'ஆதவன்' 💚பிப்ருவரி 08, 2025. 💚சனிக்கிழமை

"இதோ, இருள் பூமியையும், காரிருள் ஜனங்களையும் மூடும்; ஆனாலும் உன்மேல் கர்த்தர் உதிப்பார்; அவருடைய மகிமை உன்மேல் காணப்படும்." ( ஏசாயா 60:2)

இந்த உலகத்தில் நாம் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடைய வாழ்வு வாழ்வோமானால் இக்கட்டுக்காலங்களில் நிச்சயமாக அவர் நமக்கு உதவிசெய்திடுவார். இந்த மொத்த உலகமும் இருளான நிலைக்குச் சென்றாலும் தேவபிள்ளைகளுக்கு மகிமையான ஒளியான வாழ்க்கை உண்டு. அதனையே, "இதோ, இருள் பூமியையும், காரிருள் ஜனங்களையும் மூடும்; ஆனாலும் உன்மேல் கர்த்தர் உதிப்பார்; அவருடைய மகிமை உன்மேல் காணப்படும்." என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது.

இந்த உலகத்தில் செழிப்புடன் வாழும் சிலரை நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய கண்களோடு பார்க்கும்போது அவர்களது ஏழ்மைநிலை நமக்கு விளங்கும். அதுபோல,  உலக வாழ்க்கையில் செழிப்பு இல்லாத வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வதுபோலத் தெரியும் ஆவிக்குரிய மக்கள் உண்மையில் செழிப்பானவர்களாக இருப்பதையும் நாம் உணர்ந்துகொள்ளலாம். இதனை நாம் குறிப்பாகத் துன்ப காலங்களில் அறிந்துகொள்ளலாம்.

எகித்திலிருந்து விடுதலையான இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை மோசே கானானை நோக்கி வழிநடத்தியபோது பார்வோனின் குதிரை வீரர்கள் அவர்களை அழிப்பதற்காகப் பின்தொடர்ந்து வந்தனர். இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் அற்பமானவர்களாக இருந்தனர். அவர்களுக்குப் போர்ப்  பயிற்சியோ போர்செய்ய ஆயுதங்களோ இல்லை. ஆனால் தேவன் அவர்களோடு இருந்தார். அப்போது தேவனுடைய தூதன்  அக்கினித்தூணாகவும் மேகத் தூணாகவும் இருந்து இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களைக் காவல்காத்தார்.  எகிப்தியர் இஸ்ரவேலரை நெருங்கியபோது கர்த்தருடைய தூதன் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்குப் பின்னாக வந்து நின்று அவர்களைக் காத்துக்கொண்டார்.

இருள் பூமியையும், காரிருள் ஜனங்களையும் மூடும்; ஆனாலும் உன்மேல் கர்த்தர் உதிப்பார் எனும் வார்த்தையின்படி, "அது எகிப்தியரின் சேனையும் இஸ்ரவேலரின் சேனையும் இராமுழுவதும் ஒன்றோடொன்று சேராதபடி அவைகள் நடுவில் வந்தது; எகிப்தியருக்கு அது மேகமும் அந்தகாரமுமாய் இருந்தது, இஸ்ரவேலருக்கோ அது இரவை வெளிச்சமாக்கிற்று." ( யாத்திராகமம் 14: 20) ஆம், எகிப்தியருக்கு இருளாக இருந்தபோது தேவனுடைய மக்கள் வெளிச்சத்தில் நடந்தனர். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவன் தனது பிள்ளைகளை எப்போதும் கைவிடுவதில்லை. காரிருள்போல வாழ்க்கைத் தெரிந்தாலும் இஸ்ரவேலரைக் காப்பாற்ற அக்கினித்தூணாக நின்று தேவனுடைய தூதன் காத்ததுபோல நம்மையும் காத்துக்கொள்வார். எனவே, தேவனுக்குமுன் உத்தமமாக நடக்கும்போது நாம் அச்சப்படாத தேவையில்லை. 

இதுபோல, ஈசாக்கை அற்பமாக எண்ணிய அபிமெலெக்கும் அவனோடிருந்தவர்களும் ஈசாக்கினிடம் வந்து, "நிச்சயமாய் கர்த்தர் உம்மோடேகூட இருக்கிறார் என்று கண்டோம்; ஆகையால் எங்களுக்கும் உமக்கும் ஒரு ஆணை ஏற்பாடு உண்டாகவேண்டும் என்று நாங்கள் நிர்ணயம் பண்ணினோம்." ( ஆதியாகமம் 26: 28) என்று  கூறுமளவுக்கு தேவன் தான் தெரிந்துகொண்ட ஈசாக்கை ஆசீர்வதித்தார். ஆம், உண்மையான உத்தமமான வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது நம்மோடு தேவன் இருப்பதை ஒருநாள் உலகம் கண்டுகொள்ளும்.

தேவனுக்கு உகந்த வாழ்க்கை வாழும்படி நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம். அப்போது, இருள் பூமியையும், காரிருள் ஜனங்களையும் மூடினாலும் நம்மேல் கர்த்தர் உதிப்பார்; அவருடைய மகிமை நம்மேல் காணப்படும்.

AATHAVAN 💚 February 08, 2025 - Saturday

"For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee." (Isaiah 60:2, KJV)

If we live a life pleasing to God in this world, He will surely help us in times of distress. Even if the entire world is engulfed in darkness, God's children will have a glorious and radiant life. This is exactly what today's meditation verse says:

"For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee." (Isaiah 60:2, KJV)

When we look at some prosperous people in this world through spiritual eyes, we can perceive their spiritual poverty. Similarly, those who seem to lack worldly wealth may actually be spiritually rich. This becomes especially evident during times of tribulation.

When Moses led the Israelites from Egypt toward Canaan, Pharaoh’s chariots pursued them to destroy them. The Israelites were weak; they had no military training or weapons to fight. But God was with them. At that moment, the angel of the Lord stood as a pillar of fire and a cloud to protect them. When the Egyptians drew near, the angel of God moved behind the Israelites and shielded them.

As the scripture says: "And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night." (Exodus 14:20, KJV)

Yes! While the Egyptians were in darkness, God's people walked in the light.

Dear beloved, God never forsakes His children. Even when life seems as dark as night, just as He stood as a pillar of fire to protect the Israelites, He will also guard us. Therefore, when we walk righteously before God, we need not fear.

Similarly, when Abimelech and his people, who once despised Isaac, came to him, they said: "We saw certainly that the LORD was with thee: and we said, Let there be now an oath betwixt us, even betwixt us and thee, and let us make a covenant with thee." (Genesis 26:28, KJV)

Yes, God blessed Isaac to such an extent that even the world recognized His presence with him. Likewise, when we live a truly righteous life, one day the world will see that God is with us.

Let us surrender ourselves to live a life that pleases God. Then, even if darkness covers the earth and thick darkness surrounds the people, the LORD will arise upon us, and His glory will be seen upon us!

Meditation Verse - ஆமோஸ் 5:14 / Amos 5:14

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,461

'ஆதவன்' பிப்ருவரி 07, 2025. 💚வெள்ளிக்கிழமை

"நீங்கள் பிழைக்கும்படிக்குத் தீமையை அல்ல, நன்மையைத் தேடுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் சொல்லுகிறபடியே சேனைகளின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களோடே இருப்பார்." (ஆமோஸ் 5:14)

இன்று பெரும்பாலான நற்செய்திக் கூட்டங்களில் ஆசீர்வாத உபதேசங்களே போதிக்கப்படுகின்றன. "ஆசீர்வாத உபவாசக்  கூட்டம்" என்று விளம்பரப்படுத்தி மக்களை வரவழைத்து,   தங்களது கூட்டங்களில் கலந்துகொள்ளும் எல்லோரும் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படுவதாக பல ஊழியர்களும் கூறிக்கொள்கின்றனர். ஆனால் இன்றைய தியான வசனம் இது தவறு என்பதை நமக்கு எடுத்துக் கூறுகின்றது.

ஊழியர்கள் நடத்தும் நற்செய்திக் கூட்டங்களில் கலந்து கொள்வதால் மட்டுமே நாம் தேவனிடமிருந்து நன்மைகளைப்  பெற்றுக்கொள்ளமுடியாது. உபவாசம் என உணவு உண்ணாமல் இருப்பதால் தேவன் நம்மை ஆசீர்வதிக்க முடியாது.  "ஆதவன்" வேதாகத் தியானத்தைப்போன்ற தியானப் பிரசங்கக் கட்டுரைகளை வாசிப்பதால் மட்டுமே ஒருவர் தேவனது ஆசீர்வாதத்தினைப் பெறமுடியாது. வேதாகமத்தை வாசிப்பதாலோ, தியான கூட்டங்களில் கலந்துகொள்வதாலோ ஒருவர் தேவ ஆசீர்வாத்தினைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளமுடியாது. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதன்படி  "நீங்கள் பிழைக்கும்படிக்குத் தீமையை அல்ல, நன்மையைத் தேடுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் சொல்லுகிறபடியே சேனைகளின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களோடே இருப்பார்." ஆலய வழிபாடுகளிலும் நற்செய்திக் கூட்டங்களிலும் கலந்துகொண்டு  தேவனை ஆராதித்துவிட்டு  தனிப்பட்ட முறையில் நம்மை மாற்றிக்கொள்ளாமல் தீமையான வழிகளிலேயே தொடர்ந்து நடப்போமானால் தேவன் நம்மோடு இருந்து செயல்பட முடியாது.  

அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுலும் இதனால்தான் நாம் வெற்று ஆராதனை செய்பவர்களாக அல்ல, புத்தியுள்ள ஆராதனை செய்பவர்களாக வாழவேண்டும் என்று நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றார். முதலில் நாம் நம்மைத் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்ற ஜீவபலியாக ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். "அப்படியிருக்க, சகோதரரே, நீங்கள் உங்கள் சரீரங்களைப் பரிசுத்தமும் தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமுமான ஜீவபலியாக ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கவேண்டுமென்று, தேவனுடைய இரக்கங்களை முன்னிட்டு உங்களை வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்; இதுவே நீங்கள் செய்யத்தக்க புத்தியுள்ளஆராதனை." ( ரோமர் 12: 1)

இப்படித் தங்கள் சரீரங்களைப் பரிசுத்தமும் தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமுமான ஜீவபலியாக ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து புத்தியுள்ள ஆராதனைச் செய்யாமல் இருந்துகொண்டும் ஒருவர் பல்வேறு பக்திக் செயல்பாடுகளில் ஈடுபடலாம்.  ஆலயங்களுக்குத் தவறாமல் செல்வதையும், ஜெபிப்பதையும், வேதம் வாசிப்பதையும் மேன்மையாகக் கருதிக்கொண்டு, இத்தகையச் செயல்களில் தாங்கள் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளதால் தேவன் தங்களோடு இருப்பதாக எண்ணிக்கொண்டு வாழ்வது தவறு. "நன்மையைத் தேடுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் சொல்லுகிறபடியே சேனைகளின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களோடே இருப்பார்." என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் வழியாக தேவன் நம்மோடு பேசுகின்றார். 

தேவன் நம்மோடு இருக்கவேண்டுமானால், நம்மை நாமே நிதானித்துப் பார்ப்போம். தேவனுக்குமுன் நமது வாழ்க்கை எப்படி இருக்கின்றது?  தனிப்பட்ட நமது செயல்பாடுகள் எத்தகையவை?  நமது தவறான செயல்பாடுகளை முதலில் திருத்த முயலுவோம். தவறுகளுக்குத் தேவனிடம் மனம் வருந்தி மன்னிப்பை வேண்டுவோம். அப்பொழுது நாம் எண்ணுகிறபடியும் சொல்லுகிறபடியும் சேனைகளின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நம்மோடு இருப்பார்.

"Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken." (Amos 5:14, KJV)

Today, in most gospel meetings, the focus is primarily on messages of blessing. Many ministries advertise "Blessing Fasting Prayers" and invite people to attend, claiming that everyone who participates will be blessed. However, today’s meditation verse reminds us that this approach is flawed.

We cannot receive God’s blessings simply by attending gospel meetings organized by ministers. Fasting, or abstaining from food, does not guarantee that God will bless us. Reading devotionals like “Aathavan” Scripture Meditations or attending prayer meetings alone cannot earn us God’s blessings. Neither can reading the Bible or participating in devotional gatherings secure God’s favour.

Yes, dear friends, as today’s meditation verse says, "Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken." If we attend church services and gospel meetings, worship God, but fail to transform our personal lives and continue walking in sinful ways, God cannot be with us or work through us.

This is why the Apostle Paul urges us not to be empty worshippers but to offer ourselves as living sacrifices, which is our reasonable service. First and foremost, we must surrender ourselves as holy and acceptable living sacrifices to God. "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." (Romans 12:1, KJV)

Without surrendering ourselves as holy and pleasing living sacrifices to God and engaging in reasonable worship, one may still participate in various religious activities. Regularly attending church, praying, and reading the Bible are commendable, but if we think that God is with us solely because of these actions, we are mistaken. Through today’s meditation verse, God speaks to us: "Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken."

For God to be with us, we must examine ourselves. How does our life stand before God? What are our personal actions like? Let us first strive to correct our wrongdoings. Let us repent of our sins and seek forgiveness from God. Then, as we think and speak, the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with us.

Meditation Verse - லுூக்கா 12: 49 / Luke 12:49

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,460

'ஆதவன்' 💚பிப்ருவரி 06, 2025. 💚வியாழக்கிழமை

"பூமியின்மேல் அக்கினியைப் போடவந்தேன், அது இப்பொழுதே பற்றி எரியவேண்டுமென்று விரும்புகிறேன்." ( லுூக்கா 12: 49)

பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரை வேதம் அக்கினி, அதாவது நெருப்புக்கு ஒப்பிடுகின்றது. அந்த நெருப்பினை கிறிஸ்தவர்களாகிய நாம் பெற்று உயிர்த்துடிப்புடன் ஆவியில் அனலாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். காரணம், ஆவியானவரின் வல்லமை நம்முள் அக்கினியாக இருந்து செயல்படும்போதுதான் நாம் உலகத்தின் பாவ அசுத்தங்களை உதறித்தள்ளி ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் முன்னேறமுடியும்.  

இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து "பூமியின்மேல் அக்கினியைப் போடவந்தேன், அது இப்பொழுதே பற்றி எரியவேண்டுமென்று விரும்புகிறேன்" என்று கூறுகின்றார். அவர் பூமியில் மனிதனாக வந்ததன் நோக்கமே நம்மைப் பாவங்களிலிருந்து மீட்டு இரட்சிக்கத்தான். எனவே, பாவத்தைச் சுட்டெரிக்கும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் எனும் அக்கினி உலகினில் பற்றியெரியவேண்டுமென்று அவர் விரும்புகின்றார். 

யோவான் ஸ்நானகன், "நான் ஜலத்தினால் உங்களுக்கு ஞானஸ்நானங் கொடுக்கிறேன், என்னிலும் வல்லவர் ஒருவர் வருகிறார், அவருடைய பாதரட்சைகளின் வாரை அவிழ்க்கிறதற்கும் நான் பாத்திரன் அல்ல, அவர் பரிசுத்த ஆவியினாலும் அக்கினியினாலும் உங்களுக்கு ஞானஸ்நானங்கொடுப்பார்." ( லுூக்கா 3: 16) என்று கூறினார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் அக்கினி அபிஷேகம் நம் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் மிகவும் அவசியம். அப்போதுதான் நாம் தேவனுக்கேற்ற வெற்றிகரமான வாழ்க்கை வாழ முடியும். 

இயேசு கிறிஸ்து மரித்து உயிர்த்து பரலோகம் சென்றபின்னர் இந்த அக்கினி ஆவியை முதன்முதல் தனது சீடர்களுக்கு அளித்தார். "அல்லாமலும் அக்கினிமயமான நாவுகள்போலப் பிரிந்திருக்கும் நாவுகள் அவர்களுக்குக் காணப்பட்டு, அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவர்மேலும் வந்து அமர்ந்தது. அவர்களெல்லாரும் பரிசுத்தஆவியினாலே நிரப்பப்பட்டு, ஆவியானவர் தங்களுக்குத் தந்தருளின வரத்தின்படியே வெவ்வேறு பாஷைகளிலே பேசத்தொடங்கினார்கள்." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 2: 3, 4) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம்.

கிறித்தவர்களில் பெரும்பாலானவர்களுக்கும் ஆவியானவரைபற்றிய புரிதலும் தெளிதலும் இல்லை.  ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் குளிரும் அனலுமின்றி வாழ்ந்துகொண்டிருக்கின்றார்கள். சாதாரண உலக மனிதர்களைப்போல வாழ்கின்றனர். "இப்படி நீ குளிருமின்றி அனலுமின்றி வெதுவெதுப்பாயிருக்கிறபடியினால் உன்னை என் வாயினின்று வாந்திபண்ணிப்போடுவேன்." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 3 : 16 ) என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். 

உலகினில் இந்தச் சத்திய ஆவியானவராகிய அக்கினியைப் போடவந்த கிறிஸ்துவையும் அவரது வார்த்தைகளையும் முழுவதுமாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாததால் பலரால் தங்கள் வாழ்க்கையில் ஆவியானவரைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியவில்லை. "உலகம் அந்தச் சத்திய ஆவியானவரைக் காணாமலும் அறியாமலும் இருக்கிறபடியால் அவரைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளமாட்டாது; அவர் உங்களுடனே வாசம்பண்ணி உங்களுக்குள்ளே இருப்பதால், நீங்கள் அவரை அறிவீர்கள்." ( யோவான் 14: 17) என்றார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. 

பல கிறிஸ்தவர்களுக்குப்  பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரைப் பற்றிய சரியான புரிதலில்லாததால் அது குறிப்பிட்ட கிறிஸ்தவ சபைப் பிரிவினருக்கு உரிய ஒரு போதனை என்று எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றார்கள். ஆவிக்குரிய ஆராதனை செய்பவர்களைச் சிலவேளைகளில், "அல்லேலூயா கூட்டத்தினர்" என்று கேலியும் செய்கின்றனர்.   

ஆனால் வேத சத்தியம் என்னவென்றால்,  நாம் கிறிஸ்துவை முழுமையாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போது ஆவியானவர் நமக்குள் வருகின்றார். அவரே நம்மை நடத்துகின்றார். இதனையே, "அவர் உங்களுடனே வாசம்பண்ணி உங்களுக்குள்ளே இருப்பதால், நீங்கள் அவரை அறிவீர்கள்." என்றார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. 

கிறிஸ்தவர்களாகிய நாம் ஒவ்வொருவரும் ஒரு நெருப்புப் பொறியாக இருக்கவேண்டுமென்று தேவன் விரும்புகின்றார். அந்த அக்கினியை அவர் கிறிஸ்து மூலம் பூமியில் போட்டுள்ளார். அது நம்மில் பற்றி எரியவேண்டும்; மட்டுமல்ல, அந்த நெருப்பு பரவி உலகினை நிரப்பவேண்டுமென்று அவர் விரும்புகின்றார்.    

கிறிஸ்துவின் இருதய ஆசையை நாம் நிறைவேற்றுபவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டுமென்றால் நம்மை  அக்கினியின் ஆவியானவர்  நிரப்பி அபிஷேகிக்கவேண்டும். அதற்காக தேவனிடம் காத்திருந்து ஜெபிப்போம்; என்னை நிரப்பும் இயேசு தெய்வமே என்று மன்றாடுவோம். ஆவியில் அனலுள்ளவர்களாக வாழ்வோம்.

"I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?" (Luke 12:49, KJV)

The Holy Spirit is compared to fire in the Scriptures. As Christians, it is essential for us to receive this fire and be alive, fervent, and ablaze in the Spirit. The reason is that only when the power of the Holy Spirit works within us as fire can we shake off the sins and impurities of the world and advance in our spiritual lives.

This is precisely what the Lord Jesus Christ speaks of in today’s meditation verse: "I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?" His very purpose in coming to earth as a man was to save and deliver us from our sins. Therefore, He desires that the fire of the Holy Spirit, which burns away sin, would ignite and spread across the world.

John the Baptist also spoke of this: "I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire." (Luke 3:16, KJV). Yes, dear ones, the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire is absolutely necessary for each of us. Only then can we live a victorious life pleasing to God.

Jesus Christ, after His death, resurrection, and ascension into heaven, first gave this fiery Spirit to His disciples. We read: - "And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." (Acts 2:3-4, KJV)

Many Christians lack understanding and clarity about the Holy Spirit. They live their spiritual lives neither cold nor hot, just like ordinary worldly people. "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth." (Revelation 3:16, KJV), says the Lord God.

Because many have not fully accepted Christ and His words, they have been unable to receive the Holy Spirit in their lives. "Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you and shall be in you." (John 14:17, KJV), said Jesus Christ.

Many Christians do not have a proper understanding of the Holy Spirit, thinking it is a teaching reserved only for certain denominations. At times, they even mock those who worship in the Spirit, calling them "Hallelujah groups."

But the truth of the Scripture is this: when we fully accept Christ, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within us. He leads us. As Jesus said, "Ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."

As Christians, God desires each of us to be a spark of fire. He has placed this fire on earth through Christ, and He wants it to ignite within us and spread to fill the world.

To fulfil the heart’s desire of Christ, we must be filled and anointed by the fire of the Holy Spirit. Let us wait upon God and pray, crying out, "Fill me, Lord Jesus!" Let us live as those ablaze in the Spirit.

Meditation Verse - ஏசாயா 40: 8 / Isaiah 40:8

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,459

'ஆதவன்' 💚பிப்ருவரி 05, 2025. 💚புதன்கிழமை

"புல் உலர்ந்து பூ உதிரும்; நமது தேவனுடைய வசனமோ என்றென்றைக்கும் நிற்கும்" ( ஏசாயா 40: 8)

இந்த முழு உலகத்தையும் படைத்து ஆளும் தேவன் எப்படி நேற்றும் இன்றும் என்றும் மாறாதவராக இருக்கின்றாரோ அதுபோலவே அவரது வாயிலிருந்து வெளிவரும் வார்த்தைகளும் என்றும் அழியாதவையாக இருக்கின்றன. அந்த அழியாத தேவ வார்த்தைகளினாலேயே இந்த அண்டசராசரங்கள் அனைத்தும் உருவாகின. நாமும் இந்த தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையினாலேயே இரட்சிப்பு அல்லது மறுபடியும் பிறக்கும் அனுபவத்தைப் பெறுகின்றோம். 

இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு, "அழிவுள்ள வித்தினாலே அல்ல, என்றென்றைக்கும் நிற்கிறதும் ஜீவனுள்ளதுமான தேவவசனமாகிய அழிவில்லாத வித்தினாலே மறுபடியும் ஜெநிப்பிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறீர்களே". (1 பேதுரு 1: 23) என்று கூறுகின்றார். தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைகள் நம்மை பாவத்திலிருந்து மீட்டு, விடுதலை அளித்து நாம் நித்திய ஜீவனை அடைந்துகொள்ள உதவுவனவாக உள்ளன. 

மட்டுமல்ல, தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைகளே அனைத்தையும் உருவாக்குகின்றன, காக்கின்றன, அழிக்கவும் செய்கின்றன. "இப்பொழுது இருக்கிற வானங்களும் பூமியும் அந்த வார்த்தைகளினாலேயே அக்கினிக்கு இரையாக வைக்கப்பட்டு, தேவபக்தியில்லாதவர்கள் நியாயந்தீர்க்கப்பட்டு அழிந்துபோகும் நாள்வரைக்கும் காக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது." (2 பேதுரு 3: 7) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தினைத் தொடர்ந்து எழுதும்போது அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு, "மாம்சமெல்லாம் புல்லைப்போலவும், மனுஷருடைய மகிமையெல்லாம் புல்லின் பூவைப்போலவுமிருக்கிறது; புல் உலர்ந்தது, அதின் பூவும் உதிர்ந்தது. கர்த்தருடைய வசனமோ என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருக்கும்; உங்களுக்குச் சுவிசேஷமாய் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிற வசனம் இதுவே."  (1 பேதுரு 1: 24, 25) என்று கூறுகின்றார். அதாவது, சுவிசேஷ அறிவிப்பு என்பது தேவனுடைய அழியாத வார்த்தைகளை எடுத்துரைப்பதுதான். 

தேவனுடைய அழிவில்லாத வார்த்தைகள் புல்லைப்போலவும் பூவைப்போலவும் அழிபவையல்ல. மாறாக, தேவன் என்ன செய்யத் திட்டமிட்டிருக்கின்றாரோ அவற்றை அவரது வார்த்தைகள் செய்து முடிக்காமல் அவரிடம் திரும்புவதில்லை. ( ஏசாயா 55: 10, 11) எனவே நாம் தேவனுடைய வார்தைகள்மேல் ஆர்வமுடையவர்களாகவும் அவற்றை இருதயத்தில் பதித்துக் காத்துக்கொள்பவர்களாகவும் வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

இந்தச் சத்தியத்தை பக்தனாகிய யோபு நன்கு உணர்ந்திருந்தார். எனவேதான் கூறுகின்றார், "அவர் உதடுகளின் கற்பனைகளை விட்டு நான் பின்வாங்குவதில்லை; அவருடைய வாயின் வார்த்தைகளை எனக்கு வேண்டிய ஆகாரத்தைப் பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாய்க் காத்துக்கொண்டேன்." (யோபு 23: 12) என்று. நாம் இன்று உணவுப்பொருட்கள் கெட்டுப்போகாமலிருக்க  குளிர்சாதன பெட்டிகளில் (Fridge) பாதுகாத்து வைப்பதுபோல யோபு தேவ வார்த்தைகளைத் தனது இருதயமாகிய பெட்டியில் வைத்துப் பாதுகாத்துவந்தார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, அப்படி அவர் தேவ வார்த்தைகளைக் காத்துக்கொண்டதால்தான்  துன்பங்களைச் சகிக்கும் ஆற்றலைப் பெற்றிருந்தார். நாமும் தேவ வார்த்தைகளை நம்முள் வைத்து பாதுகாப்போம். இக்கட்டுக்காலங்களில் அவையே நமக்கு கைகொடுக்கும் மருந்து.

Scripture Meditation - No. 1,459

AATHAVAN💚 February 05, 2025 💚 Wednesday

"The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." (Isaiah 40:8, KJV)

The God who created and governs this entire universe remains the same yesterday, today, and forever. Similarly, the words that proceed from His mouth are also eternal and imperishable. It is by these eternal words of God that all the heavens and the earth were formed. We, too, receive the experience of salvation or being born again through His Word.

The apostle Peter affirms this, saying, "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." (1 Peter 1:23, KJV) The words of God redeem us from sin, grant us freedom, and help us attain eternal life.

Not only that, but God’s words also create, sustain, and even destroy. As it is written, "But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men." (2 Peter 3:7, KJV)

Continuing with today’s meditation verse, the apostle Peter writes, "For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you." (1 Peter 1:24-25, KJV) This means that the proclamation of the gospel is the declaration of God’s imperishable words.

God’s imperishable words are not like grass or flowers that fade away. Instead, His words accomplish the purposes He has planned. As it is written, "For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." (Isaiah 55:10-11, KJV) Therefore, it is essential for us to be eager about God’s words and to treasure them in our hearts.

The righteous Job understood this truth well. That is why he said, "Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food." (Job 23:12, KJV) Just as we preserve food in refrigerators to prevent it from spoiling, Job stored God’s words in the "refrigerator" of his heart and guarded them carefully.

Yes, dear friends, because Job guarded God’s words in this way, he was able to endure great suffering. Let us also store God’s words in our hearts and protect them. In times of trouble, they will be the medicine that sustains us.

Meditation Verse - எரேமியா 31: 16 / Jeremiah 31:16

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,458

'ஆதவன்' பிப்ருவரி 04, 2025. 💚செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை

"நீ அழாதபடிக்கு உன் சத்தத்தை அடக்கி, நீ கண்ணீர்விடாதபடிக்கு உன் கண்களைக் காத்துக்கொள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; உன் கிரியைக்குப் பலனுண்டென்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்... " ( எரேமியா 31: 16)

இந்த உலகத்தின் துன்பங்கள் பாடுகள் சிலவேளைகளில் நம்மை அதிகமாகப் பாதித்துவிடுவதுண்டு. எத்தனை பெரிய மனிதனாக இருந்தாலும் சில இழப்புக்களை நம்மால் எதிர்கொள்ள முடிவதில்லை. துன்மார்க்க மனிதர்களுக்கு மட்டுமல்ல, நல்ல பல செயல்கள் செய்து தேவனுக்கேற்றபடி வாழ்ந்தாலும் இத்தகைய பாதிப்புகள் மனிதர்களுக்கு ஏற்படுவது இயற்கை. 

"எல்லாருக்கும் எல்லாம் ஒரேவிதமாய்ச் சம்பவிக்கும்; சன்மார்க்கனுக்கும் துன்மார்க்கனுக்கும், நற்குணமும் சுத்தமுமுள்ளவனுக்கும் சுத்தமில்லாதவனுக்கும், பலியிடுகிறவனுக்கும் பலியிடாதவனுக்கும், ஒரேவிதமாய்ச் சம்பவிக்கும்; நல்லவனுக்கு எப்படியோ பொல்லாதவனுக்கும் அப்படியே; ஆணையிடுகிறவனுக்கும் ஆணையிடப் பயப்படுகிறவனுக்கும் சமமாய்ச் சம்பவிக்கும்." ( பிரசங்கி 9: 2)

இப்படி எல்லோருக்கும் எல்லாம் ஒரேவிதமாக நடந்தாலும், கர்த்தர்மேல் விசுவாசம்கொண்டு, அவருக்கேற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வோமானால் இத்தகைய துன்பங்களில் நமக்கு அவர் ஆறுதலளிக்க வல்லவராய் இருக்கின்றார். எனவேதான் அவர் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் நம்மோடு பேசுகின்றார், "நீ அழாதபடிக்கு உன் சத்தத்தை அடக்கி, நீ கண்ணீர்விடாதபடிக்கு உன் கண்களைக் காத்துக்கொள்; உன் கிரியைக்குப் பலனுண்டு."

சில வேளைகளில் துன்பங்கள் நெருக்கும்போது பலரும் கூறும் வார்த்தைகள்:-  "நான் என்ன பொல்லாப்புச் செய்தேன்? எவ்வளவோ நல்ல காரியங்களைச்  செய்திருக்கிறேன். எனக்கு ஏன் வாழ்க்கையில் இப்படியெல்லாம் நடக்கின்றது?" ஆனால், தேவன் எதனையும் நோக்கமில்லாமல் செய்வதில்லை. தேவனுக்கேற்ற உண்மையுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வோமானால், ஒரு இழப்பு இன்னொரு மேலான நல்ல காரியத்தை நமது வாழ்வில் கொண்டுவரும்.

"ஏனென்றால், உங்கள் கிரியையையும், நீங்கள் பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்கு ஊழியஞ்செய்ததினாலும் செய்து வருகிறதினாலும் தமது நாமத்திற்காகக் காண்பித்த அன்புள்ள பிரயாசத்தையும் மறந்துவிடுகிறதற்கு தேவன் அநீதியுள்ளவரல்லவே." ( எபிரெயர் 6: 10) என்று வேத வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. மனிதர்களைப்போல அவர் எதனையும் மறந்துவிடுபவரல்ல. எனவே, துன்பங்களை நாம் சந்திக்கும்போது, தேவன் நமக்கு அதனை மேற்கொள்ள ஒரு வழியையும் ஆயத்தப்படுத்தி வைத்திருப்பார். கார்த்தரைவிட்டுப் பின்வாங்கிடாமல் அந்த விசுவாசத்தோடு காத்திருப்போம்.

ஏனெனில், "மனுஷருக்கு நேரிடுகிற சோதனையேயல்லாமல் வேறே சோதனை உங்களுக்கு நேரிடவில்லை. தேவன் உண்மையுள்ளவராயிருக்கிறார்; உங்கள் திராணிக்கு மேலாக நீங்கள் சோதிக்கப்படுகிறதற்கு அவர் இடங்கொடாமல், சோதனையைத் தாங்கத்தக்கதாக, சோதனையோடுகூட அதற்குத் தப்பிக்கொள்ளும்படியான போக்கையும் உண்டாக்குவார்." (1 கொரிந்தியர் 10: 13)

விசுவாசத்தைத் துவங்குகிறவரும் முடிகிறவருமான கர்த்தர் நாம் நமது விசுவாச வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொள்ள உதவுவாராக.!

"Thus saith the Lord; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the Lord..." (Jeremiah 31:16)

The troubles and sufferings of this world sometimes affect us deeply. No matter how great a person may be, certain losses are too painful to endure. These afflictions are not limited to the wicked; even those who do good and live according to God's will face trials.

"All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath." (Ecclesiastes 9:2)

Even though everything happens alike to all, if we put our trust in the Lord and live a life that pleases Him, He will be our comforter in such times of distress. That is why, in today's meditation verse, He speaks to us: "Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded."

During difficult times, many often ask: "What wrong have I done? I have done so many good deeds. Why is my life turning out this way?" But God never does anything without a purpose. If we live a truthful life that pleases Him, one loss will lead to a greater blessing in our lives.

"For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister." (Hebrews 6:10)

Unlike men, God does not forget. Therefore, when we face trials, He has already prepared a way for us to endure and overcome them. Let us not turn away from the Lord but remain steadfast in faith.

For, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." (1 Corinthians 10:13)

May the Lord, who is the author and finisher of our faith, help us to keep our faith strong!

Meditation Verse - ஓசியா 8: 14 / Hosea 8:14

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,457

'ஆதவன்' 💚பிப்ருவரி 03, 2025. 💚திங்கள்கிழமை

"இஸ்ரவேல் தன்னை உண்டாக்கினவரை மறந்து கோவில்களைக் கட்டுகிறான்; யூதா அரணான பட்டணங்களைப் பெருகப்பண்ணுகிறான்; ஆனாலும் நான் அதன் நகரங்களில் அக்கினியை வரப்பண்ணுவேன்; அது அவைகளின் கோவில்களைப் பட்சிக்கும்." ( ஓசியா 8: 14)

இஸ்ரவேல், யூதா என்பவை தேவன் சிறப்பாகத் தெரிந்துகொண்ட தேவனுடைய மக்களைக் குறிக்கின்றது. புதிய ஏற்பாட்டின்படி ஆவிக்குரிய கிறிஸ்தவர்களாகிய நாமே இஸ்ரவேலராய், யூதர்களாய்  இருக்கின்றோம். 

தேவன் தனது மக்கள் தன்னையே உண்மையாய் சேவித்துத் தனக்கு ஏற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழவேண்டுமென்று விரும்புகின்றார். ஆனால் அவர் தெரிந்துகொண்ட மக்களாகிய நாமோ அவரது கட்டளைகளை மறந்து - அவரை மறந்து, வீணான வழிபாட்டு முறைமைகளையும் மண்ணான ஆலயங்களைக் கட்டுவதியிலும், திருவிழா, அசனப்பண்டிகை என பல்வேறு காரியங்களிலும் ஈடுபட்டு மெய் தேவனாகிய அவரை மறந்த வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வதிலும் விருப்பமுற்று செயல்படுபவர்களாக இருக்கின்றோம்.    

மட்டுமல்ல, இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில், "யூதா அரணான பட்டணங்களைப் பெருகப்பண்ணுகிறான்" என்றும்  கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதாவது,  தேவனை மறந்து உலகச் செல்வங்களைப் பெருக்குவதிலும் பொருள்தேடி அலைவதிலும் மக்கள் காலத்தைக் கடத்துகின்றனர் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.

தேவனுக்கு உரிய மரியாதையைத் தராமல், அவரது கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாமல் வெறும் பக்திகாரியங்களில் ஈடுபடுவதிலும், உலகச் செல்வத்தைச் சேர்ப்பதற்கு அலைவதிலும்  நாட்டம்கொண்டு ஓடும் மக்களைப்பார்த்துத் தேவன் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் கூறுகின்றார், "நான் அதன் நகரங்களில் அக்கினியை வரப்பண்ணுவேன்; அது அவைகளின் கோவில்களைப் பட்சிக்கும்" என்று. அதாவது, தேவனை மறந்து வாழும் வாழ்க்கை தற்போதைக்குச் செழிப்புப்போல இருந்தாலும் அவை இறுதிவரை நமது வாழ்வில் நிலைநிற்பதில்லை, அழிந்துவிடும்  என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.  

அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் கட்டவேண்டியது மண்ணினாலான ஆலயங்களியல்ல, மாறாக நமது உடலாகிய ஆலயத்தை. இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் ஓசியா தீர்க்கத்தரிசி கூறுவது போலவே அப்போஸ்தலராகிய பவுலும்,   நமது உடலாகிய ஆலயத்தை நாம் கெடுத்தால் நமக்குத் தேவன் கெடுதல் செய்வார் என்று எச்சரிக்கின்றார். 

"நீங்கள் தேவனுடைய ஆலயமாயிருக்கிறீர்களென்றும், தேவனுடைய ஆவி உங்களில் வாசமாயிருக்கிறாரென்றும் அறியாதிருக்கிறீர்களா? ஒருவன் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தைக் கெடுத்தால், அவனைத் தேவன் கெடுப்பார்; தேவனுடைய ஆலயம் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கிறது; நீங்களே அந்த ஆலயம்." (1 கொரிந்தியர் 3: 16, 17)

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, எனவே நாம் நமது உடலாகிய ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டியெழுப்ப முயற்சிக்க முன்னுரிமை கொடுக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். ஆலயப்பணிவிடைகள் செய்ய ஓடுவதைவிட தனிப்பட்ட விதத்தில் நாம் தேவனோடு தொடர்பை ஏற்படுத்திக்கொள்ளவேண்டியது அவசியம். நம்மை உண்டாக்கினவரை மறந்து கோவில்களைக் கட்டுவதும்  அரணான பட்டணங்களை (உலகச் செல்வங்களை) பெருகப்பண்ணுவதும் வீணானதே. "நான் அதன் நகரங்களில் அக்கினியை வரப்பண்ணுவேன்; அது அவைகளின் கோவில்களைப் பட்சிக்கும்." என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

Scripture Meditation - No: 1,457

AATHAVAN 💚 February 03, 2025 – Monday 💚

"For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and buildeth temples; and Judah hath multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof." (Hosea 8:14, KJV)

"Israel" and "Judah" here refer to God's chosen people. According to the New Testament, we, as spiritual Christians, are now Israel and Judah.

God desires that His people serve Him in truth and live a life that pleases Him. However, we, whom He has chosen, tend to forget His commandments—forget Him—and instead engage in vain religious rituals, building earthly temples, celebrating festivals, and indulging in various activities, all while living a life that neglects the one true God.

Furthermore, today's meditation verse says, "Judah hath multiplied fenced cities." This implies that people, instead of seeking God, are preoccupied with amassing worldly wealth and chasing material possessions.

Without giving God the honour He deserves or obeying His commandments, many people are engrossed in mere religious activities and striving for material gain. Concerning such people, God declares in today's Scripture: "I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof." In other words, though a life lived apart from God may seem prosperous now, it will not last; it will ultimately perish.

Dear beloved, what we need to build is not temples made of brick and mortar, but our own bodies—the temple of God. Just as the prophet Hosea warns in today’s verse, the apostle Paul also cautions us that if we destroy God's temple (our body), God will destroy us.

"Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are." (1 Corinthians 3:16-17, KJV)

Yes, dear ones, we must prioritize building up the temple that is our own body. Rather than merely running towards church ministries, it is essential to establish a personal connection with God. Forgetting our Maker while building temples and multiplying fenced cities (worldly riches) is futile. The Lord warns:

"I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof." (Hosea 8:14, KJV)

Meditation verse - எபிரெயர் 7: 19 / Hebrews 7:19

'ஆதவன்' பிப்ருவரி 02, 2025. 💚ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை

"நியாயப்பிரமாணமானது ஒன்றையும் பூரணப்படுத்தவில்லை, அதிக நன்மையான நம்பிக்கையை வருவிப்பதோ பூரணப்படுத்துகிறது; அந்த நம்பிக்கையினாலே தேவனிடத்தில் சேருகிறோம்." ( எபிரெயர் 7: 19)

மனிதர்களாகிய நாம் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடையவர்களாக வாழவும் இறுதியில் நிலைவாழ்வு எனும் நித்திய ஜீவனைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளவும் தேவன் என்றுமே விரும்புகின்றார். இதற்காகவே அவர் மோசே வழியாகப்  பல்வேறு கட்டளைகளை மனிதர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்து வழிநடத்தினார். இவைகளையே நியாயப்பிரமாணக் கட்டளைகள் என்கின்றோம்.

ஆனால் தேவன் அருளிய பழைய ஏற்பாட்டுக்கால நியாயப்பிரமாணக் கட்டளைகளால்  மனிதர்களைப் பூரணப்படுத்தித் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடையவர்களாக மாற்றிட முடியவில்லை. இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம், "நியாயப்பிரமாணமானது ஒன்றையும் பூரணப்படுத்தவில்லை, அதிக நன்மையான நம்பிக்கையை வருவிப்பதோ பூரணப்படுத்துகிறது; அந்த நம்பிக்கையினாலே தேவனிடத்தில் சேருகிறோம்." என்று கூறுகின்றது. அதாவது, நியாயப்பிரமாணக் கட்டளைகளல்ல, மாறாக கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவின்மேல் நாம் கொள்ளும் நம்பிக்கையே நம்மை விடுதலையாகி தேவனிடத்தில் கொண்டு சேர்க்கின்றது. 

நியாயப்பிரமாணக் கட்டளைகள் எது பாவம், எது பாவமல்ல என்று எடுத்துகூறுமேத்தவிர அவை நம்மை பாவத்திலிருந்து விடுதலை அளிக்க உதவாது.  இதனைச் சரிப்படுத்தவே புதிய உடன்படிக்கையினை தனது இரத்தத்தின்மூலம் கிறிஸ்து ஏற்படுத்தினார். இதற்காகவே அவர் பூமியில் மனிதனாக வந்தார். இதனை நாம் ரோமர் நிருபத்தில், "அதெப்படியெனில், மாம்சத்தினாலே பலவீனமாயிருந்த நியாயப்பிரமாணம் செய்யக்கூடாததை தேவனே செய்யும்படிக்கு, தம்முடைய குமாரனைப் பாவமாம்சத்தின் சாயலாகவும், பாவத்தைப் போக்கும் பலியாகவும் அனுப்பி, மாம்சத்திலே பாவத்தை ஆக்கினைக்குள்ளாகத் தீர்த்தார்." ( ரோமர் 8: 3) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, கிறிஸ்து தனது மேலான கிருபையினால் உண்டாக்கிய மீட்பினை நாம் விருதாவாக (வீணான ஒன்றாக) எண்ணிவிடக்கூடாது. நியாயப்பிரமாணக் கட்டளைகளே போதுமென்றால் கிறிஸ்து பாடுபட்டு மரித்தது வீணான காரியமாக இருக்கும். "நான் தேவனுடைய கிருபையை விருதாவாக்குகிறதில்லை; நீதியானது நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தினாலே வருமானால் கிறிஸ்து மரித்தது வீணாயிருக்குமே." ( கலாத்தியர் 2: 21) என்கின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல்.

நியாயப்பிரமாணம் சுய நீதியை உண்டாக்குகின்றது; கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் நாம் கொள்ளும் விசுவாசமோ தேவ நீதிக்கு நேராக நம்மை நடத்துகின்றது.   எனவே கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதால் மட்டும் நாம் நம்மை நீதிமான்களாக எண்ண  முடியாது. அப்படி எண்ணிக்கொண்டு வாழ்வோமானால் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் காலத்தில் வாழ்ந்த பரிசேயர்களைப்போலவே நாமும் இருப்போம். எனவே, கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் முழு விசுவாசமுள்ளவர்களாக வாழ்வோம். 

"நான் கிறிஸ்துவை ஆதாயப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கு, நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தினால் வருகிற சுயநீதியை உடையவனாயிராமல், கிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தினால் வருகிறதும் விசுவாசமூலமாய் தேவனால் உண்டாயிருக்கிறதுமான நீதியை உடையவனாயிருந்து, கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் இருக்கிறவனென்று காணப்படும்படிக்கும்...."( பிலிப்பியர் 3: 9) எனத் தொடர்கிறார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல். நாம் கட்டளைகளைக் கடைபிடிப்பதாலல்ல மாறாக நம்பிக்கையினாலே தேவனிடத்தில் சேருகிறோம்.

"For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God." (Hebrews 7:19, KJV)

As human beings, God desires that we live in a manner pleasing to Him and ultimately attain eternal life, which is everlasting. For this purpose, He gave various commandments through Moses to guide humanity. These are what we refer to as the commandments of the law.

However, the commandments of the Old Testament law, given by God, could not perfect humanity or make them acceptable to God. This is precisely what today’s meditation verse states: "For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God." In other words, it is not the commandments of the law but our faith in Christ Jesus that sets us free and brings us to God.

The commandments of the law reveal what is sin and what is not, but they cannot deliver us from sin. To address this, Christ established a new covenant through His blood. For this very purpose, He came to earth as a man. As we read in the book of Romans: "For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh." (Romans 8:3, KJV)

Yes, dear friends, we must not consider the salvation Christ has graciously provided as something trivial. If the commandments of the law were sufficient, then Christ’s suffering and death would have been in vain. The apostle Paul says, "I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain." (Galatians 2:21, KJV)

The law produces self-righteousness, but faith in Christ leads us to God’s righteousness. Therefore, we cannot consider ourselves righteous merely by obeying commandments. If we live with such a mindset, we will be like the Pharisees of Jesus’ time. Instead, let us live as those who have complete faith in Christ.

Paul the apostle continues: "And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith." (Philippians 3:9, KJV) It is not by obeying commandments but by faith that we draw near to God.
