 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,142       💚 மார்ச் 26, 2024 💚 செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை 💚

"அந்தந்தப் பருவத்திலே எங்களுக்கு மழையையும், முன்மாரியையும் பின்மாரியையும் கொடுத்து, அறுப்புக்கு நியமித்த வாரங்களை எங்களுக்குத் தற்காக்கிற எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்திருப்போம் என்று அவர்கள் தங்கள் இருதயத்திலே சொல்லுகிறதில்லை." ( எரேமியா 5 : 24 )

தேவனே ஏற்ற காலத்தில் மழையையும் பனியையும் பூமியில் அனுப்புகின்றார். பயிர்களின் அறுப்புக்காலங்களையும் அவரே ஏற்றவாறு நியமிக்கின்றார். ஆனால் பெரும்பாலான மனிதர்கள் இவை எதையும் தங்கள் மனதில் சிந்திப்பதில்லை. அவர்கள் தங்கள் உழைப்புதான் விளைச்சலின் ஆசீர்வாதத்தைத் தந்தது என எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். நாம் எவ்வளவுதான் உழைத்தாலும் தேவனது கரம் இல்லையானால் நமக்கு வெற்றி கிடைக்காது எனும் உண்மையை அவர்கள் உணருவதில்லை.

இன்றைய வசனம் இதனால்தான் கூறுகின்றது, "எங்களுக்குத் தற்காக்கிற எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்திருப்போம் என்று அவர்கள் தங்கள் இருதயத்திலே சொல்லுகிறதில்லை." அதாவது இந்த ஆசீர்வாதங்களைத் தந்த தேவனுக்கு நன்றியுள்ளவர்களாக மக்கள் வாழ்வதில்லை. அவரது கட்டளைகளுக்குப் பயந்து கீழ்படிவதும் இல்லை. (எல்லோரும் இப்படி இருப்பதில்லை ஆனால் பெரும்பான்மையோர் இப்படியே இருக்கின்றனர்.)

பல வேளைகளில் புயலும் மழையும் ஏற்பட்டு பயிர்களின் விளைச்சல் அழிவுறுவதை நாம் பார்க்கின்றோம். விவசாயிகள் தங்கள் முதலீடு அழிந்ததையெண்ணிக் கலங்குகின்றனர். சிலர் கடவுளை சபிக்கின்றனர். சிலவேளைகளில் விவசாயிகள் தற்கொலைசெய்து தங்களை மாய்த்துக்கொள்கின்றனர்.

விவசாயம் மட்டுமல்ல, நாம் செய்யும் அனைத்துச் செயல்களிலும் நம்மோடு தேவனது கரம் இருந்தால் மட்டுமே நாம் ஆசீர்வாதம் பெற முடியும். "கர்த்தரின் ஆசீர்வாதமே ஐசுவரியத்தைத் தரும்; அதனோடே அவர் வேதனையைக் கூட்டார்." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 10 : 22 ) என்று வேத வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. தேவனது ஆசீர்வாதம் என்பது பரிபூரண ஆசீர்வாதமாக இருக்கும்; அதில் வேதனை இருக்காது.

சிலரது வாழ்வில் அனைத்துச் செல்வங்களையும் அவர்கள் பெற்றிருந்தாலும் வீட்டில் நிம்மதி இருக்காது. காரணம், செல்வத்தின் திரட்சி மனநிம்மதியைத் தருவதில்லை. எனவேதான் வேதம் கூறுகின்றது, "தேவன் ஐசுவரியத்தையும் சம்பத்தையும் எவனுக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறாரோ, அவன் அதிலே புசிக்கவும், தன்பங்கைப் பெறவும், தன் பிரயாசத்திலே மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருக்கவும் அவனுக்கு அதிகாரம் அளிப்பது தேவனுடைய அநுக்கிரகம்."( பிரசங்கி 5 : 19 )

அன்பானவர்களே, "சஞ்சலத்தோடு கூடிய அதிகப்பொருளிலும் கர்த்தரைப் பற்றும் பயத்தோடு கூடிய கொஞ்சப்பொருளே உத்தமம்." (  நீதிமொழிகள் 15 : 16 ). எனவே தேவன் தரும் ஈவுகள் எவ்வளவு குறைவானதாக இருந்தாலும் அவருக்கு நன்றியுள்ளவர்களாய் இருப்போம். நமக்கு வாழ்வில் மழையையும், முன்மாரியையும் பின்மாரியையும் கொடுத்து, நம்மைத் தற்காக்கிற தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு நன்றியுள்ளவர்களாய் இருப்போம்; பயந்திருப்போம்; அப்போது அவர் நம்மை உண்மையான மகிழ்ச்சியால் நிரப்புவார்.

 RAIN, BOTH THE FORMER AND THE LATTER

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,142    💚 March 26, 2024 💚 Tuesday 💚

“Neither say they in their hearts; let us now fear the LORD our God, who giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season; he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.” (Jeremiah 5:24)

God sends rain and snow on the earth in due season. He also appoints the harvesting seasons of the crops accordingly. But most people do not have any of these things in their minds. They consider their labour to be the blessing of the harvest. They do not realise the fact that no matter how hard we work, we will not succeed without God's hand.

This is why today's verse says, “Neither say they in their hearts; let us now fear the LORD our God, who giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season.” It means that people do not live grateful to God, who gave these blessings. There is no fear or disobedience to his commands. (Not all are like this, but the majority are.)

Many times, we see storms and rains, and crop yields are destroyed. Farmers are worried that their investment has been destroyed. Some curse God. Sometimes farmers commit suicide.

Only if God's hand is with us can we be blessed in everything we do, not just farming. “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.” (Proverbs 10:22) says the scriptures. God's blessing will be a perfect blessing. There will be no pain in it.

Some people have all the wealth in their lives, but there is no peace at home. The reason is that the accumulation of wealth does not bring peace of mind. That is why the Bible says, “Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.” (Ecclesiastes 5:19)

Beloved, “Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith.” (Proverbs 15:16) So let us be grateful to God, no matter how little the gifts He gives us. Let us be grateful to the Lord God, who gives us rain in life, both the former and the latter, in his season. Let's be afraid. Then He will fill us with true joy.

கிறிஸ்தவம் மதமல்ல / CHRISTIANITY IS NOT RELIGION

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,141       💚 மார்ச் 25, 2024 💚 திங்கள்கிழமை 💚

"நியாயப்பிரமாணமில்லாமல் தேவநீதி வெளியாக்கப் பட்டிருக்கிறது; அதைக்குறித்து நியாயப்பிரமாணமும் தீர்க்கதரிசனங்களும் சாட்சியிடுகிறது. அது இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தினாலே பலிக்கும் தேவநீதியே; விசுவாசிக்கிற எவர்களுக்குள்ளும் எவர்கள்மேலும் அது பலிக்கும், வித்தியாசமே இல்லை." ( ரோமர் 3 : 21, 22 )

இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் கடைபிடிக்கவேண்டிய கட்டளைகளை தேவன் மோசே மூலம் கொடுத்தார். பத்துக் கட்டளைகளைத் தவிர மேலும் பல கட்டளைகளாக 613 கட்டளைகள் அடங்கியதுதான் நியாயப்பிரமாணம். மனிதர்கள் நீதியாக வாழ்வதற்காக இவை கொடுக்கப்பட்டன. ஆனால் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், இந்த நியாயப்பிராமாணக் கட்டளைகள்  இல்லாமலேயே தேவ நீதி கிறிஸ்துவினால் உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது என்று குறிப்பிடுகின்றார். 

அதாவது, பத்துக்கட்டளைகள் முதலான கட்டளைகள் இல்லாமலேயே கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் விசுவாசம்கொள்ளும் ஒருவன் இவைகளைக் கடைபிடிப்பான் என்று கூறுகின்றார். அதனையே, "நியாயப்பிரமாணமில்லாமல் தேவநீதி வெளியாக்கப் பட்டிருக்கிறது" என்கின்றார். "அது இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தினாலே பலிக்கும் தேவநீதியே; விசுவாசிக்கிற எவர்களுக்குள்ளும் எவர்கள்மேலும் அது பலிக்கும், வித்தியாசமே இல்லை." என்கின்றார். 

அதாவது, கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் விசுவாசம்கொண்டு ஒருவன் பாவ மன்னிப்பினைப் பெறும்போது அவனுக்குள் கிறிஸ்துவின் ஆவியானவர் வந்துவிடுகின்றார். அந்த ஆவியானவரே அவனை தேவனுடைய நீதிப்பாதையில் நடத்துவார். அந்த மனிதனுக்கு கட்டளைகள் தேவையில்லை. ஆம், கட்டளைகள் இல்லாமலேயே அவன் கட்டளைக்குட்பட்டு நடப்பான். 

 

"ஆதலால், மனுஷன் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் கிரியைகளில்லாமல் விசுவாசத்தினாலேயே நீதிமானாக்கப்படுகிறான் என்று தீர்க்கிறோம்." ( ரோமர் 3 : 28 ) என்கின்றார். 

கிறிஸ்துவின் நீதிப்பிரமாணம் நியாயப்பிரமாண கட்டளைகளைவிட மேலானது. அதனை கிறிஸ்து பல இடங்களில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார். "........என்று பூர்வத்தாருக்கு உரைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதே, நான் உங்களுக்குத் சொல்கின்றேன்" என்று குறிப்பிட்டு அவர் பல பழைய ஏற்பாட்டுக் கட்டளைகளுக்குப் புது மெருகேற்றினார். (காண்க;- மத்தேயு 5 : 21, 28, 32, 34, 39, 44. முதலானவைகள்) 

எனவே யூதர்கள் அவர் நியாயப்பிரமாண கட்டளைகளுக்கு எதிரி என்று எண்ணினார்கள். அவர்களுக்கு இதனைத் தெளிவுபடுத்தவே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, தனது மலைப் பிரசங்கத்தில்,  "நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தையாகிலும்  தீர்க்கதரிசனங்களையாகிலும் அழிக்கிறதற்கு வந்தேன் என்று எண்ணிக்கொள்ளாதேயுங்கள்; அழிக்கிறதற்கு அல்ல, நிறைவேற்றுகிறதற்கே வந்தேன்." ( மத்தேயு 5 : 17 ) என்று குறிப்பிடுகின்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நியாயப்பிரமாண கட்டளைகளை வரட்டுத்தனமாகக் கடைபிடிப்பதால் மட்டும்  நாம் கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு ஏற்றவர்கள் ஆகமுடியாது. கிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தினால் நமது உள்ளங்கள் மறுபிறப்படையும்போது மட்டுமே நாம் நீதியுள்ள ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழ முடியும். இப்படிக் கூறுவதால் நியாயப்பிரமாண கட்டளைகளை நாம் அற்பமாக எண்ணுகின்றோம் என்று பொருளல்ல; மாறாக கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் விசுவாசம்கொள்ளும்போதுதான் அவைகளை நாம் நிலை நிறுத்துகின்றோம். 

இதனையே, "அப்படியானால், விசுவாசத்தினாலே நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தை அவமாக்குகிறோமா? அப்படியல்ல; நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தை நிலைநிறுத்துகிறோமே." ( ரோமர் 3 : 31 ) என்கின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல். கிறிஸ்துவுக்கேற்ற மக்களாக வாழ்வதற்கு கட்டளைகளல்ல, அவர்மேல்கொள்ளும் விசுவாசமே முக்கியமாக இருக்கின்றது. இல்லாவிட்டால் கிறிஸ்தவமும் உலகிலுள்ள பிற மதங்களைப்போல தனிக்  கட்டளைகளைக்கொண்ட ஒரு சாதாரண மதமாகவே இருக்கும். ஆனால், கிறிஸ்தவம் மதமல்ல; கிறிஸ்து காட்டிய ஒரு மார்க்கம்.

"Now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets. Even the righteousness of God, which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe, for there is no difference" (Romans 3:21–22) 

God gave the commandments to the people of Israel through Moses. The law consists of 613 commandments in addition to the Ten Commandments. These were given so that men might live righteously. But the apostle Paul points out that God's righteousness has been created by Christ without these commandments.

That is, it says that a person who believes in Christ will keep the Ten Commandments without the commandments. He says, "Now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested. The righteousness of God, which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all those that believe," it is said. It works for everyone who believes there is no difference.

That is, when a person receives forgiveness for sins through faith in Christ, the Spirit of Christ comes into him. That Spirit will guide him in the path of God's righteousness. That man doesn't need orders. Yes, he will follow orders without orders.

"Therefore, we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law." (Romans 3:28)

The law of Christ is greater than the commandments of the law. Christ has mentioned it in many places. He added a new twist to many Old Testament commandments by noting, "You have heard that it was said to them of old times, but I say unto you." (See Matthew 5:21, 28, 32, 34, 39, 44, etc.)

So, the Jews considered him to be an enemy of the commandments of the law. That is why Jesus Christ, in his Sermon on the Mount, said, "Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets; I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil." (Matthew 5:17)

Yes, beloved, we cannot become Christlike just by obsessing over the commandments of the law. We can live a righteous life only when our souls are regenerated by faith in Christ. This does not mean that we take the commandments of the law lightly. Rather, it is only when we believe in Christ that we can follow them.

That is why the apostle Paul said, "Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: Yes, we establish the law." (Romans 3:31) It is not commandments but faith in Christ that is important to living as Christ-like people. Otherwise, Christianity would be an ordinary religion with its own precepts, like other religions in the world. But Christianity is not a religion; it is a way taught by Christ.

உம்முடைய கிருபை எவ்வளவு அருமையானது / HOW EXCELLENT IS YOUR LOVING KINDNESS

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,140        💚 மார்ச் 24, 2024 💚 ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை 💚

"தேவனே, உம்முடைய கிருபை எவ்வளவு அருமையானது! அதனால் மனுபுத்திரர் உமது செட்டைகளின் நிழலிலே வந்தடைகிறார்கள்." ( சங்கீதம் 36 : 7 )

மகா பரிசுத்த தேவனின் முன்னிலையில் பரிசுத்தமானவைகளே சென்று சேரமுடியும். மனிதர்கள் நாம் இயல்பிலேயே நம்முள்  பாவ சுபாவங்கள் கொண்டவர்களாக இருக்கின்றோம். எனவே தேவனது சந்நிதியில் சேரவேண்டுமானால் நாம் தூய்மையானவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். "தீட்டுள்ளதும் அருவருப்பையும் பொய்யையும் நடப்பிக்கிறதுமாகிய ஒன்றும் அதில் பிரவேசிப்பதில்லை; ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவரின் ஜீவபுஸ்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டவர்கள் மாத்திரம் அதில் பிரவேசிப்பார்கள்." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 21 : 27 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.

அதாவது நாம் பிதாவின் சந்நிதியில் சென்று சேரவேண்டுமானால் ஆட்டுக்குட்டியான அவரது குமாரனாகிய இரத்தத்தால் நமது பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட்டவர்களாகி தூய்மையடையவேண்டியது அவசியம். அன்பானவர்களே, நமது கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இதற்காகவே கல்வாரியில் இரத்தம் சிந்தி மரித்தார். இப்படி மரித்ததனால் "அக்கிரமங்களில் மரித்தவர்களாயிருந்த நம்மைக் கிறிஸ்துவுடனேகூட உயிர்ப்பித்தார்; கிருபையினாலே இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டீர்கள்." ( எபேசியர் 2 : 5 ) என்கின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல். 

இதனையே தாவீது இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில், "உம்முடைய கிருபை எவ்வளவு அருமையானது! அதனால் மனுபுத்திரர் உமது செட்டைகளின் நிழலிலே வந்தடைகிறார்கள்." என்று கூறுகின்றார்.  ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, அவரது கிருபையால்தான் நாம் பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட்டு அவரது செட்டைகளின் நிழலில் சென்று சேரும் வாய்ப்பினைப் பெற்றுள்ளோம். 

இது மனித முயற்சியால் உண்டானதல்ல; மாறாக இந்த வாய்ப்பு கர்த்தரது கிருபையால்தான் நமக்குக் கிடைக்கின்றது. "கிருபையினாலே விசுவாசத்தைக் கொண்டு இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டீர்கள்; இது உங்களால் உண்டானதல்ல, இது தேவனுடைய ஈவு" ( எபேசியர் 2 : 8 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல். எனவேதான் சங்கீத ஆசிரியரும் இன்றைய வசனத்தில், உம்முடைய கிருபை எவ்வளவு அருமையானது! என்று மனம் மகிழ்ந்து கூறுகின்றார். 

மட்டுமல்ல, இந்த கிருபையினால் உன்னதங்களில் பிதாவின் சந்நிதியில் நாம் கிறிஸ்துவோடுகூட அமரக்கூடிய வாய்ப்பினைப் பெற்றுள்ளோம். "கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் அவர் நம்மிடத்தில் வைத்த தயவினாலே, தம்முடைய கிருபையின் மகா மேன்மையான ஐசுவரியத்தை வருங்காலங்களில் விளங்கச்செய்வதற்காக, கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் நம்மை அவரோடேகூட எழுப்பி, உன்னதங்களிலே அவரோடேகூட உட்காரவும் செய்தார்." ( எபேசியர் 2 : 6, 7 )

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் எந்த வேளையிலும் கிறிஸ்துவின் கிருபையை இழந்திடாமல் காத்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும். மாயையான உலக காரியங்களுக்கு முன்னுரிமைகொடுக்காமல் இருக்கவேண்டும்.  "பொய்யான மாயையைப் பற்றிக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்கள் தங்களுக்கு வரும் கிருபையைப் போக்கடிக்கிறார்கள்." ( யோனா 2 : 8 ) என்று யோனா கூறுகின்றார். தேவனுடைய மகா மேன்மையான கிருபையினை உலகக் கவர்ச்சியால் போக்கடிக்காமல் நம்மைக் காத்துக்கொள்வோம். 

அப்போது, சங்கீதக்காரர் கூறுவதுபோல நாமும் "தேவனே, உம்முடைய கிருபை எவ்வளவு அருமையானது!" என்று கூறவும் அவரது செட்டைகளின் நிழலிலே வந்தடைடையவும் முடியும்.

           HOW EXCELLENT IS YOUR LOVING  KINDNESS

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No: - 1,140  💚 March 24, 2024 💚 Sunday 💚

"How excellent is your loving kindness, O God! Therefore, the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings." (Psalms 36:7)

Only holy things can enter the presence of the Most Holy God. We humans are inherently sinful. Therefore, if we want to join the presence of God, we must be pure. "And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, nor maketh a lie; but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life." (Revelation 21:27), it is said.

That is, our sins should be cleansed by the blood of His Son, the Lamb, before we enter the Father's presence. Beloved, our Lord Jesus Christ bled and died on Calvary for this. By so dying, "Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)" (Ephesians 2:5), says the apostle Paul.

This is what David said in today's meditation verse: "How wonderful is your grace! That is why the sons of men come under the shadow of your wings." says that yes, dear ones, it is by His grace that we have been given the opportunity to be forgiven of our sins and come under the shadow of His wings.

It is not made by human effort; rather, this opportunity is given to us only by God's grace. Apostle Paul says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God." (Ephesians 2: 8) That's why the psalmist says in today's verse, "How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! Therefore, the children of men put their trust under the shadow of your wings."

Moreover, by this grace, we have the opportunity to sit with Christ in the presence of the Father on high. "And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness towards us through Christ Jesus." (Ephesians 2:6, 7)

Therefore, beloved, we must at all times guard against losing the grace of Christ. Do not give priority to illusory, worldly things. "They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy" (Jonah 2:8), says Jonah. Let's keep ourselves from losing God's great grace to worldly attraction.

Then, as the psalmist says, we too can say, "O God, how wonderful is your grace!" and we can also reach under the shade of his wings.

சர்தை சபை / CHURCH OF SARDIS

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,139     💚 மார்ச் 23, 2024 💚 சனிக்கிழமை 💚

"உன் கிரியைகளை அறிந்திருக்கிறேன், நீ உயிருள்ளவனென்று பெயர்கொண்டிருந்தும் செத்தவனாயிருக்கிறாய்." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 3 : 1 )

சர்தை சபையின் தூதனுக்கு என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ள இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நம் அனைவரையும் நடுங்கச்செய்யும் வார்த்தைகளாகும். நமது செயல்பாடுகள் அனைத்தையும் கூர்ந்து கவனித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும் தேவன் நம்மைப்பார்த்து இப்படிக் கூறுவாரானால் எப்படியிருக்கும்?

நமது ஆவிக்குரிய செயல்பாடுகளைக்குறித்து நாம் அதிக கவனமுடன் இருக்க இன்றைய வசனம் நம்மை எச்சரிக்கின்றது. நம்மைப்பொறுத்தவரை நாம் செய்வதும், நமது ஆவிக்குரிய செயல்பாடுகளான ஜெபங்களும், வேதவாசிப்பும், ஜெபக்கூட்டங்கள் ஆராதனைகளில் கலந்துகொள்வதும்  மேன்மையானவைகளாக இருக்கலாம். ஆனால், தேவனது பார்வை வித்தியாசமானது. அவர் நமது மேற்படி செயல்களை மட்டும் பார்த்துத் தீர்ப்பிடுவதில்லை. நாம் செய்யும் செயல்களின் பின்னணி, செய்யப்படும் செயலின் நோக்கம் இவைகளையும் அவர் பார்க்கின்றார். 

எனவேதான் தொடர்ந்து அவர் கூறுகின்றார், "நீ விழித்துக்கொண்டு, சாகிறதற்கேதுவாயிருக்கிறவைகளை ஸ்திரப்படுத்து; உன் கிரியைகள் தேவனுக்குமுன் நிறைவுள்ளவைகளாக நான் காணவில்லை." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 3 : 2 ) நமது செயல்பாடுகள் மற்றும் உலக காரியங்களில் நாம் நடந்துகொள்ளும் முறைகள் இவைகளை அவர் நிறைவுள்ளவையாகக் காண முடியவில்லையானால் அவரது பார்வையில்  நாம்  உயிருள்ளவர்களென்று பெயர்பெற்றிருந்தாலும் செத்தவர்களாக இருப்போம். 

எனவே, இன்றைய தியான வசனம் வெறுமனே நல்லவை செய்து நாம் தேவனைத் திருப்திப்படுத்த முடியாது என்பதனைக் காட்டுகின்றது. நல்லவை செய்யுமுன் நாமே நல்லவர்களாக மாறவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது. இன்று உலக மக்களில் பலரும் பெரிய செல்வந்தர்களும், திரையுலக பிரபலஸ்தர்களும் பல நல்ல செயல்களை செய்கின்றனர். ஆனால் தேவன் ஒருவர் செய்யும் நற்செயல்களைவிட அந்தச் செயலைச் செய்யும் மனிதர்களது தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்கையினைப் பார்க்கின்றார். 

இன்றைய வசனத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து தேவன் கூறுகின்றார், "ஆகையால் நீ கேட்டுப் பெற்றுக்கொண்ட வகையை நினைவுகூர்ந்து, அதைக் கைக்கொண்டு மனந்திரும்பு. நீ விழித்திராவிட்டால், திருடனைப்போல் உன்மேல் வருவேன்; நான் உன்மேல் வரும்வேளையை அறியாதிருப்பாய்". ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 3 : 3 ) அதாவது தேவ வசனத்தை கேட்டு, கேட்டவைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு மனம்திரும்பிய வாழ்க்கை வாழவேண்டும் என்கின்றார் தேவன். இல்லாவிட்டால் நாம் நினையாத வேளையில் அழிவு வரும் என்று எச்சரிக்கின்றார். 

எனவே, பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட்ட நிச்சயத்துடன் தேவனோடு தனிப்பட்டத் தொடர்புடன் நாம் வாழவேண்டியது அவசியமாகும். எப்போதும் நமக்குள் தேவனைக்குறித்த பயமும் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்கையினைக்குறித்த எச்சரிக்கையும் இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

"நீ உயிருள்ளவனென்று பெயர்கொண்டிருந்தும் செத்தவனாயிருக்கிறாய்." என்று கூறிய இயேசு "ஒருவன் என் வார்த்தையைக் கைக்கொண்டால், அவன் என்றென்றைக்கும் மரணத்தைக் காண்பதில்லை என்று மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்". ( யோவான் 8 : 51 ) என்றும் கூறினார். இதிலிருந்து நாம் அவரது வார்த்தைகளை வாழ்வாக்கும்போது மட்டுமே உயிருள்ளவர்களாக இருப்போம் என்பது தெளிவாகின்றது. 

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, தேவனது வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்போம், அவற்றை வாழ்வாக்குவோம்; மனம்திரும்பிய வாழ்க்கை வாழ நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம். அப்போது மட்டுமே தேவனது பார்வையில் நாம் உயிருள்ளவர்களாக இருப்போம். அப்போது மட்டுமே நமது நற்செயல்களையும் தேவன் அங்கீகரிப்பார்.

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No: - 1,139 💚 March 23, 2024 💚 Saturday 💚

"I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead." (Revelation 3:1)

Today's meditation verse addressed to the Angel of the Church in Sardis is full of words that make us all tremble. How would it be if God, who is closely watching all our activities, looked at us and said this?

Today's verse warns us to be more careful about our spiritual activities. As far as we are concerned, what we do as spiritual activities such as prayers, scripture reading, and attending prayer meetings and services can be excellent. But God's view is different. He does not just look at our actions and judge us. He also sees the background of our actions and the purpose of our actions.

And so, He continues, "Be watchful, and strengthen the things that remain that are ready to die, for I have not found thy works perfect before God." (Revelation 3:2) If He cannot see our activities and the way we conduct ourselves in worldly affairs, we are dead in His sight, even though we are reputed to be alive.

Therefore, today's meditation verse shows that we cannot satisfy God by simply doing good things. It is necessary for ourselves to become good before doing good. Today many of the people of the world, rich and celebrities are doing many good deeds. But God looks at the personal lives of the people who do that deed rather than the good deeds that one does.

Following today's verse, God says, “Therefore thou shalt not watch; I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.” (Revelation 3:3) In other words, God wants us to listen to God's words, follow what we have heard, and live a repentant life. Otherwise, he warns that destruction will come when we do not know.

Therefore, it is necessary for us to live in a personal relationship with God. We should have the certainty that our sins are forgiven. It is necessary to always have the fear of God and be cautious about our spiritual lives.

The same Jesus who said, "Though you call yourself alive, you are dead," also said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, if a man keeps my saying, he shall never see death." (John 8:51) From this, it is clear that we are alive only when we live by His words.

So beloved, let us hear the words of God; let us live them; let us commit ourselves to living a repentant life. Only then will we be alive in the sight of God. Only then will God recognise our good deeds.

பாதைக்கு வெளிச்சம் / LIGHT UNTO PATH

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,138     💚 மார்ச் 22, 2024 💚 வெள்ளிக்கிழமை 💚

"உம்முடைய வசனம் என் கால்களுக்குத் தீபமும், என் பாதைக்கு வெளிச்சமுமாயிருக்கிறது." ( சங்கீதம் 119 : 105 )

நமது கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து மெய்யான ஒளியாக இருக்கின்றார் என்பதைக்குறித்து நேற்றைய தியானத்தில் பார்த்தோம். அந்த மெய்யான ஒளியிடம் நாம் அடைக்கலம்புகும்போது நமது ஒளி என்றும் குறைவில்லாமல் இருக்கும் என்றும் பார்த்தோம். இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது, தேவன் மட்டுமல்ல அவரது வார்த்தைகளும் நமக்கு ஒளியாக இருந்து வழிகாட்டுகின்றன. ஏனெனில் தேவனது வார்த்தைகளே தேவனாய் இருக்கின்றது. 

இதனையே யோவான் நற்செய்தியாளர் "ஆதியிலே வார்த்தை இருந்தது, அந்த வார்த்தை தேவனிடத்திலிருந்தது, அந்த வார்த்தை தேவனாயிருந்தது." ( யோவான் 1 : 1 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார்.

வயல்வெளிகளில் வேலைசெய்பவர்கள் அதிகாலையில் இருட்டோடு எழுத்து செல்லும்போது கையில் ஒளிக்காக டார்ச் லைட் கொண்டு செல்வார்கள். அந்த வெளிச்சம் வயல் வரப்புகளில் கிடக்கும் கொடிய பாம்பு, தேள்  போன்றவைகளை அடையாளம்காட்டி அவர்கள் பாதுகாப்பாகச் செல்ல உதவுகின்றது. 

இதுபோலவே நமது வாழ்க்கையிலும் தேவ வசனங்கள் நமக்கு ஒளிகொடுத்து உதவுகின்றன. இருளான வேளைகளில், வாழ்வில் இனி நமக்கு விடுதலையே இல்லை எனும் சூழ்நிலைகளில் தேவ வசனம் நமக்கு ஒளிதந்து நம்மை மீட்கின்றது. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே இதனை வாழ்வில் அனுபவித்த சங்கீத ஆசிரியர் தான் "உம்முடைய வசனம் என் கால்களுக்குத் தீபமும், என் பாதைக்கு வெளிச்சமுமாயிருக்கிறது." என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

மிகுந்த வட்டிக் கடனாலும், குடும்ப உறுப்பினர்களின் கொடிய வியாதியினால் மனம் சோர்வுற்று செலவுக்கு பணமில்லாமல் இனி நாம் செத்துத் தொலைவதே நல்லது என முடிவெடுத்து வேதனையுடன் நடந்துச்சென்ற கிறிஸ்துவை அறியாத பிற மார்க்கத்துச் சகோதரன் ஒருவர் ஒரு ஆலயச் சுவரில் எழுதப்பட்டிருந்த தேவ வசனத்தைப் பார்த்தார். அந்த வசனம்:-  "நீ பயப்படாதே, நான் உன்னுடனே இருக்கிறேன்; திகையாதே, நான் உன் தேவன்; நான் உன்னைப் பலப்படுத்தி உனக்குச் சகாயம்பண்ணுவேன்; என் நீதியின் வலதுகரத்தினால் உன்னைத் தாங்குவேன்." ( ஏசாயா 41 : 10 ) என்று  கூறியது. அது தேவனே அவரிடம் பேசியதுபோல இருந்தது.

அன்பானவர்களே, இந்த வசனம் இருளான அவரது வாழ்வின் பாதைக்கு ஒளியாக மாறியது. இருதயம் நொறுங்கி தேவனை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டார். தேவன் அவரது நிலைமையினை அதிசயிக்கத்தக்கதான ஒன்றாக மாற்றினார். அவரது சாட்சி பலருக்கும் ஒளியாகி அவரது இனத்து மக்கள் பலரை கிறிஸ்துவண்டைக்குக் கொண்டு சேர்த்து.  பல கிறிஸ்தவர்களுக்கும் அவர் கூறிய சாட்சி தேவ வசனங்களை அதிகமாக நம்பிட வழிசெய்தது. 

இன்றைய வசனத்தின் முந்தய வசனம் கூறுகின்றது, "உமது கட்டளைகளால் உணர்வடைந்தேன், ஆதலால் எல்லாப் பொய்வழிகளையும் வெறுக்கிறேன்." ( சங்கீதம் 119 : 104 ) ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, பாதைக்கு ஒளியாக இருக்கும் தேவ வசனங்கள் நம்மைஉணர்வடையச் செய்து பொய்வழியை வெறுக்கச் செய்கின்றது. 

நாம் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் புதுவாழ்வு பெற்றுள்ளோம் என்பதற்கு ஆதாரமே இதுதான். முதலாவது கிறிஸ்துவின் வசனம் நமது வாழ்வை மாற்றுகின்றது, இருளான நமது ஆத்துமாவுக்கு ஒளிதருகின்றது. தொடர்ந்து நாம் அவரது கட்டளைகளின்படி வாழவும் பொய்யான வழிகளை அருவெறுக்கவும் செய்கின்றது. வாழ்கைக்குத் தீபமாக விளங்கும் தேவ வசனங்களை தினமும் வாசித்து தியானிப்போம். நமது உலக வாழ்க்கையும் ஆன்மீக வாழ்க்கையும் பிரமிக்கத்தக்க மாற்றமடையும்.

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,138   💚 March 22, 2024 💚 Friday 💚

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." (Psalms 119:105)

We saw in yesterday's meditation that our Lord Jesus Christ is the true light. We have seen that our light will never fade when we take refuge in that true light. Today's meditation verse says, Not only God, but His words are our light and guide us. Because God's words are God.

This is what the evangelist John said: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1)

Those who work in the fields carry a torchlight in the early morning when going to work in the dark. That light identifies the deadly snakes, scorpions, etc. lying on the field bunds and helps them go safely.

Similarly, God's verses give us light and help us in our lives. In dark times, in situations where we no longer have freedom in life, God's Word gives us light and rescues us. Yes, beloved, the psalmist who experienced this in his life said, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path."

A brother of another religion who did not know Christ, who had decided that it was better to die and get lost because of the heavy interest debt and the fatal illness of his family members, and who had no money to spend, saw God's words written on a church wall. That verse read: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee; be not dismayed; for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." (Isaiah 41:10) It was as if God had spoken to him.

Beloved, this verse became a light on his dark path in life. Heartbroken, he cried out to God. God changed his situation into a wonderful one. His testimony became a light to many and brought many people of his race to Christ. His testimony led many Christians to believe God's words more.

The previous verse of today's verse says, "Through thy precepts I get understanding; therefore, I hate every false way." (Psalms 119:104) Yes, beloved, God's words, which are light on the path, make us realise and hate the false way.

This is proof that we have new life in Christ. First, the word of Christ changes our lives and gives light to our dark souls. It constantly causes us to live according to His commandments and to abhor false ways. Let us read and meditate on God's verses, which are a light for life. Our worldly life and our spiritual life will be wonderfully transformed.

நித்திய வெளிச்சம் / EVERLASTING LIGHT

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,137     💚 மார்ச் 21, 2024 💚 வியாழக்கிழமை 💚

"இனிச்சூரியன் உனக்குப் பகலிலே வெளிச்சமாயிராமலும், சந்திரன் தன் வெளிச்சத்தால் உனக்குப் பிரகாசியாமலும், கர்த்தரே உனக்கு நித்திய வெளிச்சமும், உன் தேவனே உனக்கு மகிமையுமாயிருப்பார்." ( ஏசாயா 60 : 19 )

கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து நமது வாழ்வில் வரும்போது நமது வாழ்க்கை ஒளியுள்ளதாக மாறுகின்றது. கர்த்தர் நமது வாழ்வில் தரும் ஒளியானது ஒருபோதும் மறையாமல் நிரந்தர ஒளியாக இருக்கும். சூரியன் சந்திரன் இவை உலகிற்கு ஒளிதந்தாலும் அவைகளுக்கு குறிப்பிட்ட காலங்கள் உண்டு. சூரியன் இரவில் ஒளிதராது; சந்திரன் பகலிலும் அமாவாசை காலங்களிலும் ஒளிதராது.   எனவே, இவைகளை ஒப்பிட்டு இன்றைய வசனம் கர்த்தரது நிரந்தர ஒளியை நமக்குக்  குறிப்பிடுகின்றது. 

மேலும் அடுத்த வசனம் கூறுகின்றது, "உன் சூரியன் இனி அஸ்தமிப்பதுமில்லை; உன் சந்திரன் மறைவதுமில்லை; கர்த்தரே உனக்கு நித்திய வெளிச்சமாயிருப்பார்; உன் துக்கநாட்கள் முடிந்துபோகும்." ( ஏசாயா 60 : 20 ) இன்று பல்வேறு துக்கங்களாலும் பிரச்சினைகளாலும் நமது வாழ்க்கை இருளானதாக இருக்குமானால் கர்த்தர் நமது வாழ்வில் வரும்போது சூரியனும் சந்திரனுமாக இருக்கும் அவர் என்றும் மறையாமல் நமக்கு ஒளிதருவார். 

எனவேதான் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் பிறப்பை விபரிக்கும்போது "இருளில் இருக்கும் ஜனங்கள் பெரியவெளிச்சத்தைக் கண்டார்கள்; மரண இருளின் திசையிலிருக்கிறவர்களுக்கு வெளிச்சம் உதித்தது என்று, ஏசாயா தீர்க்கதரிசியினால் உரைக்கப்பட்டது நிறைவேறும்படி இப்படி நடந்தது." ( மத்தேயு 4 : 15, 16 ) என ஏசாயாவின் தீர்க்கதரிசன வசனங்களை மத்தேயு நற்செய்தியாளர் மேற்கோள்காட்டி குறிப்பிடுகின்றார். 

யோவான் நற்செய்தியாளரும், "அவருக்குள் ஜீவன் இருந்தது, அந்த ஜீவன் மனுஷருக்கு ஒளியாயிருந்தது. அந்த ஒளி இருளிலே பிரகாசிக்கிறது; இருளானது அதைப் பற்றிக்கொள்ளவில்லை." ( யோவான் 1 : 4, 5 ) என்கின்றார். 

அன்பானவர்களே, நமது வாழ்க்கை எவ்வளவு இருளானதாக இருந்தாலும் கிறிஸ்து தரும் ஒளியை அந்த இருள் மேற்கொள்ள முடியாது. எனவே இந்த ஒளியான கிறிஸ்துவை நமது வாழ்வில் நாம் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது. அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் உட்பட, இன்று புனிதர்களாக கருதப்படும் பலர் ஒருகாலத்தில் இருளின் அந்தகார பிடியினுள் இருந்தவர்கள்தான். ஆனால் கிறிஸ்துவின் ஒளியால் இன்று இவர்கள் நமக்கு முன்மாதிரியான சாட்சிகளாக இருக்கின்றார்கள். 

நீதியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது நாமும் கிறிஸ்துவைப்போல ஒளிகொடுப்பவர்களாக மாறுகின்றோம். இதனையே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "நீங்கள் உலகத்துக்கு வெளிச்சமாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்; மலையின்மேல் இருக்கிற பட்டணம் மறைந்திருக்கமாட்டாது." ( மத்தேயு 5 : 14 ) என்று கூறினார். மட்டுமல்ல, பிதாவின் ராஜ்யத்திலும் நாம் ஒளிகொடுப்பவர்களாக இருப்போம் என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறினார். "அப்பொழுது, நீதிமான்கள் தங்கள் பிதாவின் ராஜ்யத்திலே சூரியனைப்போலப் பிரகாசிப்பார்கள். கேட்கிறதற்குக் காதுள்ளவன் கேட்கக்கடவன்." ( மத்தேயு 13 : 43 )

அன்பானவர்களே, நமது பாவங்களை மறைக்காமல் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவிடம் அறிக்கையிட்டு மனம்திரும்பும்போது கிறிஸ்துவின் ஒளி நம்மில் பிரகாசிக்கும். அப்போது இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுவது நமது வாழ்வில் நிறைவேறும். ஆம், அப்போது சூரியன் நமக்கு வெளிச்சமாயிராமலும், சந்திரன் தன் வெளிச்சத்தால் நம்மைப்  பிரகாசியாமலும், கர்த்தரே நமக்கு நித்திய வெளிச்சமும், மகிமையுமாயிருப்பார். நமது வாழ்வில் சூரியன் அஸ்தமிப்பதுமில்லை; சந்திரன் மறைவதுமில்லை; கர்த்தரே நமக்கு நித்திய வெளிச்சமாயிருப்பார்; நமது துக்கநாட்கள் முடிந்துபோகும்.

                      EVERLASTING LIGHT 

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,137    💚 March 21, 2024 💚 Thursday 💚

"The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee; but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory." (Isaiah 60:19)

When the Lord Jesus Christ comes into our lives, our lives become light. The light that the Lord brings into our lives will never fade away and will be a permanent light. Although the sun and the moon give light to the world, they have specific periods. The sun does not shine at night; the moon does not shine during the day or during the new moon. Therefore, in comparison with these, today's verse refers to the eternal light of God.

And the next verse says, "Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself; for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended." (Isaiah 60:20)

Today, if our lives are dark due to various sorrows and problems, when the Lord comes into our lives, He, who is the sun and the moon, will give us light without fading.

That's why, when describing the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, Matthew quotes the prophetic verses of Isaiah. "The land of Zabulon and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles; the people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death, light sprung up." (Matthew 4:15, 16)

And Apostle John said, "In him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." (John 1:4, 5)

Beloved, no matter how dark our lives are, that darkness cannot overcome the light of Christ. Therefore, it is necessary for us to receive this light, Christ, in our lives. Many who are considered saints today, including the apostle Paul, were once in the grip of darkness. But by the light of Christ, they are exemplary witnesses for us today.

When we live a righteous life, we become Christ-like light-bearers. This is what Jesus Christ said: "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be  hidden." (Matthew 5:14) He said. Not only that, Jesus Christ said that we will be light-givers in the Father's kingdom. "Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. "Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear." (Matthew 13:43)

Beloved, when we confess our sins to Jesus Christ and repent, the light of Christ will shine in us. Then today's verse will be fulfilled in our lives. Yes, then the sun will not be our light, and the moon will not shine on us with its light, but the Lord will be our eternal light and glory. The sun never sets in our lives; the moon never sets; the Lord will be our eternal light; and our sorrows will be over.

திரையுலகினருக்காக / FOR PEOPLE IN THE FILM INDUSTRY

"மனுஷன் உலகம் முழுவதையும் ஆதாயப்படுத்திக்கொண்டாலும், தன் ஜீவனை நஷ்டப்படுத்தினால் அவனுக்கு லாபம் என்ன? மனுஷன் தன் ஜீவனுக்கு ஈடாக என்னத்தைக் கொடுப்பான்?" ( மாற்கு 8 : 36,37 )

உலகத்தை ஆதாயப்படுத்துதல் என்பது உலக அதிகாரத்தைக் கைப்பற்றுவது அல்லது உலக மக்களது இருதயங்களைக் கவர்ந்துகொள்வது என்று பொருள்படும். ஒருவர் தனது வீரத்தால் இந்த உலக அதிகாரத்தைக் கைப்பற்றலாம். பல நாடுகளையும் தனது அதிகாரத்தின்கீழ் கொண்டுவரலாம். இப்படிக் கொண்டுவருவது உலகை ஆதாயப்படுத்துவது. 

மேலும், தங்களுக்கு இருக்கும் திறமையால் உலக மக்களது இருதயத்தைக் கவர்ந்துகொள்ளலாம். பலகோடி ரசிகர்களைத் தங்களுக்காக ஆதாயமாக்கலாம். இதுவும் உலகை ஆதாயப்படுத்துவதுதான்.  

உலகத்தை இப்படி ஆதாயப்படுத்த முயன்ற பலர் அழிந்து போயுள்ளனர். தங்களது ஜீவனை நஷ்டப்படுத்தியுள்ளனர். உலகினை தங்களது பலத்தால் அடிமைப்படுத்த நினைத்த நெப்போலியன், ஹிட்லர் போன்றவர்களது முடிவு நாம் அறிந்ததே. இவர்களது வாழ்க்கை தங்களது ஆத்துமாவை அழிவுக்குநேராகக் கொண்டுசென்றது. 

அமெரிக்கத் திரையுலகை தனது கவர்ச்சியால் மயக்கி கட்டிப்போட்டவள்தான் மெர்லின் மன்றோ. மொத்த உலக இளைஞர்களும் இவளது கவர்ச்சியான நடிப்புக்கும் இவளது ஆபாச பேச்சுக்கும் அடிமையாக  இருந்தனர். ஆம் அவள் தனது ஆபாசத்தால் உலக மக்களது இருதயங்களைக் கவர்ந்துகொண்டாள்; ஆதாயப்படுத்திக்கொண்டாள். ஆனால் 1962 ஆம் ஆண்டு தனது 36 வது வயதில் தற்கொலைசெய்து மடிந்தாள். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது,  "மனுஷன் உலகம் முழுவதையும் ஆதாயப்படுத்திக்கொண்டாலும், தன் ஜீவனை நஷ்டப்படுத்தினால் அவனுக்கு லாபம் என்ன? மனுஷன் தன் ஜீவனுக்கு ஈடாக என்னத்தைக் கொடுப்பான்?"

அன்பானவர்களே, இன்றும் இதுபோல தங்களது நடிப்புத் திறமையாலும் பாடல் பாடும் திறமை மற்றும்  நடனத் திறமையினாலும், எழுத்துத் திறமையினாலும் பலர் தங்களுக்கென ஒரு கூட்டம் மக்களை ஆதாயப்படுத்திக் கொண்டுள்ளனர்.  இதனால் பெருமைகொண்டு மற்றவர்களை அற்பமாக எண்ணிச்  செயல்படுகின்றனர். ஆனால் தங்களது சொந்த ஆத்துமாவை நஷ்டப்படுத்தினால் அதனால் என்ன லாபம்? 

பரலோகராஜ்யத்தின் மகிமைக்குமுன் உலக மகிமை அற்பமானதும் அழிந்துபோகக்கூடியதுமாகும்.  " பரலோகராஜ்யம் நிலத்தில் புதைத்திருக்கிற பொக்கிஷத்துக்கு ஒப்பாயிருக்கிறது; அதை ஒரு மனுஷன் கண்டு, மறைத்து, அதைப்பற்றிய சந்தோஷத்தினாலே போய், தனக்கு உண்டான எல்லாவற்றையும் விற்று, அந்த நிலத்தைக்கொள்ளுகிறான்." ( மத்தேயு 13 : 44 ) என்றார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து.

நமக்குள்ள திறமைகள், பலம் இவற்றை உலகத்தை ஆதாயப்படுத்தப்  பயன்படுத்தாமல் இவற்றை இழந்தாலும் பரவாயில்லை பரலோகராஜ்யத்தை நாம் இழந்துவிடக்கூடாது என்று செயல்படவேண்டும்.  நிலத்தில் மறைந்துள்ள புதையலைக் கண்ட மனிதன் தனக்குள்ள எல்லாவற்றையும் விற்று அந்த நிலத்தைக் கொண்ட மனிதனைப்போல நாமும் செயல்படவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  நமது திறமைகள் பரலோகராஜ்யத்தை நாம் அடைந்திடத் தடையாக இருக்குமானால் அவற்றை உதறித் தள்ளி நமது ஆத்துமாவை நாம் காப்பாற்றிக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்.  

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, உலகம் முழுவதையும் ஆதாயப்படுத்திக்கொண்டாலும், நமது ஜீவனை நஷ்டப்படுத்தினால் நமக்கு லாபம் என்ன?  உலக பெருமைகொண்டு  கவர்ச்சியில் மக்களைத் தங்கள்பால் ஈர்க்கத் துடிக்கும் திரையுலகினர் மனம் மாறிட அவர்களுக்காக ஜெபிப்போம்.

       FOR PEOPLE IN THE FILM INDUSTRY

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,136    💚 March 20, 2024 💚 Wednesday 💚

"For what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" (Mark 8:36, 37)

Gaining the world means capturing world power or winning the hearts of the world's people. One can conquer this worldly power through his heroism. He can bring many countries under his authority. To bring such is to gain the world.

Also, they can win the hearts of people around the world with their talent. They can gain millions of fans for themselves. This too is to gain the world.

Many who have tried to gain the world in this way have perished. They have lost their lives. We know the result of people like Napoleon and Hitler who wanted to enslave the world with their power. Their lives have led their souls to destruction.

Marilyn Monroe was an actress who captivated the American film industry with her charm. The youth of the whole world were addicted to her attractive performance and her obscene speech. Yes, she won the hearts of the world with her lewdness. She took advantage. But she committed suicide in 1962 at the age of 36.

Today's meditation verse says, What shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"

Beloved, even today, many people have won a crowd for themselves with their acting skills, singing and dancing skills, and writing skills. This makes them proud and belittles others. But what is the benefit of losing their own soul?

Worldly glory is insignificant and perishable before the glory of the kingdom of heaven. "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field." (Matthew 13:44), said Jesus Christ.

We must act so that we do not lose the kingdom of heaven, even if we lose our talents and strengths and do not use them to gain the world. It is necessary for us to act like the man who found the treasure hidden in the land, sold everything he had, and owned the land. If our talents are hindering us from reaching the kingdom of heaven, we must discard them to save our souls.

Yes, dear ones, if we gain the whole world but lose our lives, what shall we gain? Let us pray for the change of heart of people in the film industry who strive to attract people with their worldly pride and charm.

மெல்கிசேதேக்கின் முறைமை / ORDER OF MELCHISEDEC

 'ஆதவன்' 📖✝ வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,135     💚 மார்ச் 19, 2024 💚 செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை 💚

"அவர் குமாரனாயிருந்தும் பட்டபாடுகளினாலே கீழ்ப்படிதலைக் கற்றுக்கொண்டு, தாம் பூரணரானபின்பு, தமக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிற யாவரும் நித்திய இரட்சிப்பை அடைவதற்குக் காரணராகி, மெல்கிசேதேக்கின் முறைமையின்படியான பிரதான ஆசாரியர் என்று தேவனாலே நாமம் தரிக்கப்பட்டார்." ( எபிரெயர் 5 : 8 - 10 )

பழைய ஏற்பாட்டுக் காலத்தில் பிரதான ஆசாரியர்கள் மட்டுமே ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்தின் மகாபரிசுத்தஸ்தலதினுள் நுழைய முடியும். அதுவும் மிருகங்களின் இரத்தத்தால் தங்களது பாவங்களைக் கழுவி சுத்திகரித்தபின்னரே அப்படி நுழைய முடியும்.  ஆனால் இன்று பரலோகத்திலுள்ள மகாபரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தினுள் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் விசுவாசம்கொள்ளும் நாம் அனைவருமே நுழையலாம். அதற்கான வழியை இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தனது பாடு, மரணம், உயிர்த்தெழுதல் மூலம் உருவாக்கியுள்ளார். 

நமது கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து மெல்கிசேதேக்கின் முறைமையின்படி தேவனால் தலைமை ஆசாரியராக நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். இப்படி அவர் மெல்கிசேதேக்கின் முறைமையின்படி தலைமை ஆசாரியனாக தேவனால் நியமிக்கப்பட காரணமாக இருந்தவை என்னென்ன என்பதனை இன்றைய வசனம் விளக்குகின்றது.

பெருமையில்லாமல் தன்னைத் தாழ்த்தி பாடுபடுதல், கீழ்ப்படிதல் அதன் மூலம் பூரணமடைதல் எனும் காரியங்கள் இங்கு குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளன.  அதாவது அவர் தேவனுடைய குமாரன்; தேவனுக்கு நிகரானவர். ஆனால் அப்படியிருந்தும் பிதாவின் சித்தத்துக்குத் தன்னை முழுவதுமாக ஒப்புக்கொடுத்துக் கீழ்ப்படிந்தார். 

"அவர் தேவனுடைய ரூபமாயிருந்தும், தேவனுக்குச் சமமாயிருப்பதைக் கொள்ளையாடின பொருளாக எண்ணாமல், தம்மைத்தாமே வெறுமையாக்கி, அடிமையின் ரூபமெடுத்து, மனுஷர் சாயலானார். அவர் மனுஷரூபமாய்க் காணப்பட்டு, மரணபரியந்தம், அதாவது சிலுவையின் மரணபரியந்தமும் கீழ்ப்படிந்தவராகி, தம்மைத்தாமே தாழ்த்தினார்." ( பிலிப்பியர் 2 : 6 - 8 )

இப்படி அவர் கீழ்ப்படிதலைக் கற்றுக்கொண்டு, பூரணரானபின்பு, தமக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிற நமக்கு  நித்திய இரட்சிப்பை அடைவதற்குக் காரணரானார். அன்பானவர்களே, எனவே கிறிஸ்துவை நாம் பின்பற்றவிரும்பினால் அவரைப்போன்ற கீழ்ப்படிதல் நமக்கு வேண்டும். தேவ வசனங்களுக்கும் தேவ சத்தத்துக்கும் நாம் கீழ்படியவேண்டும். உலகினில் நமக்கு வரும் துன்பங்களை முறுமுறுப்பின்றி சகிக்கவேண்டும். 

எகிப்திலிருந்து மோசேயால் கானானை நோக்கி வழிநடத்தப்பட்ட இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் பலர் அழிந்துபோக அவர்களது முறுமுறுப்பே காரணமாக இருந்தது. எனவேதான் "அவர்களில் சிலர் முறுமுறுத்து, சங்காரக்காரனாலே அழிக்கப்பட்டார்கள்; அதுபோல நீங்களும் முறுமுறுக்காதிருங்கள்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 10 : 10 ) என்று அறிவுறுத்துகின்றனர் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர். 

இப்படிக்  கீழ்ப்படிதல், துன்பங்களை முறுமுறுப்பில்லாமல் சகித்தல் வழியாக நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் பூரணமடைகின்றோம். கிறிஸ்து பூரணமடையவே இவைகள் தேவையாக இருந்ததென்றால் நமக்கு இவை எவ்வளவு அதிகத் தேவையாக இருக்கின்றன!!

இப்படி நாம் கீழ்ப்படியவும் துன்பங்களைச் சகிக்கவும் நமது மனித  பலத்தால் முடியாது என்பதால்தான் இயேசு கிறித்து நமக்கு பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரை வாக்களித்து அதனைத் தந்துள்ளார். இந்த ஆவியானவரை நாம் வாழ்வில் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளவேண்டும். "பரிசுத்த ஆவி உங்களிடத்தில் வரும்போது நீங்கள் பெலனடைந்து, எருசலேமிலும், யூதேயா முழுவதிலும், சமாரியாவிலும், பூமியின் கடைசிப்பரியந்தமும், எனக்குச் சாட்சிகளாயிருப்பீர்கள்" ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 1 : 8 ) என்று இயேசு கிறித்து கூறவில்லையா? 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, "பிரதான ஆசாரியர்" என்று தேவனாலே நாமம் தரிக்கப்பட்ட  கிறிஸ்துவே நம்மைப் பிதாவை நோக்கி வழிநடத்துகின்றவராக இருக்கின்றார். அந்தக்  கிறிஸ்துவைப்போல பாடுகளை சகிப்பதற்கும் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குச் சாட்சியாக நாம் வாழ்வதற்கும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் அபிஷேகம் நமக்குத் தேவையாய் இருக்கின்றது. எனவே ஆவியானவரின் அபிஷேகத்துக்கு வேண்டுதல் செய்வோம். மெய்யான கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்வு வாழ அவரே நமக்கு உதவுவார். அப்போது நாமும் நமது பிரதான ஆசாரியரான கிறிஸ்துவைப்போல மகாபரிசுத்த பிதாவின் அண்டையில் சேரமுடியும்.

               ORDER OF MELCHISEDEC 

'AATHAVAN' 📖✝ BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,135  💚 March 19, 2024 💚 Tuesday 💚

"Though he were a Son, yet he learned obedience by the things which he suffered; and being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all those that obey him; called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec." (Hebrews 5:8–10)

In Old Testament times, only the High Priests could enter the Holiest Place of the Tabernacle. And that too is possible only after washing and purifying their sins with the blood of animals. But today, all of us who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ can enter the holiest place in heaven. Jesus Christ has paved the way for it through his suffering, death, and resurrection.

Our Lord Jesus Christ was appointed by God as a high priest, like the order of Melchizedek. Today's verse explains the reasons for it.

The things mentioned here are self-abasement and striving, obedience, and thereby perfection. That is, he is the Son of God; he is equal to God. But even so, he surrendered himself completely to the Father's will and obeyed.

"Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God? But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men? And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross." (Philippians 2:6–8)

Thus, He learned obedience and became the cause of eternal salvation for us who obeyed Him. Beloved, therefore, if we would follow Christ, we must obey Him. We must obey God's words and God's voice. We should endure the sufferings that come to us in the world without grumbling.

Murmuring was the cause of the destruction of many of the Israelites, who were led by Moses from Egypt to Canaan. That is why the Apostle Paul says, "Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed by the destroyer." (1 Corinthians 10:10)

Through such obedience and enduring suffering without grumbling, we are perfected in spiritual life. If these things were necessary for Christ to be perfected, how much more do we need them?

As it is not possible for us with human strength to obey and endure suffering like Jesus Christ, He has promised us the Holy Spirit and given it to us. We must receive this spirit in our lives. Didn't Jesus Christ say, "But ye shall receive power; after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth?" (Acts 1:8)

Yes, beloved, it is Christ who is named by God as the "high priest" who leads us to the Father. We need the anointing of the Holy Spirit to endure suffering like Christ and to live as Christ's witnesses. So let us pray for the anointing of the Spirit. He will help us to live a true Christian life. Then we too can get near the Holy Father, like our High Priest Christ.
