 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1632                                          ஆதவன் 27.07.2025 ஞாயிறு      

"அந்தப்படி ராகாப் என்னும் வேசியும் தூதர்களை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு வேறுவழியாய் அனுப்பிவிட்டபோது, கிரியைகளினாலே அல்லவோ நீதியுள்ளவளாக்கப்பட்டாள்?" ( யாக்கோபு 2 : 25 )

தேவன்மேல் நாம் விசுவாசமுள்ளவர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொண்டு வெறுமனே ஜெபித்துக்கொண்டிருப்பதில் அர்த்தமில்லை, மாறாக நமது விசுவாசம் அதனோடு சார்ந்த செயலாக வெளிப்படவேண்டியது அவசியம். தேவனை நாம் விசுவாசிக்கின்றோமென்றால் அந்த நமது விசுவாசம் உண்மையானது என்பதனை நாம் தொடர்ந்து எடுக்கும் செயல்பாடுகள்தான் உறுதிப்படுத்தும். 

இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் யோர்தானைக் கடந்து கானான் தேசத்தினுள் நுழையுமுன் அவர்களுக்கு முதலில் சவாலாக இருந்தது எரிகோவின் கோட்டைமதில்தான். அதனைக் கடப்பதற்குமுன் யோசுவா இரண்டு நபர்களை துப்பறிவாளர்களாக அங்கு அனுப்பினார். அவர்களுக்கு ராகாப் எனும் விபச்சாரப்பெண் உதவியாக இருந்தாள். காரணம், அவள் கர்த்தரிடம் விசுவாசமாக இருந்தாள் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. "விசுவாசத்தினாலே ராகாப் என்னும் வேசி வேவுகாரரைச் சமாதானத்தோடே ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு, கீழ்ப்படியாதவர்களோடேகூடச் சேதமாகாதிருந்தாள்." ( எபிரெயர் 11 : 31 )

இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் எகிப்திலிருந்து வெளிவந்தபோது வனாந்தரத்தில் தேவன் அவர்களை வழிநடத்திய அனைத்துச் செயல்பாட்டு  அற்புத அதிசயங்களையும் அவள் கேள்விப்பட்டிருந்தாள். எனவேதான் அவள் கூறுகின்றாள்:-  "நீங்கள் எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டபோது, கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்கு முன்பாக சிவந்த சமுத்திரத்தின் தண்ணீரை வற்றிப்போகப்பண்ணினதையும், நீங்கள் யோர்தானுக்கு அப்புறத்தில் சங்காரம்பண்ணின எமோரியரின் இரண்டு ராஜாக்களாகிய சீகோனுக்கும் ஓகுக்கும் செய்ததையும் கேள்விப்பட்டோம். கேள்விப்பட்டபோது எங்கள் இருதயம் கரைந்துபோயிற்று, உங்களாலே எல்லாருடைய தைரியமும் அற்றுப்போயிற்று; உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரே உயர வானத்திலும் கீழே பூமியிலும் தேவனானவர்." ( யோசுவா 2 : 10, 11 )

மட்டுமல்ல, கானான் தேசத்தை தேவன் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்போகிறார் என்பதனையும் அவள் தனது விசுவாசத்தால் அறிந்திருந்தாள். "கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்கு தேசத்தை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தாரென்றும், உங்களைப்பற்றி எங்களுக்குத் திகில் பிடித்திருக்கிறதென்றும், உங்களைக்குறித்து தேசத்துக் குடிகள் எல்லாரும் சோர்ந்துபோனார்களென்றும் அறிவேன்." ( யோசுவா 2 : 9 ) என்று தனது விசுவாசத்தையும் அறிக்கையிட்டாள். 

எனவே அவள் யோசுவா அனுப்பிய இரண்டு வேவுக்காரரையும் மறைத்து வைத்துக் காப்பாற்றினாள்; அவர்களை ராஜாவின் ஆட்களிடம் அகப்படாதவாறு காப்பாற்றி  வேறு வழியாக அனுப்பிவைத்தாள். இந்தச் செயலினால் அவள் நீதியுள்ளவளாக்கப்பட்டாள்.  எபிரெய நிருப விசுவாசிகளின் பட்டியலில் அவளது பெயர் இடம்பெறவும் இதுவே காரணமாயிற்று.  

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் வெறுமனே தேவனை விசுவாசிப்பது மட்டுமல்ல, ஏற்ற வேளையில் துணிவுடன் நமது விசுவாசத்தை நமது செயல்கள் மூலம்  வெளிப்படுத்துபவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியதும் அவசியம். அதனையே தேவன் விரும்புகின்றார். பிரச்சனைகள் ஏற்படும்போது நமது தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்வில்  விசுவாசத்தை நாம் எப்படி வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றோம் என்பதனை சிந்தித்துப் பார்ப்போம்.   "விசுவாசமில்லாமல்  தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமாயிருப்பது கூடாதகாரியம்" (எபிரெயர் 11:6) 

மேலும், "ஆவியில்லாத சரீரம் செத்ததாயிருக்கிறதுபோல, கிரியைகளில்லாத விசுவாசமும் செத்ததாயிருக்கிறது." ( யாக்கோபு 2 : 26 ) என்று வேதம் நம்மை எச்சரிக்கின்றது.

Scripture Meditation No – 1632

AATHAVAN – Sunday, 27.07.2025

"Likewise, also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?" — James 2:25

It is not enough to merely say we believe in God and continue to pray passively; our faith must be demonstrated through corresponding actions. If we truly believe in God, then it is our continued obedience and actions that confirm the genuineness of our faith.

Before the people of Israel crossed the Jordan and entered the land of Canaan, their first challenge was the fortified city of Jericho. To prepare, Joshua sent two men as spies into the city. Their safety and success were made possible by a woman named Rahab — a harlot — who helped them. The Scripture testifies that she did this because she had faith in the Lord.

"By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace." — Hebrews 11:31 (KJV)

Rahab had heard of all the miraculous deeds that God had performed for the Israelites during their journey through the wilderness after leaving Egypt. She boldly declared:

"For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed. And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the Lord your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath." — Joshua 2:10-11 (KJV)

Not only that, by faith she also recognized and declared that God was about to give the land of Canaan to the Israelites:

"I know that the Lord hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you." — Joshua 2:9 (KJV)

So, Rahab hid the two spies sent by Joshua and protected them. She sent them away safely by a different route, ensuring they were not caught by the king’s men. Through this act of faith, Rahab was counted as righteous. It is for this very reason that her name appears in the Hall of Faith in the Book of Hebrews.

Dearly beloved, it is not enough to just say we believe in God; it is essential that we express our faith through bold and righteous actions when the situation calls for it. That is what pleases God. When we face personal trials and problems, let us pause to reflect — how do we express our faith?

"But without faith it is impossible to please him." — Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)

Moreover, the Bible warns us clearly: "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." — James 2:26 (KJV)

🦋 Meditation verse - சங்கீதம் 90 : 15 / Psalm 90:15

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1631                                          ஆதவன் 26.07.2025 சனி     

"தேவரீர் எங்களைச் சிறுமைப்படுத்தின நாட்களுக்கும், நாங்கள் துன்பத்தைக் கண்ட வருஷங்களுக்கும் சரியாய் எங்களை மகிழ்ச்சியாக்கும்." ( சங்கீதம் 90 : 15 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் தேவனுடைய மனிதனாகிய மோசேயின் ஜெப விண்ணப்பமாகும். மோசேயின் வாழ்வின் மொத்த நாட்கள் 120 ஆண்டுகள். இந்த ஆண்டுகள் சரியாக நாற்பது நாற்பதாக வகுக்கப்பட்ட நாட்களாகும். முதல் நாற்பது ஆண்டுகள் பார்வோனின் மகளின் மகனாக அரண்மனை வாழ்வு. அடுத்து நாற்பது ஆண்டுகள் வனாந்தரத்தில் ஆடுமேய்க்கும் துன்பத்தின் நாட்கள். இறுதி நாற்பது ஆண்டுகள் தேவனோடு நடந்து இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை நடத்திய நாட்கள். 

ஆடுமேய்ப்பவராக வாழ்ந்தபோது மட்டுமல்ல, இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை வனாந்தரத்தில் நடத்திய நாற்பது ஆண்டுகளும்கூட  மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களது கடின மனதினாலும் அடங்காத குணத்தினாலும்  துன்பத்தை அனுபவிக்கவேச்  செய்தார். ஆனாலும்  தேவனோடு நடக்கும் உன்னதமான ஆவிக்குரிய அனுபவங்களைப் பெற்றார்.  தேவனோடு நடந்தார்; தேவனை முகமுகமாய்க் காணும் பேறுபெற்றார்.  "தேவரீர் எங்களைச் சிறுமைப்படுத்தின நாட்களுக்கும், நாங்கள் துன்பத்தைக் கண்ட வருஷங்களுக்கும் சரியாய் எங்களை மகிழ்ச்சியாக்கும்." எனும் அவரது விண்ணப்பத்தின்படி தேவன் அவரை ஆவிக்குரிய மகிழ்ச்சியால் நிறைத்து நடத்தினார்.  

ஒருவேளை நமது வாழ்வு இன்று சிறுமைப்படுத்தப்பட்ட வாழ்வாக இருக்கலாம்; துன்பங்களை அனுபவிக்கும் வாழ்வாக இருக்கலாம்; மற்றவர்களைப்போன்ற மேலான செல்வ ஆசீர்வாதங்களோ, வேலைவாய்ப்போ இல்லாமலிருக்கலாம். ஆனால் என்றுமே அவ்வாறு இருக்குமென்று நாம் கலங்கிடத் தேவையில்லை. அவற்றைக்குறித்து கலங்கிடாமல் மோசேயைப்போல, "ஆண்டவரே எங்களைச்  சிறுமைப்படுத்தின நாட்களுக்கும், நாங்கள் துன்பத்தைக் கண்ட வருஷங்களுக்கும் சரியாய் எங்களை மகிழ்ச்சியாக்கும்." என நாம் ஜெபிக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

பல  குடும்பங்களில் ஒரு தலைமுறை பாடு அனுபவித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும். ஆனால் பின்நாட்களில் குழந்தைகள் படித்து நல்ல நிலைக்கு வரும்போது பழைய பாடுகள், துன்பங்கள் மறைந்துவிடும். அந்தக் குடும்பம் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கும். இது இயற்கை. ஆனால் எந்த நம்பிக்கையுமற்ற வேளைகளில் பாடுகளிலிருந்து விடுதலை பெற வாய்ப்பே இல்லாத சூழ்நிலைகளில் தேவன் சிலருக்கு உதவி பழைய துன்ப வாழ்க்கையினை மாற்றுவார்; அவர்களது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வையும் மாற்றுவார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவன் ஒருவரை ஆசீர்வதிக்குமுன் முதலில் அவரது தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்வை மாற்றிட விரும்புகின்றார். அதாவது, உலக ஆசீர்வாதத்துக்குமுன் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வு மேம்படவேண்டுமென்று தேவன் விரும்புகின்றார். எனவே முதலில் நமது வாழ்வை அவர் சீர்ப்படுத்தி, ஸ்திரப்படுத்தி, பலப்படுத்தி, பின்னர் நிலைநிறுத்துவார். இத்தகைய  நிலைநிறுத்துதலுக்குப்பின் வரும் தேவ ஆசீர்வாதமான நாட்களே மெய்யான மகிழ்ச்சிக்குரியதாக்கும். மோசேயை தேவன் இப்படியே நிலைநிறுத்தினார்.

இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு  "கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் நம்மைத் தமது நித்திய மகிமைக்கு அழைத்தவராயிருக்கிற சகல கிருபையும் பொருந்திய தேவன்தாமே கொஞ்சக்காலம் பாடநுபவிக்கிற உங்களைச் சீர்ப்படுத்தி, ஸ்திரப்படுத்தி, பலப்படுத்தி, நிலைநிறுத்துவாராக" ( 1 பேதுரு 5 : 10 ) என்கின்றார். 

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, துன்பங்கள் சோதனைகள் நமக்கு மகிழ்ச்சிக் குறைவினைக் கொண்டுவந்தாலும் சோர்ந்துபோகாமல் தேவனையே பற்றிக்கொண்டு மோசேயைப்போல வேண்டுதல் செய்வோம். நமது வாழ்வை அவருக்கு ஏற்புடையதாக மாற்றிட முயலுவோம். அப்போது அவர் நம்மைச் சிறுமைப்படுத்தின நாட்களுக்கும், நாம்  துன்பத்தைக் கண்ட வருஷங்களுக்கும் சரியாய் மகிழ்ச்சியாக்குவார். நமது வாழ்வு மெய்யான ஆசீர்வாதம் பெற்ற வாழ்வாக அமையும்.

"Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil." — Psalm 90:15

Today's meditation verse is a prayerful plea from Moses, the man of God. Moses lived 120 years, and his life can be clearly divided into three stages of forty years each. The first forty years were spent in the palace, as the son of Pharaoh's daughter. The next forty years were marked by hardship as a shepherd in the wilderness. The final forty years were lived walking with God and leading the people of Israel through the desert.

Moses did not only endure hardship during his years as a shepherd, but even in the final forty years, while leading the Israelites, he faced great distress due to their hardened hearts and constant disobedience. Yet in the midst of all this, he received glorious spiritual experiences—he walked with God and had the blessed privilege of seeing God face to face.

As per his prayer—"Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil"—God filled Moses with spiritual joy and led him through life.

Perhaps your life today feels diminished. Maybe you're going through pain, lacking the wealth, blessings, or employment others enjoy. But we need not despair or be disheartened. Like Moses, let us pray earnestly:

"Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil."

In many families, one generation suffers for the benefit of the next. When the children grow up, receive education, and rise to good positions, the past struggles and hardships are forgotten. Joy fills the family again. This is natural. Yet in moments when there seems to be no hope, and no way to escape suffering, God often steps in and transforms the old life of pain—He revives their spiritual life as well.

Yes, beloved, before God blesses a person outwardly, He first desires to transform their inner life. In other words, before worldly blessings, God seeks to deepen our spiritual growth. He first reforms us, strengthens us, and establishes us. Only then does He give enduring blessings—those that bring true and lasting joy. This is exactly how He established Moses.

This is affirmed by the Apostle Peter, who said:

"But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you." — 1 Peter 5:10 (KJV)

Therefore, dear ones, even if trials and sufferings seem to take away our joy, let us not lose heart. Let us cling to God and, like Moses, present our pleas to Him. Let us strive to live lives pleasing to Him. Then He shall surely make us glad according to the days of our affliction and the years we have seen evil. Our lives shall be truly blessed.

🦋 Meditation verse - சங்கீதம் 121 : 1 / Psalm 121:1

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1630                                          ஆதவன் 25.07.2025 வெள்ளி         

"எனக்கு ஒத்தாசை வரும் பர்வதங்களுக்கு நேராக என் கண்களை ஏறெடுக்கிறேன்." ( சங்கீதம் 121 : 1 )

இந்த உலகத்தில் நமக்கு உதவிகள் தேவைப்படும்போது சில  நேரங்களில், "நான் இந்தக் காரியத்தில் அவரைத்தான் மலைபோல நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்" என்று கூறுவதுண்டு. அதாவது அந்த நபர் நமக்கு உதவுவார் என்று நிச்சயமாக நாம் நம்பியிருக்கின்றோம் என்று பொருள். மலை உறுதியானது, உயரமானது, யாரும் எளிதில் அசைக்க முடியாதது. அதுபோல அந்த மனிதர்கள் நமக்கு உதவுவார்கள் என்று நாம் உறுதியாக நம்பிக்கொண்டிருப்போம். மட்டுமல்ல, மலையானது நமக்கு மிகப்பெரிய பாதுகாப்பு அரணாகவும் இருக்கின்றது. நமது இந்திய நாட்டிற்குக்கூட வடக்கிலுள்ள இமயமலை மிகப்பெரிய பாதுகாப்பு அரணாக இருக்கின்றது. 

இப்படி நாம் நமக்கு உதவிக்காக பல்வேறு நபர்களை மலைபோல நம்பிக்கொண்டிருக்கலாம். அவர்கள் நமக்கு உண்மையாக உதவுபவர்களாகவும் இருக்கலாம். ஆனால், சில வேளைகளில் சூழ்நிலைகள் மாறி அவர்கள் நமக்கு உதவிட முடியாத நிலைகளை உருவாக்கிவிடலாம். நமக்கு வேண்டியவர்கள் ஆட்சி அதிகாரத்தில் இருப்பவர்களாக இருந்தாலும்கூட  சூழ்நிலைகள் மாறும்போது அவர்களால் நமக்கு உதவி செய்ய இயலாமல் போய்விடும். 

எனவேதான் சங்கீத ஆசிரியர் கூறுகின்றார், "மனுஷனை நம்புவதைப்பார்க்கிலும், கர்த்தர் பேரில் பற்றுதலாயிருப்பதே நலம். பிரபுக்களை நம்புவதைப்பார்க்கிலும் கர்த்தர் பேரில் பற்றுதலாயிருப்பதே நலம்." ( சங்கீதம் 118 : 8, 9 )

மேலும், எருசலேம் நகரைச் சுற்றிலும் மலைகள் பாதுகாப்பு அரண்போல இருப்பதுபோல, கர்த்தர் நமக்குப் பாதுகாப்பு அரணாக இருக்கின்றார்.   நாம் கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு ஏற்றவர்களாக வாழ்வோமானால் நாமே அவரது பரிசுத்த எருசலேம் நகராக இருக்கின்றோம். அவர் நமக்குள் வந்து தங்குகின்றார். அப்படி நாம் வாழும்போது, "பர்வதங்கள் எருசலேமைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்குமாப்போல், கர்த்தர் இதுமுதல் என்றென்றைக்கும் தம்முடைய ஜனத்தைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிறார்." ( சங்கீதம் 125 : 2 ) எனும் வசனத்தின்படி அவர் நமக்கும் நமது குடும்பத்துக்கும் பாதுகாப்பு அரணாக இருப்பார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமக்கு ஒத்தாசை வரும் மலைபோல அசையாமல் மாறாமல் இருப்பவர் கர்த்தர் மட்டுமே. சூழ்நிலைகளோ, நேரமோ, காலமோ அவரை மாற்றமுடியாது.  அவர் கொடுத்துள்ள வாக்குறுதிகள் நித்திய காலத்துக்குமானவைகள். கொடுத்த வாக்குறுதிகளை மாற்றிட மனிதர்களைப்போல அவர் உண்மையற்றவரல்ல. "நாம் உண்மையில்லாதவர்களாய் இருந்தாலும், அவர் உண்மையுள்ளவராயிருக்கிறார்; அவர் தம்மைத்தாம் மறுதலிக்கமாட்டார்." ( 2 தீமோத்தேயு 2 : 13 )

எனவே, கர்த்தரே நமக்கு மிகப்பெரிய நம்பிக்கை மலையாக இருக்கின்றார்; அவரே நமக்கு ஒத்தாசையாக இருக்கின்றார். அவரை நோக்கி நமது கண்களை ஏறெடுத்துப் பார்க்கும்போது அவரது உதவி நமக்குக் கிடைக்கும். மனிதர்களை நோக்கியல்ல; கர்த்தரையே நோக்கி  நமது கண்களை ஏறெடுப்போம். நமக்கு ஒத்தாசை அவரிடமிருந்து மட்டுமே வரும். 

பிரச்சனைகள், துன்பங்கள் நெருக்கும்போது எதிர்மறையான எண்ணம்கொண்டு விசுவாசத்தில் பலவீனமடைந்து பிற தெய்வங்களையோ பிற மத நம்பிக்கைகளையோ நாம் பின்பற்றிடாமல் உறுதியான மனதுடன் கர்த்தரையே கிட்டிச் சேர்வோம். மலைபோன்ற அவரை உறுதியான விசுவாசத்தோடு அண்டிக்கொள்வோம்.  அப்படி வாழ்வோமானால், "மலைகள்  விலகினாலும், பர்வதங்கள் நிலைபெயர்ந்தாலும், என் கிருபை உன்னைவிட்டு விலகாமலும், என் சமாதானத்தின் உடன்படிக்கை நிலைபெயராமலும் இருக்கும் என்று, உன்மேல் மனதுருகுகிற கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்". (ஏசாயா 54:10) என்று கூறியுள்ளபடி அவரது கிருபை நம்மைவிட்டு விலக்கிடாமல் இருக்கும்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1630

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.” — Psalm 121:1 (KJV)

At times when we are in need of help, we often say, “I looked up to him like a mountain for support.” This means we firmly believed that the person would certainly help us. A mountain is firm, tall, and unshakable. In the same way, we may consider some people as our solid support, believing that they will come to our aid. Not only that, mountains serve as great natural fortresses. Even for our country, the Himalayas in the north stand as a strong natural defense.

Likewise, we may trust many individuals as our mountains of help. And some of them may indeed be faithful to help us. But there are times when circumstances change, and those people—however willing—may become unable to help. Even if they are people in authority or positions of power, when situations shift, their ability to assist us might be hindered.

That’s why the Psalmist declares:

“It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.” — Psalm 118:8–9 (KJV)

Just as the mountains surround Jerusalem and form a strong protective wall, so the Lord surrounds His people as their defense. If we live lives pleasing to Christ, then we ourselves are His holy Jerusalem. He dwells within us. When we live like that, this verse becomes true for us:

“As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.” — Psalm 125:2 (KJV)

Dearly beloved, only the Lord can be our unshakable and unchanging mountain of help. Circumstances, time, and seasons cannot change Him. His promises are eternal. Unlike man, God is not unfaithful to change what He has promised.

“If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.” — 2 Timothy 2:13 (KJV)

Therefore, the Lord is our mighty mountain of confidence and help. When we lift up our eyes toward Him, we will surely receive His help. Let us not lift our eyes to man, but unto the Lord alone. True help comes only from Him.

When we are troubled or oppressed, let us not waver in faith, nor turn to other gods or beliefs. Instead, with firm hearts, let us draw near to the Lord. Let us cling to Him—the mountain that cannot be moved. And if we live like that, His grace will never depart from us, as He has said:

“For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.” — Isaiah 54:10 (KJV)

🦋 Meditation verse - உபாகமம் 7 : 21 / Deuteronomy 7:21

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1629                                           ஆதவன் 24.07.2025 வியாழன்        

"அவர்களைப் பார்த்துப் பயப்படவேண்டாம்; உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்குள்ளே இருக்கிறார், அவர் வல்லமையும் பயங்கரமுமான தேவன்." ( உபாகமம் 7 : 21 )

பயம் நமக்கு ஏற்படக் காரணம் நமது பலவீனம்தான். நாம் நல்ல உடல் நலத்துடன் பலத்துடன் இருக்கும்போது தைரியமாகச் செயல்படுவோம். ஆனால் உடல் பலவீனமாகி நோய்வாய்ப்படும்போது பயம் ஏற்படுகின்றது.  ஒருவேளை இது கொடிய நோயாக இருக்குமோ என்று எண்ணிக் கலங்குகின்றோம். இதுபோலவே, பணப்பற்றாக்குறை ஏற்படும்போதும், நமக்கு எதிராக சிலர் செயல்படும்போதும்  நமக்குள் பயம் ஏற்படுகின்றது. 

ஆனால் இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நமக்குக் கூறுகின்றது, "அவர்களைப் பார்த்துப் பயப்படவேண்டாம்" என்று. நோய்களோ, வறுமையோ,  எதிரிகளோ, எதுவும் நம்மை ஒன்றும் செய்யமுடியாது.  காரணம்,  "உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்குள்ளே இருக்கிறார், அவர் வல்லமையும் பயங்கரமுமான தேவன்." அவர் குறைவுகளை நிறைவாக மாற்றவல்லவர்.

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் ஆராதிக்கும் தேவன் எங்கோ ஆலயத்தில்மட்டும் அடங்கிக்கொண்டு  இருப்பவரல்ல, அவர் நமக்குள் இருந்து செயல்படுபவர், அன்றாடம் நம்மை நடத்துபவர். சர்வலோகத்தையும் படைத்து ஆளும் தேவன் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவாக  நமக்குள் இருப்பது ஒரு மேலான இரகசியம் என்று அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் கூறுகின்றார். "புறஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே விளங்கிய இந்த இரகசியத்திலுள்ள மகிமையின் ஐசுவரியம் இன்னதென்று, தேவன் தம்முடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்தச் சித்தமானார்; கிறிஸ்துவானவர் மகிமையின் நம்பிக்கையாக உங்களுக்குள் இருப்பதே அந்த இரகசியம்." ( கொலோசெயர் 1 : 27 )

அப்படி மகிமையின் நம்பிக்கையாக நமக்குள் இருக்கும் தேவன் எப்படிப்பட்டவர் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின் பிற்பகுதி "அவர் வல்லமையும் பயங்கரமுமான தேவன்"  என்று நமக்கு விளக்குகின்றது. தேவன் அன்பானவர்தான், இரக்கமுள்ளவர்தான் ஆனால் தனது பிள்ளைகளுக்கு எதிரான செயல்களை அவர் சும்மா பார்த்துக்கொண்டு இருக்கமாட்டார். காரணம் நாம் அவரது கண்விழிகளைப்போல இருக்கின்றோம். "உங்களைத் தொடுகிறவன் அவருடைய கண்மணியைத் தொடுகிறான்." ( சகரியா 2 : 8 ) என்று வேதம் கூறுகின்றது. எனவே, நமக்கு எதிரான செயல்பாடுகளுக்கு அவர் பயங்கரமானவராக இருப்பார். 

ஆனால் நாம் நமது பலத்தை உணர்ந்தவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். நமக்குள் இருக்கும் தேவாதி தேவனை நாம் உணர்த்துக்கொள்ள வேண்டியது அவசியம்.  யானைகளைப்பற்றிய  ஒரு உண்மையை இங்கு நினைவுகூருதல் பொருத்தமாக இருக்குமென்று எண்ணுகின்றேன். குட்டி யானைகளை முதலில் சிறிய நாய்களைக்கட்டும் சங்கிலியால் கட்டிவைப்பார்கள். அந்தக் குட்டியானைகள் அந்தக் கட்டுக்கு அடிமையாகிவிடும். அவை வளர்ந்தபின்னர் சற்று பெரிய சங்கிலிகளை வைத்துக் கட்டுவார்கள். யானை நினைத்தால் ஒரே இழுப்பில் அதனை அறுத்து தப்பிவிட முடியும். ஆனால் அதன் மனநிலை அதனை அறுக்கவிடாது. அது முன்பு குட்டியாக இருந்தபோது தன்னால் இயலாது என வாழ்ந்த அடிமை மனநிலையால்  அந்தச் சிறிய கட்டுக்கு அடங்கியே என்றும்  இருக்கும். 

அன்பானவர்களே, தங்களது பலத்தை அறியாத இந்த யானைகளைப்போல அல்லாமல் நாம் நமது பலத்தை உணர்ந்தவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். நமது தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நமக்குள்ளே இருக்கிறார், அவர் வல்லமையும் பயங்கரமுமான தேவன் என்பதனை உணர்ந்துகொள்ளவேண்டும். இதனை நாம் உணர்ந்துகொள்வோமானால் மட்டுமே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுலைப்போல நாமும் "என்னைப் பெலப்படுத்துகிற கிறிஸ்துவினாலே எல்லாவற்றையுஞ்செய்ய எனக்குப் பெலனுண்டு." ( பிலிப்பியர் 4 : 13 ) என்று கூறி பயத்தை மேற்கொண்டவர்களாக வாழ முடியும்.

AATHAVAN - Thursday, 24 July 2025

"Thou shalt not be affrighted at them: for the Lord thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible." (Deuteronomy 7:21, KJV)

The root cause of fear is often our weakness. When we are physically healthy and strong, we act with courage. But when our body becomes weak or afflicted with sickness, fear begins to arise. We become troubled, wondering if it might be a serious illness. Similarly, fear creeps in when we face financial lack or when people act against us.

However, today’s meditation verse tells us, “Be not afraid of them.” Sickness, poverty, or enemies—none of these can ultimately harm us. Why? Because “the Lord thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible.” He is able to turn every lack into abundance.

Yes, beloved, the God we worship is not confined to a distant temple—He is active within us, leading us every day. The apostle Paul describes a glorious mystery: that the Almighty God who created and rules the universe dwells within us in the person of Jesus Christ. Paul writes:

"To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." (Colossians 1:27, KJV)

And what kind of God is He who dwells within us as the hope of glory? Today’s verse describes Him as “a mighty God and terrible.” While God is loving and merciful, He does not passively tolerate actions against His children. For we are as the apple of His eye. The Word says:

"He that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye." (Zechariah 2:8, KJV)

Therefore, against any threat or opposition that comes our way, He reveals Himself as a powerful and fearsome defender.

But it is essential that we live with an awareness of this inner strength. We must recognize and affirm the presence of the Almighty God within us. Let me recall a real-life example about elephants. Baby elephants are often tied with thin chains. Over time, they become conditioned to think they cannot break free. Even when they grow large and strong, they still remain bound, despite being able to snap the chain with one pull. Their learned helplessness keeps them in bondage to a limitation that no longer applies.

Beloved, we must not be like those elephants—unaware of our strength. Instead, let us live knowing who we are and who lives in us. Let us be fully conscious of the truth: “The Lord thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible.” Only when we grasp this can we, like the apostle Paul, boldly declare: "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."(Philippians 4:13, KJV)

Let us live not in fear—but in the courage and power that comes from Christ within us.

🦋 Meditation verse - எபிரெயர் 10 : 29 / Hebrews 10:29

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1628                                          ஆதவன் 23.07.2025 புதன்        

"தேவனுடைய குமாரனைக் காலின் கீழ் மிதித்து, தன்னைப் பரிசுத்தஞ்செய்த உடன்படிக்கையின் இரத்தத்தை அசுத்தமென்றெண்ணி, கிருபையின் ஆவியை நிந்திக்கிறவன் எவ்வளவு கொடிதான ஆக்கினைக்குப் பாத்திரவானாயிருப்பான் என்பதை யோசித்துப்பாருங்கள்." ( எபிரெயர் 10 : 29 )

நாம் தேவனுடைய கிருபையால் இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம். இதனை "கிருபையினாலே விசுவாசத்தைக் கொண்டு இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டீர்கள்; இது உங்களால் உண்டானதல்ல, இது தேவனுடைய ஈவு" ( எபேசியர் 2 : 8 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல். இந்தக் கிருபையின் ஆவியை நிந்திக்கிறவன் எவ்வளவு கொடிதான ஆக்கினைக்குப் பாத்திரவானாயிருப்பான் என்பதை யோசித்துப்பாருங்கள் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

அதாவது இந்த வசனம் கிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தத்தினால் உண்டாகும் மீட்பு அனுபவத்தை நாம்  நம்பாமல் புறக்கணிக்கக் கூடாது என்பதையும் அதனை நம்பி ஏற்றுக்கொண்டபின்னர்  ஆவிக்குரிய பின்மாற்ற மனநிலை நமக்கு ஏற்படக்கூடாது என்பதையும் உணர்த்துகின்றது. மட்டுமல்ல,  அப்படி பின்மாற்றமடைவது தேவனுடைய குமாரனைக் காலின் கீழ் மிதித்து அவமானப்படுத்துவது போன்றது என்று எச்சரிக்கின்றது. இதனையே ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும், "கலப்பையின்மேல் தன் கையை வைத்துப் பின்னிட்டுப்பார்க்கிற எவனும் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்துக்குத் தகுதியுள்ளவன் அல்ல என்றார்." ( லுூக்கா 9: 62)

தேவனுடைய பாதையில் நடக்க விரும்புவதை இங்கு இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கலப்பையில் கைவைத்து உழுகின்ற விவசயிக்கு ஒப்பிட்டு விளக்குகின்றார். ஒரு விவசாயி கலப்பையினை முன்னோக்கிச் செலுத்தி உழவேண்டுமேத் தவிர உழுவதற்குத் தயாரானபின்னர் பின்நோக்கிப் பார்க்கக்கூடாது. அத்தகைய எண்ணமுள்ளவன் தனக்கு உகந்தவன் அல்ல என்கின்றார் இயேசு. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவனுடைய ராஜ்ஜியத்துக்கு நாம் தகுதியுள்ளவர்கள் ஆகவேண்டுமானால் பின்னிட்டுப்பார்க்காத ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். நமது கடந்த காலத்தை நாம் முற்றிலும் மறந்துவிடவேண்டும் என்பது இதன் பொருளல்ல, மாறாக கடந்த கால பாவ வாழ்க்கையினை அந்த வாழ்க்கைக்  கொடுத்த பாவ சந்தோஷத்தை நாம் திரும்பிப்பார்க்கக் கூடாது என்று பொருள். 

நாம் நமது கடந்த கால வாழ்கையினையும் அதன் பாடுகளையும் அவற்றிலிருந்து தேவன் நம்மை  மீட்டு புது வாழ்க்கைத் தந்துள்ளதையும் எண்ணி அவருக்கு நன்றிகூறவேண்டுமேத்  தவிர பழைய வாழ்கைக்குத் திரும்பிச் செல்ல ஆசைப்படக்கூடாது. அப்படிப் பின்னோக்கிச் செல்வது அவரது இரத்தத்தை அவமதிப்பது என்று பொருள்.

இத்தகைய பின்னோக்கிச் செல்லும் வாழ்க்கையினை பன்றிக்கும் நாய்க்கும் ஒப்பிட்டு அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு கூறுகின்றார்:-"அவர்கள் நீதியின் மார்க்கத்தை அறிந்தபின்பு தங்களுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட பரிசுத்த கற்பனையை விட்டு விலகுவதைப்பார்க்கிலும் அதை அறியாதிருந்தார்களானால் அவர்களுக்கு நலமாயிருக்கும். நாய் தான் கக்கினதைத் தின்னவும், கழுவப்பட்ட பன்றி சேற்றிலே புரளவும் திரும்பினது என்று சொல்லப்பட்ட மெய்யான பழமொழியின்படியே அவர்களுக்குச் சம்பவித்தது." (2 பேதுரு 2: 21, 22)

இன்று ஆங்காங்கே நடைபெறும் பல்வேறு ஆவிக்குரிய கூட்டங்களில் கலந்துகொண்டு தேவ வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டு பலர் கிறிஸ்துவிடம் விசுவாசம் கொண்டு தங்களை அவருக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கின்றனர். ஆனால் அவர்களில் பலரும்  தங்களது நிலைப்பாட்டில் உறுதியாக இருக்க முடிவதில்லை. காரணம், கிறிஸ்து காட்டும் குறுகலான பாதை. அந்தப்பாதையில் தொடர்ந்து நடக்கச் சிரமப்படுவதால் பழைய வாழ்கைக்குச் சென்றுவிடுகின்றனர்; பின்னர் முழுவதும் பழைய வாழ்க்கையையே வாழ்கின்றனர். 

ஆனால் தேவன் இத்தகைய வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வதை விரும்புவதில்லை. அன்பானவர்களே, கிறிஸ்துவை நோக்கி அடியெடுத்துவைத்த காலை நாம் பின் வைக்காமல் தொடர்ந்து அவரது பாதையில் நடக்கவேண்டுமென்பதே கிறிஸ்து விரும்புவது. கிருபையால் அவர் நம்மை இரட்சித்துள்ளார். இந்தத்  தேவ கிருபையினை நாம் புறக்கணிக்கக்கூடாது என்றும் விரும்புகின்றார். நம்மைப் பாவத்திலிருந்து மீட்ட கிறிஸ்துவின் புதிய உடன்படிக்கையின்  பரிசுத்த இரத்தத்தை அசுத்தமென்றெண்ணிடாமல்  ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் தொடர்ந்து நடக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். அப்படித் தொடராமல்  அவரை நிந்திக்கிறவன் எவ்வளவு கொடிதான ஆக்கினைக்குப் பாத்திரவானாயிருப்பான் என்பதை யோசித்துப்பாருங்கள் என்று எச்சரிக்கின்றது இன்றைய தியான வசனம். 

நம்மைப் பரிசுத்தஞ்செய்த உடன்படிக்கையின் இரத்தத்தை அசுத்தமென்றெண்ணிடாமல் வாழ்வோம்; நித்திய  மீட்பு பெறுவோம்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1628

AATHAVAN – Wednesday, 23 July 2025 

“Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden underfoot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?” — Hebrews 10:29 (KJV)

We are saved by the grace of God. As Apostle Paul writes, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.” — Ephesians 2:8 (KJV)

Today’s meditation verse warns us to reflect deeply on how dreadful the punishment would be for one who insults the Spirit of grace. This verse emphasizes two important truths: First, we must not reject the salvation that comes through the blood of Christ. Second, after receiving this salvation, we must not fall back into a spiritually regressive mindset.

Falling away after knowing the truth is likened to trampling the Son of God underfoot and disgracing Him. The Lord Jesus Christ Himself warned:

“No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” — Luke 9:62 (KJV)

Jesus compares the desire to walk in God’s path to a farmer who sets his hand to the plough. A farmer must move forward while ploughing; once he has begun, he should not look back. Jesus says that anyone who looks back is not fit for the kingdom of God.

Dearly beloved, to be worthy of God’s kingdom, we must live a life that does not look back. This doesn’t mean forgetting our past entirely, but rather that we should not look back longingly at the sinful pleasures of our former life. We must not desire to return to that life.

Instead, we should remember our past to thank God for delivering us from it and for giving us a new life. Longing to return to our old life would be to despise the precious blood of Christ.

Apostle Peter speaks about this kind of backsliding in strong terms:

“For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.” — 2 Peter 2:21–22 (KJV)

Today, many people attend spiritual gatherings, listen to God’s Word, and believe in Christ, surrendering themselves to Him. However, many of them do not remain firm in their commitment. Why? Because the path Christ leads us on is narrow. It is challenging to walk consistently on this narrow path, and so some return to their former ways—and soon, they are fully immersed in their old life again.

But God does not desire this kind of life for us.

Beloved, Christ desires that we continue walking on His path without turning back. It is by grace that He has saved us. He does not want us to ignore or reject this divine grace. We must not treat the holy blood of the new covenant, which has redeemed us from sin, as something unclean. Instead, we must walk steadfastly in the Spirit-filled life.

Today’s meditation verse solemnly warns us to consider how much more severe the punishment will be for someone who insults the Spirit of grace. Let us not despise the blood of the covenant by which we have been sanctified, but rather, let us live worthy of eternal redemption.

🦋 Meditation verse - 2 கொரிந்தியர் 8 : 9 / 2 Corinthians 8:9

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1627                                          ஆதவன் 22.07.2025 செவ்வாய்       

"நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் கிருபையை அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்களே; அவர் ஐசுவரியமுள்ளவராயிருந்தும், நீங்கள் அவருடைய தரித்திரத்தினாலே ஐசுவரியவான்களாகும்படிக்கு, உங்கள்நிமித்தம் தரித்திரரானாரே." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 8 : 9 ) 

தங்கள் குழந்தைகள் எதிர்காலத்தில் நல்ல நிலையில் இருக்கவேண்டுமென்பதற்காக தாய் தகப்பன்மார் பல்வேறு உபத்திரவங்களைச் சகிக்கின்றனர். வீடுகளில் வேலைசெய்தும் மிகக் கடுமையான தொழில்களில் ஈடுபட்டும் வரும் பலர் தங்களுக்குக் கிடைக்கும் சிறு வருமானத்திலும் தங்களது ஆசைகளை அடக்கி தங்கள் குழந்தைகளது படிப்புக்காகப் பல்வேறு தியாகங்களைச்  செய்கின்றனர். நாம்தாம் இப்படி ஆகிவிட்டோம் நமது குழந்தைகளாவது எதிர்காலத்தில் நல்ல நிலையில் வரவேண்டுமென்னும் கனவுடன் உழைக்கின்றனர். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இதைவிட மேலானவராக நமது கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும்  இருக்கிறார் என்று இன்றைய வசனம் சொல்கின்றது. அவர் செல்வந்தன்தான். ஆனால் நாம் செல்வந்தர்கள் ஆகவேண்டும் என்பதற்காக; நாம் மீட்கப்பட்டு பரலோகத்தைச் சுதந்தரிக்கவேண்டும் என்பதற்காக அவர் தந்து செல்வ நிலைமையை விட்டுவிட்டு நமக்காக தரித்திரனானார். உலகத்  தாய் தகப்பன்மார் தங்களது இல்லாமையில் தியாகங்கள் செய்கின்றனர். ஆனால் கிறிஸ்துவோ தனது செல்வ நிலையை நமக்காகத் தியாகம் செய்து நம்மைப்போலானார்.   

"அவர் தேவனுடைய ரூபமாயிருந்தும், தேவனுக்குச் சமமாயிருப்பதைக் கொள்ளையாடின பொருளாக எண்ணாமல், தம்மைத்தாமே வெறுமையாக்கி, அடிமையின் ரூபமெடுத்து, மனுஷர் சாயலானார்." ( பிலிப்பியர் 2 : 6,7 ) அடிமை என்பவன் எந்த அடிப்படை மனித உரிமையும் இல்லாதவன். இந்த அண்ட சராசரங்களைப் படைத்து ஆளும் தேவன் ஒரு அடிமையைப்போல ஆனார் என்பதை எண்ணிப்பாருங்கள். எதற்காக? நமக்காக. நாம் மீட்பு பெறவேண்டுமென்பதற்காக.  இந்த விதத்தில் அவரது அன்பு மனிதர்களது அன்பைவிட பல மடங்கு மேலானதல்லவா?  

வறுமையில் பல தியாகங்கள் செய்து சேகரித்தப்  பணத்தில் மகனைப் படிக்கவைக்கும் தாய், அந்த மகன்  வேண்டாத நண்பர்களது சகவாசம்கொண்டு படிக்காமல் தாய் அனுப்பும் பணத்தையும் தாறுமாறாய்ச் செலவழித்தால் எவ்வளவு வேதனைப்படுவாள்? அத்தகைய பெற்றோர்களை நாம் இந்த உலகத்தில் பலவேளைகளில் சந்திக்கின்றோம் அல்லவா?  சமீபத்தில் ஒரு பத்திரிக்கைச் செய்தியில், படிப்புக்காக தான் கொடுக்கும் பணத்தைத் துன்மார்க்கமாய் மகன் செலவளித்ததால் ஒரு தாய் மனம்பொறுக்காமல் தற்கொலை செய்து தனது உயிரை மாய்த்துக்கொண்டாள் என்று வாசித்தேன்.   

அன்பானவர்களே, இன்று பலரும் கிறிஸ்துவின் மீட்பினை அலட்சியம்செய்து உலக ஆசையில் மூழ்கி கிறிஸ்துவை மறுதலித்து வாழும்போது அவர் இதுபோலவேதான்  வேதனைப்படுவார்.  நமக்காகத் தரித்திரரான இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் அன்பை நாம் உணருவோமானால் அவரது விருப்பப்படி வாழ நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம். 

அன்பான இயேசுவே இதனை நாட்களும் உமது மேலான அன்பை உணராமல் அலட்சியமாக வாழ்ந்துவிட்டேன். என்னை மன்னியும். உமக்கு ஏற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழ இன்றே என்னை ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கிறேன்.  என் பாவங்களை மன்னித்து ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும். உமது பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரை எனக்குத் தந்து உமக்கு ஏற்புடைய வழியில் நான் தொடர்ந்து நடக்க எனக்கு உதவி செய்யும் என வேண்டுதல் செய்வோம். 

நாம் எவ்வளவு பெரிய பாவியாக இருந்தாலும் கிறிஸ்து நம்மை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வார். ஏனெனில் அவர் நமக்காகச் செய்த உயிர் தியாகம் வீணாவதை அவர் விரும்பமாட்டார். தனிமையில் கிறிஸ்துவிடம் மனம் திறந்து பேசுங்கள். மேலான தேவ அனுபவத்தை அளித்து நம்மை மகனாக / மகளாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்வார். 

"அவருடைய நாமத்தின்மேல் விசுவாசமுள்ளவர்களாய் அவரை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டவர்கள் எத்தனை பேர்களோ, அத்தனை பேர்களும் தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளாகும்படி, அவர்களுக்கு அதிகாரங்கொடுத்தார்." ( யோவான் 1 : 12 )

Scripture Meditation No. 1627

AATHAVAN – Tuesday, 22 July 2025  

“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” (2 Corinthians 8:9)

Just as parents willingly endure hardships so their children may have a better future, many mothers and fathers take up strenuous jobs, even working as domestic help or in physically demanding labor. Despite their meagre income, they restrain their own desires and make significant sacrifices for their children’s education. Their hope is that though they live in lack, their children might rise to a better status one day.

Dear beloved, today’s Scripture reveals that our Lord Jesus Christ has done something even greater. Though He was rich, for our sake He became poor. Why? So that we might be made rich through His poverty. Christ gave up His heavenly riches to redeem us and make us heirs of heaven. Earthly parents give sacrificially even in their poverty. But Christ, being rich, gave up His glory and became like one of us for our sake.

“Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men.” (Philippians 2:6-7, KJV)

A servant has no basic human rights. Imagine this—the Creator and Ruler of the universe becoming like a servant. Why? For us. So that we may be redeemed. Isn’t such divine love far superior to any human love?

Think of a mother who sends her child to school by saving every rupee, sacrificing personal comfort, only for the child to squander it by falling into bad company. How heartbroken she would be! Haven’t we seen such parents in real life? I recently read a tragic news article about a mother who took her own life because her son wasted the money she gave him for studies on immoral living.

Beloved, when we neglect the salvation offered by Christ and choose to live for the pleasures of this world, our Lord Jesus grieves deeply—just as that mother did. If we truly understand the love of Jesus, who became poor for us, let us surrender ourselves to live according to His will.

Let us pray:

"Dear Jesus, I have lived carelessly, failing to recognize Your immense love. Forgive me. Today, I surrender myself to live a life pleasing unto You. Wash away my sins and accept me. Grant me Your Holy Spirit so I may continue to walk in a way that is acceptable in Your sight."

No matter how great a sinner we are, Christ is ready to accept us. He does not want His sacrifice for us to be in vain. Speak to Him openly in your loneliness. He will grant you a deep spiritual experience and accept you as His son or daughter.

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” (John 1:12, KJV)

🦋 Meditation verse - 1 கொரிந்தியர் 7 : 17 / 1 Corinthians 7:17

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1626                                           ஆதவன் 21.07.2025 திங்கள்             

"தேவன் அவனவனுக்குப் பகிர்ந்ததெப்படியோ, கர்த்தர் அவனவனை அழைத்ததெப்படியோ, அப்படியே அவனவன் நடக்கக்கடவன். எல்லாச் சபைகளிலேயும் இப்படியே திட்டம்பண்ணுகிறேன்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 7 : 17 )

தேவன் நம் ஒவ்வொருவரையும் ஒவ்வொருவிதமாகவும் வெவ்வேறு நோக்கத்துக்காகவும் படைத்துள்ளார்.  எனவே, நமக்கு நியமிக்கப்பட்டப்  பணியை அறிந்து அதனை நாம் சிறப்பாகச் செய்யவேண்டும். இதுவே தேவனது சித்தம். ஆனால் நம்மில் பலரும் மற்றவர்களோடு தங்களை ஒப்பிட்டு வாழ்பவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர்.  இப்படி ஒப்பிடாமல்,  அவனவனுக்குப் பகிர்ந்ததெப்படியோ, கர்த்தர் அவனவனை அழைத்ததெப்படியோ, அப்படியே அவனவன் நடக்கக்கடவன் என்கின்றார் பவுல்.  

இதனை அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் உடலின் உறுப்புகளைக்கொண்டு "நீங்களே கிறிஸ்துவின் சரீரமாயும், தனித்தனியே அவயவங்களாயுமிருக்கிறீர்கள்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 12 : 27 ) என்று கூறியுள்ளதை நாம் அறிவோம். எல்லா உறுப்புகளும் ஒரே வேலையைச் செய்வதில்லை. அதுபோல நம்மிலும் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் தேவனால் நியமிக்கப்பட்டப்  பணிகள் உண்டு. 

இன்று ஆவிக்குரிய காரியங்களிலும், உலகக் காரியங்களிலும் பலர் மற்றவர்களையேக்  கவனித்து அவர்களைபோலத் தாங்களும் மாறவேண்டுமென்றும் எண்ணிக்கொண்டு செயல்படுகின்றனர். இதுவே போட்டிகளும் பொறாமைகளும் எழுவதற்குக் காரணமாக இருக்கின்றது. இதனை நாம் தவிர்க்கவேண்டுமென்று அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் கூறுகின்றார். எனவேதான் அவர், "அவனவனுக்குப் பகிர்ந்ததெப்படியோ, கர்த்தர் அவனவனை அழைத்ததெப்படியோ, அப்படியே அவனவன் நடக்கக்கடவன்" என்று குறிப்பிடுகின்றார். 

இன்று கிறிஸ்தவ சமூகத்தில் காப்பியடித்தல் பல்வேறு விதங்களில் நடைபெற்றுக்கொண்டிருப்பதை நாம் காணலாம். குறிப்பாக கிறிஸ்தவ ஊழியங்களில் இது அதிகமாக  நடைபெற்றுக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றது.  நான் சாத்தான்குளத்தில் பணியாற்றியபோது ஒரு சகோதரனை எனக்கு ஒருவர் அறிமுகப்படுத்தினார். அவர் முதல்முதல் தன்னைபற்றி என்னிடம்  கூறிய வார்த்தைகள், "பிரதர், நான் DGS தினகரனைப்போலவே பாடுவேன்" என்பதுதான். ஆம், பிரபல ஊழியர்களைக் காப்பியடித்து அவர்களைப்போல பேசவும் பாடவும்  முயலுதல் பெருமையாக எண்ணப்படுகின்றது. ஆனால் அதுவே  இன்று கிறிஸ்தவ ஊழியங்களில் சாபக்கேடாக இருக்கின்றதை நாம் காணலாம். கிறிஸ்து இப்படி ஊழியர்களைக் காப்பியடிக்கக் கூறவில்லை. நாம் பின்பற்றவேண்டிய ஒரே மாதிரி கிறிஸ்துதான். 

"நீங்களே கிறிஸ்துவின் சரீரமாயும், தனித்தனியே அவயவங்களாயுமிருக்கிறீர்கள்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 12 : 27 ) எனவே உங்களுக்குரிய கிறிஸ்தவ  கடமைகளை மட்டும் செய்யுங்கள் என்கின்றார் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர். மற்ற உறுப்புக்கள் செய்யும் பணியைச் செய்ய நாம் தேவையில்லை. 

இதுபோலவே மற்றவர்களுக்குரிய சொத்துக்கள்,  நகைகள், ஆடைகள் பதவிகள் போன்று நமக்கு இல்லையே  என்று கவலைப்பட்டு கலங்கும் மக்களும் உண்டு. இத்தகைய கவலை இருக்குமானால் நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் வளரவில்லை என்று பொருள். மட்டுமல்ல, இத்தகைய எண்ணமுள்ள ஆணும் பெண்ணும் ஆவிக்குரிய மேலான அனுபவங்களைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளவும் முடியாது. 

இவற்றை நாம் விட்டுவிடவேண்டுமானால், அமர்ந்திருந்து தேவன் நமக்குக் கொடுத்துள்ள நன்மைகளை எண்ணிப்பார்த்து அவற்றுக்கு நன்றிகூறப் பழகிடவேண்டும். அப்போது மட்டுமே தேவன் நம்மை ஆசீர்வதிக்கமுடியும். மேலும், கம்யூனிஸ்டுகள் மற்றும் விடுதலை இறையியல் சிந்தனையாளர்கள் விரும்புவதுபோல மேடுபள்ளங்கள் இல்லாத சமத்துவ சமுதாயம் நாட்டில் என்றைக்குமே மலர்ந்திட முடியாது. இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும் அப்படி ஒரு சமுதாயத்தை உருவாக்கிட  உலகினில் வரவில்லை. மேடும்-பள்ளமும், இருளும்-வெளிச்சமும், குட்டையும்-நெட்டையும் இயற்கை. அவை இருப்பதால்தான் உலகம் இயங்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றது. உதாரணமாக, உலக நிலப்பரப்பு மேடுபள்ளமற்ற  சமபூமியாகுமானால் முழுவதும் கடல்நீரால் நிறைந்து அழிந்து விடும். 

"எல்லா மனுஷரும் என்னைப்போலவே இருக்க விரும்புகிறேன். ஆகிலும் அவனவனுக்கு தேவனால் அருளப்பட்ட அவனவனுக்குரிய வரமுண்டு; அது ஒருவனுக்கு ஒருவிதமாயும், மற்றொருவனுக்கு வேறுவிதமாயும் இருக்கிறது." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 7 : 7 ) என்கின்றார் பவுல். அதாவது அவரது ஆசை எல்லோரும் அவரைப்போல மாறவேண்டும் என்பது. ஆனால் அவரே கூறுகின்றார்,  "அவனவனுக்கு தேவனால் அருளப்பட்ட அவனவனுக்குரிய வரமுண்டு; அது ஒருவனுக்கு ஒருவிதமாயும், மற்றொருவனுக்கு வேறுவிதமாயும் இருக்கிறது." என்று. ஆம் அதுதான் தேவ சித்தம். 

எனவே, மற்றவர்களைப் பார்க்காமல், காப்பியடிக்காமல், தேவன் நமக்குப் பகிர்ந்ததெப்படியோ, அவர் நம்மை அழைத்ததெப்படியோ, அப்படியே நடப்போம். நமக்கு அவர் தந்த அளவுக்குத்தான் நம்மிடம் அவர் இறுதிநாளில் கனக்குக் கேட்பார்.  "அறியாதவனாயிருந்து, அடிகளுக்கு ஏதுவானவைகளைச் செய்தவனோ, சில அடிகள் அடிக்கப்படுவான். எவனிடத்தில் அதிகங்கொடுக்கப்படுகிறதோ அவனிடத்தில் அதிகங்கேட்கப்படும்" ( லுூக்கா 12 : 48 ) என்கின்றார் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. 

எனவே, மற்றவர்களை நோக்காமல், பொறாமை கொள்ளாமல்  "கர்த்தர் அவனவனை அழைத்ததெப்படியோ, அப்படியே அவனவன் நடக்கக்கடவன்." தேவன் நமக்குக் கொடுத்துள்ள தாலந்துகளை பயனுள்ளவையாகப் பயன்படுத்துவோம்.

“But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.” — 1 Corinthians 7:17 (KJV)

God has created each of us uniquely and for a distinct purpose. Therefore, it is essential that we understand the task appointed to us and do it faithfully. This is God’s will. Yet, many of us tend to live by comparing ourselves with others. The apostle Paul instructs us not to compare, but to walk "as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called everyone."

Paul also explains this concept using the analogy of a body and its parts: “Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.” — 1 Corinthians 12:27 (KJV)

Not every part of the body performs the same function. Likewise, each of us has a specific role appointed by God.

In both spiritual and worldly matters today, many are preoccupied with imitating others, striving to become like them. This spirit of comparison gives rise to envy and unhealthy competition. Paul warns us to avoid this tendency. That’s why he insists, “So let him walk…”—meaning, walk in the calling and gifting God has given you.

This habit of imitation is sadly very common in the Christian community today—especially in ministry. I recall an incident during my time serving in Sathankulam. A brother was introduced to me, and the very first thing he said was, “Brother, I sing just like DGS Dhinakaran.” Yes, it is often considered a great achievement to imitate famous ministers—mimicking their voice, speech, and style. But such mimicry has become a curse in ministry. Christ never asked His ministers to copy each other. The only model we are to follow is Christ Himself.

“Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.” — 1 Corinthians 12:27 (KJV)

Therefore, Paul exhorts us to simply carry out our individual Christian duties. We don’t need to perform the tasks assigned to other members.

Likewise, some people become disheartened when they don’t possess the wealth, jewellery, clothing, or status that others have. If such thoughts dominate our minds, it is a sign that we are not growing spiritually. In fact, such individuals will never be able to receive higher spiritual experiences.

To overcome this mindset, we must sit quietly, count the blessings God has already given us, and cultivate a spirit of gratitude. Only then can God bless us more abundantly.

Moreover, the egalitarian society that communists and liberation theologians dream of—one without hierarchy—can never exist in reality. Jesus Christ did not come to establish such a structureless society either. Hills and valleys, light and darkness, short and tall—these are natural and essential contrasts that keep the world functioning. For instance, if the earth were completely flat, it would be submerged entirely in seawater and perish.

“For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.” — 1 Corinthians 7:7 (KJV)

Paul expresses his desire that everyone might be like him in devotion and service. Yet he recognizes that God has given each person a unique gift, distinct from others. This is the divine will.

So, let us stop looking at others or imitating them. Let us walk as God has distributed to each of us, and as He has called us. On the final day, God will only ask us to account for what He entrusted to us.

“…For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required…”— Luke 12:48 (KJV)

Let us not be envious or distracted by others. Instead, let us walk faithfully in our divine calling and make fruitful use of the talents God has given us.
