'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 07, 2025. 💚வெள்ளிக்கிழமை

"தன்னைத்தான் புகழுகிறவன் உத்தமனல்ல, கர்த்தரால் புகழப்படுகிறவனே உத்தமன்." (2 கொரிந்தியர் 10: 18)

தற்புகழ்ச்சியுள்ளவன் உத்தமனாக இருக்கமுடியாது என்பதே இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறும் உண்மையாக இருக்கின்றது. அதுபோல, மனிதர்களால் புகழப்படும் எல்லோரும் உத்தமர்களல்ல. காரணம் எல்லா மனிதர்களும் எப்போதும் ஒருவரைப் புகழ்வது கிடையாது. ஒருவரைப் புகழும் மனித வாய்களே அவரைச் சிலகாலம் கடந்தபின்னர்  இழவும் வாய்ப்புண்டு. ஆனால் கர்த்தர் ஒருவரைப் புகழ்ந்தால் புகழ்ந்ததுதான். எனவே,  கர்த்தரால் புகழப்படுகிறவனே உத்தமன் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

இந்த உலகத்தில் மனிதர்களால் புகழப்பட்ட பல தலைவர்கள் அழிந்துபோயினர்; இருந்த இடம்தெரியாமல் போய்விட்டனர். மேலும் அவர்கள் இறந்தபின்னர் அவர்களைப்பற்றிய அவலட்சணமான உண்மைகள் பல வெளியுலகுக்குத் தெரியவந்து இறந்தபின்னரும் அவமானம் அடைகின்றனர். ஆனால் இதற்கு மாறாக, தேவனால் புகழப்பட்ட மனிதர்களோ இன்றும் நமது முன்மாதிரிகளாக நிலைத்து நிற்கின்றனர். தேவனால் மகிமைப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளனர். 

கர்த்தரால் புகழப்பட்ட மனிதர்கள் பலர் வேதாகமத்தில் அடையாளம் காட்டப்பட்டுள்ளனர். மோசேயை, "தேவனுடைய நண்பன்" என்று தேவன் கூறினார்; தாவீதை, "தேவனுடைய இருதயத்துக்கு ஏற்றவர்" என்றார்; நோவா, "உத்தமனும் சன்மார்க்கனும், தேவனுக்குப் பயந்து பொல்லாப்புக்கு விலகுகிறவனும்" எனத் தேவனால்  புகழப்பட்டான்; "பிரியமான புருஷனாகிய தானியேல்" என்று தானியேலை தேவன் அழைத்தார். அன்னை மரியாளை, "கிருபை பெற்றவள்" என்றும் "பெண்களுக்குள்ளே ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவள்" என்றும் தேவன் கூறினார். ஆனால் இவர்கள் வாழ்ந்தபோது இந்த உலகத்தில் பலர் இவர்களுக்கு எதிராகவே செயல்பட்டனர். 

தனக்கு ஏற்புடைய வாழ்க்கை வாழும் ஒருவரைத் தேவன் எவ்வளவு அதிகமாய் உயர்த்துகின்றாரோ அதுபோல பெருமைகொண்டவரை அவர் தாழ்த்தவும் செய்கின்றார். தற்புகழ்ச்சி பெருமையின் வெளிப்பாடு. பெருமையுள்ளவர்களுக்குத் தேவன் எப்போதும் எதிராகவே இருக்கின்றார். "அவர் அதிகமான கிருபையை அளிக்கிறாரே. ஆதலால் தேவன் பெருமையுள்ளவர்களுக்கு எதிர்த்து நிற்கிறார், தாழ்மையுள்ளவர்களுக்கோ கிருபை அளிக்கிறாரென்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறது." ( யாக்கோபு 4: 6) 

ஆதியில் தேவனுடைய சந்நிதானத்திலிருந்து சாத்தான் தள்ளப்பட பெருமையே காரணமாக இருந்தது. அழகும் ஒளியும் கொண்ட லூசிபர் எனும் தேவதூதன் பெருமை கொண்டு தன்னைத்  தேவனுக்கு நிகராக உயர்த்தப் பார்த்தான். அதனை அவன் வெளியே சொல்லவில்லை; மாறாக மனதில்தான் எண்ணினான். ஆனால் அந்த எண்ணத்தை அறிந்த தேவன் அவனைப் பிசாசாகப் பாதாளத்தில் தள்ளினார். இதனை நாம் வேதாகமத்தில் பின்வருமாறு வாசிக்கின்றோம்:- 

"அதிகாலையின் மகனாகிய விடிவெள்ளியே, நீ வானத்திலிருந்து விழுந்தாயே! ஜாதிகளை ஈனப்படுத்தினவனே, நீ தரையிலே விழ வெட்டப்பட்டாயே! நான் வானத்துக்கு ஏறுவேன், தேவனுடைய நட்சத்திரங்களுக்கு மேலாக என் சிங்காசனத்தை உயர்த்துவேன்; வடபுறங்களிலுள்ள ஆராதனைக் கூட்டத்தின் பர்வதத்திலே வீற்றிருப்பேன் என்றும், நான் மேகங்களுக்கு மேலாக உன்னதங்களில் ஏறுவேன்; உன்னதமானவருக்கு ஒப்பாவேன் என்றும் நீ உன் இருதயத்தில் சொன்னாயே. ஆனாலும் நீ அகாதமான பாதாளத்திலே தள்ளுண்டுபோனாய்." ( ஏசாயா 14: 12 - 15)

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தற்பெருமை எனும் குணம் நமக்கு இருக்குமானால் இதுவே நமது முடிவாகவும் இருக்கும். எனவேதான் இவை  பதிவுசெய்யப்பட்டு நமது நன்மைக்காக வேதாகமத்தில் பொறிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. எனவே நமது செயல்களையும் நமது வாழ்க்கையையும் பிறர் புகழவேண்டும் எனும் எதிர்பார்ப்போடு நாம் வாழாமல் தேவனது கண்களுக்குமுன் புகழ்ச்சி பெறும் வகையில் வாழ அழைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம்.  எப்போதும் தேவனையே நமது கண்முன்கொண்டு செயல்படுவோம். 

"தன்னைத்தான் புகழுகிறவன் உத்தமனல்ல, கர்த்தரால் புகழப்படுகிறவனே உத்தமன்." எனும் மெய்யான தேவ வார்த்தைகளை எச்சரிக்கையாக மனதினில் கொண்டு தாழ்மையான வாழ்க்கைவாழ நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம்.

AATHAVAN 💚 March 07, 2025 💚 Friday

"For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth." (2 Corinthians 10:18, KJV)

Today’s meditation verse reminds us that a person who praises himself cannot be considered upright. Similarly, not all who are praised by men are truly upright. The reason is that not all people will always praise someone. The same mouths that praise a person today may later speak ill of them. However, if the Lord praises someone, it is genuine and lasting. Therefore, today’s meditation verse declares that the one whom the Lord commends is truly upright.

In this world, many leaders who were praised by men have perished and vanished without a trace. Moreover, after their death, shameful truths about them often come to light, bringing them disgrace even in their absence. On the contrary, those whom God has praised remain as our role models to this day. They are glorified by God.

The Bible identifies many individuals whom the Lord commended. God called Moses "His friend"; He described David as "a man after His own heart"; Noah was praised as "a just man and perfect in his generations, and one who walked with God"; Daniel was referred to as "a man greatly beloved"; and the Virgin Mary was called "highly favoured" and "blessed among women." Yet, during their lifetimes, many in this world opposed them.

The more God exalts a person who lives a life pleasing to Him, the more He humbles the proud. Self-praise is a manifestation of pride, and God always opposes the proud. "But He giveth more grace. Wherefore He saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble." (James 4:6, KJV)

In the beginning, pride was the reason Satan was cast out of God’s presence. Lucifer, the angel of light and beauty, became proud and sought to exalt himself to be like God. He did not voice this outwardly but harboured it in his heart. Yet, God, who knows the thoughts of the heart, cast him down to hell as a devil. We read this in the Bible as follows:

"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit." (Isaiah 14:12-15, KJV)

Yes, dear ones, if we possess the trait of self-exaltation, it will lead to our downfall. This is why these truths are recorded in the Bible for our benefit. Therefore, let us not live with the expectation of receiving praise from others but strive to live in a way that earns commendation from God. Let us always keep God before our eyes and act accordingly.

Let us take to heart the true words of God: "For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth," and commit ourselves to live a life of humility.

❤️Meditation verse - உபாகமம் 10: 17 / Deuteronomy 10:17

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,490    

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 06, 2025. 💚வியாழக்கிழமை  

"உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் தேவாதி தேவனும், கர்த்தாதி கர்த்தரும், மகத்துவமும் வல்லமையும் பயங்கரமுமான தேவனுமாயிருக்கிறார்; அவர் பட்சபாதம்பண்ணுகிறவரும் அல்ல, பரிதானம் வாங்குகிறவரும் அல்ல." ( உபாகமம் 10: 17)

நமது தேவன் இரக்கமுள்ளவர், அன்புள்ளவர் என்று நாம் கூறுகின்றோம் ஆனால் அவர் பயங்கரமான தேவனுமாயிருக்கிறார். "நம்முடைய தேவன் பட்சிக்கிற அக்கினியாயிருக்கிறாரே." ( எபிரெயர் 12: 29) என்று தேவனது குணத்தைப்பற்றி வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே இன்றைய தியான வசனமானது தேவனது நியாயத்தீர்ப்பைக் குறித்துக்  கூறுகின்றது. நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு நாளில் அவருக்குக் கையூட்டுக்கொடுத்து நாம் தப்பிவிடமுடியாது என்று நம்மை இந்த வசனம் எச்சரிக்கின்றது. 

இந்த உலகத்தில் பலரும் தேவனைத் தங்களைப்போன்ற மனித குணம் கொண்ட ஒருவராக எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். இதனால் மனிதர்கள் தேவனுக்கு ஆராதனை என்று செய்யும் பல காரியங்கள் இத்தகைய மனித எண்ணத்தின் விளைவுகளாகவே இருக்கின்றன. நாம் தேவனையும் அவரது குணங்களையும் முற்றிலும் புரிந்துகொள்ள முடியாது.  தேவன் மனிதர்களைத் தனது சாயலிலும் ரூபத்திலும் உண்டாக்கியிருந்தாலும் அவர் மனிதர்களைப்போல அற்பமான காரியங்களுக்கு மயங்குகிறவரல்ல; வெற்று ஆராதனைகளுக்கு மயங்குபவரல்ல. இவைகளைவிட மனத் தாழ்மை, உள்ளத்தூய்மை இவைகளையே  தேவன் விரும்புகின்றார் என்பதே உண்மை. 

தேவன் படைத்த இந்த அண்டசராசரங்களைப் புரிந்துகொள்ளவே  இன்னும் மனிதர்களால் முடியவில்லை. நமது காலடியில் இருக்கும் பூமிக்கு அடியில் இருக்கும் காரியங்களையும் கடலின் ஆழத்தில் உள்ள அதிசயங்களையும் மனிதனால் இன்னும் முழுவதும் கண்டறியமுடியவில்லை. ஆம், சர்வ வல்லவரான அவரது அறிவு ஞானம் இவை அளவிடமுடியாதவை. "ஆ! தேவனுடைய ஐசுவரியம், ஞானம், அறிவு என்பவைகளின் ஆழம் எவ்வளவாயிருக்கிறது! அவருடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் அளவிடப்படாதவைகள், அவருடைய வழிகள் ஆராயப்படாதவைகள்!" ( ரோமர் 11: 33) என்று வியந்து கூறுகின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல்.

இதுபோலவே, அவருடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் அளவிடப்படாதவைகள். அவர் நியாயம் தீர்க்கும்போது  "நீதியின்படி ஏழைகளை நியாயம்விசாரித்து, யதார்த்தத்தின்படி பூமியிலுள்ள சிறுமையானவர்களுக்குத் தீர்ப்புச்செய்து, பூமியைத் தமது வாக்கின் கோலால் அடித்து, தமது வாயின் சுவாசத்தால் துன்மார்க்கரைச் சங்கரிப்பார்." ( ஏசாயா 11: 4) இந்த உலகத்திலுள்ள துன்மார்க்க நீதிபதிகளுக்கு லஞ்சம் கொடுத்துத் தப்புவதுபோல அவருக்கு நாம் கையூட்டுக் கொடுத்துத்  தப்பி ஓடமுடியாது. அரசியல் பலத்தினால் காவல்துறைக்குத் தப்பி ஒழிந்துகொள்வதுபோல ஒழிந்துகொள்ள முடியாது. 

"நான் வானத்திற்கு ஏறினாலும், நீர் அங்கே இருக்கிறீர்; நான் பாதாளத்தில் படுக்கை போட்டாலும், நீர் அங்கேயும் இருக்கிறீர். நான் விடியற்காலத்துச் செட்டைகளை எடுத்து, சமுத்திரத்தின் கடையாந்தரங்களிலே போய்த் தங்கினாலும், அங்கேயும் உமது கை என்னை நடத்தும், உமது வலதுகரம் என்னைப் பிடிக்கும்." ( சங்கீதம் 139: 8 -10) என்று அவரது வல்லமையினை உணர்ந்துகொண்ட பக்தன் கூறுகின்றான்.  

எனவேதான் நாம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்த நீதியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழவேண்டியது அவசியமாயிருக்கிறது. அவர் பட்சபாதம்பண்ணுகிறவரும் அல்ல, பரிதானம் வாங்குகிறவரும் அல்ல. இந்த உண்மையினை நன்றாக உணர்ந்ததால் சங்கீத ஆசிரியர் கூறுகின்றார், "உமது நீதியான நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளினிமித்தம், உம்மைத் துதிக்கும்படி பாதிராத்திரியில் எழுந்திருப்பேன்." ( சங்கீதம் 119: 62) அதாவது தேவனுக்கு விரோதமான பாவம் ஏதாவது செய்திருப்போமோ எனும் பயத்தால் நடு இராத்திரியில் எழுந்து தேவனைத்  துதித்து மன்னிப்பை வேண்டுவேன் என்கின்றார் சங்கீத ஆசிரியர். 

"உமக்குப் பயப்படும் பயத்தால் என் உடம்பு சிலிர்க்கிறது; உமது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளுக்குப் பயப்படுகிறேன்." ( சங்கீதம் 119: 120) இத்தகைய பயம் நமக்கு இருக்குமானால் மட்டுமே நாம் நீதியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழமுடியும். இல்லாவிட்டால் துன்மார்க்க மனிதர்கள் கூறுவதுபோல "நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு நாளில்  எல்லாம் பார்த்துக்கொள்ளலாம்" என்றுகூறி நமது துன்மார்க்கத்திலேயே தொடர்ந்து வாழ்ந்து அழிவோம்.

"For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, who regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward." (Deuteronomy 10:17, KJV)

We often speak of our God as merciful and loving, but He is also a fearsome God. "For our God is a consuming fire." (Hebrews 12:29, KJV) This verse describes the nature of God. Yes, dear ones, today’s meditation verse speaks about God’s judgment. On the day of judgment, we cannot bribe Him to escape, as this verse warns us.

In this world, many people think of God as having human-like qualities. As a result, many of the acts of worship performed by humans are influenced by such human reasoning. We cannot fully comprehend God or His nature. Although God created humans in His own image and likeness, He is not swayed by trivial matters like humans are, nor is He impressed by empty rituals. Instead, God desires humility and purity of heart.

Even today, humanity has not been able to fully understand the universe God created. The depths beneath our feet and the wonders of the ocean remain largely unexplored. Truly, His wisdom and knowledge are immeasurable. "O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!" (Romans 11:33, KJV) exclaims the apostle Paul in awe.

Similarly, His judgments are immeasurable. When He judges, "He shall judge the poor with righteousness, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and He shall smite the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips shall He slay the wicked." (Isaiah 11:4, KJV) Unlike corrupt judges in this world who can be bribed, we cannot bribe God to escape His judgment. Nor can we evade His justice through political power or influence.

"If I ascend up into heaven, Thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, Thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; even there shall Thy hand lead me, and Thy right hand shall hold me." (Psalm 139:8-10, KJV) These words are spoken by a devout soul who has come to understand God’s omnipresence and power.

Therefore, it is essential for us to live a righteous life in the fear of the Lord. He shows no partiality and accepts no bribes. Realizing this truth, the Psalmist says, "At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto Thee because of Thy righteous judgments." (Psalm 119:62, KJV) In other words, the Psalmist is saying that he will rise at midnight to praise God and seek forgiveness, fearing that he may have sinned against Him.

"My flesh trembleth for fear of Thee; and I am afraid of Thy judgments." (Psalm 119:120, KJV) Only if we have such fear can we live a righteous life. Otherwise, like the wicked, we might say, “We’ll deal with judgment when it comes,” and continue living in sin, leading to our destruction.

❤️Meditation verse - மத்தேயு 5: 13 / Matthew 5:13

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,489    

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 05, 2025. 💚புதன்கிழமை  

"நீங்கள் பூமிக்கு உப்பாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்; உப்பானது சாரமற்றுப்போனால், எதனால் சாரமாக்கப்படும்? வெளியே கொட்டப்படுவதற்கும், மனுஷரால் மிதிக்கப்படுவதற்குமே ஒழிய வேறொன்றுக்கும் உதவாது." ( மத்தேயு 5: 13)

தன்மேல் பற்றுக்கொண்டு மெய்யான கிறிஸ்தவர்களாக வாழ்பவர்களை உப்புக்கு இயேசு கிறிஸ்து ஒப்பிட்டுக் கூறுகின்றார். நாம் உண்ணும் உணவுக்கு சுவையூட்ட உப்பு எவ்வளவு முக்கியமோ அதுபோல கிறிஸ்தவர்களாகிய நாம் இந்த உலகுக்குச் சுவையூட்டுபவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். எனவேதான் இயேசு, "நீங்கள் பூமிக்கு உப்பாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்" என்று நம்மைப்பார்த்துக் கூறுகின்றார். 

உப்பு மிகவும் தேவையான பொருளாக இருப்பதால் நாம் அதனை சமையலறையில் முக்கிய இடம்கொடுத்து வைத்திருக்கின்றோம். ஒருவேளை இந்த உப்பானது தனது சாரத்தை இழந்து  வெறும் சுண்ணாம்புபோல ஆகிவிட்டது என்றால் நாம் அதனைத் தூக்கி வெளியே எறிந்துவிடுவோமல்லவா? அது மனிதர்களால் மிதிபட்டு அழியும். இதுபோலவே சாட்சியற்ற வாழ்க்கையும் இருக்கும் என்கிறார் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. 

இன்று கிறிஸ்துவை மக்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கவேண்டுமெனும் ஆவலில் உழைக்கும் உண்மையுள்ள ஊழியர்கள் பலர் இருக்கின்றனர். ஆனால் அவர்களது உழைப்பைக் கெடுக்கும் சாரமற்ற கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் மற்றும்  கிறிஸ்தவ ஊழியர்கள் பலரும் இருக்கின்றனர். தினசரி செய்தித்தாள்களில் பல கேவலமான செயல்கள் செய்யும் கிறிஸ்தவ ஊழியர்களைப்பற்றிய செய்திகள் அன்றாடம் வெளிவருவதை நாம் பார்க்கின்றோம். மனைவியைக் கொலைசெய்யும் கிறிஸ்தவ ஊழியன், சிறு பெண்களை பாலியல் சீண்டல் செய்து போக்ஸோ சட்டத்தில் கைதாகும் ஊழியன், கற்பழிப்பு வழக்கிலும் பண மோசடி வழக்கிலும் கைதுசெய்யப்படும் ஊழியர்கள் இவர்களே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறிய சாரமற்ற உப்பாகிப்போனவர்கள். 

இவர்களது பெயர்கள்  பத்திரிகைகளில் நாற்றமெடுத்து மனிதர்களால் மிதிப்பட்டுக்கொண்டிருப்பதை நாம் மறுக்கமுடியாது. ஆம், "உப்பானது சாரமற்றுப்போனால், எதனால் சாரமாக்கப்படும்? வெளியே கொட்டப்படுவதற்கும், மனுஷரால் மிதிக்கப்படுவதற்குமே ஒழிய வேறொன்றுக்கும் உதவாது." ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இன்று கிறிஸ்தவர்களுக்கு எதிரிகள் வெளியிலில்லை; சாரமற்ற உப்பான கிறிஸ்தவர்களே கிறிஸ்தவத்துக்கு எதிரிகள். 

நாம் போதிக்கும் கிறிஸ்து மற்ற எவரும் அறிவிக்காத தனித்துவமுள்ள தேவ குமாரன் என்பதை மற்றவர்கள் உணர்ந்தால் மட்டுமே அவரை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளமுடியும்.   அதற்கு சாரமுள்ள உப்பான நமது சாட்சியுள்ள வாழ்க்கைதான் காரணமாக இருக்கமுடியும்.  இன்று பல கிறிஸ்தவர்களைவிட கிறிஸ்துவை அறியாத பலர் நீதி வாழ்க்கை வாழ்கின்றனர். எனவே:- 

"கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால், உங்களைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிற புறஜாதிகளைப்பார்க்கிலும் அதிகரிக்கிறவர்களாகிய நீங்கள் என் கட்டளைகளிலே நடவாமலும், என் நியாயங்களின்படி செய்யாமலும், உங்களைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிற புறஜாதிகளுடைய நீதிநியாயங்களின்படியாவது நடவாமலும் போனபடியினாலே,  இதோ, நான், நானே உனக்கு விரோதமாக வந்து, புறஜாதிகளுடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக உன் நடுவிலே நீதி செலுத்தி, நான் முன்பு செய்யாததும் இனிச்செய்யாதிருப்பதுமானவிதமாய் உனக்கு உன் எல்லா அருவருப்புகளினிமித்தமும் செய்வேன்." ( எசேக்கியேல் 5: 7-9)

அதாவது, கிறிஸ்துவை அறியாத பிறஇன மக்களைவிடக்  கேவலமான வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்துகொண்டு,  அவரை அறிந்திருக்கின்றோம் என்று கூறிக்கொள்ளும் "சாரமற்ற உப்பாகிப்போனவர்களைத்  தண்டிப்பேன்" என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, சாரமற்ற உப்பு மனிதர்கள் காலடியில் மிதிபட்டு அழிவதைப்போல நாம் அழிந்துவிடக் கூடாது.  கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்து ஏற்றுக்கொண்ட நாம் நமது சாரத்தை இழக்காத உப்பாக வாழ்ந்து கிறிஸ்துவுக்குச் சாட்சிபகர்வோம். அதனையே அவர் நம்மிடம் எதிர்பார்க்கின்றார்.

Scripture Meditation - No. 1,489
AATHAVAN 💚 March 05, 2025 💚 Wednesday

"Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men." (Matthew 5:13, KJV)

Jesus Christ compares those who live as true Christians, holding fast to Him, to salt. Just as salt is essential to add flavour to the food we eat, so too must we, as Christians, bring flavour to this world. This is why Jesus says to us, "Ye are the salt of the earth."

Because salt is such a necessary substance, we give it a prominent place in our kitchens. But if this salt were to lose its savor and become like mere lime, would we not throw it out? It would be trampled underfoot by men. In the same way, the Lord Jesus Christ teaches that a life without testimony is equally worthless.

Today, there are many faithful servants labouring with a zeal to proclaim Christ to the people. However, there are also many saltless Christians and Christian workers who undermine their efforts. Daily, we see news reports of Christian workers involved in disgraceful acts: a Christian worker murdering his wife, another sexually harassing young girls and being arrested under the POCSO Act, or workers arrested in cases of rape and financial fraud. These are the ones who have become like salt that has lost its savor, as Jesus described.

We cannot deny that their names stink in the newspapers and are trampled upon by men. Indeed, "if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men." Beloved, today the enemies of Christianity are not outside; the saltless Christians themselves are the enemies of Christ.

Only when others recognize that the Christ we preach is the unique Son of God, proclaimed by no one else, will they accept Him. And it is only our testimonial lives, as salt with savor, that can cause this realization. Today, many who do not know Christ live more righteous lives than many Christians. Therefore:

"Thus saith the Lord God; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you; therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations. And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations." (Ezekiel 5:7-9, KJV)

In other words, God says, "I will punish those who have become saltless, living worse lives than those of other races who do not know Christ, yet claiming to know Him." Therefore, beloved, let us not be like saltless salt, trampled underfoot and destroyed. Having known and accepted Christ, let us live as salt that retains its savor and bear witness to Him. This is what He expects of us.

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 04, 2025. 💚செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை  

"அந்தப்படியே தேவன் தம்மை நோக்கி இரவும் பகலும் கூப்பிடுகிறவர்களாகிய தம்மால் தெரிந்து கொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களின் விஷயத்தில் நீடிய பொறுமையுள்ளவராயிருந்து அவர்களுக்கு நியாயஞ்செய்யாமலிருப்பாரோ?" ( லுூக்கா 18: 7)

பலவேளைகளில் நாம் எவ்வளவுதான் ஜெபித்தாலும் நமது ஜெபங்களுக்குத் தேவனிடமிருந்து எந்தப் பதிலும் வராததுபோலத் தெரியும். பல நாட்களாக நாம் ஜெபித்தும் தேவன் அதனைக் கேட்காததுபோல நமக்குத் தெரியும். இதனால் பலர் சிலவேளைகளில் சோர்ந்துபோவதுண்டு. ஆனால் தேவன் நமது ஜெபங்களை மட்டுமல்ல, நமது பிரச்சனையின் ஆழத்தினை, நமது உள்ளக் குமுறல்களை  எல்லாம் நன்கு அறிவார். மட்டுமல்ல, அவர் நமது தகப்பனைப் போன்றவர். எனவே நிச்சயம் நமது ஜெபங்களுக்குப் பதில் தந்து நம்மை மகிழ்ச்சிப்படுத்துவார். 

இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் காலத்தில் இப்போது இருப்பதுபோன்ற நீதிமன்றங்கள் இருந்ததில்லை. மாறாக, அரசாங்கத்தால் நியமிக்கப்பட்ட நியாயாதிபதிகள் (Judges) நகரங்களில் நியமிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தனர். மக்கள் தங்கள் பிரச்சனைகளை அவர்களிடம் கொண்டுசென்றால் அவர்கள் அதனை விசாரித்துத் தீர்ப்புச் சொல்வார்கள். இயேசு இத்தகைய ஒரு நியாயாதிபதியைத் தேவனோடு ஒப்பிட்டு கூறிய உவமையில்  இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தைக் கூறுகின்றார்.   

அந்த நியாயாதிபதியைக்குறித்து அவர் கூறுகின்றார், "அவன் தேவனுக்குப் பயப்படாதவனும் மனுஷரை மதியாதவனுமாயிருந்தான்." ( லுூக்கா 18: 2) என்று. இத்தகைய நீதிபதிகள் அன்று மட்டுமல்ல, இன்றும் நமது நாட்டில் அதிகம்பேர் உண்டு.  இன்று பணத்துக்கும் பதவிக்கும் மதிப்பளித்து ஏழைகளுக்கு முறையான நீதிவழங்காமல் அவர்களை அவமதிக்கும் நீதிபதிகளை நாம் பார்க்கின்றோம். இயேசு கூறும் நீதிபதி அத்தகையவன்தான். 

இந்த நீதிபதியிடம் ஒரு விதவை ஒரு வழக்குக்காக தீர்ப்புவேண்டி வருகின்றாள். ஆனால் அவன் அவளது குரலை மதிக்கவில்லை. காரணம் விதவைதானே இவளிடம் நமக்குத் தரும்படி பணம் எதுவும் இருக்காது என்று கருதினான்.  எனவே அவளை அவன் புறக்கணித்தான். ஆனால் அவளோ விடாது அவனைத் தொந்தரவு செய்து தனக்கு நீதி வழங்கவேண்டி வற்புறுத்தினாள். இறுதியில் அவளது தொந்தரவு தாங்காமல் அவளது வழக்கை விசாரித்துத் தீர்ப்புச் சொல்கிறான்.  

இந்த நீதிபதியை இயேசு தேவனோடு ஒப்பிட்டுக் கூறுகின்றார், "அநீதியுள்ள இந்த துன்மார்க்க நீதிபதி தன்னை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்ட விதவையின்  உபத்திரவத்தைத்  தாங்கமுடியாமல் அவளுக்குத் தீர்ப்புச் செய்தானே, அப்படியானால் நீதியுள்ள தேவன் தன்னை நோக்கி இரவும் பகலும் கூப்பிடும் நமது ஜெபங்களுக்குப் பதில்தராமல் இருப்பாரா?" என்று கேட்கின்றார். 

நாம் தேவனுக்கேற்ற நீதியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்து வருவோமானால்  நமது ஜெபத்துக்கு தேவனது ஏற்ற பதிலைப் பெறுவோம்.  "நீங்கள் சொஸ்தமடையும்படிக்கு, உங்கள் குற்றங்களை ஒருவருக்கொருவர் அறிக்கையிட்டு, ஒருவருக்காக ஒருவர் ஜெபம்பண்ணுங்கள். நீதிமான் செய்யும் ஊக்கமான வேண்டுதல் மிகவும் பெலனுள்ளதாயிருக்கிறது." ( யாக்கோபு 5: 16) என்று கூறுகின்றது வேதாகமம்.

"எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் முடிவு சமீபமாயிற்று; ஆகையால் தெளிந்த புத்தியுள்ளவர்களாயிருந்து, ஜெபம்பண்ணுவதற்கு ஜாக்கிரதையுள்ளவர்களாயிருங்கள்." (1 பேதுரு 4: 7) என்று நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றார் பேதுரு. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது ஜெபவிண்ணப்பத்துக்கு முடிவு சமீபமாயிற்று. நமது தேவன் அநீதியுள்ளவரல்ல. அநீதியான நியாயாதிபதியே ஏழை விதவையின் தொடர்ந்த கூக்குரலுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து ஏற்ற தீர்ப்புக் கூறினானென்றால் நீதியுள்ள நியாயாதிபதியான தேவன் நமது ஜெபத்துக்கு ஏற்ற பதில்தராமல் இருப்பாரா? உறுதியுடன் ஜெபத்தில் தரித்திருப்போம்.

"And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?" (Luke 18:7, KJV)

Often, it may seem that no matter how much we pray, there is no response from God. It may appear as though God has not heard our prayers even after many days of pleading. This can lead many to feel discouraged at times. However, God not only hears our prayers but also understands the depth of our problems and the turmoil within our hearts. Moreover, He is like a Father to us. Therefore, He will surely answer our prayers and bring us joy.

During the time of Jesus Christ, there were no courts like we have today. Instead, government-appointed judges were stationed in cities. People would bring their cases to these judges, who would then investigate and deliver a verdict. In one of His parables, Jesus compares such a judge to God and shares today’s meditation verse.

About this judge, Jesus says, "There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man." (Luke 18:2, KJV). Such judges existed not only in those days but even today in our country. We see many judges who, swayed by money and power, deny justice to the poor and treat them with contempt. The judge Jesus speaks of was exactly like this.

A widow comes to this judge seeking justice for her case. However, he disregards her plea, thinking, "She is just a widow; there’s nothing she can offer me." So, he ignores her. But she persists, troubling him and demanding justice. Finally, unable to bear her persistence, he investigates her case and delivers a verdict.

Jesus compares this unjust judge to God and asks, "If this unrighteous judge, who neither feared God nor respected man, could grant justice to the widow because of her persistence, how much more will the righteous God answer the prayers of those who cry out to Him day and night?"

If we live a righteous life pleasing to God, we will receive His fitting response to our prayers. The Scripture says, "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." (James 5:16, KJV).

Peter advises us, "But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer." (1 Peter 4:7, KJV). Yes, dear friends, the end of our prayer petitions is near. Our God is not unjust. If even an unrighteous judge could heed the persistent cries of a poor widow and grant her justice, how much more will the righteous Judge, God, answer our prayers? Let us remain steadfast in prayer.

❤️Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 41: 17 / Isaiah 41:17

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,486    

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 03, 2025. 💚திங்கள்கிழமை  

"சிறுமையும் எளிமையுமானவர்கள் தண்ணீரைத் தேடி, அது கிடையாமல், அவர்கள் நாவு தாகத்தால் வறளும்போது, கர்த்தராகிய நான் அவர்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய நான் அவர்களைக் கைவிடாதிருப்பேன்." ( ஏசாயா 41: 17)

பொதுவாக இந்த உலகம் பொருளாதார நிலைமை, படிப்பு, பதவி இவைகளைக்கொண்டு மனிதர்களை மதிப்பிடுகின்றது. இவைகளை வாழ்வில் பெறாதவர்களை அற்பமாக எண்ணுகின்றது இந்த உலகம். ஆனால் தேவன் அப்படியல்ல; சிறுமையானவர்களின் குரலை தேவன் புறக்கணிப்பதில்லை. அவர் மனிதர்களின் உள்ளான மனத்தினைப்  பார்க்கின்றார். எனவே, பலவேளைகளில் உலகத்தாரால் அற்பமாகவும் சிறுமையாகவும் எண்ணப்படும் மனிதர்கள் தேவனது பார்வையில் மேலானவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர்.   

இப்படி சிறுமையும் எளிமையுமானவர்களை தேவன் கைவிடுவதில்லை என்பதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் நாம் "சிறுமையும் எளிமையுமானவர்கள் தண்ணீரைத் தேடி, அது கிடையாமல், அவர்கள் நாவு தாகத்தால் வறளும்போது, கர்த்தராகிய நான் அவர்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய நான் அவர்களைக் கைவிடாதிருப்பேன்." என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

இங்கு "தண்ணீரைத் தேடி" என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது உருவகமாக கூறப்பட்ட வார்த்தைகளாகும். அதாவது பிழைப்புக்கான வழியற்று என்ன செய்வோம் என நிலைகுலைந்து நிற்கும் ஏழைகள் இந்த உலகினில் பலர் உண்டு. அத்தகைய நிலைமையையே "சிறுமையும் எளிமையுமானவர்கள் தண்ணீரைத் தேடி, அது கிடையாமல், அவர்கள் நாவு தாகத்தால் வறளும்போது" என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடைய வாழ்க்கை வாழும் ஏழை மக்கள் இப்படித் துன்பம் அனுபவிக்கும்போது தேவன் அவர்களுக்கு உதவுவேன் என்கின்றார்.  

ஒருமுறை எனது நண்பரொருவரிடம் பேசிக்கொண்டிருக்கும்போது அவர் என்னிடம், "நீங்கள் கடவுள் அன்பும் இரக்கமும் உள்ளவர் என்று கூறிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறீர்கள், ஆனால் இந்த உலகினில் பசி பட்டினியால் எத்தனையோ ஏழைகள் மடிவதை நீங்கள் காணவில்லையா? கடவுள் அன்புள்ளவரென்றால் ஏன் இதனை அனுமதிக்கின்றார்?" என்று கேட்டார். ஒருவரது ஆவிக்குரிய கண்கள் திறக்கப்படாதவரை இத்தகைய கேள்விகளுக்கான பதிலை அவர்களுக்குப் புரியவைக்க முடியாது. தேவன் அநீதி செய்பவரல்ல என்பதை நாம் நம்புவதைத் தவிர வேறு வழியில்லை; அதனை நாம் விசுவாசிக்கவேண்டும். 

நாம் மனித கண்ணோட்டத்தில் அனைத்தையும் பார்க்கின்றோம். தேவனின் சில திட்டங்களை நாம் உடனே புரிந்துகொள்ள முடியாது.  சில வேளைகளில் குறிப்பிட்டக்  காலம்வரைச் சிலரை, சில நாடுகளை  தேவன் சிறுமைப்படுத்தி வைத்திருப்பார். அது நிரந்தரமல்ல. ஆனால், தனக்கு உகந்த வாழ்க்கை வாழும் எவரையும் தேவன் முற்றிலும் கைவிடுவதில்லை. அதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில், "கர்த்தராகிய நான் அவர்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய நான் அவர்களைக் கைவிடாதிருப்பேன்." என்கிறார் தேவன். இதற்கு வேதாகமத்தில் பல உதாரணங்கள் உண்டு. 

இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை தேவன் எகிப்திலிருந்து விடுதலையாக்கி கானானை நோக்கி வழிநடத்தியபோது அவர்கள் இடுக்கமான ஒரு வாழ்க்கையையே சந்தித்தனர். ஆனால் நாற்பது ஆண்டுகள் தேவன் அவர்களை நடத்தினார். உணவு, இறைச்சி, தண்ணீர் என அவர்கள் அடிப்படைத் தேவைகளைச் சந்தித்தார். "இப்படி நாற்பது வருஷமாக வனாந்தரத்தில் அவர்களுக்கு ஒன்றும் குறைவுபடாதபடிக்கு, அவர்களைப் பராமரித்து வந்தீர்; அவர்கள் வஸ்திரங்கள் பழமையாய்ப் போகவுமில்லை, அவர்கள் கால்கள் வீங்கவுமில்லை." ( நெகேமியா 9: 21) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம்.

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இன்றைய துன்பங்களையும் கஷ்டங்களையும் கண்டு நாம் துவண்டுபோய்விடவேண்டாம் அவருக்குமுன் உண்மையும் உத்தமுமான வழக்கை வாழ நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம். ஒருவேளை உலக மக்கள் அனுபவிக்கும் மேலான செல்வங்கள் நமக்குக் கிடைக்காமல் இருக்கலாம். ஆனால்,  "சிறுமையும் எளிமையுமானவர்கள் தண்ணீரைத் தேடி, அது கிடையாமல், அவர்கள் நாவு தாகத்தால் வறளும்போது, கர்த்தராகிய நான் அவர்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய நான் அவர்களைக் கைவிடாதிருப்பேன்" எனும் வார்த்தைகளின்படி தேவன் நம்மைக் கைவிடாமல் காத்து நடத்துவார்.

"When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them." (Isaiah 41:17, KJV)

Generally, this world evaluates people based on their economic status, education, and position. Those who lack these things are often considered insignificant by the world. But God is not like that; He does not ignore the cries of the humble. He looks at the inner heart of a person. Therefore, many times, those who are considered insignificant or lowly by the world are highly esteemed in God’s sight.

This truth is reflected in today’s meditation verse: "When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them."

Here, the phrase "seek water" is metaphorical. It refers to those who are struggling to find a way to survive, feeling helpless and desperate. There are many in this world who are in such a state. God promises to help them when they face such difficulties.

Once, while talking to a friend, he asked me, "You always say that God is loving and merciful, but don’t you see how many poor people are dying of hunger and poverty in this world? If God is loving, why does He allow this?" Unless one’s spiritual eyes are opened, it is difficult to explain such questions. We must believe that God is not unjust; we must trust in His ways.

We see things from a human perspective and cannot always immediately understand God’s plans. Sometimes, God allows individuals or nations to go through periods of hardship for a specific time. This is not permanent. However, God never completely forsakes those who live a life pleasing to Him. This is what today’s meditation verse emphasizes: "I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them." There are many examples of this in the Bible.

When God delivered the Israelites from Egypt and led them toward Canaan, they faced many hardships. Yet, for forty years, God guided them, providing for their basic needs—food, meat, and water. As it is written: "Yea, forty years didst thou sustain them in the wilderness, so that they lacked nothing; their clothes waxed not old, and their feet swelled not." (Nehemiah 9:21, KJV)

Yes, dear ones, let us not be discouraged by today’s troubles and hardships. Let us surrender ourselves to live truthfully and righteously before Him. Even if we do not possess the worldly wealth that others enjoy, God will not forsake us. As today’s verse assures us: "When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them."

❤️Our God Cares for Us

The Bible says that our God cares for us. When we care about someone, it means we have a personal concern for them. If we truly care, we will not fail to reach out and inquire about their well-being.

"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." (1 Peter 5:7)

A student who dreamed of studying medicine had good marks but could not afford the fees. When her situation was published in the newspapers, a well-known businessman stepped forward to sponsor her education. As a result, she was able to join medical college without any financial worries. The businessman took upon himself all her financial burdens.

In the same way, since God cares for us, He will take care of our burdens. All we need to do is place our trust in Him with faith. If we hold on to Jesus Christ with unwavering faith, He will never forsake us.

The above is just one example. However, God does not want us to place our trust in people. The Bible says:

"It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man." (Psalm 118:8)

People are subject to change. Even those who promise to help us may be unable to fulfil their commitments due to unforeseen circumstances.

God's Care Through a Simple Bird’s Nest

I once read about an incident in the life of a devout Christian engineer. When a highway department was widening a road, he was given the responsibility of cutting down the roadside trees. Under his supervision, trees were being cut and cleared.

When they came near a particular tree, he noticed a bird’s nest among its branches. Out of concern, he asked one of the workers to climb the tree and check the nest. Inside were tiny baby birds.

The engineer, moved with compassion, instructed his team not to cut the tree immediately. He decided to wait for ten to fifteen days so that the birds would have time to leave the nest. Meanwhile, they continued cutting the other trees.

After the waiting period, they returned to cut the tree. That day, the engineer was feeling spiritually discouraged, thinking, "There seems to be no progress in my spiritual life. Problems keep coming one after another."

Out of curiosity, he climbed the tree and looked inside the empty nest before cutting it down. To his surprise, he found a small piece of paper with a Bible verse written on it:

"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." (1 Peter 5:7)

It was a Sunday school memory verse written by a child. The bird had unknowingly picked up that paper and used it in its nest. This incident deeply touched the engineer’s heart and brought a great transformation in his spiritual life. He realized that if God could protect a tiny bird’s nest through His Word, how much more would He care for His children in times of distress!

King David’s Faith in God

King David declared with confidence:

"I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved." (Psalm 16:8)

If we, too, set the Lord before us, we can place all our concerns and worries upon Him and be at peace.

"As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him." (Psalm 18:30)

Why Do We Worry?

Today, many of us are burdened with worries. The reason is that we focus more on our circumstances than on God. We often fail to realize that God has the power to change any situation.

Jesus asked:

"Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?" (Matthew 6:27)

Worrying does not change anything. Instead, we must think and act wisely to resolve our concerns.

In Luke 8, we read about a woman afflicted with an issue of blood for twelve years. She had spent all her wealth seeking medical treatment but found no cure. She was filled with worry and despair. But the moment she realized that neither her efforts nor the doctors could heal her, she turned to Jesus Christ. That very day, she received her healing.

This does not mean that seeking medical treatment is wrong. In fact, Jesus Himself said, "They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick." (Matthew 9:12)

Moreover, Luke, the writer of this incident, was a physician. The key lesson here is that although medical treatment is necessary, true healing comes from God.

Victory Belongs to the Lord

The Bible says:

"The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD." (Proverbs 21:31)

Preparing the horse for battle is essential, but victory ultimately comes from God. Similarly, medical care and physical fitness are important, but they alone cannot guarantee good health—God’s grace is needed. Since He cares for us, we must place all our worries and hopes in Him.

God’s Strength in Our Weakness

People often rely only on their strength when they are healthy and successful. They trust in their own abilities. But when faced with illness or unsolvable problems, they turn to God as their last resort.

It is in our weakness that we truly experience God’s power. That is why God told Paul:

"My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Are you feeling weak today? Are you troubled by sickness, debt, or unsolvable problems? Do you feel overwhelmed by challenges? If so, acknowledge your weakness and surrender to God. It is in your weakness that you will experience His strength.

Trust God Like a Child

Dearly beloved, the Word of God is true. If we receive it with the faith of a little child, we will witness miracles in our lives. All we need to do is surrender our ways and our lives to Him and wait for His intervention.

"Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass." (Psalm 37:5)

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,485    

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 02, 2025. 💚ஞாயிற்றுகிழமை  

"அவருடைய பார்வைக்கு மறைவான சிருஷ்டி ஒன்றுமில்லை; சகலமும் அவருடைய, கண்களுக்குமுன்பாக நிர்வாணமாயும் வெளியரங்கமாயுமிருக்கிறது, அவருக்கே நாம் கணக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கவேண்டும்." ( எபிரெயர் 4: 13)

இந்த உலகத்தில் நாம் செய்யும் செயல்பாடுகள் அனைத்தையும் தேவன் அமைதியாகப்  பார்த்துக்கொண்டுதான் இருக்கின்றார். ஆனால் மனிதர்கள் நாம் இதனை உணர்வதில்லை. இன்று மனிதர்கள் தங்கள் மூளை அறிவால் CCTV கேமராக்களை உருவாகியுள்ளனர். இந்த கேமராக்கள் மூலம் பல்வேறு திருட்டுக்கள் தப்பிதங்கள் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டு குற்றவாளிகள் தண்டிக்கப்படுவதை நாம் அறிவோம். மனித அறிவே இத்தகைய கண்காணிப்புக் கருவியைக் கண்டுபிடிக்கமுடியுமானால் தேவனது அறிவு எத்தகைய வல்லமையுள்ளதாக இருக்குமென்று எண்ணிப்பாருங்கள்!

நாம் இருக்கும் இடத்தையும், நமது செயல்பாடுகளையும் கண்காணித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள் என்று அறியும்போது மனிதர்கள் பொதுவாக நல்லவர்களாக நடந்துகொள்கின்றனர். பல கடைகளிலும் பொது இடங்களிலும், "நீங்கள் CCTV கேமரா கண்காணிப்பில் இருக்கிறீர்கள்" என்று அறிவிப்புகள் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கும்.  அங்கு பலரும் நல்லவர்களாக நடந்துகொள்கின்றனர். காரணம் தண்டிக்கப்பட்டுவிடுவோம் எனும் பயம். 

அன்பானவர்களே, இதுபோலவே தேவன் நம்மைக் கண்காணித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார். இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம், "அவருடைய பார்வைக்கு மறைவான சிருஷ்டி ஒன்றுமில்லை; சகலமும் அவருடைய, கண்களுக்குமுன்பாக நிர்வாணமாயும் வெளியரங்கமாயுமிருக்கிறது, அவருக்கே நாம் கணக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கவேண்டும்." என்று கூறி நம்மை எச்சரிக்கின்றது. 

தங்களது சொத்துக்களை விற்ற அனனியா, சப்பீராள் எனும் தம்பதியினர் விற்ற பணத்தில் சிறிதளவு பணத்தை தங்களுக்கென்று வைத்துக்கொண்டு மிச்ச பணத்தை பேதுருவிடம்   ஒப்படைத்தனர்.  அந்தப்பணம் அவர்களுக்கு உரிமைப்பட்டதுதான். ஆனால் தேவனுக்கென்று கொடுக்கத் தீர்மானித்தபின் அது தேவனுக்கு உரிமையுள்ளதாயிற்று. அந்தப்பணத்தில்தான் சிறிதளவு பணத்தை அவர்கள் தங்களுக்கென்று வைத்துக்கொண்டனர்.   

ஆனால் அவர்களது இந்தச் செயல் தேவனுக்கு மறைவானதாக இருக்கவில்லை. அவர் ஆவியானவர்மூலம் பேதுருவுக்கு இதனை வெளிப்படுத்திக்கொடுத்தார். எனவே, "பேதுரு அவனை நோக்கி: அனனியாவே, நிலத்தின் கிரயத்தில் ஒரு பங்கை வஞ்சித்துவைத்து, பரிசுத்த ஆவியினிடத்தில் பொய்சொல்லும்படி, சாத்தான் உன் இருதயத்தை நிரப்பினதென்ன?" ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 5: 3) என்று கேட்கின்றார். 

ஆம், தேவன் தனது வார்த்தையால் நம்மை நியாயம்தீர்க்கும்போது நாம் அவரை ஏமாற்ற முடியாது. "தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையானது ஜீவனும் வல்லமையும் உள்ளதாயும், இருபுறமும் கருக்குள்ள எந்தப் பட்டயத்திலும் கருக்கானதாயும், ஆத்துமாவையும், ஆவியையும், கணுக்களையும் ஊனையும் பிரிக்கத்தக்கதாக உருவக் குத்துகிறதாயும், இருதயத்தின் நினைவுகளையும் யோசனைகளையும் வகையறுக்கிறதாயும் இருக்கிறது." ( எபிரெயர் 4: 12)

எனவே நாம் கவனமுடன் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வைத் தொடர்வோம். நமது அனைத்துப் பேச்சுக்களையும் செயல்பாடுகளையும் CCTV கேமரா கண்காணிப்பதைவிட அதிக வல்லமையுடன் தேவன் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்.  அவர் தனது வார்த்தையால் நம்மை நியாயம் தீர்க்கும்போது நாம் அவரை ஏமாற்ற முடியாது. இந்த உணர்வோடு நாம் வாழ்வோமானால் நமது வாழ்க்கையும், பேச்சுக்களும் செயல்பாடுகளும் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்றவையாக, வித்தியாசமானவையாக இருக்கும்.

Scripture Meditation - No. 1,485

AATHAVAN💚 March 02, 2025 💚 Sunday 

"Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do." (Hebrews 4:13, KJV)

In this world, God is silently observing all our actions. However, we often fail to realize this. Today, humans have used their intellectual abilities to create CCTV cameras. Through these cameras, various thefts and wrongdoings are detected, and the guilty are punished. If human intelligence can create such surveillance tools, imagine how much more powerful God's knowledge must be!

When people know they are being watched, they generally behave well. In many shops and public places, signs like "You are under CCTV surveillance" are displayed. In such places, people tend to act responsibly, fearing punishment if they misbehave.

Beloved, in the same way, God is watching over us. Today's meditation verse warns us: "Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do." This reminds us that nothing is hidden from God, and we must give an account to Him.

Consider the story of Ananias and Sapphira, who sold their property and kept back part of the money for themselves while presenting the rest to Peter. The money was rightfully theirs, but once they decided to dedicate it to God, it belonged to Him. By withholding a portion, they deceived not man but God. Their action was not hidden from Him, and through the Holy Spirit, God revealed their deceit to Peter. Peter said to Ananias, "Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?" (Acts 5:3, KJV)

Yes, when God judges us by His Word, we cannot deceive Him. "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12, KJV)

Therefore, let us live our spiritual lives with great care. God watches over us with far greater power than any CCTV camera. When He judges us by His Word, we cannot deceive Him. If we live with this awareness, our lives, words, and actions will be pleasing and distinct in His sight.

❤️Meditation verse - உன்னதப்பாட்டு 8: 7 / Song of Solomon 8:7

வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,484    

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 01, 2025. 💚சனிக்கிழமை  

"திரளான தண்ணீர்கள் நேசத்தை அவிக்கமாட்டாது, வெள்ளங்களும் அதைத் தணிக்கமாட்டாது; ஒருவன் தன் வீட்டிலுள்ள ஆஸ்திகளையெல்லாம் நேசத்துக்காகக் கொடுத்தாலும், அது முற்றிலும் அசட்டைபண்ணப்படும்." ( உன்னதப்பாட்டு 8: 7)

தேவன்மேல் அன்புகொண்ட மெய்யான பக்தன் கூறும் வார்த்தைகளே இன்றைய தியான வசனம். இந்த வசனம் முழுவதும் வேத சத்தியங்களை  உருவகமாகக் கூறி நம்மை அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது.  

நாம் தேவன்மேல் உண்மையான அன்புகொண்டு வாழ்வோமானால் தேவன்மேலுள்ள அந்த அன்பை துன்பங்களோ வேதனைகளோ குறைந்திடச் செய்யாது.  இதனையே, "திரளான தண்ணீர்கள் நேசத்தை அவிக்கமாட்டாது, வெள்ளங்களும் அதைத் தணிக்கமாட்டாது" என்று இந்த வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. காரணம் தேவன் நம்மோடு இருக்கின்றார் எனும் உறுதி நாம் அவரை மெய்யாக அன்பு செய்யும்போது நமக்கு உண்டாகும். "நீ தண்ணீர்களைக் கடக்கும்போது நான் உன்னோடு இருப்பேன்; நீ ஆறுகளைக் கடக்கும்போது அவைகள் உன்மேல் புரளுவதில்லை; நீ அக்கினியில் நடக்கும்போது வேகாதிருப்பாய்; அக்கினிஜூவாலை உன்பேரில் பற்றாது." ( ஏசாயா 43: 2) என வாக்களித்துள்ளாரே தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். 

மேலும் தேவன்மேல் பற்றுக்கொண்டவனுக்கு உலக செல்வங்கள் பெரிதாகத் தெரியாது. யாராவது கிறிஸ்துவின் மெய்யான விசுவாசியிடம் வந்து, "என்னை அன்புசெய்" என்றாவது அல்லது "நான் வணங்கும் தெய்வத்தை வணங்கு உனக்குப் பணம் தருகின்றேன்" என்றாவது கூறினாலும்; அவன் எத்தனைக் கோடி பணம் கொடுத்தாலும் அதனை மெய்யான விசுவாசி அசட்டைபண்ணிவிடுவான். இதனையே, "ஒருவன் தன் வீட்டிலுள்ள ஆஸ்திகளையெல்லாம் நேசத்துக்காகக் கொடுத்தாலும், அது முற்றிலும் அசட்டைபண்ணப்படும்." என்று பக்தன் கூறுகின்றான். 

இதற்கு மாறாக, தேவன்மேல் பற்றுகொண்டவன் தனக்கு உள்ளவை அனைத்தையும் கொடுத்தாவது அவரை வாழ்வில் பெற்றுக்கொள்வதையே விரும்புவான். இதனையே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "அன்றியும், பரலோகராஜ்யம் நிலத்தில் புதைத்திருக்கிற பொக்கிஷத்துக்கு ஒப்பாயிருக்கிறது; அதை ஒரு மனுஷன் கண்டு, மறைத்து, அதைப்பற்றிய சந்தோஷத்தினாலே போய், தனக்கு உண்டான எல்லாவற்றையும் விற்று, அந்த நிலத்தைக்கொள்ளுகிறான்." ( மத்தேயு 13: 44) என்று கூறினார். ஆம் மெய்யான விசுவாசி தேவனை வாழ்வில் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள தன்னிடம் உள்ளதையும் இழக்கத் துணிந்தவனாக இருப்பான்.  அதாவது, இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதுபோல அவன் தேவன்மேல் கொள்ளும் நேசத்துக்காகக் அனைத்துச் செல்வங்களையும் முற்றிலும் அசட்டைபண்ணி விடுவான். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதுபோல நாம் வாழ்வதையே தேவன் விரும்புகின்றார். வெள்ளம்போன்ற துன்பங்கள் பிரச்சனைகள் வாழ்வில் ஏற்படும்போதும்  யோபு கொண்டதுபோன்ற தேவன்மேல் அசைக்கமுடியாத அன்பு நமக்கு இருக்கவேண்டும். இரண்டாவது,  உலக செல்வங்கள் ஆஸ்திகளை வாழ்வில் பெறவேண்டும் என்பதற்காக அவரை மறுதலிக்காமல் வாழவேண்டும்.  

"ஆண்டவரே, திரளான தண்ணீர்கள் போன்ற துன்பங்களும் பிரச்சனைகளும் உம்மேல் கொண்ட எனது நேசத்தை குறைத்திடாது, வெள்ளங்களும் அதைத் தணிக்கமாட்டாது; எவராவது தன் வீட்டிலுள்ள ஆஸ்திகளையெல்லாம் என்னிடம் கொடுத்து தன்னை அல்லது தான் வணங்கும் பிற தெய்வங்களை நேசிக்கச்சொல்லி என்னை வேண்டினாலும் நான் அவற்றை  முற்றிலும் அசட்டைபண்ணிவிடுவேன்" என்று உறுதியுடன் கூறி தேவன்மேல் மட்டுமே விசுவாசத்துடன் வாழ்வோம்.

Scripture Meditation - No.: 1,484

AATHAVAN 💚 March 01, 2025 💚 Saturday

"Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned." (Song of Solomon 8:7, KJV)

These are the words of a true devotee who loves God deeply. This verse uses profound metaphors to teach us divine truths.

If we live with genuine love for God, no suffering or trials can diminish that love. This is beautifully expressed in the verse: "Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it." The reason is that when we truly love God, we are assured of His presence with us. As the Lord Himself promises: "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee." (Isaiah 43:2, KJV).

Moreover, for one who is devoted to God, worldly riches hold no great value. If someone were to approach a true believer in Christ and say, "Love me," or "Worship the god I serve, and I will give you money," no matter how much wealth they offer, the true believer would utterly despise it. This is what the devotee means when he says, "If a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned."

On the contrary, one who is devoted to God is willing to give up everything they have to gain Him in their life. This is what Jesus Christ taught: "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field." (Matthew 13:44, KJV). Yes, a true believer is willing to lose all they have to gain God in their life. As today’s meditation verse says, they will utterly despise all their wealth for the sake of their love for God.

God desires us to live as this meditation verse teaches. Even when floods of suffering and problems arise in our lives, we must have an unshakable love for God, like Job. Secondly, we must not deny Him for the sake of gaining worldly riches or possessions.

"O Lord, may the many waters of suffering and problems not diminish my love for You, nor may the floods drown it. If anyone offers me all the wealth of their house and asks me to love them or worship other gods, I will utterly despise it." Let us live with such determination and faithfulness, loving God alone.
