🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 60 : 20 / Isaiah 60:20

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1625                                          ஆதவன் 20.07.2025 ஞாயிறு            

"உன் சூரியன் இனி அஸ்தமிப்பதுமில்லை; உன் சந்திரன் மறைவதுமில்லை; கர்த்தரே உனக்கு நித்திய வெளிச்சமாயிருப்பார்; உன் துக்கநாட்கள் முடிந்துபோகும்." ( ஏசாயா 60 : 20 )

தேவனை அறியாத இருளின் வாழ்க்கையினை வாழ்ந்து துக்கமும் சோகமும் அனுபவித்த நாம் அவரை அறியும்போது அவரது வியத்தகு ஒளியினிடம் வருகின்றோம். நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துதான் அந்த வியத்தகு ஒளியான மெய்யான தேவன். எனவேதான், நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவோடு வாழ்ந்து அவரை முற்றிலும் அறிந்த அவரது  சீடனான யோவான் அவரைக்குறித்து எழுதும்போது, "உலகத்திலே வந்து எந்த மனுஷனையும் பிரகாசிப்பிக்கிற ஒளியே அந்த மெய்யான ஒளி.' ( யோவான் 1 : 9 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார்.

"எந்த மனுஷனையும் பிரகாசிப்பிக்கிற ஒளி" என்று அவர் கூறுவதால் அவர் ஜாதி, மதம், இனம், நாடுகளுக்கு அப்பாற்பட்டு எந்த மனிதனையும் ஒளிர்விக்க வல்லவர் என்று அவர் கூறுகின்றார். அந்த ஒளியான இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை நமது வாழ்வில் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போது நம்மிலிருக்கும் இருள் மறைகின்றது; ஒளி நம்மில் பிரகாசிக்கின்றது. சூரியனும் சந்திரனும் ஒளிகொடுக்க குறிப்பிட்ட கால நேரங்கள் உண்டு. ஆனால் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து குறிப்பிட்டக்  கால நேரத்துக்கல்ல, நித்திய காலத்துக்கும் நமது வாழ்வில் அவர் வெளிச்சமாயிருப்பார். 

மட்டுமல்ல, இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது, "உன் துக்கநாட்கள் முடிந்துபோகும்" என்று. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இன்று ஒருவேளை இதனை வாசிக்கும் உங்களது வாழ்க்கை இருளானதாகத் தெரியலாம். எந்த நம்பிக்கையுமற்ற எதிர்காலம் உங்களை அச்சுறுத்தலாம். ஆனால் அவற்றைப் பார்க்காமல் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை நோக்கிப்பார்த்து அவருக்கு உங்களை ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கும்போது இந்த வியத்தகு ஒளி உங்களைச் சூழ்ந்துகொள்ளும். அந்த நம்பிக்கையின் ஒளி உங்கள் வாழ்க்கையில் வந்துவிட்டால் அது அஸ்தமிப்பதுமில்லை; மறைவதுமில்லை. அது நித்திய வெளிச்சமாயிருக்கும். இதுவரை வேதனைப்படுத்தி வந்த துக்கநாட்கள் முடிந்துபோகும். 

மேலும், நாம் மனம்திரும்பி அவருக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கும்போது நமது பழைய நெகிழப்பட்ட, கைவிடப்பட்ட வாழ்க்கை முற்றிலும் அகன்றுவிடும். அதனையே அவர் ஏசாயா மூலம், "நீ நெகிழப்பட்டதும், கைவிடப்பட்டதும், ஒருவரும் கடந்து நடவாததுமாயிருந்தாய்; ஆனாலும் உன்னை நித்திய மாட்சிமையாகவும், தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாயிருக்கும் மகிழ்ச்சியாகவும் வைப்பேன்." ( ஏசாயா 60 : 15 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

வேத வசனங்கள் வெறுமனே வசித்து மறந்துவிடுவதற்கானவை அல்ல; மாறாக அவை நமது வாழ்வில் பலிக்கக்கூடிய உண்மையுள்ள வார்த்தைகள். அவை உயிருள்ள கடவுளின் வாயிலிருந்து வெளிவரும் வார்த்தைகள். அவற்றை விசுவாசித்து ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போது அவை நமது வாழ்வில் அற்புதங்களைக் கொண்டுவரும்.

எந்தவிதமான பாடுகள், கவலைகள், துக்கங்கள், பிரச்சனைகள் இருந்தாலும் அவற்றை அவரிடம் விட்டுவிடுவோம். அவருக்கேற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழ உறுதியேற்போம். நம் ஒவ்வொருவருக்காகவும் அவர் ஆவலுடன் காத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார். நமது இருதயத்தில் வந்து தங்கிட இருதயத்தின் அருகிலேயே நின்றுகொண்டிருக்கிறார். அவருக்குக் கதவைத் திறக்கவேண்டியதுதான் நாம் செய்யவேண்டியது. "இதோ, வாசற்படியிலே நின்று தட்டுகிறேன்; ஒருவன் என் சத்தத்தைக்கேட்டு, கதவைத் திறந்தால், அவனிடத்தில் நான் பிரவேசித்து, அவனோடே போஜனம்பண்ணுவேன், அவனும் என்னோடே போஜனம்பண்ணுவான்." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 3 : 20 ) என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். 

நமது பாவங்களை அவரிடம் அறிக்கையிட்டு மன்னிப்பை வேண்டுவோம். "நம்முடைய பாவங்களை நாம் அறிக்கையிட்டால், பாவங்களை நமக்கு மன்னித்து எல்லா அநியாயத்தையும் நீக்கி நம்மைச் சுத்திகரிப்பதற்கு அவர் உண்மையும் நீதியும் உள்ளவராயிருக்கிறார்." ( 1 யோவான்  1 : 9 ) அப்படி நமது பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்படும்போது இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதன்படி, "உன் சூரியன் இனி அஸ்தமிப்பதுமில்லை; உன் சந்திரன் மறைவதுமில்லை; கர்த்தரே உனக்கு நித்திய வெளிச்சமாயிருப்பார்; உன் துக்கநாட்கள் முடிந்துபோகும்." என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

"Inside the Seeds" 🌳

Scripture Meditation No. 1625
AATHAVAN – Sunday, 20.07.2025

"Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended." — Isaiah 60:20 (KJV)

We who once lived in the darkness of a life without God—experiencing sorrow and grief—come to His marvellous light when we come to know Him. Our Lord Jesus Christ is that marvellous light and the true God. That is why, John the disciple who lived with the Lord and knew Him intimately, wrote about Him saying:

"That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world." — John 1:9 (KJV)

By saying "which lighteth every man," John makes it clear that Jesus is able to enlighten anyone, regardless of caste, religion, race, or nationality. When we accept this Light—Jesus Christ—into our lives, the darkness within us vanishes, and His Light begins to shine in us.

The sun and the moon shine only during specific times. But the Lord Jesus Christ is not limited to any particular time; He will be the everlasting light in our lives.

Not only that, today’s meditation verse also says, “the days of thy mourning shall be ended.” Yes, beloved, maybe your life seems dark as you read this today. Perhaps a hopeless future looms before you. But if you look to the Lord Jesus Christ and surrender yourself to Him, this marvellous Light will surround you. When the Light of this hope enters your life, it will neither go down nor disappear—it will be an everlasting light. The days of sorrow that troubled you until now will come to an end.

Furthermore, when we repent and surrender ourselves to Him, our former broken and forsaken life will be completely transformed. That is what He promised through the prophet Isaiah:

"Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations." — Isaiah 60:15 (KJV)

The Word of God is not meant to be merely read and forgotten—it is living truth that must bear fruit in our lives. These are the very words that come from the mouth of the Living God. When we believe and receive them, they will bring miracles into our lives.

Whatever trials, worries, sorrows, or problems we may face, let us lay them at His feet. Let us determine to live a life pleasing to Him. He eagerly waits for each of us. He stands near our hearts, waiting to dwell within. All we need to do is open the door of our hearts.

"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." — Revelation 3:20 (KJV)

Let us confess our sins to Him and ask for forgiveness:

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." — 1 John 1:9 (KJV)

When our sins are forgiven, as today’s verse promises:

"Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended." — Isaiah 60:20 (KJV)

🦋 Meditation verse - உபாகமம் 32 : 10 / Deuteronomy 32:10

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1624                                          ஆதவன் 19.07.2025 சனி           

"பாழான நிலத்திலும் ஊளையிடுதலுள்ள வெறுமையான அவாந்தர வெளியிலும் அவர் அவனைக் கண்டுபிடித்தார், அவனை நடத்தினார், அவனை உணர்த்தினார், அவனைத் தமது கண்மணியைப் போலக் காத்தருளினார்." ( உபாகமம் 32 : 10 )

இன்றைய தியானத்துக்குரிய வசனம் யாக்கோபு வானந்தரம் வழியாக நடந்துசென்றபோது தேவன் அவனோடு உடனிருந்து நடத்திய மேன்மையை நமக்கு உணர்த்தி நமது வாழ்விலும் தேவன் இத்தகைய வழிநடத்துதலைத் தருவார், எனவே நாம் பயப்படத் தேவையில்லை எனும்  நம்பிக்கையைத் தருவதாக உள்ளது. ஈசாக்கு  தனது மகன் யாக்கோபிடம், "தேவன் ஆபிரகாமுக்குக் கொடுத்ததும் நீ பரதேசியாய்த் தங்குகிறதுமான தேசத்தை நீ சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளும்படி ஆபிரகாமுக்கு அருளிய ஆசீர்வாதத்தை உனக்கும் உன் சந்ததிக்கும் அருளுவாராக என்று சொல்லி" ( ஆதியாகமம் 28 : 4 ) அவனை பதான் அராமிற்கு அனுப்புகின்றான். 

யாக்கோபு தனது தகப்பன் ஈசாக்கு தனக்குக்  கட்டளையிட்டபடி பதான் அராமிலிருக்கும் தனது மாமன் வீட்டிற்கு வனாந்தரம் வழியாக நடந்து சென்றான். கானானுக்கும் பதான்அராமிற்கும் இடையிலான தூரம் சுமார் 640 கிமீ (400 மைல்கள்) ஆகும் என்று இன்றையகால ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்கள் கணக்கிட்டுள்ளனர். இது முழுவதும் பாலைவன பாதையாகும். பாலைவனத்தில் உயிரைப்பறிக்கக்கூடிய கொடிய வனவிலங்குகள் பல உண்டு. தனியனாக வழிநடந்த அவனைக்  கொடிய  விலங்குகளிடம் சிக்கிப்  பலியாகாமல் தேவனே காத்துக்கொண்டார். 

இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் நாம்,  "பாழான நிலத்திலும் ஊளையிடுதலுள்ள வெறுமையான அவாந்தர வெளியிலும் அவர் அவனைக் கண்டுபிடித்தார், அவனை நடத்தினார், அவனை உணர்த்தினார், அவனைத் தமது கண்மணியைப் போலக் காத்தருளினார்." என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். ஆம், "கர்த்தர் ஒருவரே அவனை வழிநடத்தினார், அந்நிய தேவன் அவனோடே இருந்ததில்லை." ( உபாகமம் 32 : 12 )

இந்த வனாந்தர பயணத்தில் தேவன் அவனோடு பேசினார். வெளிப்பாடுகளைக் கொடுத்தார். இருள் சூழ்ந்த ஒரு இரவில் அவன் ஒரு கல்லில் தலை சாய்த்து உறங்கியபோது அவனிடம் தேவன் அற்புதமான கனவு மூலம் பேசினார். பூமிக்கும் வானத்துக்கும் இணைப்பான ஒரு ஏணியை அவன் கண்டான். "அதற்கு மேலாகக் கர்த்தர் நின்று: நான் உன் தகப்பனாகிய ஆபிரகாமின் தேவனும் ஈசாக்கின் தேவனுமாகிய கர்த்தர்; நீ படுத்திருக்கிற பூமியை உனக்கும் உன் சந்ததிக்கும் தருவேன்." ( ஆதியாகமம் 28 : 13 ) என்றார். அந்த இடத்திற்கு அவன் பெத்தேல் என்று பேரிட்டான் ( ஆதியாகமம் 28 : 19 ). 

பாலைவன பயணத்துக்குப் பின்னரும் அவன் வாழ்வில்  கடினமான  சூழ்நிலையே நிலவியது. ஆனாலும் தேவன் அவனோடு இருந்து அவனை ஆசீர்வதித்தார். அவன் திரும்பி தனது சொந்த நாட்டிற்குத் திரும்பியபோதும்  தேவன் அவனோடு ஒரு மனிதனாக இடைபட்டார். அவனோடு ஒரு இரவு முழுவதும் போராடினார் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.  அவன் மனிதர்களோடும் தேவனோடும் போராடி வெற்றிகண்டான். "அப்பொழுது அவர்: உன் பேர் இனி யாக்கோபு என்னப்படாமல் இஸ்ரவேல் என்னப்படும்; தேவனோடும் மனிதரோடும் போராடி மேற்கொண்டாயே என்றார்." ( ஆதியாகமம் 32 : 28 )

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவன் அனுமதித்து நமது வாழ்வில் வனாந்தர பயணம் வருமானால் யாக்கோபுக்கு வந்ததுபோல தேவனாலும் மனிதர்களாலும் அனுமதிக்கபட்டச் சோதனைகள் வரலாம்.  அதனால் நிச்சயம் பிற்காலத்தில் ஆசீர்வாதம் உண்டு. யாக்கோபு திரும்பி வரும்போது மிகப்பெரிய ஆசீர்வாதத்துடன் வந்தான். "அடியேனுக்கு தேவரீர் காண்பித்த எல்லா தயவுக்கும் எல்லா சத்தியத்துக்கும் நான் எவ்வளவேனும் பாத்திரன் அல்ல, நான் கோலும் கையுமாய் இந்த யோர்தானைக் கடந்துபோனேன்; இப்பொழுது இவ்விரண்டு பரிவாரங்களையும் உடையவனானேன்." ( ஆதியாகமம் 32 : 10 ) என்று கூறுகின்றான் அவன். 

இன்று நாமும் ஒருவேளை இதுபோல பாழான நிலத்திலும் ஊளையிடுதலுள்ள வெறுமையான அவாந்தர வெளியிலும் நடந்துகொண்டிருக்கலாம். கொடிய விலங்குகள் போன்று பல பிரச்சனைகள் நம்மைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கலாம். ஆனால் நாம் தனியாக இருப்பதுபோலத் தெரிந்தாலும் தனியாக இல்லை. தேவன் நம்மோடுதான் இருக்கின்றார். அவர் யாக்கோபைக்  கண்டுபிடித்ததுபோல நம்மையும் கண்டுபிடித்து நடத்துவார், தமது கண்மணியைப் போலக் காத்துக்கொள்வார். யாக்கோபோடு போராடினாலும் வனாந்தர வாழ்வில் பேசி வழிநடத்தியதுபோல நம்மோடும்  பேசி நம்மைத் திடப்படுத்துவார். தேவனோடுள்ள ஐக்கியத்தை மட்டும் நாம் விடாமல் பற்றிக்கொள்வோம்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1624
AATHAVAN – Saturday, 19.07.2025

"He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye." — Deuteronomy 32:10 (KJV)

Today's meditation verse highlights the greatness of God’s guidance in Jacob’s life as he journeyed through the wilderness. It gives us the assurance that God will likewise guide us, so we need not fear.

Isaac sent his son Jacob to Paddan Aram with these words:
“And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham.” — Genesis 28:4 (KJV)

Jacob obeyed his father Isaac and set out on foot through the wilderness toward his uncle’s house in Paddan Aram. Modern researchers estimate the distance between Canaan and Paddan Aram to be about 640 km (400 miles). This journey was entirely through desert terrain, which is often filled with dangerous wild animals. Yet, God protected Jacob from all harm along the way, even when he was all alone.

As we read in today’s verse: "He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye." And again: "So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him." — Deuteronomy 32:12 (KJV)

During this wilderness journey, God spoke to Jacob. He gave him revelations. One night, as Jacob slept with his head upon a stone, the Lord spoke to him through a marvellous dream. He saw a ladder connecting heaven and earth. “And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed.” — Genesis 28:13 (KJV) Jacob named that place Bethel (Genesis 28:19).

Even after the desert journey, Jacob faced many hardships in life. But God was with him and blessed him. When Jacob returned to his homeland, the Bible says God met him as a man and wrestled with him all night.
"And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed."
— Genesis 32:28 (KJV)

Dearly beloved, if God allows a wilderness journey in our life, we too may face trials permitted by God and people alike. But just like Jacob, blessings are assured in the end.

When Jacob returned, he did so with abundant blessings: “I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which thou hast shewed unto thy servant; for with my staff I passed over this Jordan; and now I am become two bands.” — Genesis 32:10 (KJV)

Today, we too may find ourselves walking through a desert land or a howling wilderness. Like wild beasts, many problems may surround us. Though we may seem alone, we are not alone—God is with us. Just as He found Jacob, led him, and preserved him as the apple of His eye, He will do the same for us.

Even if He wrestles with us like He did with Jacob, He will speak to us and strengthen us during our wilderness walk. Let us cling firmly to our union with God, and never let go.

🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 12 : 2 / Isaiah 12:2

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1623                                          ஆதவன் 18.07.2025 வெள்ளி          

"இதோ, தேவனே என் இரட்சிப்பு; நான் பயப்படாமல் நம்பிக்கையாயிருப்பேன்; கர்த்தராகிய யேகோவா என் பெலனும், என் கீதமுமானவர்; அவரே எனக்கு இரட்சிப்புமானவர்." ( ஏசாயா 12 : 2 )

மனிதர்களுக்கு நம்பிக்கையற்ற வேளைகளில் பயம் ஏற்படுகின்றது. நமக்கு இந்த இக்கட்டான வேளைகளில் யார் உதவுவார்? யார் நமக்கு வழிகாட்டுவார்? என நமது மனம் துவண்டுவிடும். இத்தகைய வேளைகளில் நாம் பெரும்பாலும் நமக்குத் தெரிந்த ஒவ்வொரு மனிதர்களாக எண்ணிப்பார்த்து இவர்களில் யாரிடம் இந்தப் பிரச்சனைக்கு உதவி கேட்கலாம் என்று எண்ணுவதுண்டு. 

ஆனால் வேதம் நமக்கு கூறும் அறிவுரை, "மனுஷனை நம்புவதைப்பார்க்கிலும், கர்த்தர் பேரில் பற்றுதலாயிருப்பதே நலம்."( சங்கீதம் 118 : 8 ) என்பதுதான். தேவனை நாம் நம்பும்போது ஏதாவது வழியில் நமக்கு உதவும் கரங்களை அவரே அனுப்புவார். 

சமீபத்தில் ஒரு செய்தியை வாசித்தேன். மாலை வேளையில் தோட்டத்தில் நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சச்  சென்ற விவசாயி ஒருவர் தவறி அங்கிருந்த கிணற்றுக்குள் விழுந்துவிட்டார். அந்தக் கிணற்றில் சிறிதளவு நீரே இருந்ததால் அவர் உடனே அங்கிருந்த ஒரு மரத்தின் வேரை பற்றிக்கொண்டு இரவு முழுவதும் ஜெபித்துக்கொண்டு இருந்தார். மறுநாளிலும் மதியம் வரை அங்கு எவரும் வரவில்லை. அவர் கூக்குரலிட்டு  அபயக்குரல் எழுப்பியும் யாரும் அவரைக் காணவில்லை. மாலை வேளையில் அங்கு ஆடு மேய்த்துக்கொண்டிருந்த மனிதர்கள் அவரைக் கண்டுபிடித்தனர். 

மேலிருந்து அந்த மனிதர்கள் அவரிடம், 'பயப்படாதே, தைரியமாய் இரு. நாங்க உன்னைக் காப்பாற்றிவிடுவோம்" என்று அவருக்குத் தைரியம் கூறினர்.  கிணற்றுக்குள் வீழ்ந்து கிடந்த மனிதனுக்கு அது எத்தனை பெரிய ஆறுதலாக இருந்திருக்கும்!! அவர் உள்ளத்தின் ஆழத்திலிருந்து தேவனுக்கு நன்றிகூறினார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் தேவனோடு ஐக்கியத்தில் இருப்போமானால் நமக்கு அவரிடம் நம்பிக்கை ஏற்படும். எந்த எதிர்மறையான சூழ்நிலையும் நம்மை மனம்மடியச் செய்யாது. நாமும் ஏசாயா கூறுவதுபோல, "தேவனே என் இரட்சிப்பு; நான் பயப்படாமல் நம்பிக்கையாயிருப்பேன்; கர்த்தராகிய யேகோவா என் பெலனும், என் கீதமுமானவர்; அவரே எனக்கு இரட்சிப்புமானவர்." என்று கூறி தைரியமாக இருப்போம். 

எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான யோவான் கூறுகின்றார்,  "அன்பிலே பயமில்லை; பூரண அன்பு பயத்தைப் புறம்பேத்  தள்ளும்; பயமானது வேதனையுள்ளது, பயப்படுகிறவன் அன்பில் பூரணப்பட்டவன் அல்ல." ( 1 யோவான்  4 : 18 ) என்று.  தேவனிடம் நாம் பூரண அன்பு கொள்ளும்போது அது பயத்தைப் புறம்பேத் தள்ளும். 

மட்டுமல்ல, அப்படி நாம் தேவன்மேல் நம்பிக்கைகொண்டு வாழும்போது பாக்கியவான்களாக இருப்போம் என்று வேத வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. "கர்த்தர்மேல் நம்பிக்கைவைத்து, கர்த்தரைத் தன் நம்பிக்கையாகக்கொண்டிருக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்." ( எரேமியா 17 : 7 )

ஆம் அபானவர்களே, நாம் எந்த வேளையிலும் தேவனை பற்றிக்கொண்டு அவர்மேல் அன்புகொண்டு வாழ்வோம். நம்பிக்கையற்ற சூழ்நிலைகள் வரும்போது, "தேவனே என் இரட்சிப்பு; நான் பயப்படாமல் நம்பிக்கையாயிருப்பேன்" என்று  நமக்குள் கூறிக்கொண்டு நம்மை நாமே திடப்படுத்திக்கொள்வோம். அவரிடம் நாம் பூரண அன்பு கொள்ளும்போது பயம் நம்மை விட்டு அகலும். நாமும் பாக்கியவான்களாக வாழ்வோம்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1623
AATHAVAN – Friday, 18.07.2025

"Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation." (Isaiah 12:2, KJV)

In moments when people are surrounded by hopelessness, fear arises. In such difficult times, our hearts grow weary—wondering who will help us, who will guide us? We often turn to people we know, thinking of each one, trying to decide from whom we might seek help for our crisis.

However, the wisdom the Bible gives us is this: “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.” (Psalm 118:8, KJV)

When we place our trust in God, He will send helping hands in ways we do not expect.

Recently, I read a story. One evening, a farmer went to water his garden and accidentally fell into a well nearby. Fortunately, there was only a little water in the well. Grabbing onto a tree root, he held on tightly and spent the whole night in prayer. Until the following afternoon, no one came by. Even though he shouted for help, no one heard him.

Finally, in the evening, some shepherds grazing their goats near the area saw him. They called down to him, saying, “Don’t be afraid, be courageous. We will rescue you!” How great a comfort those words must have been to the man who was trapped in the well! From the depths of his heart, he gave thanks to God.

Dear beloved, when we are united with God, we develop trust in Him. No negative circumstance can discourage us. Like Isaiah, we too can say boldly:

“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation.” (Isaiah 12:2, KJV)

That’s why the apostle John says: “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” (1 John 4:18, KJV)

When we love God with perfect love, that love will drive out fear.

Not only that—the Bible also declares that we are blessed when we trust in God: “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.” (Jeremiah 17:7, KJV)

Yes, beloved, at all times let us hold on to God and live with love for Him. When we face situations that seem hopeless, let us strengthen ourselves by saying, “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid.” When we love Him completely, fear will flee from us, and we will live as blessed people.

🦋 Meditation verse - ஓசியா 6 : 6, 7 / Hosea 6:6-7

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1622                                          ஆதவன் 17.07.2025 வியாழன்            

"பலியை அல்ல இரக்கத்தையும், தகனபலிகளைப்பார்க்கிலும் தேவனை அறிகிற அறிவையும், விரும்புகிறேன். அவர்களோ ஆதாமைப்போல் உடன்படிக்கையை மீறி, அங்கே எனக்கு விரோதமாய்த் துரோகம் பண்ணினார்கள்." ( ஓசியா 6 : 6, 7 )

இன்று பொதுவாக பலரும் ஜெபம், வழிபாடுகள், வேத வாசிப்பு, உபவாசம்  இவைகளே தேவன் விரும்பும் செயல்கள் என்று எண்ணி இவைகளைக் கைக்கொள்வதற்கே முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுக்கின்றனர். ஆனால், தங்களை ஆவிக்குரியவர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொள்ளும் பல மனிதர்களிடமும் நாம் கனியுள்ள வாழ்க்கையைக் காண முடிவதில்லை. காரணம், ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வுக்கு மேற்குறிப்பிடப்பட்ட பக்திக் செயல்கள் மட்டும் போதும் என்று அவர்கள் எண்ணுவதுதான்.  ஆனால் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வுக்கு இவைகள் முக்கியமானவை என்றாலும் இவற்றை மட்டும் நாம் கைக்கொண்டு நமது தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்க்கையினை மாற்றிக்கொள்ளாமல் இருப்போமானால் அதனால் எந்தப்  பலனுமில்லை; நமது வாழ்வில் கனிகளைக் காணவும் முடியாது. 

முதலில் நாம் நமது வாழ்வில் தேவனைத் தனிப்பட்ட விதத்தில் அறிந்தவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். வாழ்வில் தேவனை அறியாமல் நாம் செய்யும் செயல்பாடுகள் யானையைப் பார்த்தக் குருடர்கள் செய்த செயல்களைப் போன்றவைதான்.  தேவனை நாம் அறியாவிட்டால்,  யானையைச் சுவராகவும், தூணாகவும், கயிறாகவும், முறமாகவும் அவர்கள் பார்த்ததுபோல நாமும் தேவனைக்குறித்து நமக்குள்ளே தவறாக எண்ணிக்கொண்டுதான் வாழ்வோம்.  

தேவனை அறியும்போது மட்டுமே அவரது தெய்வீக குணங்கள் நமக்குள் வரும். குறிப்பாக, அன்பு, இரக்கம் போன்ற குணங்கள் நமக்குள் தேவனால் வரும் குணங்களாகும். நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு நாளில் நாம் செய்த இரக்கச் செயல்களே நமக்குத் துணையாக நிற்கும்.  "ஏனென்றால், இரக்கஞ் செய்யாதவனுக்கு இரக்கமில்லாத நியாயத்தீர்ப்புக்கிடைக்கும்; நியாயத்தீர்ப்புக்குமுன்பாக இரக்கம் மேன்மைபாராட்டும்." ( யாக்கோபு 2 : 13 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

மட்டுமல்ல, நாம் வெறும் பக்திச்  செயல்பாடுகளோடு நிறுத்திக்கொள்ளாமல் தேவ வார்த்தைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்தவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். "கர்த்தருடைய சத்தத்திற்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறதைப்பார்க்கிலும், சர்வாங்க தகனங்களும் பலிகளும் கர்த்தருக்குப் பிரியமாயிருக்குமோ? பலியைப்பார்க்கிலும் கீழ்ப்படிதலும், ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களின் நிணத்தைப்பார்க்கிலும் செவிகொடுத்தலும் உத்தமம்." ( 1 சாமுவேல் 15 : 22 ) என்று ஏசாயா நூலில் வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில், "அவர்களோ ஆதாமைப்போல் உடன்படிக்கையை மீறி, அங்கே எனக்கு விரோதமாய்த் துரோகம் பண்ணினார்கள்" என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஏதேன் தோட்டத்தில்  தேவன் ஆதாம் ஏவாளோடு உலாவினார். அப்போது அவர்களுக்கு அவர் நிறைவேற்றிடமுடியாத பெரிய கட்டளைகளைக் கொடுக்கவில்லை. ஒரு சிறு கட்டளைதான் கொடுத்தார். ஆனால் ஆதாம் அதனை மீறினான். அதுபோலவே இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களும் தேவ கட்டளையை மீறினார்கள். இன்றும் மனிதர்கள் தேவ கட்டளைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடுப்பதில்லை. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, ஆவிக்குரிய பக்திச் செயல்களல்ல, தேவனை நமது வாழ்வில் தனிப்பட்ட விதத்தில் அறிந்து அவரோடு இணைந்து வாழ்வதே அவசியம். தேவ வார்த்தைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியவேண்டியதே  அவசியம். "உங்கள் பலிகளின் திரள் எனக்கு என்னத்துக்கு என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களின் தகனபலிகளும், கொழுத்த மிருகங்களின் நிணமும் எனக்கு அரோசிகமாயிருக்கிறது; காளைகள், ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகள், கடாக்களுடைய இரத்தத்தின்மேல் எனக்குப்பிரியமில்லை." ( ஏசாயா 1 : 11 )

இன்று நாமும் ஆதாமைப்போல எந்தெந்த விதங்களில் தேவ கட்டளைகளுக்கு எதிராக செயல்பட்டுள்ளோம் என்று எண்ணிப்பார்ப்போம். தேவ கட்டளைகளுக்கு எதிராகச் செயல்படுவது துரோகம் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. காரணம் நாம் அவருக்கு விரோதமாகச் செயல்படும்போது அவரை அவமதிக்கின்றோம்; அவரைக் காலால் மிதிக்கின்றோம். ஆம், "தேவனுடைய குமாரனைக் காலின் கீழ் மிதித்து, தன்னைப் பரிசுத்தஞ்செய்த உடன்படிக்கையின் இரத்தத்தை அசுத்தமென்றெண்ணி, கிருபையின் ஆவியை நிந்திக்கிறவன் எவ்வளவு கொடிதான ஆக்கினைக்குப் பாத்திரவானாயிருப்பான் என்பதை யோசித்துப்பாருங்கள்." ( எபிரெயர் 10 : 29 )

ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தனது பரிசுத்த இரத்தத்தால் உருவாக்கிய புதிய உடன்படியையை ஆதாமைப்போல் நாமும்  மீறிடாமல்; தேவனுக்குத் துரோகம் செய்திடாமல்  நம்மைக் காத்துக்கொள்வோம்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1622
AATHAVAN – Thursday, 17.07.2025

“For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings. But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.”
— Hosea 6:6-7 (KJV)

Today, many people tend to think that prayer, worship, Bible reading, and fasting are the primary things that God desires, and thus give utmost importance to such spiritual practices. However, even among those who claim to be spiritual, we often fail to see a life bearing true spiritual fruit. Why is that? It is because they assume that engaging in these devotional acts alone is sufficient for a spiritual life.

Though these spiritual disciplines are important, if we focus only on these without allowing them to transform our personal lives, they become fruitless. A truly spiritual life must produce spiritual fruit.

First and foremost, it is essential that we develop a personal knowledge of God. Without knowing God intimately, all our spiritual acts are like the deeds of the blind men who each perceived the elephant differently—one as a wall, another as a pillar, a rope, or a fan. Similarly, if we do not truly know God, we too will live with a distorted understanding of Him.

Only when we truly know God can His divine attributes begin to manifest in us. Especially virtues like love and mercy are godly qualities that must be instilled in us by Him. On the day of judgment, it is these merciful deeds that will stand as our defense.

"For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment." — James 2:13 (KJV)

Moreover, we must not stop with mere religious acts, but live in obedience to God's Word.

“Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.” — 1 Samuel 15:22 (KJV)

Today’s meditation verse says, “But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.” In the Garden of Eden, God walked with Adam and Eve. He didn’t give them burdensome commands—just one simple instruction. Yet Adam disobeyed it. In the same way, the people of Israel violated God’s commands. Even today, many continue in disobedience to God’s Word.

Yes, beloved, it is not the religious rituals that define true spirituality, but knowing God personally and walking in fellowship with Him. Obedience to His Word is absolutely essential.

"To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats."
— Isaiah 1:11 (KJV)

Let us examine in what ways we, like Adam, have acted against God's commandments. Today’s meditation verse tells us that such disobedience is treachery. When we act contrary to God's will, we dishonour Him and trample upon His holiness.

“Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden underfoot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?” — Hebrews 10:29 (KJV)

Let us not become like Adam, breaking the new covenant established by the Lord Jesus Christ through His precious and holy blood. Let us guard ourselves from acting treacherously toward God.

🦋 Meditation verse - சங்கீதம் 103 : 13, 14 / Psalm 103:13-14

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1621                                          ஆதவன் 16.07.2025 புதன்           

"தகப்பன் தன் பிள்ளைகளுக்கு இரங்குகிறதுபோல, கர்த்தர் தமக்குப் பயந்தவர்களுக்கு இரங்குகிறார். நம்முடைய உருவம் இன்னதென்று அவர் அறிவார்; நாம் மண்ணென்று நினைவுகூருகிறார்." ( சங்கீதம் 103 : 13, 14 )

தங்களது பிள்ளைகள் எத்தனை பெரியவர்கள் ஆனாலும் தாய் தகப்பன்மாரைப் பொறுத்தவரையில் அவர்களைக் குழந்தைகளாகவே பார்க்கின்றனர். காரணம், சிறு வயதில் அவர்கள் ஒன்றும் அறியாத பருவத்திலிருந்து அவர்களை வளர்ப்பதால் தங்கள் பிள்ளைகள் இன்னும் பல காரியங்களை அறியவில்லை எனும் எண்ணம் அவர்களை அறியாமல் அவர்களுக்குள் இருப்பதே. அது ஓரளவு உண்மையாகவும் இருக்கின்றது. 

அதுபோல நமது தேவனும் நம்மை எண்ணி நடத்துகின்றார். நம்முடைய பலம், பலவீனம்   இன்னதென்று அவர் அறிவார்; நாம் மண்ணென்று, அதாவது நாம்  பலவீனர்கள் என்று நினைவுகூருகிறார். அதனால் தகப்பன் தன் பிள்ளைகளுக்கு இரங்குகிறதுபோல, கர்த்தர் நமக்கு இரங்குகிறார். ஆனால் இன்றைய தியான வசனம் வெறுமனே இரங்குகிறார் என்று கூறாமல், "தமக்குப் பயந்தவர்களுக்கு இரங்குகிறார்" என்று கூறுகின்றது. 

பயந்தவர்களுக்கு என்று கூறுவதால் அவரைக்கண்டு பயந்து ஓடுபவர்களுக்கு என்று பொருளல்ல, "தீமையை வெறுப்பதே கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படும் பயம்." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 8 : 13 ) என்று நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். அதாவது, தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமில்லாத காரியங்களை நாம் செய்யாமல் அவற்றை வெறுப்பதே அவருக்குப் பயப்படும் பயம். அத்தகைய பயம் நமக்கு இருக்குமானால் தகப்பன் தன் பிள்ளைகளுக்கு இரங்குகிறதுபோல, அவர் நம்மீது இரங்குவார்.  

இதற்கு யோசேப்புடைய வாழ்க்கை நமக்கு ஒரு மிகச் சிறந்த உதாரணம். கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படும் பயம் அவருக்கு இருந்ததால் மிகப்பெரிய பாவச் சூழ்நிலையையும் வெற்றிகொண்டார். அவர் தனது  வாழ்வில் எல்லா நேரங்களிலும் தேவனை முன்னிறுதிப் பார்ப்பவராக இருந்தார். இப்போதும், தேவ ஐக்கியமா  அல்லது அற்பமான பாவ சந்தோஷமா? எது மேலானது என்று எண்ணிப்பார்த்தார். முடிவில் தேவ ஐக்கியமே மேலானது எனக் கண்டுகொண்டார். அதனை இழக்க அவர் விரும்பவில்லை. எனவே,  "நான் இத்தனை பெரிய பொல்லாங்குக்கு உடன்பட்டு, தேவனுக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பாவம் செய்வது எப்படி என்றான்." ( ஆதியாகமம் 39 : 9 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இதுதான் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படும் பயம். 

இப்படி பாவ காரியங்களுக்கு பயந்து விலகி நடப்போமானால் தேவன் நமக்குத் தகப்பனைபோல இரங்குவார் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. மட்டுமல்ல, நாம் மண்ணென்று, அதாவது பலமில்லாதவர்கள் என்று அவர் அறிந்துள்ளதால் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் நாம்  முன்னேற உதவுகின்றார். "அந்தப்படியே ஆவியானவரும் நமது பலவீனங்களில் நமக்கு உதவிசெய்கிறார். நாம் ஏற்றபடி வேண்டிக்கொள்ளவேண்டியதின்னதென்று அறியாமலிருக்கிறபடியால், ஆவியானவர்தாமே வாக்குக்கடங்காத பெருமூச்சுகளோடு நமக்காக வேண்டுதல்செய்கிறார்." ( ரோமர் 8 : 26 )

மேலும், நாம் தேவனுக்குப் பயந்து தீமைக்கு விலகுகின்றோமென்றால் நாம் தேவனை அன்பு செய்கிறோம் என்று பொருள். அப்படி நாம் அவரை அன்புசெய்து வாழ்வோமென்றால் நமது வாழ்வில் நடைபெறும் அனைத்துக் காரியங்களும் நன்மைக்கு ஏற்றதாகவே இருக்கும். "அன்றியும், அவருடைய தீர்மானத்தின்படி அழைக்கப்பட்டவர்களாய்த் தேவனிடத்தில் அன்புகூருகிறவர்களுக்குச் சகலமும் நன்மைக்கு ஏதுவாக நடக்கிறதென்று அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்." ( ரோமர் 8 : 28 )

கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்த வாழ்க்கை வாழ நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1621

AATHAVAN – Wednesday, 16.07.2025

“Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.” — Psalm 103:13-14 (KJV)

No matter how grown-up children may become, in the eyes of their parents—especially their father and mother—they remain as little ones. This is because the parents have raised them from infancy, from a stage when they knew nothing. Deep within, there remains a persistent sense that their children still lack understanding in many matters. And to an extent, that is indeed true.

Likewise, our God deals with us in the same manner. He knows our strength and our weaknesses. He remembers that we are but dust—frail and limited in nature. Therefore, just as a father shows pity to his children, the Lord also shows mercy toward us. However, today's meditation verse does not say simply that He has pity on everyone, but specifically, “He pitieth them that fear him.”

The phrase “them that fear him” does not refer to those who are afraid of God and flee from Him. Instead, Scripture explains,

“The fear of the Lord is to hate evil.” — Proverbs 8:13 (KJV)

This means, to fear God is to abhor and avoid doing anything displeasing to Him. If we live with such godly fear, then the Lord will surely have compassion on us, just as a father pities his own children.

Joseph’s life serves as a powerful example in this regard. Because of his fear of God, he was able to resist and overcome the temptation of a grave sin. In every moment of his life, he kept God before him. He weighed the choices between fleeting sinful pleasure and eternal fellowship with God. Realizing that communion with God was far more precious, he chose not to lose it. Therefore, he said,

“How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” — Genesis 39:9 (KJV)

Dearly beloved, this is the true fear of the Lord.

If we live in such a way that we fear sin and walk away from it, God promises to deal with us like a compassionate father. Not only that, since He knows that we are but dust—fragile and powerless—He helps us advance in our spiritual life. As the Word says:

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” — Romans 8:26 (KJV)

Furthermore, if we truly fear God and turn away from evil, it means we love Him. And when we live in love for God, everything that happens in our life will ultimately work together for good. As the Scripture assures us:

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” — Romans 8:28 (KJV)

Let us therefore surrender ourselves to live a life that fears the Lord.

🦋 Meditation verse - நீதிமொழிகள் 21 : 23 / Proverbs 21:23

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1620                                          ஆதவன் 15.07.2025 செவ்வாய்          

"தன் வாயையும் தன் நாவையும் காக்கிறவன் தன் ஆத்துமாவை இடுக்கண்களுக்கு விலக்கிக் காக்கிறான்." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 21 : 23 )

மனிதர்கள் செய்யும் பல்வேறு பாவங்களில் நாவினால் செய்யும் பாவங்களே அதிகம். மற்ற உறுப்புகளால் செய்யும் பாவங்களாக இருந்தாலும் பல வேளைகளில் அந்தப் பாவங்களுக்கு மூல காரணம் நாவாகவே இருக்கின்றது. மட்டுமல்ல, மற்ற பாவங்கள் ஒருவேளை காலப்போக்கில் மறையலாம்; ஆறிப்போகலாம் ஆனால் நாவினால் செய்யும் பாவங்கள் மனிதர்களை அழிப்பது மட்டுமல்ல, யாருக்கு எதிராக நாம் பேசுகின்றோமோ அவர்களது வாழ்க்கையையும் அது அழித்து ஒழிப்பதாக இருக்கின்றது. எனவே அந்தப்பாவங்கள் நமது ஆத்துமாவை நரகத்துக்கு நேராக இழுத்துச் செல்வனவாக இருக்கின்றன. 

"தீயினால் சுட்டபுண் உள்ளாறும் ஆறாதே  நாவினாற் சுட்ட வடு." என்று திருவள்ளுவரும் கூறுகின்றார். தீயினால் சுட்டதால் ஏற்பட்ட புண் சில நாட்களில்  ஆறிவிடும், ஆனால் நாவினால் நாம் ஒருவருக்கு எதிராகப் பேசும் சொற்கள் வடுவாக என்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கும்.  பல்வேறு கொலைகள், ஏமாற்றுக்கள், வஞ்சகங்கள் இவை நாவினால் வெளிவரும் வார்த்தைகளால் ஏற்படுகின்றன. காரணம், இவை இருதயத்திலிருந்து வெளிவருபவை. "வாயிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிறவைகள் இருதயத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுவரும்; அவைகளே மனுஷனைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தும்." ( மத்தேயு 15 : 18 ) என்றார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. 

மேலும் பலர் பல்வேறு உபவாசங்கள் ஒறுத்தல்கள் செய்து கடவுளைத் திருப்திப் படுத்தலாம் என்று எண்ணிக்கொண்டு சில உணவுவகைகளைத் தவிர்க்கின்றனர்.  நாவின் சுவைகளைக் கட்டுப்படுத்த முயன்று ஒருசில  உணவு வகைகளைத் தவிர்ப்பதை தேவன் மேலானதாகக் கருதுவதில்லை. மாறாக வாயைப் பாவமில்லாமல் காப்பாற்றுவதையே மேலானதாக எண்ணுகின்றார். எனவேதான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறினார், "வாய்க்குள்ளே போகிறது மனுஷனைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தாது, வாயிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிறதே மனுஷனைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தும் " ( மத்தேயு 15 : 11 )

அப்போஸ்தலரான யாக்கோபு, "அப்படியே, நாவானதும் சிறிய அவயவமாயிருந்தும் பெருமையானவைகளைப் பேசும். பாருங்கள், சிறிய நெருப்பு எவ்வளவு பெரிய காட்டைக் கொளுத்திவிடுகிறது! நாவும் நெருப்புத்தான், அது அநீதி நிறைந்த உலகம்; நம்முடைய அவயவங்களில் நாவானது முழுச்சரீரத்தையும் கறைப்படுத்தி, ஆயுள் சக்கரத்தைக் கொளுத்திவிடுகிறதாயும், நரக அக்கினியினால் கொளுத்தப்படுகிறதாயும் இருக்கிறது!" ( யாக்கோபு 3 : 5 - 6 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

ஆனால் இன்று ஆவிக்குரிய ஆராதனைகளில் கலந்துகொள்கின்றோம் என்று கூறிக்கொள்ளும் பலர்கூட தங்களது நாவினைக் கட்டுப்படுத்துவதில்லை. தேவனை அறியாத மனிதர்கள்கூடப் பேசாத  சாபத்துக்குரிய வார்த்தைகளைக்கூறி மற்றவர்களை பலவேளைகளில் சபிக்கின்றனர். இது இன்று நேற்றல்ல, அப்போஸ்தலரான யாக்கோபு காலத்திலும் இப்படியே இருந்திருக்கின்றது. எனவேதான் அவர் கூறுகின்றார், "நாவை அடக்க ஒரு மனுஷனாலும் கூடாது; அது அடங்காத பொல்லாங்குள்ளதும் சாவுக்கேதுவான விஷம் நிறைந்ததுமாயிருக்கிறது. அதனாலே நாம் பிதாவாகிய தேவனைத் துதிக்கிறோம்; தேவனுடைய சாயலின்படி உண்டாக்கப்பட்ட மனுஷரை அதினாலேயே சபிக்கிறோம்." ( யாக்கோபு 3 : 8, 9 )

இருதயத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு மனுஷனைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தும் நாவை நாம் கவனமுடன் கையாளவேண்டியது அவசியம். தேவையில்லாத வார்த்தைகளைப்  பேசுவதைத் தவிர்த்தாலே நாம் பல பாவங்களைத் தவிர்க்க முடியும்.  அதனையே தேவன் விரும்புகின்றார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, "தன் வாயையும் தன் நாவையும் காக்கிறவன் தன் ஆத்துமாவை இடுக்கண்களுக்கு விலக்கிக் காக்கிறான்" எனும் வார்த்தைகள் எப்போதும் நமக்கு நினைவில் இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். பிறரைப்பற்றி நல்லதையே பேசுவோம். பிறரைக்குறித்த தீமையான காரியங்களை அறிந்திருந்தால் அவற்றை நமக்குள்ளே அடக்கிக்கொள்வோம். 

"கர்த்தாவே, பொய் உதடுகளுக்கும் கபடநாவுக்கும் என் ஆத்துமாவைத் தப்புவியும். கபடநாவே, உனக்கு என்ன கிடைக்கும்? உனக்கு என்ன செய்யப்படும்? பலவானுடைய கூர்மையான அம்புகளும், சூரைச்செடிகளை எரிக்கும் தழலுமே கிடைக்கும்." ( சங்கீதம் 120 : 2 - 4 )

Scripture Meditation No. 1620
AATHAVAN – Tuesday, 15.07.2025

"Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles." — Proverbs 21:23 (KJV)

Among the many sins committed by mankind, sins committed through the tongue are the most prevalent. Even if the sin is executed through other parts of the body, often the root cause originates from the tongue. Moreover, while other sins may fade over time, the sins of the tongue not only destroy the sinner but can also deeply damage and ruin the lives of those they target. Such sins are capable of dragging one’s soul straight into hell.

As the Tamil poet Thiruvalluvar said, "A burn from fire may heal, but not a wound from the tongue." A wound caused by fire may heal in a few days, but words spoken against someone remain as lasting scars. Many murders, betrayals, and deceptions begin with words uttered by the tongue. Why? Because they proceed from the heart.

As Jesus Christ said, “But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man."— Matthew 15:18 (KJV)

Many attempt to please God by fasting or avoiding certain foods, thinking it is spiritual. They try to restrain the tastes of the tongue, but God does not consider this superior. Rather, He desires that we keep our mouth from sin. Hence, Jesus said: "Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man."
— Matthew 15:11 (KJV)

Apostle James wrote: "Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell." — James 3:5–6 (KJV)

Yet today, many who claim to participate in spiritual worship fail to control their tongues. Even people who do not know God often curse others with foul language. This is not a new issue. It existed even during the time of Apostle James. That is why he declared: "But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God." — James 3:8–9 (KJV)

It is vital to handle the tongue with caution, as it proceeds from the heart and has the power to defile a man. By merely refraining from speaking unnecessary words, we can avoid many sins—and that is what God desires.

Yes, beloved, let us keep the verse always in mind: "Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles." — Proverbs 21:23 (KJV)

Let us speak only good about others. If we know any evil about someone, let us suppress it within ourselves.

"Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue. What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue? Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper." — Psalm 120:2–4 (KJV)

🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 54 : 7, 8 / Isaiah 54:7–8

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1619                                          ஆதவன் 14.07.2025 திங்கள்         

"இமைப்பொழுது உன்னைக் கைவிட்டேன்; ஆனாலும் உருக்கமான இரக்கங்களால் உன்னைச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்வேன். அற்பகாலம் மூண்ட கோபத்தினால் என் முகத்தை இமைப்பொழுது உனக்கு மறைத்தேன்; ஆனாலும் நித்திய கிருபையுடன் உனக்கு இரங்குவேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய உன் மீட்பர் சொல்லுகிறார்." ( ஏசாயா 54 : 7, 8 )

நமது வாழ்க்கையில் சிலவேளைகளில் துன்பத்துக்குமேல் துன்பங்கள் தொடரும்போது, அல்லது நமது ஜெபங்களுக்குப் பதில் கிடைக்காதபோது நாம் மனம் சோர்ந்துபோவதுண்டு. தேவனோடு எந்தத் தொடர்பும் இல்லாமல் வெறுமனே ஜெபித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும் சாதாரண விசுவாசிகளுக்கு இது பெரிதாகத் தெரியாது. காரணம், அவர்கள் தேவ உறவை வாழ்வில் தனிப்பட்ட விதத்தில் அனுபவித்து அறியாதவர்கள். ஆனால் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் நாம் தேவனோடு தொடர்பில் வாழும்போது தேவனது இந்த "இமைப்பொழுது கைவிடல்" நம்மைச் சோர்வடையச் செய்துவிடும். 

இப்படிப்பட்ட வேளைகளில் பல்வேறு எதிர்மறையான எண்ணங்கள் நம்மைக் கவலைக்குள்ளாக்கும். நமது விசுவாசம்கூட தளர்ச்சியடையும். தேவன் நம்மைத் தள்ளிவிட்டாரோ? என எண்ணத்தோன்றும். ஆனால் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் அப்படி சந்தேகப்படத் தேவையில்லை. காரணம்,  நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் கூறினார், "பிதாவானவர் எனக்குக் கொடுக்கிறயாவும் என்னிடத்தில் வரும்; என்னிடத்தில் வருகிறவனை நான் புறம்பே தள்ளுவதில்லை." ( யோவான் 6 : 37 ) என்று. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் அவருக்கு ஏற்புடைய வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது  தேவன் நம்மை முற்றிலும் கைவிட்டு விடுவதில்லை. ஆனால் இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதன்படி அவர் அற்பகாலம் மூண்ட கோபத்தினால் தனது  முகத்தை இமைப்பொழுது நமக்கு  மறைத்தாலும் நித்திய கிருபையுடன் நமக்கு இரங்குவார். 

இப்படி தேவன் இமைப்பொழுது நம்மைக் கைவிடுவதால் நாம் பல ஆவிக்குரிய காரியங்களை உணர்ந்து கற்றுக்கொள்ளமுடியும். முதலாவது, தேவனில்லாத வாழ்க்கை என்பது எத்தனை பரிதாபத்துக்குரிய கைவிடப்பட்ட வாழ்க்கை என்பதனை நாம் இதன்மூலம் அனுபவத்தில் தெளிவாகக் கண்டு உணர்ந்துகொள்ள முடியும். எனவே, நாம் அவரது உடனிருப்பு நமக்குத் தேவை என்பதனை உணர்ந்துகொள்கின்றோம். மேலும், அவர் இல்லாவிட்டால் நாம் ஒன்றுமில்லை என்பதனை இதனால் கண்டுகொள்கின்றோம்.

இரண்டாவது, இமைப்பொழுது அவர் நம்மைக் கைவிடும்போது  நமது ஜெபங்களை அவர் கேட்காததுபோன்ற அனுபவம் ஏற்படும். அது, பரத்திலிருந்து எந்த உதவியும் நமக்கு இல்லாததுபோன்ற உணர்வைத் தரும். நமக்குக் கிடைக்கும் அனைத்து உலக மற்றும் ஆவிக்குரிய காரியங்களும் பரலோகத்தின் அனுமதிபெற்றே கிடைக்கின்றது. "நன்மையான எந்த ஈவும் பூரணமான எந்த வரமும் பரத்திலிருந்துண்டாகி, சோதிகளின் பிதாவினிடத்திலிருந்து இறங்கிவருகிறது" ( யாக்கோபு 1 : 17 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ள வசனம் உண்மை என்பதனை நாம் அனுபவத்தில் கண்டுகொள்கின்றோம். நமக்கு எதுவும் கிடைக்கவேண்டுமானால் நமது ஜெபங்களல்ல மாறாக, தேவனது கிருபை அவசியம் என்பதனைக்   கண்டுகொள்கின்றோம். 

மூன்றாவது, அவர் நம்மைக் கைவிட்டதுபோலத்  தெரிந்தாலும் நம்மை விட்டு அவர் எங்கும் சென்று விடுவதில்லை. ஒரு தாய் நடக்கப்பழகும் குழந்தைத் தட்டுத்தடுமாறி நடக்கும்போது கீழே விழுந்தாலும் உடனே சென்று தூக்கிடாமல் குழந்தை தானாக எழுந்து நடக்க அதற்கு நேரம் கொடுப்பாள்.  அதுபோலவே தேவனும் நமது சில வீழ்ச்சிகளை அனுமதிக்கின்றார். ஆனால் ஆபத்தான சூழ்நிலை ஏற்படும்போது விரைந்து வந்து நம்மைத் தூக்கிவிடுகின்றார்.  இந்த உண்மையினை அவர் இமைப்பொழுது நம்மைக் கைவிடும்போது நாம் கண்டுகொள்கின்றோம். தேவனது தனிப்பட்ட  அன்பை உணர்ந்து கொள்கின்றோம். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் தேவனுக்குமுன் நேர்மையான வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போதும்  நமக்குச் சிலவேளைகளில் எதிர்மறையான காரியங்கள் நடைபெறுமானால் மனம் சோர்ந்துபோய்விட வேண்டாம். இது இமைப்பொழுது தேவன் நம்மைக் கைவிடுதல்.  இந்த இமைப்பொழுது தேவ கைவிடுதல் தாற்காலிகமானதுதான். விசுவாசத்துடன் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வைத் தொடர்வோம். "மகனே, மகளே கலங்காதே, நித்திய கிருபையுடன் உனக்கு இரங்குவேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய மீட்பர் சொல்லுகிறார்."

“For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer.” — Isaiah 54:7–8 (KJV)

At certain times in life, when afflictions follow one after another or when our prayers seem to go unanswered, we may become discouraged. Casual believers who pray routinely without maintaining a real relationship with God may not fully grasp this experience. That’s because they have never known the personal depth of a divine relationship. But for those of us who live in spiritual communion with God, even a momentary sense of His silence — this "small moment of forsaking" — can feel heavy and disheartening.

During such times, various negative thoughts may trouble us. Our faith may begin to waver. We may wonder, “Has God truly abandoned me?” But dearly beloved, we need not doubt. Because our Lord Jesus Christ has clearly promised:

“All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” — John 6:37 (KJV)

Yes, beloved, when we live a life that is pleasing to Him, God will never completely forsake us. As today’s meditation verse states, though He may hide His face from us for a brief moment in a burst of wrath, He will gather us with everlasting mercy.

It is through this “momentary forsaking” that we begin to discern and learn many spiritual truths:

1. The Reality of Life Without God

We begin to understand, even experientially, how miserable and forsaken life is without the presence of God. This realization makes us crave His nearness. We come to see that without Him, we are nothing. His presence is not optional — it is essential.

2. The Silence in Prayer

When He hides His face, it may feel like our prayers are not being heard. We sense a lack of help from above. Yet this draws us to recognize that every spiritual and earthly blessing we receive comes only through the will of heaven.

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights…” — James 1:17 (KJV) We come to see that it's not merely our prayers that bring results — but God’s grace is the deciding factor.

3. His Watchful Presence Even in Silence

Even when it appears as if God has forsaken us, He never truly leaves. Just as a mother gives her toddler space to stumble and learn to walk without immediately picking them up, so does God allow us to experience certain spiritual falls. But when danger arises, He swiftly lifts us up. Through these moments, we come to understand His personal love more deeply.

Yes, beloved, even when we live sincerely before God, negative circumstances may still arise. But do not be discouraged. These are merely brief moments when God hides His face. They are temporary. Let us continue our spiritual walk with faith.

“Son, daughter, be not dismayed; with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer.”
