவரை ஒருவர் புரிந்துகொண்டு வாழும் வாழ்க்கையினையே ஐக்கியம் என்கின்றோம். சில குடும்பங்களில் எல்லோரும் சேர்ந்து இருந்தாலும் அவர்களுக்குள் சரியான உறவு இருப்பதில்லை. பத்து பதினைந்து ஆண்டுகள் ஒரே வீட்டில் சேர்ந்து வாழ்ந்தும் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் பேசாத கணவன் மனைவிகள் உள்ள குடும்பங்கள் பல உண்டு. அதாவது வெளிப்பார்வைக்கு அவர்கள் ஒரே குடும்பம்; ஆனால் அவர்களுக்குள் ஐக்கியம் இல்லை. 

தேவன் தனது சபைகளும் விசுவாசிகளுக்குள் ஐக்கியதோடு இருக்கவேண்டுமென்று விரும்புகின்றார். சேர்ந்து ஆலய வழிபாடுகளில் கலந்துகொள்வதல்ல; மாறாக, விசுவாசிகளுக்குள் ஒற்றுமையும் அன்புறவும் அவசியம். பல சபைகளில் சேர்ந்து பாடி ஆராதித்து வந்தாலும் இரண்டு அல்லது மூன்று கோஷ்டிகளாக பிரிந்தவர்களாகவே விசுவாசிகள் இருக்கின்றனர். நிர்வாகிகள் அடாவடித்தனமாகச் செயல்படும்போது நிர்வாகத்துக்கு எதிராக ஒரு பிரிவினர் செயல்படுவது தவிர்க்கமுடியாதது. ஆனால் இதற்குக் காரணம் கிறிஸ்துவை தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்வில் அறியாத கிறிஸ்தவர்களாக இருப்பதுதான்.

அப்போஸ்தலர்கள் தங்களுக்குள் ஒற்றுமையுடன் ஒரே மனநிலையுடன் வாழ்ந்தனர். மட்டுமல்ல, விசுவாசிகளும் அவர்களோடு அதே ஐக்கியத்தில் வாழ்ந்தனர். "அவர்கள் ஒருமனப்பட்டவர்களாய் தேவாலயத்திலே அநுதினமும் தரித்திருந்து, வீடுகள்தோறும் அப்பம்பிட்டு மகிழ்ச்சியோடும் கபடமில்லாத இருதயத்தோடும் போஜனம்பண்ணி, தேவனைத் துதித்து, ஜனங்களெல்லாரிடத்திலும் தயவுபெற்றிருந்தார்கள். இரட்சிக்கப்படுகிறவர்களைக் கர்த்தர் அநுதினமும் சபையிலே சேர்த்துக்கொண்டுவந்தார்." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 2 : 46, 47 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

இதே ஐக்கியதோடு நாமும் வாழவேண்டுமென்று இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் அப்போஸ்தலரான யோவான் கூறுகின்றார். அதாவது நாம் அப்போஸ்தலர்கள் வாழ்ந்ததுபோல பிதாவோடும் குமாரனான கிறிஸ்துவோடும் ஐக்கியமுள்ளவர்களாக வாழவேண்டுமென்று கூறுகின்றார்.  இதனையே அவர், "நீங்களும் எங்களோடே ஐக்கியமுள்ளவர்களாகும்படி, நாங்கள் கண்டும் கேட்டும் இருக்கிறதை உங்களுக்கும் அறிவிக்கிறோம்; எங்களுடைய ஐக்கியம் பிதாவோடும் அவருடைய குமாரனாகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவோடும் இருக்கிறது" என்கின்றார். 

அதாவது, பிதாவோடும் குமாரனாகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவோடும் நமக்கு ஐக்கியம் இருக்குமானால் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் ஐக்கியமுள்ளவர்களாக இருப்போம். இப்படி நாம் வாழவேண்டும் என்பதை வலியுறுத்தவே யோவான் இந்த நிருபத்தை எழுதுகின்றார். இதனையே அவர், "நீங்களும் எங்களோடே ஐக்கியமுள்ளவர்களாகும்படி, நாங்கள் கண்டும் கேட்டும் இருக்கிறதை உங்களுக்கும் அறிவிக்கிறோம்" என்கின்றார். 

நமக்குள் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் ஐக்கியமுடன் வாழவேண்டுமென்றால் நாம் முதலில் பிதாவோடும் குமாரனோடுமுள்ள உறவை வலுப்படுத்தவேண்டியது அவசியம். அப்படி தேவ உறவு வலுப்படும்போதுதான் குடும்பத்திலும், நமது ஆலயத்திலும், ஊரிலும், நாட்டிலும் சமாதானம் பெருகும்.  எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு, "தேவனையும் நமது கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவையும் அறிகிற அறிவினால் உங்களுக்குக் கிருபையும் சமாதானமும் பெருகக்கடவது." (2 பேதுரு 1;2) என்று கூறுகின்றார். நமது பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்படும்போது மட்டுமே நாம் தேவ உறவில் வலுப்படமுடியும். எனவே கிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தத்தால் நமது பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட அவற்றை அவரிடம் அறிக்கையிடுவோம்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1713

“What we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed, our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.” — 1 John 1:3 (NASB)

Fellowship is not merely living together under one roof, but living in mutual understanding and loving relationship. In some families, although everyone lives together, there is no genuine relationship among them. There are homes where a husband and wife, after living together for fifteen or twenty years, hardly speak to each other. Outwardly they appear to be one family, but there is no fellowship between them.

God desires His church and His believers to live in true fellowship. Participating together in church worship services alone does not make fellowship; believers must live in unity and love. In many congregations, although people sing and worship together, they remain divided into small groups or factions. When church leaders act with pride or partiality, conflicts and divisions often arise—but the root cause of such divisions is that many so-called Christians do not truly know Christ personally.

The apostles lived in harmony and unity of mind, and the believers who followed them shared the same fellowship. Scripture says:

“Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.” — Acts 2:46–47 (NASB)

In today’s meditation verse, the apostle John urges us to live in that same fellowship. He says that just as the apostles lived in communion with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, we too must share that fellowship. Thus, he writes:

“What we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed, our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.” — 1 John 1:3 (NASB)

If we are united with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ, then we will naturally be united with one another. John wrote this letter to emphasize that truth: genuine fellowship among believers is possible only when each one lives in true fellowship with God. Therefore, he says, “we proclaim… so that you too may have fellowship with us.”

To maintain loving fellowship with one another, our relationship with the Father and the Son must first be strong. When our fellowship with God deepens, peace and harmony will overflow in our homes, our churches, our communities, and even our nation.

That is why the apostle Peter wrote: “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.”— 2 Peter 1:2 (NASB)

Only when our sins are forgiven can our relationship with God be strengthened. Therefore, let us confess our sins to Him so that, through the blood of Christ, we may receive forgiveness and walk in fellowship with God and with one another.
