🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 58 : 11 / Isaiah 58:11

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1722                                           ஆதவன் 25.10.2025 சனி  

"கர்த்தர் நித்தமும் உன்னை நடத்தி, மகா வறட்சியான காலங்களில் உன் ஆத்துமாவைத் திருப்தியாக்கி, உன் எலும்புகளை நிணமுள்ளதாக்குவார்; நீ நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சலான தோட்டத்தைப் போலவும், வற்றாத நீரூற்றைப்போலவும் இருப்பாய்." ( ஏசாயா 58 : 11 )

ஆசீர்வாதமான வாக்குத்தத்தங்களை கேட்கும்போதும், வாசிக்கும்போதும் எல்லோருக்கும் மகிழ்ச்சியுண்டாகின்றது. இன்றைய தியான வசனம் அப்படித்தான் நம்மை மகிழ்ச்சியடையச் செய்கின்றது. பலரும் இத்தகைய வாக்குத்தத்தங்களைத் தேடியே வேதாகமத்தை வாசிக்கின்றனர்; பல கிறிஸ்தவ ஊழியர்களும் இவைகளைப் பொறுக்கியெடுத்தே பிரசங்கிக்கின்றனர். 

பொதுவாக எல்லா தேவ வாக்குத்தத்தங்களைப்போலவே இந்த தேவ வாக்குறுதியும் ஒரு நிபந்தனையைக் கொண்டுள்ளது. நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சலான தோட்டம், வற்றாத நீரூற்று  போல நாம் இருக்கவேண்டுமென்றால் என்னசெய்யவேண்டும் என ஒரு நிபந்தனை இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின் முந்தின வசனத்தில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. "பசியுள்ளவனிடத்தில் உன் ஆத்துமாவைச் சாய்த்து, சிறுமைப்பட்ட ஆத்துமாவைத் திருப்தியாக்கினால், அப்பொழுது இருளில் உன் வெளிச்சம் உதித்து, உன் அந்தகாரம் மத்தியானத்தைப் போலாகும்." ( ஏசாயா 58 : 10 ) அதாவது சுருக்கமாக, ஏழைகளுக்கு உதவிடவேண்டும் என்று  இந்த வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

"பசியுள்ளவனிடத்தில் உன் ஆத்துமாவைச் சாய்த்து, சிறுமைப்பட்ட ஆத்துமாவைத் திருப்தியாக்கினால்" என்பது நாம் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ள நிபந்தனை. இந்த வசனம் கூறும் பசியுள்ளவர்கள், சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்கள் என்பன வெளிப்பார்வைக்குத் தெரிவதுபோல உலக பொருளாதார வறுமையைக்குறித்தும் ஆகாரக் குறைவைக்குறித்தும் மட்டும் குறிப்பிடவில்லை; மாறாக, ஆத்துமாவில் பசியுள்ளவர்களையும் குறிக்கின்றது. மெய்யான தேவனை வாழ்வில் அறியாமல் ஆத்தும திருப்தியில்லாமல் அலையும் மக்கள் பசியுள்ளவர்கள்தான்.  பல்வேறு உலக துன்பங்களால் நொறுக்கப்பட்டு ஆவியில் சிறுமையடைந்து அலையும் மக்கள் பசியுள்ளவர்கள்தான்.  "ஆவியில் எளிமையுள்ளவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்; பரலோகராஜ்யம் அவர்களுடையது." ( மத்தேயு 5 : 3 ) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் கூறவில்லையா?

மேலும் இதுபோல, நம்மிடம் இருப்பதை தேவையில் இருக்கும் மக்களுக்குப் பகிர்ந்து கொடுப்பதும் பசியுள்ளவனுக்கு இரங்குவதுதான். அன்று கோவில் வாசலில் பிச்சையெடுத்துக்கொண்டிருந்த மனிதனுக்குக் கொடுக்க பேதுருவிடமும் யோவானிடமும் பொருள் எதுவும் இல்லை. ஆனால் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இருந்தார். பேதுரு அந்த இயேசுவின் வல்லமையால் அந்தப் பிச்சைக்காரனுக்கு சுகம் கொடுத்தார். "அப்பொழுது பேதுரு: வெள்ளியும் பொன்னும் என்னிடத்திலில்லை; என்னிடத்திலுள்ளதை உனக்குத் தருகிறேன்; நசரேயனாகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் நாமத்தினாலே நீ எழுந்து நட என்று சொல்லி, வலதுகையினால் அவனைப் பிடித்துத் தூக்கிவிட்டான்; உடனே அவனுடைய கால்களும் கரடுகளும் பெலன் கொண்டன. ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 3 : 6, 7 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து எந்த இடத்திலும் பிச்சைகொடுத்ததாக நாம் வாசிக்கவில்லை. ஆனால், "உங்களுக்கு உண்டானவைகளில் பிச்சை கொடுங்கள், அப்பொழுது சகலமும் உங்களுக்குச் சுத்தமாயிருக்கும்." (லூக்கா 11:41) என்று கூறினார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, எனவே இப்படி நம்மிடமிருக்கும் பொருளாலும், திறமைகளாலும் தேவைப்படும் மக்களுக்கு உதவுவதும் பசியுள்ளவர்களுக்கு உதவுவதுதான். 

இப்படித் தேவையிலுள்ளவர்களுக்கும் சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களுக்கும் நம்மாலான உதவிகளை நாம் செய்யும்போது கர்த்தர் நித்தமும் நம்மை நடத்தி, மகா வறட்சியான காலங்களில் நமது ஆத்துமாக்களைத் திருப்தியாக்கி, நமது எலும்புகளை நிணமுள்ளதாக்குவார்; அதாவது ஆத்துமாவிலும் உலக பொருளாதார அளவிலும் நம்மைப் பலமுள்ளவர்களாக மாற்றுவார். அப்போது நாம் நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சலான தோட்டத்தைப் போலவும், வற்றாத நீரூற்றைப்போலவும் இருப்போம்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1722
AATHAVAN – Saturday, 25 October 2025

“And the LORD will continually guide you, and satisfy your desire in scorched places, and give strength to your bones; and you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.” (Isaiah 58:11, NASB)

Everyone rejoices when hearing or reading blessed promises. Today’s meditation verse is one such verse that brings us joy. Many people read the Bible searching for promises like these; and many Christian ministers also select such verses to preach about.

In general, like all the promises of God, this divine promise also carries a condition. If we are to become a watered garden and a spring whose waters do not fail, there is something we must do. That condition is mentioned in the preceding verse of today’s meditation passage:

“And if you offer yourself to the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then your light will rise in darkness, and your gloom will become like midday.” (Isaiah 58:10, NASB) In short, this verse says that we must help the poor.

“If you draw out your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul” — this is the condition given for us to be blessed. The “hungry” and the “afflicted” mentioned in this verse do not merely refer to those who are economically poor or lacking in food as it may seem outwardly; rather, it also points to those who are hungry in their souls. People who wander without true satisfaction because they do not know the living God are indeed the hungry ones. Those who are crushed by various trials of the world and broken in spirit are also the hungry ones. Did not Jesus Christ say, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven”? (Matthew 5:3)

Likewise, when we share what we have with those who are in need, we are showing mercy to the hungry.

At the temple gate, Peter and John had no money to give to the man who begged for alms. But they had the Lord Jesus Christ with them. Through His power, they were able to bring healing to that man.

“But Peter said, ‘I do not have silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—walk!’ And seizing him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened.” (Acts 3:6–7, NASB)

We do not read anywhere that our Lord Jesus Christ ever gave alms. Yet He said: “But give that which is within as charity, and then all things are clean for you.” (Luke 11:41, NASB)

Yes, dear beloved, when we share what we have—whether our possessions or our abilities—with those in need, that is truly helping the hungry.

When we extend our help to those in need and to the afflicted, the Lord will continually guide us, satisfy our souls even in times of severe drought, and make our bones strong. That means He will meet our needs and make us strong both spiritually and materially. Then we shall be like a well-watered garden and like a spring whose waters never fail.

🦋 Meditation verse - ஓசியா 2 : 19 / Hosea 2:19

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1721                                           ஆதவன் 24.10.2025 வெள்ளி 

"நித்திய விவாகத்துக்கென்று உன்னை எனக்கு நியமித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்; நீதியும் நியாயமும் கிருபையும் உருக்க இரக்கமுமாய் உன்னை எனக்கு நியமித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்." ( ஓசியா 2 : 19 )

கிறிஸ்தவ விசுவாசிகள் அனைவருக்கும் கிறிஸ்து மணவாளன்; நாம் அவரது மணவாட்டிகள் அல்லது மணப்பெண்கள். வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷத்தில் மணவாளன் மணவாட்டி என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. கிறிஸ்துவின் சபையும் விசுவாசிகளுமே மணவாட்டிகள். கிறிஸ்துவே மணவாளன். 

இன்று கர்த்தர்  "நித்திய விவாகத்துக்கென்று உன்னை எனக்கு நியமித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்" என்கின்றார். நான் உன்னை எனது வாழ்க்கைத் துணையாக ஏற்றுகொள்ளத் தயாராக இருக்கிறேன் என்று ஒருவர் மற்றவரிடம் கூறுவதுபோல உள்ளது இது. அதாவது நம்மை அவருக்கு உரியவர்களாக மாற்றுவேன் என்கின்றார். இந்த உலகத்துக்குரிய திருமணங்கள் பலவேளைகளில் முறிவடைந்து விவாகரத்தில் போய் முடிவடையும். ஆனால் அப்படியில்லாமல் கிறிஸ்துவுடனான விவாகம் நித்தியமானது; முடிவில்லாதது. 

விசுவாசி ஒருவர் மீட்பு அனுபவம் பெறுகிறார் என்றால், அவரை தேவன் தனது மணவாட்டியாகத் தெரிந்துள்ளார் என்று பொருள். இப்படி கிறிஸ்து ஒருவரைத் தெரிந்துகொள்வது அவரது கிருபையினால்தான். இதனையே இன்றைய வசனத்தில், "நீதியும் நியாயமும் கிருபையும் உருக்க இரக்கமுமாய் உன்னை எனக்கு நியமித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்." என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் அடிகளும் கூறியுள்ளார். "கிருபையினாலே விசுவாசத்தைக் கொண்டு இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டீர்கள்; இது உங்களால் உண்டானதல்ல, இது தேவனுடைய ஈவு." ( எபேசியர் 2 : 8 ) ஆம், கிறிஸ்து நம்மைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு அவரை நமக்கு வெளிப்படுத்துவது அவரது கிருபையினால்தான். 

இன்றைய வசனத்தில் நம்மை அவருக்கு மணவாட்டியாக அவர் தெரிந்துகொள்வேன் என்று கூறுகின்றார்.  அடுத்த வசனத்தில் அவர் கூறுகின்றார், "உண்மையாய் உன்னை எனக்கு நியமித்துக் கொள்ளுவேன்; நீ கர்த்தரை அறிந்துகொள்ளுவாய்." ( ஓசியா 2 : 20 ) ஆம், நாம் அவரால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்படும்போதுதான் மேலான சத்தியங்களை அறிந்து கர்த்தரை அறிந்துகொள்ளமுடியும். 

அன்பானவர்களே, இந்த உலகத்திலுள்ள எல்லா ஆசீர்வாதங்களிலும் மிகப் பெரிய ஆசீர்வாதம் கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்துகொள்வதுதான். நாம் ஒவ்வொருவரையுமே தனக்கு ஏற்புடையவர்களாக தெரிந்துகொள்ள கிறிஸ்து விரும்புகின்றார். ஆனால் அதற்கு நமது பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்படவேண்டியது அவசியம். நாம் நமது உள்ளத்தினை எந்த ஒளிவுமறைவுமின்றி அவரிடம் திறந்து காட்டவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது.  உண்மையான நீண்ட மண உறவுக்கு ஒளிவு மறைவு இல்லாத வாழ்க்கை அவசியம். 

மாய்மால வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்துகொண்டு வெறும் ஆராதனையிலும் வழிபாடுகளிலும் காலத்தைக் கழித்துக்கொண்டு வாழ்வதில் அர்த்தமில்லை; அவரை நாம் தனிப்பட்ட விதத்தில் அறியவேண்டியதே அவசியம். அதற்கு நாம் நமது மாய்மாலங்களை விட்டுவிட்டு நமது உள்ளத்தினை எந்த ஒளிவுமறைவுமின்றி அவரிடம் திறந்து காட்டவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது. 

நமது வாழ்க்கையின் எல்லா குறை நிறைகளும் அவருக்குத் தெரியும். எனவே நாம் அவருக்கு அஞ்சவேண்டியதில்லை. "ஆண்டவரே, எனது உண்மையான நிலைமை இதுதான்" என்று நமது பாவ நிலைமையை அவரிடம் அறிக்கையிட்டு மன்னிப்பை  வேண்டுவோம். "நம்முடைய பாவங்களை நாம் அறிக்கையிட்டால், பாவங்களை நமக்கு மன்னித்து எல்லா அநியாயத்தையும் நீக்கி நம்மைச் சுத்திகரிப்பதற்கு அவர் உண்மையும் நீதியும் உள்ளவராயிருக்கிறார். "( I யோவான் 1:9) 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, "நித்திய விவாகத்துக்கென்று உன்னை எனக்கு நியமித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்; நீதியும் நியாயமும் கிருபையும் உருக்க இரக்கமுமாய் உன்னை எனக்கு நியமித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்." என்கின்றார் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. நம்மை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள அவர் தயார்; அவரை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள நாம் தயாரா?

“I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and in justice, In favour and in compassion.” (Hosea 2:19 NASB)

For every Christian believer, Christ is the Bridegroom, and we are His bride. The Book of Revelation reveals this divine mystery — the Bridegroom and His Bride. The Church and the believers form the Bride, and Christ alone is the Bridegroom.

Today, the Lord says, “I will betroth you to Me forever.” It is as though He is saying, “I am ready to accept you as My life partner.” In other words, He promises to make us His own. Earthly marriages often end in disappointment or divorce, but the marriage with Christ is eternal and unbreakable.

When a believer experiences salvation, it means that God has chosen that person as His bride. Christ’s choosing is purely an act of His grace. That is why today’s verse says, “I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and in justice, in favour and in compassion.” The Apostle Paul also echoes this truth:

“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.” (Ephesians 2:8 NASB)

Yes, it is purely by His grace that Christ knows us and reveals Himself to us.

In the next verse, the Lord adds: “And I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness. Then you will know the Lord.” (Hosea 2:20 NASB)

Indeed, only when He chooses and unites us with Himself can we truly know Him and understand deeper truths.

Dear beloved, among all the blessings in this world, the greatest blessing is to know Christ personally. Christ longs to know each of us intimately as His own. But for that to happen, our sins must be forgiven. We must open our hearts to Him — without hiding anything. A genuine and lasting relationship requires a transparent life.

There is no meaning in living a superficial Christian life — spending our days in mere worship and rituals without truly knowing Him. We must leave behind all false appearances and open our inner being honestly before Him.

He already knows all our weaknesses and shortcomings. Therefore, there is no need to fear. Let us say, “Lord, this is my true condition,” and confess our sins to Him.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9 NASB)

Yes, beloved, the Lord Jesus Christ says, “I will betroth you to Me forever; I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and in justice, in favour and in compassion.”
He is ready to accept us — are we ready to accept Him?

🦋 Meditation verse - யோபு 23: 12 / Job 23:12

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1720                                           ஆதவன் 23.10.2025 வியாழன்    

"அவர் உதடுகளின் கற்பனைகளை விட்டு நான் பின்வாங்குவதில்லை; அவருடைய வாயின் வார்த்தைகளை எனக்கு வேண்டிய ஆகாரத்தைப் பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாய்க் காத்துக்கொண்டேன்." (யோபு 23: 12) 

கொரோனா காலத்தை நம்மில் யாரும் மறந்திருக்கமாட்டோம். பகல் நேரமும் இரவு பன்னிரெண்டு மணிபோல சாலைகள் வெறிச்சோடிக்கிடக்க பகலில் சாலையில் நடப்பவர்களைத் திருடர்களைப் பிடிப்பதுபோல போலீசார் பிடித்து விசாரணை செய்த காலக்கட்டம் அது. அத்தியாவசிய உணவுக்குக்கூட யாரும் வெளியே எளிதில் சென்றுவிடமுடியாது; சென்றாலும் எதுவும் கிடைக்காது. 

அப்போது பலரும் உணவுப்பொருட்களை வீடுகளில் பதுக்கிவைத்து கவனமாக உண்டனர். அதுபோல தேவனது வாயின் வார்த்தைகளைத்  தனக்கு வேண்டிய ஆகாரத்தைப் பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாய்க் காத்துக்கொண்டததாக  யோபு கூறுகின்றார். வீடுகளில் உணவுகள் கெட்டுப்போகாமல் இருக்க நாம் குளிர்சாதனப் பெட்டிகளில் சேகரித்து வைக்கின்றோம். இங்கோ பக்தனான யோபு தனது இருதயமான பெட்டியில் தேவ வார்த்தைகளைப் பாதுகாத்து வைத்துள்ளேன் என்கின்றார்.

உணவினைப் பாதுகாத்து வைப்பது மட்டும் முக்கியமல்ல, அதனைத் தகுந்த முறையில் பயன்படுத்தவேண்டியதும் அவசியம். எத்தனை கவனமாக நாம் உணவினைப் பாதுகாத்தாலும் அதனைப் பயன்படுத்தாவிட்டால் எந்தப் பயனுமில்லை.  தேவனது வார்த்தையான உணவினை யோபு பாதுகாத்து வைத்தது மட்டுமல்ல அதனைத் தனது வாழ்வில் பயன்படுத்தினார். இதனையே அவர், "அவர் உதடுகளின் கற்பனைகளை விட்டு நான் பின்வாங்குவதில்லை" என்று கூறுகின்றார். ஆம், தேவ வார்த்தையான உணவினை நாம் பாதுகாத்து அந்த வார்த்தைகளின்படி நடக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

தேவனது வார்த்தைகள் எனும் உணவு நமக்கு வேதாகமம் மூலம் அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அவற்றை நாம் எப்படி உண்ணுகின்றோம் என்பதே முக்கியம். ஏனெனில் தேவனது கிருபையின் காலத்தில் தேவ வசனமாகிய உணவு நமக்குக் கிடைக்கின்றது. ஆனால் இந்த உணவு கிடைக்காத பஞ்சம் வரும் என்று வேதம் நம்மை எச்சரிக்கின்றது. "இதோ, நான் தேசத்தின்மேல் பஞ்சத்தை அனுப்பும் நாட்கள் வரும்; ஆகாரக் குறைவினால் உண்டாகிய பஞ்சமல்ல, ஜலக்குறைவினால் உண்டாகிய தாகமுமல்ல, கர்த்தருடைய வசனம் கேட்கக் கிடையாத பஞ்சத்தை அனுப்புவேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்." (ஆமோஸ் 8:11)

வேத வசனங்களை சுவைத்து உண்ணும் ஆர்வம் நமக்கு இருக்குமானால் அவற்றை நாம் நமது உள்ளத்திலும் காத்துக்கொள்வோம். எசேக்கியேல் தீர்க்கதரிசிக்கு தேவன் அளித்த வார்தைகளைக்குறித்து அவர், "மனுபுத்திரனே, நான் உனக்குக் கொடுக்கிற இந்தச் சுருளை நீ உன் வயிற்றிலே உட்கொண்டு, அதினால் உன் குடல்களை நிரப்புவாயாக என்றார்; அப்பொழுது நான் அதைப் புசித்தேன்; அது என் வாய்க்குத் தேனைப்போல் தித்திப்பாயிருந்தது" (எசேக்கியேல்3;3)  என்கின்றார். 

மேலும், ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையாக இருக்கிறார். "ஆதியிலே வார்த்தை இருந்தது, அந்த வார்த்தை தேவனிடத்திலிருந்தது, அந்த வார்த்தை தேவனாயிருந்தது.' ( யோவான் 1 : 1 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். அந்த வார்த்தையான இயேசு கிறிஸ்து உயிருள்ள உணவாகவும் இருக்கின்றார்.   "ஜீவ அப்பம் நானே, என்னிடத்தில் வருகிறவன் ஒருக்காலும் பசியடையான், என்னிடத்தில் விசுவாசமாயிருக்கிறவன் ஒருக்காலும் தாகமடையான்." ( யோவான் 6 : 35 ) என்று தன்னை "ஜீவ அப்பம்" என்று குறிப்பிட்டார். ஆம், வாழ்வளிக்கும் வார்த்தையான அவரே உயிரளிக்கும் உணவுமாக இருக்கின்றார்.  

பக்தனாகிய யோபு தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைகளைத் தனது இருதயத்தில் பாதுகாத்ததுபோல நாம் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை நமது இருதயத்தில் பாதுகாத்து வைக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம்; எசேக்கியேலைப்போல அவரைச் சுவைத்து உண்ணவேண்டியது அவசியம். அவர் நம் ஒவ்வொருவர் உள்ளத்திலும் வந்து தங்கிட ஆர்வமுள்ளவராக இருக்கின்றார். "இதோ, வாசற்படியிலே நின்று தட்டுகிறேன்; ஒருவன் என் சத்தத்தைக்கேட்டு, கதவைத் திறந்தால், அவனிடத்தில் நான் பிரவேசித்து, அவனோடே போஜனம்பண்ணுவேன், அவனும் என்னோடே போஜனம்பண்ணுவான்." (வெளி 3:20) என்கிறார் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. 

தேவ வார்த்தையான கிறிஸ்து எனும் உணவினை உள்ளத்தில் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வோம்; சுவைப்போம்; ஆகாரத்தைப் பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாய் நமக்குள் அவரைக் காத்துக்கொள்வோம்.  அப்படியானால் யோபு கூறுவதுபோல அவர் உதடுகளின் கற்பனைகளை விட்டு நாம் ஒருபோதும் பின்வாங்கமாட்டோம்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1720
AATHAVAN – Thursday, 23 October 2025

“I have not departed from the command of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.” — Job 23:12 (NASB)

None of us will ever forget the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a season when even during the day, the streets were as empty as midnight. Those who dared to walk outside were questioned by the police as if they were suspects. People could hardly step out to buy essentials, and even when they did, little was available.

During those days, many stored foods carefully at home and ate sparingly. In a similar way, Job says that he treasured the words of God’s mouth more than his daily food. Just as we store perishable food safely in refrigerators to keep it from spoiling, Job stored God’s Word in the refrigerator of his heart.

However, merely storing food is not enough—it must be used at the right time. No matter how carefully we preserve it, food has no value unless it is eaten. Likewise, Job not only stored God’s Word in his heart but also lived by it. That’s why he said, “I have not departed from the command of His lips.” Yes, it is not enough to keep the Word—we must walk according to it.

The spiritual food—God’s Word—is given to us through the Bible. What matters most is how we receive and “eat” it. During this age of grace, God’s Word is freely available to us. Yet the Bible warns of a coming famine—not of bread or water, but of hearing the Word of the Lord:

“Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord God, “When I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine for bread or a thirst for water, But rather for hearing the words of the Lord.” — Amos 8:11 (NASB)

If we truly desire to taste and enjoy the Word of God, we will store it in our hearts. The prophet Ezekiel described his experience this way:

“Son of man, feed your stomach and fill your body with this scroll which I am giving you.” Then I ate it, and it was sweet as honey in my mouth. — Ezekiel 3:3 (NASB)

Moreover, the Lord Jesus Christ is the Word of God. We read, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1) That Word—Jesus Christ—is also the Living Bread. He said of Himself, “I am the Bread of Life; he that cometh to Me shall never hunger, and he that believeth on Me shall never thirst.” (John 6:35) Yes, the One who is the life-giving Word is also the life-giving Bread.

Just as Job treasured God’s Word in his heart, we must also keep the Lord Jesus—the Living Word—within our hearts. Like Ezekiel, we must taste and consume Him spiritually. The Lord longs to dwell within us, saying:

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.” — Revelation 3:20 (NASB)

Let us therefore receive Christ—the Living Word—into our hearts. Let us taste and delight in Him. Let us treasure Him more than our daily bread. Then, like Job, we too will never turn away from the command of His lips.

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1719                                           ஆதவன் 22.10.2025 புதன்    

"விசுவாசத்தினாலே நோவா தற்காலத்திலே காணாதவைகளைக் குறித்துத்  தேவ எச்சரிப்புப்பெற்று, பயபக்தியுள்ளவனாகி, தன் குடும்பத்தை இரட்சிப்பதற்குப் பேழையை உண்டுபண்ணினான்; அதனாலே அவன் உலகம் ஆக்கினைக்குள்ளானதென்று தீர்த்து, விசுவாசத்தினாலுண்டாகும் நீதிக்குச் சுதந்தரவாளியானான்." ( எபிரெயர் 11 : 7 )

நாம் நீதியுள்ள ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வதுடன் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் முழு விசுவாசம் கொண்டவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியதும் அவசியம்; அவரோடு ஐக்கியமான ஒரு உறவுடன் வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். நோவா அப்படித்தான் வாழ்ந்தார்.  "நோவா தன் காலத்தில் இருந்தவர்களுக்குள்ளே நீதிமானும் உத்தமனுமாயிருந்தான்; நோவா தேவனோடே சஞ்சரித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தான்." ( ஆதியாகமம் 6 : 9 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

இந்த நோவா  நீதிமானாக மட்டுமல்லாமல் கர்த்தர்மேல் பூரண விசுவாசமுள்ளவனாக இருந்ததால் ஆசீர்வாதம் பெற்றார்.  "விசுவாசத்தினாலே நோவா தற்காலத்திலே காணாதவைகளைக் குறித்து தேவ எச்சரிப்புப்பெற்று, பயபக்தியுள்ளவனாகி, தன் குடும்பத்தை இரட்சிப்பதற்குப் பேழையை உண்டுபண்ணினான்." என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

பூமியிலே மனிதர்களுடைய பாவம் பெருகியதால் தேவன் மனவருத்தம் கொண்டார். பூமியிலுள்ள அனைத்து உயிர்களையும் அழித்து ஒழிக்க எண்ணம்கொண்டார். இதனை நாம், "மனுஷனுடைய அக்கிரமம் பூமியிலே பெருகினது என்றும், அவன் இருதயத்து நினைவுகளின் தோற்றமெல்லாம் நித்தமும் பொல்லாததே என்றும், கர்த்தர் கண்டு, தாம் பூமியிலே மனுஷனை உண்டாக்கினதற்காகக் கர்த்தர் மனஸ்தாபப்பட்டார்; அது அவர் இருதயத்துக்கு விசனமாயிருந்தது". ( ஆதியாகமம் 6 : 5, 6 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

நோவா நீதியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்ததால், "நோவாவுக்கோ, கர்த்தருடைய கண்களில் கிருபை கிடைத்தது." ( ஆதியாகமம் 6 : 8 ) எனவே தேவன் அவருக்குத் தான் பூமியிலுள்ள அனைத்தையும் அழிக்க திட்டம்கொண்டதை வெளிப்படுத்தினார். அவன் "தற்காலத்திலே காணாதவைகளைக் குறித்து இவ்வாறு தேவ எச்சரிப்புப்பெற்று, பயபக்தியுள்ளவனாகி, தன் குடும்பத்தை இரட்சிப்பதற்குப் பேழையை உண்டுபண்ணினான்." 

அன்பானவர்களே, அன்று நோவா பேழையை உருவாக்கியபோது அதனைப் பார்த்தவர்கள், "இந்தக் கிழவன் பைத்தியக்காரன்" என்று எண்ணியிருப்பார்கள். வரப்போகின்ற அழிவை நோவா அவர்களுக்கு எடுத்துச்சொல்லி அவர்களை மனம்திரும்புதலுக்கு அறிவுறுத்தியபோதும் அவன் கூறியதை நம்பியிருக்கமாட்டார்கள்.  "அதனாலே அவன் உலகம் ஆக்கினைக்குள்ளானதென்று தீர்த்து, விசுவாசத்தினாலுண்டாகும் நீதிக்குச் சுதந்தரவாளியானான்."

விசுவாசத்தினாலே நோவா காணாதவைகளைக் குறித்து தேவ எச்சரிப்பு பெற்று செய்தி அளித்ததுபோல இன்றும் மக்களுக்கு எச்சரிப்பின் செய்தி பல்வேறு விதங்களில் அளிக்கப்பட்டுவருகின்றது. பல்வேறு தேவ ஊழியர்களின்  பிரசங்கங்கள், கட்டுரைகள், ஒளிப்பட வீடியோக்கள் வாயிலாக தேவ எச்சரிப்பின் செய்தி மக்களுக்கு அளிக்கப்படுகின்றது. ஆனால் அன்று நோவாவை அற்பமாக, பைத்தியக்காரனாகப் பார்த்ததுபோல இப்படிச்   செய்தியை அளிப்பவர்களையும் இன்று உலகம் பார்க்கின்றது; ஆம், கிறித்தவர்களே பலநேரங்களில் இத்தகைய எச்சரிப்பின் செய்திகளை நம்புவதில்லை. 

அன்று தேவனை விசுவாசித்து ஏற்றுக்கொண்ட நோவா விசுவாசத்தினாலுண்டாகும் நீதிக்குச் சுதந்தரவாளியானான். அதுபோல, தேவனது எச்சரிப்பின் செய்தியை விசுவாசித்து ஏற்றுக்கொள்வோமானால் மட்டுமே நாமும் அந்த தேவ நீதிக்குச் சுதந்திரவாளியாக முடியும். "விசுவாசத்தினாலே நீதிமான் பிழைப்பான், பின்வாங்கிப்போவானானால் அவன்மேல் என் ஆத்துமா பிரியமாயிராது." ( எபிரெயர் 10 : 38 ) என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

“By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world, and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.”
(Hebrews 11:7, NASB)

It is essential that we not only live a righteous life but also have complete faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, maintaining a deep, abiding relationship with Him. Noah lived such a life. The Scripture says,

“Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation; Noah walked with God.” (Genesis 6:9, NASB)

Noah was not only righteous but also full of unwavering faith in the Lord. Because of that faith, he received God’s blessing. As today’s verse reminds us,

“By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household.” (Hebrews 11:7, NASB)

When the sins of humankind increased upon the earth, God was grieved. He determined to destroy all living beings on the earth. We read,

“Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of mankind was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of their hearts was only evil continually. So the Lord was sorry that He had made mankind on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.” (Genesis 6:5–6, NASB)

However, because Noah lived a righteous life,

“But Noah found favour in the eyes of the Lord.” (Genesis 6:8, NASB)

God revealed His plan of destruction to Noah. Having received divine warning about events not yet seen, Noah, in godly fear, built the ark to save his family.

Dearly beloved, when Noah began to build the ark, those who saw him probably thought, “This old man has lost his mind!” Even though Noah warned them of the coming destruction and called them to repentance, they did not believe his words. Thus, “He condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.” (Hebrews 11:7, NASB)

Just as Noah, by faith, responded to God’s warning about unseen things, today too, God’s message of warning is being proclaimed in many ways — through sermons, writings, and visual media shared by God’s servants. Yet, just as the people of Noah’s time despised him and thought him foolish, even today many view these messengers with the same contempt. Sadly, even many Christians hesitate to believe such messages of warning.

But Noah, who believed and obeyed God, became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith. In the same way, only when we believe and accept God’s warnings by faith can we also become heirs of His righteousness.

“But My righteous one will live by faith; and if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” (Hebrews 10:38, NASB)

Let us, therefore, walk in faith like Noah — living righteously, believing God’s word, and holding fast to His warnings until the end.

🦋 Meditation verse - எபேசியர் 5 : 14 / Ephesians 5:14

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1718                                          ஆதவன் 21.10.2025 செவ்வாய்   

"ஆதலால், தூங்குகிற நீ விழித்து, மரித்தோரை விட்டு எழுந்திரு, அப்பொழுது கிறிஸ்து உன்னைப் பிரகாசிப்பிப்பாரென்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்." ( எபேசியர் 5 : 14 )

ஆவிக்குரிய சிந்தனையே இல்லாமல் உலக காரியங்களையே எண்ணி அவற்றுக்காகவே உழைத்துக் கொண்டிருந்தோமானால் நாம் இருளடைந்தவர்களாக இருப்போம். நம்மைக்கொண்டு யாருக்கும் எந்த பயனுமிராது. ஆத்தும காரியங்களைக்குறித்து எந்தவித சிந்தனையுமில்லாமல் உலக காரியங்களையே எண்ணி வாழ்வதை தூக்கம் அல்லது செத்துப்போன வாழ்க்கை என்று அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் குறிப்பிடுகின்றார். இப்படி மரித்தவன்போல வாழும் நீ உனது தூக்கத்தைவிட்டு எழுந்திருந்தால் கர்த்தர் உன்னைப் பிரகாசிக்கச் செய்வார் என்று கூறுகின்றார் அவர். 

உலக காரியங்களில் அதிகமான தூக்கம் மனிதனின் வாழ்வை நாசமாக்கும். தூங்குவதற்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்து நமது அன்றாட வேலைகளைச் செய்யாமலிருந்தால் தரித்திரம்தான் நம்மைத் தொடரும். " ................ தூக்கம் கந்தைகளை உடுத்துவிக்கும்." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 23 : 21 ) என்கின்றது நீதிமொழிகள். அதாவது சோம்பலாய் தூக்கத்திலேயே நாட்டம்கொண்டு இருப்போமானால் உடுத்துவதற்கு நல்ல ஆடை கூட இல்லாத நிலைமை ஏற்பட்டு கந்தலைக் கட்டிக்கொண்டு திரியவேண்டியிருக்கும்.

இதுபோலவே ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்விலும் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குரிய நாமோ தூங்குவதற்கல்ல, மாறாக விழித்திருந்து செயல்படவும் அவர் வரும்போது அவரை எதிர்கொண்டுச் செல்லத் தகுதியுள்ளவர்களாகவும் வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். எனவேதான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் கூறினார், "அப்படியே நீங்களும் விழித்திருங்கள்; ஏனெனில், வீட்டெஜமான் சாயங்காலத்திலோ, நடுராத்திரியிலோ, சேவல் கூவும் நேரத்திலோ, காலையிலோ, எப்பொழுது வருவான் என்று நீங்கள் அறியீர்கள்." ( மாற்கு 13 : 35 )

ஆவிக்குரிய எண்ணமில்லாமல் இருப்பவர்களை அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் இரவுக்குரியவர்கள் என்றும் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கை வாழ்பவர்களை பகலுக்குரியவர்கள் என்றும் கூறுகின்றார். "தூங்குகிறவர்கள் இராத்திரியிலே தூங்குவார்கள்; வெறிகொள்ளுகிறவர்கள் இராத்திரியிலே வெறிகொள்ளுவார்கள். பகலுக்குரியவர்களாகிய நாமோ தெளிந்தவர்களாயிருந்து, விசுவாசம் அன்பு என்னும் மார்க்கவசத்தையும், இரட்சிப்பின் நம்பிக்கையென்னும் தலைச்சீராவையும் தரித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கக்கடவோம்." ( 1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 5 : 7, 8 ) என்கின்றார். 

ஆவிக்குரிய எண்ணமில்லாமல் வாழ்வது உயிருடன் இருந்தும் மரித்துப்போன வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வதற்குச் சமம். எனவே, ஆவிக்குரிய தூக்கத்தில் இருக்கின்ற நாம் விழித்து, மரித்தோரை விட்டு எழுந்திருக்க வேண்டியது அவசியம்.  அப்பொழுது மட்டுமே கிறிஸ்து நம்மைப் பிரகாசிக்கச் செய்ய  முடியும். கிறிஸ்து நம்மைப் பிரகாசிப்பிக்கும்போது மட்டுமே நம்மூலம் மற்றவர்கள் கிறிஸ்துவைக் கண்டுகொள்ளமுடியும். 

கிறிஸ்துவோடு நம்மை இணைத்துக்கொண்டு ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் வளருவோமானால் கிறிஸ்துவின் மெய்யான ஒளி நம்மேல் துலங்கும். இதனையே, "அப்பொழுது கிறிஸ்து உன்னைப் பிரகாசிப்பிப்பாரென்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்." என்கின்றார் பவுல்.  "ஆகையால், மற்றவர்கள் தூங்குகிறதுபோல நாம் தூங்காமல், விழித்துக்கொண்டு தெளிந்தவர்களாயிருக்கக்கடவோம்." ( 1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 5 : 6 )

தேவனுடைய வீடாகிய நமது உடலும் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கையும் விழிப்புள்ளதாகவும் உயிருள்ளதாகவும் இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். ஏனெனில் வீட்டு எஜமான் எப்போது வருவார் என்று நமக்குத் தெரியாது.  "நீங்கள் நினையாதவேளையில் அவன் வந்து, உங்களைத் தூங்குகிறவர்களாகக் கண்டுபிடியாதபடிக்கு விழித்திருங்கள்." ( மாற்கு 13 : 36 ) என்கின்றார் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. ஒரு வகுப்பறையில் மாணவன் எப்போதும் தூங்கிக்கொண்டு இருப்பானென்றால் அவனால் எப்படித் தேர்வைச் சிறப்பாகச் சந்திக்கமுடியும்? 

நமது உடலானது பலவீனமானதுதான்; ஆனால் நமது ஆவி உற்சாகமுள்ளதாக இருக்கட்டும். உற்சாகமுள்ள ஆவியினால் நாம் செய்யும் விண்ணப்பங்களை தேவன் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வார். நமக்குப் பெலன் தருவார். எனவேதான்,  "நீங்கள் சோதனைக்குட்படாதபடிக்கு விழித்திருந்து ஜெபம்பண்ணுங்கள். ஆவி உற்சாகமுள்ளதுதான், மாம்சமோ பலவீனமுள்ளது என்றார்." ( மாற்கு 14 : 38 ) இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. தூங்குகின்ற நாம் விழித்து மரித்தோரை விட்டு எழுந்திருப்போம்,  அப்பொழுது கிறிஸ்து நம்மைப் பிரகாசிப்பிப்பார்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1718
AATHAVAN – Tuesday, 21 October 2025

“For this reason, it says, ‘Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you.’” (Ephesians 5:14, NASB)

If our thoughts are only fixed on worldly matters, striving merely for earthly things without any spiritual reflection, we are as those dwelling in darkness. Our lives will not benefit anyone. The Apostle Paul describes living without spiritual awareness—focused only on worldly affairs—as being asleep or spiritually dead. He urges us to rise from that slumber, assuring that when we awaken, the Lord will shine His light upon us.

Excessive attachment to worldly comfort leads to ruin. If one prioritizes sleep and neglects daily responsibilities, poverty will soon follow. As Proverbs warns:

“...Drowsiness will clothe one with rags.” (Proverbs 23:21, NASB)

That is, if we remain lazy and indulge in sleep, we will not even have proper clothing to wear, but end up wrapped in rags.

Similarly, in our spiritual lives, we are not called to sleep but to stay awake, active, and prepared to meet Christ when He comes. That is why Jesus said:

“Therefore, stay alert—for you do not know when the master of the house is coming, whether in the evening, at midnight, when the rooster crows, or in the morning.”
(Mark 13:35, NASB)

Paul also compares those without spiritual awareness to people of the night, while those who live in the Spirit he calls people of the day:

“For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who are drunk, get drunk at night. But since we are of the day, let’s be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation.” (1 Thessalonians 5:7–8, NASB)

To live without spiritual thought is to be alive yet dead. Therefore, we must awaken from our spiritual slumber and rise from among the dead. Only then can Christ make us shine. When Christ shines on us, others will see Christ through us.

When we unite ourselves with Christ and grow in our spiritual life, His true light will radiate through us. As Paul affirms, “And Christ will shine on you.” Hence, “So then, let’s not sleep as others do, but let’s be alert and sober.” (1 Thessalonians 5:6, NASB)

Our bodies, which are the temple of God, and our spiritual life must remain awake and alive. For we do not know when the Master will return. Jesus Himself warned:

“Stay alert, so that He does not come suddenly and find you asleep.” (Mark 13:36, NASB) If a student keeps sleeping in class, how can he perform well in the examination? Likewise, we must not sleep through our spiritual duties.

Our body may be weak, but our spirit must remain fervent. A zealous spirit makes our prayers acceptable to God, who strengthens us. Thus Jesus said:

“Keep watching and praying, so that you will not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Mark 14:38, NASB)

Let us therefore awake from our sleep and rise from among the dead, so that Christ may shine upon us.

🦋 Meditation verse - ரோமர் 8 : 1 / Romans 8:1

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1717                                          ஆதவன் 20.10.2025 திங்கள்  

     

"ஆனபடியால், கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குட்பட்டவர்களாயிருந்து, மாம்சத்தின்படி நடவாமல் ஆவியின்படியே நடக்கிறவர்களுக்கு ஆக்கினைத்தீர்ப்பில்லை." ( ரோமர் 8 : 1 )

இந்த உலகமுடிவில் தேவனது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புக்குமுன் நாம் அனைவரும் நிற்கவேண்டியது வரும் என்று வேதம் நம்மை எச்சரிக்கின்றது. நியாயத்தீர்ப்புக்குப்பின் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடைய வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்தவர்கள் நித்திய ஜீவன் எனும் முடிவில்லா வாழ்வினை அடைவார்கள்; துன்மார்க்கர்கள் நித்திய நரக அக்கினிக்கு இரையாவார்கள்.  இந்த நரக  அக்கினிக்கு இரையாவதே ஆக்கினைத் தீர்ப்பு. மாம்சத்தின்படி நடவாமல் ஆவியின்படியே நடக்கிறவர்களுக்கு இந்த ஆக்கினைத்தீர்ப்பில்லை என்று இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

ஏன் ஆக்கினைத் தீர்ப்பு இல்லையென்றால், ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து நமக்குத் தரும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் எல்லா சத்திய வழியிலும் நம்மை நடத்துவதால்தான். "சத்திய ஆவியாகிய அவர் வரும்போது, சகல சத்தியத்திற்குள்ளும் உங்களை நடத்துவார்; அவர் தம்முடைய சுயமாய்ப் பேசாமல், தாம் கேள்விப்பட்டவைகள் யாவையுஞ்சொல்லி, வரப்போகிற காரியங்களை உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பார்." (யோவான் 16:13) என்றார் இயேசு. சத்திய ஆவியானவர் நமக்குக் காண்பிக்கும் வழியில் நாம் நடக்கும்போது நாம் தேவனுக்கு எதிராகச் செயல்படுவதற்கு வாய்ப்பே இல்லை. எனவே, நமக்கு ஆக்கினைத்தீர்ப்பில்லை. 

மேலும் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் கூறினார், "நான் உங்களுக்கு உண்மையைச் சொல்லுகிறேன்; நான் போகிறது உங்களுக்குப் பிரயோஜனமாயிருக்கும்; நான் போகாதிருந்தால், தேற்றரவாளன் உங்களிடத்தில் வரார்; நான் போவேனேயாகில் அவரை உங்களிடத்திற்கு அனுப்புவேன்.. அவர் வந்து, பாவத்தைக்குறித்தும், நீதியைக்குறித்தும், நியாயத்தீர்ப்பைக் குறித்தும், உலகத்தைக் கண்டித்து உணர்த்துவார்". (யோவான் 16:7,8) இப்படிப்   பாவத்தைக்குறித்தும், நீதியைக்குறித்தும், அவர் நம்மைக் கண்டித்து உணர்த்துவதால் நாம் பாவம் செய்ய மாட்டோம். எனவே, நமக்கு ஆக்கினைத்தீர்ப்பில்லை. 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம், தெளிவாகக் கூறுகின்றது, " கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்கு உட்பட்டவர்களாயிருந்து, மாம்சத்தின்படி நடவாமல்" என்று. அதாவது நாம் நமது உடலின் இச்சைகளின்படி நடவாமல்  கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்கு உட்பட்டவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். இந்த உலகினில் தங்களைக் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொள்ளும் பலரும் பொதுவாகத்  தங்களுக்கு கிறிஸ்துவும் வேண்டும் உலக இச்சைகளும் வேண்டும் என்று விரும்புகின்றார்கள். எனவே,  அவர்கள் தங்களது மனம்போல வாழ்கின்றனர்; கிறிஸ்துவை பெயரளவில் ஆராதிக்கின்றனர். 

அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் இப்படியில்லாமல் நம்மை ஆவியின்படி நடக்க ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கவேண்டும். ஆவியானவரின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்கும் அனுபவம் நமக்கு வேண்டும். இன்று பலரும் வேத வசனங்களை கேட்கின்றனர். ஒரே வசனத்தைத் தாங்கள்  பிறந்ததுமுதல் கேட்டுக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர்; அதன் உள்ளார்ந்த பொருளைப் புரிந்துகொள்ளவில்லை; எனவே, அதனைத்  தங்களது வாழ்க்கை அனுபவமாக்குவதில்லை. 

ஆவியானவர் எச்சரிக்கையுடன் கூறுகின்றார், இன்று இந்த வேத வசனத்தைக் கேட்கும்போது, "இது என்ன எனக்குத் தெரிந்த வசனம்தானே ? இவன் என்னப் புதிதாகச் சொல்லிவிடப்போகிறான்?"  என்று எண்ணினீர்களென்றால் இந்த வசனம்  உங்களில் செயல்புரிய நீங்களே தடையாக இருக்கின்றீர்களென்று பொருள். "ஆண்டவரே, ஆவியால் வழிநடத்தப்படும் இந்த மேலான அனுபவத்தை எனக்குத் தாரும்" என்று ஜெபிப்பீர்களென்றால் தேவன் நிச்சயமாக இந்த அனுபவத்தால் உங்களை நிரப்புவார். ஆம், "கேட்கிற எவனும் பெற்றுக்கொள்கிறான்."

“Inside the Seeds” 🌳

Scripture Meditation No. 1717
AATHAVAN – Monday, 20 October 2025

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.” — Romans 8:1 (NASB)

The Bible warns us that one day we will all stand before God’s righteous judgment at the end of the world. After this judgment, those who have lived in a manner pleasing to God will receive eternal life — life without end. But the wicked will face eternal punishment in the fiery hell. This fiery punishment is what the Scripture calls condemnation.

Today’s verse declares that there is no condemnation for those who walk according to the Spirit and not according to the flesh.

Why is there no condemnation for them? Because the Lord Jesus Christ has given us the Holy Spirit, who leads us in all truth. Jesus said,

“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.” — John 16:13 (NASB)

When we walk in the path shown by the Spirit of Truth, we do not act against God. Therefore, we are not under condemnation.

Jesus also said, “But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment.” — John 16:7–8 (NASB)

Because the Holy Spirit convicts us of sin and righteousness, we are led to turn away from sin. Hence, there is no condemnation for us.

Today’s key verse clearly says, “Those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh.” This means that we must not live according to the desires of the body but live as those who belong to Christ Jesus.

Sadly, many who call themselves Christians today desire both Christ and the pleasures of the world. They live as they please, worshiping Christ only in name.

Dear beloved, let us not be like them. We must yield ourselves to walk according to the Spirit. We must experience the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to us. Many people hear Bible verses repeatedly — perhaps the same verses they’ve known since childhood — but they have not understood their deeper meaning; therefore, the Word has not become a personal experience in their lives.

The Holy Spirit gently warns us: if, while hearing today’s verse, you think, “I already know this verse. What new thing can he say?” — then you are the very reason this Word cannot work in you. Instead, pray: “Lord, grant me the higher experience of being led by Your Spirit.” Surely, God will fill you with that divine experience.

Yes, “For everyone who asks, receives.”
