🦋 Meditation verse - எசேக்கியேல் 37: 14 / Ezekiel 37:14

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1758                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 30.11.2025 ஞாயிறு         

"என் ஆவியை உங்களுக்குள் வைப்பேன்; நீங்கள் உயிரடைவீர்கள்; நான் உங்களை உங்கள் தேசத்தில் வைப்பேன்; அப்பொழுது நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்; இதைச் சொன்னேன், இதைச் செய்வேன் என்று கர்த்தர் உரைக்கிறார்." ( எசேக்கியேல் 37: 14)

நாம் உயிருடன் இருக்கின்றோம் என்பதற்கு அடையாளம் நமது சுவாசம்தான். ஒருவர் மரணத்தருவாயில் இருக்கும்போது அவருக்கு இன்னும் உயிர் இருக்கின்றதா இல்லையா என்று பார்ப்பதற்கு அவரது மூக்கின்மேல் கைகளைவைத்து நாம் சோதிக்கின்றோம். அதுபோல, ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் நாம் உயிருடன் இருக்கின்றோம் என்பதற்கு அடையாளம் ஆவியானவர்தான். 

நாம் தேவனை அறியாதவர்களாக வாழ்ந்தபோது பாவத்துக்கு அடிமையாகி ஆவியில் மரித்தவர்களாக வாழ்ந்து வந்தோம். கிறிஸ்து நமது பாவங்களை மன்னித்து நம்மைப் புதுப்பிறப்பாக்கினார். இப்படி நாம் அவரை அறிந்தபின்னர் பாவத்தின் பிடியில் சிக்காமல் இருக்கவேண்டுமானால் நமக்குள் அவரது ஆவியானவர் வந்து நம்மை ஆட்சி செய்யவேண்டியது அவசியம். அப்போதுதான் நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய உயிருள்ளவர்களாக மாற முடியும். இதனையே, "என் ஆவியை உங்களுக்குள் வைப்பேன்; நீங்கள் உயிரடைவீர்கள்" என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். தேவனுடைய ஆவி நம்மில் இருந்தால்தான் நாம் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்ளமுடியும். இதனையே, "அப்பொழுது நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்" என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல்  "ஆதலால், தேவனுடைய ஆவியினாலே பேசுகிற எவனும் இயேசுவைச் சபிக்கப்பட்டவனென்று சொல்லமாட்டானென்றும்,   பரிசுத்த  ஆவியினாலேயன்றி  இயேசுவைக் கர்த்தரென்று ஒருவனும் சொல்லக்கூடாதென்றும், உங்களுக்குத் தெரிவிக்கிறேன்." (1 கொரிந்தியர் 12:3) என்கின்றார். 

ஆவியானவர் நம்மை நிரப்பிடவேண்டியது அவசியம் என்பதனை எசேக்கியேலுக்கு விளக்கிட தேவன் அவரை உலர்ந்த எலும்புகள் நிறைந்த பள்ளத்தாக்கிற்கு அழைத்துச் சென்றார்.  "மனுபுத்திரனே, இந்த எலும்புகள் இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தார் அனைவருமே; இதோ, அவர்கள் எங்கள் எலும்புகள் உலர்ந்துபோயிற்று; எங்கள் நம்பிக்கை அற்றுப்போயிற்று;  நாங்கள் அறுப்புண்டுபோகிறோம் என்கிறார்கள்." ( எசேக்கியேல் 37: 11) என்று கூறி அவற்றுக்கு அவரைக்கொண்டு தீர்க்கத்தரிசனம் கூறும்படிச் சொன்னார். 

"எனக்குக் கற்பிக்கப்பட்டபடி நான் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைத்தேன்; அப்பொழுது ஆவி அவர்களுக்குள் பிரவேசிக்க, அவர்கள் உயிரடைந்து, காலூன்றி, மகா பெரிய சேனையாய் நின்றார்கள்". ( எசேக்கியேல் 37: 10) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம்.

இன்று புதிய ஏற்பாட்டுக்காலத்தில் நாம்தான் ஆவிக்குரிய இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தார். இதோ, பாவத்தினால் எங்கள் எலும்புகள் உலர்ந்துபோயிற்று; எங்கள் நம்பிக்கை அற்றுப்போயிற்று;  நாங்கள் அறுப்புண்டுபோகிறோம் என நாம் புலம்பிடவேண்டாம். நமக்கு உயிரூட்டிட பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் உண்டு. அன்று எசேக்கியேலிடம்,  "கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர்   இந்த எலும்புகளை நோக்கி: இதோ, நான் உங்களுக்குள் ஆவியைப் பிரவேசிக்கப்பண்ணுவேன், அப்பொழுது உயிரடைவீர்கள்." ( எசேக்கியேல் 37: 5) என்று கூறச்சொன்னதுபோல இன்றும் நமக்குச் சொல்கிறார். 

நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய உயிரடைந்தவர்களாக மாறி, கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்துகொள்ள ஆவியானவரால் நிரப்பப்படவேண்டியது அவசியம். ஆம், "அப்பொழுது நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்; இதைச் சொன்னேன், இதைச் செய்வேன் என்று கர்த்தர் உரைக்கிறார்." நம் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும்,  "கேட்கிறவன் எவனும் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறான்; தேடுகிறவன் கண்டடைகிறான்; தட்டுகிறவனுக்குத் திறக்கப்படும்." (மத்தேயு 7:8) எனவே ஆவியானவரைக் கேளுங்கள் என்று நமக்குக் கூறவில்லையா?

ஆம், உலர்ந்துபோயிருக்கும் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வு உயிரடையவேண்டுமானால் நாம் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரால் நிரப்படவேண்டியது அவசியம். அப்போதுதான் நாம் உயிரடைந்து, காலூன்றி, மகா பெரிய சேனையாய் கர்த்தருக்கென்று நிற்கமுடியும்.

🔆 AATHAVAN – Sunday, 30.11.2025

“I will put My Spirit within you and you will come to life, and I will place you on your own land. Then you will know that I, the LORD, have spoken and done it,” declares the LORD.” — Ezekiel 37:14

The sign that we are physically alive is our breathing. When someone is critically ill or near death, we check for life by placing our hands near their nose to feel their breath. Likewise, in our spiritual life, the sign that we are alive is the Holy Spirit.

When we lived without knowing God, we were slaves to sin and spiritually dead. But Christ forgave our sins and made us born again. After knowing Him, to stay free from the grip of sin, His Spirit must dwell within us and rule our lives. Only then can we become spiritually alive. This is why the Lord says, “I will put My Spirit within you, and you will come to life.” Only when the Spirit of God is in us can we truly know that Jesus Christ is Lord. This is what today’s meditation verse teaches: “Then you will know that I, the LORD…”

Paul the Apostle also says: “Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, ‘Jesus is accursed’; and no one can say, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ except by the Holy Spirit.” — 1 Corinthians 12:3

To show Ezekiel the necessity of being filled with the Spirit, God took him to a valley filled with dry bones. God said to him: “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel; behold, they say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope has perished. We are completely cut off.’” — Ezekiel 37:11

Then God commanded Ezekiel to prophesy over those bones.

We read: “So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.” — Ezekiel 37:10

Today, in the New Testament era, we are the spiritual house of Israel. Because of sin, our bones may feel dried up, our hope lost, and our life cut off — but we should not despair. The Holy Spirit is given to give us life.

Just as God told Ezekiel: “Behold, I am going to make breath enter you so that you may come to life.” — Ezekiel 37:5. He tells us the same even today.

We must be filled with the Holy Spirit so that we may become spiritually alive and know the Lord Jesus Christ. Yes — “Then you will know that I, the LORD, have spoken and done it,” declares the LORD.

Our Lord Jesus Christ also tells us: “For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” — Matthew 7:8. Therefore, ask for the Holy Spirit!

If our spiritual life has dried up, we must be filled with the Holy Spirit. Only then will we come to life, stand on our feet, and become a great army for the Lord.

🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 30: 18 / Isaiah 30:18

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1757                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 29.11.2025 சனி         

"ஆனாலும் உங்களுக்கு இரங்கும்படி கர்த்தர் காத்திருப்பார், உங்கள்மேல் மனதுருகும்படி எழுந்திருப்பார்; கர்த்தர் நீதிசெய்கிற தேவன்; அவருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிற அனைவரும் பாக்கியவான்கள்." ( ஏசாயா 30: 18)

தேவன்மேல் நம்பிக்கைக் கொள்ளாமல் தங்களது சுய பலத்தையே நம்பி வாழும் மக்கள்தான் இந்த உலகத்தில் பெரும்பாலானவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர்.  இந்த மக்கள் வாழ்வில் எத்தனை பிரச்சனைகள் வந்தாலும் அவற்றிலிருந்த்து விடுதலைபெற, தேவனை நோக்கிப் பார்ப்பதைவிட தங்களது சுய பலத்தை நம்புகிறவர்களாகவே இருப்பார்கள்.  ஆனால்,  இப்படி வாழும்போது பிரச்சனைகள் நம்மைத்   தொடர்ந்து துரத்தவேச்  செய்யும். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தை எழுதும் ஏசாயா தீர்க்கத்தரிசி முந்தின வசனங்களில் கூறுகின்றார். "அப்படியல்ல, குதிரைகளின்மேல் ஏறி ஓடிப்போவோம் என்கிறீர்கள்; அப்படியே ஓடிப்போவீர்கள், வேகமான வாகனங்களின்மேல் ஏறிப்போவோம் என்கிறீர்கள்; அப்படியே உங்களைத் துரத்துகிறவர்கள் வேகமாய்த் துரத்துவார்கள்." ( ஏசாயா 30: 16) என்று. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவனை விட்டு சுய பலத்தை நம்பி இப்படிப் பிரச்சனைகளுக்குத் தப்பி ஓடிவிடலாம் என்று எண்ணுகிறீர்கள் ஆனால் உங்களைத் துரத்தும் பிரச்சனைகள் உங்களை வேகமாய்த்  துரத்தும்  என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். 

ஆனால் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது தேவன் அன்பாகவே இருப்பதால் நம்மை விடுவிக்க அவர் ஆர்வமுள்ளவராகவே இருக்கிறார். அதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. அதாவது,  நீங்கள் இப்படி நீங்கள் தேவனை விட்டுவிட்டு உங்கள்  சுய பலத்தை நம்பி ஓடினாலும், "உங்களுக்கு இரங்கும்படி கர்த்தர் காத்திருப்பார், உங்கள்மேல் மனதுருகும்படி எழுந்திருப்பார்; கர்த்தர் நீதிசெய்கிற தேவன்; அவருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிற அனைவரும் பாக்கிவான்கள்." 

நம்முடைய தேவன் நீதி செய்கிற தேவனாக இருக்கின்றார். எனவே அவர் நம்மைக் கைவிடமாட்டார். நாம் இப்படி அவரைவிட்டு ஓடினாலும் நமக்கு இரங்கும்படி அவர் காத்திருக்கின்றார். எனவே, நாம் அவருக்கு நேராகத் திரும்பி அவருக்குப் பொறுமையாகக் காத்திருப்போமானால் நாம் பாக்கியவான்களாக இருப்போம். நாம் வேண்டும் காரியங்களில் நமக்கு அவர் நீதிசெய்வார். ஆம், நாம் அவருக்குப்  பொறுமையுடன் காத்திருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது, "உங்களுக்கு இரங்கும்படி கர்த்தர் காத்திருப்பார்; உங்கள்மேல் மனதுருகும்படி அவர் எழுந்திருப்பார்" என்று. இதனையே நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து அநீதியுள்ள ஒரு நியாயாதிபதி குறித்துக் கூறிய உவமையில் (லூக்கா 18) கூறினார். ஒரு விதவை அந்த நீதிபதியிடம் நீதிவேண்டி அவனைத் தொடர்ந்து தொந்தரவு செய்துக்கொண்டே இருந்தாள். அவளது உபத்திரவம் தாங்கமுடியாமல் அவளுக்கு அவன் நீதி வழங்கினான் என்று கூறுகின்றார்.   "அந்தப்படியே தேவன் தம்மை நோக்கி இரவும் பகலும் கூப்பிடுகிறவர்களாகிய தம்மால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களின் விஷயத்தில் நீடிய பொறுமையுள்ளவராயிருந்து அவர்களுக்கு நியாயஞ்செய்யாமல் இருப்பாரோ ? " ( லுூக்கா 18: 7)

இதுபோலவே, தம்மால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களின் விஷயத்தில் தேவன் நீடிய பொறுமையுள்ளவராயிருந்து அவர்களுக்கு நியாயம் செய்கிறார் என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இந்த உவமை வழியாக நமக்குப் போதிக்கின்றார். ஆம், சுய பலத்தை நம்பி ஓடாமல் கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருக்கின்றவர்களுக்கு   கர்த்தர் நீதிசெய்கிற தேவன்; அவருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிற அனைவரும் பாக்கியவான்கள். அப்படிக் காத்திருக்கும் மக்களுக்கு இரங்கும்படி கர்த்தரும்  காத்திருப்பார். எனவே, நமது முயற்சிகளையும் பலத்தையும்  மட்டுமே நம்பிக்கொண்டு வாழாமல் நமது வாழ்வில் கர்த்தருக்கு முன்னுரிமைகொடுத்து பொறுமையுடன் காத்திருப்போம். அப்போது பாக்கியவான்களாகவும் இருப்போம்.

🔆 AATHAVAN – Saturday, 29.11.2025

“Therefore, the Lord longs to be gracious to you,
And therefore, He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice. How blessed are all those who long for Him.” (Isaiah 30:18)

In this world, most people live by relying on their own strength rather than trusting in God. No matter how many problems arise in their lives, instead of looking to God for deliverance, they continue to depend on their own ability. But when one lives like this, problems keep chasing them endlessly.

The prophet Isaiah explains this in the preceding verse: “You said, ‘No, for we will flee on horses,’ therefore you shall flee! ‘And we will ride on swift horses,’ therefore those who pursue you shall be swift.” (Isaiah 30:16)

Yes, dear ones—when we leave God and try to escape our problems through our own strength, the Lord Himself says that the very problems we are running from will pursue us swiftly.

Yet, because our God is compassionate, He desires to set us free. This is exactly what today’s Scripture affirms: Even if you turn away from Him and rely on your own strength, “The Lord longs to be gracious to you, and waits on high to have compassion on you; For the Lord is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him.” (Isaiah 30:18)

Our God is a God of justice. Therefore, He will not abandon us. Even when we run away from Him, He patiently waits to show compassion. When we turn back to Him and wait patiently for His time, we will indeed be blessed. He will act justly on our behalf in the things we need. Yes, it is essential that we wait on Him with patience.

Today’s Scripture says, “The Lord longs to be gracious to you… He waits on high to have compassion on you.” This aligns with the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ in the parable about the unjust judge (Luke 18). A widow persistently pleaded with the judge for justice, and though he was unjust, he granted her justice simply because she kept bothering him.

Jesus then said: “Now, will God not bring about justice for His elect who cry out to Him day and night, and will He delay long for them?” (Luke 18:7)

Through this parable, Jesus teaches us that God—who knows His people—will patiently listen and bring justice to them. Therefore, for those who do not rely on their own strength but wait for the Lord, “The Lord is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him.” (Isaiah 30:18)

He Himself waits to show compassion to those who wait for Him. So, let us not depend solely on our efforts and abilities; instead, let us give God the priority in our lives and wait patiently for Him. Then we will surely be blessed.

🦋 Meditation verse - சங்கீதம் 9: 9 / Psalm 9:9

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1756                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 28.11.2025 வெள்ளி        

"சிறுமைப்பட்டவனுக்குக் கர்த்தர் அடைக்கலமானவர்; நெருக்கப்படுகிற காலங்களில் அவரே தஞ்சமானவர்." ( சங்கீதம் 9: 9)

இந்த உலகத்தில் தேவன்மேல் நம்பிக்கையும் விசுவாசமும் இன்றும் மக்களிடையே நிலைத்திருக்கக் காரணம் தேவன் பல மனிதர்களை சிறுமையானவர்களாகவும் எளிமையானவர்களாகவும் வைத்திருப்பதால்தான். வேதாகமத்தை நாம் வாசிக்கும்போது, செல்வம் படைத்த பெரிய மனிதர்களல்ல;  மாறாக,  சிறுமைப்பட்ட மக்களே தேவன்மேல் அதிகம் விசுவாசம் கொண்டு வைராக்கியமாக வாழ்ந்ததை நாம் காணலாம். மேலும், செல்வந்தர்கள் தங்களது செல்வத்தைப் பெருக்கவும், தங்கள் பெருமையினை வெளிக்காட்டவும் தேவ பக்தியுள்ளவர்களாக நடிக்கின்றனர். பொதுவாக, மேலான ஆவிக்குரிய அனுபவங்கள் மிகுந்த செழிப்பான வாழ்க்கை வாழ்பவர்களிடம் இருப்பதில்லை. 

இதற்குக் காரணம், சிறுமையும் எளிமையான மக்கள் தாங்கள் நெருக்கப்படும் காலங்களில் விசுவாசத்தில் தேவனைச்  சார்ந்துகொண்டு   அவரது வல்லமையுயையும், தேவன் அளிக்கும்  விடுதலையளிக்கும் இன்பத்தையும்  வாழ்வில் அனுபவித்தவர்கள். அவர்கள் தங்களது அனுபவங்களைத் தங்களது பிள்ளைகளுக்கு ஊட்டி வளர்க்கின்றனர்.  

வேதாகமத்தை வாசிக்கும்போது சாதாரண ஏழை எளிய மக்களே  நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்விற்கு அதிகப் படிப்பினைகளைத் தருகின்றனர். தாவீது சிறுமையில் வாழ்ந்தபோது நெருக்கப்பட்டு  தேவனையே சார்ந்துகொண்டு அவரையே தஞ்சமாகக்கொண்டு வாழ்ந்து ராஜாவாக உயர்த்தப்பட்டார். மேலும், ஆபிரகாம், ஈசாக்கு, யாக்கோபு, நகோமி, கிதியோன் போன்று அனைவரும் தாழ்நிலையிலிருந்து நெருக்கப்பட்டு தேவனை நோக்கிப் பார்த்து அவரையே தஞ்சம் என்று வாழ்ந்தவர்களே. 

தனது வாழ்வில் கண்ட அனுபவத்தால் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தைத் தாவீது கூறுகின்றார். ஆம், "எளியவன் என்றைக்கும் மறக்கப்படுவதில்லை; சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களுடைய நம்பிக்கை ஒருபோதும் கெட்டுப்போவதில்லை." ( சங்கீதம் 9: 18) என்று அவர் தொடர்ந்து கூறுகின்றார். 

தேவனுக்குப் பயந்த உண்மையுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வோமானால் தேவன் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக எளியவர்களை ஆசீர்வதித்து உயர்த்துவார் என்று அன்னை மரியாளும் கூறுகின்றார். "அவருடைய இரக்கம் அவருக்குப் பயந்திருக்கிறவர்களுக்குத் தலைமுறை தலைமுறைக்குமுள்ளது.  தம்முடைய புயத்தினாலே பராக்கிரமஞ்செய்தார்; இருதய சிந்தையில் அகந்தையுள்ளவர்களைச் சிதறடித்தார். பலவான்களை ஆசனங்களிலிருந்து தள்ளி, தாழ்மையானவர்களை உயர்த்தினார்." ( லுூக்கா 1: 50- 52) என்கிறார் அவர். நமது இருதய சிந்தையில் அகந்தை இருக்குமானால் அதனை அகற்றி இருதயத் தாழ்மையை வேண்டுவோம்.

அன்பானவர்களே, இன்று ஒருவேளை நமது பிரச்சனைகளைப் பார்த்து நாம் அவநம்பிக்கைக் கொண்டவர்களாக இருக்கலாம். ஆனால் அத்தகைய அவநம்பிக்கையை நம்மைவிட்டு அகற்றிட இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நமக்கு உதவியாக இருக்கின்றது. ஆம், நமது தேவன் சிறுமைப்பட்டவனுக்கு அடைக்கலமானவர்; நெருக்கப்படுகிற காலங்களில் அவரே தஞ்சமானவர். எனவே, மற்ற நேரங்களைவிட நெருக்கடியான வேளைகளில் நாம் தேவனை நோக்கி அதிக உறுதியான விசுவாசத்துடன் வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்த ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழ உறுதியெடுப்போம். "அவருடைய இரக்கம் அவருக்குப் பயந்திருக்கிறவர்களுக்குத் தலைமுறை தலைமுறைக்குமுள்ளது."

“The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble.” — Psalm 9:9

The reason faith and trust in God continue to remain alive among people in this world is that God has kept many individuals humble and simple. As we read the Scriptures, we see that it was not the wealthy or the powerful who lived with deep faith in God, but rather the lowly and the oppressed who lived with greater devotion and spiritual commitment. On the other hand, the rich often act religious merely to increase their wealth and display their greatness. Generally, profound spiritual experiences are not found among those who live in luxury.

The reason is that humble and simple people, when distressed, cling to God with faith. They experience His power and the joy of His deliverance in their personal lives. They pass on these experiences to their children, nurturing them with the same trust in God.

When we read the Scriptures, it is ordinary, poor, and simple people who teach us the greatest spiritual lessons. David, when he lived in lowliness, trusted God during times of distress and took refuge in Him — and God exalted him as king. Likewise, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Naomi, Gideon, and many others were people who, from a lowly state, looked to God and lived with Him as their refuge.

From his own life experiences, David declares today’s meditation verse. Yes, he continues by saying: “For the needy will not always be forgotten, Nor the hope of the afflicted perish forever.” — Psalm 9:18

Mother Mary also proclaims that when we live a true life that fears God, He exalts the humble from generation to generation: “And His mercy is to generation after generation toward those who fear Him. He has done mighty deeds with His arm; He has scattered those who were proud in the thoughts of their hearts. He has brought down rulers from their thrones and has exalted those who were humble.”— Luke 1:50–52

If pride is found in the thoughts of our hearts, let us remove it and seek the humility God desires.

Dearly beloved, perhaps today we are discouraged by the problems we face. But this meditation verse helps us remove such hopelessness. Yes, our God is a refuge for the oppressed; He is our shelter in times of trouble. Therefore, especially in moments of distress, we must look to God and live with stronger faith.

Let us take a firm decision to live a life that fears the Lord. “And His mercy is to generation after generation toward those who fear Him.”

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1755                                    🔆 ஆதவன் 27.11.2025 வியாழன்       

"நாட்கள் பொல்லாதவைகளானதால் காலத்தைப் பிரயோஜனப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளுங்கள். ஆகையால், நீங்கள் மதியற்றவர்களாயிராமல், கர்த்தருடைய சித்தம் இன்னதென்று உணர்ந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்." ( எபேசியர் 5: 16-17)

இன்றைய தியான வசனம், நாம் தேவ சித்தமறிந்த புத்தியுள்ளவர்களாக வாழவேண்டும் என்று நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது. நம் ஒவ்வொருவரது வாழ்வைக்குறித்தும் தேவனுக்கு ஒரு நோக்கம் உண்டு.  அதனை நாம் உணர்ந்துகொள்வதுதான் அறிவுடைமை என்று பவுல் கூறுகின்றார். அப்படி உணர்ந்துகொள்ளாதவர்கள் மதியற்றவர்கள். ஆகையால், நீங்கள் மதியற்றவர்களாயிராமல், கர்த்தருடைய சித்தம் இன்னதென்று உணர்ந்துகொள்ளுங்கள் என்கின்றார். 

ஒரு பள்ளி மாணவனுக்கு இறுதித் தேர்வில் நல்ல மதிப்பெண் பெற்று வெற்றிபெறுவதுதான் இலக்காக இருக்கமுடியும். அதற்கு அந்த மாணவன் தேர்வுக்கு முந்தினநாள் மட்டும் முயற்சி செய்தால் போதாது.  ஆண்டு முழுவதும் அவன் முயலவேண்டும். கொடுக்கபட்டக் காலத்தைச் சரியான முறையில் பயன்படுத்தவேண்டும். அப்படிப் பயன்படுத்தாத மாணவன் மதியற்றவன். இதுபோலவே ஆவிக்குரிய மனிதன் தன்னைக்குறித்த தேவ சித்தத்தை அறிந்திருக்கவேண்டு; அது நிறைவேறுவதற்காக செயல்படுபவனாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  

இன்றைய தியான வசனம், கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்வில் காலத்தின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை உணர்ந்து அதை ஞானமாகப் பயன்படுத்துவதைப் பற்றி நமக்குக் கற்றுத்தருகின்றது.  நம்முடைய வாழ்வில் தேவனால் நமக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட தருணங்களைப் பற்றியும் உணர்வுள்ளவர்களாய் நாம் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று உணர்த்துகின்றார் பவுல். நம்முடைய கவனத்தை எளிதில் கவர்ந்துவிடும் உலக இச்சைகள் நிறைந்த ஒரு உலகில் நாம் வாழ்கிறோம், அவை  நம்மை தேவனுடைய பாதையிலிருந்து  விலகிச் செல்ல வழிவகுக்கும். நன்மையான காரியங்களுக்காகவும், மற்றவர்களுடன் நம்முடைய விசுவாசத்தைப் பகிர்ந்துகொள்வதற்கான வாய்ப்புகளைத் தேடுவதிலும் நாம் முன்னோக்கிச் செயல்பட வேண்டும். 

"நாட்கள் பொல்லாதவைகளானதால்" என்ற சொற்றொடர் இந்த உலகினில் நாம் வாழ்வில் சந்திக்கும் பிரச்சனைகளால் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வு பாதிக்கப்படும் சூழல் நமக்கு உண்டு என்று எச்சரிக்கின்றது.  அனால், நாம் நம்முடைய செயல்கள் மூலம் ஒரு நேர்மறையான தாக்கத்தை உருவாக்க முடியும். நம்முடைய இருளான வாழ்க்கையில் ஒளியைப் பிரகாசிக்க ஆவன செய்ய நம்மால் முடியும். அதற்கு நாம் நமக்கு உலகினில் கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ள ஒவ்வொரு வாய்ப்பையும் தகுதியாகப் பயன்படுத்திக் கொள்ளவேண்டும்.  

உலக வாழ்வில் நாம் சுறுசுறுப்பாக இருப்பது போல ஆவிக்குரிய காரியங்களிலும் சுறுசுறுப்பாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  ஆனாலும்,  செய்ய வேண்டிய காரியங்களைச் செய்து முடிப்பது மட்டுமல்ல, எல்லா காரியங்களையும் கிறிஸ்தவ அடிப்படை காரணிகளாகிய தயவு, அன்பு, மற்றும் இரக்கம் போன்ற முக்கியமான காரியங்களில் நாம் கவனத்தைச் செலுத்த வேண்டியது அவசியம். எனவேதான், "உங்கள் காரியங்களெல்லாம் அன்போடே செய்யப்படக்கடவது." (1 கொரிந்தியர் 16:14) என்று கூறுகின்றார் பவுல். நமக்குக் கிடைக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு தருணமும் அன்பை வெளிப்படுத்த  ஒரு வாய்ப்பாக இருக்க முடியும். அதனை நாம் சரியாகப் பயன்படுத்திக் கொள்ளவேண்டும். ஆம், கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்வில் ஒவ்வொரு நிமிடமும் முக்கியமானது என்று பவுலின் அறிவுறுத்தல் நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது.

உலகினில் நமக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட வாழ்நாள்  காலம் எவ்வளவு என்று நமக்குத் தெரியாது. எனவே, நாட்கள் குறுகியதாகவும் பொல்லாதவைகளாகவும் இருப்பதால் அவற்றை தகுந்த முறையில் பயன்படுத்திக்கொள்வோம்.

🔆 Aathavan – Thursday, 27.11.2025

“So then do not be foolish but understand what the will of the Lord is. Make the most of your time, because the days are evil.” (Ephesians 5:16–17)

Today’s meditation verse instructs us to live with wisdom, understanding the will of God. God has a purpose for each of our lives. According to Paul, realizing this divine purpose and aligning our lives with it is true wisdom. Those who fail to understand God’s will are considered foolish. Therefore, he urges us: “Do not be foolish but understand what the will of the Lord is.”

A school student may set a goal to score well in the final examination. But success cannot be achieved by studying only on the day before the exam. The student must work throughout the year and use the given time wisely. A student who neglects this is considered foolish. Likewise, a spiritual person must clearly know God’s will for their life and act intentionally for its fulfilment.

Today’s Scripture teaches us the importance of time in the Christian life and how to use it wisely. Paul reminds us to be aware of the moments God has granted us. We live in a world filled with desires and distractions that can easily pull us away from God’s path. Therefore, we must be intentional—seeking opportunities to do good and share our faith with others.

The phrase “because the days are evil” warns us of the spiritual challenges we face in this world. Though the world may present situations that hinder our spiritual growth, we can still shine God’s light through our actions. To do this, we must make the best use of every opportunity given to us.

Just as we remain active and diligent in our worldly responsibilities, we must be equally diligent in spiritual matters. Yet, accomplishing tasks alone is not enough. We must root everything in foundational Christian virtues—kindness, love, and compassion. This is why Paul says: “All that you do must be done in love.” (1 Corinthians 16:14)

Every moment God gives us can be an opportunity to express His love. We must use those moments wisely. Paul’s instruction reminds us that every minute is significant in Christian living.

We do not know how long God has granted us life on this earth. Therefore, since the days are short and filled with challenges, let us use them wisely and purposefully.

🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 62: 3 / Isaiah 62:3

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1754                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 26.11.2025 புதன்      

"நீ கர்த்தருடைய கையில் அலங்காரமான கிரீடமும், உன் தேவனுடைய கரத்தில் ராஜமுடியுமாயிருப்பாய்." ( ஏசாயா 62: 3)

கிறிஸ்தவர்களில் பலரும் பொதுவாக இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தை இறந்தவர்களது கல்லறைகளிலும், நினைவு நாள் அட்டைகளிலும் அச்சிடுவார்கள்.  ஆனால் இந்த வசனம் இறந்தவர்களுக்காக அல்ல; மாறாக, கிறிஸ்துவால் மீட்கப்பட்ட மக்களுக்குக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ள வசனமாகும். 

ஒரு அரசனுக்கு கிரீடம், மணிமுடி என்பன அதிகாரத்தையும் மேன்மையையும் வெளிப்படுத்தும் அடையாளங்களாகும். அதாவது, இந்த வசனத்தில், நாம் ஒரு மதிப்பின் வலியுறுத்தலைக் காண்கிறோம். "அழகுள்ள கிரீடம்" மற்றும் "ராஜமகுடம்" ஆகிய உருவகங்கள் சிறப்பானவை. இவை,  அழகு மற்றும் விசேஷத்தைக் குறிக்கிறது. இது கடவுளுடைய மக்கள் சாதாரணமானவர்கள் அல்ல; அவர்கள் அவருடைய பார்வையில் விலைமதிப்பற்றவர்கள் என்பதைக் குறிக்கிறது. "கிரீடம்" என்ற சொல் மதிப்புமிக்க மற்றும் உயர்த்தப்பட்ட ஒன்றைக் குறிக்கிறது, இது ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் கடவுளின் திட்டத்தில் ஒரு குறிப்பிடத்தக்க இடம் உண்டு என்பதை உணர்த்துகிறது.

இந்த வசனத்தின் ஆழத்தை நாம்  புரிந்துகொள்ள, இந்த வசனம் கூறப்பட்ட சூழல் மற்றும் அதன் பொருளை நாம் முதலில் உணர்ந்துகொள்ளவேண்டும்.  ஏசாயா தீர்க்கதரிசி இஸ்ரவேலர்களுக்கு ஆறுதல், நம்பிக்கை மற்றும் மீட்பின் செய்திளை வழங்குவதில் பெயர்பெற்றவர். இஸ்ரவேல்  மக்கள் நாடுகடத்தலில் இருந்து திரும்பி வந்து, எருசலேமில் தங்கள் வாழ்க்கையை மீண்டும் கட்டியெழுப்புவதில் பல சவால்களை  எதிர்கொண்டனர். இந்த வசனத்தில் உள்ள உருவகம், கடவுள் தம் மக்களை உயர்த்துவார்  என்ற வாக்குறுதியைப் பிரதிபலிக்கிறது. அதாவது, ஏசாயா இந்த வசனத்தை அடிமைகளாக நாடுகடத்தப்பட்ட இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் பல்வேறு துன்பங்களை அனுபவித்த பிறகு அவர்களின் அதிகாரம் மீட்டெடுக்கப்படுவதை குறிப்பிட எழுதுகின்றார். 

இன்றைய புதிய ஏற்பாட்டுக்கால மக்களாகிய நாம் பாவத்துக்கு அடிமைகளாக வாழ்ந்து கிறிஸ்துவால் மீட்கப்பட்டு  கடவுளின் கையில் மகத்தான ஒருவராக மாற்றப்படுகிறோம் என்பதை இந்த வசனம் குறிக்கின்றது. மட்டுமல்ல, மீட்கப்பட்ட நம்முடைய உள்ளார்ந்த மதிப்பை இது நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது. நாம் கடவுளின் பிரியமான பிள்ளைகள் என்ற நம்முடைய அடையாளத்தை உணர்ந்துகொள்ள இது ஒரு ஊக்க வசனமாக அமைகிறது; நாம் தேவனால் ஒரு நோக்கத்துடனும் முக்கியத்துவத்துடனும் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம் என்பதை நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது.

மீட்கப்பட்ட நாம் ஒவ்வொருவரும் தேவனுக்கு ராஜாக்களும் ஆசாரியர்களுமாக இருக்கின்றோம். "நீங்களோ, உங்களை அந்தகாரத்தினின்று தம்முடைய ஆச்சரியமான ஒளியினிடத்திற்கு வரவழைத்தவருடைய புண்ணியங்களை அறிவிக்கும்படிக்குத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட சந்ததியாயும், ராஜரீகமான ஆசாரியக்கூட்டமாயும், பரிசுத்த ஜாதியாயும், அவருக்குச் சொந்தமான ஜனமாயும் இருக்கிறீர்கள்." (1 பேதுரு 2: 9) என்று பேதுரு குறிப்பிடுகின்றார். 

 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, உலக வாழ்வில் ஒருவேளை வறுமை நம்மை வாட்டி வதைக்கலாம் ஆனால், கிறிஸ்துவால் மீட்கப்பட்ட நாம் அனைவரும் பிச்சைக்காரர்களல்ல; ராஜாக்கள். எனவேதான் ஏசாயா தொடர்ந்து இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின் அடுத்த வசனத்தில் கூறுகின்றார், "நீ இனிக் கைவிடப்பட்டவள் என்னப்படாமலும், உன் தேசம் இனிப்பாழான தேசமென்னப்படாமலும், நீ எப்சிபா என்றும், உன் தேசம் பியூலா என்றும் சொல்லப்படும்; கர்த்தர் உன்மேல் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறார்; உன் தேசம் வாழ்க்கைப்படும்." ( ஏசாயா 62: 4) நாம் கர்த்தருடைய கையில் அலங்காரமான கிரீடமும், ராஜமுடியுமாயிருகின்றோம் என்பது எத்தனை மேன்மையான காரியம்!! எனவே மகிழ்ச்சியாய் இருப்போம்.

🔆 AATHAVAN – Wednesday, 26.11.2025

“You will also be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, And a royal diadem in the hand of your God.” — Isaiah 62:3

Many Christians commonly print today’s meditation verse on tombstones and memorial cards. However, this verse is not meant for the dead; rather, it is spoken to the people redeemed by Christ.

For a king, a crown and a royal diadem symbolize authority and majesty. In this verse, we see a strong emphasis on value and honour. The images of “a crown of beauty” and “a royal diadem” are powerful, representing beauty, uniqueness, and special favour. God’s people are not ordinary; they are precious in His sight. The word “crown” points to something valuable and exalted, reminding us that every person has a significant place in God’s divine plan.

To understand the depth of this verse, we must first grasp its context and purpose. The prophet Isaiah is well known for delivering messages of comfort, hope, and restoration to the Israelites. After returning from exile, the people of Israel faced many challenges in rebuilding their lives in Jerusalem. The imagery in this verse reflects God’s promise to lift them up again. Isaiah writes this to assure a people once enslaved and exiled that their honour would be restored after much suffering.

In the same way, as New Testament believers who were once slaves to sin but redeemed by Christ, we are transformed into valuable vessels in God’s hands. This verse reminds us of our inner worth. It encourages us to understand our identity as God’s beloved children—created with purpose and significance.

All who are redeemed are made by God to be kings and priests. As Peter declares:

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” — 1 Peter 2:9

Dearly beloved, though poverty or struggles may press us in this earthly life, those redeemed by Christ are not beggars but kings. That is why Isaiah continues in the next verse:

“It will no longer be said to you, ‘Forsaken,’

Nor to your land will it any longer be said, ‘Desolate’;

But you will be called, ‘My delight is in her,’

And your land, ‘Married’;

For the Lord delights in you,

And to Him your land will be married.”

— Isaiah 62:4

What a glorious truth—that we are a crown of beauty and a royal diadem in the hand of the Lord! Let us rejoice in this honour.

🦋 Meditation verse - லுூக்கா 23 : 42 / Luke 23:42

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1753                                  🔆 ஆதவன் 25.11.2025 செவ்வாய்     

"ஆண்டவரே, நீர் உம்முடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் வரும்போது அடியேனை நினைத்தருளும்." ( லுூக்கா 23 : 42 )

இன்று பலரும் பல்வேறு விதங்களில் ஜெபங்களைச் செய்துகொண்டிருக்கின்றோம். மேலும், கிறிஸ்தவ சபைகளில் பல்வேறு ஜெப முயற்சிகள் செய்யப்படுகின்றன. நள்ளிரவு ஜெபம், உபவாச ஜெபம், சங்கிலி ஜெபம்,  உள்ளிருப்பு ஜெபம், இளைஞர் ஜெபம், பெண்கள் கூடுகை, விசேஷித்த ஜெப ஆராதனை என்று இந்த ஜெப பட்டியல் நீண்டுகொண்டே செல்கின்றது. ஆனால், இத்தகைய ஜெபக் கூடுகைகளில் பாவத்தைக்குறித்து எந்த அளவுக்கு மக்களுக்கு உணர்வூட்டப்படுகின்றது என்பது கேள்விக்குறியாகவே இருக்கின்றது. அன்பானவர்களே, மனம் திரும்புதல் இல்லாத எந்த ஜெபமும் தேவனுக்குமுன் ஏற்புடையதல்ல என்பதனை நாம் முதலில் புரிந்துகொள்ளவேண்டும். . 

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் நாம் வாசிக்கும் ஜெபம் பெரிய பரிசுத்தவான் செய்த நீண்ட ஜெபமல்ல; மாறாக, கொலைத்தண்டனை விதிக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு திருடன் செய்த விண்ணப்பம்.  வெறும் ஏழு அல்லது எட்டு வார்த்தைகளைக்கொண்ட ஜெபம். இன்று கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் வேதாகமத்திலிருந்து பல்வேறு ஜெபங்களை உதாரணம் கொண்டு ஜெபிக்கின்றனர். யாபேஸின் ஜெபம், மோசேயின் ஜெபம், தாவீது, சாலமோன் இவர்களின் ஜெபம் இவற்றை பலர் பலவேளைகளில் பயன்படுத்துவதுண்டு. ஆனால் இந்தக் கொலைக்  குற்றவாளியின் ஜெபம் அவற்றைவிட மேலானது; இது வார்த்தைகளின் அலங்கரிப்பல்ல; மாறாக, மனம் வருந்தி இருதயத்திலிருந்து அவன் செய்த விண்ணப்பம். 

இந்த ஜெபத்தை அவன் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவிடம் ஏறெடுக்குமுன் தன்னோடு சிலுவையில் அறியப்பட்டிருந்த சக திருடனை நோக்கிக் கூறும் வார்த்தைகளைக் கவனித்துப்பார்ப்போம். "நீ இந்த ஆக்கினைக்குட்பட்டவனாயிருந்தும் தேவனுக்குப் பயப்படுகிறதில்லையா?  நாமோ நியாயப்படி தண்டிக்கப்படுகிறோம்; நாம் நடப்பித்தவைகளுக்குத் தக்க பலனை அடைகிறோம்; இவரோ தகாததொன்றையும் நடப்பிக்கவில்லையே" ( லுூக்கா 23 : 40-41 ) என்கின்றான். 

அதாவது, அவன் தனது பாவத்தை உணர்ந்திருந்தான்; தான் தண்டிக்கப்படுவது முறையானதுதான் என்பதனை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டான். இயேசு கிறிஸ்து பாவமற்றவர் என்பதனையும், அவரே பாவங்களை மன்னிக்கின்ற மேசியா என்பதனையும் உணர்த்துகொண்டவனாக இருந்தான். எனவேதான், "ஆண்டவரே, நீர் உம்முடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் வரும்போது அடியேனை நினைத்தருளும்." என்று வேண்டினான். "இயேசு அவனை நோக்கி: இன்றைக்கு நீ என்னுடேனேகூடப் பரதீசிலிருப்பாய் என்று மெய்யாகவே உனக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார்." ( லுூக்கா 23 : 43 )

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, மனம் திரும்புதல் இல்லாத நீண்ட நெடிய ஜெபங்களும் உபவாசங்களும் தேவனுக்குமுன் எடுபடாது. மாறாக, மெய்யான மனஸ்தாபத்துடன் மனம் வருத்தி நாம் செய்யும் சிறு ஜெபத்தையும் தேவன் கனிவுடன் ஏற்றுக்கொள்கின்றார். வாழ்க்கையில் திருட்டையே தொழிலாகக்கொண்டு வாழ்ந்தவன் மனம்திரும்பி செய்த சிறு ஜெபத்துக்கு, "இன்று என்னோடுகூட பரதேசியில் இருப்பாய்" எனும் மேலான  ஒரு பதிலை கிறிஸ்துவிடம் பெற்றுக்கொண்டான்; பரலோக வாழ்வைப்  பெற்றுக்கொண்டான் என்றால் நமது ஜெபத்தைத் தேவன் கேட்கமாட்டாரா? 

நாம் நம்மையே நிதானித்துப்பார்ப்போம். நமது பாவ வழக்கை என்றாவது நம்மை இருதயத்தில் குத்துதல் ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கின்றதா? இல்லையானால் எந்த உணர்வுமில்லாமல் வெறுமனே ஜெபித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றோமா? ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, "எனக்கு ஜெபிக்கத்  தெரியாது" என்று யாரும் எண்ணவேண்டாம். இந்தத் திருடன் ஜெபித்ததுபோல நம்மால் ஜெபிக்க முடியாதா? 

இந்தத் திருடன் தனது பாவங்களை உணர்த்ததுபோல உணர்ந்து, மெய்யாகவே அந்தப் பாவங்களைச் செய்ததற்காக மனம் வருந்தி அவரிடம் மன்னிப்பை வேண்டுவோமானால் தேவன் நிச்சயமாக நமது பாவங்களை மன்னித்து நம்மையும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வார்.  ஆம், "நம்முடைய பாவங்களை நாம் அறிக்கையிட்டால், பாவங்களை நமக்கு மன்னித்து எல்லா அநியாயத்தையும் நீக்கி நம்மைச் சுத்திகரிப்பதற்கு அவர் உண்மையும் நீதியும் உள்ளவராயிருக்கிறார்". (1 யோவான் 1:9)

“Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!” (Luke 23:42)

Today, many of us pray in various ways. In Christian churches too, numerous prayer initiatives are conducted—midnight prayers, fasting prayers, chain prayers, intercessory prayers, youth prayers, women’s fellowship, special prayer worship, and the list goes on endlessly. But in these prayer gatherings, how far are people made aware of sin? This remains a big question.

Beloved, we must first understand one truth: any prayer without repentance is not acceptable before God.

The prayer we read in today’s meditation is not a long prayer made by a great saint. Instead, it is the plea of a thief who had been sentenced to death. A prayer consisting of barely seven or eight words.

Today, Christians take several prayers from the Bible as models—Jabez’s prayer, Moses’ prayer, the prayers of David and Solomon—and use them often. But the prayer of this condemned criminal was not decorated with poetic words; rather, it was a heartfelt cry that rose from deep sorrow and repentance.

Before he prayed to Jesus Christ, let us notice what he said to the other thief crucified beside him: “Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.” (Luke 23:40–41)

This means he had realized his sin. He accepted that his punishment was just. He understood that Jesus Christ is sinless, and that He is the Messiah who forgives sins. Therefore, he prayed: “Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom.”

And Jesus replied to him: “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.” (Luke 23:43)

Yes, beloved, long extended prayers and fastings without repentance are not acceptable to God. But even a short prayer that comes from a truly repentant heart is received graciously by the Lord.

A man who lived his entire life as a thief prayed a simple prayer in repentance—and he received the glorious promise: “Today you shall be with Me in Paradise.” If Christ granted him eternal life, will He not hear our prayer?

Let us examine ourselves. Has our sinful way of life ever pierced our hearts? Or are we praying without any understanding or conviction?

Beloved, no one should say, “I don’t know how to pray.” Can we not pray as this thief prayed?

If we, like him, realize our sins, truly repent for what we have done, and seek forgiveness from the Lord, God will certainly forgive and accept us.
For the Scripture says:

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

🦋 Meditation verse - 2 கொரிந்தியர் 12 : 10 / 2 Corinthians 12:10

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1752                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 24.11.2025 திங்கள்    

"நான் பலவீனமாயிருக்கும்போதே பலமுள்ளவனாயிருக்கிறேன்; ஆகையால் கிறிஸ்துவினிமித்தம் எனக்கு வரும் பலவீனங்களிலும், நிந்தைகளிலும், நெருக்கங்களிலும், துன்பங்களிலும், இடுக்கண்களிலும் நான் பிரியப்படுகிறேன்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 12 : 10 )

பொதுவாக அனைவருமே வாழ்வில் எல்லாவற்றிலும் சிறந்தவையே நமக்குக் கிடைக்கவேண்டும், நிகழவேண்டும் என எண்ணுவோம். நல்ல பலமும் உடல் நலமும் வேண்டும்; நல்ல செழிப்பான வாழ்க்கை அமையவேண்டும், வாழ்வில் துன்பங்கள், நெருக்கடிகள் ஏற்படக்கூடாது என்று எண்ணுவோம்.   ஆனால் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர் வித்தியாசமான மனநிலையுள்ளவராக; நமது எண்ணங்களுக்கு மாறாகக் கூறுகின்றார். 

"எனக்கு வரும் பலவீனங்களிலும், நிந்தைகளிலும், நெருக்கங்களிலும், துன்பங்களிலும், இடுக்கண்களிலும் நான் பிரியப்படுகிறேன்" என்கின்றார் அவர். இது ஏன் என்பதனை நாம் புரிந்துகொள்வோமானால் நாமும் நமது வலிமையிலும், பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சியிலும் மேன்மைபாராட்ட மாட்டோம்; நமது பலவீனங்களிலும், நோய்களிலும், துன்பங்களிலும் மனம் மடிந்து போகமாட்டோம்.

மேலும், நமக்கு நல்ல உடல் நலமும் பண வசதியும் நெருக்கடியற்ற வாழ்க்கையும் அமையுமானால் நாம் தேவனை நினைக்கமாட்டோம். நமது உடல் பலமும் அதிகார பலமுமே எல்லாவற்றையும் நமக்குச் சம்பாதித்துத் தந்தது என எண்ணிக்கொள்வோம். மற்றவர்களை மதிக்கமாட்டோம். 

எனவேதான் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்குத் தேவன் மோசே மூலம் தேவன்,  "என் சாமர்த்தியமும் என் கைப்பெலனும் இந்த ஐசுவரியத்தை எனக்குச் சம்பாதித்தது என்று நீ உன் இருதயத்தில் சொல்லிக்கொள்ளாமலும் இருக்க எச்சரிக்கையாயிருந்து, உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை நினைப்பாயாக; அவரே உன் பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடுத்த தம்முடைய உடன்படிக்கையை உறுதிப்படுத்தும்படி, இந்நாளில் உனக்கு உண்டாயிருக்கிறதுபோல, ஐசுவரியத்தைச் சம்பாதிக்கிறதற்கான பெலனை உனக்குக் கொடுக்கிறவர்." ( உபாகமம் 8 : 17, 18 )என்று கூறினார்.

ஆம்  அன்பானவர்களே, செல்வத்தையும் இதர வசதிகளையும், நோயற்ற வாழ்வையும் நமக்குக் கொடுப்பவர் தேவனே. இதனை நாம் நமது பலவீனங்களில்தான் உணரமுடியும். ஒன்றுமில்லாத வேளைகளில், அடுத்த வேளை  செலவுக்குப் பணமில்லாமல் சிறுமைப்பட்டு நாம் தேவனை நோக்கிவேண்டும்போது அவரது அதிசயமான வல்ல கரத்தின் வலிமையை நாம் வாழ்வில் கண்டுணர முடியும். மருத்துவர்களால் கைவிடப்பட்ட குணமாக்க முடியாத நோயினால் வருந்தும்போதுதான் தேவனை நோக்கி ஜெபித்து அவரது வல்லாமையினால் குணமாகும் அதிசயத்தை வாழ்வில் கண்டுணர முடியும். ஆகையால்தான்,  "கிறிஸ்துவினிமித்தம் எனக்கு வரும் பலவீனங்களிலும், நிந்தைகளிலும், நெருக்கங்களிலும், துன்பங்களிலும், இடுக்கண்களிலும் நான் பிரியப்படுகிறேன்" என்கின்றார் பவுல்.

ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் மேலான அனுபவங்களைப் பெற்று அனுபவித்தவர் அபோஸ்தலரான பவுல். அதனால் தான் பெருமை அடைந்துவிடக்கூடாது என்பதற்காகத்  தேவன் தனது உடலில் முள் போன்ற ஒரு நோயைக் கொடுத்தவுள்ளதாக அவர் கூறுகின்றார். "அன்றியும், எனக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட்டவைகளுக்குரிய மேன்மையினிமித்தம் நான் என்னை உயர்த்தாதபடிக்கு, என் மாம்சத்திலே ஒரு முள் கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது; என்னை நான் உயர்த்தாதபடிக்கு, அது என்னைக் குட்டும் சாத்தானுடைய தூதனாயிருக்கிறது." (2 கொரிந்தியர் 12: 7) என்கின்றார் அவர். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது பலவீனமான வாழ்க்கையில் வரும் முட்களால்தான் தேவனது வல்லமையினை; அவரது கிருபையை;  நாம் அனுபவித்து உணரமுடியும். இன்று ஏதாவது பலவீனத்தால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு கவலையுடன் இருப்பீர்கனென்றால் தேவன் பவுலிடம் கூறியதுபோல உங்களிடமும்  கூறுகின்றார், "என் கிருபை உனக்குப்போதும்; பலவீனத்திலே என் பலம் பூரணமாய் விளங்கும்"   (2 கொரிந்தியர் 12:9)

ஆகையால், கிறிஸ்துவின் வல்லமை நம்மேல் தங்கும்படி, நமது பலவீனங்களைக்குறித்து சந்தோஷமாய் மேன்மை பாராட்டுவோம்.  தேவ கிருபையினைச் சார்ந்து கொள்வோம்.

📖 Scripture Meditation No. 1752
🔆 AATHAVAN – Monday, 24.11.2025

“For when I am weak, then I am strong. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for the sake of Christ.” (2 Corinthians 12:10, NASB)

Generally, we all desire only the best in life. We expect good strength, good health, prosperity, and a life without struggles or hardships. But in today’s meditation verse, the Apostle Paul expresses a completely different attitude—one that is opposite to our natural thinking.

He says, “I am well content with weaknesses, insults, distresses, persecutions, and difficulties.” Why does he say this?

If we understand that reason, we will neither boast in our own strength or financial growth, nor will we lose heart when we face weakness, sickness, or suffering.

When everything is comfortable—good health, financial stability, and a smooth life—we often tend to forget God. We begin to believe that our own strength and ability earned everything for us. We fail to value others.

Therefore, God warned the people of Israel through Moses:

“Otherwise, you may say in your heart, ‘My power and the strength of my hand made me this wealth.’ But you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” (Deuteronomy 8:17–18, NASB)

Yes, beloved, God is the One who gives us wealth, comforts, and a life free from disease. But this truth is often realized only in our weakness.

When we have nothing left, when we are unable to meet even our next need, and we cry out to God, we witness His mighty hand working in our lives.

When the doctors give up hope and we suffer from an incurable disease, that is when we pray earnestly—and then experience the miraculous healing power of God. That is why Paul says, “I am well content with weaknesses… for the sake of Christ.”

Apostle Paul, who had received great spiritual revelations and deep experiences with God, said that God allowed a thorn in his flesh so that he would not become proud:

“Because of the extraordinary greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me—to keep me from exalting myself!” (2 Corinthians 12:7, NASB)

Yes, beloved, it is through the thorns that pierce our weak lives that we learn to experience the power and grace of God. If you are troubled today by weakness or distress, God speaks to you the same words He spoke to Paul:

“My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9, NASB)

Therefore, let us gladly boast in our weaknesses so that the power of Christ may dwell in us. Let us lean entirely on the grace of God.
