🍒Meditation verse - அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 24: 25 / Acts 24:25

'ஆதவன்' 💚மே 08, 2025. 💚வியாழக்கிழமை

"அவன், நீதியையும், இச்சையடக்கத்தையும், இனிவரும் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பையும்குறித்துப் பேசுகையில், பேலிக்ஸ் பயமடைந்து: இப்பொழுது நீ போகலாம், எனக்குச் சமயமானபோது உன்னை அழைப்பிப்பேன் என்றான்." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 24: 25)

உண்மையினை நேருக்குநேர் சந்திக்க பலரும் விரும்புவதில்லை.  பேலிக்ஸ் ராஜாவும் அப்படியே இருந்தான். பவுல், நீதியையும், இச்சையடக்கத்தையும், இனிவரும் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பையும்குறித்துப் பேசுகையில், பேலிக்ஸ் பயமடைந்தான் என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். இந்த பயத்துக்குக் காரணம் என்ன? அவனிடம் நீதி, இட்சையடக்கம் போன்ற குணங்கள் இல்லை என்று பொருள். 

பொதுவாக மனிதர்களுக்குத் தங்களது குற்றங்கள் குறைகளையும் பாவங்களையும் பிறர் எடுத்துக்கூறுவது பிடிக்காது. அதிலும் ஆட்சி அதிகாரத்திலுள்ளவர்களுக்கு தங்களைப்  பிறர் குறைகூறுவது ஏற்கவே முடியாதது. ஆனால், அதனை ஏற்றுக்கொள்பவர்கள் தங்களது வாழ்க்கையினை மாற்றிக்கொள்ள வழியுண்டு. விசாரணைக் கைதியான பவுல் பேசிய பேச்சுக்கள் பேலிக்சை உள்ளத்தில் குத்தியதால் அவன் பயமடைந்தான். ஆனாலும் அவன் மனம் திரும்பவில்லை.  

அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் அடிகள் மேல்  யூதர்கள் குற்றம் சுமத்தி அந்தக் குற்றங்களை விசாரிப்பதற்காக அவர் உரோமையில்  கைதியாக இருந்தபோது அவரிடம் பேலிக்ஸ் ராஜா விசாரணை செய்தான். அவனுக்கு பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலரது பதில்களும் மறுமொழிகளும் சுவிசேஷ அறிவிப்புகளாகவே வெளிவந்தன. பவுல் பேசிய பேச்சுக்களைக் கேட்டு பேலிக்ஸ் பயமடைந்தான் என்று இன்றைய தியானத்துக்குரிய வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

ஆதவன் வேதாகம தியானங்களைச் சில கிறிஸ்தவ ஊழியர்கள் விரும்புவதில்லை. சிலர் ஏதாவது தேவையற்ற விமரிசனங்களைச் சொல்வார்கள். ஆனால் நான் கவனித்த ஒரு விசயம், குறைகூறும் இந்த ஒருசில ஊழியர்கள் வாழ்க்கையில் நற்சாட்சி இல்லாதவர்கள். தனது மனைவியை ஒதுக்கி வைத்துவிட்டு இன்னொரு பெண்ணை மனைவிபோல  சேர்த்துவைத்துக்கொண்டு வாழ்பவர்,   நிதி மோசடி வழக்குகளில் சிக்கி நீதிமற்றத்துக்கும் வீட்டுக்குமாக  அலைபவர், ரியல் எஸ்டேட் நடத்துவதாகக் விளம்பரம் செய்து பொய்களைக்கூறி ஒன்றுக்கும் உதவாத நிலத்தை அடுத்தவர் தலையில் கட்டிவிட்டு தலைமறைவு வாழ்க்கை வாழ்பவர்....  இவர்களே.

இதுபோன்ற செயல்பாடுகளைக் கொண்டவர்களுக்கு வேத வசனங்கள் கசக்கவேச் செய்யும்.  எப்போதும் ஆசீவாத வசனங்களையே கூறிக்கொண்டிருந்தால் பாராட்டுவார்கள். அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் பேசிய வார்த்தைகள் இதுபோலவே பேலிக்ஸ் ராஜாவை அச்சுறுத்தின. எனவே அவன், "நீ போகலாம், எனக்குச் சமயம் கிடைக்கும்போது உன்னை அழைப்பேன்" என்று கூறி அனுப்பிவிட்டான். 

அன்பானவர்களே, தேவன் எல்லோரும் மனம் திரும்பவேண்டுமென்று விரும்புவதால் பொறுமையோடு காத்திருந்து பல்வேறு விதமாகத் தன்னை மக்களுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றார். அந்தச் சந்தர்ப்பங்களை நாம் பயன்படுத்தாமல்  பேலிக்ஸ் ராஜாவைப்போல, "எனக்குச் சமயம் கிடைக்கும்போது பேசலாம், நீ போ "  என உதறிவிட்டோமானால் இரட்சிப்பு அனுபவத்தை நாம் பெறமுடியாது.  "அநுக்கிரக காலத்திலே நான் உனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, இரட்சணியநாளிலே உனக்கு உதவிசெய்தேன் என்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறாரே; இதோ, இப்பொழுதே அநுக்கிரககாலம், இப்பொழுதே இரட்சணியநாள்." (2 கொரிந்தியர் 6: 2)

குறிப்பிட்ட சில வேத வசனங்களைக் கேட்கும்போது நமக்கு எரிச்சலோ, கோபமோ பயமோ வருகின்றது என்றால் நம்மிடம் ஏதோ குறை இருக்கின்றது என்று பொருள். வசனத்தின்மேலோ, அதனைக் கூறுபவர் மேலோ கோபம் கொள்ளாமல் நம்மை ஆராய்ந்துபார்த்து தேவனிடம் மன்னிப்புக் கேட்டு மனம் திரும்புவோம்.

Scripture Meditation – No. 1,553
AATHAVAN 💚 May 08, 2025. 💚 Thursday

"And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee." (Acts 24:25, KJV)

Many people do not like to confront the truth directly. Governor Felix was one such person. When Paul spoke to him about righteousness, temperance, and the judgment to come, the Scripture says that Felix trembled. What was the reason for his fear? It suggests that he lacked the qualities of righteousness and temperance.

In general, people do not like their faults, shortcomings, or sins to be pointed out—especially those in authority, who cannot tolerate correction from others. However, those who accept such correction have a path to transform their lives. Paul's words, though he was a prisoner under investigation, pierced Felix's heart and caused him to fear—but still, he did not repent.

The apostle Paul was falsely accused by the Jews and held as a prisoner in Rome for investigation. During this time, Felix the governor questioned him. Paul's responses were not mere legal defences; they were filled with gospel truth. Today’s verse clearly states that Felix trembled when he heard Paul's words.

Some Christian ministers dislike ‘AATHAVAN’ Scripture meditations. Some even offer unwarranted criticism. But one thing I’ve observed is that those who often criticize these meditations usually lack a good testimony in their personal lives. Some live with another woman after abandoning their wife, some are entangled in financial fraud cases and are constantly running between the courts and their homes, and some deceive people by claiming to sell real estate and vanish after collecting money without delivering any property. These are the ones who criticize.

People engaged in such sinful behaviours naturally feel disturbed when they hear certain Scripture verses. They would happily applaud only if blessings were preached all the time. Likewise, Paul’s words troubled Governor Felix. That’s why he said, “Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.”

Dear beloved, God desires that everyone should repent. That’s why He patiently reveals Himself to people in various ways. If, like Felix, we push these divine opportunities away by saying, “We can talk later when I have time,” we will miss the experience of salvation.
"(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)" (2 Corinthians 6:2, KJV)

If certain Bible verses make us feel irritated, angry, or fearful, it means there is something wrong in us. Instead of being angry at the verse or the person delivering it, let us examine ourselves, seek God's forgiveness, and turn our hearts toward Him.

🍒Meditation verse - சங்கீதம் 103: 17 / Psalm 103:17

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,552

'ஆதவன்' 💚மே 07, 2025. 💚புதன்கிழமை

"கர்த்தருடைய கிருபையோ அவருக்குப் பயந்தவர்கள்மேலும், அவருடைய நீதி அவர்கள் பிள்ளைகளுடைய பிள்ளைகள்மேலும் அநாதியாய் என்றென்றைக்கும் உள்ளது." ( சங்கீதம் 103: 17)

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் தேவனது கிருபையையும் நீதியையும் நாம் நமது வாழ்வில் பெற்று வாழ்வது நமக்கு மிகப்பெரிய ஆசீர்வாதமாக இருக்கும் என்றும், அது நமது மேல் மட்டுமல்ல, நமது பிள்ளைகளின் மேலும் பிள்ளைகளின் பிள்ளைகளின்மேலும் என்றென்றைக்கும் இருக்கும் என்றும்  கூறுகின்றது. 

மேலும், தேவனுடைய இந்தக் கிருபையினை நாம் பெறவேண்டுமானால் நாம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படும் பயத்துடன் வாழவேண்டும் என்று இந்தத்  தியான வசனம் எடுத்துக் கூறுகின்றது. கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படும் பயம் என்பது அவரைக்கண்டு அஞ்சி ஓடுவதையல்ல மாறாக அவர் வெறுக்கும் தீய செயல்களைச் செய்யாமல் நம்மை நாம் காத்துக்கொள்வதைக் குறிக்கின்றது. "தீமையை வெறுப்பதே கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படும் பயம்; பெருமையையும், அகந்தையையும், தீய வழியையும், புரட்டுவாயையும் நான் வெறுக்கிறேன்.' ( நீதிமொழிகள் 8: 13) என்று நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

தீமையான காரியங்களை வெறுக்கவேண்டும் என்று கூறுவதோடு,  தொடர்ந்து, பெருமை, அகந்தை, தீய வழி, புரட்டுவாய் இவைகளை நம்மைவிட்டு அகற்றவேண்டும் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆனால் இன்று நம்மில் பலரும் குடி, ஏமாற்று, திருட்டு, கொலை போன்ற காரியங்கள் மட்டுமே தீய வழிகள் என்று எண்ணிக்கொண்டு அவற்றைச் செய்யாததால் நம்மைப் பாவமற்றவர்கள் என்றும் எண்ணிக்கொண்டு வாழ்கின்றோம்.  

பழைய ஏற்பட்டு முறைமையின்படி, மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கு "ஆகையால், உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய வழிகளில் நடந்து, அவருக்குப் பயப்படும்படிக்கு, அவருடைய கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளக்கடவாய்." ( உபாகமம் 8: 6) என்று அறிவுறுத்தினார். அதாவது, அவருக்குப் பயந்து அவரது கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ள வேண்டும் எனும் பொருளில் அவர் கூறுகின்றார்.   

ஆனால் இன்று புதிய ஏற்பாட்டின்படி தேவனது கட்டளைகளுக்கு பயந்து கீழ்ப்படியாமல் நாம் அவர்மேலுள்ள அன்பினால் அவரது கற்பனைகளுக்குக் கீழ்படியவேண்டும் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஒரு கணவன் மனைவி சொல்வதைக் கேட்கின்றான் என்றால் அவளுக்குப் பயந்து அல்ல; மாறாக, அவளிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்வதால் தான். ஆம், அதுபோல "நாம் தேவனுடைய கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்வதே அவரிடத்தில் அன்புகூருவதாம்; அவருடைய கற்பனைகள் பாரமானவைகளுமல்ல." (1 யோவான்  5 : 3) என்கின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான யோவான். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் அவரிடம் அன்புகூர்வதால் அவருக்கு எதிராக பாவம் செய்துவிடக்கூடாது எனும் பயம் மட்டுமே நம்மிடம் இருக்க வேண்டும்.  இப்படி நாம்  வாழும்போது கர்த்தருடைய கிருபை  நம்மேலும், அவருடைய நீதி நமது  பிள்ளைகளுடைய பிள்ளைகள்மேலும் நிரந்தரமாக இருக்கும். சுருங்கக் கூறுவதானால் நாம் பழைய ஏற்பாட்டு மக்களைப்போல பயந்தவர்களாக அல்ல; மாறாக, தேவனிடம் அன்புடன் அவரது கற்பனைகளுக்குக் கீழ்படியவேண்டும்.  

"அன்பிலே பயமில்லை; பூரண அன்பு பயத்தைப் புறம்பே தள்ளும்; பயமானது வேதனையுள்ளது, பயப்படுகிறவன் அன்பில் பூரணப்பட்டவன் அல்ல." (1 யோவான்  4 : 18) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. எனவே புதிய ஏற்பாட்டு மக்களாகிய நாம் தேவன்மேல் அன்புகொண்டவர்களாக கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு  வாழ்வோம். அதுவே நமது சந்ததிகளுக்கு நாம் சேர்த்துவைக்கும் நிரந்தர ஆசீர்வாதமாக இருக்கும். இப்படி நாம் வாழும்போது, "கர்த்தருடைய கிருபையோ அவருக்குப் பயந்தவர்கள்மேலும், அவருடைய நீதி அவர்கள் பிள்ளைகளுடைய பிள்ளைகள்மேலும் அநாதியாய் என்றென்றைக்கும் உள்ளது." எனும் வசனம் நமது வாழ்வில் உறுதியாக நிறைவேறும்.

AATHAVAN 💚 May 07, 2025. 💚 Wednesday

“But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children.” — Psalm 103:17 (KJV)

Today’s meditation verse tells us that receiving God’s mercy and righteousness in our lives is a great blessing—not only for us, but also for our children and our children's children, extending forever.

Furthermore, this verse highlights that in order to receive such mercy, we must live with the fear of the Lord. The fear of the Lord doesn’t mean being afraid and running away from God. Instead, it means avoiding the evil things He hates and guarding ourselves from them. As it is written,

“The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.” — Proverbs 8:13 (KJV)

Not only must we hate evil, but we must also remove from our lives pride, arrogance, evil ways, and a deceitful mouth. However, today, many of us assume that only visible sins like drinking, cheating, stealing, or murder are evil. By avoiding only those, we consider ourselves sinless and live with a false sense of righteousness.

In the Old Testament, Moses instructed the Israelites saying,

“Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.” — Deuteronomy 8:6 (KJV) This shows that fearing God means keeping His commandments.

But in the New Testament, we are called not to obey God’s commandments out of fear, but out of love for Him. A husband listens to his wife not because he fears her, but because he loves her. Likewise, “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.” — 1 John 5:3 (KJV)

Yes, beloved, the only fear we should have is the fear of sinning against the One we love—God. When we live this way, the mercy of the Lord will be upon us, and His righteousness will continue upon our children’s children.

In short, we are not to be like the Old Testament people who obeyed out of fear, but rather, as New Testament believers, we must obey God's commandments out of love for Him.

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” — 1 John 4:18 (KJV)

Therefore, as people of the New Covenant, let us live by loving God and keeping His commandments. This will be a lasting blessing that we pass on to our future generations. When we live this way, the promise—

“But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children” —will surely be fulfilled in our lives.

🍒Meditation verse - யோவான் 15: 4 / John 15:4

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,551

'ஆதவன்' 💚மே 06, 2025. 💚செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை

"என்னில் நிலைத்திருங்கள், நானும் உங்களில் நிலைத்திருப்பேன்; கொடியானது திராட்சைச்செடியில் நிலைத்திராவிட்டால் அது தானாய்க் கனிகொடுக்கமாட்டாததுபோல, நீங்களும் என்னில் நிலைத்திராவிட்டால், கனிகொடுக்கமாட்டீர்கள்." ( யோவான் 15: 4)

ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் கிறிஸ்துவுடனான ஐக்கியத்தில் நாம் வளரவேண்டியது அவசியம். நமது பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்படுவது மட்டும் போதாது நாம் இறுதிவரை அவரோடு நிலைத்திருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இந்த ஐக்கியத்தைத் திராட்சைச் செடியுடன் இணைந்திருக்கும் கொடிக்கு ஒப்பிடுகின்றார். நிலத்திலிருந்து வேர்களினால் உறிஞ்சப்படும்  தாவரங்களுக்குத் தேவையான தண்ணீரும் சத்துக்களும் செடியின் தண்டுப்பகுதி வழியாகவே அதன் அனைத்துப் பகுதிகளுக்கும் செல்கின்றன. எனவே கொடிகள் தண்டுப்பகுதியுடன் இணைந்திருக்காவிட்டால் உலர்ந்துபோயிடும். இதுபோலவே, கிறிஸ்து எனும் தண்டுடன் நாம் இணைந்திருக்காவிட்டால் உலர்ந்துபோய்விடுவோம். 

மட்டுமல்ல, தாவரங்கள் கனிகொடுக்கவேண்டுமானால் நல்ல சத்துக்கள் தேவை. அந்தச் சத்துக்களும் தண்டுவழியாகவே அனைத்துப்பாகங்களுக்கும் செல்கின்றன. இன்று கிறிஸ்துவோடு எந்தத் தனிப்பட்டத் தொடர்பும் ஐக்கியமும் இல்லாத பலரும் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று பெயரளவில் கூறிக்கொள்கின்றனர். கிறிஸ்தவ  ஊழியர்களில் பலருக்கும்கூட இந்த தேவ ஐக்கியம் இல்லை. இதனால் இவர்கள் கனிகொடுக்கமுடியவில்லை. இவர்களது  சாட்சிக்கேடான வாழ்க்கை கிறிஸ்தவத்துக்கு அவப்பெயரைக் கொடுப்பதாகவும்  உள்ளது. 

நாம் சிறிதளவு கனிகொடுப்பவர்களாய் மட்டுமல்ல, அதிக கனி கொடுக்கின்றவர்களாய் மாறவேண்டுமென்று தேவன் விரும்புகின்றார். எனவே அவர் தன்னோடு ஐக்கியமுள்ளவர்களாய் வாழும் விசுவாசிகளுக்குத் துன்பங்களைக் கொடுக்கின்றார். ஏனெனில் அவர் அவர்களை மேலும் சுத்தம்பண்ண விரும்புவதால்தான். "என்னில் கனிகொடாதிருக்கிற கொடி எதுவோ அதை அவர் அறுத்துப்போடுகிறார்; கனிகொடுக்கிற கொடி எதுவோ, அது அதிக கனிகளைக் கொடுக்கும்படி, அதைச் சுத்தம்பண்ணுகிறார்." ( யோவான் 15: 2) என்றார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. 

கனிகொடுக்காமல் தோட்டத்தில் இடத்தை அடைத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும் மரங்களை வெட்டி அகற்றும் விவசாயிகள் தங்களது பழ மரங்கள் அதிகமான கனிகளைக் கொடுக்கவேண்டுமென்பதற்காக தேவையற்ற கிளைகளை கழித்தும்  போடுவார்கள். இதனை கவ்வாத்து (pruning) என்பார்கள். இப்படி மரங்களின் சில கிளைகளை வெட்டி அகற்றும்போது மரங்களுக்கு வலியுண்டாகவே செய்யும். ஆனால் அந்த வலி பிற்பாடு அதிகக் கனிகளை அவை கொடுப்பதற்கு உதவியாக இருக்கும்.  நமது தேவனும் கனிகொடுக்காதவர்களை அகற்றி கனிகொடுக்கும் விசுவாசிகளைச்   சிறு வலிகளைக்கொடுத்து சுத்தம்பண்ணுகின்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, கொடியானது திராட்சைச்செடியில் நிலைத்திருப்பதுபோல நாம் கிறிஸ்துவில் நிலைத்திருந்தால் மட்டுமே கனிகொடுக்க முடியும். மட்டுமல்ல, கனிகொடுக்கும் நாம் அதிகமான கனிகளையும் கொடுக்கவேண்டுமென்று தேவன் விரும்புகின்றார். எனவே, தேவனில் நிலைத்திருப்பது மட்டுமல்ல, அவர் கொடுக்கும் சிறுசிறு துன்பங்களையும் சகித்து நாம் வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். இத்தகையத் துன்பங்களைக் கண்டு நாம் கிறிஸ்துவைவிட்டு விலகிச் சென்றிடாமல் இருக்கவேண்டுமென்று அவர் விரும்புகின்றார்.   

எனவேதான் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் "நீங்கள் என்னில் நிலைத்திராவிட்டால், கனிகொடுக்கமாட்டீர்கள்" என்று தன்னில் நிலைத்திருக்குமாறு கிறிஸ்து நம்மை எச்சரித்து அறிவுறுத்துகின்றார்.  துன்பங்களைச் சகித்து, வழிகளைத் தாங்கி  அவரில் நிலைத்து வாழ்வோம். இதனையே அவர் நம்மிடம் எதிர்பார்க்கின்றார்.

AATHAVAN 💚 May 06, 2025 – Tuesday

“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.” (John 15:4, KJV) 

In our spiritual life, it is essential that we grow in union with Christ. It is not enough that our sins are forgiven; we must remain steadfast in Him until the end.

Our Lord Jesus Christ compares this union to a branch that is connected to the vine. Just as water and nutrients absorbed from the soil reach all parts of the plant through the stem, so also, if the branches are not connected to the stem, they will wither away. Likewise, if we are not connected to Christ—the true Vine—we too will wither spiritually.

Furthermore, in order for a plant to bear fruit, it needs proper nourishment. This nourishment is distributed to all parts of the plant through the stem. Today, many who claim to be Christians in name have no personal connection or union with Christ. Sadly, this is true even among some Christian ministers. As a result, they are unable to bear fruit. Their unfruitful and unworthy lives bring reproach to the name of Christ.

God desires not merely that we bear some fruit, but that we bear much fruit. Therefore, He allows suffering in the lives of believers who remain united with Him—because He wants to purge and purify them further.

“Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.” (John 15:2, KJV)

Just as farmers cut down trees that only occupy space without yielding fruit, they also prune their fruit trees by cutting off unnecessary branches to make them more fruitful. This process is called pruning. Though pruning causes pain to the tree, it eventually leads to greater fruitfulness. Similarly, God removes unfruitful people and allows minor afflictions to purify fruitful believers.

Yes, beloved, just as a branch must remain in the vine to bear fruit, we must remain in Christ to be fruitful. Not only that, God desires that we bear more fruit. Therefore, it is essential that we remain in Him and endure the small sufferings He allows in our lives. We must not let these sufferings cause us to depart from Christ. That is not His will.

Hence, in today’s meditation verse, Christ warns and instructs us saying,

“Ye cannot bear fruit, except ye abide in me.” (John 15:4, KJV)

Let us endure hardships, stay on the narrow path, and abide in Him. This is what He expects from us.

'ஆதவன்' 💚மே 05, 2025. 💚திங்கள்கிழமை

"நன்மையான எந்த ஈவும் பூரணமான எந்த வரமும் பரத்திலிருந்துண்டாகி, சோதிகளின் பிதாவினிடத்திலிருந்து இறங்கிவருகிறது; அவரிடத்தில் யாதொரு மாறுதலும் யாதொரு வேற்றுமையின் நிழலுமில்லை." ( யாக்கோபு 1: 17)

இந்த உலகத்தில் அரசாங்கங்கள் மக்கள் நல்வாழ்வுக்காக பல்வேறு நலத்திட்டங்களை வகுத்துள்ளன. அவற்றை நாம் பெறவேண்டுமானால் முறையாக விண்ணப்பிக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். ஆனால் இந்த உலகில் நாம் முறைப்படி அனுபவிக்கவேண்டிய பல சலுகைகளை இந்த உலக அரசாங்கம் தரமுடியாதபடி பல்வேறு தடைகள், லஞ்சம் வாங்கும் அதிகாரிகள் உள்ளனர். ஆள்பார்த்து, கொடுக்கும் கையூட்டு மற்றும் பணத்தின் அடிப்படையில் இங்குச்  சலுகைகள் வழங்கப்படுவதை பல்வேறு சமயங்களில் பார்க்கின்றோம். 

ஆனால் நமது பரலோக அரசாங்கம் இந்த உலக அரசாங்கம் போன்றதல்ல. இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "என் ராஜ்யம் இவ்வுலகத்திற்குரியதல்ல, என் ராஜ்யம் இவ்வுலகத்திற்குரியதானால் நான் யூதரிடத்தில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்படாதபடிக்கு என் ஊழியக்காரர் போராடியிருப்பார்களே; இப்படியிருக்க என் ராஜ்யம் இவ்விடத்திற்குரியதல்ல என்றார்." ( யோவான் 18: 36) கூறியபடி அவரது பிள்ளைகளாகிய நமது ராஜ்யமும் இவ்வுலகுக்குரியவை அல்ல. 

எனவே, நமது விண்ணப்பங்கள் ஜெபத்தின்மூலம் பரலோக ராஜ்ஜியத்துக்குச் சமர்பிக்கப்படும்போது அங்கிருந்து நமக்குத் தகுந்த பலன் இறங்கி வருகின்றது. இந்த உலக அரசாங்கத்தைப்போல அங்கு கையூட்டுக் கொடுக்கவேண்டிய அவசியமோ கட்டாயமோ இல்லை. இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம், "அவரிடத்தில் யாதொரு மாறுதலும் யாதொரு வேற்றுமையின் நிழலுமில்லை." என்று கூறுகின்றது. அவர் ஆள் பார்த்து, மனிதர்களது முகத்தைப்பார்த்து, பணத்தைப்பார்த்து மக்களுக்கு உதவுபவர் அல்ல.  

இந்த உலகத்தில்கூட பல தனியார் நிறுவனங்கள் வேலைவாய்ப்புகளை  விண்ணப்பித்தவர்களின் திறமையின் அடிப்படையிலேயே வழங்குகின்றன. அங்கு பணத்தைக்கொடுத்தோ ஆள் பலத்தின் மூலமோ வேலைவாய்ப்பினைப் பெற முடியாது. காரணம், அவர்கள் தங்கள் நிறுவனத்தின் வளர்ச்சியை மட்டுமே பார்க்கின்றனர். 

"நன்மையான எந்த ஈவும் பூரணமான எந்த வரமும் பரத்திலிருந்துண்டாகி, சோதிகளின் பிதாவினிடத்திலிருந்து இறங்கிவருகிறது" என்று கூறியுள்ளபடி, அனைத்து நன்மையான காரியங்களும் அவரிடமிருந்தே நமக்குக் கிடைக்கின்றன. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, எனவே நாம் இந்த பரலோக அரசாங்கத்துக்கு உண்மையுள்ளவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

மேலும், இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நாம் பரலோக ராஜ்யத்தின் உதவியைப்பெற கெஞ்சி கேட்கவேண்டும் என்றுகூடச் சொல்லவில்லை. "நன்மையான எந்த ஈவும் பூரணமான எந்த வரமும் பரத்திலிருந்துண்டாகி, சோதிகளின் பிதாவினிடத்திலிருந்து இறங்கிவருகிறது" என்றுதான் கூறுகின்றது. அதாவது அது நீரோடையிலிருந்து வெள்ளம் இறங்கிப் பாய்வதுபோல பாய்ந்து வருகின்றது. தகுதியுள்ள அனைவரையும் அது நிரப்புகின்றது. நாம் அவருடைய ராஜ்ஜியத்தையும் நீதியையும் தேடுபவர்களாக இருந்தாலே போதும். 

 

"முதலாவது தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தையும் அவருடைய நீதியையும் தேடுங்கள், அப்பொழுது இவைகளெல்லாம் உங்களுக்குக்கூடக் கொடுக்கப்படும்." (மத்தேயு 6: 33) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் கூறவில்லையா?. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் உலகினில் நமது நாட்டுக்கு எத்தகைய உண்மையுள்ளவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டுமோ அதுபோல பரலோக ராஜ்யத்துக்கும் உண்மையுள்ளவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  அப்படி வாழும்போது பூரணமான வரம் ஜோதிகளின் பிதாவிடமிருந்து நம்மேல் இறங்கி வரும்.

AATHAVAN 💚 May 5, 2025. 💚 Monday

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” (James 1:17 – KJV)

In this world, governments have introduced various welfare schemes for the well-being of the people. To receive these benefits, we are usually required to apply through the proper channels. However, many times, the benefits we are entitled to are hindered by corruption, bribery, and bureaucratic obstacles. Often, these benefits are distributed based on favouritism, bribery, or political influence rather than fairness.

But the Kingdom of Heaven is not like the governments of this world. Jesus said,

“My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.” (John 18:36 – KJV)

According to this truth, our kingdom, as children of God, is not of this world either.

Therefore, when we submit our petitions through prayer to the Kingdom of Heaven, answers and blessings flow down to us from above. Unlike earthly systems, there is no need to offer bribes or gain favour through money or influence. As today’s meditation verse reminds us:

“...with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”
He does not show favouritisms, nor does He judge by outward appearance or financial status.

Even in this world, some private organizations offer employment solely based on merit and qualifications. In such places, one cannot obtain a job through money or influence, because their focus is solely on the growth and integrity of their institution.

As the verse says, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights...” —all good things come only from Him. Yes, beloved, it is essential that we live as faithful citizens of the Heavenly Kingdom.

Moreover, today's verse does not say we must beg for these blessings. It simply says that they come down from above. Just like a river that overflows and rushes forward, these blessings flow abundantly to all who are worthy. It is enough that we seek His kingdom and His righteousness.

Did not Jesus Christ say, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33)

Yes, beloved, just as we are called to be faithful citizens of our earthly nation, we are even more called to be faithful citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven. When we live this way, every perfect gift will come down upon us from the Father of lights.

🍒Meditation verse - ரோமர் 11: 29 / Romans 11:29

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,549

'ஆதவன்' 💚மே 04, 2025. 💚ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை

"தேவனுடைய கிருபை வரங்களும், அழைத்த அழைப்பும் மாறாதவைகளே." ( ரோமர் 11: 29)

மனிதர்கள் நாம் மாறக்கூடியவர்கள். ஒருமுறை எடுத்த முடிவை மாற்றுவோம், பேச்சை மாற்றுவோம், செயல்களை மாற்றுவோம். ஆனால் நமது தேவன் அப்படி மாற்றி மாற்றி செயல்படுபவரல்ல. நமக்கு ஒரு வாக்குறுதி அளித்திருப்பாரென்றால் அதனை அவர் நிச்சயமாக நிறைவேற்றுவார். எனவே நாம் தேவன்மேல் விசுவாசம்கொண்டு அவருக்கு உண்மையுள்ளவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

அதுபோல சிலருக்குத் தேவன்  பல்வேறு வரங்களை அளித்திருப்பார். மனிதர்கள் நாம் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்பில்லாத வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்தாலும் ஒருமுறை அவர் அளித்த தேவவரத்தை திரும்ப எடுத்துக்கொள்ள மாட்டார். இதனாலேயே பல ஊழியர்கள் கனியற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்தாலும் அவர்களால் ஜெபித்து மற்றவர்களது நோய்களைக் குணமாக்க முடிகின்றது; பல வல்ல செயல்களைச்  செய்ய முடிகின்றது. ஏனெனில், தேவன் அவர்களை நாடிவரும் மக்கள் மேலும் கிருபையுள்ளவராக இருக்கின்றார் என்பதால்தான். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே,  "நாம் உண்மையில்லாதவர்களாயிருந்தாலும், அவர் உண்மையுள்ளவராயிருக்கிறார்; அவர் தம்மைத்தாம் மறுதலிக்கமாட்டார்." (2 தீமோத்தேயு 2: 13) இதற்கு ஒரு உதாரணம் கூறலாம். நாம் நமது நண்பர்களுக்கு, தோழிகளுக்குப் பிறந்தநாள், அல்லது திருமணநாள் போன்ற சில சந்தர்ப்பங்களில் பல பரிசுகளைக் கொடுப்போம். புடவைகள், கைக்கடிகாரங்கள், ஏன் சில வேளைகளில் விலை உயர்ந்த அலைபேசிகள் போன்றவற்றைக்கூட பரிசாக அளிப்போம். 

ஆனால் ஏதோ காரணங்களால் பிற்பாடு அவர்களோடு நமக்கு மனத்தாங்கல் ஏற்பட்டு, பேச்சுவார்த்தை இல்லாமல் போயிட்டது என வைத்துக்கொள்வோம், அப்போது நம்மில் யாரும் அவர்களிடம் சென்று, "நீதான் என்னோடு பேச, மாட்டாயே, நான் முன்பு உனக்குப் பரிசளித்த புடவையை எனக்குத் திருப்பிதா" என்று  கேட்கமாட்டோம். மனிதர்களாகிய நாமே இப்படிக் கொடுத்ததைத் திருப்பிக் கேட்பதை கேவலமான செயலாக எண்ணும்போது தேவன் இத்தகைய செயலை எப்படிச்  செய்வார்?

இதுபோலவே தேவனது ஊழிய அழைப்பும். தனது ஊழியத்துக்காக அவர் ஒருவரை அழைப்பது தேவனது முன்குறித்தத் திட்டமாகும். அந்த ஊழிய அழைப்பை அவர் மாற்றுவதில்லை. இதனால்தான் நாம் உலகினில் தகுதியற்ற ஊழியர்களை பலவேளைகளில் பார்க்கமுடிகின்றது. ஆனால் அப்படி அழைக்கப்படும் ஊழியன் தேவனுக்கேற்ற உண்மையுள்ளவனாக  தேவனது அழைப்பை  மதித்து நடக்கவில்லையானால் தேவன் அவனைத் தண்டிப்பார்.  

இதனையே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "தன் எஜமானுடைய சித்தத்தை அறிந்தும் ஆயத்தமாயிராமலும் அவனுடைய சித்தத்தின்படி செய்யாமலும் இருந்த ஊழியக்காரன் அநேக அடிகள் அடிக்கப்படுவான்." ( லுூக்கா 12: 47) என்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவனுடைய கிருபை வரங்களும், அழைத்த அழைப்பும் மாறாதவையாக இருப்பதால் நாம் தேவனுக்கேற்ற உண்மையுள்ளவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். அவர் நமக்குக் கொடுத்த வாக்குறுதிகளில் மாறமாட்டார். 

அதுபோல, நம்மிடம் தேவ வரங்கள் செயல்படுவதால் நாம் உண்மையுள்ளவர்கள், தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமானவர்கள் என்று பொருளல்ல. நம்மை நாமே சீர்தூக்கிப் பார்த்துத் திருத்திக்கொள்வது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது. இல்லையானால் எஜமானுடைய சித்தத்தை அறிந்தும் ஆயத்தமாயிராமலும் அவனுடைய சித்தத்தின்படி செய்யாமலும் இருந்த ஊழியக்காரன் அநேக அடிகள் அடிக்கப்படுவான் எனும் வசனத்தின்படி நாம் அடிக்கப்படுவோம்.

“For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” — Romans 11:29 (KJV)

Human beings are changeable by nature. We change our decisions, our words, and our actions. But our God does not change in this manner. If He has given us a promise, He will surely fulfil it. Therefore, it is essential that we live faithfully, placing our trust in Him.

Similarly, God grants various gifts to some individuals. Even if we, as humans, live lives that are not pleasing to God, He does not take back the divine gifts He once gave. That is why some ministers, despite living unfruitful lives, are still able to pray and heal others or perform mighty works. This is because God continues to be gracious for the sake of those who seek Him through them.

Yes, beloved, “If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.”
— 2 Timothy 2:13 (KJV)

Here’s a simple example. We often give gifts to our friends or companions during special occasions like birthdays or weddings—sarees, watches, and sometimes even expensive mobile phones.

Now imagine that due to some reason, we fall out with those friends and stop speaking with them. Even then, none of us would go back and demand, “Since you no longer speak to me, give back the gift I gave you.” We, as humans, would consider such a demand disgraceful. If that is how we think, would God act in such a manner?

Likewise, the calling of God in ministry is part of His divine plan. He does not revoke that calling. This is why we may sometimes see unworthy ministers in the world. But if someone who is called does not walk faithfully or honour the calling, God will surely punish them.

As Jesus Christ Himself said: “And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.” — Luke 12:47 (KJV)

Yes, dear ones, since the gifts and the calling of God are without repentance, it is crucial that we live faithfully, pleasing to God. He does not go back on the promises He has given us.

Similarly, just because the spiritual gifts operate through us, it does not automatically mean we are faithful or pleasing in God's sight. We must examine and correct ourselves. If we fail to do so, according to the verse: “That servant… shall be beaten with many stripes,” we too will be punished.

'ஆதவன்' 💚மே 03, 2025. 💚சனிக்கிழமை

"நாம் தேவனுக்குச் சத்துருக்களாயிருக்கையில், அவருடைய குமாரனின் மரணத்தினாலே அவருடனே ஒப்புரவாக்கப்பட்டோமானால், ஒப்புரவாக்கப்பட்டபின் நாம் அவருடைய ஜீவனாலே இரட்சிக்கப்படுவது அதிக நிச்சயமாமே." ( ரோமர் 5: 10)

இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவிடம் நமது பாவங்களை அறிக்கையிட்டு அவரது இரத்தத்தால் நமது பாவங்கள் கழுவப்படும் அனுபவம்  வேறு, இரட்சிப்பு அனுபவம் வேறு.  கிறிஸ்தவர்களில் பலரும்கூட முதலில் அவர்கள் பெறும் பாவ மன்னிப்பு அனுபவத்தையே நினைவில் கொண்டு, "நான் இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டேன்" என்று கூறிக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றார்கள். ஆனால் இன்றைய தியான வசனம் தெளிவாகக் கூறுகின்றது, "அவருடனே ஒப்புரவாக்கப்பட்டோமானால், ஒப்புரவாக்கப்பட்டபின் நாம் அவருடைய ஜீவனாலே இரட்சிக்கப்படுவது அதிக நிச்சயமாமே." என்று. 

அதாவது நாம் செய்த பாவங்கள் கழுவப்படுவதுதான் ஒப்புரவாதல். இப்படி நாம் அவரோடு ஒப்புரவாக்கப்பட்டோமானால் நாம் அவருடைய ஜீவனாலே இரட்சிக்கப்படுவது அதிக நிச்சயம்.  இதிலிருந்து நாம் அறிவது, இரட்சிப்பு என்பது பாவத்திலிருந்து முழு விடுதலை பெறுவது என்பதுதான். அதாவது, நமது வாழ்வின் இறுதிவரை பாவத்துக்கு அடிமையாகாமல் இருப்பது. "பாவஞ்செய்கிறவன் எவனும் பாவத்துக்கு அடிமையாயிருக்கிறான் என்று மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்." ( யோவான் 8: 34) என்றார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. இந்தப் பாவ அடிமைத்தனத்திலிருந்து முழு விடுதலை பெறுவதே இரட்சிப்பு.

இது ஒருநாளில் நடைபெறும் காரியமல்ல, பாவ மன்னிப்பு அனுபவம் பெற்றபின்னர் நாம் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் தொடர்ந்து பாவத்துக்கு எதிராகப் போராடி வெற்றிபெறவேண்டும். எனவேதான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் கூறினார், "முடிவுபரியந்தம் நிலைநிற்பவனே இரட்சிக்கப்படுவான்." ( மத்தேயு 24: 13) என்று. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்படுவது மட்டும் போதாது, நாம் அவற்றிலிருந்து முழு விடுத்தலை அடைந்து வாழ்வின் இறுதிவரை அதில் நிலைநிற்க வேண்டும். 

ஒரு தகப்பன் தனது மகன் கேவலமான நண்பர்களுடன் சேர்ந்து சுற்றுவதை பலமுறைக் கண்டித்து வந்தார். ஆனாலும் அந்த மகன்  தனது துன்மார்க்க நண்பர்களை விடவில்லை. ஒருமுறை இரவு குடித்துவிட்டுச் சாலையில் நண்பர்களோடு சுற்றி அட்டகாசம் செய்தபோது  காவல் துறையினரால் கைது செய்யப்பட்டான்.  காவல்துறையிலிருந்து அவனது வீட்டிற்குத் தொலைபேசியில் தகவல் தெரிவித்தனர். அவனது தகப்பன் காவல் நிலையத்துக்குச் சென்றபோது அவரது மகனை அங்கு சட்டையைக் கழற்றி உட்காரவைத்திருந்தனர். 

தகப்பனைக் கண்டவுடன் மகன்,  "அப்பா, நீங்கள் பலமுறை எச்சரித்தும் நான் கேட்கவில்லை, என்னை மன்னித்துவிடுங்கள்" என்றான் அழுகையுடன். தகப்பன் அவனை நோக்கி, "பரவாயில்லை, மகனே, உன்னை நான் மன்னித்துவிட்டேன்" என்கின்றான். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இதுதான் பாவ மன்னிப்பு. ஆனால் இதனைத் தொடர்ந்து, அந்தத் தகப்பன் காவல் ஆய்வாளரிடம் பேசி மகனை அங்கிருந்து மீட்டு வீட்டிற்குக் கூட்டிச்சென்றார். இது இரட்சிப்பு. ஆம், நமது பாவங்களை கிறிஸ்து மன்னித்தால் மட்டும்போதாது, நாம் பாவத்தின் பிடியிலிருந்து விடுபடவேண்டும்; தொடர்ந்து அதுபோல பாவத்தில் விழாமல் நமது வாழ்வின் இறுதிவரை வாழவேண்டும்.  இதுவே பூரண இரட்சிப்பு. 

கிறிஸ்து நமக்குள் உருவாகி இருந்தால் மட்டுமே நமது உடலானது பாவத்திலிருந்து முழு விடுதலை பெறும். இதனையே, "மேலும் கிறிஸ்து உங்களிலிருந்தால் சரீரமானது பாவத்தினிமித்தம் மரித்ததாயும், ஆவியானது நீதியினிமித்தம் ஜீவனுள்ளதாயும் இருக்கும்.' ( ரோமர் 8: 10) என்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல். 

கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவால்  மட்டுமே நமது பாவங்களை மன்னிக்கவும் பாவத்திலிருந்து விடுதலை அளிக்கவும் முடியும். எனவேதான் அவர், "ஆகையால் குமாரன் உங்களை விடுதலையாக்கினால் மெய்யாகவே விடுதலையாவீர்கள்." ( யோவான் 8: 36) என்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, "அவருடைய குமாரனாகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தம் சகல பாவங்களையும் நீக்கி, நம்மைச் சுத்திகரிக்கும்." (1 யோவான்  1 : 7) என்று கூறியுள்ளபடி அவரது இரத்தத்தால் கழுவப்படும்படி முதலில் நமது பாவங்களை அவரிடம் அறிக்கைபண்ணுவோம். அப்போது பாவ மன்னிப்பைப் பெறுவோம். தொடர்ந்து அவரோடு ஐக்கியமுள்ளவர்களாக வாழ்வோம்.  அப்போது அவர் நமக்குப் பாவங்களை மேற்கொள்ளும் பலத்தைத் தந்து நாம் பாவங்களிலிருந்து முழு விடுதலை பெற உதவி செய்வார். அப்போது நாம் இரட்சிக்கப்படுவோம்.

“For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” (Romans 5:10 – KJV)

There is a distinction between confessing our sins to Jesus Christ and experiencing cleansing through His blood, and the experience of salvation itself. Many believers often recall the moment of receiving forgiveness for their sins and say, “I am saved.” However, today’s meditation verse clearly states: “...being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”

That means reconciliation refers to the cleansing of our committed sins. If we have been reconciled to Him, then being saved by His life is even more certain. From this, we understand that salvation is the complete deliverance from sin. That is, we must live without being enslaved to sin until the end of our lives.

Jesus Christ said: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.” (John 8:34 – KJV)

True salvation is being fully delivered from the bondage of sin.

This is not something that happens in a single day. After receiving the experience of forgiveness, we must continue to fight against sin and overcome it in our spiritual lives. That is why Jesus Christ said:

“But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” (Matthew 24:13 – KJV)

Dearly beloved, it is not enough that our sins are forgiven—we must also be completely set free from them and continue in that freedom until the end of our lives.

Consider this: A father had repeatedly warned his son not to associate with bad friends. Despite the warnings, the son continued with his unrighteous friends. One night, while drunk and misbehaving with his friends on the street, he was arrested by the police. The police called his home and informed the family. When the father reached the station, he saw his son sitting there without his shirt, ashamed.

Seeing his father, the son cried out, “Father, you warned me many times, but I didn’t listen. Please forgive me!” The father responded, “It’s alright, my son. I forgive you.” This is forgiveness.

But then the father spoke with the officer, paid the necessary bail, and brought his son back home. This is salvation.

Yes, dearly beloved, it is not enough for Christ to forgive our sins—we must also be delivered from the power of sin. We must live in such a way that we do not fall back into sin. This is complete salvation.

Only if Christ is formed in us can our body experience full deliverance from sin. As Apostle Paul said: “And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.” (Romans 8:10 – KJV)

Only Jesus Christ the Lord has the power both to forgive our sins and to deliver us from them. That’s why He said: “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” (John 8:36 – KJV)

Yes, beloved, as it is written: “And the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” (1 John 1:7 – KJV)

Let us therefore first confess our sins to Him so that we may be cleansed by His blood and receive forgiveness. Then let us live in union with Him. As we do, He will grant us strength to overcome sin completely and help us attain full deliverance. Then, truly, we shall be saved.

🍒Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 1: 3 / Isaiah 1:3

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,547

'ஆதவன்' 💚மே 02, 2025. 💚வெள்ளிக்கிழமை

"மாடு தன் எஜமானையும், கழுதை தன் ஆண்டவனின் முன்னணையையும் அறியும்; இஸ்ரவேலோ அறிவில்லாமலும், என் ஜனம் உணர்வில்லாமலும் இருக்கிறது." ( ஏசாயா 1: 3)

ஆதிகாலமுதல் தேவன் தன்னை இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்குப் பல்வேறு வகைகளில் வெளிப்படுத்தினார். எத்தனையோ தீர்க்கத்தரசிகள், பரிசுத்தவான்கள் மூலம் தன்னைப்பற்றி அறிவித்து பல வல்ல செயல்களால் அவர்கள்  கூறியவற்றை உறுதிப்படுத்தியும்  வந்தார். மக்கள் தொடர்ந்து பாவம் செய்தபோது அவர்களுக்குத் தண்டனையாக அவர்களை பல்வேறு இராஜாக்களுக்கு அடிமைப்படுத்தினார். பின்னர் அந்த மக்கள் தங்கள் பாவங்களுக்கு மனம்வருந்தி மன்னிப்புக் கேட்டபோதெல்லாம் அவர்களை விடுவித்தார். 

ஆனாலும் தொடர்ந்து அவர்கள் தேவனை மறுதலித்துத் தங்கள் பொல்லாத வழிகளிலேயே நடந்தார்கள். இதனை ஏசாயா இன்றைய தியான வசனத்துக்கு அடுத்த வசனமாகக் கூறுகின்றார்,  "ஐயோ, பாவமுள்ள ஜாதியும், அக்கிரமத்தால் பாரஞ்சுமந்த ஜனமும், பொல்லாதவர்களின் சந்ததியும், கேடு உண்டாக்குகிற புத்திரருமாயிருக்கிறார்கள்; கர்த்தரை விட்டு, இஸ்ரவேலின் பரிசுத்தருக்குக் கோபமுண்டாக்கி, பின்வாங்கிப்போனார்கள்."( ஏசாயா 1: 4) என்று.

ஒரு மாடுகூடத் தன்னை வளர்க்கும் எஜமானன் என்ன விரும்புகின்றான் என்பதனை அறிந்திருக்கின்றது. அதுபோல கழுதை தனது எஜமானின் விருப்பத்தையும் தனக்காக எஜமான் ஏற்பாடு செய்துள்ள இடத்தையும் தனக்குமுன் தீவனத் தொட்டியில் வைக்கப்படும் உணவையும் அறிந்து குறிப்பிட்ட சமயத்தில் அங்குவந்து சேர்கின்றது.  ஆனால் இந்த மக்களுக்கு நான் எத்தனையோ நன்மைகளைச் செய்திருந்தும் இவர்கள் என்னை அறியாமல் இருக்கின்றார்களே என்று மனம் வருந்திக் கூறுகின்றார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். 

தேவனை அறிவது என்பது வெறுமனே ஆராதனை செய்வதல்ல, அவரோடு ஐக்கியத்தில் வாழ்வது; அதன்மூலம் அவரது சித்தத்தை அறிந்து நிறைவேற்றுவது. தனிப்பட்ட விதத்தில் நாம் அவரோடு ஒரு உறவில் வாழும்போதுதான் நாம் தேவனுக்கேற்ற செயல்களைச்  செய்து வாழமுடியும். தேவனை நாம் அறியவில்லையானால் வெறுமனே ஆலயங்களுக்கு வந்து கூடி கூப்பாடு போட்டுவிட்டுக் கலைந்துசெல்கின்றவர்களாகவே இருப்போம். அப்படி தேவனை அறியாமல் வாழ்வோமானால் கேடான சிந்தையும் செயலும் நம்மைவிட்டு மாறாது.

இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "தேவனை அறியும் அறிவைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டிருக்க அவர்களுக்கு மனதில்லாதிருந்தபடியால், தகாதவைகளைச் செய்யும்படி, தேவன் அவர்களைக் கேடான சிந்தைக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்." ( ரோமர் 1: 28) என்று கூறுகின்றார். தொடர்ந்து கேடான சிந்தை நம்மை எத்தகைய பாவ வாழ்க்கைக்குள் கொண்டுசெல்லும் என்பதனையும் பட்டியலிட்டுக் கூறுகின்றார்.

ஐந்தறிவுள்ள மாடும், கழுதையும் தங்களது எஜமானனையும் அவனது சித்தத்தையும் அறிந்து செயல்படும்போது ஆறறிவுள்ள மனிதர்களாகிய நாம் தேவ சித்தத்தை அறிந்து அவருக்கேற்ற வாழ்வு வாழவேண்டாமா? 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே,  "இஸ்ரவேலோ அறிவில்லாமலும், என் ஜனம் உணர்வில்லாமலும் இருக்கிறது." என்று மனம் வருந்திக் கூறும் தேவனது வார்த்தைகளை மனதில் கொள்ளுவோம். அறிவில்லாமலும் உணர்வில்லாமலும் வாழாமல் நம்மை அவருக்கு முற்றிலும் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம். அவரது பரிசுத்த இரத்தம் நம்மைக் கழுவித் தூய்மைப்படுத்திட   பாவங்களை அவரிடம் அறிக்கையிடுவோம். பாவங்கள் கழுவப்படும்போது மட்டுமே  அவரோடு நமக்கு ஐக்கியம் உருவாகும். அப்போதுதான் நாம் அவரது சித்தம் செய்பவர்களாக இந்த உலகினில் வாழமுடியும். ஆம், "ஆண்டவரே நான் மாடோ கழுதையோ அல்ல, உமது பிள்ளை" என்று அவரிடம் உறுதியுடன் கூறுவோம்.

Scripture Meditation – No. 1,547

‘AATHAVAN’ 💚 May 02, 2025 – Friday

“The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.” — Isaiah 1:3 (KJV)

From ancient times, God revealed Himself to the people of Israel in various ways. Through many prophets and saints, He made Himself known and confirmed their words by mighty deeds. When the people continued in sin, He chastened them by allowing them to be subjected to various kings. Yet, whenever they repented and sought forgiveness, He delivered them.

However, they persistently rejected God and continued in their evil ways. The prophet Isaiah follows today’s meditation verse with a powerful rebuke:

“Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.” — Isaiah 1:4 (KJV)

Even an ox knows the will of its master. Likewise, a donkey recognizes its master's intentions and understands where its food is placed; it comes at the appointed time to eat. But God laments that despite all the good He has done for His people; they still do not know Him.

To know God is not merely to offer worship, but to live in union with Him—knowing and fulfilling His will. Only when we walk in a personal relationship with Him can we live lives that are pleasing to God. If we do not know Him, we will be like those who simply attend church, shout praises, and disperse without transformation. A life lived without truly knowing God will never be free from corrupt thoughts and deeds.

The apostle Paul affirms this: “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.” — Romans 1:28 (KJV)

He then lists the various sins to which such a corrupt mind leads.

If animals with only five senses can understand their master's will, how much more should we—who are created with intelligence and reasoning—strive to know God’s will and live accordingly?

Yes, beloved, let us take to heart the Lord’s sorrowful words: “Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.” Let us not live without knowledge or understanding. Let us surrender ourselves entirely to Him. Let us confess our sins so that His precious blood may cleanse and sanctify us. Only when our sins are washed away can we have fellowship with Him—and only then can we do His will on this earth.

Let us boldly say to Him: "Lord, I am neither an ox nor an ass—I am Your child."
